└───────── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ─────────┘
   ─── ・°* ゚✧:* • 。゚:*・☽・*: 。゚•*:✧ ゚*°・ ───
🅃onight was the last night in the dorms. Three long years had come and went, and now everyone’s belongings were cleaned out and secured away with cardboard and tape, leaving an empty wing that was currently filled with bodies, neon lights, and red solo cups. Music was pounding through the hallways, reaching every room and allowing no one total escape from the celebration.
You had been occupying the dance floor with Mina and Tsuyu for the last half hour, and now that you had sweat off the latest drink of the night, it was time for you to set off and find your more moderate-tempered companion. The pink-skinned girl wiggled her eyebrows at you when you alerted them of where you were heading off to, Tsuyu planting a love tap on your ass as you made your way from the swarm of people. The frog girl wasn’t usually so loose, but the alcohol that pumped through everyone’s veins had left only a select few unaffected. Tsu, just like you, was one of the ones that was happily allowing the weight of daily student life slip from her shoulders.
There were plenties of warm bodies swaying with the heavy bass rattling the hallways, shadows of couples and interested singles leaning against the walls, whispers and rowdy laughs echoing as the entire graduating class of UA partied the night away. Skimming by the line outside the bathroom, your feet found their way toward the end of the hall easily enough, taking the path you had so many times before.
A creak sounded as you pushed the cracked door open, the sight of the open shoji screen allowing moonlight to stream onto the bamboo mat floor which crunched quietly underneath your tentative steps.
“Shouto?” you whispered his name, eyes taking in the silhouettes of the packed boxes against the walls before you turned and saw a shadow sitting on the mattress beside the door.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
Your voice jolted Shouto from his wandering thoughts, his attention turning to you right away. He seemed surprised to see you standing there, and he peered up at you from his slightly hunched position on the couch. He acknowledged you with your name, his voice low and steady. By the sound of it, you wondered briefly if he had even had a drop to drink tonight.
Blinking at him a few times, you tried to adjust your eyes to the contrast between the bright moonlight and dark shadows. When you could finally see the planes of his handsome, somber face, you spoke, trying your best not to slur. “What are you doing over here all by yourself?”
He paused, lagging for a second before the corners of his mouth curled and his eyes crinkled at the sight of you. “Just thinking,” he answered, examining you in that intrigued way he always did. After a moment he must have reached the conclusion that you were some level of smashed, for he patted the empty space next to him on the bed with a smirk and said, “Come sit with me.”
For a moment you wondered why he was alone, but then your brain caught up with you, and you realized that his other friends were probably busy with their own issues or endeavors. Ever since Midoriya finally grew a pair and asked Uraraka out, the two had been going at it like rabbits every spare second they had. And you could only imagine how busy Iida was as class rep, trying to keep the party at least a little bit under control. Momo was definitely helping him, and you had seen Bakugou begrudgingly holding Kaminari up with Kirishima under his other arm when you’d passed by them in the hall… Leaving only you to come and rouse the half and half hero from his solitude.
“Well that’s not allowed tonight!” You exclaimed, fist slapping against the side of your thigh. You would’ve used both hands for emphasis had the other not been occupied with a half-full plastic cup. Your legs felt like jello as you moved toward him, his cool hand wrapping around your arm to offer his support and steer you into the spot beside him. You almost fell but he held you up with the one arm, chuckling as your butt finally met the safety of the duvet.
“Thinking’s forbidden?” he laughed at your insistence, the sound rich and deep as his hand lingered on your wrist.
“Yes,” you nodded vehemently, pulling your hand away from his to cradle your precious cup and shooting him a playful, sideways glare.  “Brain turned off for the night. It’s in the fine print of the party rules, of course.”
Shouto gave you a funny look, eying you from the side. He repositioned himself, sitting upright and closing his eyes. It was hard for him to remain stoic when the quiet sound of your amused giggles tickled his ears, but he managed a nod before his eyes settled on you again. “Okay, I think it’s off.”
Conversation was always natural between the two of you, he never had to struggle to keep it flowing. And he liked talking with you, being in your presence. Which was the only reason why he was still entertaining this ridiculous charade.
“How do you feel?” you inquired, a goofy grin on your lips.
There was a twinkle in your eyes as you teased him, but Shouto held no qualms with your playfulness. Most people were still afraid to joke with him, believing that he was too obtuse to understand humor. Sure, he had struggled with the transition to school life in the beginning of their first year, but after you had transferred into their class second year, he found himself opening up even more than he already had.
“I feel… the same.” The grin on his lips remained, his eyes settled on your drunken form. His gaze flicked to your smile, shining in the moonlight and making something twinge in his stomach. He cleared his throat, pushing down the feeling that haunted him every time he looked at you too long. “This doesn’t really work, does it?”
You pretended to entertain the thought for a moment, eyes rolling as you considered it animatedly before your lips broke into a beautiful smile again. “No,” you giggled, shoulders shrugging in your cute, drunken fit. “But it’s easier when you’re not sober!”
He turned, faux surprise hung from his brow. “You’re drunk?” Sarcasm dripped from his voice and splashed onto you where his jean-clad thigh brushed against yours.
“Shut up!” You punched at his shoulder and pushed him away from you, shuffling yourself in the process.
Your hair swished with the movement and suddenly the soft, sweet scent of you was crashing over him. He breathed it in shamelessly, allowing himself to indulge in the warm feeling that suddenly emanated through his chest.
“You could try it, if you wanted. It really does help,” you offered your cup to him, shrugging.
Shouto eyed the red plastic cup, hesitant. He really wasn’t one to drink, but then again, neither were you. Tonight was about celebrating your graduation from UA, opening the next chapter of your lives. The thing was, he wasn’t sure if he was ready to move on when it meant leaving all his relationships either behind him or pushed to the side. Okay, maybe he was kidding himself… there was only one person he would miss having in his daily life, and that person was sitting right beside him— the same one who was the source of his conflicted feelings.
“Or not!” your hand retreated and you took a little sip, the sweet jungle juice washing down your throat easily. “No pressure. It’s your choice, Sho.”
He nearly groaned at the nickname, the one he only allowed you to call him. Grabbing the cup from you, his calloused fingers brushed over your soft knuckles. He smirked at the excitement that surfaced in your gaze as he brought the lip of the cup to his mouth, emptying the contents in one long go. The liquid was sickly sweet, masking the bitter poison that entered his body alongside it.
“That was… truly disgusting.”
“Whaaat?” You balked, grabbing for the cup in dismay. He kept it out of reach, even though it was empty, setting it on the far table instead. “It’s good, I dunno what you’re on. It’s really, really good. Heheh, just like me…”
Shouto blushed at the innocent innuendo, looking at you as you closed your eyes and let out a noise between a sigh and a laugh. He gulped, realizing that the alcohol was already taking effect and he was beginning to slip under its influence. Your method of “turning your brain off” was proving to be much more effective with the alcohol’s aid, but that was a whole other issue which he failed to foresee.
