I GENUINELY wish I understood the appeal of Taylor Swift I really really do. many of my friends do. but it's just. I don't think a single one of her songs has ever landed above 'ok' or 'nostalgically cheesy' for me and every time I think that I feel so incredibly like I'm trying to be snobby but I'm not? it's not about not liking pop or not liking the cool thing I love pop I love cheese I just also like music that has some...I guess energy and danceability or specific and meaningful rage and I have found nothing to hook into in anything she's made. Antihero nearly works for me. Blank Space works conceptually but not in practise. but other than that the last thing she made that did anything for me even as a throwaway pop song was. god it actually might be We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together or 22 which at least are catchy but I can't say ever made it to my playlists.
I want to get it, I genuinely do. I have listened to most of her releases at least once because I keep thinking if I try hard enough something will open up for me but nah however hard I try it's just extremely mid. like yes that certainly is music. I can immediately recognise it as Taylor Swift, it's not like it's utterly generic, but it absolutely just registers to me as background music. I want so much to understand what it is about her that makes her the biggest person in music for like 15 years now.
(I could say the same about Beyoncé who if anything lands worse for me. Break My Soul owns, but other than that I have landed everything I've heard of hers since like 2008 firmly in the Do Not Relisten pile it just lands like a ton of loose sand for me. and this is not mentioning the actual crime against music that was Jolene bc I don't think that worked for most people tbf. and again it's not that I don't like pop or r&b or rap cause that's like. between those genres about a third of the music I listen to. but her work is just so unengaging to me personally and I don't know why and I wish I got it)
#red said#~oh you just don't like things that are popular~ i LIKE liking things that are popular!#i like lizzo! i love lil nas x! i think billie eilish is amazing! i think I'm too old for olivia rodrigo but i get the appeal!#i think with taylor and possibly also beyonce though there's like a level of calculated pose that makes their music feel like work#like it doesn't. to me. feel like it connects because it feels like a product put together as a marketing persona#and not in a fun way like Katy Perry used to but like. Taylor Swift's music is extremely thought through. even the missteps.#and musically it feels really uninteresting and emotionally it feels like the IDEA of emotional relatability not any kind of insight#it's very middle of the road to me. even when it's taking risks it's not taking risks.#and tbf if i was gonna guess at why she's as popular as she is I'd say it's that. it's sustainable and marketable and well planned.#like Montero was a fucking phenomenal album because it was incredibly honest and creative. but tbh has Lil Nas X had the same impact since?#no not really bc he put EVERYTHING into that album and now tbh he's putting out new music that's fine but not earthshattering#whereas Taylor definitely knows how to market herself and how to change her brand incrementally without having to get more vulnerable#but like. her whole thing is kind of as a confessional singer songwriter vibe. which needs vulnerability and messiness#and to me it always sounds very very managed and very defensive and that is. flat.

Not plagiarism but I think swift has been going for Katy Perry's teenage dream/tgif vibe lately. She changes her personality based on whatever man she's with and right now she's the HS cheerleader. She wants to portray that youthful carefree lifestyle that Perry already did, yknow 10 years ago. Except perrys was fun and intentionally silly. we know that perrys music has since matured while swifts has regressed; its just sad. It's like the guy who graduated 4 years ago still hanging around the high school parking lot. Swift is not old by any means but 34 is too old to be acting like a juvenile whiny baby.
Look, I'm her age, and I enjoy things that are supposedly "not for my age." I like k-pop and the music by the new pop girlies, I like the baggy clothes baddie aesthetic, I like to customize my shoes using sharpies. But if you look at my writings, my writing style has definitely evolved. I, like many artists and writers, cringe whenever I'm faced with my works from 5, 6 years ago. The themes are different. The metaphors and the dynamics, the thought processes they depict are all different. Because I've moved on, I've grown, my view of life and my relationship with love and relationships is different.
We think of TS as juvenile because she hasn't. She keeps singing about the same things over and over again. She keeps finding herself in the same situations over and over again, and reacting THE EXACT same way over and over again. No one would bat an eye about Beyonce singing a song from the pov of a cheerleader or using that aesthetic in her shows because the general public knows that's not her real persona and that's not how we view her. TS has no real persona. No one knows who she is or what she stands for or how her personality is outside of the performer because she has changed all of that so many times that when she switches aesthetics the general public assume that's the new Taylor. There's no depth to her under the micro trend she decided to co-opt for the current album.
Like you pointed out, even when Katy did the same bit ten years ago, it felt different because Katy has a level of self-awareness Taylor simply doesn't. It doesn't seem to be a bit or a new act for her, it's not even her new style. It's the new HER.
#anti taylor swift#swifties dni#sorry for the rambling i had an exam today and my brain still feels like scrambled eggs

Thank you for your answer! Yup, a good chunk of people have a tendency to oversimplify things or take them at face value from my personal observations.
Red scarf = she compared it to her innocence = she's young = omg, it must be a metaphor for her V card!!! Let's ask Taylor about that theory and ignore that she gifts a red scarf to the bride in the IBYTAM m/v!!!
Bad Blood = is about her feud with Katy Perry over some back up dancers!!! Ignore the fact that the phrase "mad love" was used in romantic context in other songs in the same album!!
So I guess I can see why people may be inclined to think we're basically saying "Taylor and Karlie are together because they've carried the same bag this month!" and simply ignore all nuance or not ask why these information are being shown to us in this manner given how Taylor operates in a careful and strategic way ... like a Mastermind, if you will.
But I guess calling Karlie "poor" for "sitting in the nosebleeds" is much more fun 🤷♀️
thank you for your follow up!
yeah i’m not that great at explaining it but i’m glad we got on the same page!
i think the reason why things are simplified is one thing i have always found interesting about taylor and a lot of her core fans that grew up with her music
its that she in a sense raised them to be on alert to her easter eggs, and made this a part of her persona, but she did so while her fans were also firming very personal and real bonds with taylor in their minds, to the point that the easter egging became melded into the big ball of feelings a lot of people harbor for their image of taylor swift which is an extension of their own identities. the patterns which a lot of us have come to see as PR are also core easter egging memories for a lot of fans, growing up with taylor, and represent a sense of comfort and culture.
which is a wordy way of saying that, any suggestion that taylor does the things she does for reasons either than what they experienced.. it can feel like a personal attack.
