Think Later
~think later by Tate McRae~
Author's Note: Requested! I love this song so mf much Summary: Jack and Luke's sister is in town to visit when she finds a different Devil's player more interesting Warnings: implied smut, a very brief mention of toxic relationships Word Count: 1,585 Nico Hischer vs. Hughes fm!reader
Jack pulled his gear from his shoulders, letting out a huff of air. The team had beaten the Bruins in a 4-2 win. Where he scored two goals. He was excited to get out of the locker room because his older sister was in town. Her flight landed an hour before the game started, she barely had to time to go to Jack’s apartment and drop her bag off.
“You guys going to Jerry’s?” Nico asked. It was bar and restaurant that the team liked to go to after they won games. Or even after horrible losses. Jack shot a look towards Luke across the room. Luke took a deep breath.
“Our sister is in town, she might want to just go home,” Jack offered. Nico perked upward, a smirk toyed to his lips.
It was safe to say, he has crushed on Y/N since the first time he met her. It was during Jack’s rookie season, she stayed with Jack for a few weeks. Jack was struggling emotionally for a lot of his rookie year, and having his older sister in town was simply enough to help him get through it.
“Don’t even think about it,” Jack pointed towards Nico. The locker room was pretty empty at this point, most of the guys had showered and left already. Luke furrowed his eyebrows harshly as he whipped his head around.
“I wasn’t-” Nico started but Luke interrupted.
“She just got out of a relationship,” Luke let out as he walked towards Nico.
“I said I wasn’t thinking about it,” Nico defended as he ran his fingers through his hair, “I’m gonna hit the showers,” Nico continued as he had a small smirk on his lips.
It took another twenty minutes before both Jack and Luke left the locker room to see their older sister Y/N waiting for them. Luke smiled widely as he quickly made his way towards her. She gladly opened her arms for her youngest brother.
She was technically the oldest. She was older than Quinn by twelve minutes. A fact she constantly reminded Quinn of. She was the only Hughes kid that lacked any interest in hockey, other than her brothers playing. She was a theatre kid, which was a complete one-eighty to what her parents childhoods were like. Her brothers were always more than supported.
She felt teary-eyed as she engulfed her younger brother in a tight hug. This was the first time she saw Luke play in person in the Devils jersey. Her ex-boyfriend was a really difficult guy and wouldn’t let her travel on her own. He never wanted to spend the money to travel, so she never went to see the games. She was tightly wrapped her arms around his neck tightly.
“Good job, Lukey Boy,” she let out as she pulled away meeting his eye. He smiled softly as he blinked away his own tears in his eye. She moved away from Luke towards Jack. “What a game, J,” she mumbled as she hugged him tightly.
“Thanks, how are you feeling? Up for Jerry’s?” he said as he pulled away, his eyes slightly teary. She nodded dramatically.
“Oh god, my rich brothers buying me drinks all night? How could I say no?” she asked as she stared walking towards the parking garage, blindly hoping they’d show her where Luke’s car was.
~~
They stepped into Jerry’s to see the entire bar was the team and their partners. The three of them walked towards the bar. Nico was sitting alone, nursing a beer as he kept his gaze on the TV screen replaying their game. It was in the middle of the first period. Jack patted on his shoulder, pulling his attention towards him.
“Nico, you remember our sister, Y/N!” he let out loudly, over the noise of the bar. Nico met Jack’s eye for a second before he turned his gaze towards Y/N. Her eyes widened slightly as she met his gaze. The smirk on her lips quickly went away as fast as it appeared. Jack gave him a visual warning, a small head shake. “I’m gonna get us drinks, Lukey what do you want?” Jack shifted his attention towards Luke.
“Nico, it’s nice to meet you again,” she offered as she stood beside him, close enough their arms could touch at any moment. He turned his gaze towards her, his heart beating hard against his chest.
“You too, Y/N,” he licked his lip as he shifted his gaze towards Jack and Luke behind her.
“What do you want?” Jack asked smacking his hand against her back. She jolted suddenly, looking towards the bartender.
“Tequila soda extra lime, please,” she expressed. The bartender nodded as he began to work.
“Are you sure? Tequila may not-”
“Jack,” she scolded. He nodded reluctantly as he leaned against the bartop. Over his entire life, he knew to never argue with his older sister. She was feisty and could easily ruin him. She turned her gaze back towards Nico.
He never once looked away from her features. He couldn’t focus, he couldn’t breath as she was so stunning. She knew it too. The second she met Nico’s gaze, she pursed her lips forward. She tried to not smile.
“Bold choice,” Nico muttered as he lowered his gaze towards her lips. They were glossed with a red color. She shrugged slightly.
“Boring choice,” she pointed towards the beer in his hand. Nico dropped his head, a chuckle leaving his lips. “Trying to act all tough in front of your teammates?”
“I don’t need to try, I am,” he never wavered eye contact as he brought his beer towards his lips. He took a small sip.
The bartender slid the tequila soda towards her. She smiled politely towards the bartender as she brought the glass towards her lips. Taking a sip, it tasted perfect.
“At least my drink has flavor,” she mumbled as she took another sip. Jack and Luke got their beers and were long gone, didn’t want to stay to witness Nico hit on their sister. Or even worse, their sister play along.
“It has flavor,” he defended, taking a sip of the beer. Cringing at the taste, her eyes widened as she chuckled. He smiled, “Didn’t say good flavor,”
She leaned towards him, sliding her glass over, “Go ahead, try it,” she expressed. He clenched his jaw as he reluctantly placed his beer down. He hesitantly took a hold of the short glass. “Come on it’s so good,” she offered as she delicately rested her hand onto his forearm. He smirked towards her as he took a small sip. He quickly pulled his face away, his face scrunch together.
“Oh that’s awful,” he barely got out.
“Oh come on!” she groaned out as she pulled the glass towards her, “You’re joking,” she let out. He shook his head, quickly pulling beer towards his lips.
“No, that was horrible,”
It had been an hour since she showed up to the bar, and it was pretty obvious that her and Nico were into one another. Jack would show up between them every so often, trying to shut down whatever was happening but it wasn’t working.
“You know, I’m not supposed to be talking to you,” Nico let out as he tilted his head to the side. He scraped at the label of his beer bottle. She squinted her eyes slightly.
“Why’s that?” she pulled her lip gloss from her front pocket and slowly started applying it to her lips.
“Jack doesn’t want me involved with you,” he let out. She rolled her eyes dramatically.
“He can’t control who I talk to, or who I get involved with,” she explained confidently. She shoved her lip gloss back into her pocket as she hopped off the stool. She seductively ran her hand across his arm, slowly gripping his bicep.
“I live across the street,” he mumbled as he lowered his gaze towards her lips. She nodded as she slowly ran her hand down his arm again, interlocking her fingers with his.
“I just got out of a bad relationship,” she explained, meeting his gaze, “Bad in more ways than one,” she let out. Hoping he caught on. He nodded as he cleared his throat.
“Come on,” he mumbled as he stood up from his stool, guiding her towards the bar exit. Y/N’s met Luke’s gaze from across the bar.
He tried to hold in his laughter as he watched Nico drag Y/N out of the bar. Luke smacked his hand against Jack’s arm. Jack and Dawson both shifted their gaze towards Luke. “Caps hooking up with our sister,” he let out, subtly pointing towards Y/N stepping out of the bar. He started laughing. Dawson tried to keep his laughter inside as he saw Jack’s angry expression.
“That motherfuc-”
Nico continued guiding Y/N across the street towards his apartment complex. They stepped into the lobby, he nodded towards the receptionist as he walked towards the elevator. He pressed the up button multiple times.
“Think once is enough,” she whispered. He rolled his eyes playfully as the doors opened. He took a hold of her waist, pulling her inside.
“Once is never enough,” he muttered as he pressed the button to his floor. He quickly guided her towards the back of the elevator, devouring her lips in the process.
“Oh my god,” she mumbled against his lips as she ran her fingers through the ends of his hair.

i wan't you (he's so heavy) - satosugu
(angst angst angst how I imagine if suguru talked to satoru on the 24th of December in their seventeenth year. hint of y/n if you squint but platonic. I just wanna hold them and protect them from the world.)
☄. *. ☄⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚⋆☄. *. ☄☄. *. ☄⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚⋆☄. *. ☄
"I have become too comfortable with being alone." Suguru's words mixed with the warm air that left in the fog of the cold night.
"I was surrounding myself with people who made me feel horrible and I felt so broken and sick all the time. But, I couldn't stop...I don't know why, I would just keep calling them and going to bars with them after missions, even though on the other side of the phone I was becoming physically sick every time I heard their voice."
Suguru couldn't make eye contract with Satoru as he spoke, so instead he continued to look out onto the endless road of street lights and snow.
"Consciously I knew to leave, but I was so afraid to have no one. And that it was better to surround myself with people who disgusted me. Even though it's completely hypocritical, because when I needed someone they weren't the ones I wanted help from. When I needed someone I wanted to come home, to Y/n, Shoko, to Nanami...to you." Suguru's hands were ice cold from the left over snow in the gutter that he couldn't help but run his hands over - no matter how dirty it was, it was cleaner than the curses he had been swallowing.
"Which makes me think, I wasn't even afraid of being alone...I was afraid of being comfortable with being alone, finding comfort in the loneliness and not letting anyone in ever again." Satoru's breath warped in the cold night, his usually bright eyes has deepened to a mournful blue.
"So when it happened," Suguru swallowed his pride as he looked to the dark sky, his eyes misting with painful memories.
"When I finally left on those missions alone, that is exactly what happened." All the air left Suguru's lungs, and his hands ran across the cold concrete, as if the hard icy path would sooth him.
"I became too comfortable with being alone. I stopped trusting people, I convinced myself that the world is full of horrible things. I created a fear inside of me for people, a fear that I never wanted to face or fix." Satoru looked to the only person he ever fully loved with knit eyebrows, and eyes full of pain and guilt. Pain Suguru went through this alone, guilt for not seeing it sooner.
But that was one thing about Suguru, he knew how to tie his theatre mask tighter than even the all known six-eye user himself.
"The funny part is, I didn't hate people at all." Suguru let out a bitter wet laugh.
"Every time I returned and saw the friends who did love me, I didn't feel lost, and I forgot about the comfort of being alone. But, when it came to going back on missions that following day, I felt the burden of my thoughts. And I couldn't tell those I love," Suguru fought the urge to look into Satori's eyes.
"And I couldn't let the ones the ones who loved me know about that." His hands clenched into fist. scrapping across the ledge of the curb.
"Not because I didn't trust them, they were the only ones left I trusted. Instead it was because I didn't want it to be fixed."
Suguru faced his lap again, all the guilt of running away eating at him.
"I felt comfort in my sadness, in my loneliness of times someone finally understood me. I understood me, and no one could love me the way I was trying so damn hard to love myself." The fog around his dry and frost bitten lips grew with his heavy breaths, and any tear that had slipped had already dried and crystalized on his face.
"I never expected someone like you," Suguru's eyes finally landed on Satoru, but still not meeting his eyes, just his figure. "I was terrified of someone like you."
Satoru's breath caught in his throat as he was faced with the truth.
"Someone who broke through that loneliness that I had finally accepted. Someone who so easily said they cared and wanted to protect me. Someone I wanted to break down the walls for."
Suguru paused as his eyes finally came into focus with Satoru's features, with his burning stare. The fire in his eyes so hot they settles into blue flames.
"The indestructible walls that have lasted through every war around me...and within me." Suguru could feel the knot in his throat tighten as he held Satoru's gaze.
"I have no idea how to let you in..." The words sounded like an apology as they left Suguru's lips.
One he wanted to say but didn't know how. A yearning for Satoru to understand was whining at the back of his throat. "I don't know how to love you healthily."
"I want to give you all the love you deserve. I want to love you full and be able to fight about who didn't take out the trash, but I can't." His cracked lips shake as Suguru finally see Satoru's pained eyes through the mist. "My mind doesn't know how to love normally."
"Then love me abnormally." Satoru's eyes blinked slowly in his lover's direction. "Learn with me. Love me, hate me, yell at me, just promise to learn with me." His soft words of reassurance mixed with Suguru's pain in the thick cold.
"I would give up everything to learn how to love you the way you deserve to be loved." Suguru choked out, swallowing the yearning back to his stomach.
"I don't want you to give up anything," The black hair sorcerer felt the frosted haired mans cold finger tips graze his wrist as his hand settled next to mine. "I will probably love you just as bad." Satoru's usually bright laugh was airy to break the tension in his throat.
"I already do love you so very, very, unhealthily." Satoru had the softest smile settle on his chapped lips. "But, I also want to love you the way you deserve. I want to give you the love I have mistakenly neglected giving you for so long." Satoru tsk'd his own actions, biting his paled lips.
Reaching out, SAtoru finally laced his hand with the one he held so dearly, even if he didn't know how to show it. "So, we can learn together. We can create boundaries we've never put in place, we can create safe spaces we never thought we could experience - together we can love each other unconventionally."
"I have lost everyone I ever loved, and I am not adding you to that list." Satoru said with a huff, causing the bitter air cloud to ward close to Suguru. Blue bright eyes held dark brown with a determination for love that neither never thought they would ever get to experience.
"Forgive how you may have loved in the past, forgive what it led to. I am here telling you thats it's ok to learn to love with me." Satoru pulled his lover to his chest. Holding him under the new snowfall and dull street lamp.
Satoru almost whispered, his lips grazing the dark hair that now pooled his collarbone. "The more you run and hide from this, from us, you will make it harder to learn in the future. And even if it's not with me, I want you to be able to love again someday."

Find the Word Tag Game
I was tagged by @residentdormouse.
This should be interesting... lol. Let's see if I can find things that aren't already shared.
My words: hushed, cried, screamed, laughed, shuddered
Hushed (so apparently I rarely use this word...this is from At The End of Everything which was a SPN fic that was left open to be a Dean x OC one... - written back in like 2010)
Ace was leading the way out when we heard something behind us. I turned quickly to see a couple of people covered in blood. Ace hushed Mary and they spotted us. "Fuck!" We ran for the entrance as they ran after us. I stopped and turned, letting Ace lead Mary out. There were three of them. I aimed and shot, sending one of them flying back. I turned and jumped through the broken glass front. Ace had stopped in front of the car. I turned and aimed at the two that were coming through the store. I heard two shots and they both went down. They didn't come from next to me though where Ace stood.
Cried - Tammy Thompson Takes on the Upside Down
“Shit!” Dustin cried out again. “Go!” He led us through a side door and we ran down an empty hall. It felt like ages but he finally stopped. “Come on,” he strode out casually and we all tried to follow. I recognized the movie theatre instantly. We went into the first theatre we saw. I was hungry but Steve actually stopped at the garbage, grabbing popcorn out of it. “Ew,” I grabbed onto Erica instead.
Screamed - This is from an abandoned LOTR wip lol
"You are certain?" "Yes." "Then send her." It hurt. Unable to describe it in words, she screamed. "Where is she?! Where is my sister?!" "We don't know. She was gone in the morning. She must have left in the night." "She wouldn't leave! Not without letting us know." "She was not here." "We could shield her from the pain." "She needs to go through this to understand."
Laughed - (not me writing out the scene I tried to draw yesterday...)
I don’t know how I did it. I’m scared of heights, if I’m honest, so I’m not sure how I ended up behind its head, legs over its shoulders and my feet crossed under its neck to make sure I didn’t fall off. All I knew was that I needed to stop it. I wasn’t going to let it eat her. I had one hand under its jaw, trying to keep it closed, while the other was on the side of its head, helping me keep balanced. It just laughed at me. “You can’t…kill me…” “Run!” I shouted at her as she stared at me in shock. “Get out of here!” “I’m going to eat you–” “No you’re not,” I ground out, pulling back as hard as I could in order to keep it from reaching her. It sounded like a rip, like the crack that ice makes when you step on it. The thing’s laughter stopped suddenly and I kept pulling, hoping maybe I was giving her some time to get away. I almost fell backwards when the pressure suddenly released.
Shuddered - Another abandoned WIP. This one for From Dusk to Dawn
“How the hell are we supposed to know who we’re looking for?” Seth grumbled, passing around the drinks after paying the bartender. “It’s her,” Richie said. He motioned at the stage. “She’s the one.” “How the fuck do you know?” Seth snapped. Kate sipped at the coke and listened. The woman was staring at the three of them as she sang. “They used to be just like me and you They used to be sweet little boys But something went horribly askew Now killing is their only joy” “Well that’s creepy,” she heard Seth mutter. Kate shuddered, an eerie sense of déjà vu upon her as she stared at the stage.
this entire search just made me realize I need to work on my descriptions lol
Your words: tremble, blood, little, asking, cracks
soft tagging: @chickensarentcheap @ninjasawakenedmystar @stanshollaand @starcrossedjedis @nadja-antipaxos @reyofluke-ocs and anyone else who wants to join

Generation One - Chapter Twelve
Now that high school is behind her, River wants to start fresh. She'll be in college soon and her birthday is approaching, which means she'll be a real young lady soon! She agrees to go with Havarti to buy new outfits and get a haircut before her big birthday party.
Things were already getting off to a bad start. As soon as River left the house to go to her therapy appointment, dread set in. She was going to be changing her look, quite drastically probably.
She didn't know if she was ready.
Therapy went well though. She got out some anger and frustration and left feeling a bit less pensive about her upcoming appointment with Havarti.
They met outside of the new thrift shop and boba tea place. Havarti had a great fashion sense, and would pick something out that fit River, she was certain of it, she was just scared how different it was going to be.
While inside, they found a photo booth.
"We have to take pictures!" River said, "Ya know, to commemorate how I look now. What if I forget?"
"How will you forget what you even look like...?" Havarti started to argue, then figured it wasn't worth it. "Ya know, that sounds fun. Let's do it!"
They got into the photo booth and took some funny posed photos. They ended up looking great. Both Havarti and River got copies.
Afterwards, River spent a while going through the clothes racks looking for something that she would be willing to wear. Havarti gave her pointers and told her what was "cool" and what wasn't.
It wasn't as stressful as River thought it would be, but it still wasn't how she'd prefer to spend her time. After they left, they passed by a Shang Simlanese restaurant, and River stopped in her tracks.
Shang Simlanese was one of her favorites! Dumplings, noodles, meat buns... She could taste the food before she'd even stepped foot in the place.
After a delicious meal, they ended up at Havarti's regular salon. River didn't think it was quite fair that Havarti was making her change her look, when Havarti had had the same hairstyle since middle school.
"My dad won't let me change mine! But you have the freedom to do whatever you want! So let's have fun with it."
That scared River.
What was even more unnerving was the fact that Rowan was her stylist.
"How long have you worked here?" River asked pensively.
"Oh, I've been apprenticing since high school, but now that we've graduated, I got a full time position!" Rowan seemed excited, "Do you know what you want done today?"
"No, not really." River shrugged, "Havarti just said I need a new look."
Rowan smiled and it sent shivers down River's spine. She and Rohan, despite being fraternal twins, were spitting images of one another.
"Ugh. I guess I'm gonna have to trust you!" River sat back in the chair and let her have at it.
About 30 minutes later, River looked down to see a mound of hair on the ground. It looked like a whole cat had been cut off her head.
She wasn't entirely sure it was her, but it was new, so she accepted it.
Afterwards Havarti treated her to a facial and a foot massage as well. Even though River had paid for their food earlier, the clothes, haircut, and spa treatment was about five times as expensive.
Havarti told her not to worry about it though. They were best friends, Havarti came from money, and she knew that River needed a re-do after the horrible year she'd had.
About a week later River's mom surprised her by throwing a big birthday party at the outdoor park and theatre in town. She knew her mom was doing something for her birthday, but she didn't realize it was something she would actually enjoy!
Her good friends from school all showed up - Havarti, Cassandra, and Koshari, along with some of her good acquaintances - Johnny and Hilde. Her family was all there too.
They had a white berry cake and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. They even had s'more stuff to make at the fire pit by the projector screen.
At a certain point that night, after they'd all been talking and joking, while the friends were all standing around the circle, Johnny too the initiative to ask about her experience being kidnapped.
River was in such a good mood, that for once she didn't get emotional or scared when thinking about it. They were her friends and they should know what happened anyways.
"It all started after that party at the factory... I knew I was being followed, or at least I felt like I was..."
"...Turns out, he was at my house! Waiting for me! He drugged me and I passed out. The next thing I knew, I woke up in a cave..."
"...He kept saying that within a weeks time I'd end up in a better place, but I don't know what he meant by that..."
"...Thankfully I was saved by... someone." She didn't want to say it was Ichiban, because that would let everyone know he really was a criminal, even if he wasn't the one who shot Joe.
"But he was shot right in front of me. I didn't have a lot of energy, but I made it out of the cave anyways."
Her friends all looked horrified, even the ones who already knew the story. Thankfully her family wasn't around to hear what she'd said. She never really told them all the details, she didn't want them to have to worry about it.
The party continued on after story time. They ate more food, watched a corny scary movie, and played games.
Once most of her friends starting filing out, along with her family, she was left behind with only Koshari and Johnny. Her mom was concerned about her making it home alone, but she assured her she would be fine.
Johnny, who was usually a goofball, actually felt bad for opening up past wounds.
Talking to Johnny reminded her of talking to Ichiban. Not that they were much alike, although Ichiban was a goofball himself, but just the feeling of being close to a guy made her miss him.
After everyone had officially left she found herself wandering to the pier. The place she first met Ichiban.
She wandered off to the statue of Womp Womp and sighed.
Again, she wasn't sure what the future held in store for her, but she hoped that destiny would bring them together again one day in the future.

