our little secret ৻ꪆ — jimmy uso.
+millytober+
*this is the PERFECT gif to describe this story actually. 🙂↕️ i wasn’t gonna post this actually, but im tew excited for it. i can’t help myself. so here is a treat<333*
this is HEAVILY influenced by @whatdoeseverybodywant all falls down series . def give a read! <3
warnings: cheating, brothers girlfriend, p in v, pet names, creampie, semi public sex, oral sex; male receiving, fingering, sneaking around, MDNI 18+.
parings: jimmy x black!reader x mentions of jey uso & naomi.
such a promiscuous girl you were; slobbing on the dick of the one person, your boyfriend trusted in the world…as he was in a deep sleep right next to you with his arm resting behind you. jon nearly drew blood from biting his lip so hard, fighting to keep quiet not to wake up jey.
“ahh” he shakily breathed out into the air as the movie played in the background, you taking his dick all the way to your tonsils. silently, thanking god, you didn’t have a gag reflex. “eat that dick up, bae.”
you couldn’t remember how the hell you got here. all you could say was that, jey would murder you if he woke up to seeing his twin brothers dick inside your throat. for the last 2 months, your affair was becoming a lot to handle. you loved naomi, she was someone you trusted; she nearly seen you as a sister. and you loved your man, he gave you the upmost princess treatment. yet, you’d never miss out on a night to come home from a motel pumped full of his twin brothers cum, leaking into your panties, and than letting jey pump you with his.
sounded like a win win situation, right?
sleeping with him under the radar was a mission; sneaking into each others hotel, fucking in janitor closets when you were on the road with jey during his matches, his car, sneaking off to the bathroom to let him fuck his cum into you during dinner with the family. the both of you spent the most time together when jon was injured — naomi and jey both away on the road.
but it wasn’t just adrenaline either, jon was also the sweetheart; sending you expensive bags, jewelry, paying for shopping sprees, or your hair, and nail appointments. sending you texts to brighten your day. he was the perfect man.
your hand reached to fondle his heavy balls, wanting him to reach his nut before this all was over — you’d have to wake up jey to go to bed and jon would have to leave, ending your session.
your jaw began to ache. you gave his balls a firm tug, feeling his dick twitch and jerk against your tongue before he shot his thick ropes of cum into your mouth. his head thrown back against the couch, with his fist tightly covering his mouth taking in his moans. you didn’t miss the subtle shudder of his body as you continued to suck him off, milking him for all he’s worth.
his hand tangled into your hair pulling his saliva covered dick from your mouth, “open.” he mouthed, with a smirk
on command your mouth opened, sticking your tongue out and showing his un-swallowed cum. a sinister grin planted on his face seeing the remainder of your affair on your tongue.
he let a glob of spit fall into your mouth, using 2 fingers to push it to the back of your throat. you closed your mouth and sucked on his fingers the same way you did his dick. pulling them out, he smacked his lips to yours. both of your tongues slipping and sliding around. the kiss did something to him.
he knew it was risky — too much movement could potentially could wake up jey. but the urge to bury himself deep into your pussy was stronger.
“no, no, no.” you whispered, pushing away his hand as he reached for your boy shorts
“he aint gone wake up. c’mere. missed this pussy so much, bae.” you turned to see jey’s head thrown back and loud snores coming from his mouth
“he’s right nex—“
“shhh. c’mere, baby.” he slipped his tongue back into your wet mouth as he yanked your shorts off your legs. not breaking the kiss he pulled you to straddle him “show daddy how bad you want this dick. nothing but a slut fa’ me.” pulling your panties to the side, you adjusted yourself before easing yourself down onto his dick.
you placed your face into the crook of his neck, letting out a small whine at the entry. jon’s teeth latched themselves onto your clothed shoulder, the feeling of your pussy clamping around him surging through his body. he reached over to grab the remote turning the movie up a bit, making sure any sounds the two of you would make could be drowned out.
his hands gripped your plush hips, moving you up and down at a steady pace. jon had to fight hard at the urge to pound into you to end this quickly. he had to take his time; you were right. his brother was literally right next to you, and here he was fucking the love of his life about to flood his cum deep inside her.
“jon. ughn — right there.” you sobbed out into his neck
“right here?” he pulled you closer and swiveled his hips, his pelvic area rubbing against your clit making you let out a moan. jon immediately latching a hand over your mouth to remind you of jey sleeping…just right next to you. both your movements stilled to make sure he didn’t wake up. after the hard snores gave away he was still fast asleep, you started moving up and down on his dick again and bouncing your ass, like a bitch in heat in his lap again.
jon marveled at the scene before his very eyes. watching your loose yourself, eyes rolling backwards, so close to cumming, and fucking yourself on his dick. all he had to do was sit back — and make sure his brother didn’t wake up of course. you pushed his hands away from your mouth, to lean down and flick your tongue inside of his. the taste of him triggered something inside of you. the familiar tightness in your belly returned.
he desperately latched onto your lips and started to suck on them like a starved man. barely reciprocating the affection; the pleasure becoming overwhelming, your mouth was opened wide in complete bliss.
your pussy started to twitch, as his dick massaged your walls, continuously bouncing in his lap, making his dick kiss your cervix, and making note to squeeze when you reached his tip. you were throbbing so much, it began to feel painful. you wanted him to pound into you and fill you with his cum till it couldn’t fit anymore, the idea causing your wetness drenching his dick, making him slide in and out so easy. his reached his hands around, taking a cheek in each hand and squeezing the jiggly mounds.
“i love you so much, bae.” his voice sounding like a distant whisper
part of you felt silly. you loved jon — truthfully. he had a piece of your heart the same way jey did. they both treated you like a princess and both boys loved you. in a perfect world, you’d have them both forever with no consequences.
“i love you, more, baby.” you whimpered “make me cummm, please im s—so close. jon, oh god.”
jon wrapped his lower arms around your waist pulling you flush to his body, before fucking into you. your eyes rolled into the back of your head as your pussy fluttered and the tightness in your belly erupted. you creamed all over his thickness, clamping down on him. the move triggering his own release. he bit down onto your shoulder, to keep from roaring out as he sprayed your pussy walls with his cum; continuing to feed you soft pumps making sure to fuck his cum as deep as he could into your pussy.
your eyes glossed over with a look of adoration, as you latched your lips onto his. knowing you couldn’t bask in the after glow long, jon pulled out slowly. his dick flopped against his stomach, covered in a mixture of your cum. your mouth watered at the sight of his dick still hard, laying against his stomach. he let out chuckle; he knew his girl wanted to clean him up right in her mouth again.
jon pulled your panties over your pussy being sure not to let any spill out of you. he grabbed your shorts from the ground and fixed himself back inside his pants, before things could get rilled up again.
“missed yo pretty ass, baby.” he groaned into your ear as he pushed his hands between your legs to cup your clothed pussy, which was currently dripping cum into your panties. “missed you more, daddy.”
you grind against his hand as he placed soft kisses around here and there around your face and neck, “love cummin’ right here…right where i belong at. good ass pussy. i love yo ass so much.”
completely disregarding the fact you just fucked, and you pussy was overly sensitive, he reached his hand into your panties rubbing circles on your clit, the cum in your pussy gushing out and into your panties.
you through your head back onto something hard — jey’s shoulder. his head falling over top of yours, instinctively. you wrapped you hand around jon’s wrist as he worked to wring out another orgasm from you.
you eyes went wide with fear. you tried to keep the tremors working through your body at a minimum, the swollen bundle of nerves spasmed under his fingers. with jey’s head ontop of yours, you couldn’t make any sudden movements. you sucked your kiss swollen bottom lip in your mouth as jon hummed in satisfaction as you worked hard to control yourself.
he leaned forward to press a wet kiss to your lips, as he continued to strum your clit. your pussy jumped under his touch as you came again. overfilled, you pussy pushed the cum out making it drip towards your asshole.
jon gave one last peck to your flushed face as he pulled his fingers out your panties. just in the knick of time, jey began to stir and groan.
“damn, how long this fuckin’ movie is? shit still on?”
attempting to catch your breath, as you pussy convulsed and clenched on air, jon responded, “yea man. whatchall pick this long ass shit fo’? next time yall invite me over we picking a shorter one.”
“you liked the movie, baby?” jey asked giving your shoulder a squeeze
“uh huh. it was great, baby.” you smiled pressing a quick kiss to his lips before standing to excuse yourself to the bathroom
jon licked his lips at your backside, noticing the small trail of cum flowing from your shorts.

It’s dark out.
Moonlight casts a softness over the server that isn’t there during the chaos of the day, creating something uncanny and uncomfortable for a game such as this one; softness. It’s not something that lasts, not something that comes naturally here. And yet the moon remains with its soft glow, gentle light sitting around them all like a blanket.
It’s dark out, and it’s hard to see.
It’s just Skizz and him now, their third no longer tied to this Hell. Grian is stuck between jealousy and relief. There is no break for someone like him, no reprieve or rest. The pain of it all doesn’t stop when his lives run out, when he leaves this place—it only continues. It wraps around him, sinks into his skin, his heart. It digs its claws so deep in him that it leaves a permanent mark on his memory. He’s unable to forget any of it.
He has to tiptoe around Skizz when leaving, avoiding stepping on the arm the guy has thrown out to the side of his body. His loud snores grate on Grian’s sensitive ears, and the quicker he escapes the better. He tucks his wings in close as he climbs the bridges, Mumbo’s ecstatic voice ringing loud in his ears with each creak of wood under his feet. Grian holds onto the railings, but his grip is weak, loose.
He doesn’t need to ask himself where he’s going, or even think about it, really.
When he reaches the last of their bridges, he heads up the mountain. It almost feels familiar, like he’s done it one, two, three times before. Cherry blossoms drift to the ground around him, uncaring of the somber air that Grian carries with him. He almost wants to stop and shout at them, can’t you read the room? I lost my best friend today! But he doesn’t. He ignores the tranquility of the petals, ignores how he squishes some under his feet.
Some chests come into view, right at the center of the mountain. He passes by the three parrots, some bit of him happy to see them untouched. He’d have to fix them up himself if they were damaged (and knowing looks would be sent his way the following morning).
He knows he shouldn’t be surprised that no real infrastructure is up here. No base for safety from the night, a small farm or two. At least he’s learned to put torches down to ward off mobs.
Grian moves closer to the center, finding no one else around. Lizzie probably went off to see Joel, and Jimmy… who knows with him, really. That doesn’t matter much to Grian, not in this world where his brother is dead to him.
His eyes roam over to a pink bed, and ah.
Scar is awake, as if he were waiting for him.
Grian’s feathers ruffle slightly as he avoids making a big deal out of it, stalking toward him. The scarred man doesn’t say anything, simply scoots over some to make some room. Grian is quiet as he pulls the blanket back, sliding into place. In this world, he hates how perfectly he fits with Scar. It makes it hard to hate him, to commit to being enemies with him. How is it that Grian can so easily promise his own flesh and blood that he’ll kill him until he’s out of the game—but he can’t keep to being enemies with Scar for more than a session, if that?
It’d be… so much easier if Grian could just hate Scar. If he could kill him without mercy like he does with everyone else and go back to a world where hating Scar is never a need nor an option.
It’d be safer, if Scar hated him too.
(It would’ve been safer for Mumbo, too.)
Rough fingers card through his hair kindly. Grian burns. Something primal and angry and hurt claws at his chest. He lashes out much like a wild animal would, despite having sought Scar out on his own. “I hate you,” he tries to say, tries to keep any emotion out of his voice, tries to mean it.
(He couldn’t help Mumbo. But maybe here—)
Scar’s gaze softens, lacking any hurt. It only serves to frustrate Grian further. “You don’t.” He sounds so confident, so certain of it, like it’s some kind of universal truth that everyone has accepted except for Grian. “I don’t think you could hate me if you tried.” He’s smug.
“I can, and I do,” Grian argues with him, glaring.
“Mhm, and that’s why we’re best friends, huh?” Scar lifts a brow. “Why you gave me the mace and only wanted to ally with ol’ Scar instead of the Bamboozlers. Or why you’re here in my bed, gripping me like I’ll poof.”
“It was an underhanded kill.” Stop looking at me. “I would’ve done that with anyone.” Stop knowing me. “Your bed is the closest.”
Scar’s fingers in his hair don’t stop, soothing and gentle. It feels wrong. “But you didn’t. You wouldn’t have if it was TJ or Pearl.” His lips curl with amusement, “You can’t fool me with any of that.”
Grian doesn’t answer, and Scar doesn’t push.
Instead, he’s tentatively pulled closer, an arm sliding over his waist. It feels so familiar, in a different home, in a tower. Grian can almost imagine the sound of a llama bleating nearby. He huffs some frustrated noise, and lets the familiarity tug him in. He selfishly takes the comfort Scar gives him, as if they hadn’t been at each other’s throats just a few days ago. But Grian is selfish, and he takes what he wants. Scar is selfless, and is happy to give whatever Grian needs.
He exhales silently, right against Scar’s buttoned shirt. He doesn’t speak, so Scar does it for him, giving him an out. He always gives Grian some kind of door. “I put you back to 100/100 reputation with us.”
Grian can’t help but snort. “Did you put the heart back too?” Contradiction after contradiction.
“Oh, that was only for your name. No offense to Skizz but he and I aren’t like that.” Scar’s hand drifts down to the middle of Grian’s back, right between his wings. “I’ll show it to you tomorrow.”
“You probably shouldn’t,” Grian huffs, “might just explode it again if you kill me.”
“Probably. I’ll show it to you anyway.”
Grian rolls his eyes in return. “Better not betray me again then.” It wouldn’t be Scar who does it.
Scar’s eyes hold understanding. Grian almost wants to reach in and tear it out, replace it with the hatred he wants Scar to feel instead. He only digs his fingers into Scar’s shirt. “I’d be a fool to betray you after getting you back today.”
After getting you back.
Grian should be the one saying that. “Whatever,” he mumbles in return. He clings to Scar, allows himself that small mercy, that small kindness. Lips brush his hair.
“Sleep well, G.”
Neither of them say anything more.

pretty blonde curls
word count: 11.6k || College Frat AU || banner by @temmmry
warnings: mentions of sexual assault (not from reader or curly), depictions of violence (reader beats jimmy up), smut (2 scenes)
summary: "Me or him, Grant?"
Curly would say it takes quite a bit for it to get through his head that someone likes him.
He recalls an early moment in college when he had only been part of the frat, four drinks in before he had been raising a brow at one of the girls who had detached from Jimmy and found him, her frustration evident when she had whined that she was trying to ask him out — only to be met with a quiet "oh" from him and an apologetic shake of his head.
He's not stupid when someone's trying to sleep with him, though. Playing stupid when someone wants to hook up with him is always easier than saying no. It's the same as dressing baggy on campus to avoid attention.
"Too attractive," Jimmy tells him.
Curly doesn't see it, remnants of his health problems evident on the stretch marks on his shoulders, insecurity creeping down his sides and across his stomach onto his thighs — but it's all easy to hide. It makes him less scary to approach when he's on the board by his second and third year of the frat. He had been tugged along by Jimmy — which he's thankful for, really. But Jimmy complains about how much easier it seems for Curly to move up the ranks when he brings a different chick home every other day.
So, when the discussions for the next president creep out, it comes to no one's surprise that Curly is president, but everyone's shocked that Jimmy's the VP.
It's easy for Curly to be elected as the face of the frat, clean record, and everyone's favorite from none else but hard work. His professors appreciate his sincerity, and he had been in contact with many of the executives of the school since he was elected as VP. It's easy for it to be him simply because everyone knows he's reliable enough for it — and he knows when to stop. A clean slate — impossible to break and crumble down the name he has built. False accusations of sexual assault never lasted long. Curly was simply too clean for it.
It was almost always Jimmy's fault when it came to it.
But some people steer clear of the frat and its members in general, and while Curly has been dense when people liked him, he understood. Someone who refuses all advances and plays stupid the same way he does at the parties is agitating. He can't complain but, really, he wishes he'd be at least given a chance.
"Not with you alone, no." You click through your schedule. "I told you, Grant. I don't want... you know."
"He won't—"
"It never ends well. You know the rumors spreading about your vice president. You've not got bloodless hands just because it wasn't you, you know? A friend who does nothing to help is just as guilty." You slide your books into your bag, looking around.
"Not under the law—"
"Maybe." You wave bye to him after class, calling at your friends who have come to pick you up.
Curly understands your hesitation. You don't dislike him — visible from the way you're still friends with him, but you refuse to go out with him to hang out or anything else similar unless he could guarantee you wouldn't bump into any of his brothers. You refuse to be out with him even if all of the professors like him because it'd be terrifying to put yourself at risk of being so close to someone on campus who was known to be a sleaze. The election of Jimmy into the frat board threw you off more when he had called you one night.
You'd built more distance when you had found out.
You know he's not the same, but you didn't ever want to be on Jimmy's radar, and Curly had done a good job not showing you at all to anyone he knew so far, and you only prayed it would continue like that.
Curly understands what you mean. His hands aren't bloodless. Jimmy's smeared blood onto his palms and he's washed it off more times than necessary — dried skin from the bleaching far too many times. He can't count how many times he's had to step in and tell Jimmy that taking home the plastered girl from the party wasn't a smart idea and how people had to get checked for drugs because while getting high would be pleasant, someone coming for the frat because one of the members had slipped in a date rape drug to assault someone would not. He's stern about that, and not even Jimmy is allowed any wiggle room.
But it doesn't matter how much he does to make sure that the parties thrown are safe for all. You still refuse to associate with him too much.
At least the frat's name is growing thanks to his effort.
"Presentation night in three weeks." He mumbles to himself as he texts the board groupchat, fingers quick on his phone as he dabs at the sweat on his forehead with the towel.
"Oh, look who it is." You hum, head tilted as you start the treadmill next to him. "Presentation night? What are you presenting on?"
He beams at the sight of you. "Every single time I've had a complaint from the school addressed to me about the club since the start of the school year. Surprised to see you here. Thought you didn't like hanging with me in public."
"Jimmy's in class." You stretch your arms above your head, humming. "Just gotta make sure I don't bump into him."