what’s so fascinating or beautiful about all this to me is that—and i think this is a common tension of our times—when you go to look at things objectively or try to deconstruct institutions or concepts or biases or modernity.. it can come off clinical and cold and cynical to a lot of people, you know? sort of… ruining ‘nice’ things, right?
but the thing is, when you do this with taylor you instead open up a whole fascinating and lush world of true love and pain, deep stories and fascinating people, actual secrecy and high stakes, that feels incredibly historic and full of meaning. like i can’t tell you how much coming upon gaylor but also kaylor specifically in all its complexities and intricacies has made me feel so much more present in my life and grateful to be alive and to experience the world.. to be more introspectful and to grow.. there’s something so moving and… epic… epoch-ful… about their story. i’m not sure how self aware taylor was when writing timeless but my god, it’s exactly what it is.
so while i definitely understand the mechanics of how some of her core fans instinctively push away thinking critically about taylor, i don’t think i will ever stop feeling like i want to share it to more people because it’s like… if you can break through.. it’s so fucking beautiful 😭😭😭

ok i know this is played out but i wanna touch on how music is generally seen as one of the most socially acceptable art forms. it is impossible to live as a human and escape music, its everywhere. however, that really doesnt mean that music is upheld as an art worth discussing.
id say its pretty fair to point out poetry and music are fairly similar mediums. they cross over all the time, and the distinction of the two is more of a matter of subjective taste than concrete lines. something interesting ive found with poetry is that its not as easily accessible by the masses as music - why not? much of poetry is melodic or could be easily transformed into song. the iambic pentameter is infamous for its specificity when it comes to syllables, very akin to how lyrics in music must conform to certain tempos or become a noisy cacophony.
the kendrick vs drake beef has brought the idea of music being poetic back into the mainstream. i say "back into" but any kendrick fan can tell you that hes always incorporated poetic devices into his lyrics and instrumentals to illustrate the theme of his song/album better. its fun! its a way for him to showcase his skills while also making the music a participatory act for the audience. almost like a scavenger hunt, you know everything is THERE, its up to you to find WHERE. however, the beef has far surpassed kendrick and drake fans, hiphop/rap fans, and has become a discussion point for those who have absolutely no background in these mediums. this is not a diss, its an acknowledgement that for those of us who have and do revere music as an artform, a lot of the talking points can come off as very beginner - because they are, they're made by beginners who are finding their foothold in this new world, just like we all did at one time whether we were 5 or 50 when we first started.
disclaimers aside, my grievances aren't with the people intrigued by accusations. i mean, i dont like 2010 pop very much but if katy perry called pink a pedophile you bet your ass id have tuned the fuck in. im not even sure if thats a comparable accusation, as i think katy perry was more popular than pink? i dont know, you get my point. the accusations are more indicative of the system they're both existing in than kendrick saying this one guy sucks and if we get rid of him and his groupies hollywood will be rainbows sunshine and happiness forever. like, we should still get rid of him, but the systems in place that let drake rise to the level hes at and profit so widely from the communities he claims to represent wont disappear with him, they'll just find the next drake, or taylor swift, or james corden, literally fucking whoever fits the mold they need them to fit into, and if they dont, then adapt to the mold assigned to them. the system continues, the gears keep turning.
i dont even want to talk about the beef necessarily, though i do want to talk about the two songs meet the grahams and Not Like Us. meet the grahams was the heavy-hitter. the one that got everyone talking. Not Like Us was the chaser. a sweeter mixture to dull out the bitterness in the audience's mouth. there's been more controversy about the lyricism in Not Like Us than meet the grahams, and i find that it comes from a lack of understanding of what artforms really are - communicative devices. they're not trying to TELL you something, as something like a report or spreadsheet would with its analysis of sourced data, but it's trying to make you EXPERIENCE something. you can hear the sentence "Treat others the way you want to be treated." all your life, but if you've never experienced a situation where you need others to treat you with the same humanity they hold for themselves, it's a lot less impactful.
Not Like Us showcases exactly what kendrick lamar has already shown us repeatedly: he not only understands people, but he knows how to get through to them. meet the grahams will inevitably go down as one of the most vicious disstracks of all times, yes, but who's bumping that shit? nobody. its not supposed to be bumped. people discuss how it sounds very eerie and frightening, and its SUPPOSED. TO. BE. the instrumentals weren't picked for no reason. the unintelligible yelling in the background? purposeful. the vocals of kendrick going in and out of rage, of him simultaneously saying he wants drake dead and also that he wants him to improve himself by going through ego dissolution? purposeful. this is not just kendrick showing his own emotions regarding the scenario, he's priming the audience to be on his side by proactively aligning himself with their emotions - which leads me to Not Like Us.
okay. like, even the title you see it clearly. Not Like Us. kendrick, even before the song begins, has the audience creating an Us VS Them dichotomy with drake and his crew. kendrick also doesnt define a clear 'us' within the song - he does directly call out drake's culture vulturism in his music, but notice how deliberate he is with it. kendrick points out how drake uses "the people" to get himself a larger paycheque. that is, purposefully, relatable to every working class person regardless of race or location. he uses specific black people in his examples because of drake's anti-blackness, and while he mentions drake being half white in a few of his songs his criticism is always very carefully cushioned by the fact that kendrick DEFENDS drake's white half. he says hes a culture vulture for profiting off of such an important artform made by and for black america, yes, but he also points out that the inauthenticity towards his mother's side of the family and his nationality as canadian is pathetic and disloyal. he SPECIFICALLY MENTIONS how drake lied about his religious views not because kendrick hates the jews secretly but because DRAKE CAN'T PROFIT OFF OF BEING JEWISH THE SAME WAY HE CAN BEING BLACK. that's why he doesn't claim being jewish as hard as he does being black, if the inverse was true i doubt drake would EVER try to 'fit in' to the hip-hop crowd, in the same way he rarely if ever mentions his upbringing in a jewish household.
this is very important and VERY strategic of kendrick. he CANNOT be making enemies in this stage. kendrick has been banking on this reaching far past hip-hop/rap crowds. drake is fluid and, to the core, mainstream. therefore, kendrick NEEDS his lyricism to be just as easily approachable. think about the difference between kendrick's double entendres. "Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A Minor" has been a joke since, probably literally the day we quantified the concept of chords in music theory. some people criticize the line because of that, accusing kendrick of being a hack for using such an easy joke. what they dont understand is, THE JOKE HAD TO BE EASY. it had to simultaneously be easy to access for the general public and also still somewhat biting. kendrick already planted the seeds of drake being a pedophile in meet the grahams, and he's reaping his harvest by dropping that line and "Certified Loverboy, Certified Pedophile". they not only dont have to be clever, THEY CAN'T BE. they can't be more clever than what the layman would gather with one listen, they're his hooks in the song.
