bachira has many, many insecurities. growing up isolated and without many friends, he is more possessive of those he’s close to, which obviously includes you. he just doesn’t want to lose you, which manifests itself in jealousy over anyone he perceives as a threat to your relationship

bachira gets really clingy when he’s jealous. he thinks that inserting himself into the situation, sometimes literally wedging himself between you and the other person. he usually chooses to drape himself over you, nuzzling into your neck and speaking low enough that only you hear, trying his best to divert your attention. third-wheeling is pretty uncomfortable for the other person, especially with the smiling sneer bachira’s shooting at them, so they make a quick irish exit 

itoshi rin ✶

an egoist to his very core, rin can get very jealous. while he’s very sure of himself in nearly every other part of his life, he knows that he is not an ideal partner a lot of the time, though he’ll never admit it. he’s not the most expressive or the most patient, and he’s sure that there are better partners for you out there. 

when rin’s jealous, it’s a silent but deadly thing. like when he’s locked in on the ball in a game, his focus you and his ‘competitor’ is unwavering. he stalks over to stand behind you, his chest bumping right up against your back, and he snarls, “what the hell do you want, you mediocrity?” usually the other person backs off after seeing rin’s bone-chilling glare but if they’re bold enough to answer back, rin bares his teeth and is poised to strike. it’s probably best if you diffuse the situation quickly before it gets uglier  

mikage reo ✶

we already know how jealous reo was over nagi so it’s safe to say that he’s definitely very jealous. having been bored with the world and other people for so long, he’s thrilled when you two get together. it makes his very protective of you and he wants to be one of the most, if not the most, special person in your life. 

reo can go a couple of ways when he feels jealous over someone else but it think his primary response is to tear down the person methodically. he tilts his head a little, looks the person up and down, and notes everything about their appearance — hair, skin, clothes (including brand and cost) and criticizes every little thing. it’s a strategic move in his opinion, using observational skills and knowledge he had given his upbringing to pick apart the other person. he also might make some underhanded comment that includes that he has a black card 

less jealous: isagi, kunigami, sae 

isagi yoichi ✶

he definitely gets jealous from time to time but he doesn’t feel the need to act on it a lot. he’s pretty mature and for the most part level-headed (plus his ability to piece together future events helps him keep his cool a lot). this doesn’t mean that he isn’t jealous 

when isagi is jealous, he’s sulky. he won’t take immediate action and watch from afar, arms crossed and a little pouty. he tries to look as dejected and as ‘wet-cat pathetic’ as possible to make you feel bad and come over to comfort him. when you inevitably do, looping your arm through his and kissing his cheek, he can’t help but smirk at the other person like a cat who go the cream 

kunigami rensuke ✶

i debated where to put kunigami since there are ‘two sides’ to him — pre- and post-wildcard. pre-wild card kunigami is definitely a lot less bothered; he trusts you 100% and is 100% confident and secure in your relationship and himself. post-wild card kunigami is less chill and more forceful. he’s not a hero anymore but even as he plays a more ‘villainous’ role in soccer, he won’t cross that line in your relationship. he’s still very secure in you and himself, but he’s more protective of your relationship. definitely a ‘i trust you/us but it’s other people i’m worried about’ kind of guy

when pre-wild card kunigami got jealous, he won’t act in the moment and will talk to you about it afterwards, in a private setting. open lines of communication were important to him and working out problems like this. post-wildcard kunigami is all stormy looks and intimidation. like rin, he also stands behind you but in less actively aggressive way and more just to be threatening. it’s 95% effective and the 5% of times it doesn’t work, kunigami is not above muscling the other person away 

itoshi sae ✶

i thought about putting sae in the ‘most jealous’ section but i just think that he is someone whose jealousy simmer just beneath his apathetic surface. he sees most other people as beneath him and believes that they are not worthy of speaking to you, let alone hitting on you, but because he’s sees them as so beneath him, he can’t be bothered half the time to do anything since they’re simply not worth it. he gets the most jealous when it’s people who he can potentially view as equals, like other professional athletes 

when he’s jealous, sae literally just pretends they don’t exist, only talking to you. if the other person tries to interject, he sends them a sideways glare — the only acknowledgment of their existence — and then turns away to continue whatever conversation, suggesting that you both get away from the other person as quickly as possible. if ignoring the person doesn’t work, sae doesn’t shy away from spewing vitriol at the other person

least jealous: nagi, oliver, michael

nagi seishiro ✶

simply put, being jealous is a hassle to nagi. it makes him too hot and too annoyed for him to want to feel it so he suppresses the feeling a lot. nagi’s height is already intimidating enough for most people so they don’t approach you when they see you two together but that isn’t a deterrent to everyone

when nagi gets jealous, he does one of two things: just gives a thousand-yard stare that freaks people out or he gets whiny and clingy. his stare is eerie and silent, and the lightness of his eyes doesn’t help it. he towers over you like some cryptid companion. when he gets whiny and clingy, nagi tugs at your sleeve and asks drily, “can we go yet? why are you still talking to them?”