the leather jacket effect - billy hargrove x reader
pt 4 - masterlist
THIS PART CONTAINS SMUT, AND IS THEREFORE 18+, MINORS PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS PART OF THE SERIES!!!
other warnings; era misogyny, mean dom billy, sub reader, fingering, f oral, p in v, billy being horrible and then billy being less horrible, slight angst - let me know if i missed anything
REQUEST BOX OPEN! (also, come and talk to me!)
you had only been on a couple of dates before that fateful monday. your first one was freshman year, in '82, when joshua wallace from model un asked you out to a movie. joshua wallace was.. average. he wore khakis and polos or sweaters, wore glasses and his hair neatly combed and pushed back. he was always italy at MUN meetings, and always got a little too into it. you two saw the secret of nimh, a dumb little animated movie about a mouse. you had suggested the dark crystal, or the slumber party massacre, but joshua said his mom wouldn't be okay with 'scary' movies. you two sat side by side, the armrest separating you two, as he snacked on popcorn he bought for himself and refused to share.
and then there was eric. he played tennis. actually, he spent more time playing tennis than actually breathing or sleeping. he was sweet. brown eyes, wore button ups and jeans and pulled out chairs for you and opened doors. he asked you out to his own tennis game. you went, it was boring, long, and you didn't quite understand the appeal of a bunch of dudes in white throwing around a ball. you made out in his mom's car after that, and then he struggled for about five minutes to open and put on a condom. you were bored the entire time, even though your famous “first time” is supposed to be romantic, special, significant. with eric, it was a chore. the next week, he asked you if you wanted to go watch him during a tournament. you called him to tell him you were sick.
and then steven, from theatre. he made you smile until your cheeks hurt, complimented you and left notes in your locker. he asked you out using shakespeare and roses, and then took you to a drive-in screening of rocky horror picture show. he covered your head with newspaper when janet and brad are walking through the rain, brought rice and playing cards to throw at the screen. you had the time of your life, but you couldn’t stop giggling and looking over at him and he was so damn cuddly. you two stayed late after the movie ended, popcorn and rice all over the bed of his truck so he could lazily finger you under a blanket before having the most average sex of your life. you went on four more dates with steven after that, each one unique and silly and full of giggles and smiles.
but you found him having sex with a girl wearing a prairie dress with a cowboy hat backstage during their production of oklahoma!
so, easy to say you hadn’t had the best luck with dating, or a very dignified sex life. you thought you would’ve found a long term boyfriend by your senior year- someone mundane and kind and.. boring. everyone thought that you would find some wonder-bread to bring home to your parents and sit at a comfortable distance, so when word spread around that you were going on a “date,” with billy hargrove, it felt like your hair was on fire everywhere you went. girls whispered when you walked by them, suddenly guys were paying attention to you and complimenting your skirts- well, complimenting how the skirts made you look. you just ignored it, for the most part. kept walking after saying a quiet thank you. this was not on the itinerary for the year. but everyone was way too scared of billy to speak out about this anomaly. he had been there for about a week and already had the entirety of hawkins high trapped in his fist. except nancy, of course.
“okay- what the hell happened to not wanting anything to do with him?” nancy interrogated one afternoon at your little study group slash chat hour.
“hm?” you hummed, not lifting your head up from your homework.
“billy!”
“the new kid?”
“yes, the new kid- you know who i’m talking about,” she argued.
“yeah. what about him?”
nancy gave you a very cold, stern look. she had this specific face that just read “don’t fuck with me.” her eyebrows were slanted as she glared at you through them.
“okay- okay!” you surrendered, setting down your pencil. “it’s nothing, seriously. we’re just going to the football game.”
“you say that,” she reprimanded, pointing a pen in your face, “but then he gives you his jacket, and then he tries to get a b.j. in his shitty car he can’t drive, and th-“
“i got it!” you grumbled, frowning and looking down at your hands on the library table. nancy took a breath before scooting a little closer to you, her stern face falling into a more worried expression. she was scared for you, you could tell by the pursed lips and raised cheeks and the pure amount of worry in her eyes.
“i’m sorry. i just- (y/n), i’ve seen guys like him,” nancy explained, joining you in the search for a distraction in her own fingernails.
“i know, i know. its..” you trailed off and lifted your head up to look at her, which soon caught her attention and gave her the cue to re-engage in the conversation. “he’s the first guy to like.. notice me. in a while.”
nancy frowned, her shoulders dropping rigidly. she’s been in your shoes before.
“trust me, nance. i’ll be okay.”
she sighed, nodded reluctantly and threw up her hands as a surrender. the rest of your study session had a huge cloud of tension hanging over it that entire time- all the nerds and study-junkies could feel it, and it made the rest of that hour and a half absolutely miserable. but it gave you alot of time to think, as your eyes aimlessly wandered pages and your pencil scribbled in the corners. billy wasn’t going to be an exclusive deal. he couldn’t promise you love, or loyalty, and you had no idea how everyone else would hypothetically react. but if this goes somewhere, this little chess game of yours, would it end in a draw? perhaps his king, instead of trying to capture your queen in all of his patriarchal powers, would pull her into a hug, give her a kiss on the cheek and tell her it would be alright. and of course, there was always a chance you were imagining all of this and it was all a spooky wet dream, and billy hargrove never really existed!
the attention was good, at first, with all the gossiping and sudden interest from guys since now you were considered unavailable, even though nothing had happened to consider you that. boys were just like sheep. and you kind of felt terrible for the girls, feeling like they needed to compete for their attention. you understood it now. all of the times you had made fun of cathy and nancy for waking up early to do their hair and makeup made sense to you now- they were all forced to be in competition with each other, and once word spread about billy asking you out, you were their top competitor. without you wanting to be.
and of course, word got around to cathy. she approached you about it on that friday, way later than you thought she would find out about it. it was during your shared history class, when you were finishing up notes. she had tapped on your shoulder from behind you, and you could tell from the strength of the taps that she was very urgent.
“what’s up, caths?” you asked, twisting your abdomen to face her.
“you know what’s up,” she replied, dead-panned and staring at you with her beady little eyes. cathy didn’t have a malicious bone in her body, but you really felt like she was about to tell you that she wasn’t angry, just disappointed. you could not bare to live in a world with no people like her or nancy.
“… i’m sorry,” you mumbled, looking down in shame like a kid who got caught grabbing candy from the candy jar.
“what?”
“i said, i’m sorry.”
“wait- why are you sorry?”
you looked up, cocking your head to the side. you couldn’t tell if this was a rhetorical.
“because.. i’m going to the game with billy?”
cathy gasped, her hand immediately flying to your arm and shaking her head rapidly.
“i’m not upset, (y/n)!” she assured, her permed hair flying around as she shook her head. “i’m so totally excited for you!”
now it was your time to reply with a, “what?”
cathy beamed at you and giggled a little bit, her leopard printed shoulders bouncing carelessly. “you finally got yourself a little boy toy! and a very, very hot one, at that.”
“oh,” you said, confusedly. you didn’t exactly know what was happening right now. “you’re not.. mad?”
cathy made a weird pouting face and told you very sincerely, “of course not. i’m happy for you!”
you returned her smile in the form of a quick grin, before nodding in confirmation of her approval. you were glad you had the cathy-go-ahead, but there was still that aching feeling in your gut, pulling and twisting and screaming at you to abort the mission. screaming at you that this would change your senior year from the simple, academic, calm one you had grown to love. simplicity was good. unnerving, familiar. and billy hargrove was anything but simple.
"mrs. (l/n), do you have anything to share with the class?" mr. allen, your bald-headed, grumpy history teacher inquired sarcastically, pulling your attention out of your swimming thoughts. you spun around in your seat, completely silent as you shook your head. mr. allen was scary. looked like a bulldog and always wore very comically large shoulder-pads.
soon after mr. allen had interrupted you and cathy, you were given a solid minute before the bell rang to gather up your stuff that wasn't shoved in your locker into your backpack. he made everyone stay thirty seconds past the bell as usual just out of pure malice, and then you were dismissed for your next period.
you made your quick stop at your locker to shove a few more things that you humanly could in there. you could have sworn that locker had some sort of pocket dimension in it capable of holding all of your books and textbooks and notebooks. but it was lovely. familiar. you went there every day between your history class and english, and it was one of the moments in your day where the rustling and chatting and occasional shouts from the hallways around you were welcoming, because it happened every single day.
as you were walking down the hallway to your next class while holding your copy of , something very out of your schedule occurred, however. something that had never happened before. you got.. catcalled? you weren't really sure what to call it, but as you passed a group of basketball players, wearing their lettermans and sneakers and all various shades of blue jeans, one of them whistled at you.
you were very sure it was at you, too, because another one next to the whistler had the audacity to shout, "yo, (y/n)! lookin' fine today!" before the others erupted in chuckles and various sounds of dog-like expressions of attraction.
you didn't know how to react, so you just mumbled, ".. thank you," your cheeks flushing and a shy but very confused smile pulling at your lips.
one of the players, the one you guessed had started this, let out another form of onomatopoeia in a loud 'ooooh!' and slapping the chest of the guy next to him. it was all very strange. they acted like dogs. no, they acted like dogs and expected girls to swoon over them. they acted like dogs, and treated girls like they were the dogs. the entire moment just made you sick in your stomach. it felt wrong. to be objectified like that, like a piece of meat. they were only interested in you because you had been 'claimed,' and you were totally not a fan of it.
and then you realized that your next class was in fact english, and you dreaded your hallway walk even more. maybe you would get lucky, billy wouldn't show up and you wouldn't have to deal with him for another day. maybe billy was merciful enough to spare you from his demeaning flirts until you went on your little outing together to a shitty football game.
you soon realized that no, billy hargrove was not that merciful. he was there when you walked in mrs. campbells decorated door, lounging in his chosen seat with his toned legs sprawled out underneath him, stretching far enough to reach underneath the chair of the person in front of him. he had some smug expression on his face, as usual, like he was about to pull a pair of sunglasses from the abyss and tell you he had you all figured out. and most importantly and shocking- he was early. to a class.
he didn't seem to notice you, or was choosing to act like he didn't notice you, until tina, from behind your seat, drew the class' attention to you with a gleeful 'hey, (y/n)!'
his eyes dragged over to you, standing in the classroom doorway with your book and a composition notebook tucked in your arms. he flicked his chin up as a part of a greeting.
"speak of the pretty devil. we were just talking about you,” billy asserted, every single pair of eyes in the classroom falling on you. this attention you did not like. you could read every single emotion from the room full of opinionated teenagers. it made you feel like spotlights were blazing down on you, turning your face red and your skin hot and a little tingly. you gave a little, nervous hum as a response to his proclamation. the heat of the attention made your knees a little wobbly, your hands unsteady as you walked past billy to your seat. you sat down, slowly as you approached the shark, which prompted billy's body to follow your direction and give you a smile that rotted your teeth.
"you excited for the game tonight, babe?" he asked you while chewing his gum with his molars, that one ending word of endearment making everyone in the classroom have their own micro-reaction. excitement for their bro-dude, jealousy because that should be them getting that title, jealousy because that should be them giving that title, disgust that this was such a big deal, and more. but yours was just shock. your eyes went wide, lips parting in a barely noticeable gasp.
"um- please don't call me that," you whispered, hoping that it was just him that heard it, but unfortunately, the gaggle of jocks emitted chuckles and scoffs at your response.
you saw billy's face fall, with his nostrils flaring like a bull and teeth gritting together. he shot a glare as sharp as a dagger at the boys around him, to which they responded accordingly by falling silent. at first, you thought they were laughing at you for 'being such a prude,' but you soon realized that they were laughing at billy- you had embarrassed him.
his smile then returned with a chuckle as his jaw loosened from its tension, beginning to chew his gum like hew as doing before.
"why not? you're a fuckin' babe," he chided, intending to sound like he didn't care, but the bite he applied was obvious that he was a little wounded by your push-back.
"it's.. it's a little degrading, is all. you could have.. used my name."
he laughed at you. it stung.
"ah, so you're bein' a bitch today, huh?"
"n-no, i just don't want to be treated like.. that," you muttered, your agitation beginning to grow. the people around you basically pulled out a bucket of metaphorical popcorn as they watched the ping-pong match between you two. to billy, it was some sort of sadistic strip ping-pong.
billy was so close to responding, until he was interrupted by mrs. campbell's less-than-cheerful announcement that class had begun and to quiet down. he turned around in his seat, and you could feel the steam blowing from his ears and into your vicinity.
english class was painful. billy didn't say a word. not to you, not to the teacher, not to the people around him. he opened his copy of animal farm, but you could tell he didn't read a single word. you only got a chapter or so yourself. everything felt.. wrong. the words on the pages felt like you were reading an ancient symbolic language, which was the same feeling you got when you tried to read billy. he didn't make any sudden movements until the end of class, when the bell rung and everyone was dismissed.
you always took a while to get your stuff, and billy knew that already, so he lingered, sitting in the same exact spot you last saw him in, with his fists clenched on his desk and his shoulders tense. once you stood up, he followed, turning around on his heel and blocking your exit escape. you two were the only people in the class at that point. he didn't say anything, just took a step towards you and grabbed your chin with two unexpectedly soft fingers. he brought your chin to look at him, a movement that gave you a scary deja vu that made your stomach turn over.
he took a long moment to stare into your eyes with a dangerous, flat look. you could feel his minty breath, and you could see the brewing darkness in his eyes.
"you better learn to watch it," he said. it was simple, a command. a threat. you didn't know what he would do if you didn't, and you didn’t exactly know what you were supposed to be watching (you guessed it was the whole embarrassing him thing). but you didn't exactly want to find out- though, seriously, what the fuck could billy do that would be so horrible if you continued to ‘talk back to him’, even with your innocent intentions that you had before.
he didn't give you the chance to respond, though, letting go of your chin with a slight push, once again slowly turning around, grabbing his bag, and exiting the classroom.
that was all you thought about for the rest of the day. nothing else. just billy. and his fingers. and the dangerous look he gave you. and it was like a horror movie- you knew you were going to be scared and your nerves and adrenaline would be on fire under your skin, but you were so intrigued, and.. excited.
--------------------------
6:24, a whole 36 minutes until the terrible football game was about to start. no one went to the hawkins high football games for fun. the team was terrible, boring, and the marching band completely half-assed it, knowing it wouldn't have been a memorable moment anyways. basketball games were the true games to go to for the game itself- and the guys in shorts and tank tops. people went to hawkins high football games to either support someone, get drunk and/or high, snog in or under the bleachers, and just hangout with their friends in a reckless abandon.
you didn't know why you were going, to be honest.
you heard a loud, angry honk from outside your house, prompting you to mutter a string of curses as the anticipation grew in your veins. you couldn't tell if your hair was standing up on your head like you were upside down. you hurriedly put on your mascara, a finishing touch to a very intermediate look. it was definitely out of your comfort zone, but.. you wanted to impress someone. show them- him, you weren't what he thought. throw him off his game, show him who's boss in this situation.
you did your makeup with your best impersonation of molly ringwald, glossy red lipgloss and rouge on your cheekbones. but you kept your outfit strictly you. you didn't need to change your clothing style for a guy. it was your last thread of comfort that you were strong to hold onto. loose jeans and a button-up, that was it.
a loud knock- no, a bang on your front door sounded through the house. you basically sprinted to it, twisting the doorknob open and throwing the door open so hard it banged against the wall behind it, hopefully not leaving a scratch, but you were too caught up in the moment to check. there was billy, leaning against your doorframe, a cigarette hanging from the corners of his lips. he wore a tight polo shirt, definitely purposefully defining all of his muscles and figure. you noted a little silver necklace with a pendant you couldn't fully make out. his hair was.. well, perfect. it definitely had to be a perm. you wondered what would happen if you threw a bucket of water over his head. his blue eyes were piercing in the dim light, first shooting through your chest where a little sliver of skin showed, making you immediately go and cover it up. they skated up to your face, lingering on the glossy red lips you applied. for you, of course. it wasn't for anyone else.
"uh-.. hey," you greeted, trying to sound as calm as possible. you were anything but calm.
"you get all dolled up for me?"
damn it. he saw right through you.
you just shook your head. you saw the slight hint of a grin. you had to fight with your hand to not reach up and slap it off of him, but it was too planted to your sides to resist your resistance.
he clicked his tongue and looked to his car, before pushing himself up off your doorframe. he turned, and began walking to his car in quick strides. you followed like some sort of lost puppy. he walked right past the passenger side car door, going straight to his own and opening it for yourself, proving to you that you weren't even worth the few seconds it would take to open your car door for you. maybe it was to you, maybe it was to him. regardless, you opened it yourself, climbing into the car soaked in cigarette smoke, ash, and rebellion. billy didn't even wait for you to put on your seatbelt, which you knew you had to when driving with billy, to start up his car with a growl and slam on the gas.
it was about three minutes of tense silence, the small carriage being taken up by soft rock music from the radio and the sound of the camaro's exhaustion, before one of you broke. it was you.
"hey um- i'm.. i'm sorry for embarrassing you, or whatever. in mrs. campbells.”
he just scoffed.
“i really don’t like the way you spoke to me, though. like- i’m not mad, or whatever.. i only want you to treat me like-“
“it’s fine,” he bit.
you could hear cold as ice by foreigner playing on the radio. it seemed fitting, but you couldn’t tell why. maybe it was the icy tone in his voice.
you needed to change the situation, quick, or else you would be calling for cathy’s saving before the game even started. so you decided to.. turn it into a joke.
“but uh- did you see tim’s face when you gave him that glare?” you lightly laughed. “looked like he was going to shit himself or something.”
that pushed a tiny, breathy chuckle from billy. it was lighter than the chuckle he gave when he was mocking you earlier.
you let that light simmer for a while, resorting to staring down at your palms in your lap, trying to read the lines in them and see if the stars held any resolution that night. you didn’t see anything. and then there was a little shimmer from venus.
“yeahh.. guy’s a tool.." he grumbled, but you could feel the jokiness in his tone that threatened to rise to surface.
you offered him the same chuckle he put on the table. you chewed on the inside of your cheek as your eyes followed the lines on your palm, trying to find the courage within to say something more. you turned to look at him, your view landing on his hands on the steering wheel. you couldn't look him in the face, even if he was staring at the road.
“hey, billy?”
he hummed.
“why did you ask me to this game?” you questioned, quiet and very, very sincere. it wasn’t challenging, sarcastic, it was a genuine question.
“i dunno,” he replied. it wasn't cocky or smug, just clueless. he really didn't know why. he didn't regret it by any means, but it was something that just happened and he didn't realize that it did.
"is it a.. date?"
he iterated the same response, "i dunno."
"why are you so.. mean to me? mean to.. women."
billy blinked rapidly, tightening his grip on the steering wheel.
"why are you asking so many questions?" he challenged, crueler than he intended it to be. not that it mattered, anyways. "a little chatterbox tonight, huh?"
you nodded, shrugging. his mocking question was intended to make you shut up, but instead, it just made you continue to talk more. it made his forehead crease. "yep. i've never done this before, to be honest. usually when i get asked out on a date it's... asking, not demanding."
billy frowned, a now angry frown that he was being chastised.
"well, then i'll tell you," he began, stopping you before you could say anything else. "you sit next to me, look pretty and be fuckin' quiet. or you can go talk to tommy's girlfriend about.. shopping or whatever the fuck you girls talk about."
now it was your turn to scrunch up your eyebrows.
"and maybe, if you're lucky, i'll pull into an empty parking lot after the game."
your head cocked to the side as you glared at him, which to him, looked more like a pout until you narrowed your eyes and crossed your arms over your chest. "an empty parking lot, really? why?"
billy scoffed at you again, rolling his eyes until they landed on you, pulling your attention from his steering wheel you had been staring at as he disregarded traffic laws and degraded you.
"oh, that's adorable," he mocked. "you really don't know?"
"okay, if you're gonna be a total lame-ass, i'll just go spend the game with my friend.” you tightened your arms over your chest like you were holding a shield to yourself to protect from billy’s overall unpleasantness.
“i wouldn’t be if you weren’t gonna be such a bimbo," billy rasped, his voice gaining in volume.
"didn’t you fail a grammar quiz, wise guy?” you snapped back. you felt your ears getting hot, your nails bluntly digging into your arms as the anger, and confidence, brewed. “i mean, seriously, do you have anything going on up there behind that mullet besides like.. wondering when you’re going to get your rocks off next?”
your tone became a lot harsher than it was before. your emotions had flipped like a coin, a quick switch with your increasing agitation and anger. you would rather eat cement than admit that billy was affecting and offending you. but maybe it's not so bad, i mean, wet cement looks edible-
"who do you think you are, billy?" you continued, a lot quieter than your last accusation. it was quieter, but it stung like a hammer to billy's head. you scooted further away from him in your seat, closer to the door just in case you needed to tuck-and-roll out of the camaro. you saw him seething, his knuckles turn white as the rest of him turned an angry red. his breathing was heavy and gravelly in his chest, rumbling like a volcano before eruption. "you can't- you can't treat women like they're pieces of meat."
billy gritted his teeth together.
"but that's all you are." he spat loudly, not even giving the effort to look at you as he pulled over in the road and stopped the car.
"no!" you argued, shaking your head, "i'm not! how do you know that you're not the.. piece of meat, huh?"
he laughed. a haunting laugh that you had been hearing in your head the whole week.
then he went silent. his face fell, his hands fell of the steering wheel and onto his thighs. he sat back in his seat, staring out the dashboard window into the darkness that had consumed the october night.
"you're killin' me, (y/n)."
you let your shoulders drop.
"what?"
"i don't want to go to the game," billy declared, his voice much quieter than it was in his seemingly controlled fit of anger.
"what, you wanna yell at me more?"
"no. i don't know-" his voice suddenly rose to a shout, his head snapping to face you. the movement made you jump, swallow a thick cloud in your throat. "- what i want, okay? so if you could just shut the fuck up-" he slammed his palm down on the steering wheel, causing it to emit a loud, dull sound throughout the car that seemed to shake your body. you stole a shaky breath from the heavy air.
"let's just.. let's just talk," you apprehensively suggested, mousey and wide-eyed. billy ran his fingers through his curly hair. he shut his eyes, tightly.
"what the fuck is there to talk about?" he snarled. you fiddled with your fingers in your lap, suddenly losing that streak of bravery when confronting billy.
"your life? my life? i-.. if-.. let's get to know each other."
"god, that's lame. you're fuckin' lame."
you felt frozen in the leather seat, like he had spread out a thick glue and stole the sweat from your body. your chest was heavy, fingers seemingly stuck in a rigor mortis clench. but your jaw opened itself, like a venus fly trap luring an unsuspecting fly with a bitter sugar.
".. what's the necklace?"
billy stopped. his face turned white, a cold white. he flew away from you.
"it's none of your business," he snapped harshly.
your eyes darted from him, to the steering wheel, to your lap, anywhere in the car. they took their final resting place upon him, finding the sliver of skin where the pendant rested.
"i wanna get to know you," you whispered, shrugging your shoulders.
billy didn't further the conversation. just rapidly threw his hand onto the transmission and shoved it into drive, pressing down his foot firmly on the gas so quick you were kind of thrown around in your seat. you had to grab onto the console and the door handle to be able to settle yourself back into the leather before speaking again.
"billy- where the fuck are we going?" you urgently, but nervously, demanded.
you were met with nothing but silence and the engine of his car growling at you.
----------
there wasn't a word spoken in that goddamn camaro until the car let out its hum of sleep and fell into stillness. you were snapped out of some sort of trance billy had put you under, a trance of confusion and a sprinkle of fear.
billy threw his door open immediately after tugging the keys out. you followed him on your side, more frantic than his somehow cool composure. you knew he was anything but cool, probably pretty near boiling level by now. he was such an anomaly. he didn't make any sense to you. when you got out of the car, you saw him leaned against the hood of his camaro, big hands shoved in his front jean pockets. you stood by the car on your side, making sure to not make any sudden movements. you were way too scared to even touch his car, like it would catch on fire and dissolve billy into an ashy mess.
the air was cool, a breeze blew past you and swirled around billy, ruffling up his hair gently. you could smell the water, musty and earthy as it swished around and waved hello to you two. you could see stars and billy's car's lights reflect onto the water, anything but calm as the reflections distorted and twisted and stretched on the surface. you could hear the trees rustling as they danced with the breeze. it was calm. a lot more calm then billy's tension
"california," he finally spoke up, staring down at the ground as he crossed an ankle over the other.
"what?"
"california. i lived in california before i moved to this shit-hole."
you took a step closer to him, lighting a fuse that made his head turn to you. you saw a different emotion in his eyes, something you had never seen from him before. twinkling in the dark, a small spark distant from his irises.
all you could utter was, "oh."
"my dad- neil. he thought it would be good for his stupid fuckin' new chick and her kid. i thought that-" he swallowed, rough and hard and tobacco-tainted, "- that i could make this place mine."
"i hate it, (y/n). i hate it here."
you took another step towards him, the wind pushing you to him and coaxing you to investigate more. you couldn't speak. it was like you were watching a film play out and this was the final scene before the main character got his happy ending. but you knew that you weren't in that scene.
"you- have been driving me crazy," he conceded, his gaze returning to the abyss in front of him. "you.. and max, have been the things that i just.. can't win."
you chewed on your bottom lip, crossing your arms to hold your warmth and dignity to yourself.
"have you ever thought that.. maybe you haven't been trying?" you suggested. you took the final steps necessary to reach to the spot next to him, where you gently rested yourself upon the hood of his car.
"you're too fuckin' perfect. it makes me so mad," billy chortled darkly, a self-pitying laugh that made the night seem darker. "and you know what's the worst part? you're fucking boring."
your eyes glanced from side to side, searching for any words. all you could come up with was, "ouch."
you turned your head to look at him. his spine was curved where he was crossing his arms over his broad chest, his outline visible with the dim reflection of his headlights. his hair was a mess, out of place and frizzy from the moisture of the lake and the frustrated hair pulls.
"i dunno what to do," he said quietly, a small admission of hidden defeat.
"have you.." you cleared your throat to swallow down some of the fear bubbling in your stomach, ".. ever thought of.. not being such a dick to everyone?"
"cut the sass, alright?"
"i'm not being sassy," you dully argued, shifting your weight around in an attempt to make the situation a little more comfortable. you failed at that. "if you weren't so.. mean.. i would've happily gone out with you. you're pretty."
you saw billy's nostrils flare up. he stared off into space before his eyes clicked to look at yours, his head slowly following suit.
"pretty? really?" he threw back in a tone that more questioned if you were fucking with him, trying to emasculate him or something. but you weren't- he was just really pretty.
"mhm.. pretty," you mumbled. that was about as far as you were going to get with him. he still had a brick wall built up, made of hair-gel and muscle covered in thorns that pricked anyone who came too close.
in a swift movement, billy pushed himself off of his car, leaving you stranded in the darkness. he was about to march to the driver's seat and probably throw some sort of fit, but you straightened your knees and took a step forward in the chips of rocks.
"i'm serious, billy," you called out.
he had his hand on the door's lever, but stopped without pulling it towards him to open the car. his tongue poked in his cheek, sliding over to poke out to cover his bottom lip, shaking his head. "you are the devil, (y/n)."
"no," you said, taking another step towards him, swallowing down your dignity. this had to be some sort of trap he had laid out for you. "i just.. think there's more to you than all those.. abs and stuff."
"why are you being nice to me?" he asked, more irritated than anything.
you sucked in a breath and swallowed it down, in the process swallowing down your dignity. the breeze of the night must have possessed you, because before you knew it, you were closing the inches between you two and laying your hands on the collar of his opened polo. you grazed your eyes on the v of exposed skin before letting them walk, rather run, to his face. he was pretty. so pretty that you couldn't help but tug on the fabric, slowly, until the tip of your noses met. he just stared into you, blue eyes intoxicating you until you were out of your mind enough to close the gap and press your lips upon his.
you were kissing him. you were kissing billy hargrove and your head was completely empty. no synapse firings or rational thoughts were occurring to send a signal to your legs to run away and escape. maybe you were just falling into his trap, maybe it was pity or defeat, but when his hands came up to grip your waist tightly, you were spent. gone in the thin ring of ocean blue on his face. it was familiar, the hold he had on you and how he told you he would have you in a jiffy. it pained you to admit he was right. you just couldn’t help it, especially not when he moved to press you against the side of his camaro so he could deepen your kiss, lips battling with each other in a dissonant harmony that was somehow satisfying. but not satisfying enough to get you to stop.
“i-i wasn’t lying,” you stammered with a pant, as steady as you could be with billy expertly pecking at your bottom lip, trying to reignite another heavy kiss. “you really are pretty and-.. and-“
billy pulled himself off your lips, leaving not even an inch between your two heated faces. you could feel and smell his breath, the gum that he chewed and the words he spat to hide his emotions.
“and what?”
you stared up at him, smoothing your hand from his cheek and over his chest, fiddling with the fabric.
“h-hot? i don’t.. know..” you whispered, your eyes finding the silver pendant against his chest and locking onto it so you didn’t have to look at him. but you could feel billy’s signature smug grin grow on his face. you were immediately regretting the decision you didn’t make willingly, but you didn’t back out.
“you gonna get all shy on me?” he murmured, leaning down to force your chin back up with his nose. “c'mon, where did all of that high and mighty shit go?”
he began mouthing over your jaw, making sure to nip where your jaw met your ear. he noted the hitch in your breath by repeating his actions, this time pulling a tiny little squeaky hum from the back of your throat that didn't leave your lips.
"you were planning this, weren't you?" you gasped, leaning your head back without thinking just to let him wrap his tail around and around you until he suffocated you. he took it as an invitation to kiss and bite across the delicate skin of your neck, which he happily accepted.
"ohh, don't blame this on me, naughty girl," he muttered between bites. "but you're just too innocent and perfect for that, huh?"
you hummed a little, "mm-mmh," and shook your head. you didn't see yourself as innocent, per se, but billy wanted to grab the halo above your head that only he saw and rip it into pieces. you had a little tiny urge to prove him differently, lifting up your leg so it bent at the knee and rested on his hip. he caught it for you and gripped the skin under your thigh, letting it mold in his fingers. it brought you closer to him, particularly the pelvic region, which you realized when you felt a hard, thick bulge trapped under his jeans rubbing up against you. you gasped at it, hands jumping up to the back of his head, filled with long, blonde curly hair to lightly tug on it. he heard it, he felt it, and so he pressed up against you, lifted his hips up slightly so he could plant them back down between your legs, gritting his hard bulge between your jeans.
"jesus," he grumbled, sinking his teeth into a spot just above the crease where your collarbones met with your neck. he lingered there, placing his tongue on the target and began to lightly suck.
"mmh- billy, no marks-" you protested, shifting your hands to his chest to lightly shove him away. he didn't budge, simply slid one of his hands opposite to the side of your neck he was attacking, pressing it against you to press you further into his mercy.
he growled, a rumble bubbling in the base of his throat with a, "too bad."
you stopped pushing after a couple of seconds, the exact second a whine trailed from your lips and prompted a chuckle from billy when he sucked down, hard. it stung, a tiny bit, but god did it feel good for your skin to be violated like that. rough and unforgiving, teeth scraping on your jugular until he had decided there was a sufficient enough bruise to make you wear a turtleneck for the next week. you didn't notice how much you enjoyed it before you found yourself grinding against his pelvis, a friction that formed sparks and sent them flying up your nervous system.
"you've been thinking about this, haven't you?" billy whispered, removing his teeth from your skin and kissing up the underside of your chin, up the side of your jaw, kissing the corners of your lips as a finishing touch. "that pretty little head filled with nasty things, all the nasty stuff i would do to ya."
he hit every mark. you had been thinking about this since that damn party, rutting against his thigh lodged between your thighs like a dog. you didn't have to think about that, though, with the real thing pressed up against you and grinding at your clothed clit. you whimpered, pathetically and weakly. your eyes were pulled up to meet his, blue eyes corrupted by black pupils that tied you down in them until you broke.
"you want me, don't you, (y/n)?"
you nodded.
