Shut Up.
Denji x Male!Reader
Tumblr media
-fluff, comfort, smut, bottom denji, top reader, closeted(?) denji, established relationship , mentions of slight jealousy, yoshida mentions
-this was requested by @tsukikor quite some time ago, thank you for the req!
Denji didn’t really know what to do with these emotions, yeah it was well known by everyone that he liked women but he also liked men- in particular you- his boyfriend.
He didn’t mean to keep it a secret, he really didn’t mean anything by not coming out it just.. wasn’t something he ever thought of and couldn’t ever really find a moment to think about if he really needed to tell anyone?
That’s what’s brought him to this, the feeling of ugly envy and jealousy watching you interact with Yoshida… now, it’s not like he disliked Yoshida but he didn’t particularly find himself fond of him either. Watching you laugh and joke with him worried him.. Yoshida was kind of openly gay or maybe he just acted like that, he wasn’t all too sure if he was honest.
That aside, the thought of Yoshida taking you away from him made him nauseous.
The two of you of course never disclosed the relationship but they should know that you’re off the market! At least!
“You wanna get out of here? It’s getting a bit stuffy, don’t ya think?”
Yoshida chuckled across the room, you scratched the back of your neck and said something that denji couldn’t quite hear because of the distance but he was quick to follow the two of you out of the room.
“Are you doing anything after this?”
“No, I’m probably gonna walk Denji home afterwards.”
You stretched your arms, raising your brow as you saw Yoshida turn his gaze to the entrance of the building.
“What are you guys doin out here?”
Smiling, you lowered your arms and greeted Denji.
“Just came out to get some air, what’s up?”
“Why didn’t you get me?”
Denji pouted, making the two of you laugh lightly
“Jeez, he’s acting like your boyfriend huh?”
Yoshida smirked, he knew that there was obviously something going on between the two of you but would wait for one of you to admit..
Denji opened his mouth to speak, only to close his mouth when you spoke
“We all have one member of the group who is like that, it’s nice, if only someone liked you enough for that.”
You smiled brightly at your friend, he sighed and laughed- used to your usual jabs at him and his distant relationships with everyone. He just wasn’t one to exert himself.
“I want to go home, Y/n.”
Raising your brow, you looked at a deflated Denji. You nodded, quickly checking your pockets to make sure you had everything.
“Alright, well my ‘boyfriend’ will like to go home. I’ll text ya later.”
Yoshida nodded, watching the two of you go off with a wide smirk on his lips.
“You’re awfully quiet..”
“Shut up.”
You were just as shocked as Denji was when he realized what left his mouth, frowning at your boyfriend you created a slight distance infront of him.
“Alright, we’ll discuss that when we get to your place..”
Denji felt his stomach churn in guilt. He’d never been outwardly rude to you since you started your relationship.
Joking quips were typical but never once had he ever told you to ‘shut up’, and neither had you. He cringed, he was in for a long conversation with you so he brainstormed how to apologize..
The two of you entered his apartment, he silently watched as you took off your coat and shoes, watching you enter his bedroom. He bit his lip, nervously following you into the bedroom.
“So what was that? Telling me to shut up now?”
You weren’t mad, more so disappointed and worried about what would make him do that.
“I.. it’s just! What if he takes you away?”
The gears were turning in your boyfriends head, you sighed and opened your arms for him to go in for a hug. He happily dove into your arms and rubbed his face into your neck.
“Yoshida? You’re kidding right?”
He tensed, lip quivering slightly as he buried himself further into you
“No! I’m not! I’ve never done any of this before I don’t know what to do when I’m jealous!”
That was true, the fact he could vocalize that he was actually jealous was a testament to how much he’s grown, how much he’s learned in this relationship. He was an unpredictable partner, and you had to be patient with him in these moments.
“And.. and when you acted like you weren’t my boyfriend in-front of him, I don’t know! It feels wrong! It is wrong!”
You couldn’t help but laugh lightly, it was true. Under any other circumstance, with anyone else, it would be ‘normal’ to say he was actually your boyfriend but this wasn’t a normal relationship as much as you wanted to make it seem so.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have indulged in that joke. But, if you want them to know it’s gonna be from you, you know that right?”
Rubbing your hand up and down his back, he only sighed and mumbled ‘yeah’, it wasn’t a formal agreement but it wasn’t exactly something that he had discussed.. wanting everyone to know. He quickly sat up, moving to sit in your lap and look down at you. His hands rested on your abdomen, a determined look in his eyes.
“I’m ready to tell them! We’ve already had sex, they should know you’re mine!”
You blushed, but laughed and nodded
“Okay, that’s one way to choose. We’ll tell them next time we see them.”
He grinned widely, showcasing all of his teeth before he leaned down and caught your lips. You returned the kiss, biting his bottom lip and making him moan- taking advantage of it to explore the familiar warm space. Denji started to grind his hips against yours, you felt his hands start to trail up your chest and moving to tangle his fingers in your hair.
You felt his bulge brushing against your stomach, pulling away to catch your breathe you gazed up at him- his face flushed bright red and he still bucked his hips.
“That little bit of jealousy got you all worked up, Hm?”
He nodded, leaning down you leave wet kisses on your neck
“I’m all yours Denji, no need to worry about anyone else. I love you.”
He whimpered, feeling his own precum leaking from him and becoming desperate for more contact
“ ‘am sorry, I love you too- ugh- please..”
You switched positions with him, flipping him on his back and climbing to hover just above him. Leaning down to return the wet kisses to his neck, marking his collar bone before slipping his shirt up and over his head. He pushed himself up to chase your lips, fumbling with your shirt to try and start to undress you. Smiling into the kiss, you briefly pulled away to toss your own shirt across the room. Denji continued to keep your mouthes connected, his kisses felt like he was trying to eat you out of desperation. You pulled away and returned to lapping at his neck, the soft skin becoming pink and red with the new marks and suction.
He began fidgeting with his belt, eager to kick off his pants that only slid down to his knees because of the position.
“Calm down, we have all the time in the world..”
Forcing your hand onto his chest, you pushed him down gently and watched as he panted. Denji was always one to rush things, always wanting to get from point a to point b as quick as possible.
You wanted to teach him that patience can be gratifying, he’d never really been given the chance to learn that not everything is running away from him, not everything is going to leave him hanging, especially not you.
He nodded, catching his breathe and getting comfortable like you’d shown him before. It made you smile softly, he reciprocated and smiled up at you. Gently, you pulled down his pants like he’d wanted, and took off your own.
“We’re gonna go slow today, you’re worked up and I don’t want to hurt you.”
Denji felt loved, and for once it wasn’t just a familial or obligated love. It was a tender, caring, intimate love. Love that made his heart beat fast, his brain fuzzy, and always catches his breathe in his throat.
He always a had a choice with you.
He had a choice in if he wanted to love you, if he wanted you to love him.
And he did, wholeheartedly. For once in his life, he felt like he had control in a relationship.. he wasn’t being used, he wasn’t being gawked at, he was being looked at with pure adoration and love.
The boy felt like crying, out of joy from the intimate moments he shared with you.
You had no ulterior motives, you just wanted him.
Denji.
Not the chainsaw man, not a stupid guy with nothing, not a naive no morals guy.
You kissed his shoulder, taking him out of his reflection.
“Can you lay down?”
Leaving a ghostly kiss on his cheek, you obliged and laid down. Holding his hands as he sat atop of you. Despite the arousal from both of you, he still took his time running his fingers across your skin and investigating every curve and dip on your body.
Laughing lightly at the faint tickling sensation, you let him continue his little journey.
“When you’re ready, it’s in the drawer.”
Nudging your head, he momentarily gazed at the bedside drawer. Denji laid down on you, bare skin warm to the touch and he felt your heart beat against his as he kept his chin up to look at you. Wrapping your arms around him, he sighed in content feeling your hands against his bare skin.
While he laid there, his arm stretched to the drawer and struggled getting the lube and condoms out. Gazing at him, you let him control what to do. He kissed your jaw before sitting up again, smirking when he saw your dick spring up at the release from being pressed between the two of you. Slipping a condom out of the box, he ripped the package and slowly unrolled it over your head and secured it down your shaft. Denji kissed you again, passing you the lubricant- squirting some in his own hands before he let you.
Denji liked to help himself out before he let you properly prep him, it was more of a mental thing for him so you let him do it. Your boyfriend groaned, wiggling around on top of you.
It took him a few minutes but when he laid down on your chest, he saddled his ass up in the air for you. You kissed his forehead and praised him, making him blush and smile stupidly against your chest.
Taking a generous amount of lube in your hand, you warmed it between your fingers before letting the excess drip onto his ass.
“Are you ready?”
“Yes..”
Gently, you circled his rim and took note of how it puckered on contact. Sliding in a finger, Denji sighed out and closed his eyes. Putting in a second finger, you started to stretch out his tight, gummy walls. His ass tensed and released with every thrust your fingers made, and he softly moaned into your skin while he adjusted.
You prepped him thoroughly, never wanting to hurt him or make him feel rushed. Only when he became warm and comfortably loose did you lower his hips.
“Do you think you can handle this? We can stop if you’d like.”
Nuzzling into his blonde hair, he nodded and moved himself to where his ass would meet your dick. You took in a deep breathe, sliding yourself into his prepped but still taught ass.. he grimaced slightly but sighed in relief at the quick adjustment.
Despite the lazy position and non-caring attitude, Denji felt himself in ecstasy, being filled by you was one of the few pleasures he could never get enough of- one of the only indulgences that he craves.
You thrusted up into him, relishing in the soft sounds he made- he reached up to catch your lips and with that you sat up with him still in your lap. Sitting against the headboard of the bed, he began rolling his hips in tune with your thrusts.
He moaned in your mouth, lazily kissing you in between his moans. Moving your hand, you wrapped it around his dick and softly pumped it in your hand. Denji pulled away and moved to bite down on your shoulder, his breathe heavy and hot against your skin.
Denji felt fulfilled, he was safe in your embrace and you were taking full care of him in such a vulnerable state.
Your boyfriend was quick to let out a whimpering groan, feeling his dick tense before he came. The cum pumping out in strings onto your hand.
“Do you still want to continue?”
“I want you to finish.”
He sighed, nuzzling into your neck and wrapping his arms around you. You picked up the pace, not too much, but just enough to chase your own orgasm so your boyfriend could rest and not get too overstimulated.
He moaned, clutching you tighter and letting his nails prick at your skin.
“I’m almost done.. just a few more minutes..”
Quickly, you finished yourself and pulled out of him slowly. Taking off the condom and tying it off before throwing it away in the bin beside the bed.
“You okay now? Know that I love you and won’t take anyone else?”
Teasing him, you pecked his nose and he pouted.
“You better not.. just.. don’t talk to Yoshida too much until I tell everyone.. okay?”
He couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit embarrassed, but he got over it when you agreed and didn’t make him feel bad about it.
You were helping him explore these complex emotions, not teaching because he didn’t need to be taught how to have them, but to be shown how to work with them. To cope.
You both knew that he would never tell you to shut up again, even if there were no actual repercussions from you it just.. wasn’t something to be said to your boyfriend. He didn’t want to be mean to you, and you wanted to understand him.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
This scene in Meta Fiction is amazing. They’re not even in the same city and yet they are having a moment. I find it funny though that Cas is talking to both Dean and Sam about the sign he found that’s attracting angels and then when Dean answers his question about the honour bar they start to have a private conversation and they both look soooo happy. Cas asks Dean how he is. Cas doesn’t know about Dean having the mark of Cain on his arm yet and he never once asked Sam how he is so he just wanted to talk to Dean alone. Sam is still sitting right there next to Dean and you can tell he’s thinking do you two realize I’m still here. Sam then talks to get the conversation back to the sign and you can see Dean is a bit annoyed.
Tumblr media
I have no idea if this is the real Gabriel or not but at this point Cas thinks it is. Gabriel called Cas Deans boy toy and Cas just smiled and then rolled his eyes then when Cas asked about what Gabriel has seen he said you mean after it was raining winged men hallelujah? The song It’s Raining Men is a gay song so it sounds like Gabriel (if it’s really him) or Metatron (since in the episode he wrote this scene) is calling Cas gay. Thing is it’s hard to tell if Cas knows about the song or not. Knowing Cas he probably doesn’t so he probably didn’t pick up on that. Obviously all the angels know about Cas and Dean so it’s not a big thing for an angel to call Cas Deans boy toy or gay but usually he gets a bit shy when someone says something this time he didn’t which leads me to think maybe he talked to the real Gabriel about Dean. They are brothers and by the sounds of it Cas seems pretty comfortable around him. There were some funny scenes with them like Cas not paying attention in the store and Gabriel having to turn his head for him which I’ve read was unscripted because Misha wasn’t paying attention so Rich (I believe I got his name right) just moved his head for him. It would be nice to have him in more scenes with Cas and Dean because I have a feeling he’d be like Sam knowing about them and letting them have their moments but he’d probably come out and say I’m still in the room.
Tumblr media
This is cute. Dean is worried to death about Cas since he hasn’t called or texted him and he put the GPS on Cas phone. I’m assuming after what happened when Cas was human and all the angels were trying to kill him and by the time Dean and Sam got to him he got killed that Dean decided that wasn’t going to happen again so he put the GPS on Cas phone so he could get to him before other angels could. It’s funny though that Sam is wondering what happened to Cas but he’s not worried and when Dean tells him to go find Cas Sam is like I don’t want to go.
Tumblr media
Cas knew there was something different about Dean but he didn’t know what until Dean touched him. I’d like to know if Cas felt like a burning or something from the mark of Cain or if he just somehow knew because he just grabbed Deans arm and pulled up his sleeve.
Tumblr media
I love this part in ep 22 because it shows how much Cas has changed. Finding out that angels are killing other angels because they think Cas told them to makes him feel sick. It just shows how different he is from other angels because the other angels probably wouldn’t care.
The next two scenes are a great example of Sam knows. Cas says that he would never make an angel die to kill another angel and he is hurt that Dean thinks that he would and that Dean brought up the time Cas thought he was god. Sam has to get Cas and Dean into another room away from the angels and tells Dean basically that that’s in the past and then when Cas and Sam are in the car together Sam has to calm Cas down telling him that it’s the mark making Dean act that way.
Tumblr media
This scene proves that it’s the mark that made Dean say that stuff because here Dean tells the reaper that what she said about Cas doesn’t sound like the Cas he knows. Which means he knows Cas has done some bad stuff in the past (they all have) but he also knows that Cas has changed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don’t loose it over one man. She could mean the army but she could also mean falling in love. Dean doesn’t look scared at all. He knows Cas wouldn’t hurt him. Cas couldn’t kill Dean when he was being mind controlled and being told to kill Dean there’s no way in hell he’d be able to kill Dean when he’s himself. Cas doesn’t even think about it he grabs the sword and says he can’t.
Tumblr media
This scene is interesting because they both already admitted to themselves that they love the other but here it’s like they know that the other loves them but they are choosing to ignore it because they are scared. Dean went from yelling at Sam, telling him that they aren’t a team that its a dictatorship and that he is in charge to literally two seconds later talking nice and sweet to Cas telling him that the three of them will fight Metatron and being worried about Cas stolen grace. Cas has very good hearing being an angel so he had to of heard Dean and Sams conversation and heard how different Dean talked to him as opposed to how he talked to Sam. Cas asked Dean if he really thought he told the angels to kill other angels and Dean said you just gave up an army for one man no I don’t think you did that. Clearly they know what’s going on. Lastly when Gadreel came in the room Dean almost ran to get between Cas and Gadreel. Cas is a strong angel even with stolen grace and yet Dean still wants to protect him. I have no idea how strong Gadreel is but I’m sure he’s stronger than a human.

