Sebastian (Pressure) fluff. I need it.
"I gotta ask, do you have personal beef with those Squiddles? Because you sure like harassing them with that light of yours."
"I don't do it on purpose! If that damn Angler stopped killing the lights in every big room, maybe I could see my own hand in front of me!" You scowled up at the sea creature while standing in his humble shop.
Why was Sebastian always taunting you whenever you died to something unexpected..only to act all friendly-like in this place?
Well, you had to be grateful he was the only thing down here that wasn't trying to kill you, and that no other monsters could barge into the shop when you least expect it.
So for once, you could breathe easy..
Until he decided to remind you of those creepy squids who were somehow always in your way.
He must get a kick out of watching you perish.
"Oh of course, blame everybody except yourself." He tsked. "You have more than enough clues on how to survive each creature you encounter...but maybe they should've spoonfed all the details to you instead-"
"I don't need this from you." You huffed. "My damn hands are cramped from holding a locker shut against Pandemonium, Eyefestation gave me a killer headache, nobody bothered to tell me about the people in the walls-"
"And don't forget about those Squiddles, hehe."
Silence.
"Okay, okay. I've had my fun. I'll shut up about them now."
"Thanks. You have any medkits available?"
"Right on my tail, buddy. Hope you got enough data."
"More than enough." As your eyes surveyed the items strapped to his tail, they eventually wandered over to the desk with batteries laying out.
But it wasn't them that caught your interest, but rather the file on the table. 'How curious..is this for a monster I'm gonna meet soon?' You went over to investigate.
"Is the document for sale?"
"Wow, you might be the first to ask me about that and be able to afford it! The others before you barely had enough for a flashlight." Sebastian chuckled, clasping his hands together. "If you're interested, give me a thousand data, and I'll have it ready for you to read when you return to the surface. And don't worry, it's all there. So I won't have to kill you to to reveal any information."
You blinked, realizing what he meant by that as you read the folder's cover and why he was asking so much for it.
Sebastian's Document
Of course, you knew he'd be recognized as a specimen, too, but to be put with Pandemonium, the Anglers, and all those other monsters that tried to eat you alive?
For some reason, it made you frown a little.
"This is your file, and they let you keep it?" You turned back to him.
"...I stole it. And I'm not gonna lie...I regret reading it." He muttered, suddenly looking a bit tense..and sad, even, although he was quick to mask any signs of vulnerability when he realized you were staring. "Anyways, it's a steep price. I'm sure you'd rather spend your assets on-"
"What if I buy it and take it off your hands right now?"
For a moment, his ear fins perked up with surprise, glowing eyes widening. But he was quick to give you a suspicious gaze. "Really? You're that nosey about my lifestory? Pretty weird if you ask m-"
"It's more of a courtesy to you."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"I mean..you look like you're carrying a heavy weight just from that folder being there. You haven't stopped looking at it since I mentioned it." You pointed out, seeing his ears twitch again. "You've always told me "out of sight, out of mind" with the Anglers. Couldn't I say the same about you and that document?"
".....using my own words against me, eh? What're you, a damn psychologist?" He teased, although his words didn't hold as much spite or sarcasm as usual. "But no, you're right. I'd rather forget about it forever. So if you want it that badly, be my guest." His third arm made a grand gesture towards the table. "Just don't get caught parading it around. And don't come crying to me when you realize you needed something else instead of-"
"I won't, trust me." You exchanged the data, taking the folder. "I'll be on my way now. I got a crystal to find."
With that, you began ducking down to renter the vent and continue your journey into the abandoned site-
"Hey."
You paused and looked back at Sebastian, tilting your head as you wondered why he seemed nervous again--wringing his hands together.
"Um..thank you, genuinely..for taking that off my hands." He cleared his throat, sweeping back his dark bangs. "I hope that whatever you find in there doesn't..get in the way of our "partnership". I'd hate to lose my number one customer."
