I have an autistic (tbd) 67 year old dad and 11 older siblings and we all love to quote stupid shit. I can't even tell you if most of what my dad says is a quote or not because 99% of the time I haven't watched the movie he's quoting, so to me that's just How He Talks.
I could talk about this for DAYS and I can't even give you a concise list of all the things we quote because I don't even know where most of what we quote comes from!!! I just found out that something I was quoting didn't actually come from some old obscure YouTube video, but actually a homemade movie my older brother recorded, in which he gave our other brothers lines.
But uhh here's a couple quotes?? A lot of these have gestures and acting to their delivery so just imagine it:
"Just went (claps hands) sailing on down there!"
"No matter how many ways we figure it, somebody don’t like the way we figure it!"
"Trouble? Having any trouble?" (All from It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (plus a million others from that one))
"Daddy's gonna kill Ralphie!!"
"Football? What's a football?" (Both from A Christmas Story)
"that. Was the worst. Throw. Ever. Of all time"--"Not my fault, somebody put a wall in my way" (red vs blue)
"I thought you said there'd be a bar here"--"Yeah, mah bad" (that Star Wars abridged series on YouTube)
"You guys playing cards? :3" (Animal House)
"Quick, what's the number for 9-1-1?"--"How should I know?"
"Dear Darla, I HATE your STINKIN GUTS. you make me VOMIT. you are the SCUM betWEEN my TOES. love, alf-alfa."
"the 4-foot tall MAN-EATING-CHICKEN!!" (All from Little Rascals)
"I-I'm cooperating here!!" (Fargo)
"It'll test your head, and your mind, and your brain, too." (School of Rock)
"Recently. Yeah, recently!" (Snow White)
just... So many others from invader Zim, the emperor's new groove, the first SpongeBob movie, 90s-2000s Disney/Pixar, and a million other movies I've never watched. God we're all so neurodivergent...
Tagging my niece @daziedreams 🫣🫣
i love hearing what lines from film/tv people quote with their family all the time because they're always niche and forgettable to everyone but that specific family
#12 kids an autism coded dad and a mom who got roped into all of this#you wanna know what my parents' SECOND date was? dad took her to go see My Dinner With Andre in theaters#which by the way. the whole movie is just two guys talking. at a restaurant(?). the whole time. no action. theyre talking. the entire movie#and mom MARRIED HIM . and had TWELVE KIDS.#and all of us LOOOVE being annoying#long post

Here's a fun au idea
Airplane's parents got divorced and both went on to create new families which they preferred
His dad had custody of him and it's implied he rarely if ever saw his mom and was generally not included in her family ← this part is all canon
Now for speculation and fun times: let's say his mom gets remarried when Airplane is 4. And marryed up into a much more affluent family.
He has a new step brother by the time he's 5 and a second one by the time he's 7. He gets a third stepbrother by the time he's 10 and a step sister follows after that.
He stops coming around by the time he's twelve because he knows he's not wanted. Even though he enjoyed keeping the youngest brother entertained with stories
The older step brothers vaguely remember the awkward older boy in shabby clothes who came by sometimes. The younger kids don't and don't even know their mom was married before their dad
Until the youngest brother finds and befriends/bullies his favourite/most hated author and brings him home for a visit because they are going to be roommates
Only oops Shen Yuan, said author turns out to be your stepbrother that your mother abandoned and you know he was living in poverty and has been struggling his whole life. While you were being babied by your shared mom
And oops Airplane, your littlest brother has been reading your poor quality porn for years and you've been trying to get him laid because he needs to realise he's gay. Also you may understand now why he's so reluctant to admit it

Can you make a cute Drabble with Jayce x Milf!Baker reader? Please🩷🩷
SUGAR & SPICE - JAYCE X READER
synopsis: Jayce remembers how hard life was when his mama and him moved into Piltover. He also remembers the first friend his mama made. You.
warnings: age gap (Jayce is 20, you're 42), Jayce thinks mom's best friend is hot, pathetic!Jayce low-key, Jayce is good at following demands, Jayce is friends with your son (random oc but I'll let y'all know I thought about somehow making Viktor your son 💀), infidelity (your oc husband cheats on you), masturbation mention, cut to sex, vaginal sex, creampie, breeding kink
genre: m/f
p.s. Y'all this was fun, I didn't expect to do a reverse age gap but omg… it kinda slays ngl. Hope y'all enjoy!
EDIT: I DID NOT SEE THE WORD CUTE, I SAW THE WORD MILF AND ASSUMED SMUT. MY BRAIN WENT TO HORNY JAIL, MY BAD YALL HOPE YOU STILL ENJOY 💀
Jayce remembers how hard life was when his mama and him moved into Piltover. He also remembers the first friend his mama made. You were a few years her junior, his mama was twenty-eight, and you were twenty-two. He remembers his little eight year old brain being so excited when he first walked into the bakery you owned. You made the best food ever, and it was on the house! Ever since then, Jayce has been infatuated with you.
It’s been twelve years now and that infatuation is still there. When he was younger, his mama teased him. You would just smile and give him a big ‘ol hug and give him an obnoxious kiss on his cheek. When a perfect lipstick stain was left behind, he tried his best to keep it as long as he could.
Unfortunately, he always had to get rid of it before bed. His mama made it apparent that brushing his teeth and cleaning his face before bed was vital to stay healthy.
He remembers you crying when you were twenty-five, telling his mama how your ugly husband was seeing another lady. He couldn't imagine. You're so pretty, and kind, and you make amazing food. Jayce couldn't imagine a better person to marry. You also had a son who was just about to turn three, his name was Xavier.
Now, he tries his best to keep his infatuation with you under wraps, sometimes it doesn't work. You've aged gracefully. A few fine lines, strands of grey hair amongst richly coloured locks. You're beautiful.
You'll always be beautiful.
Xavier is a kind boy, always helping you out in the bakery. Jayce has kinda taken the boy under his wing. He's only eight years older than him but still, it’s the thought that counts.
Jayce's dad died when he was small, and Xavier’s dad is a deadbeat. Sometimes, when Xavier has questions, he goes to Jayce. Which makes sense, Jayce has been Xavier’s babysitter for as long as he can remember.
You always cup Jayce's cheek and give him a small kiss on his other cheek in your thanks. No matter what it is. Helping you in the bakery. Kiss. Helping you with Xavier. Kiss. Keeping you company as you clean the house, even getting Jayce to help you with certain tasks. Kiss.
Jayce swears one day he's going to go insane with all the kisses he gets. He uses the remembrance of how warm your hands are, how soft your lips feel, and how your lipstick no matter the shade; always leaves an imprint behind, to jerk himself raw.
One day, all of Jayce's fantasies come true.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
You've known Jayce since he was a boy. So cute, with kind eyes, a squeaky voice, and helpful personality.
He was so shy around you, and it didn't help Ximena teased him. Now, now Jayce is a man.
He looks at you the way a man does.
He's an adult now, tall, broad, handsome. He's the perfect man. He's still kept all his kindness, helpfulness, and sweetness from when he was younger. He's just a stunning man now instead of a cute kid.
Sometimes you feel your panties dampen at his dark looks. His strength when he helps you move things, how good he is with Xavier.
If only you met a man like Jayce all those years ago and had his kid instead. You would’ve been a much happier, and much more satisfied woman.
You always feel so guilty about your thoughts. He's your best friends son, you've known him since he was little, this is taboo. It’s wrong.
You know all these things, so you’re very confused on how things turned out this way.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Xavier is away, staying at a friends house for a sleepover. You’re in your kitchen baking some last minute products for your bakery. You’re in a simple black form fitting dress. Not too restrictive so you can’t move, but not baggy so it hinders your baking or accidentally puts you in danger. You have a simple white apron on, and you have Jayce’s lovely company.
The product is put into the oven, and a fifteen minute timer is set. You huff, trying your best to dust any flour off you as Jayce laughs at you. You shoot him a playful glare.
“You think this is funny? Fine, I guess you shouldn’t get anymore of my treats.”
Jayce whines, slumping onto the kitchen nook, his eyes big and pleading, “I was only joking. Please don’t take the treats away.”
“What’s the magic word?”
Jayce pouts, “I already said it.”
Your tone is firmer now, and Jayce struggles to hide a shiver of arousal, “The other one.”
Jayce gulps, “S— sorry.”
You smile sweetly at him, “There it is.”
The two of you chat some more before a comfortable silence befalls you two. Out of nowhere Jayce asks a strange question, “Have you been seeing anyone?”
You almost drop the tray of hot product as you take it out of the oven, “Jayce! Why would you ask such a question?!”
He shrugs, “Why not? I can’t ever remember you bringing someone along with you for any events.”
You sigh, rubbing your forehead, “Many men aren’t interested in fathering a son that isn’t there’s. I had Xavier to worry about, and I have you and your mum. That’s all I need. Besides, I’m much too old now. Men my age want women in their twenties.”
Jayce looks you up and down, his eyes appreciating every curve of your body, “Men in their twenties want women in their forties.”
You laugh.
Jayce isn’t.
You truly don’t know how you ended up where you did.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Here you are on your queen sized bed as Jayce pounds away at your pussy. You’re in a mating press, your knees digging into your shoulders. Your tits bounce with each thrust.
God his cock is magnificent. It’s thick and long, it’s hitting your g-spot every time. It’s bruising your cervix.
You don’t think you’ve ever felt this good in your life.
Every command you give him, Jayce executes it perfectly. Faster. Harder. Shift a little to the right. Everything is done with an almost insane accuracy. You’re doing to cum all over your best friends sons cock and you don’t feel guilty anymore.
Not while he’s fucking you this good.
“Fuck—“ Jayce groans, his tone a deep rumble, “I wish I was born earlier. I wish I was the one that met you when you were a teen. I wish I was the one who dated you and married you. I wish I was the one that fucked you so good and knocked you up. Can I? Can I cum inside? Maybe we can give Xavier a little sibling, he’s been complaining to me about how lonely he is. Your ex-husband is a dumbass, you’re the perfect woman with the perfect pussy.”
You moan loudly at that, thankful your son isn’t home.
You’re gonna cum, you’re so close.
“Jayce!” You cry out, your eyes rolling to the back of your head as you pant open mouthed, “Rub my clit. Please rub my clit. Fast rough circles. If you get me to cum before you do, I’ll let you drain your balls dry into my pussy.”
With that declaration, Jayce does exactly as he’s told, his fingers feel like heaven. He doesn’t change the speed of his thrusts, but he goes a hint harder; and you see stars.
You wail as your orgasm overcomes you, your vision blacking out for a few seconds. Jayce gasps at the feeling of your pussy sucking him in, “Can I— can I—“
You grab his face and bring him close, the tips of your noses touching, “Cum inside me.”
With a loud groan, he does. You pull him down and kiss him passionately. The two of you are exhausted, but extremely satisfied.
By the look in Jayce’s eye as he lays next to you, there’s going to be a few more rounds tonight. And tomorrow. And the next day.
You did give him a promise to drain his balls dry after all, and that’ll take a while.
As long as Ximena never finds out, you two will be okay.
… This was F R E A K Y
Hope y’all enjoyed it! This was a blast to write. Love ya ❤️

(sorry this got longer than I thought)
You know what fic I'd love to read?
One where Carole dies but doesn't get anything in order before her death (as is many times the case) and Mav is installed as Bradley's temporary guardian after her death but everything goes wrong very fast
Due to Mav's less than heterosexuals tendencies, Bradley ends up in the foster system. One day a social worker with a police officer just shows up and takes him away from school and he doesn't know what's going on. He ends up in his first not so good foster family the same evening. Mav can't even visit as he is deemed a bad influence and has an ongoing investigation if he is 'fit' to be Bradley's guardian.
