As much as I love the young justice show it did terrible things for how pretty much all of the characters are now portrayed by the fandom.

okay here's one post i have to make. Finally racism confirmed real in succession. other people have talked about this before but it is a huge blind spot of the show not to acknowledge the intersection between racism and capitalism, and the excuse that the characters are the 1% and the 1% are vastly white is pretty weak. the fact that the show sidelines its existing characters of color while every now and then broadly gesturing towards race makes this worse, especially as the show more directly focuses on fascism and just Doesn't bring race into it. like i don't even think race is totally absent as a concern of the writers but it's clearly not a priority. i think a lot about how mo's widow is a filipino woman
anyway. ken and rava's conversation in this sense doesn't really qualify as, like, revolutionary in terms of succession's commentary on race esp since it's a discussion between two white parents about their brown daughter without her present. the point of interest to me really is that kendall completely fails to recognize racism as a systemic issue, much less that he works for and is trying to sustain a company that actively works to perpetuate that hegemony. his questions are why was sophie on the street? why wasn't rava there? in the same episode where he calls matsson homophobic for saying the numbers are gay. socially aware king
it's not particularly revelatory to say that a rich white man doesn't grasp the concept of systemic racism LOL but i do think it's more than that for kendall, and i also think this trait is something his siblings don't share. it's like how he doesn't realize he's in a position of power over anna and she was pressured into attending the recny with him, and his adoption of a faux-feminist stance in s3 while continuing to treat women like shit. kendall's whole concept of Everything, including systemic social issues, goes back to logan. there's no system outside of dad. the doj doesn't find the cruises evidence compelling? that's because they're scared of logan. logan's the source of the evil in the world, therefore opposing him is inherently progressive, leaving kendall with even less of a coherent moral framework after his death. and he's completely unable to process the idea that he could be participating in and benefiting from the greater racist or sexist system, because that's fundamentally incompatible with his logan-based idea of his own identity.
i don't think roman or shiv or even connor share this particular nearsightedness. roman 'we do hate speech and roller coasters' roy knows what's going on but he doesn't really care and he doesn't believe it can be changed (or, maybe more accurately, that there's any point in trying). he doesn't buy into fascism on the ideological level, exactly, but the spectacle appeals to him and he does believe it's profitable to align with it, so he's perfectly happy to do so. i think he's the most similar to logan in this regard. and shiv and connor have actual political ideologies, even if they're far from being meaningfully opposed to fascism, which requires a base awareness of the fact that We Live In A Society and That Society Has Systems In It. for kendall it really boils down to logan and logan alone

I think comics have a closer proximity to fanon works than most other forms of canon works (movies, tv, books, podcasts, etc) because of how many possible authors contribute different storylines.
Meaning, while I love Jayroy in fanon, I can completely understand why it wouldn’t work in canon. Too much uneven characterization where Jason’s actions towards the arrowfam aren’t justifiable even if their friendship remains possible. And it’s so easy to imagine crossing lines of canon into fanon since even canon can contradict itself.
So something I undeniably love about Jayroy fanon is how each character is written as someone who believes they just aren’t worth it, and they find someone else who believes basically the same thing about themselves and they’re both wrong.
To simply things in fanon, Roy’s struggles with addiction and Jason’s struggles with violence mean that in their respective narratives, they’re the black sheep of their families.
Roy typically struggles with a sense of self worth, of wanting someone to stick around through the bad and where his headspace actually goes because of addiction. He was one of the first titans and to have so many of your peers succeed (or die) when you’re struggling definitely fucks with you in major ways.
Jason has a complicated relationship with everyone, including himself. The pit made a lot of things worse but his grief over wanting his father to avenge him and thinking his death changed nothing, or his stance on punishing criminals, all of these things separate him out from the batfam’s code of ethics. He is constantly living in the shadow of himself and can’t figure out how to actually move on with his life.
And when these are the characterizations people are working with I love that the narrative is “two people who believe they’re fundamentally broken realize they aren’t and rely on each other until they get better”.