(Part II of my seriously condensed 9-1-1 fic is here! Hope people enjoy, even though it's all a bit rushed!)
Part I
Sunday afternoon, Father’s Day. It’s always a hard day for Bobby, but usually, working helps him get through it. Today has been ... worse, and not just for him. Bobby finds Eddie on the couch, staring blankly into nothing. Bobby sits down beside him, a silent invitation to talk. Eddie doesn’t always take him up on it.
Today, Eddie says, “He hasn’t called,” and Bobby reminds him the day isn’t over yet. Eddie asks, “What if he doesn’t call?” and Bobby reminds him about tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that.
“Every day you’re both alive is another chance to make things right,” Bobby says. “Don’t give up on tomorrow just yet, Eddie.”
Buck comes by then, and Eddie takes off to give the two some space. Buck says, “So, I had dinner with my parents the other night.” Bobby asks how it went, and Buck says, “Yeah, not great. They had, uh. A lot to say about me, you know. Going through a gay phase, or something. Wanting attention. Getting too old for, I don’t know. Making stuff up, I guess.”
Bobby nods. Cautiously, he says, “Sounds to me like they still don’t know you very well.”
Buck huffs a quiet laugh. “Yeah. Thing is, everything they said ... it’s all stuff I’ve thought too, you know? Like, I’ve always done stupid things to get people’s attention. Their attention, Tommy’s. Yours. And if ... if what I’m feeling, who I am, is ... is real ... how could I have not known before, right? And I, I do know how I feel about Tommy—I like him so much, Bobby, you don’t even know—”
Bobby knows. Everyone knows. Buck’s joy is not subtle; it shines through him, a thing to behold.
“—but sometimes I still—” Buck breaks off and sighs. “Well, maybe that’s why I reacted so badly last night. Cause sometimes, I worry they’re right.”
“They’re not,” Bobby says immediately.
“How do you know that?”
And Bobby hesitates, not sure Buck is going to want to hear this right now. But still, he says, “Because I know you, kid.”
“Yeah,” Buck says, smiling a little. “You do. Bobby, I’m. I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have to—”
“I do. Cause that night we talked about Tommy? You didn’t ask me to, to explain myself, or suggest maybe I wasn’t thinking things through. You didn’t need me to prove anything. You just accepted it, Tommy and me. You accepted me.” Buck shakes his head. “I told this to Maddie once, but sometimes it’s easier to lash out at the person you know is always going to forgive you. My parents, that’s not them, never will be. But you, uh. You’re safe.”
Bobby swallows a little at that. He wants to be that person for Buck—but Bobby know he isn’t, can’t be. He’s the reason his family is dead; he’s the reason so many people are dead.
“I know I hurt you,” Bobby says. “If I hadn’t left the way I did, Gerrard would never have been captain, and—”
“You think this is about Gerrard? Maybe you don’t know me as well as you thought.” But Buck’s voice is teasing, lessening the sting. “Yeah, I mean, working under Gerrard was ... rough, for a lot reasons. But that’s not ... Hen was the one mad at you for that.”
Bobby is aware. Hen had forgiven him pretty quickly, but her attitude towards Bobby on his first day back had been ... cool, to say the least. Bobby understands why, had prepared himself for Hen’s anger, potentially Chimney’s, too. They both went through a lot, working under Gerrard the first time around. Bobby had expected them to be upset.
He’s not sure why he hadn’t expected Buck to be.
“I’m not mad about Gerrard,” Buck tells him. “I’m mad that you lied. You—you were saying goodbye all day, only we didn’t know, I didn’t know. And you just—you were just going to leave?”
“I didn’t want—”
“You didn’t want us to change your mind,” Buck says, now visibly upset. “You—you said goodbye, Bobby. I didn’t realize it then, what you were doing, but—if you were gone, if you left, and I could have done something to stop it, stop you from, from—"
And Bobby realizes suddenly that Buck isn’t just talking about Bobby quitting.
“Hey,” Bobby says. “Listen. I’m not going anywhere, okay?”
“For how long?” Buck asks, and it’s not mockery this time. It’s pleading. Anxious. Young. For as much Buck has been through, for as much progress he’s made over the last seven years, Bobby is struck every now and then by how young Buck still is.
“That’s not up to me,” Bobby says and points up, skyward, at the man upstairs. “And listen, Buck, I won’t deny I was ... I was in a pretty dark place a couple of months ago. I should’ve been more honest about that. But I’m here, and I mean to stay here as long as I can. Okay? I’m not going anywhere without a fight, I promise.”
Buck inhales, a deep, shuddery breath, and Bobby hugs him, and Buck hugs Bobby back.
“I’m sorry,” Buck says again. “I think, maybe. I think I’ve just been really scared.”
Bobby hugs him a little tighter and says, “I’ve got you. I’ve got you, kid.”
Footsteps on the stairs interrupt them a few minutes later. “Not to break up this long overdue moment,” Chimney says, “but Buck, you’ve got another visitor.”
Buck turns with a little dread, expecting his parents and not sure he’s ready to face them just yet—but it’s Maddie. This time, it’s Bobby and Chimney who disappear downstairs to give the Buckley siblings some space.
Maddie tells Buck that their parents are flying home. “I told them to go,” she says. “And not to come back.”
“Chimney told you,” Buck realizes, resigned and more than a little annoyed.
“Of course, he did,” Maddie says. She’s slightly exasperated but mostly worried. “Why didn’t you?”
She thinks he’ll say something about not wanting to ruin Maddie’s relationship with their parents or Jee Yun’s relationships with her grandparents, and Buck does lead with that. But mostly, Buck’s ashamed of how he petty it was, bringing up Daniel. “I didn’t want you to think that I, I resented him,” he says. “I really don’t, Maddie. He was just a kid, and he never got the chance to grow up and, and I wish I could’ve given him that chance. I wish I could’ve met the person he would’ve become.”
“I know,” Maddie tells him, and reminds him that it’s not his fault; it was never his responsibility to save Daniel. Buck says he doesn’t blame their mom for slapping him after what he said, and Maddie, steely, says, “Well, I do. For that, and also for how they talked to you—no, it’s not okay. What if Jee grows up and realizes she likes both boys and girls someday? I don't want Mom talking to her like that. Do you?"
Buck recoils a little, and Maddie nods. “Would you be okay if Mom ever hit Jee Yun?” she asks. “Even if she said something terrible? Even if she deserved it?”
“She could never deserve it,” Buck says, knowing what Maddie’s doing but unable to keep quiet, not when his sister looks so upset, not with the ghost of Doug so heavy in the air. He hates to think of how many times Doug must have told Maddie that she was to blame for everything he did to her. “But Maddie, I don’t think Mom or Dad would ever—”
“Maybe not,” Maddie says, “but that doesn’t make them safe. They screw up, and they always feel bad about it, but they never really apologize. They never put in the work. They just ... make excuses and expect that we’ll forgive them, but I think I’m done with that now. I’m done with relationships where it’s only my responsibility to try harder, to smooth things over, to say the right thing, to always forgive. Maybe someday, if Mom and Dad actually work on themselves, but for right now ..." Maddie shakes her head. "Enough is enough.”
Buck gets that, he does. But he admits he isn’t sure he’s ready to cut off his parents yet, isn’t sure he wants too. He still wants to keep trying, and Maddie says that’s okay. What matters is, they still have each other. And she won’t try to change his mind if he doesn’t try to change hers.
Buck offers her a pinky swear. Maddie smiles and hooks her finger around his.
*
Meanwhile, downstairs, a phone rings.
“Christopher?” Eddie says, and takes a few steps, turning away from everyone.
It is Christopher. He calls to wish his dad a happy Father’s Day, but also to say he loves him, and while he’s not quite ready to come home yet, he still wants to come home, and maybe soon.
“I miss you,” Christopher tells him. “I don’t want to miss you anymore. But you have to stop lying to me.”
“I can do that,” Eddie promises.
“And go back to therapy.”
Eddie laughs. “Already on top of that one, bud. Maybe ... we could go together, sometime, when you come home?”
“Yeah,” Christopher says. “I’d like that. I love you, Dad.”
“Love you too, Chris,” Eddie says. He hangs up, takes a breath before turning around, and announces, “Christopher called!" as if everyone—including Maddie and Buck, leaning over the balcony—weren’t badly pretending not to eavesdrop.
Everyone cheers and rushes Eddie.
“What did I tell you?” Bobby asks him. “What did I tell you?” Hen asks, too, and Eddie says, “Yeah, yeah,” to both of them, with wet eyes and a shaky, hopeful smile.
“This calls for champagne!” Chimney announces. “But since we’re all on duty ... cheap coffee and leftover Ding Dong, Gerrard is Gone cake it is!”
—All in all, it’s the best Father’s Day the 118 has had in a long, long time.
(And that's it! Apologies, fellow Tommy fans, that he didn’t make it into Part 2—but you know. If Tommy’s at the fire house, who’s flying the plane? Actually, Tommy’s too busy babysitting Jee Yun, and—to both Buck and Chimney’s horror—introducing her to all the worst Star Wars movies. She loves them.)