He doesn't stop asking about Mav for months. Keeps trying to run away to him (he's about 50 miles away because foster homes are sparse so no dice) and finally his foster 'mom' is fed up with the constant asks to at least try and call Mav so she tells him Mav didn't want him and doesn't want Bradley to contact him.
And because Bradley is twelve, he believes it.
(It's not that Mav didn't try. There was a whole appeal process but Mav had a deployment right after and he couldn't explain to the social workers that no, Bradley would stay with someone trusted while he was gone, because that someone was Ice, the source of his suspected homosexual tendencies. They literally told him he's not allowed to contact Bradley and once he came back from deployment, Bradley was already in a different foster home, a few counties over and lost in the system.)
Bradley spends the rest of his childhood in the system. His first family is dubious and the following ones are a mix of constant hope and disappointment. He has at least two different families foster him every year, until he is sixteen and ends up in a group home. There are only two families that he actually comes close to calling family - a young married couple that stops fostering when the wife is diagnosed with chronic autoimmune disorder, and a couple of teachers that have to drop one of the two kids they foster when the financial requirements to foster raise and decide that Bradley is going to be that kid.
No one ever even thinks about adopting him. He's got good grades and stays on top of school, but that's about what is going well in his life. Some families he's with are average - they let him be and maybe don't care as much for anything that involves him as long it doesn't stir trouble at the fostering agency and Bradley is healthy and safe. Some families are worse - sometimes he is one of the five kids and is expected to stay and be a live-in nanny, sometimes they're only doing it for the money and he has barely anything, barely any food, barely any attention, barely any clothes, barely any school supplies, just so he doesn't cost too much. Sometimes, things get physical - it happens less, the taller he gets and by the time he starts fighting back, he has enough reputation that no one believes it and no one wants to foster him anymore. And group home it is.
By the time he's seventeen, he's enlisted. Just so he leaves the system as fast as he can. It all works out because the Navy fits the bill for his university and NROTC when the time comes - even if he's told he's not a good candidate for the USNA, even if he was told his grades and his achievements should be more than enough, even if despite the circumstances, he managed to meet the same requirements.
Finding out that it was Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell who protested his application and pulled the plug on it is Bradley's second heartbreak.
Bradley bites down any complaints he has about life and enters UVA at 21, with a military scholarship and NROTC bursary. At that point, he doesn't even know if he still wants to go into aviation, it brings so much bitterness in him. But then his grades and his overall achievement are so good, everyone says it'd be a waste if he didn't go to one of the most competitive pipelines. The Navy pays for his private pilot licence when he hesitates, and sure enough, it does feel good.
The pipeline is where he meets Jake Seresin. Jake Seresin, who has two brothers and two sisters and who has jars of homemade jam and chocolate-covered plums sent in a little package from his mom at least once a month. Jake Seresin, who uses all his leave to attend weddings, holiday parties, birthday parties, even a dog's funeral. Jake Seresin, who comes from every Thanksgiving with spare pumpkin pie, who has a new handmade Christmas sweater every year.
Jake Seresin, who, for some reason not known to Bradley, is impressed with how effortless learning to fly is for Bradley, with how much Bradley knows, with how much he leads in the lectures and the flight lessons - most guys find Bradley annoying and cold and Bradley would've agreed with them if any said it to his face. The Navy is the only good thing Bradley's had since his mom died, he has much more time to focus on being good at whatever Navy throws at him and maybe that makes him strange and aloof. But not Jake.
Jake Seresin, who is a competitive asshole that can't shut his mouth for his own good. Who has no idea of personal space, who fills the silence better than a jukebox, who will drill and drill the topic until he gets an answer he can comprehend, who doesn't care what people think of him as long as he knows his worth.
Bradley might have a bit of a crush on him, but it's an annoying crush kind of crush - one he doesn't really want to have, one he doesn't really know what to do with. Jake Seresin, who probably would never look at Bradley twice, especially in that way.
They get separate F-18 training bases and Bradley forgets for a moment Jake Seresin ever existed.
Then, summer of 2011, Jake Seresin gets restationed, right into Bradley's squadron. And he's still his annoying self, inserting himself into Bradley's private space, private time, and doesn't let Bradley have a say in it, at all.
Maybe Bradley doesn't want to have any say in it, deep down.
A few months later, DADT gets repealed. It doesn't change much for Bradley, he's not going to talk to anyone about his personal life. But it seems it changes something for Jake.
Because he asks Bradley out on a date.
Bradley's never really dated. Didn't really have the time to when he was a teenager, moved so many times, and then he enlisted, and then he was in college and NROTC. He slept with people, but he's never dated anyone.
So he gets to know Jake Seresin. Jake Seresin, who despite bringing all that food back with him any time he visits his parents, can't cook at all and who would hang onto Bradley's arm or shoulders whenever Bradley cooked. Who can sew so well that he saves all of Bradley's old shirts. Who can't keep his mouth shut, no matter the circumstances - not in the theatre, not when they eat, not when they just watch a movie at home, not even in bed. Who seems to know every single tune under the sun but can't play a single instrument. Who has elaborate, detailed plans for his life - an admiral by forty, two kids by thirty-five, a nice little house in driving distance to some body of water, a German shepherd or a border collie for a family dog once the house is there, a personal two or maybe four-person plane by the time he's forty-five, maybe co-owning aeroclub by fifty.
Bradley's never before thought about the future.
He never tells Jake even half of the things he's seen and lived through when he was in foster care, never tells him about his pulled application from USNA, never tells him about Mav. He doesn't think Jake would be able to understand, the way his family seems perfect and loving and caring. He doesn't want him to know how many things is wrong with him.
But Jake knows he's got no family, that his dad died in the Navy, his mom when he started middle school, that he's been in foster care for all his teenage years. Knows that Bradley has no one to come back home.
"Don't be a fool, sweetheart," is what Jake tells him. "You've got me."
For the first time in his life at the age of 29, Bradley requests Christmas leave.
Bradley's never had a big family, but there was a time he once had a family - or so he thought, when he was twelve and the illusion shattered - so he thought he'd be okay.
And at first, he is fine. Jake rotates him around like a prize piece, introducing him to his siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, grandparents, but it's just two or three people at once. Whenever it seems like too much, Bradley drifts away to the kitchen where he can just stay silent and listen to Jake's mom talk to the various people that come by while he slices homemade ham or he steps out onto the backyard and talks to the kids of all the ages gathered around the makeshift playground.
But then they're right before dinner starts - there are over thirty people in the open space of the house, now that everyone arrived, and Bradley feels hot, suffocating in the crowded space, in the clutter of gifts and food and colorful Christmas sweaters.
And then, before he can take any of it in, he hears Jake, saying in his typical loud and teasing tone, that Bradley can play the piano, and look at that, he could play something Christmas-y before the turkey is done, and next thing he knows, there's over thirty pairs of eyes on him and plenty of people asking questions and making teasing remarks and it all seems so tricky--
He can't imagine himself, in that room, with all those people, feeling comfortable. So he walks out.
Bradley doesn't know how to be a part of a family. There's no reason to try and lie to himself and everyone else.
They don't see each other for years after. The next time they do, it's only the eight weeks at Top Gun. The Jake that Bradley knew isn't there - this Jake is bitter and sarcastic and sharp with his tongue. This Jake wins Top Gun and never looks back at Bradley when he returns to his station base.
The next time they see each other is at the Top Gun recall when Bradley is going through a life roller coaster.
Not only is Jake being the biggest ass not just to him but to everyone, for the first time in twenty years, Bradley sees Mav. Sure, maybe he's not moved on from Jake - he still remains the only person Bradley ever dated - but he's managed to dodge Maverick, and Iceman by association, in all those years he's been in the Navy and now he's forced to pretend all is fine.
And Maverick doesn't make it easier.
He tries to approach Bradley like they're long-lost friends, saying all those things about how he missed him and how Bradley looks so much like his dad. Like he didn't leave him in the foster system when he was a kid and didn't fuck up his application for USNA.
So he pretends he doesn't remember Maverick because that's the easiest given that Maverick is supposed to train him.
On top of that, Jake mixes himself up into Bradley's shit life situation when he overhears Mav trying to get Bradley to 'remember' and 'renew their relationship' and keeps pestering Bradley. Maybe he can tell you more about your childhood, why the hell are you so rude to him, he wouldn't make up knowing you, you know, maybe he's got some of your parents' stuff and can share---
And hearing the love of his life that he let get away because Bradley didn't know how to be part of his family side with the first person that told Bradley he's not enough to be someone's family - well, it's not exactly helping the state of Bradley'e mental being.
So maybe he explodes at Jake, a little bit, in the end. You want to talk to the man who left me behind when I was twelve and the only time he looked back was to tell me he didn't think I was good enough? Then so be fucking it.
Instead of butting into Bradley's life, Jake shuts up and starts avoiding him. Bradley supposes he has what he wanted.
Bradley doesn't care what Maverick thinks or if he changed or if he wants something from Bradley.
He still turns around when he's shot down. It's not like he's got someone to come back to anyway. Not because he cares about Maverick.
"I'm not you," Bradley tells Mav. "I don't leave people behind."
The admittance - that he knows and remembers Mav and wants nothing to do with him, wants to be nothing like him - works. They survive and Bradley doesn't see Maverick again, not when they're in the med bay, not when they're in the hospital in San Diego, not when he gets discharged.
He sees Jake instead, waiting on him at the reception of the unit he had been on, patiently waiting for Bradley to sign his discharge papers without using his broken wrist.
"What, do you have someone else to take your broken ass home?"
In truth, Bradley was just going to take a taxi. Instead, Jake takes the plastic bag with Bradley's clothes and silently leads them to his truck before he asks for Bradley's address.
And in all this mess, the first thing Jake asks him is, "Are you going to stay in San Diego?" because they have the offer to stay there and make their place in Top Gun-adjacent brand new squadron.
"No, I'm going to go back to my base," Bradley tells him. There's nothing for him San Diego, but there's plenty for Jake and he doesn't want to be a barrier.
"I think you should stay in San Diego. With me."
He wishes it was that simple but the truth is, Bradley is still the same.
"I can't be the person you want to have in your life."
"But you already are the person I want in my life."
"I think this is going to end up badly."
"Only if you let it."
Bradley's never really could say no to Jake.
It all seems so easy, when he falls asleep on Jake's shoulder watching Top Gear, but at some point, Bradley knows, they will get to the point when it'll all crush again.
There is also the whole thing with Maverick, their now CO, who appears to be some kind of ashamed now that he finally knows that Bradley remembers what he did - or rather what he didn't do. He avoids Bradley like the plague and it seems to be affecting the squad - because they all love Maverick and Bradley is the weirdo who can't have fun or be friendly. He's just waiting on someone to call him out as the party pooper contrasting to their fun CO and deem the problem, as always, just because he can't pretend to be happy to be around him.
