Wish there was a way to begin to explain what happened tonight during stream because there’s some kind of gold in Jim thinking that Riddler is fairy (like tinkerbell) but everyone else just thinks he’s calling Ed a slur and the pipeline it leads down, connecting to Bruce thinking babies come from kissing, all the way to Jim asking Ed and Oswald if Tim was “their fairy baby and Tim telling Steph “I think Jim just called me a fairy.” Steph: “sorry you had to find out this way, but we all kind of knew.”

weird question. but in ur opinion, what major would tim do at college? I was thinking comp sci but making him a business major would be so funny

good question! to be honest.. i want to say it’s difficult to pin down any one major he’d choose, especially because i feel like he’s not exactly academically inclined, at least if he’s doing vigilante stuff? school was always a big issue for him hence him dropping out to focus on The Mission and that seems like All He Is Doing right now thank you dc editorial. but if he isn’t… comp sci is a good choice but for me, i lean towards maybe something like mechanical engineering? or electrical engineering? kinda feel like he has comp sci in the bag already from having to learn it/having learned it in his time as a vigilante (largely due to babs im sure!)

but mechanical or electrical engineering just because of how much stuff he created for his suit when he was robin and how he was always reconfiguring redbird and messing with all of it. although where those skills and that degree could be applied is Another Question Entirely. my best guess is — and this is probably super basic — with WE? or maybe if we want to have a little fun. somewhere like kord industries. or even STAR labs. or maybe a teaching position? could see him being down for that as he gets older

a little more indulgent would be photography but even if not a major i would like to think he at least minors in it or something!

Slightly very horrible thought came with the "Cass wondering if she should re murder some corpses or hug her girlfriend or both" tag (the answer is both, Cass. Hug first, though) :

What if (in the village or upon hiring a new maid) Cass realizes she looks like how Melony describes her mother?

What if ... She leaves this woman chained in the basement, and offers Melony a chance to "work out some trauma/frustrations"?

What if... It IS her mother?

(Now obviously this is very dark and would probably leave Melony more traumatized and horrified than anything, but still... Wanted to share that "what if?" With you)

YOUR M I N D, MY FRIEND, I love this for the pure angst of it all.

Especially thinking of this from Melony's perspective, because as far as she's aware, her mother is dead. From how Max talks about the Lycan Slaughter, and general common sense, it's incredibly unlikely her mom would have lived. And she's fine with that. She never even considers that her mom could be alive.

And then Cassandra comes up to her one day and is like "I wanna show you something!" And brings Melony into the dungeon where she has this woman chained up and she's all "I know it's not really your thing but I also know you have a lot of pent up feelings so-" And Mel is really confused until she actually sees who this person is, and every bit of her suddenly goes cold.

She can recognize her mother right away, and vice versa apparently because she can see change of fear to confused to almost arngy on her mother's face. There's so many things she suddenly feels and she kind of drags Cassandra aside and asks "What the hell is this?" And Cass, with the best of intentions mind you, explains that this is Mel's chance. To get revenge, to give her mother some sort of reprimand for everything, for some sort of justice, something. "You can get even now, work some things out." It's clear Cass figured this would offer Mel some kind of catharsis.

And Melony is initially going to tell Cassandra to just get rid of her, but hesitates and thinks it over for a moment. Mel is not a violent person, but she so badly wants to understand the why and this is probably her only opportunity for that. So, while still kind of reluctant, instead of asking Cass to do something, she asks to be alone. "This is kind of personal." And Cass agrees and gives her a kiss and just lets her know she'll be right up stairs just in case.

And Cass has no clue what goes on after that. She waits near the top of the stairs for why could be well over an hour, suddenly second guessing her choices. There's no torturous screaming from either party, just a little too quiet, and she almost wants to go back down just to see what's going on.

When Mel does finally emerge, she looks... exhausted more than anything. No blood, like Cass might've expected, but her face is stained with tears and her breathing is ragged. She puts her face into Cass' side and mumbles something along the lines of "Make her go away." Like before, Cass agrees, but first it really seems like her girlfriend could do with a little emotional comfort.

