i dont know, i get why people didnt like the ending but its. .. . it makes more sense in the comicverse. bc the squad doesnt really. .. interact outside of jobs? i mean, think of the moon landing story in ttt. that was booker and joe and nicky doing a job and andy only showed up a for a couple minutes after it was done. or the brunch in the first issue of opening fire. the squad arent as tight in the comic, and andy often seems to do her own thing outside of work, so andy saying 'i dont want to do work anymore' and the squad being like 'alright bye then' makes more sense in this universe than the movie one

also i feel like greg was Trying to set up a thing where nile becomes the Leader of The Squad after andy dies but like. its not very well done since. . . i mean, nile hasnt spoken to booker since opening fire, (and she only knew him A Day). and shes known joe and nicky all that time, but there isnt really anything that indicates that they have any relationship at all, much less one that's grown. in all the comicverse the only time nile and nicky speak is in FM, and in that scene nicky tells nile about noriko. nile goes from someone who needs to be set aside to have background knowledge explained to her to being the Leader of the group with nothing in between. it kind of... comes out of nowhere.

on the other hand tho... i felt really bad for andy thru the whole thing. well, i always felt bad for andy, but in this one she seemed so miserable, especially since it really felt like none of the others actually.... cared about her. when noriko came back no one asked andy how she was doing (big question ik, but it wouldve showed they cared at least), nobody ever expressed any concern for her, no one even really seemed to want to be around her. in opening fire everyone was more distant than in the movie of course, but there were little moments where she would joke with joe, or nicky would try and comfort her, or stuff like that, but in FM it really felt like they just didnt really care about her. & in opening fire it felt a lot like andy's relationship with nile breathed some new life into her, but in FM it felt like all they did was argue. i get theyre not *as* close in the comics but it really felt like the only person who cared about andy at all was noriko (which was probably also how andy felt) but it just seemed to come out of nowhere. honestly i was reading and i was honestly agreeing with andy that she might just be better off if she did just die. opening fire, on the other hand, never make me feel that way

tho everyone made it sound like when the squad split up it was one of those cursed 'the found family leaves each other at the end of the journey' tropes. but guys i mean,,, this is the second installment out of three. that isnt the End. theyll come back in the third one and Dramatically Reunite to fight some baddies (probably those 'others' noriko mentioned). im guessing yitzhak fits into that too somehow.

anyways it wasnt That Bad but it made me kind of sad and the only Sweet Found Family vibes in it were when they saved booker. also they shouldve beefed up that nilemoose romance, it underwhelmed me. 6.5/10

-this was such a weird ending to an entire show. why did season 3 only have 13 episodes?? why did it feel so weirdly paced?? WHY WAS THE ENDING LIKE THAT. I think. I am going to pretend I did not see that. fucked up, dudes. I'm like...hm. I shouldn't have watched that because now I'm mad. valerie sweetie im SO sorry you shouldve been more present. it felt like..if they knew this season was going to be short, and the last season, they should've spent more time wrapping up EVERYONE'S plot lines for the entire season. imagine how cool it wouldve been if every single ep of season 3 was working towards something, a big, nice wrap up at the end, with nothing feeling TOO rushed because they'd been heading towards the End for the whole season....

I will probably end up writing a follow up full series thoughts post. In a couple of days so I can sit with my thoughts. BUT. overall, I really liked the show! (ignoring the finale and some of the moments that aged pretty poorly...) it was charming and a fun concept and very fun to watch in general :) and I am pretending the finale didnt happen <3 and I’m gonna dive RIGHT into the dp tags and mix fanart and posts in my queue, very excited to run and look at that 🏃🏻 (and, of course, make more fanart myself hehe >:3)

I wasn’t sure if I should post this but I mostly want it archived so here we go. This is from like,, September?

So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)

ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.

And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)

And it destroyed me.

