It was the beginning of December, the first snow had fallen in England by now. It was cold enough to keep a fire going all day and into the night, and that's just what was happening at the house. All the boys were home except for Razzle, who would be home shortly after running to the store (everyone had drawn straws because the fridge was empty and no one wanted to go out). The tv was on downstairs, along with the festive string lights that were wrapped along the railing and the fire, it was the only light on. Everyone was quietly sitting or lying around, for once the house was peaceful. Razzle came through the door with a case of beer and grocery bags and the place lit up. "You sure, love?" He asked in a caring voice. You nodded, smiling genuinely. He reciprocated your nod and pulled you into another bear hug that lasted minutes. The others were still clawing at the groceries like hyenas. You let go of the hug and started walking towards the stairs, and realized he was following behind you. You turned around and tilted your head at him.

"What? I'm coming too." He chuckled. You smiled at his sweetness and walked up the stairs, waving goodnight to the boys. Raz grabbed you from behind and carried you to the bed, shutting the door of your shared bedroom. He lifted the covers up and motioned for you to get under them. Soon you were both deep under layers of blankets, wrapped up in each other. You laid your head on his chest and snuggled into him while he gently kissed the top of your head and played with the ends of your hair. After a while the both of you started to nod off, after you watched shaddows pass your closed door, the chatter from downstairs subside, and lights shut off gradually, you fell asleep to the sound of Razzle's heartbeat.

Short tutorial on how i put textures on glass TS3

So i was thinking a wile back this might help some creators/converters when it comes to glass textures well in this tutorial im gone convert a object with a glass object and texture on it

Step 1:

okay so this is the object i gone convert yours might be different ofc but you see the object of mine has 2 textures. Texture one for me has the small object on the bords textures like the cookies and spoon exsport it! and texture 2 has the glass objects texture as shown in the image bellow

Export it aswell just as it is! note some objects textures might be just one texture but its okay! just exsport and work with it! :)

STEP 2:

After you exsported your mesh from S4S (sims 4 studio) open it in blender

it will look like this ones it in blender now what i gone do is find the glass part of the object and duplicate it now you can export it out of blender ;)

STEP 3:

Now open TSRW

So sins this is a small decor object i gone use a plant mesh as my reference but we need a specific one so the mesh looks fine in game with its glass texture

pick the refence plant called Sculpture atrium fern i recommend using this as a reference when making small decor when having a glass mesh in the object

now it has 3 groups group 0 (shaddow map) group 1 (glass group) group 2 ( and the other parts of the mesh thats not glass)

now i normally delete my shadow group sins i dont use it with my cc but you dont have to if you dont want to

now sins i deleted my group 0 i have no shadow group and only 2 groups is left now its group 0 (glass group) group 1 ( and the other parts of the mesh thats not glass)

i am gone duplicate group 1 and now i will have 3 groups and remember to rename the 3rd group as 'group 2" and as you remember you made 3 groups in blender where there was only 2 groups before sometimes there is more depends really but for me there was 2 groups of meshes now there is 3 after i duplicated the glass mesh remember to rename the 3rd group as 'group 2"

export your mesh as a .wso object!

STEP 4:

Open milkshape and import your mesh you just exported out tsrw

your mesh will now look like this delete all the groups and you will see the blue bubble thing well thats a bone that will not be deleted go to the joints tab and you will see this

some numbers thats just the bone name if im right DONT MESS WITH IT keep it as it is just click on 'draw vertices with bone colors' thic the box next to it and it will turn blue :) NOW you can import you mesh you exported from blender that is a ,obj file

now you can check what mesh you are on by just pressing select on the group and it will turn red in the 3d view

like i can see im on on of the glass parts now but aside from that now its time for renaming

simple just rename them as this :) after that click on Edit>Select All and you will see all your meshes has turned red in the 3d windows

like this and go back to joints tab and click on assign your mesh will turn yellow now thats good! that means you have done good so far :D and you have done it right!

now you can export your mesh out as a .wso object

STEP 5:

Now go back to TSRW and now you almost done yay!