Like, neither of them is asking the other to change. Roy is okay with Jason’s version of justice and Jason sticks around through cravings and meetings. Neither thinks that their families were right about them, that they’re fuck ups beyond hope. Because they don’t have to be.
And so many of the other storylines of superhero’s is that, even if they’re at a low point, or have made mistakes, they can change. They can see the light and reform their actions and become better people and fit into new dynamics if they can’t go back to old ones.
And while a lot of fics will soften Jason’s actions, there are some where Roy still sticks around. And if they change, it’s not because someone demanded it of them in order to be worthy of being loved. It’s because someone who loved them gave them the time and space to figure out who they are and loved them regardless. They didn’t withhold support, they provided it even when the other failed and saw them through to the other side.
And sure, in reality that can be a recipe for toxicity, of people hurting each other over and over by claiming that love should be unconditional in order to justify horrible things, but in comics where magic is real (and sometimes a stand in for PTSD ) and so are aliens and vigilantes and addiction, then the standards for what a person is capable of withstanding, what a relationship is able to withstand, need to have room for grace too.
That the only way people stop suffering is by having support networks. And while in some cases it doesn’t work, in this one, it does.
#jason todd#roy harper#red hood#arsenal#dc universe#jayroy#they love each other because they’re fucked up even tho they’re fucked up#entire families have written them off and they’re still there#all the fics where bruce says he just wants his son back regardless of his actions even if he’s killed but only because he wasn’t in control#and roy accepts him anyways doesn’t care about killing has killed himself there’s no standard jason has to live up to#and for roy who keeps being left behind or isn’t prioritized to have someone stay and care even when it’s hard#jason went through it with catherine and he’ll do it for roy too it’s the most he’s capable of doing for the ones he loves#they’re so fucked up and bad for others but good for each other because what would hurt someone else is exactly what they need

how do these pannels make you feel. they make me feel sad
Hi anon!
For context these are the panels Anon sent me-
For starters, it's totally understandable that these panels make you feel sad! That's clearly what they were written to do.
However.
I can't take it seriously because it's RUDY WEST. Rudy West is not comparable to Oliver Queen! Rudy West is absolutely not a better father than Ollie!
I mean, aside from the fact that it's pretty hard to be a worse father than Rudy West and Roy would absolutely not be "a better person" if he was raised by the Wests, like. Ollie and Roy didn't have that much of a bad relationship when Roy was a teenager. Obviously Snowbirds happened and that changed their dynamic and created a whole lot of tension they had to work through, but this is clearly pre-Snowbirds, and since Ollie still has money+Queen Industries it's also presumably pre-Hard Traveling Heroes, which is where the idea of Ollie not being around stems from. Was there conflict? Sure! But not to the extent that the Teen Titans would be blaming Ollie for how Roy is (actually, the "its not his fault the way he was raised" angle is more accurate for Dick than Roy, but I'm not gonna get into that). And I am doing a lot of explaining and defending for a man who's competition is Rudy West.
Fundamental misunderstanding of Ollie and reducing him to "Batman with arrows" my beloathed.
Also another big issue is the fact that Roy's meant to be some spoilt rich brat, which doesn't really make sense?? I mean, Roy grew up on a reservation, and at this point he's living with Ollie who, based on this panel, is implied to still be at least kinda socialist in this timeline. He's not gonna be some disconnected nepo-baby who shames Wally for his parents' financial status, even at his most insecure, which I guess is the angle they're taking here.
And also why is Garth the one defending Roy? Garth doesn't care about Roy at best at this point, and actively dislikes him at worst. Especially considering Roy's treatment of Garth is arguably worse in this than in the original Teen Titans run. Idk, it feels like it's trying to make Garth into the quiet emotionally mature kid in this scenario, which i don't feel is very accurate to who Garth actually is (I'll admit I'm only recently getting into Aqua comics so I don't have a complete grasp of Garth's character, but I get the impression that he's definitely not as much of a pushover as this comic presented him as- in the original Teen Titans run he was bantering as much as the others were, and he did have moments where he'd get aggressive, such as when the Titans refuse to help him because of their 'vow')
I'm not gonna say I hate this comic. There are some parts of it I really love, like
These panels are cute as fuck and I adore them. I think that the comic really works as its own story outside of the main Teen Titans continuity, with its own interpretations of the characters and their stories. But if you try and apply it to the original Teen Titans series, it does get kinda messy.