Nodding, you gave him a reassuring smile. "You won't lose my business, Seb. That I promise."
"..now hold on we aren't THAT close to start going by nickna-" He began to snap, but you've already disappeared into the duct. "Aaaand they're gone...hmph..well..least I don't have to worry about that anymore."
Sighing, he looked around the shop, wondering what he should do now.
What you did was certainly a nice gesture.
He only hopes you'll keep your promise and not be afraid of him.

I'm just saying that, Mattheo is against having children until you're crying in his arms, all worried and concerned, as you ramble on how you were on birth control and suddenly the thought of a baby— your baby—doesn't seem so bad. Of course, he could've waited a few years before knocking you up, but he should've known that refusing to wear protection would've eventually led to this. And you're just so completely out of it, breaking down, apologizing to him, and saying that it's okay if he doesn't want it and he's immediately shutting you up the moment those words come out of your mouth.
"Princess, don't even think about that. I'd never leave you, no matter what. This baby, our baby, is the best thing you could've ever given me. I love you so much, my dear."
And now you are crying for a whole different reason because you have no idea how to raise a child, and while you love children, the thought of growing one is extremely scary. When you finally calm down, the excitement starts to kick in, and while there isn't much excitement—It's good, nonetheless. Mattheo is already imagining you with a baby resting on your hip, and he wonders if the baby will have your eyes or his hair, and maybe he should've done this earlier because, holy shit, you're going to be round—belly swollen with his child and that stirs something in him.
Oh, and he can't wait to tell Narcissa, who's been waiting years to finally be a grandma, and while Lucius isn't always the best, Mattheo knows that the man is going to absolutely adore his grandchild. The boys tackle him to the ground when he breaks the news and now you have to deal with a whole army of men being overprotective over you.
Basically, you're going to be even more spoiled than you were before, and Mattheo discovers just how much of a breeding kink he has.

holding on {alex karev}
plot: you and alex aren't friends but he's the person that sits by your hospital bed day and night until you wake up.
character: alex karev (early seasons) x reader
The steady beeping of the various machines was something that Alex had grown tired of two days ago, the machine's volumes had been turned to 0 but his anxious eyes kept flickering to them every few seconds just to be sure. The background noise of the hospital was something he was used to and it was an oddly comforting sound. Now, the silence of being in the room with you had been nice at first but now that he was here, with you, waiting... just waiting... the silence was unnerving him.
He tapped his foot, checking the clock on the wall. Bailey should've been here by now, she promised him that she'd check on you every two hours. She was late. Anger surged through his body causing his heart to pound and his fists to clench.
"You're such an idiot," he could hear you scolding him in his mind, "if you just stopped dealing with your problems with sheer anger then maybe, maybe people would actually start to like you."
He scoffed.
You and him had hardly been friends. You and the rest of Bailey's interns were the best of friends, all living together in Mer's mom's house so why wasn't George or Izzie or Cristina or Mer here? Why was it Alex? That's all the four of them had been whispering about. Cristina asked Alex, Izzie asked Alex... hell, Bailey even asked Alex. Alex had ignored each of their questions and instead gave some snarky asshole comment with an eye roll. Alex didn't even know why he was here - why he'd purposefully demanded the week off to be by your bedside day and night sleeping on a camping bed with the scratchiest sheets in the world. He didn't know and yet, here he was.
You were annoying. You annoyed him. But since the news of the accident and since you'd been in a coma, Alex couldn't stop thinking about the way you laughed as you teased him. He couldn't get one specific moment out of his head.
You and Alex had been working on a case together - much to your dismay - and Alex had opened up slightly, letting you see that he was much more than what you previously thought.
"So... you're not just an asshole with the emotional range of a teaspoon, who knew?" You helped yourself to the bar stool next to Karev. Joe glanced at you, asking if you wanted your usual to which you nodded.
Alex rolled his eyes, "Whatever."