He usually preferred to keep his brain on and fully functioning, especially when he was alone, with you. That way, when you roused the butterflies in his stomach and pulled on his heartstrings, he could tell himself to just ignore it and focus on how important your friendship was to him. But now, his defenses were failing him, and there was nothing he could do to stop his heart from beating faster, palms getting clammier.
“You’re good?” he reiterated quietly, watching the way your tongue swiped across your lips, enchanted by it.
You chortled, finding the thought entertaining, apparently. “Yes! I feel really good right now.”
“Ah,” he murmured, sitting back and allowing the pillow he had propped up to sink around his form. “I feel... kinda good, too.”
A mix between a laugh and a scoff escaped you at his confession. “You feel something already, Sho? Wow, that’s so efficient.”
Shouto didn’t really know what you meant by that, but he only smiled softly at the happy look on your face. He closed his eyes and listened to the fast rush of blood in his ears, the feeling of warmth prickling at his skin. He wasn’t drunk, per se, but he felt a little lighter than usual.
You had said that drinking would turn his brain off, but it seemed only part of it wasn’t functioning. The other side of his mind was working overtime, much to his chagrin.
He was suddenly aware that this would be one of his last moments with you before everything would change. You were going to an internship not too far from his, only an hour away by train. But seeing you wouldn’t be nearly as easy as walking down the hallway… and it could only happen if the both of you found a time that worked and had the motivation to travel the distance to meet one another. He wasn’t sure if you wanted to do all that, just to see him.The realization hit him hard.
No more sneaking to one another’s room and having whispered, midnight conversations. No more studying together and simply being in your presence. No more opportunities to let his gaze linger on you longingly, nor chances for him to grab your hand when your knuckles brushed against his in the middle of your walks.
He felt sick at the thought of living without you. Maybe… maybe it was time for him to face his feelings head on. He had spent so long denying the recognition of them, the acceptance of them. The loss of you was imminent, unless he could finally force himself to say something, and it had to be soon.
As if you had picked up on his distress, you hummed quietly and shuffled closer to his side. His quirk spiked at the sudden proximity, heat flaring up as your head came to rest on his shoulder.
“I’m a sappy drunk, so I apologize for what I’m about to say,” you mumbled into his t-shirt, his skin prickling as your warm breath wandered through the seams and onto his skin.
He huffed out a laugh to ease your worries, but he stayed absolutely still, unwilling to move a muscle in case it would somehow scare your body off of his.
Then you whispered, “M’so lucky to have met you, Sho.”
Shouto choked on thin air, subtly wiping the moisture on his palms across the tops of his denim-covered thighs. Your scent surrounded him, and he couldn’t resist resting his head on top of yours, slowly breathing between your locks. “I… I feel the same, Y/n…”
It was quiet for another moment, his mind playing out a hundred ways to confess, trying to find the right words. Meanwhile, you were simply enjoying his reciprocation and the peacefulness of the quiet away from the party, completely unaware of his inner turmoil.
You sighed and he shivered as your breath scattered across his collarbone again, almost jumping when your fingers landed softly over his. How you remained so soft with their vigorous training, he had no clue. But your fingers felt so warm, so right lacing with his. His throat was thick with apprehension, a lump forming there as the seconds ticked by. It wasn’t often the two of you were sitting so close together, and he wondered if he was a piece of shit for thanking whatever God there was out there for you being kind of inebriated and so touchy right now.
Slowly, he turned to look at you, eyes wide and conflicted, taking in how truly astonishing your beauty was up close. You lifted your head from your perch on his shoulder, gaze locking with his before your lips curled into a meek smile. Digits tightening around his, you squeezed his hand and rubbed your thumb across his knuckles.
He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, screaming at him to do something— anything— whatever it took for him to just form the words and tell you that he was in love with—
“Thank you for being my best friend.”
—you… He blinked, the words registering.
You continued. “I know we’re moving away from each other, but I never wanna lose you. I cherish our friendship too much for that to happen, Shouto.”
Your words cut him.
Friends. Friendship.
His blood felt like it had frozen in his veins and he had become a statue, stock still as you carried on thoughtlessly, eyes now flickering over to the moon hung low in the indigo night sky.
“Please promise me that we'll never change. We might grow as people, but… our friendship will stay intact, right? I don’t wanna grow apart.”
It hurt.
Time had stopped and his lungs shriveled up, his body aching as if you had just lodged your knee straight into his ribs. His tongue tasted bitter suddenly, and he could almost hear the sound of his heart cracking.
But Shouto was good at hiding his emotions, years of compartmentalizing them giving him an edge that no one else he knew had. He kept his face neutral, even if it felt like he was withering and dying inside.
“I just… don’t ever wanna lose you.”
It was almost impossible to force his lips into a thin, hollow smile. But he managed, even if it felt like prying iron with a crowbar. He looked into your eyes and nodded.
He understood. To some extent, he truly understood.
“I don’t want to lose you either, Y/n... Don’t worry,” he took a deep breath, forcing the next words out even if he felt like he was about to be sick.
He cherished his bond with you too much to risk chancing it, confessing to you, and throwing it all away after your certain rejection.  He loved you too much to ever hurt you, and he was too selfish to let go of you, too. The only one that would suffer from this was him, and he was alarmingly alright with that.
If it meant that he got to hold onto you, even for just a little bit longer.
If it meant that you would be happy... Even if he wasn’t.
“We’ll always be friends... I promise.”

Pairing: uhhhh soo it can be Zuko x reader, buuut it’s pretty much Gaang x reader :) pairing can apply to everyone? idk
Warnings: Just some dizziness, sickness, fainting! Also please pretend that covid doesn’t exist here~
Word count: omg i wrote 2.5k words!
Summary: Y/N is very sick, but of course, she’s so stubborn that she still needs to help set up for Aang’s birthday party.
Tumblr media
When Y/N woke up, she wasn’t sure what was wrong, but she felt out of it. She blindly reached out next to her, feeling for Zuko’s warm body, but he wasn’t there. He must be off at work at the Jasmine Dragon already or something…
Y/N turned on her phone and groaned. 8:30 AM. She had to get up; she had promised Katara that she would help set up for Aang’s birthday, and she was supposed to meet her in one hour. Sighing, she kicked her blanket off and peeled her eyes open, slightly shivering from the cold. She squinted her eyes. Why was the sunlight so bright? Her eyelids felt heavy, and she wanted more than anything to pull the blanket back up and make herself comfortable once more. However, she scooted her body out of bed, forcing herself to get up.