"say it," billy demanded.
you then shook your head. he twisted his wrist around so it fit the front of your throat, lightly grasping at it in his big palm. you felt his fingers dig in your waist, so hard you could feel his short nails pressing against your sweater.
"(y/n)," he murmured, sing-songy and mocking, "say it. i can leave you right here, shaking and fuckin' wet."
you whined again, trying to turn your head away from him, but he was quick to catch your chin, holding you in place so he could stare you down. he had this primal look in his eyes, all of the anger and curiosity and desire spilling from his eyes into you. his face was tight, relentless, pretty blue eyes corrupted with libido.
"i can easily drive you home, you know. let you say goodnight to mommy and daddy knowin' big bad billy got you all worked up."
you shook your head again, as much as you could with his hold on you. you could feel the small droplets of spit flying from his teeth and hitting your face, making you wince with each syllable. he was squeezing your chin now, enough to leave a dull pain.
"come on, tell me. say it. say it and i'll give you what you want," he mumbled, voice low but rising to a harsh whisper. "wanna hear you. wanna hear you admit that i won."
you did. you lost this. miserably. there was going to be no winning this game of chess you had going on, he already had your queen in his line of sight and was reaching out to steal it.
"i want you," you spat out. "i want you, billy."
a sickly sweet, sticky smile grew on billy’s face as he released his harsh grip on your chin.
“atta girl, there ya go. that wasn’t hard, was it?” he teased, pecking your lips lightly as a small reward. his hands met at your waist again, before making the short trail to the hem of your jeans. your eyes then snapped wide open, flying down to grab at his wrists and pull them away. he didn’t fight it, he wasn’t that terrible.
“i dont- i don’t wanna do..” your voice quieted to a secretive whisper, “.. it out here.”
billy was quick to reply with a solution. “my place. let me take you home.”
you paused, hesitant and fighting with yourself to resist him more. but you couldn’t. he was inching towards your queen piece that you had placed in front of him, laid out for him to grab his victory. you could just nod, too much in shock to say anything. your eyes were wide, bright in the dark night and illuminated billy’s sight.
“okay,” you quietly conceded. “alright. take me home.”
he lingered with you for just a second until he was turning around, finally opening his car door and climbing in the seat, leaving you completely isolated and feeling way too empty to be standing out in the dark without him. so you ran to the other side of the car, scrambling to get in the seat across from him. he didn’t even wait for you to sit fully before he was pulling the car in reverse and speeding out of the spot it was in. you two didn’t talk the entire road. you just had your eyes set on him as he disregarded most traffic laws. atleast he was watching the road. so much you don’t think he blinked once. it was intense and heavy and thick in that car. your lungs couldn’t catch enough oxygen and you felt a little fuzzy in the head, like you were walking in some sort of twisted dream.
when he pulled into his own driveway and shut off his car, he sat there for a second, breathing heavily and staring into the garage door. then he suddenly turned to you, grabbed your face and tugged you to him, mashing his lips against yours in an almost violent kiss. it was messy and very sloppy, your lip gloss smearing around your own lips as well as basically his entire face. you felt his tongue press against your bottom lip, filling your taste buds with the taste of him. your own hands found the bottom of his shirt, gripping the fabric in your fists to ground yourself to reality, or else you think you would’ve just floated away.
“lets- jeez,” you struggled to say, just barely pulling away from him. “let’s go inside.”
he tore himself away from your lips. your hair was a mess, cheeks rosy and lips bruised and swollen from his own. your eyes had this shimmer of want that drove billy fucking crazy, like he wanted to split you open. and to be frank, he was planning on it. a week of frustration towards you had been building and building and was spilling out in the form of sexual tension. billy nodded, for once not having anything to say as he climbed out of his car and waited for you to do the same. you mirrored him, stepping out of the vehicle and throwing the door shut. you inched your way towards the front of his car, where billy grabbed your wrist and began tugging you inside.
you barely had any time to comprehend his little house filled with the lingering smell of anger as he dragged you to his room. you just knew it was warm. but hot. and cold. all at the same time- something just wasn’t right about that damned house. it was completely put together- neat and tidy, but was so broken and torn apart. you were tripping over your feet, tripping over your mind as billy’s hand splayed over your wrist in his palm and he dragged you across the house. when you got in his room, it was exactly the way you expected. posters of random, half-naked women across the walls, a radio, blue sheets that were scrunching up to the side and left a silhouette of his body. it smelled exactly like him. cheap cologne, peppermint and smoke. you smelt it even more when he grabbed your hips and pressed his lips against your already bruising neck. he groaned softly into your neck, taking a big huff of your scent as he lifted up his foot to shut the door behind him. you were trapped now.
“nice room,” you snarked as sarcastically as you could be, breathlessly as you tangled a hand in his hair. you were still trying to hang onto that thread of control you had.
“watch the attitude." he grumbled roughly, pulling off of you to glare down at you. he cupped your chin in his hand, a glass teacup in his rough palm as he maneuvered you to be pinned to his door. “you gonna keep mouthing off to me?”
you hummed a no. in an instant, billy snapped that little thread you had in two.
what was the use in fighting it anymore? you wanted him. bad. the core between your thighs was aching, and your stomach felt tight. you were sweating, and you couldn't tell how much of it was from you, and how much of it was from billy's hot body pressed against you. he seemingly rewarded this endeavor of surrender, lifting up his leg to slot between your thighs with a strength that probably would've sent you flying into the ceiling if he wasn't gripping everywhere he could. you let out a whine, the double layer of jeans still didn't do much to stop the friction against your aching clit. he had returned to your neck by then, nipping and sucking, painting your neck with little red marks around a bruising spot from earlier. you rut against his thigh as much as you could, letting your jaw hang open and head loll back until it hit the door.
"billy-" you panted. to him, it sounded like you wanted to stop, so he reluctantly pulled back. you were gazing up at him, and you had these big, wide, innocent eyes and it made billy want to squeeze you until you popped.
"kiss me," you pleaded, grabbing at his shirt, "please?"
it made him grin. he had a pretty smile. the corners of his lips unsubtly curled upwards, pushing his cheeks up and creating a line that rainbowed over his way too perfect lips. he wasn't showing you his teeth, maybe he was scared that it would chase you off, but you didn't have enough time to question that fact before he was obliging to your request. he attacked your lips fervently, sliding his hand to grab your cheek, the pad of his thumb digging into the front end of your cheekbone. your hands were fisted in the bottom of his shirt, the bunching of which revealed the bottom of the toned golden skin of his abdomen. you let your hand snake from his abdomen to his oblique, just below his hip.
you felt the muscles tense up, his thigh lodge itself further in between the crevice of your legs. the kiss was anything but gentle. spit was swapped to the point of a thin stream of saliva dribbled down your chin. his teeth caught your bottom lip between them at one point, making a show of pulling it back until your lip retreated with a hard sting.
"you look.. so fuckin' sexy right now," he whispered. he kissed the corners of your lips before he took a step back, leaving you alone and leaning against the door, shaking and ready to electrocute anything from the amount of static swimming through your veins. he walked backwards until his knees hit his bed, plaid blue bedsheets stopping the back of his knees until he was sat down on top of them. his thighs spread, hands hanging over them as he stared at a very confused you in front of him.
you tried to take a step forward, but billy stopped you with a palm out and a ‘ah ah ah.’ your head tilted to the side, like a puppy that doesn’t understand a trick just yet.
“take ‘em off,” billy demanded, his eyebrows raising. “the jeans and that dumb little sweater.”
“i don’t-“
“take it off or i’ll do it for you. you can take off your own clothes like a big girl, right?” he mockingly asked, mirroring your head tilt.
you sucked in a hard breath, but your lungs couldn’t seem to be filled with enough air. you had to save it, as your shaky hands pushed yourself from the door to a standing position and then shadowed over your jean’s button. you kicked off your shoes and socked with your toes, kicking them to the side carelessly. you sucked your bottom lip, already bitten, between your teeth as you unbuttoned your jeans and shoved them down your hips. you shimmied your way out of them, embarrassingly losing your balance as you stepped out of them and tumbling around before you gained it again. but billy didn’t laugh at you like you expected him to, he just stared like he was watching a pretty bird through a piece of glass. shaky hands clutched the bottom of your sweater, tugging it off cautiously, as if a wrong move would set off some alarm. eventually you threw it to the side, leaving your arms free to cross over your chest. you saw his breath pick up, his chest heaving under the thin fabric of his polo. you stayed like this for a while, you shifting your weight awkwardly and billy staring at you, practically salivating.
“are you just gonna stare at me?” you grilled, pouting out your lips as you glared at him. your little pout dissipated, however, when billy shot you a warning scowl. it was a mean look, and it made you feel like you were getting smacked on the wrist for something.
“.. sorry.”
“you are such a brat, you know that?” billy griped, reaching out as far as he could to hook a hand on the underside of your knee, and another on your waist. he tugged you to him in a swift movement, settling you down to straddle his lap. you squealed at the abrupt force, grabbing onto his shoulders to find a balance. “you’d be so much hotter if you would just shut up.”
his palm inched away from your knee and to your backside, hovering over the exposed skin. “but you just needed some attention, huh? needed someone to take care of you.”
his words were heavy, deep and dark and made you feel so weak, so minuscule compared to him. you tried to tense your thighs together, but billy’s own legs stopped you from doing so, leaving you spread and open on top of him. he certainly l abused this power. the hand on your backside smoothed over your skin, trailing across your hips, finding itself between your legs. the fabric of your underwear were soaked, basically sticking to his fingers as he rubbed over it. he laughed darkly at the sensation, hearing you gasp out and grip his shoulders tightly.
“fuck, who could have possibly got you this hot and bothered?” he mused, meeting your widened eyes. you didn’t reply, you couldn’t. your words got stuck in your throat and came out as a prolonged mewl. you sank yourself down onto his fingers, and he gladly welcomed you, lodging the pads of his fingers between the valley created in your underwear. his demeanor was switching every five seconds, from charming and a condescending sweet, to just downright mean and degrading. he couldn’t decide if he wanted to make you pay, or take pity and give you everything you wanted from him.
“y-you did, billy,” you crooned, a needy tune that barely rose above a whisper. “never been with someone like you. i like it.”
billy gave you another grin, just the slightest hint of white teeth peeking through to reward you for the praise. he bit down on his tongue slightly before it poked out to wet his bottom lip, licking the remains of your lipgloss from it.
“you’re gonna be nice and use your manners for me, right?” he tested, bending his fingers slightly and angling them to find your clit between your two bodies. he knew he found it when you let out this little cute squeal that sent vibrations straight to his cock, straining against his already overly tight jeans.
“uh-huh, yes- sure,” you gasped, rising your body up to allow him more access. his fingertips dug into your bare waist, the slightest hint of nails visiting your skin. billy just watched you, watched how your face squeezed together when he hit a right spot, how your hips circled his fingers greedily.
“c-can this come off?” you requested, tugging at the hem of his polo. “please?”
there was no way billy was going to refuse you. he acted annoyed, pressing his lips out and rolling his eyes a bit, but he really, really liked it. his hand pulled itself away from you, making you plant yourself against the crotch of his jeans to compensate. he tugged off his shirt in one swift movement, throwing it behind you on the ground by some other dirty laundry he hadn’t picked up yet.
he was basically sculpted by the gods. something out of a porno or some shit. that time you watched rocky horror picture show, the entire movie you found yourself staring at rocky himself in his toned but brainless glory, how the sweat stuck to his skin and made the golden tan glow and accentuated every little crevice and muscle. you never thought you would see something like it in real life, but here billy hargrove was, with you perched on his lap whining, looking like some sort of sex god or whatever. his dirty blonde hair hung out over the large triangular muscle of his trapezius, curled and frizzy from the sweat and moisture. and god, his chest. you could see everything as his chest heaved, pecs the perfect size for your hand to hold onto for support. this was not pretty. this was some sort of sorcery.
you were staring at him for a long time, letting your eyes rake over every inch of skin he had. you found the little happy trail of hair inching to the button of his jeans, framed by your inner thighs and must’ve subconsciously squeezed them together, because billy let out a grunt as soon as you laid your eyes on them.
“can i touch you?” you asked, sliding your palms down his biceps and squeezing his forearm in one, the side of his hand in the other.
no one had ever asked him that before. it made him feel things in his stomach that he hadn’t ever contemplated before. it was weird. you thought he wasn’t replying because of what you didn’t say, so you made sure to add a small, needy,“please.”
“such a sweet thing,” billy mumbled, like it was a secret you weren’t allowed to hear. but you heard, and your cheeks flushed even further, as impossible as it was. but that feeling in his stomach grew and grew, some sort of gross fondness with your blush and pout- and he realized he needed to reestablish himself as the dominant one in this situation. he needed to hear you need him, beg for him.
so he lifted you up by the waist, manhandling you to be laying down on his bed with him sitting back on his knees. your legs were spread laying on top of his thighs, giving him a good and clear view of all of you. you had that deer caught in headlights look, lost and defenseless against him.
“ya act all tough, givin’ me sass. if only you saw how fuckin’ pathetic you look,” he growled. your hair fanned out under your head on his conveniently placed pillow. he decided then that blue was definitely your color, as you laid against his sheets, holding onto his forearms for dear life. he gathered your wrists in one hand, sliding them up your body as he lifted himself onto his knees, pushing himself forward until you were chest-to-chest. your knees were bent on either side of him, feet planted into the blue sheets to ground yourself. your wrists got pinned above your head, staying there when he released them because of the huffy whisper of, ‘leave ‘em there, sweetheart.’
you swallowed thick and hard as he moved down your body, latching his teeth onto the skin just above your breasts. you whined, wanting so badly to move your hands and grab onto his curly hair, but you also wanted so badly to please him. and you didn’t fucking know why, and it was infuriating, but god did you want his hand back on your cunt.
his hands cupped your breasts over your bra as he nipped at your chest, leaving them there just for a second before he was scooting down your body. your breath picked up, belly rising and falling rapidly as he found his way down it, seemingly biting and sucking at every ribcage until he was completely off the bed. his feet hit the floorboards as he pressed a less than gentle kiss just below your bellybutton, looking up at you through his eyelashes. your eyes were screwed shut, face clenched uncomfortably to not fall apart at the seams.
“look at me.” he barked suddenly, a sudden boom that made you flinch and eyes rapidly open. he smiled against your skin, you could feel his teeth dig into your belly, his tongue poke a dot of saliva down.
“please, can i touch you?“ you reiterated, your voice suddenly as whiney as it had ever been. you bucked your hips up, the cotton of your panties gently bump against his hard chest.
“no. hands to yourself.”
you frowned, pouted out your bottom lip and locked your eyes with his, trying to find peace within the oceans in his eyes. but they were darkened, muddy and clouded with a desire to ruin you.
he bit at your hipbone, keeping his eyes glued to yours, before his lips met the waistband of your cotton underwear. his hands replaced his lips on your hipbones with a bruising grip, keeping you pinned in place with not even a thought of movement. his sharp teeth latched onto the elastic, and you let out a pleading mewl, heels digging into his mattress. slowly, extremely slowly, his hands left your hips as his teeth pulled down your underwear from your body. the cotton slid down your thighs with him until it wrapped around your bent knees, where he just grabbed it and threw it away from you as he stood between your legs. and then you were just wearing a bra underneath him, eyes piercing into you with a need to devour you whole. you were sweating by this point, the salty liquid collecting on your collarbones and forehead.
“jesus fucking christ, (y/n),” he laughed. “thought you hated me, huh? gonna soak my sheets.”
you frowned, whimpering, “m’sorry.”
“oh, don’t worry. you’ll make it up to me.”
he clicked his tongue, shook his head with a quite scary smirk before diving it between your thighs, grabbing a mouthful of your inner thigh and sucked, hard. you mewled, nails digging into your palms with a dedication to follow his instructions. he hooked his palms under your thighs to hold you in place and tug him closer to you, impossible to escape as he inched his way closer to the center of your thighs. but he never got close enough; just kissed, licked and but his way up, down and around where you obviously wanted him most. every time he got close you ran your hips up to try and meet him, but then he retreated back all the way up to your knee. it got to where you winced every time his teeth scraped the soft skin from how irritated it was from his teeth. you were whining, whimpering but not saying anything out of fear that he would stop all together. at one point he got real close to the gummy, wet lips, just to where the color starts to shift, and just lingered there, staring up at you and gripping your sides to keep you from moving. he caught the thick skin between his teeth, and that was about your breaking point. you were aching, swollen clit so neglected it hurt sitting out there in the open.
“fuck, please billy-!” you cried out, stomach lifting up off the bed desperately, chasing anything you could get. “need it so bad, please..”
“quit whining.”
he said that, but that was exactly what he was waiting for. he was planning on taking his time with you, testing your limit with him, intoxicating you until he broke into your head. he was enjoying your dependency. the past week you had been leaving him high and dry by doing nothing. other girls had been wearing shorter skirts, wearing more makeup than they ever had, just to get his attention- and that was all fine and dandy. but you had been wearing the same high waisted, loose jeans and a sweater or a t-shirt that left everything to imagination. and for some reason, just seeing you had dirty thoughts that would make a priest saint running in his head. and he didn’t know why. he just knew it made him fucking furious. he had already hooked up with half of a whole lunch table, and every time, he thought of you. thought of the pretty noises you would make just for him, begging for his touch after neglecting him of yours. but he had to keep acting like you were just another body to him. a very, very good looking body that wouldn’t be able to leave his head, sure, but just a body to use anyways. but when you said that word please, looking like you were about to cry and asked for absolutely anything, he could have sworn he came in his jeans right there.
“please, please, i’ll be good! just want you to touch me.”
he huffed out a snicker. going to be the death of him.
billy decided to spare you. he moved his opposite palm, stuck out his thumb and lightly, ever so lightly, set the firm pad of his thumb on the top of your clit. but you got ahead of yourself, got too excited with the progress of stimulation and rut your core up to rub the slick little bundle of nerves against his thumb more.
“hey,” he snapped, not hesitating to retract his hand all together. “you are gonna take what i give you, when i give you it. stop being fuckin’ greedy.”
“m’sorry, m’sorry!” you pleaded, planting your hips back down and squeezing your eyes shut. “just felt good-“
“thought you were gonna be good, huh?” he mocked, shaking his head as his tongue poked out in his cheek. “couldn’t wait a couple seconds, that fucking pathetic.”
“please, lemme try again- promise, i’ll be good!”
he pointed a finger at you, raising his mean eyebrows warningly. “you move again, i’m not giving you anything.”
“but-“
“s’not my problem, brat,” billy spat. “look at me and watch.”
too scared to be deprived of anything else, you obeyed mindlessly, gulping down a ball of spit that had been collecting in your open mouth as you opened your eyes and met his. you were shaking, thighs tense and unsteady around his face. your abs, arms, every muscle in your body clenched up when billy’s thumb returned against the hardened bud, his other fingers joining it to dig into one lip to spread you open. his knuckle rested in your slick slit, the smooth membrane welcoming him with a nasty, wet sound. you twitched, praying that everything moved except where billy was now rubbing slow circles. he didn’t seem to care about that. you hissed, letting out a loud “ah!” every movement he made felt like a full on sex toy you saw in a magazine every once in a while. it was overwhelming. the simple, slow rhythm consumed you, your jaw hanging open slightly.
“hng- s’good,” you panted. “more, please? please.”
billy rolled his eyes, scoffed at you a bit, but obliged, picking up the pace to a steady jog. his pointer finger began wandering down, sliding in the slickness of your cunt until he found the ring of muscle begging for something to lodge itself in it.
“fuck,” he groaned. he could smell your sweet arousal, how bad you needed him. his eyes snapped up to yours.
you got the memo, nodded eagerly. slowly, curiously, the tip of his pointer finger slid inside you, just enough to worm around and explore. you panted erratically, walls sucking his finger in. he wandered in further, steadily and slowly sliding his finger in you until your entrance halted at his knuckle.
“ah! f-fuck, thank you-“
his eyes left yours, instead raking down your body to find your hole. he swallowed down his breath. you were dripping onto his hand, swollen lips smacking and emitting wet sounds every time he moved his finger around.
“fuck, (y/n),” he groaned breathily, beginning to pump his finger in and out in a small pattern, matching his thumb to the pace. billy had never heard such sweet sounds from such a vulgar practice, in all the times he had fingered a girl at the very spot you were in. whines and gasps and little mewls that threatened to turn into moans.
however, he must have decided that you just weren’t wet enough still.
before you even realized it, his lips had wrapped around your clit, sucking and raking his tongue around and around. his pointer remained at its same pace, but was quickly joined with his middle finger, scissoring and stretching the tight ring. you let out a pathetic moan, the sound he had been anticipating. and you just couldn’t help it, it was all too much, and your own hands shot from above your head to tangling in his hair.
billy grunted into your slit, licking a stripe up from where his fingers spread you apart until he lifted his head up to look at you. very angrily. the creases on his forehead deepened, jaw clenched.
“didn’t i fuckin’ tell you to keep your hands to yourself?” he growled, halting his fingers plunged into you.
you pouted, a full on pout with big doe eyes and a pushed up chin, your eyebrows meeting high up on your face. you nodded slowly, trying to quickly choose your words wisely.
“h-hold them, please?” you strangled out, releasing his hair from your fist and laying them over your stomach. his jaw set as he shook his head with a cocky, sharp simper.
yet, he still wrangled up your wrists in his grip, keeping them pinned at your belly as he dove back into you. the action didn’t seem to phase him all that much. and it didn’t. he was flattered that you needed to hold onto him, but he had to keep the act up. it was getting hard, too. you were fucking adorable with that needy pout, saying please with every sentence. he was also getting very hard. like, painful hard. he was straining against his jeans, thick, hot blood causing a horrible tension.
but you didn’t have any affect over him, obviously.
his tongue continued with its attack, lapping between your folds ferociously, spit and your juices sloppily dripping down his chin and wetting the ghost of hair above his upper lip. his fingers sped up, erratic and merciless. he was chasing something. your eyes, as hard as you tried to keep them open, rolled to the back of your head as they followed the stars and sparks flying around your head. painted pink nails dug into the back of billy’s hand. your moans got louder and louder, frenzied. you almost sounded pained, but it was the complete opposite. it felt so good to be full, you felt full enough that there was a weight in your lower belly, like an endless black hole that kept sucking your senses in.
billy felt your walls tighten around his fingers, making him work harder to keep the pace he wanted. every little sound you made pushed more blood to his hungry cock- he would definitely have to take his underwear off without you seeing the wet patch staining his white briefs. a smile tugged at his lips as they sucked at your clit ruthlessly. you were tensing up so much billy thought you would have exploded. his grip on your wrists loosened up just a tad, enough to wiggle his hand around to grab at one of your palms so you could squeeze it as much as you needed.
but you didn’t have any affect on him.
“billy- billy, m’gonna cum-“ you cried, those words becoming a chant as the weight sank further into your gut. there was a fluttering feeling throughout your body, shockwaves gripping at every nerve and muscle. your mouth hung open wide, your breath getting faster and faster until-
it all disappeared. your vision went white for a while, stars disappearing from your sky as the coil in your stomach slowly uncoiled itself in a very unsatisfying resolution. you felt empty, walls contracting around nothing. his fingers were gone, tongue gone from your slit.
when your vision and partial sanity returned, you came to billy, standing between your legs, sucking off his pointer and middle finger. you were heaving, breathing staggered and noisy like there was a giant cotton ball in your chest. slowly, he removed his fingers from his lips, the same perfect lips that had just been pleasuring you like it was the last thing on earth he would do. his thumb, that same fucking thumb that teased you, wiped your juices off his upper lip and onto a flat tongue.
you felt like you wanted to cry.
“oh, what happened?” billy taunted, hands reaching for his belt and undoing it, making a long show of sliding it out of his jean loops. “did you wanna cum?”
“yes! yes, i did!” you sobbed out, tugging your hands out of his grip grumpily.
“poor baby,” he graveled cruelly, grabbing one of your hands to place a wet kiss on the back of it just to rub it in that your wet arousal was just sucked into his mouth. you sat yourself up, arms crossing loosely over your stomach as you sulked. “you must just hate me.”
you glowered at him, looking to billy like he just took a toy away from a puppy. but your ears perked up when you saw him unbutton his jeans, shove them down his heavy thighs. unsurprisingly, there was a thick, long tent begging to escape from the white fabric doing him no justice. and just as he didn’t want you to see, his pre-cum had left a small splotch of darkened, damp white just where his thick tip was.
your eyes were the size of the moon at it. you stared, rudely abusing the privilege he was giving you. you gulped.
“i wanna- can- can i-“ you stammered, scooting your way closer to the edge of the bed.
“can you what? speak up.”
“can i touch.. it? you?”
he scoffed, laughed maliciously.
“go for it.”
you bit your bottom lip rather roughly. you cautiously reached out, hooking your fingers in the waistband of his tighty whities to pull them down eagerly. his cock sprung out excitedly, stealing your oxygen away in the process. he was big. like, really big and it really wasn’t fair. thicker than it was long, slightly curved up, his big tip tapping his toned stomach. there was already white heading at the small slit in the oversized head, contrasting the angry red that covered his girth. you could see the veins popping out as they ran up his cock, and in that moment, you wanted nothing more than to run your tongue up each and every inch. but you yourself were way too desperate. you watched as he reached over to his nightstand, grabbing one of those aluminum squares. he was quick to open it, pull the condom out and stretch it snugly over his cock.
“you scared? think it’s not gonna fit?” he purred, reaching out to card his fingers through your hair to angle your flushed face up to him. you shook your head, offering him a tiny, excited grin. you wrapped a hand around the thick base, immediately coaxing a prolonged groan from his pretty lips. his head tilted back, which encouraged you to slide your hand up and down at a very slow pace- testing your waters. he cursed loudly, grunting your name as he tugged at your scalp lightly.
“you want it, don’t you?”
you nodded rapidly.
“say it.”
you pursed your lips, keeping your pride down in your stomach.
“i want it, billy.”
“ohhh, come on, you can do better than that,” he sarcastically encouraged, tightening a fist in your hair as your own fist stroked his cock at a steady pace. you frowned, shoulders dropping. your face clenched up for a second, releasing all of that stupid old dignity stuff.
“please, billy- i want you to.. fuck me. please,” you whimpered up at him. “need you so bad. you’re so big, need it in me-“
how could he say no to that?
“atta girl,” he grinned. in a swift movement, you returned back to your original position. you laying down on his bed, legs spread and bridged over his thighs, but this time, his thirsty cock pressed in between your folds. billy’s fist pumped himself a couple times, spitting out curses and growls. his cheeks pressed up against his eyes and made them squint up. you felt the smooth head press up against your entrance, slicking itself up in your juices.
“please, please, please,” you chanted quietly, clutching his sheets in your hands and scooting yourself closer to his cock. billy held his breath as he pressed into you, thickness splitting you open with the slightest taste of pain. your mouth went slack, stuck in a soundless moan as you gently writhed, walls swallowing every inch he slowly gave you.
“give it to me, sweet girl, give it to me,” he breathlessly huffed, stuffing you full at a painful speed.
“take it, take it- it’s yours,” you moaned, back arching up. your pelvises finally met eachother when the curly collection of hair surrounding his cock hit your skin. you felt so full, so warm. you both moaned in unison, yours far more whiney than his. he muttered something about taking him so well, being so good, simultaneously rolling his hips expertly to plunge his cock into you.
you cried out at the intrusion, how you stretched tight around him. he didn’t give you any time to adjust, immediately beginning to thrust into your needy cunt at a pace that aimed to please him most. your moans nearly turned into yelps and shouts, babbling curses mixed with his cursed name.
“f-fuck, fuck,” billy stammered, his words coming out as a sick laugh as he watched you suck his cock into your sweet core every time he pulled out to slam back in. it wasn’t a quick pace, just deep and rough and enough to make you reconsider the existence of god. he grabbed at your sides to push you down onto his cock counter to his jackhammers into you. his tongue stuck out and rested against his bottom lip in concentration. you weren’t talking, both in your own worlds with swearing god to hell and moaning the others name. the rest of the space was filled with his heavy balls slapping against you every time his hips struck down into you and the ugly squelching your cunt sounded around him.
“god- billy!” you yelped. “so, so good- feels so good-!”
he sped up with every minute, eventually rising to a bruising pace that would imprint the art of his thick cock onto the walls of your pussy. he was grunting, spit flying from his lips. the veins in his forearms were pulsing as they flexed when he worked you into a rhythm, using your body to stroke his cock over and over again. that coil was there again in your belly, warm and uncomfortable and pressuring you to relieve it.
he slowed down for a minute, just so he could bend over and lay his forehead on your collarbone, lifting up your hips just so he could reach the deepest possible angle he could. he hit the rough, folded patch in your cunt with every stroke and sent a spark straight to the hot fire building up. the sounds you were making were on par to sobbing, now right in billy’s ears. he looked like he was just taking a rest for a second, but you knew that he was staring down between your thighs, watching his cock ruin your hole in ways it had never been ruined before. and you both knew that it wouldn’t be ruined like this by anyone else. his hips rolled into yours, bruising your pelvic bone and you couldn’t help but push against him.
“fuck, just made for me,” billy purred against your collarbone, too distracted by the view to reprimand you for grabbing onto his back, his shoulders, anywhere you could reach with your nails. he was fine with some battle marks, anyways. your moans and whines never ceased, but his quieted down to heavy breaths that fanned over your skin and left goosebumps anywhere it could reach.
“wanna cum, wanna cum so bad. all for you,” you beckoned, a hand tangling in his hair freely. you got away with it, too, he just let you tug at his hair. one particularly hard tug left him moaning himself under his breath; you took a note of that.
billy sucked in an especially hard breath before returning to his brutal pace, thighs slapping against yours and the disgusting sounds returning to his warm room. the thread was getting tighter and tighter, and it was so, so ready to snap. he knew it, he could tell how your pussy fluttered around him and your thighs clenched around his hips. he just sped up, finding a pace that erupted the most sounds from you and then stuck to it. you writhed and jerked below him, clawing at his shoulder and tugging at his curls. sweat was everywhere, in your palms, glistening on his back and streaming down his forehead. the inner fat of your thighs were soaked by now, slippery as his skin slapped against them. your back lifted so far up it hurt, you knew you would be sore.
“gonna make me- fuck, gonna make me cum, (y/n).” he found your shoulder, bit down roughly. he wasn’t lying.
“please, please, need it-“
he lifted you up ever so slightly just to ram himself into your g-spot repeatedly, making you feel like a hundred pounds of feathers were fallen onto your gut. he kept thrusting and thrusting, hard and at the perfect pace. every time his balls smacked against your ass it just added to the weight in your belly, until it just became too much and you couldn’t control it. with a couple more thrusts, you were clenching around him, so tight billy could have sworn you grew some erotic superpower. you went quiet, before the loudest, most delicious moan spewed from your lips. your entire body shook, vibrated, as you continued to cry out. it was long and hard and hit you like billy’s camaro crashed into you at 100 miles per hour. but it was good. so, so good. addictive. you just dissolved into the pleasure, melted into his wetted sheets. it came in unkind waves, each one sending you into a new planet with your eyes rolled back far into your brain. and still, all you saw was billy. he captured a moan in his own mouth as he pressed his lips against yours in a lazy, careless kiss that could barely classify as that. it was just gross and messy, exchanging spit and swears and moans.
your clenching cunt coaxed billy’s own orgasm, a huffy and vicious moan coming out from his lips straight into your ear and made you feel like you came again. he thrusted into you as roughly as he could for a chain of pumps, until he stopped at the deepest point he could, fingers digging into your waist. he filled the condom to the brim, you could feel it weighing in you and it coaxed a sob from you.
“fuck! shit, (y/n)!” he exclaimed deeply, heaving and panting as he started up again, slowly and gently as he rode out his own orgasm. you went limp underneath him, holding onto him with your zero remaining strength. he slowed down to another stop, taking his sweet time pulling out of you, leaving you gaping and ruined.
you both were slowly returning to earth, panting and heaving harshly. your hands slid away from him, legs falling into the mattress as you molded into the mattress. he slid himself off of you, collapsing right next to you on the mattress with a dreamy look on his face.
but soon, both of your faces fell, as you returned back to earth and the oxygen got back to your brains. a dreadful, horrible thought and realization possessed both of you and forced both of your breathing to cease to exist.
what were you getting yourselves into?