Jake hasn't said anything about the Maverick thing explicitly but he gives Bradley those looks whenever Maverick is nearby and sometimes he makes those quips
#dunno how that would resolve#probably ice would intervene at some point#just to clarify mav is feeling extremely guilty#hangster#bradley rooster bradshaw#tgm#i wish my mind could just transfer this idea into like a movie montage#but instead id have to spend hours of writing to bring it to life 😭

ANY OTHER WAY
izuku midoryia x reader
synopsis: your son demands answers
authors note: this is the short little ending to the toast little mini series! but honestly their little family is so cute i don’t wanna leave them :((( also thank you to everyone who read, reblogged, and commented. i literally love ur life.
psa: mentions of breastfeeding
one | two | three | four
"my life is a lie!" the voice of your oldest son echoed through the hall and into the living room. you didn't bat an eye as his antics, because you knew every time he went to hang out at his uncle denki and aunt jirou's house he came home talking about some new crazy story. though he'd usually wait to talk about it until he was in the same room as you all.
izuku and yutaka, your middle child, raised their heads at the sound of the door slamming behind him.
"koji, you've barely stepped through the door and you're already yelling. mayuka was finally eating" you shifted your youngest head back towards you chest. she had been startled by the door but you were able to calm her by gently rubbing your thumb against her cheek.
"sorry" koji mumbled going to stand in the very middle of the living room so he could get a good look at you all "but i still can't believe i've been lied to for the past twelve years, twevle years!"
izuku's eyes went from his son, then over to you. but all you could do was shrug. izuku grunted as he rose from his spot on the floor. all those years of daunting hero work along with just plain aging were catching up to him. specks of grey started to show, but he attempted to hide them with the green he still had.
"okay koji. what are you freaking out about?"
"i don't know, maybe the fact that you guys almost never got married?!"
now if there was one thing you were expecting to come out of his mouth, it wasn't that.
"did denki tell you about that?" you asked watching as he was now pacing the room back and forth.
"yeah! and i'm glad he told me because it seems like you guys were never going to let me know!"
yutaka looked up from his tablet “mommy and daddy weren’t gonna get married? why?”
izuku put his hands up before koji could go off again “listen, your aunt ochako and i weren’t very good at relationships back then and-“
“what does aunt ochako have to do with this?” koji’s face went from confusion to surprise “you were going to marry aunt ochako! what the heck!”
the tips of izuku’s ears went pink as he heard his surprise “i thought denki told you everything!”
“he only told me that you guys almost never got married! when i asked for more details he said that’s none of his business”
you snorted going to fix your bra since mayuka had finished eating “since when does denki mind his buisness”
“that’s what i said!” koji threw his arms up going to sit in between the two of you “okay so you guys gotta tell me everything! start to finish”
“i don’t know koji. i mean i need mom to tell the story with me and she’s kind of busy so-“
“i got time” you laid mayuka on one side of your body making sure her head was over your shoulder “may takes her time to burp” izuku gave you a look which you smiled at “i love you!”
izuku rolled his eyes before finally nodding “fine we’ll tell you the story. c’mere taka” he held his arms out which his son happily jumped into. after he got him settled on his lap he started on the story of how the two of you got together. the toast, the argument, and the rekindling all in one short (kid friendly) version. of course, you felt the need to add in little details when needed “and then we got married and boom. you kids were born”
koji’s mouth had hung open for almost the whole story, sitting at the edge of his seat. yutaka looked rather confused.
“so..” taka looked over at the two of you “mommy took daddy from aunt ochako?”
“well, sort of. we all agreed that how things ended up were for the best. no matter how it happened”
izuku nodded his head in agreement “i love your mom and i love all of you” he tickled taka’s side making him burst out in laughter.
“i just can’t believe it” koji mumbled shaking his head.
“you better believe it kid. your dad and i are in love” you wiggled your eyebrows making koji groan “in fact, give me a kiss!” the two of you leaned in placing a dramatic kiss on each others lips. both of the boys pretended to gag as they got up.
“not in front of us! not in front of us!” they both made a mad dash upstairs making the two of you laugh.
“they get their dramatics from you” you said scooting closer to him handing over may. an offended look plastered his face.
“they do not!”
“whatever you say mr. midoryia” you leaned your head on his shoulder pulling the blanket over the two of you. you eyes scanned over the home that the two of you created. toys scattered across the living room floor. family portraits hanging on the walls, even from when koji was first born. some random, educational kids show was currently playing on your television. someone had told you that this would ‘stimulate the baby’s mind’ even though she had just popped out. both you and izuku in your matching pajamas that you had gotten for christmas. ever since mayuka was born the two of you had been too exhausted to clean. shit was a mess, but honestly, you felt no sense of stress. you two had a silent understanding that everything would be done in the time that is intended, and you wouldn’t have it any other way
“i love you” you moved your head to look up at the man you had fallen hopelessly in love with. he looked back with a tired smile, but you noticed the crinkles at the corner of his eyes.
“i love you too”

Peaceful Property - Wild Ass Theories
First and foremost, is nobody questioning the cage that was on the stage when Home was a kid? Because that is a cage, right? Right?
Theory #1 - Grandpa is the last ghost
Home inherited twelve properties, and we have twelve episodes, so we get a property an episode. His grandfather wanted a traditional 100-day grieving period before his ashes would be scattered at the little house, so the Scooby Doo Gang has 100 days to wrap this up since I think the grandpa will be the last ghost.
Theory # 2 - Home and Kan are related
I can't win prizes if I don't play games, and I think these two are related because 1) it would be funny that Home was trying to hit on Kan to begin with but also because 2) the grandpa's first wife had a three-year old daughter when he married her, then when his first wife passed away, he remarried and had two kids, one who is Home's parent, and the other is Home's uncle. There are a lot of gaps here because where is Home's other parent?
Plus the colors are coloring, especially for Kan, who is neutral color-coded up until now.
I've stated it every week, but Kan is not who she appears to be, because, Thai folks, correct me if I'm wrong, but all the names tie into the person. Home needs to find a home. Peach (food) needs to start cooking again. Ride needed to finish his last ride. Rak (beautiful) wanted to feel beautiful again. Pangpang (amazing) needs to be awesome. Even Best, if going off Pangpang's comments, needs to be the best. Which is why I don't think Kan is who she is because what does her name gotta do with anything? She is after something, and is it finding her parents? Her sibling? WHAT?!
She is always off doing something else when the ghost starts ghosting, so she has other plans, and I want to know what they are!
Theory #3 - Kan's ghost is from her childhood
Everyone has a ghost. Home's is his grandpa and Peach's is whoever is in this picture with him and Best.
And Kan is being haunted by . . . a parent? A sibling? Someone from her childhood? Which is why she doesn't believe in ghosts because if they existed, she thinks her ghost would have already visited her, but they didn't. Not yet at least.
We know Kan has a sweet tooth because she eats sugar at the table during dinner and pours more into her meal.
She sits in the car with her sucker in episode three.
In episode two, she couldn't decide which sucker to get in the store.
And in the trailer, a ghost seems to be handing her a sucker, but she seems younger here. If Kan had seen a ghost when she was younger, she wouldn't be skeptical now, so this is Kan seeing her ghost and reliving her childhood.
Which would make my Kan and Home are related theory better if Kan believed her parent went missing due to Home's family which is why she is investigating them, but both of them actually lost a parent in childhood because they had the same parent!
Girl also knows how to lay a wig, so I think she had to work from an early age since she didn't have a parent.
Don't ask too many questions or the theory falls apart. Just go with it!
Theory #4 - This is a BL without being a BL for a reason
Heteronormativity was the issue this week. The Scooby Doo Gang almost missed Thansai being the recipient of Ride's gift because she is trans, and they were overlooking that. And what Ride was gifting her was a home.
Then, Peach popped this banger out of his mouth without hesitation that even if Ride and Thansai weren't able to be together romantically, they were still each other's family.
And of course Pangpang gave us this golden nugget of saying Peach and Home were the mom and dad of the family.
But also, Rak had a husband that the gang didn't even consider, and when the husband shared his story, he said he had done what he could to help her move on, but their love wasn't the focus.
So what happens when red + blue combine?
They make purple.
I'm giving the show too much credit only three episodes in, but is the love less meaningful because it isn't explicitly stated? Is the relationship overlooked because it doesn't fit the standard of what we expect? The story doesn't need to state it's a BL for us to know they are in love, which is why the show isn't a BL.
This show is giving us VISUALS! Like Rak with the wig.
The uncle and the past that is haunting him.
And Ride's head cut off in the mirror, but also being told his face is too serious, so he finally smiles in the end when he delivers his gift.
Kan doesn't believe in ghosts because she hasn't seen one, but she is ignoring everything in front of her. We are being told every episode to believe what we see by the visuals.
We need to believe what is right in front of us and quit overlooking it simply because it doesn't fit the norm or isn't the sole focus.
They are in love.
#peaceful property#I have theories for days#on sale the series#I want Kan and Home to be related#it is my driving force#the colors mean things#and they mean these two are in love#color coded boys in love

Hellooooo🤎how's everything going?,I hope you are having a great day!!!🫂
If you want and can you could write something about Tommy defending his wife because his son or daughter yelled at her, I saw this on Instagram and thought Tommy would definitely be that kind of husband who says 'she's your mom but she is also my wife, and you are going to respect her'🙂↕️ I have a really nice image of Tommy defending his wife like that (I wish it was me)🤭
If you take it, thank you!!! and if it's also good, I love what you do🤎🤎
Tommy will always defend his wife!
This was requested BEFORE the inbox got closed!
To say you’re in a happy family is true but just like any other family you have the ups and downs. Tommy and you have been married for sixteen years, sixteen amazing years with lots of love, laughs and a few business opportunities that neither of you spoke of once the deal was done. In those twelve years you had two children with Tommy: Daisy Ann Shelby and Dean Arthur Shelby! You had twins ! So that’s why both of their names started with the letter D. It also could’ve been a side effects from the drugs to help ease your birth.
Over the years the twins grew up and their personalities started to shine. Daisy followed in your foot steps with wanting to learn how to bake, sew and do make up. Once she started doing make up Tommy was on guard even harder because that meant boys would be coming around. Dean on the other hand did not want to walk in Tommy’s footsteps, he wanted to a math teacher because he was excellent with numbers. He did help Tommy with the business a little bit to get more experience and Tommy didn’t disown him for not wanting to continue the business because he knew better than to push his child into something they didn’t like.
The twins just turned fifteen and boy was puberty a bitch!
Tommy had the talk with Dean about the birds and bees, how to clean himself properly so he didn’t smell like a sweaty gym sock and how to shoot a gun.
You on the other hand had given Daisy Ann the birds and bees talk, how to deal with dumb boys, bitchy girls and a few reminders about periods.
One day as you were in the kitchen with Tommy making dinner, Dean came home in a mood and threw his stuff on the ground with a thud before trying to dart up to his room. You called for him to come back and pick it up and even said please. Dean rolled his eyes at you and Tommy didn’t let it go unnoticed.
“This house sucks!” Dean yelled as he grabbed his stuff and stormed off. Tommy shot up out of his seat but you grabbed his arm.
“Tommy, he’s just a boy in puberty. He didn’t mean it.” You squeezed his arm and Tommy huffed before looking down at your gentle face. He ran his hand over your cheek locking before leaning down to give you a kiss.
“Gross.” Daisy Ann wrinkled her nose as she walked in to see the two of you kissing. Both of you laughed as she walked past. “Mom!” She pulled on your arm.
“What do you need honey ?”
“Are you still going to help me with my dress?” She asked laying her head on your shoulder.
“After supper we can start tonight.” She hugged you tightly before walking back out.
“Now how come Dean can’t be like that?” Tommy grabbed a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up while you furrowed your eyebrows.
“He’s a teenage boy in puberty Tommy , don’t you remember it?” You asked going back to check on dinner.