So yeah, in conclusion, the panels are sad if you look at them within the story, but I just can't take it seriously in a broader scope because y'know. Rudy West. I'm not even that big of a Flash fan and I still know Rudy West is the worst guy.

do you see any RJK / artashipatrick parallels? ive been thinking about it a lot lately and wanted to get ur viewpoint
hi hi hi! I actually saw this opinion a couple of times in Ted Lasso fandom, but personally I don't share it. I AM very curious about your reasoning for it because I love looking at ships from different angles and seeing what people take from them.
my tldr is that I don't think RKJ has anything in common with the Challengers trio, beyond the fact that they're about two men ostensively fighting over a girl while also engaging in the kind of simmering homoeroticism that permeates elite men's sport. (this Marylin Frie quote says it better) I get why this can seem a parallel by itself but, to me, it's just a function of both ships being set in a Sports Media canon. When it comes to characters and their dynamics, these ships are built very differently IMO.
relative to each other:
the Challengers trio all start out as peers, both in age and in relative success level of their careers. They're all finalists in the Junior US Open when they meet. RKJ as a dynamic is absolutely hierarchical in comparison: you have Roy being a Legacy kind of Big Name in the sport, Jamie as the talented up-and-comer who idolised him growing up, and while he has promise, there's non guarantee he can come even close to the kind of career Roy's implied to have had. And then there's Keeley, who's absolutely an outsider in their world, and on a systemic level is much lower down the pecking order. I think Ted Lasso, especially in S1 and S2 does a great job giving an overview of, like, how transactional footballers/wags relationships inherently ARE, even to people who aren't already familiar with the context — not just the financial asymmetry and stark difference in career and life prospects but just, like. She's the girl peeking into the changing room and saying, Hi Boys. Jamie makes a joke about oogling her ass because they are both in on the joke that they fulfil a very specific stereotypical relationship dynamic.
Even if on a personal level both Roy and Jamie really respect and admire Keeley, she Does Not Belong in their hyperfocused sport-as-sexually-charged-rivarly world. Art and Patrick want to fuck Tashi first and foremost because she's a tennis phenomenon, they value her athletic abilities and coaching insight. That's a whole completely different dynamic from what's going on between RKJ. Compare Art and Patrick complimenting Tashi's performance at the US Open to Roy and Jamie "fighting over her" in 3x12 where it's all about who she likes more. As someone who actually liked the bar fight because I think it shows a very realistic ugly side to these characters (*) it's just. two men fighting over a girl. vs two athletes being so impressed by someone who is a girl and also a star athlete in her own right.
(*) asterisk because I absolutely loathed so many writing choices in S3, like, even if I like some seeds of plots I hate how they were executed. Oh my god typing this out is making me want to completely AU S3 of TL. anyway; I have beef with the pacing and stuff around that scene but I like the existence of the scene itself.
Keeley and Tashi couldn't be more different
Tashi is just. Her personality is most similar to Roy's, imo. She lives and breathes tennis. She needs to be around that world to live; she struggles to fill the void left with coaching (and living vicariously through Art to an extent). Keeley, meanwhile, makes fun of Roy feeling like the world is ending when he finally admits to himself that he can't go on any longer. Mind, I think that lighthearted "it's not the end of the world" attitude was precisely what Roy needed to hear at that point, because he takes himself too seriously and needed someone to tell him that he can live without football, actually — but the fact that Keeley just Doesn't Get It on a fundamental level, again, marks her as an outsider to the kind of all-encompassing elite athlete attitude Roy and Jamie share. She doesn't even like football! She's occasionally flighty (good for her). She's turning 30 and doesn't know where her life is going (SO valid). She's a completely different personality than the kind of single-minded all-or-nothing attitude you NEED to make it as a pro athlete. Again: her dynamic with the two men who are into her couldn't be any different than Art/Tashi/Patrick, BECAUSE she's a completely different personality. If she was in Challengers, she'd be one of the normie Stamford kids Patrick and Tashi make fun of.
