Just back from pride and there was a concert and some lovely performances (unfortunately there were many I couldn’t stick around for)
But as the opening act was doing the final song, a group of Palestinian protesters barrelled up onto stage with their banners, and while all the performers held their own well for the most part and were able to finish the performance, it still knocked everyone off balance.
They then stayed onstage and interrupted the next segment to talk about Palestine and how it’s a genocide. How many of the organisations funding pride this year were supporting Israel. And while I know that’s so important and needs to be talked about, it made everyone uncomfortable. No one forgot Palestine at the parade! As far as I could see (considering I missed some of it), nearly all of the groups and floats marching had at least one Palestine flag, and many were chanting and had banners supporting Palestine. There was a lot of support for Ukraine as well, which no one is talking about as much (as far as I’ve seen) since it’s been overshadowed.
It was lashing rain. Everyone was soaked and there was little shelter or seating available, and it was taking a lot from people to stay at the celebrations in th weather, and the mood immediately dropped.
If it wasn’t for the amazing drag king who came on after they were finally ushered off giving an inspiring impromptu speech about the topic and tying it back to pride, I don’t think the choir that came on after would’ve been able to recover the mood on their own.
#the thing I’m most pissed off about is that they couldn’t even do their protest right.#the speaker wanted the rest of their protesters to get involved but literally only two of them would speak up#they interrupted the drag queens show and there was NOT that much space of the stage#and they nearly refused to get off the stage when they were done#AND they kept changing up their chants with uneven intervals and no order and I could see the sign language interpreter getting pissed over#it#queer#pride#Dublin#Ireland#pride parade#I feel like a privileged asshole for complaining but like. it just pisses me off that they think they can get on stage and completely ignore#the effort that hundreds of other people have put into supporting Palestine and protesting Israeli occupation during the parade#and most of them were still waving around their banners and signs while the show was on#it’s not like people just got to the show and stuff and forgot!!#then they had the gall to say ‘fuck cops!’ while leaving the stage#WE DONT HAVE THOSE HERE!!!#YES THE GARDAÍ SUCK BUT THEYRE NOT FUCKING COPS#ugh#anyway#happy pride everyone#happy pride 🌈

The Butcher aka Cooper With Dominant Male S/o
Authors note: This Dilf is so fine...from the new movie "Trap".
Backstory: Seems like the serial killer the butcher is a big fan of you, a famous horror and thriller writer, who just so happens to be at the concert he was attending...He can't take his eyes off of you.
My Stories are meant for the much more mature audience, 18+
The thumping beat of the concert reverberated through the venue as Cooper Adams walked alongside his daughter, Riley, navigating through the crowds and masses of overly loud fans. The flashing lights and excited murmurs of the fans around them only made his steps quicken as he held his daughters hand giving Riley a small smile as he rushed through. He wasn’t particularly interested in the music, but this concert meant the world to Riley.
Still, something more exhilarating had caught his attention tonight—something far more important than the performer they had come to see, Riley had some fun, it was his turn, finally something that was worth while.
As they neared the merchandise stands, Cooper’s heart skipped a beat when he spotted the familiar logo of his favorite author—your logo.
A large banner of your name, [Your Name], hung proudly over a stand dedicated entirely to limited-edition merch from your latest horror novels. A wave of excitement surged through him. You were his obsession, his secret desire. Not only were you a celebrated horror and thriller writer, but you embodied everything that twisted his mind into dangerous knots.
Every dark corner of his soul came alive when he thought of you, admired you, studied you, his smile suddenly widened, Riley just akwardly looked at her father, giving a tilt to her head as she observed her father, not thinking much of it.
Cooper's stomach tightened with frustration when he noticed that the signing event had already ended. A young woman at the front of the stand, practically bouncing on her feet, was showing off her signed copy of your latest release to anyone who would listen. "I can’t believe I got his autograph! He’s even more handsome in person," she squealed, the fan was dripped in head to toe of yor merch, as she just gushed, showed off, what she had got.
Cooper’s fingers twitched, clenching into fists in his jacket pockets. His jaw set tight as jealousy simmered under his skin. That woman had your attention—even for a fleeting moment. He hated the idea of anyone having a piece of you that wasn’t his.
With a nonchalant glance toward his daughter; who was now scrolling mindlessly on her phone, Cooper let his foot slide out just enough for the gushing fan to trip.
The fan-girl stumbled, her body crashing into the merch stand. She hit the edge with a sickening thud, her head knocking against the hard surface, and a thin stream of blood began to trickle down her forehead.
People gasped and rushed to her aid some yelling out for help while others urgent to fingure out what happened. but Cooper’s expression remained impassive. He leaned down toward Riley, his voice soft and controlled. "We should go," he said calmly his hand suddenly snatching a keychain of one of the killers in one of your most famous novels. "The singer’s about to start."
Riley nodded, oblivious to the chaos Cooper her father had just caused. They left the scene behind, and Cooper took a steadying breath. Hurting the girl had been easy—too easy—but the satisfaction of it didn’t last long.
His thoughts were already spiraling back to you. He couldn’t stop wondering where you might be right now. Were you still here at the concert? Were you watching the performance like any other fan? Would you even notice him? The chances of that were unlikely, you probably left already. "You okay dad?" Riley piped up finally looking up from her phone, "Yeah kiddo, just your dad being a fan..." Cooper said giving his daughter a fake smile, she just nodded. "Yeah, I'm so excited to hear 'The Crow' singing, obviously he's not as good as Lady Raven but, he's my second fav." Riley had gushed with a big smile on her face. --- --- Meanwhile, seated in the far rows of the concert hall, you leaned back in your chair, trying to stay out of sight. A few fans had already recognized you and asked for autographs, but now your focus was on the performance. The lights on stage dimmed, and the crowd roared in excitement as The Crow was about to appear. You had come here as a brief escape from your writing, but a part of you enjoyed watching the excitement build, the way the energy of a crowd swelled in anticipation.
As the first chords of the music played, you felt the eyes of onlookers on you. Some discreet, others more obvious, but nothing that grabbed your attention for long—
Cooper Adams, accompanied by his daughter, found his seat a few rows away from you. But something in the way he carried himself caught your attention. You had no idea that this unassuming suburban dad, who appeared so attentive to his daughter, was secretly one of your biggest fans and a very famous murderer. Or that beneath that calm, composed exterior, Cooper’s mind was swirling with fantasies—dangerous, obsessive fantasies.
As his gaze swept the crowd, his eyes landed on you, and for a moment, the world seemed to narrow down to just the two of you. The flashing lights, the noise of the concert, even his daughter—it all faded as Cooper’s breath caught in his throat. You were still here. He hadn’t missed his chance after all.
His chest tightened, his heart pounding as thoughts of submission briefly flickered in his mind. Cooper clenched his jaw, pushing those thoughts away. No, he thought, mentally berating himself. He wasn’t weak. He wasn’t some needy fool, desperate for your attention—except he was ready to kneel down open his mouth and!!---. His hands trembled as he tried to keep his composure, but every part of him ached to be noticed by you. He wanted you to see him, to acknowledge him, maybe even more than that.
'Control yourself', Cooper, he chastised in his mind. 'You’re not the kind of man to submit. You're the one in charge, the one who dominates.' Yet no matter how much he tried to convince himself, the thoughts of giving in to you—of letting you have power over him—kept creeping in, no matter how much he hated it. He stood next to his daughter, Riley, who was singing, jumping, dancing along to the music, lost in the excitement of the moment.
But Cooper’s mind wasn’t on the singer or the performance. It was on you—the man sitting just a few rows away, your sharp, smoky eyes fixed on the stage, oblivious to the man obsessing over you, a few feet from you. Cooper couldn’t help but stare. His heart hammered in his chest, and a thrill coursed through his veins as he took you in. The famous horror and thriller writer, [Your Name], in the flesh—right there. Every twisted story you’d ever written had fueled his darkest desires fuck he even jerked off to a few, and now you were close enough that he could almost reach out and touch you. He drank in every detail of you: the way you sat, the confident set of your jaw, the subtle intensity in your expression as you watched the concert.
And then, it happened. Your eyes shifted, tilting just slightly in his direction, as though you could feel his gaze drilling into you. Cooper’s breath hitched in his throat when your sharp eyes locked with his. For a brief moment, the world seemed to freeze around him. You were staring right back at him.
His pulse quickened, a hot surge of excitement coursing through him as a tightening sensation began to build in his pants. There was something primal, predatory, about the way your gaze lingered on him, as if you were sizing him up. It sent a shiver down his spine, a thrill he hadn’t felt in ages (Course he would feel some type of feeling with his kills but none like this). He could barely contain the flood of emotions rushing through him—admiration, obsession, lust.
He shifted his attention briefly to Riley, who was still lost in the performance, her attention fully on the stage. Cooper cleared his throat, forcing his voice to remain casual. “I’ll be back in a minute, sweetheart,” he said, a little too quickly.
Riley waved him off without a second glance, too absorbed in the music to care as she went back to dancing and jumpin.
This was the opening Cooper had been waiting for. He smoothed his jacket, trying to appear composed, but the surge of adrenaline racing through him told a different story. 'This is it,' he thought, 'I’m going to meet him.' Stretching lips into a smile. As Cooper made his way through the crowd, each step felt heavier, the weight of the moment pressing down on him. His mind raced with conflicting thoughts. A part of him felt ridiculous—'What am I doing?'—but the other part, the darker side, was elated. This was his chance. His fantasies about you had been building for years, and now, finally, he was going to be face to face with the man who consumed his every waking thought.
When he finally stood before you, his breath hitched again. Up close, you were even more striking—confident, aloof, as if you were completely aware of the effect you had on others but didn’t care.
You looked at him, amusement flickering across your face, your sharp gaze studying him like you were dissecting a character in one of your novels.
“Big fan, huh?” Your voice was smooth, low, teasing. It sent a jolt through Cooper, making him feel exposed, vulnerable, and that made him hate the feeling. But at the same time, he wanted more of it. He clenched his fists at his sides, trying to suppress the sudden urge to submit—to give in to the pull you had over him.
“I—yeah,” Cooper stammered, feeling heat creep up his neck as he spoke. He cleared his throat, trying to recover. “I’ve been following your work for years.”
You raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of your lips. “Oh? For years?” You leaned back in your seat, eyeing him up and down, your gaze lingering on his well-built frame. Cooper could feel your eyes raking over him, and for a moment, he felt like he was one of your characters—trapped under the scrutiny of a killer, waiting for his fate. He shifted on his feet, the thrill mixing with a tinge of nervousness.
“You don’t strike me as a horror fan,” you continued, your tone teasing, like you were already playing a game Cooper didn’t fully understand yet. “Most dads like you are into, I don’t know, football or action movies.” Your gaze lingered a little too long on his broad chest and strong arms, making it clear you noticed his physique. “But you… you’re different, aren’t you?” The husky voice of your whispered into his ear, as it was really hard to hear over all the fans screaming.
Cooper swallowed hard, his mouth suddenly dry. The way you spoke, the way you looked at him—it was making it difficult for him to think straight. His mind flashed with images of giving in, of submitting to you, of being at your mercy, but he quickly shoved those thoughts away. 'No,' he told himself. 'You’re in control, Cooper.'
But that didn’t stop his pulse from quickening, or the heat spreading through his body as he stood before you, trying to come up with something, anything, to say that wouldn’t make him sound like a complete fool.
“I’ve always appreciated the darker side of things,” Cooper finally managed, his voice steadier now. “Your work—it resonates with me.” He said his body slightly leaning to also whisper into your ear. His eyes flicked down briefly before meeting yours again, the primal intensity in your gaze still making his heart race.
You chuckled softly, leaning in slightly. “Is that so? Well, let’s hope you don’t resonate too much with the killers in my stories.” The teasing edge in your voice was unmistakable, but there was something more behind it—something intrigued. You could tell this wasn’t just another fan. There was something off about Cooper, something familiar, though you couldn’t quite put your finger on it yet.
Cooper felt a surge of both excitement and unease. He was standing in front of the man who had unknowingly shaped his darkest fantasies, and now he was being teased by him. It was everything Cooper had ever wanted, and yet it was terrifying. His thoughts began to spiral again—submissive urges flickering at the edges of his mind—but he quickly shoved them aside. He wasn’t weak. He wasn’t here to submit.
But the way you looked at him… God, it made him question everything. fuck, he's getting hard again.

(thank you to @spinitback @birdycage @strands-of-starlight and @flowers-all-around-me for showing interest 💖)
so, imagine Piers and Leon, childhood friends, both in Raccoon City for their first day. that's all you need to know lol. here's the snippet I had to delete from the actual fic;
--
“What the hell is that!?” Piers asked for what felt like the millionth time that night, staring up at the big banner welcoming them into the precinct. There were balloons and confetti, and suddenly Piers was gripped with the entirely inappropriate urge to laugh. He tried to hold it back, he really did, to the best of his ability, but the stress of the night bubbled over and it forced its way out.
So he burst out laughing.
“What’s wrong with you!?” Leon asked, honestly confused, before he noticed the banner and the balloons that Piers was vaguely waving towards. “Oh,” he only said, nodding a little as understanding dawned on him. He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, if he was being honest with himself. All of those people that had been willing to welcome them here were now dead. They were supposed to be laughing and joking together in the welcome-party but instead they were roaming the building or lying somewhere after getting a bullet in their brain.
Then again, it did look like a goddamn wedding reception if anything, with both their names pinned up on the ceiling and the black and white balloons surrounding the letters.
So in one quick movement he grabbed Piers’ waist and pulled him closer. It was a clear sign of how out of it Piers was that he was taken completely by surprise, and Leon managed to theatrically dip him down into a forty-five degree angle. He tried to be mindful of the hurt knee, knowing that despite them fixing it up the best they could it still was sore and made Piers limp a little. “Want to give me this dance?” he asked, with his best suave voice, but all he got for his troubles was an impatient groan and a nudge to his shoulder.
“C’mon,” Piers huffed, but he couldn’t hold back the snort of laughter that burst from him. “We’re surrounded by death and destruction. Doesn’t exactly make for the most romantic setting.”
With a disappointed sigh that was only half-faked Leon let Piers stand on his own two feet again. He stayed close, though, kept his arm around Piers’ waist instead of letting go of him immediately. The weird burst of amusement was fading, leaving them both standing there feeling melancholy, and after a while Leon took a deep breath to steel himself. “I want to take you out, though,” he said. “If we make it out of here alive.”
“Hey,” Piers said as softly as he could. He brought a hand to Leon’s cheek and made him turn his head, until they were looking straight at each other. “We will. We make a pretty good team.”
“Yeah, we do,” Leon agreed, and as sad and small as his smile was, it was at least genuine.
#nivannedy#my fics#just a lil one but still#my nivannedy fics#i thought it was cute lol#but it really doesn't fit the timeline anymore 😅

*Tardis Noises* | S.R Oneshot
Spin-Off Oneshot of my main series: Doing Time
Hana gets roped into going to comic con, but at least she has good company
After the team was given a whole week to recuperate after a particularly challenging case. Penelope had spontaneously asked Hana to come with to a ‘science convention’, but this wasn’t what she had in mind. As it turns out Penelope had neglected the ‘fiction’ part of a Sci-Fi shows convention. So here Hana stood outside waiting to enter the convention centre, standing next to Penelope and Spencer who were both dressed in Doctor Who related costumes.
Unaware of the dress up plan, Hana was dressed a simple red shirt and black jeans combo. The leather jacket draped across her shoulders protected her skin from the intense solar rays.
“Is it always this crowded?” She asked Spencer, knowing he’d have the answers she was looking for.
“Well statistically, New York Comic Con takes around two hundred thousand attendees a year.” He began to explain, “So yeah I guess you could say it’s always this crowded.”
“Great.” Hana sighed already feeling slightly claustrophobic as the line continued moving. She suddenly stumbled forward slightly when the group behind her got too excited and knocked into her accidentally, but was thankfully caught by Spencer. She uttered a small thanks as the doctor kept his hand firmly on the small of her back, pushing her in front of him.
“You okay sweetie?” Penelope asked, turning around at the commotion.
“Yeah don’t worry,” she waved her friend off, “It was just an accident and Spencer caught me before I fell on my face.”
The lovable blonde smiled brightly at her friend’s assurance, “Good, I’m so excited there’s so many places I want to check out.”
Hana listened intently as her two friends talked animatedly about all the different features of the convention they were most excited to see. While she didn’t understand half of the stuff they were taking about, she was just happy to see them happy too. Security was relatively easy process, especially since Penelope had strictly advised Hana not to bring her firearm. She had still brought her official badge though just in case, which raised some eyebrows from the older man that had checked her small bag of belongings.
When the trio were finally able to make their way into the main hall Hana was blown away at the grandiose nature of this event. Banners hung from basically anywhere you could hang a banner, dozens of signs directed people around the entire building of which the event was held, and the crowds were giant.
Despite her friend’s excited and easy going attitude, Hana was still tense. There was so much happening around her, so many sounds, smells and sights. For someone trained to be aware of everyone around her and spending so long with the BAU it was difficult to relax.
“So where are we going first?” She asked, before Spencer grabbed her hand to keep her close.
“Penelope wants to check out all the stalls in the artists alley.” He explained as he led her forward.
“What’s that?”
“Oh, it’s where independent artists have small stalls set up to sell different things they’ve made whether it’s paintings or knit work.” He explained without any signs of annoyance at her lack of knowledge, “Maybe you’ll find something cool too.”
Spencer, as always, was right. At a stall tucked in the corner of the artists alley Hana found a stunning painting depicting one of her favourite movies she’d watched as a kid.
“You watched Friday the thirteenth at five years old?” Spencer asked in amusement, after the young agent had explained her interest in the portrait of Jason Voorhees.
“Yeah!” She stated, still walking hand in hand, “I mean there wasn’t much else to do in the middle of the woods, so I convinced Grisha to buy a dvd player.”
“So you like horror?” He asked, making sure Hana didn’t get too focused on her past.
“Oh I love horror especially the supernatural stuff.” Spencer noticed her eyes sparkled when she was excited. “I mean have you haven’t lived until you’ve had a horror movie binge on halloween.”
“I agree.” He nodded as he spoke, before pointing with his free hand to where Penelope stood excitedly talking with one the artists at their stall. “We should catch up her before she disappears.”
She smirked slightly before replying, “I know someone would not be happy if we lost his ‘Baby Girl’”.
Spencer laughed loudly at Hana’s quip his eyes crinkling at the edges as he smiled widely. Her smirked morphed into a smile, watching his reaction.
As the pair approached their friend, Penelope turned around and waved them over enthusiastically. While both began to increase their pace, Spencer 6’1 height compared to Hana’s 5’2 meant that she ended up being dragged behind him. They had almost made their way over to the brightly dressed blonde, when Hana stopped suddenly causing Spencer to also stop and looked back towards the dark haired woman.
She’d stopped in front an artist’s stall two down from the one Penelope was in front of, most notably Hana was staring in awe at a hand knitted plush of a fruit bat. Like with the Jason painting, Spencer noticed that her sparkled with joy as she let go of his hand to picked the plush. He could tell how much she wanted it.
So, he asked the artist the price and pulled the right amount of notes from his wallet. Hana then looked up to asked the seller the price, earning a simple reply of, “He already bought.” As they pointed at Spencer.
“You bought this for me?” Hana asked as she held the little bat close to her chest with her right arm.
“Consider it a birthday present.” He shrugged before taking her free hand again and leading her over to Penelope, who was still waiting.
“You do know my birthday isn’t for another four months right?”
“I know.”
“You know what?” Penelope asked as she met the pair half-way
“Penn look what Spence bought me!” The younger agent explained as she showed her friend the adorable bat plush.
“Oh my god that is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.” Penelope squealed as she looked at the plush, “Usually I think bats are icky and weird but this is really cute.”
“What did you call us over for?”
“Yes I forgot,” She began as she dug three small things from her purse, “I bought us matching keyrings”
“Is that the-“ Spencer began asked as Penelope handed them one each.
“Tardis?” She finished his sentence before continuing, “Yep it sure is and if you press it makes the noise.”
Hana scrunched her nose in confusion, “The noise?”
As if to showcase it, Spencer pressed the button on his keyring and Hana looked one in surprise as it began to make a strange whirring noise and lit up. She let out a simple “huh” in reply before gently placing the keyring in her small bag.
The trio spent the rest of the day touring the entire exhibition hall, Hana was still amazed at the sheer scale of this event in front of her. There was even a promotional stall for a game Hana had never heard of, but it had a virtual shooting range so Hana was naturally drawn to it. She also enjoyed the shock and applause she received from the people around her when she achieved a perfect score.
All in all, it was a perfect but tiring day. They’d stayed until latest as possible, which it was already slightly dark when they made their way to the Uber that would take them back to hotel they’d booked for the weekend. Sliding in second, she found herself sandwiched between Spencer and Penelope, and despite her best efforts her eyes grew heavy and she soon found herself asleep.
With her eyes closed, Hana missed the soft smile from Spencer as her head slip to fall on his shoulder. He didn’t move for the entire journey back.

