Tomura hates those shirts because when people see Izuku, they tend to take their group less seriously, and that pisses him off.

Izuku finds it kind of funny how worked up Tomura gets. Sometimes he purposely makes the shirts as silly as possible just to see Tomura rage about it.

But aside from Izuku just genuinely liking the shirts, they also serve the purpose of making people drop their guards around him - giving him better opportunities to observe and gather information w/o their suspicion.

Doesn't mean Tomura hates the shirts less though.

Coming Up Snake Eyes- Indeed I did write Inko getting shot in the chest by a crossbow bolt, but that was after all four of us agreed to do a bad ending. In fact, I was not even the one who wrote him getting brainwashed like that! That falls onto you as you initially wrote Izuku starting to forget everything; I am certain he would rather actually remember his mother clearly, even if she was mercilessly killed. A greater crime is having him forget.

Night in Day- That Yoichi scene was bound to happen seeing as we had all established that him being trapped in that freaky dream world coma would shatter even the strongest of minds. Stuck in isolation with only one person for company, with no way of knowing what is real or fake, and to then realize the world around him is fake because Izuku called him by the wrong name.... Truly if I didn't write it then I am certain you would have done it in such a deliciously angsty way that it would put my own to shame.

Although you attempting to sic poor sweet Star Wars Izuku on me is cute, but the biggest case of blatant libel. By you making the claim that I came up with the bad ending for the fic "Five Times Darth Omnus Found Out He Had a Son and One Time he Succeeded in Turning Izuku to the Dark Side" when that was blatantly untrue.

I know which timelines I gave you ideas for- the first one where Omnus found his poor defenseless little brother, said brother who was going to soon be killed by Tusken Raiders, and then the second one where Izuku was crowned the Galactic Emperor and would soon grow up to have two boyfriends that annoy the shit out of Omnus.

The rest were all on you, and they were fantastic. But Star Wars Izuku absolutely has more reason to murder you than me.

Apprentice- I actually let him in on the secret of how his fic ends. While he is still upset that so many people had to die and absolutely wishes I didn't go as far as I did, he also knows that if I die before finishing his fic then he won't get a happy ending and instead be stuck in a perpetual limbo where he is forever trapped as the apprentice to a monster.

Safe House- He has more important things to worry about than making an attempt on my life. Plus he didn't bite Mirio or kill a baby All for One, so it's likely he will just give me a look of disappointment.

It's Hachikazu I'm more worried about.

Yeah Boss between Coming Up Snake Eyes, Night In Day, The Apprentice, is it really a question of if an Izuku would want to hurt you, or just, which one would get to you first... you informed your boyfriend izuku in advance, and he even wrote you notes on everything you missed :(

after a tiring school day had ended, he packed his things + a cute extra notebook for your notes and doodles that never failed to put a smile on your face

he quickly changes from his school uniform, planning to head over to your house to check up on you, not forgetting to ask you beforehand

he comes over and is immediately greeted with an embrace from you as soon as you open the door

his poor heart is still not used to the abundance of affection you shower him with, and he always makes sure to return it back (though with more stuttering and heat in his cheeks)

so ten minutes before your boyfriend's bed time and way past your sister's, you had managed to bug him enough to come over your house and help you put her to sleep

your hair is a mess, baby food is splattered on your shirt, and your eyebags are deepening (school works have been piling up), and the first thing katsuki tells you as he steps into your house is, "you look like shit."

you only roll your eyes, a yawn escaping your lips. "thanks, i'm flattered."

your sister is wailing like the baby she is, as she wildy waves around the empty milk bottle in her hand. toys are littered on the floor and baby powder is spilled on the kitchen counter at some point. it looks like a hurricane had passed by your house !

"what were you feeding her?" 

"baby food and two bottles of milk." you sigh, taking the bottle from her hand to wash it

you look over at him, a tired smile straining your lips. "sorry i asked you to come over so late, katsuki." 

"here," his eyes darted everywhere to the walls to avoid your curious eyes, as he gently shoves a plastic of food into your hands. "you can't sleep on an empty stomach."

you take the plastic, the sleep in your face disappearing, your smile widening as you shuffle through its contents. "...and diapers?"

he scoffs, and you're absolutely correct; his cheeks are flushed! "just in case you ran out or something..."

"awww, thank youuu." you giggle, and katsuki clicks his tongue , mumbling a whatever like the tsundere but big softie inside he is

you ask him if he wants to hold your baby sister, and with a sigh, he does

he doesn't want to tell you that he can't bear to see you tiring yourself. as soon as he saw you so worn out and not getting enough sleep like you promised him, he felt his heart clenching painfully. so whatever it is, he'll always do anything for you (even if he acts so annoyed and reluctant most of the time)

there's that constant furrow of his brows and scowl in his lips, but when her cries suddenly cease and her tiny hand holds up to cover his whole thumb as she looks at him with her pretty doe eyes, you see how his own soften and how he seems to freeze for a split second

from the shape of your brows, and to the curve of your cupid's bow, your adorable baby sister truly resembles you

and katsuki found himself silently admiring her, as he sneakily catches a glimpse of you in the corner of his eye, in utter disbelief and amazement on how her eyes slowly flutters shut in the arms of the normally loud boy

This fic is more of a Bakugou brother au then a Todoroki fic, but I love it.

Getting accepted into UA was your greatest dream come true. You’d imagined it happening for years, you’d practically counted down the days until you could take the eligibility test. And when the day came you absolutely killed it, you did better than your twin brother Bakugou.

He had totally freaked out when the results came back. Saying how, “It was rigged,” and, “There’s no way you could’ve done better than me.” But you knew he was happy for you, deep down in his angry heart he was proud to have a sister like you. Your mother constantly told you how much he admired you but may never admit it, even if he was on his death bed.

You didn’t really mind him though, he was your brother and you cared for him. Siblings aren’t ever going to let the other get the upper hand especially under your guys’ circumstances. You both wanted to be hero’s, more importantly the number one hero.

From day one you and Bakugou have competed to be better. It was one thing after another. Your parents even said you two fought for the ‘better rattle’ when you were babies. There’s no sibling duo that shows rivalry better than you two.

But, there was also admiration. You may argue a lot and possess crazy anger issues, yours being way more controlled than his, but you were still joined at the hip. You both didn’t like the same people, both wanted to be hero’s, had a mission to get into UA, and wanted to save people.

The only thing that really bothered you about Bakugou was the fact everyone was afraid of him. He made it hard for you to have friends, and especially boyfriends. Guys have always been scared to even talk to you because of him.

When you got into UA you hoped things would be different. Maybe he’d calm down because he’d reached one of his goals, but no. He still yelled, he still got angry, he still picked on Izuku, and he still tried to boss you around.

The constant drama Bakugou was starting among your classmates was unbelievably tiring. It seemed that he had a problem with just about everyone you talked to, and would yell at anyone who even glanced at you. All you wanted was a good experience at UA and your brother was making it pretty much impossible.

The main reason Bakugou acted the way he did towards certain people was because of you. He’d heard the things boys said about you in middle school and it made him want to rip them to shreds. It didn’t take a genius to know that you were a very attractive girl, and boys naturally gravitated towards you. But with Bakugou in the middle they always backed away.

You used to tell yourself that the one who didn’t back down was the one for you, but it seemed like that day would never come. He was like your personal bodyguard that you didn’t ask for and didn’t want. You even gave up on liking boys pretty quick. You accepted the fact that every guy was going to be scared of your insane brother.

Then you came to UA and met him.

Shoto Todoroki, truly the best looking boy you’d ever seen. He had these two different colored eyes that had you breathless, and his hair looked so soft you just wanted to rake your fingers through it. More so, you wanted to talk to him without Bakugou around.

Todoroki and your brother were constantly at each other’s necks competing, and you were tired of it. There’s no way Todoroki would even consider talking to you knowing your brother practically hated his guts.

“Give me an actual reason why you don’t like Todoroki,” you had asked one day, “and you can’t give me some bullshit response. Tell me what he’s actually done to you to make you so angry.”

Bakugou grunted and narrowed his eyes, “he thinks he’s better than me!”

You had only scoffed at his response before dramirally rolling your eyes, “did he say that to you? Or are you just butthurt that someone might just naturally be stronger than you?”

Yeah, that conversation really pissed him off. All of his responses to you for that next week consisted of aggressive yelling and calling you annoying. Brotherly love, you just couldn’t get enough of it could you?

