#lol good luck finding all of the photoshopped versions in the rb history. ‘manatee restored’ is still my favorite of all time #misc #I encourage anyone dyslexic to try rotating him in your mind. I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

I’m being so dramatic about a pair of pants right now

#and like I’m trying not to be #I got a new pair of pants for work last Saturday and they were like perfect #they were very comfortable and I felt like confident in them #like I thought I looked good #and a couple of coworkers even complimented them #because it’s harder for some of us to find pants so it’s awesome when one of us gets like the perfect pair yk #anyway I did laundry today #first time washing these pants #they r regular work pants and have no special instructions #post wash and fry I’m trying to pin them so I can hem them #they are like just barely too long #and I put them on and like the zipper would not go up #and like they weren’t too tight or anything like they were pretty loose for being freshly washed #and it would move past like the first inch but I finally got it and almost immediately the zipper split #so then I’m stuck in the pants #had to like pull it apart #which cause the teeth to brake #so now there def no chance of being able to wear them tomorrow #which I have other pants I just wanted to wear these because I didn’t have to fight with them and they are so comfy #and like I’ve been down in the dumps and they made me feel good about myself unlike my other pants #and nowni can’t wear them #and like there’s bigger problems in the world and at the end of the day it’s not that big of a deal #but I’m like losing my shit over it and being too dramatic about it #and I feel silly about it because I have other pants it’s not like it’s my only pair #I’m mad because I can’t wear them and my other pants don’t make me feel good and r nowhere near as comfy #also I just bought these!#so I’ve now wasted my money on a pair of pants #my friend has the same pair and they didn’t do this to her so I just have bad luck with them I guess #I don’t know I’m just trying to not be dramatic and it’s not working #sam speaks into the mcfuckin void

every time I say “starting nooooow I won’t have any major expenses” something HAPPENS! there’s raw sewage backing up from my drains, and apparently the plumbers will need to break the floor and the wall to get to the pipes and fix it.

if the cat stuff hadn’t wiped out my bank account, this would be annoying but manageable. as it is…..I’m going to try to get everything up in the store for Friday.

#it’s hard because I’m trying not to push myself too hard with mono #the nerve damage stuff is scary #so I’m doing my best to have a zen attitude about all these goings on #but like another surprise 3.5k expense?? how is anyone supposed to live in this world?#there will reach a point where I’m forced to sell this house.#because I don’t know how much longer I can do this all #sorry to be nothing but complaints recently. but things have been hard!

We also know that Danny ‘is LITERALLY a ghost’ Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.

All I’m saying is, Danny Fenton (or Phantom, if you’d really like) would absolutely SLAM into Batman on accident while running on roof tops and Bruce ‘Brooding Instinct’ Wayne doesn’t even think twice about letting the kid hide and scanning around for danger before there’s a record scratch of ‘wait who tf is this?’ kicks in.
