Fic: -and the literal dead character who can’t even eat or sleep or feel anything and is in eternal agony knew his friend had it worse than them, sure the friend was alive and depressed but being dead meant they weren’t suffering like their alive friend was who btw was also the reason they died slowly and painfully in the first place -
Dead character: -also feels guilty for blaming their friend for literally killing them even though they legit DIED because of them-
Me:
Me: no I’m sure the dead character has it worse.
#and ironically this isn’t even something I first saw in fnaf#it’s like wayyyy back from mystery skulls too#like yeah i get it you want them to get along#but boy 😭 they do not have it worse.#i legit stop reading mid sentence when it gets like that and look at the camera like in the office#so depression and guilt are bad yeah but eternal suffering in some sort of limbo is def worse#fnaf#msa#like don’t get me wrong I love reconciliation and angst and fluff#but =w= dont gaslight the literal victim please#AUGH#sorry yall I am sick for days and tired and stressed lmao

Man, today I want to rant about cringe culture. Im not gonna cover the points about children and neurodivergent people, those have been covered a million times already.
First of all, I want to preface this by saying I have always, ALWAYS been a very “cringey” person. My dynamic in all my relationships for as long as I can remember has been that I’m the “comic relief somewhat pathetic one” and that is self inflicted. My own mother told me that I was so obsessed with undertale that she “didn’t like talking to [me] and regrets not getting [me] tested for autism.”
I’ve been in countless cringe fandoms, including but not limited to mlp, fanfic/fandom culture, mha, animation memes, Henry stickmin, minecraft, Pokémon, the furry fandom, cosplay, sanders sides, dream smp, batim, Aphmau, and MANY others. Undertale has always been the really big thing for me, but recently fnaf has been the thing for me. Because of cringe culture, I hate myself for enjoying things. In order to talk about my interests, self deprecating ironic humor was super common from me.
This humor evolved from irony, to self deprivation, to despising myself for enjoying things considered “cringe” (example is Undertale, but many other things, too), all the way to feeling so much shame for liking anything at all that I distance myself from everything.
Genuinely, I had a meltdown because I like hollow knight. That isn’t even a “cringe” comunity!! It’s one of the chillest out there!!! And because I “like it too much” I made myself feel like shit preemptively.
This next section is a specific example, and this is a really difficult thing for me to admit candidly because of what I’ve already said.
I am in the gacha fnaf community. It’s something I enjoy, and I enjoy it separately from how i enjoy fnaf. SEPARATE FANDOMS, PEOPLE!! (Same with undertale and undertale aus, one is significantly less socially acceptable, and people leave it out of discussions in the other context, but not the other way around.)
I stumbled across a video by a large mainstream gachatuber focusing on and making fun of “gacha fnaf cringe”. All the clips shown were people self-insert shipping themselves with various aftons or animatronics. The only clip that wasn’t that formula, was a strange video about Ennard abusing Michael Afton. They didn’t even appear to be shipped together, it was just Mike getting beat up. Idk man.
After each clip, the YouTuber would say a snarky quip and move on, but the big thing that got to me was that they had never played fnaf, and had avoided it to the point that, on their entire time on the internet, never saw the purple guy sprite.
When someone made William a brunet man with glasses, the joke was about how “I did some research, and apparently William is just a purple blob. That’s not very close to the canon design, huh?”. When William was purple, the joke was about how “the designs are all so inconsistent in the whole community.”
This person but absolutely zero effort into research. At first that baffled me, but then I realized that it’s always true.
Have you ever met someone anti furry who’s given an accurate definition of what a furry even is? Probably not. Has anyone ever added any genuine commentary to a single cringe compilation, other than “wow that’s cringe, kys”??? Probably fucking not.
There are issues within the fnaf gacha community that (if any effort was used) they could have talked about, and had an insightful video. For example, plagiarism is rampant, and shipping in a fandom related to fnaf is inherently…. a very tricky subject, if you will.
Were either of those discussed? Nope. Just comments on how weird it is that William’s been called daddy in the fnaf games before. “Maybe that’s where they got these gross aus from” ((the alias is literally referring to William’s young daughter’s dialogue))
After seeing that bafflingly ignorant video, I went to their channel to see what other stuff they make. Many of the videos were along the lines of “reacting to [thing that is cringe] except I ROAST them!”.
It is truly so, so disgusting that cringe culture isn’t dead. Genuinely. I genuinely think it is the laziest form of content. It’s mean, and pathetic and honestly, what’s the point of it?
It’s not funny, it’s not insightful, it’s not kind, it’s just mean and quick.
Who do you think you’re helping?
#cringe culture#fandom culture#long post#cringe culture tw#tw selfhate#tw kys joke#cringe culture is stupid#cringe culture is lazy#oh I didn’t discuss it but#cringe culture is ableist#cringe culture is bullying#seriously what’s the point#be better

WHAT THE KARASUNO MEMBERS ARE AFRAID OF
hi everybody! i’m back again with some headcanons of what i think our karasuno members are afraid of! i’ve had these in the back of my mind for a while so i’m finally sharing them lol- hope you enjoy! also sorry- there might be spelling errors i didn’t do a thorough check.