Tomura Shigaraki
It was really all he could do to stare at you.
You’d moved from the theatre to an abandonment hospital, mostly to find any leftover supplies to help with your arm, or rather, lack thereof.
You’d only sort of expected this. Tomura lashing out at you, you getting hurt, you just didn’t expect it to result in you loosing a fucking arm.
Toga was helping to change your bandages, and Magne was speaking quietly with Twice, Spinner, and Compress.
Dabi was speaking with Shigaraki outside the room, and you couldn’t hear what they were saying. You were glad, you didn’t exactly want to hear his voice right now.
You didn’t think you were being that annoying, you thought you were just helping him. And you usually did. When he’d have his little tantrums, he’d get upset at you sure, but he’d never hurt you.
You knew you didn’t do anything differently than usual, maybe he was just more stressed than ordinary? Maybe you should’ve recognized that and altered yourself to fit accordingly.
Or maybe he’d just been horrible, and attacked you for no reason, and you had just been trying to help him.
You knew it was more likely the latter, but you couldn’t help but blame yourself. People don’t just try to kill their partners that they love so much
The door slid open, and Dabi stepped in. He glanced around the room, waving his hand to usher Magne, Spinner, Twice, and Compress out of the room. Today stood up, but you grabbed her hand.
Dabi pushed the door open a little wider, and your boyfriend stepped inside. For once, you were glad he had that horrible hand in his face, you knew that if he took it off you’d probably vomit.
“Call us in if you need anything.” Dabi offered uncharacteristically, sliding the door shut behind him.
Everything was quiet.
Not even the people in the hallway wanted to say anything.
He slowly walked towards you, pulling up a chair and sitting down.
You sat cross-legged on the creaky hospital bed, staring at him as Toga held your hand.
“Why are you here?” You asked quietly.
“I- I um. Why is she here?” Tomura ignored your question, pointing to Toga next to you.
“She’s here because she chopped off my arm after you dusted it. She’s here because she saved my life. Why are you here, Tomura?”
One of his hands lifted to his neck, scratching lightly.
“Shit- I didn’t want anyone else in here-“
“Why not? Don’t want anyone to see you loose yourself and hurt me more? Don’t want anyone here to save me?” You snapped.
“You- you know I didn’t mean it-“
“It doesn’t matter if you meant it or not, Shigaraki.” He flinched away when you spat out his last name like that. “I still got hurt. I lost a fucking arm because of you. How horrible are you that you have to cover up your own insecurities by trying to kill me? No really, I could have died.”
“I’m sorry!” He exclaimed, nails digging deeper into his neck. “I love you, okay? And I promised I’d protect you so-“
“So you broke your promise in the worst way possible.” You swung your legs over the side of the bed, squeezing Toga’s hand before letting go. You walked up to Shigaraki, lifting your hand and gripping his shoulder tightly.
“I’m going.” You whispered. “I can’t be around you. I still have family outside the League, friends that aren’t villains. I can build myself a semi-normal life. I’ll be happy without you.” You turned back to Toga, offering her a smile. “You can come over whenever you want, you’re my friend.” You headed towards the door.
You paused when you heard a soft noise, like a gargled scream. You turned around, seeing Shigaraki shaking.
“No, no please no- don’t go!” He spun around, grabbing your shoulders. You shoved him off you in an instant, curling into yourself
“GET OFF ME!” You screamed. But he was already launching himself at you again, you saw his palm flying towards your face. This time, it wasn’t an accident.
And you knew you wouldn’t make it out this time.
You were pulled back by a strong force, realizing Magne was holding you tight. Compress and Dabi were on either side of Shigaraki, holding him back, while Twice had ran to Toga.
“No! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! Please don’t leave me!” He screamed, the hand fell loose on his face, tumbling down to the floor. You turned away, not wanting to see him.
You could only imagine his expression.
“Goodbye, Shigaraki.” You whispered, ducking out of Magne’s grip and rubbing off.
“Goodbye.”
Touya Todoroki/ Dabi
It had been a week since he’d seen you, a week since he’d felt your hands on his. A week since he’d heard your voice. A week since he’d seen your smile.
A week since he’d burned you.
Called you inferior.
Threatened to kill you.
Well there was certainly a reason why he hadn’t gone to see you since the incident.
But...
He missed you.
He felt so guilty, knowing what he’d said and done to you, and he needed to see you.
Maybe he was just being selfish.
Maybe he knew he’d done something wrong.
Maybe he needed to call you.
He flipped his phone upside down, then right side up again on the counter of the bar.
Toga sat on a stool next to him, tapping her hands against the marble in boredom.
“So... what’s up with you?” She asked, cocking her head and glancing at him.
“Like I’m telling a brat like you.” He growled, flipping his phone over again.
“You’ve been off all week!” She exclaimed, leaning towards him. “Somethings happened to you.”
“If i tells you a little, will you shut up?”
“Mhm mhm!”
“Ughhhhh fine. I had a fight with someone close to me. I... I really hurt them. I know it. I haven’t spoken to them in a week.”
“So... Dabi has a soft spot?”
“That’s not the point of this. Also say that again and I’ll kill you.”
“Oookay then. You should just call them. Say something to them and apologize.” She offered with a shrug.
Dabi sighed, pressing his face into his hands.
“They don’t want to talk to me. Trust me on that.”
“Welp- that’s just my advice. Cent for my thoughts kind of thing except you didn’t pay me. You owe me a penny.”
Toga shrugged, hopping off the chair and leaving the room.
“Don’t owe you shit.” Dabi grumbled, glowering down at his phone again. He pulled up your contact, staring at the picture he’d set for you.
You had a bright smile, emoji hearts decorating your cheeks. It was from your first ‘date.’ When you’d hung out at your place after he broke in looking for shelter and food.
You’d taken care of him, let his spend the night, and even offered to let him stay whenever he needed to.
You were an Angel on earth.
And he’d burnt you.
Called you dirty.
And selfish.
You were anything but.
Ring
Ring
Ring
“Why the hell are you calling me?”
“I-“
“Dabi. Why are you calling me? You hate me, don’t you?”
“I don’t hate you...”
“Jeez, coulda fooled me.”
“Baby...”
“Don’t call me that.”
“I- I didn’t mean it.” He choked out. “Everything I said, I didn’t mean it. And I-“
“I really don’t care. The doctors said my arms would scar. I’m burnt and scarred like you. Are you happy? Is that what you wanted to achieve? Make me like you so that no one would want me? So that only you could have me?”
Yes
“No! I never wanted to hurt you, ba- Y/n please,”
“Please what? Please what, Dabi? What do you want from me? Huh? You want me to cradle you and say is all going to be okay? You want me to kiss your scars and tell you you’re beautiful? You want me to suck your dick and tell you I love you? After everything you’ve put me through?”
“I-“
“It’s not just you burning me. You’ve left me for days without contact, and then showed up like nothing’s happened! You’ve hit me and then groveled and cried for my mercy! You’ve made me do so much shit for you in bed that I never wanted to do! Our entire relationship, I was scared you’d get sick of me and kill me!”
“You really thought that?”
“Well guess what motherfucker? You can’t come after me! I’ve told the police what happened. Everything between us. They’re helping me move across the country. You’ll never see me again. Happy?”
“No. No no I’m not happy why would I be happy? You made me happy, when I didn’t even know what the word meant, you don’t have to go through with this, please don’t go through with this!”
“Don’t flatter me. I never made you happy. Nothing could make you happy except watching the world burn. I don’t make you happy, Dabi-“
“Yes you do!”
“Just shut up. I’m going to hang up. If I’m being honest... I’ll miss you. You made me happy. But with so much anger and fear surrounding you, it’s hard to even remember the last time we were happy together.”
“I’m... I’m sorry.”
“I know.”