There was silence for a few seconds before you tried again, "I know you have this hard 'I don't care' exterior," you started, "and I know it's probably because of some past trauma in your life, Karev - believe me we've all got some shit - but..."
"Are you gonna keep giving me a stupid high school girl pep talk or are you gonna shut up and drink?"
It was your turn to roll your eyes now, "Joe, another round please."
As Joe poured the two of you more drinks, Alex sighed and looked at you, "Thanks," he murmured quietly, "I'm not- I don't..." he cleared his throat, "I don't mean to be an asshole all the time... I don't really know... Social shit isn't really my thing."
"Now who's acting like an emotional high school girl?" You teased. Alex laughed, a genuine smile stretched onto his face. Yeah... maybe he wasn't so bad after all.
So after the accident, Alex stayed.
It was then Bailey strode in, chart in hand, "Karev," she said glancing up for a second, "you look like hell. Don't you think you should go home get a proper sleep? Take a damn shower?" She could see the worry in him, she could see how stressed out he was; the dark circles under his eyes, his nails chewed down. Alex might not even know it yet but he cared about you.
"I'm staying," he said with a nod standing to look over her shoulder at your chart, "Any updates?"
"You tell me, you're the one who's been here since she got admitted." Bailey moved to you, turning the volume up on the machines, checking your levels.
"Oxygen levels were a little low at 3am, managed to level them out... No issues since." He nodded, arms crossed with a hand rubbing at his jawline, "Why hasn't she woken up yet, Bailey? She should be-"
"Karev," Bailey said, voice strong, "Go get yourself a cup of coffee, now."
"I don't-"
"Now, Karev. Let me do my damn job and stop hanging over me. Coffee."
With a few harsh words which made Bailey surprisingly laugh, Alex stormed out of your hospital room, storming past O'Malley and Stevens who had come to check in with Bailey on how you were doing.
Bailey leaned down closed to you, "If you die, god help us all... that boy..." she looked to the door where Alex had left from, "he'll be lost forever. So don't you dare, you hear me?"
The coffee machine was a minute's walk away from your room so Alex would know if anything were to happen to you, he would know but he kept checking over his shoulder anyway just in case. He was exhausted, he couldn't remember the last time he'd drank or even the last time he'd eaten. You had consumed him for the last two days; making sure that you were okay was his first priority.
He stopped at the coffee machine punching the button for a crappy black coffee that he wasn't going to drink anyway, "Come on," he grumbled as the cup dropped and the coffee began to pour in slowly, "Damn piece of crap machine, hurry the hell up!" He yelled suddenly, slamming his fist into the plastic front. Around him, people stared but he didn't care. When the coffee finally stopped, he pulled the cup out when he heard it.
"Code blue! I need a crash cart! Room 2203!" It was Bailey. It was you.
Boiling hot coffee splashed over the floor, the cup dropped and on the ground as Alex Karev took off running.
His heart pounded, usually the thrill was the thing he loved the most but this wasn't a thrill, no, this was dread. When he burst into your room, the first thing he heard was, "Clear!" and heard the noise of the defibrillator.
"What's going on?!" He yelled over the chaos.
"Get him outta here!" Bailey yelled, "Charge to 200! Get him outta here, O'Malley!"
George tried but a determined Alex was a strong Alex. He resisted George's grip, shoving him back every chance he tried to take him out. It got to the point that George gave up, "Dr Bailey!" He exclaimed, hopelessly as Alex barged to your bedside. Bailey couldn't do anything, she was busy trying to save your life, she couldn't deal with Karev as well so she let him be.
"Don't you dare die on me," Alex hissed, eyes flooding with tears, "don't you dare. Can't do that to me, (y/n). Can't have me sitting here waiting for two days to just die on me-" he looked to Bailey, "Save her... please."
Bailey's eyes met Alex's and she found a lump in her throat, "You hear him?" She asked you as the paddles charged, "don't you dare die on us, (y/n)." With one final shock, the monitor started to beep again, "Heart rate is coming back up," she said with a relieved sigh, "Thank the Lord. Levels are stabilising."
