NetworkMAT: Streets of 2morrow

SUMMARY The Network Materials (NetworkMAT) (Simmons, 2023) series includes assets for building modern road networks in Sims 2. Use these items to enhance your city’s streets, walkways, highways, skyways, bridges, and so on.

Streets of 2morrow (Simmons, 2022-2023) adds intricate, modern road networks to your game with a look inspired by SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow (EA, 2013). It includes winter-ready road replacements, 40+ road overlays, and 130+ modular floor tiles. The road defaults contain no visible grass/dirt, so they’ll work with all terrains. Road overlays come with several recolors for a variety of projects, including bike lanes and narrow roads.

DETAILS Requires ALL EPs/SPs. Blue, gold, white, and A/B tiles should be used together respectively. There are left- and top-aligned versions to maintain the hex pattern across all tiles. Some corner tile seams will be visible - this is a default game quirk - but they’re hardly noticeable when used with other tiles.

No new driveway recolors are included. To create matching driveways, combine the floor tiles with invisible driveway/extension objects such as these by RoddyAeixo (2006).

When in lot view, the neighborhood roads at the edges of the lot appear darker. This is another default quirk, but they match perfectly in hood view.

Since there are no grass/dirt medians, you’ll need to move the mailbox, trashcan, and/or phone booth at least two tiles from the front of the lot.

childhood:

being born into a crime family wasn’t an easy pill to swallow. while they were a kid, akira and his mom had a very close relationship. often, most would see him attached at the hip to his mother. his dad, most of the time, was too busy dealing with deals and taking over the city to even notice when the pair weren’t at home. even going as far as being successful in kindergarten and elementary school. their parents were often told that he was a child genius. at that time, his angel would dress him like his own personal doll, and he was often called the face of the family. but at the age of eight, his mom was taken out as a hit against his family. the hit happened while he was at the park with his mom.

adolescent:

it was after his mom passed that akira realized she was the only person who truly cared for his well-being. there was no longer a reason for him to dress up nicely and go outside when going outside was the thing that killed his mother. his grades started declining, and he became more cautious of those who would approach him. his family started seeing him less and less when it came to dinner and weekly meetings. it was in moments when he shut himself in that he fell in love with computers. even while shut in, he wanted to prove himself to his father. so, when requested to dig up information on his enemies, he would use his knowledge to find out anything and everything that could be used to bring them down. it was also during this time that he struggled with his self-identity and being comfortable in his own skin.

Audrey was born the last child, she wasn't expected at her mothers age but she wasn't a surprise either because her parents had always talked about having a little girl one day and when Audrey was born, she was everything her parents imagined her to be. As she got older her mother put her in dance classes to wear off her energy but didn't realize she was going to be top of her class in it and would go on to win state and regional championships. All through out high school she was classified as a 'do it all' girl, she was captain of her swim team, cheerleading team, dance team and prom queen.

As she got older however, her brothers pulled away from her, seeing her as the apple of her parents eye seeing as they handed her everything she ever asked for in life. However, the youngest of her brothers remained close to her that was until her parents filed for divorce after her mother had cheated with her fathers best friend. Audrey was fifteen when she and her mother moved to Fairford, her father seeing it be best he raised the boys but however still made sure his daughter had everything she'd need but the mother getting nothing which gave Audrey's mother a bad taste in her mouth towards her daughter.

After High School Audrey went immediately off to college to get her business and financial degree, that was when she met a slightly older man, not by many years but still enough to catch Audrey's eye. She got pregnant with her son at twenty-one years old, the man had decided his career gain was more important so Audrey gave birth to her son, alone. She had been a single mother and still graduated with honors at the top of her class in both areas of her degree. A few years passed, she was out one night and had met the same man that had left her years earlier, had a one night stand and had become pregnant again with the same man's child, she gave birth to her daughter three months ago and while she was pregnant opened her own cookie shop and bought her own house in the suburbs. Both of which her dad helped her out with, giving her lavish gifts and spoiling his grandchildren is the way her dad makes up for sending her off when she was just a teenager.

NaClYoHo Wrap-ups

Another project that was on my NaClYoHo list that I never quite got to was reorganizing my kitchen cabinets, specifically my spice/baking/tea cabinet. I recently had a frustrating cooking experience (being out of spices I thought I had), so I decided to go ahead and order some organizers to help me get things under control and dove in today.