IDK. I think any similarity between Tashi and Keeley starts and ends at "they're both women". Maybe I'm being uncharitable here! I'm someone who thinks that Keeley's portrayal in fanon flattens her a bit (in the way female characters in the periphery of a m/m ship are often put on a pedestal and shoved off the way) so I'm definitely bringing some of my own baggage here; that's why I'd love to know what parallels others see. But I think she and Tashi have very different neuroses. THAT SAID. If I was writing a crossover Ted Lasso / Challengers fic, I really think Tashi/Keeley would be my ship of choice

Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action Casting Choices
As a disclaimer, I will be focusing on the actor and the English VAs and only on certain ones that stood out for me, for good or for bad
The Great
Keisuke Watanabe & Todd Haberkorn as Ling Yao - absolutely phenomenal, Keisuke is perfect for the role in both acting and looks. Costume, hair and makeup design was perfect too. Even when he becomes greed, everything is still so spot on. I wish we could have seen more of Greedling in the 3rd film. Todd as always does an amazing job with his voice, no flaws, he is Ling Yao.
Seiyô Uchino & ??? as Van Hohenheim - Seiyô was fantastic, the best iteration of Hohenheim I've seen. I prefer him to the brotherhood version. Seiyô plays him as a father who doesn't know how to be a father but is still trying and still fundamentally cares. He looks the part, he acts the part, his facial expressions are spot on. The VA (who I cannot find the name of, apologies) was pretty good. Nothing that stood out, but they did work perfectly together.
The Good
Tsubasa Honda & Caitlin Glass as Winry Rockbell - Tsubasa's acting was pretty decent, though a little over the top at times. The scene where she told Al off however was perfect. I do wish the costume & make up designers had let her lean more into her mechanic side. They made her a little too girly girl and while Winry does embrace her feminine side, she also embraces her mechanic side and I did struggle to see that. Caitlin was great as usual, she delivered some of the lines differently and some very similar. I almost cried at 'give them back, give me back my mum and dad'.
Ryôsuke Yamada & Caleb Yen as Edward Elric - Ryôsuke makes for a very good Ed, the facial expressions he pulls are great, his attitude is perfectly Ed, and when he needs to be soft he is. Caleb Yen needed to step in as the new VA after the first film for obvious reasons. I personally struggled with the change, but it was a change that needed to happen and overall I'm happy with how Caleb made his own version of Ed's voice. I enjoyed the 'huuuh???'s immensely.
The Meh
Dean Fujioka & Steve Phelan as Roy Mustang - Dean was... Okay. But he was a little expressionless at times. Hair wasn't right either. Steve again, was okay but just, didn't really get the gravitas of Roy for me. Together they did a decent job of a military man, but he wasn't always recognisable as Roy Mustang.
Atom Mizuishi & Matthew Moy as Alphonse Elric - We only see a little bit of Atom at the end and yeah he's decent enough, it works. Matthew did better than Aaron Dismuke in my opinion bc of the voice change from Brotherhood to the live action. I'm sure it was the age difference between when they recorded it which, understandable, can't help that, but I just didn't like the new voice Aaron picked. Matthew did better, but only just. It kinda worked when Al was in his armour. It did not work when he was Atom. At all.
The Bad
Mackenyu Arata & Parry Shen as Scar - I had no issues with the acting of Mackenyu, my main issue is with the casting in general. They did brown face. They didn't need to do brown face. Why did they do that. Just. Oh my god. Why. Everything else was fine, the acting, the costume, the voice acting but just... *sighs* Really guys?
Chiaki Kuriyama & ??? as Olivia Mira Armstrong - Now, Chiaki did amazing, looks the part, acts the part, etc... Moving on: Olivia is in this category bc of her English voice actor who I cannot find the name of. Her voice was completely wrong, she was straining to be powerful enough and the rest of the time her voice was too soft. Olivia isn't soft. You cannot get someone with a soft voice for her. None of her lines hit. She hesitated at times when Olivia wouldn't and it just. It was bad. She'd be in the terrible category if not for Chiaki.