Tim, thoughtful and ignoring Jason: hang on, he can't technically have them as favorite in-laws because they're part of the family. In that case, Bernard should win. He's smart, from Gotham and hasn't done anything bad ever.

Damian, still covered in feathers: that's debatable Drake, your boyfriend was in a cult. Plus Ortiz at least knows how to defuse bombs!

Duke, remembering his girlfriend was accused of being part of the Latin kings (and was part of We Are Robin): yeah, well, she's lovely but we don't need to get lost in the details

tim is on the thinnest ice for becoming a supervillain. the gotham rogues don’t know just how thin it is but they are well aware that out of all the bats (yes even the red hood, yk the crime lord) red robin is the one most likely to end up joining their rogue status.

most of the batfam are not aware of this, except for bruce, cass, damian, and jason.

cass knows just from watching him cause of course she does. she also found one of his Completely Normal And Not At All Supervillain-y Plans. she has him tell her the plans so he’s not spending weeks fleshing them out and it’s more like ranting to her. she does however keep an eye on him during his bad days cause some of those plans were concerning

damian was about to kill someone (very deserved, and also very early on in his career) and tim just drops down in front of him so damian is obviously thinking “oh shit he’s gonna tell them and i’ll be cast out of the family and oh god-“ and he just. “want me to help hide it or do you got it?” damian just blinks cause what. he thought tim was gonna be the most strict on the no kill rule

tim actually deliberately let jason know cause he pissed him off once (interrupted his nap). all he did was take over jason’s gang for a week, made it seem like he was red hood without jason knowing what was going on, make it better, and then insult jason and tell him how he could’ve done it EVEN BETTER but he just didn’t feel up to it. jason has both a newfound respect and fear of tim. he’s also a little salty about just how good tim ran his gang but that’s between him and the gods

bruce knows cause one time during tim as robin he rold bruce “if you kill anyone i WILL become a villain and you are NOT prepared.” and then forced bruce to go to sleep. bruce honestly isn’t 100% sure if that was a hallucination or not but he’s leaning to not. he also just doesn’t know what he can do about it cause that kid made him eat, sleep, shower, and take proper care of himself what’s he gonna do? bench him? bench the kid who benches batman once???

steph also learns but that’s cause she stumbled upon him literally about to take that step and instead of doing anything about it just called him edgy and that was enough to shock him back. she’s not gonna become one with tim but she jokes about them having a batman and catwoman relationship and that alone is keeping him from actually doing so

So in this prompt, Dani has an earth core. She’s getting used to using it, practicing almost daily when she’s alone.

Until one day, someone sees her.

Ra’s comes across a girl with incredible earth magic and kidnaps her, forcing her to teach his grandson Damian her magic.

Damian was only 4 to her 12, but he was liminal enough so that he could develop a core. A shadow core.

If Dani was honest, she didn’t hate her years with the LOA. Ra’s was a creep, but Talia treated and referee to her as a daughter. She knew the Leuage was bad news, but they gave her a home.

Damian was young, he didn’t understand blood relations in family. So when he saw his mother treat Dani like a daughter, he just assumed her was her sister and just never end mentioned his thoughts. After all, Mother never mentioned she before, so Damian thought he shouldn’t either.

Meeting his father only solidified his theory. Dani and Bruce look similar enough. He also never mentions another sister other than Cass.

It was only a couple years later that Damian’s magic is found out and her goes

Damian: I don’t know why you’re so surprised, your other daughter also has magic. Mother never has any so it must come from you

Everyone looks at Bruce: … your other WHAT??

Saw Back to Black (2024) tonight and I'm not going to lie to y'all. I actually quite enjoyed it like it was a decent film- not at all perfect and the most accurate or like. y'know. thing in the world obviously but I actually found it enjoyable for the most part

Also I saw it with my mum and she was sobbing literally five minutes in during that Fly Me To the Moon section