Today was a new day, it was Friday. So once the day was over you didn’t have to hear Bakugou pick fights with other students for two days. You really valued the weekends, you could shut your room door and be in your own space. Bakugou eventually came to talk to you out of boredom, but was never necessarily mean when doing so. It’s actually the only time he’s somewhat tolerable.

“Can you not be on full asshole mode today, just for me?” you ask, pleading with him.

He only huffed dramatically in response. His fingers were gripping at his backpack straps tightly. Something was wrong with him you could tell. It wasn’t even a twin thing, he was just obviously distressed about something. You had no idea what could already be up with him this early in the morning, but you never knew with Bakugou.

You take your seat, which was right next to your brother, and couldn’t help but glance at Todoroki. He had his chin propped up on his hand and seemed sleepier than usually, but he looked so cute. He felt your gaze and his eyes met yours, and you gave him a small smile. He sleepily smiled back and you felt your cheeks heat up.

When you turned back towards the front you could feel your brothers eyes burning into you with anger. You look at him with a annoyed expression and dramatically say, “What?”

He only ignores, eyes still looking at you as if you know why he’s being like this. But really you had no idea, he expected you to know the root of every single little anger issue he had.

The day went by and he continued to ignore you, and when he would speak it’d be one word laced with attitude. You’ve about had enough of him being like this, especially when you had done absolutely nothing wrong.

Your class was outside doing some training  exercises when you decided enough was enough. You grabbed your twin by the ear and began pulling him away from the group, and they watched in amusement.

“Let go of me you brat!” He says with his ‘scary’ voice, but it was nothing to you. You use your quirk to heat up your fingers and that makes him shut up.

“You’re going to tell me why you’re being and extra bitch today before I embarrass you infront of this whole class!” you whisper yell at him with stern eyes and hands on your hips.

He lightly chuckles at you, “Someone sounds like Mom right now.”

Yep, your angry side is coming out right now. It was only two months into school but your classmates had yet to witness just how angry you can get. It can be way more intimidating than Bakugou, and you sometimes loose control.

Bakugou noticed the anger building up within you and can feel your classmates eyes looking from afar. He knows you’d be so ashamed to let them see you in your worst state. He moves himself so he’s standing in front of you, and the only thing prying eyes can see is his back.

“C’mon (y/n) breath, don’t go all fire bomb on me. Our class would be more scared of you than me,” he says while having his hands grip your shoulders.

Sometimes it was hard for you to come back to reality when he made you this mad, but he knew how to fix it. You took deep breaths but anger still coursed through you. Yes you were calming down and more aware, but punching your brother in the face would definitely do the trick.

“Now tell me what your problem is,” you say through gritted teeth.

You were tired of this. All of the class heard how he had been talking to you and it was stressing you out. You didn’t want to look like his weak sister who let his words walk all over her.

He lets his hold go on you and wonders his eyes around to look at anything but you. He’s acting all weird all of the sudden, hostile. As if what he’s about to say is going to make the situation even worse than it already is.

“I, uh, may or may not have read your journal,” he starts and your eyes widen, “and know that you like Todoroki.”

You can’t even stop yourself before you’re kneeing him in his groan as hard as you can. He drops to his knees and that’s when you take the opportunity to smack him in the face. You guys may fight a lot but he was your bestfriend and you were to him. And the fact he broke your guys’ privacy rule like this pissed you off.

He yells out in pain before dropping to the ground. His hands stay cupped on his center and there’s already a bright red handprint forming on his cheek. Your classmates stare in complete shock, none of them had ever seen you act this way.

Mr. Aizawa wasn’t happy with this little scene. Usually he lets you two talk it out whenever you’re bickering because you’re siblings and that’s just the best way to go. But to disrupt his class this dramatically without a care in the world pissed him off.

The black haired man was already walking towards you two. The whole class couldn’t even say anything. The fact that you just got Bakugou on the ground with two hits was beyond impressive, and you didn’t even have to use your quirk.

“You two, laps around the school until I tell you to stop, NOW!”

For the next hour and a half of school you and Bakugou ran. You lost track of how many times you’d gone around once your head started to pound. He kept trying to talk to you the entire time but you just kept telling him to, “fuck off.”

Not even once in your life had you gotten into your brothers business. If he wanted to tell you he’d do it himself, and you’d rather it go down like that. Finding out something you’re not supposed to know would make you feel like a bad sister. So you knew Bakugou felt like shit right now, and you wanted him to feel that way.

Finally you could come back to class, but the period only had thirty minutes left until the day was over. The classroom was filled with you and your brothers heavy breathing. Also, you both smelled like shit.

“Take the dynamic sibling duo as an example to not disrupt my class,” Mr. Aizawa says, and you wished you could kick him where the sun doesn’t shine.

The bell rings and Bakugou once again tries to talk to you, but you cut him off, “I already have to deal with you when I get home you dick. So the least you can do is let me walk by myself.”

He doesn’t say anything, he only walks away. Bakugou only seems to understand his limit when it comes to you. He knew he went too far reading something so personal. You’d never did anything like that to him, so why would he do it to you?

You keep your head down as you stuff your books aggressively into your backpack. Anyone watching you right now probably thought you were crazy. You feel a presence walk up to your desk and you tighten your jaw.

“Katsuki Bakugou, if you do not leave me the hell alone i’m going to-“ “Um, sorry it’s Todoroki.”

Your breath hitches as soon as you hear his voice. You halt your movements and slowly lift your head up to look at him. He had a blank expression on his face but he obviously had something to say.

“Oh my gosh Todoroki i’m so sorry. I thought you were my brother, well duh I thought that. I’m just so mad at him I assumed he came back after I told him to go away cause he always does that,” you nervously laugh and realize you’re rambling like an idiot. You gulp and quickly zip up your backpack before slinging it over your shoulder.

“Um, do you need something?” you ask as politely as you can.

It takes a lot for you to get nervous, and this boy definitely doesn’t the trick. You’ve talked to him a good amount of times, but all conversations were short lived because of Bakugou. And each time you have talked you said something stupid out of the growing nerves in your stomach. He never seemed to mind though, but you still chewed yourself out about it.

“Yeah, I was wondering if you’d mind if I walked you home?” He asks with a soft smile.

Your heartbeat increased lightening fast and your words got caught in your throat. He’d never ever asked you anything like this, the boy had never even talked to you outside of school functions.

“Of course I wouldn’t mind,” you say with a squeaky voice and your cheeks heat up. You looked like a complete idiot, but thankfully Todoroki thought you were adorable. Only if you knew.

The walk home was nerve racking but Todoroki’s easygoing self calmed you down a lot. He talked about how his dad was the number two hero, how he wanted to do better, and how life was going. He asked you questions as well, in all honesty he seemed more interested in talking about you than him.

He was awful sweet as the walk went on. You’d never met this side of him and you were enjoying it. You even made him blush a few times which blew your mind. You making Todoroki blush? That’s insane!

“Well,” you say sadly, “this is me.”

He glances at your good sized home before looking back at you. He looked as if he wanted to say something but didn’t know how.

“What is it?” You ask concerned.

“Well, I uh,” he purses his lips, “Someone may or may not have told me you had a little crush on me.”

Your mouth fell open and your face reached a full shade of red. His cheeks were red as well, but no where near as bad as yours. You were literally about to panic from how bad your nerves were swirling in your chest.

“I’m going to fucking kill him,” you grunt.

It was so hard to not yell right now. You knew he was inside, probably watching tv with your bag of chips. All you wanted was to slam his face into the concrete where you stood. Obviously kneeing his jewels wasn’t enough.

“No, no. I’m glad he told me,” he waves his hands, “Cause I am interested in you too.”

“You’re what?” you ask completely unconvinced, “He put you up to this didnt he? Is this all some big joke to get back at me for embarrassing him?”

Todoroki doesn’t know what to say. You were visibly getting angry, you kinda looked like Bakugou. Of course angry Bakugou didn’t phase him at all, but a pretty girl he had a liking for was a whole other story.

“No, it’s not! I promise!”

You look into his eyes and see how concerned he is. It takes you a few seconds to remember that Todoroki isn’t a complete jerk like your brother and would never entertain you like this. And even if Bakugou was a jerk he wouldn’t go this far.

“Shit, i’m sorry,” you say while looking down, “I got too in my head.”

That’s twice today that you’ve let someone see your anger that you can barely control at times.

