I have SO many things to say about this show and this ship, I had to narrow my list down for this post so I’ll probably post even more hcs and random thoughts soon! I am keeping some for future fics tho hehe

I apologize that I don’t have too many Sexuality hcs!

- To me, Bear and Tiger are both lesbians! the way they both dress honestly makes so much sense for the 2010s era of queer fashion that they would have access to from before the crumble (if we’re assuming this show is set in the present, which I do for ease ). Bear wears a ring on her thumb! this is a symbol of lesbianism too and I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a carabiner on Tigers hip either. to me they both already knew they were lesbians and I think they were together before the show started, but of course were estranged throughout.

- I think that the Animal Army was pretty queer in general! I can definitely see some of them being in relationships and some being trans that we didn’t get to explore! I also lowkey think that if that weren’t the case they would be having babies and stuff because WHO is teaching these orphaned teenagers anything about their bodies? yeah…

- Becky coming back from everything that happened in season 3 and not only getting to see the kids, but seeing Tiger there too and finally, finally feeling safe for one of the first times in her life. all of them coming out of fight mode and slowly learning what it is to heal, what relationships look like when there isn’t something dangerous looming over their heads. figuring out who they really are in a way they could never do before.

- I think that Becky remembers more about her childhood before her parents passed then she says, but keeps it to herself because internally she feels like everything she puts out into the world is taken away.

- I imagine Wendy (when she’s a little older) coming to Becky and asking her for advice and about Becky’s feelings for Tiger, trying to figure out her own feelings for Gus! this is so cute to me because I assume the couples both met around the same age. and Becky feeling so proud and like she won at big sister when it works out for them!!

- Tigerbear having little signals and mannerisms that no one else would understand leftover from when they needed to communicate without words in a fight. a certain whistle/noise or hand motion that seems like absolutely nothing but says exactly what it needs to for them.

- Tigerbear play-fighting in the woods in yellowstone, like a game of tag but they legitimately use fighting techniques and take each other down frequently. all the kids always wanting to join so they tone it back when playing with them, but absolutely and lovingly hunt each other down when it’s just them two. they would also kiss when they catch each other, yes this is true they told me!

- playing off of that, I think within their new, more calm lifestyle they both get the zoomies from time to time and absolutely have to run around to get it out of their systems, their bodies are too used to the chase lol. Jepp probably looks at them both like they’re insane when they willingly run a mile, but appreciates it because it usually gets all of the kids pretty tired too.

- at some point when they had time off in animal army HQ they most definitely gave each other stick and poke tattoos, i’m not *exactly* sure where or what they were, but i know in my heart that it happened.

- keeping the rest of the animal armies memories alive through stories and songs, making a book full of them like Katniss and Peeta did after the war in mockingjay.

Okay before I finish Sweet Tooth S3 here's my death predictions but I read the comics and am basing the predictions off of that, no explicit spoilers but under the cut bc of comic stuff + characters that dont show up in s1/s2 mention

The Future of this Blog

In light of recent developments, I felt compelled to write this post. As this is something that actually affects me directly and personally, I felt the need to discuss it. You all can agree with me or disagree with me; this is my own opinion and decision.

It is my personal and biased opinion that actors, celebrities, and entertainers should steer clear of fandom spaces online. Them infiltrating these spaces is problematic in many ways, but first and foremost it creates unnecessary tension and anxiety, both for the fans and for the actor. When you know for certain that the actor is watching everything you do, you no longer have a safe space in which to express yourself freely and without shame. Fandom spaces can be toxic enough as it is, without also fearing upsetting or disturbing the very actors whose work you are discussing.

Unless the actors in question get "really cool about a lot of things really fast" it will always backfire. I know there are some celebrity accounts right here on Tumblr, and they have had varying levels of success. I also know that Jeppe is a frequent flyer on The Last Kingdom subreddit and to my knowledge he is very respectful of the fans there and has not caused any problems. But that is the exception, not the rule.

I will say that I have done a piss poor job of keeping my fandom and my personal and professional stuff separated. (Apparently I like to shit where I eat, lol.) That is my own fault really. But mostly I don't really care if anyone knows who I really am, because everything in my life bleeds together. I am not beholden to anyone besides myself, so no one will care what kind of weird stuff I am into. Other people have their reasons for staying anonymous and keeping their personal stuff strictly separated from their fandom stuff and that is understandable and respected.

