advance beyond ao3 learn to make your fics have multiple choice. engage your audience like this

you know whats amazing about twine is that i can just use this to write my fics and then just force people to download my hypertext fics directly onto their computer. ao3 who? you will play the text adventure about my azem directly in your browser

#something i notice with fics that people tend to forget is you need to leave out information that the audience can decipher #like saying someone is going by the fire to warm their freezing hands because they were outside in the snow? stop that #just say they ran to the fire to hold their fingers to the flame slowly feeling the blood return its flow back to them #anyway. im taking this to the extreme by making the audience decide which informations are more important to them in the text #like Is hermes hearing what he teacher has to say important? or do we just want to directly start snooping #and with snooping involves distraction meaning he will not hear what the teacher says #and if the chatacter were following doesnt hear that information then why should we #and well if you wanna hear that info go take that route and ignore the shadow darting between the trees #this is my thought process
