Idk if anyone watched As Told By Ginger...but I cannot help but think about the episode where Dodie was going to expose those who failed their lice examinations to the entire school through the intercom. When Ginger stopped her, she tried to say that the "students had a right to know," and Ginger straight up called out that bullshit. She was humiliating people in order to feel powerful and move up the social ladder.

Why was Ginger even friends with her?

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:

Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.

The actual difference is

when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names

when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names

(also change belief)#as for how The Truth Come Out... this is what i mean by The Isabeau Torment Nexus(tm). which is that i think... isiloop should almost occur #BEFORE isabeau knows who loop is. he's just genuinely charmed by them eventually and tries to close the open end of the polycule #which FREAKS LOOP THE FUCK OUT because thats just too genuinely sick and wrong. and obviously w emotions high its not a great confrontation #ANYWAY told u i had more thoughts. if i were normal itd be a text post but.

She cherishes her new memories and won't let it stop her from moving on #inbetween this time frame she meets isobu in her mind after he gains enough form within her (who is also without memories)#Now WAY LATER she meets Sukea who looks like he's about to panic and she tries to help (which uh doesnt work too well)#but then Sukea joins her on her travels (sending minato an letter through his summons of rin being alive and forgetting the mission)#they both wander around (he doesnt know how to bring up their past) but then obito appears (always at the wrong times)#At first glance he's pissed but then realizes that this isnt fake AND its both the worse thing yet best thing to ever happen #Now Rin thinks she made two new friends who give her feelings of warmth but they both also reminded her of something old she thinks #PS Minato and Kushina are freaking out back in the village but can't do anything about it (Obito hasn't acted on his plans yet so yes)

#poorly drawn mdzs #better drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #Despite a whole ass inspiration board for reference - it turns out drawing and colouring half submerged people is a CHALLENGE.#I am channeling the zoobie bunny and internally screaming “WHY DID YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA”.#What I wanted was a cool transition between present and past! What I got was a very full mouth of my own foot!#That said: there are aspects I really like about this one and I feel like I got most of the way to where I wanted it to be.#Water is hard to draw and I am saying that even after dedicating a full 4 page comic with people in the water.#Forget hands. Water is my new nemesis.#I love how floaty this flashback transition was. The hazy mind wandering as LWJ carries him as a set up to recollection!#Aren't memories an incredible thing? To relive a moment in your mind? To have time repeat again and again?#And yet it is always a little different when we go to recall it once again. ive been thinking about taco and balloon forming a little alliance post s1/ pre s2 where they'd (begrudgingly) work together planning on how to break into hotel OJ to steal stuff to take back to their makeshift camp like food, blankets, pillows, etc,,, anything that could be useful to them

#UGH TUMBLR DIDN'T SAVE MY DRAFT R U KIDDING ME WROTE A TON #ok let me go over this again as i remember #balloon ends up encountering tacos makeshift camp wandering in the woods #i like to think balloon makes close to zero noise when he walks around #kinda floats around if u will #taco figures she could use this to get balloon to sneak into hotel oj to get her stuff #well. she tells balloon its “for the benefit of both”#balloon and taco parallel eachother in so much #both of them put up a “mask” as a strategy to further into the game which lead to both of them losing all of their relationships after s1 #although both of them eventually ended up feeling guilty for what they did it took taco much longer #i think their alliance worked decently well for a while but balloons guilt and need to apologize is what drove them apart #by the time of that one scene s2 ep7 where balloon goes up to apologize and has his conversation with oj they'd already drifted apart #i think I'll doodle some more stuff with them eventually im still waiting to my charger to come in the maaaailllll #all of this has probably already been pointed out but im having fun and they've been on my mind a lot lately #so #shrugs #im screaming into the void #ii taco #ii balloon #inanimate insanity

I may be reaching corn plate levels here but I do like thinking about the music player in Silco's office.

Silco turning The Last Drop into a nightclub coincides with the general consensus that Young Silco was one for dancing his heart out.

Yet it's hard for me to picture Present Silco having much joy left in him to dance.

But maybe some nights when the horrors are quiet enough he clicks it on and allows himself to let loose for a moment before it all gets a bit too nostalgic. Especially when dancing alone.