Alex collapsed into the chair at your bedside, hand clamped around yours, as his eyes closed, letting the relief wash over him. You were alive; you were stable.
"What- what caused it?"
Bailey shook her head, "Don't know, levels were fine but as soon as you left the room they started to drop so do me a favour, Karev," she looked pointedly at him, "don't leave this room again." Normally he would've bit back, said a comment about her forcing him out but instead, he just nodded falling back into his chair, hand still in yours, "I'll check every hour, okay? You page me immediately, got it?" Again, he nodded and then the room cleared out.
Alex didn't turn the monitors down, he needed to hear the steady beep to know that you were okay, you were alive and you were breathing. For the last three hours that he'd sat here, he had prayed to every god he could remember the name of - he didn't know if it counted but even started praying to some Greek Gods as well. Why have God in the title if it doesn't count? His hand was still firmly in yours.
Bailey had checked five times in the three hours, checking on you but also on him. She brought him a soda, a sandwich and a muffin and didn't leave until he'd drained half the can and eaten one of the sandwiches. He hadn't realised how hungry he was until he'd started eating, he devoured the rest of meal once she'd left. You were still stable but you weren't awake yet. Bailey was optimistic but Alex wasn't. He was dreading the worst, expecting your levels to become unstable again but as he was dosing off, he felt your hand twitch in his.
He shot up, "(y/n)?" He asked staring at your hand and then at you and much to his relief, your eyes began to flutter open. He let out a sound that was half laugh, half sob. Utter relief crashed over him, "You're awake," he grinned, "you're actually awake."
"A-Alex?" You croaked.
"Here," he said gently as he grabbed a plastic cup and straw and filled it with water from the jug on your bedside unit, "Drink up. How you feeling?"
"Sore."
"Multiple ruptured organs and a few broken bones'll do that to you," Alex teased with a smile. You noticed his hand was still in yours, warm and strong. He saw your eyes narrow at your joined hands and he was quick to pull his back despite everything inside him not wanting to, "I- I'm gonna page Bailey, you drink up." He helped you take the water and left. He was just outside, close enough to make sure that you were still safe - still alive.
It was as he left you looked around the room and you noticed the camping cot which was set up on the floor next to your bed. You frowned. Someone had been staying here. Was it... no, it couldn't have been Alex; Alex hated you.
Your thoughts were cut off by Bailey bursting into your room, "Oh thank the Lord," she grinned, "it's good to see you awake. You scared us." As Bailey checked you over, Alex returned to the seat next to you. Bailey saw your confused expression seeing him sat there, normal clothes not working, "Karev," she said, "go and get (y/n) a sandwich, will you? She's hungry." Alex went to argue, to tell Bailey she told him not to leave your room but Bailey's pointed look made him stop and nod. He left a second later giving you one last worried look, "She's fine now go."
You looked up at Bailey who sighed and looked down at you, "You had that boy scared to death, you know."
"Who? Alex?!"
Bailey nodded, "You're not the only one who's surprised. As soon as you were admitted he was here. It was his day off and he was here. Soon as you got outta surgery he was set up in your room. He hasn't left since Tuesday."
You looked down to the cot next to you, "He's been here the whole time?"
Bailey nodded, "I don't know what's going on between the two of you - if anything - but I'd say that there's something." Your frown deepened and Bailey smiled, "Just... be patient with him."
When Alex came back, Bailey gave you a secret nod with a knowing smile before she left promising to come check on you every hour and to not dare think about going back into a coma otherwise she would kill you. "I'm a doctor, I know how to save people but I know how to kill them too."
"Hey," Alex said as he placed a sandwich and soda on the unit beside your bed, "You okay?"