"Yeah, he is— how'd you know?"
"A friend shares a class with him." You hit the treadmill twice, speeding up. "Warming up or cooling down?"
"Cooling down." Curly hums. "It's getting dark. I could walk you—"
"It's alright. Anya's class just ended." You wave at him dismissively. "See you in class tomorrow."
"See you."
You don't share a major with Curly. You had one class first semester of freshman together and then exchanged numbers — Curly had looked quite nerdy at the time, tall but lack of muscle evident on his face, and over the 15 weeks of instruction, he had lost the majority of his weight after you had told him you'd be down to be gym buddies with him. By spring, he had joined one of the frats and met Jimmy, and the two had stuck close since.
Gym with you is rarer these days, but still.
He claims you helped a lot early on, completely relaxed when you had mentioned casually that you'd be checking out the gym and were scared to do it alone — and the rest was history. He bulked up much faster than you reached your goal, and by the time that the semester came to an end, you couldn't count on two hands how many people had oogled at Curly when he passed them. You couldn't blame them. His biceps were museum-worthy.
The streaks of white on his back and shoulders that you caught wind of when he walked around in made him insecure. You'd caught it once when his shirt soaked through, and he had thrown his hoodie on almost immediately after. The stretch marks on his skin are oftentimes attributed to his height and muscle — never to his past.
He stares at himself in the mirror longer on some days, your voice in his ear as the two of you call. You do care, Curly knows. You just find Jimmy a bitch and hate him with a passion reserved for no one else.
"It'll be hot tomorrow." You hum. "You gonna go around in a long sleeve again?"
"Might wear a t-shirt." He glances at his back as he flexes, staring at the lines on his back.
"Won't you wear a tank so I can drool over those arms?"
"You and your obsession with muscles."
"Hey, it's not horrible."
"Says the one who took a whole digicam photo of my biceps back in year two."
"Hey."
"I'll tell you. You down to study on Saturday?"
"As long as you drive."
"You wouldn't go if I didn't."
"Maybe." You mumble. "Keep Jimmy away."
"And if he wants to come?"
"Tell him to kill himself."
"I can't do that, sweetheart."
"Sure you can, big guy."
Curly likes you. He thinks it's painfully obvious. His brothers in the frat find it painfully obvious. When he smiles at his phone there's an 11/10 chance that you're texting him, and it's much easier to ask him a question and get away with things when he's on call with you because he's barely listening to their question and wants them away from his door as soon as possible so he can continue to talk to you.
It's just a matter of fact that no one knows quite what you look like or what you sound like.
Curly keeps you in his ear at all times, and you never videocall him.
And if some of the frat brothers try to follow him to a coffee shop, Curly's got the sixth sense of a hawk and everyone's location, so as long as one person's by him, he refuses to let you out of the car, even if it means he goes in to grab your orders and you both sit on the car to study. Refuses to let you out or you refuse to get out. The frat just assumes that it's the former, so they stop trying to follow him out to the study sessions.
"They're not here." Curly offers you his hand, and you hum.
"Thank you, Grant."
"Of course."
"Is there a reason why they call you Curly?"
"Don't you think my last name sounds like my first?"
"Hm... I could see Grant as a last name, yeah." You pause. "You got a preference?"
"You get to use Grant 'cause you don't need t' treat me like a president."
"I suppose so. The professors like your last name better, too."
"I suppose." He lets you order first, glancing up at the menu as you finish grabbing your usual.
He thinks it's unsurprising that he likes you this much. You're easy to like and easy to take care of. The fact that you haven't left him despite his best friend's awful reputation was probably an act of mercy in itself. You never fail to remind him that he's part of the problem, though. Really. Truly. You're very much aware that Curly is constantly on thin ice when it comes to Jimmy, and there are lines that you draw to make sure that Curly can never quite get as close as he'd like to.
You refuse to let him do anything that would give anyone the wrong idea, and the furthest that Curly has managed to push you was the study sessions that you only allow on weekends and only go with him after he makes sure no one follows him out.
You refuse to be made public with him.
And it's not that you worry about your reputation or that you don't seem to like Curly — it's really as simple as how much you despise his best friend. Curly seems to have caught on early, never pushing much further than what you allow him. He lets you initiate everything so that you feel like you have more control. He understands how awful it can get when you feel as though you have no control over anything.
He knows what it feels like to have none.
So you're allowed to boss him around, he really doesn't mind it, and dare he say it, it's almost nice. It makes him feel all warm and domestic when you do. Sometimes you bring him back to your apartment when your housemate isn't home and study there, and he likes it. He likes the way you kick him under the dinner table as you swing your legs to focus. You prefer it to tapping your pen, but you also have the habit of biting the back of your pens and darting your tongue out to lick your bottom lip when it gets dry, and Curly can't help but notice the way your lips glisten with your saliva and wonder what it'd look like wrapped around his— not that he would ever actually do anything about it! The most he'll do is adjust the strain in his pants and let out a sigh.
Someone save him.
He likes you, painfully, though. His heart races when he sees you pass him and he thinks he lights up like the sun when you wave back. It's a little bit concerning. Maybe that's why he insists on studying with you despite the fact that your schedules barely match up and why he slots out his Saturday brunches to hang out with you to study and grab brunch because you never seem to have breakfast. He wonders if you do it on purpose or if you just have the worst eating habits on earth.
You don't let him pay even when he insists.
You draw a line between the two of you that gets painfully clearer and clearer to Curly, and he wonders if he's just somehow really into someone who could lowkey crush his heart if given the chance. He gets it to some extent. You don't like his friends, so by proxy you wouldn't be able to last with him anyway if the two of you could start dating. No. Not friends. Just Jimmy. You despise his best friend, and it's almost as if you're just waiting for him to slip up.
But you let Curly get away with more and more as the semester progresses. You bring him home once without checking if your roommates are there, and you blink as Anya stares back at you, waving slowly at Curly as he nods. Another time you pass a couple of his brothers while passing by the frat, and Curly has to cover up and tell them that he was just walking a classmate because it was late. It wasn't out of character for him to play it off as that. Most of his frat understands to respect his private life. After all, despite how reliable Curly was, most of the frat still didn't like burderning him all that much. It was easier to let things be and stay out of trouble.
Not that Curly gets any less complaints from faculty.
Jimmy's failing this class, this other brother is, and another, and another... Curly finds that it's quite annoying, and soon, he calls for the club to start hosting study sessions so that at least the professors wouldn't be complaining about how the frat life was getting in the way. He suspends nonessential parties for the time being and texts you that Saturdays aren't free anymore, and you laugh.
"They're grown ass men and can't study on their own?"
"Happens to everyone." Curly mumbles, glancing at the study group. "We're in this together."
"Anyone got their girlfriend over?"
"You... miss me?"
"Miss your muscles, gorgeous." You laugh from the other side, voice cutting off as you mute yourself.
Curly shakes his head, glancing at the guys in the room.
"You wanna come over?"
"Is Jimmy there?"
"Yeah."
"Then no."
"I still don't get your problem with him."
"Maybe you'd have to be a woman to find out." You hum. "If you wanna come over just let me know."
"You don't mind your roommates knowing?"
"Everyone's out for the weekend."
"Ah. I'll text you."
"Alright. See you around, big boy."
"See you around, sweetheart."
Curly doesn't think about Jimmy much. He's as much of a friend and maybe even more since he had introduced him to the frat, and although Jimmy's got a questionable reputation, Curly chooses to trust his friend. Jimmy isn't horrific in his eyes. He's just a guy who might come off as a sleaze, and maybe he's definitely questionable because of how seemingly little he cares for women, and maybe he's just... yeah, maybe Curly isn't understanding because Jimmy could never treat him the same way he treats the girls at the parties. Though, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Jimmy barely cares.
"Hey." Curly grabs a guy's shoulder, and the poor girl scurries off into the crowd of the party.
"Curly. Really?" He groans.
"No fucking the girls who look like they're terrified."
"So I can fuck someone who isn't?"
"Don't go harassing them."
Curly gives the guy two pats on the shoulder as he spots you at the door, grinning at one of the other guys.
"Oh, really?" You tilt your head. "Didn't realize the place was so big."
"I love it." The guy laughs, raising a brow as Curly steps over. "Curly."
Curly tilts his head at you, and you tilt your head to the side.
"Our president. Curly."
"Grant's fine." He holds his hand out for yours, and you take it, nodding as you shake on it. "New here?"
"Got invited by this nerd."
"ey."
"Affectionately, of course." You hum, patting the guy on the chest twice.
"I'll take her from here."
"Of course, prez."
Once you're far away enough, you meet eyes with Curly and laugh.
"You drink yet?"
"Wanted to experience one sober." You press against Curly as someone squeezes past you.
"Sober makes it boring, sweetheart."
"Well I can see someone certainly has gotten a drink or two in his system." You pinch at his cheek, and he brushes noses with you.
"Maybe."
"Where's my charming gym buddy?"
"Still here, sweets." He hums.
"Maybe." You push yourself off of him, glancing at the rest of the crowd. "Smells awful in here."
"It's why I don't invite you. Outside of you not caring, of course." He fistbumps a guy that passes, flicking his chin at him as you stare.
"You look real good, Grant." You tap his chest, humming as you glance in the corner of your eye.
"Why are you here? You hate being here because of..."
"Heard he'll be late. Wanted to come see you." You brush your nose up his jaw, and his eyes flutter as he hums.
"This is nice."
"Of course." Your palm finds his chest, and you hum quietly. "I'll head out in a bit. Just wanted to come say hi."
"Not staying?"
"Not for too long. Heard Jimmy would be late. Not gone." You tap his chest gently, and he presses his forehead to yours. He opens his phone and looks for Jimmy's location, humming as he buries his face in your neck.
"See you around?"
"My place tomorrow? Heard there was no study sesh tomorrow."
"Eleven?"
"Mhm."
"See you." He sends you off with a quick nod, and you're off past the door.
It's a quick call. He would have liked for you to stay longer, but Jimmy walks in five minutes after you're gone, and it's back to being friends with Jimmy.
It's a constant dichotomy - the difference between being friends with you and with Jimmy. You're so tame even when you kick him under the table, and you're in little to no trouble. Jimmy gets allegations every now and then at the parties, and Curly is always stuck cleaning up after him. Sweep them under the rug. It's fine. It wasn't anything — alright, maybe he's starting to get your point. He doubts he'd want to hang around Jimmy if he was a girl, but he isn't, so he gets a little leeway, maybe.
He doesn't even notice that you've settled between his legs on the floor, and he blinks down at you as you bare your teeth and smile at him.
"Hey."
"Hey." He swallows. "Something wrong? Dropped something?"
Your palm makes contact with his inner thigh, pushing them out as you prop your elbows to free your hands to work at his belt.
"Hey, sweetheart, hey—"
"Quiet." You mumble, poking at his dick through his boxers as you pull at the waistband, and Curly panics. No way you're doing this. You barely even like it when he holds open doors for you and offers to walk you home. You're definitely drunk or maybe you got your hands on some drugs or whatever because surely you're not—
You're taking him.
You're sucking him.
He blinks owlishly at you, your lips parted and skin glistening under him, lashes fluttering as you wrap a hand around his base, and he thinks he's going to pass out. Your mouth is painfully warm, and he reaches his fingers to thread through your hair, head thrown back in bliss as he—
His alarm rings, and Curly heaves, hand over his chest as heart threatens to break past his ribcage. God, fucking hell. He needs to fix his mind before you turn around and leave him for good for even thinking about you like that.
He'd argue that you probably know from the way you raise a brow at him on occasion, but better safe than sorry.
You're knocked out on the coffee table, eyes closed as you sit across him, and Curly adjusts the strain in his pants. It'd be rude to rub one out in your bathroom, but it'd also be uncomfortable for him to just let it sit there. He taps his fingers on the table as he stares at the drool that slides past your lips, humming to himself as you mumble to yourself.
He reaches to brush the hair out of your face, and your lashes flutter awake.
"Was I drooling?"
"Yeah."
"Sorry." You mumble.
"I should be sorry." He swallows. "You too tired for this?"
"Not too tired. Just tired." You mumble, yawning as you smush your cheek against the glass and blink at Curly. "You've got blonde lashes."
"Sure do." He stares back down at you, shifting his legs again.
"Do I gotta make a joke about how you're hard or are you just restless today?" You look away, staring at the blank screen across from you.
"Restless." He mumbles. He's sure the red on his ears is giving him away.
"Well, at least the GE will be out of the way." You kick at his leg from under the table, and you click your pen twice. "Don't got all day, big boy. Still have gym later."
"Yeah." He mumbles.
He doesn't see you for a while after that.
You go and flounce around and hole up in your room afterward, and Curly busies himself with the things of the frat and preparations for the pre-finals week party. It's never a smart choice but most people are going to find a party to go to anyway, so he might as well host one. Reputation has to be upheld anyway.
He texts the groupchat and everyone gets the drinks, and Curly checks the whole house for hard drugs, raising a brow at one of the younger boys who pulls out a sheet of LSD. It's shoved in the vault for safekeeping, and Curly assures him he'll get it back after the party when everyone sobers up.
Then people are invited and the house fills right up. Curly leans against the wall, just enough alcohol in his system to be warm, but not enough to cloud judgement — at least not according to himself. He glances around at the party, nodding at people he knows, chatting idylly with people he recognizes, the music and yelling making it hard to hear. Curly learns to read lips, and he sends almost everyone off with a quick flick of his fingers.
It should be fine. It's usually fine. It's the biggest party of the year that he had the trouble of going through planning in his third year, but this year is a lot more relaxed now that he isn't struggling to count club funds. Treasurer was not a fun position if you didn't like it all that much. At least he isn't going through it again. Also, the alcohol makes it hard for him to really keep to his weight. Too much sugar. Not good for his health or—
"Grant!" You call, squeezing past a couple making out as you tug on his collar and have him bend down for you, lips brushing his jaw as you grin. "There you are. Brooding all by yourself, handsome?"
"Sweetheart." He hums, hand finding your cheek as he squeezes gently. "What brings you here?"
"Boredom. Also alcohol."
"Didn't want'a get drunk at your apartment?"
"So much more fun when there's a man around."
"And Jimmy?"
"Heard he isn't coming tonight."
"You seem to know whenever he isn't coming." Curly brushes his nose against yours, and you hum.
"Don't want to catch his eye."
"You're already catchin' everyone's by bein' here." He eyes one of his brothers that stares, the poor guy looking to the side at Curly's glance.
"I think it's cuz their precious president is all up on some girl they've never met." You whisper, pinching his cheek as he leans back up. "Hm?"
"Well, not that they haven't met you."
"People are nosy." You glance to the side, winking at one of the girls that pass.
"How much d'you drink?"
"Pregamed at home. Three shots? Horrible for my sugar intake, though." You mumble, hand resting on Curly's chest as he pulls you in by the waist.
"Makes two of us." He mumbles, hand finding your forearm as he rubs. "You stayin' the whole time?"
"When's it end?"
"1:30 we start yellin'"
"Then until y'all clean up." You hum. "Not completely drunk."
"Can tell."
That's the fun thing with you, though. Your alcohol tolerance runs the same as Curly, so he finds that it's a lot easier to know when you'll knock out in his arms. It's not the first party you've been to. You joined once back in freshman when Curly first joined, and you had met Jimmy — and immediately decided that it was not worth it. You patted Curly twice on the chest and left that night, and never came back. It was surprising that you'd show to a party in year four of all times. He's not complaining, though. Always nice to see your pretty face.
Curly keeps an eye on Jimmy's location when you're around just because he'd hate to see you actually meet the guy. Met him once years ago and decided to stay as far away as you could.
"Don't get why you can't just drop him."
"Maybe after college." He mumbles. "He's our VP."
"Would you kick him if an allegation was serious enough?"
"How serious?"
"Expulsion serious."
"I'd have to. Otherwise I'd go down with or without him."
You brush your nose against his jaw, humming quietly as your chest vibrates against his.
"Good to know."
"Don't be going getting yourself assaulted. Won't let that happen to you." He mumbles.
"Me or him, Grant?"
"Don't do that to me." He groans, watching as you bat your lashes at him. "You're both important."
"Don't go testing me, blondie." You hum.
Curly glances at his phone, sighing as he rests his forehead on yours. "Jimmy's headed our way."
"Thought he left."
"Texted an hour ago sayin' he'd be back." He mumbles. "Wan' sit in my room, sweetheart?"
"You know the rules. He's here? I'm off." You whisper, closing your eyes as his lashes brush your skin.
"See you after finals?"
"Text me before you go?"
"Of course."
You hang out with Curly in between semesters during breaks. When he's free from the frat for the most part and planning things, he finds himself in coffee shops with you to catch up on gossip of all things. You ramble about tea you hear while working for your professor, and it makes Curly see a whole new side of some of the people on campus. It's like you have eyes and ears everywhere since you're helping the professors out.
"And then she ended up taking a break." You tap the keyboard, humming. "She'll be back next year, but we'll be gone by then, so, you know."
"Because the dude knocked her up?"
"I'm surprised she chose to keep it, but I mean, if she wants it, then so be it." You press the straw to your lips, humming to yourself. "Lovely tea place. How'd you find it?"
"One of the guys' girlfriend. Told me this place has great tea." He hums. "Not overbrewed at all, huh?"
"Nice and aromatic." You kick your legs under the table. "How've you been? Survived finals?"
"Yeah. The usual."
"How dependable."
"Yeah?"
"Shame no one knows how you really are." You hum. "Quite charming, nonetheless."
"You're speaking in book again."
"Alright, Grant. Sorry I wanted to be poetic for a sec. My condolences for my use of language."
"Now you sound even worse."
You click your tongue at him. "I like you this way."
"Rude?"
"Honest." You hum. "You've always got that goody two shoes smile on your face when you're on campus. It's strange. I know you want to sink those hands into my neck and choke me out every now and then."
"In public is insane."
"Your fault for taking me here. I offered my apartment."
Curly raises a brow at you, and you hum. "Complexity builds character."
"My brothers beg to differ."
"Where's Jimmy, by the way? He's usually around during breaks."
