Speaking of times we were angry at our favs, I think the only time I was truly angry at Kaito was when he hit Miu
Bc every other time he does something wrong either a) he's STILL handling it better than I would've at his age b) he apologizes immediately or c) all of the above
Or it's the Harmony route where he had his grief over losing the only thing in his entire life that mattered twisted against him and used to manipulate him and like I cant hold that against him he's just a baby
But like
Kaito your sister is SO small you can't just do that
I know what she was saying was outta pocket but SO WAS WHAT YOU WERE SAYING AND SHE DIDN'T SLAP YOU FOR IT
YOU WERE NOT DISPROVING THE POINT WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING ToT
I know you regretted instantly and you're sorry but MY GOD
Not to quote a sitcom but like
BE SORRY ABOUT THIS STUFF BEFORE YOU DO IT, THEN DON'T DO IT KDJDKFMFM

Song: Love Like You by Rebecca Sugar
Description: Two years after Danganronpa Season 53, Kokichi is still wondering why Shuichi decided to date him.
Two years since the last season of Danganronpa. Two years since they have all been released from the hospital. Two years since Shuichi confessed his love to the tiny supreme leader. A year since he moved into a house with his Beloved.
Then, why?
Why was he feeling so sad?
Kokichi was snuggled up on the couch, a blanket around him, “I’m Kokichi Oma, the...ultimate...supreme...leader. Supreme leaders don’t cry!”
Then, the memory came crashing down. “Supreme leader? That’s funny,” Kokichi tries to laugh off the pain, but tears flow down.
“Ugh, can’t this hurry up!” Kokichi whined at a nurse.
“I can’t keep my subordinates waiting!”
“About that…” The nurse avoided his eye contact, “DICE was a made up organization. Tsumugi wanted to make you have a more interesting backstory. I’m sorry.”
“T-that’s...a l-lie right?”
The nurse didn’t reply, giving all the answers needed to Kokichi to know the nurse was telling the truth.
CREEK!
He rushed over to the front door, throwing the blanket aside. “It’s 9 PM? Had Shuichi come home early from work! Please...I don’t want to be alone right now…”
He swings the door opened only to see nothing but bills upon bills. Kokichi snatches them up before going back inside the house, he throws the bills on the ground before stumbling back onto the couch.
I always thought I might be bad.
“Why?” Kokichi pulls on his purple hair, “why did he choose me? There are way better people than me? Why did Shuichi date me?”
Kaede is an obviously amazing choice. She is kind, beautiful, confident, smart, everything Kokichi isn’t. Everything he wishes to be.
“Even after all I did. After all I said. How I caused three people to die,” Kokichi shudders, “why not Kaede? Why not Rantaro? Hell, even dumbass Kaito has a better chance than me!”
Now I’m sure that it’s true.
“Miu...Gonta...Kaito…” He whispers, thinking about what he did.
He shouldn’t have manipulated Gonta. He should have just accepted his fate. Why did he want to use Gonta? Gonta may have only wanted to be a “true gentleman” but he was still kind to Kokichi.
“I’m horrible,” Kokichi bites his nails, “I used Gonta’s kindness for myself. I’m so selfish…”
Miu. He chuckles, remembering the bickering between the two. The horny comments she made, which made him make fun of her. The names they called each other. Then, he remembers the toilet paper. How he turned the tables on her, how he got Gonta to kill her.
Kokichi winces, “Miu just wanted to survive like me. So, why didn’t I help everyone like that. Nobody liked me, anyways. What a loss would it have been?”
His thoughts drifted over to Kaito. He remembers the talk between the two of them in the hanger. Kokichi doubts Kaito believed him, but he still made Kokichi’s plan happen.
Even though it failed.
Even though it cost Kaito, his life.
“Failed…failure,” Kokichi mutters, guilt appearing on his shoulders.
He recounts Shuichi telling him what happened. How the trial happened, what everyone said afterwards...Kaito’s execution. Kokichi has wanted to talk to him again, to try and save whatever kind of relationship they had. But his fear stops him. What would Kaito say? What about Maki?
Kaito was always an idiot. He trusts others way too easily. He was too obvious to miss assassin crush. He had friends.
‘Cause I think you're so good. And I’m nothing like you.
Shuichi Saihara…the kind-hearted detective. More braver than Kokichi will ever be. Confronting the truth head on unlike himself who crawls and hides like a maggot under lies. Much smarter for figuring out the class trials. Forgiving everyone despite what they have done in the game with no questions asked.
“Why did he date me?” Kokichi asks again. “I’m nothing but trash…”
Look at you go. I just adore you.
Everyone has been moving on. Rantaro is spending time with his sisters, Kirumi is starting a maid company, Kaito and Maki are married, and Kaede is working as a pianist. Shuichi is a detective, barely at home, but as long as he is happy, Kokichi is fine.
But, Kokichi sits at home. He can’t face the world, not the world who watched him get crushed. He just sits at home, basically freeloading off of Shuichi. Sure, he does all of the housework, but it’s not enough.
Despite it all, he wants to have Shuichi. He wants to call Shuichi, his boyfriend. Kokichi sobs into his hands, “why do I keep falling for those lies? How could he ever love me? How could he think I’m good enough to stand with him?”
“H-he should...be with someone better...s-someone who is good enough. J-j-just leave…leave me.”
I wish that I knew. What makes you think I’m so special.
“Awww, what makes you say that…”
Kokichi hears the familiar soft spoken voice behind him, arms wrapped around his frail body. “I’m trying to be honest…”
“Honestly? That’s new,” Shuichi giggles, “s-sorry! That was rude of me…”
“...”
Shuichi lets his hands wander to Kokichi’s waist, pressing his body against Kokichi. But Kokichi refuses to accept the warm feeling coming into his heart. He tries to shove Shuichi off, but due to him crying, it was weak.
“Shuichi, I’m sorry for-” Shuichi kisses Kokichi’s cheek, “you don’t have to be sorry for anything, my Kichi.”
He continues to kiss all over Kokichi’s face, “I love you...I love you, Kichi. I love you so much…”
Shuichi decides to hop onto the couch and begins to cuddle his boyfriend. “Kokichi, I will always adore you, and nothing can change that. It’s the truth.”
Then, he kisses Kokichi. It was gentle, making Kokichi feel Shuichi’s overwhelming love. “Of course, how could I forget? I love him and he loves me. He would never leave…”
“Your eyes are really red...sorry for taking so long. I’m lucky Kyoko was there to cover my shift…” He laughed, sounding like music to Kokichi’s ears.
“Let’s watch Kiki’s Delivery Service …” Kokichi suggests, feeling groggy from crying so much.
“Sounds perfect!” Shuichi gets up, making Kokichi groan from losing his touch, and turns on the TV. They return to their original positions, Shuichi giving Kokichi small kisses and whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
“I’m really happy we’re together, Shumai...” Kokichi snuggles even closer to Shuichi.
Shuichi kisses the back of Kokichi’s hand, “I love you, Kichi.”
