I rarely see anyone argue that Valentino beat Jorge and Casey solely because he played mind games better. In fact, when it comes to discussing the "best" or "greatest" riders in MotoGP history, most wouldn't choose among the Fantastic Four or between Vale and Marc. There's only one name as the answer: Valentino Rossi.

the Grand Prix revolves around Valentino so much that all positive "most..." descriptors are given to him. Whereas Marc is burdened by a certain narrative, people will say he's talented, aggressive, but... always followed by a "but."

Ok maybe this is region bias so its my fault but cause im from mexcio most of the content im comsume is in spanish and the spanish media (sometimes I will cacht podcast in inglish but i dont follow inglish jurnos or cominuty) most of the comuntity in spanish then to have that perception that the reason valentino won was cause he was more savyge than his rivals and mind games etc im sure marc in italian or or inglish gets that same treatmet but for what i comsume the narrative is that vale is a great rider one of the best but never as talented as talented as marc or casey( and nos even media you get riders saying that casey, old rides like giacomo etc)