For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

MY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT OUTTAKES 16-18.5 BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY

We have been blessed with 3.5 glorious new parts to the wonderful Losty Aone/ Mountain Man Series by the wonderful, amazing, awe-inspiring @shhhlikeme and i am emotional and have many many feelings about it all.

Outtake 16 

I love that we got to see this from the reeader’s point of view, it was nice to see our losty y/n and see how their feeling. It was a nice break from feeling sad about Aone’s broken heart.

This part made me laugh ahaha

After dating and breaking up with him, Aone had females constantly approaching him. A/N: Not constantly but it felt that way for you ofc lol

the jealously😂, the Author’s note too like “it wasnt like that at all” 😂 this emotional person (y/n) is just  blowing up the situation. 

and then this:

In other words: They want what you had. 

i mean of course they would, Aone is the sweetest boy but only to someone he loves. Aone’s heart is too strong to let waver to someone knew so quick

This whole outtake all i could think about was that Y/n really needs to get back with her mountain man, first they want to break up so Aone finds someone new but then doesnt want him to find someone new. Like cleary y/n is not being honest with herself or Aone. 

When they went to the library, ahhh y/n really just imagining the worst scnenarios in their head😂

“Oh,” your stomach flipped. “He looks so cute.” You put on a 🥺 face when you noticed how utterly adorable a standing Takanobu looked

🥺🥺🥺 Aone is always such a cutie, and y/n really broke this man’s heart😭 I know it was insecurites but still. These two are so in love but just wont get back together. 

The outfit y/n is wearing😍 you always pick these really cute and sexy outfits and I appreciate y/ns confidence and style but it is not me 😂😂 but Aone thirsting over his girl tho, i would dress up like that if it meant getting looked by Aone like that 😂

I love Aone’s plan, like he is such a sweetheart and he’s making me all soft at all his effort to win his girl back🥺🥺

This outtake really gave up all the feels y/n is feeling with breaking up with Aone and I am enjoing it 😂. At the same time though I just want these to love birds to get back together ahhhhh. 

One of the things I really love about this story is how strong the friendship is and how we see the outside characters really show how much they care. A lot of stories (like shojou, oh man you dont know how much shoujo manga ive read haha) just sideline their friends after the start talking to their love interest or they dont even have friends at all in the whole story. I really enjoyed seeing Katana be a voice of reason in our losty’s life. And of course the K_nji’s being our boy Aone’s best friends.

okay we starting with the real friends the K_nji’s warning our boy Aone about the situation. I love them and how much they care 😂. They can be dumbasses but still, I appreciate their effort. 

The University—our University— sent her a uniform that’s a size or two too small.

Does this mean they’re going to the same university? or am I reading too much into it? It might have been mentioned before but I cant remember off the top of my head. Also Aone really living his best life and his worst life rn 😂😂  like he gets to see his girl in a super tight cheer leading uniform and spend one on one time with her but he cant do anything about his desires. His confidence tho haha  “I’ve seen Y/N in a cheerleading uniform before” not like this you havent😏 

Aone Takanobu can truly say—if he could speak—that he will never even question Futakuchi again.

Again I just really love their friendship, parts like this really get me 😂😂😂

When y/n took out Aone’s jacket automatically🥺🥺 my hearttttt, and how long Aone’s jacket is on them🥺🥺 this whole part made me so softtt. Like imagine wearing his jacket🥺🥺 it would be so comfy and warm. 

There are so many golden lines I loved from this part, but Aone’s spank bank is just a phrase I wasnt expectng to read but it is gold. Im sure his bank is full and loaded😂

Then some random gross guy comes up to y/n, like the audacity of this guy.

now onto the fun part of this outtake😏 I wasn’t expecting to see texts but it was definitely a nice addtion!! Our poor Aone soo horny and sweet, I dont know if the dead squirrels worked hahaha. 

but he couldn’t help but wonder how he was going to edit all of this together in the time frame he promised he would with only one hand.

this went over my head when i read it the first time omg😂😂😂 Im sure Aone can do it, he’s a very capable man. This whole section had me laughing but also feeling slightly bad for Aone, again his poor horny heart right now is conflicted but very much fed. Im glad he was able to get a break, I dont think his length could wait (im not used to using subtle language hahaha) anyway this whole part was fun to read.