The Terrible
Kanata Hongô & Brian Anderson as Envy - oh boy. Kanata... Kanata's acting was... Lacking, to say the least. He played Envy as more emo and uncaring, when in fact Envy is supposed to be batshit insane and constantly being a little shit and grinning or snarling when things suddenly aren't going his way. Brain was okay, he was trying, but he had limited expressions to work with, and his voice was too deep in my opinion and not snarky enough. For Envy's true form they got the voice right, but that was mere seconds, if that. Overall, very disappointed.
Monroe Ron & Risa Mei as May Chang - my main gripe is that, not only did they hire a person in their late 20s to play an 11 y/o child, but then that actor wasn't even that good. Sure she played the part, but she never felt like May. The costume hair and makeup were great, yet this still felt like a fan doing a very good cosplay without stepping into the roleplay aspect of it. Idk what child actor laws are like in Japan, but surely they could have gotten someone better at acting to at least warrant the age up if they needed an adult. Risa was fine, again, worked with what she had, though her voice was a liiiil too ear hurty for me.

it's wild to me when fanon depicts riza as angry or resentful towards roy specifically. of course she feels angry and resentful but not at him, that makes no sense. if she felt betrayed by him specifically she wouldn't have gone on to follow him and be his main co-conspirator, she wouldn't believe in him and his cause.
all the opposite, it's because she understands that all the hurt and anger that came from the war and the sense of betrayal from seeing what was done with her father's research is and should be directed towards the government and not roy specifically. that would be missing the wood for the trees.
it would also be very hypocritical of her. his good intentions and naivety were taken advantage of as much as hers. and that's kind of the point, that's why they understand each other on such a fundamental level to the point where they grow co-dependent on each other.
a 20 year old fandom should know better than thinking female characters are better or "more feminist" if they become one dimensional caricatures. like, no sorry but riza doesn't hate feminine things, she doesn't secretly wants to be a man (specially when this hc is used to make ro/yai "better" because people still genuinely think women are gross), she doesn't hate every man in her life specially not the one she's in a life long relationship with. i promise y'all women are just regular human beings.
and all thinly veiled misogynistic bad takes disguised as progressive aside, it's just a piss poor interpretation of her character and her motivations. we see her in canon say more than once that she is going to follow roy into hell and into the grave, she understands him and supports him to the very end. why the ever loving fuck would she do that if she thought he was solely responsible for the harm and damage that flame alchemy caused?
the whole thing about these two characters is that they understand while they have a level of personal responsibility for what they did the bigger flaw and what needs to be changed is the actual governmental system. in fact, their main character arc is going from putting way too much responsibility on themselves to understanding that they never truly had an option to begin with as they learn about the homunculi's plans.
i don't know. there's no punchline to this post. i'm just a little tired of reading bad takes but also coming to terms with the fact internet people at large are completely incapable of grasping nuance.
#headcanons.#apparently since my takes and common sense are unpopular#anyways i am the authority on these characters you can fist fight me behind a warmart parking lot#fandom critical

The Canvas of the Digital World: Performance Marketing
Just as artists need a canvas to express their emotions and thoughts, in the digital marketing world, our canvas is the campaigns through which we showcase the performance of our brand. These campaigns offer a space where we apply our strategies, reach out to our customers, and shape their behaviors. However, the vibrancy of the colors on this canvas—meaning the impact of the campaigns—is directly related to ROI (Return on Investment). So, how can we paint this canvas most effectively? In this process, where strategy, measurement, and optimization come together, how do we achieve success?
Strategy: The First Step to Success
Every artist has a plan; they mentally sketch a draft before starting a painting. Similarly, in performance marketing, the first step is to plan a campaign that aligns with your brand’s goals and the customer journey. But this is not just about preparing a plan. Strategy involves deeply understanding your target audience. Who are we targeting? What are the needs and expectations of these people? What messages will move them to action?
When crafting a strategy, it’s essential to draw a path that reflects your brand’s values and identity. Just as an artist reveals their unique style with every brushstroke, you must showcase your brand’s uniqueness with every marketing move. However, this uniqueness is not just an aesthetic choice but also a critical factor in boosting performance. Because a well-crafted strategy can increase your ROI by delivering the right messages to the right audience at the right time.