Knockout
Pairing: steddie x fighter! reader
Mentions: violence, blood, fighting, cursing, fluff?
Steve and Eddie didn’t know what to expect when you invited them to an MMA match, maybe that you were there to support a friend or maybe that you had a favorite fighter, sure as hell not expecting your face to be plastered over banners and posters while fans screamed and called for you holding up signs with your name on them
Steve and Eddie shared a look of surprise when your manager rushed up them and ushered them towards the front row where they had set up a personal section for them “since when have they been a fighter” Steve questions as he looks around for any sign of you “no clue Stevie I’m as lost as you” Eddie answers looking over the flier for who you’d be fighting
When the lights dimmed and your favorite song began to play they turned towards the tunnel where you walked out waving to your fans and signing a few autographs. Steve and Eddie would be lying if they didn’t this you looked hot as hell with the way your face looked stern and your eyes were hard.
When you stopped in front of them you were all smiles nothing like the person that walked into the stadium “I’m so glad you came” you lean down giving each of them a soft kiss “keep your eyes on me tonight” you purr before putting in your mouth guard and turning and climbing into the cage.
Steve and Eddie snapped out of the lovesick haze they were in when they see your opponent walking in from an opposite tunnel, the man was huge, his muscles were bulging, and his face was hard. They couldn’t help but worry about your well being not knowing you were known for taking down opponents 10 times fr his guys size.
You and your opponent circled each other as your opponent spit the most vile insults you had ever heard causing your blood to boil, it wasn’t until he spit on Eddie and Steve that you saw red. Immediately your on him using your agility to your advantage getting in a few hard punches as well as some knees to the gut at any moment you can. You looked up at the buzzer noticing it’s times to take your opponent out having given enough of a show that your manager and PR team would be happy. When you took him down you used the cage to your advantage taking down your opponent with ease.
The crowd roars as you reign victorious holding up the championship belt, Steve and Eddie cheered the loudest still shocked by how easy you took down your opponent even though he was 10 times your size.
When you step out of the ring, Steve and Eddie run to you pulling you into a tight hug not caring about the blood or sweat sticking to your skin “that was so fucking awesome baby” Steve cheers pressing a rough kiss to your forehead “and hot too” Eddie adds squeezing you in his arms giving you a passionate kiss.
When you reached your dressing room you were bombarded with questions from the two of them all of them along the lines of ‘when did you learn to fight?‘ and ‘why didn’t you tell us?’. You were squished between the two men on the small bench “well I learned in soft-more year of high school when I found out Jason beat the shit out of Eddie” Eddie looked surprised at the revelation you just shrug “why do you think Jason stopped bullying you until after I graduated? It’s because he knew I’d whoop his ass” you giggle then turn to Steve “and the reason I didn’t tell you two is because I worried you’d want me to quit” Steve blinked rapidly then sighed “at first Eddie and I were worried, but seeing how you handled yourself out there maybe we should’ve been more worried about the other guy” he teases as him and Eddie wrap you up in their arms and smother you with kisses.
After that they were at every match no matter how big or small they were like your personal cheerleaders constantly shouting praises and telling you to kick the guys ass, always booing when your opponent gets in a few cheap shots screaming at the ref. only to immediately cheer when you KO your opponent or at least beat them so bad they can’t get up. Then they immediately take you in their arms when you step out of the ring shouting about how hot you were and how badass your fight was, and you couldn’t be happier to have your boyfriends at every match constantly dedicating the reason you do this to them.

don't watch me cry | kth
pairing: gggb!couple, kim taehyung x female reader
summary: taehyung’s had a rough night.
genre: angst, fluff, comfort, flashbacks, taehyung is hurt :(
warnings: graphic depictions of an injury, childhood trauma, talks of taehyung’s ex-girlfriend, abandonment issues (parents and significant others), insecurities, taehyung cries :(
word count: 4k
author’s note: hello! i just finished watching like three dramas in a row and was feeling the need to write so i wrote and finished a bunch of drabbles! this is one of them :) hopefully you enjoy it! pls let me know what you think! thank you for reading (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)
banner pic cred here!
taehyung is infamously known for his shrug. his shameless shrug. it’s the only answer he’d give to people and most of the time, it tells them all he needs to say anyways. but that’s the most taehyung would ever show. you’ve never seen him show any sign of vulnerability.
that was until you saw him on your night out with nayeon and seolhyun. it was just supposed to be a regular night of dancing and drinking, then eating something to sober up. just like your regular friday nights ever since you ended your deal with taehyung. ever since that night you slept with each other, things were good. every now and then you caught yourself making out with taehyung in his car after class, sometimes you’d even find yourself crying (from pleasure) in his bed. but other than that, the two of you were good friends. you talk to him like he’s a best friend. informing him on all the gossip that junghwa tells you and he pretty much does the same, telling you all the drama he hears from jimin.
it’s never gotten deeper than that.
“oh! isn’t that taehyung?” nayeon asks, pointing to the familiar silhouette sitting at the table in front of a convenience store. “go say hi!” she whispers loudly into your ear. poking you in the side when you hesitate to say something. “hey, taehyung!” she shouts when you spend another second unable to form words in order to greet taehyung.
he turns around, spotting the three of you and giving you all a wave. when you catch a glimpse of his face, you realize that it’s not his usual flat face that he’s sporting, it’s something you’ve never seen on taehyung. a frown. it’s hard to believe especially since he’s 50% mean and then 50% intimidating— but a frown wasn’t a part of his daily facial expression rotation.
“i have to talk to taehyung about something,” you tell the girls. you sense that something is wrong, it’s that gut feeling you always have. “you guys can make it back without me, right?”
they nod, seolhyun takes out her phone and points to it. “we’ll call you when we get there!”
you wave bye to them, letting them walk on without you while you approach taehyung. silently, you think of what you could say— if he was really upset, then how could you comfort him? take him for ice cream like that time he comforted you? or maybe you can just sit and listen to what he has to say?
“are you okay, taehyung?” you ask from behind him, slightly startling him. he turns to look at you, but he doesn’t reply, only turning back around. he nods in response to your question, while still only looking down at his phone in front of him. you sit down next to him, staring at him for a second. you can barely see his face, it’s covered by his hair and the big puffer jacket that he’s wearing goes all the way up to his neck. the most you can see is his nose, lips, and cheeks.
he knows you’re looking at him. he knows that you don’t mean to annoy him or anything, but he’s just too upset. he’s got a lot of things running around in his head. he doesn’t know how to tell you that he doesn’t want to talk without sounding mean. so he just sighs, telling you the truth. “sorry, ___, i’m just not in the mood to talk.“
“that’s fine,” you nod, understanding. “can i just sit with you? or do you want to be alone?”
he’s silent for a second. alone, huh. “no—” he shakes his head, then lets it hang in defeat. “no, i don’t want to be alone.”
“okay.” you reply, sitting on your cold hands.
looking around, you try to stay quiet as taehyung wished but you were… incredibly bored. coming down from a drunken state made you crave some ice cream as well. ice cream would be amazing right now. taehyung comforted you once with the frozen snack, maybe it’s time you pay him back. “do you want some ice cream?” you asked, pointing to the convenience store.
“sure,” he nods. his voice comes out shakier than he wanted, but he doesn’t think you notice as you happily skip-walk into the convenience store.
you don’t know it, but you staying with him right now means the world to him.
from a young age, taehyung’s done everything by himself. his parents left him alone most of the time (usually to focus on other things like work) so he tried to find ways to occupy himself without having to bother them. he was good in school, liked making friends, and was an all-around great kid. it just sucked not having present parents to tell him he was doing a good job.
“mom!” taehyung called out, the echo makes the house feel even emptier. “dad?” he looked around, peering into the rooms that were dark and deserted. the longer he walked, the lonelier he felt. that’s when he sees the note on the dinner table. he places his honor roll certificate next to the note.
taehyung,
we’ll be on a work trip for the week
there’s food in the fridge and money in the cookie jar
make sure that all the lights and appliances are off when you go to sleep
or you can sleep over at a friend's house!
when he grew up, he made friends, got a job, moved out, kept himself busy, and then just ended up… never really talking to his parents. when he was going through the toughest times in his life, he didn’t have that parental figure to talk to. how was he going to approach them? what was he going to say? he could never get the words out. then to make matters worse, taehyung already thought that he was relying on his friends too much. so he just kept those overwhelming thoughts to himself. negative emotions are hard to talk about. he just never wanted to bother anyone.
that leads to her. the person that made him believe that keeping his negative emotions quiet was a good thing. that no one wanted to hear about it. that no one was going to want to be around him if he felt that way. he really hates how much she’s affected him. it’s been almost four years at this point, but he never knew how much her words could fill his brain with more of these negative thoughts.
daisy, his ex-girlfriend. they met in high school and were labeled ‘perfect’ by their friends— always together, never fought, lasted long enough to label it a serious relationship, and everyone predicted that they’d get married. they were the highschool sweethearts.
every relationship has its problems though. the problem with theirs was that they never spoke about their problems. daisy hated awkward situations and tension, she avoided problems at all costs. in order to make sure things were always perfect, taehyung learned that he’d have to ignore everything bad. an argument? they’d ignore each other for a few days and then when they both feel okay, they’d act like nothing ever happened. one of them forgot an important date? they’d go on with their day without saying a thing. if taehyung had a lot on his mind and wanted to talk about it? daisy wouldn’t listen.
every bad feeling he had, he kept inside. he’d talk to his friends about it sometimes, but just not to the one person that he gave his heart to. the person that he wanted to spill his guts to.
“you’re usually not like this, tae.” she said, knitting her brows together and crossing her arms as she stared down at him.
it was the day before graduation, taehyung was feeling really down. he was about to earn his diploma and transition into a new period of his life. but his parents didn’t even care. he talked to them about the ceremony and everything, but they said they couldn’t be there for the entire thing. at first, he didn’t care— but then he started thinking. about how his parents were never there for him any other time, and about how they’re probably never going to change. that’s what made him upset beyond words. that he could never make his parents care for him if they just… don’t.
he was already close to tears. clutching the material of his jeans in his fist. trying his best to hold them in so that she wouldn’t have to see him like that. she hated when people cried in front of her.
“i just need you to listen to me,” his voice shook as he tried to speak up. “i don’t want to break up, i’m sorry i’ve been acting weird lately, but i have an explanation.”
“i don’t really care to hear it.” she admitted to him. “i don’t want to be with you anymore.”
“what? why?” he can’t hold the tears in any longer. they stream down his face as she stares down at him in disgust. he’s never felt more pathetic than he did then.
“you’re not the same as you were when we met.” she shrugs, “it just isn’t fun anymore.”
he was silent for a second, thinking through what she just said. “you’re just gonna leave because it’s not fun anymore? what? you don’t love me anymore because it’s not fun?” taehyung huffed in disbelief.
she shrugs. “i can’t love someone that acts like this.”
those words ring through his head every now and then, whenever he’s feeling vulnerable. even when he’s alone, with no one there to see him cry. taehyung learned to hold in his emotions, to deny his tears from ever coming out. to be intimidating so that people wouldn’t approach him. to be cold so that he could distance himself away before things got serious. he swore off relationships after her. the temporary bliss wasn’t worth the immense pain he felt after. how he wasn’t able to resolve all the things he kept inside because she just left. no closure, nothing. he found that keeping himself busy with hookups and parties was great for the past three years. but now, there’s you. that makes it complicated.
he wonders what you think of him. what you want him to be like. do you want him to be tough like she did?
“here.” you hold the cone out for him, breaking him out of his thoughts. he looks up at you and then at the cone, reaching out for it. it’s then that you see his busted hand. bloody and bruised, the dark red blood already starting to dry against his skin. you try to hide the way that you gasp, but it wasn’t much of an effort. “what happened, taehyung?!”
he takes the ice cream cone from your hand, gently brushing your fingers with his. “got into a fight.” he answers simply before he starts to eat the ice cream.
“with who?” you questioned, sitting back down next to him.
he shrugs, “some guy.”
you study his face now since you’re able to see him now. he looks normal, his lips are still pink and they aren’t bruised nor split open. there are no physical signs of injury on his face. as for the rest of his body, you couldn’t tell since he was bundled up for the cold night.
“well, are you okay?” you wrap your fingers around his forearm to gently pull it close to you. moving around the ice cream cone and inspecting the wounds that wrap around his knuckles.
“i’m fine,” he chuckles. “you should see the other guy,” he tells you with a small smile.
you rolled your eyes, still holding his injured hand in yours carefully. like it would shatter if you moved too fast. “i’m being serious, taehyung.”
he switches hands so that he could hold his ice cream in his left while you continue to inspect his right. “i’m serious,” he looks you in the eye. you can see them peeking through his bangs, “i’m okay.”
you don’t believe him, of course, it has to hurt because of how busted it is. you could tell that the wound was a few hours old. has he been out here for that long? you pull out your phone to check the time, it’s almost 2 in the morning.
“did you walk here?” you asked, looking around the area. realizing that it’s close to where taehyung’s apartment is, you remember passing by this convenience store whenever you would go to see him.
he nods, biting into the cone. “i went on a walk to clear my head.”
“and you ended up getting into a fight?” you laughed.
he lets out a little laugh as well. “yeah, i didn’t like the way the guy was looking at me.”
“you think you’re so tough.” you scrunch your nose, standing up and pulling him up with you. “let’s go, it’s cold and my butt is freezing on this bench.”
taehyung’s quiet as he follows you, leading the way to his humble abode because you know the way from here. your hand holds his left hand, the one that isn’t injured. he watches as you try to warm up by holding your other arm close to your body, trying to conserve your warmth. he was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t even realize what you were wearing, forgetting that you just came from clubbing. a short dress with long sleeves but thin material, you must be freezing.
he stops in the middle of the sidewalk, halfway to his apartment and drops your hand. you turn to ask what’s wrong but then he holds his almost-finished ice cream cone up to your face and tells you, “hold this.”
you take hold of his ice cream cone and stand confused as to what he’s doing until he starts taking his big brown puffer jacket off. holding it out for you to trade with his ice cream cone.
“it’s okay, your apartment is just over there— i can handle it.” you deny the jacket, trying to make sure he’s warm but he doesn’t listen to you.
“it’s cold.” he says, “just take it.” he places the jacket over your shoulders since you weren’t going to take it voluntarily.
you didn’t want to blush but you were sure your face was already red from how cold it was outside. “thank you,” you mumbled as he moved next to you, taking your hand in his uninjured one. he tells himself that it’s just to make sure you don’t get kidnapped, but in reality, he just likes holding your hand.
the two of you walk in tandem towards his apartment building. shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. you talk about how your time at the club was while taehyung listens, your voice easing him on this lonely night. the tension in his chest begins to fade. the longer he stays with you, the less his chest feels like collapsing in on itself.
seolhyun and nayeon called as soon as you stepped into the lobby of taehyung’s building. you told the two of them goodnight before hanging up and walking a little faster to catch up with taehyung who’s already standing at his front door. he turns the door handle to his apartment and lets you in first, the warmth of his apartment welcoming you in and he follows quickly behind. you shed the jacket he gave you and place it into his coat closet. taehyung was shedding the contents of his pockets onto the kitchen island when you caught his forearm, pulling him gently into his bathroom.
it was obvious to you that taehyung didn’t want to talk about whatever was bothering him, so instead of asking your rapid fire questions— you decided to just keep your curiosity to yourself. sifting through the cabinet under his sink to find the bandages and rubbing alcohol.
placing the first aid on the bathroom counter, you tell him to stand next to you, “we have to wash it off with water first.” when you look at his face, he’s still got that frown on his lips. accompanied with a blank stare. you’ve never seen taehyung seem so down. whatever’s on his mind must be weighing him down heavily. maybe it would be better if you talked about something else. you try to think of a funny story as you turn on the tap.
he stands next to you, placing his hand under the running water. the water turns a light pink as it flows down the drain.
“you know, when i was younger, i used to get hurt every other day.” you laughed to yourself. gently, you clean off the stuck-on dried blood that’s between his fingers, the dried chunks also going down the drain. “i was a big outdoorsy kid, i was out playing in the dirt until the sun went down, and sometimes i’d come home with bruises and cuts that i didn’t even know i got.” you pull his hand out from under the water and dry it with a paper towel, gently dabbing around the big gash on his knuckle. his formerly bloodied hand is a lot cleaner now than it was when you first saw it. “my mom had to take me to the emergency room once because i ate so much dirt,” you finished the story with a chuckle.
as much as he wanted to laugh, he could only give you a weak smile. because he thought about his parents. about how they wouldn’t even care if he came home hurt.
you sat him down on the toilet seat and brought the first aid with you. in front of him, you sit down on the bath mat and just between his legs. “and sadly, i don’t think i’ve grown out of my clumsy phase.” you keep talking as you take a gauze and soak it with the rubbing alcohol. “look,” you hold your bandaged elbow up. “i fell off my bed yesterday and fucked up my elbow.”
that makes taehyung laugh a little bit. bringing his hand up to gently run his thumb over your bandage. “it doesn’t hurt anymore?” he asks, just a bit of worry washing over him.
you snorted, shaking your head. “not anymore.” you bring the alcohol soaked gauze to float just above his wound. you warn him, “this will probably sting a little.”
he doesn’t even bat an eye. you pat the gauze over his wound and he doesn’t even flinch. but just as you were going to throw away the gauze, your eyes flicker up to his face to see his eyes filled with tears. it wasn’t because it stings, but because he’s never had someone care for him like this. he’s always done this himself. now you’re sitting in front of him, with all the warmth of your heart and your hands on his as you clean up the mess he made.
quickly throwing the gauze in the trash, you try to look in his eyes— to check if you were seeing things. but nope, there were definitely tears brimming his lashline. “i’m sorry!” you panic. “does it hurt that bad?” you asked, blowing onto the wound to try and make it feel better. you didn’t even know if it worked, but your mom used to do it all the time. it made you feel better, so maybe it would help him.
it seems to work, he cracks a little smile as he shakes his head. “no— no,” he assures with a chuckle. but the way the tears began to stream down his face, you knew that even if it wasn’t the burning from the alcohol— something else had to have hurt. “sorry, i just have a lot on my mind,” he explains, wiping his tears on his shoulder.
“it’s okay,” you tell him. scooting yourself closer to him. your head leans on his knee when you ask, “do you want to talk about it?”
when his eyes meet yours, he sees how genuine you’re being. the way your eyes search for any answers that he isn’t saying out loud. the way you’ve dug yourself into him makes him want to spill everything to you. he remembers feeling like this once. he remembers how terrible it went.
but it’s you. he repeats it over and over in his head. it’s you.
“i just…” he starts, sighing and looking away from you for a second. a moment passes and he looks back to you, patiently waiting for him to say anything.
there’s no reason for him to hide from you. the girl who tells him embarrassing stories about herself to make him feel better. the girl that cried in his car because the guy she liked turned out to be an asshole. the girl that’s with him right now, making sure that he didn’t feel alone. so he bites the inside of his cheek. “i’ve got family problems, y’know— then that stupid asshole made my night worse when i was out for my walk.”
“is everything okay with your family?” you sat up straight, a worried expression painted on your face.
he’s quiet, unsure about what to say. he’s not even sure if he’s ready to talk about it out loud anyway. but that’s fine. the long pause tells you all you need to know.
“you can tell me about it when you’re ready, okay?” you squeeze his uninjured hand gently. grabbing the bandages and wrapping it around his knuckles. “now what about this asshole that did this to your hand, huh?” you asked, smiling up at him.
he returns the smile, the corner of his lip upturns. “he said something stupid and i threw a sucker punch at him.”
“really?” you snorted. finishing the wrap around his fist and placing his hand back onto his lap.
he nodded, another round of tears coming out and running down his face. you just sit quietly, watching as taehyung reveals a whole new side of him you’ve never seen. a side of him that you’re sure most people haven’t seen of him. you want to wipe the tears away, but you’re not sure if you guys are there yet. just sitting here and listening to him is enough. you don’t want to push too far. so you just sit and let him cry it out.
he laughs at the way that you’re just sitting and staring at him. “don’t watch me cry,” he wipes away his tears again.
“why can’t i?” you teased, getting in his face. he chuckles in response, making you grin. “you don’t need to act so tough all the time.” you take both of his hands into yours. gently running your thumb over his— now— bandaged knuckles. “you don’t need to keep hurting yourself.” you tap his forehead and then his knuckles, “inside and outside.”
he shrugs again, letting out a shaky breath. he doesn’t know what to say. this is the most he’s ever talked about his feelings. he’s got a lot to work on, but you think he did just fine. you understand him enough to know that he just doesn’t want to be abandoned right now. he needs someone and if he’ll let you, you want to be that person.
he speaks up after a long pause. “thanks for staying with me.”
you smiled, “am i just gonna leave you to fend for yourself when you’re hurt?”
he shrugged again, “you could have.”
“well, i won’t,” you assure him. looking into his tired, red eyes and promising him that.
it makes taehyung’s eyes start to tear up again.
so he closes his eyes, letting the burn behind his lids take over. he leans forward to gently rest his forehead against yours. you don’t move, only intertwining your fingers with his and squeezing gently. “thank you,” he whispers.
smiling softly, you rub his nose with yours. “of course,” you whisper back. pulling back far enough to give him a gentle kiss on the cheek. it’s then that taehyung pulls you in for a hug. wrapping his arms around your waist, hugging you tightly. his face hidden in the crook of your neck as he basks in the warmth of your presence.
little by little, taehyung feels his throat itching to tell you everything. to regurgitate everything he’s been through for you to understand. but your gentle touch and sweet reassurance tells him there’s no need to rush and that you won’t judge him for taking too long to talk about it.
so tonight he’ll let himself sit in your warm embrace. tonight, he’ll take all the love he can get.
you promised that you’d help taehyung out with one of his projects after your monday lecture, so you’re rushing to the parking lot just after class finished.
after saying a quick hello to one of your professors, you notice a familiar face amongst a group walking your way. except, that face has a prominently bruised eye. josh’s eye is almost swollen shut. the purple and blue bruise surrounding his eye looks painful, and you could only guess who put it there.
[4:24 pm] you: did u really…
[4:25 pm] taehyung: guess u saw the other guy?