oliver aiku ✶

sigh… oliver is undoubtedly someone who thinks and knows he’s the shit. with so many women and men alike fawning over everything about him, his ego is through the roof. he has very little worry about you leaving him for someone else. honestly, he finds it amusing most of the time when someone attempt to draw you away from him, and let’s it play out a lot for his own entertainment. of course, he’ll intervene if it’s making you uncomfortable but he also believes you can handle yourself 

when oliver gets jealous, he acts as casual as possible. he’s friendly towards the other person and but it’s not hard to uncover that it’s all fake, whether it’s from the glint in his eye or the way his smile is stiff and forced. common tells when he gets jealous is that he pokes his tongue against the inside of his cheek or he clenches his teeth and inhales softly but sharply.  he employs the good old tactic of calling the other person the wrong name and making all kind of underhanded comments that slowly chip at their nerves. (“haruya? haruki? oh! you’re haruto! right, right, you know, they’ve never mentioned you before! crazy, huh?”) 

michael kaiser ✶

kaiser in german literally means ‘emperor,’ and it’s no secret that kaiser views himself as one. similar to sae, he see himself as so above others that he’s not even bothered by other people hitting on you. it displeases him greatly, sure, but these cockroaches will never be able to steal you from him so why should an emperor deal with the plebians? the only time that ever happens is when a peasant is particularly forceful and then, kaiser intervenes

Kunigami Rensuke was a hero before he became yours.

He always believed in goodness, helping everyone else, and acting like a big brother to those who needed his guidance. It's no wonder his morals bleed through his play on the field. To win each game fair and square while he showcases his skills. Watching how he turned into a knight in shining armor every time he stepped onto the field, defending his team from the enemy and scoring his goals was mesmerizing.

So, when he was invited to the Blue Lock Program, you weren't so surprised.

"How long will you be there?" you asked him once while you were on his bed, watching him go back and forth around his room, packing a small duffle bag of the things he might need in the facility. That was enough to break you. You embraced him, crying and grateful that your hero had returned. "You're back," you sobbed softly, "my Rensuke, you're back to me." You felt him lift his hands, but instead of embracing you, he gripped your shoulders and pulled you away from him. "Y/n," he spoke, his voice ragged but soft, "I'm not entirely back."

"W-what do you mean?" you asked, your teary eyes, wide and confused, looking up to meet his dull orange eyes. This was the first time you've seen him so lifeless. What the hell happened?

"I'm not the Rensuke you once knew. That version of me is gone."

"What?"

"I'm not the hero I promised you to be."

"What... I-I don't understand. What happened, my love?"

Rensuke looked at you with a slight hint of vulnerability. He must not show weakness. It was drilled into him that he'll be ruthless, he'll become irrational if it means becoming the best that the world will see. But with the sight of you, it felt impossible. "They... changed me. I'm not the hero we both envisioned to be. I... I had to become cruel and let go of my beliefs... The Rensuke you fell for because he believed in doing the right thing fair and square is dead.

"That's why I decided you can no longer love me, Y/n. Because I can't."

Isagi: Back when he was younger, he had a phase where he would do the dab whenever he scored a goal. It could be completely outdated too and people would cringe at him LMAO. Might’ve also done fortnite dance (he doesn’t even play fortnite). His teammates try to go over and celebrate but he randomly breaks into the orange justice (he can’t even do it properly) so they end up just standing there like 🧍. Let him have his moment I guess???

Bachira: He was one of those kids that played with insects outside or something (speaking from experience) 😭. You’d catch him playing outside and there were 3 worms, each with different names. He probably gave them sad backstories too. The neighbors thought he was weird as hell. If someone pointed it out, he’d be like “Stop being rude to them! They’re my friends!” And he’d actually look pissed off, exactly like this emoji 😠. If he comes back to the same spot only to find that they aren’t there, he’ll come home crying 😭 🙏 Please help him.

Chigiri: He’s canonically a moody guy…I feel like he ‘decides’ his mood for the day ykyk 😭. If it’s a clear sky, sunny day, he’ll choose to be happy but if he wakes up and it’s raining, he decides that he’s gonna be angry. Always ends up breaking character though. If he's laughing and suddenly remembers that he's supposed to be angry, he’ll immediately put on a blank expression again like 😐 and the people around him think they did something wrong LMAOO. Like??? What happened bro???