We all know, as bloggers, that the stuff we post in here is public. There is no illusion of privacy here. Even if you have your blog settings set up so that it does not appear in Google search, or excluded from Tumblr search, or that only logged in accounts can view your profile, people can and will find your blog and view it. My blogs all are fully public, viewable by anyone, and included in both searches. I also have no illusion of privacy. However, I think there is an unspoken understanding that your blog is your "safe space", and should be respected as such. Just like the various fanfic sites are also safe spaces (but also public) where you can create freely and openly.

There is a saying "Don't post anything online you would not want your mother/daughter/etc to see". And that is probably true on Facebook or Instagram, where you family is probably already following you and will see what you post. Here the rules don't apply. If everyone here only posted stuff that was uncontroversial, tame, watered down, and sterile, this place would be boring as hell. This *is* the gay autism site after all. There are a lot of daydreaming artistic types who feel this is the only place where they are truly free to be themselves. To share their experiences and write about things that are dear to them, whether that is identifying mushroom species or writing deranged smut. (no judgement lmao)

With all of this being said, I will make it very clear that I WILL NOT be shutting this blog down!! I am not ashamed of anything that I have posted or will post in the future. I will NOT be censoring myself, and I WILL NOT be made to feel guilty about ANYTHING I say on here. I am generally very respectful and honestly mostly pretty tame (especially compared to some of y'all) but even if I have an unhinged rant or semi-feral moment in the tags I do not want to feel like I have to "dial it down" just because "someone" might see it and judge me.

I am not actively seeking to broadcast and get unwanted attention on this blog. But in the same token I will not try to hide anything.

This blog is MY SAFE SPACE. It is my home. I will continue to draw my beautiful artwork, write my little stories, share my thoughts and feelings, post my memes and edits, and interact with my mutuals and friends on here because it brings me great joy and NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE will take this away from me!!

This fandom has brought me a lot of joy and opened me up to new experiences, allowed me to be myself and connected me with some amazing people from all over the world. It has become a very important part of my daily life, and enriched me in ways I never could have imagined. I never want to feel like I have to go back to hiding away parts of myself out of fear or humiliation.

I am so damn tired of feeling like an outcast. I have finally found a place where I feel like I somewhat belong and I will not be chased out.

Sweet Tooth: Season 2--Thoughts

SPOILER ALERT: I am so bad at keeping things spoiler free and having them make sense, so if you haven’t seen the show/new season, I suggest you don’t read. Honestly, I really liked this season just as much as the first. There wasn’t a lot I didn’t like about it.  All the hybrid kids are so adorable! I tried to find more info about them since I was curious if any of them were deaf or HoH since the hybrids use ASL since some cannot talk and when a few of them talked it sounded to me like they had a “deaf accent”. But I can’t find much info on the children actors, other than that one girl Maya, who is played by Amie Donald,  played Meagan in the movie M3GAN.

Dr. Singh really had a rough go being forced to find a cure for the Sick and being forced to deprive himself of sleep so he could find a cure faster. Compared to the first season, he seemed a bit unhinged by the end of this season and Rani left him since she was so tired of fighting off the Sick for the last nine years. Their relationship does have its sweet moments though ends bittersweet for them. Bitter for Adi but Sweet for Rani.

I went searching on ao3 to see if there was any fanfiction for this fandom and there is, but only in double digits last I checked. But I don’t know why there are people out there shipping a ten year old with a grown man...that just is so disturbing! The relationship between Jepp and Gus is purely platonic and if anything father-son bond, so I don’t know what some people are seeing! The whole backstory of Jepp and why he joined the Last Men initially, I totally understand why. The man is a family man, he was looking for his family! Literally would go to the ends of the world to find them. And I felt so bad for him when he found what became of them.  And I loved seeing more of Becky; nearly forgot about the whole plotline with her sister being a hybrid and that was the entire reason she created the Animal Army to protect hybrids. The sisters reunited, although I don’t think her younger sister is all that ready to admit that some of her birth family is still alive.

