i been having wint thoughts related to an actual thing that happened to me at work a couple years back

i was in the mens dept doing something work related

this woman ive never met before was like 'are you autistic?' n i was like 'yea why' and she tells me that she was looking for tshirts for her daughter and how she prefers the mens tshirts

and i was 'oh same actually, they are less restrictive and fit comfier, also cooler designs on em usually'

and she was like 'oh i thought so!' or something

and then thats the last i remember of the situation..

so im putting her in a similar conversation in my mind (but shes the customer) and is recommended a book (probably have it somewhere in idyllshire) to check out and it explains a bunch and shes like 'woa thats me fr' and immediately lends it to both sylb (mum) and chilli (best friend)

and also because of this and the whole shadowbringers situation both thancred and y'shtola get more protective and insistant that she is told upfront what she is signing up for when she agrees to a thing (because i am very good at: 'want to do x?', 'sure!' ... 'wait what exactly am i doing? i thought it was this? no oh okay..')

Modern LCF AU where Lily and Bassen get tired of people trash talking their brother— specially because they know a lot of what they say is exaggerated or down right slander— so they create the first and only (for now) Cale Henituse Appreciation Account (the original one, of course).

The posts alternates between iconic Og!Cale quotes and wholesome annecdotes about him in no particular order and answers fighting hate posts about him.

Some people follow them because they're funny but almost no one believes them. So they decide to reclute Hans to their efforts.

Why? Because he's a good photographer. He has an account dedicated to cute photos of random cats.

Their next post is a short video of Og!Cale crunching down in front of a stray dog, both of them staring at each other and tilting their heads in synchronization. The video ends when the dog puts a muddy paw on his shoulder. He whispers "You're a good girl" and giggles.

When winter break is over, Og!Cale is widely confused. He went away for some weeks to deal with stuff and when he came back no one feared him anymore. No one avoids him, no one looks at him like they day couldn't get worse. Some people even greeted him. Genuinely, friendly greeted him. Not the fake two faced greet people do because they have to.

Rok Soo seats next to him and he's so relieved that he's the same as always— Until he asks him if he plans to adopt the dog.

What dog? What do you mean that "from the video"? What video? There's an account of what?!

He opens his phone and checks it quickly.

Og!Cale, immediately recognizing the pattern speech: Lily, what are you doing on twitter? You're too young.

Lily: It's fine. Oppa and Hans are with me.

I've been a bit of a salty spitoon over the recent events unfolding at NYCC so here's some GOOD news (sorta) >:00

I say (sorta) because I'm not a huge fan of mongie's work (or mongie herself) either, but DAMN if this lady doesn't know how to GET SHIT DONE-

I don't know what the Let's Play After Dark or Omnibus works are, but it's really cool to see Linda Sejic's art here, I had NO idea what to expect when mongie announced she was going to NYCC and collaborating with Linda. I'm assuming Omnibus is likely a novelization or some kind of complimentary book to Let's Play because it has over 700 pages of stuff which is wild. Unless they just went and re-skinned the Volume 1 cover of Let's Play, I have no clue but it looks great. As for After Dark, yeah, again, no clue LMAO

Let's Play is returning in 2025, AND she's starting up a new series over on Manta (a publishing platform that's open to NSFW material which will definitely be better for mongie's work and will hopefully give WT a run for their money LOL) She hasn't stated yet where Let's Play's new home will be, but I'm assuming if it's not Manta, it might be a new independently-run site altogether, but again, we'll just have to wait and see. I remember her mentioning she wanted to do a fantasy series on her Patreon ages ago so it seems like she's finally getting the opportunity to do so. I have no idea what she's going to do with Let's Play after its S3 jump the shark finale LMAO

She's getting some merch made with BIOWORLD which is neat, though it'll be interesting to see how the quality comes out because the last creator I saw working with BIOWORLD was Smythe and the merch was uhhhh- not great. I posted about it on IG a while back but I don't know if I ever talked about it here so I'll def make that as a separate post for anyone who's curious.

But the BIG one - Let's Play is getting an anime, and it's from an actual animation studio which is a way bigger sign that it's a sure thing.