“Yeah, but if I acted that way …”
“And now we don’t do those things!” You quickly responded before pulling the casserole out of the oven and closing the door with your hip. “Now go wash up. I’ll get the kids.” You kissed his cheek as he put out his cigarette .
You called for the kids and Daisy Ann came running down. After a few minutes you went to check on Dean . You knocked but no answer , knocked again and he opened the door with an annoyed look. “I’ve been calling you, dinners done.” Dean rolled his eyes again. “Without the attitude.”
Tommy was down the hall and could hear you taking to him.
“Maybe I don’t want your shitty cooking, did you think of that?” Your son yelled making your heartbreak in half. Tommy could see the disappointment on your face a mile away and before Dean could slam the door , Tommy’s foot was in the way.
“You listen here you little shit, she’s your mom but she is also MY WIFE! And you are going to respect her!” Tommy’s face was dark red as his index finger pushed into his son’s chest. Dean actually looked scared . Tommy had never yelled at Dean like that. You stood there with tear stained cheeks as Tommy grabbed Dean by the arm and took him out of his room and into the kitchen where Daisy Ann was standing awkwardly.
“Your mother does a lot around here and I will be damned if her own children disrespect her.” Tommy said as he brought his son in. “She does it all because she actually loves you! Do you know how many other mothers have given up their kids around here? Hmm would you rather be on the street? Moving home to home? She’s a good person, a lovely person actually and if you don’t understand that then that’s your issue. But again I will not let either of you disrespect her or talk down to her.”
That night as dinner finished up, Dean apologized to you without Tommy making him. You gave him a hug and kissed his forehead which made him embarrassed because no teenage boy wants him to do that! But he did love you. Tommy walked in on the two of hugging and leaned against the wall with a smile on his face. He knew his son was just going through the hardest part of life and had to remind him that it could be worse because even in the Shelby home, no matter what happens you are still loved regardless and that was all thanks to you.

Everything Is A Competition - Matthew Tkachuk
Pairing: Matthew Tkachuk x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 600+
Warning: normal tkachuk family activities
Twelve Fic of Christmas - Gingerbread Houses
Masterlist \ Hockey Masterlist
Knowing how competitive the Tkachuk household was, you should have seen this coming. Every little thing they did they made it a competition. Of course, they would fight over who could build the better gingerbread house. How foolish of you to think they wouldn't.
"Me and dad are totally going to win!" Taryn's voice outpowered her brother's bickering making the two roll their eyes.
"Yeah. You two could not work together to save your life." Keith piped in wearing a proud smile at the thought of him and Taryn sweeping the boys.
"Who said we're teaming up?" Brady smirked making the father-daughter duo frown.
"It's Brady and Emma then me and my girl." Matthew wore the cockiest smile you've seen outside of hockey. One would mistake him for betting on a game.
"We are?" You asked turning to Emma who wore the same confused look as you.
"Yes, you are," Matthew answered for you.
That's how you found yourself sitting next to Matthew with pieces of gingerbread, candy, and icing all around you. The last time you tried to assemble a gingerbread house was in high school so there wasn't any hope. But one thing about being paired with a Tkachuk they are going to make you feel like the star player and everything was in your hands.
"We are so going to win this," Matthew mumbled mainly to himself concentrating on what pieces were the wall and what was the roof.
"Just to let you know I haven't built one of these since high school so not sure how helpful I'll be." You confessed prepping the icing bag and waiting for whatever he told you to do.
"Well lucky for the both of us, you're good at everything." He winked over as heat rushed to your cheeks. Of course, he would charm his way with this.
That's how you found yourself determined to make the gingerbread house look somewhat good. If anything you were a fabulous decorator and took the placement of every candy seriously. Matthew was quite good at making sure the structure held up. Sure there was some cursing and groaning the first few attempts at making sure it wouldn't fall, but after finding the trick with the frosting, he was unstoppable.
It took the better half of half an hour for everyone to be done. Each Tkachuk smiled proudly at their creation while you and Emma were just happy it was over. Looking over each gingerbread house everyone did pretty well, but there were clear signs of what parts the females did compared to the men.
"Okay now to decide who wins!" Taryn clapped her hands together excited to be taking home the win.
"Well, mom?" Brady turned to his mother who chuckled at her family's antics. She was used to them doing so many competitions at this point she would just pick a random kid despite if they actually did good or not.
"It's Christmas, all of you win." At that everyone let out a form of a groan or complaint.
"C'mon, mom!" Matthew begged from beside you, clearly wanting a be crowned the winner.
"Fine fine, the girls win."
"How?! There's a girl on every team!" Brady's voice boomed through the living room, clearly disappointed his mother was beating around the bush.
"Exactly. Now can we please go enjoy dinner."
"Of course, come on kids." Keith surrendered to the arguing, following his wife into the kitchen.
"Well, that's fair, I win out of the both of you," Taryn said turning to her brothers and sticking out a teasing tongue before following her parents into the kitchen.
"I don't care what anyone says we won, thanks to you." Matthew turned to you with a big smile, opposite to the frown he was wearing just a moment ago.
"Doubt that, but it was fun."
"Anything with you is fun." He winked leaning in for a kiss.
"You guys are so disgusting," Brady said as he had an arm around Emma who was laughing at her husband's comment.
"Says the married guy!"

Tommy and (Rocker) Donny are twins.
Their mom died giving birth to them. Resenting them for killing the love of his life, their father drank and took out his anger out on them every night.
When they were twelve, a teacher reported their father to CPS and he was arrested.
After a year in the system, a family adopted Donny. Financially, they weren’t able to adopt both boys.
Donny goes by ‘Rocker’ now. His new last name from his shiny new family. Tommy will never call him that. It’s a ridiculous name.
Donny wrote letters to Tommy after he was adopted. He never opened them, but kept them all.
Tommy joined the army at 17. He was discharged after 5 years due to DADT. Fucking coward, Trevor, reported him after Tommy admitted to falling in love with him. He’s married to a woman with kids now.
He had nowhere else to go. He heard Donny was in LA now. Heard he married his high school sweetheart that no one likes, including him. He crashed on their couch while he was at the academy.
They never talked about Donny abandoning Tommy. Never talked about Tommy being gay.
They text and call occasionally. Sometimes they see each other at work. They’re brothers by blood only, as far as Tommy is concerned.
Evan never understood how Tommy could treat family that way. They break up.
Their father died in prison, after racking up dozens of additional charges while he was inside.
Donny showed up at Tommy’s with a case of beer the night he divorced Val. They catch up – for real this time.
The next morning Tommy goes to Evan’s. This time he’s not going to lose someone he loves.

Harry Styles: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!
When we hear the name Harry Styles, most of us scream our lungs out. The ex One Direction member holds our hearts in his hands without batting an eyelash.
Harry Styles was born in Worcestershire, England February First to Anne Twist and Des Styles making Gemma Styles an older sister. Harry would describe his childhood like any other.
“I was just a normal kid, playing football in my backyard,” he states. “I’d make fun of my sister while she called me a butthead before we’d go and watch something on the telly.”
Styles opens up about being a child from divorce. “My mom and dad had problems. They’d fight here and there and Gem and I would just hold each other in one of our rooms. My parents finally decided enough was enough and separated. I was ten years old, somewhat heartbroken but ultimately relieved.”
When Harry was eleven he met the most loveliest woman he’d ever seen. She’d just moved from America with her dad and five older brothers. The moment Harry saw her, he just knew!
“I couldn’t keep my eyes off of yn. She was breathtaking. I had to get to know her!”
Harry and Yn relationship begins when they were only twelve years old. From that moment they were each others first love. Harry states he’s never felt love like the one he’s had with YN.
Harry opens up about his personal life with his wife and his kids. Including the moment they became teen parents.
“We were young and dumb. The only thing we were thinking about was each other. When she called me crying, telling me she’s pregnant, we were just about to hit fourteen. We’d just started high school and we were scared shitless. I ended up getting a job at the local bakery and our parents helped us as much as they could. When our son was born we never felt so much pride and joy. We created this tiny little human out of love. Nothing has ever made either of us feel more proud.” Styles goes on to say.
Harry then talks about his dream of being a singer. He opens up about how silly he thought it was, but how his mom, sister, and wife talked him into auditioning for the X-factor.
“If it weren’t for my family, I would have never went to that audition! My mom and sister always encouraged me to live my dream. In my head it was a given. ‘Of course they’ll say this, im their son and brother.’ I thought to myself. But YN wasn’t either, I guess it was different when I heard it from her.”
Styles smiles as he discussed how he use to sing their son [Corbin Styles] to sleep. “He’d have this huge smile on his face. Every single time he’d close his eyes, he’d fight his sleep just so he could hear me sing. That’s really when I knew, I gotta audition!”
In that moment, Harry’s life changed forever! He was apart of the biggest boyband in the world, One Direction. Being put into a group with four other boys [Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik] Harry talks about his relationship with each band member.
“Being put into a group with four different boys was difficult, sure! Of course it was exciting and love there in the beginning. We’re just five boys who had the same dream. But we’re also five boys with five different personalities, five different voices, five different views of the world, five different love stories. We bumped heads a lot, especially towards the end,” Styles states. “I think after four years of constant tour, no breaks, arguments, screaming, and barely seeing our families, we were all kinda done. At this moment I was married to YN, she was pregnant with payton, so I wanted to be there for her and both of our kids more. Louis was about to have his own baby, Liam was dealing with his own battles, Niall had family troubles, and Zayn had left the band. We were all kinda worn out. It was time we ventured out on our own and see where life would take us. In a way, it made our relationship better. Niall, Louis, and Liam are all uncles to my children. Zayn was my best friend in the band, he was named god-dad.”
We asked Harry about his first album, how it came about. “It was simple really! I’ve been writing my own music for a long time. I went to Jamaica with my wife and kids and it was lovely. I put together my own band, figured out which songs I wanted out there, and once it was ready, we set a date and even prepared for tour.” Harry smiles at the memory. Though it never reached his face.
This is when we asked him about his second album. Fine Line had been release two years after his self titled album, Harry Styles. Hearing it makes your heart break.
Harry talks about his relationship with wife. He opens up about his arrogance, ignorance, and his affair[s].
“I’m not gonna sugar coat it, I was a shit husband for a long time,” Harry tells us. “The moment we made it big, I’d get this big head and think, ‘fuck im the shit!’ so many women wanted me and would do anything to have me. I was weak and stupid. They all knew I was married with kids, I never hid that from my fans or obviously the women id sleep with.” Harry takes a deep breath. “YN and I would constantly argue. She’d cry herself to sleep at night when I didn’t come home or back to our hotel room when the boys and I were on tour. I remember when she packed her bag and left me.”
Harry wipes his tears before he continues. “It was around the last few legs of tour. I’d been sorta seeing at least two women regularly. [for privacy reasons harry didn’t mention names] She wrote me a note, stating she couldn’t do this anymore. She told me I either needed to get my shit together or she’d divorce me and get full custody. In this moment I knew, I needed to find myself again. Once tour was over, I flew to Japan, took a few friends, began the process of writing fine line, and went to therapy. I was gonna do everything in my power to get my family back together. from there, YN, me, and the kids would work on our new dynamic. I was slowly getting my family back.” Harry states.
Harry opens up about how a lot of the fans blamed YN during the time they’d been split up.
“I wanna clear this up, YN had nothing to do with our split. A lot of people assumed she’d been the one cheating or using me. She was always faithful and couldn’t care less if I had millions or pennies. She loved me for me. Fame just got to my head,” Styles starts. “It was my fault. I’m the reason my family was almost broken.”
