What I want to happen: Sunbeam sees Frostpaw for the traumatized child she is and what a stressful conflict she's in the middle of and decides to help her through it, acting as a big sister/mentor and getting rid of any weird envy she'dhave of a child stealing Nightheart. I would also like her to stop being mean to Lightleap so the two can help this poor kid and maybe tie it into the political drama too. Like maybe Lightleap saw what happened to Reedwhisker with some shocking reveal that gives us an excuse to include Finchlight in everything. Meanwhile Nightheart gets stuck in a bush for his remaining chapters until he appreciates Sparkpelt for knce and is then forgotten about entirely

i genuinely hope we get more lightleap scenes and the plot point of her seeing what happened to reedwhisker gets dropped. it's so sad we didn't get more scenes of lightleap going "hey sunny watch this :D" and back flipping off a bridge so sunbeam can start hyperventilating.

i would love it if these four got to meet up. this ask makes me love the possibility of a rewrite/au with finchlight and lightleap as the povs instead, they had a lot of potential to me and it's kind of a shame they've just sort of been reduced to a supporting/barely mentioned cast to assist the povs. i do like lightleap and sunbeam being big sisters for frostpaw, i think that would be cute.
