This has nothing to do with Cassandra (and I've never watched Sopranos), but these tags reminded me so much of all the posts you've been reblogging recently that I thought you should see them.
In fact, I initially checked to see if you'd blogged this post.
Tags are via @cinematicnomad:

Okay, so every time I open this app, I have hundreds of notifications. Not even kidding, I go and watch a YouTube video for 20 minutes, and when I come back, I have over 150 likes and reblogs, and oh wow, it's a lot for me. I've been popular in other fandoms before but this is new to me and ahh thank you.
Anyways, Teen Bruce Wayne as a Tumblr user au
His blog is a cringe, and as emo as you think a 14 year olds blog would be. He posts moodboards with vampire and cobweb aesthetics and tries so hard to uphold this cool, edgy persona. He gets into frequent arguments over Sherlock Holmes, both the original books and the BBC series, because of course, the nerd kid is into that stuff. His closest Tumblr buddy is the blog run by Edward Nygma, but neither of them realize who the other one is. They once had a falling out arguing over if Sherlock really could solve a particular mystery and if he has too much plot armor.
Bruce, grumbling and furiously typing: johnlockfan123 is the worst! He doesn't understand how intelligence does not mean competence!
Alfred, who's been watching Bruce and Ed argue all day over Sherlocks real ability to solve mysteries: I see... you are both very passionate.
Ed, from his own home, also typing madly: sherlockirl is so cocky! He acts like he's so much smarter than the world's greatest detective!
Alfred also had a Tumblr blog, but his looks like a bot, and he only uses it to check on Bruce.

I want so badly to tell the people I follow to not respond to those asks anymore, as blocking the profiles doesn't make those answered asks not show up in my feed. And sure, people have a choice to do what they want on their own blogs, but sometimes people with blogs that otherwise have rock solid specific posting topics will post these bloody asks anyway and not question them for even a second, even if they otherwise seem like reasonably intelligent people. Of course, nobody wants to tell anyone to not do that, as they'd be labeled as a bigot, even tho I've been online for 2+ decades and I can smell scams from a mile away. I've gotten asks from these things, and I post barely anything let alone ever interacted or posted anything related to this specific topic. Plus, just think about the logic of a poor person in need sending asks to fandom blogs about fanart, RPF, all kinds of things like that, at least I could understand people falling for it if they talk about these things regularly. But no, people don't think. I got a duplicated ask, two of the exact same one at the sane time. I curiously browsed the blog it came from, there was a random shitpost reblog in between like a dozen "plz help us uwu" reblogs. I'm sure that poor helpless mother just found that specific fandom shitpost very funny and wasn't an accidental reblog to the wrong blog from another user to a side blog at all, nobody would ever do that. Begging people here to get a little bit of critical thinking, I promise you're not a bigot for questioning something, you are being emotionally manipulated, I'm sorry. Not all scams are penis pills and preying on your grandma. You are also an easily manipulated target, don't fall for it and it will go away.
--
IDK if it will go away. I block like three of these bots per day.

STOP dropping trans people's deadnames into the world like they belong there! Do not tell me about your "friend Karla who used to be Carl," just fucking tell me you have a friend named Karla who is trans! That's all you need to say! Her old name is dead! That name is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! So let it rest!

"likes don't do anything" they do
"there's no algorithm" there is
"well nobody uses the for you tab" I do
"reblog all art and fics you see" there's no thought put into that. if this does work on people, then it's just pity engagement borne out of guilt rather than genuine interest, which is arguably worse than having none, because it's totally hollow.
#if I make art of my ocs who I'm personally fond of and spent a few days drawing just right and it gets 3 reblogs then it gets 3 reblogs#it's rational to feel a little disappointed sure. but I can't do anything about that. it's just luck#and I got Very lucky accumulating a few thousand followers on my main-turned-art-only blog off the back of when m.oomin was very popular#(tho realistically many of those users are probably inactive/passive followers now)#and having this number of people tuned into my posts Still only gets me a couple dozen notes on original stuff.#every 3 years or so something might blow up. like that bugs bunny comic lol. and I did Not expect it to#especially bc it happened about a year after I shared it as well.#it can happen any time. so don't feel discouraged when your art doesn't get noticed right away#the one advantage this website has is that there's far less of a fomo culture compared to other socials where trends come and go in a week#and people will still interact with older posts. especially bc it's easier to find what you want through the tagging system. sort of.#there's really no way to predict this or aim for large engagement! oh unless you're specifically catering to the current hot topic#like d.unmeshi is wiiiildly popular right now. I've seen comics get 5-digit notes in under 48 hours 'cause more eyes are on it.#but if it's not something you personally like and you're only creating things for the attention then you're gonna be unhappy#and people will inevitably move on.#I'd much rather swing my art back around every few months or so until it finds someone it resonates with#than make people who were never planning to engage with it feel bad for no reason