some people use Not Like Us as kendrick stepping up to the dick measuring contest on drake's terms. "oh, you think you so good cause you can write something that'll get em jumping? not only can i do that, i can do it BETTER." and i do agree with them! Not Like Us was incredibly well thought-out. it gives us basically no new information, but it doesnt need to, Not Like Us owes its purpose to beating people over the head with a few of the concepts addressed in euphoria. and meet the grahams, yes, and also to prime the audience against drake, yes, and also to show the audience that anything drake does you can get somewhere else and done better, YES! even the beat is produced by DJ Mustard, whose works are both familiar to rap fans, and widely loved. DJ Mustard producing it reinforces the Us VS Them. i mean, even casual listeners of rap have heard the notorious tag "Mustard on the beat, ho!".
im not going to claim this hasnt been pointed out before, i havent seen it, but im sure it has. kendricks discography has primed old fans to indulge in every lyric to make sure no nuance is missed. i dont think kendricks artistry has been in doubt once the entire time this beef has been widely popular. so it seems a little silly then, to start this goddamn dissertation off with a criticism of how music isnt treated with the same consideration by its fans like how a similar artform, poetry, is. and thats because... well, 1: music is way more popular than poetry, like i said. and that leads into 2: people dont recognize music as... important.
some music is. that's true. i mean, remember during the pandemic when celebrities were singing john lennon's Imagine from their mansions while the working class were dying from completely preventable causes? we can say what we will about that era, and oh boy do i have a lot to say, but it does prove that we on some level acknowledge the impact of music. why else choose a song? why not literally just say the words, or words to that impact? because music is better? well, no. people say impactful shit everyday - sans music. Inspirational speeches are a type of communication basically always devoid of music and yet they serve very similar purposes. so, no. music isnt always better. in fact, during the situation i outlined above, i could not think of anything WORSE than breaking into a little tune and jig. there is some tact necessary.
music, however, does excel in one thing inspirational speeches don't: community. this may make little sense, because inspirational speeches are notorious for being purposeful in their bonding of individuals into one united movement. but i want you to consider this: what role does the speaker hold? in inspirational speeches, they're on the same side as the crowd, yes, but they tend to hold some position above or differing from them. a figurehead or trusted authority figure to a movement. they're fighting for the same thing, but they're in a unique position to the crowd.
think about music in that same concept. the singer doesnt tend to hold that same difference. how could it? the audience sings along, the audience dances, the audience taps their foot or bobs their head, whatever participation is included, its necessary. kendrick's Not Like Us, no matter how eloquently reworked, would have NEVER gained the same traction as an inspirational speech. it would make kendrick seem too different from the masses. it would remind us that... he's a celebrity too. he isn't working class. he isn't the one getting affected most by drake's culture vulturism, misogyny, or alleged pedophilia. which would then ask the question: well... why didnt he point this out earlier?
some people are still asking that question, which i think does hold merit. kendrick lamar is not our friend. he has done amazing things for his community and black americans at large and we absolutely cannot discredit that, but kendrick lamar could personally fund my lifestyle forever and that still wouldn't mean i know him or his mindset. he is much more impactful to me because a lot of his songs about growing up in poverty or in crime-ridden environments resonate with my own upbringing, and hearing his experiences heightens that level of relatability because kendrick DID experience what he's writing about, unlike drake, but i also know me. i know people from my block, people who died or got on drugs. im aware that it isnt a black and white scenario, that someone could do amazing things in one area and hurt people in another, and that both are true simultaneously. kendrick himself is obviously aware of this, he addresses it routinely in his music.
i truly believe that kendrick lamar showcases an incredible wisdom of people in his music. i believe that is more necessary to contributing to music than having a good ear for what sounds right. music is a communicative tool, and kendrick knows exactly what to say, how to say it, and when, to elicit the response he wants. THAT is why the people who thought drake would ever win the beef were, at the very best, not paying close enough attention. roasts are not just insults, they're insights to another person's flaws. a metaphorical airing of dirty laundry to the public to initiate change. kendrick can get away with outright admitting he hates shit about drake for no reason and not be seen as petty because he articulates it in a way that has the audience agreeing with him. sometimes you hate somebody for a reason you can't pinpoint - and the funniest part is that kendrick CAN pinpoint exactly why he hates, for example, when drake says the n word. he literally goes on to say why! very explicitly! but now he's made it more comfortable for people to start bashing on drake for any given reason because "the vibes are off".
TLDR; be careful what you listen to, because theyre definitely listening to you.

WR!Isaac Lahey Facts + HC's
A/N: Please keep in mind Wilted Roses is set in a modern setting!
Im gonna try and split this up best I can!
☆ Disabilities ☆
Isaac has autism. I've had this head canon for so long its UNREAL. He gets over stimmed by loud noises and gunshots.
He has walking aids. (Forearm crutches to be specific) He's not open about what they're for, he also doesn't need them all the time.
Isaac has PTSD. (Im led to believe this is canon but I'd figure I'd include it as is) His father obviously was an asshole. Due to this he'll have panic episodes.
★ Personal Life ★
Isaac skateboards. He has a few boards and is pretty good at it. He doesn't compete like Scott and Stiles have suggested, he just rides for fun.
He loves Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. 'I kissed a girl' is his personal favorite.
Isaac is a math brain, all the way. The definition of a human calculator. Give him any problem and he's got it. Except fractions, he'd rather die then mess with those.
Isaac would prefer not to put a lable on himself so he just calls himself queer. He's aceflux.
He uses He/They/She and masc terms!
Self care is his favorite thing ever. He has a whole routine (if a bit excessive) that he does every night.
Isaac is invested in romance shows. (Brett hates this so much) He gets invested so fast and won't drop it until it ends. Lydia and Isaac have movie nights watching their favorite romance shows.
He hates gore. At all costs. Blood makes him want to throw up or pass out.
☆ Clothing style ☆
Isaac hates getting all dresses up. He's that kinda guy who throws something on, not caring if it matches.
His closet is just very loose clothes that hide his body.
Jeans are the love of his life, ripped, baggy, ANYTHING. His favorite.
He's nor huge a hoodies, he'd prefer a zip up if he's has one on hand. Its much more freeing for him.
The most formal thing he owns is a flannel.
