Ok, female version of this post, then. Again, it won't be pretty, Reader being a woman instead of a man won't make most of these guys act much different, since the reaction was more focused on Reader's humanity than the gender/sex. But they would feel it very differently, considering that this guys would be sexist AF (reminder that being sexist is more than hitting women).

Uppermoons reaction of falling in love with Human Female Reader

You have a lot of power over him, he protects you, takes care of you, obeys you when you tell him something, but he stays away most of the time.

He looks at you, yearning, to the point it's obssesive. You never leave his head.

Daki, because she has been also looking, knows if you do something, threats and destroys your things, protective over Gyutaro.

"Daki, ne... cut it off." "BUT ONII-CHAN!"

Make a move yourself, or this will continue until you die, since Gyutaro will also protect you from his sister, but won't be able to stop her completely. She hates you.

He won't force you to anything, respect you, understand you have it hard as a woman without him, so he won't hold it against you id you want to leave. Or at least he will try not to.

Gyokko:

Gyokko is fast to figure put what he wants you to do, that he wants you to stay, even if it takes a bit more time to figure out how he feels about you.

You fill his taste, there is no mistake, and his tastes are the best. So he makes sure to praise you almost as much as his ability to choose.

He cowers away at the slightlest chance of falling in love.

He had several wives in his life as human, he knows how to treat them, or at least he should know, feeling pressured.

He is aware of his flaws, and id terrified with the idea you will leave him for it, even if he is not around most of the time, coming back and forward, comes to cry and then leaves.

Are you food? Are you beloved? Are you useless? Are you beautiful? Are you conforting? Are you nice? Are you about to die because of him? Are you going to reject him?

He will stab you in your sleep, or in an argument, he killed wives during those before. All with a knife instead of his abilities as a demon.

He didn't have to be a demon to kill women and children, and he is really sorry, but you had to die for his sake.

Sekido:

Ok, you have three seconds before shit explodes, so if you run you might save yourself.

3... 2... 1... "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT?!" There it is, that is all it took him.

A few days he kept think of you and he knew... you fucked up. You must scape until he calms down.

The fact that a fragile human, a defenceless woman, can make his heart beat faster and his face blush is simoly embarrasing. He hates it, it makes him angry, it makes him feel vulnerable.

The other clones are your best bet to get it this far, go for Karaku, he will keep you alive only for the sake of teasing Sekido.

Both of you know you will die, the more the likes you, the worse he will feel, and he will take it out of you.

You are just a human, you won't be able to survive him unless you become a demon, but he will not accept your refusal. He won't even tell you.

The relationship becomes stable in your new form, he just bites your neck and opens his wrist with his nails to transform you.

"Don't you dare trying to get away from me, woman."

Karaku:

"Gonna rock your body all night, it's lust at first sight" - probably Karaku if he knew Chris Crocker.

That is your chance for survival, and you take it, making him chose lust over gluttony.

He does threat of getting rid of you, but he makes sure to get you money, besides the flirting and gifts, considering he is aware he basically ruined your chance of a married life. He teases you about it when he feels cruel.

He makes sure to pleasure you, even if you don't want to, you don't get to make that choice.

It does take him more years than if you were a man to realize this is not normal lust, but that he is romantically attected to you.

He decides to transform you into a demon, doesn't warn or ask, when he realizes it.

He does it during sex, he bites you, moaning against your new wounds and the taste of blood. He will open his neck for you.

He will offer yourself to you once you wake up as a demon, memories lost and replaced with hunger and thirst. Not remembering the cold feeling of losing blood against his skin.

"Hey love~. Spend the night with me, will ya? I am all yours now, show me what you can do with it~."

Urogi:

Good news, Urogi doesn't want to hurt you.

Bad news, Urogi will hurt you anyway.

It's not even on purpose, he just gets carried away when he plays with you. He is not the most aware of the clones, so playful scratches and bites become dangerous.

He chases you sometimes, always wants attention, to play with you.