i rmr when all the initial meta around endgame was coming out people were talking about steve being depressed and whatnot and it's like well yeah but he's BEEN depressed, like he woke up alone in this century and he kept going, now i can understand it being worse this time after finding a family and getting bucky back and losing them all except of course that's not why endgame steve was on about so like......the people writing meta were trying to connect these things that of course weren't really there on screen because that simply wasn't our steve
but i think it really could've been SO interesting to see this is the thing that finally makes steve stay down like he's lost so much and he just CAN'T keep fighting like i get some people think that's what they were going for but considering the ending......it's really not. and so i'm just thinking about a version after iw, maybe he gets some of the thor treatment except not turning his depression into a dumb fatphobic joke lol and maybe nat and others are trying to get through to him and it just doesn't work and then we get some flashbacks (which you could have done for all the original avengers actually which would be particularly important for bruce and nat and clint who did not have their own trilogies) including his mom telling him "you always stand up" and THAT being the thing to finally get him moving like it would've been such a perfect way to finally show sarah rogers some respect and ACTUALLY show steve really struggling instead of whatever they tried to do with him in that movie
#steve rogers#mcu#anti endgame#why am i still rewriting this movie five years later#really though i think i rmr just trying to work through it all#and a lot of the meta i was reblogging initially still wasn't really accurate to endgame or the rest of the mcu#like they were still making steggy more important than it canonically was while trying to explain why it was a bad ending#and it's kind of like you can say steve would respect that peggy had a life and wouldn't interfere with it but that's about it like#going on about how he DID love her so much and just wouldn't be selfish enough to do those things#or that she was soooo important to his moral compass (hence why so many fic writers had her telling him to go back to bucky lol insanity)#are just not accurate lmao i do think much as she may be rightfully disliked#while canonically he did not LOVE her he did respect her even if we think that's annoying bc she's an asshole to him in catfa#but yeah no he had a moral compass before her i understand what people were going for with the compass being symbolic but like....#any time she said anything did he listen? except for maybe when she told him he was meant for more? it really doesn't seem like it#nor did he need it! jesus! the whole point of catfa is he was chosen for a REASON he was already a good man#he did not need peggy 'sure i'll let nazis into shield' carter to teach him shit#but yeah it was bc i followed one stucky blog at the time who was reblogging a lot of good shit but a lot of that nonsensical shit too#and i was just reblogging it all bc everything sounded better than endgame#and i really did start seeing more of the discussions around peggy where her culpability in catws hadn't even occurred to me#bc i was so in fic from the beginning of joining fandom that not only was their relationship made as impt as stucky#it was also made out like what happened to shield was hurting her legacy and it's like...but she had to have at least SOME responsibility#and yeah eventually it's like okay no it's not just that steve wouldn't Do That it's also that they would've been a terrible couple#and not only would he not be so selfish but he wouldn't give up everything for HER lmao but he would've for bucky as was shown over and ove

we got ourselves a mains call, lads!
liking this post tells me that you would like to be mains, prioritizing interactions with each other and implying a level of comfortability between us -- basically, neither of us need to be nervous about sending memes, asking to ship, and other such things! not that any of my mutuals need to worry about any of this, but mains especially so. if you are currently listed as a main/affiliate on my pinned, you don't need to like this post! you're stuck with me already <3
in case you're worried about this, you do not have to speak to me regularly to be a main! i'm not always the best with messages anyway :' ) i only ask that we've written together before and kinda have an idea of our muses' dynamic ( doesn't need to be fully developed!! ). if you feel a connection and want it to grow, then i'm all for that!