TSUKISHIMA KEI
i feel like he’s is afraid if rollercoasters, ones with large drops specifically
Like if you ask him if he wants to get on the drop tower with you, he would refuse. it’s an automatic “no.”
He CAN be peer pressured onto getting on a coaster though
but if you do manage to get him on one he’ll be sick for the rest of the day so proceed with caution
YAMAGUCHI TADASHI
yamaguchi is 100% TERRIFIED of spiders
when he were to see something like a wolf spider he’ll would scream and probably run
If he ever saw a tarantula he might just pass out
He would even be freaked out by a rubber spider AFTER he knew it was fake 😭
Saw a HUGE one on the wall when he was home alone and the first thing he did was call tsukishima and ask him how he should get rid of it
of course he teased him but he did actually end up helping him
HINATA SHOYO
clowns lol
When he was small his mom took him to the circus and that’s where the fear originated-
Watched IT because he thought he could handle it and hasn’t been the same since
When killer clowns were trending best believe he was on edge at all times
saw a clown during halloween and FROZE in terror
KAGEYAMA TOBIO
JUMPSCARES (same dude)
Yeah he seems tough n all but all you gotta do is show this guy a jump scare compilation and he’ll be flinching and yelping at every single one
you’d think he would expect it after a while but nO
Tried to play FNAF but you can imagine how that turned out
lasted five minutes
YACHI HITOKA
poor girl is afraid of literally everything but if i had to narrow it down i would say the dark and creepy noises
she’s always the last one to fall asleep at a sleepover because the room is pitch black and she keeps “hearing” things
she’ll be on edge for most of the night
once she does try and fall asleep she keeps imagining things
TANAKA RYUUNOSUKE
GHOSTS AHAHA
okay YES he does realize that they aren’t real and they can’t hurt him
but saeko used to tell him scary stories as a child to freak him out and those have stuck with him to this day
if someone even mentions the word around him he’s already walking the other way trying to get out of this conversation
NISHINOYA YUU
Dolls.
this man has seen WAY to many movies to be dumb enough to be near an antique doll of any sort
thinks they’re the creepiest thing to like ever exist
don’t even try to get him to watch annabelle, because it ain’t gonna happen
again like tanaka, if he sees one he’s sprinting the other way
SUGAWARA KOUSHI
(this one is based off of me and all of the info here is true)
Heights
really strange because he’ll get on literally the tallest roller coaster and be like “oh that? yeah no problem let’s do it” but he can’t even stand on the ledge of some stairs without stumbling back
you know those ladders that only have like three steps? he cant even get on those without trembling
don’t even think about having him change a lightbulb because if he has to get on an actual ladder he is OUTT
Like tsukishima, would rather die than get on a drop tower
DAICHI SAWAMURA
The ocean
idk it just doesn’t sit right w him that it’s just a large body of water that he can’t see through
like who knows that type of creatures are lurking below the surface
If he goes to the beach he’ll swim sure but don’t expect him to go super far out
Doesn’t help that he watched a documentary about it
ASAHI AZUMANE
Like yachi, he fears a lot but one of his biggest ones are bears, which is kinda ironic to me considering he reminds me of a big bear
The fact that they can become so big when standing on their hind legs freaks him out
also doesn’t like that despite how big they are they’re still super fast
KIYOKO SHIMIZU
Nothing. She fears NOTHING.
nah i’m jk she hates centipedes
if she sees a huge centipede she’s definitely slowly backing up trying not to scream
but honestly who isn’t afraid of those things they have wayyyy too many legs
heyyyy hope you enjoyed! tried to get these as accurate as possible, or at least from my thinking. but i’m very tired as it is 12:15am so i’m gonna hop off. see you next time!

Tagged by @takran Rules: Tell me your favorite character from 10 fictional works (shows, movies, novels, etc.) and tag 10 people!
THESE ARE GONNA BE IN NO ORDER except for the first one because it's always a thing. Kek.
1. Liam Tsaavik (Sarah made him!) - Okay so why do I keep mentioning this random ass OC that belongs to my roommate? First off, I mean, he's really muscular and handsome so :x Anyway. His story involves a lot of change. Liam came from a family of 15 children, and growing when he left, sold himself to the army as was the norm on his planet, and loved killing people. He was a guy who was violent and quite frankly an asshole, and then he ended up as a wanted man, he fled to Pandora, and continued his rather immoral ways. When he heard about hunting a Siren he went for it just so he could fight one, and thought constantly about killing the shit out of one like he was hunting for a trophy. Then he saw Vira and his whole life changed at that exact moment. Sure, he was still an asshole, and actually still IS an asshole, but he ended up undergoing a shitload of character development. He had a teeny Siren with him to help him get past his life of being treated as property, and help him through his episodes of PTSD, and now he had a conscience. He changed, even though he retains his dark past and disfunctional moral compass. He even still feels better when someone orders him around. He's just such a broken man, but he's covered in little pieces of scotch tape his his Siren has put on him. He is fucking awesome. SO EVERYONE READ MY FUCKING WEBCOMIC
2. Weaver (Dota2) - Weaver is/was my main character when I played Dota. Weaver was also my first SUCCESSFUL hero, and I learned how to play her from a boyfriend at the time (now ex). Playing Weaver unlike anyone else made for some amazing memories, and I will always cherish that little bug. Not to mention her lore is awesome! She's one of the creatures that weaves the fabric of existence. She decided to make her own things, and so she got banished to another dimension. But she was cool with it, because now she gets to make whatever she fuckin wants!