Her body didn’t approve. She groaned, rubbing her pounding temples with her hand. She stayed still, hoping for the headache to pass before she made any sharp movements. After a while, the throbbing ceased a bit, and Y/N deemed it safe to move. She checked the time. 8:42 AM. She cursed, getting clothes from her closet as fast as she could. Ignoring her headache, she made a quick mental checklist of the things she needed to do. 1. Take a shower. 2. Get dressed & get ready. 3. Pick up the cake from the bakery, and 4. Drive over to Katara’s and help her with anything else. She could do that in 48, now 47 minutes, right?
She trudged through her room, through the hallway, heading towards the bathroom. She brought her clothes over, setting it down on the counter next to the sink. She paused, leaning on the bathroom door for just a second, feeling lightheaded. She sighed, closing her eyes. Why was it so hot all of a sudden? Why was the room spinning…? That never happened before… Where was this sickness coming from? Her knees sank into the ground. No. She promised to help Katara. She lifted herself up with difficulty, using the edge of the sink as support. She staggered, but eventually, she pulled herself up.
Maybe a shower would make her feel better? She pulled her clothes off and got into the shower. The warm water ran against the skin, flowing through her hair.  She was going to be fine. She needed to help Katara! She didn’t want Katara to set up the party all by herself.
Ahh, yes, this was making her feel… better. Right? The water steamed, fogging up the shower glass. She shampooed her hair, running her fingers through her scalp, but it wasn’t making her feel better. No, it was making her feel worse. She was feeling incredibly dizzy and her limbs were weak. The steam from the hot water made her even more dizzy. The shower violently swayed to one side, the world spinning too fast for Y/N to keep up. She washed out the bubbles in her hair, her body slowly sinking into the floor of the shower booth. She was now on all four, unable to stay standing.
What was happening to her? Y/N washed her body with a loofa, still sitting on the floor of the booth, moving slowly with low energy. She washed all the bubbles off and turned off the water. She crawled out and grabbed a towel and the clothes from the countertop. She wiped away the water with the towel and she slowly pulled the clothes on, starting with her lower body. The ripped jeans she picked out were seriously annoying to put on. Her feet kept getting caught in the holes, and it was especially hard because Y/N was seeing double. She then pulled on her top and exhaled in relief. She reached for her phone. 9:13 AM. She internally screamed; she spent way too long to shower. She only had 17 more minutes to do… what?
What was number 2 on her checklist again? She couldn’t make her brain think. She was too busy trying to stay conscious. She closed her eyes, shakily bringing her legs in, moving her body into a fetal position. She rested her head on her knees, trying to stop the room from spinning so severely, trying to stop her from feeling so weak, and trying to stop herself from passing out. She felt faint and she didn’t know if she could get up. She would rather lay on the cold tiles of the bathroom floor.
“Y/N?” Someone knocked at the door, and Y/N barely recognized his voice. Her brain was not working at all.
“Zuko?” she weakly managed to call his name. Hadn’t he gone to work?
“Hey, are you okay? Can I come in? You’ve been in the bathroom for over 40 minutes.” 40 minutes!? How has time gone by so fast?! Y/N reached one arm up and unlocked the bathroom door, grunting at the effort. The door burst open, letting in the cool air from outside the bathroom. She sighed, and tried to look up at Zuko. “Oh my gosh, Y/N!” He kneeled down next to her, his hand immediately on her forehead, checking her temperature. “You’re burning up! What happened?”
“I- I woke up feeling sick and now I’m about to pass out,” she breathed. Her wet hair was dripping onto the white bathroom tiles. Her breathing was shallow, and her surroundings were still wobbly. Her eyesight was going wonky… why was everything blacking out? She squinted, trying to focus on Zuko, but he kept moving. “Z- Zuko, stop moving, I can’t focus on you.”
“Y/N,” he looked at her with concerned eyes. “I’m not moving.” Her mouth opened to form an “o” shape, and she blinked. She was sure he was moving. “Here, lean on me, okay?” She could hear him repositioning himself. She rested her head on the front of Zuko’s chest. She could hear his heartbeat. Thump… thump… thump…  She slumped further onto his knees as the world spun and her vision went black.
✧・゚: *
“Y/N? Hey, are you alright?” Zuko was above Y/N, looking very worried.
“Z- Zuko? What time is it?” Zuko checked his phone.
“9:53, but that’s not important. You literally just passed out.”
“9:53?!” She was late! “Oh no, oh no. I need to pick up the cake and get to Katara’s!” She quickly sat up, which caused her to groan. She shouldn’t have done that; she buried her head in her hands to try and stop the room from spinning once again.
“Hey,” Zuko gently pushed Y/N back down. “I’ll take care of it. It’s okay, you need some rest. Clearly you’re not okay.” He spoke in a soft, calm voice, which calmed her down a bit, but Y/N’s frantic eyes darted all over his face. She shook her head.
“No, I’m fine,” she insisted, despite her headache and the dizziness. She couldn’t get up, let alone drive, but she was undeniably stubborn. She had to help, even though she was definitely not fine. “I promised Katara I would help with Aang’s birthday party. The cake is under my name; only I can pick it up from the bakery. I swear, I’m fine.”
She got up to prove her point, but it backfired. Her knees collapsed from weakness, causing her to trip over herself. She clutched the side of the couch for support. Why did she have to be so dizzy? Zuko’s arms grabbed her from behind, and she lay limp, allowing him to carry her. Why did it take so much effort to stay standing??
“Y/N. I’m worried about you, and you definitely can’t go alone.” He sighed. “If this is really important…” Y/N eagerly nodded. It was important! “I’ll go with you. Sounds good?” Y/N nodded again. That was fine! She checked her phone. 9:58 AM! Already?!
Oh wow, she had a lot of messages. She scrolled through her notifications...
Katara: Hey Y/N! Are you coming?
Katara: Y/N?
Katara: Sokka and I are starting to worry…  are you okay?
Sokka: helloooooo?
Sokka: Y/N? you’re… very late ahaha
Sokka: seriously tho- hello?? can ya answer
Sokka: y/nnnn answer me :(
Sokka: heart 💔 been broke 📉 so many times ⏰ i don’t know 🤔 what to believe
Katara: Missed Calls (4)
Sokka: Missed Calls (5)
Y/N groaned: she didn’t mean to make them worry! She was completely fine. She quickly texted them back, letting them know that she was running late but she’ll be coming soon. She clicked her phone off and got up, letting Zuko support her. Y/N was grateful; she didn’t think she could walk on her own. He led her to the car, once again looking at her worriedly.