Gonna go ahead and ask you #58 on your Spotify wrapped while I'm thinking about it
#58 on my top songs is mirrorball by taylor swift! this is definitely one of my fav songs from her, if not The Favorite; a vivid music video plays out in my head every time i listen to it. here's my favorite part from it, which can definitely lend itself to particular dreamling scenarios... like 1989.
And they called off the circus, burned the disco down When they sent home the horses and the rodeo clowns I'm still on that tightrope I'm still trying everything to get you laughing at me I'm still a believer but I don't know why I've never been a natural, all I do is try, try, try I'm still on that trapeze I'm still trying everything to keep you looking at me
---
When his stranger didn't show up in 1989, Hob spent the whole day waiting for him. The whole night, too. He heard the last call but stayed long after, until the bartender—Ian was his name, Hob learned at one point—had to kick him out so they could lock up. To Ian's credit, he did it with his most apologetic face.
"Sorry, Hob," Ian said as he locked up the front door of the tavern. "Feel free to come back 'round tomorrow. Promise the place'll still be here by then."
Hob, who was hovering listlessly beside him, gave him a smile. "You'll regret you said that."
Ian laughed. "I'll never regret having more regulars. God knows we need it."
Hob frowned. Right. He nearly forgot about that.
"Need a lift?" Ian offered, fishing out a different set of keys from inside his pockets. "You've drunk quite a lot."
"I'm fine, I just need to—" Hob took a deep breath, "—I need to walk it off."
Ian narrowed his eyes. "Sure? I better not read about you in the papers tomorrow."
Hob snorted. "Trust me, you won't."
With that, Hob stood in front of the tavern and watched Ian drive off, until the old man rounded a corner and disappeared.
Now that he was alone, Hob slumped down on the damp ground and leaned against the front door. They've probably replaced this door more times than he could count, along with the rest of the tavern. Century after century, Hob saw less and less of what used to be here 600 years ago: the chairs, the tables, the mugs, the godawful drinks. The closest thing to permanence this tavern had was its name, and, up until tonight, his stranger. And soon, it wouldn't even have itself.
Hob reached into his coat pocket and took out his lighter and a carton of cigarettes. As he watched London's everchanging skyline glitter above the Thames, he lit a cigarette, the orange of it glowing in the dark. He sat there, waiting, waiting, waiting. He was good at that, at waiting. All you had to have for waiting was time, and Hob had it in abundance. So he waited until the sun rose, until the streets came alive with cars and people, until Ian came back to open up.
"Oi, what happened to walking it off?!" Ian exclaimed, standing over Hob, shielding him from the noon sun. "Bloody hell. C'mon now. Up you go."
Hob let himself be corralled into the tavern's small office and be sat at the small couch that was probably meant for interviews and terminations. He drank the water and aspirin placed in front of him, and he wore the spare shirt lent to him, but he left Ian's questions unanswered.
"Y'know," Hob started as soon as Ian came back in from the bar, "I reckon I could do a good job running a tavern."
"You should be asleep," Ian said accusatorily.
Maybe he should've been. But instead, Hob was sitting upright, wide awake. "I've been in countless taverns, just like this," he continued, "and I reckon I could make a great one. It would be so great that people from all over the world would come to eat and drink there, and say, 'Hey look, it's Hob's tavern, the greatest one around!' And d'you know what the best part about it would be?"
Ian sighed and leaned on his desk. "What?"
"It would be so great that they'd never close it down. They wouldn't be able to. Everyone would rally around it, even the council. And it'd be there for, for centuries. No, millennia. No, forever."
Ian shook his head, smiling. "A beautiful dream."
"A dream?" Hob scrunched his eyebrows. "You don't believe me?"
"Hob, this tavern has been here for centuries. That's a pretty good run, I'd say. Before that, it might've been something else, like a house, or a barn, or something. And before that, it was probably an empty plot of land, or maybe it was full of trees. Maybe bloody dinosaurs lived and died here. Or maybe it was underwater, I dunno. But I'm getting away from the point," Ian said, scratching his scraggly beard. "The point is: things change. That's life."
Suddenly, Hob was reminded of that night a hundred years ago, how his stranger detested the implication that he changed, that he grew to be lonely, lonely enough to seek out companionship. Hob's companionship. Obviously he detested the implication enough to not show up yesterday. But maybe, just maybe, his stranger will show up again today or the next day, just to prove a point, just to say he didn't need him to be his friend, and to say goodbye for the last time. Surely his stranger's not cruel enough to not show up at all, right?
"I, I know, but I can't let this place change, at least not yet," Hob said. His desperation must've plain on his face from the way Ian smiled sadly at him.
"And why's that?"
"My friend and I," Hob paused, thinking about what to say, "this place is important to us."
"You can always find another place."
"He won't," Hob said, voice breaking, "he won't be able to find me."
"How sure are you that he won't?"
Hob put his head into his hands. "I'm sure."
"You don't have his number?"
Hob shook his head.
Ian sighed. "Well, like I said last night, you'll need a lot of money to—"
"I have the money," Hob blurted out.
"What's that?"
"I," Hob repeated, raising his head in realization, "I have the money."
Ian only looked at him.
"I can, I can keep this place alive until he comes back."
Ian regarded him wordlessly for a few more seconds, then said, "I appreciate the thought, I do, but I reckon you can just establish a new one and it'll be less expensive. You can always, I dunno, put up some signs. 'This way to the new tavern' or something. Then when your friend comes around, they'll just read your sign and go to the new tavern."
Hob stared at Ian, mouth hanging open. Then he laughed, feeling a sleep-deprived lightness in his chest. He stood up and held Ian by his shoulders, still smiling. "Ian, you're a genius."
Ian chuckled heartily. "I try."
"And you're a hired genius."
"Pardon?"
"I'll need a bartender for the new tavern," Hob said, grinning.
Ian scoffed in disbelief, but he was smiling. "And what'll you name it?"
Hob thought for a second, then settled on: "The New Tavern."
Ian chortled. "You need sleep. Dearly."