Converse are the only shoes he owns.
For summer he'll wear a T-shirt with a band on it and some ripped jeans with tights.
As for winter he wears jeans (of course) one of Brett's jackets if he can get his hands on them (if he can't Scott is his next option) and beanies. Rarely will he wear boots.
----------------
A/N: WHOOOO- I've had this planned for so long its unreal.

Ranking Every Album I listened to in 2024!
130. Alec Benjamin- 12 Notes.
Alec Benjamin presents ideas in his songwriting that have been done before a million times in a million different ways. From vocals to instrumentals, everything about this was quite grating to me.
129. Sia- Reasonable Woman.
Sia has had better songs in the past, and while there's some decent messaging with some tracks, I find the project unbearable.
128. Lil Uzi Vert- Eternal Atake 2.
As a fan of Cartoon Network and professional wrestling, I like that Uzi references Bobby Lashley and shows like Ben 10 and Ed, Edd, n Eddy in some songs. But that's all I like here.
127. Bon Jovi- Forever.
An infuriatingly dull listen when you consider the classics he's made like Living on a Prayer or Shot Through the Heart.
126. Adult Jazz- So Sorry So Slow.
The final track on the album is mellow enough that it works quite well. I don't think they should use autotune again, though.
125. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign- Vultures 2.
By far Kanye's worst album ever, just awful. I do like Sky City though.
124. Katy Perry- 143.
Katy Perry has been washed for a long time now, hasn't she?
123. Zayn- Room under the Stars.
Not terrible, but it's a pretty uninteresting listen.
122. Autumn!- You Never Was Mine.
The production is alright, but lyrically and vocally, Autumn! as an artist feels generic and unmemorable to me.
121. Taylor Swift- The Tortured Poets Department.
The album has no business being as long as it is. She has better albums than this.
120. $not- Viceroy.
$not is quite aggressive on the album, but it doesn't work for me. As a plus, I like the instrumentals of the song '2005'.
119. Ice Spice- Y2K.
She is excessive with references to poop, farts, and ass. How unfortunate she has fallen off.
118. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign- Vultures 1.
This album wasn't very good either, but at least Ty carries his parts really well. It's brought down way more by Ye himself, however.
117. James Arthur- Bitter Sweet Love.
Sometimes, he sounds like Lewis Capaldi. I do not like Lewis Capaldi.
116. Static X- Project Regeneration Vol 2.
Not crazy about the vocals, but the instrumentals are pretty decent.
115. Gracie Abrams- The Secret of Us.
I sorta like 'I Love You, I'm Sorry,' but otherwise, this is very generic.
114. 42 Dugg- 4eva Us Neva Them.
While it's interesting in some parts lyrically, it's too bloated and would benefit from some trimming of the tracks.
113. Dream Evil- Metal Gods
Decent vocals, but the storytelling here really bores me.
112. Tinashe- Quantum Baby.
A majority of the songs on the project are middling. But Nasty is by far the most fun and best song of the eight tracks.
111. Rich The Kid- Life's A Gamble.
It doesn't move me, but it's a fine trap album, in my opinion.
110. Maggie Lindemann- HEADSPLIT.
I think there was potential here for this to be better. Maggie has a great voice, but the songwriting needs work.
109. Camilia Cabello- C, XOXO.
Camilia starts the album horribly with the track 'I luv it.' It gets a little better after the opening track, but not by a lot.
108. Glass Animals- I Love You So Fucking Much.
I struggle to say any track is good, but I think some of the songs here do have decent moments.
107. Magic!- inner Love Energy.
Magic! goes a little above the others as it coasts along on a vibe. But it's just fine.
106. Imagine Dragons- Loom.
Instrumentals aren't too bad at times! But this band doesn't move me the same way they did ten years ago.
105. American Authors- Call Your Mother.
In 2023, they released a pop album that I found quite disappointing. In 2024, they dropped a folk album that's a bit more fitting for them.
104. Justin Timberlake- Everything I Thought It Was.
Justin performs okay here, but the Tobe Nwigwe feature is the real standout here.
103. Lil Dicky- Penith.
This collection of songs from Dicky's TV show DAVE works better within the context of the show.
102. Kraftwerk- Trans-Europe Express.
The classic electronic album turned 47 years old this past year. While I respect the influence it has passed onto others, I find that while it's in no way bad, it just doesn't compel me.
101. Levitation Room- Strange Weather.
Another fine album. I do like some of the love odes and its chill, lo-fi vibe, however.
100. Usher- Coming Home.
Usher's voice is still phenomenal, even if some of the songs here don't quite reach the heights of his more classic songs.
99. Ad Infinitum- Abyss.
As we now enter the territory of albums that are merely okay, this is peak mid.
98. Angie McMahon- Light Sides.
Vocally not, lyrically not bad, all around not too shabby.
97. Coldplay- Moon Music.
It's cool that they bring in guitars, synths, and pianos and they sound swell in some tracks. Some.
96. Pet Shop Boys- Nonetheless.
Eh. This one is okay but they dropped a better project this year.
95. Jennifer Lopez- This is Me...Now.
Sometimes Jennifer hits notes well, but she ain't hitting like she used to.
94. Meghan Trainor- Timeless.
Pop girlie doing okay here, but not as well as some of her other peers in the pop genre.
93. OneRepublic- Artificial Paradise.
Some okay songs here, but it feels somewhat telling that there are two instrumental tracks on here and I like those more than the majority where singing occurs.
92. Mannequin Pussy- I Got Heaven.
Besides instrumentals, my favorite aspect of the band is their name.
91. Cage the Elephant- Neon Pill.
Some decent songs, but nothing as notable as their big hit 'Ain't No Rest For The Wicked.'
90. The Decemberists- As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again.
Another okay album with some decent moments in its vocals and instrumentals.
89. Ken Carson- A Great Chaos (Deluxe Edition).
I like how silly it can be. Like with the Sydney Sweeny song.
88. Linkin Park- From Zero.
There was an honest attempt to do something here, which I can respect. But Chester Bennington's lack of presence is felt so hard.
87. Kings of Leon- Can We Please Have Fun.
The album works on a lowkey vibe, and the track Rainbow Ball engages me the most.
86. The Cure- Songs of A Lost World.
This is my first impression of the highly lauded band. And while the lyricism is impressive, the album doesn't move me overall that much.
85. Pixies- The Night The Zombies Came.
No bad songs here, but nothing I like more than "Where is My Mind."