After you imported you mesh just import your textures as normal

might look weird but we gone fix that!

now go back to the mesh tab and click on group 0 and click on the 3 little dots next to materials

click on the arrow down by diffuse and change the numbers to "65,65,64,100" in the little boxes as show below

click done and if there comes a pop up just click on yes

but then you see nothing has changed dont worry its only the glass texture you fixed we gone add the texture on the glass now

now click on group 1 and then on the 3 dots again

this will open click on where there stand phong and a menu will drop down here is a tutorial where i showed how to add 2 textures on a mesh but i will show you here anyway aswell

click on the drop down and click on phong alpha and a pop up will appear and click yes, click on phong alpha again and change it back to phong and click yes

it will look like this and delete alpha map, ambient occlusion map,dirt overlay,normal map and sparkle cube now click on diffuse map>edit and import the texture thats gone be on the glass

and when thats done click done and 2 pop ups will appear just click yes to both

and now it will look like this!

perfect!!

the same needs to be done for medium level of detail Now test it in game to see how it looks!

this is mine in game not gone lie its not looking perfect but i gone fix that latter but the glass next to it was also made this way and it come out perfect ;)

First day: Light and Shaddow.

I wanted to create two characters that will appear through this challenge! And since the theme of first day was light and shaddow, i wanted to make characters that seem polar opposites, but complement each other!

Light; Is Helle who is a alien kind of thing that landed on earth in a meteor.

Shaddow: Is Nova, who is serious kid, who loves space very very much!

Despite the differences they have, they become friends and also relate on things like: missing family! Novas mom is an austronaut who is in a space mission. And Helle misses their siblings in space :(

My Tiana's bayou adventure fix

I was looking forward for the ride retheme. In my opinion it had a lot of potential. Disney posted the POV of the disney world ride today and there is some impressive animatronics especially tiana, louie and Mama Odie and i really like the shrink down portion besides the screens(wish it was at least 2d animation but unfortunally 3d animation for 2d characters seems to be the normal for the company it is even in fantasy springs). Unfortunally there is a lot of dead space where there is only plants. I think Disney should see if they could dress the set up better where there is only plants. But the ride also lacks conflict. Here how i would fix it:

Bring back the shadow man. I know the ride is post movie i'm not actually talking about Dr. Faciller. I'm talking about his friends on the other side. They could try to take us leading to the drop while singing a version of friends on the other side especially the "Are you reaaady?" Part. Until we can escape in the drop.

The shaddows appear on the movie and have very interessing visuals

In fact they chase Tiana Naveen and their friends in the swamp in the movie and that is what im proposing they do during the ride.

This could also help with the empty scenes before in the attraction shaddows would start to acting up at first subtle than becoming worse during the attraction until they full reveal their intent Mama Odie could then make us small to escape their first attempt.

Leading to the big drop the neon visuals from friends on the other side would start and we could incorporate some of the doctor faciller masks and visuals too like the Green magic.

Tiana could warn us before that there were dark forces in the swamp to prepare us before hand maybe to have a justification for the Bayou "mountain" it could be implied that the "friends on the other side" and Mama Odie are fighting each other with their magic and affecting the enviroment around them to justify the modifications in the Bayou. (Mama Odie transformed Juju into a bunch of different animals if i remember not always on purpose and something kinda similar happened on the fight between Merlin and Madame Mim)

For my intervention we would need projection mapping for the shaddows, more set pieces, small lights to simulate the fireflies in other parts of the ride to have more things, more simple animatronics like the bandmates, record some new voice lines for Tiana, Louie and Mama Odie, record some voice lines for the friends on the other side, record/remix a new version of friends on the other side and some brand new animatronics of the friends on the other side masks and maybe reajust some of the animation on Tiana animatronic face( but we have empty spaces to add lines to her maybe with a bit of creativity and more set dressing maybe put her own shadow at some point to represent her we could get away without touching the animatronics already there maybe)

later that night after nova and valdederon lay down in a warm volcanic and fall asleep a dak presance enters valdederons mind cakiling in the shaddows of his darker memories. valdederon steps up walking around in his own mind.

valdederon-- i dont know who or what you are but i can garuntee ill continue beeing a thorn in your side. your not a demon id sense it if you were but your evil perhaps even more evil then most demons hell makes me regret my rampage back in my previous life. ive got blood on my hands possibly even innocent blood. but ill be damed if i let my family suffer, give your worst creature if you are the cause of novas kidnapping youve probably seen first hand the depths of my rage and my power.