He likes to stay with you while you sleep, cuddling against you, sometimes you find him smelling around your scrotch when you are in your period, keeping his face around the area like a dog...

He gets bored of your limitations rather easily, so he decides to try to turn you i to a demon, consecuences be damned.

The last straw is a night when you have your period, the bited part of your legs your thighs, excited in different ways by the scent of ruined blood and vagubal fluids.

Then he will bleed into you, biting his own wrist off, feeding you chunks of his arms after spreading the blood over you.

He will chew and feed you mouth to mouth if it troubles you, only wanting to play with you, the new demon you.

Aizetsu:

His priority is that you are human.... and again, he is rude and hurtful about it.

"It's so sad for both of us. You can't be enough for me just like I can't be what you need. Pathetic." This bit-

Just a heartbeat put of place and knots in the throat were enough for Aizetsu to figure it out, and he didn't like it.

Humans are meant to die, besides, he can't be the husband you would need.

Still, he takes the chance of comfort, to pretend for both of you. He manipulates you into feeling pity for him, and that is how the relationship is formed.

He does kill you, painless and softly conforting you first, the second it becomes a problem.

He will also let you have your last words and wishes, will tell you that he wishes he could have been husband material for you.

He makes a memorial, kisses your corpse goodbye before leaving you behind.

"This is so sad."

Nakime:

Truth be told, she is not surprised.

She can see the appeal in you, she has always prefered women over men, Muzan being the exception, even if he is the exception of many things.

Nakime is very lenient with you, she understands that, as a human, you are more fragile than her, so she must treat you carefully.

She would not put you above Muzan, but she takes care of you, gives you gifts, spends time with you, praises you. You are a lovely lady to her.

Still, unless he approves she will not be transforming you. If he does, she will without any second thought or opinion.

The breaking deal is the next one, she kidnaps you for a while and the leaves you safely at your home. She controls all the interactions.

Why should she listen to you? She adores you, but you are still a human, nothing worth her obedience.

She would not kill you, no matter what. The only way you could die like this is suicide, age or ilness.

Then again, at the end Muzan decides to let her turn you, so he bleeds into a cup and feeds you ger blood, not letting you out until you do.

Akaza:

It starts when Akaza accidently calls you "Koyuki..." the first time you met. He fell hard and fast, and in a painful way.

He begged you to stay, not really knowing why. He cried, grabbed your legs as his knees stayed on the floor.

He needs you, craves for you, to the point of obsession. It takes him a while for him to realize he could turn you into a demon, because part of him venerates the image of a human girl with pink eyes and cheeks.

He can't hurt you when you deny him, but he wants to. He needs to, you have to understand why you should want to be a demon. Why you should want to be forever young, strong and healthy, to stay in the way things were before the poison in the well.

At the same time, he wants to take care of you, and he starts inviting himself to your house, doing the chores and watching you sleep.

He doesn't understand why he is always cheking your temperature and if you are breathing correctly, there is something relieving but also off putting when you always are ok. As if you should be sick.

Maybe part of him wants you to be sick so he can take care of you, but he can't hurt you.

You can't get rid of him, no matter how much you try, he always ends tucking you to bed and forcing you to stay in there until you sleep. He never listens, always treat you as if you were fragile and sick.

He learns how to make your favorites, cleans the house and laundry, starts getting money and pretends to nurse you, even if you don't have anything.

He doesn't know how to feel when you die of age, it's the only way you could die like this, but he breaks. Again.

Sometimes he still calls you Koyuki.

Douma:

Douma starts comparing you with Kotoha and his mother, he is quite vocal about it.

He tells you how silly you are, that his mom and Kotoha were the same, but each of you had your charm.

Yes, "had". He mostly talks about you in past tense, ge is planning to eat you soon. Kotoha almost scaped him and his mother became "too irrational, killed my father with a knife but poisoned herself" with time, so he wants to spare you the chase.

He talks about your face, your eyes, your hair and skin, mostly, he does things he did with Kotoha, hoping to make you laugh. Simple pleasures, not meant to last.