baby blue- b. barnes
pairings: bucky barnes x reader, tony stark bruce banner, steve rogers, sam wilson warnings: child bucky, language, this is long. why is this so long about: requested by @cherry-season (apparently can't tag you)! bucky turns into a baby/toddler and is clingy a/n: okay so i know virtually nothing about three-year-olds. can you tell? thank you so much for requesting!! I had so much fun writing this <333
[@tylard-blog1]
bucky’s day wasn’t particularly fantastic to begin with.
he was already exhausted when he woke up in the early lights of the morning, his nightmares had kept him up all night-- which you theorized was due to the mission the day before that took place in one of the same hydra bases bucky had been held in. you had frowned when you realized it the day of, turning your attention to bucky and making sure he was okay with it because if he wasn’t, you would make sure someone else took care of it. he had insisted it was fine, even though the next night proved him wrong. you had done what you could, running your fingers through his hair and humming lightly until you fell asleep and he refused to wake you up, resigning himself to a sleepless night.
his morning started with his flesh arm reaching out to feel your side of the bed, hoping to find your soft, warm skin to pull you closer, but instead being met with the unkind sheets that missed the gentleness of your body. he had frowned when he realized you had already left for a meeting with some important hotshot in space with carol (you couldn’t find a better excuse to go get breakfast at your favorite alien restaurant with your favorite aliens) and wouldn’t be back for a solid few hours too long. groaning, and with no real reason to stay in bed for any longer without the excuse of getting to feel you for a few more hours, he dragged himself out of bed.
it didn’t get much better from there, because he was greeted with the sight of sam eating the last bowl of the last box of cereal in the whole damn tower because everyone rejected to go grocery shopping. since bucky refused to eat any of the frozen breakfasts tony loved so much and the stark kid swore were “the best thing ever,” he grunted at sam and walked away without eating, knowing he’d regret it later when his stomach would growl and you would immediately know he skipped breakfast.
for some unknown reason, tony had found out about bucky’s lack of things to do, and with a few winks and manipulative large-worded engineering phrases, convinced him to join him in the lab, which bucky had only really been able to see through the clear glass that separated the lab from the rest of the tower, and from the occasions where he would take food and drinks to you while you locked yourself away inside, building something alongside tony.
being inside, so close to the various machines and objects bucky cant begin to figure out the purpose of, his memories of being in school and at the top of his math and engineering classes bubble to the surface, filling him with the pride he remembers having every day at school. the thought that he could probably understand everything if you or tony explained it to him passes through his mind and urges him to ask tony to do just that, but tony beats him before he can get the chance.
bruce is eyeing them wearily from the other side of the lab, attention mostly on the test tubes in front of him. he gives bucky a smile when he comes in, but seems to ignore him for the most part until tony shows bucky to bruce’s work station, pointing out a blue liquid in a test tube marked TESTING. bruce’s neck snaps to them when tony open his big mouth, “you know, y/n was actually supposed to test something out for me today,” tony begins innocently, a suggestion laced in his words that bucky catches but decides to ignore because of the high he feels from understanding the equations scribbled on the clear glass, “do you know where she is?”
bucky narrows his eyes at him, then looks up at the clock, realizing it’s still a while before you get back, “not even on earth,” he recipes blandly, slyly sneaking a glance at the liquid for any indications of what it could be.
tony sighs dramatically, his shoulders sagging, “oh no, how do i test this now?” bruce shoots tony a warning glance that is blatantly ignored.
bucky’s shrugging before he can help it, the reminder that since you were going to do it, what could be the harm if he did? “i could do it.”
tony claps, “great!” he gestures to a door behind him, “please go in there to sign non-disclosure agreements and wash your hands.”
bucky’s shoved inside before he can fully understand the implications of his stupid offer.
-
the thought of asking the basic questions he should have asked before he agreed to test an unidentified liquid comes to bucky nearly an hour later, when the small vial of weird blue liquid sits in front of him, waiting to be drunk. tony and bruce sit in chairs a couple of feet away, clipboards in both of their hands, and interested expressions settled on their features.
“what does this do again?” he asks, squinting at the vial that he doesn’t notice tony isn’t looking at, furrowing his eyebrows when tony waves him off, “something super smart. no side effects or anything.” bucky’s eyes flit down to the little vial again, before they nearly bug out of his head at the humongous laser that is rolled into the room, “what the hell is that.”
“ah,” tony grins, bouncing from his seat to stand next to his invention proudly, “this is what you’re testing out.” bucky cocks his head at the man, “i thought i was drinking blue water. y/n was going to drink blue water.” tony shakes his head, adjusting some dials on the machine, “yeah, no, it was this. pretty sure i told you.”
“you didn’t-” bruce is looking at tony in concern, about to tell him to slow down so bucky has a chance to think all this through again and maybe ask if there is any chance the laser will melt him, when tony clicks a large red button and a bright white light clouds bucky’s vision just as he sees the clock on the exact same time he saw an hour ago, realizing the clock in the billion-dollar lab is broken, and you’re probably getting home any second.
“tony!” he hears bruce yell before his vision goes dark.
it’s only a second until he can pry open his eyes again, a hand curling into a fist, ready to pound stark into tomorrow when he can suddenly feel the nails of his hand digging into his palm. the surprising feeling of it where his vibranium arm should be forces him to look down at a small arm, fully skin and thin. he looks around, noticing his surroundings suddenly have grown very large around him, and the sound of his voice is higher when he tries to speak again.
“what the f-” he mumbles, cutting himself off when a sudden memory of his ma yelling at him to wash his mouth out if he wants to talk like that floods his mind, and he stares down at himself, eyebrows furrowing when he spots his short stature and the tiny hands and feet that look up at him. realization floods him like a wave, raising his chin at the two, tall, gobsmacked men in front of. “was that supposed to happen?” bruce asks quietly, nodding slowly when tony shakes his head, “no.”
there’s a light knock at the door, your hand pushing it open before anyone can stop you, and your tired face peeks in, a glowing smiling adorning your face and your eyes searching for your boyfriend, “hey, do you guys know where bucky is-” your voice cuts through the stunned silence, pausing when you catch the little boy’s eye. at first, you stare at him, your eyebrows pulling together as you get a good look at the familiar cerulean of his eyes and scan the clothing you’d seen on bucky before. for a second, everything is silent, bucky’s eyes are wide and staring as yours bore into them, searching for something you’re nearly touching until you gasp, “bucky?” you choke, reaching for him when he nods, his legs already trying to reach you as fast as they possibly can but they buckle. bucky realizes just then how old he must be now. “oh, baby,” you murmur, gathering him up in your arms before he can fall to the hard ground of the lab. “what the hell did you idiots do to my boyfriend?” you demand, turning to the two scientists who are going over tony’s notes.
bruce glances at tony, tilting his head at him as if to say him. you roll your eyes, not having any more information than when you asked, “tony?” you growl, walking over to the man, not missing the way little bucky’s hand grabs onto your shirt.
“it didn’t- that wasn’t supposed to happen,” tony defends weakly, a lazy shrug pulling at his shoulders. your eyes flash with velvet red, and, without moving a finger, tony’s pulled in front of you, wrapped in red swirls bucky can’t help but gawk at.
“fix it.” you order. tony nods, pursing his lips, “we’ll do that.” bruce looks a little taken aback, looking up from tony’s scribbles and equations. “i don’t think it’ll last more than a day,” he offers helpfully, “whatever it was tony was trying to do wasn’t either.”
bucky’s eyes start to droop, which he assumes is an effect of the sleepless night he just had on his infant body, something that usually wouldn’t affect him in his one-hundred-and-six-year-old self. he hums when he realizes the irony, leaning his head against the welcoming crook of your neck and catching your attention. you turn to him for a moment, softening a little before turning back to tony and glaring at him, “fix it.”
-
steve catches you when you walk out of the lab, his eyes nearly bugging out of his head when he spots the toddler in your arms, “holy shit, that looks exactly like bucky,” he breathes, scanning the dark mussed-up hair and stepping back when bucky opens his eyes. from next to him, sam looks from bucky to you, “did you two have a kid and not tell anyone, because this-”
“is bucky. that’s bucky.” you interrupt, looking at the toddler, “tony messed up with something and… this happened, i don’t completely… bucky’s a baby.”
steve raises an eyebrow, squinting at his best friend, “ha,” he laughs, “wow, he looks exactly like his pictures. he must be about three years old.” bucky blinks at him. “his ma said he was chatting up a storm at that age, though,” steve informs, looking back up at you. sam grins, “has he said anything? i kinda want to hear if he still sounds old.” bucky frowns at him, his pout deepening when sam bursts into laughter, “his grumpy face is the same!”
you look at your boyfriend, tilting your head and smiling a little when you realize he’s right, “you’re cute,” you coo now that you get a good look at him, “you’re so cute,” you murmur, poking his nose with your finger. bucky can’t help the blush that comes to his cheeks. but he slaps away sam’s fingers, scowling at him, “no.” he argues, “no.”
sam frowns, “no old man voice.”
“i hate you,” bucky says to sam, and you laugh, “i think we should leave for now. i need to figure out what will make three-year-old bucky not as grumpy.” sam looks at bucky’s furrowed brows and the same two little lines between them, his eyes flickering back up to yours, “i think that may just be a bucky thing.”
-
you bring bucky to the living room, sitting him down at the edge of the couch and crouching in front of him, watching him and his little crossed arms, bottom lip jutted out against his own will. bucky isn’t used to the emotional control of a child who’s three and can’t control the frustration that’s coursing through him at the moment. the only thing he knows for sure is that he doesn’t want you to leave him again.
“bucky?” you start, looking deep into the wide blue eyes that let you know it is bucky you’re speaking to. “what do you want to do? are you hungry? d’you want to sleep?” bucky shakes his head stubbornly at you, “i want tony to fix this.”
you sigh, “i know, baby. i do too, but until he finds a cure to this, you’re gonna stay small for a couple more hours.” he pouts at that, and you smooth your thumb over his cheek, “no pouting. we can do whatever you want, buck.”
just as he’s about to reject any idea you have, his stomach rumbles loudly, directing your attention to the arms that guiltily cover up his middle. “bucky... did you eat breakfast today?” you query, a lecturing tone sneaking into your words. “sam ate my cereal,” bucky grumbles, crossing his arms.
“bucky!” you exclaim, standing up to turn to the kitchen, “that’s no excuse. i told you you needed to eat--” you’re barely three steps into the kitchen when you hear the pattering of his feet towards you, grubby hands pawing at your legs.
“don’t leave,” he whines, hugging your ankles and sitting down on the floor, “you left all morning,” he mumbles, smushing his cheeks against your calf.
“i’m sorry,” you apologize, bending over to brush away the hair that falls over his eyes. “c’mere,” you murmur, reaching down to pick him up again and bounce him on your hip while you head to the kitchen. “what do you want to eat?” bucky thinks about it for a minute, before smiling, “i want pizza and ice cream.” you frown at him, “i don’t think three-year-olds can eat that. actually, i don’t think anyone should.”
after consulting google on what three-year-olds should eat, you have bucky’s head resting on your shoulder, refusing to let you put him down even as you made him the mac and cheese he had agreed to, still a little upset over the fact you wouldn’t let him eat all the other things he wanted. the only time he let you not carry him was when he was eating, still insisting you sit right next to him to watch as he smeared cheese all over tony’s expensive table.
“okay,” you whisper breathlessly after watching him eat his third bowl of the meal, “i think that’s good.” you shove the dirty dishes in the sink, washing bucky’s hands and wiping at him cheeks with a warm cloth to get the mess he managed to create off. “did you forget how to eat?” you wonder aloud when you finally fnish cleaning him up, watching his small shoulders shrug.
“what do you want to do now? anything you want,” you propose.
“i want you,” he says, reaching his stubby arms out, “cuddles. ‘m sleepy,” he yawns, making grabby hands at you when you take too long to pick him up. “bucky,” you chuckle, complying with him and bringing him into your chest, where he leans his head on your shoulder. “you sure you don’t want to play or something? you don’t want to…” you trail off, trying to think of what three-year-olds do, “walk or read or something?”
bucky grunts in your ear, his eyelids already closing again, “cuddles,” he repeats, balling your shirt up in his little hands.
“okay,” you sigh, bouncing him gently while you walk to your shared bedroom. you pick up a stuffed animal you brought for bucky from one of your most recent missions, “did you sleep last night? is that why you’re so tired?” bucky hums, cuddling further into your chest when you lay down with him on top of you. you hand him the little dog plush, pressing a kiss to his head when he takes the gift, hugging it with you. “honey, i’m sorry,” you frown, gently threading your fingers through his short hair, humming the same song bucky sings to you when you can’t get to sleep. it doesn’t take long to lull him into the calmness of rest.
you only wake up when the weight on you is suddenly multiplied, completely taking your breath away, “bucky!-” you exclaim, rolling from underneath him to meet his closed eyes. you shake your head with a light laugh, drawing a strand of hair behind his ear before you press your lips to his cheeks, snuggling in with him again, “sweet dreams, darling,” you murmur, placing the stuffed animal he dropped on your dresser.