I bought two organizers to help get things put away in a manner that would hopefully leave them easily accessible/viewable so I don't keep accidentally buying multiple of the same spice (I have multiple things of Cream of Tartar, Cardamom, Garam Masala, and Mustard Seed currently, Please send recipes.). I also specifically needed something for my hot sauce collection (a friend got me an advent calendar).

For the spice cabinet, I got a 3-step, expandable acrylic organizer. At first, I thought it was going to be waaaay too big. but it actually works out reallywell.

It's on the second shelf from the bottom. On the left side are misc. short spices in the front and all my "whole seed" spices in the back. On the right are duplicate/replacement spices in the back and misc. tall spices in the front.

I tossed some things that had expired about 2 years ago, and I'm hoping the brown sugar will soften up some and become more scoopable.

I also bought a set of really cool magnetic spice racks! For storing my hot sauces.

They stick to the side of my fridge, so I had zero installation difficulty. And I tried to roughly group them by type so it'll be easier to find whatever I'm in the mood to try. Not sure what I'll use this for once I use up those sauces. But clearly that's not gonna happen for a while. (This is not, by any means, all the hot sauce I own. I've got....7 or so full-size bottles of stuff elsewhere. Really need to start using these up!)

There were 4 racks in the set, and I didn't have room to stick the 4th one to the fridge b/c of how the cabinets open. So I used it to store my daily seasonings instead:

On the left is a Whiskey Habanero hot sauce I've been enjoying. On the right is a packet of hot toddy mix I kinda-sort forgot I had. Gonna try to use it up this winter! Tucked just behind it is a little journal where I can keep notes about the different hot sauces I try.

The Glassware cabinet didn't get much reorganization. I mostly just found some vases and other things to donate that I don't use.

That rectangular jar on the left in the second shelf holds dried chili peppers, btw. Can you tell I like spicy food?

I've also clearly reached a certain phase of adulthood that has a lot in common with early childhood and pet-hood. Being stupidly happy about cardboard boxes!

I was almost happier about the fact that my new things came in a cardboard box that is perfect for collecting my donation items than I was about the organizers themselves, lol.

I'm hoping that reorganizing these cabinets and making my various sauces/spices more accessible will encourage me to cook more often. I really enjoy it, but it's one of those things my depression has really impacted.

I currently have a roast in the crock pot (good vehicle for hot sauce) and plan to saute some spinach and zucchini to go with it (good time to use a spice blend). We'll see how that goes.

Glitches and Oversight fixes:

-Fixed a huge oversight where the game softlocks if you deplete your HP before seeing (almost) every candidate's first cutscene at the start of the game by making you go back outside and giving you some HP back.

-Caught some cutscenes where you're teleported to the wrong map. (The wrong season, specifically.)

+Placed every map back after HOPEFULLY adding every trainer and Pokemon I want.

I'm... I'm very tired.

Graphics:

-Made spring and fall graphics.

-Recolored your surfboard so it sticks out better and the outline matches the outline of every other overworld "object." If I cared more I'd reshape it and make it more obvious that I'm basing it on the surfboard in Pokemon Snap, but I don't really care enough right now. (Maybe someday.)

+Started fixing up some of the cut Pokemon that I plan on adding in the future. (I don't need to do this right now, but I was going insane trying to code them in in the first place. Doing this was my break from that)

Pokemon:

-Apparently some of the cut Gen 3 Pokemon already had Pokedex entries, so I replaced whatever I had with those instead.

+Spent hours adding in Pokemon that I might want to have in the game. They're not even in the game yet.

Story:

-Made it so you can skip the intro and the cutscenes that lets you meet the marriage candidates.

--Also made a second counter for meeting the candidates, just in case. (Pierce doesn't count. He never counted for that.)

-Made Alderic not talk to you until you try to leave the bar after Umeko and Jayce's cutscene. He'll just stand there going "..." until you try leaving.

Misc:

-There are four seasons now. I THINK I got everything connected correctly. Even if I didn't, there are "failsafes" that will teleport you to the right map in place.

These maps do (or should) have different Pokemon. At least for the most part. I did some research on fish and the origins of water Pokemon to find out which ones would survive in which temperature. Fun fact- most of them would die during the winter time! I struggled to find Pokemon for Salacia's winter map because of that.

--I did have two more "clearing" maps, but I failed to keep wild Pokemon away from them. Instead of going through all of that bullshit again for the... Fucking fifth time, maybe? I'm just going to make you go through the "summer" clearing unless it's winter. I can use the two others for late game caves if I want.