Both women left him, he is 100% sure you would if he gave you the chance, so he doesn't. He kept you by his side for some months, at most.

You are fun to be with, and he is sure he is fun to be around with too... maybe. Not that it matters, you don't really have a choice. Your words against his.

Also, turning you into a demon would give you the chance to run away while he is in a meeting with the other moons. How silly and stupid would it be from him!

He has made his mind to eat you the second he notices that, whatever he is feeling, this lust hunger, this craving, is like Kotoha's.

Because of his experience with her, he will make sure it's in his room, to make it right this time. Also, he will break your leg first, so you can run, coveribg your mouth and cooing you as you try to scream.

He will eat your tongue and lips first, complimenting the taste and texture, in a soft kiss, not really caring if you want it or not. That way you won't be able to formulate your screams for help.

He starts eating you from below, wanting to finish with your head and eyes since he had to blow Kotoha's. He doesn't want to repreat the regret of ruining such a pretty face.

Douma takes his time with you, talking softly and gently, praising you you taste and feel in his mouth, praising how you look.

He is more than satisfied after he finished, stomach full and you forever inside of him. Lovely.

Kokushibou:

This is the first time in his life that he wants the attention of a woman that isn't his mother.

He never felt attracted to women (or anyone, even if he always felt more in place sharing his life with other men), his wife included, he married her as his duty of producing heirs.

Having a woman by his side has always been a responsibility at best, a chore at worst.

But he wants you, and he can't understand it. It's new and confusing, that is the only reason he notices a few days after he catched feelings. Because loving women, wanting women, it's not normal for him.

He watches you, even yearns for you, but his pride and confusion don't make him do anything.

He blames you, resents you, calls you "a temptress" in his mind. What have you done to him? At least he doesn't conpare you to his his brother, but his other relationship with women don't let him relate you to a pleasure.

You are also human, meant to die like his mother and wife did, meant to be remember just as someone's husband and mother. Why are you stealing his attention, then? There is nothings special about you.

But this way it's easier to pretend he doesn't care the moment you die, easier than with Yoriich.

You are lovely, he keeps you around, but besides that? You are just a woman. A pause from his life as a samurai demon at best, a distraction at worst.

He will resent you after you die, but he will also forget you the same way he forgot about the other women in his life. There are only two people in his life with any importance, one was a boy to a man, the other is his King and Master. Women were never important in his life.

Unfortunately cheesy caption but it’s ok!! because I am Insane about this thing!!

This was inspired by a scene in Dream of the Red Chamber where Bao-yu rips open his chest to give his heart to Dai-yu! (within a dream) I’m not at that chapter yet but. You understand how this would make me insane.

Hong Lu’s face is stylized to resemble a comedy mask. He hides his true feelings and deflects through a carefully constructed mask. Also dehumanization! He smiles in most (i think there’s one ID that doesn’t) of his stagger/damaged sprites there is something SO wrong with him!

His clothing is rendered in higher detail than his face/hands/body. Hong Lu places a lot of importance on appearance and is the only sinner to wear the full uniform (properly, which means unfortunately Don does not count.)

The place his chest is torn open mirrors where his tie would be, down to the color. These elements all work to de-emphasize the fact his chest is ripped open. Hong Lu is VERY much about dehumanization/objectification! This is why he’s the fanservice character! The chest rip also mirrors his Dimension Shredder EGO :)

The name on his coat is ambiguous! It can be read as either bao-yu or dai-yu! I have no idea who hong lu is. There’s more theories I’ve entertained about who or what he is than there are sinners. But ambiguity is a big thing in red chamber and I wanted to include it here

The bottom part of his jacket begins flowing like blood, and in the negative space there are teardrop shapes. Hong Lu has an insane amount of water symbolism, and especially tears when we consider all the gloom associations and the Tearful Thing! Dai-yu also owes Bao-yu a lifetime debt of tears she eventually dies repaying!