Kunigami: His go-to pose for photos is the thumbs up or the peace sign and HE LOOKS SO STIFF. He’s just there like 🙂 ✌️. He looks so awkward pls 😭. His little sister is trying so hard not to laugh and he’s just like ???? What's so funny?? If he’s accidentally photo-bombing and realises too late, he’ll strike that EXACT POSE until someone tells him to move cus his brain couldn’t process it ITS SO SAD 😭

Nagi: Once, when he was younger, he tried doing one of those free robux application things where you play a bunch of games for robux and he thought it was legit because some youtuber did it. His parents were like “Seishiro what are you even doing” and he was like “I’m grinding robux mom, you wouldn’t understand” Like Nagi…don’t even get your hopes up 😬. Long story short, it didn’t work and he ended up with some virus on his ipad. He woke his parents up at 3am and was like “um…I think I got hacked ☹️” His parents WERE NOT pleased 😭

Reo: Had a little rebellious phase where he only used cringey Gen Z slang. In front of his parents too and they’d stare at him like 😨. “Zamn ngl this food is bussin’ fr goated no cap,” said young Reo, at a luxurious 5-star restaurant. His mom almost choked on her food. Probably got side-eyed by the waiter too. He didn’t even realise that it wasn’t cool until he found out that NOBODY actually says all that 😭.

Barou: When he’s eating other people's food or eating at a restaurant, he judges it like he’s Gordan Ramsey or something??? Imagine he’s at someone's house for dinner and then when they’re eating he has this whole routine. First he sniffs, feels the texture, then he examines with his eyes, and finally starts eating. You’ll tell if he likes it or not from his expressions 💀 He’ll start interrogating too LMAO. He’d be like “What kind of spice is this?” “How much salt did you add?” HE’S NOT PLAYING YALL.

Rin: Took elementary dodgeball SERIOUSLY. He’d yell at his teammates. Losing? Not on his watch. “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?! IT’S DODGE BALL NOT GET HIT IN THE FACE BALL YOU LOSER!”. If he ever lost a game in PE, he’d start crying and throwing a fit, all while blaming his teammates. He would act like an angel if Sae was there though LMAO.

Hiori: He tries to re-enact cool moves from video games. Like if there's a character that has a cool playstyle he’ll literally hop out of his gaming chair just to swing a spatula around 😭. He got the sound effects goin on too, you can hear little pews and booms. Or if there’s a specific voice line from the final boss that he thinks sounds cool he’ll say it out loud (sometimes his parents hear and they think that he’s lost it not that they care though.)

Karasu: He had a huge chess.com phase, probably in middle school. But he was that one kid that goes ‘I wasn’t even trying tho lol’ when he lost (behind the screen he is SCREAMING in rage). ALSO He’s the type to be super expressive (kinda like Barou) 😭. You’ll know when he’s judging you cus’ his face will go 😬 😲 ☹️ 😧 🤔 in that order 💀. He could say something but his expressions reveal all there is.

Yukimiya: When he first got his glasses, he probably forgot them a lot LOL. Like he’d show up to football practice without them and one of his teammates would go “Yo where’s your glasses, Yukki?” and he’d be like…oh yeah. There was probably one point where he thought his eyesight was getting better. He woke up one morning and just decided that he suddenly felt like he had good vision again. It was all in his head 💀.

Otoya: He once tried hitting on a girl when her boyfriend WAS RIGHT THERE and he didn’t even notice. Let’s just say he ran for his life. His older sister has a video recording of it and uses it as blackmail. Worst of all he genuinely thought he could've ‘stolen’ her from him 😭 LIKE OTOYA NO. 😭

Your mother yells as you held your boyfriends hand while rushing to the front door. You can’t believe the words that have come from your mothers mouth, especially in front of your partner! you’re completely embarrassed and distraught at her words that you’ve picked dup your things and dragged your boyfriend to the front door to leave. You love them with your whole heart  and have known them since before they went into blue lock and could never see them do anything that your mother has said.

Isagi quickly wraps you up in a hug, whispering to you “ its okay sweetheart you have nothing to apologise for… and just like you said we will prove them wrong” He slowly moves to cup your face in his hands, gently wiping whatever tears you have on your face. 

“We will make this work. I don’t care if I’m hundreds or thousands miles away for a game. We will make it work because you are my everything y/n, I couldn’t care less what they have to say and ill spend all my life proving them wrong if I have to because I love you and not anyone else… okay?” 