-I'm keeping some of the maps numbered for a while. (I was going to do this anyway, but for a different reason.)

-Moved where the "underwater" map is to the Atargatis Beach map. How underwater maps work in this game is weird, kind of complicated and wouldn't work with more than one map going to the same place. Since it wasn't an important thing anyway I figured that it'd be better to just move it.

+Added a bunch of trainers who I might not even use. (I'm almost definitely using the random ones at least.)

+Added some items, kind of. Apparently the breaking point was me trying to add "just in case" items. Thankfully (I guess) I had a bunch of items for things that I scrapped, so I just replaced those instead of adding new ones. And I replaced some key items that the game came with that I wasn't going to use. Most of them are just Macguffins- two being super generic- but still.

A "Macguffin" is just something to move the story along. It doesn't matter what it is.

For example: when I needed to get Esmaralda out of the way for either her or Alan's events (I can't remember which one) I'd make her say that she needs to make Raylene "McMuffins." It didn't matter why she needed to go. She just needed to go, so I thought making her need to make something that sounds like "Macguffin" would be funny.

Natives perfect for a ski resort (with northeast in mind)

I am procrastinating on doing my actual work and wanted to do something fun.

I ski (or at least used to before I moved) and honestly, a lot of times it was just sticks and sticks and sticks, which is fine, but today I am making an imaginary ski resort and these are the main plants I would include in it to make it ✨aesthetic ✨ only using natives! There is something so refreshing about the idea of designing something for just one season.

Ok, so first things first! lets talk evergreens! Obviously, the time people are visiting a ski resort is in dead winter, so we want to cater to it.

Eastern Hemlocks:

The eastern hemlock is struggling in a lot of regions due to an invasive bug right now, but I list it in hopes of a swift recovery and because they are one of my favorite conifer trees. They have soft short needles and tiny pinecones. They tend to keep lower branches also, which gives them a very Christmas tree shape.

Eastern White Pine (or any other pine that is native is fine):

There are a lot of pines that are very pervasive, but I think the appeal of them is there larger cones and their long needles. In the winter it is always so beautiful to see them coated with ice!

Red Spruce or Black Spruce (black spruces have cooler looking cones) :

While further south spruces are harder to find native populations, I still include them in this list because I am ADAMENT that at my imaginary ski resort there would be specialty spruce tip soda and beer, but I want them to be native not planting invasive for the commodity.

Eastern red cedar:

not actually a cedar, it is actually a juniper. They get these beautiful blue berries on them (I think just the females though). And their bark is very pretty!

Now we can't just plant conifers, biodiversity is the spice of life, so for other trees, I think the thing most important in the winter is what is bark looks like or is it holds fruit/color:

this plant actually leans pretty southern and hugs the coast the further north you go, so because of that I can say eh, depending on the ski resorts location I could lean toward excluding it (unlike the spruce).

winged sumac and staghorn sumac:

they have bundles or cones of red berries though out winter, enough said.

next it is addressing interesting bark starting with...

yellow birch:

we have a pretty hefty population of yellow birch trees in my families woods and they have a very pretty coppery bark that peels.

Paper birch:

This one is just a classic when we think of birch trees and unique bark, but I feel like I would mostly plant these by the lodge because it might be hard to see while skiing. Although if we planted enough of them maybe we could tap them and make a ski resort special birch syrup (less sweet than maple syrup, but a little sweeter than molasses).

Sycamores:

Stunning, every time.

Alright! enough with trees, lets talk shrubs/ small trees.

Canadian Yew:

red berries and evergreen? Hell. Yeah.

Winterberry holly and viburnum:

There was one of these growing on the side of the road on my route to my university and I would enjoy looking at it every winter.

American Barberry:

red. berry.... I tried eating one because it said they were edible... was not a fan honestly. Is it wrong to put this one in a sky place if it is thorny?

snowberry:

A white berry this time! we are switching it up

Red-osier dogwood:

I see these everywhere, and I still love them, so! here they are, literally just red sticks.

and then more evergreens!

northern white cedar and common juniper:

northern white cedars are a tree actually and probably could have gone in the tree section but I was mentally picturing them as more decorative. And then common juniper to take up some ground cover space.

Alright! I am feeling pretty good about this, now time for some misc. items. These are for ground cover, while snow can be generated for the slopes, a lot of times you get a warm spell that will melt and expose the ground. In times like that, we still want things to look festive!