Whoops! This is a day late, but it’s for Prompt #3 - Postgame by @saiouma-events. I had a pregame one-shot planned but I ended up hating it, and wrote a new one. Sending you lovelies good luck! - December

can you write something where some jerk is mean to gonta and literally everyone is like-“do you require death?@
I loved this so much. That I might have gone overboard for this- I also tried to incorporate as many of them as possible, but wasn’t able to add 3 of them.. and also miu didn’t talk much in this sadly enough because I don’t like swearing 😅. But, I hope this suffices!!
(FORGIVE ME BABEY BOI!!!!!!!! IM SORRY I MADE THAT JERK BE SO MEAN!!!!)
Tumblr media
~Mod Ibuki!!
~it was a normal day for gonta for the most part.
~ he spent most of his time taking care of his bug friends and going out looking for more.
~He had recently caught a REALLY pretty butterfly, and gonta knew that since it was one of the insects that most people liked he wanted to show it to his friends!!
~(mainly Kaede, Kokichi, Shuichi, Kirumi, and Kiibo)
~It was about 5pm when he went to go find them to show them his new insect friend.
~He found most of his class in the dorm lounge area, with the exception of Korekiyo, Tsumugi, and Angie.
~He quickly approached Kaede, and Shuichi.
~”Shuichi~kun! Kaede~San!!!” He called
~Kaede turned around and smiled
~”Oh.! Hey, Gonta..” Shuichi greeted, giving him a small wave and smile.
~”Whats that insect you’re holding?” Kaede asked, having noticed the insect Gonta had perched gently on his pointer finger.
~”Ah! Yes! This is a butterfly that Gonta found out in the gardens! And gonta thought it was very pretty, so he wanted to show it to you!” He smiled brightly as he spoke
~Kaede just smiled and listened, intrigued at the gentle giants knowledge of bugs.
~Shuichi, was genuinely curious and looking at the bug with great interest.
~Kokichi walked over and smirked, about to comment on bug until;
~”...Geez. You actually like bugs.? You’re disgusting.”
~Some random guy was leaning against the doorframe to the room staring Gonta down.
~“And I thought someone as buff as you would use your time wisely.” He spit, glaring the gentle giant down
~“B-But.. Gonta does use his time wisely.! He helps his friends.!” Gonta protested,
~The room fell silent, Maki had stopped glaring at kokichi and had directed her glare towards this jerk instead,
~Tenko has stopped her rant about males to himiko and turned around to look at the random male in frustration and shock.
~She hated almost every single walking, living, breathing male on this earth. But, Gonta was her only exception. He was the only male she wouldn’t call a degenerate constantly.
~Kaito and Ryoma were just silently wishing death apon this absolute jerk,
~And Rantaro, Kaede, Shuichi, and Kirumi were silently staring at the male, shocked and confused.
~Even Kokichi had changed his mind on commenting on the bug, and also had gone dead silent.
~“Excuse me?” Kirumi was the first one to speak up through the tense silence.
~“We do not know who you are, and frankly, I do not care. But, I think we’d all appreciate it if you would leave.” Her politeness was there, but it was strained, everyone but the jerk could tell.
~“I agree with that. You should leave. Now.” Rantaro pipped up
~Kiibo kept glancing back and forth at Gonta and the rude man in the doorway
~“Dude. I’m just stating facts. He’s a buff man who likes to play around with the “little butterflies” and creepy crawlies. That’s not only very childish, but also disgusting.”
~himiko muttered “Jerk.” under her breath but only tenko could hear her, and she turned to Himiko and nodded in agreement.
~Kaito and maki looked equally angered now. Although they didn’t talk with gonta as much. He was one of the sweetest classmates they had and Gonta looked about ready to cry about now!!!
~“G-Gonta isn’t childish....” The poor gentle giant stuttered out, obviously saddened by this rude stranger’s comment.
~“OI!!! How dare you make him cry!!!” Miu yelled out, angered at this man’s behavior
~“Yeah!! Dude!!! What is wrong with you!!!!” Kaito yelled, getting up from his seat and walking over to the stranger,
~Kaede quickly hugged Gonta in an attempt to comfort him, as she let the others deal with that jerk.
~“No, don’t worry gonta you aren’t childish, or disgusting... you are amazing..” she whispered to him, hugging him a bit tighter.
~Shuichi gave Gonta a nervous glance and grabbed his large hand and gave him a gentle smile.
~Kokichi was still silently staring the stranger down.
~It was kinda scary-
~“Do you want to die?” Maki said in a low voice as she glared daggers at the jerk. Those words could probably be Maki’s catch phrase from how much she says it.
~The stranger put his hands up to mock surrender,
~“Oh no, no, no! I’m just here to state facts, hun.” He claimed.
~“If you call me that one more time, no one will ever find your body.” Maki threatened.
~A couple tears fell down Gontas face
~“Jeez...you’re really that weak? Can’t handle the truth so much that you cry?? ..you’re not even a real man.”
~Even Miu was quiet at that statement, everyone was silent in shock.
~Well, they were...
~Until, Gonta broke out into full on sobs,
~and this just angered EVERYONE.
~“You need to leave NOW.” Kirumi said, a bit louder than usual, with her normal politeness long gone.
~“Right. now.” Ryoma finally pipped up, giving Gonta a concerned glance.
~Kaede hugged gonta tighter, shushing him gently and carefully pulling him towards the farback of the lounge area, where it’s quieter and less people are.
~Shuichi followed along with the two, gently gripping Gonta’s hand, and doing his best to help reassure him as well,
~Kokichi moved past the stranger and walked off, quietly,
~Kiibo kept looking over at Gonta, but, knew not approach as to not overwhelm him anymore
~“Get out of here before I beat you to a pulp.” Maki said standing from her seat and walking up to him.
~Although. Her and Kaito were both equally as angry.
~“Geez. No reason to get violent. I’ll leave.”
~“Good.” Kaito said, obviously about to go through with what Maki and him were thinking.
~“And don’t bother Gonta or us ever again.” Maki spoke, with pure hatred in her eyes and tone.
~Gonta sobs could still be heard as the jerk turned around and quickly left.
~Kaede was still doing her best to comfort the poor boy who was crying his heart out,
~He wasn’t used to people being so, so, so mean to him,
~Shuichi was rubbing small circles in his back and sitting next to Gonta, while Kaede was hugging him.
~Gonta was curled up in a smaller ball on the floor, making it easier to comfort him.
~Kiibo got up, and asked Kirumi to help him get Gonta some water and something else to comfort their favorite pure boy.
~She silently nodded and led the two of them to the kitchen and to get such comfort item.
~Ryoma and Rantaro left the room to go report that guy to the school.
~And Tenko, Miu, and Maki? Well, they went to...make sure someone knows not to mess with gonta again.
~Kirumi and Kiibo soon came back with a cup of water and a butterfly plushy
~Gonta has stopped crying by now, and Kaito was sitting off to the side, he looked like he was guarding them,
~Kirumi carefully handed Gonta the glass of water, making sure he didn’t drop it.