Im just going to talk about my feelings for this part, but the whole confesson. I felt like crying, i feel like crying now reading it😭 it was just so beautiful. Like y/n explaing everything and saying Aone is the only man she’ll ever love. Throughout the series we really go to understand Aone’s feelings so deeply and how passionate he is but we didnt really get to see how y/n felt as much so reading this made me happy for Aone for the fact that his girl loves him as much as he loves her. They really were lost for each other, lost with out each other, but together they were

AW YES IM SO GLAD THAT YOURE EXCITED!! i got this ask this morning and it seriously made me want to stay home from school and just infodump. im putting this under a cut since it will probably get a bit long i just kind of wrote down some fun tidbits and etc

mavis

absolute jock-passing nerd. she dresses like she Does Sport even though she did like quiz bowl and whatnot instead.

shes quite chill and thoughtful (its the taurus rising) but gets easily bored and needs constantly new forms of stimulation to stay motivated. she loves a challenge and basically feeds off of that kind of stuff. this really only cancelled out when its something deeply stressful (like being teleported to an entirely new dimension and all that). she CAN settle down into one spot and feel comfortable with that so long as she isnt BORED because GOD FORBID SHES BORED.

mavis likes science but especially astronomy, and despite everything shes actually really into horror movies and the paranormal too. a definite Halloween Enthusiast and also listens to lemon demon dare i say.

whenever shes stressed or frustrated or anxious her knee jerk instinct is to try and joke about it and move on. she isnt really direct about how she feels and whatnot and when she IS its usually via punchline.

silas

silas is probably one of the easiest people to read in the cast. its basically impossible for him to lie or say that hes doing well if he isnt. hes a very honest person and expects that kind of honesty from others also, and it becomes really frustrating for him when people arent direct about how they feel

BECAUUUUSEEEE hes also very empathetic. both of the hao siblings are but he goes about it in a very different way than catriona. hes much more like “I have to know everything about why you are upset or else ill die” because if he sees someone sad and doesnt know why it basically eats him up inside until he knows.

hes also a bit of a jokester not about his feelings or anything but just in general! rather than using it as a defense he just really enjoys making people laugh. silas is very sociable.

sometimes he can be a bit of a try hard.... he is really doing his best and i love him. him and lea and mavis all share a need to establish themselves as something greater than they are and his mainly stems from Youngest Sibling Syndrome with a side of boredom with his own life too. mavis and silas really bond over that but silas didnt really take on any escapist tendencies like mavis did. he pushes himself to take action and try many things and considers many paths.

catriona

she has a teddy bear in her room that she hides in a reading cubby because its still important but she feels that her image as Mature and Put Together matters too much to really share that soft side with others. and i think that basically sums her up as a character.

really just needs some fuckin sleep. she is fueled by various caffeinated beverages (her favorites being an overly elaborate coffee order and arizona green tea). shes articulate, but because shes usually running on 4 or 5 hours of sleep she can sometimes miss small details or starts talking faster than her own thoughts+stumbling over her own words.

shes a bit suspicious of other people because shes had her trust tested a lot. catriona is very like kind and warm still though its just that like... you know. if you wrong her its very hard to win her back and she likely wont trust you with anything again.

shes also much more of a “fix it” kind of person when it comes to problems. she will absolutely provide a shoulder to cry on when you need it but at the end of the day she provides very practical support by trying to provide options. she takes the same approach with her own feelings too.

kirabo

basically like “*softly* dont”. they are very cautious and dont take a lot of risks unless theyre absolutely sure that it will work out and there will be a benefit. however, theyre still optimistic and theyre always able to see the best in other people and in any situation. not really in that toxic kind of positivity way... but as in like they are able to appreciate the small things and whatnot

