watched the newest majo to yajuu episode, and honestly its been the best one since probably either the twin "witches" arc or since phanora and johan showed up, between angela (my beloved) showing up and this being one of my favorite parts of the manga. It's just a solid ep overall I think.

that being said, I do still have to say the manga clears the anime by a wide margin due to the anime's general issues (lackluster animation for the most part, along with a few subtle changes in translations and the difference between how I read scenes in the manga and how the ended up voiced) but despite that. It's just a good episode.

OH actually i do wanna talk about the angela scene tho. lord have mercy the angela and guideau scene honestly. id say for the most part. great. i hope more people start to understand guideau. and the fact that she's an unreliable narrator, but also WHY she's an unreliable narrator. Like angela fucked them up. In every way. But the audience sees time and time again that witches aren't inherently evil, re: helga, phanora, and the very next witch we meet which I won't say bc spoilers for anime only's. We don't even know why Angela did what she did, and there's a few theory's as to why, tho I'm not gonna get into them atm lmao

I know nobody cares but I have to get this out cause I just watched a movie called Jumper (a good idea for a movie, very mid-ish execution I'm afraid), one of the last movies left in my Tom Hulce filmography watchlist.

But almost half way through and he was nowhere to be found?? So I sat through the whole thing for 1h24m getting incresingly confused as time went by cause the more we go into the story the more unlikely it seemed he'd show up out of nowhere.

Then finally the credits roll and he is actually there in the credits??

Convinced that I have finally lost my sanity for good, I went back to watch from the very beginning again and behold... there he is.

i've not completely abandonned lestappen (i did just come up with wholeass fake dating au that included a lot of clothes sharing between max and charles including the infamous quali pants) but i did suffer some serious writers block at the end of may (which i dont think i really talked about??) which left me not wanting to write anything and i got super frustrated with it.

anyway i've now gotten back to a point where i actually want to write things again so for now i'm just indulging myself writing whatever silly little stories i want in the hopes i'll eventually get to a place where i can write the Serious Big Fics again (like. you know. the roommates au lmao)

but i'm really happy to hear that there's people who will read anything i write it makes me feel very ;-;
