Demon Slayer dedicating an entire arc to have half a dozen main characters collectively trying to defeat an Upper Rank Six demon in one of the most hype and epic fights of all time in anime then following that by having one monotone kid casually defeating an Upper Rank Five demon by himself in just one episode by casually slicing his head in underwhelming scene is sure a choice, isn’t it?

what's funny to me about Death Note is how casually the authors will drop the most insane lore you've ever heard and then just move on as if it never happened. like here's a girl whose parents were killed in front of her and who also would have been murdered by a crazed fan if he hadn't mysteriously dropped dead before her eyes. yes we WILL proceed to call her stupid and annoying for the rest of the series and never address how this affected her. btw did we ever mention that L is an orphan who has been working as a detective since he was 10? and that the orphanage where he grew up is now dedicated to raising child prodigies on the principle that their entire existence is worthless if they can't live up to L's standard? no? well he's dead now so here are his successors. yeah one of them joined the mafia at 17 and commits violent crimes because he believes it's the only way to prove that he's worth anything. yeah the other one had to take on the only case L couldn't solve entirely from scratch at age 13 with no prior detective experience. no the implications of this won't be addressed. also one of the new anti-Kira investigators has a vendetta against Kira because someone close to her was killed by him. will that ever be explored in canon, you ask? well you're not going to believe this-

In another (happier) world, I think Muhen would've been Akechi's Sojiro. Akechi would've lived above Jazz Jin just like how Joker lived above Leblanc. Muhen would've taught him how to make the drinks and close up at night. They would've bonded over music. And Akechi would finally have an adult looking after him. Because Muhen does care about him in-canon. He's the only character in the epilogue that mentions Akechi, he notices who Akechi spends time with, and he wishes to see him again.

It's so sad that Akechi assumes nobody cares about him or wants him around and yet this random jazz club owner does. Do you ever think about Muhen seeing Akechi at the Jazz Jin sometime in December, not knowing it would be the last time he ever would

another day of pokemon fans on twt having no reading comprehension: there's people who actually think that ogerpon straight up HATES kieran??? 😭 mostly seen people say this on twitter but... she doesn't??? dislike him??? At most she was scared when she first met him but it's because Ogerpon is scared of the villagers due to how she has been treated by them in the past... she didn't choose Kieran because she was closer with the MC it's not that deep 💔 If he had helped retrieve the masks like Carmine did maybe they would have become friends also this was drawn by Ogerpon's designer Hitoshi Ariga for Setsubun... they're so cute what the heck