YN has been known to be vocal to people who constantly hate on her. Harry opens up about the relationship she has with his fanbase.
“I think if you can’t respect your favorite artist relationship, you’re not a real fan. Truth is, YN is my wife. I almost lost her years ago, I’m not gonna lose her over something so petty. She’s the mother of my children and my wife. People should respect that!” Styles states. He continues to talk about her social media comments and post.
“She can do whatever she wants! I don’t control her, nor does my team! YN has always been very open when it comes to our marriage. She’s not gonna sensor herself simply because others can’t get the hint. That’s one of the many things I love about her!” Styles finished.
During our interview, Harry opens up about his next album before he leaves.
“The next albums gonna be filled with more love than anything. I think this one will be filled with dancing, smiles, and laughter. I’m really excited to share it with the world.” Harry states before he politely shakes our hands and walks over to his family.

joe burrow x og!c
part: 1/?
warnings: cheating, implied sex but nothing explicit, pregnancy (?) ANGST
"Cinnicinatti Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow and Model Designer and Wife Kendall Carter broke off their marriage after 7 years. The couple welcomed their first and only child Natalie Burrow-Carter four years ago.
There has been no comment or statement made by his reps but a close source to the couple shared that the breakup was amicable and that their priority is their daughter."
When the announcement hit the news the only thing on Kendall´s mind was her daughter, she was a beautiful reminder of the love she and Joe had for the time they were together. And Natalie adored their parents, she was the happiest kid when she would accompany her mom to work and cheer for her dad every weekend of the season. Telling her they wouldn´t live together anymore broke Kendall´s heart in a way she didn´t know was possible.
"So Daddy won´t drive me to school anymore? " Natalie said looking up at her daddy as he turned to see his soon-to-be ex-wife, "He will baby, it will only be a few times a week my love " Kendall stopped and place her hand on her heart "I want you to know that we love you and we will always love you" she said with tears on her eyes and gulping "On the bright said you will have two Christmas" Joe said excitedly and held her daughter as she laughed, Joe took her out for ice cream and Kendall took a shower.
Being by herself made her heart race and her stomach hurt, she hated Joe, the breakup wasn´t amicable, it was the worst heartbreak she had ever gone through, she cried herself to sleep constantly on an empty bed, holding the pillow where he used to lay his head. He slept in the guest room, had dinner when she was asleep, and took showers when she wasn´t home.
Every corner of that house was haunted, filled with memories and his laughter, his scent, significant moments, and then also screams and anger. Dinners were eaten my themselves and luggage was never unpacked, the shirts she wore once after making love were back in his side on the closet, washed and smelling like detergent, it no longer smelled like Joe´s cologne or her favorite VS body spray she used to wear at home because she knew he loved it.
She hated that, she was always scared of falling in love, her parents got divorced when she was twelve years old, old enough to realize love wasn´t meant to last, she hated the thought of Natalie feeling that way, she knew love existed, their daughter was proof of that.
"I talked to my lawyers, and they will contact yours soon, you can keep this house and the holiday house in Rhode Island," he said as Kendall was in her closet,
Joe wasn´t brave enough to admit when he stopped loving her, he met someone new on one of his trips to New York, she was two years younger than him, a smart-looking woman who he met at a coffee shop, he couldn´t take his eyes off her. He then found out she worked at the NFL and followed her on social media. The first time Kendall and he had sex after the trip, he was picturing Jaqueline or Jackie as he used to call her now.
With every kiss she was giving him, Joe pictured her, when Kendall was giving him the greatest head of his life, he couldn't stop imagining the lips around his cock were from a woman who wasn't his wife, when he was licking her, he wondered how she would taste, .
He knew it was wrong, he was married, had a kid, and a family he wanted to span, Kendall didn´t want a baby right away, she knew she needed to go back to work, and having a baby wouldn´t be the smartest option at the time.
"I haven´t had that great sex in forever, I bought you a new piece of lingerie I can´t wait to see you on. Love you baby see you in a week"
Kendall broke down crying when she saw the message being sent from her husband's phone, she couldn´t believe it. Natalie was dropped off at her grandparent's house with a lame excuse and Kendall waited for Joe sitting on their bed
"Honey I'm home" Joe yelled from downstairs but she didn´t hear him "Where´s Natalie? What´s with the box?" he asked "How long have you been fucking Jaqueline or do you prefer me calling her Jackie or baby? Tell me, Joe, how do you prefer me to call her?” she said with her heart racing and watery eyes, but she wasn´t sad she was mad, she was angry, and she need him to feel the way she felt.
"How long Joe?" She screamed and he was pale as a ghost, words wouldn´t come out of his mouth. "If you don´t tell me how long you have been having this little adventure I swear to god I will make sure you will never come near Natalie anymore" she stated looking at him in a way he had never seen her before.
"Baby please listen to me" he tried to grab her arm but she quickly brushed it off and fought the urge to spit him in the face she said, "Don´t you dare touch me once in your life again or call me baby again".
Joe sighed, "I have seen her for the last two months, I never intended to cheat on you I swear baby" She slapped him, and he started to cry "You have the nerve to cry?" she chuckled "Joe you destroyed our family, you cheated on me and while you were sleeping with that slut I was here, taking care of our daughter, putting my career on hold just because I loved you enough to support you through your career, I was stupid oh my God" she put her hand on her forehead, "I can´t believe I even had this planned this is so stupid" she threw him the box that was next to her on the bed, a pregnancy test, a positive pregnancy test.
Truth be told, Kendall wanted a baby, she hoped it would be a boy, and she was a bit jealous of how much Natalie looked like her dad, Joe could be a cheater, but at least he was a good father to her kid. She fantasized constantly about how their family would be. This would be her last baby, she would go back to work in the clothing company she worked so hard to develop and Joe would win a few more rings, they would be a happy family and eventually move out of the spotlight.
She found out she was pregnant when Joe was away for a game and it made her sick to her stomach that while she was creating life, he was sleeping with another woman. She found out about the cheating three weeks later, and she was angry, pissed, and insanely heartsick, it was almost Thanksgiving and she planned on giving Joe the surprise that weekend, then a month later, telling Natalie on Christmas day, that dream was crumbled.
"How long have you been pregnant?" Joe said excitedly, "Babe this is the greatest news of my life he said trying to hug her and she took a step back "How do you have the nerve to be like this?" she had steady breathing "You tore this up Joe, you ruined our family and" she stutters "You haven´t even apologized, you became self-center and arrogant"
"Ken if you give me one more chance I promise I will change, I will cut any relation I have with her" he had slumped shoulders, and she didn't say a word "Any relation I had with her was purely sexual, you´re the only woman I love"
Kendall had her arms wrapping around her body "So that makes it better" "No, it doesn´t I know it doesn´t but I can go to therapy and work that there, you can have my phone all the time and go through it whenever you want" Kendall chuckled "I don´t want you near this place until we come to an agreement, if you want to see Natalie you can pick her up at school and go to your parent´s house to be with her" she went to bathroom and cried until she heard Joe leave the house.
That was three months ago, she was 5 months into her pregnancy and her baby was growing healthy, she saw Joe every now and then, the season was over, the Bengals won the super bowl and as much as Joe showed he was happy that night, he could only think of the woman he lost and the family he missed so dearly.
He constantly wondered how their life would look like if he hadn´t messed up things, he hated himself, he hated that he wasn´t close to his daughter anymore, and he was grieving that he hadn´t seen his baby, Kendall told him she didn´t want him to go with her to the check-ups, "Well Joe you fucked up honey I don´t know what you want me to say" his mom said staring at him and her son was crying, he seemed awful but at least he was happy that Natalie was staying with him over the weekend.
"Daddy!" Natalie screamed and Joe felt full again, he knew she would eventually know the truth and he deep down knew his children would hate him for it, he would hate his dad if he ever cheated on his mom, and the pure thought of Natalie and baby Burrow hating him broke his heart. He knew he deserved it, he knew he fucked up and he was sorry.
That evening they went to a mall to Build-a-bear, Joe took her telling her that it would be a nice gesture for her baby brother, she was extremely happy with the news, she loved the idea of being a big sister.
"I want that one daddy" She pointed to the classic teddy bear, he grabbed it and went on to fill it, he knew these moments wouldn't last forever and he was scared of his baby girl growing up. When Kendall told him she was pregnant, he was over the moon, Natalie was a copy of him, she had her mom´s brown hair but her dad's blue orbits. When she was born Joe made the promise to always protect her, care for her and guard her dreams, he was mad at himself now because he knew he fucked that promise, his baby would eventually get her heart broken by a guy, and he was sure she would hate him for what he did to her mom.
"Are you excited for your brother to come home, honey?" Joe said with Natalie in his arms as she was eating an ice cream cone "Yes, but I'm more excited to come and buy Mat clothes" They made the agreement of coming to buy clothes for her teddy bear once the baby was born "Mat? Where you got that name from" he chuckled as he put her on the car seat "That´s the name of mommy´s friend, he´s very nice, look" she showed him a bracelet "CARTER".
He felt his blood boil, Mommy´s new friend? Was he spending time with his daughter, was he bringing Kendall late-night pregnancy cravings? He drove Natalie to her mom´s house. He passed a Trader Joe´s and bought Kendall flowers, "Which one do you think mommy would like?" he asked Natalie, she pointed to the pink ones,
Hoping to come to clarity on who that man was. He parked his car in the driveway, rang the door, and hope to see the love of his life, Kendall opened the door, and the smile she had dropped when she saw Joe,
"What are you doing here? You know your mom is supposed to bring Natalie when you hang with her" Kendall took her daughter from her dad´s fathers arms, she was fast asleep, "I know but I really want to talk to you, I want to see how the baby is doing, how are you doing?" Kendall was a pathological people pleaser, and unfortunately for her Joe knew that, he knew she would´t reject him, and deep down Kendall knew the same thing, she was glad her children´s dad was present in their lives and every month when she got ready for her check-ups she wished Joe would go with her; when Natalie was on the way, she was the happiest she had ever been, she loved this baby nonetheless but it pained her to know her son wouldn't experience having a "normal" family, however, that was Joe´s fault's, not hers.
She moved out of the way and he walked inside, Kendall was going upstairs to put Natie to sleep but she was too heavy for her, carrying a baby and her big baby was something she stopped doing a few weeks ago.
"Can you carry her upstairs? I can´t lift her anymore" She turned to see Joe and he quickly brought her back to his arms, he made his way upstairs and Natalie went behind him, when both of them entered their daughter's room a sense of nostalgia filled the air, a longing to have his family back took over Joe's body, to return home and share his life with his love.
Natalie woke up as Joe tucked her in "Can you stay here tonight Daddy? I promise I will eat all my veggies tomorrow" Natalie said with her little sleepy eyes, he didn´t know what to do, he kissed her daughter on her forehead and Kendall stared at them with eyes that once were full of love.
As they made their way out of Natie´s room Joe looked at her with puppy eyes "You can stay here tonight, in the guest room but you have to leave tomorrow evening because I can´t risk Natalie having the hope that you will come back to live here"

Writeblr ReIntro!
I'm posting a new intro because now that I've been on Writeblr a little while, I realize how much information I left out! Hi, I'm Stephanie, I live in the desert with my husband and baby and three cats, and I'm an ace, bipolar fantasy writer! When I was a kid, they said I had ADHD but then I got my Masters degree in biology, so they claim I can't have it. Online tests say I'm probably autistic.
I used to write sci fi twelve years ago but only low tech sci fi about weird aliens, which nobody likes. Now I write fantasy novels! Lots of fantasy novels! I am beginning to post them on my website so if you want to read them, please keep an eye on this post.