3. Junkrat (Overwatch) - I love Junkrat's play style, I love his aesthetic, and I love that he's the token kooky crazy character, but DONE WELL. He's so fun to play and watch. I love my trash baby.
4. Lucas (Mother 2) - Okay. Lucas. Lucas could be the most tragic character ever. He was a twin, a very young one at that, who lost his entire family. SPOILER FOR MOTHER 3 He lost his mother first, who died to creatures that he knew to be family friends. Then his father entered a horrible depression and hell, even ended up in jail once. And then he learns that the enemy he's been fighting all this time was his long lost brother, who dies at his hands. Lucas. Is. Tragic. But throughout ALL of this, the little guy manages to stay strong and develop his PSI power. He's a selfless fucking HERO and he lead a team of misfits to saving the god damn world because it was simply the right thing to do. He suffered for EVERYONE and asked for nothing in return. Lucas is my fucking baby.
5. Razputin (Psychonauts) - Raz is adorable. He's a powerful psychic and wants nothing more than to be trained. He wants to work hard. He wants to help people. He's just a good fucking guy. He goes through all this trouble to save his friends, the world, and then we learn that he needs to save himself. Through being open and understanding of people with mental illness, he helps them recover by defeating their inner demons. He's altruistic. I love Raz.
6. Luke. Fucking. Skywalker. (Star Wars) - Luke starts out as a KID. Maybe not the youngest, but he still had action figures and dreams of being able to go to school with his friends and do something with himself. He doesn't want to be a water farmer. The poor boy loses his aunt and uncle, then he loses his first master, he loses his second master, he has to save Han, he has to save Leia, he has to fight his own father. I LOVE Luke. I always have. He's a beautiful character in a beautiful story about becoming a man, making friends, fighting for what's right, and helping others.
7. Link (Breath of the Wild) Like Luke, Raz, Lucas, pretty much everyone I love, I love Link for being the hero that gives up everything to save everyone else. I like that trope, I guess. I love that everything is shit and everyone treats him like shit at some point but he never quits. He's also fucking adorable when he shivers and he has an amazing body, soooo. (SIDON TOO OMFG)
8. Mae (Night in the Woods) - Mae is the representation of my generation. In a way. She had something that EVERYONE can relate to, whether it be not knowing what to say to a friend, or being awkward around people, or wanting to get into trouble, or in my case, mental illness and dissociation. Mae isn't a hero. Arguably, she isn't even a good person. But somehow, she manages to wake up every day and go to bed every night. And I find that inspirational, as someone who dreams about accidentally getting hit by a car and dying prematurely. I need characters like Mae.
9. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Marvel) - I love Tony because he's an asshole. He's a narcissistic fuckhead, he doesn't take things seriously very often, and he is just...such a bastard. I love him. He's also smart, talented, educated, whathaveyou, and he uses his abilites and his money for good. I love that he's so chaotic good. He has issues just like everyone else that humanize him, and he understands how difficult he can be sometimes. He's just a good dude and I love him.
10. Rocket Raccoon (Guardians of the Galaxy) - Similar reason to Tony! He's an asshole, who somehow manages to do the right thing. Plus he has a Groot. Who doesn't love Groot? He's uh...ahem. Kinda cute too. He's so teeny. But so badass!
also
Max (Mad Max: Fury Road) - Strong silent type. Hot as hell. Weird things happen to him, he just rolls with it. Does the right thing. I love him. Marry me. Plz.
Nala (The Lion King) - Nala is a badass. She is soooo fucking cool. Even as a cub she could fight better than Simba, and as an adult she kicks so much ass. She leaves her pride behind to find help, probably breaking her own heart in the process. And she just. She kicks the shit out of Simba. And she's his voice of reason when she's Queen. I just LOVE Nala.
Samurai Jack - I've been going through this series lately and I have to say, I love Jack. He is so selfless. He will stop everything he is doing to help someone out, just because they need it. He shares his food with the hungry. He takes off his clothes like, a LOT. He's good people.
Zuko and Uncle Iroh (Avatar: TLA) - I can't even fucking describe these two someone hold me
This list is getting too long.
Also the Walrider from Outlast, Jane Doe from The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Kappa from Sunshine, Frankenstein from Death Race 2000, Hermione from Harry Potter, Springtrip from FNAF, there's too fucking many someone stop me