“It’s okay (y/n), really. I understand you’re on edge after today,” he softly smiles, “Would you wanna go get some sushi tomorrow?”

Your frown turns into a smile and you nod. At this point you could scream for joy or beat Bakugou up just for the hell of it.

“I’d like that, a lot.”

“Okay,” he says with the same soft smile that you adored, “I’ll be here tomorrow around seven in the afternoon, is that fine?”

“That’s perfect.”

You walk into you living room and there sits your brother doing exactly what you knew he would be doing. Sitting on the couch with your bag of chips in his lap while watching his dumb show.

He looks at your happy expression and sarcastically smiles with chips stuffed him his mouth. You could tell him was angry, as if he knew what state you’d ben in once you walked in the door.

“Why did you tell him I liked him?” you ask

“Cause I knew he liked you too,” he answers while chip crumbs fly out of his mouth.

You crunch your eyebrows together and sit yourself next to him on the couch. You grab his jaw and yank his head to face you, looking at him suspiciously.

“So somehow you knew he liked me,” you say and tighten your grip on his jaw, “and out of the nonexistent kindness of your heart decided to help your sister out?”

He pulls his face out of your grip and puts another chip in his mouth, “yeah, so what?”

You can’t help but smile. This was his way of apologizing, and it really was the best apology ever. He may be an asshat at times but here he was doing something for you cause he cared, even if he hated every second of it.

“Oh my gosh!” you said loudly, “You love your sister! This is insane!”

Of course you already knew this, you were just being sarcastic to bug him further. He didn’t pay you any attention and continued to watch his show. You could cry cause you were so happy. You had a date and your brother did something nice for you. It was a good day after all, even through all the bad.

You got up with a big smile, “Thank you Baku.”

He only mumbles in response, still not wanting to acknowledge that he did something nice for you. You get up and start walking to your room, but your brothers voice stops you in your tracks.

“(y/n),” he says, “if he breaks your heart i’m breaking his face, and every bone in his body.”

You only giggle at him, “It’s a deal.”

BNHA AU Ideas: Alleycat

TL;DR:  

The story of the Erasure villain: Alley Cat and his heroic kittens. Aizawa, a rather nomadic villain, accidentally acquires two teenagers and a four-year-old. It's not the most conventional family, but it'll do.

villain aizawa: hes incredibly brutal and efficient, kind of an antihero type. he shuts down some things the heroes dont see, patrols the sketchy areas, looks out for children

he kinda,,, accidentally adopted some children

shinsou and izuku were runaways from a terrible foster home that tracked down the 'villain' alleycat and basically said

"are we worth anything to anyone?" and aizawa sees these kids hurt by heroics and takes them under his wing

eri is a kid izuku stumbled upon while out with shinsou before they met aizawa, and izuku basically adopted her straight out, came back to shinsou like "hi we have a little sister now" they are like 12, eri is 4

so aizawa accidentally gets 2 teens and a lil kid and he finds out they lowkey wanna be villains like him bc they wanna help and heroes dont help people like them. aizawa's heart breaks bc he doesn't want these kids to have the life he's had, so he promises to train hitoshi and izuku only if they try for the hero course

they agree. a villain begins to train heroes to enter the very thing that hurt them, with hopes of changing it from the inside out

ok also: in this au whatever horrible thing happened to shirakumo,,,, didnt. and he's 1A's homeroom teacher. hes bright, bubbly and cheerful, with the same expulsion rate aizawa has

so, shirakumo's hero name is cloud nine, hizashi's is feedback, not present mic. they both think aizawa is dead, and separately have to deal with the villain 'alleycat' as his territory intersects w ua's zone

aizawa, as alleycat, is a lot gentler to shirakumo and hizashi, more polite when speaking to them, less brutal with his takedowns. hizashi notices, but says nothing

hitoshi and izuku, with their baby sister eri, end up living with aizawa, training to be heroes to improve them fucked up society that taught them they were worthless in the  first place

he takes them on parkour routes in the early morning, teaches them how to disarm people with knives, to use an opponents size against them.

izuku hones his ability to analyse, hitoshi learns how to push peoples buttons. there is no such thing as a fair fight for them. they break each others noses, chip a tooth or two, get black eyes. there are no hard feelings, they are together through everything

the 4 of them live pretty rough, only on what aizawa can get as a villain/working day shifts in a dodgy bar. aizawa pretends to be their dad for anything legal, says they had two different mothers. it works, somehow.

Some minor cosmetic changes:

Izuku, Hitoshi and Eri all dye their hair black. It started as them quietly wanting to look like their ‘dad’ for sentimental reasons, but they quickly worked out that it made the lie a lot easier for others to swallow.

They all take the surname Aizawa

Eri’s hair is cut into a messy bob – she loves getting Izuku to give her pigtails with the little sparkly hair ties Shouta stole for her. Izuku’s hair is shorter at the back and longer at the front, obscuring his eyes a bit. Hitoshi’s hair is shoulder length and growing, he ties it back in a low bun.

All three of the kids have scars. Eri’s are like canon but a less extreme because her quirk only just showed up. Izuku and Hitoshi have some from bullies, horrible foster parents and reckless sparing. Izuku has a few more little ones because he developed his not-dad’s love of cats and is unafraid of getting bitten – on top of his lack of self-preservation.

they go to aldera middle school, bakugo is still a little shit. to be honest, izuku hates it the most when bakugo burns his uniform - they cant afford to buy extra. there have been a few weeks hes just had to where shinsou's spare and roll the sleeves up

izuku and shinsou have a bit of a spat the afternoon of the sludge villain. it's nothing either of them remembers in a weeks time, but it means shinsou leaves school first, without izuku

bakugo corners him, notebook, allmight, etc

izuku has to ask

all might says no

izuku crumbles, such a dramatic shift from the calm but nice boy he'd been before. you can see the moment his heart breaks. all might feels terrible, but izuku has jumped down the fire escape before he can say anything.

to be honest, izuku is moments away from a full-fledged breakdown. He shoots shinsou a quick text about the villain, but pauses when he hears explosions. He knows the chances its Katsuki are tiny but he’s never been a lucky guy, so he runs towards them

basically the rest of the episode plays out like canon, izuku goes home and meets with his whole ass family panicking because he sent a vague text about a villain then was totally AWOL for 2 hours

hitoshi hugs him really tight while aizawa mumbles something about a tracking chip.

Izuku tells hitoshi about all might, but just tells aizawa vaguely that hes getting a quirk, no he isn’t in any danger, yes he’ll be safe, no he can’t tell you how.

Izuku and Hitoshi both pass the entrance exam with a mix of hero and villain points.

Izuku still doesn’t his whole bone breaky routine but he also manages to take out a few robots by himself before that. He ends up with the highest score.

Hitoshi takes out a few more robots but spends a fair bit of time pushing people out of the way of robots, yelling at people to be more careful about the others around them, and controlling people to get them out of the way of debris. He gets into the top 10.

Nezu is very very interested in the two ‘brothers’ with very different quirks that both did so well. He resolves to keep and eye on them.

Shirakumo is a riot as a teacher but boy is he stressful to be in a class with. The first insult out of Bakugo’s mouth and hes kicked him out of his class, telling him to try class B or get out of the school. (Blood King takes him. Bakugo is a little less horrible to izuku, at least where others can see)

Izukus having a quiet panic attack because Bakugo is going to kill him, and Hitoshi is caught between respecting the balls on their teacher and being pissed at the guy for putting izuku in a terrible position.

No quirk test, they do actually go see the opening ceremony. Hizashi and Shirakumo chat in sign while the principal’s speech drags on. Hitoshi and Izuku watch on, trying not to laugh when they start signing that they want to go to sleep.

Then they do the quirk test bc shirakumo’s a bastard. They end the day with Bakugo kicked out and Hagekure hanging onto her place by a thread. Izuku and Hitoshi come 4th and 5th respectively, despite not being able to use their quirks in the test. Shirakumo is interested.

Skipping to the interesting bits:

The USJ is just as terrible as canon, with the added fact that some of the thugs totally recognise izuku and hitoshi. Izuku works out how to use one for all at 1% during the attack. Hitoshi ends up with a scar on his eyebrow from a person with a claw quirk, Izuku gets a broken arm. Hitoshi sees all might in his skinny form for the first time and is suitably surprized

The sports festival goes a lot like canon in the first round, the second round features a team-up of just Hitoshi as the horse and Izuku as the rider bc they are so used to working with each other they felt it’d be more trouble to have extra team members. They arent exactly wrong and that round ends with them still in control of the 1’000’000 points band – along with a fair few teams just sitting on the sidelines with no idea how they got there.