A/N: Gotta say, this one took a lot to get done BUT SHE IS HERE. Huge thanks to @birbdae for the banner, I know you did it quite a while ago and since then this fic evolved into this so- yeah I hope that you guys enjoy this one.
Yoongi walks the pristine halls once he enters the building, it smells like a mix of freshly brewed coffee and sanitizer, his shoes somewhat squeaking on the floor with each step he takes, the starched collar of the white shirt he was practically obliged to dress in has started to itch his skin from not being used to the whole put together look. It had been a few weeks since his father died, nobody really seemed phased by it, being that the man had passed away after a long battle on a hospital bed. No one had cried during the funeral, not even his mother. Truth be told, they were all instructed not to do so, something along the lines of being the most deserving family in the country or some bullshit like that. Of course the man would be missed, not for his grandeur as a human being, but more for the millions he made day by day. And that’s where Yoongi comes in. Dressed up head to toe in a way that he hadn’t done ever since his father practically threw him into the streets. As much as he disliked it and had grown out of it, he couldn’t help but compromise, eyes on the grand prize: the family fortune.
So what if his siblings and a few cousins would get something out the old man’s will too, the Min’s fortune, both in money and enterprises, was huge; after his grandfather had passed away, and his father, being the youngest child, absorbed every single part of the fortune as his siblings weren’t fitted anymore to run their part, the newest Min generation had turned to resemble a bunch of vultures waiting to feed. So as long as he got his fair share for having to put up with the man for so long, he would be okay with it.
Everybody was already sitting on the large wooden table by the time he arrived, the commissioner signaling for him to take a seat before he began the lecture. An almost three hour long preface that had Yoongi dozing off multiple times, getting a side eye from most of the other people present, before the distribution began. Min Enterprises consultant branch for Daejun, Min Enterprises technology branch for Hada… and last but not least, Min Enterprises recreative branch for Yoongi.
“HA! TAKE THAT YOU HOMOPHOBIC FUCK! I KNEW I’D GET SOMETHING!” all eyes turned to him as he stood up from his seat, some shocked at the word choice, although it was no secret he had a rough relationship with his father, most of them just snickering at him, like they knew something he didn’t.
And man did they know.
“So he just had to keep being a homophobe even as he’s buried six feet under the ground and give me the dildo factory” Yoongi sighed as he frantically paced around the room
“Eh” his friend shrugged as he munched on a small bag of pretzels “The snacks are nice”
“What the fuck am I supposed to know about dildos! I don’t have a vagina!” Yoongi’s face was redder than ever, throwing a fit on his very first day at the office he inherited just a few days ago– not before going through a lot of papers and signatures and approvals– and learning that apparently amongst the whole business emporium his family had built, there was a sex toys manufacturer. And his father had decided to be his funny homophobic self even after death, by letting his bisexual son run it.
Namjoon had laughed for a good five minutes on the phone before he decided to come over and help his best friend out of what was surely about to be an existential crisis. Leaning against the couch that was placed on what would now be his office, he added distractedly “You don’t need to have a vagina to use a dildo tho”
“Well-true” he seemed to ponder it for a while, before shaking himself from the thought “either way I wouldn’t know a thing about it”
“Remember back in college summer 2013?”
Yoongi turned to his friend, stopping dead in his tracks and squinting his infamous cat-like squint at the younger, gritting his teeth “We DON’T talk about summer 2013”
Namjoon lets out a whole body laugh at both his friend and the memory, when you make your way into his office in order to deliver some of the papers you needed him to sign “What happened in summer 2013?”
“We don’t talk about that” you couldn’t help but smile at him, grumpily making his way to his desk, rubbing his temples as he let out an exasperated groan. Not everyone really knew a thing or two about the new boss, never been the one to be acquainted with his late father’s business, or family, for that matter and it really showed, the poor guy didn’t even know where to begin with before he was savagely thrown into an already clock-work organisation. People were starting to talk as soon as he set foot inside the building, gossips going around about how he wasn’t fitted for the position and how he was the outcast of the family, yet you thought he could use a friendly face if he ultimately decided to take the job. His friend was still absentmindedly laughing before his eyes caught something on his phone screen.
“Well this has being fun, I’m gonna head out” he started getting up from the couch before the elder interrupted his wave towards you
“What am I supposed to do Namjoon?!”
“Just- give me a call once you figure out if you get an employee’s discount, okay?”
“Wha-” Yoongi was quick to throw a pen that had been lying on top of his desk at his retrieving friend, the object falling to the ground as it hit the doorframe, completely missing the other man, whose laugh could still be heard as he walked away.
He slumped against his desk chair once again, eyeing the stack of documents you had brought in for a brief moment before groaning and hanging his head low. There were a lot of rumours going around, with the Min family being as successful as they were, and although you had decided not to trust them, you couldn’t help but feel your heart ache if what people said about Min Yoongi were true. A prodigal son fallen from his father’s grace, truly one –if not the most– prepared person out of the whole family, with a lot of curriculum to back him up, everyone rooting for him to be the head of the whole Min emporium, only to be casted away in a rush of headlines, front pages of magazines and online bashing as he was seen leaving a bar that was known to be one of the few LGBTQIA+ friendly ones around and it all went downhill from there, never to be seen around his own family again except for the big events and now, here.”I could help you figure out your way around if you’d like”
He didn’t even bother to turn your way when he answered “I don’t even know where to begin”
“That’s alright, come on” you tapped his arm in an attempt to have him follow you outside. Although the methods seemed quite unorthodox for an enterprise carrying the Min’s family name, Yoongi didn’t seem the type to take offence on a lack of traditional manners, plus, the whole workplace had always been quite different from the rest of the Enterprises. “My name’s Y/N, I’m the head director of a sister brand, so you’ll be seeing a lot of me around”
“So…” he turned to face you as you two made your way out of his office “dildos?”
“Kinda- we run the LGBTQIA+ focused brand” he almost missed a step as soon as the words were processed inside his mind and you couldn’t help but smile at him
“I never knew my father had an inclusive line in his business”
“Oh he didn’t” you couldn’t help but find it cute when he made a confused gesture with his face as you both stopped at one of the doors that led to the designing part of the building “You see, we tend to do things differently around here, and there’s a lot of space to work with”
The room is, admittedly, not at all what Yoongi had expected it to be –not like he had a precise image in mind about a dildo manufacturer. But the room he was brought in was almost surgical, men and women alike are all dressed up with white laboratory coats and all, one of them approaching both of you with a smile on his face.
“Y/N! What brings you here? It’s been a while since we’ve seen you!” Yoongi can’t help but steal a glance at your smile, the heavy air that he was accustomed to feel every time he came close to one of his family’s business nowhere to be found, the whole room was breathable enough.
“Work’s keeping me busy, anyway, this is Min Yoongi, he’s taking over” for a second Yoongi felt like suffocating, you having to introduce him as if he wasn’t quite literally your boss, as if he was a new employee “I’m showing him around, see how he finds the place”
“Oh the infamous Min Yoongi” and he could feel his heart race- even in such a place, only god knows how much of his family disaster the people could hear of, the flashbacks to being outcasted and laughed at for his downfall all coming back to him “It’s nice to have you man, I’m Hoseok”
You turned his way and smiled at him, in an attempt to let him know that it was fine. There really wasn’t much to fear inside the building– except for when they had to deal with executive meetings– things were different around here. Yoongi’s gaze seemed to fixate on one of the computers where another man in a white coat was sitting, albeit still quite awkward, he approached him “Is there a program for that?”
The guy, one of your best designers ever since he joined an internship a few years back, Jungkook, turned to look at Yoongi with wide eyes and sort of shy at the stranger “Oh yeah” when Yoongi didn’t seem to break out of his fascination on watching a 3D modelling program run with a sculptured cock being designed on it he added with a small chuckle “Drawing penises by hand only gets you so far”
He watches you chat away with both men and can’t help but feel at peace, as weird as the thought of it could be. Min Yoongi, with a MBA and a Business Administration Doctorate, feels at peace in a dildo factory. But the teamwork seems like something he had never seen before, the line of production is almost text-book like. He can’t help but wonder, even if headless, things seem to run smoothly, where exactly does he fit in? “So what exactly am I supposed to do in a dildo factory?”
You laugh at his choice of words, before Hoseok steps in somewhat offended by them “We don’t just make dildos” and although it didn’t help his case, he throws one squiggly silicone penis his way, to which he has no other option but catch “We are in charge of designing, planning and manufacturing recreational tools in aid for people’s mental health, self indulgence and lifestyle” he then loses his whole offended facade as he takes a small ring between his fingers and shrugs before smiling brightly “At least that what we tell the big boss”
The younger man in a white coat speaks up from his place in front of the computer “Except he’s now the big boss”
Hoseok’s eyes grow as wide as saucers as he realises “Oh god did I fucked up?” You can’t stop yourself from smiling at his antiques, hand coming up to shut his mouth as he realises his slip in vocabulary “Oh shit” Jungkook rolls his eyes at him before returning to his work and Yoongi can’t help but feel endeared as the whole scene develops “Sorry boss”
Gratefully, you step to his side, waving a goodbye to both of them, Hoseok returning it with a smile and a bow towards him, and he realises his question still hasn’t been answered “So really, where am I supposed to fit in?”
You seem to ponder the question before responding “You could take over the white collar meetings, we all hate them” Yoongi groans at that “or” you take the silicone penis from him with a mischievous smile on your face as you shake it around on his face “you could be Jungkook’s test subject”
“I-no. Despite what you heard from Namjoon I don’t- I” your body almost doubled over in laughter at the face he pulled, an honest horror face and hey, the man is quite attractive, that much could be seen from miles away, and it had been a few too many months since the last time you got laid, technically he wasn’t even your boss, as you held the same position for a different product line.
“Eh- you could always try them on me” Yoongi’s eyes widened in surprise before they took on something darker in them, almost amused at your advances “...if you let me try my products on you”
“Deal”
“Hyung what the fuck”
Yoongi started playing with a stress ball you had given him the day before after all introductions and tours were said and done, and now of course, after texting in the groupchat at night, both Namjoon and Seokjin wanted to hear all about what Jin named– very proudly– the deal-do “What could be worse than dildos?”
“Strap ons?”
Seokjin placed a hand on Yoongi’s back and sighed, already knowing the answer yet forcing himself to ask “Did you even read the papers you signed? The product lines of your company?”
“Oh”
“So you’re not going to keep the whole Min Yoongi doesn’t bottom facade any more?” Namjoon asked, knowing that although it was quite fun to watch the whole scenario unfold, his friend was the one going through it all
“I don’t bottom, that’s a fact”
“Hello boys, having fun on company time?” you crossed the door to his office the way you did the day before, dropping on top of his desk a stack of documents, only now noticing a new face on the couch, turning to greet him as he does the same before standing up, signalling Yoongi’s other friend, Namjoon to do the same.
“Well Yoongi-ah, this has been nice and all but it looks like you’ve got work to do” although he was trying to keep a straight face, the snickering of both men could be heard as they left the room. Yoongi really has to tell them that the walls are paper thin.
“So…”
“So…”
“Was the whole deal thing a thing? or should I just pretend it never happened and get stuck on reviewing whatever papers I’m supposed to review?” A short laugh escaped your lips as you looked at him, still kinda awkward about the whole ordeal.
“Oh it is a thing” you grabbed one of the folders on top of the stack, pressing the paper against him “We like to be very particular on our quality”
His eyes travelled along his feet for a few seconds, no word spoken about it.
“Yoongi, you do know you can say no right?” it was something you should have addressed way earlier, knowing beforehand that the work ethics around branched out into almost non existent territory, and the man was fresh out of a big family outcasting, getting thrown back in it to take over the least coordinated side of the enterprise “Look, I won’t lie, there’s a lot of talk going around, but you seem like a nice man, and I find you very attractive, you came in here as the boss and I was trying to get you entertained with the whole dildo factory idea, I know it must have been tough being designated here, especially since we tend to be...a little too much to handle, so just know that you can opt out of this one, I can just get Jungkook and his girlfriend to try these ones out, as they always have”
“That’s- that’s a lot to process”
“Then take your time and let me know okay? just thought you could have a nice laugh at the whole situation”
It took Yoongi three days and a half to get back to you on the offer, three days and a half in which, although he wouldn’t admit to it, you had wormed your way into his heart, having you deliver documents each morning, bantering along with his friends before you had to go back to whatever it is that you did around the company. You had also started to smile more at Yoongi’s antiques as he slowly but surely made himself more comfortable around the company, handling small white collar tasks and getting less squeamish at every prototype Jungkook or Hoseok handed him without previous notice.
“You really invited me to dinner beforehand” Along with the responsibilities of being a head of management, came work trips, which were initially a you thing until Yoongi came along and now had to take responsibility as well, so naturally you had suggested to him–after a lot of rain checks on your deal– that this work trip would be perfect for you two to give the new toys a try.
“I’m a true gentleman, Y/N I don’t know what you’re talking about”
“Min Yoongi you’re about to absolutely ravage me after this”
“Y/N” his cheeks coloured a pretty pink as he tried to stifle a giggle by taking a sip out of his wine.
Even though it was hard to tell from first glance just what type of lifestyle Yoongi was accustomed to, it certainly became very visible as he navigated effortlessly through the menu with all the french names on it, swiftly ordering for both of you and being delighted at your reactions when the hors d'oeuvre came out, a soft smile on his face the whole time. Whether it was the soft buzz of two cups of red wine over dinner or having the chance of relaxing after a particularly busy week, it made you start gravitating towards Yoongi more than usual. It really was no secret that you found him attractive–you had even told the man yourself. And although you two had somewhat friendzoned each other, the awkward glances, blushing smiles and lingering touches certainly held more than what any of you two could express after barely a month of knowing each other.
Getting Yoongi to your hotel room was the easiest part, a faint blush on the apples of his cheeks as he gazed longingly at your held hands while you dragged him along after leaving the elevator. The kiss was unexpected but certainly welcomed, the way that Yoongi– the man that you had come to know for always being adamant on trying new things– looked so out of his element yet was willing to give it a try instead of running away like many times you had seen him do at work. The kiss was brief, a bit shy and probably out of all the built up tension in the room, your heart swelling at the gesture before you leaned in and captured his lips once more.
“Well this is certainly the first time someone has dined me, wined me and courted me before fucking me into next week”
A laugh escapes his lips, nothing like before, his eyes turning something dark within them as he lowers his voice and his fingers play with the strap on your shoulder, letting it fall down before his lips latch on the base of your jaw “Well what type of assholes have you let fuck you into next week”
A breathy moan escapes your lips as his mouth travels down your jaw to your clavicule, pressing you against him where you could feel his cock hardening, your hand coming down to trace the clothed length as he sharply breathes in “You know, maybe if you end up being good with the toys I’ll let you fuck me with this instead”
He groans loudly, head hitting the wall as you grip him inside his pants “Just fucking give me the dildos already so we can get on with it”
You both move to the bed, losing your dress in the way and positioning yourself nicely as you take out the box engraved with the company’s name on it before he trails behind you, feeling his cock twitch at the image he was greeted by, legs spread open, head against the pillows as your right hand leisurely strokes your already wet folds for him to see.
Yoongi tries his best to take deep breaths as he takes a look into the box, not recognising most of its contents “You really gotta walk me through these”
He can hear you laugh the way you always did when you noticed him being awkward in the slightest at work “Look, I’ll get the part going okay?” your hand stopped stroking your folds, fingers coming up to your mouth, licking them clean before going to grab a small bullet vibrator from the box– a classic you had become well acquainted with during your time working at the company.
The small object comes to life with a practiced twist on its body, buzzing against the air a few seconds before tracing the tip all over your folds before settling it on your clit, a gasped moan escaping your lips as you blindly fetch the glass dildo inside the box, cold surface sending a thrill down your spine as you slowly begin to insert it messily from being focused on not loosening your grip on the small vibrator. Warm hands remove your own from the clear object as you feel warm breath against your exposed skin, the tip of Yoongi’s tongue circling around your right nipple, capturing it between his teeth as he brings the tip of the glass penis inside and out of your cunt playfully a few times before deciding to bottom it out, earning a moan from you. Pumping the dildo a few times, his weight is suddenly shifted from the bed, movements halting and you prop yourself onto your elbows just to throw your head back in pleasure as you feel Yoongi’s mouth on your cunt, tongue lapping up your juices before he inserted the dildo once again, lewd sounds taking over the small room as he continues to fuck you and eat you out at the same time, you feel your thighs start shaking when he stops his movements, smirking at your surprised face, gaze fixated on you as he takes out both a set of ben wa balls and a rabbit vibrator, prompting yourself to explain both of the toys when he cuts your off “Oh I do recognise these two from the lab”
He quickly turns the rabbit vibrator on, wasting no time in fucking you with it as deep as its second vibrating tip allowed him to, the design effectively sending a wave of pleasure against your already worked up clit. Yoongi positions himself comfortably on your side, still fully clothed, hand at a slightly awkward angle so that he can reach down all while having open access to nibble at your skin, having you gasping and moaning under him
“Y-Yoongi I-!’m-” he throws a wink your way as you clench around nothing, impending orgasm long gone “You fucker”
He’s about to pick up the ben wa balls placed carelessly on the bed when he discards them in favour of a small silicone gadget that catches his eye “You were very much eager to try all of these tho” turning to you, all red faced and fucked out “What is this?”
You have half a mind to answer him “It’s a finger vibrator you just place it on your fingers like a glove”
There’s a brief glint in his eyes before he lowers himself again on the floor, easily manhandling you so that he had full access to your already dripping cunt, leveled to his face, cleaning you up with his hot tongue before he experimentally inserts his fingers inside you, vibrations making you instinctevely try and close your legs, to which he only chuckles and playfully bites the inside of your thigh. He quickly starts scissoring his fingers, gentle nibbles to your clit scattered between pumps, working you towards your previously cut short orgasm at a fast speed, walls clenching around his fingers as he separates himself from your core in favour of replacing his tongue for a mechanical sucking motion that you don’t even need to look down to know that he had reached for yet another toy inside the box “Yoongi- oh God- Yoongi p-please I’m-”
You moan loudly, pretty sure that if the rooms in your vicinity were occupied, they were most likely already filing a noise complaint, as you feel your whole body spasming by the force of your orgasm, feeling wetness around yourself, out of the corner of your eye you can see Yoongi smirking at you, the upper part of his sleeves wet from working you until you squirted on him. You can’t even begin to process the situation or really come down from your high as you feel Yoongi’s fingers carefully inserting what could only be the last toy. Your cunt seems to gape before clenching yet again as he works each of the rounded toys inside you, a mix of feeling too much yet not enough, dabbing between pleasure and feeling uncomfortable from the overstimulation taking over you for as long as Yoongi took his time inserting them all “God I can’t wait to see if you’d take my cock as well as you take these balls Y/N”
You’re about to respond with something snarky when he starts to slowly pull at the string of the toy, the ben wa balls coming out one by one, stretching you deliciously, a moan escaping your lips before Yoongi proceeds to start the ritual all over again. A sensation in your lower tummy aching for your climax buildup again and you could already tell it was going to be a long night.
Falling back into a comfortable, bantering routine was easy enough, if anything, that fated sleepless night followed by small giggles from Yoongi everytime you shifted uncomfortably on your seat at the meeting the next day, served the purpose of shifting your relationship towards a more relaxed sexual tension between the two, instead of the awkward one from before, lewd jokes thrown around as well as shameless flirting around the office when you thought no one was watching.
“Look what Jungkook just came up with” you said as you barged into his office a Monday morning, Yoongi almost choked on his coffee as you threw the artifact his way
“And I seriously hope this is a you thing”
You rolled your eyes at him, a smile stretching on your face as the sweet idea of revenge took over your thoughts “It’s an us thing”
His eyes seemed to want to escape their sockets at that “You gotta take me for dinner before you even plan on using that on me”
“Tell you what, I’ll feed you afterwards”
“Deal”
The office usually went quiet and lonely at around a quarter to seven, people from all sectors filtering out after a day’s worth of work, with you being the only human left on the building afterwards, that is, until Yoongi started working there, the man tended to stay for even longer than you did, the lights inside his office filtering to the otherwise dark place. You knock three times on the wooden door before entering Yoongi’s office, finding him hunched over his desk, some document open on his desk as he stares intently at it. You make your way towards him, hands kneading his shoulders to relieve tension, a pleasured groan escaping his lips as your lips bite teasingly his earlobe.
“The ever so romantic Y/N about to fuck me in my own office”
Your hands travel down to the expanse of his chest until they reach his belt, where you struggle a bit to get it undone. “I really just couldn’t wait any longer, could you blame me?”
Yoongi is quick to capture your mouth with his in a heated yet chaste kiss. He rolls his chair out of its original position to allow you to place yourself in between his legs, hips coming up just a few inches to allow you to bring his suit pants down to his ankles, half hard cock twitching in the cool air, your hand wrapping around it and pumping it a few times, to which Yoongi groans loudly, head thrown back as you lick a strip all the way from the base to the tip.
“Oh god Y/N” he can almost feel himself twitch in pleasure as he gazes down just in time to watch you slip him insid eyour mouth, lips wrapped prettily around him as you bob your head a few times before taking him out and giving his tip a few kitten licks “Oh-Oh I swear to fucking god you’ll be the death of me”
You take more of his length in your mouth, ravishing in the way that Yoongi responds, hand coming down to rest on your head, guiding you, yet not forcefully enough as you take a small set of rings from your bag laying around as soon as you feel him tense. You expertly maneuver the toy so that it is wrapped around his cock, him looking down and shivering at the cold metal touching him, constricting his cock to stand proudly as you move to straddle him, moving around a little so that his exposed cock grazes your clothed core under your skirt “I think you should stand up for me”
Yoongi does as he is told, not a word coming out of his mouth as he braces himself against his desk, one of your hands works on his cock as the other one comes down to his asshole, surprised enough to come across a bejewelled toy nestled inside it. You experimentally tug at it, Yoongi hanging his head low with a moan before you tease him a little with it, repeating the motion “So you prepped yourself for me”
He inhales sharply at your ongoing movements, biting down on his lips to keep a much louder noise from coming out “Shut up”
“No I think it's hot" you finally take the plug out, taking a few too many seconds to place the strap on you had thrown his way earlier on before moving to squirt some lube on it as well as on Yoongi’s hole before you tease it with the tip of the dildo, a broken moan coming from Yoongi’s mouth at the feeling, although it had been years– and he really wasn’t about to admit he was looking forward to having you fuck him ever since that sleepless night at your hotel room.
Your hips meet his in a faint and comfortable rhythm, Yoongi clutches his fists tighter every time you graze his prostate, cock leaking in front of him as he feels his orgasm building at a rapid pace before you completely remove yourself from him, bending down to put his pants in place, hand fumbling with the zipper so as to have his still ringed up cock standing still through the pants, forcing him onto his chair as you smile wickedly at him, a small set of electrodes being placed along his length, thin cables leading up to a small device you held in between your fingers.
He gasps as soon as he feels the electrodes vibrating against his cock, his faded climax coming back tenfold, something between a groan and a moan coming out from the back of his throat as you refrain yourself to just continue to watch him curiously “Look at you, such a pretty baby”
Yoongi’s moans keep getting louder by the second as you increase the level on the toy, and you certainly have to thank the universe for the whole office building being completely empty as you clearly see his cock twitch a few times before he cums all over his pants, Yoongi’s breath is ragged as his cock is unable to go soft, discomfort blending into pleasure once again as you keep the toy on for good measure, until you see his eyes watering, to which you hastily make your way to him, as he almost dissolves against the chair.
“It’s- it’s fine, I’ll clean myself” his voice is raspy and kind of quiet as you make sure to clean him the best that you could after removing the toys and running to his private bathroom for some towels.
“Yoongi, I’m not about to leave you after splitting your ass open and overstimulating you into oblivion, you’re not even sitting properly”
He makes a go at inhaling sharply before coming to fix himself on the chair “No it’s okay, I’ve had worse”
“Yoongi” you chastise, fixing him a glare
“Summer 2013”
You chuckle at that–the very much recurring inside joke of his. “What even happened in summer 2013?” He barely opens his eyes just to send an irritated glare your way “Yeah Yeah, we don’t talk about summer 2013”
Carefully selected dates under the pretense of trying out whatever new gadget Jungkook and Hoseok came up with during the month soon turned into weekly meetups, meetups turned into staying the night that soon enough turned things as official as they could be– if Human Resources were the ones asking, Yoongi and you were just really great friends, end of the story. Out of all the ways that Yoongi had initially thought this scenario could play out, it certainly wasn’t this one.
“I’ll see you at home once the meeting is over then?” you say after placing a kiss on Yoongi’s adorable pouty lips, gathering your documents and thoughts for the meeting you were supposed to already be at. He nods right as your knees buckle, feeling the small device inside you pick up in speed, turning to the culprit only to find him smirking at you “Yoongi”
“Love you!” the little shit is quick to pretend like he hadn’t done a thing, eyes quickly fixated on whatever that was showing up on his screen as he watched you leave his office. Guess you’ll just have to get revenge on that one.

You’re standing on your toes to make sure the banner you’re holding isn’t crooked. It’s probably not the safest to be on a ladder while tiptoeing and add the fact that the person down below holding the ladder isn’t really paying attention.
“Tae,” you call out without looking down. You squint your eyes at the banner, turning your head from side to side. Maybe you should’ve placed it higher? But then it might not be that noticeable so high up—
“Hm?” he replies, but his voice seems far off. Finally, you look down to see Taehyung holding the ladder with one hand, and in the other he’s typing on his phone.
You roll your eyes. “You’re not even paying attention,” you say exasperatedly. You’ve been up since 7 AM, running around school to make sure the preparations for the job fair are going smoothly. It’s almost 12 in the afternoon now and you haven’t had a single bite to eat. You just want this day to end. “Taehyung!”
He snaps his head up, eyes suddenly wide at the array of decorations and banners that are hung up. By the surprised look on his face, you’re positive he hasn’t been paying attention at all since you started. “Sorry,” he breathes out. “One company just came in late—”
“But they were supposed to arrive two hours ago!”
Taehyung widens his eyes in alarm. He’s known you for two years and has been working with you for one, so he pretty much knows the signs of your oncoming outbursts. “It’s fine.” He starts speaking again before you start shouting. You’re not mad at him, never have been, but you’re stressed and tired and hungry and you haven’t sat down in five hours. “Someone just has to assist them to their booth but everyone’s busy right now—”
“Just go.” You wave him off. You do not want things to be delayed even further and if it meant sacrificing your safety on the ladder, then so be it.
“Got it,” he says as he brings his phone to his ear, walking away without even glancing back at you. You sigh and turn back to the decorations. Yeah, the right side is definitely off. You huff and stretch out your arm hoping to get a hold of the right corner. It’s too far so you lean to the side to reach it. The ladder starts shaking but you don’t pay it any mind. You just need to finish this so you could go to the auditorium to check the stage design then—
“Hey! ___!”
You turn your head towards the voice just in time as you feel the ladder slam against the wall it’s leaning on, shaking every bone in your body. You look down suddenly and see Jungkook, whose got two hands holding the ladder tightly.
“What the fuck, ___,” he breathes out. “Why isn’t anyone holding the ladder? This is dangerous.”
You haven’t noticed your heart’s been racing. You hardly even noticed you were about to fall, but the look on Jungkook’s face says otherwise. “Sorry,” you whisper. You try to calm your racing heartbeat. “I just—” You breathe out. “I just needed to—”
“Come down,” he says, voice so quiet that you’re immediately complying, legs climbing down the ladder and Jungkook’s hand on your waist to guide you. Once you’re back on the ground again you turn to face him.
“Sorry,” you say, voice firmer now. “I just needed to get this done and Taehyung was the one helping but he needed to help set up a booth and—”
“Hey, hey,” Jungkook says as holds your hand in his and squeezes your fingers. Instantly, it calms you down. “Let’s take it one step at a time, okay?”
You look into his eyes and nod, feeling at ease now that he’s here. Jungkook just has that effect on you, really. Plus you’ve known him since high school so he really knows how to ease your nerves. You clench your eyes shut and focus on the feel of his skin on yours, his thumb rubbing the outside of your palm, his big hands encasing your small ones. You’ve been working on this project for months now. You have a team and the rest of the student council to help you, sure, but all the ideas and planning came from you. So it’s been stressing you out. Good thing Jungkook’s been there to help you if needed, always giving you food and snacks and reminding you to take a break every once in a while. You’re sure you wouldn’t have survived if it weren’t for him.
“You okay now, ___? We can grab some lunch if you have the time,” Jungkook says quietly.
You open your eyes and smile at him sheepishly. He instantly glares at you (but it’s the cute kind, the one where he wants you to think he’s mad but he isn’t). A pout forms in his face and he lets go of your hands. You miss the warmth instantly.
“Let me guess, you haven’t eaten a single thing all day haven’t you?”
You nod your head and Jungkook groans, throwing his head back dramatically as if he’s been told he can’t play soccer anymore.
“You shouldn’t forget to eat, ___. Food is important,” he huffs. “And it makes you less grumpy.”
You roll your eyes at him and turn to walk back to the ladder again, but Jungkook grabs your hand to make you face him.
“How about this, I’ll hold the ladder while you finish that sign, then we go for lunch.”
A million different things suddenly enter your mind. You still need to check the booths, then the auditorium, and then the registration area. You open your mouth to protest but Jungkook raises both his hands to stop you.
“We’ll only eat for twenty minutes and then you can go back to doing your President-y things.”
You cross your arms in front of your chest and Jungkook smiles, knowing you’re about to agree.
You point a finger at him. “Twenty minutes only. And you’re buying me coffee, too.”
He puts his hand on his chest and looks shocked, as if you’ve said the most offensive thing to him. “Baby,” he starts, and you know he’s saying it as a joke but it still makes your heart flutter. Makes that little seed of hope in you grow a little bit more. But you know Jungkook’s just a natural flirt and that he calls you that from time to time as a joke.
(At least that’s what you keep telling yourself)
He’s smiling so widely now, teeth on display with his dimples fully showing. He’s smirking a bit, too, and you can’t lie to yourself and say he doesn’t look absolutely dreamy right now. You know that look oh too well because it’s the one he uses when he’s flirting. With other girls.
“I buy you coffee all the time,” he says. “Whether you ask for it or not.”
And you know that’s true. Jungkook knows your love for coffee—and your favorite order at Starbucks—as much as he knows his favorite soccer players. He buys you coffee before he picks you up from class. He even buys you coffee when he randomly decides to drop by the student council office, which is partly given as a bribe to use the printer in there for free instead of paying for the printing services in campus.
You try to push him away but he only catches your hand to bring you a bit closer to him. Your bodies aren’t touching but you’re close enough that you can feel the heat radiating off him.
Oh, you’re playing a very dangerous game, Jeon Jungkook.
You try to calm the beating in your heart and hope you aren’t blushing. Instead, you roll your eyes at him. “Yeah, you do. Now let me get this finished so we can eat.”
Jungkook holds the ladder while you finish decorating the banner, and from time to time he’d give his comments about the placement. You’re grateful for the help and finish ten minutes later. You’re pouting at him to return the ladder (which he does because he can never say no to you when you’re pouting) and finally you’re both making your way to the cafeteria.
True to his word, Jungkook makes sure you don’t take too long to eat. But he also makes sure you’re eating enough as well. He’s usually chatty when you’re eating together but he’s pretty silent now as you munch on your food. You’re distracted anyway, fingers busy typing on your phone as you’re responding to all the messages you haven’t checked yet. Jungkook’s used to this, of course, so he’s watching some anime highlights on his phone like he always does when you’re busy with President-y things (his words, not yours).
After eating he’s walking you to the auditorium, large coffee in your hand and a cookie in the other since he insisted you need to eat some more. Once you’re by the entrance, Jungkook suddenly stands in front of you, shoulders straight and feet together. “Good luck, Madam President.” He salutes and you roll your eyes in return.
“You’re honestly such a fucking dork.”
He smiles that bunny smile you adore. “You love me anyway,” he says and you choose not to reply. “Anyway, I’ll get going to class now. See you later at practice?” he asks.
He means his soccer practice and you nod your head quickly. You watch his practices most of the time anyway, but you think he just wants you there because you always have snacks for him and also so he can show off his tricks to you. “Yeah, I’ll be there. Now go before you’re late!”
“See you later, cutie.”
Again, it’s one of those pet names he calls you as a joke. You glare at him. “Seriously, Jeon, what’s with all the nicknames?” You might just throw the cookie at him to make sure he doesn't see you blushing.
He shrugs but he’s got that boyish smile on his face. Finally, he starts walking away. You watch his back for a bit but he suddenly turns around, cups his hands around his mouth and shouts, “Because you look really cute today, cutie.”
You frown at yourself and look down at your outfit, eyeing the sweats and big shirt you’re wearing today for comfort. You’re pretty sure you’re sweating a lot and your hair’s a mess. You look up and shake your head to yourself while you make your way to the auditorium, wondering why in the world Jungkook would think you look cute today out of all days.
It doesn’t help slow down the beating in your heart, however, and you find yourself smiling the whole day.