"Decided to take a solo trip. Builds character, or something." Curly hums.
"We should do a road trip." You glance at your phone. "Go around the area. Find a national park and go camping."
"Aren't you gonna get cold?"
"We'll survive." You raise a brow at him. "We could huddle for warmth, even."
"You implying sex?"
"You pervert..." You gasp, holding a hand over your mouth. "No. I was implying cuddling, but considering that your brain went straight to the gutter, I vote no road trip."
"A day trip down south would be nice."
"We could go to the city."
"Oh, that too." You scroll on your phone. "Tomorrow?"
"How about the beach?"
You glance at Curly, and he laughs.
"Please?"
"I hate you, Grant."
"Love to see you with your tits out."
"Oh, god. Fratboys."
But the truth is that Curly knows exactly what's going on at all times. You admit he's part of the problem. You keep him around because he's fun to be around. Down to do most things. Not a horrible person — a person. Not morally good or bad. There exists no pure saint or pure sinner. Anyone who presents that way is suspicious enough to warrant questions. You keep Curly around because he's not a horrible person. Only issue is with his best friend.
He's sure you'd try to cling onto your best friend if it was all allegations and no charges too, but you can't afford the same for Jimmy. The gender difference and lack of security you felt whenever he was around was more than enough to scramble any sense of security you felt with Curly. He understands that.
He wonder if it's the lesser of two evils — friends with a liar or abuser?
You'd choose a liar, but he supposes for himself it's one foot in both.
Well, not that you're the accuser.
Curly starts the new semester without you but makes time to study with you nonetheless, humming to himself as you invite him into the apartment, scrunching your nose when he smells of a workout and kick him out to come back another time. He complies, frowning at you when you shoot him an apologetic smile, and he nods. He understands. He has a persona to keep up around your roommates, and he also has an image to upkeep for the school, or whatever.
It makes him crack a little. Seep under the mask just a little. He doesn't know where the ego comes from, but he doesn't appreciate it.
He scrubs at it in the shower, and he reminds himself that it is not who he is.
He had to work to get where he was. He doesn't get to act like he's better than people.
"Ego is really only for... people who have nothing." You mumble, stirring your drink.
"Yeah? I mean sometimes I get egotistical, but I have to remind myself that I'm not who I am." You hum. "I worked to get here. Everyone works to be who they are. If they don't... then they aren't who they are."
"Now that's something new."
"I have never had an original thought in my life." You glance at the girls that step up to the table and go quiet.
Curly deals with them. He knows you can hold your ground, but they're not people you know, so they're not people you should have to deal with. He prefers to keep you away from them, even if they come knocking to the table the two of you have in the coffee shop. He's seen her at a party or two. Probably a second year looking to date a hot fratboy so she can say she dated one in college. Nothing Curly hasn't seen.
"Why are you here with her again? Curly, I really did expect you to be better at choosing... study dates." She eyes you, and Curly watches you smile.
Inhale, exhale, stare.
"If you wanted a date you could have just asked." You offer, voice light with mirth as she blinks at you.
"You! I'm not some cheap whore, you know?!"
"Didn't say that." You hum. "Unless you'd like to sit with us? Don't see a bookbag, though."
"In my car!"
"Want' come study with us? You can pull a chair—"
"Speaking of chairs. This one's uncomfortable. You mind if we switch spots?" Curly offers you a way out, and you hum.
"Where'd you have in mind?"
"I'm kind of hungry, so I vote the diner."
"Wanna camp there?"
"Too late to camp."
"Fair." You mumble. "We can figure it out when we get on your car."
"Come on." He offers you a hand, and while you raise a brow, you still take it, letting him squeeze your hands gently as he ushers you off.
"If that reaches Jimmy's ears I'm shooting him point blank."
"It won't. Jimmy wouldn't touch what's mine. He's not stupid."
"Sure feels like he is sometimes." You mumble. "What's yours? Am I yours, Grant?"
He squeezes your hand. "Are you not?"
"Oh, I wouldn't go there if I were you."
"And why not?"
"Cuz you're not getting anywhere close to me with that shitty best friend of yours."
Curly finds that maybe you really are just dangling him on a string. Swing him close on some days, swing him out on others. You cancel a study date for girls night with your housemate and Curly tells you to send photos (you never do). But it's fine because when you do finally meet up it's close enough to Valentine's that the coffee shops have all of the heart decorations up and Curly's got his hand over yours and he's asking you if you'd like to be his date to the party on Valentine's.
"I don't know, Curly." You mumble.
"Please? You mentioned your roommate would like to experience a full-fledged frat party at least once, so it'd be nice to bring her to our biggest one."
"I'd have to chaperone her."
"I'll keep an eye out for her." He mumbles, tapping the back of your hand.
"Will you?"
Curly does not.
The party rolls around and he keeps everything organized, searching everyone, and patting Jimmy down, going as far as raising a brow at his hat and swiping it off to shake a little. He lets Jimmy go with two pats to the back and then tosses everything into the safe, humming. He loses track of some things as people roll in, and he welcomes your housemate. He gets distracted with you, though, your lips brushing his under the lights as you tilt your head and ask him what's going on in his pretty head.
"Just you, sweetheart."
"Just me?"
"Just you." He sighs, resting his forehead on yours as you hum. "Does it always take a party to get you so vulnerable like this?"
"Maybe it's 'cause I'm your date tonight."
"Or maybe you're just irresistable in the awful frathouse lighting." He whispers, thumb finding your bottom lip as you part them for him. "Yeah?"
"Mhm." You hum. "You gon' kiss me, Grant?"
"God, sweetheart." He mumbles, lips brushing yours as you lean in, and he swears he's gonna get his fill of you until—
"Prez! Couple stumbled into a room."
"God, fucking hell." He groans, straightening up as he looks to the side. "Couldn't have picked a worse time."
"Sorry 'bout the cockblocking." The guy glances at Curly make his way up the stairs, and you shake your head.
You wonder where Anya's wandered off to.
Curly kicks the couple out, and he glances at Jimmy's locked door.
He knocks twice.
He thinks he hears a muffled cry when he knocks, but the music downstairs makes it hard to tell.
He knocks a third time.
It's silent.
A fourth.
Nothing.
Then, he heads downstairs.
Maybe you're still here— if you haven't stumbled off while half drunk, that is.
Curly never fully got the story from you afterward. You had stumbled home and found your housemate missing, calling Curly to check the house, and Curly had found your housemate in one of the spare bedrooms in the house, knocking and entering, letting you know where she was.
"You alright?"
Your housemate, closes her eyes, holding her head as he grumbles.
"My head feels like it's splitting open. I don't remember anything..." She mumbles.
"You alright?"
"Fine. Just sore all over." She mumbles.
"Want me to walk you back?"
Your housemate squints at Curly, and then checks her phone.
Curly assumes she dials you.
"Hey... yeah, just sore. Everything hurts. Is that supposed to happen? Curly's offering to walk me home. Should he— alright. Yeah. Yeah. I'll let him know. See you in a bit."
Curly tilts his head, and your housemate nods.
"Mind driving me instead? My legs really hurt."
"Of course. You need me to help you?"
"Should be... alright." She mumbles.
You thank Curly for taking her home, brows furrowed, giving him a pointed look that he seems to understand.
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone." You mumble, holding her forearms as you lead her in. "Thank you for driving her here, Grant."
"Anytime. You two stay safe."
You nod.
And then you go MIA.
You stop responding to his texts and calls, distance that he had tried closing in on back between the two of you seemingly gone overnight. You tell him weekends are off limits again, and you offer limited explanations for why. Maybe you're just busy. Or, you've finally become fed up with the fact that Curly can't really pick and choose and drop people that he should really drop. Either way, he doesn't really judge you for it.
He can kind of see it.
Yet, life moves on, and he busies himself with his own things.
Maybe time can heal this.
But he texts you updates — parties hosted by the frat, and you tell him you'll show to the next one.
He asks even if Jimmy's there — you tell him especially if Jimmy's there.
He doesn't really want to know why exactly you've gotten a specific change of mind, but he doesn't pry further. It's really not his place. Besides, he should be happy that you're agreeing to to his best friend of all things.
You show up different, though. Low cut dress and makeup done — Curly doubts he's ever seen you put so much effort into meeting up with him.
"New hair?" Curly pinches at the wig on your head, tilting his head and raising a brow.
"I'll talk to you in a bit, Grant." You hum, patting his chest twice and disappearing into the crowd. "Be good, now."
Curly nods, letting you wander off as he continues to greet guests at the door.
Most people don't cause too many problems. You learn to figure your way through the crowd, quiet sauntering as you spot Jimmy, smearing your lipstick as you tug your dress a little lower, reaching to trace your fingers down Jimmy's arms, distracting him immediately from the girl he was previously talking to.
You glance at the back door before batting your lashes at Jimmy.
"And who might you be, doll?"
"Just wanted your number." You hum, mustering a smile as he raises a brow.
"It's usually the other way around. Haven't heard the rumors?"
"Maybe I'm just into a good fuck, not a good man." You tap his bicep gently, and he hands you his phone.
"Do me a favor, would you? Save your number as doll in my contacts so I remember. Password's six sixes."
"Oh, of course." You hum, clicking on his phone as he goes back to chatting with the other girl, and you scroll through his photos. You send a handful to yourself, deleting the chat history, and check your phone for the photos. Close enough.
"You figure it out, doll? Or did you accidentally lose the page?"
"Seems like I did..." You mumble. "Sorry, not super good with electronics. Such a clutz move of me, huh?"
"I'll help ya, doll." He wraps a hand around your waist, chin resting on your shoulder as his hand brushes your lower stomach, free hand clicking through the apps on his phone. "There y'a go."
"Thank you." You jut out your bottom lip, clicking in a random phone number, Jimmy's hand sliding higher and higher until they practically grope at your tits, and you pause for a second.
Alright. Seems drunk enough.
And then all you see is red.
Jimmy's dragged by his hair as you throw him out the back door into the empty parking spot, your knuckles cracking with each punch as he fights back, the tip of your heel digging into his thigh as his screams catch the attention of the rest of the party. You don't know how many punches you've reached but it's five whole minutes where everyone is stuck watching in horror as you practically crush his jaw under your fist and Jimmy is stuck there crying. He's too drunk to know who you are, and you don't care if this gets you jailed, you're taking the chance.
The satisfying crunch of his jaw under your fists and the blooms of red on his face only feed into the satisfaction, and you wonder if he'll ever think of this when he drugs the next poor girl to approach him thinking that he's not as bad as the rumors make him out to be, and it gives you this sick sense of satisfaction. You can ice your knuckles and wear gloves because it's still cold enough for it. Jimmy can't hide from his classes forever, and it definitely helps that you've got a wonderfully glued wig on that you could just burn when you get home and no one would fucking know that you were laughing while beating the frat's vice president to the ground.
Your knuckles are bloody when you're halfway through, and there's a fight outside the party that Curly has to rip through the crowd to get to.
He's surprised to find that it's you, and he pulls you off of Jimmy before stepping to ask you what happened, and you pant, fistfuls of Jimmy's hair weaved through your fingers as your chest heaves, and there is so much red in your eyes that Curly wonders if you're seeing anything at all, and he runs his hands down your bare arms as you breathe.
Jimmy stays on the ground.
"Hey, what happened?"
"Asshole grabbed a fistful of my tits."
Jimmy scoffs from the ground. "You're the one who—"
You curse him out as your heel reaches to crush his balls, and Curly holds your thigh to stop you.
"Hey!"
You look up at Curly, eye twitching as you breathe, taking two steps back and glaring at Jimmy.
"Sweetheart." Curly tries, and you look up at him, eyes vile as you scoff.
"Watch your mouth, Grant." You point a finger at his chest, humming with your head tilted. "Don't you go thinking you're any better because you don't do it. You're still doing nothing about it."
And you're off, knuckles bloody and hair between your fingers.
You don't receive disciplinary action because half of the party was too plastered to remember who was fighting who. Besides, Jimmy didn't even remember who was punching him.
You don't look Curly in the eye for a week, and Curly wonders really if it was at all worth it. First week of spring of all days. He understands the party is for the sake of the brothers, but he really'd rather not be stuck cleaning up after Jimmy when they were barely into the semester. And a matter of assaulting you of all things.
He apologizes on Jimmy's behalf after class, and you blink at Curly.
"If you know he's doing all these things, why do you keep him in his position?"
"I've just know him for so long..."
"That's not an excuse, Grant." You spit.
It's dark out.
Curly knows it's not an excuse. He knows that he shouldn't be excusing Jimmy's behavior, and especially not when his best friend had just grabbed you by the tits at a party while drunk out of his mind. Drunk or not, he shouldn't be doing that anyway. But Curly doesn't want to acknowledge it. Acknowleding that Jimmy was a horrible person would be like admitting that Curly doesn't have good taste in friends, and he'd really rather not be—
"I'm sorry for what he did at the party, but it really wasn't—"
"Oh, don't worry. Only one of the punches was for grabbing me by the tits." You open your phone, texting someone. "The other punches were for something else."
"What... what are people accusing him for now?"
"Nothing much. Just the usual. With evidence this time, though."
Curly raises a brow at you, unimpressed as you raise a brow back.
"What kind of evidence?"
"Roommate got pregnant, evidence."
"And you think it's Jimmy because?"
"Tracks with the frat party we were at."
"You just think it's Jimmy because you hate him."
"My emotions have nothing to do with how shitty of a person he is."
"He's not the type to take it that far—"
"Is that all that matters to you, Curly? Is your best friend more important than the law?"
"And what evidence do you have?"
"My friend's word of mouth? The person that she was last seen with being him taking her upstairs to his room? Curly—"
"Not, Curly." He mumbles.
"You don't deserve to be called Grant if you're not gonna be a good person, Curly."
The name sounds like poison spread on your lips as you scoff.
"Are you going to defend Jimmy with your life?"
"It's just that you hate him so much, so it's easy to just assume that it's him. I know him—"
"Sure, yeah, and I know my roommate. She's not the type to lie."
"Yeah, but Jimmy isn't the type to take things that far."
"Is that so?"
"I know so."
"Alright. Alright, Curly. I should go to another party and get raped by Jimmy and then we can prove it, right?"
"He's not going to touch you. I won't let him."
"So you'll let him touch other women?"
"He doesn't do that."
"You think so?"
"Sweetheart."
"Don't sweetheart me. There's nothing sweet about how shitty of a person your friend is."
"Are you sure it's not just because you hate him?"
"It's not." You swallow, gritting your teeth as your brows furrow and you take a deep breath. "I stay away from Jimmy, not hate him. I didn't hate him until he raped my roommate at the party."
"What evidence do you even have that it's him?"
"DNA? Blood tests? Timeline? Video footage?"
"It could all be made up. Why are you trying to ruin his li—"
You slap him.
The slap echoes into the night, and you breathe, chest heaving as your brows furrow impossibly more, annoyance visible as you groan. It's like Curly refuses to get the point. Curly knows you're being honest. You wouldn't slander Jimmy if you didn't have any evidence, but his mind is stuck on the feeling of your hand making contact with his cheek so harshly, and he wonders if he's really doing anything at all by just watching it all go down. Jimmy's awful but he couldn't have been able to drug your roommate. He pat him down — no. Jimmy had chosen a hat for the occasion with a compartment he had show Curly once. It absolutely could be Jimmy, but that would mean Curly made a mistake and—
Curly holds his cheek, blinking slowly as he looks at you, and you're frantically tapping on your phone, the muffled clicks of your finger against the screen the only thing until you're holding the phone to his face with a series of photos that he can only assume were taken by Jimmy.
It's morbid.
Curly feels sick to the stomach at the sight of your housemate crying into her hands and trying to hide her face, the unmistakable sound of Jimmy's voice behind the camera, and something twists uncomfortably in Curly's stomach.
"Do something." You speak, voice steady and eerily calm as Curly stares at the photos you've somehow managed to acquire on your phone, hand still on his cheek. Suddenly, the sting no longer stings and all that's left is a ringing in his ears. "You're the president, Curly. Do something before I get both of you expelled and ruin his life."
"He couldn't have—"
"His DNA was found in her. I don't know what else you want me to prove to you." You let out a laugh, looking to the side, bitterness instantly visible on your face. "Paternity test came back with an exact DNA match of the hair I yanked from his hair the other night at the party while he got his grimy hands all over my tits now Grant fucking Curly tell me if you're going to do something about that shitty best friend of yours unless you want me to end both of your university careers right now!"
"Why..." Curly mumbles, shoulders sinking as he glances at you. "are you telling me this?"
"The head of the fraternity is responsible for all of the members of its chapter. If I submit all of this evidence against Jimmy while he's in the frat, the fact that she had gotten raped at a frat-hosted party will spread and you'll get expelled for mismanagement of your frat. I know I send you mixed signals and refuse to be seen in public with you because of your shitty best friend you do nothing about, but I do care about you, Curly." You pause. "If I release all of this information while he's still in the frat, you'll have no way out, especially as the president. If you expel him first, then you'll still somehow make your way out with only your reputation taken a hit. People might even blame Jimmy for keeping it all from you."
Curly looks into your eyes and then at the picture on your phone, and he closes his eyes.
"Give me a week. Will you take nothing less than removal from the frat?"
"Nothing less. I refuse to let him continue to stay in the frat. You are responsible for them all. You only escape scathed if you remove him from the frat."
"Will—" He swallows. "I'll save that question for after I deal with this. I'm glad this is early enough in the semester, god. What about his contracts?"
"Do you think he deserves it after raping my best friend?" You bite. "What if it had been me? Would you have been able to look at me the same after his hands had been all over me and he assaulted me? That his dick had been balls deep in me while I cried for him to let go?"
"But it wasn't—"
"It shouldn't make a difference who it was. A rape is a rape, and if you don't do anything, then I suppose we're better off as strangers, Curly."
You don't text Curly back at all.