valdederon stares out into the now blank white dream scape as a evrry ill looking cresellia appears infront of him kisseing his fore head to bestow a blessing before he wakes up panting the morning sun just barely inching its way above the mountains in the distance. while collecting him self he looks up at the sky and puts his right hand paw on his face with a heavy sigh.

valdederon rubs her back softly and sets a pile of berries on the floor and heads out side and begins violently attacking the side of a large rock formation for hours nova soon yelping to the sound of a deafening explosion followed by falling rubble and valdederon coming in from a dust cloud furr soaked with sweat and he sits down nova peaking out to see the once large rock formation solid granite and difficult to break even for most stealix a pile of rubble and puddle of bubbling glowing orange molten goop.

her ghostly visage vanishes before he can respond and he sights looking at old repairs in the training room before heading to the mess hall. while in the cold silence contiues emphasizing just how much valdederons presence changed the guild.

the next day arives when valdederon walks in with a verry tired and cranky nova and the guild explodes into celebration startling the cranky aura doggo.

This is why i waited until I was let go. I needed the unemployment benefits and the good terms with many horizontal-level staff. I worked almost a year and a half at my first department, transfered to my seccond as an offer to fill in for a pregnant coworker, and then the quiet death transfer.

My transfer to a different department started by having an email from my new super to start shadowing a coworker. Two days of this... Then there were no morning task emails, no check-ins. One day I reviewed no instruction whatsoever. I walked to my desk and sat down, and waited, checking my emails and work chat. Nothing. The whole day. I eventually just sat next to someone else and asked if I could "shadow them by just watching" and thats what I did. We talked about our lives. I found out they had a snake in a too-smallish emergency enclosure that they had rescued from an abusive owner (kept in a shoebox under the bed). I mentioned I had a 40gal fish tank I needed to get rid of. They wanted it, and I said I would bring it the next workday after the weekend.

I showed up Monday. Did the same thing, received no messages, no emails. I shaddowed until about 11am. Then HR called me in to the office. After the conversation, where the only other person in the room, the lead rep, didn't make eye contact the whole time, I went back up. Packed up my entire desk into my backpack quietly. And asked the employee to help me unload the tank from my trunk to theirs. We did so.

I went back in, in to my old department, and gave my goodbye card to my old super. I had written it when I was transfered, and forgot to give it months ago. Uncinscious-me was saving it for the right time, I guess.

Yes, the company is downsizing because it is failing. Yes, it was in shambles before it was failing. And yes. It was all completely intentional. And I will still milk every last drop of goodwill, luck, and references from its rotten tits. I will metabolize the two years I spent there into something im proud of shitting out.

However, employers push employees out all the time to maintain and protect the, “We didn’t do anything wrong, YOU did,” power structure.

Constructive Discharge looks like this:

— Meeting invitations slow to a trickle, and you’re excluded from emails and generally looped out of what’s going on.

— People stop talking to you or stop talking when you walk in.

— Your emails don’t get answers, or they arrive too late to be of value.

— Suddenly, your work is not good enough, though nothing about your work has changed.

— Reviews, once good or even glowing, are now mediocre or bad.

— Instead of a bonus, you get a Performance Improvement Plan.

— Warnings and write-ups start so they can justify your eventual termination with documentation of your “poor performance”

— Your work, clients, assignments go away, or they overwhelm you with work.

— The words “Set up to fail” were practically invented to describe this scenario.

Constructive Discharge is illegal

It isn’t easy to prove you’re a target, and it’s even more challenging if you don’t even know constructive discharge is a real thing.

If you’ve ever experienced this and don’t fully understand what’s happening to you beyond knowing you’re in the process of being excommunicated, it can be hell. It’s not uncommon for the experience to leave long-lasting scars.

You’re not crazy, incompetent, or a failure. This is real and it’s carefully executed to leave you holding the bag and feeling like you did something wrong.

If they force you out, in addition to feeling horrible, you lose your paycheck, benefits health insurance, and possibly owe them money.