CW: Clowns (which reminds me of this post)
Children grew up at an alarming rate. Eskel could have sworn it was only a few blinks ago that Geralt took guardianship of baby Ciri with Yennefer. Now, she was turning six and Eskel had been roped into chaperoning a birthday party. Again. Though he did have a scrawled invite arrive in the post, painstakingly stickered, glittered and signed by Ciri. It was nice that she wanted him there but Eskel knew that if she hadn't invited him as a guest then Geralt would have been gently bullying him into helping out on the day anyway. Not like Eskel minded, he loved Ciri and would happily do anything for her.
The big day rolled round and Eskel turned up early at Geralt's house. There were already balloons around the door, the house inside was decorated with birthday banners and, in true Ciri fashion, dragons. That year she had very sweetly demanded a clown for her birthday and Eskel was curious to see whether Geralt had given in despite his strong dislike of them. Why someone felt the need to put on so much makeup and parade around in ridiculous clothes was beyond reason. Once, while drunk, Geralt had admitted it made him uneasy to the point of it actually being a fear.
"Ah, you're here," Geralt said as he stepped out of the kitchen and spotted that Eskel had let himself in. "I need to have a word with you."
A strong hand wrapped around Eskel's bicep and tugged him into the kitchen. He went willingly enough, curious as to what secret Geralt was going to let him in on this time. They stood in silence for a moment, Geralt watching him with serious eyes.
"Don't fuck the clown."
Frankly, Eskel was a little offended at the request. "Is this because of the demon stripper Yen hired for your birthday?" The look Geralt gave him was answer enough. "Come on, she was hot, was off the clock by the time I took her home. And she kept her horns on."
The punch to the arm should have been expected and Eskel grumbled as he rubbed the soreness left behind. Before he could complain, movement in the garden caught his attention. There was the clown, hauling a large, colourful bag to the small gazebo that had been set up. Suddenly, Eskel understood Geralt's request and he promptly decided it wasn't something to pay attention.
"Oh."
"No." Geralt said flatly as Eskel took one last look at the clown and turned to go out into the garden. "Eskel, I'm serious. No! Don't fuck the clown!"
"I won't," Eskel called over his shoulder. "I'd let him fuck me."
Unfortunately for Eskel, Yennefer was in the garden and seemingly in on the "don't let Eskel fuck the clown" mission. Which was quite rude on several levels. Firstly, Eskel was offended that the other two thought he would jeopardise Ciri's birthday party for the sake of a fuck. Secondly, he was an adult who did not need to be guarded and protected. If he wanted to stick his dick in someone, nobody but he and the intended person had any right to object.
As it was, he still found out the clown was called Lambert and, if Eskel focused then he could make out the most sinfully plush lips under the layers of makeup. It was on pretty thick but Eskel couldn't feel like he was in a place to judge, he'd never had to dress up as a clown before so that slathering was probably normal. It was difficult to make out the true features of Lambert under all of it but Eskel knew for sure he was handsome.
There was no time to get to know Lambert any better because Ciri and her friends turned up in a wild, screaming mass and it was all hands up deck. Balloon animals were the start of Lambert's entertainment and Eskel had to give it to him, he was good. Especially when he looked at the parents with a half made giraffe that most definitely looked like a cock before becoming something more child friendly. Eskel didn't think he'd snorted that hard in a long while. It actually hurt.
Next came the cake and Lambert took a well earned break. Well, not quite, because he happily made crowns for all the adults, showing them how to untwist them into swords if they wanted a fight later on when the children had gone. And he winked at Eskel when he gave him a crown and a dubious looking sword that was most certainly two twists away from being a cock.
"Just how many balloon cock shapes do you know?" He had blurted out and quietly adored the smug smirk Lambert sported.
"All of them. But I like to model them on real life ones. And I don't have a model at the moment."
Eskel barely held back on a guffaw at such a blatant come on. It was only Geralt's grip on the back of his neck that held him in check, along with the low growl of "you will not fuck the clown."
"Not while he's wearing large circus trousers," Eskel had agreed.
His composure was totally wrecked by Lambert cocking an eyebrow at him. "Want to see what's under the big top?" Because yes, Eskel really did.
After cake and presents Lambert had a set of magic tricks to show. it started off quite well, nothing impressive but the cards were fun to follow and Eskel saw how sleight of hand worked.
"And now," Lambert announced, pulling a top hat from under the table. "I will make a rabbit appear!"
The top hat did indeed look empty and Eskel was curious whether it would be a real rabbit and whether Lambert kept it to a traditional white on. Getting the children to join in with the chanting, Lambert tapped a wand against the hat and reached into it, only to frown. Rummaging in the hat, he cursed much to the children's delight.
"It seems our magic has gone a bit wonky," Lambert said, not hiding his agitation very well. "Rather than manifesting a rabbit in the hat, we have conjured him up somewhere in the garden."
"Maybe he's up your sleeve?" Ciri called. "You should check!"
There was no way the rabbit was up his sleeve but Lambert dutifully reached in. He pulled out a card, a couple of coins, an unending row of silk tissues, another wand that erupted into a bouquet of flowers. All of it was met by loud laughter and cheering from the children who were rolling around laughing the more frantically Lambert pulled things out.
By pure chance, Eskel gazed out over the garden, only to spot a large white rabbit merrily hopping towards the house. Quietly, he went to grab it, cradling the obviously well loved and spoilt creature, petting it out of habit. Watching Lambert grit his way through a few more rather lacklustre and failed magic tricks, Eskel couldn't help but be thoroughly charmed. He almost missed the growling sigh from next to him.
"Fine. Fuck the clown." Geralt looked utterly resigned.
With Lambert looking a little frayed around the edges, Eskel finally took pity on him. Walking up behind the children, he cleared his throat.
"There I was, trying to have a slice of cake when this suddenly appeared on my plate instead. I don't suppose any of you know anything about it?"
The cheer from the kids was deafening but Eskel only had eyes on Lambert and the almost palpable relief rolling off him in waves.
"Maybe if Lambert would care to whisk this rabbit away, it might bring my slice of cake back."
Rabbit carefully handed over with one last scritch between the ears, Eskel stepped back and happily joined in with the chanting to hide the rabbit in the top hat again. Thankfully it was a success and no rabbit was visible when Lambert showed his audience with a flourish.
After that the children were ushered away and Lambert was left in peace to pack away. Well, mostly in peace. Eskel lingered and watched, curious to see Lambert without the clown makeup.
"That was an entertaining set," Eskel commented, sorely tempted to casually lean against the leg of a gazebo. But it would never hold his weight so he refrained.
"Fucking Rabbit," Lambert growled, much more rigid and tight now that he wasn't performing for children. "I'm going to eat him for dinner if he does that again."
"And how often do you threaten him with that?"
After a telling silence, Lambert snorted. "Every other day. He's a bastard."
Valiantly, Eskel held back from commenting how pets usually turned out like owners. But then he'd have to admit to Lil Bleater being an absolute menace and what would that say about him? Instead he straightened up and sauntered closer to Lambert.
"So, the offer of seeing a pitched tent still available?"
He crowded against Lambert who gave him a once over before nodding. It was all the permission Eskel needed before kissing him, heedless of how makeup smeared against his skin. Behind them, the door to the house was slammed shut and Eskel had to pull away with a chuckle.
"I'm under strict instructions not to fuck the clown." His eyes were dark as he took in the smudged and ruined makeup around Lambert's lips. "So, either the clown fucks me, or you can take your makeup off."
There was hesitation in Lambert's expression. He was obviously torn, lower lip caught between his teeth. "I'm not-" he broke off and his shoulders hunched. "I'm not handsome like you under the makeup."
"I think you're plenty handsome enough. Why don't I help you take it off?"
Another pause before Lambert gave a nod. He sat on one of the chairs after handing Eskel the makeup remover and wipes. It was slow progress but the more Eskel saw, the more he liked. One half of Lambert's face was done and he flinched away from Eskel's touch.
"It's not pretty," he warned and Eskel nodded before reaching again. That time Lambert didn't move away but he was tense as a scar was unveiled.
"You worry that it's not pretty," Eskel rumbled, "yet you called me handsome with all my scars. Double standards much?"
There was no reply but Lambert couldn't meet his eyes. Gently, Eskel wiped the last of Lambert's makeup off and sat back with a grin. "Knew it. Utterly, devastatingly handsome. I'm afraid it's terminal."
That drew a laugh from Lambert at least and Eskel leaned in to kiss the giggled from his lips.
"I think Geralt and Yennefer can handle the kids from here on," Eskel purred. "Why don't I take you home?"
As they left, he sent a cheeky wave to Geralt who was watching them from the kitchen window. Eskel couldn't resist sending him a text from the car though.
"Thanks for the fun afternoon. Don't worry, I didn't fuck the clown. We'll play it safe though, he'll keep the shoes on to keep my knees comfortable though."
The reply from Geralt didn't bear repeating but it had Eskel throwing his head back and laughing.

Prompt 8 with Wukong and MK? I love the Monkey Dad ok. (Love ur writing btw!!!)
HNG Thank you! And hell yeah, any excuse to write Dad Wukong is fantastic! I wasn’t sure what to write for a while, but then I remembered a certain something in the show and their banter in certain episodes and I got an idea and ran with it.
“Yeah, okay, but I’m cooler.” “You sure?”
MK practically jumped as he walked, giddy excitement permeating his entire being as he remembered who was following him. It had taken so many weeks of convincing, but he finally got Monkey King to agree to come to the city and just. Hang out for a few hours. And his timing in agreeing could not have been more perfect!
He wasn’t entirely sure if it was his well crafted and highly logical arguments or the barrage of puppy dog eyes that finally wore down the ancient being, but he would take what he could get. Because he desperately wanted to show Monkey King what even more months of hard work and negotiations had managed to finally produce.
The Monkey King was instantly recognizable, but only if you knew not to look for a monkey. He’d disguised himself as a human as much as he could with no fur in sight (though still the same hair) and he was dressed in pretty basic modern day attire (MK wondered if he was even comfortable wearing this, but Wukong had brushed it off with a “go big or stay home”). Though must like his other forms, his tail couldn’t exactly go away fully and needed to be tucked under the jacket he had tied around his waist and his eyes betrayed his signature color scheme with markings that looked like some very skillfully applied eyeliner. MK now wondered if his eyes always looked like that naturally, given he looked like he wore eyeliner all the time, or if Monkey King made it a point to just look nice for himself every day. He could always ask later.
“Ok, you are going to love this,” He said, pausing in front of the anti-gravity arcade to gesture at it. “Trust me, it’s like the bestest most awesomest thing ever!”
“You’ve been saying that for the last 15 minutes,” Wukong said with a smile, looking for all the world like a calm and confident man. But to MK, he looked… nervous. He wasn’t surprised. The Monkey King had spent most of his missing 500 years in near isolation on an island full of monkeys. People… wasn’t something he was used to again. Not yet.
“Yeah, it is, but you know,” He stopped, gesturing around them. “If you want maybe we could get something to eat or drink first? I mean, it’s not exactly going anywher-”
Wukong put a hand on MK’s shoulder, shaking his head. “I know what you’re trying to do, bud. And I appreciate it. But if you don’t get me in there now you’ll probably spend the rest of the day trying to get me more comfortable and you’ll never show me this ‘bestest most awesomest thing ever!’, ok?” His smile softened as he ruffled the younger’s hair. “C’mon, show me this thing already!”
There was a moment where MK paused, just thinking about what was happening. When they first started training Wukong was already an invader of personal space, yeah, but none of what he did felt really affectionate at all. Just like something a monkey would do. But the hair ruffling? That was a human thing. Monkey King was not doing that on instinct. Either he picked it up from watching human shows or he was making a point to do more human things when he interacted with MK.
And the Monkie Kid had noticed this before in other little things the ancient being had done over the course of their training, like he was acting like Tang or Pigsy now. And he appreciated it.
“OK! It’s right inside!” MK shouted, grabbing the sleeve on Wukong’s shirt and pulling him into the building. He ran along the front wall for only a moment until he reached a corner, standing to the side as he gestured with wide arms to a big bright banner above a shiny new arcade cabinet reading ‘Coming Soon: Monkie Kid Run!’
“You have a GAME!? Is that ME!?” Wukong couldn’t help his surprise, looking at the intricate design on the cabinet in awe. Right on the top of the front were clearly himself and MK on opposite sides of the title, their friends peppering the rest of the sides of the front surrounding the screen. Various demons, all recognizable, ran along the side in the same beautiful art work and… “Hold on… This is your art. MK, did you make this? Is this why you asked for my lawyer?”
“Yeah! Kinda,” MK puffed out his chest. “The company wanted to have the rights to make a game based on me and it took a lot of legal back and forth but I managed to get it worked out where they have the rights to the game but I own the trademarks and the art everything, except for yours you have that! And the others. And all the demons, I kinda had to get them to sign some paperwork and offer them royalties and the lawyer really handled that part but I’m surprised so many of them agreed to it and- NO, that’s not important!” He gestured to the cabinet again, smiling widely as he waved a swipe card in front of him. “The important thing is I have a special activation card to play whenever I want and I want you to be the first person who gets to play this and I want to play it with you!”
For a moment the Monkey King didn’t say anything. He just stared at the game and MK, eyes wide and shining and after a moment he finally ran a hand through his hair and let out a chuckle. “Kid, I don’t say this lightly. But I am so fucking proud of you right now. Let’s play this game.”
MK beamed, swiping the card as he initially went to stand in the player two slot before he felt Wukong grab his arms and pick him up and stand him in front of player one. “Oh no, nope, your game. You get to be player one.”
Unable to help the laugh that bubbled up, MK watched as Wukong studied the buttons in front of him. He knew that the monkey knew how to play video games, he had systems in his house to play his own, but given this was completely different from anything else he had ever played he would be understanding if it took him a round to get used to it. “You going to play as yourself?”
“OH yeah,” Wukong laughed, taking a moment to admire how he looked on screen. The kid’s art was good. Amazing even. He’d seen himself so many times in so many different media but this… this was different. This was personal. “I’m cool as hell.”
“Yeah, okay, but I’m cooler,” MK quipped back with a smirk as he selected himself.
“You sure?”
The mock offended gasp of his student made Wukong laugh loudly, almost drawing the attention of a few arcade patrons. “Oh, it is ON! Prepare to get MKOwned Dad!”
“Bring it on!”
MK definitely did not notice that. But Wukong did. Yeah. This was personal. Monkey King was sure this was his favorite. His son had made it after all.