I think that’s everything! (Aside from the super secret symbolism you can find on your own and should definitely tell me about :) ) Typing on my iPad sucks but hopefully u get the gist and enjoy my art! I usually don’t put this much symbolic thought into my work but it was a refreshing change of pace and I rlly liked making it. I’ve wanted to do a thematically significant piece like this for SO LONG and finally got around to it

As for Rook not liking to be touched, (ignoring my bias that I’m going to address in a minute) it’s more of a Rook thing: she prefers to do “the hunting” and pinning someone down completely is like her instinct. If asked though, she would just say that it would get her too aroused and her heart wouldn’t be able to handle it. Maybe there is some truth to that statement, but… Vil is absolutely allowed to touch her much more than anyone else would, and she mostly does it when she wants to see Rook worked up and agitated. Vil says that it’s like teasing a feral dog that likes the pets but also doesn’t.

As for the rest of the ladies, I kind of talked about this here in the last reply. Haii!! I was wondering if I could get a transformers matchup? Decepticon or autobot, either is fine.

I am genderfluid (they/them) and bisexual. I have short curly black hair with brown/hazel (idk I've been told I have both?) eyes. I'm pale, 5'3 and on the more chubby side. I wear glasses because I'm blind and can't see shit.

I have dyslexia and probably autism but I haven't got tested so Idk. Math has always been very hard for me to understand it in do great in subjects like history.

I am very introverted and tend to avoid social interactions, and I tend to be very judgemental and once I don't like you, I don't like you and will probably never like you. I can be spiteful but id never be outwardly rude of shit talk someone because I tend to freeze up during confrontation but I don't let anyone walk on me, i stand my ground and pick my battles wisely. Im very quiet and have been told I am a great listener and would make a good therapist. While in school I would go weeks without saying a single word but then when I got home it was like I couldn't shut up. Speaking in a public setting is genuinely terrifying to me and it feels like my mouth and glued shut whenever I try to. I am very connected to the environment and its creatures, and feel like I'm able to trust and get along with other animals better then I am people. My one big goal in life is to start a farm/animal rescue. Some of my favorite animals are alligators and crocodiles, and I could probably spill facts about them for hours if someone let me. I tend to be very protective of my things and schedule and get upset when people disrupt or move things. I have a spot for everything and if something isn't in it's spot or gets rearranged somewhere else I get anxious. I collect a lot of things and grow attached to them quickly. I am immensely independent because I am afraid of asking for help. I know exactly what i want and what i need, and I'll manage to do anything to get it. Humor and laughter is a key part of me and what i seek in life. But also trust and loyalty, those are all qualities i possess and seek in others. I tend to overthink sometimes and get paranoid about people leaving me.

My hobbies include art, I like to draw silly little doodles of things. video games, two or my favorite games are doom and silent hill 2. And I enjoyed caring for and spending time with my pets, which I have a lot of. 4 dog, 3 cats, 4 betta fish, 8 chickens, a wild turtle that lives in my backyard, and a bearded dragon. He also shares that he will do whatever to get what he wants

Especially after becoming Megatron, he’s not so laughing or humorous anymore- but if you make jokes around him you’ll see the slightest smirk make its way onto his face. And if he hears you laugh he will always end up smiling

You both need someone who is trustworthy and loyal

Especially after losing the only friend he ever had he also understands the paranoia about losing someone you care about very well.

Ok I need to talk about this with someone and I think you’re so cool and your art is amazing I love it sm, so I hope you don’t mind !! *LONG RANT AHEAD*

This is more like a head-canon/observation I made. I think Tomas’ character is super interesting. I know it’s always said how loyal he is and how much a good guy he is AND I AGREE!! but it made me think more about him and his story. Imagine losing your whole family, it being basically a mistake, and then being taken in by the same clan???? If I’m not mistaken Tomas was probably a pre-teen/teen when this happened as well. I’d like to think that fucks with the mind of a young kid. And this is where it goes into head-canon territory.

