[How to play: Write the opening line from the last ten fics that you posted and see if there are any patterns!]

Tagged by the inestimable @blue-grama! I've been writing long enough that I feel like I have a pretty good handle on my writing and how this meme is going to go. So, a prediction:

Most of my opening lines are going to be something in the ballpark of "here's the situation" type text. I'm not sure if it'll be dialogue or text otherwise, but I know I love to start with the crux of the situation and move out from there when writing fic generally.

Let's see what the actual opening lines look like!

But something is off! You can really tell that Aob and Puen are trying to one-up each other. They're in their competitive phase, trying to fight for the title of most favorite Playboyy. Who will win, I wonder?

So far I'd say Puen is winning. Aob can mock him all he wants, he won't be able to wipe that happy little smile off of Puen's face XD

Oh~ Aob is now Puen's mentor and things are getting interesting between those two! Will Aob try to sabotage Puen's career, will he help him in the end? Or will he make Puen his boyfriend? :D

And now we've got a complication of Aob and Puen, Phop with a client and Porche and Jump 😋 (that I can't show cause tumblr is being a bitch about it...) But mixed with Aob's advice, which actually gives you a lot to think about. Especially the part about forcing oneself do to things for the client, even when you're not into it.

Well, I guess Puen is the only prostitute who's enjoying himself right now... The other's are just doing their job. That's the sad reality of sex workers. Not to say they can't enjoy their work, but most of the time they're probably just going through the motions.