Tournament round has izuku fighting Todoroki in the second round like canon, but in this universe, he wins (after helping him because whats izuku without a saviour complex). Hitoshi beats Tokoyami and Sero, but loses to Bakugo. The final round is Izuku vs Bakugo, they tie.

The stain arc is a riot. Izuku is interning w Gran, Hitoshi is with Nighteye who happens to be looking for ‘Alley Cat’. Hitoshi is so done with this.

Izuku finds Iida about to be attacked by stain and swoops in. Stain recognises him instantly

“Oh, you’re one of the cat’s kids, aren’t you? Let me deal with this fake hero and you can show me what your dad's taught you.”

Iida is confused – resolves to ask about it later

“You step away from him.”

“What?”

“I said. Step away from Iida. He’s – We’re going to be heroes. We’re both going to be heroes and I won’t let you hurt him!”

Stain pauses, then smiles.

“Lets see if the apple falls far from the tree, hm?” And he launches himself at Izuku

Izuku can dodge with the best of them, but he can’t get close enough to hit stain while protecting Iida. He manages to escape paralysis, but by the time Todoroki arrives stain has barely taken damage.

Todoroki isn’t the only person that responded to that warning. 1 city over, Hitoshi is franticly begging Nighteye to do something, because his brother is in danger. Nighteye is shocked at the fear in the previously apathetic child’s voice. He alerts heroes in the area, and makes his way over with a nervous Hitoshi in tow. On the other end of the city, where he’d been trying to keep an ear out for his kids, Aizawa gets the text and his heart drops. He begins running over.

Stain is taken out before any more help arrives. Without ropes, Todoroki freezes him solid in a block of ice. Endeavour arrives, as does Nighteye with a panicked Hitoshi. Aizawa arrives soon after, perched on a nearby rooftop, ready to whisk his kids away to safety should they need it.

The nomu swoops down, grabbing Izuku. Stain can’t help – trapped in his block of ice. Aizawa runs after Izuku. The nomu drops Izuku off at Shirgiraki’s feet, who is rather delighted to have the annoying boy from the USJ delivered to him out of the blue. He’s not, however, so happy with the knives he finds flying towards him. Kurogiri redirects them and the portal fades just in time for them to come face to face with the villain ‘Alley Cat”

“Well that was a cheap shot Alley Cat, what crawled up your ass and died?”

Aizawa places himself in front of Izuku, teeth bared. Izuku is clutching the leg of his costume. “Don’t hurt him and you won't lose a hand.” Kurogiri goes to attack, but Shigiraki waves him off, letting Aizawa take back Izuku.

“Sir?”

“Don’t you see? There are villains in the hero course. I smell a side quest, don’t you? We might even get some new party members out of it.

Gremlin Izuku

Ok so this is a continuation of this post that @lovelyflowerlov and I are working on. It started as a shitpost and now we’re here and living our best lives. I’m making this separate just because the other is getting too long to scroll through. Click the link for context on the AU

Before some more Battle Trial stuff (which I will get to later) I thought about what exactly Izuku’s quirk and appearance is.

Quirk

Possible Quirk names: Gremlin, Unhinged, Energize

Because we’re having Izuku be a Gremlin Boi™ and thus have, in the words of flower, “Teeth that are even more sharp than a shark, Amazing Bouncy Skills™, never ending enthusiasm, a night owl, and Bastard™ Energy” I say that his quirk is the ability to inhibit the body’s inborn limiters. You know, the things that make it so you don’t tear your muscles from bones everytime you use them. A common example being how your jaw is strong enough to bite off your finger, but your brain prevents you. Mainly basing this off hysterical strength and this video. Izuku can consciously turn this limiter off, both on himself and others. He could chomp his fingers like carrots if he wanted to. But it’s not just muscle limiters

You know that little voice in your head that tells you not to do or say stuff? The social conventions you know to follow, and thus what to do or say? The things that limit your actions? Ya, Izuku’s quirk prevented him from getting that. Though he does kinda have the opposite of it, explained later. He has to actively think about what he can and can’t do in a situation, and sometimes he just forgets or doesn’t understand that there are unspoken “rules” he needs to follow or behaviors he shouldn’t express. When activated on another person, they no longer feel pressured to act a specific way. His quirk also encourages reckless behavior; acting without care for possible harm to self. Izuku has grown up with this urge so he has learned how to fight it off, and actually has remarkable self control to not do 90% of the stuff his quirk tells him to. Not so much the case for people who have this pushed onto them for the first time. Kinda like Trigger and making people act differentenly :)

Example: during the Entrance Exam when he saw Uraraka trapped under gravel and the 0 pointer coming closer, his first instinct was to destroy the robot. To him, the rubble wasn’t the immediate threat and instead the robot that was walking towards her was. Shinsou was the one to convince him to try getting the debris off her first, and go from there. Only after that failed did Shinsou let Izuku enact his insane plan of eating the 0 pointer’s wires (which Izuku then teased Shinsou with the fact it worked and we should have just done that first, Hitoshi)

Because he can use all his muscles whenever he desires, his body naturally has a higher glucose stockpile than normal people to make up for the fact he will use more ATP working a higher volume of muscles (since muscle contractions use energy and glucose is the first energy storage the body burns through). However, he also needs to burn through that energy or else he risks damaging his nerves because of too much glucose in the blood (reason for nerve damage in diabetic people). Thus, he naturally has a higher energy level than other people so he jumps jumps jumps, has never ending enthusiasm, and always likes to be doing stuff. Tapping his foot, twirling his pencil, humming, analysising and writing in his notebook. This does infact burn his energy; mental fatigue is a thing my dudes. This also makes it so he loves to cause chaos, mischief, create pranks, and generally be a little nuisance, since it requires careful planning and energy running around to set it up, but that’s mainly just him being a little Bastard™

Appearance

So I definitely like the idea of him having sharp teeth and being shorter than cannon. I also think this boy would have BIG BONES to make up for the extra stress his quirk puts on them when his muscles are used. This translates into Izuku being a bit more on the chunky side, along with the natural ability to grow big muscles as, once again, a defense mechanism against his quirk. Sum up: he’s that dude that has always been on the bigger side and won’t get stick thin no matter how hard he tries, but when he flexes his arms turn into pure muscle and he can jump over your head from a standing jump. So basically chubby bulky

Also I thing he would be darker skinned since he runs around outside in the sun constantly to burn off energy, so he got at least a tan from all that

Quirk Apprehension Test

So once Flower mentioned that we totally just forgot about this part of the plot, I proceeded to laugh for like 5 minutes over the fact we did. I totally forgot this existed until you mentioned it. My idea is as follows

Aizawa: This test is to gauge your abilities, quirks, and potential to be a hero. You are to use your quirks during the test to increase your scores

Some idiot: This sounds fun! We get to use quirks!

Aizawa: Fun? How about this: whoever comes last gets expelled

Class: *shouting*

Shinsou: *worried because his quirk doesn’t help him physically*

Izuku, manic grin spreading across face and turns to Shinsou: *whispers* I have an idea. I’ll use my quirk to help both our scores

They then proceed to complete the test with Shinsou getting better scores than he should be able to get. Aizawa knows this since, while he doesn’t read the entire file on students so he can form his own opinions, he does look over the basic info of name, photo, and quirk name/description. Shinsou shouldn’t be doing this well, and he also acts differently once it’s his turn to preform. Aizawa sees Shinsou and Izuku being more comfortable with one another than they would be if they just met, and in addition to the fact they were together during the Entrance Exam, he guesses that they’re friends and Izuku is using his quirk to bost Shinsou. During Shinsou’s turn for the ball toss, Aizawa cancels Izuku’s quirk so Shinsou no longer receive its effects and throws the ball a lot shorter than everyone expected

Aizawa, glaring at Izuku: I knew it. You’re using your quirk to help your friend

Izuku, turning and smirking: And? What about it?

Aizawa: I could expel you both right now for cheating and interfering with results of a test

Plus, you only said “use your quirks during the test to increase your scores.” You didn’t forbid using our quirks to affect other people’s scores, nor saying we could only increase our own score.