You were gone.
Shouto Todoroki
If you thought Shouto was quiet before, you should see him now, wait, you were seeing him now, in class, eyes boring into your spine.
You still had a large bandage on your face, being hit in the face with plus added fire power is bound to leave a mark that lasts for over three days.
Did I mention it had been three days now?
It’s very hard to ignore Shouto, seeing as you were in the same class and lived in the same dorms.
Plus everyone in class wanted to know what happened between the two of you, why Shouto seemed so down, why you had the bandage on your face, and if it was all connected.
You’d only told one person what had gone down between the two of you, and that was Bakugou.
Which maybe was a mistake, because he took to trying to fight Todoroki every time he saw him, and repeatedly told you that he ‘fuckin knew that icy-hot bastard was a good-for-nothing bag of of poorly packaged horse shit.’
You appreciated his comfort, but it hurt you every time he said something about Todoroki.
“I don’t get why you’re defending the scumbag. His hand hasn’t even healed off your face yet!”
You and Bakugou were heading to the dorms after class, and he had gone on his usual tangent about how Todoroki did this, Todoroki did that, Todoroki was an asshole, etc etc.
“I mean... he’s technically still my boyfriend. And he’s been nothing but kind to me up until this point. He just... he was stressed, and I was being a bother. I’m sure the injury will fade at some point, then he’ll talk to me again and we can get back to normal.” you shrugged, rubbing at the back of your neck. “We’ll be fine.”
“You know what you are? A pushover.” Bakugou glared at you.
“Wha- I am not! Where did you get that idea?”
“Oh I don’t know, maybe from the fact that You forget to check in with how you feel and keep thinking only about that Half n Half bastard! ‘Oh, he must be so upset with himself!’ Fuck that! How do you feel?”
You kept your eyes on the ground, speeding up. Bakugou grabbed your sleeve, tugging you backwards. His hands found your shoulders, thumbs rubbing soft circles. Your breath hitched, did Shouto ever do this for you?
Not that you could remember.
“I feel... nervous.” you admitted. “I’m nervous that he meant what he said to me. That I’m nothing but a bother to him. I’m nervous that he’ll never come and talk to me, never apologize. I’m worried that if he does talk to me, he’ll think it was my fault. It wasn’t was it?”
You looked up at Bakugou warily, and squeaked when he tightened his grip on your shoulders.
“The fuck? Of course it’s not! Idiot.” he poked your forehead, and you couldn’t help but giggle a little. “Keep talking.”
“Um... I’m...” you took a deep breath. “I’m angry. I’m angry that he hasn’t talked to me. I’m angry about what he said. I’m angry that he even hit me to begin with. If we were training, of course it’d be different, but we weren’t training. And he hurt me. And now I’m doubting everything between us.”
Bakugou was silent, Cardinal eyes met yours. The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife, and for a moment, you feared Bakugou would try to blow your ass up for being a pathetic little weakling.
I mean... compared to people like Todoroki and Bakugou, you were right?
Bakugou took a step forward, pulling you into his arms. You held your breath, wondering if he was going to finally snap and kill you.
But... it felt nice.
You lifted your arms, wrapping them around his body and tugging him a little closer. You buried your face into his uniform shirt, body shaking a little as you cried.
You almost wanted to scream, but then the school would panic.
So you just cried, sobbing into his arms and letting him hold you. His embrace was war and comforting, nothing like you’d felt from your so-called boyfriend.
Maybe he was right, maybe you really shouldn’t try to think about him.
You did deserve better.
You sniffled, pulling off Bakugou with a soft smile.
“Thanks, Bakugou. I really needed that. And you’re right.”
“What was that second thing?”
“You’re right.”
“Hmmm?” Bakugou cupped a hand around his ear, feigning deafness.
“Oh my goodness- I said you’re right!”
“That’s it.” he patted you on the shoulder, proud smirk traced across his features. You chuckled. “Now you’re going to tell that to Mr. Daddy Issues and get the fuck over him.”
“Alright, but you’re coming with me!” he nodded, keeping his hand on your shoulder as you returned to the dorms, heading to his dorm.
You paused just outside his door, knocking lightly. Bakugou was a few feet behind you, out of the way, but close enough to step in if something were to happen.
The door swung open slowly, revealing a bored-looking Todoroki. WHen his eyes landed on you, he jumped a little, taking a step back. His hand tightened around the doorknob, his other hand gripping his pants
“Y-Y/n-“ he stuttered, eyes flickering between you and Bakugou. “I-“
“We need to talk.”
“Listen I- I’m sorry!” He exclaimed.
“Todoroki, I don’t think you get it. ‘Sorry’ doesn’t cut it. You might have scarred me, so your one mistake might stay with me my whole life!”
“I know.” His head drooped, and his grip on his pants loosened. “I know. I’m- I’m just like him.”
“Him?”
“I promised I was nothing like him but here we fucking are!”
“Shoto what are you talking about?”
“I’m the worst kind of person!”
“No!”
Shouto looked up, eyes brimming with tears. You took a few steps forward, taking his face into your hands.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered “it was an accident, and you didn’t mean it. Please don’t talk about yourself like that.”
Bakugou grabbed you, yanking you away from him
“Uh, what the fuck? You came here to sever ties with him, not fucking comfort him!”
“Look at him, Bakugou. He needs me.”
“Y/n-“
“Trust me.” You smiled at Bakugou, pushing him away from you slowly before turning back to Shouto. You took the boy into your arms, rocking back and forth with him.
You ignored the heavy feeling in your chest, and the screams your brain slew ar you to get off of him, get away from him, and let Bakugou protect you.
You ignored logic, emotion, and all better judgement.
For this boy who’d hit you.
But Bakugou would end up being right, he was smart.
You’ll see.
Katsuki Bakugou/ Dynamight
Shit wrong Pomeranian
That’s better
Katsuki stood outside Recovery Girl’s room, waiting for Kirishima to come out and tell him what was going on.
He was chewing on his nails, foot tapping against the ground as he stared at the door. He could hear people moving around and talking inside.
He couldn’t get the sound of your screaming out of his head, the large dark patch that formed on your skin around your face, the way you just... fell.
The door slid open, and Bakugou stared forward and Kirishima stepped out, smiling and thanking Recovery Girl.
Bakugou was on his feet in an instant, grabbing Kirishima’s arm.
“How are they? Do they hate me? Can I see them?” He rambled, Kirishima gently pushing Bakugou off him.
“Uh, they’re fine for the most part, they haven’t said anything about you at all, and ask Recovery Girl.” He said, backing off down the hall as Bakugou stared helplessly after him.
“You uh- you might want to apologize. They are really upset.” Kirishima told him, quickly running off down the hall. Bakugou faced towards the room, stepping inside.
A cyan curtain blocked him from seeing you, and he heard shuffling behind it. It slid open, Recovery Girl stepping out. She looked up and saw Bakugou.
She wacked his leg with her needle/cane, and he yelped, stumbling backwards.
“You have no shame!” she snapped. “With what you did to them, you should be cowering outside right now!”
“Shhh!” Bakugou pressed up against the wall. “Do you want them to know I’m here?”
“Are you that clueless?” she grumbled, pulling herself up into her chair. “They’ve gone temporarily deaf.” Bakugou froze, glancing back at the curtain.
He’d blown up your eardrums.
He felt Recovery Girl press something into his hands, and he glanced down.
It was a small whiteboard, with a pen and washcloth.
This was how he’d have to talk to you.
On a fucking whiteboard.
RG pulled the curtains aside, revealing you.
You were laying in the bed, half your face wrapped up in bandages, hands resting on your lap.
“Y/n...” he murmured. You remained still, staring out the window. Bakugou cleared his throat, and you still didn’t react.
“They can’t hear you, remember?” RG shook her head, waddling over to the other side of your bed, pointing at Bakugou. He watched your face slowly turn, before his eyes shot away from you, staring at the ground.
He heard you swallow, and you let out a soft whimper.
Were you scared of him?
Bakugou lifted the whiteboard, quickly scribbling some kanji on it
ごめんなさい (Translation: I am sorry)
You reached forward, taking the whiteboard from him and erasing his words, putting your own down instead.
分かってる。(Translation: I know)
Bakugou pursed his lips, fidgeting with his shirt before he watched you put more writing down
どうして?(Translation: Why?)
Bakugou reached out, taking the whiteboard back, quickly putting down his excuse explanation
私は弱いと感じました。 じゃあ霧島を助けてくれたんだ。 うらやましくなってきた (Translation: I felt weak. Then you helped Kirishima. I got Jealous)
お許しください (Translation: Please forgive me.)
He handed you the whiteboard back, tapping his foot against the ground. You passed it back to him, and he hurridly read your response.
私はそれについて考えます (Translation: I’ll think about it.)
He had a chance. His eyes finally lifted off the whiteboard, landing on you.
The visible part of your face looked exactly the same, although there was a large bandage on your ear. Your eye looked sad, fearful, and nervous. You had a shaky smile on your face, trying to make him feel better.
You were always thinking about him.
それは再び起こらないだろう (Translation: It won’t happen again)
You sighed, smile falling.
本気?(Translation: Are you sure?)
Bakugou felt his heart drop into his stomach.
Well of fucking course you didn’t trust him, look what he’d done to you!
おっしゃる通りです。. もうお前を放っておいてやる さようなら、y/n。(Translation: You are right. I will leave you alone now. Goodbye, y/n.)
He stood up, leaving the whiteboard on your bed. He headed towards the door, with his hands stuffed into his pockets. He ignored the soft cry of your voice, surprised he was leaving.
He ignored the way you managed to choke out his name in a warbly, unsure voice.
He slid the door shut behind him, slumping against it and sliding down until he sat on the cold ground. He buried his face into his arms, finally allowing himself to cry.
He wasn’t going to try and talk to you, he resolved. He wasn’t going to bother you or scare you.
He’d keep you safe by refusing to talk to him.
He’d let the author end the fanfiction right then and there.
The door slid open behind him, and he flopped backwards, staring up at your face. You were holding the whiteboard.
オマンコにならないでください。 事故だったのは分かってる 頑張って俺を捕まえるのか諦めるのか? どんなヒーローがあきらめるだろうか?
(Translation: Don't be a pussy. I know it was an accident. Are you going to work hard and get me or give up? What kind of hero would just give up?)
A smirk slowly spread across his face. Yeah, he’d work hard. He’d never scare you or hurt you again. He’d do better.
He’d be the best boyfriend.
And he’d accept your help to stand up next to you.