^ that world view is basically why they are so into botany. its very precise but its something small that you can really appreciate and see your own success in little by little. they also like arts and crafts.

they are incredibly diplomatic despite their initial virgo stubbornness. theyre really open to other perspectives and theyre very patient/understanding. kirabo and catriona are basically opposites in this respect and so they balance eachother out a lot here.... they are like bestest buds.

they are very big on like Emotionally Productive Self Care. kirabo WILL put on a face mask and will be like “dont @ me i am chillin”. and they will be like “enough is enough i am going to knit a fucking scarf a second”. they just have a lot of little hobbies to keep them busy like that because they are super fidgety. anxious energy... the mercury-ism

minka

absolutely hates being underestimated in any capacity. minka is fully aware of her intelligence and capabilities and expresses no qualms with it whatsoever. alot of her insecurity ends up lying in her social life and etc. shes just been through a lot and really just wants to share her passions with other people.

really likes to decorate and APPEARS messy but is super organized. she has that sort of “chaotic order” thing going on where she can locate something even if its under a huge pile of random stuff. she has lots of stickers and lots of color-coding methods too.

will do the “are we there yet” thing and the “why? why? why?” thing. mostly out of curiosity to see how far she can go. she is always so curious about how far she can go with everything. so once she finds company she basically never wants to be alone. shes very talkative and inquisitive.

a baby bi.... she is still figuring it out a little though

lea

a little >:3c and i like love that for her. she has a lot of charisma and energy and those are things that she really NEEDS TO HAVE with being a video game streamer and all but deep down shes just really mischievous and playful too.

i consider her a vriska by technicality. she has a lot of issues revolving around her identity and how people perceive her because so much of the time she deals with people projecting an idea of what shes like onto her. so alot of her thing is allowing herself to just be rather than feeling like she needs to put on a show.

^ shes actually probably one of the hardest people to read in the cast because of that. its not that shes not being herself... its just that she feels like she needs to be a pretty altered version of herself. the neptune in 1st struggle. she also kind of tends to have one foot out the door on everything but it makes her very adaptable. pretty much opposite to mavis in that its hard for her to settle down in any sense.

has a scorpio mercury but a libra venus so basically like “good luck my deep lovecore affections for you will be hidden behind several proxies”. also it just makes it to where she comes off very Intense at first as is the scorpio placement way. but really its fucking great and i love her.

trinity

well theyre a scorpio sun AND a scorpio moon aka theyre like “i will know everything about you but you will never know anything about me ever” and also theyre like *rebirth* *rebirth* *rebirth*

despite what the emotional constipation and capricorn rising may tell you they are seriously A Lot. they make very quick decisions based on any instantaneous assumptions that they have so deep down theyre just very emotional and impulsive. AND intuitive which is partially because they are analytical of others but all around theyre mostly guided by like Vibez.

their precognition is kind of like if you randomly started having dreams during the day and only saw them through your left eye. so more than anything they get kind of like... weird deja vu when they talk to people or go to places that theyve seen in their visions.

really they are just like. okay in theory by first impression they would be a vriska but in actuality they are a rose lalonde because like. come on. theres a certain self-aware yet chaotic and dramatic and repressed je ne sais quoi here

endgame spoilers i watched it a couple weeks ago here are my complaints lol

nebula and gamora...... were done so dirty lmao....... i am not surprised, i knew this was gonna happen but still.

i mean i really liked nebula in endgame! i love seeing how far she’s come since gotg! she played a larger role in this film than i was expecting and that was nice!

i just disliked the fact that she ends up killing her past self?? it’s such an example of the problem with these big ensemble films... other characters’ arcs take precedence over other characters and so like while killing her past self makes sense for the overall narrative... it doesnt make sense for nebula’s character arc....

or like how since this the last film in which we’ll be seeing all original avengers together, of course it’s them that are prioritized over other characters which means Of Course it’s tony that ultimately defeats thanos even tho really it makes more sense for thanos to be defeated by nebula and gamora and that would’ve been a rly big development in their arcs but guess not! i guess! no can do!