I like to believe that Tomas loyalty is a form of defense mechanism for what he went through. Like not only did Tomas probably have a whole whiplash in terms of environment, but also learning about Earthrealm and Outworld??? Like this is a clan that has protected and serve earth realm since probably forever. That is a HUGE change. So, at a young age being so angry (from Tomas encounter with hanzo) instead of holding a grudge forever id like to think Tomas brain just came up with a defense mechanism aka assimilate to where you are.

His new “family” his new “responsibility”. I notice in a lot of interactions it’s “father wanted this” or “father taught us this” he always brings it back to father and teachings. Like to me it would seem like a “if I don’t assimilate to this new situation I might just lose my mind” and that’s exactly what he did. He took on the Lin Kuei traditions, honor, and responsibility and didn’t look back. It’s what he had to do to survive.

Man this even affects his relationship with not only Bi-Han but Kuai Liang as well. He idolized Bi-Han but he wasn’t surprised when Kuai Liang said he betrayed them. No doubt just immediately followed Kuai Liang and accepted it. And after that, the scene where Kuai Liang puts his hand on his shoulder and says “even though we don’t share blood, we are brothers” I haven’t seen anyone mention it but Tomas literally looks down at Kuai Liangs hand for a second and just looks a bit confused. Confused!!! Like I see a lot of people saying how Kuai Liang is the one that treated him well compared to Bi-Han but I bring you this:

Tomas is disconnected from the concept of family when it comes to the Lin Kuei. Like in title and name yes Bi-Han and Kuai Liang are his brothers, but if we go back to what I said, to Tomas personally it doesn’t feel that way. Again going back to what he says to Bi-Han. “Father would’ve wanted us to be brothers”. And Bi-Han’s comments do not help!!! THIS IS NOT MEANT TO SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT BROTHERS: THEY ARE, I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH PLS.

They are brothers, but if I were to put myself in Tomas shoes I’d feel so dissociated from that knowing what happened to my first family. In title yes we are brothers because it is what is expected, it’s what father wanted. But we’re no longer Lin Kuei and you still called me brother? Why?

Like that’s what I feel like would go through his head.

Man and that interaction he has with Liu Kang. “Can I ever get the brothers to reconnect?” Or something like that. MAN. Not even a “can I get my brothers to reconcile”. Like this poor man probably dissociated and disconnected himself so hard from his situation and just tried to make the best of what he had.

And imagine the way they could expand on this. A Tomas who no longer is part of the Lin Kuei but still holds onto their traditions and secrets, and how he deals with understanding and processing that. A Tomas who is still having a hard time seeing Kuai Liang as a brother outside of the clan but devoting his undying loyalty to him and learning to slowly trust him as Tomas not Smoke. A Tomas who feels so conflicted over Bi-Han because he feels like he should’ve done more so Kuai Liang didn’t lose his brother, but realizes he also lost a brother himself. The grief of loosing yet more family. A Tomas who can drop the name Smoke and just be someone’s brother, someone’s friend, someone’s brother-in-law.

There’s obviously cultural factors that take place here and I don’t know if I did a good job on touching upon them, but this is just my head canon. I know I’m like way off but it’s interesting to see Tomas through this lens. Thank you for reading through all of this if you do🙏

THIS IS IMPORTANT I noticed that in my download count most didn’t download the package file as well

You need both for the mod to work properly.

Open your file folder folder go to the file named Electronic arts it should be in your documents section of your files. Click it!

Click on the next folder named The Sims 4 after that find your mods folder, that is the folder where you’ll be placing the Messy Trait in.

Go to downloads and drag both of those to your mods folder make sure since its a script file it is no more than one subfolder deep!

A tip make sure to delete your local thumbcache it has a tendency to store old mod data that is in the same folder labeled The Sims 4

Also when deleting old mods do the same delete that cache babes

Last step when you load up the game make sure to go in game options and click enable mods and and click enable script mods!

Can anyone give an idea of why sexual thoughts about these two are objectively bad?

Ok, first think of the kind of creepy perv who it would scare you to know they are thinking sexually about you. Is it because they look or seem dirty and gross? What does that actually mean?