You bring Isagi back into a tight hug before you cry a little more, butt his time out of relief at the words your beloved just said. After you have calmed down you let go and sit comfortably into your seat, Isagi doing the same with one hand on the steering wheel and the other gently rubbing your thigh for comfort he speaks up again 

“How about we quickly go to the store for ice cream and then head home to watch some movies okay?” He looks at you with a gentle smile before starting the car and going off towards the nearest grocery store. You nod your head at him  with a smile before watching you slowly move away from your parents house feeling confident in the love that Isagi has for you and only you<3

Bachira holds both of your hands in his and kisses your knuckles very gently. He knows now is not the time to play games or joke around after what just happened. He is upset and irritated that he couldn’t get your parents to approve of him but he can’t help but feel delighted that you chose to stick with him even after your parents explain their disapproval of him.

He moves your chin with his finger to get you to look at him before saying “ill forever be yours y/n, your boyfriend, your monster, whatever you want me to be I’m here… there is no one in this world that I would chose before you. You’re the one person who truely understood and stayed by me and ill always be that for you, no matter where I am in the world… I’ll always come back home to you.” 

He sees you smile and relax at his words which makes him do the same. He quickly grabs your face to give you a quick kiss on your nose, making you laugh which in turn makes him grin. Knowing you’re feeling better he sits back in the drivers seat before speaking up again  

“its also nice to know that you’ll fight for me, how such a loving partner I think ill swoooooon~” he giggles as he jokes with you which then makes you giggle before you slap his arm “ ill always fight for you my love” you respond, taking hold of his as he drives away.

Chigiri Hoyma 

Chigiri is shocked to say the least at your parents behaviour, he could never imagine his own mother or sister that way towards you so the fact that you have to deal with it breaks his heart. 

He knew he had to get you out of here before it caused you any more distress so he quickly grabs your hand and turns on the car, he doesn’t tell you where he is going but you’re thankful that he’s quick to get you out of there as you couldn’t bare to look at the house that’s now no longer yours to call home. 

It was not long before he found a park to stop the car at. Quickly parking he gets out of the car and comes around to open the door for you, holding his hand out to you to get you out before taking off his jacket to give to you. 

He then leads you to a park bench to sit down before saying “ I’m sorry that this happened my love. I hope what your mother said didn’t put you to have any distrust on me because I couldn’t think of anyone id rather spend my whole life with.. you’re my love and I want you to know that no matter where or what I am doing ill always come running to you if you ask. I don’t care if I’m all the way in Spain, if you asked I’ll come home at a drop of a hat because you are my world and the only thing that matters, soccer will forever come second when it comes to you, because everything I do is so I can see your pretty smile okay? So you don’t have to worry about me because my eyes are only for you<3” He finishes saying nearly out of breath which makes you laugh.

Hearing you laugh makes Chigiri smile brightly, knowing he is the one that caused the delighted sound that he loves dearly. “ Thank you Hyo, it means the world to me what you’ve said” you respond with a small smile which in turn makes chigiri engulf you in a tight embrace 

“ Anytime my dear, you know that I would give you the entire world and more if you so dare wished.. so let’s forget about what’s happened and go out for dinner hm?” He responds as he kisses your forehead gently while reminding himself how lucky he is <3

But knew that you would rather leave the house and not come back so he turned the car on and went to the closest car park, as long as it was away from your parents house Kunigami didn’t care he just wanted you to be okay 

As soon as he parked and stopped the car, he turned to you and spoke ��baby you have nothing to apologise for. You weren’t controlling your parents words so I hold no grudge against you but please understand this that I’m gonna be with you no matter what, you mean so much more to me than soccer and I could not care less that your parents think. You make my life so much better just by being in it and I don’t want to spend my life with anyone else, you got that?” He holds you tight to him almost like he is afraid that you’ll disappear

You reciprocated his hug and whisper thank you’s and I love you’s to each other until you’ve calmed down enough and felt better than before. Kunigami smiles before speaking up again “ now let’s not ruin this night, let’s do whatever you want. No matter what it is we will do it because I hate to see my sweet girl so down” you light up at his words which makes him grin and the sight, he loves nothing more than seeing you smile<3

Realistically Michael couldn’t care for your parents approval however the fact that you cared at all meant enough to him to support you, and now he’s pissed that your mother could break your heart like that.