You move from your seat next to him in class, and while he knows you most likely won't talk to him until the vote to remove Jimmy from the frat goes through, but it's a painful handful of weeks without you. It hurts him to call the other board members and tell them of the situation, evidence presented as he presents even the DNA match, and it becomes apparent that no one is going out unscathed of this situation of the frat. A lighter blow is better than a total blow, they seem to agree. Then Jimmy is contacted about the situation — Curly knows him better than anyone, so the board had to know before Jimmy, and when Jimmy's calling upon their friendship of the entirety of college, Curly shakes his head and tells him that it didn't matter if they had been friends for so long. It was either they both go down or just Jimmy on his own, and it was apparent that Curly didn't want to, but had to.
Then Curly finds out just how ugly Jimmy can get, thrashing and yelling as the other members of the board hold him back after he punched Curly, and Curly just wonders how he had stayed blind for so long.
He kind of deserved the slap from you both.
"You think just because you're hot as hell and you've got some chick slung around your arm that it erases that you were nothing before me? You wouldn't be here without me!" Jimmy yells, and Curly's shoulders sink as he stares at Jimmy. "You were nothing."
Shut down. Shut down. The same way you do. Let his shoulders sink, inhale, exhale, stare into the void.
"Jimmy. Maybe you introduced me to the frat, but I am the president because of my own efforts." Curly steps up to Jimmy, and he wonders for that brief moment that perhaps this is the kind of control that he could only have in his position. Jimmy looks incredibly small like this. And suddenly, Curly seems to kind of understand how terrifying it must have been for both you and your housemate. Jimmy looks powerless for once. "You are no longer welcome here. I'll give you a week to find somewhere to settle, but you are no longer welcome here. Rape or assault of any kind is not welcome nor swept under the rug in our frat. Get out."
"You—"
"You are no longer in power. Get out."
It'll hit the local news tomorrow, and once the local news is hit, you'll submit everything to the chancellor and then Jimmy will be done for.
Curly doesn't want to think if it's the right thing or not. It is the right thing to do, but he had thrown away one of his friends as a result. Jimmy had been important regardless of what Curly thought, but he had also been a horrible person, so the choice was coming sooner or later.
It takes two days for news of Jimmy's history of both assault and sexual assault to emerge, and it takes less than a full week for Jimmy to be expelled. First expulsion in near two decades at the university, and Curly's hand shakes when he texts you. He had done it. You had done it. It was done. He had done... the right thing.
You call him instead.
"You alright?"
Curly stares at the news on his laptop, and he swallows.
"Not really."
"You want me to come over?"
"Will you?"
"He's gone." You hum. "Or you can come over. Everyone went home for the weekend."
"Is... she alright?"
"Much better. Thank you, Grant."
There's a considerable silence on the line before Curly is speaking up, voice quietest you've ever heard it. "Do you think I did the right thing?"
"I think you did the bravest thing that no frat president has the balls to." You hum. "You did great, Grant."
He rests his face in his hand, going quiet as he breathes, chest shaking. It was scary. Despite how dependable everyone considered him, Curly had never once considered himself to be dependable all that much. There is still a nagging fear that carried over from high school — the concern for his body and him from the doctor quiet in the back of his mind. Dependable. His facade had worked, but it hurt to have to actually speak up on it.
"I'm. That was." He breathes. "Can I be honest?"
"Always, Grant."
"I never want to have to do that again." His voice shakes, and he holds his forehead.
"You did great. You were very brave, Grant. You want anything to drink?"
"Can you bring me a..." He pauses.
"Two beers. I need a drink after all of that process too." You mumble. "God, those meetings were draining."
"We.. did it."
"Thank heavens we did."
You head over with two beers, bottles clinking as he holds out his car keys, streetlights flickering as he hums.
"Wan' sit on the truck?"
"That'd be nice." You flick the bottlecap off, handing him one beer as you bite off the other.
"Your poor teeth."
"It'll live." You hum, pressing the bottle to your lips as he exhales, sitting back in the truck bed.
"You alright?"
"Hm?"
"You were... that night." He mumbles.
"You can say it, Curly. I got groped. It's not that deep." You raise a brow at him.
"Yeah." He furrows his brows. "Was it really necessary?"
"You were technically half-right to accuse me that I hated Jimmy so I was convicting him of raping my roommate, but it was really a moment where the opportunity come on its own. Besides, much better to stay cleaner as a frat. As clean as you can get, anyway." You raise a brow at the bottle in hand.
"First expulsion in over a decade..." Curly groans, pinching the bridge of his nose. "He was my best friend."
"Also an asshat."
"Yes. but —"
"No buts. He should've kept it in his pants." You raise a brow at him. "He punched you, for fuck's sake."
"Yeah. He... he was a shitty person. I do mourn the loss of a friend, though. Not necessarily him, but, you know."
"Yeah, that's fair." You lean back, glancing up at the sky.
No star in sight. Too polluted.
"Do we just keep moving?"
"Just keep moving." You kick your legs over his, and he sighs, exhaling gently as he presses his palm on your calf, squeezing.
"Join our party tomorrow?"
"Might as well sleep over in your room, then—" You pause. "No, the bathrooms are nasty."
"I'm in the master."
"Oh, in that case..." You mumble, letting Curly run his hand up your calf, hum on his lips as he leans back. "You got spare clothes?"
"Oh, sweetheart. You don't even need to ask."
Curly wonders if you're only being so sweet now that Jimmy's gone. Maybe in a way it was your plan to ruin that man's life. Not that you'd do all that over a man. He wonders if you'd ever ruin his life like that. He might thank you for it — not that you will. You've done more than you could imagine and he's learned more off of you than he could admit. It'd be embarrassing to tell you, maybe. He might just have to get drunk enough for it.
Though, the sight of you drunk is a lot funnier.
You settle on his lap, closing your eyes with a hard seltzer in hand, tilting your head as you stare at the rest of the party.
Curly hardly knows where to put his hands, blinking slowly and quietly as you settle your head on his collar, blinking up at him, lashes fluttering over a shirt that's far too tight for his life but his brothers insisted on him wearing, and he wonders if any of whatever was going on was even working. You don't seem to notice when he's wearing clothes to show off his body, preferring to tilt your head and meet his eyes instead.
"You alright?" He looks down at you, and you hum.
"Mhm. Pregamed before the party." You trace circles on his chest, letting your lashes flutter over his chest. "Always smells awful in here."
"Always does. It's why I didn't like inviting you."
"Liar. I've gone to so many this year." You throw a glance at the rest of the party, and Curly hums. "Sure you like it better when you've got me dangling off of your arm, though."
"Yeah, but it's not like you're mine or anything. Could be..."
"So I'm a common whore?"
"I didn't say that."
"You seem to think that I'm playing you, still." You crane your neck to wave at another member of the frat, and Curly swallows slowly. Your hand moves lower and lower until your fingers are brushing his lower stomach, and Curly sucks in a breath out of instinct, earning a gentle frown on your lips. "Stop sucking."
"It's gotten soft."
"It's called a dad bod." You brush your fingers over his lower stomach, and he exhales as you hum happily. "I like you however you are."
"You like me?"
"You never quite seem to believe me when I tell you." You crane your neck upward, brushing noses with Curly as he hums.
"I can never really tell."
"I know. All your frat knows." You laugh, voice airy as he hums quietly.
"I doubt you'll remember this in the morning."
"Then you'll just have to remind me." You hum quietly, palm sliding under his shirt as you brush over his stretch marks.
"You don't mind them?"
"We match... just tell me you love me in the morning." You close your eyes, and Curly finds a hand on your waist as he continues to watch the rest of the party.
Curly thinks you might actually like him.
Despite it all, Curly does like you. He doubts the world "like" would even encapsulate just how enraputred he is with you. Pretty, pretty girl. He thinks — chin resting on your head and sun peeking past the blinds in your bed. He gets why you like your bed a lot more. It's much cozier than his, and your back pressed to his chest only serves to have him groan when you shift.
He doesn't quite remember how he ended up in your bed, only that he's got his head buried in your back as you stretch your arms over your head.
"g'mornin'."
"Mornin' to you too, Grant." You grumble, getting up to rest on your elbow as you turn around.
"Aren't you a sight in the morning." He mumbles into your skin, and you yawn.
"You know what isn't?"
"Me?"
"Your breath." You push him off of you, Curly's laugh rumbling in his chest as you sigh, opening your phone. "You want brunch?"
"How could I ever say no to you, sweet'eart?"
"Oh, god. Man so sleepy he reverts to his old accent."
"You love me."
"Debatable." You run your hand through his hair, watching as he rests his chin on your chest. "What'you looking at me like that for?"
"Thinkin' 'bout how you're so pretty." He mumbles, closing his eyes as you scratch at his scalp. "Brunch?"
"I'll call in."
"No, let me." He reaches behind him for the phone, humming. "Same place as usual?"
"Yeah."
"Go on, then. Get ready while I make our reservation."
You press a quick hum to his forehead, getting out of bed ot get ready.
Curly likes this a lot better.
He finds that it's much better to get closer to you, and it almost feels like a reward for the years he had toiled away in college. Something sweet as nectar on his tongue when you give him a quick kiss between tasks, his shoulders sunk and relaxed as he watches you get ready for dates, humming when you complain about how he's a little unshaven. He'll do it for you. He always will. He'll let you rub at his chin when he finishes shaving, humming happily to himself when you press a quick kisso to his jaw.
Warm and cozy. He likes you quite a bit.
Quite a bit is an understatement, he thinks.
You look pretty at all angles, but he finds that some sick part of him finds contentment and satisfaction when you're under him — bare to the eye and touch.
He never lasts long with you looking like this, lashes fluttering as he rasps at the sound your pretty pussy makes for him as he slides in, breath heavy as he stills, your nails digging into his shoulders as you match your panting with his.
"God, dammit, Grant, move." You sing for him, and Curly groans in response.
"Sound beautiful singin' like that, angel."
"Don't you want me to sing for you more? Your name like a prayer on mine lips?"
"Don't tempt me." He holds your hips in place when you try to shift, brows furrowed as he exhales. "Gon' just flood that pussy if you move this quick."
"Never fucked a woman before?"
"You'd be surprised at how little I pulled up until college." He pinches at your waist, bucking his hips into yours as you squirm, stars in your eyes as your nails reach for his wrists, finding something to ground yourself as he gradually speeds up. "Loved playing dumb and watching girls give up. No one likes a dense man."
"I seem t— ah." Your lashes flutter, head thrown back as Curly practically drills into you, holding your head in his arms as your quiet pants register in his ear, causing him to twitch inside of you.
"You don't like men who play dumb, sweetheart. You're the one who," He rolls his hips, earning a particular whine from your lips, and his head spins. "you're the one who plays dumb. Stringing me along for so long. Have to thank you, though. Glad you fixed me."
"Fixed? Fixed ya how?" You pull at his hair, and he groans.
"Oh, sweetheart. You don't even know."
"Really?" You tempt, tongue darting out to wet your bottom lip, craning your neck to avoid Curly's as he lets his teeth graze your pulse point.
"Gon' bite you. Puncture wounds in your neck and leave red that clings for days." He rumbles, exhaling into your neck as your nails dig into his back. "Felt you clench right up. Would you be into that? Marked with my teeth despite your distaste of association with me just months ago?"
"It wasn't distaste of— you—" You heave, curling into his chest and voice shaking. "You know w-why."
"He's gone now, and I get you all to myself." He mumbles. "Get to bring you over... and fuck you dumb on this cock in my room."
"Hate you." You gasp, lashes fluttering as he groans.
"No y' don't."
"Hate that fuckboy talk you keep," You yank at his hair, forcing his head back as you tilt your head. "spitting out. You're not my sweet boy, now are you?"
"Not when I'm buried balls deep in you." He forces out, thumb finding your clit as you jolt. "There she is..."
You let him fuck you through your orgasm, nails dug into his shoulders as you leave marks, his quiet moaning rippling against your skin as you throw your head back and feel him pulse inside of you.
Curly thinks he's reached some kind of ascension. Raptured in the moment, head spinning deliriously at the feeling of you practically milking him for all he has. This is what he's been waiting for, he supposes. You're singing his name like a prayer, eyes rolled so far back he's worried they'll get stuck like his ma used to tell him, but, oh, heavens be dammed. If this is how he goes then so be it.
The bliss will bleed and his skin will burn, but he doesn't really mind it.
"You're wonderful, sweetheart." He mumbles, forehead pressed to yours in the afterglow, and you'll call him a sap and sigh.
"You think I'm a sap?"
"I know you are." You mumble, thumbs finding his cheek as he closes his eyes, basking in your touch. "I like it."
"Well, I like you."
"Sap."
"Your sap."
Curly finds that maybe its a little twisted that he had to toss his friend for you, but really, who is he to complain when you're so pliable under his hands? You prefer him to be pliable as well. It helps the two of you communicate and work better.
"You think I can keep the stubble after we graduate?"
"Mm, don't want burns when you eat me out." You hum.
"You gon' make me give that up to keep my beard?"
"You'd just have to step up your aftercare."
"I can do that."
"Maybe focus on your job after graduation first."
Curly closes his eyes, humming into your bare shoulder. "Won't y' come with me?"
"We'll see."
"I'll make sure it's a yes." He mumbles.
"We'll see when we get there."
He'll make sure it's a yes when he gets there.
But, until then, he supposes he'll just have to stay dangled on your finger like a pretty little accessory.

𝟙𝟚 𝕕𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕗𝕚𝕔-𝕞𝕒𝕤: 𝕕𝕒𝕪 𝕤𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟
i’ll be home for christmas
fiance!joe x fem!reader
summary: a bulleted blurb/fic about you surprising joe in athens on christmas.
warnings: NSFW, 18+. mdni. p in v, slight dacryphilia, not tooo descriptive.
note: my first bulleted fic with smut?? kinda feels like a crack fic but lmao it was so fun. love yaaaa 🫶🏻
joe was bored
he came to athens to be with his family because you
his lovely fiancée
the light of his life, even
you were away. on a business trip. IN LONDON
at christmas time?? CRIMINAL
but honestly like. joe could’ve stayed in cincinnati
gone to the facility every day. watched film. all that
HOWEVER
his mother convinced him to come home. AND FOR GOOD REASON
because you were conspiring
you were gonna make it home to surprise him. it was going to be sO EXCITING
you called robin to plan it all out. she was also SO EXCITED and she got you and joe some matching pajamas (that she had to hide)
she couldn’t tell jimmy or joe’s brothers you were coming
because they would’ve absolutely told joe considering he was MOPING
and like he’s a grumpy ass in general. BUT WITH YOU GONE?? OVER CHRISTMAS???
*insert grumpy pic of squidward here*
for days he sat and moped. and scrolled his phone. and just chatted with you
poor lil baby joey. texting you like
joe: miss ya
y/n: i miss you bub 🥺
joe: i love my family but it’s different without you
y/n: i know. i hate that i have to miss it. but work is going okay! i’ve learned so much while i’ve been here
joe: i’m glad to hear it baby. i can’t wait until you’re back
y/n: it’ll be sooner than you know it <3
joe: wish it was right now. miss your pretty face
y/n: attachment: 1 image *photo of you in one of his hoodies, showing off a pout with a coffee mug in hand, your gold necklace with a ‘j’ charm on full display*
y/n: miss you 😭
joe: wanna kiss those pretty lips
and GOD
YOU WANTED TO TELL HIM SO BAD. but you knew the pay-off of making him wait would be so daMN good
finally. it was time to fly back home. you had a window seat. thanK GOd. would you be jet-lagged? yes. did it matter? nO
robin arranged it ALL for you (what a saint) and you were able to arrive in the states on the 23rd
she had someone pick you up from the airport and drive you to their house, and you literally drug your luggage into the garage (you’d make joe get it later)
now. to enact your elaborate plan
you walked up the front porch steps SUPER CAREFUL not to be seen
you rang the doorbell
“joey can you get the door”
you can practically feel him grumbling after being asked to do that
but when he opens it. and it’S YOU???
IT’S YOU????
you’re in his arms in less than a second. just completely enveloped by him. he’s pressing a kiss into the top of your head
“you tricked me”
“but aren’t you glad i did?” you’re smirking as you look up at him
and he’s never felt happier. never felt such peace. because you’re here
you come inside and say hi to everyone and make a little small talk before retiring to joe’s room because
A BITCH IS TIRED
it doesn’t take you long to fall asleep, right there in his star-wars themed room
you and joe are awake by 1am
nobody else is, and you intend to keep it that way but
YOU HAVEN’T SEEN EACH OTHER IN SO LONG
joe kisses you tenderly on the lips, his hands roaming your body, peeling off your layers of clothing
you’re undressing him too, taking your time as your hands map each others skin
you laugh into the kiss, your eyes are focused on the wall
“hmm?” joe whispers to you, wondering what’s funny
“i think your anakin poster is staring at me”
“well don’t make eye contact with him”
finally the two of you are fully naked, still pressing kisses to each others skin, taking your sweet time
and trying yoUR BEST to be quiet (it’s hard to be quiet)
after what seems like forever of loving kisses and tender touches, joe lines himself up and presses his cock between your folds, pushing into you
you let out a soft gasp and immediately
“quiet, princess”
“m’sorry” you say, muffled from your hand covering your mouth
joe shoves a pillow between the headboard and the wall just in case because
IT’S GONNA BE CLANGING IF NOT
he takes his time with you, unraveling you so slowly
because again, it has been SO LONG
and he’s got you in the mating press
you’re biting back moans, every sensation feels like a live wire in your skin
and he hits you with that slow, deep thrust
the deadly hip swivel
tears are falling from your eyes, it’s so much but it feels sO good
“feel good, baby? love seeing you cry for me”
his voice. he’s so
perfect
sexy
amazing
when he talks you through it? oH GOd
“taking it so good. doing such a good job being quiet for me”
you loSE YOUR MIND
you can’t help it, you’re cumming around him
and still, he’s talking you through, helping you along as his fingers trace delicate patterns over your clit
“that’s it. good girl. doing so well”
and he makes you cum two more times before you’re finally ready for a shower
then you’re clean and back his his bed
now he’s falling asleep
AND SHE’S CALLING A CAB
no but really he falls asleep with his head resting on your chest
when you wake up christmas eve (technically you already were, but) you go upstairs and have breakfast with everyone
it’s so nice, his family is so loving
and you spend the whole day laughing, snacking, baking, and most of all just enjoying being back home with joe
he’s glad you’re back too
christmas morning is exciting as well. in more ways than one ;)
but afterrrrr you get to go upstairs in mATCHING PAJAMAS
and relax. and watch the kids open gifts. and most importantly
you get to watch football
joe’s the happiest you’ve ever seen him. and you’re so glad to be here
home for christmas is the best place to be 🫶🏻
photos and dividers are not mine. all cred to owners.