Also, why is John such a common name for some really great characters? I know he’s more of a secondary character, but I loved this guy! Literally every time he was on screen, there were moments that just made me go “Aww” either in sympathy or how adorable he is.  As I watched this season, you can tell Johnny is a good guy inside but tries to hide it since he is siding with Abbott. Literally caught onto this within the first episode or so. The actor Marlon Williams does such a good job with his facial expressions.  Oh, but why is he on Abbott’s side you may ask...well because they are brothers. I really don’t know why, I have a thing about brotherly relationships in movies and shows; I love watching how they pan out. This relationship between Johnny and Dougie was difficult to watch to be honest, and didn’t end well on either of their ends. Anyway, I am starting to ramble, so I will stop now.

🎤 Kpop Concerts: [INTERVIEW] BANG YONGGUK on His Creative Evolution and Approach to Music

For rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer BANG YONGGUK, his life revolves around music. His journey began after falling in love with hip-hop at a young age. While still in middle school, he joined the underground hip-hop group, Soul Collection, after receiving praise for his self-written rap verses that he shared on an online forum. Under the stage name Jepp Blackman, he honed his skills and expanded his industry network, eventually featuring on his first song “Cherry Flower” with the collective in 2008.  

He officially entered the public spotlight with his impressive rap delivery on Song Jieun’s 2011 chart-topping hit, “Going Crazy.” He continued to garner attention with his subsequent release “I Remember” featuring Beast’s Yoseob followed by the rap duet “Never Give Up” with his future bandmate, Zelo, under the sub-unit name, BANG&ZELO. Despite being a trainee until then, BANG YONGGUK was a hot topic, trending on search engines and attracting public interest as a promising new artist in the industry.

In 2012, BANG YONGGUK debuted as the leader and main rapper of the six-member boy group, B.A.P. Starting with their debut single, “Warrior,” he penned several of the group’s powerful and assertive lyrics that tackle themes such as empowerment, rebellion, social issues, and more. BANG YONGGUK pursued his solo career and began releasing more introspective music around mental health, self-reflection, and more as seen on his albums, BANGYONGGUK (2019), 2 (2022), and The Colors of Love(2023).

Shortly after the album’s release, BANG YONGGUK embarked on his ‘III’ THE US TOUR 2024,just months after his successful 2023 summer tour, The Colors of Bang Yongguk.“The biggest goal of going on a tour is sharing my music, indeed, but I also feel like I embark on the tour every year for new challenges,” he shared in a press release. “I learned and felt so many things by meeting my fans during my last tour, and I look forward to learning even more new things during this tour as well.”

The ‘III’ tour kicked off on April 5, spanning across a total of 11 cities and wrapping up in Los Angeles on April 28. The tour was more intimate compared to the previous one. On stage, BANG YONGGUK explained that 3 was filled with things he had long wanted to share but hadn’t had a chance. He wrapped up the tour with the hope that everyone confidently face challenges in their own lives and learn to grow from them. Following the end of the tour, Kpopconcerts.com caught up with BANG YONGGUK to recap his U.S. tour experience, dive deeper into 3, and his creative approach to his music.

KPC: Congratulations on completing your tour! After performing across 11 cities in the U.S., what are your final reflections on the experience? 

BANG YONGGUK: It was a precious experience that reminded me of how much love I receive from my fans. The endless warmth and support made me feel like those are the reasons why I am alive.

KPC: What is the best and the hardest part about touring?

BANG YONGGUK: Seeing the fans who enjoy my music gives my life a lot of drive. It gives me strong motivation to create music and a reason to be on stage. However, the tight touring schedule makes it difficult to take care of myself. The emptiness and loneliness that come after a performance are just part of touring. So, I need to stay strong and protect myself physically and mentally.

KPC: What factors did you take into consideration when arranging this tour’s setlist?

BANG YONGGUK: The new album, 3, made up the core of the setlist. I wanted to sing all the songs in the album live. I tried to find tracks that fit the new album well and piece them together like a puzzle to make a more dynamic, exciting performance.

KPC: In a previous interview, you described your creative process as a cycle of destruction, creation, death, and rebirth. With your album, 3, you boldly explored new genres and sounds that you’ve yet to try before.  Could you elaborate on what that journey was like for you?

BANG YONGGUK: This album is meaningful in a way that I challenged myself with the genres and tempo that I did not like before. I tried to get out of the existing BANG YONGGUK’s music. By trying things that I didn’t like, I was able to understand the genre characteristics of various music and study to change them to suit my style. KPC: You released a music video for each of your tracks on your latest album. What was the inspiration behind each video’s concept? Any memorable moments while on set?