“ You don’t need to apologise sweetheart, I don’t care what your mother said, im here for you and only you. She can think all those horrible things all she likes I couldn’t care less. Im more pissed off that she made you cry, so please stop crying sweetheart it’s okay, you’ve got nothing to worry about.” Michael says as he pulls your face into his chest, never wanting to let go.<3

“ And besides… she doest know that I’m only obsessed with you. I couldn’t give a fuck about any other low lives around us. It’s me and you against the world remember?” He continues as he puts small kisses on your head, he hums and whispers to you “ so no more of this crying and apology shit, im always gonna be by your side… now lets get out of here okay? Reo pulls away and brings you in for a kiss, surprised by the sudden movement you stop crying and accept the kiss. He takes this time to wipe away your tears before pulling away and saying “ you’re okay, everything’s alright now prince/ss, don’t stress your pretty head I’m not going anywhere” 

You relax a bit after hearing his words, still hugging his chest you thank him by giving him another quick kiss before pulling away to sit back in your own chair which in turn makes him pull you even closer 

“What makes you think I am ever gonna let you go doll? Stay cuddling with me and I’ll prove to you, to your parents and the whole world that you’re the only wo/man I want by my side. You’re my muse and don’t you ever forget that, so let me prove it to you now” he says as he pulls you out of the car and into your new home together<3

Nagi was left pretty much dumb founded at the whole situation, he didn’t speak much to your parents so he didn’t really know why your parents disapproved of him but nevertheless he held your hand the whole way home telling you to stop apologising. As soon as Nagi parked infant of his house he quickly gets out and opens your car door to let you out.

He brings you both inside and into his room. “Here lets forget about what they said because to be honest I don’t care about it, its really bothersome you know…” 

He guides you to the bed before smothering you with his whole body making you smile before trying to push him off so you can BREATHE “Cmon seiiii let me at least change clothessss…” you say trying you’re absolute HARDEST to get this man off you “but that’s so much work y/nnn, just come cuddle with me and play games...” He mumbles back, holding you even tighter. 

He then looks up at you before talking again “ I hope your not worried about me from what your mother said… you’re the only person I like spending all my time with.. you make everything less boring and irritating… I love you sweets.. plus you’re not a nag like Reo…”  

You smile back at his words, racipucating his cuddle before replying “ Thank you sei, I love you too” <3

Rin is very good at hiding his emotions around you, he never wants you to see him upset or pissed off especially right now. To make their own child cry and abandoned them makes Rin enraged to say the least, he knows the feeling of abandonment because of his brother so he at least knows a little bit as to what you’re feeling but to be your parents it was the least he expected 

Rin starts the car and drives away from the house, you know he isn’t much of a talker nor someone who’s good at consoling another person so you didn’t mind the quiet car ride, the only noise Is the radio and the rain falling onto the windshield. After what almost felt like an eternity, Rin quickly gets out the umbrella from the back seat and speed walks to your car door, opening it for you and leading you to the house before stopping at the front door step where he turns around to face you before speaking

“ I know im not great at this consoling thing but… I would never abandon you for some other lukewarm degenerate.. youre the only person that makes anything outside of soccer worth it… so youll always be my number one priority, even if I don’t show you that sometimes .. so stop crying ok?” He mumbles to you but it was enough for you to hear

You smile at him and bring him into a tight hug, which he accepts instantly. “Thank you Rin.. you’ll always be my number one too… I love you” you respond to him with a smile which causes him to be flustered and mumble back an ‘I love you too’  before opening the front door into your new shared home<3

Like his younger brother he is very good and hiding his emotions from you and everyone around him as he thinks it is an annoyance however this time he can’t help looking concerned at your crying figuring trying to apologise to him that was clearly not your fault.

“ Don’t be stupid y/n you didn’t cause that argument, she did. So quit your apologising and let’s get out of here okay? I’ll treat you to some ice cream on our way back home…” he says trying to be as comforting as he can but again like his brother he isn’t that great at consoling. But you knew that and what he was doing now was more than okay cause you know he is trying by the way he looks at you with deep concern. 

You nod your head and stayed quiet as he turned on the engine and quickly sped off to the nearest ice cream store. Once he parked he quickly told you to stay in the car whilst he went to get the ice cream. While waiting you see him come out of the store with over several cups of ice cream in his hands, looking very focused to not drop a single once. Laughing yet confused at what you’re looking at you quickly jump out of the car to help him out

“ Saeeee Jesus! Why did you buy so many?” You continue to laugh as you both walk to the car, hands filled with ice cream “ I didn’t know which one you liked the best since you like all these flavours so I bought all of them! I didn’t realise that ice cream would be so expensive” he huffs in response. You smile at him before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek as a thank you, Then as you start to walk to the car you hear him drop the ice cream on the floor and spin you around, pulling you into another kiss, this time its soft yet passionate. It felt like years have gone by, by the time you two pull away he then speaks up with a soft smile on his face “I think after all this heavy lifting of ice cream I deserved a bigger kiss don’t you think?” He grins as he sees you laugh 

