When you found out you were pregnant, it was obvious. No period. Your cravings became intense. You threw up every fucking morning. Simon and you were excited that you were pregnant, people encouraging you that the morning sickness would pass. Instead. It came harder and longer. You cramped all the time, you bled once. Thinking you lost the baby when in fact you didn’t. Doctor reassured that it was normal in some women.

However, both of you didn’t expect the pregnancy to get harder than what people said it would have been. Your mom even said that what you are going through isn’t what she did. You are through your third trimester and nothing changed. Eventually your midwife came to put fluids in you since you couldn’t hold anything in. Throwing up was your new aesthetic. It got harder for you to work so you had to quit your job and stay home. Best friends with your toilet, you slept there day and night until your body grew bigger.

Simon was ordered from Price to stay home until the baby arrived and settled. Price heard from Simon about how the pregnancy has been not the best. You been up all night not being able to sleep from being too hot to throwing up to not being comfortable. Which caused Simon not to sleep, due to being worried about you. He would hold your hair up if you were too tired to even notice it was falling inside the toilet. Simon would wash your hair as you cried. Shushing you to keep you from having a panic attack.

You hated all of what was happening to you where you couldn’t enjoy being pregnant. Counting the days not to see your kid but to have her out. It was like you were hating the fact of everything no that was happening. Feeling like a curse then a miracle. Simon was the opposite even though he was heartbroken to see his love going through only hardship, the thought of having a mini both of you made him warm inside. Bringing it up once had you excited until you would hurl once more.

Simon would bend over backwards for anything you needed. Needed a bath Done. Needed a craving. Done and done again. Needed to be carried to the bed. Done. Needed a belly lift. Done. Anything was possible for Simon if it was for you. Nothing would stop him from helping you.

Was it perfect? Not always. Even when you both were tired and exhausted, you would fight, he would always be right by you. No matter what the fight was about, lately things that were ridiculous.

You both finished a fight and made up as he pet your damp hair, rubbing his other hand on your swollen belly. You were laying on his chest in bed, having your belly rest on the comfort of the mattress.

Sweat consumed you, your body working overboard on making your child and keeping you from not dying from everything else. It was silent before you sobbed. You were done, nothing for you. Your feet hurt. You felt like a whale. And your husband hated you. You’ve been only a bitch since you got pregnant and you were done.

You kept repeating in your head that he truly didn’t want to be here that you were just an excuse of a wife. That he never wanted to help you. That he wished you were gone. All because he didn’t get you your pebble ice. Simon had to leave the house for a while and what did he bring back? The stupid fucking ice. You called him a coward for leaving and not say anything about you said just for him to gift you?

Simon’s heart broke when your son burst out, your body shaking. Concern written on his face as he made your face turn to him. “Love what’s wrong?”

You cried harder as you laid your face in his shirt. “I want her out. And I feel terrible that I don’t want to do this anymore. That I have been a bitch. That I can’t stop throwing up. That this whole pregnancy hasn’t been what people have been saying.” He listened to you rubbing your back in soothing patterns. “I’ve been a terrible wife. I can’t believe I have been awful to you. You only been kind and generous and loving.”

Simon shook his head. “I could never do what you are doin’ dove,” He said quickly as he rubbed your shoulders. “This pregnancy is not been the best for ya.”

You sobbed harder as you clenched your hands into his shirt. Simon started to hush you quietly and soothingly. “You don’t deserve me.”

Simon froze from the comment, he used to say that to you at the beginning of your relationship. Telling you that he is a monster and that he would plague you with his darkness. That you were the angel and he was a demon, instead you showed him that he was the opposite. He was just lost in a broken world of his. Simon knew you were not like this. Not confident. Angry. Negative. No, you were the opposite of all of it.

Simon scooted so he would have you sit up against the frame. “Don’t you say that.” He said sternly.

You scoffed. “It’s true, I called you mean things. I said mean nasty things that are not true. Just over ice? Like how…”

“Stop,” He said stopping you dead in your tracks. “I know you didn’t mean it. Never have you showed me that. Baby,” He watched as your lips trembled, as your skin paled. “I know you love me, you are in pain just like I was. Let me help you bring yourself back as you make our child. You’re almost there love.”

You inhaled deeply as you looked away. “I’m sorry,” You turned to him and placed your hand on his cheek. “I love you Simon.”