84. Poppy- Negative Spaces.
Poppy leans heavily into metal here, but when she strays into rock or EDM territory, I like it more.
83. Leon Bridges- Leon.
Very smooth vocals, not too bad Leon.
82. G Herbo- Big Swerv.
The first track, 'Strike You' is my favorite and it's a shame I don't like the rest of the songs as much as that one.
81. Tom Petty- Hypnotic Eye.
This album turned ten years old, and as a sendoff to the legendary artist, I guess it's okay. It's also the first Tom Petty album I've ever heard so it's hard to have a measuring point with his discography.
80. Sheryl Crow- Evolution.
Speaking of sendoff albums for beloved artists that are okay, I like Sheryl Crow's one a little more than Tom Petty's.
79. Eminem- The Death of Slim Shady.
His flow and wordplay can still be impressive, for sure. But this is far from some of Eminem's best work.
78. Glorilla- Glorious.
Another okay album, but also pretty fun to listen to! Surprisingly, when she turns to God on tracks like 'Rain Down on Me' and 'Glo's Prayer' it hooks me and works really well.
77. Foster The People- Paradise State of Mind.
I was never big on their song 'Pumped Up Kicks.' Luckily, the songs on this project I like way more.
76. Nelly Furtado- 7.
Nothing as big as a bop as 'Promiscuous,' but there are some decent lyrics and many features that perform solidly.
75. $uicideboys- New World Depression.
Pleasantly surprised with what the project delivers. Another okay one, but production helps bring it as high as it is.
74. Aurora- What Happened to The Heart?
Some pretty intriguing messaging regarding love and heartbreak, though I do wish it ran more with the upbeat EDM-esque run it goes on toward the end of the album.
73. Don Toliver- Hardstone Psycho.
Some catchy hooks and instrumentals here. Probably could've done without a few songs from the album.
72. Jesse McCartney- All's Well.
An okay EP, with the most entertaining romp coming from his song with Yung Gravy.
71. Alestorm- Voyage of The Dead Marauder.
I dig the pirate, sea shanty vibe, it's okay.
70. MGMT- Loss of Life.
I dig the song 'Dancing in Babylon,' otherwise, everything else is decent.
69. Maggie Rogers- Don't Forget Me.
Some enticing subject matter here with a focus on love and loss.
68. Ariana Grande- Eternal Sunshine.
Some really good vocals, but if anything, I'm more impressed by Ariana's songs in Wicked than I am here.
67. Twenty-One Pilots- Clancy.
Not my favorite of their projects, but I like it more than their previous one, Scaled and Icy.
66. Sum 41- Heaven :x: Hell.
I'm quite endeared to some of their earlier work, and while some of the songs here aren't as up to snuff, there are still some songs here worth listening to.
65. Billie Eilish- Hit Me Hard and Soft.
I liked Happier Than Ever more.
64. Kacy Hill- BUG.
With decent instrumentals and vocals, Kacy Hill has a solid album.
63. Yelawolf- War Story.
Yelawolf's strongest suit, in my opinion, is his storytelling. He falters within some songs lyrically or with instrumentals, but on a few tracks, he tells a good story.
62. Tierra Whack- World Wide Whack.
The album wavers a little in the middle of the run, but the last 5 tracks really stand out.
61. Lyrical Lemonade- All is Yellow.
Interesting collection of artists on this project. Also, the Eminem song on here is better than his songs on Death of Slim Shady.
60. Green Day- Saviors.
What I said for Sum 41 can literally apply to Green Day as well.
59. Glaive- I care so much I don't care at all.
Now, we transition from albums I thought were okay to albums that I thought were pretty good. This 2023 release is raw and passionate, and while I don't fully relate to the material, I find it pretty fascinating.
58. Tenille Arts- To Be Honest.
Some of the country twang doesn't move me too much, but when it's mellow, I find that it really grips me.
57. Kacey Musgraves- Deeper Well.
'Anime Eyes' is a terrible track, but the album also has 'The Architect,' which is one of my faves of the album.
56. Pearl Jam- Dark Matter.
First ever Pearl Jam album I've heard, and suddenly the jokes about lead singer Eddie Vedder's voice make sense to me now. I still really do like it though! :)
55. House of Protection- Galore.
It's giving Hollywood Undead vibes, but better.
54. Dua Lipa- Radical Optimism.
It starts a little weak but gets better as it goes along.
53. Khalid- Sincere.
With such a soothing voice, Khalid helps craft a pretty engaging and reflective listen.
52. MOTHICA- Kissing Death
Sad girl core done well.
51. Snow Patrol- The Forest is The Path.
It loses a little bit of steam halfway, but the first few tracks of this are quite strong.
50. Cigarettes After Sex- X's.
I like when artists aim for certain lowkey vibes and hit them well.
49. Bishop Briggs- Tell My Therapist I'm Fine.
With a powerful voice, Bishop Briggs can hold a tune.
48. Oasis- Definitely Maybe.
With Oasis reuniting and going on tour, and this album turning 30, it made sense to listen for the first time. Quite a respectable album.
47. A$AP Ferg- Darold.
When Ferg dives into emotional raps and acts vulnerable, it really moves me.
46. Seal- Seal.
Another album turning 30 after this year. Some good songs here, but nothing obviously touching 'Kiss from A Rose.'
45. Logic- Ultra 85.
A pretty cool concept album, even if Logic is doing too much with the skits in some areas.
44. Hammerfall- Avenge The Fallen.
One of the stronger power rock albums I've heard as of late.
43. MAX- LOVE IN STEREO.
This is gleefully endearing and heartwarming with some songs.
42. Pet Shop Boys- Furthermore.
Of the two Pet Shop Boys projects I listened to this year, I liked this EP much more.
41. Paris Paloma- Cacophony.
I think a few songs could've been trimmed, but with some decent lyricism, Paris made a really good album here.
40. Ghostface Killah- Set The Tone (Guns & Roses).
I don't like his sex jams, but I thoroughly enjoy it when he's braggadocious. The features help elevate the material too.
39. Sasha Alex Sloan- Me Again.
Her somber, soft voice works so well on this project.
38. Empress Of- For Your Consideration.
I love some of the Hispanic fusion and the Rina Sawayama feature here.
37. Conan-Gray- Found Heaven.
The synth-pop 80s tribute to icons like David Bowie is pretty incredible here.
36. Tommy Richman- COYOTE.
After the success of 'Million Dollar Baby,' Tommy Richman capitalized with follow-up songs well. My favorite track comes from 'Whitney.'