First Date with the Vets - Hange
Big shoutout to @chaotic-nick for making this lovely banner for me!
Overall Summary: I had this idea to do a first date with the vets and what it would be like. I am including Erwin, Levi, Miche, and Hange in this list. Each date will be different, but all of them will be set in modern au.
Check out Miche’s story here, Erwin’s story here, Levi’s story here
Pairing: Hange x Masc!Reader
Content: All fluff
Word Count: ~ 5,300
Summary: Reader is getting ready to close up his shop for the night and start his Friday night when just before it’s time to close, a familiar face walks in the shop. Will this change his plans for the night?
A/N: Here I am again, writing for a masculine reader. I hope I did okay :) I am also still trying to get better at writing Hange and because of that, I may make mistakes with they/them pronouns and other non-gender specific things. Please let me know how I can fix it if I’ve made a mistake. Thank you!
Also, I wasn’t planning to post this today, but you know what? I don’t care. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
The clock on the wall continued to tick as slowly as it had been the last hour, each time you checked it, you swore it slowed down even more. You nibbled on your thumb nail again, tapping your fingers on the counter as you looked out the front window. It was one of those nights that felt cold, rainy and wet. The ground was wet, but it wasn’t actually raining. There were no umbrellas necessary, but you could still feel that rainy day mood.
The weather meant most people were either inside or at a café, trying to pull as much of the cozy feeling that they could. Not the best night to be at a bookstore. Especially an old bookstore without a café. You definitely mentioned this to your boss, but no such luck. It would have been a nice addition.
Normally Friday nights were quite busy and normally you loved being there. This Friday was a bit different. For once you had plans to go out and these were plans you were actually looking forward to.
Your friend had called you up last week saying she had tickets to an art show just down the street from where you work. It’s not that you were a huge fan of art, but you really liked the idea of being able to be out without having to get looks from people because you were alone.
It was the whole reason you loved living in the city. There were so many things you were able to do by yourself, but still have people around you. The was basically a dream for you being an introvert. Plus, it’s not that there was an issue finding someone to hang out with, you just preferred doing things alone. At least, you had yet to find someone you were interested in spending time with.
You checked the clock again. Twenty minutes left. You sighed and brought your thumbnail to your mouth again. It looked like the rain was actually picking up. More umbrellas were popping open and you watched the droplets of water roll down the front window. The rain wasn’t going to slow you down though. If anything, it meant there might be less people interested in an art showing and you could have the place to yourself.
You continued watching the rain droplets rolling down the window, periodically checking the time, until you recognized a familiar Starry Night umbrella. The walk of the person holding the umbrella was even more familiar.
It was maybe four months ago that Hange Zoe first walked into the bookstore. You were working that day, standing in the exact same spot. They had never come in the bookstore before, you were very sure of that because had they come in, you would have remembered them. Still, the second they stepped foot inside, it was as if they knew the place, as if it were their bookstore and not your boss’s.
At the time, you didn’t realize that anytime Hange came in, they would be searching for the most random and hard-to-find book in existence, but after about a month of that happening, you quickly realized that when they walked in, you would be having to place an order for them. You were pretty sure that’s what brought them into your bookstore in the first place since you ran a specialty bookstore. Still, Hange found a way to get you searching for books you had never even heard of.
The first book they wanted was a very old and very specific ethics textbook. You had no idea what they needed that for, but you knew you didn’t carry it in the store. They waited by the spinning display of sunglasses while you filled out the form. Yes, your boss decided to sell cheap sunglasses in the front as well as those keychain nametags, but couldn’t find a reason to open a café.
Your eyes kept taking glances at Hange while they tried on the most ridiculous glasses meant for the children that came in. You laughed to yourself as you finished filling out the form and called your boss over to sign the order form.
“What is it?” He asked, carrying a stack of books that you knew he was going to have you stocking later on.
“She’s looking for this book.” You pointed to the order form.
“It’s actually ‘they’.” Hange spoke so nonchalantly that you weren’t actually sure if they were speaking to you or to themselves in the star sunglasses they’d put on.
“Pardon?”
“I use they/them pronouns.” Hange gave a wide grin, peaking around the spinning display.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” You had hoped your face wasn’t showing how uncomfortable you were feeling. You hated making mistakes like that. You hoped that they weren’t annoyed with you for that mistake. Based on the smile they had on their face, they weren’t bothered at all.
“No problem.” Hange was still smiling and there was something so contagious about the way they smiled. Something about the open-mouthed grin that made it seem like they were constantly half a step away from giggling that always got you to smile back.
“They are looking for this book.” You looked back down at the order form, still smiling. “I need your signature to order it.”
Your boss took the form and signed it, handing it back to you and you couldn’t help but stand there watching Hange trying on another ridiculous pair of sunglasses. This time, it was a Halloween themed pair with one square lens and one circle. It really was the stupidest addition to the bookstore, but that day was the first time you were happy that it was there. You laughed to yourself as you watched them try to realign the glasses in a spot they didn’t fit in.
“Mx. Zoe.” Hange looked up and skipped over to you.
“I will place the order today and for most books, they come in after a couple days, but since yours is quite specific, it may take a week or two.” You explained everything to them and gave them their receipt. “Please make sure you bring your receipt in when you come to pick it up.”
You watched their attention move from you to the receipt to the card on the table. They slowly reached up and picked up the card, reading the text and flipping it over.
“You guys repair old books?” Their eyes moved up to you and you nodded.
“It’s another one of our specialties.”
“I have a couple old books I’ve been scared to read because of how fragile they were when I bought them.” They put the card in their bag.
“There are some limits to what we’re able to fix, but if you bring them in, I can take a look.” You smiled widely, hoping to see them smile once more before they left.
“I’ll see you tomorrow then.” They flashed a wide smile and that time you actually did laugh. A laugh which you covered up with a cough and scratched your head, pretending to tend to something on your computer. You watched Hange walk out and realized you had something to look forward to.
The next day Hange came in with a crate of books. You smiled at the cuteness of the little huff they gave after setting the books on the counter in front of you. Your smile quickly dropped as you saw the books they had.
“Where did you get these?” Your eyes were wide. Most were books that you would never be able to get your hands on, order form or not.
“Lots of different places,” they explained as you reached your hands in to pull out the first book.
“Do you collect these?” You couldn’t take your eyes away from the books. They were in pretty bad shape, but the fact that they owned these was amazing.
“Some of them are books I’ve been wanting to read. Others I’ve read online and really wanted to own the original.” You could feel the smile on their face, but found it so hard to look away from the original binding.
“These are amazing.” You smiled, finally looking at them. They were just as excited as you and their smile widened even further.
“This one’s my favorite.” Hange reached in the crate and pulled out a severely crumbling textbook. “Vicki is in back shape.”
“You named your book Vicki?”
“It’s a Victorian era medical textbook detailing surgery of the time. What would you name it?” Hange explained.
“I wasn’t questioning the name choice, but the fact that you—never mind.” You chuckled to yourself. “Vicki is a great name.”
“Thanks, Fuzzy.”
“Fuzzy?” “Your beard. It looks like it’s coming in nicely.”
“Thanks.” You rubbed your two-day old stubble, a little embarrassed that someone noticed you forgot to shave and a lot embarrassed that Hange seemed to like it. Maybe embarrassed was the wrong word. Hange never lingered though and just after complimenting you, they moved on to the next thing that caught their attention. In this case it was the receipt you handed them and they started signing.
“I imagine this will take some time to get through.”
“For this amount, it will probably take at least two weeks,” you started, “We are closed on Mondays which is when we get the book repairs done.”
“Like a vets office.” Hange smiled and gave you the signed receipt. “Spaying and neutering on Wednesdays.”
“Like a vets office.” You nodded, laughing to yourself at the connections they always made.
“I’ll see you around, Fuzzy.” They waved good-bye and walked out.
From that day, you always looked forward to any exchange you were able to have with Hange. It was always a good day when they came into the shop and each time they came in, they would stay longer and longer chatting with you about new books that came into the store or new books that they acquired. You often wondered what their apartment looked like considering how many books they talked about.
Seeing their smile as they walked into the bookstore on that rainy Friday night made you really happy that there was still twenty minutes before closing. Hange stepped inside and shook the extra water off their umbrella before bringing it inside. They threw the hood of their raincoat back and smiled.
“Heya, Fuzzy.”
“Hey, Hange. You here to check the status of that book you ordered?” You leaned over the counter and smiled at them.
“That, I am.” They took off their raincoat and you watched them fail at hanging it up a couple times before finally getting it to stay on the coat rack. “Please tell me you have some good news for me.”
“I do have some good news.” You watched their face light up in a huge smile. “It’s not about your book though. Apparently, it’s not supposed to rain all weekend.”
“I see what you did there.” They pointed their first finger at you and narrowed their eyes, quickly breaking it with a laugh. “Good thing I don’t get disappointed easily.”
“One of my favorite things about you.” Hange’s excitement for books always seemed to remind you of your own.
“Got anything good coming in?” They hopped up to sit on the counter next to where you were leaning, something the boss hated them doing. Hange always did it anyway and you found it incredibly endearing.
“Not this week.” You stood up straight, turning yourself to lean against the counter. “Most if it is stuff you already have.”
“Aw shucks.” They took the inventory chart from you to take a look. Another thing the boss didn’t like, but you found adorable. You watched the way their glasses slipped down their nose as they scanned over the list. “Not bad. You guys are actually starting to become a specialty store.”
You laughed loudly at their comment. Since the beginning, Hange was always criticizing the lack of textbooks that were offered in the store. Your boss liked to focus on rare fiction, but Hange loved non-fiction more than anything. Textbooks on ethics, medicine, dinosaurs, you name it. It was always the first complaint out of their mouth when they checked the inventory.
“I don’t think anyone’s collection will come close to yours.” You watched as Hange smiled shyly. It didn’t take you long to realize that no matter how much you tried to compliment how they looked, they never noticed it as a compliment. That is until one day you commended their commitment to building a library in their spare bedroom and the blush that reached their cheeks that day was on your mind for weeks. You always tried to find ways to flatter them through their achievements after that.
“Such is the life of a crazy professor.” They lifted their hands, palms up, in an expressive display and you laughed. “Any plans tonight?”
“I have this art show I got invited to.” You shrugged it off, not sure if Hange liked art so you didn’t want to seem too interested. “I uh… I’ve never really been into art, but this one seemed good.”
“That sounds like fun.” You watched them kick their feet lightly forward and there was a small voice in your head that told you to invite them to the show. You didn’t want them to feel obligated, but this was a chance to bring your work friendship to possibly something more. For all Hange knew, you lived in this bookstore.
You both heard a noise outside and watched as a little kid tripped on the sidewalk. His mom picked him up and kept walking.
“I hope he’s okay,” Hange whispered. You were pretty sure your window to ask them to the art show closed. It would be weird if you asked them about it now. You sighed.
“What about your plans?”
“Just going home. Maybe watch a documentary.” They’re just going home. Dang it. It would have been perfect for you to ask them. You tried not to beat yourself up over it and instead enjoy the short time you got with them before you would have to leave.
You were both laughing and joking as you normally did when they walked into the shop that you completely forgot to keep track of the time. You caught a glimpse of their watch and saw that the bookstore should have closed thirty minutes ago.
“Oh!” You jumped up. “I have to close up.”
“Oh man, sorry.” Hange jumped off the counter. “Here I am, just talking away.”
You moved to the back counter and flicked off all the lights and shut down the computer systems. Hange moved up front and you met them by the door as they put their raincoat back on and opened their umbrella. You locked up and turned to them.
“Well, enjoy your art showing, Fuzzy.”
“Thanks.” You smiled, not feeling as excited to go now that you didn’t ask Hange to join. “Enjoy your documentary.”
They nodded and turned around and you watched them walk through the crowd of people. You were going to turn around and start walking to the showing, but you couldn’t get yourself to move. You should have asked them. What a wasted opportunity. You sighed again before your feet started moving forward, not in the direction of the showing, but in the direction of Hange. When you realized what you were doing, you started running.
“Hange!” You called after them and ran even faster to catch up. They turned around at their name and looked at you, confusion crossing their face. “Do you… maybe want to come with me? I’m pretty sure I can bring a guest.”
The realization that you just asked them to hang out with you outside of your bookstore hit you quickly and your cheeks started heating up, your hand instinctively moving to the back of your head and you laughed at yourself. A smile also grew on Hange’s lips.
“I think I’d like to.” They nodded, putting their arm out for you. You closed your umbrella and took their arm with one hand and held their umbrella with the other. You reached for your phone to message Fenmore quickly.
[Fen, is there any way you can add a plus one for me at the art show? I’m bringing someone :) ]
[You have a date!!!]
[It’s not really a date.]
[At least I don’t think it is.]
[I don’t know 😩]
[It seems like a date! You both are in]
[Good luck!]
You stuffed your phone back in your pocket and turned to Hange and started walking to the art gallery. It wasn’t far, just a couple blocks away from the bookstore, but you couldn’t stop thinking that this was possibly a date and it made you so nervous which made the couple blocks feel like miles. When you did finally get to the door, you breathed a sigh of relief and walked inside.
“I think there’s a couple artists at this showing,” you said, reaching for a pamphlet. “I don’t really know much about many of them.”
“Me neither.” They smiled at you. “I may love studying, but art wasn’t really on the top of my list.”
You started with the first art piece in the pamphlet, standing in front of it and waiting. You tried to look around and see what everyone else was doing. This plan of getting to spend more time with Hange was becoming a fail because you had no idea about art. You didn’t want to say anything weird if they were liking it, but you really didn’t think you could just silently look at all these pieces. Honestly, some of them were weird.
“This one’s nice.” You turned to them and smiled.
“Yes, very nice.” They smiled.
“What’s it called?” You leaned forward to look at the information card. “Abandoning All Hope… ah.”
Lovely.” Hange nodded and you swallowed hard. This was bad. This was really bad. You both moved to the next one, the artwork looking a little happier.
“This one looks bright.” You turned back to Hange and they read the title card.
“It’s called Basking in Sadness.”
“Jesus.” You rubbed your temples and closed your eyes.
“According to the description,” They started, “the artist was sick as a child and often had to stay inside. So when he would see sunny days and be stuck inside, he felt sad.”
“I suppose that makes it a bit better.” You scratched your head. “Still sad.”
You both continued and hoped that the art would get better at making conversation naturally flow between you both. It was weird how well you conversed in the bookstore, but now you were really struggling with what to say. You walked up and the next piece looked like a murder scene.
“Gosh, I really have no idea what any of this means.” You finally admitted. “Sorry, I’m really not as big into this kind of art.”
“Oh good!” Hange laughed. “I’ve had no idea of anything since we walked in.”
You look quickly to them and smiled.
“I thought the bench out front was part of the exhibit until I saw someone sit on it.” You both laughed and a man walked up to you with a tray and glasses of champagne. You turned to Hange and they nodded, grabbing a glass.
“Well, to having no idea what we’re doing here.” You held up your glass and Hange clinked it and you both drank quickly.
After the first glass of champagne hit, you started feeling a lot more comfortable. The artwork still made no sense to either of you, but you were having fun. When the man came back around a short while later, you grabbed another glass and another glass and another glass. Before you knew it, you and Hange were five glasses in and finally the art was starting to make sense to you.
“Wait, wait, this one. Do this one.” Hange stood next to the artwork giggling and you rubbed your chin.
“Hmm, it’s definitely about a mother.” You had no right to be as confident as you were when Hange looked at the title card, turning back to you with a surprised look on their face.
“A Mother’s Touch. How did you do that?” They couldn’t believe it. You grabbed Hange’s arm and pulled them next to you, pointing at the picture.
“You see all those swirls look like arms. Like a hug.”
“I do not see that at all.” They laughed. “Do the next one!”
You stood in front of the painting and thought about it, but your eyes kept drifting over to Hange. They weren’t looking at you which only made it harder to focus on the painting. If they could see you, then you’d have a reason to look away, but their eyes were glued to the artwork and yours were glued to them.
“There’s no way you’re going to get this one.” They leaned back up from looking at the title card and faced you and you quickly looked back at the painting. “No way at all.”
“Something with a snake.”
“How!?” They put their palm on their forehead and smiled. “Snake’s Path. How did you know?”
“Come on.” You laughed. “Let’s go to the next one.
“Wait, I’m getting more champagne.” They started moving towards the bar. “The one they’re passing out now is cheap. I want the good stuff.”
“Make sure you bring me a glass.”
“I’m bringing the whole bottle, Fuzzy.” You laughed and went to look at the next artwork while you waited. It was a short wait and you felt a tap on your shoulder.
“Excuse me, sir?” You turned to see a man standing behind you.
“Yes?”
“Is that your date?” The man pointed to Hange and you looked over his shoulder to see them at the bar. You started thinking about them being your date and it made you smile this time, your nerves from earlier completely calmed with alcohol. Hange was still at the bar and you watched them debating with the bartender. It really reminded you of how great they are. Hange never got scared of confrontation like you did.
“Yep.” You smiled proudly. “That’s them.”
“I’d like to let you know that she is causing quite the—”
“They. Their pronoun is they.” You corrected.
“Well they are trying to steal alcohol from the bar. We’re going to have to ask you both to leave.”
It took everything you had no to burst out laughing on the spot, but you managed to hold it in enough to make it to Hange and you both walked outside. Once outside, you both started laughing hysterically, holding your belly as you tried to catch your breath. It was nice outside now. The rain had stopped and it left the air fresh and cool which felt great against your heated cheeks. You both stopped laughing and looked at each other.
“It’s a nice night.” Hange smiled.
“Yeah. Thanks for coming with me.” You smiled back, taking a deep breath.
“Anytime, Fuzzy.”
You didn’t want to say good night. You weren’t ready to leave yet. There really wasn’t anything else to do though. It was probably nearing eleven at that point and you weren’t sure if Hange had things to do in the morning. But you still didn’t want to say good night just yet.
“Do you want to go to the bookstore?” You asked without thinking. “We got a new shipment you might like.”
Hange smiled, a strange look in their eyes as they looked at you.
“You liar.”
“What?”
“I saw the shipment earlier,” they explained, “You showed it to me and told me I wouldn’t like any of it.”
“Oh, right.” You looked down, laughing at your ridiculous attempt to spend more time with them.
“But I would still like to go to the bookstore with you.” You looked at them quickly.
“You would?” You couldn’t hold back your surprised face at that.
“Lead the way, Fuzzy!” Hange linked arms with you and you both walked back the couple blocks to the bookstore. This time, the walk was a lot faster.
You unlocked the door and were about to step inside when you realized that Hange wasn’t with you anymore. It made no sense considering they linked their arm with yours. You leaned around the corner, looking for them, but they weren’t there. It was possible that they changed their mind, but they didn’t know how to tell you and just went home. That didn’t really seem like them though.
“Fuzzy!” You turned around and saw Hange running over to you with a bottle of convenience store wine and you both laughed.
“After you.” You gestured them inside and started looking for some cups. You only had a couple small dixie cups, but they worked well enough. Hange poured a glass for each of you and you tapped your cups together, spilling wine on the floor.
“So how many years before I get to walk into your bookstore?” They asked. At first you misunderstood, thinking they were talking about the bookstore you both were in.
“Ah.” You smiled. “I think it’s a while before that.”
Your dream of owning your own bookstore came up in conversation with Hange more often than you ever thought it would ever. They genuinely seemed interested in it and seemed to be your biggest cheerleader when it came to opening it. Normally when people would ask you about it, you felt rushed and like you were behind. Almost as if they were saying ‘you still haven’t opened it yet?’ but not with Hange. Never with Hange. They made it seem like you were right on track and your dream would be here sooner than you thought.
You looked over at them and smiled. It was amazing how pretty they were. You definitely noticed it the first time they walked into the bookstore last summer, but you wondered if you were the only one to see it. There’s no way. There was no way that someone as intelligent and funny and kind and so beautiful didn’t constantly get asked out. You must just be lucky enough to catch them on a free day.
“You know what Fuzzy?” You looked over at them as they spoke, their eyes still looking down at the empty cup of wine. “I’m glad you asked me to the art showing.”
They giggled a little to themselves, possibly remembering what a hot mess it was inside the gallery. Or perhaps building the courage to say what looked to be sitting on the edge of their mind.
“I don’t get asked to do much these days. Not since moving to the city.” Hange hiccupped and you tried to understand how that was possible. “But I’m having a lot of fun. Thank you.”
You weren’t really sure what to do. You really couldn’t believe it. You managed to smile when they looked up at you.
“It’s my pleasure.” You stared at them, maybe a bit too long, but you couldn’t look away. Hange’s eyes were lidded, tired from all the alcohol you both had. But seeing their drunken smile and hearing their small hiccups had your heart beating quickly. They reached forward and put their hand on yours and you looked down at it. “Oh! I wanted to show you something.”
You jumped up from the ground and helped pull Hange up with you. You walked towards the backroom and halfway there realized you were holding Hange’s hand as you pulled them behind you. It was so soft and so warm and you were thankful for the alcohol letting you do things that you normally would second guess at every moment.
“It’s up there.” You dropped their hand and did your best to reach the top shelf, barely touching the bottom of the books you wanted. “Maybe if you try.”
“We’re the same size.” They laughed.
“Oh right.” You were both laughing and they handed you a shoe and you grabbed it, trying to shimmy the books down. “Wait, whose shoe is this?”
When you turned to look at them they were smiling and you looked down at their feet and couldn’t hold back your laughter at their feet missing a shoe.
“Here, climb on my shoulders.”
“Great idea.” They hopped up and reached for the books. This time they were able to grab them and slowly pull them from the shelf.
Your balance was surprisingly good considering how intoxicated you were. You were looking up and focusing on making sure Hange got the right books. As soon as you saw them grab it, they handed them down to you, one-by-one, and you set them on the table next to you.
“Last one!” Hange placed the book in your hands and you set it down. They threw their hands up out of excitement and you finally lost your balance as they moved back and forth. “Oh!”
Hange started to fall backwards and you quickly bent forward, giving them a way to hop down as you grabbed them before they fell. You managed to catch your balance and Hange fell into your arms and you both fell backwards onto the floor, Hange on top of you.
Their face was so close to yours and you reached up to fix their glasses, smiling at them. You couldn’t help but notice how warm they were, how soft their body felt up against yours, how much prettier they were up close and how badly you wanted to kiss them.
“Hange.” You took a breath, not sure if you were going to be able to do it. “I’m going to kis—”
Before you could finish your sentence, Hange bent down quickly, pushing their lips against yours. At first your eyes widened from the sudden movement, but then when you realized what was happening, you slowly closed them, your arms moving around their back and up to their face.
You rotated your head a bit, trying to get a better angle so your noses weren’t smashed against each other and your tongue slipped out to brush against their lips. Hange opened their mouth and brought their hands to your hair, their long fingers delicately moving along your scalp and you sighed into their mouth. The butterflies in your stomach were going crazy and you couldn’t believe how good it felt.
Hange slipped their tongue into your mouth and you moved your hand to their hair. You had always noticed how silky and shiny their hair was, but feeling it in your hands was a whole different story. You rolled yourself over so you laid on top of them and Hange let out a gasp, pulling back so they could laugh at the sudden movement.
They really were so completely dazzling and you watched them, smiling yourself, until they stopped laughing and looked at you.
“You’re beautiful.” You brushed a hair out of their eye and smiled. “I suppose a stepladder would have been safer.”
“It wouldn’t have been as fun.” They wrapped their arms around you and pressed their lips against yours.

One Color Missing
“We’re still missing our third.” Serafine noted as she pressed a kiss to her soulmate’s bare shoulder. Nialah was mostly focused on her head-scarf, which was silky and pink today, but she leaned back against Serafine happily. Their meeting had been one of chance. The daughter of a warlord and the hero who reluctantly entered peace talks to fight the rise of a terrible enemy neither of them could face alone. Of course, the peace talks got a great deal easier when they realized they were soulmates. “It’s been a year since we found each other.”
Their bond was the most uncommon of all the many forms of soulmate-marks. Colors bloomed over their skin wherever they touched. Serafine left deep green patterns that swirled over Nialah’s skin like the celebration paint her people cherished, and Nialah’s saffron yellow almost looked like the beautiful script the desert people wrote in.
But they both knew they were missing someone. A third in their bond, who would mark their skin, complimentary to color and mark, and beloved without ever meeting them.
“It’s been more than a year since we found each other,” Nialah agreed and smiled down at the green scrollwork that now spread over her shoulder, following Serafine’s lips. She reached up to run her fingers over Serafine’s cheek and left her golden script behind her trailing fingers. “They aren’t ready.”
“We’ve been dreaming about them, and they’ve probably been dreaming about us too. How can they not be ready?”
The dreams were longing, and always seemed to have some impassable barrier between them and their third. They hadn’t seen a face, yet, or even been able to tell if it was a man or woman they sought. Nialah was patient. Serafine was notably not.
“Hold this for me,” Nialah instructed her. Serafine held the edge of the scarf in place as her soulmate pinned it down carefully, ensuring every bit of her hair was neatly covered by the pink silk. The inner pins were simple and flat so as not to press uncomfortably, but the ones that were visible glittered with gems. They had been some of Serafine’s first courting gifts when they met. “My love, we will find them when the Sun wills it, and no sooner. What do we gain for rushing?”
“They’re hurting,” Serafine muttered resentfully. That, they agreed on. They could hear screaming in some of the dreams, and neither of them were taking their soulmate’s pain well. “We can keep them safe. You’re the finest tactician in half the world, and I was chosen by the gods. If we can’t protect them between us, who can?”
Finished with her scarf, Nialah wrapped her flowing, gownlike robes around herself and tied her sash with practiced hands. Serafine, of course, was already dressed in the close-fitting mage-robes that showed her expertise and rank in her craft. Together, they made for a striking pair, which amused Nialah and pleased Serafine. They weren’t yet married, but everyone knew that a soulmate bond, especially one as rare and distinctive as theirs, made marriage somewhat redundant.
“We will find them, dear one,” Nialah said, and stroked her finders through Serafine’s red hair, which fell over her shoulders in loose waves. Serafine sighed and leaned into her, relying on the easy steadiness of her soulmate to anchor herself. Neither of them had an easy path to walk, but at least they walked it together. “And we will destroy whoever dares to harm them.”
People looked at Nialah and assumed she was the gentle one, with her sweeping, gauzy gowns and elegant head-scarves.
They didn’t see the keen intelligence, more deadly than any blade, that hid beneath. Nialah’s father had discovered it first, and found the best tutors for his brilliant daughter. By the age of ten, she could outmatch half her father’s generals with a blade or on the battlefield. By twenty, she was the finest tactician in their generation.
No one underestimated her twice.
Serafine loved her completely.
She, of course, had been born a nobody until the gods decided to drop magic beyond mortal ken atop her, and sent her off with vague, poorly-defined directions to save the world. Now she had her mage-mastery, enough magic to be an army herself, and a soulmate who made all the trouble worth it.
Of course, the only reason they met was because someone, or something, had decided to start conquering most of the west half of their continent and didn’t show any signs of stopping with just half. Nialah’s father, who owned most of the easthalf of the continent, was not at all pleased and raised his banners.
Serafine fell into the whole drama through a series of remarkably catastrophic accidents. All the same, they were together, fighting to protect their people, and hoping that one of the people they saved would be their missing third soulmate.
“I hate waiting,” Serafine said, just because it was true, but also because it would make Nialah smile, which it did. “One of us is patient, and it’s not me.”
“I’ve seen you sit for hours in meditation or while you cast,” Nialah pointed out with a chuckle and leaned over to kiss Serafine sweetly. Their soulmarks were fainter on lips than anywhere else, which Serafine suspected was something to do with the expressions of love, but they still showed, green against Nialah’s dusky skin and gold against the pale of her own. “You can be patient, dear one.”
“Magic is different. This is our soulmate. They need us.”
“And we will find them,” Nialah promised gently, and took her hand. “But until they are ready and the Sun wills it, they will remain hidden from us. Now come with me. We have a war to run.”