You nodded, finding yourself rather overwhelmed and touched by his actions. He - Alex Karev - had stayed by your side since the accident. What did that mean? What did Dr Bailey mean? You nodded quickly, "Yeah," you said softly, "just tired."
Alex puffed out a long breath as he sat in the seat next to your bed, "Yeah, you must be. Gave me- gave us all a fright."
Silence fell and the two of you fell into the comfort of the sounds of the hospital. You sipped at the soda Alex had brought before curiosity got the better of you, "Alex... why did you stay with me?"
You could've sworn his cheeks flushed a darker shade of pink but he rubbed his hands over his tired looking face so you couldn't have been sure, "Hell if I know," he muttered, "it's not like we're friends but... I didn't want you to be alone. You're the only one that's almost like a friend and... I dunno." He shrugged, "I don't really understand it myself." Maybe there was something deeper lurking under the surface but he didn't know. That was something you'd have to navigate together, "I know you'd have probably preferred Cristina or Mer-"
You took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, "Thank you, Alex," you whispered, "for everything. Thank you." Now, this time you could see the tips of his ears go pink. You smiled, "Now when are you going to shower cause boy you are looking rough-"
"Shut up!" Alex rolled his eyes but he laughed with you and for once, it felt nice to joke around with him. It felt normal. You didn't know what was going to happen but you somehow knew that he would be beside you, figuring out this crazy journey together and somehow, that made it a little less scary.

a/n: i decided to go for idols in the same company bc thats fun for some reason<3 anyways so sorry i took literal months for get to this!!
masterlist
"you've got to stop doing this," you mumbled in between kisses, hands on his chest to keep him pressed up against the wall.
"me? you're the one who has me pinned," he argued back, not at all fighting back against his current position.
"may i remind you of last week when you had me bent over the couch in an empty office?"
god, even thinking about it had you wanting to drag him over to your apartment, damning any other schedule you had left for the day.
but no, this tiny window of time was the only part of the day in which you could see each other these days. well, see each other in this way. working within the same company, you actually saw jun more than you even saw your own family.
"don't remind me," he groaned, "wanted to take you home after that."
at least the feeling was mutual.
throughout your back and forth, the touches never ceased, and neither did the kissing. maybe you should've been more worried about being caught in the elevator, but to be fair, this one was only used my maintenance, who did not show up on weekdays. you were most likely safe from any intruders.
"well, you can't take me home. i'm mid comeback, i cant even see my home," you mumbled, hands unbuttoning his shirt.
"why are you getting me undressed if we have no time, then?"
"want a nice view. now shut it, moon," you grumbled, letting your hands feel up his sculpted chest.
he chuckled, but he mirrored your sentiment as he lifted up your tank top, giving himself the perfect view of your bra-less chest.
"fuck. no bra? at work?"
"all i have is fixing up some vocals and dance practice for today. didn't seem necessary," you replied as you kissed at his neck, "plus, i was expecting this."
"oh, so it's for my benefit?" his eyes and hands were glued to your tits, so yes.
you didn't dignify that with a response, instead moving onto his trousers, unbuckling them loose enough to get his dick out of his boxers and onto your needy hands. working him into full hardness wasnt hard. all it usually took was some lubrication from his precum and a few heavy kisses, both which you were already on.
"hmph, baby, c'mon, against the wall," his large hands moved you, taking your hold away from his dick and placing you against the wall, back facing him.
you knew what was coming, so you let your ass stick out a bit, wiggling it teasingly to dare him to move on with it. the response you got was a groan and a hand sneaking between you and the wall to pinch at your nipple in defiance.
what followed after that was even more ruffling of clothes, leaving your lower half uncovered and ready for him.
"god, i love taking you like this. are you wet enough, baby?" he asked despite checking for himself a mere seconds later, finding the wetness between your legs dripping down the inside of your thighs, "fuck, all this from kissing?"
you could hear the smugness in his voice, but you chose to ignore it. it was true, you were feeling incredibly needy and sensitive. all you wanted right now was for him to be inside you. so you did what you knew he wanted from you.
you begged.