My books often but not always have some romance (either m/f or f/f because I prefer female protagonists.) Since I'm ace (and demiromantic), my interpretation of romance and attraction is not exactly what you'd expect from, say, a romance novel.
I am not going to tell you about all my books! I've written eighteen! Four of them are shelved forever! Here's some recent ones (written or revised since 2018) that I haven't given up on. Please ask me questions about them! I LOVE talking about my books! Also, if you want to be added to my taglist for writing samples let me know! Please also tell me if you're interested in alpha or beta reading and for which book! Mutuals only, please!
My books are beneath the cut! As I add WIP intros, I'll update this list with links.
Cast Out
YA fantasy! On her sixteenth birthday, Zisha is cast out of the Plenary Cities for the crime of being born deaf, like her grandmother before her. In the wastelands, she meets Thesil, a depressed and bitter young woman. Zisha wants nothing to do with her — until she sees Thesil's face in a vision. But before she can find out what the visions mean or reach her grandmother's holdings in the wastes, the plague returns to the Plenary Cities. If the disabled really caused the plague thirty years ago, and were cast out to stop the spread, how can it be back when all of them are outcast?
Status: Finished. Being serialized.
WIP intro here.
Now being serialized here. First five chapters up, one posted weekly.
The Bone Queen
This is my NA fantasy about the aftermath of freeing an undead queen and her skeleton army. They take over the kingdom, of course! The main character, Elise, is trapped in Bandrum palace by Aubrey, the ghost who tricked her into falling in love and freeing him (plus everyone else.) He's an animated skeleton now with plans to marry Elise and force her to carry his children. The bone queen has promised him she'll make it happen. Too bad no one cares what Elise wants. If only she had magic of her own...
Status: undergoing a rewrite after developmental edit. Was 109k before revisions. Not available for beta reading.
Draft number? Hahahaha. It has two complete sequels (The Spellbound King (106k) and The Matriarch's Daughter (96k)) I must also rewrite. This series is going to kill me but I love it. My mom, who loves everything I write, complained that it was weird. I'm very proud.
WIP intro here.
First chapter here.
School of Souls
This is my YA contemporary fantasy about a boarding school in the Bighorn Mountains! It's supposed to be a place parents can send "bad" teens to have their problems sorted out, but secretly the founder is using it to train the kids as sorcerers. Even more secretly, the school devours the souls of the students sent there, and the teenagers who graduate aren't the same as the ones who arrived... Warning: does include teenage addiction to sleeping pills and ghosts and and parental death. It's going to have sequels but I haven't written them yet.
Status: Complete first draft. 83k. Available for alpha reading.
WIP intro here.
First chapter here.
The Many-faced Princess
This is YA fantasy with a historical vibe but set in a made up world. Vaguely inspired by ancient Phoenicia. It's about Princess Ameryi, who was blessed by the genderless trickster god, Akihel, to be able to change her face. If her father the king ever found out, he'd have to execute her, of course. Akihel is just plain evil. All the other gods say so. A daughter who's their champion? Impossible. An abomination. So Ameryi will just have to make sure her father never finds out. That was easier to do before the Asirtinsa Empire threatened to invade and her father sent her to secure an alliance with a neighboring king. She's supposed to marry him. Not steal his face and frame him for murder. But sometimes plans just don't work out.
This book was supposed to be about two lesbian princesses who frame the king for murder so they can elope, but both princesses decided to be ace and there was nothing I could do.
Status: Complete first draft. 83k. It's going to have sequels but I haven't written them yet. Available for alpha reading.
First chapter here.
Map here.
Court Phoenix
This is my NA fantasy! Kerra is a blacksmith's apprentice. Not because she wants the job, but because her mother sold her future to him when she was still a toddler who crawled into live fires and giggled as the flames consumed her clothes. Now she's a woman, trapped by the expectations of her family and her village. Until one day, a phoenix crash-lands and dies in her arms. When it's reborn, it chooses Kerra as its keeper. Soon, her dreary future is swept away. A princess from Skyfire, the moving city, offers her a job in the royal court. How could Kerra refuse? Her family's claims that she'll die if she ever leaves the village are just manipulative lies. Aren't they?
Status: Complete third draft. 104k. Available for beta reading.
First chapter here.
The Revenant Trilogy
Adult fantasy. Solving a murder should bring good fortune, but all it brings Mindral Thideet is disaster. Her fame and peaceful life as head researcher at the city of knowledge end abruptly. In retaliation for her investigation into his crimes, Payar Cheref, the head of the powerful Cheref family, burns her beloved cousins alive and scars her face. The scar marks her as a revenant, a body possessed by a godkin, one of the gods' evil children. Her life as a researcher is over. All that's left is revenge.
No one believes her when she denies that godkins have any power over her. But godkins, real ones, are far closer than she realizes. Tearing down Payar Cheref could destroy Mindral, her family, and the nation itself.
-The Halfway Revenant (rewriting draft 4) 120k. Not available for beta reading.
-The Soul-Seer (draft 2) - 130k
-The Godkin's Gambit (draft 2) 121k
First chapter here.
As Immortality Fades
Adult fantasy. Five hundred years ago, one of the immortal and unpredictable Valteifur visited the kingdom of Kathild and granted the young queen Nelone immortality. But there was a catch. She'd live forever, youthful and strong, just so long as her subjects were happy. For centuries, she's met her part of the deal. But when the Valteifur returns to check on her progress, he grants her a new gift: the resurrection of every single person in Kathild who's died in the last two hundred years. Then he disappears.
There aren't enough houses for them all. There's not enough food. And winter is here.
Status: Complete first draft. 98k. Available for alpha reading.
Bi MC, enemies to lovers.
First chapter here.
Stitches and Memories
This one's adult fantasy. Antea's father ripped her mind apart, left her for dead, and vanished twelve years ago, and she's going to find out why. But when constables try to kill her and strange truth magic grows inside of her, hunting her father starts to look like suicide. Too bad going home isn't an option.
Status: I exchanged this with a critique partner and now it embarrasses me. Fourth draft. 122k. Available for beta reading.
Trigger warning: magic seizures
First chapter here.
WIP intro here.
Triangle Park
Contemporary Fantasy. I have no idea who it's for. An elf exiled to the middle of nowhere ends up stuck with an unexpected child. It's about reluctant parenting and protecting the needy. And elves and faeries slumming it in a mobile home.
Status: Complete first draft. 86k. Available for alpha reading.
First chapter here.
Mud-Child
Adult fantasy. Rebeka has always heard that a woman who goes through menopause loses her spark (the magic that lets her create children). If she's had children, it just makes the neighbors a little more fertile. But Rebeka never wanted a man, and she never wanted to raise a child. Not since her twin sister died and her beloved Suza left her for a man. The problem is, the spark leaves a childless woman differently, everyone says. A bitter hag? She'll curse her neighbors. A sweet dim biddie? She'll give her spark to inanimate objects and create a monster. Rebeka doesn't know which she is, but she believes it's a myth.
That was before the clay in her clay pit woke up and called her mother.
Status: Third draft. 109k. Needs a rewrite! Not available for beta reading.
First chapter here.

Playing for keeps
Chapter I
Masterlist
Pairing: Austin Butler x Y/n
Plot: Austin is the next in line for the throne, but he can’t be king if he doesn’t have a wife. In your country tradition says that a selection formed of 35 young women must be formed for the prince to find a wife. You are obligated by circumstances to participate against your will. What are the chances that you might be the next queen? None right? Right?
Warning: none
Word count: ~4000
"To heal the soul by the means of the senses and the senses by the means of the soul" or something like that, is what Oscar Wilde said to make me really understand why something so simple as feeling the bristles of my brush stroke the rough surface of the canvas. My lines look a little jagged today, my hand keeps shaking and no matter how many deep breaths I take, the rock sitting on my chest hasn't gotten any lighter.
Thirty five, what a strange and odd number, why so many? Why not more or less? Did they have a mathematician who centuries ago did the math for them and concluded that thirty five was the lucky number to find a wife out? I take a deep breath as the word "wife" bounces off of the walls of my skull. It's not just a wife, it's the future queen.
It's been a little more than 30 years since the last selection, when queen Lori was selected out of the bunch by King David and now the result of their successful selection, their son, prince Austin, is about to have his very own selection. All of the girls in the kingdom between the ages 18-22 were asked to submit an entry into the competition, to hopefully end up being the princess of the kingdom and the future queen.
Emphasis on the word "asked" , we were not obligated to do it, at least not by our government, our parents however? Well the forced me to apply, dragged me down to the office where the applications were collected and made me sign up.
"Y/n it's time, come come sit!!" My mom shouts for me and I put down the paint brush, wiping my hands on a rag, brushing back some hair as I make my way to the very small, very crowded living room. My mom , dad and all my 5 siblings are spread around the tv, watching it like hawks. "Come sit!" Mom pats the spot next to her on the couch and I squeeze between her and my older sister.
I can't help but feel angry at the whole situation, my parents live in a poorer side of the country and the fact that they had 7 kids did not help, I'm right in the middle, being the 4th to be born, my older siblings, are married off to their own households where the also pop baby after baby, that is except for one of my eldest siblings, my sister Hannah, who's the reason why mom put me into the selection in the first place.
To back track a bit and explain, my parents met and got married when they were 20 years old, my brother Josh came a year later, he's now 26 married and expecting child number three, his income already stretched thin. Then came Anna, she's 24 she married in a more stable family, but with baby number two, turning into babies number 2 , 3 and 4, yes that's triplets that she's having, money is low. Mark, 22 now, not married, he's actually, well we don't know, he ran away with a girl from around here, we haven't heard anything in years and since we barely have time to live our own lives and win enough for a living, we've put him aside. My sister Hannah, 22 as well, she's Marks twin, she's supposed to marry, but the guy she chose is from a family of twelve and they have little to no money.
Then there's me, Y/n, 20 being auctioned away in the hopes that the weekly allowance my family will get for my participation would be enough for my sister's wedding and some other things for my youngest siblings. After me my parents had kids 2 more times, Kyle 14 and then the other set of twins, this time identical Tana and Lane, 10 years old.
My mom works as a nurse and my dad is a retired guard from our region. Money is low so we all have to work, but with 2 siblings out of the house and one waiting to marry, we lost working hands. I sell paintings on commission and I also work at the local bakery to try and make some extra money, but it's not enough to support me, mom and my younger siblings. Which is why I was forced by mom to join the selection, the family of the girl competing gets a weekly allowance for as long as she stays in the game, not to mention the chance of actually being queen.
As names are being drawn on tv I can feel everyone in the room tense as the 34th girl gets called out and it's not me, I had 34 chances and I lost them all, now I get one more, but I hope I'll lose again. I don't want to go, I don't want to meet the prince or be his wife, I'm not meant to be queen, I'm just not.
My breath gets caught in my chest as the host, Lucas, puts his hand back in the bowl of names. My ears are ringing as he read the name and I almost faint seeing my picture there. "You got it, hon, good job!" Mom says and all of my present siblings start to chant my name, happy for me. I can barely hear them though, so I get up with tears in my eyes, brushing everyone off, walking out, out of the room, out of the house.
My bare feet, touch the sharp gravel, but I can't give into the pain, all I know is I need to run, run for now, or at least until tomorrow when the people from the palace will be at my door to package me up and send me to their prince. Staring out into the midnight sky, I could see everything I had being ripped apart, I didn't have much, but I had enough. Dropping to the ground and letting the cold grass soak my thin cotton dress, I close my eyes, scared to death about the outcome of what I had just gotten myself into.