"Dude, I'm in your brother-in-law!"
Panic twists your gut as the bizarre scene sinks in! Those unnaturally clouded eyes are the trademark of Jimmy, your long-dead friend, and they're sitting in the skull of Carlos, your sister's fiance! The ghost is up to his usual antics, possessing yet another guy in your life without any regard to you.
"Did you imagine a tight gym rat like this would wear undies like these?" Jimmy chuckles, referring to Carlos' patterned boxers, "I mean how could you be so intimidated by a guy who's got hearts on his crotch?"
The underwear is the least of your worries: the man is supposed to be walking down the aisle in an hour! It may have been a dick move for your sister to get engaged to your high school bully, but that didn't mean you wanted her future husband to be late to the altar!
"Don't even bother asking me to get out of this body, dude!" the deep baritone of Carlos sings with Jimmy's cadence, "The only thing I plan on getting out of is this tux! Training like this needs to be appreciated, and who better to appreciate it than you? I'm sure you'd love to know what your sister is getting tonight..."
"I mean just look at these abs. It's like a rock hard washboard if you want a feel..." Jimmy winks one of his starkly blank eyes at you, "...speaking of being rock hard, it looks like you're enjoying this bonding time with your new brother-in-law. After all, Carlos does need to apologize for all the bullying he did in high school."
With a racing heart, you shush him and beg for Johnny to leave. He needs to return Carlos to normal before anyone notices! The wedding would be over if someone found the groom naked and flirting with the brother of the bride!
"If you're gonna be my new little bro..." Jimmy says with an unsettlingly accurate impression of Carlos' demeanor, "...then I think you should get to know me. Come on and grab my fat, meaty pecs; pinch my nipples; let me know who the real man is around here..."
It's hard to resist. You've only ever caught stolen glances at Carlos. The jerk would always shove you into a locker when he caught you staring in his direction, yet now he was begging for your attention.
"Come on, bro. Grab my athletic little ass and grope my crotch. It's the least I can do after targeting you for all these years."
Before you realize what you're doing, you find yourself rushing towards the shredded latino and pressing yourself against his exposed body, layered with dense musculature. Part of you still expected Carlos to kick you in the nuts and call you a slur, but his lips instead gleefully embrace your own.
"Damn, if I'd known being queer was this good, I woulda married you and not your sister!" he exclaims. You just roll your eyes, knowing Carlos isn't actually saying these things. Jimmy is just puppeteering his mouth for your amusement, "I bet having your dick in my mouth will be better than the tits of any girl! The only way a piece of crap like me can apologize is on my knees..."
You stifle a moan as all 200 lbs of the naked jock drops to his knees with a dopey grin. Carlos' soulless eyes stare at the tent in your pants like it's the most desirable thing in the world. It doesn't take long for him to unbuckle your pants and open his mouth...
...twenty minutes later, you're still catching your breath while Carlos slowly redresses.
"Now you can watch your sister marry this homophobic dirtbag and know that you've shoved your shaft down his throat," Jimmy purrs, enjoying his final moments in Carlos' form, "I'm not going to brush his teeth, so he'll have to taste you throughout the entire wedding."
You giggle at the thought of the guy wondering about the strange flavor in his mouth while reading his vows. Somehow, Carlos doesn't seem as big or intimidating as he once did.
"If it were up to me, I'd commandeer his whole life," Jimmy went on with a sparkle of enthusiasm in Carlos' clouded retinas, "I'd walk him out there in nothing but his heart-patterned undies and announce to his whole family that he's a flaming homosexual. Then I'd like to spend a couple weeks working his body as a stripper at the nearest club, and of course I'd come home to you every night..."
The idea of Carlos coming out to his orthodox family and working as a stripper is an insane one, but it did turn you on. It's too bad your sister's taken a liking towards him, otherwise, you'd tell Jimmy to go crazy with the guy.
"Imagine your old high school bully coming home to you every night, hot and sweaty from dancing all day, with a new skimpy costume for you to explore. Damn, I'd want you to find a new way to degrade me each night while I wore him. It'd be healthy, I think, after all he's put you through."
Jimmy's crazy ideas never cease to amaze you. A little time belittling Carlos sounds hot as hell!
You give Carlos one last kiss and remind your paranormal buddy that he has to leave soon. The stud frowns, looking sad that he won't be possessed by a gay spirit anymore. At least you know that if this man ever screws up, if he ever wrongs your sister, if he ever hurts her; Jimmy is just one seance away from charging back in his body and making this twisted fantasy come true. It's only a matter of time before Carlos screws up his marriage, and then he's yours.
You almost can't wait for your sister's marriage to fall apart, and it hasn't even begun...

DISTRACTION
Ø2
REMIYAH
It's been a couple of weeks since I last spoke to Jey. After going through his phone and seeing the messages exchanged with Jaida, I found it hard to shake off the thoughts. However, I realized that I need to redirect my focus towards my career and let go of something that was never meant to be.
He would often reach out, checking in to see if everything was alright or questioning why my texts had slowed down. I couldn't quite grasp why he was so concerned, especially since he was involved with someone else. I was seated in the catering area, enjoying my meal and scrolling through social media when I suddenly heard someone clear their throat. When I looked up, I was surprised to see it was Jimmy.
I offered him a subtle smile before saying, “Hey there, Big Jim! What’s going on?” as I set my phone down on the table.
Jimmy glanced over and asked, “Is this seat taken?” I quickly shook my head. “Nope, feel free to sit,” I replied. He settled in beside me, diving into his meal as I returned to my own tasks.
Jimmy truly felt like a big brother to me. He was always there to offer advice, even on matters I hadn’t considered before. I found myself unsure about whether to share my feelings regarding the situation between me and his brother.
While browsing my social media, I stumbled upon a story posted by Jey that piqued my curiosity. However, once I clicked on it, I immediately wished I hadn't. There he was, in his locker room, with Jaida—wasn't she supposed to be in NXT? A wave of emotion hit me, and I felt tears welling up as I set my phone aside, desperately trying to regain my composure. This didn’t go unnoticed by Jimmy, who quickly picked up on my distress.
"Are you alright, Miyah?" Jimmy inquired, noticing my gaze on him. I nodded in response, hoping to avoid drawing attention to the situation.
I stood up from my seat, my plate in hand, a weight settling in my chest as I realized that I should have stayed out of his affairs. It puzzled me why his story had such an impact on me, especially since I meant nothing to him. To him, I was merely a fleeting encounter, someone he could use and then move on from to pursue someone he truly desired.
I tossed my plate aside, barely registering Jimmy's calls. I needed solitude after that moment; I had never felt so utterly foolish for a man who clearly didn’t want me. As I made my way to the locker room, lost in my thoughts, I unexpectedly collided with someone.
As I glanced up, I realized it was Jaida, wearing that infuriating smirk that screamed ownership—he's mine, and he has no interest in you. I was left speechless, unsure of how to respond, until she finally broke the silence.
“You must be Remiyah right? The same person who thinks that she could be with my man? Tuh girl please,” Jaida spat as she brushed past me leaving me dumbfounded.
I reached my breaking point and chose to avoid returning to the locker room. Instead, I made my way to the garage where my car was parked, opting to stay there until it was time for my interviews.
I found myself in the car, tears streaming down my face, overwhelmed by a profound sense of loneliness. It felt utterly foolish to be in this position, unsure of how to navigate the situation. Running away wasn’t an option, but I certainly had the power to ignore him and keep my distance.
He might say what I want to hear if we ever discuss this, but ultimately, he'll just rush back to her, cozying up to her instead. I wish he would be that close to me, but I doubt I'll see that happen anytime soon.
As I wiped away my tears, a sudden knock on the window startled me. When I looked up, I saw Jimmy, his expression filled with concern. I let out a heavy sigh, contemplating whether I truly wanted to open up to him. After all, he would likely just defend his brother, as family tends to do.
As I unlocked the car, he slid into the passenger seat beside me, his worried expression immediately catching my attention. "I’m fine, Jim, I promise," I reassured him, crossing my arms to emphasize my sincerity.
As I unlocked the car, he slid into the passenger seat beside me, his worried expression immediately catching my attention. "I’m fine, Jim, I promise," I reassured him, crossing my arms to emphasize my sincerity.
"Miyah," he exclaimed, locking his gaze with mine. "I can see it in your eyes; something's bothering you. You wouldn't just walk away like that. What's happening?" I let out a heavy sigh, tilting my head back as I struggled to hold back the tears.
“Am I not good enough Jimmy?” I asked him which took him by surprise. “What do you mean? You’re good enough Miyah,”
"It seems that wasn't sufficient for your clueless brother," I mutter just loud enough for Jimmy to catch on. I hadn't gone into specifics about what was unfolding between me and his brother initially because it didn't seem important, but now it appears to have piqued his interest.
Jimmy let out a heavy sigh. "You both really need to have a conversation. Miyah, just express how you feel." But what good would that do? He’s with Jaida, and it would only lead to more embarrassment for me. What a brilliant idea…
Jimmy, there's really no reason to pursue that when he doesn't share the same feelings. I’d rather avoid the embarrassment that would come from it. I glanced at my phone and realized I needed to head back inside for the interview segment soon.
It’s possible that finding closure could help you both move on, but the real issue is that I struggle to distance myself from him. His sweet words and romantic gestures pull me in, only for me to feel foolish later. I sighed and turned to the mirror, determined to touch up my makeup and mask the tears I had just shed.
“That’s the issue Jim, I can’t leave him alone. He got me so fucking attached to him it’s killing me honestly makes me not want to show to work,” I vented to him.
As soon as he opened his mouth to speak, a sudden knock on the car window interrupted us. Both of us turned our heads, and to my dismay, there stood Jey—the last person I wanted to see.
As I rolled my eyes at him, Jimmy and I stepped out of the car together. I could see the frustration and confusion etched on his face, clearly questioning why Jimmy was with me. He glanced at his brother, silently indicating that he wanted to have a private conversation with me.
As Jimmy turned to leave, he wished me “good luck.” I responded with a slight smile as he disappeared back into the building. Now, it was just Jey and me, standing face to face in a heavy silence.
Before I could say something he cut me off, “the fuck is yo’ problem Miyah?” Here we go again with the blame game, which really gets under my skin. I rolled my eyes at him, crossing my arms defiantly.
“My fucking problem? My problem is you Jey that’s what the fuck is the problem,” I said.
He arched an eyebrow at me, crossing his arms over his chest in a mirror of my own stance. “Me? I’m the issue here?” Seriously, do I need to say it again? I’m not trying to sound like a stuck record.
I nudged him softly, making him lose his balance just a little.
“Yeah! Nigga you’re the fucking problem! Playing in my damn face like I’m so fucking doll!” I shouted at him feeling all of this pain and hurt inside of me.
Jey taught me a crucial lesson during our secret encounters: never raise your voice at him. Doing so doesn’t just provoke him; it fuels his desires. With his intense sex drive, he once gripped my throat, asserting dominance in a way that left me breathless. In that moment, I knew I was completely at his mercy.
“Lower your fucking tone when you speaking to me Remiyah,” he said in a raspy tone that sent waves down my spine.
“Fuck you Jey, I fucking hate you so much. treating me like shit….i fucking hate you…” I could feel myself crumbling in his presence, a sight he didn’t need to witness since he was indifferent to my struggles.
His expression clearly softened when he noticed the tears welling in my eyes, but that didn’t change the way he was treating me. If he truly didn’t want me, he could have simply walked away, and we could have avoided all of this heartache.
I tried to hold them together but my tears began to fall onto my cheeks, “I hate you, I fucking hate you!” I shouted pushing him and hitting his chest.
His grip on my throat tightened as he pinned me onto my car looking into my eyes deeply I could see the fire burning through his eyes. “Don’t fucking push it Miyah because you finna piss me off,” I scoffed at him was he fucking serious?
“What are we then Jey? Huh? I’m just some fuck buddy while you have yo’ bitch bullying me huh?” I forcefully pushed him away, spitting in the process as I yanked his hand from my throat. I was indifferent to whether I angered or frustrated him; I just had to express what was weighing on me.
“Remiyah I told you what it was when we start doing this and now yo’ ass caught feelings for me knowing I don’t want anything serious,” Jey said.
Damn that hurt like a bitch
Tears streamed down my face, smudging my makeup as I hastily wiped them away, shaking my head in frustration. "If I mean nothing to you, then let's just end this. I'm exhausted—mentally drained, to be honest. You and Jaida look so happy together, and maybe that's why you don't want anything serious with me. It's hard to ignore that," I said, my voice trembling as I noticed the shift in his expression.
I realized he was trying to control me into staying with him, but that was never going to work. I had reached my limit; I simply couldn’t endure this situation any longer.
He remained silent as I let out a frustrated sigh and walked by him. Suddenly, he seized me by the throat, pressing his lips against mine. I struggled to push him away, but his strength overpowered me. He intertwined his fingers with mine, intensifying the kiss that bound us together.
I would call myself a fool for falling for this.
His tongue danced within my mouth as he flung open the car door, pushing me into the back seat and slamming the door behind us. In an instant, his lips crashed against mine, and I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck.
This was the control he had over me.
“Take this fucking shit off,” His voice had a richer, deeper quality than usual that completely captivated me.
I was in a missionary position with my legs bend towards my sides while he was drilling my shit in while I was trying to escape from this but he wasn’t haven’t it today, I had my eyes rolling in the back of my head touching on his tatted chest something that turned me on.
Jey was pounding me into the damn seat all of this pumped up anger that he had build up all because of me but did I give me a damn? No I didn’t even care how angry he was right now after all of the shit he had put me through—throughout this whole entire thing between us.
I was done with this and I was done with him.
“I fucking hate you,” I spat at him as he chuckled at me.
“You don’t hate me baby, you love me that’s why you actin’ like this but it’s okay I’ll fix it all up,” Jey grunted as he wrapped his hand around my throat giving me his deep, mean, strokes causing me to moan loudly.
Every single thrust that he had given me had me seeing stars I didn’t know what to do with myself when it comes to him I didn’t like this toxic dynamic between us, I pushed him by his stomach trying to slow down his movements I couldn’t handle it.
He leaned closer whispering nothing my nasty shit in my ear I began wrapping my arms around his muscular body tugging on his mullet letting my heart getting in the way whispering in his ear back.
Jey pressed his lips against my neck, claiming me as if I were his Luna. The truth was, I wasn’t his; someone else held that title, and it shattered me even more. “Tell me you love me, I need to hear it,” he urged. But how could I confess my feelings to someone who didn’t truly care? It wouldn’t make a difference.
Again my heart got in the way.
“I love you Jey, only you.” I moaned throwing my head into the seat feeling his dick hitting my cervix.
“Oh, fuck. mama you feel so fucking good.” he cooed at me as he continued to circle his hips into my g-spot.
I could feel all of this pressure building up causing me to dig my nails inside of his back while he hissed at the pain but didn’t mind knowing that he’s fucking me good like no other.
I couldn't believe I had allowed him to treat me this way, but love has a way of clouding judgment. Despite my feelings of foolishness, I was deeply in love with him. As he pulled his lips away from my neck, I could see the satisfaction in his eyes, admiring the marks he had left behind.
My walls clenched up against him moaning his name was like music to his ears, apologizing to him like an idiot, telling him that he was the only man that can get me like this something that he wanted to hear from my lips.
Jey thrusted his dick in and out of me deeply had me rolling my eyes in the back of my skull at this fucking point I could see him stealing glances down there watching it going in and out.
“This my pussy right? You won’t act out like that anymore baby?” Jey purred at me as I nodded my head.
But that’s not answer that he wanted out of me thrusting deep making me gasp loudly, “yess! I won’t do that anymore daddy! fuck!” I cried out.
Jey had a smirk on his face, “good, baby. You know your pretty ass ain’t goin’ anywhere,” I had tears coming down my face feeling like I wasn’t gaining any control of this situation like I did earlier.
My mind couldn’t even comprehend anything anymore felt like I needed to be rebooted at the way he was fucking me, his dick was gliding through my g-spot like crazy I felt more and more pressure building up.
I clenched on his dick some more as he placed his lips on mine trying to make me forget about the pleasurable pain that I was having right now, I could feel a knot coming down inside of my stomach signaling that I was about to cum within seconds.
Did that matter to him?
No
I could see that the windows were fogging up along with the car shaking violently due to his mean strokes that he was giving me at the moment feeling sweat dripping down on his body.
He kept thrusting deeper and deeper inside of my wet cunt as my mouth parted into an “o” effect still tongue kissing each other in the process.
"I understand you, mama; my love for you is unwavering, and you alone hold my heart." Yet, his words felt hollow, mere echoes of what I longed to hear. The realization that he didn’t truly mean them deepened the ache in my heart, making it all the more painful to hear those sentiments from him.
Tears streamed down my cheeks as I desperately wished to believe in his love for me. The painful truth is that he never truly cared, and that realization is devastating. “I love you too, daddy fuck. I’m finna cum,” I muttered between the kiss.
I find myself in a vulnerable position, admitting my feelings for a man who seems to only turn to me when things go awry with his other relationship. It pains me to realize that my heart longs for a deeper connection, one where I can be his sole focus and not just a fallback option.
Maybe the dick was too good making me feed into my delusions of being in a serious relationship with him, maybe the way he spoils me rotten had me thinking he’ll love me, I was blind as damn bird to believe any of that.
“Make a mess on me baby, daddy’s gotchu,” that’s all it took was those few words coming from his mouth as I let out a loud moan coating his dick up with my milky cream while my body began to tremble underneath him as he continued to fuck the brains out of me.
“There you go mama, such a good girl for me,” Jey praises me while placing a kiss on my temple.