Battel Trial

Finally back to what this whole things should have been about! Jeez that took forever and I’m starting to get sleepy typing

Based on the pros and cons you gave and also what amusing me the most because I’ve writing this for 5 hours is that the Villains (Shinsou and Uraraka) should win.

Once Izuku gets over the fact he’s having to battle his basically second brother, Shinsou calms him down and tells him it’s fine, just pretend we’re sparing with Tenko again, he gets pumped af to brawl. Maybe a little too hyped up, since it makes his energy levels twice the ridiculous amount they were before and makes him even more jumpy and animated. Iida interprets this as him not taking things seriously and chastises him for it, which pisses Izuku off because he is taking it seriously. It’s just not being expressed in the way Iida expects it to be expressed. So, he’s definitely not as helpful to him as he could be while in the planning phase, and might have made things a bit harder than they needed to be when explaining the blueprint, just to annoy him.

Shinsou and Uraraka don’t have this problem and quickly come up with the idea to put the bomb on the roof. This is so Uraraka can use her quirk to send things high into the sky with only her nausea as the limit instead of the ceiling, and they’ll bring some more ruble and boxes up there too so she has ammo. She’ll try to stay as quiet as she can to guard and hide the bomb while Shinsou is a few levels below to make the heros think the bomb is there.

A trick they have up their sleeves is that Uraraka noticed that the blueprints had really weird airducts (something only she would notice because it’s so minor) and when they went to check it out, the airducts were actually tunnels disguised as airducts. So now the villains have a way of getting around that the heros don’t, and won’t be seen. With Uraraka directing him from the blueprints, Shinsou has his own private hallways! He can definitely use this in combination with his voice changer :)

I’m not too sure how the fight would go down, but some parts I think would happen is Shinsou trolling them from inside the tunnel with his voice changer. I don’t think he would spring the mind control on him just yet, Izuku taught him to have Fun™ afterall, and would switch between Inko’s and Tenko’a voices while messing with him. I just want my baby to create some psychological torture ok Another thing would be them finding the bomb on the roof and when Izuku’s about to grab it, that’s when Shinsou uses his mind control with AFO’s voice. I’m guessing they had some family videos with him in it so that’s how we knew what his voice sounded like.

Like you said when Izuku got controlled he was in a jump so when he fell he breaks out, but at that point Uraraka had moved the bomb and Shinsou is dealing with Iida. They’re running out of time so Iida and Izuku are starting to become a little desperate, so Iida yells at Izuku to use his quirk on him to make him extra fast so he can grab the bomb. He does, but Iida doesn’t expect it to be so powerful since the other times in the exercise Izuku used it on him he was holding back. Iida becomes a knockoff Sonic and shoot towards the bomb way faster than he expected. He didn’t expect to go the speed of Retro Burst without trying, so he overshoots it and ends up falling off the ledge near Izuku. He’s able to catch himself on the roof, but he’s not able to pull himself up without help and he’s starting to slip. Izuku has to pick between the bomb and Iida, and he decides to save Iida. While pulling him back up the timer goes off and the villains win.

Iida thanks him for saving him while Izuku just kinda goes “Duh, I wasn’t gonna let you get badly hurt if I could stop it. Annoy and inconvenience maybe, but not hurt. Of course I picked you. Anyways gotta go bug Hitoshi”

Just because Izuku is a dramatic bitch, while they’re walking back Izuku jumps unto Shinsou’s back and starts rambling to Uraraka and Shinsou about how cool their plan was, asking about the voices in the hallway and Shinsou’s new mask, clarifying some parts of their plan he didn’t get, and just generally being very animated and his talkative, analyzing self. Iida starts to think that maybe he was too quick to judge the green bean

Boku no Hero S4 Thoughts

Some thoughts I’ve had after watching all the way to episode 25 (or episode 88 in the overall series) and I just wanna share them. If you haven’t seen it (dubbed individuals) I suggest you not read it.

1. This season starts out simple enough taking into consideration of All Might’s retirement. And I felt so uneasy about reporters snooping around and putting a student in the spotlight as a possible ‘next symbol’ but! Taneo turned out to be a swell guy and protects part of the big secret between Izuku and All might. By the end of the episode I find myself hoping nothing bad happen to him.

2. Being introduced to Nighteye brought something to my attention that I thought about back in s3 but none of the characters themselves have brought up and that’s the fact that Mirio is A LOT like All Might he has an overly simplified face but he’s a sunshine boy who’s very friendly, chipper, and strong. He blew back the tougher members of class 1-A in a heart beat. I think Mirio is a good idea of what All Migh could have been like in school days.

That being said being introduced to Nighteye the similarities weren’t for nothing. The fact that Mirio was super close to being the successor but it was just by chance All Might ran into Izuku really changes the game. It kinda hurt for see Nighteye outright dismiss Izuku as in his heart he had already considered Mirio as the rightful successor. The disrespect. It was a little charming he was a big of All might. Also with Nighteye’s intro came the chilling prophecy of All Might dying. It’s been brought into the void by a guy who can see into the future so even though he prophacized Izuku dying in the Eri rescue mission and it didn’t come true I think this one will be true. I’m not ready to see how this death will come about I just know it will hurt both me and Izuku Lastly, with how protective of my green sonI am, I can’t say I was too sad Nighteye died (I cried for Mirio’s sake though).

3. I love the attention this season was giving to other class members. I’m sure if I would stop being trash and read the manga I would have gotten more detail than I was given. But I really love getting a deeper dive into Kirishima. I thought it was neat to see which hero he looked up to, part of where his hero name came from a hero called Crimson Riot. Like dude dyed his hair and everything when he enters UA because he wants to reinvent himself. I like that it’s okay to be scared sometimes but part of being a hero is going for it anyway. I liked that Mina was in his middle school as well. I think it’s neat to have an idea of what she’s like back then as well. Also the moment where he goes onto unbreakable mode in his one on one fight with a villain. I’m proud of him later on in the arc when he’s in the Eri rescue mission. Overall 10/10 proud of him.

4. Okay I got some feelings to say. It’s common knowledge there’s not a lot of poc representation in anime. Most of the time, depending on the genre, they’ll be characters with unnatural skin color like green or blue and the blerd community will claim that character as a poc. However like flat out this character being black doesn’t come around too often. So to say the introduction of Rock Lock was a pleasant surprise. He was a bit annoying in the hero meeting to save Eri and his quirk wasn’t all that impressive (unless there’s manga details I’m missing) but I’m just glad he’s a black character and he looks really natural. Now as a black woman who has been watching anime since I was a small child, not having characters that look like me didn’t hinder my experience but seeing a black hero in this show for a bit was still very pleasant.

5. Overhaul...so I got a sneak peak back in s3 but seeing him in action. I’m not sure what my thirst community sees in this man. He’s ok looking but if I had to choose a villain to thirst on it would be Dabi. This man has no regards for human life. Like sure it started off wanting to pay back the yakuza boss who saved him but dude! Eri is the boss’ biological granddaughter! He should have been spoiling the hell out of Eri but instead he’s slicing this girl wide open and using her as a lab rat. Sickening! And according to the flashbacks the anime provides it really looked like he got petty and threw a tantrum when boss told him to stop playing these games and used his quirk to put the boss in a coma to take over to execute his plan. To be fair it’s a damn good plan and he would make so much money selling quirk canceling drugs to villains and quirk restoring drug to heroes. I also like that this is a direct result of All for One being taken out of the game reminding us that All Might and All for One were symbols for their respective sides and things are being set into motion because both leaders are gone. But at the end of the arc the little shit got what he deserved lost both of his damn hands. I do feel bad for the old man though, sure he was a yakuza boss but he was minding his own business just living life and will prob remain in a coma (unless manga stuff happens idk)

6. Eri, this baby girl has been through so much in her short life. She has a powerful life altering quirk she can’t control just yet. I think this is the first child character in a long time that hasn’t annoyed me. She deserves the world and how by the end of it she’s put in Aizawa’s watch to keep her quirk in check I can see where a lot of these Dadzawa headcanons are coming from. I also love how she has Mirio and Izuku as her big brothers and she’s just cute in every way I just....I adopted a daughter mentally. So when I say when she finally smiled I was just....over the moon I was up at 4am crying over this girl who spent her life being tormented and experimented on smile for the first time. And then it didn’t help that Izuku was in tears as she was excitedly talking about the performance and someone please save me from the overload of these kids.