BANG YONGGUK: When I am planning out an album and choosing a concept, I start by including image-related elements. For this album, I pulled from various sources, so I decided that I needed visualizers for each song. From the moment I chose France as the location for the shooting, the preparation period was more memorable than the actual schedule when I was there. After scouting the location, I had a long meeting with the staff about how we would move forward with the concept. Sometimes, we shared our thoughts until the sun came up to create a work of art together. Even though it’s tiring, times like that make me feel alive.

KPC: You’re shown dancing throughout the “Movimiento” music video. How did you feel dancing again?

BANG YONGGUK: As the title suggests, the shoot focused more on movement than dance. My goal was to show how I naturally moved to the music without being locked into a specific choreography.

KPC: In “BAD,” you collaborated with YOUHA. How did this collaboration come about and what it was like working with her?

KPC: Reflecting on your 13 years in the industry, what would you say has been the most significant change or evolution in your approach to creating music?

BANG YONGGUK: The diversity. I feel that the genre of music that I can make has grown. In addition to studying, I have to make an effort to accept and absorb it into my own style. It’s also important for me to learn from my experiences. I have produced many albums and have done a variety of performances, and I think these experiences have been very helpful for me.

KPC: How do you balance maintaining authenticity in your music while also evolving as an artist over time? 

KPC: You’ve previously stated that one of your current goals is to support new artists who are chasing the same dreams that you once pursued early in your career. What advice would you offer to young artists aspiring to succeed in the music industry?

BANG YONGGUK: You have to keep dreaming and trying. Artists shouldn’t stop creating. I have to fight numerous worries and the urge to create even while lying in bed. And you have to constantly create something. I think that’s the destiny of artists. I dream of supporting their painstaking work and letting more people know about it.

Fan Question #4: Given your appreciation for Pinot Noir, have you discovered any new favorite wines or vineyards lately, and if so, what are they?

BANG YONGGUK: Lately, I’ve been into German and Austrian riesling. With global warming, the variety’s unique flavors and trends are gradually changing so I thought I should experience more riesling before that.

3rd Canadian & International Massage Therapy Championships 2024

Director and fearless leader of an amazing team of people for the Canadian Competition is Liane Dufresne. In this picture I am with Jeppe Tengbjerg who is the director of the International Massage Association (IMA) and Tracey Windmill from Dynamic Flow Massage in Colorado who has been an inspiration to me from day one of competing. I’m humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude to receive first place in sports massage for Canada. I am honoured to have my work recognized in this way. All first place winners of each category were awarded a free participant fee for the 7th annual IMA World Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark June 28-30, 2024.

This championship took place in Laval, Quebec May 4 & 5, 2024. There were 68 competitors including 2 teams of 4 handed massage participants. There were therapists who sighed up from all across Canada including a few from the Ukraine, USA, Cameroon, Kenya, and Ghana.

There were 5 categories: Freestyle, Wellness, Facial, sports, and Swedish. Routines were 30min each under the watchful eye of 15 judges who are looking for many things including technique, biomechanics and creativity. There was also a summit happening simultaneously where the general public was able to watch the competition happen as well as visit vendors and sponsors of wellness products and interact live presenter’s speaking about massage.

This event is very special for me because the mission of the Canadian competition resonates with me deeply on many levels, specifically with the goal to raise the level of education and elevate the profession by sharing what we do. Not only was it in my home country, but it also rewards excellent massage therapist with technical skills and values the fundamental principles of massage: empathy, respect and compassion for our patients. I have been massaging since 2004, (this is my third competition World Championships in Denmark 2022 where I placed 5th in sports, the American Championships in 2023 where I place second in freestyle and third as overall champion). My advice would be to learn from your masters have a teacher who helps facilitate your learning. For me the word "competition" is more about sharing. Believe in yourself, elevate your talents, get inspired by learning new ways of doing things, then develop your own techniques and protocols. Innovation comes from passion and new ways of doing things. We all know what works for one might not work for another. Comfort zones are nice but nothing grows there, these events help us surpass ourselves and increase our confidence pushing ourselves to become better therapist for the future.