“ I mean sure but you did end up dropping like 5 of them just now” you respond pointing at the now melted ice cream on the car park floor. Sae’s face drops as he turns around to look at what he’s done “ AH FUCKING SHIT-“

Mans does not have a car he’s got a motorcycle and no one can tell me different. For Barou’s scenario just think that you walked to his bike instead of getting into a car <3)

Barou quickly shuts you up by hugging you tightly into his chest, telling you to shut up and calm down whilst he strokes you hair waiting for your breathing to slow down and thinking carefully about what to say next as he doesn’t want to upset you more than you already are. Once he feel you’re breathing has started to slow down he will slowly pull away and look down at you before speaking up 

“I don’t know what your parents problem is with me but I know damn straight they know nothing about me. You’re my partner and that’s that. Im not looking for anyone different because everyone else is a peasant compared to you, you’re mine and everyone else better fucking know it.. so don’t apologise for someone else’s behaviour, even if they are your parents. They’re fucking stupid to think id ever do something as dumb as leaving or cheating on you. All im focused on is becoming the king of soccer and making you happy, that’s all there is to care about. So quit your whining and let’s get out of this dump” he looks away from you bit flustered as to what he just said.

You know that Barou is just a softy at heart when it comes to you so you smile at his (sorta??) kind words towards you. You grab him by the collar of his shirt and pull him down to give him a kiss on the cheek before replying

You know Ryusei knows how to make you smile and laugh even in your worst moments. If we were to see the recent chapters of Blue Lock, then you can kind of sense that the storyline is getting Kunigami-focused which means that we are getting near the moment where the Wildcard backstory is going to be revealed. It makes the most sense to reveal it now, during NEL, especially when the Hero is battling his main villain, Shidou Ryusei.

I don't know about you, but for me, it'll feel out of place if the Wildcard backstory were to be revealed other than what is currently going on—it's is the perfect time!

That's why, I was thinking about it and went back to one of my theories that I had posted a while ago, and I realised something:

It's tough to say who is who but the top most silhouette low-key looks like Noa and the bottom most looks like Snuffy. The flags in descending order: France/Italy, Spain, Brazil, England, I don't know.

In present day, we have: Germany, Spain, England, Italy and France.

The above panel is from chapter 40 and the NEL starts about 150-ish chapter, so with 100+ chapter difference, some changes are bound of happen anyway.

Now!

Here comes the main focus of this post:

If you have read/remember my previous post regarding the Wildcard, then you might also remember that I had said that NEL wasn't planned.

BUT!

If we were to focus on Ego's words, then we can low-key conclude that NEL was supposed to happen, but in a very, very smaller scale compared to what we have right now.

And if we were to accept what I said above as the absolute truth, then it jumbles everything even more, you know.

Ego proposed the U-20 match during the timeline of Second Selection, so it means he had some time to think about the future. Then does it mean that he already visioned that BLLK Vs U-20 was going to be a massive hit? And when that happens, funds were going to pour in like waterfall and since JFU is money hungry, then they'd go in flow of whatever Ego says—did he see all of that?

What I said above doesn't sound much farfetched considering how intelligent Ego actually is.

To think that Ego made up the Wildcard after the U-20 match was scheduled makes more sense if we were to take into account that when the Blue Lock Man (Hologram Goalkeeper) was introduced, Anri complained that the funds are getting low. So, to run another program side by side seems quite tough.

I think Wildcard got more to do with Ego than Kunigami. The whole Wildcard thing feels like Ego's own selfish wish and Kunigami just, unluckily or luckily, happened to be the most suitable player for him.

The above thing makes more sense when we think about this:

If we dwell deeper into his words, then we get a deduction: Placing Kunigami in Bastard München was Ego's own choice not the former's. It seems like an indirect jab to Noa that, "Look! I created this dark horse, he is borne out of my ideal. I did it with my ideals, and he'll crush you."

You getting me?

Wildcard feels more like Ego's personal experiment rather than just a second chance to players who lost.

Bllk Season 2 Episode 14 Review

I’m back~

Rin stealing the ball was funny asf for some reason idk. I’m thinking one of these guys bout to get in the way— Sae, Aiku, Shidou, Sendou, or Isagi. I was wrong cause it was Neru who first got to him[technically not cause he got past him like it was nothing]

Sae finally started realizing his brother is a problem. So Rin’s now entering his ‘flow’ state. If the main character doesn’t become the best striker in the world, I think Rin will. Now, maybe it’s just bc I’m not into sports like that but I really don’t think ‘I’ll kill kill kill you’ is an okay mindset to be having, like this mf my be a psychopath…

Yukimiya said Rin’s flow was the exact opposite of Sae’s ‘Beautiful Destruction’ but I also see it as the exact opposite of Isagi’s type of play— because we always see him making plays while using others to make them score goals— while Rin is all on his own in the field[even though he did pass, he ofc knew it had to come right back to him] and he continued on his rampage.