7. Lastly I should talk about Mirio. This season focused a bit on the big 3 since making their debut in s3 which I enjoyed. But I mean Mirio is a pretty swell guy. He is All Might 2.0 imo. I initially worried what that would mean for Izuku as the next #1 hero. Since it’s implied Future Izuku is narrating we know he becomes #1 and the show is just his journey to getting there. Still I wonder how competitive to the top spot would be? He is the hero that has that smile-y persona that I think Izuku was going to (but has trouble with smiling in tough situations bless his heart) but I think with this guy in place Izuku will have to be a hero that only he can be, he can’t be exactly like all might. One because All might is All might and I think if anyone can get that close is Mirio. He’s also a little goofy which I find to be charming, I mean who doesn’t like a funny guy right?? I like the season takes time to show how hard he’d work towards being a hero with his quirk that’s apparently hard to manage according to his father. He worked at it and he’s on par with active pro heroes as that has been pointed out already. Now the fact he loses his quirk had been spoiled some time ago which I’m salty about but my heart broke anyway. But I have mad respect and admiration because he kept fighting even without his quirk. Now on his last breath, Nighteye used his quirk on Mirio and saw Mirio had a bright future ahead so I’m not sure if he can be a hero without it or, as people have hinted in the show, once Eri has gained more control and can rewind back to where his body has a quirk, it is possible considering the drug is a result of her powers. I wonder how long that will be for her to get to that point. Mirio will be behind his own classmates. As of right now, he’s an excellent big bro for Eri though. They are adorable together.

Aizawa dialed a number, “Nemuri, are you busy right now?”

“...Shouta?” A sleepy voice sounded through the phone. “Why the fuck are you calling me at this hour of the night?”

He hesitated, “I...” He glanced down at the sleeping child on his lap, “Something came up, but if you’re busy…”

“What’s wrong?” Kayama sounded more awake, the sleepiness leaving her voice.  

He frowned, before spilling the story, “Inko came over a couple hours ago with a baby. My son, apparently. I’m alone right now and I don’t have anything, I-”

He broke off, stopping in order to quell the rising panic building up inside of him as the reality of the situation began to set in.

“I’ll be right there, Shouta. I’ll grab some supplies on the way, too.” She paused, before continuing, her voice purposefully soft, “Shouta, everything will be ok. I’ll be-”

Aizawa closed his eyes, ignoring the fact that Kayama was using the same soothing tone she used when she was trying to calm down victims. “Ok.” His voice sounded distanced as he answered Kayama. “Thank you.”

Aizawa opened the door, letting out a small sigh of relief when he saw who was on the other side. He forced himself to look up, “Thanks for coming, Nemuri. I don’t know what I would’ve done otherwise…”

Kayama looked at Aizawa’s tense posture and softened, patting the younger’s shoulder before walking into the living room in order to place the baby supplies she brought on the table.

“Sit down, Shouta. You look like a fucking statue due to how rigid you are.”

Aizawa scowled, but moved to sit down on the couch anyways. “Well, I have a good reason for seeming fucking tense, don’t I?” He let out an irritated huff.

Kayama ignored Aizawa’s statement, letting out an exasperated sigh at the younger’s actions before moving to sit down next to the other. She smiled when she caught a glimpse of the child that Aizawa was holding carefully, despite his turbulent emotions. “He looks just like you.”

Aizawa nodded, relaxing slightly when he glanced at his child. “His name’s Aizawa Izuku. I’m…” He ducked his head, swallowing the sudden lump that appeared in his throat. “I’m going to be taking full custody of him.”

Kayama widened her eyes slightly in surprise, “What about Inko? I thought-”

Aizawa interrupted Kayama, his voice sounding harsh even to himself, “That won’t be happening.”

Kayama studied Aizawa, a deceptively blank look on her face, before nodding. “Ok.”

Aizawa looked at Kayama in surprise, “You’re not going to ask me anything?”

Kayama sighed, rolling her eyes, “Shouta, honey, even if I did interrogate you, that wouldn’t solve anything. The most important thing right now is Izu-chan’s well-being and your feelings. Questioning you against your will won’t result in anything, but pushing you away.”

She narrowed her eyes, a dangerous gleam shining, “Besides, I’m not an idiot. I can deduce what happened.” She ignored Aizawa’s tense posture, and met Aizawa’s guarded eyes, “I’m not happy right now, Shouta. Not at how little Izu-chan was treated, and especially, not at how you were treated.”

Aizawa frowned, turning away.

Kayama let out another sigh at Aizawa’s uncomfortable posture, “I won’t go too in depth about it, but Shouta, you’re like a little brother to me.” She paused, a smirk appearing on her face, “An annoying little sibling who worries me senseless because of your personality, but a little brother nonetheless and it’s an older sister’s responsibility to beat up whoever is bothering their little siblings.”

Aizawa stared at Kayama with a deadpan expression, “It’s not herolike to hurt civilians, Nemuri.”

Kayama raised an eyebrow, smirking, “That’s the part that you had a problem with?”

Aizawa froze, and forced himself to keep his gaze from lowering, resolutely ignoring the small flush that appeared on his cheeks. He let out a small scowl when Kayama burst into loud laughter, opening her mouth, to inevitably tease him more.

“Shut up. You’re going to wake Izuku up.”

This statement finally caused Kayama to quiet down. She smiled smugly, realizing what Aizawa was trying to do, but took the bait. She leaned forward to look at the sleeping child that laid peacefully in Aizawa’s arms. "He's adorable." She brushed a small strand of hair away from Izuku’s forehead, cooing, "Hi Izu-chan! How'd a cute little thing like you be related to grumpy Shou-kun?" She smirked when she felt Aizawa's half-heartedly glare at her. "Meet your Auntie Nemuri. You'll be seeing me a lot from now on."

Aizawa sighed, "Unfortunately."

Kayama let out a small chuckle, before her expression sombered, "I’ve been joking around like this a lot, but how are you taking all of this? Are you ok, Shouta?"

Aizawa frowned and glanced down at Izuku, his gaze softening, "Of course, I'm out of my comfort zone, but I'll do my best to look after Izuku."

I'm terrified. I've never experienced anything like this before, and I don't know if I can do it. I'm scared, but at the same time, I feel happy. I'm probably not the best father for Izuku, and he deserves someone better, someone who can take care of him properly, but I'll always be there for him, no matter what happens.

He trembled, feeling overwhelmed as he gazed at Izuku.

Aizawa startled slightly, when Kayama leaned over to ruffle his hair gently. He flushed, he didn't know what expression he had on his face, but it must've been bad considering the mixture of worry and displeasure on Kayama's face. She smiled, "Don't worry, Shouta. You'll have me and Hizashi to help out around here and both of us have experience with babies, so if you need any advice, or babysitting help, we're here for you. So stop worrying. Everything's going to be ok."

Aizawa stared at her before giving a small, rare smile, ducking his face to hide it. "Yeah..."

Yamada jumped up when he heard the door crash open. He instinctively jumped into an attacking position, but paused when he saw who it was. "Nemuri?" He laughed, "What, so it's just you! Jeez, don't scare me like that."

Kayama rolled her eyes, glancing at Yamada teasingly, "Maybe you should pay more attention around you then, idiot."

Yamada pouted, "Hey! I did, you're lucky my reaction skills are on point, or I would've accidentally attacked you." He ducked, letting out a small yelp when Kayama suddenly reached over to swat his head. She smirked, "Oh? You're right. Your reflexes aren't that bad."

Yamada sulked, "What are you even doing here, Nemuri? Not that I don't enjoy your presence or anything, just wondering." He added hastily when Kayama turned to glared at him warningly.

She sighed, her smirk falling off her face as she turned to Yamada, "It's about Shouta."

Yamada jumped, a worried expression on his face, "Shouta? What, did something happen? Is he hurt? Did you catch him hiding another one of his injuries? Is he having nightmares? Is he upset? Stressed? I know his recent case was a tough one. Or maybe-"

He stopped rambling when Kayama raised a hand, glancing at the younger man with fond exasperation. "If you'd give me a chance to explain, I will." She paused, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "It isn't anything like that. Inko recently came and visited Shouta. She had a child with her, their son. I'm not entirely clear about all of the details, but Shouta called me in a panic a week ago, asking for help, and saying that he was going to take full custody of Izuku."

Yamada stopped, surprise washing over him as he took in the new information. "Wow. That's...a lot. How's Shouta taking this? And why didn't he tell me about this? I could've helped babysit the little tyke. I know how much work babies can be, especially if you're a single parent."