Massage championships aren’t just a place where people put their talent on the line; in fact, for many, medals are secondary. If a massage therapist only competes for the medals, they are missing out on a lot. These events are a wonderful space/time to learn, get inspired and above all to meet and exchange with other therapist, network, create new possibilities through new international friendships. A championship is an environment where quality is defined, encouraged and rewarded. And in doing so, not only does it give visibility to massage therapist, but it highlights the very elements of what makes excellent massages and excellent massage therapist. There are few places where this is done in a caring, coherent and structured manner. By creating a massage championship, people, both professionals and the public, focus on what is important. International competitions are a pretext to present a wide range of practices existing around the world and an opportunity for each massage therapist to export and expand their art beyond the walls of their clinic.

Having fun, sharing, exchanging with colleagues from all backgrounds and building strong bonds is a huge part of this industry. I do these events because I want to positively position massage therapy throughout the world in the eyes of the public. Demonstrating passion for what massage therapist do and encouraging progress, continuing learning and education will all make us better. Everyone is a winner by participating at these events, growing and elevating the profession together and all deserve the acknowledgment for the courage to do so.

Eskel, the Knight prt 1.

The man didn’t know what had disturbed his sleep. He woke up tired but the sun was already up, so he got dressed and gathered his belongings. He looked back at the room one last time, not because of the memories, but to make sure he'd left nothing behind.

„Already leaving, Master Witcher?” asked the innkeeper as he saw the man walking up to him.

„Yes,” he replied. He was happy that the locals had made room for him. Most folks hated witchers but he had killed the monsters that had terrorized the village for years. Archespores, nasty things, from a distance they were almost unrecognizable, but when any warmblooded creature came near them they attacked and they were deadly. The witcher had been a bit dizzy for a few days because of the archespores’ poisened thorns, but his elixirs, and a roof above his head had helped a lot.

He put some coins on the table, in front of the innkeeper, then left. A long road lay ahead of him. He was in Zerikkania and he needed to get to Kaer Morhen before the first snow falls and it was a months long journey to Kaedwen.

He had always liked the heat, the hot weather, but he had spent two years in this country and he really missed his brothers and the familiar terrain. He also really wanted to rest, he had travelled to almost every village of Zerikkania and had met some really gruesome, poisionous monsters.

By noon he was already miles away. He was kinda in a hurry – he really didn’t want to be there when the innkeeper figured out that his daugther had spent the night with him. Sometimes he wondered, why people hated them so much, but having sex couldn’t be a reason, could it?

The soldiers led her through the village, it had once been full of live but now it was barren, where once houses had stood, only ashes remained. The air was suffocating, filled with the unmistakable scent of burnt flesh, the flesh of innocent men, women, and children. The people she had sworn to protect, the people, who had been her subjects, all of them were dead because she had been unable to protect them. Now she was just a tool, a toy for the Nilfgaardians, a whore, nothing more.

She looked to the side and wished she hadn’t. On the street lay at least twenty small, broken, and burnt bodies. The children probably ran out of the orphanage, just to meet their ends. She stopped for a moment, why, why did Nilfgaard do this? To what end did they attack? It didn’t make any sense. They had never provoked them. Their spies had reported that the Nilfgaardians were on the move but they had never imagined they would advance this far. She heard from the soldiers that they wanted to take the north but to what end? What was it that the emperor seeks?

„Move, whore!” yelled the captain, pulling her chains. She pulled the chain back and in an instant she was on the floor – one of the soldiers hit her. She tasted her blood, she had bit her tongue in the fall.

„Ah, don’t be so mad.” said the captain with a laugh. „We are just teaching you manners. Don’t you think it would be easier for all of us, if you would just let us fuck you?”

„It’s really sad that you can only fuck women in chains,” she replied and felt a poweful grip on her throat. A hand raised her into the air, she couldn’t breathe. Let it end, she prayed. Get on with it. But the captain just laughed and ordered the soldier to let her go.

„Don’t worry, I have something special in mind for you tonight,” he said with a smile that made her skin crawl.

He was not far from the next kingdom but the sun was going down, so he had to find shelter for the night. Regardless, that during the day the heat became almost unbearable, the nights could get pretty cold, and fast. He found a shelther and hoped no nasty thing was gonna desire him at night. The last time he had spent the night outside, a scorpion had really wanted to devour him – he had spent the next few days in a really delirious way. Why did every animal and monster have to be poisonous in Zerrikania? He asked himself that every time he entered the country.

By noon he had left the desert behind and the world started to turn green. He smelled ripe fruits, flowers; in the distance laughing kids played. He was happy that the secret passages between the countries were still intact. The next country was days away – but reaching it would mean he'd only have to go upwards to reach Kaer Morhen.