Why is his tongue out? Cause he’s super focused or something but… he just looks kinda like a dog. Literally this 🐶 emoji.

He got past the 4 walls like it was nothing. Got Aiku’s whole system malfunctioning. But, here comes Shidou. ‘Licky Rin’ lmao. And they just barely stopped him. You don’t know how mad I was when it hit the side of the goal!!

And with only 1 minute of additional time the ball goes to Itoshi mf Sae. So now I guess it’s a final stand off between brothers, still dk how they’re gonna make this work. But, miracles do happen.

Again, maybe it’s just bc I don’t care about sports. But is it that serious? Like, he’s not gonna die. Life goes on. He’ll be okay even if he does lose[which I think he won’t cause I’m delusional. Plus it’s like 15 minutes left in the episode at this point]

But, back to the review. He’s awakening even more, and now his tongue is bigger. Whatever that means.

That is NOT the same face you remembered. And they but their entire budget into that last face off scene. I can tell bc it wasn’t shaded or highlights in their colors. And their hair was moving. But literally everyone else when they popped up on the screen had that.

That last goal, made by Isagi got everyone hype. Even the ones who was hating from the beginning. And I was right all along. 1 minute left and Isagi made the final score. But shout out to Rin cause he’s the only reason why. Even Sae who never cared about anything made a face of surprise.

Stg the Itoshi brothers don’t know how to have a proper heart felt moment cause why he just made Rin hope like that and then crushed his heart in the same sentence. They really need to talk it out cs it’s getting out of hand.

I like how everyone ran at Isagi but Reo was worried about Nagi when he fell.

Final Thoughts

I like that Isagi is starting to think about himself— correcting it to ‘I will lead U-20 to the world cup’. Rin still upset about what?? Like omfg always gotta be a downer. But on the bright side he did acknowledge Isagi fully as a rival. Kunigami coming back. YAAAAYY!!!

I’m ready for season 3 and to see Neo Egoist League. Maybe Karasu will get more screen time. Also finally get to see Kaiser, got spoiled on him before I even watched the anime so I know some things.

Also, Congrats to Shidou for finally getting Sae’s number🥳

takagi & uchiyama forbidden romance fic: takagi and uchiyama are two bsd (bungo stray dogs) ocs i created—takagi is a famous actor and model with the ability to shapeshift, and uchiyama is a detective working with the ada with the ability to slow time down to dodge objects/danger. this fic would lean a bit more forbidden romance/doomed yaoi, as they both have quite a bit of pent up trauma that (hopefully) will make their dynamic unique and heart-wrenching.

Rin hates weddings.

Maybe just this one.

On this lovely day, everyone celebrated the wedding of Itoshi Sae.... and Shidou Ryusei. It seems they never fell apart after the whole thing they did during the U-20 match. As it turns out, Shidou got Sae's number, and every day he'd message the older Itoshi. Sometimes he'd get a cold reply, sometimes it's radio silent.

Confirmation of the two seeing each other was solidified when Sae bought a house far from the city and Shidou moved in a few days later. Maybe that's when Rin finally accepted, rather tolerated, that his brother and that pink roach are... meant to be together.

Shidou looked tame for once in his life, in a tux and his hair pulled back in a tiny ponytail. Sae looked the same, except for the small smile on his face and the sparkle in his eyes finally back after so many years of being lifeless.

Rin gagged a little as he sat on the round table with the other Blue Lockers, watching a video presentation of the same-day edit the videographer and his team made. It was all too much, Rin thought. He'd do it a little subtler once he gets married. His eyes then wandered to the other table next to his and he saw him.

They didn't speak much during the ceremony. Rin stole glances at him as Shidou and Sae exchanged vows, though he got annoyed at how inappropriate Shidou's vows were and how Sae smiled slightly at those. Rin still couldn't wrap his mind around the idea that his brother liked being cuffed.

Isagi, with his hair parted on the side and slicked back (Rin preferred it that way now), was seated between Bachira, who was tearing up while watching the video and clutching onto Isagi's sleeve, and Chigiri, who was busy filming the whole thing for Kunigami. The big guy never bothered to attend after the shit he got from Shidou. Isagi looked love-struck for some reason. Was he imagining his wedding too? Rin would like to think so because Isagi's a softie like that. It's one thing Rin admires about him. Despite how much of an egoist he became, he's still softhearted off the field.