Partridge berries and Pine moss:

Eastern teaberry and American Cranberry:

I wasn't going to include these.... but I have to. Teaberry plants smell so good, an absolute must have. Maybe at the lodge we could offer a special teaberry tea. Or teaberry hot cocoa?! Yum.

And cranberries would be such a fun thing to say you are growing idk.

I would also like to note that my imaginary ski lodge takes great pride in the native wildflowers we maintain in our ski lanes over the summer months.

Well anyway! I had a good time, there are definitely more plants that I didn't feature because I felt this was already an infinitely long post, like spicebush, American strawberry bush, etc. and more. I encourage you to add to this post if you want to.

While I did this entirely for fun, I do recognize some of these species prefer more shade, or more wetness than may be possible at my imaginary ski lodge. Also, always be sure to check the native ranges of plants before purchasing them to get the most benefit from planting natives.

But! it is good to highlight all these beautiful winter plants.

**Final note, I am by no means an expert! I am a geologist, but in undergrad I took a couple environmental classes because I am also very passionate about it. I grew up outdoors, I still love outdoors, but I can still be very ignorant about it.**

- i elected to pick up NICK as a companion, partly because i haven’t travelled with him solo yet and partly because i’m planning to sidequest a bit before going to the MEMORY DEN, and the particular place i want to head first is not somewhere i want to take PALADIN DANSE just yet - i’m not sure if he’ll insist on my surrendering HIGH TECH LOOT to the BROTHERHOOD at this stage of our relationship..

- looking around NICK’s office was a fun little exercise. i’m pretty sure that there’s maybe a small handful of templates for BOSTON BUGLES (or maybe only one, i haven’t payed super close attention), but given that the headline focuses on the conviction of a crime boss, i do find it interesting that this is front and centre on NICK’s (unusually tidy for a detective) desk.

- come to think of it, i’m not actually entirely sure how old he is. were there SYNTHS before the bombs fell? maybe he was a SLEEPER SYNTH posing as an actual detective and had a hand in this case, before whatever happened that shredded his artificial skin (the bombs, maybe, or just two centuries of wear and tear without healing/regrowth capabilities).

- either way, why would he still be looking into the case after all this time? does something not add up, if not with his work then with the work of the detective at the time? is “EDDIE WINTER” still around somehow, maybe as another SYNTH or a GHOUL or something? the game is afoot.

- i picked up some other CASE FILES lying around and immediately lost them in the MISC section of my INVENTORY. it would be really useful if there were some kind of “sort by date added” option for this - there’s no way to tell what item is relevant to the current quest unless you remember its specific name >:(

Q&A with Cornelia Funke - 05.07.2021

You guys probably know the drill by now. I’ve sorted it into topics to make it easier to read, have fun!

Mirrorworld

Q: What happened during Will’s and Nerron’s travels between the 3rd and 4th book?

A: Cornelia could spend hours thinking about that, figuring out the things they tell her and the things they don’t. She’ll keep the question in mind because she would also like to know the answer.

Bookstore Guy: “Maybe whatever they did is too... private to tell you?” (...  👀) Cornelia: “Very possible.” (.......  👀) “Dustfinger is like that, too, he barely ever wants to talk to me.”

Q: Do the residents of Ink-/Mirrorworld have a name for their world, like how we call our planet “Earth”?

A: Cornelia thinks that’s an excellent question and since their world is very similar to ours, the name would probably be similar as well. Gaia, maybe?

Inkworld

Q: Will we learn more about the Black Prince’s younger sisters in the new book?

A: Cornelia says “Ooohhhh!” and writes it down. She just started working on TCoR chapters again, so she’s been collecting ideas and thanks us for all the suggestions.

Q: Are there any magical items in the Inkworld that no one has found yet?

A: The Inkworld and the Mirrorworld are the same, so yes, there are. Inkheart (the book) itself is magical and so is the fire. Fenoglio has only seen a very small part of the Inkworld and he thinks that’s all there is but in TCoR we will discover new places that will make the connection very clear.

Q: What would Rosanna’s path have been like, had she lived? Perhaps she would have taken after her father?

A: Cornelia loves the idea and agrees that Rosanna probably would have shared many traits with Dustfinger. But, hers was a life unlived... Perhaps she will still take after Dustfinger in her next life?

Q: Could the Black Prince and Robin Hood be the same person?