they tried to make the tony vs thanos conflict this Big Dramatic Thing but in reality it is sooooo impersonal....... which makes the conflict and the resolution of that conflict just not very interesting to me...

like imagine if the gotg films were it’s own franchise. no other marvel movies exist, it’s not connected to anything else, it is it’s own thing. then that would mean the gotg franchise has thanos for itself and those films would be leading up to the defeat of thanos which can be fulfilled by nebula and gamora because theyre protagonists of these films. imagine how satisfying that wouldve been!! like gotg has always focused on themes of family! that franchise ending with nebula and gamora defeating their abusive adoptive father with the help of their new found family wouldve been so emotionally impactful and satisfying!

but nnnoooo instead we get tony vs thanos. they don’t even know each other. they’re just that one guy that got in the way of their desires. just an obstacle. that connection is not deep enough to be interesting

ok i went off on a tangent there but back to nebula killing her past self.... Why. we know that given time, the nebula that we see can change for the better! we know bc we see that nebula right there! our nebula! but nooope instead of getting a powerful scene about nebula literally staring her trauma right in the face and how she feels about that now that she’s grown so much...... she just kills her? i mean she tries to appeal to her? but this past nebula isnt given the time she needs to grow! she’s just killed off with 0 compassion......... and it’s such... a sad and unsatisfying development... like there’s a difference between “letting the past die” and killing your past traumatized self.... like if her past self deserves to die and isnt worthy of compassion then that just goes against our nebula’s entire existence? she is the person she is in the present bc she was shown compassion and was allowed to grow! why is this nebula not deserving of that? it’s literally just bc it’s inconvenient to everyone else... thats awful.

then there’s gamora...... like she finds out about this future in which thanos succeeds in his plan and........... she fucking WAITS???? SHE WAITS TO STOP HIM??? IM SORRY BUT WHHHAAAAT THE FUCK??????

like!!! this is literally around the time in our timeline when gamora enacts her plan to ditch thanos and steal the power stone for herself as soon as she finds out that he’s found it’s location in order to stop it from getting into his hands. you’re telling me that gamora waits A LONG SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF TIME after thanos gets all the information he needs to get not just the power stone but ALL THE OTHER INFINITY STONES before attempting to stop him?? YOURE ASKING ME TO BELIEVE THAT?? THAT SHE WOULDNT IMMEDIATELY OR AT LEAST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TRY TO STOP HIM?

like if i remember correctly, by the time she teams up with future nebula to try to stop thanos, he’s already made significant progress in formulating/enacting his plan to get all the infinity stones..... like she doesnt try to sabotage/steal the information re:time travel in order to keep thanos away from the stones??? it doesnt make sense. it does not make sense that she would wait i cant get over it what the fuck alsooo...... while im glad that gamora isn’t just Dead now and that there’s an alive gamora out and about.... it Upsets me deeply that this isnt our gamora lmao. and this isnt just me being unnecessarily sentimental. it just sucks storytelling wise. gamora underwent so much development from the 1st gotg up to infinity war...... and now all of that is all Gone bc new gamora didn’t experience ANY of that! like saying her development was retconned maybe isn’t exactly true bc all of that development still happened and is Canon but... it’s basically all irrelevant now bc! again! this gamora didnt go through any of it! when peter and gamora reunite in infinity war and peter is emotional and gamora is like What the Fuck? like ha ha yeah funny but...... peter and gamora are very important to each other. theyve been through a lot together. whether or not you like their romance is whatever but them telling each other “i love you” in infinity war was such a HUGH DEAL considering everything they went through as individuals..... and now that development is Gone. and it sucks.