“Are you sure you want to go? You can just text them that you can’t make it,” he said. She waved it off. She was going to be fine. She slumped further into the seat, rubbing her temples. Her head still hurt like crazy, and on top of that, she was shivering from the cold. Why was her body like this…? “You’re cold?” She nodded. She was very cold. “Y/N… it’s 82 degrees.” Oh shoot. Now he was going to worry even more.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. I’ll be fine,” she reassured him. She sent him a smile, just to tie it in. He bit his lip, perhaps to bite back some more worried comments, but instead he started the car. The dizziness multiplied as soon as Zuko started driving. She probably should have stayed home, but it’s too late now… “Head over to umm…” Y/N racked her brain, trying to remember the name of the bakery. She closed her eyes as another headache struck her temples. She was tired of this.
“Y/N?” Another worried glance. She had been “thinking” for too long.
“Oh, umm, the one in the plaza next to Katara’s house. It has brick walls.” Zuko changed course, heading to the bakery Y/N described. The car ride felt terrible. Every second, her head hurt, the world kept spinning, and Zuko kept on looking at her as if she was going to pass out again any minute. Which could actually be a possibility, but she put that aside.
Finally, they arrived at the bakery. Zuko gestured for Y/N to stay in the car, which she was totally fine with. She felt like she closed her eyes for a second, and when she blinked, Zuko was already back in the car with the cake in the backseat.
“Oh, hi… Welcome back!” Y/N said. Zuko sighed.
“Y/N, you need to rest. You… look terrible.”
“Gee.. thanks.” She knew, in fact, that if she looked as bad as she felt, she looked very terrible. “But it’s too late now! We’re practically already at Katara’s house. I can see it from here.” Zuko sighed again and started the short drive. After only a few minutes, the two pulled up in Katara’s driveway. Zuko helped Y/N out, and she was not ready. Her leg crumpled as soon as it hit the floor, but Zuko caught her. She mumbled “sorry” as she tried to stand up straight. Zuko practically carried her; she definitely could not walk on her own. Everything was spinning, including Zuko, so she trusted him to lead the way. He rang the doorbell. Sokka answered the door.
“Hey guys! Hi Zuko, didn’t know you were coming.” Y/N smiled. Sokka looked at the scene in front of him. Y/N knew that they must look really weird: she was leaning on Zuko, and Zuko was supporting her with one arm around her waist. “Y/N, you guys are getting reeaaal comfy there.”  She could see Zuko rolling his eyes. “Anyways, come in! We’re just finishing up decorating.”
Zuko kicked his shoes off and he helped Y/N do the same. Ahh shoot. Everything spun around her once again. She shut her eyes as tight as she could until it passed. She opened her eyes, looking up at Zuko. His concerned eyes met hers, asking a silent question. Are you sure you’re okay? She nodded, sighing.
“Hey Y/N!” Katara waved at her.
“Sorry I’m so late, I got held up.” Katara nodded in understanding. She could feel Zuko’s eyes on her but she ignored him. She did get held up. By passing out... but she could leave out the details.
“Can you help me put this up?” Katara held up an orange banner in one hand. She read the banner: Happy birthday Appa! Appa? No, she read it again. Aang. Ugh, she couldn’t even read anymore. She climbed up the ladder with one side of the banner in her hand. Shoot. She stopped midway, gripping the edges of the metal ladder as everything spun harshly around her. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to squish out all of the dizziness.
“Y/N?” She heard Katara’s voice calling to her, but she couldn’t tell from where. She felt someone pulling her off the ladder. The warmth of the body told her that it was Zuko.
“Y/N, are you okay?” someone asked her, but she couldn’t tell who. She felt Zuko pull her in tighter, but she couldn’t see anything since her eyes were completely shut. She wasn’t planning on opening them until everything was back to normal, which meant that it would be a while. She felt terrible, the room wouldn’t stop spinning, her head pounded, and everything was gross. She buried her head further into Zuko’s arms. Everything hurts so much. She wanted everything to stop.
 “Y/N?” Zuko asked her gently.
She heard someone (Sokka?) open and close a cupboard. “Let me take your temperature. Holy- 104.8! Y/N! You shouldn’t have come here. You need to rest.”
“That’s what I was saying, but she insisted on coming.” She heard Zuko’s exasperated voice. She choked back a sob. Everything hurt so bad, the room was spinning and she couldn’t even open her eyes. She should have just stayed home.
“Y/N? Are you going to pass out?” Katara’s worried voice asked.
“Y/N, it’s not healthy to pass out twice in one day,” Zuko whispered.
“Twice?! When did she-”
“This morning. I found her on the bathroom floor.”
“That’s why she was late..? Y/N! You didn’t have to come if you weren’t feeling well!” Everyone else mumbled in agreement.
“Hey, Y/N?” Zuko asked again, softer than before. “Can you say something?”
“I’m sorry,” she muttered. Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
“It’s okay, but you seriously need to rest, alright? It looks like it just keeps getting worse. How do you feel right now?” Zuko’s hand gripped hers.
“Terrible.” That summed it all up. She felt herself be lifted up, and she was carried away. Zuko’s footsteps echoed in her brain. She was set down on a bed and tucked in.
“Get well soon, okay?” A tender kiss was planted on the top of her burning forehead. She was going to get well for Zuko’s sake.

Tumblr media
The walk back to your homes was silent. Fingers tightly intertwined with no space left. Each labored breath taken was painful. None of you dared to break the silence. Footsteps and occasional cars honking were all you two could hear. The usual 20 minute walk felt like an hour.
Now standing in the middle of your houses, you finally craned your neck and stared into the sadness his dark blue eyes held. Knowing this was something you would never forget, you tore your gaze and looked at your trembling hands. Akaashi had kept his mouth shut despite your knuckles paling from your grasp.
“I’ll see you in a few minutes, yeah?” You spoke up. Voice cracking as your eyes began to water.
“You can come in via the front door. It’s fine.” His hand held on tighter than before.
“I’d like to stay longer…” A small smile managed to form on your lips despite the corners of your eyes sinking. “I’m not going anywhere, Keiji.”
“What if you will and I’m not there?” His brows furrowed. Somehow those words escaped his mouth before he could think. Gritting his teeth, his shoulders tensed as his arm quivered. He didn’t dare blink if it meant savoring the sight of you.
How you hated the world, no, the universe for bringing your friends into this peaceful world. That sentence was something you would never say but the feeling of being pulled back forcefully was horrifying. Sure, you were given a deadline of 5 days but having created such wonderful memories and bonds from scratch… Only to lose it all with on certainty of seeing their warm smiles was dreadful.
“Okay.” You took steps forward and dragged him towards his house. “If it’ll ease your soul, I’ll enter the house through my window. You can come as well and help me pack my stuff.”
“Pack?” He stopped walking. His heart probably would’ve stopped beating if it wasn’t for that forced giggle that escaped your mouth.
“I’ll be staying the night and I wanna put my things in your closet.”
