thinking about jinx and how this really was the only ending for her.

she tried to be the villain and she tried being good, but isha dies and death follows her like the name she’s cursed with.

thinking about jinx and how she locks vi away in that cage and tells her not to worry, not to follow. to really try and be happy without her, because she knows vi deserves it but never will be. not so long as she lives.

she knows her continued existence pulls at vi’s heartstrings and activates this need to chase. to protect her from herself. so jinx frees her from this burden, this instinct to save her, save her, save her—because they’re all grown up now and vi can’t do this for the rest of her life. she can’t always be the one responsible for talking her off that ledge. as much as vi wants her love to save jinx, their love is muddled and doomed, in every dimension and every universe.

vi was never meant to save her. it’s something jinx has to do. it’s a choice she has to make.

but she was never strong like vi. so she holds the monkey bomb to bring peace to everything. to piltover and zaun, to violet and ekko. but she can delay the inevitable if ekko asks, if he says she has a chance to fix something. to help violet now that she needs her.

thinking about how jinx never believed she was a hero. but she decides that if she must die, it’ll be to save violet. to finally put her father to rest. it’ll be to protect the sister that has always fought to protect her.

this one act of love that proves to vi that she was worth saving, while also freeing her from everything holding her down.

and then at the last moment (as its heavily implied) jinx chooses to live. she escapes the explosion. she chooses not to give up but to break the cycle, by leaving these nightmares and triggers—and the one face she can’t bear to hurt anymore.

she’s not powder anymore. but so long as vi lives, she’s not jinx. she can break the curse of jinx by allowing vi to live, untethered. freeing her from the guilt and the pain, because it’s all she can do. for now.

they’ll always be sisters, worlds away, but they’ll never be together 💔 now that’s a doomed love story

the trio seeing his bruises when he was a kid and him lying by telling them that he got them from training, him growing up with a sreng's kid sent as a prisoner of war who left him as soon as he could, him telling that the other kids always tried to beat him up when he was a kid, him helping rodrigue do the paperwork when Dimitri was out in that shez&Dimitri support, him never putting himself first (miklan ; in their support Felix tells him that he is as important as him), him trying to create a weapon that everybody could use to defend themselves in that shez support, Dimitri/Felix/Shez/Yuri praising him and his intelligence, him willing to spend a lifetime looking for peace with sreng which leads to his father calling him naive the same world he used for Lambert once