Every inch of her hurt badly. It took days until she was able to move again. The new whip marks burned like hell and she had a feeling they had broken some of her ribs, too. She wanted to kill all of them, torture them, flay them alive. She was unable to decide whether to give up or fight until the very end. She wanted to be there for her family. But they were dead. Cintra had fallen, which meant her family was dead also. Queen Calanthe had invited them to a feast and his father had left the country in her hands, to defend it, before they had departed. But she had failed. The gods had turned their face away from her. She had failed them, too. None of them answered her prayers.

She heard the murmurs about a secret passage leading to freedom – that was what the soldiers were talking about. She had a feeling that they wanted to desert, escape through the mountains and disappear forever. She knew, if that was their plan, she only had days left. They wouldn’t carry a whore with them who could easily expose them. She had to escape, or die trying, she was still weak but she was running out of time. She owed it to everyone who had been killed by the Nilfgaardians, to try at least. She needed a plan and fast.

Thanks to the uneventful days he reached the mountains in days and despite the news about the Nilfgaardians he hoped the rest of his journey would be this lucky. Especially because the Nilfgaardians had been defeated at Sodden Hill. The rumours said Mages had helped the northern kingdoms to turn the tide. At least they used their magic for something useful, he thought. While Witchers were outcasts, Sorceresses and Sorcerers were royal advisors, meddling in affairs he was taught to avoid. His brother, Geralt, despite the teachings, really loved to meddle in these kind of things, he had heard the newest ballad from some northener in Zerrikania. Geralt apparently broke a Striga curse which had been cast on a princess. And his other brother, Lambert… ah Lambert, he never knew when to shut up. The last time Lambert had been in a court he had almost lost his head. Witchers with short tempers were not a long lived ones. Those two assholes, his closest brothers. The man hoped that they were still alive.

He heard yelling, a woman’s voice echoed through the mountains. He couldn’t make out what she was saying but she sounded mad, even through the echoes. He changed direction and tried to pinpoint the source of the echo.

The soldiers just laughed at her, as she yelled her heart out. Her ribs hurt and she ran out of oxygen from time to time, but she always started over. She had to create a diversion while she unchained herself because her chains were heavy and really loud. After 15 minutes the chains were gone and an illusion of the chains was in place. Nobody knew that she was a mage, her parents had taught her how to master her magic, and how to hide it. A princess should not be sent to Aretuza, they had said. This had been hard to explain to the staff after she had set the whole laundry on fire. But with time she had learned to control it. She was really fond of creating illusions, just as much, as she loved to learn how to fight. Even on her worst days she was deadly. She had taken out at least 10 Nilfgaardians before they had been able to take her.

She really didn’t want to leave her blades behind, which were somewhere in the camp, but she was too weak to create a bigger illusion, so she could gather them. She really wished she could take out the captain but she was not even sure that she would manage to flee. The sun was already below the horizon, it was time to move.

„… and your small dick, it’s a joke! The Nilfgaardian captain, with the smallest dick I ever seen”

The man finally found the source of the echo. A blondish-redish-haired prisoner in a Nilfgaardian camp. She sat beside a tent within some kind of illusion. The man was too far to see excatly what the illusion was but he could feel it.

The captain walked beside her and spit in her face. She was faster than the captain anticipated, she headbutted him. The soldiers attacked - she was obviously in pain but managed to knock out two of them. But there were too many, at least 13 more.

The man didn’t know why, or when he started to move, but he was only 10 meters from the camp. Then suddenly, a thud. He looked down, the woman was in the grass in front of him – she tumbled down when she ran into him. She stood up quickly and looked behind herself, the soldiers were closing in on her.

„Stop her!” yelled the captain to the man. The man just gazed into the woman’s eyes. One of them was blue and the other was yellow. He still hadn’t moved but the woman had. He heard as his knive slipped out of its sheath. The woman threw it right into the captain’s eye. Dead.

As the captain fell, the man beside her pulled out his sword because Nilfgaardiands advanced to attack. He was fast, way too fast to be a simple human. The man cut through the men as if they were only toy soldiers. He moved like an animal, circling around his prey. He was fast, and brutal, but not fast enough.