rly i felt all the female characters in endgame got the short end of the stick in this movie :/ like sure theres that One Group Shot... and sure it made whiny men cry so that’s great... it’s cool but like it felt so shallow to me! the bare minimum! very few of the women in that scene actually significantly contributed to the plot of endgame.... like it’s So Easy to put all these women in one shot but it’s a whole other thing entirely to give those women actual Roles in the plot. they even fridged another women in the Literal Exact Same Way they did in infinity war! the exact same way! like the 1st time they did it was unnecessary and unjustifiable to me and then they really went and did it again exactly the same! ALRIGHT! COOL I GUESS!

also captain marvel was so hyped up as being the Key to defeating thanos but the film comes out and i dont think she’s even in it for like 5 minutes total screentime. i mean i wont lie. seeing her fight thanos no problem was really really cool and i loved it but then it lasted what? 10 seconds? 

idk it’s just. rly rly easy to give superficial nods to the strength of these women and while, yes, it bothers whiny man babies and isnt harmful... it’s still superficial <:/ like these are just tiny itty bitty baby steps. it’s 2019 please allow female characters to play larger more significant roles in stories..... alluding to their strength is not the same thing as that. hire female writers.

overall i didnt have a Bad Time watching this movie? i actually laughed plenty. all the scenes with scott are wonderful. but overall the movie was just... fine... and left me feeling empty and indifferent like a lot of other mcu films leave me feeling <:) despite it’s faults i enjoyed iw a lot better and so endgame felt anticlimactic to me which is yknow. bad. considering it’s supposed to be a big finale.

sorry to be a big ol No Fun Allowed boy but i mean. the thing that i find so attractive about these films is Character! like ive only rly enjoyed a handful of mcu films but the reason i keep coming to watch the new ones is bc the idea of these characters is so attractive to me! this expansive superhero universe gives a big opportunity to explore a whole bunch of different characters and a whole bunch of different character dynamics. and while for the most part the mcu is good at producing distinct, conceptually interesting characters.... theyre generally not very good at utilizing them and building them up... which is why they leave me feeling empty

O Brother Where Art Thou 11x09

Good Lord! Am I right guys? This one was the best midseason finale since... well, like ever! It was also the most painful and stressful. Sam had been wrestling with these visions since 11x02 and he was terrified!! But, he didnt back down, why? Because he’s Sam Fucking Winchester and hes the only one with enough balls to face his torturer, in hopes to clean up their mess and save the world.  In the beginning of the episode, Sam is having a vision of himself in the cage with Lucifer. Sam seems scared at first, but Lucifer touches his face, and smiles. Sam has this face that chilled me... of being calm, and kind of smiling, as if Lucifer is soothing him. Which was creepy af, disturbing and worrisome. But this makes for good TV... the best stuff is when we’re made to feel stuff. 

Soon we see Sam standing in the woods, asking God if this is what he wants. Now, just a thought of mine, forgive me for straying off topic for a second, but after what all went down at the end of S10, and Death telling Sam he should die, Im wondering why the writers didnt have Sam believe God wanted him to go back to Hell. Like... have him believe he shouldnt have been brought back and this is what happens when you mess with fate. Have Lucifer tricking him into believing he should BE in Hell. Like none of this crap would have happened over the years if he would have just died and stayed dead. I know, its sad and depressing, but I personally think it would have made more sense, than Sam thinking God wanted him to talk to Lucifer. Because everything he was seeing in the visions was him in Hell, being tortured. Not really sure how Sam deduced God was telling him to talk to Lucifer?? Whatever, not dwelling on it, I love this episode anyway. So Sam and Dean decide they’ll try to find a way for Sam to talk to Luci without releasing him. But theyre gonna go talk to Rowena and Crowley to see if its possible to do it safely. “Because if Sam’s not safe, it aint happening” Dean says... and I love it hehe. 

They meet with Rowena and this is something I want y’all go back and take notice to. They tell Rowena they have a plan to stop the darkness and when she asks who is in this cage, Sam says “Lucifer” Rowena says “Lucifer? Sam gets his jacket (lol sorry I find that funny af) and goes to Hell with Rowena and Crowley even though he couldnt get a hold of Dean. So we know this isnt going to go smoothly... as if anything ever does. 