A: No, definitely not. Robin Hood has a very anglo-saxon, white background; the Prince is black and from Africa. He is very different from Robin Hood as a person. He didn't used to be royalty or anything like that, he grew up in poverty... But they do share similar goals!

Q: Has Brianna shared what happened to her after the events of Inkdeath?

A: Not really, not yet. Cornelia is starting to discover some things but it takes a lot of time. Brianna is a character who likes to hide.

- Cornelia is realising that there is a lot of interest from readers regarding the story about Dustfinger’s and the Black Prince’s childhood/youth and she made a note to work on that asap

Other Books

Q: How long did it take to finish the new Dragon Rider book, Curse of Aurelia?

A: Cornelia started in winter 2018 while she was evacuated due to the fires. She’s been working on it on and off ever since and estimates it’s been 14 months of pure research and writing.

Because she wrote it in English but the publishing date for Germany was rescheduled to be earlier than originally planned, there’s been a lot of very complicated translation work. Right now she’s waiting for feedback from the Chumash tribe because she used elements and characters from some of their stories and they’re making sure she didn’t mess anything up.

Q: Why are Frieda and Fred a couple now, it’s heartbreaking!

A (and I’m just gonna quote Cornelia directly here): “No no no. Listen. There’s no need for broken hearts. It’s been 12 years and Sprotte and Fred split up pretty peacefully at some point in the past. Part of the reason for that was that Sprotte went to New Zealand and Fred wanted to stay in Germany.

Things like that happen all the time, despite all the love in the world. Take it from someone who’s 62 years old by now and who has lived many different forms of love. Also, Sprotte is not upset at all and she’s fallen in love with someone else- you’ll see. You already know the person. It’s a beautiful and passionate lovestory.

Fred and Frieda meanwhile are happy that Sprotte is there because she knows Fred so well that she can give them good advice. And I think it’s a beautiful thing when people who were once in love with each other can still be friends afterwards, even though the romance may not work out anymore. No need for broken hearts, really.”

Q: Does Cornelia come up with titles for her books at the beginning of the writing process or does it take more time? A: Depends on the book and the language she’s writing in

- Cornelia’s new book about letters and herbs is almost finished. She’s still unsure about the title - she’d like to include the word “kingdom” but that same word in german (”Königreich”) carries a lot of male energy which doesn’t fit the story

Q: What’s the biggest difference between Pan’s Labyrinth the film and Cornelia’s book?

A: Cornelia hopes there is no “biggest difference” because she tried to keep things canon compliant. But he did add short stories to give some characters a background story. Otherwise, she didn’t feel it was her place to mess with a perfect story.

Misc.

- The stream started with a ten minute tour of the bookstore and the bridge it stands on while Cornelia just silently sat there

...and I thought that was pretty funny. My favorite quote: “This house was build in 1567, so... it’s pretty new.”

- They are going to give away signed bookmarks and stuff again once Cornelia is settled in Italy

Q: Does Cornelia bind her own notebooks?

A: No, but she would like to. The botebook she uses for TCoR was made by a bookbinder in Scotland, usually she just uses moleskin hardcovers.

Q: Is Cornelia always satisfied with translations of her work?

A: Absolutely not, but she thinks a perfect translation is impossible. You always have to make compromises.

- Cornelia was recently invited to a village that belongs to the Chumash tribe and got to feed their sacred fire, a deeply touching experience she struggles to put into words

Q: What’s Cornelia’s favorite language to write in?

A: She can’t answer that because it depends on the book. For example, she couldn’t write about the Inkworld or the Mirrorworld in English, it wouldn’t fit. Writing Dragon Rider in English was fun, though, because the English language often feels “lighter” than German.

- Cornelia has no idea which language she dreams in

- Any time Cornelia reads that men and women can’t be friends she wants to slap the person who wrote it because it’s such annoying nonsense

- Minors will be able to stay at the farm in Italy as long as they’re self-reliant because Cornelia doesn’t have time to be anyone’s mom. There’s also always the Spiegelhof in Germany, which would be an easier option.

- Cornelia wants to invite environmental activist to her farm as well as artists

- Cornelia thinks parents should have more time to get to know their children before deciding on a name for them

- Cornelia firmly believes in reincarnation but isn’t sure why

Story:

+Started Jayce’s pre-marriage schedule.

