So was no one going to tell me that by drinking dark energon bots aren't able to enter cybertronian heaven thus meaning that when Optimus died in TFP, he finally went somewhere Megatron couldn't follow. Or was I just supposed to find that all on my own?

I don’t know whether you have been asked this or not but how far do you plan for this AU to reach spanning the war? Like till the fall of cybertron or when the war was taken to Earth? Or if there even is a war?

I am also curious how would your version of Optimus think of humans? Honestly I feel like if Steelton ever did make it out of the pits of Kaon I feel like he’d behave similarly to a cat when he interacts with humans, like he would care but have a strange way of showing it but he’d be very standoffish and pretend not to care.

Optimus would think humans are silly and fragile creatures (which isn't a lie in a way) and would actually enjoy their company.