Simon smiled and grabbed your hand kissing your knuckles. “I love you too. This is through sickness and health yeah? We promised each other that. So that is what gonna happen.”

You laid back down on him, your heart swelled with joy. You didn’t know how you got such an amazing husband. But all you knew is that he was your soulmate and you were his.

Another month went by and the baby was in distress from your body. She would be a month and half early which could lead into problems. However since your was fighting off too many things it wanted the baby to come out. You laid in the hospital bed as they induced you to push your baby girl out. You cried as Simon held his hand on yours and a cloth against your forehead.

“You got this mama,” The gynecologist announced looking up at you. “She is almost there!”

You looked at Simon concern written on your face and his. “It’s al’ight mamas. ‘M right here.” He whispered soothing you by brushing your damp strands back.

With a couple last pushes you heard a wail. Immediately relief went through your body as you laid all the way down into the bed. You panted as nurses and the doctor tended to the baby. Simon watched back and forth between you and the baby. “Go-Go see her.” You whispered gulping air.

You watched as he gave you a concerned look then nodded. You watched as he looked over the shoulders and smiled. Your heart fluttering. One of the nurses came to look over you. She said something but you couldn’t hear her. You felt nauseous and weak, lightheadedness coming in full swing.

The nurse called out as you felt your eyes roll. After that it was dark, you felt like actual sleep took hold. When you woke up, you were in a different room in the hospital, mouth was dry. When you looked over you saw Simon asleep with your baby girl against his bare chest.

You smiled. “They have been so cute,” You turned your head to see the doctor walking in. “How are you feeling?”

You hummed and coughed a bit. “Thirsty.”

“I bet. You had a blood clot form after giving birth to your baby girl. It can be common and could cause from your body being on overdrive to fix you. You are on blood thinners so take it easy. You have a healthy baby girl, she might be a little smaller than usual but that is expected from a early birth,” she explained looking over your vitals. “Your husband knows what to do. Just get to know your baby and rest.”

That you did, Simon once again by both you and both of your baby girl. Never have you felt so much relief and love. You smiled as Simon changed her diaper humming softly to her. In sickness and health. Is all you thought of as he gave you a kiss handing you your baby girl.

to last anon-- my journey is perhaps different from others but for me when i started T i also felt like it was the most important, life or death thing, but after spending time on T i found that even if the results werent as Manly as i was hoping for originally, i suddenly found myself in love with the simple fact that i had changed and my body had changed in a way that was on MY terms, even if it wasnt """perfectly passing"". since then ive found that not having T or having to lower my dosage was no longer painful or frightening.. im not sure how else to explain it other than At First, it felt like the testosterone was trying to fight Against the woman that Was my body, to sort of Transform it completely into this Man, but one day i just suddenly realized "oh. im not fighting anymore. and im actually pretty happy" and even tho i wasnt Perfectly masc by a long shot there was suddenly.. peace. i fell in love with my patchy body hair and my funny voice and my weird dick and then to my own suprise i found myself falling in love with the things i used to hate and wanted to get rid of. i suddenly loved my boobs (i wanted top surgery for YEARS before t) i loved my eyelashes, i loved the way my body looked in womens clothes, and i still loved being a man. im still a man and happier with that than ive ever been, but im more feminine now than i really ever have been! and its because suddenly being a man and having this mans body was something that belonged to ME, not to anyone else. this happiness and this body were on MY terms!!! so anon, i hope that you can try hormones and you get to explore the changes that bring you joy and that you find even more joy in the things you never expected before. but if you dont get hrt? youre still one of us always. i hope you will still find the love in your heart for yourself and the man you are regardless. peace and love and trangenderism ❤️

just want to add on that i relate heavily to your part about "falling in love with the things i used to hate and wanted to get rid of" because my chest was one of my biggest source of grief pre-T and could not imagine a life for myself without top surgery, and even injured myself from binding too much. but something about being on hrt and finally seeing and experiencing myself with more masc features (and living my life as a guy, in my own way) gradually flipped a switch in my brain and i started to love my boobs. and then when i stopped T i was worried and scared i would lose that love, but now i actually love them more than ever (if my art wasnt indication enough hehe). there's so many ways to be trans, and be a man, and i'm so grateful i gave myself the patience and space to explore that, and that i can continue to explore and experience joy with it. peace and love and transgenderism forever 💙