Strategic Inquiries: Who Is Your Target Audience?
There are some fundamental questions you must ask when defining your target audience:
What is your customer profile? Demographic characteristics, interests, habits...
At what stage of the customer journey are they? Awareness, consideration, decision-making stages...
What problems are they looking to solve? How does your product or service address these problems?
The answers to these questions form the cornerstone of your strategy. But it’s not enough to stop here. Regularly reviewing your strategy, noticing changes in your target audience, and taking new steps accordingly is essential.
Measurement: The Compass on the Road to Success
After completing their work, a painter takes a step back and examines what they’ve done. This step is crucial for understanding what went right and what needs improvement. In digital marketing, this step is analysis. That is, measuring every step of your campaign and seeing which strategies yield results.
But what should we measure? There are many metrics in the digital marketing world: click-through rates, conversion rates, costs, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and, of course, ROI. However, not all of these metrics are equally important. Determining which metrics are crucial for you is a critical step in measuring the success of your campaign.
What to Question in Measurement?
Which channels provide the highest return? Social media, search engine ads, email campaigns...
What are the conversion rates? Are visitors converting into customers?
How are the costs? Is the customer acquisition cost (CAC) low? What steps should be taken to increase ROI?
To get answers to these questions, you need to prioritize data collection and analysis processes. Tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and advertising platforms can assist you in this. However, while using these tools, you must avoid focusing only on surface-level data. A deep analysis will help you develop and optimize your strategy.
Optimization: Making Success Continuous
Optimization is like the final touches an artist adds to their work. A painting may not be perfect in the first stage. Some colors can be made brighter, some details more pronounced. The same process applies in digital marketing. After launching your campaign, you should monitor the results and make the necessary adjustments.
Optimization means continuously updating and improving your campaign in light of the data. This not only helps you achieve better results but also allows you to use your marketing budget most efficiently. Remember, everything in the digital marketing world can be variable. Your target audience, market conditions, your competitors’ strategies... Considering all these dynamics, you must constantly optimize your campaign.
What to Question in Optimization?
What do A/B tests reveal? Which messages perform better?
Are your ad expenses optimal? Are you using your advertising budget most effectively?
How can you increase conversion rates? Website design, user experience, the attractiveness of offers...
Asking these questions is the key to success in performance marketing. However, another important point to pay attention to during the optimization process is to continuously use the trial-and-error method. This is one of the most effective ways to learn in the marketing world. Every trial offers you an opportunity to achieve better results.
Thinking with Impact: The Path to Success in Performance Marketing
Thinking with impact is the key to success in performance marketing. But this mindset is not limited to being result-oriented. It also means considering the long-term effects of your brand and campaigns. In other words, you must consider not only today’s return but also tomorrow’s opportunities.
Questioning Impact: What Do You Want in the Long Term?
Is your priority to increase brand awareness? Or is it more important to boost sales in the short term?
Is increasing customer loyalty your goal? That is, ensuring your customers repeatedly shop from you?
Is expanding into new markets your focus? Reaching different audiences and growing your business?
The answers to these questions will determine the long-term impact of your campaigns. To succeed in performance marketing, you need to balance both your short-term and long-term goals.
An Inspiring Journey: Unleash Your Creativity on the Canvas of the Digital World
In the digital marketing world, every campaign is a new canvas. On this canvas, with the colors of strategy, measurement, and optimization, you can create masterpieces. However, in this journey, being as inquisitive as you are creative is essential. What steps should I take? What paths should I try? And most importantly, how can I differentiate myself in this journey?
Performance marketing is not just a technical process; it is also an art. The foundation of this art lies in continuous learning, being open to innovation, and quickly adapting to change. At every step, don’t be afraid to try new things. Because success often lies outside your comfort zone.
In the canvas of the digital world, unleash your creativity. Every brushstroke, that is, every marketing move, can bring you one step closer to success. But in this process, you must continue to learn and grow, always staying one step ahead. Because in the digital marketing world, one thing is constant: Change.
