Hey, I kinda wanted your opinion on Fundy and Tubbo (c! for all of this) but feel free to ignore this if it’s too rambly/ you have no opinion.

Like they have been working side by side on so many things. In L’manburg, in Manburg, as Dreamon hunters, in New L’manburg, the Butcher’s Army and now in Las Nevadas.

And they both kind of have a weird relationship to authority. 3 of the more (if not the most) charismatic people on the server and people who hold/held a lot of authority, Wilbur, Schlatt and Quackity, all looked at Fundy and Tubbo and went “Hm, I think you’re coming with me.” BUT at the same time that relationship is very different. Fundy is always and desperately trying to please authority figures, often being ignored/ overlooked or used despite his attempts. While Tubbo is constantly given responsibility and held to a high standard by authority, and then is often harshly reprimanded when he fails to meet those standards.

Like I don't know where I'm going with this but I find it interesting and I love your tubbo takes /analysis so I wanted to know if you had any thoughts? <3

Okay I love Tubbo and Fundy as a duo because it isnt one of the first duos you would think of at all, but when you actually look into it, they've been woth each other through almost everything! They just havent necessarily been there for each other through everything. And I also feel like theyve got a lot of the same sentiments about being left behind and about what L'Manberg means to them, it's just that Fundy is more Vocal about it than Tubbo is?

Obviously theyve got history, because I feel like pretty much every original member of L'Manberg will always have a soft spot for the others, y'know? And the DREAMON HUNTERS ARCCC my beloved!!! Like i know it wasnt that serious but if you actually sit and think about the trust you'd have to put in someone to work with them like that... The friendship that Tubbo and Fundy and Sapnap had to have formed during all of that! The way that it was a distraction from Schlatt for both Fundy and Tubbo, who were both spies but didn't know the other was a spy...

Fundy and Tubbo really did seem to get closer during New L'Manberg, though, which i Love for them. Theyd work on things together and at one point Tubbo was half serious about adopting Fundy himself, which is so sweet if you think about the version of canon where Fundy just ages fast and Tubbo has actually known him since he was a little guy! (It's doubly sweet if you take this as Tubbo already thinking about Fatherhood in this era, the same era he met Ranboo, and then looking at his little family a few months later :') )

They were both going through a lot in New Lmanberg, and I dont think that Fundy's betrayal of Lmanberg was personal to Tubbo at all, really. (Thats a funny pattern on the server: It's very rare for someone to hate Tubbo specifically, or to genuinely want to hurt him. Niki and Jack trying not to hurt Tubbo when planning their assassination attempt on Tommy is another example.) But the point is that I really dont feel like Fundy meant to hurt Tubbo at all, he was just fed up and frustrated and Tubbo happened to be a bit of collateral damage.

As the current lore stands it would be really cool to see them reconcile, especially so because Ranboo was also close with Fundy! He could come around their mansion and bring Yogurt over to play with Michael and maybe Tommy and Wilbur could swing by and Jack and Niki would linger around outside until they were invited in and Eret would come over and knock on the door and ok well im getting away from the point a bit but you get what I mean!

Tubbo and Fundy just have this like mutual respect for each other and they really do seem to care a lot, it's just that circumstances drive them apart sometimes. Maybe they can bond in Las Nevadas? That would be especially cool since Fundy has been lonely recently! Like it would probably be nice for both of them to get an outsider-ish perspective on the things theyve been going through. Idk they're both lonely and lost and I think they should be friends 😭