Secondly, are they a predator because of it? Are they acting like a predator? Or are they simply thinking private thoughts and you have no idea they’re even doing it other than a hunch?

And lastly, is the idea of deviant sexuality something that grosses you out, period?

These three are sounding suspiciously like the subtext of stranger things’ plot. Monsters and prejudice vs an apparently deviant predator.

The main issue against this blog and the practises it endorses seems to be that people don’t want to KNOW. You can keep your deviancy to yourself. Which is an entirely different branch of the issue than whether it is actually ok to be ‘deviant’ or not.

If you’re not hurting anyone, what makes sexual fantasy objectively bad? Ok, so maybe it’s the very idea of byler fans being a bit lewd about these two teens. Perhaps it seems like these fans are bad people at heart because they give in to those desires of enjoying byler in a sexual context. Although again that screams to me of the id and the shadow self and the dark psyche - what Vecna represents in s4. Considering that healthy sex/fantasy is enjoyable, pleasurable, fun, why is this considered more perverted than other taboo topics like violence?

Is it because taking pleasure from someone (without their knowledge, as when fantasising about someone) is considered worse than doing something unenjoyable / painful / bad / violent? Of course sex can be used as violence, but no one here is doing that. Yet still, some bylers think that fantasy is a violation of something akin to committing physical violence.

I don’t know the answers, I’m just spitballing. It’s just interesting to me, perhaps because I have a background in visual art and in theatre. I’ve got experience discussing and considering works that examine pretty much any taboo you can imagine. For example, there’s a play from the POV of a convicted paedophile in prison. There’s also a play called Sylvia and Sheep or something (can’t remember) but it’s about bestiality. It basically asks why our society considers bestiality to be morally wrong, when only fifty years ago, homosexuality was considered to be just as heinous. The answer seems obvious: animals can't speak and so can't give consent. But the play makes interesting and surprising counter-arguments.

These plays are both controversial works. Not to say I agree with the ideas in practise, but as an artist, I cannot disagree with the examination of those ideas.

So perhaps people here think that byler can't give consent, because they're too young to know better, or because you're thinking about them without their consent. But you can see how both of these arguments don't hold up considering they are fictional characters, and we are imagining them together, not self-inserting into the narrative. Also, you don't consent to think something lol.

Also to bring this around to the performers in case anyone was still claiming that Finn or noah themselves might be uncomfortable with sexual content for byler, Finn has said his favourite genre of literature is transgressive fiction, which includes authors like Charles Bukowski, who are rather dark and twisted. He said to the audience at the con (who were mainly minors) that these books are not suitable for them lol.

Also, I COULD use this last as more vague evidence that Finn may indeed be queer but I’m not going to go there

Your post made me wonder, but no pressure to answer. Do you not like puppyshipping? If so is it ok if I ask why? And is it something you avoid or just not your thing? I'm just wondering because you follow me and I feel obligated to tell you I do ship and sometimes post about it. And I don't want to make you uncomfortable. So I feel like I should tell you just in case you'd want to either block the tag, unfollow, etc if you wish to /genuine questions, I hope this didn't come off as rude

I‘m not a huge fan of the ship but I also don’t hate it. It’s a big hit or miss for me depending on how well the characters get portrayed. Sadly the fandom (especially the western half) tends to heavily mischaracterize both characters. I don‘t really care about shipping in general tho nor do I care which ship people like or don’t. So seeing ship art of them doesn’t bother me xD But what does bother me for some unexplainable reason is when people bring shipping stuff onto my posts. It just makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Every time I make a merch post featuring another character I can guarantee you that someone will reblog it under their ship tag. It can even be a ship that i like, but like it’s merchandise…There’s nothing shippy about it. Feel free to ship whoever you like but don’t use my posts from my own precious collection T~T I‘m happy that my post about the ID card could inspire a whole fanfic, but at the same time it makes me not want to look at it anymore. Especially since the fanfiction did actually make me uncomfortable. The writer was also like „blame this on a tumblr post where someone got kaiba’s ID card“ or something like that. My dude at least give proper credit to my post if it inspired you that much.