"please, junnie ... need it so bad."
he nosed at your ear, kissing at it before finally entering you, groaning directly into your ear at the tightness surrounding him.
"god, how are you this tight every fucking time," he sighed out, "so fucking good for me."
then the senseless slapping of skin began, his hips canting against your ass as you used your weakened arms to hold yourself up against the wall. the position was slightly uncomfortable, but the feeling of jun filling you up so perfectly distracted you from any discomfort.
"f-faster, junnie," you pleaded.
and as per usual, your wish was his command. his hips sped up, just as his fervor doubled. the time crunch added to the shared desperation, creating a disgusting harmony of muffled moans and sweaty skin slapping in the small elevator.
jun's hand made its way away from your hip and found a place in your front, long fingers squeezing and circling at your swollen clit. your eyebrows furrowed, and you had to bite your hand to avoid the scream you wanted to let out. jun sensed it and chuckled breathlessly into your hair, to which you responded by squeezing around him.
your battle to make the other cum came to a crescendo almost simultaneously. it was you who lost this round, choking on hiccuped moans as your high invaded your body.
"god, baby, that's so fucking tight. gonna cum too, shit. take it for me, yeah?"
and that's how he filled you up, hips never giving up until he gave you his very last drop.
when he pulled out, you turned around again, only to be caught in another heavy kiss. the two of you indulged in it for a bit before your phone began ringing, making a groan separate you.
"it's probably my manager," you sighed, ignoring the call, "i have to go. i need to stop by the bathroom to clean up the mess you left in me," you feigned annoyance as you made quick work of fixing your clothes.
"you literally asked for it."
true, but complaining was still fun.
you helped him get dressed too, giving him one last peck as a goodbye before peeking outside for any passerby's.
"we're in the clear," you turned to him, "tomorrow, same time?"
he chucked, "i'll be waiting."

So what do we think about that draft where jean kill himself on the phone with kevin ? Or an au where kevin off himself because he couldn’t handle riko’s and jean’s death?
(coming back from my mini mental health break to drop... this. uuhhh cw for jean kills himself on the phone with Kevin sorry)
-
It was late when Kevin's phone rang, loud enough to startle him from a light sleep, a half enjoyed Exy match still playing on his laptop.
Jean
Kevin paused the video.
Why was Jean calling him at this time of night? He should've been sleeping - No, at practice. Maybe he had just finished. Which schedule was he even on, now?
He pressed the green button to answer, but the feeling of something off came much quicker than any voice that would have followed. Dead air, for a moment too long, an electronic hiss, and Jean didn't speak.
"Hello?" Kevin answered, hearing a movement as he held the phone to his ear. "Jean, did you mean to call me?"
Jean laughed, a weak laugh, short and muffled. "I didn't think you'd actually pick up. That makes this all worse, doesn't it?"
His words were not English, instead French, spoken too loudly to be a secret. Kevin sat up and looked at the time again to make sure it was really as late as he thought it was. Maybe it's nothing, he comforted himself with a lie, a way of ignoring the churning feeling in his stomach that something wasn't quite right.
Jean's breathing was heavy, accompanied with a hum every few seconds, less of a happy sound, more of a struggle to keep quiet in whatever pain he was feeling.
"Why are you calling me?" Kevin whispered, like he might be heard if he didn't speak quietly. "Where is he?"
Jean laughed again, taking an inhale into the deepest parts of his lungs, before he said, "It doesn't matter."
"It does," Jean's uncharacteristic lack of care as to the king's whereabouts worried Kevin - If Riko wasn't with him... Kevin looked at the time again and again, trying to remember Riko's schedule. Why couldn't he remember?
Where was he, and why was Jean alone?
His question came out cautious. "What's going on?"
"Nothing that you can change," Jean's sigh was tired, a dismissal mixed with pessimism and hopelessness. "It's already done."