After fic note: ohmygod I’m finally finished. This took fucking forever. You loved part one so much, I had to make sure part two was perfect.
Some of these ended in heartbreak
Another ended in a questionable descision
The last ended happily
All of them are different!
I hope you get my references, and appreciate the Japanese Kanji I put in Bakugou’s part (if any of it is inaccurate, please let me know so I can try my best to fix it. I don’t speak or write Japanese, I used this translator to get what I needed).
I worked hard on this, so if y’all could tell me what you like and dislike about this so I can improve my writing, that would be lovely. Don’t be afraid to pop a comment or pop into my ask box, I do my best to respond to every comment and ask, so don’t worry about being ignored.
I love all of you, and I’m so glad to be able to write for you.
Thanks for all of your support, I promise I’ll work hard on all of my drafts to make sure you get entertainment constantly!

Asahi x gn! reader || Sfw Genre: Comedy and fluff at the end Word Count: 1.5k+
The entire Karasuno team is looking at Asahi in stunned silence. They all heard him say he loves you.
However (fortunately or unfortunately for him), you did not really hear what he said. The entire club’s eyes are glued to the club room’s open windows as they watch you sprint away, eager to make it in time for your movie.
Asahi’s eyes are open wide and he keeps opening and closing his mouth but no words are coming out, he is simply gaping like a fish and making incomprehensible noises. His face is so red and hot that one could make their entire breakfast on it.
Asahi: I-I-I d-didn’t m-mean t-t-to s- NOYA?! TANAKA?! WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!?!
Noya: *in between sobs* Asahi-san, you have grown up so fast!
Tanaka: *loud noises that seem to indicate agreement with Noya* *violent sobbing*
Suga intervened: Oi, you two, stop it! Your cries might catch Y/N’s attention.
Meanwhile, Hinata has run over and climbed on to the club room’s window and is now shouting live updates of your whereabouts.
“Uwaaaah Asahi-san, I do not think Y/N-san heard you. I can see them running towards the gates.”
Kageyama kicks Hinata, “BOKE, don’t shout their name from the open window, they might hear you, you BOKE!”
“BAKA, Kageyama, you don’t have to kick me, I am only trying to help!”
At this point, Tanaka and Noya are rolling on the floor and crying violently, Kageyama and Hinata are trying to kill each other while Suga and Daichi try to separate them. Asahi is staring at the floor, wishing for a hole to open up and swallow him. The rest of the team is just standing around in silence, trying to absorb the mess that has happened in the last 30 seconds.
So, you know, a usual day at the Karasuno Volleyball Club.
This is what is going on in Asahi’s mind right now:
“It’s certainly a relief that Y/N did not hear me. Or did they?!?!? and they just pretended to ignore me so they wouldn’t have to answer?!?!?! After all, it has only been 4 months, I do not expect them to love me so soon. What if this scares them off?? If they really did not hear me, that would have been great if the entire team hadn’t heard me say it. And knowing these people, I am sure Y/N will know about this before tomorrow. WHAT IF THEY HEARD ME AND THEY FREAKED OUT AND RAN OFF AND WILL NEVER COME BACK? -” and on and on it went.
"Uh-Oh”
Suga’s words snap Asahi out of his overthinking trance (good timing, I should say, because at this point he is seriously considering shifting to India and becoming a monk). He looks up to see Suga looking out the window. He pales.
//~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What have you been doing since you ran out?
“Shit, I’m going to be late if I walk there. I will have to run if I want to make it in time. The theatre is not that far, though, so it shouldn’t be a problem.”
These are the thoughts going through your head as you sprint away from the club room. As you are running, your mind wanders back to Asahi (as it usually does). You have a tendency to replay every moment with him in your mind and you are thinking back to the conversation that had just taken place. Asahi had looked so cute when you were handing him his hairband. You couldn’t wait to see him tonight and you had told him that as you had run out of the room. And it seems so had he-
And then it registers.
Wait-
//~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A very loud -WHAT?! resounded through the room. It was your voice. And even though it came from the outside, it felt like the entire room shuddered. The sound sent chills through Asahi’s spine and he started quaking in his shoes.
Suga: Uh Asahi, you have probably already realized this but Y/N seems to be running back in this directio-
The club room’s door slams open with such force that it makes everyone jump. You stand at the doorway, panting loudly, with the most incredulous expression on your face.
Asahi is dead now. I am sorry to say but his soul has left his body and it will not be returning. Let’s all come together to pray for his peaceful departure.
You look at Asahi. His face has drained entirely of its colour and he looks ready to pass out. You can almost see steam coming out of his ears as he stares at you in absolute horror.
“D-did you j-just say you love me?” you manage to gasp out your question as you try to steady your breathing.
Asahi is dead, Y/N, dead people do not speak.
He is shaking as you walk towards him. The expressions on his and teammates’ faces have already answered your question.
Even though Asahi is terrified out of his mind, he is trying to read your expression. How he chooses to answer right now is probably going to make or break your relationship.
In between all the confusion on your face, he sees a hint of something else in your eyes: Hope.
You stop in front of him. You ask him the same question again, but much more calmly this time now that your breathing has somewhat normalized.
As he continues to try to read your expression, he realizes you are not mad at him. Instead, there is a slight earnestness in you. He calms down a bit.
“Y-yes.” he says, barely meeting your eyes.
“Do you really mean it? Or was it just a slip of your tongue?” you ask, hopeful, but also bracing yourself for the worst. What’s worse is that this is all happening in front of PEOPLE and all of their eyes are on you both. This is bound to make Asahi want to nope out of here. But the damage is already done and all you can do right now is wait for him to answer.
“I- I mean it (your heart soars for a second) but- (aaaand there it comes crashing back down).”
Asahi’s eyes are back to looking at the floor now and his fists are clenched.
“but this...this is not how I wanted to tell you. I wanted to make it special for you. But I fucked this up too.”
You did not know what you were expecting him to say but this was certainly not it. Your eyes widen in surprise.
“And I- I understand if you do not feel the same way. Or if you want to b-break up with m-me.”
His voice cracks at the last sentence and even though he’s looking down, it’s not hard to figure out that he is holding back tears.
“Special for me?” you say as you close the distance between you and him. You use your hands to cup his face and tilt his head up so that he is looking at you. His eyes are full of tears that threaten to fall at any second.
“The only thing I need for it to be special for me is YOU. I do not care about where you said it, or how you said it. I just care that you said it. That’s the most special thing you could have done for me. You are the only thing I want and need. Everything else is just secondary.”
You wipe away a tear that has fallen from his eyes.
“However, to make things even: I, L/N Y/N, standing here at Karasuno High School, in the Volleyball Club Room, surrounded by the weirdest audience ever, (why are Tanaka and Noya hugging and crying?? Why does Hinata seem to be in the middle of pantsing Kageyama??), would like to tell you, Azumane Asahi, that I love you too.” You kiss Asahi on his forehead, rubbing comforting circles on his back and give him a big smile. “Was that special enough for you?”
“Yes!” he exclaims, as he throws his arms around you and pulls you in for a short but passionate kiss (something he has never done in public before). His tears are now freely falling but he smiles the biggest smile at you and everything he wants to say to you, all the love and gratitude he has for you, you can see in his eyes. “I love you” he whispers as he loosens his hold on you.
“I love you too. Can’t wait to see you tonight.”
You are horribly late for your movie but you don’t care anymore. However, you do know it is important for your boyfriend (WHO LOVES YOU BACK!!) to focus on volleyball. So, you use the movie to excuse yourself and you finally walk out of the room, with the biggest smile on your face. You cannot help but laugh as his teammates almost blow the roof off the place with all their yelling and cheering for him as soon as you leave.
Suffice it to say that even though you did “see” the movie, you still have no idea what it was about.
FIN
HOPE YOU ENJOYED

Can I please get some Hotch and Garcia fluff for 6 - You’re a terrible liar?
I know I said 1k but this is 1.3k and honestly who's counting?
Thanks for requesting this! They're an underrated duo and their dynamic is one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy :)
Aaron watched the dark blur shift and fluctuate on his phone and knew without checking that the storm wasn’t going to clear up before tomorrow. If anything it had lost momentum but gained ferocity where it hung resolute over the Midwest – usually they were glad to miss weather like that, especially if it meant they got to have warmth and sunshine while they did it. Nobody was winning this time around—not with the snow they were saddled with out here.
He sighed.
He’d promised Jack, who was more excited for his birthday than he was, he’d be home; they might not touch down in Quantico until Monday with the way things were going. And with the roads in even worse condition, driving was slower than waiting; their best option was waiting even if they hadn’t been told explicitly that they’d be taking the jet home.
If he was home by Sunday, he’d be lucky.
When he put his phone away and ventured into the hall to see if JJ was awake, borrow her laptop and wrangle Skype into letting him call over the subpar internet connection, he found her room empty. Unusual for her but not massively so.
What was unusual was that the entire team were gone, minus Garcia, who was stood in the lobby in her coat and suspiciously unsurprised to see him.
“Where is everyone?” Aaron asked.
“Derek and Reid took the car because he wanted to find something to do around here,” Garcia said, her voice pitching higher as she talked. She was looking everywhere but his eyes. “We saw a movie theatre just off Main Street and that looked… not horrible. Oh, and to get gas in case we’re driving. JJ and Em went with them and I have no idea what Rossi’s up to.”
She was lying.
She was lying because they wouldn’t have just left Garcia at the hotel unless she wanted to stay here and neither had Morgan or Dave – even Reid – swung by to see if he wanted to come with them, which they were insistent upon doing despite knowing he’d give them a firm no. Aaron could believe that they hadn’t this time but Garcia staying here – no. She had a reason and that reason was, apparently, to distract him while the others were plotting something.
Not today. Not when he was stuck disappointing his son, with only his voice over the phone to lessen the sting of not being there.
“Garcia,” he said, “you’re a terrible liar.”
Her face fell. Her hands dropped to her sides momentarily before she put on an incredulous face. “Sir, when have I ever lied to you? I resent that accusation.”
“Last week,” Aaron said. “The ‘thing’?”
She clasped her hands together. “Point taken, but I’m not lying! Why would I be lying?”
“It isn’t a bad quality to have,” he said.
“I know,” she said, “I just… do you all have to profile so much? How do you tell?”
Aaron dug his hands into his pockets, his fingers aching with the cold, and gave her half the truth. “I filled the tank yesterday. That’s how.”
Garcia pressed on valiantly. “He went to get chains as well.”
“They’re in the trunk and Morgan knows it.”
“That’s not me being a bad liar,” she said. “Just so you know, nobody told me that. But can we pretend you don’t know they’re not doing what I said they were?”
“As long as they aren’t going to cause a scene,” Aaron said.
“There will be no scenes,” Garcia promised. “Everything sort of depended on you not guessing it so…”
“Guessing what?” Aaron said. He checked his watch. “What are you supposed to be distracting me with?”
“You know, it ruins the illusion a little when you say things like that,” she said. “And whatever I could get my hands on because there really, really isn’t much to do.”
Though it was snowing, it was far lighter than yesterday; if it wasn’t for the snow already on the ground he doubted it would settle. Garcia was wrapped in a scarf and several colourful layers.
He glanced around and supposed there were worse places to be stranded. “We could take a walk if there’s nothing else.”
“That, mon ami,” she said, “sounds like a brilliant idea.”
---
He should have figured it out sooner.
That was her distraction, and it had worked: they had walked in a loop nearly back to the hotel when he noticed the SUV parked outside one of the small local restaurants. And he was in too far to back out of it now.
Aaron held the door for Garcia and followed her in.
The warmth was a pleasant change. It was emptier than he imagined, which was a relief—just a handful of regulars engaged in quiet conversations and the rest of the team crammed around their biggest table at the back.
“Ah, you made it!” Dave said.
“We were starting to think we’d lost you,” Prentiss said.
“Thank you for your faith in me,” Garcia said, “truly, it’s touching.”
Aaron sat, and waited for the inevitable embarrassment when the waiter came to take their order. Across the table Garcia beamed at him and he began to relax when there was no mention of birthdays or celebrations. A meal the same as the hundreds of others they must’ve had, only by circumstance instead of choice, and aside from their absolute refusal to let him pay his share of the bill, it was normal.
Until the cake.
He felt flushed with embarrassment as the staff brought it out but the warmth in his chest outshone it, and he was smiling despite himself. But unlike he’d expected, there really was no fuss: it was placed on the table, the staff left and the team raised a glass. His relief faded into a deep gratitude.
“You didn’t have to,” Aaron said. Arranging that had to have been a less than ideal way to spend the day – and on such short notice – but here they were.
“We asked them not to make it a big deal,” Garcia said, fiddling with her bracelet. “We knew you wouldn’t want that.”
Morgan passed him the knife and eased the cake board towards him. “What do you mean we didn’t have to? ‘Course we did, and we didn’t get this just to look at.”
“You like chocolate, right?” Prentiss added just as he cut through the middle.
“Yes?” Aaron said. It wouldn’t have mattered, not when they’d gone to the effort, if he hadn’t.
“Okay, good,” she said. “Because it was that, Christmas-themed or discount Halloween.”
The thought of them arguing over store-made cakes was a fond one and he smiled as he cut their slices. Their plates full, Aaron checked his watch and discretely pulled out his phone. Jess had messaged him arranging the call and the timezones were difficult—he didn’t want Jack up past his bedtime.
As he was responding to Jessica, the familiar Skype tone came quietly from the corner and he glanced up. JJ slid the laptop in his direction with a smile. “Happy birthday.”
He knew he looked an idiot in the camera view – his face was starting to ache from the uncontrollable smiling – but he didn’t care. The screen lit up with a blur of hair and a hand half covering their own camera.
“Happy birthday, Daddy!” Jack said.
“Thanks, buddy,” Aaron said. “And Je—”
“You’re welcome,” Jess called from the background.
He looked over the screen, at Reid building… something or other with the napkins, Morgan teasing, threatening to flick the flimsy construction over; Prentiss and Garcia and JJ were crowded together, looking rather proud of themselves. And Dave had stretched out in the gap they left, drink in hand.
“Thank you,” he said softly. Because no matter how much they denied it, they didn’t have to go to the effort to make it a better day than it would have been—but here they were, his team and his family, and all things considered this was not a bad birthday. Not at all.

Waiting Room
Summary: Stiles is badly hurt, with only y/n to save him
Pairing: None in particular but sort of reader X Derek?
Warnings: Mentions of blood and fighting, also talk of hospital
Word count: 2188
Original piece please don’t copy :)
----------
Sitting in the hospital chair with your head in your hands you focused on your breathing.
In
Out
Flashes of claws plagued your vision, swiping before you.
In
Out
You scrunched your eyes hearing the piercing sound of your own scream, the eerie sound playing back in your mind, filling your head.
In
Out
You sat up leaning back against the plastic chair, rubbing your face up and down trying to regain some perspective. You stood up, unable to sit in those horrid chairs any longer and also wanting to be moving, anything to distract yourself.
Pacing back and forth in the hallway you consistently looked up at the closed doors in front of you.
‘SURGERY – Authorised personal only beyond this point’
The door stood still, you begged for it to open, for someone to come and tell you, they were okay, that they would survive. You needed something, anything to hold on to. Even false hope was still hope right?
Shaking your head, you sat back once again on the hospital chair.
***
“Y/N RUN” Stiles screamed.
You barely had a chance to face the boy before you were knocked to the ground, the cold floor welcoming your body. Whatever it was that knocked you was now headed towards stiles. You blinked a few times, trying to stop the world from spinning around you. You pulled yourself up against the lockers that lined the boys changing room. Wincing as you touched your forehead, your fingers instantly becoming coated in blood. You looked up and saw Stiles slowly backing away from a large figure, his arms up in defence. You could see his mouth moving, but the ringing in your ears prevented you from hearing Stiles’ pleas.
Eventually Stiles had retreated as far as the room would allow, feeling his back against the wall, his hands searched either side of him, a failed attempt at finding something to defend himself with.
The assailant’s hand was raised, his claws gleaming in the poorly lit locker room, and in one swift motion he had sliced Stiles’ stomach.
You screamed as his body slumped against the wall, the attacker simply left the room, disinterested in continuing the fight he thought was futile. Stiles’ torso began turning ruby red, the blood coating his middle in moments.
Scrambling to your feet you ran to him.
“Stiles? Hey, it’s okay I’m here I’m here” the words came out weaker than you intended. He looked up at you, his hands covering his stomach, a useless attempt at stopping the bleeding. You looked around the room, you needed to stop the bleeding. Grabbing a towel from a nearby bench you wrapped it and placed it on his abdomen, he grimaces at the sudden pressure.
“I’m sorry okay, I gotta stop the bleeding, just stay with me okay? Don’t you dare leave.” His slight head nod was all you needed to know he heard you.
“You gotta keep talking to me okay? I need another towel, and I’ll call an ambulance, or I’ll call Scott and we will get out of here okay?” You pleaded, trying to convince yourself it was going to be okay. You had seen injuries like this before and they always put pressure on the wound trying to stop the bleeding so that’s a good place to start. Your mind suddenly racing, scrambling to remember information they taught you in that stupid first aid course the school made everyone take. Logical and rational thinking was the only thing that would give Stiles a fighting chance. Placing Stiles’ hands over the now blood-soaked towel, you stood taking a deep breath, and began looking for more supplies.
“Talk to me Stiles, I need to hear you.”
“I don’t want to die at school.” He whispered.
“You’re not going to die; I won’t let you okay? Who else is going to tell me when I’m being dramatic or bring Scott and I into the woods at 1AM looking for a body? Who else is going to defend me even when I’m not there to defend myself? Who else is going to make me laugh when all I want to do is cry?” You finished your sentence as you kneeled next to Stiles, your arms filled with towels. Removing one you replaced it with two more, trying to stop the bleeding.
“You gotta tell my Dad, y/n”
“What? Tell your Dad what?” You were focused on his stomach, placing towel after towel anywhere you saw red.
“Tell him I love him okay?” Your breathing hitched in your throat and you looked up at the boy. His face was pale, more so than usual. His eyes lacked the spark that normally filled them.
“He knows Stiles. He knows.” Tears brimmed your eyes.
“You gotta tell him though okay? Promise me?”
“I promise, but you have to promise me something too.” He looked at you, unable to continue talking, allowing you to proceed. “You have to ask Lydia to the winter formal.”
His eyes widened, and mouth opened to object, no sound passed his lips.
“Come on Stiles, if- No- WHEN we get out of this, you have to do it.”
Stiles nodded as his eyes began to droop closed.
“No no no, you can’t Stiles come on.” You reached up to his face, your blood-soaked hands covering his cheeks with the liquid unintentionally. You shook his head and begged him to come back to you.
His breathing shallowed, only a whisper of air exchanging in his lungs.
The next few minutes were a blur. You had called an ambulance and then called Scott. Rode in the ambulance to the hospital and were told to wait outside while they wheeled Stiles into surgery. You stood at the entrance of the doors just staring, unable to move from your spot. Maybe if you didn’t move you would wake up from this horrible dream. Maybe if you didn’t move Stiles would walk out of there telling you it was all a mean joke. And so, you stood. Until a nurse came and asked about your head. You didn’t hear her the first few times she spoke to you, until she placed a hand on your shoulder, and you snapped out of your trance. Your face was wet from the tears you had no idea were even falling, too numb to feel anything other than helplessness.
The nurse walked you to a vacant bed, holding your arms and leading you away from the door you so desperately wanted to stand before. She cleaned your hands, the red painted sink yet another reminder of the events. She cleaned your wounds and stitched your forehead together before placing a bandage on your forehead. Her question didn’t register with you the first time, your eyes fixated on the wall ahead, the imagine of Stiles’ body permanently engraved in your mind.
“Sweetie?” You looked at the nurse. “Is there anyone I can call for you?” The sympathy evident in her eyes and tone of voice. Taking a few moments to answer you searched your mind for who you might want to call. Your parents were out of town on business, too busy with their jobs to worry about raising a child. Scott was already on his way, bringing Derek with him. The face of the sheriff came to the forefront of your mind. Feeling the guilt of having to tell him that his only son, his only child, was in a critical condition all because you wanted to sneak a copy of the test answers from Coaches desk, a fresh batch of tears lined your eyes.
“McCall.” You whispered. “Mellissa McCall.”
The nurse simply nodded and left the cubicle.
‘Mellissa McCall can you please report to emergency bay 3 please, Mellissa McCall to emergency bay 3’ the intercom speaker sounded through the hospital.
Moments later the privacy cloth dividing your bed from the emergency room was whipped open. Mellissa’s distraught face appeared behind it, she ran towards the bed, wrapping her arms around you and tightly holding as your body collapsed into hers.
“I tried Melissa, I tried but there was so much blood and it was everywhere-” you began
“Shhh it’s okay you did great okay?” she comforted.
“I can’t tell him. I can’t tell his Dad, I can’t.” You begged.
“Hey, we will do it together okay? I’m right here.” Melissa always had a way of soothing anyone. Maybe it was her motherly touch or the way her voice had a calming tone to it, but it always helped. Always. After a few minutes she pulled away, told you she was going to call the sheriff and ask him to come down, then she was going to go into the theatre to check on Stiles’ progress.
Leaving your cubicle, you sat on the chairs in front of the surgery. Your head hurt but it didn’t faze you. Losing your best friend was at the forefront of your mind and the thought of not having your cheeky sidekick beside you was too much to handle.
Quick footsteps sounded the halls and your heart raced. You weren’t ready to tell Sheriff Stilinski about his son. Looking up you were somewhat relieved to see Scott and Derek.
“Hey.” Scott said softly as you raised to your feet and were pulled into a tight hug. “Have you heard anything?” Shaking your head, you pulled away, not wanting to make eye contact with the werewolf Infront of you, too ashamed to see the distress on his face knowing you caused it.
Scott stepped back allowing Derek to hug you next. He didn’t let go when you tried to pull away after a few moments, knowing you needed to be held just a little longer. Sniffling, you pulled back, Derek allowing you to this time. His arms stayed wrapped around your waist, his hand comfortably placed on you hip.
Collectively everyone looked up at the sound of another person running towards you all. A worried sheriff Stilinski appeared at the end of the hall, sprinting towards you. Before he could ask where his boy was and what had happened, the surgery doors swung open, a gowned-up Melissa exiting the room. She removed her protective gear and took a deep breath. Derek pulled you closer, preparing for the news.
“He lost a lot of blood. Almost too much.” She looked towards the sheriff. “But that boy in there is as stubborn as anything. The doctors believe he will make it.” Everyone sighed in relief and Derek pulled you into his chest, closing his eyes in relief. You felt your knees go weak and let out a soft cry.
“Y/n, you saved him.” Melissa approached you. “If you weren’t with him, he wouldn’t be here.” You nodded into Derek’s chest, unwilling to separate knowing you would have to face your best friends Dad. Mellissa hugged Scott and then the sheriff, both thanking her for her help.
You felt a hand on your upper back, slowly pulling away from the safety of Derek’s chest you turned to face Noah. His eyes were soft, tears falling from them freely, he softly smiled before pulling you into his chest.
“I’m so sorry.” You whispered.
“Hey it’s okay, he’s okay, we’re okay.” He replied.
“I didn’t mean it I swear we didn’t know we weren’t alone.”
“Y/n stop” He paused, separating the two of you, holding you at arms distance and tilting his head down. “We just need him to recover okay? That’s what you need to focus on.”
Simply nodding you were pulled back into the arms of the sheriff. Looking over his shoulder your eyes connected with Scott’s, his worried expression was replaced with one of anger. Eventually the Sheriff needed to sign some paperwork at the front desk, or maybe Melissa just sensed you guys needed a minute. Either way you were grateful for the opportunity to be able to explain the events to the boys.
“Well?” Scott looked at you expectantly. You sighed and looked at your feet.
“We wanted the answers to Tuesday’s test, neither of us had time to study so we figured we would find the answer key in coaches’ desk and borrow it.” Scott rolled his eyes and breathed out heavily, his mannerisms dripping with disapproval. Derek could only watch on as you continued to explain yourself. “When we got there, Stiles said he thought we weren’t alone, I thought he was just trying to scare me. We got to the boy’s locker room and were about to head into coaches’ office when Stiles yelled at me to run. Everything else is just a blur.” Finally looking up and meeting Scott’s eyeline you saw him deep in thought, the stress of the night’s events, evident in every inch of his face. “Scott?”
“I’m thinking.” He was short.
“There’s one more thing.” He looked towards you, ready to be annoyed with whatever you were about to say next. “Whatever attacked stiles, it had claws.” His eyes widened and looked towards Derek who looked like he had just made the same connection as Scott.
“There’s another werewolf in Beacon hills.”