Bringing up Lucifer was very tense and dramatic. The music and the flames, were pretty overwhelming even for the viewer, and then Sam breaks my heart as he is visibly beginning to hyperventilate and has to walk away. :( but he has composed himself when he walks back on screen. My headcanon is, now that we know more about Sam’s Lucifer issues, that he may have been worried he’d see Lucifers True Face again and this made him panic a little. But then seeing he was just in the Nick suit calmed him down more. 

While talking with Lucifer, he’s taunting Sam, and being a real dick. But Sam is strong and brave, he isnt budging, but the warding fails and Lucifer pulls Sam into the cage. Now Sam looks terrified again, he’s backing away and keeping his eyes on Lucifer the whole time, but not losing his shit. Though now my heart breaks when Lucifer tells him it wasnt God in his head, it was just him. “God isnt with you Sam, hes never been with you, its always been just me. So I guess I am your only hope” and Sam lets a tear drop. “Its not gonna happen” and this is such a parallel to Sam’s dream in Free To Be You And Me in S5. Then they have the BALLS to end the midi finale with “Settle in buddy.... top bunk? lower bunk? Or do you wanna share?” UGGGGGGHHHHH I wouldnt have made it 6 weeks if Id been watching it live at the time! I barely made it the 2 minutes it took to get back to the cage when the next episode started!! That will be my #13 for my bext entry :) I have to say Bucklemming did very good with this one!

Like i dotn jnow what to dooo i keep getting worse and worse every day, the sadness isnt going away it just keeps on growing and getting worse daily, im so lazy and unmotivated every day, ive been getting rly mad snd irritated at everything, ive been lashing out on myself on my arms until theyre ugly and i cant trll anyone . -tbh i do really like that it gives marie negative qualities, and shows/elaborates on them more than before. prior to req i always thought “marie is so sweet i get that she was ignorant of people’s suffering but shes so kind to everyone and funny and down to earth i think shes redeemed herself and she just didnt know before” but imo in req it really shows her kinda.. selfishness? lack of empathy? shes kind to a person who essentially validates her/gives her a sexy evil outfit/ect. and even tho that person was cruel to her brother’s friend and her son and killed both of them she kinda overlooks that in favor of “she gave me this cool thing abt myself!” i dont hate marie, in fact i like her more for actually having flaws, and i think it fits her personality that shed have this flaw, but it makes me mad bc it isnt a good design. they just gave you the most generic cliche “evil is sexy” and not even in like a cute/endearing way like n w h or a dramatic memey way like jojo, just a boring, thoughtless way. but yea this was supposed to be what i liked so

-i also like that sal tries to kill the main character. gosh im so sick and tired of every character being all like “ohh person reading this swoons i love you”. characters like izou who dont trust the main character, who threaten to kill you if you abuse them, chefs kiss i love you. and sal wanting to kill the main character is so good. he is literally not having it. murder cat i love you.

-this is just me being an angst fan but in a way i do kinda like the angst it gives. i think i dont have a problem w a plot where sals in trouble, or even suffering. but its more the reaction to it. the story has a fit when rhyme gives up the werewolf card and gets turned into a coin, but doesnt fucking bat an eye at everyone falsely accusing sal and having him executed in game. and its not some funny amongus thing either, its straight up execution. mozart being the werewolf and being a troll is in character, but youd think at least the main characters would acknowledge “hey (free character) thats fucked up what you are doing to sal (and cordy, and whoever else was killed in the lovers. deon maybe?)” but no. theyre not a cute baby child so they dont fucking matter (and rhyme gives up herself, so its not even like evil marie or anyone did anything to her)