So, in this wind of change, which sails will you raise? What new strategies will you try? And most importantly, how will you leave your mark on the digital world? The answers to these questions will be the key to your success in performance marketing.
Are you ready for this inspiring journey? Begin to create wonders on your canvas in the digital world with a creative and inquisitive mind. At every step, discover ways to take both yourself and your brand further. And remember, performance marketing is not just a job; it’s a work of art. It’s up to you to paint this masterpiece with the brightest and most vibrant colors.

10 tips for smart real estate investments
Entering the real estate market can be both an exciting and daunting prospect. With the potential for substantial returns, the allure of investing in property is evident for many. Be that as it may, the way to a productive venture can be mind-boggling, especially for newbies to the field. To guarantee that you pursue sound financial decisions and streamline your real estate, the following are ten essential tips for smart property investments.
Tip #1: Align Investments with Personal Goals
Before you start combing through property listings, take a step back and consider your objectives. Whether you're looking to create a passive income stream, build equity, or prepare for your retirement, your investment strategy should reflect these long-term goals. Understanding your 'why' will direct your navigation and assist you with keeping on track amid the whirlwind of chances.
Tip #2: Know Your Market Inside Out
Each real estate market is unique, with its own set of trends, regulations, and local economic factors. Turn into a neighborhood master in the areas you're thinking about for investment. Pursue the directions, go to nearby property sales, and network with experts in the industry to acquire a complete comprehension of the market conditions that will influence your investments.
Tip #3: Investigate Potential Surprises
Real estate is no stranger to unexpected expenses. A smart investor conducts thorough due diligence to identify potential drawbacks before making a purchase. This can incorporate getting various examinations, exploring the property's set of experiences, and monitoring any impending improvements that could influence the worth or use of the property.
Tip #4: Diversify Your Portfolio
Just as with stocks and bonds, diversification can work in your favor. By investing in different types of properties or in various geographical locations, you spread your risk. An enhanced portfolio likewise offers the adaptability to change your interests because of changes on the lookout or your circumstances.
Tip #5: Calculate Your Finances Wisely
The success of a real estate investment is often determined at the point of purchase. Be sure to calculate all the foreseeable costs, from your down payment and mortgage payments to closing costs and property taxes. Leveraging financial tools like a mortgage calculator or working with a knowledgeable financial advisor can ensure that you're making informed financial decisions.
Tip #6: Understand the Legal Landscape
Real estate is heavily regulated and the legal framework can significantly impact your investment. Each state and municipality has its regulations regarding property possession, tenant agreements, and landlord-tenant relationships. Staying informed and working with legitimate experts when important is fundamental for exploring the lawful intricacies of real estate.
Tip #7: Evaluate the Property’s Potential Returns
An attractive property may not necessarily be a lucrative investment. Calculate the potential return on investment (ROI) by considering the rental income, your projected expenses, and any potential for property appreciation. If the numbers don't add up, it's likely not the right investment for you.
Tip #8: Prioritize Property Management
The success of a rental property often hinges on its management. Whether you choose to deal with the property yourself or recruit an expert, legitimate support, inhabitant screening, and prompt issue goals are basic parts of safeguarding and improving the value of your investment.
Tip #9: Build a Reliable Network
Real estate is a people business. Developing an organization of dependable experts including real estate agents, property managers, contractors, and different investors can offer important help and assets. A decent organization can offer bits of knowledge, and associations, and assist you with taking care of issues all the more.
Tip #10: Practice Patience and Keep Learning
Real estate investing is a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient and don't be rushed into a decision. With any investment, there will be lessons to learn. Continuously educate yourself by reading industry publications, attending seminars, and learning from your experiences to refine your investment strategy over time.
By diligently following these ten tips, you are more likely to make informed decisions and build a successful real estate portfolio. Remember that 'smart' in 'smart investments' isn't about luck or being overly cautious, but about being savvy and strategic in your approach to the market. And always enlist the help of professionals when you need expert advice. If you are in search for a reliable estate advisor, make sure to look for the best property brokers in Indore, like those at our partner firm. Happy investing!