Poly Relationships Aren’t A Plot Device!!!
Bit if a warning: Angry rant with sloppy points and writing but Idc here you go
The thing about poly relationships, is we get no goddamn healthy rep whatsoever, and the rest of the LGBTQI+ community treat us like a weird dog-rat hybrid. Yes I know this is a bit extreme but at least hear me out before jumping in to be like, “That’s not true!!” especially if you’re not poly so therefor have no idea what our viewpoint is like.
To begin, the only rep we ever have in movies or TV or books is boiled down to a plot device, a trope, a love triangle, or simply just sexual. The only time I’ve seen poly relationships in movies and TV is literally just sexual— sexual and cheating. It’s always “I caught my husband with two other girls at once!” Or “Oh I’m cheating on you but let’s force this to work…” Or just overall shit communication and unrealistic issues.
Wanna know what that has done to poly relationships irl?
Everyone assumes it’s some kink thing, or that we are all cheaters, or that it’s all unfaithful and full of lies and jealousy. The amount of people who will hear of an actual poly relationship and go, “Oh you do it for the sex” is WILD.
But wanna know where we’ve heard this sorta assumption before?
For gay and lesbian relationships before better rep was given to it. Do y’all remember when being gay was reduced to just sex stuff by that majority? Poly relationships are STILL THERE. Yeah there’s people who will actually realize that it’s not all sexual, but so many people hear about poly relationships and assume it’s a kink.
Hell, anytime I look up definitions for poly relationships, it always seems to mention “but there’s usually a sexual aspect to that!” ???? NO?? Me and my partners are literally asexual ??
And I’m not shitting on people who are poly for the sex but that’s the same exact thing as like… ANYONE being any sexuality due to… the sex of it. It’s not exclusive to just poly relationships. But for some reason, we are looked at as different than the rest of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Another note is the common phrases and questions asked to poly people in response to saying we are poly. Such as:
- “Oh do you have a favorite?” Obviously harmful?? That’s fucked up??
- “Don’t you get jealous?” ???? Just don’t ask this??
- “Who is the third wheel?” Again just fucked up so stfu
- “Oh it could never work for me, you do you though.” While it seems respectful, if you think deeper about it, there’s no reason to say it in this way. No shit it wouldn’t work for you because you’re not poly. Do you see me going around saying, ‘Oh I could NEVER be a lesbian… you do you though.’ Obviously not because I’m not a lesbian like? I wouldn’t just start listing labels I’m not and ending it with that. “You do you” okay be fr and just say you’re polyphobic lmao
- Or just overall bringing up every single failed poly relationship to compair it to ours. Stop. Nobody cares.
Idk just I’m gonna post this because some of y’all piss me off, always sexualizing a valid label or calling it a trope and kink. Fight me in the comments and let’s see how many people are just polyphobic and small minded lmao.

The Subtleties of Steve Harrington Part 3
These next parts a little on the rougher side emotionally. But his friends aren’t trying to be malicious they just don’t have all the facts.
Part 1 Part 2
*
The morning before
“Come on, Nancy,” Robin said. “It’ll be fun!”
“It’s a gay bar, Robin,” Nancy protested. “Only you and Eddie will feel comfortable there.”
Jonathan scoffed. “I’ve been to a gay bar before. You might have to fob off a couple of advances but just tell them you’re in a relationship and they tend to leave you alone.”
Nancy frowned. “When did you go to a gay bar?”
“Out in a California,” Jonathan admitted. “And it was by accident. But yeah. It’s lots of fun.”
“I guess it’ll be okay,” Nancy sighed. “At least I’ll have Jon and Steve to keep me company in being straight in a gay bar.”
Jonathan who had been taking a drink, spit it out.
Nancy came running over patting his back. “Are you all right?”
After he had finished coughing he gave Nancy a hug and kissed her temple. “Love, Steve isn’t straight.”
Nancy pushed him away. “Yes, he is.”
“No. He’s. Not,” Robin said and then turned to Jonathan. “I didn’t realize he had come out to you, though.”
Jonathan just chuckled. “I never said he did. But it’s really obvious has a thing for both.”
Nancy frowned. “But I’ve only ever seen him date girls.”
“And when would he have been able to date guys?” Robin asked. “It’s scary enough being a lesbian, but believe me when I say that right now, being a gay man is a death sentence either from within or from without.”
Jonathan nodded. “He’s got a crush on Eddie, love.”
Nancy’s frown deepened, now faced with proof she went digging through he memories. Starting with the Upside Down bullshit.
“Oh.”
Robin cocked his head and grinned. “Yeah. Oh.” She gave Nancy a hug. “If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t see until I was told either.”
Jonathan’s eyebrows shot up. “How?”
Robin blushed. “Let’s just that Steve’s gaydar is way better than mine. Mine is practically broken.”
Jonathan just shook his head.