-to list everything i hate abt req would be too fucking long. its frustrating bc i should have liked all the characters. a dinosaur, the fucking voyager spacecraft, even like essentially a demigod with ryomas spear. but the dinosaur is “passive sad uwu lady backstory” and took the place of my son. the spacecraft is a shameless apologist and also a literature character for no reason than the person who summoned him liked that book. (like excuse me how does that make sense. sal shows up in a fucking jojo cosplay bc i like jojo? i dont think so). i do like e rice for being an accurate depiction of a teenager, and i dont mean that as in “cringey” or whatever. i mean someone who irredeemably hurts others with selfishness and a lack of control over emotions, and who lashes out at others bc she is suffering, causing them the hurt that she feels. bc thats how people react to suffering, esp ppl who dont know better, and agewise kids just, for the most part, are less experienced with it so they have an excuse (some adults still do that ofc, and some kids have good enough intuition not to, ofc). apparently its become a trend to romanticize teenagers creeping on people/ect. and thats pretty fucked up imo. like if youre gonna romanticize “cringe” do it in a way like this, the reaction/reading aside. show that its a part of growing up, and not knowing consequences isnt a bad thing, but you have to be responsible for them (again why am i reminded that fucking spiderman of all things does this better than literally anything else)

-anyways i am looking forward to a translation of sals scenes (a bad, inaccurate, clunky, hamfisted translation but a translation nonetheless) even tho i will cry during reading it

There was kind of a lot of good and bad that happened today, so i think im going to split this post up into two bits.

The bad thing was actually just one really bad thing, that thing being the fact that my dAD TOOK ME TO A FUCKING CONVERSION SEMINAR WITHOUT TELLING ME

like. seriously?? i knew it was sketchy from the start

not telling me exactly what it was about, telling me it was about Christians and their “identity” like i should have seen this coming from a mile away but i gave him the benefit of the doubt

and the moment i stepped in i had a suspicion; from the way the lighting was set up to make everything seem dreamlike and surreal, to the way they clearly placed just a tiny bit of reverb on the speakers to make them seem more dramatic and larger than life

like thats so fake and bullshit like,, just give the sermon?

and then the second half started and they started playing the video

and dont ask me how i knew, because i knew the SECOND that video started what it was going to be about, and even though the first minute or so was unrelated, it immEDIATELY became about a transgender Christian story and i was just. oh hell fucking no i fucking called it

it was about this person who was abused as a child by his family and also later by his orphanage which is sad, yes, and he got addicted to sexual abuse because it was the only way he was able to feel loved, which is also, honestly terrible, and since he was mostly abused by males he ended up going through gender confusion, apparently

and he wound up transitioning and prostituting himself as a woman, which he says was out of survival

the guy in the video walks into the auditorium and he starts talking and honestly yes his life was terrible, but FUCK EVERYTHING HE WAS SAYING TO THE AUDIENCE

literally, him having transitioned as a result of gender confusion from sexual abuse DOESNT MAKE LITERALLY EVERY OTHER TRANS PERSON GENDER CONFUSED BECAUSE OF ABUSE

jesus christ where do i even BEGIN TO DESCRIBE TO YOU that YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO TRANSITION IN THE WORLD

your situation is unique! yes, and also tragic, but consequentially, NON RELEVANT! and you have just gone. and convinced every single adult and child in the room that THE ONLY POSSIBLE REASON SOMEONE MIGHT BE TRANS is because they “dont feel loved” or WHATTHEFUCKEVER

theyre going to think hes the only TRUE source. they wont listen to anyone else. their minds are set. ALL BECAUSE OF THIS ONE PERSON. who knows where else he’s spoken?? the impact he’s had?? if hed gotten to my dad before he found out i was trans, i wouldnt even be here.

and then during prayer he just starts spouting multi-religious bullshit like “i bind the spirit of confusion” like yo this isn’t wiccan dude if you’re going to claim it was christianity that “cured” you at least stick to one story holy fuck

if my dad makes me go to the part 2 tomorrow im going to try and jump out of the car and see if that makes him reconsider his actions

or not i guess since that would have consequences on people who i love but also i really want my dad to reconsider his actions and entire line of thinking and honestly things are only getting worse
