I know you're a Dark Souls 2 enjoyer so I'm curious if you can answer this question for me.

What is your opinion on the differences between the original DS2 and the Scholar of the First Sin edition? I'm mostly just curious because I myself avoided the latter due to hearing about how unbalanced the difficulty curve is in Scholar compared to the original, and I imagine the debate between which version is better is still a hot topic amongst DS2 fans...

HAHA well ive only played SotFS edition myself, so i can’t give a COMPLETE judgement, but… far as i know the biggest differences are 90% some enemy placements, 10% more branches of yore

and honestly? i hadn’t really had much trouble. like i did, a lot, but pretty much just par the course of usual souls games, and im 90% of the way through (still unfinished whoops)

but nah i got there without any cheats or cheeses, and when an area REALLY had me through the wringer, i would literally just. go through the whole map far as possible. killing enemies again and again. until they wouldnt respawn… HAHA

which is sometimes a mechanic i have found myself earnestly missing elsewhere. but nah, im mediocre at souls but still made it through pretty alright, even just running out of effigies by throne watcher/defender

speaking of steam i brought it up to my wife how upset i am abt playstation store only having scholar of the first sin edition for ps4 bc i hate scholar of the first sin it sucks and she was like. ok well play it on pc then you can get regular ds2. but im scared for my poor computers life she fucking tries to kill herself when i play insaniquarium tank 4 and my guppies are out of control

For music... thats a hard one for me. I listen to a ton of different genres. For metal, i listen to both Babymetal and Marilyn Manson. Jazz, i listen to Tony Bennett. Indie, i like Billie Eilish, Jay Som, Japanese Breakfast, Mitski, and King Krule. Pop, of course i gotta blast my Lady Gaga. I listen to a ton of other music, but dont know the names of the artists: Russian indie rap, kpop, classical spanish guitar pieces, ton of ochestral stuff, and french pop.

I know im a basic bitch when it comes to movies, but i absolutely love Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Same for books too.

More books i like... Enders Game is one of them, and I also really liked The Silmarillion. There was a book called “The Rangers Apprentice” i think that i adored.

For TV, i dont watch much of it. I liked Queer Eye, Bomb Girls, and The Office. I really like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Regular Show.

Oh boy, i am a nerd for videos. Been playing them ever since I could speak practically. Fucking love the Dark Souls games (ive completed both dark souls scholar of the first sin edition and dark souls 3). Skyrim ive played 7 times through with all the dlcs. Fallout 4 is fantastic. I love Assassins Creed, and would die for Odyssey. Life is Strange ruined me then salvaged my soul. Borderlands owns me. Both Destiny games were probably my favorite online shooters. The Long Dark is really fun... dude thats a hard question for me.

Hi! Its me Eavoff again. I took a break from posting on my blog for only a few days, since all these memories are coming back and it sucks. Anyways, i just wanted to not spread hatred for once and have a question. What are some things that make you happy? Favorite music, movies, shows, booms, etc. Sorry it’s not the usual stuff i ask, but i wanted to take a one time break off of hating regurgitate.

So my favorite music, right now I’m super into Game of Thrones and Skyrim fan songs. But my favorite band is Marianas Trench, they are this amazing Canadian band that honestly need more love. And my favorite song by them is “Who Do You Love” which is about loving yourself enough to make sure you are okay and to pull yourself out of your depression because you are worth it. Honestly all of their albums are amazing and their newest is like a rock opera.

My favorite movie has to be Labyrinth with David Bowie, fun fact, David Bowie as the Goblin King was my first ever crush and celebrity crush. My next two favorites are The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Pan’s Labyrinth. Great movies, check them out if you haven’t.

Um, I don’t really watch much tv. Game of Thrones is one though (though this season is a little touch and go for me), I like medical dramas like The Resident and The Good Doctor. Um one of my all time favorite shows is Shinzo, which is apparently such an obscure anime I can’t find a DVD for it online even though I can find it on YouTube.

My favorite book series is the House of Night series by P.C Cast. It’s set in my home state and it makes me so happy when she references places I know. And I can not wait for the movie!

My favorite games are the Witcher 3, Skyrim and the new Spiderman game. Then my favorite mobile game is Food Fantasy, my husbentos are life lol.

My Dark Souls 2 character from a while back. Never did a proper piece of her. Still technically isn't one, since I'm calling this done way before I feel like I should, but I don't have the time to sink into it like I did my DS3 character pic~ I'm such an outlier - Dark Souls 2 is actually my favorite of the 3 games. I find DS1's controls janky and unplayable (at least on PC, and I know there's fixes. They made my camera spazz out instead...) and DS3 is too... derivative. 3 definitely has the best controls for the series and was fun to play but I just... cant care about anything actually happening in the game? 2 may be weird and disconnected but I actually gave a damn about so many of the little side stories and the DLC was entirely awesome... probably helps that I got the Scholar of the First Sin edition and never played the original~ So I saw Extra Credit's summary video of their DS2 playthrough and it got me all nostalgic and kinda wanting to play through it again. Which is funny, because not even the DLC has made me pick 3 back up lol. IM WEIRD I KNOW WHATEVER DS2 FOREVER!