35. Rhapsody of Fire- Challenge The Wind.
A power rock metal album that tells an epic story and builds up to a battle between two brothers. Pretty fun!
34. Glass Bleach- Plastic Death.
Sometimes, the lead vocalist mumbles and moans in a way I don't like, but there's still a pretty mesmerizing sound to be found here, honestly!
33. Polo G- Hood Poet.
I never listened to much Polo G before, and this genuinely surprised and impressed me.
32. Stefflon Don- island 54.
Stefflon isn't bad a rapper, but I really like it more when she sings.
31. Finneas- For Cryin' Out Loud!
I shouldn't sleep on Billie Eilish's brother too much. He's pretty good.
30. Amy Winehouse- Back To Black.
Turning 18 years old, it's a shame that Amy Winehouse isn't around these days to deliver more powerful music.
29. Normani- Dopamine.
Strong album. Her track 'Big Boy' has been stuck in my head for months.
28. Killer Mike- Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival.
My faith doesn't run as deep as Killer Mike's, but even if it doesn't, this is still really entertaining. I like it even more than his last album.
27. Vampire Weekend- Only God Was Above Us.
A little spotty in the first half, but picks up more steam and moves me more in the second.
26. Halsey- The Great Impersonator.
I like a lot of the influence she uses throughout the album, especially Evanescence.
25. Beyonce- Cowboy Carter.
Country is my least favorite genre, but I like Beyonce. And she kills it here.
24. Rich Homie Quan- Rich In Spirit.
Rich Homie Quan was taken from this world too soon. In his honor, I listened to his only solo album from 2018. It may be a bit formulaic at times, but it really worked with him.
23. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard- Flight b741.
As an introduction to the band for me, this really makes me want to check out their earlier works.
22. Gary Clark Jr- JPEG RAW.
The infusion of soulful R&B and rock is stellar here.
21. Ab-Soul- Soul Burger.
Ab-Soul is a lyrical powerhouse
20. Evanescence- Fallen
Peak emo rock.
19. Blondie- Parallel Lines.
This power pop rock album is a classic for good reason. Peep the story in the track '11:59' among others.
18. Charli XCX- Brat.
The fluctuating tracks that alternate between her being vulnerable or being on her hot girl shit move me. One of the best pop records of the year.
17. The Offspring- SUPERCHARGED
Raw instrumentals and vocals work for me, The Offspring COOKED.
16. Deep Purple- Machine Head.
This album is the same one to supply the legendary 'Smoke on the water.' For that alone, it has to go this high.
15. Denzel Curry- King of The Mischevious South Vol 2.
Grimy, compelling, a truly fun listen by Denzel. I wish there were fewer skits on this and more room for BARS if anything.
14. Lupe Fiasco- Samurai.
The fact that Lupe supposedly does this album from the perspective of an alternative outlook of Amy Winehouse sounds like a stretch. But dammit, this man flows tremendously across this production.
13. Freddie Gibbs- You Only Die 1nce.
Gibbs' diving into relationships with women, life, or the death of young rappers is stellar.
12. IDK- Bravado + Intimo.
This one really wowed me! IDK switching between braggadocious or intimate, proving that he can sing and rap, he's a tour de force lowkey.
11. Beebadoobee- This Is How Tomorrow Moves.
The mixture of sad girl core, rock elements, and a somber tone work swimmingly for her.
10. Schoolboy Q- Blue Lips.
The high-octane energy is phenomenal here.
9. Laufey- Bewitched: The Goddess Edition.
The jazz fusion, the vocals, the love and heartbreak, ugh. Sometimes, an album just enraptures you and moves you.
8. Jay-Z- The Blueprint.
Okay, now I understand why some people would say this is his best album.
7. Benny The Butcher- Everything Can't Go.
Not his best work, and arguably, one could say it's too high. But dammit, it's MY list and Benny is my favorite Griselda member for a good reason. He does drug rap extraordinarily well.
6. LL Cool J- The Force.
I appreciate Boom Bap sound. And here it's rich, concise, and the legendary rapper performs well in the new age with the many artists with him.
5. Prince- Purple Rain.
Another iconic album that turned 40 years old in 2024! Rest in peace to the icon. Just filled with classics from 'Purple Rain' to 'Let's get crazy' to 'When Doves Cry.'
4. Steely Dan- Pretzel Logic.
Last classic album for the list I promise. Crazy three track run from 'Rikki don't lose that number' to 'night by night' to 'Any Major Dude Will Tell you.'
3. Sabrina Carpenter- Short N' Sweet.
Of all the pop girlies and the pop albums dropped, this is my fave. This is the most catchy to me.
2. Tyler, The Creator- Chromakopia.
Hasn't left the rotation. 'Like Him' is powerful. 'Thought I was Dead' makes me want to run through a wall. It gets me GOING. Would've been my AOTY if one man didn't have a spectacular 2024…
Kendrick Lamar- GNX
I can't NOT put him at my top spot. After carefully dissecting Drake, Kendrick drops an amazing, energetic, crazy, scary, spooky, hilarious album and its FANTASTIC. Pure and simple.

Incoming Text for Jessica Alba:
Hey, Jessica!
I know you're hurt, I broke your heart because I didn't add you to the Taylor Swift list of fifteen women who will own the 5% share in the company, I'm so sorry because I know you lose sleep thinking about how you have been rejected from this small group of women.
But you need to realize that you have a $200million net-worth and it's not fair to give you any wealth right now.
Zoe Saldana is poor. $60 million net-worth.
Rosario Dawson is poor too. $8 million net-worth.
Margot Robbie is poor too. $60 million net-worth.
Mila Kunis is poor too. $75 million net-worth.
Kristen Bell is poor too. $40 million net-worth.
Also, I'm in love with Taylor Swift, she doesn't count because she's my favorite girl, so she gets to do whatever she wants, I spoil her.
I hope Katy Perry is not hearing this, or is she? I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar.
Katy Perry I'm so sorry, but your rival Taylor Swift is so hot, I can't help it, okay? Taylor does something to me, her songs are so dope.
Taylor Swift is like Elvis.
Katy Perry is like The Beatles.
I love their music, not gonna lie but I'm leaning towards Taylor Swift because I want to spoil her, she is such a good girl.
Katy Perry don't cry, I will find a way to share something with you in the future, I love your songs too, don't worry.