“Oh.” His shoulders relaxed and he unlocked the doors. Luckily his parents weren’t home and led you straight to his bedroom. Sliding his windows open, he checked if there were any people on the opposite street, convinced that no one was around, he turned to you. “Coast is clear.”
“You’ve never crossed the bridge~” You sat on the ledge, ready to walk on air. “It’s stable so no need to freak out. It’ll feel weird tho.”
Quickly crossing, you opened your windows and entered your room, watching your boyfriend cautiously stepping onto the invisible bridge was too cute. Grabbing your phone, you recorded the whole ordeal till he was bending down to enter the household.
“How was it?” You ruffled his hair. He leaned down a bit so you could get easier access. By now he was inside your room.
“Not the best feeling but I can get used to it.” He followed you to your bed and sat down. “(y/n)?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you have any idea how they got here?”
“Based on what Midoriya told me, a bunch of machines are regulating their bodies and that his quirk is sustaining both of them. I have no idea how it works but…” Letting out an exhale, you stood up and grabbed a small bag. Chewing on your inner lip, you could feel your shoulders trembling as breathing became painful. “5 days.”
Wind knocked out from his lungs, Akaashi silently watched as you began to pack your stuff. Even if he did manage to think of something, he knew too well that the situation was nothing but one sided. Standing up, he silently went down on his knees and hugged you from behind.
“I know I can’t do anything.” He began, tightening his hold as he felt your tears soaking his sleeve. “I’m nothing compared to them. I have no quirk, I have no control over this situation. However, it would kill me if I wouldn’t let you hear it.”
“Please don’t.” It was barely audible but the shakiness of your voice, the tears spilling down your cheeks, the unwanted pressure in your chest was more than you could take.
“Please don’t leave me.” Akaashi whispered. His head resting on your shoulders. His grip tight around your quivering body. He barely cries. He rarely shows any emotion. Yet this one was a punch to the gut. One that would forever leave a bruise.
In less than a second, you turned around and wrapped your arms around his neck. Rubbing circles on his back. Using your quirk, you managed to calm him down. Though for sure his thoughts were running wild, this was the best you could do. Not even your hero studies taught you what to say during times like these.
The hours ticked by and you found yourself about to cross the bridge. Akaashi leaning on the window sill, ready to lend a helping hand. Just as you were about to step out, a knock on your door broke the silence. Snapping your head to the direction of the sound, you let out a small curse before telling Akaashi to give you a minute.
“Mom?” You opened the door and found your mother. The look of confusion written on her face. Almost as if she were hesitant. “What’s up?”
“You have visitors…”
“Is it a blonde and a green haired boy?”
“Oh~ You guessed it right~” Before you could step out of your room, she blocked you. “Do you want me to send them home or…?”
“It’s fine. They won’t stay long.”
Going down the stairs, you saw the two boys sitting in the living room. Safe distance for them not to fight with each other. When they heard your footsteps, both of them looked your way and bowed to greet your mother as well.
“Oi. Let’s talk outside.” Bakugo said as he walked past you. Deku trailing behind him.
Standing on the dimly lit streets, you waited for any of them to start talking. Even if you were the one to start, you weren’t exactly sure what to say at this point in time.
“Break up with him.” Bakugo immediately said before Deku could open his mouth.
“No.” Stern.
“You don’t get it do you?” He waved an arm around the surroundings. “D’you even think this is all real? Do you think that maybe the world you’ve been living in for the past 7 months was your mind's own effort to create some sort of paradise? It’s fucked up how you would rather stay in this shitty scenario and give up what you’ve been training for.”
“To be honest, I can’t and don’t even have an adequate rebuttal for your statement.” Clenching your fists, you inhaled shakily. “But, all of this… I’m sure it is all but real. Not even my own quirk is capable of creating something this fast and diverse.”
Taking a step forward, Deku quickly grabbed Bakugo.
“Kacchan! Don’t…” He mumbled something low enough for you not to hear.
“Shut the fuck up Deku. If she can’t see what’s going on over on our side, then I’ll have to beat some sense into her.” Pushing Deku away, he saw how you were now in defense mode. It had been awhile since the two of you duelled. Taking into consideration that his quirk was reduced to nothing in this world, Bakugo held enough confidence to know he would rub his point till you would agree.
Charging towards you, Bakugo swung his fist to which you managed to dodge. His face met your elbow before he immediately recovered and hit your head. Hard.
With your ears ringing, you let go of him and tried to regain your balance. The pain of his head colliding with yours should’ve felt like nothing, yet this one was different. Falling to the ground, you stared at the two men standing in front of you.
Shutting your eyes to rid the pain, you opened it only to find white walls. Looking around, your eyes caught hold of heterochromatic eyes. Ones that held desperation and shock at the moment before him.
“(y/n)...?”
“Sh-Sho-” You could barely speak. Your throat felt even drier than the Sahara Desert.
Blinking once more, the white walls were replaced with a blurry vision of your unwanted visitors.
Again, you blinked and found yourself surrounded by your classmates from 2-A. The world was spinning but you caught a glimpse of two capsules. Two sleeping bodies connected to a bunch of tubes were inside. Black energy circulating some sort of tank beside them.
Their voices were now mumbled and all you could hear were fast beeping sounds from the heart monitor machine.
“Give. Her. Some. Space.” Recovery Girl spoke up. Her small figure swinging her large syringe. Grabbing a penlight, she checked your pupils and found them dilated. Taking a quick look at your monitor, she reduced that you were under an immense amount of stress. Looking at the two boys inside the capsule, the way their bodies were twitching also indicated that things were not going well.
Reaching for the Diazepam shot, Recovery Girl stuck the needle onto your lymph nodes. Just as the last dose was administered, she watched as your heart rate went back to normal and tears to run down your eyes.
The final blink and you were curled on the cement road. Down on all fours as your shoulders trembled.
“Oi.”
“(y/n)-chan?”
“Stop…” You stood up, only to lose balance. Quick to his feet, Deku caught you before you could hit the ground. Clutching tightly on to his shirt, you buried his face onto his chest and silently cried.
“If it isn’t a bother…” The two boys looked up and saw Akaashi. His blue-gray eyes intensely staring at them despite the clear evidence of pain. “I’d like to spend time with her before you take her.”
“Hold the fuck up.” Bakugo spoke up. “You know she’s not from here?”
“I’ve known for a while now.”
“If you’ve known then why don’t you just give her back to us? She doesn’t belong here and-”
“She may not belong here but she’s created a home. It may not be me or her mother, but the smiles she has shared with all of us are as true as your world.” Your crying had stopped and his gaze now focused on you. “I’m not persuading either of you to leave her alone or to stay here, but if you give this world a chance, then perhaps you’ll see why she’s reacting in such a way.”