Kayama let out an annoyed sigh, crossing her arms. "That's actually what I'm here about. Shouta's being stupid again. I thought I got it into his brain already, that it's ok to ask for help and not take everything in for himself. But, nooooo, he just has to be all reserved and shit and pretend to act all stoic and isolated and angry, but I know that he's just afraid that he'll be burdening himself onto others."

Yamada frowned, "What the hell, Shouta?" He continued, his trademark smile missing from his face, "For someone who enjoys being logical and smart all the time, he can be a real idiot. Don't worry, Nemuri, I'll go over and beat some sense into him."

He paused, a sudden thought entering his head, "Wait, why's Shouta taking full custody of little Izuku, anyways? Did something happen to Inko? I know that she's too nice to leave him. She wouldn't do something like..." He trailed off when he noticed the furious expression on Kayama's face. "What?"

Kayama scowled, "Shouta wouldn't tell me anything about her, and I probably shouldn't even gossip about her if I don't know the entire truth, but it looks fairly obvious to me that Inko walked out on Shouta."

Yamada stopped, shocked, "What? I don't believe it. Inko's too nice and-"

Kayama interrupted Yamada, grimacing, a look of anger on her face. "I know, I don't want it to be true either. And if I didn't see Shouta firsthand that night, I probably wouldn't have believed it either." She stopped, rubbing her face tiredly as the anger slowly leaked out of her system, "But, god, Hizashi. You didn't see or hear Shouta that night. He didn't seem anything like himself. His expression, his voice. He was trying so, so hard to seem strong, to seem casual, for me and Izuku, maybe for Inko even. It didn't work though, he was trembling and his voice was raw and his eyes were red and it was obvious he had been crying. And, his face. It...he looked so hurt and sad and I played along with him and pretended I didn't notice, because otherwise, he would've shut me off, but I just-"

She stopped, a sad expression on his face. "I hated seeing this and pretending, being unable to fix anything and I was angry. I even brought my theories up and Shouta never refuted it so." She sighed, "I know that even though Shouta never rebuked it, he never confirmed my thoughts either. But, what else can I think? Shouta was sitting there hurting and alone with his kid, and Inko wasn't even there to help him." She frowned, "I guess, I also wanted someone to be angry at, and Inko was the obvious solution. I..." She looked away, "Something hurt Shouta, and I wanted to hurt someone else back."  

Yamada frowned, looking at Kayama determinedly, "Even so, we can't jump to conclusions about this, or worse, spread rumors without knowing the full truth." He sighed, "Knowing Shouta, and how emotionally awkward he is about his own feelings, he'll probably never officially confirm or deny anything." He shrugged, "That's not even the most important thing right now. The best thing to do at the moment, is be there for Shouta and Izuku. But if we do find out the truth..." He paused narrowing his eyes, bristling protectively, "And Inko did hurt him and little Izu-chan, then she better watch out."  

Kayama nodded solemnly, a dangerous glint in her eyes as she pondered the possibility.

"Oiiiii, Shouta! It's been a while! Long time no see!"

Aizawa stopped, pushing the stroller inside and staring at the figure that was lounging on the couch casually. His eye twitched, "What. We literally saw each other three days ago, Hizashi."

Yamada pouted, "Yeah, but you've been ignoring all of my messages lately and it's been hurting my feelings a little bit. So, I came to visit you!"

Aizawa eyed him suspiciously, saying sarcastically, "Of course that's why you're here. Not for any other reason at all."

Yamada hummed thoughtfully, before shaking his head, dropping the exaggerated act. "Nope, that's not the real reason I'm here. It was just an excuse." He walked briskly towards the stroller, ignoring Aizawa's wary glare. He knew that the other was just irritated and stressed out about the entire situation, and held no real animosity towards him. His eyes softened as he saw the sleeping child who was suckling on a pacifier quietly. He knelt down to get a closer look at the baby, and smiled. He glanced back up at Aizawa, "He's so cute, Shouta. Congrats."

Aizawa blinked and nodded, his lips quirking up slightly, "He's adorable. I'm lucky to have him."

Yamada glanced at his best friend, rolling his eyes, "He's lucky to have you as his father too, Shouta." His eyes softened, "I know, I'm lucky to have you as my friend."

Aizawa averted his gaze, "Thanks, you...haven't been that bad either." He quickly continued on, ignoring the gleeful expression on Yamada's face, "But, I think you're wrong. I'm not, how can I be a good father, when I don't even know what the hell I'm doing."

Yamada rolled his eyes, chuckling softly, "Shouta, it's ok if you don't know how to do anything, and it's ok if you're not the best father ever. What does matter, is that you be there for little Izu-chan, and support him, and try your best. Besides, you have me and Kayama here to help raise Izuku too." He smirked, continuing, "Between the three of us, with you as his father, Kayama as his aunt, and me as the greatest uncle ever, Izuku's going to be the happiest little kid in the world."

Aizawa widened his eyes slightly, before he shook his head, letting out a small huff of amusement. He crouched down beside Yamada, glancing down at his son lovingly,  "Idiot. Before you talk about the future, think about the present."

Yamada raised an eyebrow, glancing at Aizawa with mock offense, "Aren't you being a little hypocritical, Shouta? You've been staying here and trying to take everything on yourself again." Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Aizawa tense up, "I don't know how to get this into your thick skull, but me and Nemuri are here for you. And think about little Izuku. We have experience with babies as Nemuri has like a billion nieces and nephews, and I used to babysit all the time before I become a hero. We could've given you useful tips that would've not only help you, but also help Izu-chan."

Yamada stared at Aizawa, noting that the other was nodding thoughtfully, as a small, shame-filled frown appeared on his face.

He sighed, leaning over to flick his friend's head gently, "It wasn't just that, Shouta." Yamada frowned, a slightly hurtful expression on his face, "Both..." He stopped, "I care about you. Do you know how worried I was when Nemuri told me what happened? I thought that you were going to self-destruct again by shutting us off, and I was worried that you would hurt yourself. I was, do you know how guilty I felt? That my best friend was guilty and in pain, and I was blissfully oblivious to it, that I wasn't there for you?"

Aizawa frowned, biting his lower lip, his chest wrenching when he saw the sad expression on Yamada's face because he did know how it felt. This was the pain he felt when Inko first told him about Izuku.

Yamada sighed, stopping his rant when he noticed the expression on Aizawa's face. "Just...please, don't ever do that again, Shouta. Just know that I'm here for you, and you don't have to take everything on yourself." He smiled, "We can split the burden together, ok?"

Aizawa's eyes softened slightly as he looked up at Yamada's genuine expression, and he nodded. "Ok."

Yamada looked at Aizawa with the same soft expression, patting the other man on the shoulder, before a shit-eating grin appeared on his face. "Good. Because I'm coming over everyday to see Izu-chan."

Aizawa froze, "You can help me babysit sometimes, but you don't need to come everyday. Once every two weeks will suffice."

Yamada pouted, whining, "What? Shouta, that's not fair, how will I get through my day, knowing that my awesome little nephew didn't get to see his cool uncle, though. I'm gonna visit everyday and that's that." He paused considering, "It's too bad you didn't tell me earlier, though. Two days ago, the toy store had this great sale on all of their items, and I could've bought so many gifts for Izu-chan."

Aizawa stopped, horror starting to set in as he realized how much Kayama and Yamada would spoil Izuku, now that they were both aware of him, "Hizashi, no."

Yamada ignored Aizawa, letting out a little squeal when he saw that Izuku was stirring, "Hi, Izu-chan! I'm your uncle Hizashi! Oh my god, you're so goddamn cute, I'm so lucky to have to best, cutest, little baby nephew-"

"Hizashi."

"And I'm going to buy you so many gifts. So many toys, maybe a nice portable tv, that would go nicely in your crib. You can watch some educational videos-"

"Hizashi."

"And if you wanna be a hero, I can get you a recommendation to Yuuei, that's my alma matter, and-"

"HIZASHI."

"You're so adorable, and I'm going to hang out with you everyday, because-"  

Aizawa activated his quirk.

Yamada screamed.

Izuku let out a happy giggle, pleased that his uncle and father were getting along nicely.

Bonus:

“SHOUTA!”

Aizawa slammed the phone down. He let out another irritated sigh when the phone rang again, “Hizashi. This better be something important. You already called me twelve times this morning to coo about Izuku.”