Again, I'm not a huge fan anymore of Let's Play or mongie in general, but I gotta give her credit where credit is due, she had WAY more to show for herself at NYCC than Rachel did, and the fact that she did all this after burning her bridges with WT, that's gotta sting for WT's and Rachel who still don't have anything to show for an animated TV show after four years. At this rate, there are gonna be more creators succeeding on a mass scale by choosing not to publish with Webtoons than those who did.

And who knows, maybe the anime adaption will tidy up all the problems original Let's Play had. It remains to be seen, but I think it's pretty neat to see mongie making such strides since she left the platform.

Maybe this is big brained or cope or something, but it feels like Jinx got ambushed by Smeech's crew on purpose.

At first, I was shocked to see Jinx be easily taken down the way she was, her reaction time was significantly slower than even her pre-shimmer surgery. But what if that was on purpose?

We know Jinx can convincingly cry and be pathetic on cue. We saw Jinx do it with Sevika, and Sevika bought it!

We've seen Jinx practically KO a Firelight twice her weight with a kick before she was given shimmer. In the clip, she just swats the smallest scraphacker back (making sure she's not too crowded).

Jinx can withstand the strength of the scraphackers augments, where their fist are practically pistons and force of their hold can clearly break through the brick that keeps Zaun upright, but she can't break out if it?

It was only after I saw Jinx's smile and brazen confession rattle Smeech did I remember that not only did Jinx's gun go unattended in the mist, but so did the big inconvenient package Jinx was holding that prevented her from blocking in the first place.

The same package that's shaped like Sevika's new arm and the gun both managed to convienently be knocked towards Sevika's direction while the Scraphackers were distracted by Jinx.

By the end of the clip, you're about to get Sevika on one side of the alley and Jinx on the other, with the Scraphackers are dead in the middle.

Tldr: The question isn't why would Jinx do let herself get beaten up a little. The question is, can Jinx commit to the bit? Survey (Sevika) says yes.

Also, would Sevika put Jinx in a position to take a punch to the face as a treat while they team up? Survey also says yes.

This is probably the only place I can talk like this without getting ambushed by the people who disagree, but I just need to go on a little rant because I am so tired of certain people in this community acting like the things that the band do have to revolve around them and their preferences. I'm sick of these people pitting people against each other for different opinions on the new boxest.

I literally do not care that pitch correction was used on Freddie's voices, it, to me, literally sounds no different, just a lot clearer. I do not care that the drums are harsher, I do not care that I can hear the bass too much, I do not care that the guitars take over at the end (like they were intended to), and I do not care what other people think!

Okay, I'm gonna be honest here; there are people in this fandom that hate me. They've blocked me, restricted me, called me a manipulative liar and a horrible person for calling them out on their ugly and quite frankly demeaning behaviours - from sending an angry mob after Brian May, threatening to leave the fandom because 200 likes on instagram isn't enough for certain fandom artists, reposting art after it 'only' got 400 likes, and being willing to argue with every single person in every single commen section. Not to mention the parts of the fandom that lie about Freddie's sexuality and relationships, claim Brian and Freddie (or Brian and John) hated each other, start rumours about how homophobic/transphobic/abusive the members were, shittalking people in their own side of the community and then acting like an innocent victim that deserves nothing but joy is actually abhorrent.

Now I get that I'm biased, and I may come off condescending or rude or cocky but I'm sick of it - the amount of people in this community I've looked up to, treated like best friends or older siblings only to then find out the way they have actually truly pisses me off to no end. So I'm gonna call a little psa here:

If nothing the band do is good enough for you, if you complain about every video (okay we don't have to talk about TNCD vid, it was atrocious but that's a separate paragraph), every song, every piece of merch, every event, every concert date and every choice the band make, then you are not a fan!!

If you hate one of the band members, you're not a fan.

If you hate Adam Lambert, you're not a fan.

If you think Brian is Homophobic/Transphobic/Rasict, you're not a fan.

If you think Roger is an animal abuser, you're not a fan.

If you don't respect every members privacy and mental health, you're not a fan.

If you don't respect their spouses and children, you're not a fan.

And if you do not respect the band and the community that has risen you up and made you well known, you're not a fan.

I'm done with the entitlement that people in this community have, and I know this is out of nowhere and really harsh but I'm so sick of the way people thing it's okay to act. What happened to the sense of family in this community?