~“Th-thank you, Kirumi~San..”
~“It is no problem, Gokuhara~kun.. are you feeling at least..a tiny bit better now.?”
~Gonta carefully took a sip from the glass
~“Gonta is doing better now...He is very thankful for his friends helping him..”
~Kaede gave him a sympathetic smile
~“Of course, Gonta! We’re your friends, so of course we’d help you.!” She said, having pulled away from the hug about a minute ago.
~“Hey guys? Where did Kokichi go off to? I know where Tenko, Rantaro, Ryoma, Miu, and Maki-roll went, but not Kokichi?” Kaito spoke up, and glanced around the room, his eyes searching for the smaller purple haired boy.
~Kirumi looked up and around the now way emptier classroom, it was only the six of them left in there now.
~“I’m afraid I do not know.” She commented as she looked back at Kaito.
~“And as much as I hate to speak even slightly ill of someone, it might be for the better, his antics would not help with Gokuhara’s situation.” She said, glancing at the doorway.
~“I saw him leave a while back. He was very quiet, it was almost worrying.” Kiibo pipped up
~“I noticed that as well,” Shuichi commented, “He looked about ready to hurt that guy just as badly as Kaito and Maki were.. He just didn’t say anything.”
~Gonta put his now empty cup on the nearest table, and breathed out a bit. He was a lot calmer now, and everyone, including himself, were relieved because of that.
~Gonta moves the plushy in his lap, sitting it right side up,
~“Thank you Kiibo~kun.. Gonta really likes the stuffed animal of Mr. insects.!” Gonta smiled a bit when he spoke which, made his friends happy that he was feeling much better.
~Kiibo just smiled back,
~They all stayed there talking a bit, making a pillow and blanket fort, watching some Disney movies, and just making sure gonta was completely okay until it was quite late.
~The next day that rude guy had his homework burned, he was found beat to a pulp in the parking lot, was being constantly and heavily pranked, and he was given a 2 day suspension.
~And that sent a message to everyone who learned what he had done.
~ Do not EVER insult Gonta Gokuhara.

“The v3 boys being forgiven by their S/O after cheating on them?”
Shuichi Saihara:
He’s not the best at reading people’s flirtatious moments, so when he’s talking to Kaede and she’s making comments, he thinks that she’s just being friendly with him.
She made more moves on him, and this lead to a makeout session between the duo.
Kokichi was the one who saw this. He went to tell you immediately, hiding it with a “but maybe that’s a lie!”
You ask him to lead you to the two, and his statement turned out to be correct.
Both of them seemed to like it, and they were getting really into it.
Kaede pulled away, looking lovingly at Shuichi as Shuichi breaks contact with her, looking at the door.
Kokichi was giving him a bland glare, and you were balling your fists up.
“So that’s why you’ve spent more time with Kaede. I see. I’m not enough for you now?” You spit out at the pair, your hands now shaking with anger as your nails dig into your palms.
Shuichi didn’t know what he could do to redeem himself, and Kaede pulled away from him so that nothing else happened.
She looks down at the ground, regretting the move.
“I’m sorry, s/o. I don’t know what got into me.” Kaede apologised on behalf of both of them.
“It’s okay. I won’t forget it, though.” You begin, looking over at Shuichi. “Good luck with your relationship with Kaede.” You whispered out, turning away and leaving him in the dust.
Kaito Momota:
You caught him sleeping with Maki, and he happened to keep the door unlocked because he was aware you were out with friends.
When you opened the door, he didn’t know you were there, still having his arm around Maki.
The only reason he found out about you being there was because Maki nudged him, looking in your direction.
You were shaking, but your legs wouldn’t do the honours of running in the other direction to get away.
You didn’t feel completely comfortable with the idea of sex, and Kaito chose someone else that you trusted to never make a move on him.
All of you didn’t move.
You couldn’t help but tear up at the realisation that Kaito wasn’t getting what he wanted out of the relationship, and you leave, not in the mood for any words.
--
A week later, you thought that the relationship was over.
Maki walks up to you, and you didn’t know what to expect other than some guiltless apology about what happened.
What you didn’t expect her do to was to grab your hand, looking you in the eye.
“I…I shouldn’t have gone for Kaito.” Maki started. “He was happy with you, and I went and ruined it.” She continued.
You try to shake her off to no avail.
“Please.” Maki pleaded. “Resolve the situation with Kaito. He regrets it.”
“Well, he should tell me, but obviously I’m the one who did wrong by not giving myself to him.” You whispered out, knowing that you were about to burst into tears.
“No.” Kaito piped up. You didn’t realise that he was looking for you. “You’re the innocent one, if anything.”
Maki still had you in her grasp, so you couldn’t run away.
You collapsed to the floor, letting out all of your tears.
“I know I ruined your trust, but I promise I won’t do anything else to this relationship.” Kaito kneeled, rubbing your back.
You couldn’t help but pull him in. You missed his touch so much, and being able to hold him in this way calmed you down.
Rantaro Amami:
Kaede was playing the piano for him, and he joined in, playing along with her.
They touched hands a couple of times, before sharing a kiss.
You saw the entire thing. Originally, you were enjoying the duet they were performing, but after you saw what just happened, you turn and begin to walk away.
Rantaro knew that you needed some time to yourself, so he stayed with Kaede, apologising for allowing that to happen.
--
The next morning at breakfast, he knocks on your door.
“Can we talk about yesterday?” He softly cooed into the door, after no response.
You open the door, eyes red and your face screamed of pain.
“I wanted to apologise for last night. I went too far, and I shouldn’t have done that.” He went on with his conversation, lightly grasping your shoulders.
“It’s fine.” You put out into the room, pulling yourself into his loving arms.
Kokichi Ouma:
He was flirting with everyone but you, and you were getting suspicious about his activities.
So, you decide to follow him, making sure that he would never spot you.
You didn’t expect to see him with Shuichi’s arm around his. The loving look they gave each other. Everything about your findings broke your heart.
Kokichi didn’t know you saw any of this until the next day, when you became cold-hearted towards him.
No matter that he did to get your attention, nothing worked.
You wouldn’t play into his hands like you have been doing.
“Aww, is s/o mad at me?” Kokichi pouted, grabbing your arm and wrapping himself around you.
Your eye twitched. You couldn’t hold back anything now.
“Yes.” You bluntly push him away, turning to show your face. “I am.”
“Any why is that?” Kokichi sneered, looking at you as if you told a joke.
“Ask Shuichi what he was doing last night.” You finish, standing up.
Kokichi stopped talking, looking to his feet. What could he say to that?
“I know that you’re trying to lie out of this as your coping mechanism, but I’m not going to stay with you.” You continue. “I forgive you, but I don’t think you like me in that way anymore.”
“Goodbye, Kokichi.”
Ryoma Hoshi:
I don’t think he would even THINK about cheating, this one.
Even if you thought he cheated on you, he would handle the situation logically, immediately explaining himself.