One Week After
“I’m telling you, dumb ass,” Erica growled at Lucas, “there is no way that Steve is dating Eddie.”
Lucas threw his arms in the air. “What would it take for you to see it?”
El tilted her head to the side. “You can like boys and girls?”
Erica rolled her eyes. “Well, duh. Of course that’s a thing.”
“Hey!” Max growled. “She didn’t know.”
Erica mumbled her apology. “It’s just Steve. The man is the slut.”
Max rolled her eyes. “And that precludes him from liking guys, how?”
Erica sighed. “It doesn’t. Honest! But Eddie? Eddie is one and done kind of guy. I just can’t see them together.”
El tilted her head. “Not true.”
Erica raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me?”
El smiled sweetly. “Steve may like sex, but he is clearly is a romantic. If he found someone who loved as deeply and as strongly as he does, he would be a one and done, too.”
Erica grumbled. “Yeah, I guess.”
Max rolled her eyes again. “Look, Steve has never been straight the entire time I’ve known him and the fact that he and Eddie are together is super cute.”
Lucas raised his eyebrows. “Thank you for the assist, but holy hell, how did you see it and I didn’t? I had to told.”
Max looked down at her hands. “Billy.”
Lucas sat down hard. “Oh fuck.”
Max lifted her head and waved her hands. “He wouldn’t, he didn’t. But I could tell Steve would have been down to fuck. Like once: to get it out of his system or whatever.”
“But, it’s Billy...” Lucas said, anguished.
“You can hate someone and still find them attractive, love,” Joyce said from the doorway.
Lucas looked up. “Hey, Mrs Byers.”
Joyce smiled softly at him.
“This doesn’t get out this room, you hear me?” Max said. “Steve doesn’t know I know about Billy. It would kill him if it got out. He hates the fact he was attracted to Billy.”
“And I don’t doubt,” Joyce said gently, “that after getting his had bashed in by the guy that whatever feelings he had went up in smoke. Because he would pick you kids over literally anyone else.”
El looked up at her and smiled. “Except Eddie.”
Joyce softened even further. “No, baby girl. I think even then. If Eddie asked Steve to chose between you kids and him, Steve would pick you kids every time.”
“But Eddie would never ask,” Max said firmly.
Joyce smiled. “No. He never would.”

One Month Later
Jim Hopper was used to having his world rocked. Ever since Sara died, he had taken hit after hit. He should be used to it by now.
But no, it seemed the universe had one more surprise left for him.
They had been having barbecues at Steve’s house all summer and Hopper wanted one at his new place (oh so wonderfully supplied by the US government).
So on a lovely July evening he invited everyone over. Even the Munsons. Not that Hop had a problem with Wayne Munson, not exactly. Wayne was a good man and really tried his best to raise a troubled kid all on his own. And now that he had El, he could sympathize a lot more.
No, Hop thought with a heavy sigh. It was Eddie Munson that was problem. He was all too familiar with Refer Rick and his favorite dealer.
And it was because said dealer was dealing the night Chrissy Cunningham died that he got roped into all this shit.
Of course, Joyce had wheedled him to inviting them. Because the kids loved him. Eddie Munson was the Pied Piper as far as Jim Hopper was concerned. Sweet and charming. Laughing and playing with the kids. Letting them be kids. Immediately treating El and Will like they had always been a part of the group. He did take a little bit longer to warm up to Jonathan. Though admittedly that had been a two-way street on that one.
Steve, Dustin, hell, even the kid himself had all told Hop that he didn’t deal anymore. He had been scared literally straight.
But the inner cop in Hop had trouble believing it.
But he had promised Joyce and El that he would play nice and limit the growling to things he was actually doing wrong and not just growling in general.
This though? This was the last straw. He had finally been proved right about the kid when he caught Eddie cornering Steve behind the tree.
Hop grabbed Eddie by the scruff and hauled him off of Steve.
“Hey!” Eddie and Steve protested.
Joyce and Dustin came running, both hoping to defuse this before anyone else came over.
“Jim!” she hissed. “Put Eddie down.”
Hop looked at everyone’s faces and started to wonder if he misread the situation.
“Yes, Hop,” Steve through gritted teeth. “Please unhand my boyfriend.”
Hop glared at him. “Boyfriend?”
Joyce sighed. “I think you forgot to tell Jim something, love.”
Steve and Eddie blinked as Dustin threw his arms in the air.
“You, doofus,” he said, fondly and then turned to Hop. “Steve and Eddie have been dating for a month.”
Hop’s jaw dropped. “Steve’s gay?”
“Bisexual,” Steve explained. “I don’t know how people keep having that reaction, honestly.”
Dustin grinned. “Heterosexual goggles.”
Eddie laughed and ruffled Steve’s hair. “This should have been the first clue our Stevie liked the boys.”
Steve yelped and darted away as everyone but Hop laughed.
“You could do so much better than Eddie Munson,” he said, looking up in frustration. “Why?”
Steve shook his head. “No, I couldn’t.”
Eddie blushed. “Babe, you’re just saying that.”
Steve pulled him close. “No, I’m not. Everybody keeps looking at each of us with such blinders on. Seeing what they only want to see. For me, it’s a rich, straight, Christian white boy with a silver spoon in his mouth and the world at his feet. Instead of what I really am, a bisexual disaster with a minimum wage job who only knows how to protect kids from monsters.
“And then there’s you, sunshine. People see you as a criminal, Satan-worshiping cult leader, instead of the sweetest, kindest, most loving person I’ve ever met. I’m happy you’re mine.”
Eddie blushed. And Hop, he flushed red too. But his was from shame. Because Steve was right. He had seen both boys that way. Let his prejudices cloud his judgment.
Those two boys had done more for this town than pretty much the entire population had it’s entire history. They deserved his respect if nothing else.
“I’m sorry I misjudged the situation and both you boys,” he grumbled. “But next time, go somewhere more secluded to make out. Please. For my sanity if nothing else.”
Eddie and Steve shared a guilty glance.
“Yes, sir,” Eddie mumbled.
“Yes, Hop,” Steve murmured.
Joyce beamed at them. “Now that we have that settled, let’s go get something to eat.”
Hop watched Eddie and Steve walked off holding hands, Eddie dancing in front of Steve.
“Sap!” Eddie called playfully.
Steve yanked on Eddie’s hand, causing the two boys to stumbled together into each others’ arms. “You love it.”
Eddie’s face got soft. “I do. I love you so much, Stevie.”
They kissed so softly it made Hop’s heart ache. It was a truly fucked up world where these two boys had hide themselves from the world to be happy.
Because, fuck. Yeah. These boys were perfect for each other.