“And what would you know, extra? You’re quirkless and can’t grasp how much of an important part it is for us.”
“So what if I’m quirkless? If I were born into your world, I would have been part of that population who were less fortunate.” Akaashi walked towards Deku and carefully extended his hand. You immediately received it. “But that wouldn’t mean my life is ruined. It just means I have to find other means to adapt.”
“Akaashi…” You tried to console him but he merely gave you the softest and most sincere smile you’ve ever seen him give. One that made Deku and Bakugo’s jaw drop.
“My time with her is as limited as can be. So please,” Taking one step away from you, Akaashi lowered his body and bowed to the two men. “Just let her spend time with her friends and family.”
“Akaashi-san!” Deku panicked. Waving his palms desperately. “Please lift your head.”
“Oi. Other world boy.” Bakugo spoke up once more. His eyes studying the person who had just bowed to him and gave a speech. “Why fight? Why pursue someone who's literally beyond your reach and would only cause nothing but pain and trouble.”
He let out a sigh and intertwined his fingers with yours.
“Because it’s her.”
“That’s it?” Bakugo’s voice was slow and controlled.
“There’s nothing more to it.”
With nothing more to ask, Bakugo grabbed Deku by the collar and walked away. Leaving the both of you alone. Looking over his shoulder, he watched as Akaashi pulled you into a tight hug, one where you did not hesitate to return.
“Kacchan… Did you hear what he said?” Deku thought out loud.
“I’m not deaf dumbass.”
“That’s not what I meant. I was just wondering. If all of this is a product of (y/n)’s quirk, those words that came out of Akaashi-san’s mouth was… odd.” His thumb and index finger resting on his chin. “I don’t think that’s something she would think about.”
“What’re you saying? You actually believe that this place we’re in is real and not a product of her body induced in drugs?”
“Hear me out…”

hello pal! Can you do some Rami Malek headcannons, maybe some buying a new house ones? Idk that just came to me. Like painting and having to put together furniture?? Thanks babe!!
THIS IS SUPER LONG FOR A HEADCANON LOL I HAD IDEAS BUT OKAY HERE WE ARE WE LOVE A DOMESTIC EGYPTIAN KING !!
Buying a House
You weren’t a super picky gal, and Rami wasn’t a super picky guy
But somehow, none of the houses in LA seemed to peak your interests
None of them felt like home really
By the third month of looking at houses (with Rami’s schedule and yours it was difficult to really get a day out with a realtor)
you were beginning to feel hopeless
Rami could tell you were getting irritable when he found you in the garden of one house, just staring out with your brows furrowed
“Baby?” his voice broke through and you flinched, looking towards him
“yeah?”
“You okay?”
You sighed and he wrapped his arms around you, tucking your head into his shoulders / chest and rubbed your neck gently
“I’m just so frustrated. Either all of the houses in LA are terrible which certainly isn’t true cause some of them are beautiful, or I’m just horrible at house hunting.” you rambled
Rami wouldn’t have any of the negativity
so he squeezed you tighter and said “no, absolutely not. if you don’t feel like one place is meant to be ours, then it isn’t. don’t feel bad about that, we’re spending our hard earned money and picking the house we’ll be in till we’re old, angel. don’t be afraid to be picky.”
so you cried even harder cause how could this man be so beautiful
anyways
so you the house hunt continued for a few more weeks until one day you and Rami were just driving around LA neighborhoods
which you two often did when both of you needed to clear your minds a bit
and you guys saw an open house sign outside of this one place that from the outside, already looked promising
so you guys decided to check it out
and there it was.
the house. your guys’ house. your home, with your husband Rami.
the best part was the house was empty, the realtor was just about to close up when you guys came in and let you two stroll around on your own
you walked into each room with awe, saw the kitchen and fell in love
you could already see the living room where you’d decorate for christmas or whatever holidays you celebrate
and when you made it out to the backyard, Rami’s hand still in yours, he could already see it in your face, one of happiness
he stood behind you and placed his chin on your shoulder, asking you what you thought even though you already knew
“this is it, Rami.” you said softly
you turned around to kiss him, pure delight running through you
and he loved the house as well, no doubt, but he also loved seeing you so happy
and he could see it too, he could see the life you guys were going to build in that house
Rami saw you in the kitchen with him, making a batch of cookies for when his family would visit
he saw you and him in the living room, cuddled up with some wine and a good film on
he saw you two in the bedroom with his record player set up in the corner, dancing around to Love Of My Life or some other beautifully crafted Queen song
So you after another moment of admiring the whole house, you two went out to the realtor and bought it
Buying Furniture / Putting it together
“What about that one?” you said, pointing to a couch whilst at a furniture store
Rami’s face scrunched, he knew you wanted to be adventurous but also he could tell you were joking because a bright red couch? it would not age well in your house
you two strolled around, picking out items that most other couples wouldn’t be able to see in their house
but that didn’t matter because they were yours and Rami’s, the items were perfectly you two
“wait, baby” Rami called out to you as you passed the bed section
you watched as he flopped down onto the mattress, sinking just a bit before you came over and did the same thing
“what do you think?” he turned to you, a light smirk on his face
“it’s a good bed, yeah” is all you said, not really catching on but he leaned closer to you, well aware of the fact that at any moment someone could come through and catch you guys
but he didnt care
he took your face in his hands and said in a low voice “do you think it’ll be a good enough for us to use when we christen our new house? hm, princess?”
and you’re like raMI SAID MALEK NOT HERE
he just shrugs, a smug look on his face knowing he made you wet and would be in for one once you two got home
eventually the two of you made it out of the store having chosen a lot of your things
but when it came to setting it up???? lmao
you and Rami were cooperative….. to a degree
you managed to set up the little nightstand fairly easily
buuuut things when down hill when you guys started setting up the dining table
“Rami where’s the screw for this”
“I gave it to you”
“no you didn’t”
“yes i did”
“Well if I hadn’t then I wouldn’t be asking you for it, would I?”