He would chase after you if you ran away before hearing him out, only stopping if you stopped.
Gonta Gokuhara:
I cannot see him doing anything like cheating.
He’s faithful, and he’s not stupid enough to think that it’s okay to give loving affection to other people that aren’t close enough to him for that establishment.
Once he’s in a relationship, he’s probably spending more time with you than anyone else combined.
Keebo:
Miu was jealous of how close you were to Keebo – he didn’t get as nervous around you, and she was insecure that you were the first person to make him feel more comfortable about PDA.
So, when she’s giving Keebo a check-up, knowing you’re around the corner because she invited you around, she made her move.
She rubs his thigh, and he’s extremely flustered. She told Keebo that this was part of his examination, and she continues her examination of Keebo, making him feel more at ease while she does so.
You walk into the room, and Keebo’s the one to invite you in, laying on the table as he’s find with Miu touching him.
He didn’t know what face you were pulling, but you couldn’t help but feel betrayed by Miu.
“Have fun, Miu. He’s single.” You stated, leaving the room.
Oh…this isn’t normal for someone else to do.
Miu smirked to herself as Keebo dashed out of the room in an effort to catch up with you.
“S/o wait!” Keebo exclaimed. “I can explain!”
You stopped sprinting, but it wasn’t because of him.
You went to the first girl you found to talk to them about what you walked into, and it happened to be Tenko.
Oh god no.
He sprinted at this point, grabbing you by the shoulder more sternly than he intended.
“Please let me talk.” Keebo wanted to say that he wasn’t doing it out of love for Miu.
“Go for it.” Tenko said on your behalf, preparing herself to attack in case Keebo did anything dodgy to you.
“Miu wanted to test functions on my body, and she told me that touching my sensitive spots were vital for checking my circuits. I didn’t get any pleasure out of it, other than my sensitivity to any touch.” Keebo let out, worried that Tenko was going to analyse one sentence as something that was too far.
Tenko didn’t hit him. Instead, she turns to you and tells you to trust your emotions, noticing how conflicted you were.
You made up with him, and he had a stern talk with Miu about the situation.
Korekiyo Shinguuji:
You walk in on him making moves on a flustered Shuichi.
Shuichi wasn’t interested, but Korekiyo wanted to test his limits as a human being.
Unfortunately, Shuichi begins to walk towards the door when he’s close to becoming more overwhelmed by the situation, only to realise you were there, glaring daggers at both of them.
Korekiyo didn’t realise this, and he does his signature laugh, pulling in Shuichi.
“S-seriously, stop it.” Shuichi spluttered out, pointing at you.
Korekiyo looks in the direction of his finger, only to realise you were there.
He promptly lets go of Shuichi, before staring at you in horror.
“Allow me to elaborate on my actions, please.” Korekiyo lets out, walking towards you and letting you into the room.
You have a civil chat with him about the situation, and he eventually convinces you to stay with him under certain circumstances – he isn’t allowed to do anything like that with anyone else, for example.

Yuletide 2018 Letter
Dear creator,
Thank you for taking your time to check my requests. I know my requests can sound a bit tricky, but please don’t be discouraged. I wish you will have good time writing first and foremost!
I like humor and tropes, which is probably the only thing you really need to know about my general likes.
I’m very picky about sex tropes, so generally I would be grateful for no graphic sex (unless specified otherwise). Also, if you go for a shippy fic, I don’t want any stuff happening without consent. I like consent a lot. Other dislikes include ABO, mpreg, soulmates, and situations where stuff is happening because destiny said so and nobody questions it.
Also, I included what ships I’m okay with in each fandom. Please do not include any ships that aren’t canon or I have not mentioned in those sections (unless I give specifically give you a free hand in this regard).
REQUESTS
PLANET WITH (ANIME)
Kuroi Souya
I loved Planet With and it’s protagonist journey. Seeing Souya outgrow the hatred that initially propelled him into fighting legit made me teary eyed.
Also, sometimes family is a humanoid cat, a space princess and an angry child craving meat.
I really loved the message of this series about love and forgivness. And the mecha action that came with it, though if you want to skip on mechas in favour of character interactions  I will be all for it.
I nominated Souya, because I love my angry child, but if you would prefer to focus on any other character I won’t mind. Mizukami has talent in making all his characters interesting and worth exploring, so if you would rather write the story from the perspective of Sensei or Ginko, or literally anybody else I won’t mind. Hell, you could write from the perspective of the Dragon and I would love the story to bits.
I don’t mind when chronologically the story happens. Whether it will be somewhere during the whole fight with Paladins, or college shenanigans (I would love to hear more on Souya’s suffering with his evil senpais), or post-canon with the characters continuing on with their lives now that they had made sure that the Dragon had been dealt with.
Additional info
I would be okay with AUs, though I feel like the series world deserves to be explored more than it was. Then again, if you want to skip the world saving shenanigans for something else, I won’t mind. I just don’t have much pointers on what it could potentially be.
I love Souya/Nozomi. Also Harumi and Miu are a lesbian couple and you can’t convience me otherwise. Other than those I don’t have any pairing preferences and you are free to do as you please with other characters in this regard.
少女☆歌劇 レヴュー・スタァライト | SHOUJO KAGEKI REVUE STARLIGHT (ANIME)
Aijou Karen
I loved Revue Starlight since I saw the first episode and I have no words just how pumped I was for the new episode each week. It was like Utena just with theater girls and with much more positive atmosphere.
I’m only requesting Karen, though I am also okay with story centring more on other girls, since they are all interesting in their own right.
For Karen I would love to see more of her trying to bridge the gap between her and Hikari. Maybe they read more plays or books that had been adapted into theatrical performances together? Or have dates on the city. If you feel like throwing Mahiru into the mix I’m all for it, just don’t make her too jealous. I really liked how the three of them got along in the latter part of the show, so I don’t want Mahiru to be defined purely by the initial jealous she felt when Hikari appeared.
I also loved Banana and Juuna. I would be up for seeing more of their relationship, whether it be being Banana half-heartedly helping Juuna with her research into talking giraffees or Juuna trying to find more quotes for cheering Daiba up.
If timeloops are your jam I would love some insight into Daiba’s repeated performances of Starlight and maybe seeing if she tried to make some little changes. I would love to see her struggle in trying to make some changes that would help to emulate the experience, but at the same time still wanting to experience the same Starlight she did.
Also, I love theater, so feel free to put as much of that aspect into your story as you like. You literally can’t overdo it.
Additional info
I would be pretty okay with the AUs, though I would lean more towards Canon Divergence here, since the theater school setting is a huge draw for me. It’s okay if you want to go either into a more comedic territor or closer to the darker tone of Utena (that seems to be heavy inspiration for this show). I’m fine with both. I feel like roleswap would work really great for this story. As I mentioned the story is so heavily tied to theater that I don’t really want a story that strays too far from it. I wouldn’t mind a non-supernatural theater school setting (even more supernatural one is fine too) or one when the characters are adults and doing theater as professionals. Just make sure the theater is there somewhere.