            “I’m a soldier, I’ve only ever followed orders, but now that I’m this…” Anthony looked confused, unsure himself what the word fully meant, “dragonborn, they look to me to lead, and I don’t know if I can.”

            Lydia sat beside him on the fallen log, watching him.

            His head sunk with a sigh. “I’m sorry to burden you with all of this.”

            “I told you, I don’t mind carrying your burdens.”

            He looked up to her through narrowed eyes. “That’s not exactly what you said.”

            “Well…” she glanced away, something shy in her stoic face, “it’s what I’m saying now.”

            His head lifted, surprised.

            “Maybe I was mad at first,” an edge in her voice began sharpening as it went, “that the gods would choose not a Nord on not the Nord’s side to be the Nordic hero, but…” exhaling, the edge softened, “then you risked your life to save Stormcloak farmers.”

            “Well, of course,” he looked confused, “they were people who needed help, wouldn’t anyone have-?”

            “No,” she turned to him, expression sad but warm, “and that’s why the gods chose well.”

            He stopped, surprised.

            “And you’re doing a good job leading us,” she smiled.

            Touched, he slowly smiled back.

            “Well, except for when you get us ambushed by bandits.”

            The smile dropped into a quick gape. “I knew it probably was an ambush.”

            “Uh huh,” she looked unconvinced.

            “But what if he really needed help? You can’t just walk past someone who might need help!”

            “Even when it’s probably an ambush?”

            “Like I said, it might not have been.” Catching that the fire was dwindling, he faced forward to stoke it. “And if we didn’t fall into the trap then someone else would’ve, and they might not have had weapons or an idea that it was probably an ambush. It’s our duty to protect those who can’t protect themselves, so we have to fall into traps…”

            Lydia smiled fondly as he rambled on.

On traits cybertronians see as attractive, I remember seeing the someone post that Getaway and Brainstorm were both considered some of the most atractive Bots on the Lost Light.

Both have gold faces, both have gold/yellow eyes both have four major colors in their palet instead of three, and at least one non primary shade of color.

You know who else had more than three colors in his color scheme? This vain ass mofo:

From this I figure Gold is an atractive color for faceplates and eyes. And more complex paint coloring especially with natural paint nanites is prized.

Speaking on a hypothetical level for human (unless like Drift you're into chi, reki, and aura work) you'd also have EM feilds. That's a completely diffrent sense. How a bot's em feild feals against another bot's might factor heavily into atractiveness. And the fact the bots and cons are all locked down hard because of the habits of the war, they'd be pretty much their equivalent of touch starved. But that's a diffrent topic.

I'd also bet specific kibble and frame types have plenty of corresponding kinks and fetishes. As well as folks who just have a little thing a specific part. Knockout has a thing for nice rims after all.

N can fit 5, Creeps can fit 2 or 3. But this is only if they're starving starving. That's their max capacity. They prefer half that amount to feel satisfied, and anything more than that (1 or 2 for either of them) is gonna make them a bit bloated.

do we agree that the punch yuuji managed to land in sukuna is extremely similar if not of the same kind as the punch yuuji received from mahito's ultimate self-transfiguration form? yuuji seems to have the ability to directly inflict damage to the soul.

having in mind mahito was able to morph into a stronger body only when he realised the truest essence of his soul, which he achieved through the understanding of how black flashes work, would it be so weird to think that yuuji could potentially do the same thing as well? especially when: a) yuuji has managed to land (if i'm not mistaken in the number) a total of 7 black flashes so far in multiple occasions; b) yuuji has in his possession yuki's research on the soul; and, c) yuuji showed up with body modification to fight sukuna alongside higuruma.

yuuji was able to somehow manipulate his body into changing both of his arms (one arm with claws, much alike the one sukuna had when he was trapped inside yuuji's body, and one slightly similar to mahito's enlightened form).

yuuji is extremely insightful and it's not weird to think he might have taken his past experiences, especially instances with sukuna and mahito, to learn from them. joint with the fact yuuji is able to swap souls/bodies, something that was probably possible due to yuki's research, could yuuji have an understanding or even the ability of something akin to soul manipulation? i feel like with yuuji and mahito thematically being two sides of the same coin especially, something that is acknowledged by them with the "i am you" dialogue, it would be interesting if they essencially used a similar power to achieve opposite goals.