The woman heard the sound, as the sword cut through her saviours chest. She heard the unmistakable sound of flesh and bones as they were ripped apart. She pulled the knife out of the captain’s eye and threw it again. Only two left. She grabbed her saviour’s sword and defended herself, then returned the attack. Only one. Just one, and she would be free.

„Whore,” he laughed. „I’m gonna mark you, and fuck your dead body, then throw it to the wolves.”

„Try,” she said but the soldier’s laugh quickly turned into a desperate scream, as she melted his flesh from his bones.

She turned to the stranger who had helped her. He was loosing blood rapidly.

„I’m gonna help you, okay?” said the woman with shaking hands.

„My… bag,” he replied powerless. He felt warm, even though everyone said dying was cold. He also felt electricity in the air, maybe a storm was coming? He did not know.

„Whats your name?” asked the woman. She wanted to know, she was not sure why – to try to help him calm down, or so she would be able to carve it into his tombstone.

„.. Eskel” he said, then lost consciousness.

Zevran was smart enough to know he was a fool, and that was just the way he liked it. A person only needed enough smarts to survive their stupidity– and he certainly had enough stupidity to him to make the clever moments stand out.

It all worked out for the best like that, really. If nothing else, it had long imparted the revelation to him, brilliant fool that he was, the secret to life. Simple and unlikely: surviving life in all its exquisite dreadfulness required optimism, and the secret ingredient to optimism was pessimism.

The Warden, that frighteningly odd individual, had practically spent the night with Zevan strapped to her back like an infant. There wasn’t a single kill to his name, and still she openly gushed about him, in front of the entire party and half of Redcliffe.

It was perfectly reasonable to assume that her standards for excellence were so low that a compliment was a thinly-veiled insult. Or that the wholly undeserved praise was a more calculated move to make the others resent him. To keep him out of conflict so that his reflexes dulled for lack of practice. To lull him into a false sense of security, even, only to take him (somewhat) by surprise when she and the dog murdered him in the dead of night and feasted on his innards.

And as far as Zevran was concerned, such thoughts only made the good things stand out more. He had survived a battle without a scratch. The leader of the party had given praise, and there was no taking back what had already been spoken, undeserved as the words might have been. His own tent was in the works. Even the sunrise had a peachy glow to it that was hard not to admire. No, this was more than enough for now.

Just.. imagine my day okay.. I fell asleep around 03:00 woke up at 07:00 bc work. I am a bit sleeby and workflow is minimal for a change because the start of the week was.. an experience. Anyway. So I am sleeby and inhale my coffee as one does I have finished my tasks so far so I get out my TMNT sketchbook and start a lil cowboy doodle of F!Leo and he is looking over his shoulder standing next to a horse he is apparently mid convo. Mh. Who is he talking to? Casey maybe? Nah. I can't draw human faces for shit so I tap my pen gently on the paper and whoops. Forlorn P!Leo appears he seems to be having a moment TM poor thing what happened. So I draw more. And I get a Donnie guarding his twin who is sleeping his phone in hand he seems agitated what is he looking at and whoops, closeup on the phone. Headline: "Rising Falling Star "Neon Leon" is his career over? An in-depth look into the devastating accident." The fuck is going on. Poor baby. What happened. Why is F!Leo here and a cowboy what kinda.. ohhhh. And it goes from there okay like... and I think about it the whole day and I doodle and I start getting into temporal paradoxes and other paradoxes and it becomes a mashup of different things and I think about the one horsebook series I read until the books looked worn I think about every movie that has a washed up ex pro that had to end their careers bc of some life altering accident that coaches a new generation or one kid full of hopes and dreams to greatness and cowboys and horsegirl movies were some tragic thing happens and then there is a special horse and the girl and the horse bond and save a farm or whatever by winning a tournament. All those things ok? And then i mash them together in my head like playdough and mhh.

My auntie just bleached my hairline while I was sorting out logistics and I will contemplate some more while I recolour my hair fittingly in a neon leon blue colour (bc there is a ballroom tomorrow in the city and I wanna look very sharp for my fellow queers) and jepp. This is my life now. i guess. I draw one cowboy and end up with s o m e t h i n g and I am invested and I am hooked and I wanna know where this goes and I wanna help lil Leo and the F Leo who gave up on his dreams and who tries to save himself basically and it's... it's a whole thing ok. Anyway. Imma call it "The Unicorn Paradox" fyi. Yeh. It has a name now. Guess I have to take care of it. Fuck. Yeah.
