notes: this is the first time writing something and posting it in...forever. like i think years atp so pls be mindful of that while reading lol. but i am 100% open to any feedback or constructive critiscm as i want to improve my writing again!! anyways i hope you enjoy bc kate is the literal loml and this came to me in a dream.

you two would definitely start the day at a nice brunch place. brunch instead of breakfast because waking up a bit late when the sun is already shining through the windows sounds like a perfect, warm start to the day

anyways. you would go to her favourite brunch place and share a stack of pancakes with fruit, whipped cream and maple syrup. the ultimate pancake stack, as kate called it

the first thing you’d do in the morning is go on a bike ride through central park

even though cycling isn’t the sport kate’s the best at, she would definitely enjoy leisurely biking with you through the park and seeing the green trees and all the flowers in bloom

plus, she would be making horrible jokes the whole time to try impress you. “how do you know flowers are capable of kissing? they have tulips!” they were stupid, but her attempts made you grin, her rambly and silly nature was adorable 

ALSO when you guys were walking around you would beg her to go into every single photobooth and you eventually used those photos to make a cute scrapbook later on

moving on though, the next activity (and kate’s favourite) was larping ofc

you were a bit skeptical of it at first, as you stared at the costumes - it wasn’t really your thing, but kate insisted that it would be fun

she then went on a rant of which armour you should choose. “okay, so i think you should go with the one to the left of the one grills just took, because it’s a, very easy to put on and b, it is definitely the most comfortable. but, to be honest all of them are comfortable, but like, yeah, i’d say that’s the best.” and you knew then that whether larping was your thing or not, you’d enjoy doing it with her because - well, it was her. god, was she the best.

and it ended up being your thing nonetheless! for dinner, she took you to her mom’s penthouse (eleanor happened to be away on vacation) and made you the most delicious pasta. it was a chicken penne pasta that you both shared along with a slice of cake (that kate 100% did not make, because while she can cook she can not bake). 

and her bad jokes continued over dinner "i developed a pasta addiction. i spent my life savings on pasta, but it was worth every penne." that one you thought was actually great and it made you laugh. and when i say it made you laugh, i mean it made you laugh the most genuine laugh ever and kate was entranced. that girl is so in love with you, it’s actually crazyyy

but. you two ended the night snuggled up on the couch, asleep with a movie in the background and it was literally perfect. 

like picture this - the vague sounds of people talking in an old movie, the hum of the refrigerator, the sounds of you two breathing lightly, the pizza dog’s endearing snores and the sound of rain pattering against the large window glass

doesn’t that sound so amazing?? plus, the faint smell of vanilla cake accompanied with kate’s sandalwood perfume. 

anyways - you had the best day with kate and you can’t believe that this is the life you get to live. you feel like the luckiest person on planet earth. 

oh how i wish this was real. life is not fair kate bishop needs to be my gf. anyways again i hope you liked it and have a wonderful day <3

Maru loves cauliflower, so it would be a better gift than gold parsnips

Abigail stays at home during rainy days, and if it's on wednesday, you'll have to go to the mines (ugh) to get amethysts, and she dislikes all vegetables

Elliott... dunno where to start. it's pure luck, cos you can't talk to him when it's raining. I love fishing and I spend all my first week by the ocean. usually I reach lvl 3 in fishing on the third day of spring and buy crab pots on spring 4th. I usually have at least 9 crab pots by the seventh of spring and sometimes that's enough to catch lobsters in time. a lot of praying. it really helps to speak only to him in order to get a bulletin request.

Sebastian, loml, I get at least 8 good quality flounders in the first week, so no parsnip nessesary (but I do spend all my time by the ocean except when I run to talk to him). also if you tell him that you like reading comics in one of his dialogues you'll gain an additional 30 pts.

I guess you should still talk to Haley everyday and give her all the daffodils, since her loved gifts are kinda hard to get at the beginning but birthday helps like a lot

Haley, Abigail and Sam dislike parsnips. (and it will definitely rain, so Elliott will stay at home. this means parsnips will be good for everyone, except those four)

for me, it's easier to complete the introduction quest at the egg festival (talk to Pierre later) and before that I only met the bachelor(ette) for the bulletin requests also check saloon everyday for dish of the day and a travelling cart on friday and sunday

I'm sure there are easier ways to get it done, but this is what fits my gaming style (fishing, talking and no mining). treasure chests also provide a lot of useful items that make everything way easier

it was a bit of a pizza party last week but idk i’m just thinking about how taylor somehow got away with singing loml so close to the wedding day date, specifically because of the line “i thought i was better safe then starry eyed” because that line positions the speaker as the one with the starry eyes, making it quite easy to interpret as a lover-perspective song, connecting it to the likes of call it what you want and dorothea (both general kaylor canon). like… for her to sing it at those shows specifically… i mean, far be it from people to contextualize at a pizza party, but i just think,

Module 9 Assignment: Photographer’s Eye

Food. Food is my comfort. Food makes me forget Food brings happiness to my eyes the way someone were looking at the love of their life. Food can trigger emotions, holds memories, and can actually activate your brains reward system.