The human Jacob AU that no one asked for but I can’t stop thinking about
° The books are the same up to the movie theatre with Mike and Jake (except there are no mentions of Sam’s “gang” because it isn’t a thing, Embry is still hanging out with Jacob and Quil, Jake isn’t afraid he’s next)
° Jacob and Bella have a little laugh at Mike’s expense but make sure he gets home safe.
° Jacob doesn’t get “mono” and drop off the face of the earth, he and Bella just keep getting closer.
° and so, Jacob is with her when she find the meadow and Laurent finds her
° in my version of events Laurent did not decide to suddenly side with Victoria because that makes absolutely no sense. He had no trouble ditching her and James in the first book and has supposedly found a partner in Irina who is friends with the Cullens so why would he be doing Victoria a favour and scouting the area?? make it make sense.
° no, instead, Victoria located him and started asking questions about the Cullens and he, trying to dissuade her from going against them, tells her what he’s learned about them since coming to stay with the Denalis. Alice’s visions, Edward’s mind reading, he lets it all slip in the ernest belief she’ll decide it isn’t worth going after Bella, after all evasion is her heightened power; she should cut her losses and run.
° after talking to Victoria, Laurent decides to warn the Cullens, he has a bad feeling after their talk and suspects she won’t give up so easily.
° he finds the house empty which is peculiar, they seemed so invested in this little human and who do you think he runs across in the meadow but that very human accompanied by a friend.
° he tells her about his talk with Victoria but there is a menacing undertone to everything he says. He is trying not to kill humans for Irena’s sake but as his eyes can attest to, he’s had some slip ups, and, really, she does smell delicious. If she is no longer under the Cullen’s protection then there would really be very little harm in draining her and there’s only one witness to take care off. It might even be a mercy because if Victoria gets her hands on her she would not make it quick, he’d do it as painlessly as possible.
° all of this is said aloud because the reader has no insight into Laurent’s mind otherwise and he seems like a person who’s inclined to give the occasional monologue
° he tells her to run, before he changes his mind
° meanwhile, Jacob is freaking the fuck out. As soon as they reach the road Bella guns it for her truck while Jacob just keeps up a continuous stream of “what the fuck. what the fuck. what the actual fuck. they’re actually fucking vampires? what the fuck. oh, god, dad was right. What The Fuck.”
° after that the whole story comes out, how Jacob was actually the person who helped her figure it out, how she had envisioned spending eternity with Edward and how, now that he’s gone, she hasn’t just been robbed of the person she loves but of what she had come to accept as her future. She has never been able to confide in anyone about the whole story so she tells him everything, right down to what actually happened when she got injured in Phoenix. It’s not like they’re coming back, it doesn’t matter if she tells Jacob.
° Jacob is understandably on overload, Bella drives him home and he says he needs some time.
° this is when Bella starts trying to reach Jacob but he’s unreachable. He’s processing a tremendous amount of information and needs some time away from the madness of Bella’s life.
° Bella starts to get restless. Jacob isn’t talking to her, she feels isolated and she needs to see Edward. She jumps off the cliff.
° I kind of want Sam to be the one who sees her jump and who fishes her out of the water tbh. He doesn’t have Charlie’s number so he calls Jacob’s house.
° Jacob promptly freaks out.
° he brings Bella home, Harry Clearwater has had a heart attack.
° Jacob is frightened for Bella after her jump but he also needs to be there for his dad right now and Seth is so young, Leah seems different after she lost her dad too. He needs to be there for them.
° There’s also the fact that the girl he’s in love with is in love with a vampire but staying away from Bella did not give him the clarity he’d hoped for. It’s still a mess.
° Alice arrives, she doesn’t need blind spots in her visions to go and knock some sense into Bella. Yes, she’s alive this time but she saw her voluntarily jump off a cliff into a raging ocean. Before she left she was a mess talking about how Bella tried to commit suicide and she had to go ensure she wouldn’t attempt it a second time.
° When Jacob rolls up to the house and sees Alice there it feels as though his insides have turned to ice. Are they all back? Is he losing Bella before he ever really got to tell her how he feels?
° Alice leaves to let Bella explain the situation. She tells him only Alice is back and why she came to visit.
° Jacob is a mess, this whole thing is a mess, but he’s left with the feeling that he had when he saw Alice was there. He needs to tell Bella how he feels.
° They have the almost kiss in the kitchen. Jacob is still dumb enough to answer the phone in someone else’s house, he still tells Edward that Charlie’s at the funeral.
° Alice returns, frantic. They have to leave for Volterra. However, Jacob doesn’t basically beg Bella to let Edward kill himself and stay with him. Once he understands that Bella is serious and Edward literally is going to try to get himself killed because he thinks Bella is dead he understands that the only way she can live with herself is if she tries everything she can to stop him from succeeding.
° Instead he is the voice of reason: “Bella, listen to me, Charlie is about to come home to an empty house after burying one of his best friends. He will be beside himself with worry and this note is bullshit, you’re a horrible liar. Tell him you’re staying with Alice tonight because you’re going to Seattle together in the morning, there’s a sale or some shit that she wants to drag you to. Tomorrow night you call him and tell him your car broke down, you have to stay in Seattle while they order the parts for you. It might be a few days. That’ll buy you some time.”
° “And call me when you land or, I don’t know, I might worry too.”
° It feels like tearing his own heart out but he lets her go. He doesn’t beg her to stay.
° The events at Volterra play out the same way they did but Charlie isn’t left to deal with the same amount of shit he was in the original.
° When they return Jacob comes to visit her, she fills him in and, let me tell you, he has a few things to say.
° “I can’t believe you’re just going to get back together with him. Bella he lied to you, manipulated you and left you. His sister can see the god damn future, if you think he didn’t know how this would affect you then you’re wrong. And he still did it. Maybe he’s telling you the truth and he did it because he thought it would be better for you in the long run but he made that decision without you. If you just take him back then you are essentially telling him that was an okay thing for him to do and it just wasn’t.”
° Jacob is so angry at the Cullens and really, what he’s saying isn’t wrong. The angrier he gets the more Bella can feel her own anger flaring to life, it had been buried under the sheer relief of finding Edward alive, the euphoria of being told that he still loves her. Now she feels indignant; how dare he just make this decision for her, how dare he not take into account her own feelings on the matter, how dare he prioritise his own concerns over hers, and how dare the entire family just go along with it. They all left her.
° She drives herself over to the Cullen’s house to have a talk with them. The vote stays the same, the “if you don't want me, then I'm not going to force myself on you, whether Alice is willing or not” part definitely stays in. However, Bella, after having taken the vote has a few choice words for all of them. “You all left me. I have spent months trying to learn to survive without you and it didn’t go all that well. I want to join you, I really do. But I don’t trust you anymore. You all made an enormous decision for me, without my say so. You’ve now made another decision that I was a part of and even though we don’t all agree, we all got a say. It’s going to take time for me to learn to trust you again, in the meantime all I have to say is this: you will never make a decision regarding me without my input again. Never.”
° She also talks to Alice separately, discounting Edward she feels the most hurt by the fact that she would have left her.
° Since Jacob is now the only person outside of the Cullens who she can actually talk to about her life, she tells him about her talk with them, including the vote.
° Jacob has an understandable freakout regarding the fact that Bella has definitively chosen to become a vampire. This is definitely not what he’d thought would happen after he and Bella had their last talk. And because he’s an impulsive teenager he brings Charlie the motorcycle, hoping that Bella will be grounded and get some distance from Edward and maybe even change her mind.
I have a lot of thoughts regarding the continuation of the series but it’s already a mammoth post so idk, i might do a separate post about Eclipse at some point.

Why Janus Planned The Entirety Of His Own Acceptance Arc From The Very Beginning
I think that Janus planned everything. From his reveal all the way to POF, he mapped it all out like a game of chess. And I think I finally know why, too.
So let’s start at his goals. He represents deceit, and has the goal of self-preservation. Additionally, however, he wants the one thing all sides want: for Thomas to listen to them.
Janus’ introduction is very different from Virgil’s. Thomas didn’t even know about him. And when things settle down, we get an idea as to what his first impression of Janus is: he’s scared of him, and skeptical, too. He doesn’t trust him. But this is exactly what Janus wanted. But why? Why present himself as a frightening and untrustworthy side? How could that possibly benefit him or Thomas?
Well, let’s look at what would have happened if just appeared and introduced himself as, well, himself. No disguises, no theatre scenario, none of that.
Well for one, Thomas probably wouldn’t be as afraid of him. What scared Thomas so much, I think, was that Janus was able to disguise himself for almost half an hour and he didn’t even know. And until Patton appeared at the end, he truly believed that he had no morality, that it was Janus the entire time. He gets the impression that this new side can manipulate him, and quite easily, too. So not only does he not trust this new side, but he’s scared of him, too.
But if Janus introduced himself upfront? Thomas still wouldn’t trust him, but there wouldn’t be much fear either. Thomas would likely just see him as a simple nuisance. He just doesn’t naturally invoke the same fear that Virgil does. Without the fear factor, he only has distrust.
But why would Thomas not trust him if he introduced himself upfront?
Well, he has multiple things going against him. His primary function is deceit. Not exactly helping his case. But let’s say they look past that. Well, he also has a ‘snake face,’ which really doesn’t make him come across as an honest, well-meaning person. Lastly, pretty much all the sides do not like him. Virgil makes his full-on hatred pretty obvious, and Logan certainty doesn’t seem to like him much either. Patton sees him as an antagonist, his opposite. Roman appreciates his charm, but still sees him as a creepy villain nonetheless. All the sides are against him, so how could he convince Thomas to trust him?
But if trying to intimidate Thomas into listening to him won’t work, and being honest won’t work, what will?
Deceiving him.
He knows that even if he’s honest, Thomas still will not trust him. So if Thomas isn’t going to trust him either way, he needs to find a way to manipulate the situation so that even if Thomas won’t listen to him at the moment, he still has control over the situation.
The first episode with Janus goes perfectly according to plan.
One thing that always struck me as odd was that this was the situation that Janus decided he needed to be involved in? Some texting drama?
But that’s exactly what Janus needed. He needed something small, something he could ensure he could manage. If he had made his first appearance in SVS, that would be way too much for Thomas to take in at once, and Thomas wouldn’t have any clue as to what Janus was like. Janus introduced himself over something minor, something insignificant that he wasn’t truly needed for, for the sole purpose of leaving an impression. He meant to reveal himself at the end.
Now let’s move on to SVS. This time, Janus drops the disguise much earlier. And it’s so, so obvious that this was intentional. Janus says things he knows Logan would never say. Hell, Janus doesn’t often use metaphors himself. He proposes hypothetical situations and uses similes, but when does he ever say anything like ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’?
So if he dropped the disguise so early, why even bother doing it in the first place? Simple: he just needed to buy himself a bit more time before Logan came. He needed to ensure that the courtroom scenario was already set up. Janus knew that Logan would be upset that he wasn’t included in a courtroom scenario and would possibly try to insert himself into one of the roles that Janus didn’t want him in.
This begs the question, though, why have Logan on the sidelines?
Because Janus knows that Logan is an intelligent and professional person, and would likely point out that the trial wasn’t exactly following legal code. So, Janus benches him.
As for Patton, well, it just makes the most sense that he would be in the position he was. Patton is the one that Janus is trying to oppose.
But what about Virgil? Why have Virgil as the jury? Why decide that the one person who hates him the most, who is the most biased against him, gets to decide who wins the case? Simple: Janus knows that Virgil will still let him win the case. But how does he have so much faith in that? Because he knows Virgil. They have history, and by now, Virgil’s actions are predictable to him. Virgil is a pessimist by nature, and blunt. He won’t lie to Thomas and say that he thinks he’s a good person just to spare Thomas’ feelings. Janus knows that despite what Virgil thinks of him, he will judge Thomas as guilty.
As for Roman? Janus may not know Roman as well as Virgil, but Roman is predictable. When it comes to morals, he will follow Patton, no matter what. He has to in order to keep up his image as the hero. So, Janus knows that Virgil will judge Thomas as guilty, and he knows that Roman will sentence Thomas to go to the wedding because he knows that Roman knows that that’s what Patton wants.
That was his entire goal for that episode: ensure that Thomas goes to the wedding.
And the reason he needs Thomas to go to the wedding is because it sets the stage for POF.
Janus knows that Thomas will be upset after the wedding, and he knows that Thomas’ mood will have an effect on Patton. His first goal in the episode, aside from bringing up a few facts, is to get Patton to snap. He needs Thomas to see that sometimes Patton doesn’t always know everything, that things are more complicated then that. And, more importantly, he needs to present himself as the hero this time.
As I said, Janus knows that Roman will side with Patton no matter what. So if Roman is by Patton’s side, then who’s there for Thomas?
He is.
Janus presents himself as the hero. This scene is such a crucial moment. He’s clearly trying to portray the image that he is on Thomas’ side.
But if that’s the case, then why does he dodge Patton’s attack and let Thomas get hit instead?
He feels like he has no other choice. Patton is still insisting that it’s dangerous for Thomas to take self-care too far. The only way Janus can get Patton to see that he’s hurting Thomas is...to let Patton literally, physically hurt Thomas. This, I think, is probably the most difficult thing Janus has ever had to do thus far. Thomas’ safety and happiness is his one goal, there is no one who he puts before Thomas, not even himself.
It’s the hardest thing Janus has had to do, but it works. Patton finally realizes, finally admits that he doesn’t know everything.
Janus is so close to getting accepted.
But there’s one problem left: Roman.
Roman doesn’t trust Janus. And here’s the thing: Janus needed Patton to accept him, yes, but Roman was also a crucial component. I don’t think Janus’ intention was to antagonize Roman, rather, I think he wanted Roman’s approval. Pushing Thomas’ hero down doesn’t help anyone, especially Thomas. He has Patton’s approval, now he needs Roman’s. He needs Roman, Thomas’ hero, to see him as one too. And that, that is where he made a horrible mistake.
He tried to get Roman to take a liking to him in the courtroom, not by much, of course, since he still wanted Roman to sentence Thomas to the wedding after all, but enough for Roman to not be completely against him.
But he screwed up. Roman realized that Janus’ praise in the courtroom wasn’t 100% honest, and now he full-on hates Janus.
The way Janus tries to fix this, I think, is by giving his name. Granted, I’m sure that he would have done it sometime during POF anyway, but he thinks that it’s enough to change Roman’s mind and it isn’t.
This, I think, is the real reason why Janus is so harsh when Roman makes fun of his name.
What he expects is going to happen, is that Roman is going to warm up to him a bit. Or at the least, that he’ll stop spiraling/panicking and take a minute to truly listen to Janus, perhaps allow him to explain himself.
But that’s not what happens. And Janus just snaps.
Because he was so close, so close to wrapping up his acceptance in a perfect, neat little bow and it is ruined.
Sure, he still had his relationship with Virgil and Logan to work on, but if Patton and Roman were on his side, Thomas would be too. And it would be three against two, meaning he’d likely get a permanent seat at the table. He could fix his relationship with Virgil and Logan later, but he needed a seat at the table. Yes, his plan is kinda rushed, but he wants to get to Thomas as fast as possible so he can help him with things like this in the future-things where there could be even more important things at stake. I’m sure he didn’t want to hurt anyone, but he felt like he had to go with this plan in order to help in the long-term.
But Roman laughs at his name and he is so frustrated, so tired, and he doesn’t know how else he can try to get Roman on his side and he snaps.
Afterwards, you can tell he regrets it. He knows he messed up.
And when Thomas says that Roman is still his hero, Roman turns to Janus in a silent question of ‘is he lying?’ But Janus interprets it as, ‘is he telling the truth?’ and so he nods. And when he sees that Roman is upset, he realizes that there was a miscommunication between them, but before he can do anything about it, Roman is already gone.
TLDR: All of Janus’ actions are planned to get him a seat at the table, except for when he snaps and calls Roman ‘the evil twin,’ and fucks up majorly.

No Time To Die (2021) Review
I swear this movie came out 2 years ago?... Okay, yes, I agree, that was a cheap gag, but look, the constant postponement of this film's release is in itself a joke! Finally though, it is here.
Plot: James Bond is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. However, his peace is short-lived as his old CIA friend, Felix Leiter, shows up and asks for help.
“I’d rather slash my wrists.” Those were the words spoken by actor Daniel Craig in 2015 for a Time Out magazine interview prior to the release of Spectre. Seemingly it felt as if Craig was done with his signature role as famed British spy James Bond, however be as it may have been, MGM managed to sway away Craig’s suicidal thoughts and cut him a cheque with a sum he simply couldn’t refuse and have him return for a proper final outing. Hollywood business at it’s finest, ladies and gentlemen! But the question is posed, was there a need for another Craig/Bond film? For the previous instalment Spectre was such a let-down that it left a sour taste, or at least I think it did. Honestly, I don’t really remember much of what happened in Spectre, it was such a shoulder-shrugging forgettable feature. The answer however is a positive one, for No Time To Die ends up being worth the wait. All this wait. Though I would’ve found it super amusing if this film came out and turned out to be an absolute stinker, as then everyone would just be sat there in the theatre wondering why the hell we’ve been waiting for this movie this entire time. But nope, it’s a good one.
No Time To Die really feels like a culmination of Daniel Craig’s time as James Bond. And with that merit this movie doesn’t actually feel like a James Bond film. Yes, it has the one-liners and the action set pieces and the typical tropes of a Bond film, however the focus here is very much more on Daniel Craig’s interpretation of the character, and how he managed to turn a weapon into a human. For James Bond at the end of the day was always a killing machine. License to kill and all that jazz was always at the centre of what made the character, however Craig’s take brought a lot of humanity and reality to what was a stereotype. And it’s shown more than ever in No Time To Die, with Daniel Craig delivering a performance of vast emotional gamut. His Bond experiences moments of general happiness and actual love (real love, not just his typical one-night stands he’s known for) to then fury and sadness. My fiancée jokingly made a remark at the beginning of this movie about how petty James Bond is acting in this movie. And I agreeably chuckled at first, for to be fair he was getting offended easily and taking everything so personally without giving it much thought, however the more the movie progressed, the more I understood why he was this way. It made him feel more human, and actually made me care for him. Additionally, the aforementioned element of love plays a big part in this film, for romance is truly at the heart of this one. Bond turns out to be a real loving sweetheart, and this all culminated in one hell of a finale, one that really surprised me with it’s emotional gut punch. Look, I see this film’s ending really dividing audiences as it’s not something you would typically expect from a James Bond movie, however I absolutely relished it and saw it as a perfect swan song for Daniel Craig.
The movie is long. In fact, it’s very long. In fact, it’s too long. It runs at nearly 3 hours and yes, there is a lot of story crammed into this but honestly there are many chunks that could have been cut down and the film would have benefitted from it. For the movie is very good, but it has chunks that drag which does cause the experience to be slightly diminished, however that being said, this is a very well directed movie. Cary Joji Fukunaga (who’s previous work I don’t know much of though I have seen his Netflix limited series Maniac with Jonah Hill and Emma Stone which I do recommend highly) exhibits some strong directing here, balancing moments of real tension using unsettling imagery with moments of levity and good character chemistry. Yes, he brings class and the right amount of epicness to the action sequences, but it was actually the quieter moments that I feel he really excelled at. The opening sequence is especially disturbing, with the way Fukunaga displays this lonely isolated house in the middle of snowy nowhere, and we see a mysterious figure creep towards it wearing a mask so creepy it reminded me of that freaky monkey mask from the horror thriller I See You. A shot from behind a sliding glass door I found especially unnerving.
Performances across the board are all great. Daniel Craig I’ve already sing praise for, however others are to be mentioned also. Rami Malek manages to take a fairly lacklustre villain and present him in proper vile fashion. He’s truly unpleasant and horrible in this role, and I truly despised him which is what made him perfect for the role. That being said the actual character was weak. There wasn’t much meat to him so to speak. Typical Bond bad guy who wanted to see the world burn. Lea Seydoux returns as Bond’s love interest Madeleine and her chemistry with Craig is wonderful and I really enjoyed seeing her character develop more since the last movie. Returning from Spectre too is the villainous Blofeld played by Christoph Waltz, and though he isn’t in the movie much, I weirdly enjoyed him more this time around. In Spectre is was really forgettable and the script didn’t know what to do with him, whilst here is serves a specific purpose and we also get to enjoy a great scene with him in prison having a battle of wits with Bond. Real good stuff. We also have a couple of new Bond girls, with Lashana Lynch taking on the 007 mantle, and it was nice seeing a very different kind of spy in her. Her and Bond bicker quite a bit, however natural they become buddies and they are the better for it. And Lynch can be easily added to the list of powerful badass women on-screen. Ana de Armas also appears in what is a little Knives Out reunion, and unfortunately she’s only in the movie for one sequence, but it’s actually a great sequence with her putting a new spin on the Bond girl stereotype, bringing charm, swagger and humour and riffing off good banter with Craig. Shame we only see so little of her. The likes of Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes also return, and even Jeffrey Wright takes a break from pondering What If? scenarios to make a little comeback.
No Time To Die definitely stands next to the better Daniel Craig Bond films alongside Casino Royale and Skyfall, and it’s a true culmination of all of them, whilst still managing to ignore and forget the existence of Quantum of Solace, which is good, because Quantum of Solace sucks and I can’t believe I even managed to bring it up again!! Regardless, what a way to send off Daniel Craig on a proper high, and really refreshing to actually witness a Bond movie that features feelings and emotions. In fact, it’s pure Valentine’s Day essential viewing, so mark your calendars for next year, as you now know what film you have to rewatch on February 14th 2021!
Overall score: 8/10