All you could hear were skins slapping against each other while the air was thickening around us smell like sweat and sex, I couldn’t say anything else letting tears flow down my face while he hid his face in my neck cursing underneath his breath.
His movements were becoming sloppier and slower within every thrust he had given he wanted me to feel him—all of him as a matter fact reminding me that I wasn’t going anywhere knowing that his dick got me feeling this way.
I felt his dick twitching inside of me as the car shook deeply, my mind my foggy at some point during all of this I tried to fought my negative thoughts and feelings on this matter but I couldn’t.
“Oh, shit. I’m finna nut baby girl, let daddy nut all in his pussy,” I didn’t respond to him just let him do it like he always did.
I wrapped my legs around his waist as he drilled into my gushy insides to the max determine to get his nut just like how I did, “Fuckkk, mama fuck,”
Jey thrust into me one last time as his warm seeds began shooting out like a volcano eruption into my walls filling me up good, hearing him letting out a deep groan at the sensation I arched my back letting it sink in for the moment.
He thrust himself into slowly making sure none of it was coming out of me and laid onto my chest hearing breathing up and down.
Jey finally withdrew after what felt like an eternity, leaving me yearning for his presence, a soft whimper escaping my lips at the sudden void. Yet, I was too lost in the moment to care. I could barely move my legs as I watched him slip into his sweats and that playful crop-top tee, his gaze locking onto mine.
I sat up straight, trying to put on my underwear and skirt while also fixing my hair. The car was completely silent; none of us spoke a word. I could sense his gaze on me, but I chose not to meet his eyes.
I reached a moment where I just wanted it all to be over. I realized I held no significance in his life, so what was the purpose of continuing? It felt foolish to think about driving my car off the road and disappearing forever.
I decided to break the uncomfortable silence, saying, “Feel free to head back inside; I’m heading home for the day,” as I made my way to the driver’s seat.
“What bout yo’ interview segment?”
I scoffed why did he care so much about that?
"Please, Jey, just give me some space. I really need to be alone right now. I can't handle any more questions." I'm feeling overwhelmed and hurt, and I just don't know how to process it all. I need this time to myself.
Jey stormed out of my car, slamming the door behind him. I couldn't care less about his attitude; my frustration with him far outweighed any annoyance he felt toward me. I fired up the engine and pulled out of the garage, determined to leave the tension behind.
I was at a loss for where to turn. Returning to my hotel room was not an option; that was the very place he would track me down, attempting to persuade me to continue this friends with benefits arrangement. I simply couldn’t entertain that idea any longer.
I pressed down on the gas, tears streaming down my cheeks as they splattered against the steering wheel. I felt utterly foolish, believing that someone like him could ever love me. After all, Jaida was stunning—light-skinned and curvy, exactly the type he was drawn to.
In every relationship I've had, I always felt inadequate, as if I was never enough. Time and again, I found myself betrayed, with partners choosing others who seemed far superior to me. Now, here I was once more, caught in a familiar cycle. My heart raced, adrenaline coursing through me as I sped down the street, grappling with the weight of it all.
My sight blurred, and I lost track of my direction as I sped through red lights, narrowly avoiding collisions with other cars. In that moment, I felt indifferent to it all; I just wanted to escape this place.
Was this dumb to kill myself over a man?
Yes.
Did I care?
No
I had given up on the idea of finding a man who would truly love me for who I am, flaws and all. I longed for someone who would reassure me that I was enough just as I am. Instead, I found myself lost in thought, driving aimlessly until I crashed my car into a tree, leaving me breathless and defeated.
I could sense the world around me swirling as blood trickled down my face, realizing that I had likely broken my nose in the process.
Maybe a broken rib or two.
The final sound that reached my ears was the blaring of my car alarm, accompanied by the rush of people approaching to check on me. They were urging someone to call for an ambulance, a request I desperately wished to avoid. In that moment, all I wanted was to escape the pain, to be free from this life rather than to continue living.
Never feeling like I could be enough in this world.
Not even for a man like Jey Uso himself.
In that moment, darkness enveloped me, and silence reigned, as I clung to the hope that my wish would be granted. I yearned for the chance to find happiness once more, perhaps in a place beyond the clouds, where joy awaited me.
I hope you’re happy.
A/n: honestly feel bad for Remiyah she doesn’t deserve all of that, hopefully she’ll gets better in the end and Jey is probably going to hear about this.
But I hope yall enjoy this part lmk in the comments below.
STAY UCEY.

formally introducing... a mafia!chratt au
“we’ve all broken our rules for someone." "...or two."
the italian mafia is the strongest and deadliest crime organization that exists in new york city. there's several families that have withstood decades fighting against each other within the mafia to gain control over the city.
the sturniolo family has held power above all others for generations. the name is feared in most households, their reputation being a ruthless one. if you were someone who ever got caught up in their dealings, you quickly came to learn that they were a cruel and intimidating family. they kept their circle tight, their business unknown and their money flowing.
but they honored loyalty like no other. they were fierce when it came to protecting their own. and you had known the sturniolo brothers since you were a small child.
justin, nick, matt, and chris.
your mother told you stories about the couple that lived in the house directly across from yours. she used to be close friends with them. a few days after you were born, they welcomed triplets. practically everyone in town ranted and raved, gushing over the rare occurrence.
however, their father jimmy, did not appreciate the amount of attention that it was gathering.
he adored his baby boys... loved them. but he was a hard and strict man, involved in a dangerous line of work. something he was able to keep a secret for years. he couldn't afford people sticking their noses into his life, more than they usually did. especially when he was on the cusp of something big at the time.
he wanted to send the boys to live with their uncle on the other side of town. they could still learn the ropes of the family business, as all sons are expected to do in the mafia.
they would be raised there, at least until they were older, and gained their own identities and differences. as small children, you could barely tell them apart. they would get stopped almost every place they went. jimmy argued with mary lou, insisting that they would be the cause of him getting caught. he was paranoid. he believed attention lead to gossip and gossip lead to exposure.
the mafia weren't the only cruel and harsh people in the city.
but mary lou refused, threatening that she would divorce him if he made them leave. so he had no choice but to keep his boys home.
he was tough on them, like he was with justin. teaching them how to fight, how to intimidate. how to run the business.
how to take over when the day comes and he would be gone.
he was arrested when you were 16, the memories of it still fresh in your mind. it was the early hours of the morning when you heard the loud banging.. the shouting. their house was raided, and you watched from your bedroom window as they dragged out jimmy in handcuffs.
it was then you found out what kind of world the triplets were really born into.
it was agreed since you were young that they would always protect you, due to your mothers connection from years ago and the bond that seemed to develop as you all grew up together.
there used to be sunny afternoons, goofing around in their backyard after school or snowy weekends during the winter, sipping stolen liquor around the warm fireplace.
but after the arrest, you didn't see your friends as much as you used to. it quickly changed into them missing days from school and friday nights alone in your room. their uncle rob would often take the boys on jobs, while their mom was passed out drunk on the couch.
he moved into their house once jimmy was sentenced to help continue raising them. he was given 15 years. the boys would be much older then, and they needed to catch up fast to the harsh realities of their family business. who knew what could happen to their father in jail.. being one of the most undercover powerful crime bosses in the city meant you had plenty enemies.
and now... it's 1987. you just turned 21, feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. your mom is sick, and has been for the past few years. cancer.
it's just you and your aunt now to take care of her. your dad left when you were 5 and you've only felt a real sense of family when you used to eat sunday dinner at the sturniolo house.
your dreams of attending university once you graduated are lost. the cozy diner a few blocks from your neighborhood is currently keeping you afloat, and you save whatever money you can from tips so that you can maintain a sliver of hope of moving far away from this crime-ridden and corrupt city.
you avoid the sturniolos like the plague. you want nothing to do with their way of living. and they don't seem to care about the distance you've created or they're simply too involved in their business, the own crushing weight of their family name and responsibilities on their shoulders as well.
it's just that... you can't help the feeling of longing that resides in your chest. the way you miss what once was.
you hold a soft spot in your heart for them, for their family. they might intimidate everyone else but not you. you know them.
you know who they really are.
disclaimer! : this au is dark and has many themes and descriptions of violence, crime, sex and drugs. i do not condone any of the actions or events that will be included in this story nor do i claim to have accurate knowledge of gangs, mafias, crime, etc. it's also a borderline poly relationship dynamic between reader and matt and chris [not incestual obviously] but if that bothers you, then this fic is not for you.

I am INSUFFERABLE when it comes to him <3
Summary: Solo enacts his plans to take over as the Head of the Table. Complete with his own new enforcer, Tama Tonga. And to top it off, Solo also has a new inside (wo)man to replace Paul in Nick Aldis's assistant, whom Tama takes an interest in.
It's going down tonight. So stay ready.
You read the text from Solo on your phone with an eager smile on your face. Across the room, Nick yaps away on the phone with someone from the FOX executive office. You glance over at him and nod to the door signaling that you're stepping out when he meets your gaze.
Nick nods and goes back to his phone call. You rise out of your worn-out office chair and step out into the hall. You make the journey from the office all the way down to the staging area backstage, where some of the crew are keeping an eye on the flow of the show.
"Everything alright down here, guys?" You head over to the crew once you're through the door.
"Yep." One of the crewmen nods and glances back at you. "Need anything boss?" He asks you.
You shake your head and turn your attention to the monitors on the wall just as Solo is making his way down to the ring. "I just came to check up on stuff for Nick." You explain.
The crewman nods and both of you go back to watching the monitors carefully.
Out in the ring, Solo steps into the squared circle with Jimmy and Paul at his side. Roman is busy sulking after his loss to Cody, so he didn't bother to show up for work. Like usual.
Paul attempts to start his usual spiel about Roman's loss and how this obviously isn't the end of the Tribal Chief. But Solo cuts him off. Paul watches in shock as Sikoa snatches the microphone from his grasp and lays down the new law.
Backstage, you watch with a neutral face as Solo embraces his brother in one last heartfelt hug. The brothers share a friendly-seeming hug before suddenly a hooded figure rushes the ring and takes Jimmy out with a hard blow to the back of the head.
The hooded figure rises to their feet and pulls off the hood to reveal Tama Tonga. One of the great Haku's sons.
"What the hell?" One of the crewmen comments once Tama is revealed. "I didn't see this on the schedule." He picks up the schedule for the night and does a quick once-over of it.
"It's been cleared with the boss, don't worry." You set a hand on his shoulder with an assuring smile.
With the secret now out, you walk away from the stagehand desk and head for the curtain. Solo comes marching up the ramp and through the curtain a few seconds later. You smile at him and glance over at Tama as he steps up behind Sikoa.
"Tama, this is, YN. She's our inside girl." Solo glances between the two of you. "YN, this is my cousin, Tama Tonga." He introduces the two of you.
"Nice to finally meet you, Tama." You step forward and offer your hand for a handshake. "Solo's been talking nonstop about his new enforcer."
Tama glances down at your outstretched hand before he does a once-over of the rest of you. A sly smile plays on his lips as he reaches out and shakes your hand firmly. "The pleasure is all mine. Trust me, sweetheart." Tama grins at you.
Your eyebrows raise slightly with intrigue as you drop your hand back to your side. Tama continues to look at you with a gaze that could bring a girl to her knees. The look on his face screams smug, self-assured, fuckboy. But boy are you digging it.
"Well, I'll let you two handle whatever business that you need to get done." You step back over to Solo. "News about our new buddy here should be reaching Nick's desk by now. So I've got to go smooth that over with him." You explain.
"Anything I need to worry about?" Solo asks you.
You shake your head and wave your hand dismissively. "Not at all." You assure Solo. "Nick's a pushover. And I already submitted all the mind-numbing paperwork earlier today."
"Atta girl." Solo nods with a pleased look. "Meet up back in the locker room after the show, yeah? We'll grab drinks and get to work on the next phase of the plan." He suggests.
"Yes, boss." You tease and dismiss yourself. "I'll catch you two sinister backstabbers later." You add with a playful wink.
Solo and Tama both watch you walk off before Tama turns to his cousin. "She single?" He outright asks Solo.
"Far as I know, yeah." Solo rolls his eyes. "Come on, I'll show you where the locker room is." He nods to the hallway to the far side of the room before taking off.
Tama grins to himself and follows Solo back to the locker rooms. Plans are already forming in his head about how he's going to knock you off your feet the next time that he sees you.
A few hours later, you finally finish putting all of Nick's worries about Tama to rest. Smackdown has come to an end and the arena is beginning to become deserted save for the cleaning crew. You make your way down to the locker rooms and knock on the new Bloodline locker room door.
"Yeah?" Tama answers the door with a sneer that instantly warps into a shit-eating grin when he sees you standing in the doorway. "Well well well, look who finally decided to show up?" He steps out of the way and lets you into the room. "How are you doing tonight, pretty mami?"
"Better now that I'm done listening to Nick bitch and moan about you." You quip back with a playful grin. "You're not here for more than a couple of hours, Tama. And you're already a pain in my ass." You tease him.
Tama chuckles, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Well, by all means then, gorgeous. Tell me? How I can make it up to you?" He asks you.
"Oh, I'm sure that I'll come up with something." You giggle and step past him so you can get to Solo. "Everything's all smoothed out with, Aldis, Solo." You report to Sikoa. "Tama is officially entered into the roster database as a member of Smackdown."
"Good." Solo nods. "You ready to head out then?" He asks you. "Because I am more than done with this place." He sneers and gets to his feet.
You nod and everyone heads out. You all stop back at the hotel to change out of your work clothes and agree to meet back up in the lobby later.
You get back to your room and immediately dig around for the most suggestive top and pant combo that you have with you. You find what you're looking for and touch-up your makeup as well before heading down to the lobby.
When you make it down to the lobby, Colo and Tama are waiting for you. Solo doesn't seem phased by your wardrobe change. But the look in Tama's eyes makes you shiver. Oh, yes. You're about to have one hell of a good rest of your night.

erm perhaps mouthwashing characters + younger sibling!reader??maybe angst like dying in their arms perchance,,thx!!!
You're getting somewhere......
Not proofread, obviously.
Curly was so happy when you came on the Tulpar, whether you're an intern or a new worker, he's suppopeperrr duppoerrr happy about it. He's kinda protective, he'll monitor you a lil more than the other crew members. They're all his responsibility though, so he won't go overboard. He needs to make sure the others are alright as well, ykkk??? Since i see no other way of you dying before he gets crashed, let's sayyyy...... The ship does crash like ingame, but you followed him like the STUPID LITTLE SHIT EVER. You're right outside the cockpit, and just before they hit the meteorite, Curly sees yo ass and tries to get you away, but fucks up and throws you into the fire. He pretty much goes fucking insane and tries to save you and gets himself burnt a little. Now you're a quarter bit more of a corpse and he's fucking bawling. You won't die yet, but you'll be soosososooooo happy when you do.
I don't think Jimmy is that happy that you're working together. Nah, he probably fuckin hates it. Now, people always assume that siblings will fight no matter what, that's a bit of an advantage for him he can say whatever shit he wants, and people will just be like "Oh, that's just how siblings are". A lot more meaner to you than he is to everybody else and sometimes forcibly shows you how to do your job right. He's probably the one killing you, and he'll barely feel any remorse. If not him, he still won't really care that much, “I told you so" that's him. If he cared...... It'd only be because he doesn't want to damage his reputation......
It's hard for me to think of Swansea having a younger sibling. I guess his parents fucked again when he was like 20-40 whatever you want and have a child that is raised better than he was. He'll still treat you like Daisuke, but you're family, so he's nicer. Holds nothing against you despite being the child that y'alls parents tried harder and better on. Acts like he has something to teach you, and does kind of teach you. I imagine that your parents didn't really like when you were with him during his drunk years, so you never really had time to spend together. If you died, he lowk wouldn't show how it affects him, but he becomes more irritable. Lashing out at people. Thinks it's his fault for you dying because he couldn't be a better brother. Thinks y'alls parents would fucking hate him for letting you die, might as well kill himself/hj.
Now, Daisuke. He's ecstatic!!! His little sibling with him? (You're in an intern here, idgaf) He's so happy that mom didn't send him alone. At least there's someone there that understands him. You and Daisuke are basically the children the others babysit. When you die, he just kind like.... Ykykykyk breaks down. Fuckung sobs himself on you, and he's scared that y'alls parents will get mad and hate him for not protecting you and he also thinks its his fault. Now he feels like the loneliest person ever, and he'll just be in a constant grieving state. All that standard stuff until he dies. Letss says that Jimmy was the one that killleed you. Daisuke would stay far away from him, and be all awkward whene he tries to talk with him
I feel like the person who'd take it the hardest is Anya, it just feels right to say that. You die a slow death, not slow and painful like Curly, but still dying slowly in pain. She'll try to treat you, but struggle lots because she just can't bear the sight of you in pain. Ultimately, she'll feel guilty when you die and blame herself for not being able to take care of you like a proper nurse should. This is really short and i hate that.

PART EIGHT
PART NINE
The drive to Pensacola was quiet for Josh. Alina is curled into the passenger seat, fast asleep. It didn’t take long for the sleep-deprived woman to succumb to her body’s pleas for rest. She was out the moment the seat went back. Alina clasped her phone tightly in her right hand and pressed it against her chest. She was expecting a text or a phone call from her best friend, one that would not come. Josh would glance over at her sleeping frame several times, contemplating prying that phone from her hand. All it was doing was putting her in a bad headspace.
She needed a distraction from that drama, and he planned to do just that—starting with a double date with Jon and Trin tonight. He had alerted the couple to their plans to be in the city just as they were leaving Atlanta. Trinity instantly started brainstorming things to do and sent him an itinerary for the evening. They were now three minutes from his home--the time reading 4:48 PM.
The music that was playing softly on the radio came to a stop, suddenly being replaced with the ringing of Josh's phone. He peers down at the radio screen, reading his Mother's name. He smiles softly to himself, pressing the answer button on the steering wheel. "Yeah?" He answers.
"Hi, son." Talisua pipes. "How are you?" She asks. Alina stirs at the sound of Josh's mother's voice coming through the car's speakers. Josh glances over at her, watching as she relaxes once more. Not once did she wake up.