Listen i just want to preface this by saying I don't even personally hate Tommy, but that's not really the point i want to make so here goes nothing.
The way a lot of people act as if it's impossible to dislike him because the characters have moved on so so should we, right? and that's the thing right here, as poc we're always being told to move on. We can't express our feelings, we can't hold grudges, we can't complain about issues without making it something more than it is, we always have to just... move on.
I know people are going to say it's just a show, it's not that serious, but the issues it touches on and the way fandom speaks on those issues are.
I've seen a lot of comparisons between Tommy and other mains, how each of them are flawed and have screwed up one way or another, and you're right, but it's still unfair to compare him to them. We've seen each of the main characters experience guilt, or be ashamed of their action, we've seen them apologise, put in the work to actually grow, and they have. There's not enough time in an episode for us to see that for side characters. In this case, Tommy didn't do any of the above and that's normal, he was a plot device to show some very real societal issues, and especially what people of colour/women might go through in the workplace, and once he served his purpose he didn't get much more beyond a few scenes where it seemed like everything was fine between him and chim/hen. It would be more appropriate to compare him to the buckley parents, (who appeared in more or less the same amount of episodes) like if people suddendly started saying no one is allowed to hate them because they got their redemption, their kids more or less forgave them, they more or less tried to be better parents. And yet it's still not enough for a lot of people, because how they treated their children, the shit they've said to them, hits a little too close to home for a lot of people and so no matter what the show says or does, they'll still be mostly hated by the audience, and that's more than okay. But if margaret buckley is your favourite character than by all means be my guest. And listen, i love this show, it's all about hope, and it means everyone gets a redemption arc, as short as it is (sometimes even just a sentence lol), but we won't always be satisfied with these arcs, especially if they don't feel proportional to the hurt the characters may have caused to our mains, so we'll all have different reactions to them.
I swear liking a morally ambiguous/grey character says absolutely nothing about you, but making excuses for them, antagonising people who might dislike them (for good reasons) or acting like suddenly triggers don't exist for people, does say something about you. One of my favourite characters is literally the worst person ever, an actual bigot, but i won't ever write essays about why people are not allowed to dislike him actually because he's my babygirl.. i very much understand why people would.
All of this to say, everyone will have different opinions about Tommy. Some might love him, some will be completely neutral or at worst slightly uncomfortable/bothered by him, and some will straight up hate him, and all of these are fine. Live and let live, love whoever you want to love, and hate whoever you want to hate, but please stop trying to dictate how others should feel, i'm begging. And this really does go both ways.