As for the ships. I’m definitely up for all the heavily implied ships of this show. For clarification, I’m okay with both Karen/Hikari and making that pairing a threesome with Mahiru.
幼女戦記 | YOUJO SENKI | SAGA OF TANYA THE EVIL (ANIME)
Tanya von Degurechaff
I loved that this entire anime is just a very petty salaryman trying to show a middle finger to god-like entity and failing miserably. Tanya is a delightful character and I would love to see more of her shenanigans.
Whether you decide to show more of Being X being an asshole to Tanya in bigger or smaller aspects of her life (what if he causes a small miracle when she is forced to act particualrly devout for the sake of appearances), or Tanya’s struggle as a cog in the giant machine of war I would be very much up to.
I don’t know that much about first WW realia, so you don’t have to try too much in that aspect. My main draw for this series was Tanya’s constant struggle to make life better for herself, but digging herself deeper with each achievement instead.
I also love the strange relationship she has with Serebryakov, where they both just get used to each other with time. If you want to include her, I would really enjoy seeing Tanya being slightly more open to Serebryakov. She obviously wouldn’t tell her anything important, but I would love seeing Tanya put down the mask of perfect soldier for just a short while.
Additional info
This series is so heavily rooted in its setting I have no idea how you could spin this story differently, but if you have some interesting idea I don’t mind if you go for it.
I don’t have any ships for this series.
I REINCARNATED INTO AN OTOME GAME AS A VILLAINESS WITH ONLY DESTRUCTION FLAGS (LIGHT NOVEL & MANGA)
Gerald Stuart, Katarina Claes
I ran into this manga on accident, but I definitely don’t regret it. I love how Katarina ends up solving all the problems in this series either through her efforts or by sheer accident and how she ends up becoming the actual protagonist. This charmingly comedic story has a lot of heart and I crave more.
I think I like Gerald the most out of all potential suitors for Katarina’s heart and would love to see more of his crush on Katarina and unsuccessful attempts at actually wooing her. We only see him through Katarina’s perspective, who can’t separate him from the Gerard she knows from the game, even though he changed under her influence. I would definitely be up for a story where Katarina starts to notice that maybe her idea of Gerard doesn’t exactly line up with the reality. Or maybe she remains blessfully ignorant and decides to go in-depth investigation into finding more of Gerard’s weaknesses, because she saw him do something nice for Maria and now she is sure the end is near for her and she wants to be extra prepared.
I don’t mind including any other characters, since they are a colorful bunch. I read this manga for harem shenanigans, and you are free to include as much of it as you want.
Additional info
I’m okay with AUs and canon divergences. The story is already a huge canon divergence after all, so if you want to twist it even more, that’s fine by me.
I only read what had been translated of manga and haven’t checked LN.
I’m okay with all canonical crushes being acknowledged, however due the nature of my request if you do want to go for an endgame ship I would want it to be Katarina/Gerald. I don’t mind other characters being shipped with each other, if you want.

Ohh, 6, 9, 11, 19 and 25. For all the games, but if it's too hard to pick, you can have one by game :p
Thank you, Serahne!!! ^ v ^
From here: https://kimmysfandomblog.tumblr.com/post/170470327942/lafumiko-hi-people-i-was-searching-for-a-good
Spoilers for V3, so these are under the cut!
6. Favorite plot twist?
DR1: Gosh, it’s a tie between Sayaka being the one killed and even planning to kill to escape the game and Naegi escaping execution!!! Bot of them realy threw me for a loop! I will say that discovering Sayaka was murdered left the greater impact, though, and was the reason I stuck to Danganronpa early on. It blew my mind at the time!
DR2: Hajime being Izuru/the “mastermind” was the most shocking thing to me! I really wasn’t expecting that??? I really came to love Hajime a lot by this point, and was feeling incredibly sorry for him already. When we were exploring the school for the last trial’s investigation and the Hope Cultivation Plan came up, I kinda figured it out. I don’t think I connected the dots completely though, ahaha. Also, just the fact that all of them were evil and responsible for spreading Despair worldwide was such a great plot twist, in my opinion!
DRAE: There weren’t many plot twists in this game, but I guess the most shocking was that Monaca was not an invalid. Like, she was pretty obviously the one running the show, and she was obsessed with Junko, but her faking being handicapped to control both her family and friends for sympathy and to get what she wanted was a genius plan on her part!
V3: I honestly didn’t like them all that much, especially Kaede not being the protag. The ending one where Tsumugi reveals everything is a lie (literally) wasn’t bad or good in my opinion. Like, I wasn’t necessarily disappointed by the ending like I thought I would be (that one was spoiled even before the game released in Japan because I couldn’t blacklist on PC and thought going through Hajime’s tag would be okay :( Damn you, dataminers!!!), I kinda just accepted that this was it. Also the trio being alive was not an exciting plot twist in the least (I love you Himiko and Maki, but your survival kinda makes me go ehhh with how the game ended). I guess that only leaves Kaito being ill and dying before his execution killed him as my favorite! I really liked how that last execution (not counting Danganronpa’s execution) was the reverse of the very first execution we see (Jin Kirigiri’s), and I already loved Kaito. It was nice that Kaito’s final goodbye was a middle finger to Danganronpa’s theme of killing the blackened with an over-the-top execution!
9. Favorite Ultimate Talent?
These are all very tough decisions…
DR1: Ultimate Biker Gang Leader! I honestly would never expect such a talent to exist, and I gotta wonder how HPA was able to gather data for that talent, hahaha. It helps that I found Mondo endearing even if he swears a bit and reacts with violence. He hast a golden heart full of regrets, and I liked his backstory! Also the talent itself is just… really cool.
DR2: Ok, so this is kinda weird, but Ultimate Lucky Student. Makoto was a totally different kind of Ultimate Lucky Student than Komaeda’s, where all-in-all he is an average guy and his luck only affects him sometimes. While that is an interesting talent, it’s not as interesting as Komaeda’s. Komaeda is probably the truest definition of Ultimate Luckster! His luck is tragic. It takes away any personal relationships and turns it into materialistic fortune. It is so powerful it warped Komaeda and his view of the world drastically. Gosh, it is very interesting and gets me wondering what could possibly happen around Komaeda because of his luck in different situations and with different people. Truly, a fascinating talent that I wouldn’t bestow on anyone!
DRAE: There were only a few people with an Ultimate Talent here, haha. I liked that Kotoko was the Ultimate Li’l Drama who actually will not perform for anyone (understandably) and the Fighter of the Group! If that counts, haha. Otherwise we only have Byakuya, Fukawa/Syo, Makoto, and Komaeda (and technically Izuru but he is on the screen for, like, 5 seconds and has every talent, so that would be boring anyways). If I had to choose between the four talents without Komaeda repeated, I think the most interesting would be Syo’s Ultimate Murderous Fiend! It’s really interesting to me that she’s a split personality of Toko. I kinda have to wonder how Toko can get exhausted easily, but Syo can slash and dash, even hurling herself several feet in the air, without breaking a sweat!