Graphics:

-I re-revamped the Honoguma line. I made them red(dish) at first because I was thinking that the art that somebody made of it was official. (I think it was reported as such for a long time.) Now they’re orange like intended, but if you’ve gotten used to the original color scheme you can download the “replaceable graphics” folder to replace them with colors closer to the original scheme I had them as.

Official art or not, I’m keeping Happa as it is because Chikorita never really changed between 1997 and 1999. It was really just the middle line that was different.

-I also re-revamped the Kurusu line. I’m not going to re-revamp all of the sprites. Not right away anyway. I just wanted to do the starters since they’re, well, the Pokemon the player starts with. (Besides Tauros.) I’ll show off the two that I think turned out best but I’m not going to have a comparison for all of them.

-Fixed up Gorotora’s front sprite, including giving it a new tail.

-Gave the remaining Pokemon that didn’t have icons, icons. (So far)

+I made one future Pokemon look better(?) while I was at it. I mostly just had to fix up it’s (her’s?) colors.

Features:

-Now there’s an incentive to have both the Cacturne doll and the Pokemon guarding your berries. The Pokemon will run inside of your house if the weather is bad, it’s winter or if you have the Cacturne doll outside. It won’t do anything but be cute because it can’t hunt from inside.

The Murkrow will only destroy your berries in the morning, so if you have a TV you can see when there’s going to be bad weather and you can place the Cacturne outside and not have to worry about Murkrow for the rest of the day.

-The random NPC that’s inside of the Pokemon Center in Pomona will now only show up on Mondays, but if you talk to him while there’s a furniture store in town he’ll tell you what Pokemon you need to guard your berries. (It’s Meowth.)

-I found out how to eat food on the go! ...Mostly. You can’t just eat something straight from your bag- you need to sit in designated spots first. These are either cushions inside of a Pokemon Center or flowers. These areas are only in or near areas you can lose HP in.

For some reason it doesn’t work on “food” that doesn’t do anything for Pokemon, so no chocolate, cookies, etc. Because of that I removed those options if you’re “eating at home.” (I’m not about to make them effect Pokemon just for a few HP.) You can still make those things as gifts for people.

Ine’s cooking will still give you more HP than if you make food from home, for the most part. The exceptions are Ice Cream (since it’s not made for Pokemon) and anything you take to-go.

Because of this I made sure that you’ll lose HP outside of the town area in certain places. Mostly when you’re cutting trees or breaking rocks. (So far.) Breaking rocks in Tellus will only take a way half of your HP. You can eat at the Pokemon Center there.

The “trees” in the Proserpina gym will take away 1 HP each, but there are flowers where you can eat food while inside of that gym. I also added a couple of trees to Communa town that’ll take away 2 HP each, but will also give you 5 logs each.

There’s also some flowers you can eat on in your farm, and you can eat on a crater (that I added) in the top floor of the Augusta cave.

So far these are the only new areas where you can lose/gain HP. I changed the descriptions of the items that can heal you so you’ll know what items they are when you see them.

-Watching something live so I finished and added two more plots. By the way, if you water the four new plots with a Shiny Sprayduck it won’t water some of the plots next to them, but it will water the plot on the opposite side to them. This is because I’m making them in the assumption that they’ll be next to each other and not just making the two lines longer some day.

Misc:

-You can now buy tea to sit down and drink at Ine’s restaurant. I should’ve done that in the first place since tea is kind of her specialty. (I’m not spelling that the way you probably want me to.) You can gain 25 HP just from drinking it.

-I reduced Tauros’ starting level from 10 to 7. It doesn’t matter if you already got Tauros at level 10. I just wanted there to be a stronger incentive to use the starters.

-Realized that I never actually make it so you can play the “Dating sim demo.” (I guess that’s what happens when I make a mini game while getting over side effects of a shot.) You can now.

-A while ago I was going to make it so if you miss somebody’s date after a certain point you’ll miss your chance at going to it and will lose 10 points with the person. (15 if they’re Alderic.) And then I completely forgot that I had this idea when I finally got to writing the dates. So I did that.

I didn’t make it avoidable for you to have another chance though. In fact, I made it fairly easy- as long as you’re not in the forest, beach, Pomona town, Duellona clearing, bar, restaurant, or your bedroom from 1 AM - 5 AM they won’t despawn from their date spot.

So if you’re fooling around outside of these spots or inside of your barn area (minus your bedroom) while somebody’s waiting on you and it reaches 1 AM, you can continue to fool around until 5 AM and still go on that date as long as you don’t touch those areas.