Nostalgia. Food has always helped my depressive episodes. One of my biggest comfort foods are tostones. Every chance I get to make tostones I do. The crunchy firm texture hitting my tongue brings me right back to me sitting in my abuela's house in Puerto Rico helping her in the kitchen smash the plantains down and fry them, my abuelo outside smoking a cigar, my little primos laughter fading in and out as they ran all over the "yard". The joy and carefree life I once lived.

Love. Food is my love language. If I am sad, please do not ask what can you do to fix. Simply doordash me some food and send me on my happy way. Tacos especially just connects with my dopamine system a little to well, one could say it causes the happy dance while eating. The tender al pastor meat with a sprinkle of the sour lime and the tangy cilantro and onions can turn any bad day to a good one.

Connection. Pizza is my escape. It connects me to both sides of my family. My mothers side being from Chicago and having the deep dish real sausage and peppers authentic marinara sauce. My grandfather on my moms side owned a pizzeria and you'd think I wouldve gotten tired of it. But now I crave more than ever. My fathers side is from NY the thin flaky authentic NY slice can never go wrong. The buttery crunchy crust is no match to me. Just call me the hungry hungry caterpillar.

Satisfaction. There is nothing like ordering chinese to your home, playing your favorite movie, and grabbing your blankey. The way this picture is calling my name on a friday night I can guarantee I have found my friday night plans. The sweetness of the sauce mixing with the golden juicy chicken is simply chefs kiss, so simple yet so satisfying. It brings me back to every winter when all I want to do is turn off all the lights, put on some pjs and cuddle with the loml. I yearn for this everyday.

The final course. What once was a delightful creamy very well put together cheesecake (pink for breast cancer awareness) is now just a memory of deliciousness. It reminds me of the casino as thats where it was ordered. But it also reminds me of creativity. How a simple cheesecake turned into a beautifully decorated inspired rose. Here is where I get a bit sad, as I know like everything else, this too has to come to an end.. I cannot go without dessert. Some call it big back while others call it.. The final course.

The phone vibrated in her purse, and Emma knew who it was. She knew she was flaking on plans with Rory because she was stupid, and he was nice and good to her.

She fished out her phone and picked it up with an extra burst of energy, “Hi!” She practically giggled into his ear.

“Where are you?”

“I’m with Liz at that speakeasy bar near Greenwich Village!” Emma exclaimed, “You should come!”

There was a small sigh. Rory was nice, but he wasn’t some saint. She could tell he was at least a little bit annoyed. “We were supposed to eat dinner tonight... for Valentine’s day?”

When she didn’t reply, he continued, “I waited for you... I just left.”

“I--” she began.

“I’m not mad... just disappointed.”

She didn’t have to be looking at him to know he was practically pouting and ruffling his hair.

“If you’re crashing at my place after, let me know. I can leave the door unlocked.”

She didn’t know what to say, so she just stood on the sidewalk in front of that bar with a room full of people she only sort of liked.

“I’m gonna go,” he sighed, “Just text me please. I get worried.”

“Wait, wait. I’m sorry,” Emma broke her silence, “I messed up -- I mess up all the time, and I’m scared.”

“I’m not scared of you. I’m scared of what you mean to me,” she clarified. She cleared her throat to try and keep the tears at bay. “I don’t understand why it’s so hard to let me love you. I love everybody so freely. It doesn’t make sense, and the more I try to just ignore it and love you, the more I want to run.”

“You’ve never told me that...”

“I want to be happy and fun while I’m with you. I don’t want to waste time being sad and scared, but I think I’ve reached my limit. I can’t do it anymore,” her voice cracked.

• Favorite smell - Rose, sandalwood and clary sage--- one of the most relaxing mix of smells for me, tbh. 

• First Job - Customer service staff at Publix (a southern grocery chain)! Still working there while I’m in nursing school, as well as a SNAP (student nurse apprentice) at the local hospital PRN!

• Favorite pizza - It’s not like a specific type, but I prefer parmesan and asiago over mozzarella on my pizza...w/ pepperoni, peppers, banana peppers, and onions rip.me

• Tattoos - One, on my ankle that the loml drew up for me. It’s a half moon w/ stars making up the cancer constellation, with a little bow dangling and with a rose up top (they’re my favorite). 

• Like to cook -  I do, but I’m still learning! The easiest way for me to eat clean is if I cook my own food (I have a v sensitive stomach with lots of food allergies). I prefer to bake!

• Beer or wine or neither - Wiiiiiiine, even though it makes me sleepy. I’m also a mixed-drink kinda gal. 

• Can you drive a manual transmissions - Yep!

• Favorite color - Pink/Sea foam green. 

• Do you like vegetables - Yes!

• Do you wear glasses - I dooo, and I have since I was about 3 or 4.