Birthday Escapade.
A Malleus Draconia and reader birthday fic.
Words: 2488.
Coloured banners were strung up on the walls, decorating the Diasomnia dorm in an almost welcoming glow. Black and green lines of fabric, embroidered with the inviting message of celebration. What had once been a room of polite gathering, had transformed into a much liver scene. Purple vines stuck out from the ground, acting more as decoration to the party, mimicking the witches of thorns power. Tables covered with delectable food as far as the eye could see. Edible works of art displayed for anyone to reach out and take. The most lavished of cakes being saved for the main table. The centrepiece of the room, almost impossible to miss, was a black sign coated in thorns, spindling a twisted birthday wish. Lilia had wasted no expense making sure everything was perfect. He had planned the entire thing. After all, this wasn't just anyone's birthday. It certainly was a change of pace for the normally dark and dreary castle.
The entire Diasomnia dorm seemed more colourful than usual, and not just aesthetic wise. The sombre atmosphere was lifted with the sounds of delightful laughter and idle celebration. Students of the dorm gathered in the main foyer, enjoying themselves as they chatted away to their fellow classmates without a care in the world. However, the most important aspect of this celebration was missing.
Malleus Draconia was no where to be found.
His guards, Sebek and Silver, had been scouting the dorm trying to find their lost master. They had checked down every hallway and searched all the rooms. Not a single stone was left unturned nor a speck of dust lingered in the process. They were at their wits end. Sebek's voice boomed throughout the dorm, ricocheting off the stone castle walls. Malleus's name sounded akin to thunder as it stormed every inch of the perimeter. It was uncertain which would give out first. His voice or the other students eardrums.
You, however, knew better than to waste time on searching Diasomnia. If Malleus had fled, there was no way he would stick to the confines of the dorm. That was just too simple. Begrudgingly you left the Diasomnia dorm and headed back towards the hall of mirrors. When thinking of a safe heaven, there was only one place that came to mind. You knew exactly where he would be.
Ramshackle. It was very different compared to the other dorms. A shabby and old building that was as creepy as it was comforting. An uneven fence carved from iron surrounded the perimeter, acting more like a cage, warning those who pass by not to trespass. The vacant space and lack of activity made people wonder if it was simply just unfinished or abandoned. It certainly looked run down, even more so before Azul had it refurbished to extend his business. Luckily for you, that plan never came to fruition, so you could keep the haunted mansion you called home.
As you approached, you could see the last remnants of winter still holding onto the Ramshackle dorm. Snow melted into the ground, slowly decaying into the soil as the seasons begin to change. The sugar coated season sluggishly torn away to be replaced with another. It wasn't hard to miss him. His raven black hair and pointed horns stuck out among the crisp white scenery. He stood against the decaying tree, leaning into the wood as if he was trying to merge himself into the plant. He was looking across the garden, but turned his head around when hearing your approach. "Ah, human." He greeted you casually, giving an affirmative nod of his head. "To what honour do I owe you this visit?"
"Where have you been?" You questioned him, finally making your way up the steps and standing in front of him. He seemed taken aback at your forceful question. Why, he had just greeted you with a polite hello and you were already interrogating him. "The party has already started, and you're not even there!"
Malleus quirked his head to the side. "Oh, was that today?" There was something different about his voice. The way his words lingered in the air, laced with a playful tone that spelled mischief. You looked down at his attire. Black dress shirt with a white suit jacket over the top. Black and green sash. There was no way he dressed up like that on a whim. This surely couldn't have been a coincidence. Malleus noticed your stare, lingering on his outfit for a little longer than necessary. "Must have slipped my mind."
"Please don't tell me someone forgot to invite you to your own birthday." You hated to think he was acting like this because of some kind of petty vendetta against you. It wasn't anything new that people often forgot to invite him to events, whether that be the dorm leader meeting or social gatherings, but his own birthday? That must have cut deep.
Malleus chuckled. "Fuhuhuhu. That would be quite entertaining, wouldn't it? Forgetting to invite me to my own birthday. How quaint." He waved his hand. "No, I received an invite. I was even enjoying myself. And I appreciate how much effort Lilia put into the décor. I've just never been the one to enjoy these types of parties. It just feels so... Strange." Malleus looked down at his attire, emerald eyes observing the trinkets that decorated the white jacket. The handmade broach that resembled the curved horns that stuck out from his head. The black and green coloured badge that all to obviously drew attention to the date. Reminding everyone within a mile radius just who the special birthday boy was. He was used to being adored in lavished clothing, being of royal decent, so having an outfit that was traditional for many others was relieving.
"The concept of birthdays... Forgive me but I've never embraced them fully, never needed to." You gave Malleus a quizzitive look, tilting your head a little to the side, imploring him to elaborate. He understood your plight and began to explain. "Compared to humans, fae live for an unnaturally long time. Our lifespans far surpass your own. Why, generations from now I'll still be alive. Wise with time and knowledge. Watching over the world behind the thicket of thorns. And you'll-" He stopped mid sentence. There was no need to continue. You both knew where you would be generations from now. Malleus blinked, the slightest glint of sadness present in his eyes. Possessing the power of longevity was something that many craved to have, but needless to say it did come with its consequences. The burden weighed on the back of his mind like an oncoming storm.
Malleus cleared his throat, "Very strange indeed. You humans celebrate yearly the date of your birth, yet to us fae it is nothing more than a number. Even though I wish I could feel the same connection to it that you do. Maybe then I wouldn't feel such like an outcast..." Malleus blinked as he felt something touch his head. Unconsciously his hand had reached up towards his horns, bringing attention one of the many aspects about him that was different to humans. He was proud of his fae heritage, but always felt like it held him back when trying to forge connections. "Tell me, human." He brought his hand back down. "Am I forever cursed to be an outcast from a gathering? Even one of my own terms? I'm always one to be vacant, not on my own accord. My invitation being left blank while others have been sealed. So forgive my absence when for once I'm expected to be there."
"Tsunotarou-" You had to stop yourself, almost biting down on your tongue. Now possessing the knowledge of his name, it seemed needless to try and use the old nickname you gave him. It was sentimental, in a way. A name that only you could call him. A name made up on the spot yet seemed to fit a little too well. It always made your heart flutter whenever you used it. The way Malleus's eyes would light up in amusement, entertained by the fact anyone would ever consider calling him something so simple. Sometimes it was hard to conceal the corners of his mouth twinging upward in delight. You apologised and corrected yourself, "I mean, Malleus." It was an easy mistake to make. The way his actual name slipped off your tongue somehow sounded wrong. You had gotten a little too comfortable with that nickname. You hoped Malleus wouldn't mind.
To your surprise, Malleus grinned. A slight chuckle slipped between his lips. He was more taken aback by the fact that had felt the need to correct yourself then the use of his nickname. He was aware of your caution, and reassured you. "You may address me however you wish, child of man." Malleus turned his head to the side, looking off into the distance, and placed an hand thoughtfully on his chin. "I must admit, I have grown quite fond of that little nickname you call me. I do not mind being called that name," His attention was brought back to you, dazzling green eyes locking with your own. He huffed out a small laugh. "If you are the one to address me, that is."
You nodded your head, secretly gracious that he was allowing you to continue using that name. But you needed to address his previous statement. "It's understandable that you would feel this way. Being ostracized from a group can be quite intimidating." You sighed. "Trust me, I've been there. And sometimes it feels like you'll never truly belong." Malleus raised his brow. Were you trying to help him feel better or worse?
"But believe me when I say that the people there want you to be there too. They want you to enjoy yourself just as they have. And..." Your words trailed off. Your own voice getting quieter and quieter until even you couldn't hear it anymore. Words did not fail you at that moment. It was clear what you wanted to say. Whether or not you had the strength to say it was a different matter. Your eyes were in agreement, preferring to look at the ground below you rather than the person in front. Was it really that difficult to show your own emotions? You did genuinely enjoy your time together, and wanted it to last longer. Yet somehow whenever you tried to express this fact to him, something always stopped you. A defence mechanism that instinctively held you back. You looked back at Malleus. He stood still, patiently waiting for you to continue. You were thankful for his tolerance. Giving a curt nod of your head, you took a deep breath in, and exhaled. "...I want you to be there. I want you to be happy, on your special day."
You braced yourself, ready for any sort of negative response. But as you waited in anticipation for a verbal reply, Malleus gave none. Instead he began to laugh. A slight chuckle that started out as a growl, but then gradually grew into a light laugh. He brought his hand up to his mouth, trying to cover it up, but he would have to try harder than that to stifle this laugh. You were confused. Was it something you said? Did it sound condescending? Needy? Selfish? That wasn't your intention at all! You just wanted to give him some reassurance.
His laughter eventually died down, allowing him to breathe steadily again. "Child of man, how presumptuous of you." A light titter escaped from his lips again. Whatever he had found entertaining about your statement, he clearly wasn't done. You furrowed your brow in suspicion as Malleus calmed himself yet again. "I do not need a celebration or to be surrounded by guests to be happy." He took another step closer, towering over you like a gargoyle, but it was not intimidating. The soft look on his face quelled any fears of threatening nature. It was actually quite surprising how peaceful he looked. "With you, I already am."
You had to turn your head away at that, letting out a small squeak that sounded more attune to a quack. Hearing such a genuine sentiment from him felt like wildfire had struck your heart, and it felt like it wasn't going to subside anytime soon. It was wishful thinking, but you hoped you didn't make your answer too evident. However, giving such an obvious expression meant it was easy for him to pick up. Malleus smirked at your reaction. Instinctively he placed his hand upon your head, smoothing his thumb gently over the grooves in your hair. He thought it was cute. Like a docile pet receiving praise.
You waved his hand off of you, not needing to feel anything more at the moment. You had wasted enough time standing here. It would be best to return the birthday boy back to his dorm. "I think we had better get back, your guards are in a frenzy over your disappearance." Malleus let out a small sigh. It was time to return to the party. After all, he wouldn't be considered a very good host if he was missing for the entire event. How else was he suppose to show he was worthy of peoples trust if he did not throw a good party? He was ready to return to the dorm, with you accompanying him. "Yes, I think I've troubled them for long enough."
You laughed, thinking about Sebek and Silver stumbling over themselves trying to find their dorm leader. Lilia wouldn't be too bothered, you thought, if you returned Malleus in time for his celebration. Turning around on your heels, you lead the way back towards the gate, eager to return to the party. At last, you could finally have a piece of that delectable looking cake. It had been on your mind the second you stepped into the dorm.
Before you could place a hand on the gate, Malleus called from behind. "And human?" You stopped in your tracks and turned to face him. He stood still, refusing to move unless he spoke. His face bore the same amused express, but this time it was different. It was gentle. His eyes holding nothing but appreciation for the human that stood before him. Someone who didn't see him as the terrifying figurehead of the Draconia family that so many made him out to be. Someone who wasn't afraid around him. Someone he was very thankful to have met. "Thank you, for seeking me out." He stepped forward, now walking by your side. It felt good for him to have someone beside him that didn't cower in fear nor turn away in intimidation. It made him feel accepted. "And for escorting me back."