V3: It is a tie between Ultimate Anthropolgist and Ultimate Mage Magician! Unlike with the previous installments of the series, I was able to just see the talents before knowing the characters, though, so Ultimate Magician was the one that really caught my eye since I’m obsessed with Fantasy AUs, especially of the RPG kind with that class system! I’ve also always been really fasinated by Magic and magicians in general, haha. After playing the game, though, Kiyo really sold me on the Ultimate Anthropologist talent! I was a Cognitive Science major in the school within the university that focuses on the humanities, so not only am I very interested in human cognitive thinking as individuals and as a group, but I took a lot of history and some anthropology courses. I really nerded out with Kiyo and Shuichi during those FTEs! History/Folklore is truly fascinating!
11. A character you’d revive?
Alright, this is a tough one for some of these because most of the ones I liked who died died “well,” as in their story was finished and satisfying. I’d surely love to see them alive again, true, but if we are going by canon and I could only bring back one, then it almost feels cheap. Kinda like “DR3 cheap.” That makes most of these characters not my favorites, but ones i felt deserve a second chance/should have survived.
DR1: Ishimaru. He isn’t my favorite character (I’m honestly gonna place him in the “he’s ok!” range), but he clearly didn’t have any satisfying development. You can’t get FTEs from his Kiyondo form, and he dies having done very little as Kiyondo other then some inconvenience regarding Alter Ego! It would probably be super interesting to see what he would do in later chapters, and if he ever snaps out of it in the chapters after.
DR2 (assuming the DR3 anime never happened): Saionji died for nothing, let’s be real here, lol. She was just barely going to reform herself and become a better person, and then she dies, offscreen, on accident. A friend also helped me realize that we never come across her murder weapon. I think that what would have been the best solution was not having a double murder. Plus, it would make it interesting to see whether she is able to forgive Kuzuryuu at all or not, how that affects the groups trust in each other in later parts of the game (since it is really hard to get close to her since she doesn’t trust people easily), and especially her reaction to being Ultimate Despair, as well as her growth spurt.
DRAE: Chihiro’s dad Taichi. He and Yuta died for shock, but how sad would it be if he was alive and found out his son was killed? And that his son’s legacy, Alter Ego, survived? Man, what a tragedy! It would have been nice to see him tag along with Toko and Komaru to the adult’s base and maybe try to hack into devices, or slowly give upgrades to Komaru making her life a little easier. He could also join Togami and leave Towa City.  He’d be an incredible asset to Future Foundation, but he would either refuse out of grief, or he’d take time to warm up to the idea, before accepting and becoming the head of any project regarding the Neo World Program/Alter Ego Chihiro, working closely with Miaya, and keeping close to those who had been Chihiro’s friends.
V3: hmmmm, this one I don’t know for sure. It’s between Hoshi, Miu, Kiibo, and… this may surprise you, but Angie as well.
*** Angie Negativity, you can skip it ***
I hate Angie, but she honestly needs the story development. She got the most abrupt ending, another offscreen death, and no resolution. Honestly speaking, if she had a better story and some form of redemption/questioning of her actions, I would like her a lot more. She just never learned that what she did was wrong, and unlike in her FTEs, telling her “no” made her stick more to her own opinion. Like, initially I didn’t like Celeste in CH3, but I actually grew to like her because she had that backstory that made her want to be more than she was, and she anyways accepted her death in the end without being spiteful and ruining the secret of Alter Ego, even giving the others a hint of where she kept him. She was leagues a better character than Angie. Angie, I was starting to kinda accept her after finishing her FTEs when I was still in CH2 (even if I hate the racial stereotypes, what with orgies, sacrifices, etc). She really made me mad when she refused to listen to anyone else and manipulated others to agree with her (I have an extremely soft spot for Himiko and Gonta, so my bias didn’t help her at all). I’ll give her that she’s really sly and a lot smarter than she tries to let on, but  her cutesy personality combined with manipulation to convert to a religion, suggested by light brainwashing using her paintings (and the fact the others were converted overnight), all so that she can get whatever she wants, and then not seeing any kind of downfall: no backlash or consequences because of what she did? It makes me mad. I’m sorry. I hate her and yet, she is one of the people I’d revive, hahaha. Geez, I honestly tried to like her despite my initial feelings I would dislike her, lol.
*** End of Angie Negativity ***
Kiibo dying while the other three survived is something that rubs me the wrong way since he almost never got respect until he was destroying the school, even when he was one of the few character that were actually helpful during the trials. Honestly, if the others survived, which, given the ending, was kinda pointless, then him surviving as well wouldn’t detract from the impact. Seriously, if anyone deserved to survive, it would be him or Maki.
As for Miu, her death felt like a cop out, for some reason. I can’t explain it exactly… I know that her being killed was because they needed her to go after Kokichi, so that they could get him to trick Gonta to kill her, but it feels wrong somehow? Like there was unfinished business? She had the electrohammers, electrobombs, a remote control, and a bug catcher, her more amazing inventions, made after her death. All her upgrades to Kiibo were very useful, but not as amazing. A drone and the camera set up are really simple, too. Her working with Kokichi on these amazing inventions feels like a plothole instead of plausible. It would be really nice to see her survive since, despite being vulgar, she’s really entertaining! And I wonder how she’d react to being told she wasn’t real, nor was she actually a genius inventor.
And I can’t forget Hoshi! He died horribly for no reason. Kirumi could have bashed him in the head with a tennis racket, or against the wall or something, after she knocked him out. There was no need to pin the blame on anyone. The second trial p*ssed me off so much because it was unnecessarily convoluted and cruel for no reason and anyways made no sense. My heart truly goes out for Hoshi. He had a horrible life! He was imprisoned for killing the Mafiai, was a true hero, and I wish he could have learned that he could find something to live for.
So yeah, V3 was the hardest for me this question, hahaha. I honestly can’t choose between these four. BIG SIGH
If this was bot the answer you were hoping for and you just wanted to get a list of my faves who dued, it would go like this: Sakura, Komaeda, Taichi, and Kaito! Priority goes to Sakura since Ko lives post-canon, hahaha
19. Favorite Free Time Events
DR1: Alright, honestly I need to actually play this game myself. I’ve only seen LPs of the game, and the anime does not have FTEs. The only FTEs I recall are Sayaka’s, Chihiro’s, Ishimaru’s, Kyoko’s, Sakura’s, and Asahina’s. I don’t think I can really say which is my favorite, but I really like Sakura’s and Kyoko’s. I just… can’t remember most of their backstories ^^
DR2: DR2 had too many good FTEs. Komaeda’s are probably the ones I liked the most, though? I didn’t care much for Komaeda initially. He was an interesting character, and I didn’t hate him (I was very neutral). I felt like there was more to him, so when I played the game myself after abandoning the LP I was watching, I went after him first and it changed my mind completely! I like it when a character’s background is explained and matches consequences and actions the character makes during the main story, and DR2 did this really well for my taste. Komaeda’s helped explain everything and made him a sympathetic character and helped me to understand him. Of course, it also sparked the Koma/Hina shipping, hahaha. If I had to come up with a runner up, it would be Souda’s for a similar reason! His also ties really well to the main story, especially with not being able to finish his FTEs until like after CH4, after he is done doubting Hajime.
