Beloved mutual and beloved supplier of good wizard posts.#I will make it an open secret that I love me some good goofy wizards.#Safety Wizard has a special pizzazz that just gets the gears turning.#I like to imagine Safety Wizard began their studies as a traffic wizard. Then took some courses in roadside hazard magic.#This sparked an interest in safety magic and resulted in an eventual change of major - but the outfit stayed true to their roots.#All that said and done; The original costume is really good and I hope OP keeps up the good wizarding work.#Remember that distracted driving is extremely dangerous. Do not drive tired or in altered states of awareness.#It is always morally correct to call a friend of ride service if you have even the smallest doubt you will be a safe driver.#And *please* wear proper PPE on your job site. It was a big help and a lot of fun!#we really did recreate what is going on in the drawing!#also thanks to snails muffin and terror for the animation pointers & terminology #Smear frames were def the way to go! Not whatever I was trying to do before asking for help #I guess this counts as my first *real* animation so hooray!#I *might* use some of the remaining prompts for future drawings but at this point I have other things I want to work on #even though I was only able to finish a few of these I felt like I still learned a lot #it definitely got me into the habit of drawing every day #and I'm still doing that so this event was a big win in my book!#and no joke I really did color pick from the load cursor just so I could do the silly spinning thing

actually sometimes being neurodivergent is great bc you have a particular kind of Silly Mode that just . manifests glory. harmless fun is my precious side quest & i have a high score in whimsy. like okay if i gotta be the first dork in the dance pit it's gonna be me and this random toddler and we're gonna avril-style rock ouuuuttt

#poorly drawn odyssey #the odyssey #odysseus #penelope #epic the musical #Epic's version was very sweet and very well executed (and so cathartic!)#But Odyssey Penelope is *so* done with all the bullshit at this point in the story.#Credit where it is due; at this point she's been through a lot.#And to top if all off - her own son and one of the few maids on her side are buying into this (supposed) ruse.#This cannot have been the only time someone tried to pull this trick on her either.#Its the contrast between: 'Oh you're My husband?' and 'Ohh *sureeee* you're my husband. Just like the 30 other 'Odys' before you.'#The olive tree bed trick is a great gambit because it really is the final test to verify his identity.#I'm just a sucker for couples who have a secret only they know between them I suppose!#The match each other in will and wit! They will always find each other!!!#Anyways. The Odyssey is a worthwhile read and I highly recommend it. Epic is also a great musical worth checking out.

I've drawn him a couple of times, just really little/in the background. but I should draw him more, I love this guy a lot! I have many, many thoughts about him and the way he parallels Silver...and also I think it is extremely funny that his ghost is stuck in a ring. especially considering where that ring has been for the last 16-ish years.

#ramble #the band ghost #ghost bc #tattoo apprentice things #couldn't pull a line to save my life that day #i had to do SO much fixing #i'm going to say it was just a really awkward placement to do on yourself bc it's right under the knee when you cross your legs #the line weight and the shading saved it and the more i look at it the less i hate it #like if you're not LOOKING for imperfections it's fine. and considering it's the 3rd one i've done on real skin #and it's a lot bigger than the others. it's FINE #i know if i got this from someone else i would NOT think 'this is a terrible tattoo'#it's not perfect but it's not bad #my mentor has said i'm being too hard on myself and she's right akdhdhfh #i might go back once it's healed and even out the thick outlines but right now it doesn't need fixing at all