Unaccepted Permission Slip {Part 1}
Peter's P.O.V
[A/n: You can use the picture at the bottom as refrence also the picture isn't mine]
"Mr. Parker i will not accept this permission slip"
"Why not?!?!"
"Because your permission slip is signed by Tony Stark-Rogers and we both know that your internship is fake so just give it up and go home"
I was fuming "Fine!!!" I shouted and stormed out of the classroom. If your wondering what happened. Let me explain.
-Flashback-
I accidentally fell asleep in science class because well... I'm not dumb. I already know this stuff. Having Tony Stark-Rogers as a dad and as a mentor before that while also having Bruce Banner teach you has it's perks. I was woken up from sleep by Ned who was trying to shake me awake which definitely worked. Obviously. I lifted my head from my table only to see the teacher glaring at me. I don't know why but the teacher hates me with every bone in her body.
"Now that Mr. Parker is awake" she said glaring at me before she continued.
"We will be going on a field trip next week on Friday. The location will be a surprise but until then everyone must take one permission slip for your parents to sign.
Class dismissed"
Everyone packed their stuff and got up from the seat while mumbling excitedly about the trip. I couldn't care less about the trip but..whatever. I took one permission slip while receiving a (not so) deathly glare from the teacher and walked out of the classroom.
-End Of Flashback-
When i was a few blocks away from my school, i saw Happy waiting for me next to a limo. I went up to him and gave him an apology for the slight delay. He accepted and we both got in the limo with me at the back while Happy sat at the drivers seat and started heading home with me not talking much because i was still mad. Happy kept looking at me frome the rear view mirror but i payed no attention to that and kept looking out the window.
-Timeskip-
I got home and saw that none of my family members were at home probably on a mission. I walked into the living room and saw my (h/c) boyfriend reading on the couch. I smiled, walked over to him (sneakily) and backed hugged him making him drop his book while mumbling something under his breath in surprise. I started giggling at his cute face that he made.
(M/N) 's P.O.V
I was reading a book while waiting for the others to get back because even though I'm the newest member, they said it was "too dangerous" for someone as young as me (although I kicked all of their butts in one go)I was so deep invested with my book that i didn't even realise that someone was sneaking up behind me. When i did realise it, is when i felt someone back hugged me.
"Holy f*cking sh*t" i mumbled under my breath and dropped my book by accident. I heard someone giggling from behind me. I turned around and saw Peter giggling at me. I let out a playful sigh and glared at the giggling boy while picking up my book.
I continued reading my book which is a sign that I'm (slightly) pissed by his actions. He stopped giggling and walked around the couch so he was standing in front of me but i didn't look at him. He took my book, marked the page i was reading and placed it on the table. I was about to protest but he straddled me and kissed me. I melted instantly and kissed back. It got heated after a few minutes and we started making out with Peter on my lap. We we're so distracted that we didn't even realise that the others were back already just staring at us like the creeps they are. We pulled away when we heard someone coughing, trying to get our attention. We turned around and saw the Avengers standing there, some with there arms crossed (Steve, Tony, Loki, Vision, Bruce) while the others we're snickering in the background (Nat, Barton, Pietro, Wanda, Bucky, Sam). Peter was a blushing mess. When he turned to look at me and he saw the mischievous smirk on my face. I gently squeezed his butt and he gave a little squeak in return. He glared at me but my smirk didn't falter one bit. Revenge tastes sweet. He turned back to the others and smiled akwardly.
"Uhm... Hey dad..." Peter said akwardly.
"We'll talk about this later" Tony said with a glare and they left the room.
He turned towards me and smacked my chest while burying his face into my neck.
"I hate you"
"Love you too" i replied with a sly grin on my face.
-Timeskip to dinner-
Peter's P.O.V
Just another dinner night at Stark Tower. My dad was playfully arguing with Uncle Clint (yes i have to call them uncle and aunt except for Pietro and Wanda). Uncle Thor was eating pop tarts for dinner. Uncle Loki was struggling to use his utensils. Pietro was laughing hysterically at him for not being able to use them properly, pushing on Uncle Loki's buttons making him aggravated. Uncle Bucky and Aunt Nat were talking in Russia. The only normal one's were me, (m/n), Uncle Bruce, Vision, my pops aka Steve Stark-Rogers and Wanda. We we're just watching the scene play out infront of us. (m/n) and i was snickering at how childish they we're acting even though we're younger than them (except for Aunt Nat and Uncle Bucky. They looked like they we're talking about something important) until i remembered something.
"Hey Pops???"
"Yes Peter???" he awnsered looking at me.
"Is it okay if i stay home next Friday???"
When those words came out of my mouth everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me suddenly intrigued by what i had to say.
"And why do you want to stay home???" Aunt Nat asked me and i knew i couldn't lie because this is Black Widow I'm talking to and she knows when someone's lie. I sigh in defeat.
"Well...you see..." and i told them about what happend with the teacher not accepting my permission slip and talking trash about me. After i explained all hell broke lose. Aunt Nat was sharpening her knives, Wanda and Loki had magic surrounding them, (m/n) had a little string of (f/c) fire twirling around his fingers, Thor was looking at his hammer probably contemplating how hard he can throw it, Uncle Clint was sharpening his arrows, Pietro feets were looking impatient, Uncle Bruce was turning a little green, Dad was typing something on his phone probably calling his suit, Uncle Bucky was clenching his metal arm and Pops was trying to calm himself down. Well...this is going to be a fun night. (note the sarcasm)
-The Next Morning-
Ned's P.O.V
I was on the bus sitting next to MJ who had her nose stuck in a book and i was looking out the window ignoring Flash yelling insults about Peter being a coward for not coming on this trip with us and about how he was right about his "fake internship" because the teacher told us we we're going to Stark Tower. I have been there on lots of different occasions, most of the time it's because i have an intern ship with Stark industries as well and it was all thanks to Peter. He is most definitely going to be there because he didn't show up to school. This isn't going to end well is it. Oh well... More entertainment and drama for me.
(M/N) 's P.O.V
I was in my room scrolling through my phonewith Peter snuggling into my side. He dies have his own room which is next to mine but he decided to sleep in my room because his dad doesn't really let us sleep in the same room but he does it anyways but i don't mind because i get to cuddle my little spider. I was looking at a cute cat photo which was playing with a leaf when i heard FRIDAY, Starks AI, greeting me.
" Good Morning Mr. (L/n). Tony Stark-Rogers has requested Peter to lead the tour for today at 10 later"
"Thanks Fri. I'll tell him when he wakes up"
FRIDAY hummed in acknowledgement and left. I put down my phone on the bed side table and i turned my body towards Peter which resulted with him cuddled into me and nuzzled his head deeper into my chest (if it was even possible at this point considering about how close we were already)
"Peter, Babe. Time to get up. Your dad said that you need to give a tour to some visitors later at 10"
Peter's eyes fluttered open but he just closed them again and nuzzled his head further into my chest.
"Do i have too? Can't i just cuddle with you?" he said while giving me his puppy dog eyes. I sighed.
"Even if I want to, I need to go on a mission with Clint, Pietro and Tasha in about... *glances at the alarm clock* 5 minutes so I have to go. But don't sweat it, the missions gonna take two hours at least. When I get back I'll come help you with the tour when i get back
Okay??? "
" Fine" he whined and gave me a soft kiss which i gladly returned.
I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to get changed into my outfit which is a hoddie that is as strong as Steve's shield but still flexible, fluffy and comfortable to wear. I put on my fingerless gloves and headed back in my room. When I entered the room again and saw Peter scrolling through his phone. I smiled and walked towards him.
"Bye Pete, I'll see you later" i gave him a kiss on his forehead.
He smiled at me while i grabbed my shape shifting elemental sword and my wireless headphones. I know what your thinking. Why am i bringing a wireless headphones with me to a mission. Well...that's because i fight while listening to music. It enhances my ability to fight and makes it easier for me to use my elements. left the room while waving at him. I put on my (f/c) mask and headed towards where Pietro, Nat and Clint were at so we can get this mission over and done with.
-Timeskip-
Peter's P.O.V
I was sitting at the lounging room, waiting for the visitors to arrive while messing around on my phone. I heard the sliding door open and close but i didn't bother to look up because if they were the visitors, Alicia is going to explain how everything works and how to use the badges before giving them it. Only when she was done i would take over and show them the places that they have access to. While I was scrolling through Instagram, i heard Alicia call my name. I got up from my seat and walked towards them while still looking at my phone. When i reached them i looked up from my phone my eyes were wide as saucers because the visitors were my classmates!!! I have a lot of explaining to do aren't i...
"Uhh... Hey guys..." i said while waving at them awkwardly.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE PUNY PARKER!!!" Flash yelled at me with a hint of rage in his voice.
I rolled my eyes at him and responded to him in a sassy tone.
"I'm actually doing something useful in my life other than waste my time insulting someone. What are you doing???"
Flash was fuming with anger but didn't say anything else while the class, Alicia, Mj and Ned were chuckling because Flash just got told off.
"Okay Peter I'll leave it to you. See you later Mini G" she said while walking and waving.
"Later Alicia" i said while waving back at her before turning back to the rest of the class with stunned faces except Mj and Ned who were chuckling at Flash's stunned face.
"Anyways... I'm going to be your tour guide for today. So, unless you want to spend the rest of the visit outside the tour while the others have a good time, i suggest you keep your mouth if you have nothing nice to say because people at Stark Tower does not tolerate bullies especially Mr. Stark and Mr. Steve Rogers"
I didn't say there actual name which is Mr. Stark-Rogers because it isn't public yet that their married and no one definitely knows that tgey adopted a child aka me. But later on we're going to have a press conference revealing their marriage and me to the public. Flash looked slightly pale but didn't say any insults (or anything in that matter) and Mrs Warren was glarring daggers at me but i couldn't care less about what she thought about me at this point because all i want to do is get back to bed, wait until my boyfriend gets back from his mission and cuddle with him.
"Ok everyone. You need to scan the badges you got from Alicia and walk through the metal detector. You are also not aloud to take pictures during the tour. Any questions???"
Nobody raised their hands and i ushered them towards the scanner and the metal detector. One by one, everyone scanned their badges and walking through the metal detector (their phone don't count). F.R.I.D.A.Y announced their names, badge level and wether or not they have weapons or anything else dangerous. I let Flash walk through for demonstration (don't know why i did), F.R.I.D.A.Y announced his name in the same bored tone she always uses when it wasn't any of the avengers, me, Ned or Mj.
"Eugene Thompson, Omega badge level 2, no weapons"
He looked at me like he finally achieved something in his life. I rolled my eyes at his shit eating grin, scanned my badge (even though I didn't need to because I can scan my face and enter the building without having to waste my time with these badges) and walked through the metal detector.
"Peter, Delta level 10,no weapons detected. Hello Peter nice seeing you use the door once in a while" F.R.I.D.A.Y said with slight sarcasm in her voice but i just sigh in relief because F.R.I.D.A.Y didn't use my full name. But Flash just had to open his goddamn mouth and say something stupid like he always does.
"WHAT DID YOU MEAN USE THE DOOR ONCE IN A WHILE!!!HAVE YOU BEEN BREAKING INTO THE TOWER!!! HUH PUNY PARKER!!! AWNSER ME!!!"
I just ignored him which I do like 90% of the time and waited for the others to get through. While checking my watch to see how long i have left until (m/n) joins us.
-
Almost everyone has gone through except for Ned and Mj. Mj scanned her badge and walked through the metal detector without looking up from the book because she comes here to help Pepper with some business stuff. Oh!!! Did i forget to mention you that Mj is Pepper's assistant. I didn't??? Oh well moving on.
"Michelle Jones, alpha level 8, no weapons detected. Glad to see you Mj" F.R.I.D.A.Y greeted her happily.
"You too Fri"
Everyone's mouth was gaping because the Ai system recognised Mj. The last person was Ned and he got the same exact reaction from the class.
"Ned Leeds, alpha level 7, no weapons detected. Good evening Ned, i hope you enjoy your visit"
"I will Fri"
Flash was slightly annoyed that he didn't get the same treatment but beggars can't be choosers. I coughed slightly to get everyones attention and lead them towards the elevator so we can get started with the tour.
-
We reached the fifth floor so that they can look at the Avengers exhibition for the oldest and newest avengers. Everyone was looking awed and starstruck including Ned (who has been here loads of times) and excluding Mj (because she was still reading her book).
"Ok everyone you have an hour to look around and if you have any questions, you can come and ask me"
And just like that everyone was scattered all over the place looking at all the suits and weapons displayed. Of course they were just replicas of it. I walked around to make sure that they were no inconvenience. Everyone was mostly gawking at my iron spider suit that i got from dad and Elemental's mask, hoodie, headphones and his shape shifting sword especially Flash. He can only dream of wearing our suits. Let alone hold (m/n) 's shape shifting sword because have you seen that thing??? It's pretty epic if i do say so myself.
"Hey loser. Maybe you should explain more about the suits everyones gawking at" Mj said with a knowing smirk and looking up from her book for the first time since she entered the tower.
It's not really a surprise that she knows my relationship with (m/n) because the whole tower knows and thinks were a cute power couple. I returned her smirk and started to explain about the origins of the suits and (m/n) 's weapon.
"Well the Iron Spider was designed by Mr Stark for Spiderman when he was first offered a spot as an Avengers. He turned down the offer at first deciding just to stick on being a friendly neighbourhood Spiderman but he joined in the end after some complications"
I finished my explanation for the Iron Spider and looked at everyone. They were all listening to me very intently on the origins of the Iron Spider (with the exception of Mj who was still reading her book). I countinued onto Elemental's origin.
"Elemental is the newest member of the Avengers who joined almost a month ago. His sword can shape shift to any kind of weapon you can think of such as an axe, a bow and arrow, a bow staff and much more but i think that it be too long of an explanation if i kept going on. He can control natural elements which are fire, water, wind, ice, light, dark, and nature. Whichever power he choses has it's own abilities. He can also transport the elements into his weapon. For example if he was using an axe as a weapon and he transported his fire element into the axe it would turn into a fire axe. Any questions??? " I saw somebody raise their hand at the back.
"Yes you at the back" i said while pointing at the person at the back.
"How did the Avengers meet Elemental because he was annouced as one but nobody got an explanation"
"Good question. Well nine months before he was announced as an Avenger, the Avengers were in a battle with Red skull. They almost died when he was suddenly frozen and he was shattered tp a million pieces. They saw a silhouette of a person but his face was covered with a black face mask. After months of searching and researching for this person. At first he refused to join but he caved in the end after some persuasion by Spiderman. Anything else???? "
Someone was about to ask another question but Friday said that our time was up and that we had to mive on to the next part of the tour which was the mechanical workshop. I have a feeling that my Parker luck is gonna struck again but when has it not.
-
When we entered the workshop it was pure chaos. Dad was yelling at Clint something about almost ruining the mission Nat was sharpening her knife. Pietro was next to Clint holding his hand and (m/n) was fixing his motorbike whole wearing his wireless headphones, listening to music. So he was pretty clueless on what's going on around him. They all stopped what they were doing (with the exception of (m/n) who was to focused on fixing his motorbike) and smiled at us.
"Hey Pete boy what are you doing in these parts of the tower" Pietro asked while he suddenly appeared next to me. He put my head in a headlock and messed up my hair a bit before letting me go.
"I could ask you the same thing. Your not exactly trusted here" i said while fixing up my hair a bit. He put his hand on his heart while giving me a mocking gasp.
"I'm offended. Just because i zoom around the place that doesn't mean i broke anything"
Dad looked at him with a 'are you serious' look. Pietro did a damsel in distress look while sighing a dramatic sigh.
"I'm hurt by your words"
I just chuckled at his childish attitude while Aunt Tasha just exited the room. I swear Pietro is more dramatic than dad.
"While it was fun watching you joke around the class has a tour that (m/n) needs to take over. So i think it's time to take our leave. (m/n) time for you to take over!!!
(m/n) didn't move away from his motorbike so I'm guessing he didn't hear dad.
"(m/n)!!! Are you listening to me!!!"
"Don't worry Tony i got this" Pietro said with a mischievous grin on his face.
At the sidelines, everyone was mumbling to each other. Some of them were about being in the same room as their favourite superhero. While the others were mumbling about my internship being true. Flash was flushed red because i got noticed by them and not him.
(m/n) 's P.O.V
I was fixing my motorbike because someone *cough* Clint *cough* thought it was a good idea to "accidentally" knock over an expensive vase (which i think he did it on purpose) and he almost got shot if it wasn't for me jumping in with my motorbike and the latter decided it was a good idea to use an explosive arrows while I'm near the proximity. So, now i have a lot of things i need to repair on my motorbike. While i was fixing my motorbike, i was startled when someone yelled in my ear.
"(m/n)!!! Peter's in trouble!!!" Pietro yelled into my ear.
"What!!! Where!!!" i shouted with slight panic but i accidentally hit my head on my motorbike's turbo booster really REALLY hard because of how fast i lifted my head.
"Ow..." i said while closing my eyes and rubbing my head.
Whwn i reopened my eyes, again and saw a bunch of teenagers (is that the right way to describe them???) staring at me with wide eyes with a laughing Tony and Pietro and a blushing Peter (probably because i was worried about him getting hurt) . I was glaring at Pietro and Tony so hard that (f/c) flames started to surrounding me. They raised their hands in surrender, terrified that i might burn them if they continued. I smirked a victory smirk and the (f/c) flames disappeared. I took off my wireless headphones and walked towards Pietro and smacked his head really hard.
"Ow... What was that for???" Pietro whined while rubbing his sore head.
"That was for scaring me" i said and i started walking towards Peter. He blushed a darker shade of red while the teenagers behind him started giggling and whispering about how "hot and attractive" i was, but i just tuned them out and continued walking until i reached Peter. I wrapped my right hand around his waist and layed my head at the crook of his neck.
"Hey Pete sorry for not joining the tour earlier because someone decided to be stupid" i said emphasising the word someone someone while glaring at Clint who was now, sulking in a conner and was being comforted by Pietro. I just rolled my eyes and gave Peter a peck on his lips.
"Wait... PARKER IS DATING ELEMENTAL"
I looked over and saw a guy wearing a jacket, trying to look cool which he did horrible at.
"Yeah. What Peter never told you he was dating me. Pete, baby how could you not tell other people that you were dating this handsome dude"
I heard Tony snort at the word handsome while Peter just chuckled at my childness.
"As much as i want to mess around more. We need to get on with the tour. I'm assuming your going to be showing us around"
"Mhmm, nothing ever gets by you does it" i said while smiling fondly at him and kissed his cheek before unwrapping my hand around. I walked towards Tony, Clint and Pietro and shooed them out of the workshop. Once they were out , i turned towards the class with a soft smile which made everyone blush and drool (even the hoe of a teacher). I mentally rolled my eyes and pulled my (f/c) mask back on. I clapped my hands together and said,
"Let's get the show on the road now, shall we?"
-59 minutes later-
I looked at my watch and realised that i had one more minute until they had to get to the next part of Stark Towers. I decided to awnser one more question that they might have. For the entire time they've been in here i showed them some of the things that i made. For example, my motorbikes, electric cars, jets, mechanical wings for falcon, guns, Clint's arrows and pretty much anything you need i can make it. They all were impressed that i could make all of this and on top of that i gratuated school pretty early. Oh!!! Did i mention that I'm 17? No? Oh well, now you know.
"Alright everyone i only have time for one question before we move on onto the next destination of Stark Tower. So if anyone of you have a question don't be afraid to ask because you miggt never get this chance again" and instantly five hands were raised up but I pointed at the guy near me.
"How does Parker get not one but two look a like Avengers, fake badges and how much did he pay you to kiss him"
I felt my blood beginning to boil. My bangs covered my eyes but they were red with anger (A/n: Your eyes changes colour depending on the emotions) because how dare he thinks that my Petey will do something like that. The tempature in the room dropped making the class shiver. I started approaching him very VERY slowly with lightning trailing behind me, so i can scare him a little which worked. Everyone made sure to keep a good ten feet away from us. Peter looked terrified about what's going to happen but didn't move because he knew the consequences. ( A little hint. He didn't get kisses and cuddles from me for a week. He can go without those for two days)
When i was right in front of him, i tilted my head to the side revealing my glowing blood red eyes. I pushed him into a the nearest wall, trapping while shape shifting my sword into a darkness knife.
"One more bad word about my Petey. Your head won't be attached to your body after this. Got it!?!??!" i said while pressing my knife dangerously close to his neck. He nodded so fast that i would've mistaken him for Pietro except he got a much more bitchy attitude than Tony when he wants attention from Steve or when Clint was ignored by Pietro because he did a 'breaking up' prank (it was kinda funny seeing Clint begging to Pietro for two hours straight) and that's basically giving them a compliment.
I let go of him and told the others to wait outside to wait for the next part of the tour because I wanted to have a word with Peter. Everyone basically bolted out the room trying to stay on my good side. I turn towards a nervous looking and kinda sweating Peter. He visibly gulped because he knows he is in deep, deep trouble.
Peter's P.O.V
I feel like I'm screwed because not only did i not tell them about my salty teacher much earlier but i didn't tell them that i also have a bully on my track. He crossed his arms while tap his left foot impatiently waiting for an awnser. Well, here goes nothing let just hope he doesn't go on a killing spree.
-Timeskip after the explanation-
When i was done explaining, he was mad but surprisingly calm about the whole situation. He placed his hand on my shoulder and started talking.
"Look I'm not mad that you didn't tell me but if something like this happens again i want you to tell either me or the others because we care about you and don't want you to get hurt. Alright???"
I nodded my head while crying slightly and hugged him really tight like if i let him go i would lose him. I'm really thankful i have someone like him in my life. He chuckled and ran his fingers through my head and kissed my forehead before pulling away. He wiped my tears away and kissed me before pulling away. He pulled away from the hug and extended his hand to me.
"Come on Pete. We have a tour to get back to"
I smiled and took his hand letting him lead my hand outside towards the class to continue the tour.
-
I looked at my watch and realised that the tour was almost over. We only had two more destination which is the training room on level 20 and after that the class will meeting the rest of the Avengers. I mentally jumped for joy because my suffering is almost over. Not that I didn't enjoy it because (m/n)'s hand is always either on my hip or around my waist. He will give me a random pecks here and there. Mrs. Warren and Flash aren't picking on me because (m/n) kept giving them death glares but they still glared at me (i swear those two are oblivious) . So overall, I'm enjoying myself.
TBC (because I've passed my block limit 😅 but stick around for part 2!!)

One Little Coyote
Words: 2k
Pairing: Hyunjin x Reader
Genre: Fluff, some angst
Rating: PG
Warnings: nightmare scene, some arguing, mentions of cigarettes and smoking
A/N; I’m super proud of how this turned out! I’m sorry if it seems rushed, but I thought this was a cute and interesting concept. Banner credits to @oobin
If the morning sun wasn’t hot enough, then the afternoon sun certainly was. Heat waves could easily be seen rising up from the dark pavement the gray Subaru traveled on. Hyunjin carefully drove himself and Y/N across the desert, even though it was mostly barren despite the occasional car that passed them in the opposite direction. The two had been on the road since eight, and it was now nearing twelve-thirty as Y/N’s stomach began to rumble.
“Are you that hungry?” Hyunjin giggled.
“Hey, you’re the one who insisted on just having granola bars instead of eggs like I suggested,” Y/N shot back.
“I know, I should’ve set the alarm for earlier.” Hyunjin rolled his eyes behind his round, dark-lense sunglasses.
Y/N sighed. “No, I should’ve just grabbed an apple.”
“Baby, we’re almost to a gas station. We’ll stop there and grab a bite to eat.”
For whatever reason, the two seemed to be arguing about something with every other conversation they had since waking up that morning. Was it because one of them slept bad? Did Hyunjin get irritated at her for some reason? Or was Y/N just hangry? They hated fighting with each other, but they couldn’t seem to get along for the first leg of their journey. The heat could be a factor in both of them butting heads, but the air was on full blast.
Y/N stared down at her twiddling her thumbs as the song changed to an old AC/DC tune, and Hyunjin glanced over at her. He felt bad for using a sharp tone at her. For months, the two had been planning a road trip from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas; but he felt terrible for being in such a crabby mood.
Taking her hand, he laced his fingers through hers and kissed the back of it.
“Why the sudden change in behavior?” she asked with a raised brow.
“I’m sorry,” he apologized as they pulled into the gas station.
“Can we talk about this later? I just want to get some food before my stomach starts speaking in tongues.”
Before Hyunjin could respond, Y/N was already out of the car and beelined for the restaurant in the convenience store.
The gas station had only three other vehicles parked there: a motorcycle on the side of the building, a beat up brown truck at a pump, and a dark minivan at another. Heat from the sun was beating down in the surrounding area, but Hyunjin was protected under some shade at the gas pump he paid at. A snake slithered by, but it didn’t bother him. A rugged looking man exited the building and pulled a brand new pack of cigarettes and lit one up before entering the truck and pulling out, but not before giving Hyunjin a nod of acknowledgement.
When the tank was filled, Hyunjin took his receipt, parked in another spot, and locked the car before meeting his girlfriend inside. Y/N was sitting in a gray booth with an order of two burgers and large fries with two large drinks. She hadn’t touched any of the food on the tray, which she always did when she paid for food if she were traveling with anyone. Hyunjin was about to open his mouth to protest how he should have been the one to purchase the food, but he was done arguing with the love of his life.
“This looks delicious, baby,” he smiled and kissed her head before sitting in the seat across from her.
“I made sure to not get pickles in yours,” she replied.
“You know me too well.”
Once Hyunjin tied his long hair back, he and Y/N began their lunch; and she was thankful they didn’t fight while they filled their bellies with a meal.
“Just think,” Hyunjin smiled slyly, “by tomorrow afternoon we’ll be entering Vegas. The desert and heat will be a distant memory as we feast on delicious food, swim in an indoor pool, and get cozy.”
Y/N chuckled at his attempt at being smooth with his words, which in turn caused him to laugh as well.
“We can’t forget seeing all of the cool shows and counting the slot machines in each casino,” she added. “But I’m happy to just be with you for a few days, even if we don’t get to party like millionaires.”
Hyunjin scoffed. “Who needs wealth when I’m already a rich man just having the most beautiful woman in the world with me?”
“You’re cheesy, dude; but I like cheese.”
“I know,” her boyfriend replied with a wink.
As soon as they finished their meal, the two were back on the road, the surrounding desert brightened more by the afternoon sun. For about two hours, the two drive in mostly silence. The only noises around them were the radio, which would go static in some areas, and the wind outside. A few animals passed by in the sand and among the vegetation, but it was mostly snakes and rabbits.
“Babe,” Hyunjin said after a while, “about me apologizing earlier, I didn’t sleep well last night and woke up this morning in a bad mood. I hate fighting with you, and I was trying to make it up to you.”
He couldn’t exactly look at her as he was driving, but he could see out of the corner of his eye she was half smiling as he spoke.
“I’m sorry, too,” she lightly sighed. “I shouldn’t have snapped back at you. I didn’t know.”
“It’s not your fault. The bed at the motel was too uncomfortable.”
“Hopefully, the hotel bed is much better.”
“It’s Vegas! It has to be.”
A truce was formed during their own little comedy hour, and Hyunjin was happy he was able to make it all up with his girl. Like most couples, they had their arguments some days, but Hyunjin could never stay angry with Y/N, nor could she with him. The last thing either of them wanted to do was hurt the other person, and they both knew words were impactful. Only once had they insulted each other where it hurt the most that they wouldn’t speak to each other for a week until they both cooled off and talked it over.
“I wonder where the coyotes are,” Y/N spoke up as she looked out the window.
“They’re out there,” her boyfriend replied as he glanced around the sandy plains. “We won’t be going anywhere near them, but we’re approaching a bunch of rock formations and hills in a while.”
“Maybe we’ll hear them when we camp.”
“Maybe.”
“And that one little coyote howling at the moon,” Y/N sang with a giggle.
As if on cue, the radio song switched to the exact song. It was a genie wishing her song request.
“Fitting.”
-
The night air was too quiet for Y/N, except for the coyote’s howling at the full moon every couple of seconds. Moonlight illuminated the inside of the car, and she couldn’t fall back asleep anymore. The windows were still cracked open a little to allow air to circulate, but there was no wind blowing. Y/N hated how silent it was, and the coyote’s weren’t exactly singing lullabies to her. Sitting up, she looked over to where Hyunjin was, but he was gone. His blanket remained there, but the man himself had vanished.
Maybe he just had to go pee somewhere, she thought. However, the closest gas station was miles behind them. There was no way he would have walked that far just for a bathroom with a way to protect himself. The possibility of him just finding a small bush to do his business seemed logical, and since it was dark out, anyone who passed by probably wouldn’t see him.
Against her better judgement, Y/N decided to step out and see if her boyfriend was okay. Climbing over the seats, she reached one of the passenger doors and unlocked it. Once she stumbled out of the car, she shut the door and made her way to the back. The little fire pit used to cook their hot dogs was missing, and there was no sign that anyone had made a stop there. Nothing but dry mud and weeds. The air was also freezing, but Y/N didn’t want to go back to the car until her boyfriend was found.
“Hyunjin?” Y/N called in a whisper. No answer. She called for him across the other side of the main road, but still no reply.
“Babe, this isn’t funny!” she called as she turned around to see if he was messing with her.
To her horror, the Subaru was now gone. She didn’t hear the engine turn on, no tire tracks were left, nothing. It was as if it vanished into thin air. Turning back again, the road was gone too. What was going on?
Coyote howls grew louder, and Y/N was starting to panic. Small feet scampered by her, but not a humans’ footsteps. She pulled out her phone light and looked down. A row of jack rabbits were racing by her towards the rock formations, so she decided to follow them to try to find help. She took about six steps before a branch seemingly wrapped around her ankle and tripped her, cutting into the flesh.
“Don’t panic,” YN told herself. “It’s just a bush. You can get out of this.”
However, once she sat up, whatever was holding her had let go and disappeared. It left behind her ankle bleeding, but she had no means of treating it. She could still walk on it, so she kept going.
A few snakes, poisonous ones, slithered by, hissing at her as she walked. It was as if they were threatening her to turn back or else they’ll attack and sink their venomous fangs into her.
“As I rode my pony across the Western plain,” she sang sobbed, not realizing she had been crying. “We stopped and heard a sweet and sad refrain. It filled the sundown skies with a lonesome tune. It was one little coyote howling at the moon.”
RIght at that moment, howling broke the eerie silence from behind her. When Y/N turned around, two red glowing eyes were staring at her. It was a terrible, hungry look, and a deep throaty growl sent shivers down her back. Before she could even blink, teeth flashed in front of her as if the creature attempted to eat her face off.
Y/N screamed as she felt her life ending right there.
“Baby, wake up!” a familiar voice cried out.
Opening her eyes, Y/N realized she was back in the car but in a cold sweat. It was somewhat dark out, but the sky was just barely rising by the deep purple sky fading into pink.
“Jinnie!” Y/N sobbed as she pulled her boyfriend in for a hug.
“What happened?”
Once she caught her breath, she realized everything she had seen and experienced was all a nightmare.
“Bad dream?” Hyunjin guessed as dried her head with a blanket.
“Yeah,” she sighed. She explained everything in detail to him, even checking her ankle for the injury she had sustained. To her relief, there was no cut.
“I’m so sorry you had such an awful nightmare,” Hyunjin kissed her forehead. “I forget how you have bad nightmares one the first night of a camping trip.”
“I’ll be okay,” Y/N promised. “What time is it?”
Hyunjin looked through the suitcases for some fresh clothes. “6:30 in the morning. I was awake because I got too hot in here. It wasn’t long before you screamed awake.”
“I’m sorry if I scared you.”
“No, no. Don’t be sorry. It was only a dream.”
After tying his hair up to keep himself cool, Hyunjin brought Y/N closer to him and cuddled her for a while. Whenever she had a bad dream, it always comforted her to be held or snuggled until she calmed down. His heartbeat was the main composer of her calming, and she loved how warm he felt when he embraced her.
In the distance, a coyote howled.
“He won’t hurt you, my love,” Hyunjin reassured as he held Y/N tighter. “It’s just one little coyote.”