Unlikely Trio
Fandom: Criminal Minds Pairing: Spencer Reid x Male!Reader x Derek Morgan Summary: As you sleep on the jet, your boys talk about how lucky they are with you. Word Count: 1,385 Request: “could you do a spencer reid x male reader x derek fic? it's fine if you don't want to do the poly but if now a psycho male reader instead?” A/n: I’ve already written almost five chapters for the Remus Lupin!Son x Harry Potter series so like, first part on Friday (BST)?
“Can you stop staring, I’m trying to sleep.”
JJ snorted as she hears your very tired voice from one of the corners of the jets, you leaned against the wall as your two significant others sat across you. You had your eyes closed, but you were getting conscious as their eyes harden their stare. You sighed as you opened your eyes, looking to your left to Emily.
“Don’t look at me, I don’t have control over them.”
Hotch chuckles, hearing the conversation, “Alright, boys, let (Y/n) sleep.”
“Thank you, at least someone comes to my rescue,” You exclaimed, shifting yourself and leaning against the wall.
“You can pester him later when we’re off the jet,” Hotch finished as you let out an exasperated sigh, making everyone on the jet chuckle.
It’s not your fault you got injured in the latest case, it was supposed to be an easy investigate house and leave kind of job, and yet, the unsub had trapped the house. So, whilst you opened one of the doors, you had triggered one of the wires - shooting an arrow right into your shoulder. You wear a bulletproof vest to avoid getting critically harm if shot. They don’t prepare you when you get shot with an arrow, then again you don’t know what the odds are on getting shot with an arrow in your daily life.
And, you rather not ask Spencer on that statistic.
So, here you were in the jet on the way home, trying to sleep. You’ve tried to say to your boyfriends that it wasn’t that much of a deal. It wasn’t that deep of a wound and the doctors said you’ll be healed two weeks tops and in that time, you’re on desk work - not that you were complaining.
But, they refused to take your word for it. They are way too observant, they saw you wince when you accidentally moved it, groaned when a police officer had patted you against the shoulder. They had noticed that you were losing concentration quicker than usual because you were too distracted with the throbbing pain in your shoulder.
You get it, they were concerned for you and you would be too. But, they’re your boyfriends, not your mother. You just wanted to sleep before your boyfriends overwhelm you with excessive worry. You let out a sigh of content when you feel both their stares divert somewhere else.
Emily had suggested that they play poker, she had felt that you were uncomfortable and tense under their stares, and whilst she found the whole situation amusing - you really did need your rest. After five minutes of their game, they see you visibly relax and your breathing even out signalling that you were out cold.
“You know,” Emily hummed, “You two getting together, predicable, but then adding (Y/n)? Unpredictable.”
“Why do you say that?” Spencer asked, tilting his head, “We’re very lucky to be with him...”
“Is that so?” Emily wondered, eyebrow raising as a soft snore could be heard from your end, “Bless him, he seems tired out.”
“I don’t blame him,” Rossi mentions, also listening to their conversation, “I don’t think he could sleep well after getting hit by an arrow. I heard him muttering about if he hadn’t moved that was straight to his throat - I wouldn’t be so surprised if he’s been dreaming a different outcome.”
Emily cooed as your boyfriends looked over to you, your arms wrapped around your stomach as you had one of those neck pillows around you, your head against the wall. It seems like they get baffled on how quickly you fall asleep, you could be the most talkative person and yet fall asleep mid-sentence.
“I don’t doubt your love for him,” Emily continues, “I like you three happy together. You guys seem so lucky.”
“Of course, we are,” Spencer nodded, a smile creeping on his lips as his eyes light up.
“I mean, there are so many great things about (Y/n), what’s not to love about him?” Derek continues, laughing and shaking his head as he remembers your little quirks and such, “I mean he’s already great at work, but off-work, you see a different part to him.”
“I heard he teaches baseball for little league,” JJ speaks up, looking up from her book, “I was considering to send Henry for it.”
“That’ll be adorable,” Spencer gushed, “And yes, (Y/n) does do little league, you should see him and Derek play, I always get concerned that one of them will get hurt.”
“Yeah, I always forget how fast (Y/n) is,” Derek shakes his head, “I mean who would have thought this man could play the piano blindfolded? Or when he was younger, was that type of kid you hated in high school because he was all about sports.”
“God, I hated them,” Emily rolls her eyes as she exclaims her opinion, “I mean, they were always rude, and our sweet (Y/n) being a jock, it just doesn’t add up.”
Derek nods, agreeing, he might like sports as he grew up but you were more a sports fanatic than him, “You should come by his apartment and you’ll see his high school photo album, he looks good in a varsity jacket.”
“Also, on top of that, he has a passion for piano and has a great vinyl collection,” Spencer continues, “He’s a horrible dancer, but there’s never a day in his apartment where there isn’t music playing. He’s adorable when he tries to dance, but without a fail, he always seems to get both of us to join him.”
The game of poker was abandoned as they continued to talk about you and their relationship with them, they didn’t know how long they were even talking - could be half an hour, could have been an hour. The three of you was an unlikely trio. Everyone remembers how you guys got together, it wasn’t Spencer and Derek asking you out - in fact, they had been pitifully pining over you at work. They just didn’t know how to invite you into their relationship without getting rejected.
But, unexpectedly, you had come bouncing into work with the brightest smile on your face. Holding up three tickets to a shared love for musical theatre, inviting them two with you, as they agreed. You smile turned into a charming smirk, everyone witness how quickly your aura changing.
The soft sunshine boy switching to a smug charming lad as you exclaimed it was a date with a wink, before heading to Hotch’s office with your files. Since then, whilst Spencer and Derek was a great pair, with you, it was perfect as if you were the glue between them, the middle of their personality, their sunshine.
“He can get cocky, it’s in his nature...” Spencer complains as Emily chuckled, shaking your head.
“Shut up,” You mumbled, “You like it.”
The three of them turned to look at you, as you slowly opened your eyes. Blinking awake before stretching yourself into regret as you whine in pain when you awkwardly shifted your shoulder. Derek and Spencer cringed because they didn’t want to see you in pain.
“How long have you been awake?” Derek asked as he could feel Spencer tense up next to him, Spencer’s awkwardness emitting to everyone as his cheeks blushed red as you catch them talking about you.
“Dunno, five minutes?” You shrugged, then moaning, “I mean, you guys get excited when you talk about me so you started to get louder...”
“Oh, we apologise,” Spencer looks at you sheepishly as you shake your head.
“No, please continue, I would love to know the story of how you know you were in love with me...”
There was a smirk on your face as Derek’s and Spencer’s smile fall flat, causing JJ and Emily to burst out into laughter.
“You’re a dick,” Derek mutters as you give him a look, “Yeah, yeah, don’t say it. We already know. We like it.”
“Like?” You teased, licking you lip then biting it, “I think you mean love it, sweetheart.”
Derek and Spencer looked at you, you cheekily raised an eyebrow, you might be untouchable now, but you were so going to get it later back at home. You might as well have your fun with it.

the 1994 battle of the performers (luke patterson x f.reader)
i might make this a series if yall are interested!! i would write the rest in the readers p.o.v. this would just be a prologue, lmk!!
word count: 2.9k
the 1994 battle of the performers masterlist
Prologue
“Look what I found on the bulletin board!”
Alex looked around his locker, Luke's smiling face next to a piece of paper held tightly in his grip. He closed his locker and pulled the paper out of Luke’s hands, reading over the word.
Battle of the Performers
December 12th, 1994
The Charles Theatre
“What’s this?”
“This, my friend, is our first live gig,” Luke tapped the top of the page.
“A gig?”
Alex and Luke looked up once they heard Reggie’s voice sound from beside them.
“Yep, it's local but it’s something.”
Luke was over the moon about the plan, I mean come on a gig, that’s all that matters, to say the least.
“Perfect timing, my vintage leather jacket just came in,” Reggie nodded his head, just as happy about the news of the gig.
“Hey,” Bobby came up behind Alex, giving him a small pat on the shoulder and waving at the other guys. He looked over Alex's shoulder, reading over the words just as Alex did seconds ago.
“Are we gonna enter?”
“Yes,” Luke was fast to answer, bouncing on his toes at the idea of finally sharing their music with the world. Alex was about to open his mouth to say something about the paper but the sound of the hall going quite caught his attention.
(Y/N) (L/N) held her bag close to her shoulder, smiling at a few people that passed. The once confident girl seemed out of her element as she made her way to her locker.
“I didn’t know she was out of physical therapy yet?” Bobby muttered quietly to the rest of the group. Their eyes trained on the girl as she smiled when others did and accept the sad apologies.
“Did you hear they kicked her from the dance team?” Reggie spoke, overhearing the conversation from his history class yesterday.
Each boy in Sunset Curve felt horrible for the dancer, after the incident with her ACL and her long recovery. They all had just as much of a dream as she did and they’d be wrecked if they lost it all.
As the girl made it closer to the group Luke adjusted himself in front of her, giving a sympathetic smile.
“Hey (Y/N),” his voice was soft, looking around the halls at all the people that watched the two. A quick glare and half the heads in the hall were back to their original conversation.
“Patterson?”
“Just wanted to apologize, you know-”
“It’s fine, wasn’t anyone's fault,” his heart was ripping out as the girl passed him and moved around him. Her head hung low and broken and she opened her locker and rummaged through it. Luke said nothing, moving back with his little group as his eyes watched her a little longer before turning back.
“So the gig?”
“We can’t enter,” Alex closed his own locker, moving the paper for Luke’s eyes. He pointed to the requirements that were printed at the bottom of the page.
MUST HAVE A DANCE NUMBER WITH LIVE PERFORMANCE
“What,” Luke ripped the paper, holding it between his fingers as he read over the words while Bobby helped guide him throughout the halls.
“They can’t do this!”
“They can, it’s their battle,” Alex commented, giving his friend a sympathetic smile. He could tell how excited he was about the idea of a gig, just for it to be ruined by their underprepared band.
Luke sighed, waving Reggie and Bobby bye and they made their way to English and Luke and Alex had Gym.
“This is trash,” Luke pouted as he made his way into the locker room, Alex luckily paying attention to the both of them and held Luke’s gym bag in his hand.
“We’ll find a different gig,” Alex clapped his friends on the shoulder, finding a stall and quickly dipping in before someone else found it. Luke didn’t care enough in the moment to find his own, easily taking off his “school approved” shirt his mother made him wear into his muscle tee.
“Yeah, but this one would’ve shown all of our parents, mine and yours, maybe even Reggie’s,” Luke’s shoulders dropped at that fact. He just wanted Reggie's parents to stop fighting all the time, Alex’s parents get over their old age ways, and his own parents to just understand it’s going to work.
Alex frowned at the thought, knowing everyone had their own reason past the love for music and why they needed a gig.
“She’ll never make it back on the dance team, they’ll have to have try-outs,” a group of “shit-heads” as Bobby would call them came into the locker room. Alex and Luke knew they were talking about (Y/N), which pissed them off and how funny they found the poor girl's pain.
But something else was rattling in Luke’s brain.
Try-outs.
“Alex,” Luke’s infectious smile was back as he grabbed the top of the stall Alex was in, pushing himself up and holding himself there as he watched his friend with a goofy laugh.Alex fell backwards, looking up at Luke with his gym shorts barely on all the way.
“We hold try-outs for the dancers, get our own dance team.”
Alex shook his head, standing back up and pulling the pants up all the way while looking up at his friend.
“We don’t know anything about dance, plus who would try-out for our band,” Alex opened the door of the stall, Luke still keeping his grip and the door swung back.
“The dance team is super picky, anyone not on it will take any opportunity they can get,” Luke jumped down, finally moving to his bag to change into his own gym shorts.
“I don’t know Luke.”
It wasn’t the wrose plan, Alex could agree on that but realistically it would be hard and while they did have time with it being September and all it wasn’t going to be easy to make the whole thing come to life.
Sunset Curve’s music at the moment was good for head bumping but a serious dance routine would take some work from everyone.
“Let’s ask Reggie and Bobby before we decide?”
Alex watched Luke bite his lip and give his best puppy dog eyes.
“I can work with that.”
“I dig it,” Reggie gave a goofy smile and bit into the apple that he was just attempting to juggle seconds ago. Luke jumped in his seat, smiling widely as 1/2 of the group had said they liked the idea.
“What inspired this idea?” Bobby asked, shrugging as he stole a chip from Alex bag, which caused Alex to roll his eyes.
Luke simply turned around, doing his best to hide the fact he was watching (Y/N) as she looked to be in a heated discussion with the dance team captain, Megan Ray, who looked broken about the discussion but standing her ground.
“Someone mentioned they’d have to replace her with try-outs in the locker room,” Luke muttered, watching as the girl jabbed her finger into the table. most likely trying to make her way back on the team.
“I feel so bad for her,” Bobby muttered, trying to imagine a world where he couldn’t rock out with his friends because of a freak accident.
“Me too, she’s really smart too. Basically saved me in Chemistry last year,” Reggie looked away from the girl, someone he’d considered a good person hurting so bad for something no one could fix.
Once the girl stood up from the chair, trying her best not to draw too many eyes, was when Luke went back to the plan.
“It’ll work like a dream,” Luke muttered, already pulling a piece of paper out with his chick scratch and a sad worked out calendar.
“How do you read that?”
Luke stood up and smacked Alex with the paper, easily going back to the plan.
“I talked to Coach Edison and he said the Gym is free this Friday, plenty of time to get the word out,” Luke smiled at the easily done, but still done, the research he had done.
“What will we make them dance to?”
“Now or Never,” Luke spoke with a shrug.
“Sounds well thought out,” Reggie spoke absentmindedly, trying to remember a thought he just had but lost.
“Come on, we gotta show everyone who doubts us we mean something.”
Luke didn’t know if it was that sentence that struck a chord with them but they all seemed to slowly feed into Luke’s words more after that.
“Peter?”
Reggie turned at the call of his last name, smiling once he saw (Y/N) standing behind him at the table.
“(Y/N)!”
Reggie's smile was contagious as he smiled up at the girl, doing his best to avoid talking about the leg injury, he knew if something happened to his finger and he couldn’t play bass again he wouldn’t want to talk about it.
“Do you have the notes of Henderson’s class? He’s making me take all the quizzes I missed this Friday after school,” she muttered, nodding her head to the other boys as they watched her.
“That sucks, I can give them to you last period.” She gave a quick smile as a thank you, smiling to the other boys before heading back to the table she sat at before with a few other girls they had seen her around the halls with.
“Can’t believe Henderson would be that harsh,” Bobby shivered as if scared at the thought of taking that many quizzes in one sitting.
“He hates anyone who doesn’t do classic field, probably blames her for the fall,” Reggie muttered, finally making it to the core of his apple.
“What! It wasn’t her fault,” Luke jumped in, trying his best to keep his voice down.
“We don’t think that, now chill,” Alex waved at the few girls that had looked their way at the outburst.
Once everything died down, Alex and Bobby both nodded to one another, then looking at Luke.
“This Friday it is.”
“This is going horrible,” Reggie whispered to Luke at the girl before they tried to dramatically do a split but ending up awkwardly crawling on the floor.
“Thank you Sara, we’ll get back with you,” Luke spoke as soon as the music stopped, reaching over to press stop on the crappy camera they found deep in Bobby’s studios yesterday.
Luke’s finger slipped and he was too worked up to try and find the button so he simply left the camera one, waving as Sara skipped out from the gym.
“We’ll at least she didn’t puke,” Bobby muttered, still in shock and how easily the one boy had his entire lunch on the gym floor.
“That was a nice touch.”
Luke stood up, slowly walking around the table to stand in front of his other friends.
“This is going horribly! Where are the dancers in this place?”
“Probably on the dance team,” Alex spoke up, smiling sarcastically at Luke.
“How about we go to the vending machine,” Reggie jumped up, easily diffusing the tension from the room as the rest agreed a snack would be nice.
They all made their way from the room, all talking about the different dancers and who they thought might be best.
“Maddie was good, but she couldn’t choreograph an entire team,” Bobby waited as Reggie looked over the different options in the machine.
“I didn’t even think about that,” Luke sighed, slowly becoming more and more annoyed with this whole idea.
“Look-”
Alex was cut off when he heard the faint sound of guitar and drums echoing the halls of the old sad school.
“Does anyone else hear that?”
“What? Reggie’s head turning as he chose between M&M or Hershey's,” Luke felt back, laying on one of the tables in the cafeteria.
“Hey!”
Alex rolled his eyes, following the sound of the music, hearing his own beat and Luke’s voice sing from the gymnasium. He walked slowly, stopping at the double door, looking through the tempered glass at the figure in the room. He heard his friends run from the gym, meeting his side as they all looked in the gym at the same sight.
(Y/N) glided across the floor, her hands held on both sides of her head as she easily slid across the floor in her sweat pants. She moved from that to a split, easily jumping up from that and doing small little kicks to the beat of the music.
“Wow,” Luke watched as the girl threw her head back, eyes closed as she took in the music that the boys knew by heart at this point.
She clapped along with the music, looking as alive with the music as the boys did when they played. Once the beat dropped the girl attempted to spin out, catching her leg the wrong way sending her to the floor.
“Oh no,” Reggie and Alex didn’t waste any time before pushing the double doors open and running to the groaning girls side. Luke and Bobby were hot on their trail, sliding as they all huddled around her.
“Are- are you okay?”
She sat up slightly, holding her knee to her chest with her face showing obviously pain.
“I’m fine- Uhm, does anyone have water?”
Luke didn’t waste time reaching to the “judge” table and taking his own water from the table. He turned back and handed it to her, looking at her with panic in his eye.
“Thank you,” she let out a shaky breath, letting herself calm down while twisting the cap open.
“You really are an amazing dancer,” Bobby commented, thinking now the panic was gone would be a nice time to mention it.
“I was,” she spoke as she looked to her feet, watching her beat up tennis shoes with a clenched jaw.
“Uhm actually he means present tense,” Luke laughed, like the situation was funny. I mean he just watched her glide and smile all with her eyes closed.
She wasn’t even scared of being bad, she knew she was that good.
“Did you miss the fall?”
He knew the attitude wasn’t at him, he knew she had a right to be angry about her whole world changing.
“You were great before the fall,” Reggie spoke in a soft voice, hurt about watching her without permission.
“No, I was better before.” She looked up, taking in the room when her eyes stopped on the video camera that was flashing red light.
“Is that recording?”
Luke looked at the camera, jumping up and stopping the recording. He un- screwed in from the tripod and made his way over to her.
“Watch it,” he held out the video to her but she simply pushed it away.
“No thanks, just delete it,” Luke was shocked, to say the least. She could still dance, like really dance, and she was throwing it away.
“You’re just scared,” he challenged the girl, earning a harsh “Luke” from Alex, warning him not to touch that topic with a ten-foot pole.
“You’d be scared if you went through what I went through,” she spoke hurtfully, righting to say.
Luke thought everything over, he didn’t know much about the injury but that it was a torn muscle in the knee and that was the end of it. But something that tears can technically heal, he just didn’t know how that worked exactly, he hated science class.
“She has a point,” Bobby smiled at the girl, doing his best not to say the wrong thing.
“Well, face your fear!”
“Look what happened when I did,” she motioned for someone to help her up, Reggie giving his shoulder and helping her stand slightly. Her body was obviously still in shock and she was slowly taking his arm.
“We can help you! Join us on the Battle of the Performers,” Luke knew it might come off selfish, but he really wanted to help her fight her fears face first. It must suck not doing what you love, but she had a chance so why not take it?
“Do you know how hard that is to win?” She thought it was funny to say the least. The band was good, she wouldn’t be shocked if she heard them on the radio in a few years with some famous award, but people just as new and good to the scene would come from far and wide for a chance at this competition.
Plus, if they really wanted to win they’d find a dancer who wasn’t broken.
“You’ll find someone better,” she nodded to Reggie and let her leg finally work properly again, thankful she would add.
“Nobody we’ve seen is like you!” He was so close to her face, giving his puppy dog eyes like he would with the others, always getting what he wanted then.
“I’m sorry, but no. Have fun with the scouting.”
She nodded at each boy, slowly making herself excused from the now tender room as Luke felt his dreams walk away.
“She has a right to be scared,” Alex spoke, trying his best to see both sides.
“Yeah, but she needed to punch fear like she wanted to punch the dance team captain,” Luke pouted, looking at the girl who left without another look. He was hoping she’d come back like in those horrible 80′s rom-coms Alex watched so much, but she never came back.
He held the camera in his hand, looking at the tape that sat paused. Her face looked almost scared as she stepped in the gym.
“We’ll find someone Luke,” Bobby set a gentle hand on his friend's shoulder.
“Yeah, but we could have had her.”
so, should i make this a series??

things i know to be true about the new directions/glee universe as a whole
-the Lima Bean's bathroom is in the basement
-every member of the Hudmel family is addicted to fizzy water. Sam resisted for as long as he could but he will fall soon.
-McKinley High has a game called Bonk. you have to somehow jump enough that your head moves the ceiling tile and bumps it into the ceiling. people care about it more than football or glee club or cheerios. do not ask what all the rules are. you just have to pick it up as you go
Artie felt left out so Finn, Sam, and Puck lifted him up so he could participate. it was a beautiful day. everyone in the hallway at the time was fucking ecstatic in the way that only teenagers getting excited about stupid shit can be
-when someone says "that's what she said" at a new directions gathering, everyone has to touch their finger to their nose and say a colour. if you're the last person to do this OR you say a colour that was already said, you have to either make a sex noise or rap the first verse of the Nicki Minaj song of your choice.
-Rachel, like so many theatre kids before her, tried to get the glee kids to refer to the rest of the school as "normies". none of them liked that. it did not catch on and they are better for it
-McKinley High smells like plum sauce and weed. no I will not elaborate
-sometimes when they're bored (bc it's a small town) the gang will get into their cars together and go look for the stupidest Ohio shit they can find. like the horrible deer statues in Columbus or the HELL IS REAL sign
-whenever the gang is at the Hudmel House they always wind up on the kitchen floor at some point. "what are they doing?" probably cuddling or singing terribly idk man tile is just fun and good things happen in the kitchen
#rae's headcanons#glee#glee headcanons#textpost#long post#new directions#tina cohen chang#sam evans#hudmels#rae talks#i will not be elaborating on any of these#i know theyre ridiculously niche. i just compile them. i know they are true my brain told me#noah puckerman#artie abrams#finn hudson#mike chang#kurt hummel