The next time I open my eyes, two guards from the royal guard stand in my door and my mom hands me a bag I didn't pack, pushing me out the door. I take one last look back at the people I'm leaving behind and I tell myself I have to at least make it a few weeks, so that my sister could use the money for her wedding, then I'd come back and move to a richer part of the country, where I wouldn't be able to ever see my family. Those are the rules, after you get into the game, when you live you have a higher status and income so they move you and you can no longer interact with your past the way you used to.
Watching my step getting out of the car that took me from the airport to here, I take in the palace, with it's high towers and beautiful architecture. People are outside, forming a pathway for us to walk as they chant different names of other girls who also got selected. I am so out my element here, the dress my mom picked for me was too tight and itchy, the high heel shoes hurt my feet and my hands were sweating too much. "Here it goes!" I say under my breath stepping forward and into the unknown building. The inside even more beautiful than I could describe, high ceilings with crystal chandeliers, gold accents and mahogany furniture, underneath my heels white marble floors.
"Ladies! Welcome, I am Silvia and I'll be you're etiquette advisor and teacher, I'll also be your voice here, anything you need, you ask me and I'll make it happen if it within my powers. You will now be less to yours rooms where you will meet your maids, they will help you with hair, make up and clothes and anything else you might need. Dinner will be served in your rooms tonight and breakfast is at 7 am tomorrow, after breakfast you will each get to talk with the prince and get to know him. I've left some pages on your beds with instructions about tomorrow as well as the schedule of our classes. Good evening going forward!" The tall blonde woman left our sight walking gracefully in her long gown. I wonder if I'll ever be like her? Back so straight, shoulders so strong, hair so put together, make up so natural yet so beautiful, voice so clear, everything about her spoke volumes on everything I was not. I don't know how they expect me to last a day here.
In my room, I stand and wonder how can a place for one person be the size of my home which currently houses 7, now that two of my siblings had moved out. "Lady Y/n!" Two petite women curtesy in front of me, they look like sisters, about the same age as me, but one of them looks a bit older. "Just Y/n" I lick my lips fiddling with my fingers. The older one nods, smiling. "A-and you are?" They seem confused by my question. "Your maids lady!" The other one explains in a sweet voice.
"Yes no, I know, I meant, your names, what are your names?" I ask again hoping I'm not making them uncomfortable. "I'm Jules and she's my older sister Jane, we're very happy and honored to meet you, lady Y/n" I nod, smiling as well, as they start pacing around the room fixing things up. My eyes watch them move, mesmerized by how synchronized they are. "Can you stand and turn around lady Y/n? We have the water running in the tub, so you can take a bath."
I stand and turn so that Jules could undo my dress, then sliding my arms through the silk robe. "Just Y/n please!" I ask again, all these official things making me uncomfortable. "Lady Y/n, if I may-" I open my mouth to correct Jane, but she puts her hand up stopping me. "You are now a lady, his majesty will refer to you as such and you have to keep to these titles, at least until you get to know him better." I nod at her kind advice and follow her into the bathroom, where she helps me step into the tub, taking my robe away and checking the water temperature one last time. "Well relax lady Y/n, when you're ready, call for us and we will get you ready for bed."
Before she leaves me to my own, I dare to ask her one more thing. "Jane, is he nice?" I ask, this being the first time I actually my curiosity about the prince, spiked ever since I was selected. Jane gives me a soft smile, fixing the creases on her apron. "That's for you to decide lady Y/n, but his majesty, prince Austin has always been well liked by the staff." She leaves before I get to asks anything more and I take that as her polite way of saying that's how much she's allowed to say.
The bed here is so much softer than the one at home, the one I uncomfortably share with my twin sisters. The sheets are so soft and silky, it feels like I could turn to fast and fly off the bed. Jules and Jane left shortly after, brushing my hair back and helping me into my silk night gown. Even in this big room, air feels compressed and I want to walk, so I find myself putting on my slippers , taking a moment to look at them, I've never had slippers before. I the dark of the room I make out the location of the door and I turn the knob slowly, trying to make no sound.
I feel a cool breeze brushing my bare legs and I follow it thinking this could be the way to find a door leading outside. Only thing stopping me are the two guards standing in front of it. "Miss are you lost?" One of them asks, making me blush, finally so aware of the fact that I left my room wearing only my thin silky night gown. "N-no, I was wondering how to get to the garden." I say hoping my voice didn't sound too shaky. "No can do miss, you need to get back to your room." The guard tells me, his eyes staring straight ahead. "Please, I, I just need a moment." I beg, taking a step closer and that's when they both move their eyes to look at me, their mean stares making me shiver. "Not allowed, back to your room miss!" The other guard speaks.
Suddenly another set of steps are heard and the guards stand straighter. I don't dare to make a move and look at who it might be. "Your majesty!" They say in unison and the blood freezes in my veins. I've never heard him speak before, his voice sounds so clear, a bit raspy, but still sweet, like warm honey. "Lay her be!"
"Your majesty, we can't-" the guard protests. "I said let her be, open the doors!" They do as he says and I don't wait to walk out, the cold air hitting my warm skin leaving goosebumps. "Stay 5 minutes, then back to your room, if you won't go willingly they have my permission to drag you there." I stop and without turning around I say. "Thank you, your majesty!" My voice sounding like it's under water.
I didn't stay too long after I heard him walk away, running back to my room almost immediately after. Sleep came to me easily after that, but I still felt restless now as Jane brushed my hair into a braid. They put me into a floor length light green dress, with beautiful lace details all around the corset. I looked like a princess this morning when I looked at myself in the mirror and I couldn't believe it and then for just a moment too long I had questioned why I pushed this competition away so vehemently. That last thought however got send back to the depth of my mind and I was now patiently waiting for my turn with the prince, tormented by the wonder of whether he would recognize me from last night or not.
At last my turn comes and I get up from my seat, fixing my dress as I walk with my head down toward the table where he awaits for me. Sitting down, I still keep my eyes on the ground scared to look at him, feeling my heart thudding against my corset concealed chest. "Y/n? Right? Pleased to meat you, I do hope you're feeling better." His voice comes out first, breaking the silence and making me finally look at him. I had seen him on tv, but the screen did him no justice, the blue in his eyes is so electric, the gold in his hair, is so endearing, my fingers itched with the wish to have a feel at it, his pink lips look so soft and warm. Everything about him is inviting and the way he seats in his chair, leaned back with his legs crossed, his chin in his hand, makes him look so young and careless, which he is, being only 22 and a prince.
"Yes, your majesty, I'm quite well, thank you!" I blush deeply, my hands clutching the material of my dress in a stupid attempt to calm my nerves. Austin's eyes move to my hands and back to my face, a concerned look painting on his god like face. "Are you all right? Lady Y/n?" He asks, changing his position in the chair, leaning towards me. "If you're not feeling well, I can have for the doctor to come and see you later Lady Y/n." He says in a whisper. The word doctor makes me immediately let go of my dress and smooth down the creases, breathing deeply. "I am fine your majesty, it's all nerves."
Austin hums and I expect him to go back to his previous sitting position, but he doesn't, he actually leans a bit closer if that were possible. I can now smell his woodsy cologne and a warm fuzzy feeling takes over my body. "You don't need to be nervous, I'm just a boy, just as you are just a girl-".
"But you're not" I find myself rudely interrupting him. "You're going to be king some day and 35 women were randomly chosen to come here and allow you to peruse them. 35 is a strangely small number compared to all the women out there that could be potentially way better for you than any of us."
"Then why come here? Why put your name in the ballot in the first place?" He asks and I can't read if he's been offended by what I said or not. "Your majesty, I apologize!" I look away from him and I can't help but notice that the other girls are all watching us, just like I had watched the previous ones when they were up here. I can only imagine they are analyzing if he likes me better or not.
"Don't apologize, keep talking, I feel you have a point." Austin urges me and I bite my tongue. "Lady Y/n, my situation is unique, but I have no choice, it does not matter if the love of my life is someone outside these walls, I am not allowed to meet them. So please keep talking!" I feel sad for him, it's clear he's thought the same thing as me, what if his one true love is not one of us, but he's obligated to choose one of us either way.
"My favorite book, "Withering highlights" the protagonists were not allowed to love each other but they did and the impossibility of being together killed them, had they not ever met, they would've been able to love someone else and live. I think what I said is quite wrong your majesty, maybe neither of us will be the love of your life, but with time you might find someone among us, that you could learn to love and survive."
Austin opens his mouth to say something, but he doesn't get the chance, since it's announced that our time is up and I must go in order for the next girl to come. I get up breathless and do a very bad curtesy.
The rest of the day I can't help but feel like I'm sitting on egg shells, I knew I had let my stupid mouth speak before I gave to much thought, but something about him made me feel like I could speak my heart. Jane brushes my hair, as Jules arranges things around the room, taking the pillows off the bed and putting in place the last things for me to go to bed.
A knock on my door makes Jane jump as she brushes my hair and Jules goes to open the door. "Your majesty!" I hear Jules say and so I turn to see him, in all his glory, wearing the same dark brown suit from breakfast, only he's discarded the jacket and the tie, a few of the buttons from his shirt being undone and revealing some of his chest, the sleeves are rolled up and this look suits him much better than the previous. Realizing I was just sitting and staring, I quickly get up and curtesy. "Your majesty!"
"How would you like a stroll out in the gardens, Lady Y/n?" Austin's voice is calm and my ears are ringing, so I barely make out what he's saying, but I nod. "Yes, um Jules, my robe please!" I say, remembering I'm just wearing my night gown, which was very inappropriate. "Lady Y/n!" Austin extends his hand and I walk the few steps over to him, putting my significantly smaller arm around his.
He takes the lead and walks us out of my room and to the gardens. My thoughts are racing, I'm not stupid I know he could have every advantage right now to try and make an inappropriate move onto me, but he doesn't seem like that kind of guy, but how does that kind of guy look anyway.
"You're awfully quiet." He says as we walk through the dimly lit gardens. "I was waiting on you your majesty." He stops and turns to look at me. "Why so?" Austin asks blinking. I simply shrug my shoulders.
He sighs and licks his lips, walking further into the gardens without another word. The whole situation is rather spooky and I can't help the anxiety building up inside me. Soon we get to a table, decorated with candles and flowers, steaming cups of tea resting on it. "I thought we might enjoy some hot tea, it's a bit chilly out." He pulls my chair out for me and I sit down hesitant.
"Tell me more about you, your favorite book is "Withering highlights", what else do you like?" It takes me a moment to realize that he is being serious I can't stop the giggle that comes out. Confusion is once again shown on his face, but this time is accompanied by something else, the corner of his mouth slightly pointing up, he's amused too. "You really want to know?"
"Well I must find a wife somehow." The breath gets knocked out of me by his statement, for a split second I had forgotten why I was here, to play in the game of selection.
"I like to bake and knit, I make clothes for my siblings all the time, but by far my favorite thing is painting, there's something so strange about being able to use my own hands to capture a moment I time li you would a picture." He looks at me as I talk and something in his demeanor tells me he's actually interested.
"Picture, I, well I don't paint, but I do enjoy photography." He admits, his eyes glimmering with excitement. "Really? And what do you find best to photograph? Objects, humans or nature?" I ask, Austin blushing slightly. "All, I can't say I'm that good, I don't have enough time to dedicate to the hobby, but I enjoy it."