The celebration went on until the host requested the newlyweds to have their first dance on the dance floor. Shidou, being extra as he is, spun Sae a few times before pulling him closer, his arms slithering around Sae's waist. It's still mind-boggling to see Sae smile at Shidou. Rin had never seen his brother smile since that night on the field, so he wasn't sure if he still experienced happiness. But seeing him on the dance floor, swaying with Shidou, Rin knew Sae was happy.

Shidou rested his forehead against Sae's, whispering something to him which earned another smile. Rin sees Sae respond, hushed conversations under the music and the eyes of their guests. It was almost romantic... if it wasn't them up there.

After a few more sways, the host invited everyone to join them on the dance floor. A few people stood up from their seats and joined Shidou and Sae, congratulating them before getting together with their dance partners. Rin felt like this was his chance, an opportunity he might never get. Because after this event, after this whole little reunion, he'll never see Isagi again. Isagi would fly back to Germany, and he'd be back in France. Sure, Rin could visit Isagi by plane or train or car or whatever, but this exact moment is what he's been waiting for.

So, with a huff, he stood up from his chair and walked towards Isagi's table. Isagi was reclining back in his seat while in a conversation with Chigiri. God, he was beautiful. It was a little too late when Rin realized that. Isagi already left for Germany after their time in Blue Lock. He felt like a total dumbass not saying something before they all left the facility. But thank God for Shidou and Sae, they got everyone together, even those who were in the NEL. He can feel his heart thump! thump! thumping against his chest as he reached his seat, standing there stiffly as he heard the hum of Isagi's voice.

If it weren't for Bachira, Isagi wouldn't have turned around to see Rin there, staring at him with his ever-bored teal eyes. "Rin-chan," Bachira piped, "you here for Isagi?" he teased as he pushed Isagi off of his seat. Isagi laughed and protested but was now standing up, running his hand over his tux to neat them up. "Yes," Rin replied. He then held his hand out for Isagi, his eyes looking straight at Isagi's deep blues. "Would you like to dance?" Rin asked. Isagi's eyes widened, and then he turned to Bachira as if asking "You heard that, right?" Bachira's eyes shifted between Rin and Isagi and smiled confirming that yes, they heard it right.

Isagi took Rin's hand and Rin led him to the dance floor. He didn't notice the way Shidou smirked his way, didn't notice the smiles from his former teammates. All he focused on was Isagi under the lights, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. They stood there awkwardly, Isagi's hand still in Rin's. Rin noticed the shift on Isagi's face, his curiosity now turning into a frown.

"I don't know how to dance," Rin silently confessed with a sigh to explain why he was just standing. "You asked me to dance but you don't know how?" Isagi replied, his voice teasing. Isagi pulled Rin's hand and placed it on his waist, and then Isagi rested his hands on his chest. "I'll teach you then."

Isagi then started to sway, and Rin followed his lead. Rin then tightened his arm around Isagi, pulling him closer. He didn't sense any objections from Isagi, which was a good sign. He felt Isagi's arms wrapping loosely around his shoulders, and it made everything better.

Isagi drowned everything around them... at least that's how Rin felt.

Right now, it was just them on the dance floor. No one else in the room, just them, holding each other close. The taller boy leaned to rest his forehead against Isagi's, closing his eyes to relish the moment he knows will be replaying in his mind forever. "Rin?"

Isagi's gentle voice pulled him back to reality, teal meeting deep blue. "Are you okay?" He asked. Rin breathed and nodded. "I just... missed you."

"Really? The great Itoshi Rin misses me, his rival?"

"Believe it or not, yes. I missed you and your smart mouth," Rin replied, rolling his eyes at Isagi.

Isagi scoffed and smirked up at him. "Is that why you're holding me like this?"

"Yes," Rin replied.

Isagi took a breath before he spoke, and Rin stopped him by speaking first. "I missed seeing your stupid face every single day because, in Blue Lock, we only see each other. I missed your smart remarks and insults because they pushed me to at least be a little better than you. I missed the way you subtly showed you care, at least, and I hated how I resented you and thought you were pitying me. But thinking about it now, I'd rather have you around than be apart.

"I can't believe I missed you. Seeing you here now made me feel... feel complete. I know it's because my good-for-nothing brother got married to the worst person I've met in the facility, but it made me think that if I don't take my chance, I'd lose you forever."

Isagi stared up at him, his heart threatening to jump out of his chest with every word that spilled from his lips. Oh, how he longed to hear those from Rin. All this time, Isagi thought they were doomed to be together, forever rivals. But right now, as Rin melts within his arms, he knows that it will get even better.

"Took you long enough, genius," was all Isagi said to which Rin scoffed. "At least say something better than that," Rin replied. Isagi smiled and cradled Rin's face in his hands. "I love you, too."