“Well Y/N I don’t know what to tell you because if I did have it then it wouldn’t be right- oh.” he stops before realising he had it in the pocket of his jeans
((he kept it there so he could remember where it was when you asked for it lmao))
and two hours later when you’re upset about the coffee table not coming together right, you start grumbling about how you should’ve just paid people to come in and do it
but you don’t do it loud enough for rami to hear
oh no
because he kinda wanted to do that but you insisted on it just being you two
you didn’t like the idea of people coming in and doing work that you two were perfectly capable of doing
but Rami, boy with good hearing, heard
and once he caught wind of you doing it, he rips out an
“I told you so”
even though he knows he shouldn’t have
he still wanted to
and it was worth your “Rami if you dont fucking shut up right now I swear youre never going to get a blow job from me again”
and he shuts up
still makes the mental argument in his head tho lmao
HOUSE WARMING
Everyone was more than pleased when you invited them around for your house warming
They had heard things here and there from you and Rami but you guys refused to show it until you were completely happy with it
and so when you invited them over, they had expectations but they were widely met once they came
Everyone was in complete awe of your house
not just because it was a beautiful grand house in LA but because it was exactly yours and Rami’s, exactly what they thought you two would have
The Bo Rhap gang came around also and brought little things for you two as gifts
Lucy brought you guys a candle with your guys photo on it
Ben brought you two the same thing Lucy did because he didn’t quite know what to get but lmao instead of a cute ass photo he put a meme some fans made of you and Rami
Gwil bought a couple records that he knew you and Rami loved
but Joe
Joseph won the fucking night
he brought you two cardboard cut-outs…. of each other
“I was going around thinking of what gift to get you guys when it hit me, why not give you guys the gift of each other?”
you guys rolled your eyes and laugh and Joe was like
“For when Rami is away, or the other way around. So you guys don’t get lonely in this house”
it was a sweet but oddly funny gesture in the end
And when the party finished up and you two said goodbye to the last of your guests
You and Rami stood in the dining room, his chin on your shoulder just like the first day when you two realised you wanted this house
“Really good night, wasn’t it”
you hummed in reply and he spun you around and moved close enough so that your lips were just hovering over his
“it was perfect, everyone seemed so pleased”
he pecked your lips but pulled away, knowing you had more to say
“you know something?” you said, looking into his bright eyes
“what’s that?”
“i think, and disregarding how picky i was during this whole house hunting process, i would’ve been glad to live with you anywhere”
and he just says “oh?” brows raised and you nod
“you’re home, Rami. doesn’t matter where i am, as long as it’s with you”
then homeboy kisses you deeply but just for a moment then he pulls away
and you’re like whatcha doin there buddy
Rami leaned so that his lips were just brushing over yours, the biggest smile on his face and he said “I’m so fucking in love with you, Y/N.”
and that’s the night u guys make babies
jk if u don’t want babies
whatever u guys wanna do it’s all u i love you guys so much
sorry for the shitty ending! didn’t know how to do it but feedback is always appreciated my dears! xx

You where curled up on the couch in a warm blanket, it was a calm morning, Christmas, nice and calm. Noctis was laying on the couch with his arms around you still half asleep. Gladio was behind you with you in his lap arms around you as well as his face hidden in your shoulder. You ran your hands in both of their hairs slowly as you fought off sleep yourself. Ignis was in the kitchen with Prompto making a meal for you all to enjoy before getting to the tree to open the gifts you all got for each other.
The room had soft music playing from the tv as you’re eyes started to drop and feel more heavy. You tried to fight that urge to fall asleep, wanting to stay awake and wait for prompto and ignis to be done. With a soft whine Gladio shifted and held you tighter. “Sleep” Gladio mumbled as he leaned  back a little more to let his body fall back more into the long couch. Noct gave a annoyed grumble as his body slipped further down on you. Feeling your eyes slowly close you kept them closed, but not fully asleep. Gladio was glad to have you in his arms before the others got to you, then again you did have times you would just give most attention to each boy at different times as they would be with someone else.
Gladio started to rub your side with his larger hand, it was warm and comforting nothing to far, as he kept it calm and tame as he knew Ignis would maybe get a little grumpy for starting something this early on christmas.  It didn’t take long before a han light touches your shoulder with a small shake, as well as feeling Noctis grumble burying his face into you’re lag. “Come on you two, wake up” Ignis said with a warm tone. Blinking a few times you’ve rubbed your eye looking up at him. He had on a more comfy shirt, it might have been gladios maybe? It was something you all did. Stealing each others close when you could. Well other then gladio as he was a little to… large.
“Noct, come on” you mumbled in a sleepy voice running fingers in his hair. Noct slowly turned his head to look up at you with one eye open as his cheek squished having his other eye closed. “But im comfy” he mumbled. In a mess of words in his sleepy voice. “Yea well we made food, come on before i eat you’re bacon” Prompto said as he lifted nocts place in his view. It took Noct a moment to think, would it be worth losing some bacon over the comfort of your lap.
“Noct.. move your ass” Gladio grumbled from behind you as he was still worse a tired look on your face. Noct huffed as he slowly sat up and stretched his arms up with a yawn. Glad to have him off your legs you moved to place a kiss on his face as you got up letting the blanket fall. Moving away before any of them could grab you, you wondered on over to the plates with a smile. “This looks good” you said with a smile. It was eggs, with bacon and sausage, with fruit in a small bowel, and juice.
“It looks good iggy” you mumbled as he came back over to the table, placing a kiss on his cheeks having to get on your toes to do it. Ignis found it slightly amusing as he leaned down a little to let you place the kiss. “Heyyyy” Noctis whined a little as he was coming t the table seeing prompto holding his bacon. “What, you took forever” he chuckled feeding it to Noctis as he came over half slumped on his shoulder.
It was a nice breakfast with Noct looking half dead and sleepy, normally he would try to sleep in much more longer but was forced awake. You wondered if he always just held that sleepy look on his face all the time and most of the time he did. “Noct, you’re father called this morning he wanted us to come to the citadel, you’re father and Iris are going to be there as well Gladio” Gladio gave a hum as he helped Ignis clear the plates as you all finished your food placing them into the sink to be washed later. Noctis gave a small grumble about not wanting to wear a suit or having to really dress up. “I think you’re father would let it slide if you just throw a t-shirt on and jeans Noct” you said leaning on you’re hand pushing around the eggs.
Noctis have a hum as he leaned on prompto looking at you watching you push the eggs left on your plate. “You okay?” Prompto asked as he let his head fall on noctis looking at you. “Hm? Oh, yea im fine why?” “normally you don’t push your eggs around, you normally at least eat part of them” “oh, i am just full, it was a large meal” taking the plate in your hands you scraped the food off into the trash and set to work on the dishes. “Hey, no, me and Noct was going to do them later tonight” Gladio said as he grabbed you by you waist. “What, no come on Gladioooo, i was going to do this today” Gladio shook his head as he placed you down in the living room back on the couch.
Ignis was taking some of the gifts out from under the tree placing them down on the coffee table. “We can do them when we come back from the citadel, or maybe tomorrow morning, i will let it slide for now” Prompto took the spot next to you already cuddling you’re side, you welcomed the blond as you placed a kiss on his head with a smile.