"I don't believe that you must show me one day, any kind of art is good art. I don't have any of my paintings here, but perhaps if I got the supplies I could paint you something!" I propose, trading the experience of showing off our works of art. "Perhaps one day." Austin says absentmindedly, clearing his throat before getting up. "It's late, I should escort you back to your room!" He says hastily.
I don't bring up how neither of us even touched the tea or what a short time had passed since we got here, the tea still steaming in the cups. Something about him has changed, he's much colder, stiffer if you may. No more words are exchanged between us, except the good night he rapidly wishes me, before walking away.
I'm left confused and with another feeling stuck in my heart, because for a moment there I actually let myself go and I got happy? Maybe, I don't know.
Sleep came to me very difficult and when I woke up this morning I had a headache, I didn't want to see or talk to anyone. As Jules is complaining that I had tangled my hair so bad in my sleep another knock is heard and my heart stopped. Is this hope I'm feeling? Hope that is Austin?
"Lady Y/n, a package for you!" Jane announces.
I get up taking the note from her hand, looking at the huge box that bigger than her. I open the small envelope and the first thing I notice is the very clean and neat handwriting.
<Lady Y/n,
I hope you will forgive me for leaving so hastily as I did last night, but I figured that our encounter wasn't quiet up to etiquette and in fear of damaging you or me, I thought it better continue some other time. Please forgive me and accept this gift, I hope you'll have a painting to show me soon enough

Rewrite The Stars
Chapter Thirteen
Summary: One photo changes your whole life, when you accidentally bump into a celebrity and the world starts to believe that you are a couple.
Notes:
In this chapter, we have an extra character called Enzo, whom I'd like you to imagine as the actor Enzo Vogrincic. And for those who enjoy the fanfic, I appreciate if you reblog or like. Thank you to everyone who is following the fic.
chapter twelve chapter fourteen
The next day came too quickly. Enzo texted you saying he'll pick you up for a tour around the city. He wants to explore the big city before leaving. Since it's your day off, you saw no harm in taking your ex-boyfriend on a tour. You pick out a dress and quickly get ready to go out. As you're about to leave, you notice a notification on your phone saying: "I want to see you." The number appears as unknown, but your heart begs for it to be from Pascal. Seeing him yesterday reignited a flame that had been extinguished within you. You were about to respond to the message on your phone asking who it was, but then you heard the honk of a car and quickly realized it must be Enzo. You hurriedly finish getting ready, checking yourself in the mirror as you put on some lipstick and perfume. Then, you take the elevator to meet Enzo. He looks handsome, with his hair lightly brushing his face, dressed in jeans and a gray hoodie.
"You're looking like a movie star; I'm not sure if I'm appropriate to accompany you. Dating a celebrity must have made you more stylish. I don't remember you getting so dolled up when we were younger." Enzo says as you're getting into his car. You playfully slap his arm and give him a scowl, wondering where he got that idea. You've always dressed like this.
"You just weren't paying attention to me back then, you goof. I've always dressed the same way, even before dating Pedro. Now let's get going before I change my mind." You say, and you both laugh. That was the best part of dating Enzo—he was fun. In summary, your relationship could have been perfect if it weren't for two factors: lack of passion and the fact that he wanted to get married and have kids. And it's not that you don't want those things, but you want a little more. Traveling the world maybe, starting your own business, perhaps a restaurant. You've never told anyone, but you've been saving money to be able to take a professional culinary course.
"So, I'll be blunt. Your mother sent me here to take you home. She thinks your failure in the relationship with Pascal is further proof that she's right." Enzo speaks after a few minutes of silence. The sound of the music playing on the radio seems to be drowned out by the anger boiling in your blood. How could your mother think that a setback would make you go back?
"You know I really like you, but there's absolutely no chance I'll go back to my mother's house with my tail between my legs and become the woman she wants me to be." You respond decisively. Enzo chuckles discreetly, as if he already knew you would say that.
"I'll pass that message along to your mom. Another thing I'd like to mention is that I enjoyed it. Our kiss, I mean. I know you were trying to show that we don't have chemistry, but I didn't get over you." Enzo speaks, seeming a bit nervous but sincere. It's cute, don't get me wrong. It's just that you don't believe you and he could get back together.
"My dear Enzo. You are everything a woman could ask for. Everything anyone could ask for, really. But we both know how this will end. Me here, you there. You wanting things I'm not sure I want, and me wanting things you don't want. Eventually, we'll ruin the good memory we have of each other. Kissing you was a desperate measure, but it was totally worth it. However, I don't think I can love you now." Words seem harsher when you speak with such conviction. But inside your heart, you know why you don't want to give Enzo a chance. Pedro Pascal is engraved in your heart.
"Thank you for your sincerity. Pascal really is a lucky guy. I hope he knows that." Enzo speaks and you wonder if he didn't notice that Pascal literally dumped you.
"You noticed that Pedro broke up with me, right? I don't know if he thinks he's lucky." You speak with a certain fear. I'm afraid I realize that you feel something very real for Pascal. I mean, why else would you want Pedro to want to be with you?
"Believe me, he'll realize quickly that he made a mistake. I could say he might realize sooner than he thinks." Enzo speaks, parking the car in front of an ice cream parlor. Across the street stands one of the tallest buildings in the city. And in front of that building, you notice Pedro Pascal filming something. There's a crew with him, he's dressed in a suit, all polished. He looks almost like a prince. You and Enzo get out of the car, and while you try not to attract attention, Enzo simply waves in Pascal's direction.
"You've gone crazy?" You ask, holding Enzo's hand down, hoping Pascal hasn't noticed anything. After all, his job is to focus on the camera, not on who's passing by on the street. You grab Enzo's hand and lead him into the ice cream parlor. He laughs like a child who's just pulled off a prank, and you shoot him a look that could kill. It would be so embarrassing if Pascal saw you. But apparently, he didn't.
"You should go talk to him after he finishes filming. That's what I would do if I were in your shoes." Enzo says as he eyes the various ice cream flavors and places his order with the ice cream parlor owner. You look nervously at him and then order a chocolate ice cream.
"And say what? 'Pedro, would you like to talk about what we could have been if you hadn't messed everything up?' " You say ironically, thinking about how foolish it would be to talk to Pedro now. Enzo, who is looking in your direction, points behind you, and it's as if your body alerts you that Pascal is there. The damn guy saw us.
"I would indeed, if you gave me that opportunity." Pedro basically responds to your hypothetical dialogue, and you feel the urge to run away. Enzo, who is busy getting his ice cream and yours, says nothing.
"You shouldn't be filming right now?" You respond while taking your ice cream from Enzo's hand and then find yourself unsure of what to do. Leaving the ice cream shop would be daring, given that Pedro is here, and if someone takes a photo of the two of you, it would cause a scandal. On the other hand, staying seems like a festival for you to embarrass yourself.
"I saw you and couldn't concentrate anymore. So, we took a break from filming. And I believe we can have a moment to talk, if it doesn't bother you two?" Pedro says, looking at Enzo and the ice cream shop owner. Both of them leave shortly afterward, Enzo probably heading to his car, and the owner going to the back of the shop.
"It's great to see that you've lost track of that. And what if a photographer passes by, or if that ice cream vendor mentions you're here? What are you going to do to stop the countless rumors about us?" You ask, looking into Pedro's eyes as he smiles at you as if you've said something nice.
"I don't care. If the world out there catches fire while I'm here with you, I couldn't care less. Now the question is, are you ready to give me a chance? To hear that all of this was my agent's decision, who didn't consult me about whether I wanted to end things or not? To understand that I've basically been sleeping and waking up thinking about you? Or do you prefer to keep hating me? Because honestly, I don't mind if you hate me, but at least give me a chance to..." Pedro declares to you, his eyes welling up with so much passion. It's as if he's acting without acting, as if he really needs you. In that moment, you found yourself lost in his gaze, unsure of what to say or do. Your mind is so muddled that you stare at him, wanting desperately to find a way to express what you're feeling. And then, you feel ready to say something.

Fictober Day 9: "don't listen to me, listen to them"
That '70s Show Fanfiction
Hyde paced W.B.'s office at Grooves's headquarters. Angie was present, as was Jackie. She'd taken time off from her busy-as-hell schedule for this meeting.
"It's a dumb idea," he said. "I shouldn't have even brought it up."
"It's not dumb, and I'm happy that you told us about it." W.B. grasped Hyde's arm, stopping him near W.B.'s desk. "You're turning twenty-nine in less than two months. You're engaged. You should want more."
Angie's facial expression showed that she'd been waiting for this day. "I dreamt of running a record store since I was a kid. Then of running all of Grooves someday, and now I'm the company's senior VP of operations. You're allowed to pursue your dreams, too."
"I've already got more than I ever freakin' dreamed." Hyde glanced back at Jackie, who'd remained silent so far. "It ain't fair to to risk it all."
"You don't think creating Grooves was a risk?" W.B. said. I was married to Angie's mother, who was pregnant with Angie. We needed the security of a regular paycheck, but her mom wanted me to be happy. And my risk eventually paid off more than anybody could've imagined."
Hyde gestured in defeat. "I can't imagine this workin'."
Jackie stepped toward him and touched his hand. "Neither can I."
"Exactly."
"But don't listen to me. Listen to them."
Hyde stared at her. "Who the hell are you, and what've you done with my chick."
"Steven." She jostled his hand. "I'm redesigning my whole spring collection. I can't imagine that working either, but I'm doing it anyway. This time next year on October ninth, 1990, you'll have put out your first record on your own label."
"A sub label of Grooves Records, of course," Angie said with a smirk.
Hyde bowed his head and hunched his shoulders. "That's nepotism."
"That's expanding the family business." W.B. patted Hyde's back. "I'm not taking an opportunity away from anyone else. You've earned this. The demos you've played me, you have the ear, son."
Hyde sat in the closest chair. His legs were shaking from what was being said, being offered.
"You've been apprenticing under Frankie Branch to learn audio engineering, music production, for how long?" W.B. continued. "Picked up the guitar expertly in three years of lessons and learned as much by listening to songs. Taught yourself bass guitar. Became Cam's favorite drum student, and that's saying a lot."
Angie gazed at the high ceiling and shook her head. "Edna and Bud gave you no chance to realize you have perfect pitch. You didn't understand what you were capable of. You've had to play catch-up in your mid-twenties."
Jackie stood in front of Hyde and rubbed his arms over his long sleeves. "Your childhood was stolen from you. You once told me all the doors were locked for you but one. Your family, your true family, has unlocked so many. You've walked through a lot. Don't shut this door and walk away."
Hyde covered his face in his hands. His emotions were getting to him, breaking through his defenses. As a kid, Formans' folks signed Forman up for jazz guitar lessons, which he abandoned. Only the acoustic guitar remained, and Hyde played that thing every second he could at the Formans' house.
He used Forman's beginners' workbook to learn tabs that were printed alongside sheet music. Hyde couldn't read music for shit, but tabs he got. Songs on the radio, on records, stuck in his skull like recordings. He figured out how to play the guitar parts himself and, back then, had no clue why could do that.
He understood now.
"Son, are you all right?" W.B. said.
Hyde raised his head and wiped his eyes. "Yeah. Just ... when ya don't believe something's possible for you for so damn long -- and then it happens? Kind of a mind fuck."
"So you'll start your label?" Jackie smiled at him with such hope, such support, he would've fallen in love with her if he hadn't already fallen twelve years ago.
"Yup."
Jackie cheered, and W.B. congratulated him in a proud, fatherly way Hyde was still growing used to.
"What are you going to call it?" Angie said.
Hyde grinned. "Burn-Out Records."