So the situation has gotten worse. I went out in a shopping trip with my nana and we went to Barnes and noble. I got the sun and the star because I had been wanting it for hears and figured it'd be easy enough to hide. My nana, my lovely love to nana, just had to yap. She told my mom I got 2 books ,(other one was sunrise on the reaping) and I knew I was dead. When I get back home, !y mom all but demands to see my books. She then yells at me, saying "I thou th t I told you to cut this out!" And then she took my book away. I was pissed off, so I yelled back 'give me back my book! Its mime and I paid for I with my own money!' I had not meant to yell at her. It wss a complete mistake. She then said to never talk like that to her again. That was on monday. She has barely spoken to me this week, and when she does its cold and commanding. She's treating neither of !y siblings nor my dad like this, only me.

She had also been fat shaming me the day before. I had asked her if I could borrow some jeans from her (since mine were all dirty or didn't fit me) she asked why and I said the parenthisis thing. When she asked why again, I said "wdym??" She then said that maybe my stuff doesn't fit me because I never leave my room and get exercise

So yeah. She also took away the shitty blue Amazon tablet thjng, but I just got it back

i’m a 17 yr old girl and when I was younger I was in love with my long hair and refused to even cut it, but during covid I got bored and cut it up to my chin and I rlly liked it like that. Recently i’ve been growing it out again to below shoulders cause I wanted to be able to style it again (funny cause I suck at styling hair I can barely do plaits) and I do like it this length. Hi! I know nothing about buzzcuts so I don't know the answer to a lot of your questions, but I think you should weigh the options. If you but it and you hate it, can you afford a wig or extensions? Do you have any important events in the next year or so (family wedding, for example) where a picture of you would be saved forever?

Honestly, you're young so I don't think it's a horrible idea. Hair grows back. But I'd just think through what to do if you don't like it. OH also could you use some of those filters that show what you might look like? That way you kind of know?

It's literally so random, but I need to vent somewhere. I'm doing tech for The Little Mermaid right now, and it was just opening night, but this one girl on my side of the stage keeps causing minor problems. Like during dress she almost missed cues because she wouldn't stop texting someone the whole entire show and then also proceeded to say how much she didn't like my friend who is also on stage crew right next to him. Which whatever you don't have to like everyone but like right next to him? And to his friend? Today, during opening, she complained about how upset she was and that she was locked out of her phone because she couldn't text during the show and later proceeded to knock stuff off a shelf for Ariel's gritti because she wasnt paying attention to cues our SM was giving. Idk it's all so minor and not a big deal, but at the same time, this has happened with other people and it has almost ruined things completely. Good news, though, opening night was amazing save for a few small things🥳. I just wish certain people would take tech more seriously when they volunteer for it.

Did Shyam love Khushi?

No. And it's not because Arnav is her one true love. Even if Arnav never existed, Shyam never loved her.

Shyam showed the classic signs of a stalker and manipulater. He was obsessed with Khushi, wanted to possess her and was deluded into thinking he loved her and she loved him back.

TW: This post talks about molestation.

- Constantly appearing everywhere and unnanounced. He meets her twice at the temple Khushi is in (be it in Lucknow or Delhi), in the vegetable stalls nearby her aunt's place, appears as a PG.

- Has her details beforehand - Khushi even gets taken aback when Shyam calls her the first time because she hadn't actively given it to him. He had done what he had slyly said - investigated and taken her number from her bio data for the job application.

- Puts himself in the position of trust - he constantly puts himself in the position of trust in the family. As a savior of Khushi's honor, literal savior of her Babuji, giving Khushi a job, helping Buaji with her legal issues and going an extra mile for a family he just met. He also constantly plays to Buaji's eyes as a good suitor for Khushi.

- Khushi is constantly uncomfortable by his familiarity - Khushi is the person who never likes to misjudge other people or make others uncomfortable even at the cost of her comfort. But it is evident throughout the show that she gets perturbed when Shyam expresses affection. When he says you're beautiful, I'm missing you a lot, I wish I could do more for you, or just even stares at her - Khushi gives the polite cough but shudders away.

- Manipulates situations to his benefit - He incapacitates her father (the only one who questioned Shyam and was wary of it), presents himself as a bachelor in front of nosy neighbors, writes his and Khushi's name in the wall and yells so everyone can see it, switches Shashi's medicines so his deteriorating health can be blamed on Khushi not marrying him and so on.