let me show you (you can show me)
Written for @augustwritingchallenge day 21 - Coaches Buddie, 2.1k Read on AO3
Eddie came out a month ago, and Buck can’t figure out what’s holding him back. He said he wanted to date, but he won’t put himself out there, no matter how many times Hen has offered to take him out to a gay bar, or Buck’s volunteered to watch Christopher.
Buck has never offered to take him out, and he tells himself it’s just because he’s the best option to watch Chris.
Once again, Eddie is spending a friday night at home, with Buck, drinking beers and watching a movie, instead of going out.
“Alright, man, talk to me.” Buck turns to face Eddie on the couch.
Eddie frowns. “We’ve been talking all day, what do you mean?”
“What’s up with you? A month ago, you came out, and you said you were ready to start putting yourself out there.”
Eddie clears his throat, averting his eyes. “Ah, that.”
“It’s okay if you aren’t ready, you know. If you don’t want to date, you don’t have to. Just let us know, and we’ll stop.”
Eddie’s quiet for a moment, then he sets his beer down with a sigh. “It’s not that,” he says, finally. Buck waits for him to elaborate.
“I want… I do want to date. I want… all of it, you know? It’s just— remember when you said I was bad at dating, because I haven’t done it much?”
“Eddie, that was a joke! And I’m pretty sure we’ve established that wasn’t the real reason you were bad at dating women.” Buck nudges Eddie with his toe, raising an eyebrow.
“Okay, sure, but at least I had some idea what I was doing there. With men, I don’t— I mean, I’ve never…”
“You have no idea what you’re doing,” Buck finishes for him. Eddie sighs and flops back on the couch.
“Yeah, basically.”
“It’s okay to have a few terrible dates while you figure things out, Eddie. You don’t have to be good at everything right away.”
“Okay, but embarrassing myself in front of a total stranger isn’t my idea of a good time, Buck. I’d rather just stay home, like tonight.”
And Eddie looks so genuinely worried about it, so hurt, that Buck has to do something. Offer something, to help Eddie out.
“What if you could practice with someone who isn’t a stranger?”
And that’s how Buck finds himself, a week later, sitting across from Eddie in an intimate little restaurant.
On a date.
A practice date, but still a date.
He’d gone all out, even though this was supposed to be Eddie’s chance to practice woo-ing. He wants Eddie to expect the best in return, after all. So he got himself dressed up, putting his best foot forward, and he’s going to make this good.
The thing is, he’s beginning to realize that whatever Eddie’s hang-up is when it comes to dating, it’s nothing to do with his actual ability to woo a prospective partner.
Eddie is… Charming. He picked Buck up, with a bouquet of flowers in hand, and looking fucking incredible. If he wasn’t Buck’s best friend, well…
Now, sitting together in a little booth, close enough for their knees to touch under the table, Buck is struggling to remember he’s supposed to be coaching Eddie. It should be normal — like when they sit across from each other in the engine, on their way to a call, or any number of times when they’ve eaten out together, both one on one or with Chris or the team.
Except, Eddie presses his leg against Buck’s purposefully, rather than just an accidental brush, and he holds out his fork for Buck to taste the pasta he’d ordered, rather than gesturing for Buck to help himself to his plate, and when Buck talks, Eddie meets his eyes, holding his attention in a way that feels intentional.
“How am I doing?” Eddie asks, when the server brings out their desserts.
“I don’t know why you were worried,” Buck admits. “You’re probably one of the best dates I’ve had in a while.”
“Really?” Eddie takes a bite of his brownie, breaking from the flirty mask he’s been wearing all night to look pleased with himself.
Eddie insists on paying. “I picked the restaurant, you can pay next time.” He winks, and Buck momentarily forgets that this is part of the practice, and not Eddie actually suggesting a second date.
“So,” Eddie says, leaning against the truck out in the parking lot. “I sort of have a confession to make."
Buck frowns, but leans next to him. "Okay, let's hear it."
"I don't actually think I needed help with that part. If I actually want a date to go well, I know I can."
"Then, why—"
"You offered, and I figured why turn down an opportunity to practice," Eddie shrugs.
Buck laughs through his nose. Eddie, who has struggled so much in the past to accept help he so sorely needs, for him to go along with this just because Buck offered…
"What do you mean by that part?" Buck asks, the words catching on his mind.
Eddie pushes away from the side of the truck, and he's already halfway to the passenger side door when he replies, with just a "huh?"
"You said you didn't need help with that part," Buck repeats. "What part do you need help with?"
Buck gets in the driver's seat, but he doesn't put the key in the ignition.
"No part you'd want to help with." Eddie shrugs.
Buck… can't think of anything he wouldn't want to help Eddie with.
"Try me," he says. He's offered to be Eddie's coach when it comes to dating men—something he, admittedly, doesn't have all that much experience in, but he'd been good at it once. He wasn't going to back down.
Eddie faces him with a wide-eyed expression. "Really?" He asks.
Buck shrugs. "Can't hurt to ask." He starts the truck and starts driving towards Eddie's.
"It's… whatever comes next. Dates are fine, they're whatever. But, you know… I have a good time on a date, he has a good time, we're driving home… what then?"
Buck feels chest construct for a moment, realizing what Eddie's referencing.
"Well, you see how it goes." Buck keeps his eyes on the road, but it's not a long drive. "First thing is to figure out what you want to happen next."
They pull into the driveway.
"What if I want him to walk me to the door?" Eddie asks.
"Then you ask him. He might get certain ideas, though."
Eddie unbuckles his seatbelt. "And what if I want him to get those ideas?" He asks, opening the car door and stepping out.
It's a hypothetical, Buck reminds himself, but the images come to mind anyway. Eddie, kissing some strange guy goodbye, inviting him in for a night cap, kissing him again, in the kitchen where Buck cooks breakfast. Taking him by the hand, leading him past the living room, past the couch Buck's slept on so many times, into the bedroom.
"You coming in, Buck?" Eddie asks from the door. Buck turns off the engine and follows him inside.
Eddie pours himself a glass of water, and offers one to Buck.
"So, you… this date… when he walks you to your door, what do you want to happen next?" Buck asks, though he isn't sure he wants to know the answer.
"Well, that depends, I guess." Eddie sits down at the island.
"On what?" Buck asks.
"Well, is Chris home with… someone watching him? Or is he staying somewhere else?"
Buck downs his water. "Great point. Only so much you can do if Chris is here with me."
"Could be someone else with Chris," Eddie points out. "You could be busy."
"As if I'd let anything get in the way of being able to interrogate your dates," Buck snorts. Eddie just shrugs.
"If it's like tonight, though? And it's with someone I actually like, after a really good date?" Eddie gestures around him at the empty house. "Well, I know what I would want to happen. I just don't know how to get there. Or what to do."
Buck feels… warm, all of a sudden. He wonders if the AC is on the fritz again. He shrugs out of the jacket he'd been wearing.
"You need help making a move?" Buck double checks.
"I guess so."
"Well, this is a good start," Buck gestures between them. "Getting him inside the house. Of course, when it's not me he might not be so easy. You'd probably have to offer the night cap first."
"Good advice," Eddie says through a smile. "And then?"
"Well, you want to make your intentions clear," Buck starts. He gestures Eddie over, pointing to the stool next to him, pulling it just a little closer. When Eddie sits there, they're close. It's like at the restaurant, but they don't have a table between them. Buck leans in, under the guise of resting an arm on the island. "Proximity helps with that."
Eddie hums. "What about this?" He asks, resting his own arm next to Buck's, putting his hand on Buck's arm.
"Yeah, that's… that's pretty good," Buck confirms. "You should be able to tell if he's into it from here, and you can… well, maybe start with a kiss."
Buck’s eyes flick down to Eddie’s lips, without conscious thought, and he catches sight of Eddie’s tongue flicking out, playing over his lower lip.
For a moment, he thinks Eddie will do it, that he’ll follow through, and this will all go from hypothetical to real. Instead, Eddie sits back, averting his eyes to stare at his glass.
Buck is surprised by how disappointed he is at the loss
“Sorry, I… Sorry.” Eddie’s voice is thick with… something. “And if the kiss goes well?”
Buck clears his throat, reminding himself of the purpose of all of this. He’s being a good friend, coaching Eddie through — oh, shit.
He doesn’t want to do this. He doesn’t want to help Eddie feel comfortable dating men, because he wants to date Eddie.
“If the kiss goes well, I think the two of you will be able to figure the rest out for yourselves. You’ll be fine, Eddie.”
Buck stands, bringing his glass to the sink. “I should head home.”
He turns to face Eddie again, who is still frowning at his empty glass. And Buck… he can’t go. No matter how his world just turned upside down, he can’t just leave when Eddie looks like that.
“Eds, look at me.” Buck crosses back over to him, meeting Eddie’s eyes when he looks up again. Buck takes his seat beside Eddie again.
“I told you I was bad at this,” Eddie tries to joke, but the laughter he tries to force doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Trust me, you aren’t,” Buck says. “In fact, I think maybe you’re too good at it.”
Eddie frowns, then Buck catches a glint in his eye. “Why were you going to leave?” he asks.
Buck shrugs. “It’s just… It’s getting late. I figured you’d want to rest.”
Eddie shakes his head with a laugh, and this time, it’s real. “You were the wrong person to ask for help with this, Buck.”
Buck puts a hand over his heart. “What? Why?”
Eddie shakes his head. “You’re supposed to be teaching me how to impress a date,” he says.
“And we’ve established you needed very little help in that department,” Buck counters. Though, now he wonders how much of that was Eddie’s talent at dating, and how much was just Buck not realizing how head-over-heels he’s been for him all along.
“Maybe, but you said you’d help with making a move, too.”
“I don’t think you’ll need much help there, either,” Buck tries to argue.
“Well, then let me give you some advice,” Eddie suggests. He stands up, reaches out for Buck with a hand on his shoulder.
Buck swallows, looking up at Eddie. “What advice?”
“If you want someone, you should at least ask, rather than assuming you’re the only one who wants it.”
Eddie steps closer, putting himself between Buck’s legs. Buck’s own hands come to rest on Eddie’s waist. “How’d you figure that one out?” he asks, breathless.
“Well, I kept something to myself once, and then I started to think the feeling might be mutual.”
“What happened then?” Buck asks, pulling Eddie closer. Eddie’s arm moves from his shoulder to wrap around him properly, and Buck knows what’s going to happen next before it does. Eddie dips his head down, capturing Buck’s lips in a kiss.
Buck may have only figured out how he felt a matter of minutes ago, but the moment their lips touch, he knows this is it. He’s done for, and if kissing Eddie Diaz is the only thing he does for the rest of his life, he’ll be happy.

So- you don’t have to write this because I know not everyone has the same interests but a scene inspired by my cousin Vinny.
Eddie is a really fucking good mechanic while Steve is a new lawyer who hasn’t really done the best academically but is somehow really good at what he does. He’s had a decent amount of cases so far and has fucking loved every moment of his job. Except for of course the shitty things, like his clients being mistreated. Though there is this new case, where his client is being accused of murder and he has to help defend them. Most of the evidence being used revolved around a car and Steve desperately needs unbiased help. Which is how he walks into the nearest mechanic shop and meets Eddie, who fucking hates lawyers. They start off rough but once Steve explains the situation and Eddie realizes that Steve’s clients (two gay men) are at risk of losing their lives he sits down and helps. With that background for the idea the scene that I’ve been moving around my head for the last twenty minutes is Steve and Eddie practicing for Eddie’s statement on the stand. Eddie’s sitting in a terribly homemade stand and looking at Steve listening to every word he says. Steve asks the questions and Eddie is pretty much flirting back the entire time. What’s supposed to be serious ends up just being the both of them laughing, flirting and bonding together and possibly ends with a kiss so soft Steve can’t take Eddie serious the next day on the stand when he acts all tough and mean.
(Though congratulations on the 200 followers! I didn’t realize you could do something like this with ficlet requests and now I’m considering doing one of my own as I’m about to make it to a certain follower amount.)
Such a fun idea! I've never seen this film. Perhaps I should?
Anyway, please find the ficlet here! I hope you like it 💜 I had a surprising amount of fun writing this. I'd never have thought of this myself. Thank you for the prompt!
Also, yes, you definitely should do it too! I'd love that!