(I was talking to Jessica Alba and I suddenly found myself in a group chat, making amends, talking about Katy & Taylor rivalry.)
Listen, Jessica Alba, I know you're going through that Notebook phase, you don't know what you want, maybe Noah or maybe that other guy, you are having a lot of anxiety like Allie in the Notebook and I don't know what to tell you, except, I'm not in love with you, there I said it.
Fictional Noah be like: "Hey, Jessica, your name is not Allie, it's Jessica, okay? I have to give you a reality check, this is not the Notebook movie, this is real life and I'm not Noah, I'm Angelo, I love Tracey. I hope I don't hurt your feelings because you are a great mother and a great wife to Cash Warren, so please switch off from that Notebook vibes you got going on, it's better to keep in touch with reality. I'm not Noah, I swear, I'm not Noah and you're not Allie."
Why don't you call Ryan Gosling, I'm sure he will help you get some reality check, ask him, he will confirm, he will tell you that Noah & Allie is a fiction, the Notebook it's not reality.
Ryan Gosling calling Nicholas Sparks:
Ryan: "Hey, Nicholas, did you know there was such a thing as the Notebook phase?"
Nicholas asks: "What is the Notebook phase?"
Ryan replies: "Glad you asked, it's the phase where a married woman sees another potential lover and starts catching that Notebook vibe just like Allie in the movie, she was confused and she didn't know what to do, should she choose Noah or that other lover, that is what we call the Notebook phase, it's a thing, they should add this to the Oxford dictonary or something, the world of Psychology will use the Notebook phase to explain what happens to choosy women."
Here is another version of this dialogue:
Ryan: "Hey, Nicholas, have you ever heard of the Notebook phase?" Nicholas: "The Notebook phase? What's that?" Ryan: "Well, it's like this: imagine a married woman finds herself drawn to someone else, feeling torn like Allie in the movie. She's caught between her current partner and this new potential love interest. That confusion, that indecision—that's the Notebook phase. It's a real thing, you know? They should include it in the Oxford Dictionary or something. Psychologists could use it to explain the dilemma faced by women in such situations."
The end of the dialogue
Why don't you hangout with Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, they will help you get over the fictional Noah.
Okay, this chat was fun.
Love you, Jessica! Have fun, big hug for you!
P.S:
I want to give you this reminder:
Don't overthink stuff:
- I never said you were not beautiful
I never said your were not hot.
I never said you're not good enough.
I never said you are evil.
I never said you're a gold digger.
I never said you're a man eater.
I never said anything to hurt your feelings, okay? Relax.
All I said is I'm taken, I have Tracey in my life, I'm loyal, it's in my nature, I think you can respect that, because I respect your relationship with Cash Warren, I never bothered you, I always respected your marriage, and I want to ask you to do the same for me.
If you were not married, I would have chased you a long time ago, but you are happily married, I never chase married women, it's not what I'm into, homie don't play that, it's just wrong to break-up a happy home.
That's all I had to say! I wish you well, hope you have a happy life.
Take care Jessica.

My dearest, I know you think sometimes that you don't deserve the good things in your life, and that you don't deserve a love like we have. God, you're so stubborn. I adore you with all of my heart, and honestly, these words are never enough to fully express my love for you. I hope you know that you're an amazing person. You give me so much light, inspiration, and life. You teach me a lot of valuable things and I really admire that about you. Don't let anything dim the light that you shine in this world. Keep on shining, my love. Life makes so much sense and more worth-living when I'm with you. With all my love, (their name)

I love this combination, especially since they both have sunflowers. And I totally felt so much warmth in my heart while writing their letter UwU
Hope you enjoyed your reading! Remember to love yourself the way you want others to love you! Any thoughts on this reading? Leave a feedback!— Ivy

Hey Princess/Prince, I understand that you're not in a pretty situation right now, you really wish you could just escape, don't you? Don't worry. Even if I'm not there with you physically in the time that you're reading this, I'm always with you in your heart and in spirit. Listen, I'm proud of you of how far you've come. And I know that you have the strength to get through this. You can do it! I wholeheartedly believe in you, babe. Just so you know, I'm your biggest cheerleader, haha. Sooo... just do it, okay? There's no need for you to be afraid. I promise that once you've overcome this, something really amazing is coming for you. And it's worth it. Mmm, I can't say for sure if this surprise is me coming in to your life, but welp, who knows? :) Love ya! - (their name)

Hope you enjoyed your reading! Remember to love yourself the way you want others to love you! Any thoughts on this reading? Leave a feedback!— Ivy

letter #5
shufflemancy: So My Darling by Rachel Chinouriri
Hi, love. You've gone through so much, life hasn't been much fair to you, to us. But no matter how hard it is, it's important for us to never give up and stay strong. But it's not easy to stay strong either. Let me give you a gentle reminder that it's ok to cry and break down when you have to, okay? It's okay to let it all out and not bottle all the negative feelings inside. And then once you've done that, you can slowly get back up, take back your strength, and have stronger faith for the future. I know you're strong, I see it in you :) You're really capable more than you think. And it also gives me strength to see your strength. Don't allow yourself to be defeated, okay? We'll get through this. And once we meet, we won't have to go through it all alone. We'll be fighting alongside together. Yours, (their name)

This past week I reached 100 followers!! I’m incredibly excited, so to celebrate I’ve decided to run a challenge!
Since everyone had a blast with the Party Rock Anthem edit series during the tlkafterparty, I've decided to base the challenge prompts on party songs. All the prompts are inspired by songs from the 2010s (with a few 2000s bangers sprinkled in).
There are 60 prompts in total, each one is a song title. I’ve broke the prompts out into four separate categories based on vibes 😎.
You don’t have to follow me to participate. The more people who join the better!!!
See below for the Rules, Deadline, and Prompts.
Rules:
You can fill out however many prompts you like! There isn’t a limit to how many you can do and there isn’t a limit to how many times a specific prompt can be filled. Feel free to also combine prompts if you want to.
Prompt fills can be edits, icons, moodboards, fics, videos or anything you come up with!
Please tag me and use the tag #aelflaeds100challenge so that I know you’ve made something.
All TLK characters and ships are welcome!
The prompts can be used in anyway.
Some examples on ways to use the prompts:
The song/title/artist reminds you of another song that’s not on the list, so you could use that other song to fill the prompt.
The song/title reminds you of another work, like a poem or a book, so you could use that other work to fill the prompt.