"Never better." He replies. "You good?"
"I'm fine. I won't keep you long, though, because I know you're driving," Talisua starts. "Are you free tomorrow evening for family dinner?" It was rare for all of her sons to be in the same city at the same time, and she liked cooking for them when they were.
"Yes, ma'am," He answers, "Ay, I got someone for y'all to meet too." He informs her.
"Oh?" She says, surprised. "Another mouth to feed? O'u aso, be still my beating heart. I cannot wait to meet her! Her, right? Not a kid?" She asks, causing him to laugh.
"You'd know if it was a kid, I promise." He assures her. Talisua squeals softly from the other side of the phone. Her son having a girlfriend was big news--big, big news. She had to break out the good plates for this one, but he doesn't need to know. She has waited for that man to find a lady he liked for a few years. Each time she asked him about one, he'd shrug the question off, mumbling something about not being interested in anyone. If he's bringing her to dinner, it has to be serious. It has to be.
"I trust you. Six o'clock tomorrow night, Joshua. No later." She says sternly. "I love you."
"I love you too." He replies, ending the call immediately after. The car fills with soft music again. Josh takes a deep breath, letting his right hand run over his face as he does so. Now, he had that to worry about. He didn't worry much about his mom liking Alina--no, he knew they would get along just fine. It was his Dad he worried about. He was always very...opinionated about his and his brothers' dating preferences. If he gave Jon and Sefa a hard time, he would definitely give him one.
After a few more moments on this winding road, Josh pulls into the driveway of his home. He leans forward against the steering wheel, peering up at the large house he's practically abandoned. He's lived here five years, the longest he's stayed anywhere, and now he was willing to give it all up for the woman in the passenger seat.
Josh turns his attention to Alina, his hand reaching for her hip. He shakes her gently. "Baby," He says, leaning towards her slightly. She draws in a breath, a groan coming from her semi-conscious frame. "We made it." He informs her. Her heavy breathing quietens, a sign she is waking up.
"Hm?" She hums.
"I said we made it." He rubs over her hip gently, making sure to keep her awake. She lets out a sigh before moving to sit up in her seat. She sits there momentarily with her eyes shut before turning on her phone screen to read notifications. Josh would suck his teeth at her before reaching over to snatch her phone. Alina looks up at him, her eyes widening at him."Nah, bruh, you been glued to that damn phone all day. I want you here with me, not in this." He says, waving the phone at her. Josh slips the phone into his pocket before climbing out of the car.
He hated to be that kind of man, but this was getting out of hand. Alina watched Josh walk around the car, her mouth slightly agape at the man. Though she knew he had taken her phone for a good reason, she was still shocked he did it. He opens her door, gesturing for her to get out. She slowly climbed out of the car, her eyes locking with his as she passed by. The glare she shot him would earn her a smack of his lips and a shrug.
"And?" He says, returning her attitude. "Here," He says, passing her his house keys. "I'll get our stuff. Jon and Trin will be by soon. We got plans." He moves around her to the backdoor. "And don't lock me out of the house either. You got that shit bad." He says while reaching for their suitcases. No response comes from Alina as she makes her way towards the front door. Josh placed the two heavy suitcases on the pavement and wheeled them up the driveway.
Alina quickly unlocks the front door to his home, leaving the door open wide for him as she walks in. In all the two years she had known Josh, she had only been to his home twice. The company rarely passed through Pensacola, and because of that, Josh seldom ever came home--well, that and the fact that he practically moved in with Alina.
Josh entered his home, a sigh leaving his lips as cool air greets him to relieve him of the humid summer air outdoors. His eyes scanned the small foyer he stood in. Nothing had changed since the last time he was here. It was just as he left it last."Home sweet home." He mutters to himself, pushing the suitcases up against the wall near the staircase. He makes his way towards the living room, glancing up the stairs as he does so. "Baby." He calls.
"In here." She responds, her voice pulling him to the living room. There, in the center of the room, stood Alina. Her arms are folded across her chest as she peered into the backyard. She was deep in thought. The drama of the night before had her stuck and unable to process it. Whereas she was stressing about the state of her friendship with Tasha, Josh was actively trying to pull her mind away from it.
"What's out there?" He asks, approaching her slowly. She slowly shakes her head, silently answering the man behind her. Josh steps in front of her, drawing her gaze from his chest and up to his eyes. Despite the almost five-hour nap she took, Alina still looked tired. The natural dark circles that adorned her undereye seemed darker today. Perhaps it was from the lack of sleep. Or maybe from the crying. Or a combination of both. Josh takes her face between his large hands, his thumbs grazing her cheekbones. "Ay," He starts. "just give her time. She'll talk to you when she's ready." He reminds her.
Alina closed her eyes, a sigh leaving her lips as she did so. "I know." She whispers. She opens her eyes slightly, peering at him through thick lashes. "I just feel bad." She reminds him.
"Ain't no reason to." He says quickly, shaking his head. "If anything, she should be mad at me. I'm the one that was fighting, not you. Hell, if I have to, I'll call her myself. I got your phone." He says, making her roll her eyes.
"I'm going to need that back, by the way." She says, stepping back. "People need me." She whispers at him, tilting her chin up. Josh catches her hands, pulling her back into him. She giggles.
"Girl, I need you," Josh argues, lifting his eyebrows at her. "Got me out here competing with a damn phone for your attention." She laughs, her head dropping against his chest. "I don't see anything funny." He says, dropping her hands and wrapping her in an embrace. The smell of Josh's cologne filled her nose, making her relax in his arms. They'd stand there for several moments, enjoying the silence.
Alina eventually wraps her arms lazily around his waist before lifting her head to look at her man again. He shifts his gaze down to her. "I love you." She whispers. The corners of his mouth would turn up slightly at her words. He doesn't say it back. Instead, he responds with a kiss. He leans in, pressing his lips softly to her own. His beard would tickle her skin like any other time they'd kiss. She responds to it, her fingers playing with the fabric on the back of the black tank top he wore. His hands, just as they did any other time he touched her, would begin to roam--He couldn't help it. He couldn't get enough of this lady in his arms.
It always started tame with her, but the moment Josh gets handsy, all bets are off. His hands would curve over her backside, earning himself a hum from her. Her hands vanish beneath his shirt, traveling along his spine. They'd move around the front, now gliding down his abdomen. His stomach retracts at her cool hands against his warm skin.
Suddenly, Josh lifts Alina into his arms, deepening the kiss as he does so. We have time, he thought as he moved them towards the couch. Carefully, he lowered her onto the sofa, settling between her legs as he did so. Alina reaches over his shoulders and pulls his shirt over his head. They'd break the kiss for a brief intermission. He snatches the shirt from her hands and tosses it to the side. They resume their passion-filled kiss, Alina's hands now being the ones roaming. His hips would grind against hers, creating a hard-to-ignore friction between the two.
"Damn, y'all couldn't make it to the bedroom?" A voice says from behind them. The moment they were sharing would come to a screeching stop. Josh breaks the kiss and lifts his head. "Just getting freaky where the company sits?" Jon adds.
"The doorbell broke, Uce?" Josh asks, now glancing over his shoulder. There was irritation in his voice at the disturbance his brother caused. For the first time, Jon would see the shiner Josh had. He stifles a laugh, his cheeks filling with air as he sputters and turns away. He finally lets out that loud laugh he was fighting before turning to face them again. Josh moves off of Alina, standing to retrieve his shirt. "Yeah, laugh it up." He mutters, putting his shirt on.
Jon brings a closed fist to his mouth, quickly hopping from left to right as he laughs. "Damn, he got your ass good!" He says, stopping to look at him. "He better look worse."
"Jon," Alina calls, sitting up on the sofa. The eldest twin pauses, his mouth slightly agape.
"You lost!?" He exclaims.
"The fuck I look like losing?" Josh shouts.
Trinity comes around the corner. "What are y'all in here being--. Oh my God!" She exclaims, at Josh's eye. Jon laughs again, his eyes squeezing shut at his wife's reaction. The younger twin sucks his teeth at them, turning to make his way back over to Alina. "Josh, you didn't!" She says.
"See, if you would've let me get on that flight, this wouldn't have happened," Jon says to Trinity. She begins to argue quietly with him. Josh would sit down next to Alina, his brows furrowed angrily at the pair. His eyes would shift from them to the floor. Alina grabs his hand and brings it to her lips. He turns his focus to her, his eyes scanning her face. He should've canceled their plans for tonight. She leans over and presses a quick kiss to his lips.
"Boy, bye," Trinity says, turning her attention to Alina and Josh. "The Uber is three minutes down the road." She informs them. Alina leans forward to peer around Josh, her eyes finding Trinity. Josh never told her what they had planned for the evening. Based on the way Jon and Trin were dressed, it couldn't be something too fancy.
"Where are we going?" She asks.
"It's a surprise." Trin answers. Alina's eyes flicker down to Josh's, but he glances away. Strange. Alina looks between the two of them.
"Okay..." She says slowly.
"It's gonna be fun, snookums, I promise," Trinity assures her. "Ain't that right, babe." She says, looking over her shoulder. Jon leans off the wall, nodding.
"Oh for sure!" He says, walking over to them. "We gonna have a few drinks, eat some good food, and have a good time." He says, backing up his wife. "Nobody getting they ass whooped tonight." He adds.
"Really?" Trinity and Alina say in unison, looking up at Jon as they do so.
"What? I'm just saying we're each other's backup. No twin or wife left behind, right, Uce? Big bruh here now." Jon says, holding his hand out towards Josh.
Josh's top lip curls in annoyance at his brother. He lifts his index finger, pointing it at the man. "Man, I can't stand your ass sometimes." He says. Jon bites his cheek, a poor attempt to suppress his smile. He turns away, making his way back over to the wall he was leaning on. On his way over, he slightly doubles over, letting out a shout.
Trin looks at Josh, a sympathetic grin on her face. She leans in to grab his face, examining the bruise. "You are alright, right?" She asks.
"Yeah, I'm good, sis." He assures her. She steps back from him, glancing down at her cell phone.
"Uber's here." She informs them, moving towards her husband. She grabs his hand, pulling him from the living room and out the front door. Josh and Alina remain seated for a few moments longer.
Josh takes a deep breath and stands to his feet. "Well, honey," He starts. "We best get going." He finishes. Alina smiles at the sound of him calling her honey. It was quickly becoming her favorite term of endearment to hear from him.
Alina moves around him, now pulling him towards the front door. "So," She breathes. "To be continued?" She asks, turning to face him. Her teeth sink into her bottom lip as she watches him. She's walking backward, leading them out of the house. He pulled the front door shut as he took in Alina's appearance. Even when she wasn't dressed to the nines, he looked at her like he could tear her apart where she stood.
His eyes find hers again. "You crazy as hell if you think I wasn't spinning the block for your ass later."

HII OMG i just saw ur jimmy valmer post and i loved it sm it was so adorable </33 i was wondering if you could do the same w kyle ?? but switch it up a lil like maybe the reader was the one chasing him instead of kyle chasing her himself >:3
⟢ over me.
➜ in which ! the prettiest person chases after a ginger.
💌 ﹫kyle broflovski.
✩ 🎸 warnings﹗none.
🍓 ⟡ notes — boys planet reference title hhh. this is pretty short but i hope you do enjoy this little blurb <3
no one could understand how this has happened.
"Can I get your number?" You questioned with a smile as Kyle looked up from his lunch to see you standing there.
He paused before responding, "Oh sorry. I don't give my number out to people I don't know that well, sorry."
The cafeteria went silent, people staring in shock as you frowned. "Oh, alright..." And then you walked away.
"DUDE WHAT THE FUCK-"
he didn't really understand the hype around you, yeah you were drop-dead gorgeous but you were still a normal person.
definitely got shit on for rejecting you by everyone.
but even after kyle rejected you, you kept trying to impress him. brother was so confused on why you were trying so hard.
"For me?" Kyle questioned taking the flowers from your hands.
You nodded excitedly pushing a bag filled with gifts and snacks into his hands as well. "And these too."
"Isn't this a bit much?"
"Never for you, Kyle."
kyle would constantly let you down lightly since he knew how much rejection hurt (thanks to cartman L)
but as time progressed, he found himself getting excited everyday to see what you would do to try and woo him.
"Stan, what do you think she has planned next? Maybe chocolates... or maybe they'll do something outside of school! Wouldn't that be-"
"You sure are excited for someone who's gonna reject them."
"I'm not excited! I'm just. Curious. Yup. That's it."
at times he'd even make sure he looked his best before leaving the house so you'd compliment him even just a bit more.
he got so used to it in fact that when he walked into school and nothing happened he was a bit concerned.
he waited the entire day, he even saw you walking around the school like normal.
so where was your confession?
"Huh? Where's the grand gesture?"
"Kyle. I think they gave up, it has been almost a month I'd get sick of getting rejected by now..."
"What."
and then he realizes very quickly how much he likes you.
the next day he promptly decides to just ask you out, being the straightforward man he is. kyle asks you if you come to a nice cafe together for lunch because he wanted to discuss some things.
"Um, is there a reason you wanted to meet?" You questioned sitting down across from him quite nervous.
Kyle huffed twiddling with his hands before looking at you. "I like you. A lot. "
You stared at him for a second before busting out laughing. "Really? After all that, that's all I get? Man, I knew there was a reason I liked you."
He rolled his eyes playfully. "You've done everything in the books Y/N. There wasn't much I can do to outdo your confessions."
"What can I say? I'm just too good." You replied with a smirk.
There was a pause before he asked, "You do still like me right? You did say 'liked'. It's totally fine- just wondering since you know, you didn't do another confession..."
"Nah, just wanted to see what would happen if I didn't do a grand gesture one day. But, it seems like it worked!"

Chapter 17: Heavy
The room felt smaller, as if the argument had sucked all the air out of it. I leaned against the wall, my arms crossed tightly over my chest, while Jey paced the floor like a caged animal. His breaths were heavy, his movements restless.
“I’m sorry, Nyeya,” he said finally, breaking the silence. His voice was quieter now, no longer edged with anger but laced with something deeper—regret perhaps. “I didn’t mean for it to go like that. I just… I can’t stand the thought of someone trying to come between us. You know how I feel about you. You know how deep this shit is.”
I stayed silent, my heart still pounding from the intensity of it all. My thoughts raced, caught between wanting to believe him and knowing this wasn’t the first time he’d apologized like this. “Jey, you can’t keep doing this. It’s too much. I don’t… I don’t know how long I can keep dealing with you popping off on me.”
He stopped pacing, turning to face me. The hardness in his expression softened, and he closed the distance between us. “I know I messed up,” he admitted, his voice raw. “But you’re everything to me, Nye. I swear I’ll do better. Just… don’t walk away from me. Not tonight.”
His words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken promises. I wanted to push back, to tell him words weren’t enough anymore, but the look in his eyes stopped me. Vulnerability wasn’t something Jey wore often, and seeing it now made it harder to hold onto my anger.
“You always say that. You always do this,” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.
“And I mean it this time,” he said quickly, his hand brushing against mine. His touch was light, hesitant, as if he was afraid I’d pull away. “Stay with me tonight. We’ll figure it out in the morning. Please, baby.”
I hesitated, the logical part of me screaming to leave, to go home and put space between us. But the vulnerability in his voice and the way he looked at me pulled at something deeper. Against my better judgment, I nodded. “Alright. I’ll stay.”
---
As we left the room, the heavy tension started to lift, though it didn’t disappear completely. My eyes scanned the crowded living room, spotting Kiyah near the kitchen with Jacob still close by her side. Natasha was laughing with Tama and Tonga, while Nataya and Jimmy were tucked into a quiet corner, her hand resting on his knee as they whispered to each other.
I hesitated, but Jey gave me a reassuring nod before stepping away to talk to Sami near the backyard.
Kiyah was the first to notice me approaching, her eyes narrowing with concern. “You okay, Nye? You look…” she paused, glancing behind me as if searching for Jey. “What happened?”
I shrugged, not trusting my voice to sound steady. “I’m fine. We just needed to talk some things out. It’s all good now.”
Natasha joined us, her brow furrowed. “Talk about what? We saw how he dragged you outta here. What’s going on, Nye? He trippin’ again?”
“Nothing,” I said quickly, forcing a small smile. “Everything’s fine now. Really. I’m… I’m gonna stay with him tonight."
Kiyah’s expression turned skeptical. “You sure that’s a good idea?”
Nataya, who had finally made her way over, looked between me and Jey from afar. “Girl, we’ll cover for you if your mama asks, but you need to make sure you’re good. I mean, really good. If you’re not sure, come home with us.”
I appreciated their concern, but I could feel Jey’s eyes on me from across the room, his posture relaxed yet watchful. “I’m sure,” I said, louder this time. “He’s… he’s trying, y’all. I just need to give him a chance. We’ll work things out.”
Kiyah’s lips pressed into a thin line, but she nodded. “Alright. But you call us if anything goes left. Promise me, Nye.”
“Promise,” I said, hoping my voice sounded steadier than I felt.
Satisfied, the girls let it go, but the worry in their eyes stayed with me as I walked back to Jey. He stood near the back door, leaning against the frame with his hands in his pockets. His gaze softened when I approached.
“Everything good?” he asked, his tone low and calm.
“Yeah,” I said, nodding. “Let’s go.”
---
The ride to Jey’s house was quiet, the city streets bathed in the glow of streetlights. I stared out the window, my thoughts tangled. Jey’s hand rested on the gear shift, his fingers tapping rhythmically, a small but noticeable sign of his lingering tension.
“I’ll get you home early,” he said, breaking the silence. “Before anyone notices you missing. You said mama don’t trip right if she think you with Kiyah.”
I nodded, my gaze still fixed on the passing buildings. The lies he had me telling sat uncomfortably in my chest, but I didn’t argue.
---
Morning light spilled through the blinds of Jey’s bedroom, casting soft shadows across the walls. The faint scent of his cologne lingered in the air, mingling with the distant hum of traffic outside. I woke to the weight of his arm draped over my waist, his body warm against mine. For a moment, I lay there, replaying the events of the night before. The fight. The apology. The lingering doubt that refused to leave.