Hi! I have a prompt! Twilight - Tanya/Bella. Tanya realizes Bella's her mate at the wedding. She says nothing to anyone because she needs to keep the peace between the families, Bella's happy with Edward, and she's human so she can't feel the mate bond. Edward knows and tries to keep them from meeting again, but they need the Denali's help to protect Renesme. Ends with Bella&Tanya together. Angst with a happy evening is my favorite ☺️
I am in love with this idea. I am a huge fan of prolonged mating, and this is the first way that I’ve seen Bella possibly being canonically gay.
The Human Reader
Tanya was getting ready for the wedding. She knew almost nothing about the human girl Edward had fallen for but her name, Bella. She had never met the girl, and she didn’t really know what the wedding would be like. So, being from an older time period, she curled her hair and piled it on her head with a yellowish dress cascading down her pale skin. Tanya was just finishing up getting ready when Kate walked in.
“Trying to upstage the human, Tanya?” She asked jokingly. Tanya rolled her eyes. “If I was trying,” drawled Tanya. “I wouldn’t wear this puke-colored dress.” Kate just gasped.
“It is not that bad.” She exclaimed, as her own dress was the color of her skin with gems along it.
“Have you seen yourself, Kate?” Tanya asked, smiling slightly. “If you had a mate, I’d be willing to bet you’d be fully ravished tonight.” Kate blushed and looked away.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.” Kate murmured, making Tanya cackle.
“Sure, sis.” She then walked away smiling.
…
A few hours had passed, and now Tanya was at the wedding, Edward hadn’t come to say hello yet, nor had the bride appeared. She just held a glass of champagne in her hand and pretended to drink it. Kate and Irene were near her doing the same, when this blonde boy waltzed up to them. “Are you guys sisters?” He asked, it appeared to be one of the human’s friends.
“Yes. What about it?” Kate asked, her eyes trained on the mortal. Something about her expression must’ve frightened the human, as he backed up a bit, defensive in a way.
“N-nothing.” He stuttered. “You all have such beauty I wanted to know.” Once more, he stumbled over his words. Both Tanya and Kate smirked at this.
“Thank you, sweet thing.” Tanya purred and watched him go red, then stumble away muttering incoherently. Tanya  and Kate laughed and went on with their lives until the ceremony began.
Tanya was seated on Edward’s side, in the first row next to Emmett and Rosalie. The white decor was… straining, to say the least. Alice had done well with choosing decor, but it was just a white overload. It was so bad that Tanya shut her eyes, just until the wedding march sounded. She stood like the rest and looked back at the bride. When Tanya was expecting to find an insignificant human girl, she instead found her breath hitching, and the world shifting. Her eyes widened slightly and her smile fell. One word was berating her brain.
  Mate.
She made her eyes unfocus, and she put her face back into the smiling position. No one had noticed what happened, and she would make it stay that way. The human was not hers to claim, Bella was happy with Edward. What more did she need? She couldn’t even feel the bond as a human, it was better if she didn’t say anything. Tanya had been alone for centuries, what would a lifetime be like? The rest of the wedding was a blur to her, even speaking to Bella, she couldn’t hold a conversation long without wanting to scream. She left in the night soon after.
I’m making a part two, it’s just been two days since this was asked for. Sorry for the wait! I’ll try to have part two out within a week!

Can I just have some good hcs? I need emotional support rn 😭😭
HI OF COURSE SORRY I DIDN’T ANSWER EARLIER
race has adhd, right? and because he’s also gay as hell, he has that certain audacity that says if he really tries, he believes he can do just about anything. so when he was, like, six, he taught himself the basics of morse code for shits and giggles. then he forgot about doing it, and so he never learned any more. when he became friends with albert, they learned a little bit more together, so they’d be able to communicate without other people knowing (stuff like help, no, I’m bored, this bitch, etc.) they continued using that method for years. and then they met spot, it seemed natural to include him, too. so their vocabulary expanded, and they just started talking without using words, saying things (again) like help, get me out of here, this bitch, and; I love you.
when charlie became crutchie, he decided that no one else had to know who he used to be. jack did, of course, because jack had been francis, but that was different. he became a newsie, made friends, made family. still, he was crutchie. this wasn’t weird, or bad, because most newsies had nicknames, but most newsies had names, too. but crutchie was just crutchie. so when les asked ‘d’you still have a real name, too?’ one day in the penthouse, he froze a bit. because he did, of course he did. but crutchie was crutchie, and charlie was gone. he whispered back, ‘I don’t know. I don’t think so.’ les simply nodded and said, ‘okay. let me know if you get one.’ crutchie cried a little bit that night. over a year later, after kids had come and gone, the seasons had changed and come again, les and crutchie were in the penthouse again. les was reading and crutchie was fiddling with his crutch. ‘charlie’ he whispered. les glanced up. ‘charlie’, he said a little louder. ‘that’s my real name.’ les looked like he understood. he moved over and held out a hand to shake. ‘nice ta meetcha, charlie. I’m les.’
jack and davey once had a big fight. I mean, obviously, all couples do. but they fought, and then they didn’t speak to each other for a solid week. race was beside himself. ‘jackie, jackie, no- listen to me. listen. you NEEDS to talk to davey. don’t look at me like that. dave needs you. we needs dave. c’mon. please.’ jack, being the emotionally stunted man-child he is, did absolutely jack shit. so race turned to davey. ‘dave. dave, davey, please. look, I know he’s an idiot. believe me, I do. I’ve been putting up with the knucklehead for years, I get it. but we’s fallin apart, dave. the kids need you and jackie. I know that’s not fair to say. but its the truth. just- please. talk to him. hit em for all I care. just make this better.’ they were back together within two hours. (racetrack higgins can work MIRACLES when he tries.)
jack once called medda mom while painting a set. it was casual, a thrown over the shoulder kind of thing, and he didn’t even realize what he had said. but medda sure did. and she went home and thanked a lord that she had done nothing but screamed and yelled at for the better part of fifteen years for jack kelly, and the sheer good and happiness he brought into her life.
elmer, splasher, slasher, magnet, graves, and their siblings having a weekly family dinner that everyone is required to attend. swipe has an invitation extended to them every week. slasher hates it.