The Age Of Performance Marketing – Why It Should Be On Every Brand’s 2024 Playbook
Imagine spending tons of money on fancy marketing, but over half of it reaches the wrong people. That’s the problem with traditional online ads. Even on social media, where people spend tons of time, ads get buried and ignored.
But hold on, performance marketing is here to help. It’s not about how many people see your ad (vanity metrics), but about getting the results you want, like sales or sign-ups. It’s like paying only when someone buys something after seeing your ad, not just looking at it.
Here’s why it’s super important for 2024:
-> People are tired of irrelevant ads. They want value, not just to be sold to.
-> Competition is fierce. Businesses need to be smarter with their marketing money.
-> Data is king! We can track what works and what doesn’t, so ads get better and better.
Defining Performance Marketing
Performance marketing is like paying for results, not just appearances. It uses data to track what really matters – things like sales, sign-ups, or app downloads – instead of just likes and shares that don’t actually help your business.
Performance marketing and traditional digital marketing differ fundamentally in their orientation and measurement. Traditional formats use broad targeting focused mass brand awareness goals. But performance marketing spotlights qualified traffic and revenue returns. Activities get evaluated through microscopic conversion tracking instead of superficial engagement monitoring alone. Overall accountability shifts left towards tangible ROI from cost centers pushing reach.
For example Using Facebook ads that track how many people buy something after seeing your ad. Else creating Instagram posts that encourage people to sign up for your newsletter.
Performance Marketing The MVP In 2024
So, why is performance marketing the MVP in 2024? Buckle up, because we’re diving into the top reasons:
1. You’re The Boss Of Your Budget:
Remember that party analogy? It applies here too. With performance marketing, you have complete control over where your money goes. No more guesswork, no more wasted ad spend on people who are just passing by. You only pay for the actions you care about, making your marketing budget work harder than ever before.
2. Data Drives Decisions, Not Hunches:
Forget relying on gut feelings and crossed fingers. Performance marketing is all about data-driven decision making. Every click, every purchase, every interaction is tracked and analyzed, giving you clear insights into what’s working and what’s not. This real-time feedback allows you to constantly fine-tune your campaigns and maximize your return on investment (ROI).
3. Hello, Mr. Right Audience:
Gone are the days of shouting your message into the void. Performance marketing lets you target your ideal customer with laser precision. Whether it’s demographics, interests, online behavior, or even purchase history, you can tailor your campaigns to reach the people who are most likely to convert. It’s like having a secret handshake with your perfect customer.
4. Flexibility Is Your Friend:
The marketing landscape is constantly changing, and performance marketing is built to adapt. Unlike traditional methods that might be locked into long contracts, performance marketing allows you to quickly adjust your strategies based on results. See something not working? Change it! See something working great? Double down! This agility keeps you ahead of the curve and ensures your marketing dollars are always working for you.
5. It’s A Measurable Marathon, Not A Sprint:
Remember, marketing is a journey, not a destination. Performance marketing lets you track your progress every step of the way. You can see exactly how your campaigns are performing, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate your successes. This data-driven approach helps you build a sustainable marketing strategy that delivers long-term results.
But wait, isn’t performance marketing complicated? Not necessarily! While it involves data and tracking, the basic principles are simple. And guess what? There are plenty of tools and resources available to help you get started, even if you’re a marketing newbie.
So, are you ready to join the performance marketing revolution? Here are some simple steps to get you started:
Define your goals: What do you want to achieve with your marketing? More website traffic? More sales? Increased brand awareness? Knowing your goals will help you choose the right performance marketing channels and metrics to track.
Get to know your audience: Who are you trying to reach? What are their interests and needs? The more you understand your target audience, the better you can tailor your campaigns to resonate with them.
Explore different channels: There are many performance marketing channels to choose from, like search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, content marketing, affiliate marketing, and email marketing. Experiment to see what works best for you and your audience.
Track, analyze, and adapt: Don’t just set it and forget it! Regularly monitor your campaign performance, analyze the data, and make adjustments as needed. Remember, performance marketing is all about continuous improvement.