It was a simple time, with smiles kisses and love around each other as they opened their gifts from each other and relaxed in the nice morning and fresh christmas air. Chewing on your bottom lip as they talked calmly with each other you’re hands resting in your lap playing with a soft chocobo plush prompto got for you. Running your fingers over the soft fur. With a small nod to yourself you stood up. “I..i have one more gift for you guys, and it’s for all of you. The guys stopped talking as they looked confused glancing at each other. Ignis set a limit for you guys, as he didnt want you all to go over the top, but you knew they wouldn’t. “Just.. wait here”
You left to the bedroom leaving the four of them confused and wondering. Stepping into the bedroom you closed the door with a soft click. Leaning back on the door you took another deep breath, you’re nerves were on end, and well… you had no fucking idea how they would react to what you where about to do. You moved around to the bedroom to the closet opening it and having to dig around inside of it until you pulled the box out. You just put it in there yesterday and there was about 4 of them inside of the box. It was a larger box tho, placing it down on the bed you stared at it. Inside of the box was a small little bear, as well as a small baby hat, a bib and a pacifier. Under that was a layer of tissue paper with 4 positive pregnancy tests.
You’re hands started to shake as you started to fear what they would do or even say. Moving a hand you lightly brushed it over your stomach where a bump would start to form soon. You just about jumped out of your skin hearing the door click open causing you to spin around pushing the box a little more behind you. Ignis was standing there as he slowly opened the door. “Love?” he questioned looking at you. You looked at him with a surprised, fearful look almost like a deer in headlights. “Are you okay?” he questioned letting the door click behind him.
You nod a little as you push the box behind you a little more to try and hide it from his view. “You been in here for a while” Ignis said as he came closer lightly putting his hand on your shoulder lightly rubbing it. “I-i was?” you questioned raising an eyebrow. He nods to you before looking at your eyes. “Are you sure you are fine?” you nod again before giving him a small smile. “Im fine Iggy i promise” you placed a kiss on his cheek with a smile. “Well… we are going to be heading to the citadel soon, would you be okay with bringing the gift there?”
You mouth went dry as you looked at him with a soft nod you glanced back at the box. “Sure, that would be fine” it would be fine, as Regis, Clarus, as well as Iris and cor knew about your relationship with the guys. They never really looked down on it, just agreed and moved along. Iris loved you as well as the others so it was a bonus.
Ignis wasn’t buying it at all as he  looked at you. You turned him away and lightly pushed him forward. “Well, what are we waiting for, let’s get ready and head on over to the citadel” you smiled at him wide.
You could feel your stress and worry slowly boiling, and reaching it’s peak. Chewing your lip you held your box close to you not letting Gladio take it with a few other things they brought on over for the others and themselves. Gladio seemed to notice just how much of a death grip you held on this box, how you held it close to your chest or close to you’re middle not letting it go to far.
It was a calm time with hugs and welcomes, well almost calm for you. Coming into a room that was more of a family room. Regis was in more casual wear as he relaxed in a chair with Iris talking away her brothers ear, Prompto and Noct sat on the floor together playing on there phones, Cor was calmly talking with ignis cor, regis and clarus. You, you took a deep breath glancing at the box you placed next to you. The other gifts were already opened before you stood up catching there attention. “I..i have one last gift” you mumbled as you leaned over to pick it up carefully. Running a finger over the black wrapping paper with stars and snow around the place, with a blue bow on it. “It’s.. it’s for the guys” Regis was curious watching as you caught and torse away nocts and prompto attention from there game.
Chewing your lip you took a deep breath placing it down on the small coffee table. Motioning to a couch you waited for the four of them to sit down. Placing it on the coffee table in front of them you pushed the box to them waiting for one of them to make a move. It was Noctis that took the box first placing it into his lap. Clarus turned to watch them a little better and Ris was grinning like a idiot, she already knew as she questioned you buying the other things. Sitting there on the ground with her phone she started to record it with a wide smile. Regis was confused watching as Iris was recording and leaned into his arm.
Noctis pulled the bow apart and lifted the lid as prompto took it from him as he sat next to him. Moving some of the paper aside he was puzzled looking at it. On Nocts other side Ignis seemed to catch on quickly scanning the items as his eyes turned to you before the bx. Reaching inside he took the baby had in his hand running his fingers over the soft material. Gladio was curious as well as he sat next to prompto taking the very small bear into his hand looked at it. “y/n?” gladio questioned yoas he looked up at you his scared eyebrow raised.
Regis moved a hand to his mouth as he leaned on it looking at his son waiting for him to catch on as well as he already got it seeing the times that were pulled out followed by the other small baby items. It was prompto who caught the site of a pink items in the tissue paper. Lifting it prompto froze seeing it, his body was stiff as he started to stutter. Dropping the tissue paper he looked at you as his jaw dropped. Gladio turned his head as he reached inside of the box pulling it out as he blinked a few times taking notice of what he really was holding in his hand. “Love…” Ignis said in a soft voice. You’re hands were wrapped around yourself in a shy way looking at them all chewing your lip. Prompto just about flew over the coffee table.
With a surprised yelp mixed with a laugh you let him hold you. Prompto was hugging you tight. His arms held you close to his chest. Prompto was just about shaking as he held you. “Is..is it true?” he mumbled into your ear. “Y-yes is is promp…” you mumbled placing a kiss on his cheek. Prompto started to shake a little more as he let tears start to fall from his face.
Prompto pulled away from you with a large ass grin on his face as ignis was standing behind him. With a hand on promptos back he reached out to pull you into a hug as well placing a kiss on your head as you hid yourself into his chest. “Im glad” he mumbled into your [h/c] hair. Gladio was the next one taking you into his large strong arms. With a tight hug he just about lifted you into the air with a chuckle placing a kiss on your lips. Gladio was glad, hell he was over ecstatic about this. Smoothing you in his chest he moved back before glancing at Noctis. Noct was still on the couch holding a test. “It's… “ noctis couldn’t find words as he looked up at you. Walking closer to him he gripped the test in his hand as you came to stand in front og him. It took him a second as he looked up at you. Moving his arms around you he pulled you closer pressing his face into your stomach. Running your fingers in his hair you smiled.
You felt your shirt start to get wet and couldn’t help but laugh mixed with a cry as you felt tears fall from your face as well. Prompto moved to sit next to Nocts drying his face as well. Leaning on nocts he sniffled with a smile on his face. Noctis turned his head a little taking promptos hand to hold it tight. Ignis was at your side as well as Gladio . “well…” a voice said from behind them. Turning your head you came to look at clarus and regis as they grinned. “Looks like we are going to be grandparents now” Regis said with a large grin on his face, he looked like eh was going to cry as well from just hearing about this and seeing how close you all where.
With a sniffle you felt tears rush down your face from happiness, you were glad things went smoothly as you laughed. Gladio move his large hand to wipe your face. “We got you” Gladio said as he kissed your head. It was a nice warm feeling, it was great, you couldn’t help but laugh as they smothered you in love, as well as each other from just the joy of knowing they were going to be fathers, none of them cared really who the true father was going to be, they would love the child all the same.