“But, Shoooooouuuuutaaaa, I can’t help it, it’s not fair that you get to see Izu-chan every day, but I only get to see my favorite baby nephew every other day and you won’t even accept my requests for video-chats so that I can see the little cutie and-”

Aizawa hung up the phone, huffing with annoyance. Izuku paused, glancing up at his father to tilt his head in confusion at the noise. His eyes were wide open, and his tiny, rosy, chubby cheeks were puffed out as he stared up at his father with an innocent face.

Aizawa stopped and glanced down at the expression on his son’s face. He slowly raised a hand to grip his heart, before swiftly taking a picture of Izuku. He hesitated a bit, before sending the picture out to Hizashi. The other man did help him a lot with Izuku, so he supposed he deserved this much.  

Hizashi: ?!?!??!?111111!!!!!!!

Hizashi: asdfasoiawoeifroaiaosdfawef

Hizashi: SHOUUTA?!?!? wHAT?? SO cuTEEEEE

Hizashi: WHAAAAAAAA!!!! I’m SCrEAMing

Aizawa glanced at his phone, before smirking triumphantly. He leaned over to gather Izuku into his arms, pecking Izuku’s cheek affectionately, “C’mon Izuku, it’s time to eat dinner, now.”

Hizashi: I can’t

Hizashi: I’m coming over

Aizawa stopped. “Fuck.”

Chapter 3

TL;DR:  On the run from houses they never called home, Bakugo and Izuku make some unlikely friends and make the worlds least conventional steps towards being heroes. 

They'll be amazing.

Bakugo and izuku were a little closer than in canon

when izuku's quirk didnt come in bakugo didnt jump straight to being mean and izuku didnt develop like, most of his issues because his best friend didnt abandon him

but everyone turned against the "quirkless weirdo" and when bakugo didnt leave him? they turned on him too

bakugo was a "villain in the making" or was crazy, scary, or "the weirdo's rabid dog" and he tries to play it off, like it doesnt bother him, but izuku gets angry, not that people are talking shit about him, but that they are coming after bakugo just for being a good person

not getting into canon, but in this au mitsuki is really abusive. inko is absent/neglectful because shes upset her husband divorced her and works nights as a nurse

so, the start of junior high, aged 11 and 12, izuku and katsuki run away because honestly anything is better than what they've been living though

as pretty cute kids they get pity food but they look so young no one will employ them

then they meet Touya, who for the sake of this AU is 17 at the time

so dabi runs into these 2 kids that look the same age as his little brother, one of which tried to blow him up within 20 secs of meeting him and the other was hiding behind a dumpster

and hes just like,,, "shit i cant believe i have 2 little brothers now"

that is cemented when he finds out izuku, hiding behind the dumpster? ya boy had a knife and was katsuki's backup

so dabi shows up where he knows these kids hide, he brings them food bc they are getting really thin, brings a new coat for katsuki bc he didnt have anything, teaches izuku how to use his knife better and sharpens it for him

he tells them about stain about corrupt heroes, and about his dad and katsuki and izuku latch onto this

katsuki's mum wished his quirk was "less violent" and that hed never be a hero because he was too scary and izuku's dad threw him away the second he realized his kid was Quirkless

and so izuku and katsuki decide they want to meet stain

dabi gives them some change and his email so they can contact him if they ever need to, and they set out for hosu (why is stain in hosu even tho it doesnt follow canon timelines? because i like hosu and i like tensei)

so in this au, stain skipped forward a bit, attacking hosu in some of his first rounds of hero purging

izuku and katsuki catch wind of a "cover up" by iidaten but izuku quickly realizes it was faked by another hero agency to try and get iidaten’s funding cut

and then they get a terrible feeling because thats the kinda thing that would cause stain to go after a hero so they end up running across hosu every night, taking turns to try and cover tensei as they look for stain

izuku and katsuki find stain over tensei, about to deliver the final blow and katsuki freezes because, stain is really scary and he has a bad vibe around him that almost made endeavour puke

but izuku throws himself inbetween tensei and stain

and stain is a little annoyed, but mostly impressed this scrawny kid is trying to stand up to him but then izuku tells him the scandal was faked and lays out every detail while hes pouring with tears because "ingenium is a good hero chizome"

and stain is like

wAIT WHY DOES A 10 YEAR OLD KNOW MY NAMe

(the answer? Dot connecting, the UA sports festival, and Steinhal. our boy is a smart cookie!)

at this point katsuki snaps out of his fear and tells stain he'll set off the loudest explosion he can manage if he doesnt step away from "one of the real heroes" and stain is honestly? pretty shook

so he does

and he just kinda, vanishes into the night

and izuku and katsuki swear because thats the guy they have been looking for for 2 weeks and they are out of food money and they just wanna get back to mutsutafu already so they start running after him

by the end they are freezing, 1AM and izuku is honestly worried about katsuki bc he gets cold easier because his quirk makes him sweaty even when he isnt hot and stain just takes pity on these kids and just kinda asks them is they have anywhere to go

izuku starts sobbing again because thats the kinda person he is, and katsuki tries to tell stain to go fuck himself but his teeth are chattering so hard he almost bites his tongue

stain just kinda sighs because god these kids remind him of Touya

and he laughs as izuku deadlifts a complaining katsuki and asks stain where hes gonna take them

also please: a subplot in this is tensei trying to work out who the kids that saved his life were

and he finds hospital records of katsuki and izuku for various brusies and broken bones

and sees that they havent been at school for 3 months, but also sees that no missing reports have been filed

and hes really upset because these kids are his little brothers age

anyway, after stain saves them from freezing they tell him ab how they cant be heroes but they wanted to be like him

and stain tells them they would make great heroes anyway and they cry

(at this point the AU changed from what was going to be a villain duo au into a vigilante au because its Soft AU Hours)

so, when they get back to mustutafu they meet up w dabi who says he has a present for izuku

(dabi said he join the leauge if afo gave izuku a quirk, and afo is interested to see how this goes so he said yes)

he would have joined the league anyway but he wanted to do his honorary little bro a solid if he could

afo was read to give izuku a kinda meh quirk honestly because the kid was going to want to be a hero and thats just bad business sense

then he finds out stain is fond of them and he pauses bc, thats pretty odd

then izuku walks in, is greeted by kurogiri and he bows to him bc hes a polite kid and afo is starting to like this child

izuku then tells shigiraki that he likes his shoes and shigiraki looks pleased with himself

so afo turns on the monitor and says hello and izuku pauses for a second and says

"sensei right? are you hurt? Why else would the video be off… oh sorry! I ramble when im nervous"

and afo just kinda,, "oh lord this child is sharp" so he chats with izuku a while and hears about how kids hurt him for being qurikless and afo kinda relates because people tried to murder him for having a quirk in the first place (i then ran through like 30 quirk ideas trying to work out the one I wanted to give him oops)

all for one gifts him the quirk guardian: can create hard light barriers. the more ambient light at the time of creation, the stronger the construct

he has the quirks perfect counter anyway, blackout: remove all light in a area, so hes not worried.

he works with katsuki to create barriers at the moment katsuki lets out explosions to maximise the strength

they start working as vigilanties

these lil baby 12 year olds and dabi is a big concered bro so he gets them some platform boots to make them look taller and masks to hide their voices

they wear big baggy hoodies bc they take them impacts and hide how thin they are

because they work at night they see aizawa a lot and aizawa is kinda confused because they have some pretty legit looking gear (big bro touya) so hes not sure if they are new heroes or not

izuku like, maybe stalked aizawa a little and found out hes a teacher at UA and izuku is so impressed and starstuck over this underground hero

katsuki is just grumbling because hes really impressed too but emotions are lame

izuku gets really hurt and katsuki knows this bitch is in trouble but he doesnt know what to do

katsuki asks eraserhead for help n aizawa is like "what going on??? are you a villain?" and katsuki rips off his mask, and is visible a super underweight 13 year old and aizawa just kinda feels his heart sink

and katsuki is trying not to cry and hes begging aizawa for help and aizawa is like "ahhhh fuuck I have 2 sons now"

vigilantes izuku and katsuki becoming wards of UA bc aizawa found them and has a deep seated hatred of the foster system

and the teachers just kinda accidentally adopt them

they take the ua entrance exam and manage to tie for first place, bakugo is all villain points and izuku got 50/50 rescue/villain points

and they have their letters playing at the same time as they hide in an alley way and the both start crying

because they really can be heroes