Jey stirred beside me, his grip tightening slightly before he opened his eyes. “Morning,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep.
“Morning,” I replied, shifting to sit up.
He propped himself up on one elbow, watching me. “About last night… I meant what I said. I’m sorry. I know I need to do better. I don’t want to lose you.”
I looked down at my hands, tracing invisible patterns on the blanket. “Jey, you can’t keep saying that and then doing the same thing over and over. I… I need things to change.”
“And they will,” he said firmly, sitting up fully now. “Tonight, at the park if you come, it’s just gonna be good vibes. No drama. No fights. Just us having a good time. I promise, Nye. Let me make it up to you.”
I wanted to believe him. The sincerity in his voice made it hard to hold onto my doubts. “Alright,” I said finally, my voice barely audible. “I’ll come.”
His face softened into a smile, and he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. “That’s my girl.”
---
By the time Jey dropped me off at home, the morning was quiet, the street bathed in soft sunlight. He pulled the car to a stop in front of my house and turned to face me.
“I’ll see you around four. I got some business to handle before I get there,” he said, his tone lighter now. “Wear something cute for me. You know how I like it.”
I rolled my eyes but couldn’t stop the small smile that crept onto my face. “Cool. I’ll see you later.”
He leaned in, his lips capturing mine in a kiss that was soft but lingering, his hand lightly brushing my cheek. When he pulled back, his grin was back in place. “Later, baby.”
I stepped out of the car, closing the door behind me. As he drove off, I stood there for a moment, the smile fading from my face. The warmth of his kiss lingered, but so did the knot in my stomach. Was I making the right choice? I shook my head, pushing the thought aside as I headed inside. For now, I’d let myself hope that today would be different.
---
The midday sun beamed down as I stepped out of the house, my swimsuit covered by a loose, sheer wrap. Natasha and Nataya were already waiting by the car, chattering excitedly about the park party. Kiyah walked up behind me, adjusting her bag on her shoulder. "You good?" she asked, her voice soft.
"Yeah, I’m good," I replied, though my stomach twisted with unease.
We piled into the car Jimmy let Nataya borrow, the twins up front with Natasha driving. She was the best driver out of us. The ride to the park was filled with chatter and laughter, the excitement contagious despite my own lingering doubts. I stared out the window, trying to convince myself this would be a good day.
---
The park was alive with activity. Music blared from speakers set up near the pool, the beats vibrating through the warm summer air. Groups of people danced on the grass; their movements carefree. Others gathered around picnic tables piled high with food—burgers, hot dogs, aluminum pans of baked beans and mac and cheese. The pool glistened, a handful of kids splashing while some adults lounged on inflatable floats, their drinks held high above the water.
“Okay, let’s party,” Natasha said, clapping her hands together as she stepped out of the car. The twins wasted no time joining the festivities, leaving Kiyah and me standing by the lot.
Kiyah turned to me, her expression shifting from excitement to concern. “Alright, Nye, real talk. Are you okay? Like, really okay?"
I hesitated, caught off guard by her directness. “I… Yeah. I’m cool. Why wouldn’t I be?”
Kiyah crossed her arms, giving me a look that said she wasn’t buying it. “You’ve been off lately. Last night wasn’t nothing. And I know how Jey can be especially with you.”
“He’s not that bad,” I said quickly, the words tumbling out before I could think them through. “He’s just… going through some stuff. You know how life gets. It’ll work out.”
“Uh-huh,” Kiyah said, unimpressed. “Listen, I get it. He’s got that whole charm thing going on, but nothing—and I mean nothing—is worth losing yourself over. Not even a Prada Boi.”
Her words hit harder than I wanted to admit. I forced a small smile, hoping to ease her concern. “I’m not losing myself, Kiyah. I’m good. I promise.”
She studied me for a moment before sighing. “Alright. Just… don’t let him drag you down, Nye. You’re better than that. And he not all that anyway.”
“I won’t,” I assured her, though the pit in my stomach said otherwise.
Satisfied, Kiyah grinned and bumped my shoulder. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a date with Jacob. I think I can play step-mama for the right price.” She turned and disappeared into the crowd, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
---
I made my way to the pool, slipping off my wrap and sitting at the edge with my feet dangling in the water. The coolness was a welcome relief from the summer heat, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. I glanced around, my heart skipping when I saw him.
Damian stood on the far side of the pool, leaning casually against a fence with a drink in his hand. His eyes were fixed on me, his gaze heavy and unrelenting. My breath hitched, and I felt suddenly exposed, the swimsuit clinging to my skin like a second layer.
I looked away quickly, my heart pounding. Why was he here? Why now?
The rumble of an engine broke through my thoughts, and I turned to see Jey’s car pulling into the parking lot. He stepped out, his walk slightly unsteady, a bottle of liquor dangling from one hand. He was shirtless, his tattoos on full display, the ink stretching across his chest and arms, a bold statement of who he was. His eyes were glassy, his grin lazy, and his shorts hung low on his hips, completing the effortless look. He looked good as hell.
I pushed myself up from the pool and walked toward him, meeting him halfway. “You’re late,” I said, trying to keep my tone light but unable to hide the edge of annoyance in my voice.
“I’m right on time, baby,” he replied, his arm slipping around my waist and pulling me closer. The smell of alcohol clung to him, sharp and undeniable, but his touch was steady, almost comforting. “You miss me?”
I hesitated for a moment, studying his glassy eyes and the way his grin tilted slightly to the side. “Maybe. Did you miss me?”
“More than you know,” he said, his voice dropping low. He leaned in, brushing his lips against mine in a featherlight tease before pulling back. “You been behaving without me?”
I hesitated before nodding. “Of course.”
His grin widened, and he held the bottle out to me. “Here,” he said, holding the bottle between us. “Take a sip. Loosen up. It’s a celebration, right?”
I took the bottle hesitantly, the liquor burning as it slid down my throat. Jey’s fingers danced on my hip, the touch intimate, almost claiming. He leaned in as I swallowed, his lips brushing the corner of my mouth. "That’s my girl," he whispered, his voice thick with satisfaction. I glanced toward the pool and caught Damian watching us, his expression unreadable. The intensity of his gaze made my skin prickle, and a surge of defiance rose in me.
Turning back to Jey, I slipped an arm around his neck, pulling him flush against me. "You’re in a real good mood today," I murmured, my lips brushing the edge of his jaw before trailing lightly to his ear. "What’s got you so happy?"
“Because I got you, mama,” he murmured, his lips grazing the sensitive spot beneath my ear. “When you’re with me, it’s like everything’s right. Last night’s behind us, right?”
I nodded, even as my heart pounded. “Right.”
Jey’s grin widened before he kissed me again, this time deeper, his lips firm and insistent, as if he was staking a claim. The heat of the moment sent a rush through me, and I clung to him, my fingers running through his hair. When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against mine, his breath warm against my skin.
“Let’s go join the party," he said, his voice low and full of promise. "Show everyone how good we look together."
---
The festivities were in full swing. Music blasted from the speakers, and the air was filled with the sound of laughter and splashing water. Jey stayed close, his arm never straying far from my waist.
Natasha and Tonga were dancing near the grill, their movements loose and carefree. Nataya and Jimmy were sitting together at a table, sharing a plate of food and laughing like they had no cares in the world. Kiyah and Jacob were by the pool, their heads close as they talked, their laughter carrying over the noise.
I tried to focus on the party, to lose myself in the energy around me. But every so often, I felt Damian’s gaze slicing through the crowd, his eyes heavy and unyielding. It was like he was reading every move I made, dissecting every touch Jey placed on me. No matter how much I laughed, danced, or clung to Jey, Damian’s presence was a reminder that nothing about today was simple—and nothing about this life ever would be.
---
The park party was electric, the kind of energy that could only come from summer heat and a crowd that seemed to double by the minute. The bass from the speakers thumped so hard it vibrated in my chest, mixing with the smell of charcoal, chlorine, and the tangy sweetness of someone’s perfume. Everywhere I turned, there was movement: people dancing on the grass, kids cannonballing into the pool, and adults balancing plates stacked with food.
Jey had me perched on his lap by one of the folding tables, his arm snug around my waist as I fed him bites of cake. His lips brushed against the fork with every bite, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
“You’re enjoying this too much,” I teased, wiping a smudge of frosting from the corner of his lips.
“Why wouldn’t I?” he shot back, his voice low and full of that easy confidence. “You’re spoiling me. You’re not gonna stop now, are you?”
I rolled my eyes, but the warmth in his gaze made my cheeks heat. “Don’t get used to it,” I warned, though the playful lilt in my voice made it clear I didn’t mean it.
Jey chuckled, leaning in to kiss my temple. His grip tightened slightly; a subtle reminder of the claim he had on me. “I will. You treat me like a king, baby. And I treat you like a queen.”
---
As the afternoon stretched into early evening, the crowd seemed to thicken. Natasha and Sami had drifted toward the grill, where Sami’s booming laughter carried over the music. Nataya and Jimmy were sitting under a tree, their hands intertwined, looking like they were in their own world. Kiyah had switched gears, chatting up Solo now, her easy laugh and quick wit drawing him in.
I let my eyes wander, hoping to absorb the carefree atmosphere. But then I saw him.
Damian was sitting against the fence near the pool, a beer bottle dangling loosely in his hand. A woman was perched on his lap, her legs draped over his as she toyed with the gold chain around his neck. She was gorgeous, with dark curls framing her face and a smile that lit up the space around her. Damian’s hand rested on her thigh, his fingers tracing slow, deliberate patterns that made my stomach twist.
I tore my gaze away, the sight leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Why do you care? I scolded myself, but the question felt hollow. I tried to focus on Jey, who was cracking jokes with Jacob, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Damian.
---
Later, I stood and stretched. “I’m gonna put my stuff in your car,” I told Jey, brushing a kiss against his cheek. “Be right back.”
“You sure you don’t want me to come with you?” he asked, his tone teasing but laced with a protective edge.
I smiled. “I’ll be fine. Hold my spot.”
The parking lot was quieter, the distant hum of the party muted by the trees surrounding it. I opened the trunk of Jey’s car, placing my bag inside and closing it with a satisfying click.
“Leaving already?” a voice said behind me. I turned to see Damian standing by a car, his beer still in hand. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes lingered on mine for a moment too long.
“What do you want, Damian?” I asked, folding my arms over my chest.
“To talk,” he said simply, stepping closer. “You seemed… off earlier. I just want to make sure you’re okay, mami.”
“I’m fine,” I replied sharply. “You don’t need to worry about me. That’s Jey’s job.”
His jaw tightened, and he exhaled through his nose. “Is it bad that I care about you, Nyeya? More than you realize. More than I realized.”
His words threw me off balance, but I masked it with anger. “You have a funny way of showing it,” I snapped, glancing back toward the party. “Is that why you had some girl draped over you like a cheap coat? You worried about her, too?”
Damian’s lips quirked into a smirk. “Jealous?”
I scoffed. “Hardly.”
He stepped closer, his voice dropping. “You can lie to yourself all you want, but I see it, Nye. You’re not happy. Not with him. But I told you that, mami. How long before you admit it?”
My chest tightened. “You don’t know anything about me or what I feel.”
“I know more than you think,” he said, his gaze holding mine. “And I know you deserve better.”
The silence between us was heavy, charged with unspoken things I wasn’t ready to confront. Finally, I shook my head and turned back toward the party. “I don’t have time for this, Damian.”
“Not much time left,” he called after me. “Think about it before it gets worse.”
---
Back at the party, Jey pulled me into his lap again, his arm wrapping securely around me as the card game at the table kicked off. His laughter was loud and easy, his confidence radiating as he placed his bets. I tried to focus on him, on the way his hand rested on my thigh, but I couldn’t shake the tension lingering from my conversation with Damian.
“Yo, Damian!” Jey called out, nodding toward an empty seat. “Get over here, uce. We need one more.”
Damian hesitated for a fraction of a second before approaching, his face carefully neutral. He took the seat without a word, his eyes flicking to me briefly before settling on his cards. The tension at the table was palpable, though no one else seemed to notice.
By the end of the game, I’d had enough. Leaning into Jey, I murmured, “I’m ready to go.”
He glanced at me, his expression softening. “Yeah? Alright, baby. Let’s get outta here.”
He helped me up, throwing an arm over my shoulders as we headed toward the parking lot. I felt Damian’s eyes on me as we walked away, but I didn’t look back. The weight of his gaze followed me long after we left.
---
Back at Jey’s house, the atmosphere shifted into something quieter, softer. The hum of the air conditioner filled the silence, blending with the occasional rustle of leaves outside the window. Jey dropped his keys on the counter and turned to me, his expression uncharacteristically gentle.
“You straight?” he asked, stepping closer, his hands sliding around my waist. His touch was familiar, steady, but his eyes searched mine like he was trying to read the thoughts I wasn’t saying. “You know you mean everything to me, right?”
I nodded, letting out a small breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. “Yeah. I’m good. And I know, babe.”
His thumb traced slow circles on my hip, and he leaned in, his forehead resting lightly against mine. “Thanks for sticking with me tonight,” he said, his voice quieter now. “I know I can mess up, Nye. I just… I can’t picture this life without you in it.”
“You think?” I teased, brushing my fingers along the faint stubble on his jaw. “You make it sound like I’m doing you a favor just being here.” My voice softened, my gaze meeting his. “But you know it’s because I care, right? You just gotta let yourself believe you’re worth it.”
He smirked, his lips brushing against my temple. “You keep me steady,” he murmured, his voice raw in a way that made my chest ache. “It’s not just needing you, Nye. You’re the only one who gets me. The only one I trust to really see me, all of me.”
The weight of his words hung between us, and for once, there wasn’t any tension behind them. It felt honest, raw in a way that made my chest tighten. I leaned up, pressing my lips to his in a kiss that started slow but deepened quickly. His hands slid up my back, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us.
“I’m glad you stayed down with me,” he murmured, his lips grazing mine. “I don’t say it enough, but I love you, Nyeya. You’ve got my heart, baby.”
His words hit me harder than I expected, and for a moment, I just stared at him, my heart pounding in my chest. “I love you too, Jey,” I whispered, my voice trembling but sure. And as his arms tightened around me, I let myself believe it. For now, it was enough to drown out the noise of everything else.

tani speaks: so ironic that i was working on this before he got traded 🥹
“elijah zegras, watch out!” you yelled at your nephew.
however, the young boy followed after his father. so he continued running, his footsteps and laughter reverberating through the training facility.
you should’ve looked where you were going instead of cursing the young boy because not long after your shout, did you bump into someone.
well, you tripped over your nephew into the arms of his father's teammate.
"are you okay?" the body asked.
although your body felt perfectly content staying within the confines of the man's arms, you knew you had to pull away from him. and so reluctantly, you pushed yourself away and gave a curt nod.
"uncle jimmy!" elijah yelled.
jamie bent down and picked up the young ball of energy, spinning the four-year-old. no one had to question who the boys father was seeing as he was a splitting image of trevor.
trevor showed up in the hallway not long after. "i heard some ruckus and I just had to check it out," he teased, going over to tickle his son's belly.
once he had shown his affection to his son, trevor turned to you and gave you a short hug. you enveloped your brother-in-law and assured him that it was no problem.
"aunt y/n/n, will i see you tomorrow?" your nephew asked.
you shrugged and bent down to his level "if your dad's paying then I'll see you, same time and same place." you answered. elijah thought about it for a bit and then nodded his head.
elijah gave you one last hug before he spotted one of alex killorn's children.
"thanks again y/n," trevor thanked.
you waved him off. "i love the little guy, plus I sat him. in front of the tv and he was good for an hour before he needed me which is surprising considering he's your kid," you poked fun at trevor.
"ha ha. very funny,"
you smiled at trevor and checked the time before heading off to your apartment and waving bye to his quiet teammate.
“who is that?” jamie asked immediately.
“y/n.”
jamie rolled his eyes at trevor “yeah i gathered that. i didn’t know you had another sister,” he admitted:
trevor burst out in laughter. the idea that the two of you were related was abysmal. although, he is married to your sister.
“nah that’s val’s sister,” trevor answered.
trevor then went on to explain that you were in your senior year of college and elijah had managed to guilt trip you into spending more time with him.
the next time jamie saw you was at elijah's fourth birthday.
he's spent the whole week building up the courage to talk to you.
but his hard work was crushed when he saw you wrapped in the arms of another man. a man who was way taller than him.
"who's the giant?" mason asked when he, jamie and trevor were together.
"y/n's asshole boyfriend," trevor answered.
"are you just saying that or is he really an asshole?" jamie asked.
"he's a good kid but he's so focused on basketball that sometimes he leaves y/n disappointed. like he forgot her birthday because he was watching film," trevor explained.
the two canadians grimaced. that never flies.
and so, jamie watched you the whole party as you laughed with your boyfriend. meanwhile, his heart clenched at the feeling of losing his chance.
jamie didn't see you again unless you attended a game. the interaction was so rare, that when you came up to speak to him one night, he was shocked.
but alas, that was the last time jamie saw you.
until valentines day.
jamie was oulled away from his guitar lesson by a rapid knock on his door.
"y/n?" he questioned.
out of all things he could've thought of. jamie never dreamt of you showing up at his apartment door on valentines day.
his shock was smothered when he saw the mascara running down your face. immediately, he let you in without another word and directed you towards his couch.
he offered you a cup of water and let you regain your composure before asking you what was wrong.
"he broke up with me."
"what?"
"my boyfriend. he broke up with me because I was too clingy which I think is utter bullshit because I let him do whatever he wanted." you spat.
among all the thoughts on why someone would cheat on a person like you. jamie only voiced out one.
“how do you know where i live?” he asked.
you finally looked at the boy and gave him a sheepish shrug of your shoulders. “z always left your address incase of an emergency when i look after eli. i guess i just learnt it cause this was the first place i came to,”
jamie pulled you gently into his chest and rubbed your hair.
“i’ll go grab some clothes for you to change into. you can sleep in my room,” he whispered, letting you go.
that night your dreams were filled of the blue eyed canadian downstairs as his scent filled your nostrils.
and jamie.
well his dreams were always filled with you and life that could be.