I was actually kinda pissed with the whole yorozu thing because generally the concept wouldn’t have been god awful maybe but the whole set up and hint dropping about tsumikis lore in s1 really set my expectations too high SIGH anyways a Karasu otoya kiyora light novel would go so hard I lowk wonder if they’d throw someone like kurona zantetsu or tokimitsu in first (preferably not this last option oops) but we shall see!!!! I’M ACTUALLY WRITING THE NAGI AND AIKU AU AND IT’S LOWKEY SOOO FUN writing it from nagi’s pov is def. interesting. because his mindset is honestly not too explored so i’m kind of making it up as i go based on vibes love and plot reasons but basically the set up is they meet kinda randomly and aiku convinces nagi to play soccer with him by saying that it’ll be the path that requires the least effort in life and because he (aiku) is the best defender in japan, nagi will only need to score one goal per game if they play together (since aiku will defend all of the other goals) so it’s just them going through and nagi taking that SUPER literally and only scoring that one goal per game UNTIL he meets sae and then in the game against the bllk11 he finally scores more than once which is why the u20s end up winning instead…obviously no romance but it’s fun to show nagi being friends with completely different people and how different his dynamic with aiku (who does kinda mother him but absolutely doesn’t coddle him) is compared to how he is with reo canonically…like i said i’m hoping to have it finished super soon and posted (finally breaking my “no writing for over a month” streak) so then you can read it in full yourself ^^ once it’s out i’ll get back to the carnivorous pegasi racing au because i want to also post a request since i haven’t done so in ages 😭

Hey! Thanks for your patience, I’ve been living hell lately and wanted to give you a thorough answer.

So as a general response (but i will definitely put a list somewhere in this ask with all my recs), I do want to preface by saying I am not and will never diagnose Taylor with anything. When I say “this song reminds me of my psychosis” or “this song is so BPD coded,” it’s my own experience and interpretation of a piece of art that she willingly gave out to be experienced and interpreted.

That being said, I’ll also say that when I say a lot of her songs remind me of having psychosis, it’s not about the staple paranoia, hallucinations, delusions, etc that you may experience (although if anyone has any song recs that do relay that lmk pls lmao all I know is paranoia by neoni 😭😭), it’s more about the slightly more widely experienced, uhhhh, “look” to other people? And to explain that, let’s take a deep dive at uhhhh Blank Space

Ok so the first few stanzas, which I’ll put a picture of here, she’s obviously setting the scene of the song and outright states like twice that the relationship will not last. Before my current partner, that was definitely my viewpoint on things. Knowing my mental illnesses will get in the way of any healthy relationships. That doesn’t immediately spell out psychosis but let’s move.

“Got a long list of ex-lovers; they’ll tell you I’m insane.” So yeah here we get to the meat of it, she’s clearly (imo) acknowledging the “crazy bitch” label and I think that’s something every psychotic person experiences to some degree, even the cishet white masc ones. Like yeah probably not as much as like an afab person or a femme aligned person or someone else, but you can’t act like ableism is ever fully stopped by privilege. It’s not.

More on being a crazy bitch—she has a lot of songs on this. She has a lot to say. I will keep listening, bc yeah lmao.

So like yeah it’s like a fun song and it sounds upbeat n shit and like I do have a lot of fun listening to it, but if we pay attention to what she’s actually saying, it’s like yeah she’s throwing a party but that’s because what else is there to do? She’s tried controlling it, she’s tried getting help, getting better, she’s tried being honest, being fake, nothing works. (She is me I am she). So… guess we’re crazy bitches now

Anyway thats like a super basic example but honestly the what I would personally call ableism that she has had to deal with is LITTERED in her songs. Whether she’s psychotic or not, whether she has BPD or not, anything else, idc. Even if she’s perfectly fucking mentally healthy. Anyone coming at her (or her fans, or uhhh anyone??) for displaying what look like poor mental health symptoms, whether they are or not, is coming at her with ableism.