V3: I’m stuck between Kiyo and Maki’s. Kiyo’s had more of an impact on me, though, because it flipped my initial suspicion I would hate him. Him being fascinated with anthropology and teaching Shuichi about it made me seriously love him as a character even though I was sure at the time I would hate him since I was spoiled about the incest plot twist. Maki’s was really well explained and tied nicely to the game’s story. She is kinda like Komaeda, in a way, hahaha. She had a tragic backstory because of her talent, been through hell, lost someone very precious to her, and her talent makes her actively try to avoid people and trust them. And, like I said before, I like FTEs that help explain why a character reacts the way they do (although in her case, a small part of her FTEs do land up in the main story, so I say they were slightly less effective, but tied better to the story)
DRAE doesn’t have FTEs, but there are explained backstories of the kids, and I loved Nagisa. His was the most relatable, with all of that pressure to succeed, never feeling good enough.
25. Saddest Death
DR1: 100% Sakura’s!!! She’s a real gem of a character, and I wish Danganronpa had more female characters that were like her! Anyways, she was so interesting, and not just for how she looks or her talent, but that she was the traitor torn by family duty and her loyalty to her friends. She thought that the best way to end this killing game was by sacrificing herself so that the group would not be split. She was so selfless and loved so much, yet she was treated horribly in her last hours because Monokuma made sure to make her as disliked as possible. And then he spits on her death further by stealing her last letter and will so he could use Hina to make the trial more interesting. My heart goes out to her more than anyone in DR1.
DR2: My gut instinct was to say “Komaeda” or “Nanami”, but truth be told, CH2 wrecked me! Peko’s execution really got to me because, firstly, I never suspected her, and secondly, her backstory with Fuyuhiko and the fact she killed and died to save him made the execution 10 times worse to endure! I hadn’t seen her FTE’s all the way through the first time, but I saw most of them and while she hadn’t been a favorite, she had a cute personality! I really did like her!. What made her death worse was Fuyuhiko’s reaction and him trying to intervene. I’m getting shills remembering it ^^;
DRAE: Most probably Taichi! Though it is hard to choose between him and Yuta, Taichi’s was the one that was most tragic, because up to his dying breath he was so excited to be able to have the chance to meet his son again. I mean, even if he did survive, his son would still be dead, but somehow it just felt worse than Yuta’s since we seemed to get to know Taichi better (he worked at Towa for the company, we talked to him more and his love for his son).
V3: Another hard one, and it is between Kaede, Hoshi, and Gonta… I feel like none of these three should have died, or at least for Gonta and Hoshi, not the way that they did. Gonta’s was the one I felt the most emotional over leading up to his death because of the present feeling of how Kokichi betrayed him and the feeling of how it wasn’t even his fault, really. Kaede’s I felt the angriest at because she was 100 times a better protag than Shuichi and I loved her. It doesn’t help that her death was especially tragic and her execution was gruesome (not that Gonta’s wasn’t gruesome, but it was too weird for me to feel much). Hoshi’s I felt the saddest over during the trial because of just how not-fair this was. I don’t even hate Kirumi, I really hate the writers for the trial because of all the pointless and illogical parts of the case and how Hoshi was murdered, but I ranted enough about it.

Note
So Nae/giri, Kamu/koma, Toukomaru and Kii/ruma for the ship meme ? :P You can do all of them or pick the ones you want to talk about, I just wanted to give you one ship per game ~
Thank you so much for the ask Serahne!!! :D I’d be more than happy to do them all!!!
From here: https://kimmysfandomblog.tumblr.com/post/168063250112/send-me-a-ship-and-ill-give-you-my-brutally
Since there’s 4, I’m gonna have to put it under the cut! And they got very long, sorry ^^;
obviously, V3 spoilers for the last one!
Nae/giri (+)
So, funny thing about me: I actually started DR with the Animation (I hadn’t even known a game existed at the time). Anyways, because it’s an anime, you don’t get those free time events, and everything is much, much faster. Basically…. I’m a real dunce when it comes to romance, so I hadn’t even realized Nae/giri was pretty heavily hinted at ^^; I spent most of the time thinking Kirigiri was gonna betray Naegi (which… I mean I wasn’t completely wrong, kinda? XD She didn’t mean to throw him under the bus at all, of course).
Now, I didn’t ship anyone in DR by the time I finished the anime. I’d seen it mostly as friendships, and that Naegi and Kirigiri’s was the strongest one. I don’t know when exactly it sprung on me that, hey, this is a ship!!!, but my best guess is that it wasn’t until I stumbled across DR again when it came out on Steam. A let’s player I kind of visit occasionally was playing the game and I got sucked into nostalgia, and he did Kirigiri’s FTEs. It was probably during that time that I recognized this was definitely a ship, one that was practically canon, and that actually, I’m okay with it, and even like it! If two characters like each other, and can support each other this well, then why not?
I’m not the biggest Naeg/iri fan (that spot for favorite DR1 ship belongs to another pairing, but admittedly it’s more of a pre-canon ship). I’ll admit, a part of me still thinks Naegi forgives Kirigiri too easily after all he’d been through, but if he gave her a hard time, he wouldn’t be Naegi! And I was a little salty she threw him under the bus, but Kirigiri made a mistake, acknowledges it, and even returns the favor back to him! It wasn’t even really her fault (she clearly didn’t know what would happen or she would have definitely let herself be sacrificed), so I forgive her, too!
If DR3 proved anything about Naeg/iri, it’s that Naegi and Kirigiri very clearly care for one another, and are able to balance each other out. They understand each other so well, and I’d say they definitely like, probably even love, each other. So, given canon events throughout the series, I ship it! It’s been good for both of them, the way I see it! I sincerely hope they continue to care and love each other post canon, too. They both deserve happiness after all they’ve been through together!
Kamu/Koma (-)
Okay, this one… this one actually irks me, I’m sorry to say. I know Kamukura is Hinata, and I definitely ship Koma/Hina, but Kamu/Koma…. it’s very different. I’ve read Kamu/Koma fics, and seen the fanart, (and sometimes I actually like the fanwork). I get why people like it. However, to me, it’s a very unbalanced ship.
