things i love about heartstopper 3/?

Following on from my last post, an incomplete list of ridiculous things that happened before Nick came out:

Nick gazing lovingly at Charlie while they’re bowling. In front of Charlie’s friends. Who don’t know they’re together.

Charlie telling Nick he has “strong rugby arms” and Nick responding “I thought you liked my arms”. In front of all Charlie’s friends. (Bonus points to Isaac for noticing and causing a distraction.)

Nick gazing lovingly at Charlie at the school concert.

Nick gazing lovingly at Charlie in front of the whole rugby team. Multiple times. (Bonus points to Darcy's gay intuition for noticing that this was "suspiciously couple-y". Zero points to Charlie for his extremely unconvincing "we're totally platonic good friends".)

Nick gazing lovingly at Charlie in form. Like all the time.

Charlie “returning Nick’s pen” in study hall and them staring at each other lovingly. (Also guys everyone in the room can hear you, it’s dead silent, what are you doing)

Nick walking up behind Charlie in form and putting his hands over Charlie’s eyes and then both of them staring lovingly at each other.

Nick yelling “Charlie” in That Voice when Charlie gets hurt in a rugby match.

Nick reaching for Charlie’s hands and saying “I need you”. In front of the whole rugby team.

Nick and Charlie making out in the changing rooms.

Nick and Charlie making out in the supply cupboard.

Nick and Charlie making out in the sports shed (this might not count since they got caught…).

Nick and Charlie holding hands while they run down a corridor in front of Tao, who doesn’t know about them yet.

Nick's crinkly little smile when Charlie has ice cream on his nose, and then Nick wiping it off and licking his fingers as though that's a totally normal and heterosexual thing to do.

The way Nick buries his face in Charlie’s neck every time they hug even if it's where people can see them.

Nick posting pictures of Charlie being frickin’ adorable on his Instagram. (“I think Nellie loves him” - yeah, dude, she’s clearly not the only one you’re not subtle)

Nick and Charlie rolling around on the ground in the woods while Nick yells that it’s his job as boyfriend to take adorable pictures of Charlie even though he’s stressing about coming out to the rugby boys at the party they’re currently at

Yeah, me neither, Darcy. Me neither…

I'm doing alright, though I wish I weren't constantly dizzy these recent times. Thanks for checking on me. I hope you're doing okay!

As I mentioned in my reply to the last ask, my favourites related to Heartstopper change all the time, so here's the snapshot answer:

My in-this-moment favourite episode of Heartstopper is the very first one, S1E1: Meet.

The Ben parts of the episode are always hard, but I absolutely adore watching Nick's nervousness and his crush on Charlie developing. (Honestly, at this point I think I could teach a Masterclass on Interpreting Nick Nelson -- in general, but especially in episode 1.) I also love watching Charlie's infatuation-at-first-sight progress and change as his friendship with Nick develops.