You could base your prompt fill on the title/song/artist only, if you want to create a moodboard the title could be the theme or if you write a fic you could incorporate the song lyrics or artist into it.
If you end up wanting to use another song I only ask that you keep it within the 2010s timeframe. If there is a specific song you would like to use and its not from the 2010s please reach out to me and we can discuss it.
Deadline:
The challenge will officially run from September 10th to December 10th, but if you can’t make it until after that deadline don’t worry!!! Submit whenever you can, the more participation the better :)
If you have any questions feel free to reach out or drop a note in my inbox!

who’s a swiftie? ouat edition
regina is the biggest swiftie of all!! (and she’s only a little embarrassed about it) the horse girl romanticism! the edgy persona! the doomed love affairs! she has at least three different playlists— one for crying that includes white horse, sad beautiful tragic, the archer, one for feeling like a bad bitch that’s mostly just songs from reputation along with blank space and the last great great american dynasty, and an emma playlist that includes peace, hoax, state of grace, haunted… dress. she had a henry playlist but it’s just her listening to never grow up on repeat while henry’s on his little motorcycle trip or when he’s at the charming’s place for the weekend
emma is NOT a swiftie! but she does have a fond nostalgia for the older country hits she remembers from the radio— our song, you belong with me, even red. but when regina makes her listen to folklore/evermore though and she stares into space for minutes seconds while seven plays. some more songs eventually grow on her. when she moves out of her parents house she listens to never grow up and has a little cry.
henry is a swiftie! he loves folklore/evermore and her more storytelling songs, and the fairytale motifs in speak now. long live is integral to his parent trap playlist, and it eventually becomes a big swan mills family song and henry loves to listen to it and mythologize their lives
snow is absolutely a swiftie! she loves the cute sappy love songs like love story, enchanted, wildest dreams, lover. she plays yntcd for emma and emma is like “greeeeeat… thaaaaaanks mom! 😬” she tells regina it’s nice to have a friend makes her think of her and regina doesn’t have the heart to tell her it’s on her emma playlist so she makes a snow playlist that spans from seven to look what you made me do to inthaf.
(regina’s snow playlist is more of a narrative while her emma playlist is more angsty love songs bc if she used a taylor swift song for every way she’s ever felt about emma that would be like. every taylor swift song lol)
david is not really a swiftie but he also likes the cute little pop songs especially the family ones like the best day, never grow up, superman
zelena likes the pop albums, 1989, reputation, bits of lover, anything fun and sexy! but everytime taylor has a feud she sides with the other person just to piss regina off (and even though regina is more invested in the music than the celebrity, it always works), katy perry, kim and kanye, karlie kloss (“who the hell cares about karlie kloss??” “she codes! she’s a girl boss!” “who the hell cares about coding??”)
hook is not a swiftie lmao, he would actually be one of those people who say things like “support group for taylor swifts exes lol” “you’re friend sends you on a blind date with taylor swift— you have one hour before she starts writing a breakup album about you” that kind of misogynistic bullshit, but if he was he would like bad blood i don’t have a reason for this i just feel it
robin has a very literal interpretation of the archer and it makes regina SO mad for reasons she refuses to explain
ruby is a low-key swiftie! she likes the songs you can dance to, her favs are red and out of the woods ofc
mulan is like a closet swiftie bc she favors the sappy, pining love songs. she doesn’t want anyone to know about her soft side!
belle isn’t like a hard core swiftie, she’s more of an autumn acoustic coffee shop playlist girl, but she likes stories and romance of course she likes folklore
rumplestiltskin is not a swiftie
#regina listens to innocent one time and it makes her so upset she sits on the bathroom floor with her head on the edge of the tub for 30 min#she never listens to it again. (she’s like this is not for people who have committed murders and curses realms! which is true but it still h#this is a very regina centric post but of course it is! she has like the most elaborate character arc every song is about her!#swan queen headcannons#i don’t want to put this in the taylor swift tag but i want this to be in myyy taylor swift tag ugh#somewhat robin and hook bashing well not bashing so much as clowning. i just don’t care to think in depth about their music tastes.#swan mills charmings#is that the tag for them?#swan queen hcs#surely that’s enough tags#text#taylor swift#music

heyhey! can i get a kin thing for BNHA, haikyuu and danganronpa please?
she/her, INFP, ambivert
personality: im very bubbly, whimsical and sweet, and i love to compliment people and hype them up whenever they need it. Probably use the word “lovely” way too much. However, despite being bubbly and talktative i very rarely open up about myself/my interests. When you really know me i’m sarcastic, and i’m usually the really dumb friend everyone makes fun of (lovingly) bc i lack common sense but ive got the spirit lmao. Always energetic and down to do ANYTHING
hobbies: dancing/listening to music. idk if you could call it working out but i regularly put on my favourite music and just dance for hours in my kitchen at nights so lmao. also journalling, reading, annotating books. SHOPPING is my no 1 hobby tho i am always shopping for smth. Also love the colour pink an unhealthy amount
emotional state: ummmmmmmm im running on adrenaline we dont talk about her
social skills: people describe me as charming and charismatic, i love talking to people and making friends but i only have a few close CLOSE friends u get me
random facts
- obsessed w taylor swift
- my music taste goes from mcr/arctic monkeys etc to taylor swift/katy perry
- i spend like 99% of life daydreaming
you remind me of..
I also thought of Ochako Uraraka and Ibuki Mioda.
Nejire Hado - she's very bubbly and whimsical, always interested in learning about other people but doesn't share much about herself. she shows her excitement towards others and compliments people often. she's pretty much the scatterbrained "dumb" friend that everyone makes fun of, albeit out of good spirit because nobody could dislike her because she's so charming. she is filled with energy and probably down to do anything. although she loves talking to others and making friends, her more polite attitude tends to be reserved for her closer friends.
Shoyo Hinata - he's very bubbly and energized, especially when it comes to talking to others. he tends to compliment others and hype them up, because he sees something admirable in everybody. he can lack common sense sometimes which causes his friends to comment on it, but he's very charming and leaves an impact on everyone, even if the first interaction was a negative one. he's definitely ready to do anything at anytime.
Aoi Asahina - she's very bubbly and sweet, always complimenting others and cheering them up if needed. she's more of an ambivert, though she likes talking to others a lot. she can be a bit forgetful and scatterbrained, leading others to comment on it. she has the spirit though, she's very energetic and down to do anything. she can be pretty emotional underneath this and although she's friendly with everyone, it's clear who her closest friends are.