Ko’s obsession with Hope and Talent, with Kamukura being the embodiment of Talent, and of the Hope Ko originally fixates on, makes it much too unbalanced because Kamukura is given all the power in this relationship. Not only that, but it would be Ko constantly trying to be useful to Kamukura, or trying to make things interesting for Kamukura. And Kamukura, well, I can’t see him reciprocating or giving back much. Kamukura’s kinda weird, as in he’s pretty selfish in a way. Maybe he’d do things back for Ko, but would he mean it? Would Ko even know if Kamukura cared? It doesn’t help that the majority of the fanworks don’t really do anything to disprove how I feel their relationship would work. People write/draw fanart for Kamu/Koma using this power play: Ko revering Kamukura like a god, doing demeaning things for him, or being like his housewife or maid or something, and Kamukura kind of staring blankly back, or barely reciprocating or acknowledging any of it. It’s also portrayed very sexually (?), with no amount of fluff, and I end up feeling sorry for Ko. I really can’t ship something this one-sided where only one person has affection for the other, or at the very least, where it’s difficult to see how affectionate one is for the other.
And, I suppose, another thing is just the fact that I like Haji way more than Kamukura. Sometimes Kamu/Koma shippers portray Haji as the one losing out, the third wheel left behind, or even saying Kamukura should have fully returned. I’m glad, in the end, Haji is seemingly acting like he’s mostly Haji to his friends.
However, I admit that besides how I see the Kamu/Koma dynamic playing out… the really extreme shippers were the reason I can’t stand it most of the time. More than a year ago now, there was this huge shipping war, and at least to me, with the people I was following at the time, it seemed like it was mostly between extreme Kamu/Koma shippers against the extreme Hina/Nami shippers. The sheer hatred and pride at being so hateful disgusted me. I unfollowed a few people that I used to like because of all these scathing remarks against Nami (by that I mean DR2 Nami) and basically mocking the fans for liking and defending her, and then being proud of it, even celebrating it in a congratulating post to themselves. I mean, I know now it was aimed at the Nami lovers that were just as bad as they were being, but it still hurts either way. I wasn’t following anyone that was strictly Hina/Nami at the time, but I did see a lot of Ko discourse flying around, too (and heavily disagreed with them of course). Even after that, people were tagging their hate for Nami and Ko, and the ships. I couldn’t escape it. Maybe I’m over-imagining it, but that’s how I feel about it. I’m glad it’s settled down now that V3 is mostly distracting people from it these days.
As for how I feel about Kamu/Koma today, sometimes seeing Kamu/Koma (or Hina/Nami) makes me cringe, and other times, I find it okay (though it’s mostly the former. I always felt weird about Kamu/Koma because of the power dynamic).
Unrelated: Weirdly enough, even though I don’t like Hina/Nami, I ended up liking Kamu/Nami, but only because AI Kamukura exists ^^; I actually participated in Kamu/Nami week, too, and… yeah I actually like it. My guilty pleasure ship, lol. Just... not so much for Hina/Nami. DR3 Hina/Nami was that bad.
Sorry that answer was very negative, but brutal honesty right? I know I have followers that ship it, and I don’t really mind as long as no one is trying to force me to like it or see it!
Toko/maru (+)
Well, I didn’t like Another Episode as a whole that much, but I did like the interactions between Toko and Komaru a lot. Their friendship was just so good! They were able to help each other, see the faults in each other, and call them out. Komaru helps Toko learn to trust her through her genuine kindness and loyalty, and Toko helps Komaru find solutions and helps break Komaru’s habit of seeing herself as just a normal girl with no way to change what happens around her.
And the ending, where Toko decides to stay with Komaru instead of leaving with Togami? It makes me feel a lot of joy, honestly. Nothing against ToFu, but her choosing Komaru over Togami was great! Like, from what I remember of her FTE’s Toko has had trouble trusting people. Neither of her moms wanted her, and she was even dated as a part of a dare. Her moms and that boy both treated her nicely, but they actually didn’t like her (actually I wonder about the moms, but I’ll have to revisit those FTEs eventually). The reason she is so infatuated with Togami probably has to do with how rudely he treats her, on top of being the SHSL Heir. If he got with her, it would be like a romance novel come to life, and he wouldn’t be pretending to like her. However, it’s unrealistic the way it is in canon. Togami may be getting better, but at least at the point canon left off, he still needs some work.
I’m very glad Toko has Komaru. Komaru treats her normally instead of being scared off or angry at Toko’s accusations and jokes, and she openly shows how much she cares about Toko. I can see Tokomaru both as a strong friendship, or a future romantic relationship, given time. And, based on the one DR3 episode, it seems like their bond has done nothing but grow! They trust in each other and work really well together. May they remain this close or more post-canon!
Kii/ruma (+)
I don’t know if anyone was expecting this to be appealing? I usually don’t like the characters that spew vulgarities, so I thought I’d never like Miu. I was so wrong! And, knowing what I did, I never thought I’d ship her with Kiibo, who’s just… so pure??? I remember, back when I was trying to avoid spoilers, that one CG where Miu was apparently performing maintenance came up, and I totally misjudged it.
However, this game… it subverted my expectations. The CG was not as uncomfortable as I thought! Miu got a bit too close, and I’m 99% sure she knew what she was saying and how it could sound, and Kiibo just came for maintenance, and he doesn’t really get the double meanings to her words, but somehow ends up saying things that could be suggestive too XD It was so funny! I honestly thought, upon getting spoiled that CG before playing, that he wasn’t consenting to whatever was going on, but while I can’t say it was “innocent,” it was clearly not that bad. And after that, Miu is introduced to the Neo World Program and Kiibo gets jealous of the computer XD To try to get the most out of my V3 experience, I actually went up to every character each FT to get their “FTE starter,” so I know he’s always been either in the hall right before the computer room, or (not much farther away from there) next to the three empty rooms. I’m pretty sure the first FTE of that chapter, he even gets defensive over his not-jealousy of a computer, lol!!! There was also that part in Chapter 4, before going to the Virtual World, Monotaro calls Kiibo “Daddy” and Miu “Mommy” XD and even after her death, he was so sad he wished he could cry for her, which just punches me in the feels… and from what I remember in Trial 4, Kiibo was pretty much trying to defend her as the others pretty much admitted to not caring that much about her? I’d need to replay that trial, but that’s what I took from it in regards to Miu. Also, I guess another reason I like it is because Ouma bullies both of them, so they are similar in that regard haha.
I guess, maybe as the sole complaint, I wonder how Miu felt about Kiibo? I mean, clearly, she was interested in him because he’s a robot, but I wonder how she felt about Kiibo as a person? I think she respected Kiibo, but I can’t gauge how much she liked him from what I remember of the game. She was certainly proud and happy to give him upgrades, and Kiibo doesn’t seem to mind so much when she does, even though he hates sci-fi things, or generally any reminder he’s not as human as he’d like to be. She always kept her upgrades rather simple, and he was always so proud to have them! Maybe she wanted to add all that fancy gear from his Ultimate Lab, but didn’t push him when he said no. Maybe that’s why he was fond of her?
Kii/ruma’s a really cute ship to me! It’s probably more funny, than cute (but the fanart is so very cute...), but either way, I still really like it! And well, it’s about one of the only ships I care about in V3 as well, hahaha. It didn’t seem forced, I didn’t really feel like it was necessarily one-sided, and their dynamic was great and interesting!!! I should really check out those anthologies sometime to see if there’s any more Kii/ruma in it, hahaha.