Chapter 3
TW: Description of a panic attack, mention of past su1cid3 attempt
Nico wouldn’t say that he was a pessimist, but after the awkward run-in with SunBoy last night he would be lying if he said he didn’t run back home and barged into Hazel's room.
The past day had been alright. Turns out Hazel wasn’t a bitch, just an introvert who quite literally had no idea what to do with a big brother, and honestly, Nico wasn’t sure how to behave now either. He knew, realistically, that they would never have a ‘normal’ sibling relationship, but he still hoped, somewhere deep down, that they might become somewhat normal over town.
Hazel was nice, and Nico liked most of her friends. Frank wasn’t too bad either. Apparently he was just shy with a resting bitch face.
However kind her friends may be, Nico knew that he would never feel safe with them. You know when you meet a new person, and you badly want you to click, but something is just a little bit off? That’s how Nico felt with Hazel's friends, but it would work. He really just needed to get through two years, and then he’d graduate and be able to move back home, and go back to his solitude. That was a safe plan, and he’d stick to it. He wasn't going to let some half sister get between him and his goal, and he definitely wouldn’t let a guy ruin it for him.
He’d let guys ruin things for him since even before he realized he was gay. There was the italian guy in the playground in preschool, the mysterious foodie in middle school, and numerous other crushes that he had promised never to tell anyone about. Well, he’d told Bianca, but that didn’t count. He’d told Bianca everything.
He never ended up telling his mom though. She had a tendency to be a bit old fashioned, and Nico didn’t want to risk losing her. He had planned to tell her once he had moved out, but that was before the accident.
Sometimes he found himself talking out loud, as if his family was still with him. Sometimes he cried, because he wished it would’ve been him and not them. Bianca was a genius, both academically and socially. Nico had always just been her weird little brother, who cut his own hair because he hated hairdressers, and only wore clothes a size too big, because he didn't want anyone to look at him. She had a bigger reason to live. Nico was just… kind of there. Didn't do much, didn't say much, and didn’t make much of an impression on anyone.
That’s why he had been so uncomfortable when he saw that Will was watching him in the graveyard. That was Nico at his most vulnerable, and Will had forced himself into his bubble.
“You will not believe what just happened!” He thumped down on Hazel's bed, realizing a little too late that Hazel was in the middle of a facetime call with Annabeth.
“Good evening to you too Nico” she replied with a sigh. It looked like Annabeth was about to say something, but Nico interrupted her.
“Not now Annabeth, this is a missing-fathers-only conversation”. Annabeth opened her mouth, probably to protest, but Nico leaned over Hazel and hung up the phone.
“Nico, I swear to god, if this is not super important I will kill you. We were busy talking”
“Yeah, yeah, Luke’s an asshole, I’ve heard” Hazel glared at him, but Nico just rolled his eyes. He’d had enough of hearing about Luke, especially when no one seemed to want to tell him what he had actually done that was so bad.
“So I was in the graveyard-”
“No normal person hangs out in the graveyard.” Hazel interrupted.
“Shut up. As I was saying, I was in the graveyard,” He felt his breathing speed up and his limbs starting to vibrate. “And I’m talking to Bianca and mom” He felt like a weight was put over his chest “and then all of a sudden Will fucking Solace is there and he’s watching me, and probably thinking I’m crazy, and I really don’t want him thinking that because I’m not crazy, or am I?” He tried to form more words, but his mouth was so dry, and it was like all of a sudden no words made sense, and he couldn't form sentences, he felt like his head was being dunked underwater, and Hazel seemed to seep further and further away.
He could see her opening her mouth, watched her talk, but he couldn’t hear her, and then she was gone and he was left alone in her room. It seemed to shrink more and more as every second ticked by, and he was afraid it would kill him, crush him down into a fine powder, and then finally he would join mom and Bianca again, and he wouldn't be so alone.
He was so alone. So very alone. It was just him against the world.
He felt a lump form in his stomach, and before he had time to react he threw up all over Hazel’s floor. He was startled by the sound of a door slamming open, and he felt someone hold him, talking to him in a soothing voice, but he couldn't hear the words. Then a hand was pressed against his chest, and he noticed it wasn't moving. He wasn’t breathing. How do you even breathe?
The hand moved up into the air, and then down again, over and over again, until Nico realized his chest was supposed to follow it, and it did.
Slowly he seemed to come back to reality, and he realized he was sobbing. Hazel was holding him, and handed him a glass of water. She clearly didn’t know how to handle this, and Nico’s heart sank. He had just come crashing into her life, and now here she was, sitting on her floor, surrounded by his vomit, trying to comfort someone she’d known for less than a day. He realized she was speaking, but her voice was laced in concern.
“Hey, I’ve got you. I’m here.” Nico tried to answer, but no words came out, so he just leaned into her touch and cried. Cried for the first time since the funeral. Felt all of the feelings he had done his best to ignore for months.
He cried out of anger. Anger for that drunk driver who had separated him from his family.
Out of sadness, because he would never see his mom or Bianca ever again.
And out of embarrassment, because Hazel saw him like this. No one was supposed to see him like this. Not even Bianca had seen him like this. God, how he missed her. He would do anything to be with her again.
Hazel grabbed his hand, and he realized he'd been stroking the ugly, horizontal scars on his wrists. Now she was crying too. He had ruined everything, and he just wanted to sink into the ground.
Those scars were his biggest shame. He had been drunk, and angry, and sad, and willing to do anything to be with his family again. He had sworn never to do anything like it ever again
“I’m sorry,” he muttered. “I’m so fucking sorry” Hazel tried her best to steady herself before replying with a shaky breath,
“Don’t apologize for feeling things. How can I help you?”
“You can’t”
“Let me in, Nico. You don't have to be alone in this.”
And so Nico talked, and he didn't stop until the early hours of the morning. When the siblings finally fell asleep, holding each other, Nico felt a little lighter. Hazel was good. He was going to give this a chance.
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆ 𖤓 ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
Hazel's alarm went off at 6 am, and Nico rubbed his eyes desperately. It was so early, and he felt like he had only slept for a minute or two. Next to him, Hazel groaned, before falling out of her bed, letting out a little yell. Nico couldn't stop himself from laughing, and Hazel glared at him before kicking him out of her room to get dressed.
Nico took a quick shower and found some clean-ish clothes in a moving box that he had never bothered to unpack. It still smelled of his home back in Italy, and he took a minute to breathe it in before downstairs where she was met by Hazel and Marie.
He grabbed a sandwich and got into his car. It was a crappy RV, that barely even ran anymore, but he had bought it with his first paycheck, and he loved it.
Since it was his, nobody could stop him from smoking in it, so naturally, he lit a cigarette. Hazel joined him and they sat in silence as Nico finished his smoke. When he had put it out, he glanced at her, considering telling her his biggest secret.
“Don’t you even dare apologize for last night”
“I wasn’t going to! It’s just, I want to tell you something,” She raised an eyebrow at him.
“I’m gay.” Hazel hesitated for a second before replying
“Cool. Are you gonna make sure we get to school on time?” She smiled at him, and Nico mirrored her response before rushing off in a speed that definitely wasn’t legal, but he didn't care. He had a sister. He wasn’t alone. She might not be Bianca, but right now, Hazel felt just as safe.

Hello, I’m Ameera a 23 years old Muslim lesbian who is trying to come out, I’ve been in the closet with my girlfriend for way too long, because of how dangerous and hard it is to come out as a lesbian to a religious Muslim family, but me and my girlfriend have decided to do whatever it takes and risk it all to come out, do you mind supporting and encouraging us?, though I know we all have what we dealing with, so I’m not imposing we just need all the support and encouragement we can get, check my pinned post for more information on how you can support, if you are a Muslim queer and you are out, please help with tips on how to make it less complicated, any word of advice is also really needed, we really wanna come out but we need y’all 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ pride please come through for us, I believe pride is for all
Hi Ameera!
I saw on one of your other posts that you already have an exit strategy and are prepared to move out and cut contact should that be necessary for your safety, so I don't see any reason why you shouldn't come out if it's what you want!
I shall be wishing for your family to surprise you with acceptance and support, and for your contingencies to be unnecessary.
I am a Christian rather than a Muslim, so I can't speak to the specifics of your situation, but - if you haven't already - I'd recommend looking into what your religious text(s?) say about the LGBT+ community.
The first thing I did when I realized I was a lesbian was research.
The most I'd ever heard about gay people growing up was "gay marriage bad >:(" and even that only seemed to crop up around when gay marriage beginning to get legalized, so I looked into all of the relevant verses and tried to reconcile my sexuality with my faith.
I didn't want to go looking for validation, I just wanted answers, information, so I could gather my thoughts from there. So I looked at both sides.
The arguments I found that explained the bible as not against LGBT+ were all rooted in study and logic - meanings of words that were oversimplified in translation, historical contexts that I had been lacking prior, etc. All of it was rooted in trying to understand the original texts as and when they were written.
The arguments against LGBT+ all seemed to parrot the modern bible and "homosexuality is a sin" with no other arguments - or at least, no other arguments that could be applied only to homosexual people (example: "but gay couples can't have children!!!" yeah okay neither can infertile/sterile people and they can still get married/it isn't a sin for them to be in relationships). They were also all written with a hostile, hateful undertone (or overtone in some cases). Which. Christians are supposed to be known for our love, so any rhetoric based in hatred... and not even logic to back it? yeah. No.
The arguments explaining gay = okay were all based in love, compassion, and understanding - in logic and research.
So.
It was easy enough for me to reconcile my faith and my sexuality because, as it happens, there was nothing incompatible about the two!
(To any side b or x christians who may read this: this isn't an invite to debate, you literally cannot change my mind and also I will simply block you. This is not my Theological Discussions account)
I'm not quite sure how Islam sees the LGBT+ community in terms of religious rhetoric - from my (very) brief research the only thing I could find was a quote or two about Sodom and Gomorrah, which I've seen plenty of break-downs regarding, though what the Quran (or other Islamic texts?) says may differ.
Once you've done your research and come to terms with the information as needed (again, if you haven't already), I'd write a list of common questions and arguments you're family might make and come up with responses.
I don't know your family. They may shut down and simply tell you to get out and never return. (the worst case scenario [I hope - I don't know your family but if you think there is any possibility of physical violence I would definitely recommend either a video call - so you can see facial expressions - or staying near an exit while coming out])
They might ask you for space to think (okay scenario - kinda in limbo here).
They may surprise you with acceptance (best case scenario)
But they may ask questions and try to argue (middling case scenario).
They may ask things like why you're gay, argue that it's against your religion, etc. In this case, you have a chance to talk them into being supportive.
So.
Lists.
Brainstorm questions with your girlfriend - as many as you both can think of - and go through them. A lot of answers will be easy, some you might need to think more about/do research on (at least, that's my experience). But at least you'll both be armed with all the information you might need in the middling scenario (and it makes it harder for them to make you doubt yourselves, if that's something either of you might struggle with).
Of course, if you've already accepted the possible need to cut contact and gotten ready to move out you might've already thought of all this. Still, I hope this has been of at least some help to you, even if that's just by serving as a reminder that you aren't alone in this and that there's a community out here that supports you.
I'll be wishing you luck; I hope both you and your girlfriend get the best case scenario :)

Hi :) hope you are doing well! I really like to read what you write about, if it's not a secret what do you study/work for? How did you come to this? What drew you to the fandom?
Hi! I have been doing really well recently :) I finally started dating my best friend, I got a less-stressful job, and I actually switched majors so I study music education now! I’m in a much better place these days, thank you sm for asking <3
And for my story about joining the hxh fandom… I think it’s been almost four years now? It all started because of my brother.
At the time I had never even heard of hxh, but my brother was watching it and the first episode I saw just so happened to be the Palm and Gon date😭
I actually thought Killua was a girl at first because of his voice (it was dub) and the way he was acting over Gon (i used to be a bit ignorant, I thought very heteronormative💔) . When my brother said Killua’s a boy, my immediate realization was, “oh, so he’s gay.”
It was sort of a joke at first, but then I watched hxh from the beginning and once I got to greed island it wasn’t a joke anymore. That’s when I made my hxh instagram and it didn’t take long to find the killugon portion of the fandom.
So yeah, that’s how I got into the fandom and now I’m deep in the trenches. It’s been a long four years, and though I’m not as active anymore, I still love hxh sm and I still stand with everything I’ve said and done on my accounts. <3