- Dangerous liar - from saying that he's in a terrible marriage with Anjali to lying about his marital status, changing his birth date and creating stories of 'Rani Saheba' whenever possible, or simply lying that Shashi had a cardiac arrest when he was trying to murder him.

- Molester - Shyam continuously molests Khushi. Forcibly hugging her on the terrace, gripping her against her wishes, appearing before her in just a towel, insinuating physical/sexual violence and so on.

- Delusional - Shyam never thinks Khushi is not in love with him. He keeps on thinking she's miffed that he's married, otherwise he's convinced she's besotted with him. He does not realise Khushi not only does not like him, but hates him and loves Arnav until she spits it on his face while saving Arnav.

He's also motivated to hurt Arnav and remove him from the picture because that's where Khushi's attentions are (he has other reasons to hurt Arnav as well).

He would've done this to any woman who caught his eye. In this case his victim was unfortunately Khushi.

Oh I absolutely believe he married Anjali for wealth. He groomed Anjali in a way for her to be completely devoted to him and is the perfect example of too good to be true. From sharing bank accounts to having Arnav's blind trust - Shyam was definitely a part of the Raizada family for a reason.

I always found it strange that Shyam, as a lawyer, was always absent. Like Shyam not attending events, leaving Anjali alone, going on long trips was way common before he met Khushi. It's one thing not many people comment on but no one is surprised when Shyam is out of town (not knowing he devotes his time in Lucknow for Khushi or later lives in her house). Shyam coming home is an event for the Raizada's, literally.

In fact Anjali is surprised ever since Shyam sticks around more in the house.

And everyone speaks about Shyam being too busy to be home as if he's always been like this - and that preludes Shyam having met Khushi.

ok short answer is no i feel so blessed & grateful to be a lesbian. but long answer for if u r genuinely curious bc i did feel that way for a long time when i was younger & i can tell u why i don’t feel like that anymore. so like when i was 16-17 (& if u were following me in 2017 in particular & have an insanely good memory u may remember somehow) but i used to make posts abt it too but at the time i was calling myself bi & i would say that like oh i’m not attracted to men rn but i will be one day bc at the time i hated the idea of being gay & ppl knowing i was attracted to girls so i was like really obsessed w the idea that i would one day be magically attracted to men so no one would ever have to know abt that. & like i did the standard like picking out boys in my classes to be like i should have a crush on him sort of thing and i had since i was very little like copied my friends whenever they said they liked a boy i would too kind of thing. but like by the time i was 13 i knew i was gay & for a lot of reasons i really didn’t want to be so i was just in denial abt it after and doing that stuff to convince myself i wasnt. & it wasn’t until i was 18 that i was like i can’t keep lying to myself abt this & even then i was still like this is so unfair i don’t want to be gay etc. it was more so when i really started centering my life around women & focusing on feminism that i was like actually it is a blessing to not have to center my life around any man esp given the experiences that a lot of my female family members had w men and that i had had w my dad. like when i had been considering my life thru a heteronormative lens the idea of getting married was miserable to me & i was refusing to learn how to cook & stuff bc i didn’t want to be a housewife so much. and i know that is tied to my lesbianism but realizing that i could be happy & fulfilled w/o a man and that i could love & be loved by other women instead like fully accepting the fact that i was a lesbian & for the first time starting to not feel ashamed abt it i was like actually this is great for me. growing up going to catholic school & my family being conservative & stuff i never even considered any other options for myself other than like growing up & marrying a man & p much having that option taken from me was actually so freeing bc i felt very trapped by it. and i began to feel so much more comfortable in myself once i stopped feeling the need to like present myself for men or think abt what they thought of me. so genuinely i wouldn’t give up being a lesbian for anything i would never ever choose to be straight. i love being a lesbian & i fully believe my life is way better bc of it. like i could die alone etc & i would still be glad i was born a lesbian idc. & tbh wish i could go back 10 yrs ago to when i was crying abt it & repressed it & tell myself how happy i am abt it now…….so like yeah long answer is i used to but i never will again ❤️

for context: so recently there was a lot of memes about sweater weather by @lumosinlove and around the same time i read the 3rd part of the sw chats by @shinymooncolor where olli is stress eating moomin cookies. those two combined reminded me of the one anne hathaway meme with the cupcakes so here’s olli realizing the cookies are gone💔

this was just a quick thing but the idea didn’t leave my head until i drew it🤷‍♀️