If you love Jared please don’t read this.
I started watching Supernatural about 4 months ago. Never wanted to watch to watch but YouTube kept recommending Misha and Jensen con interviews and Destiel videos (I’m guessing where I love Good Omens and was watching a bunch of Crowley and Aziraphale videos the site assumed I’d like almost any gay stuff) and finally I gave in. Basically I started watching because I ended up loveing Misha especially and Jensen and wanted to see if I’d love their characters. Got a bit pissed when I found out I’d have to watch 3 seasons before Cas even comes into it but I watched anyway. First of all I’m not a fan of the first 3 seasons they remind me of the first season of Gotham before they changed to arc seasons but I like season 4. I would love to know how the hell is Jared is the star of the show? I’m not saying that because I hate the guy (which I do. He’s a 2 year old in a 40ish year old body. I also HATE how he treats Misha. I don’t care if he is the star that doesn’t give him the right to physically hurt the guy. Yes Misha lot of the times laughs it off but that’s just because he’s too nice to tell him to stop. The story that Misha and Jensen told once where Jared was really irritating Misha on set and yes Jensen joined in but I think Jensen said he noticed how upset Misha was and he stopped and the next day he apologized and said that Jared doesn’t know when he’s gone too far is just insane to me. How can an adult be so childish. It’s fine to play jokes on each other but that’s going way too far.) I’m saying it because Dean seems to be more in the show and have more stories with him plus in real life Jensen seems to do more with Supernatural. It’s just my opinion but it does seem like Jensen should be the star.
As someone who is watching these eps for the first time I can tell you there is a lot of Destiel in just the first few Cas eps. I’ve read that the first time they looked at each other with heart eyes was in the first 4 eps so I had to look for myself. The first time I noticed they looked at each other with softened eyes (wouldn’t really call it heart eyes) is the scene in the park on the benches. Then the ep Heaven And Hell is full of Destiel stuff. Sam was ready to kill all the angels he asked if the was anything that could kill angels but the look on Deans face was oh f*ck no. I’m sure he wouldn’t have a problem with killing Uriel since he doesn’t keep it a secret he hates him so obviously it’s Cas he doesn’t want to hurt. Then when the angel misses was telling Dean what it’s like being an angel and that if you don’t obey orders you get killed it’s like he understood what Cas was saying on the bench. That he’s not like the other angels and that he has questions. I think that’s when Dean started thinking about Cas differently then he did before. I found it interesting that when Uriel told Dean that Cas has a weakness and it’s that he likes Dean Dean didn’t really react. He now knows why he got out of hell. He knows Cas didn’t pick him just because he had a crush on him or anything he picked him because he was told to do it to help stop the apocalypse. The weakness part is the interesting part because you wouldn’t call someone’s friend their weakness. That’s usually when people are extremely close or family. Yet Dean didn’t react like he was disgusted or confused it was more just ok an angel likes me that’s fine. The next interesting thing is when Dean and misses kissed. Cas looked like he couldn’t handle watching it then he even turned away. I know Misha said he wasn’t playing Cas in love with Dean from the beginning it wasn’t until a little later when he realized there was something there so if that’s the case why would he react this way to Dean kissing a girl? Was it maybe Mishas actual feelings? Then at the fighting scene I love that when Dean saw that Cas couldn’t fight back he protected him. I seriously doubt Sam would’ve done that. Then at the end Cas stopped Uriel from attacking Dean. Cas has been in only a few eps and yet Cas and Dean are already protecting each other. I find that so cute. Then the little eye stare at the end was amazing.
Lastly from almost the start of the show they make gay comments about Dean. Normally it is about Dean and Sam which is absolutely disgusting considering they’re brothers but I noticed Sam just corrects the person then moves on but not Dean he keeps questioning why the person thought he was gay. He then goes and flirts with guys. Why do the writers keep putting Dean in those situations and not Sam. Obviously Dean is bi.

HIHI UM BEFORE I MAKE ANY DT POSTS here’s all of the commentary i had from doing the post-ew quests a few months ago :’>!!! JUST FOR CHRONOLOGICAL CONSISTENCY IN MY LIVEBLOG TAG….. THESE PATCHES WEREN’T MY FAVORITE BUT I HAD FUN 💛💛💛
I LOVE ZERO I LIKE HER SO MUCH AND SHE IS SO APLATONIC TO ME. 💛✨💛✨💛 even though they go the ‘ooo realizing the meaning of friendship~~’ route with her — she’s apl. i believe this in my heart. <33 (the line where a kid goes “you don’t know what a friend is???” and she goes “what. you Do?” <333)
this game honestly does fanservice so rarely that when the es.tinien working out scene came up i was likeWHAT????????????? . i feel like i dodged a bullet that they decided to do this with him instead of th.ancred or something because it would’ve been so over for me.
i enjoyed the ru.bicante and bar.bariccia fights a lot >:D!!!! ESPECIALLY THE LATTER I THOUGHT HER MECHANICS WERE REALLY FUN AND CHALLENGING, IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO LOOK UP A VIDEO GUIDE BECAUSE THE TEXT ONES WERE TOO COMPLICATED HFNSKN. <33
^*WHO* GAVE HIM PERMISSION TO SAY THIS STUPID GAY SENTIMENTAL LINE. I WAS *NOT* PREPARED FOR HIM TO GIVE THAT ANSWER I WAS SO WHFKZHKEJFKD ??????!!?!/!/? !!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
^AND THIS PART OF HIS CODEX ENTRY. OW!!!!!!!!!!!

the themes raha represents touch me more than any other character and whenever she turns towards me to say something one-on-one i’m immediately like Okkkk you’re about to try to make me cry. okay. sure. thankyou. 💛
THAN & URI BEING MYSTERIOUS WHILE ALSO GOING TO THE SAME DESTINATION IS SO. HELP. because rudy would ABSOLUTELY ask if he could invite them along or at the VERY LEAST tell them about it + how much he’ll miss them, assuming him and than would be together by now. SO THEY’D HAVE TO EITHER LIE TO RUDY OR DELIBERATELY AVOID HIM WHICH ARE BOTH SO WNFKDJFKD. idk we’ll see where the canon writing goes later or whatever. <3
and non-story related thoughts from when i was playing:!!!!
i got rudy the cool pvp background for his reaper portrait and INSTANTLY when i did a roulette someone complimented it. immediate payoff. thank u red mage in bardam’s mettle <3
i had the sweetest leveling roulette experience in vanaspati where the healer + other dps were both new and i had only done it once, we all died on the second boss except for the paladin so we were all just cheering her on & emoting at her in the chat from outside the arena EHEDFN <33. and then on the third boss it was just me and her who survived so we did it together and ough :’). she kept casting clemency + cover on me to keep me alive and i made sure to keep her in crest of time returned-range and awwh it was so fun . we won and all cheered about it afterwards ehehe <)!!!!!!!!!! <3333
so many of the songs in this game use motifs from other ones and i’m only just now noticing most of them and i’m losing my mind about it . i swear every time i start humming along to one i go WAAAAIT A SECOND…………. (the tomorrow and tomorrow lyrics are in the background of the crystarium night theme. the sharlayan themes use stuff from flow. WHERE IN TIMEE ALL SHALL AS HOPEE BE REBORNNNN. AAHHHHH)
^on a similar note, i’ve been seeing the end.walker title screen this entire time and never thought anything of it but now whenever i open it i’m like TALES OF LOSSSSS AND FIIIIIIRE AND FAIIIIITHHHHHHH 🎶🎶🎶 <333
I LEVELED ASTROLOGIAN TO LVL80 SO I DID THE SHB HEALER ROLE QUESTS AND IM SO WWWAAAHHMFKDNFK. ARDBERTTTTTT. and GIOTT. silly little smosh fanfic game
So I played this game once really early on when I was BARELY following anyone on here. I'mma bring it back because I can.
I've delved back into writing fanfic for Smosh, and I'm working on one for Whumptober (started STUPID early, like back in February, because i Do Not Trust Myself to Finish Things).
My published fics so far, I forced myself to be a little more descriptive, but most of my writing, this Whumptober project included, is super dialogue heavy, and I feel like most of my ideas come from one little dumb line of dialogue that I then build around.
So I thought it might be a fun dumb lil game for me to post some of my favorite ones I’ve written, and see if people can figure out who’s saying them/if the lines have personality.
THE LINES (line breaks are to separate the chapters, so the ones in the same groups might have a lot of the same people speaking)
“Yeah, anyone can do that. I’d like an actual challenge, thank you.”/“And I’d like a friend that’s alive, thank you.”
“Well, if you boys are done, I’m going back inside. I’m not missing out on my entire lunch to babysit you psychos.”
“You do realize, when I said I loved you to death, you weren’t supposed to take it as a challenge, right?”/“Do I look dead to you? I lived, bitch.”
"Shayne says I'm a Chosen."/"Yeah, whatever the hell that means."
"If I find out you tried this again and you die, I’m raising you from the dead, and killing you again myself.”/“The scary part is I actually believe you could pull that off.”
---
"I know I joked that I was gonna go hard, but I felt bad. I couldn’t do it. Dude, I whiffed so hard, you thought I was Keith.”
“I’m sure it looks like I got punched in the face. Because I did.”
“Hey, for an asshole, at least he’s kinda weak…”
---
“She’s gonna kill me.”/“You know, I’m not sure if you mean Zoe or Courtney, but either way, I’m inclined to agree.”
“While I’m sure there’s a weird corner of the internet that would be into watching that, we’d never do that to you.”
“See? This is what I’m talking about… stubborn idiot.”/“OUR stubborn idiot.”/“If I had the strength to fight that right now, I would.”/“And yet you love us for some reason.”/“Pretty sure there’s only one person here I’ve actually said those words to, and it isn’t you.”/“Fine, they can take care of you, then.”/“Maybe I will.” (this one was originally just the first 2 lines... it's grown and i love it all)
---
“Nobody watching will ever even know what happened, you can make up as wild a story as you want.”/“Bears?”/“The animal or the gay kind?”
“It’s not gonna make you sweat, it’s the thinnest, tiniest, shittiest blanket we have. I’m pretty sure we rescued it out of one of Spencer’s desk drawers months ago."