"What is?"
His heart started to pound in his chest, pushed by the tone of Jean voice, speaking french out loud without a care, no fear in his voice, but something different taking its place; Kevin was afraid, scared of the truth. Jean would never be so careless - so reckless and nonchalant. Something was wrong, so very wrong, and putting two and two together only left Kevin with too many questions and a rope around his chest.
"I hoped you wouldn't answer." Jean's voice cracked as he spoke, and Kevin shut his eyes at the sound. "I'm not even sure why I called in the first place, but ah. Here we are."
"Stop that. Where the fuck are you?"
"Only where i was always going to end up." He laughed, but instead of an awful, awkward sound, behind the laugh was thinly veiled pain. Something hurt. Jean was in pain, and Riko wasn't around, and Kevin started to pace, like he would find the answer somewhere else around the room.
Jean swallowed hard before continuing, "I would ask you how to say goodbye but you're not known to afford such courtesies, are you?"
Kevin stopped. "Goodbye?"
"Ah, so you do know how to say it," The sigh that followed had something behind it, something wistful, something painful, something... final. "Goodbye," he spoke in english, before a shaky inhale brought him back into French. "Are you happy?"
"With what?"
"Everything." His breath blew loudly through the mic of his phone. "With who you are, away from this place. In general, Kevin, are you happy now?"
Kevin hesitated. "Sometimes."
Jean hummed. "Better than never."
"What did you do?"
Jean doesn't respond immediately, and Kevin knew then what he hadn't wanted to know at all. He didn't want to know, he didn't want to assume, but then the sound of a sniffle and a low cry followed, and Kevin felt his heart start to break.
"What did you do, Jean?" He asked again, no louder than a whisper this time, quiet enough that he could hear Jean's whimper as he started to gently cry.
"Will you stay with me?" Jean replied, a swallow in his throat, the phone being placed down somewhere. "I don't want to die alone."
"Let me call someone," Kevin begged. "Why? Why would you- Why? You promised. You promised."
"Be quiet." He pleaded, and Kevin covered his mouth with his free hand. Was this happening? Jean's words were not as angry as his tone would have suggested, instead a soft quiver in his voice, as he tried to hold back the tears that Kevin pictured rolling down his face. "Just stay with me or fuck off and don't let my last thought of you be that you're an insufferable bitch."
Kevin almost laughed.
He almost laughed, knowing what was happening, knowing Jean was fading away on the other line, as he cried, dealing with whatever he'd done to himself, however it was happening.
"Tell me something I don't know," His accented voice was getting weaker with every agonising second that passed. "Talk to me."
Jean knew everything about him, almost everything, so much so that he couldn't think of something new, something that he didn't know. This was his only light in a dungeon of darkness, and that light was fading quicker than he'd left him alone all those months ago. It was not comfort Jean was looking for, but perhaps company, or a presence, just to believe that someone cared, to feel like someone was there at the end of it all. He didn't really want to know Kevin's trivia and fun facts; He said it himself - he didn't want to die alone.
"Don't do this to me," It was all that he could say, a desperate, despaired attempt, no other words meaningful enough to get him to change his mind. "Let me help you."
"You can't," Jean responded. "Not this time."
And Kevin knew that it was the truth.
He thought for a moment. What was he even supposed to do? He thought about calling for help anyway - on the one hand desperate to keep him alive, while on the other hand knowing what would be waiting for him on the other side of survival. There were no scenarios in which Jean would prosper. If Kevin called for help, it would have caused a scene, and he swore he could already hear the cracking of bones under the Master's cane, and the muffled screams that would follow.
Kevin pictured a fate almost worse than death in every attempt to end that night differently; Jean's choice had been made - this was it, and this was his goodbye.
The understanding did not make the reality any easier to digest, though. Instead it sat heavy in his stomach, weighing him down, into the fabric of the sheets he sank back down into.
"I'm sorry," He said. "I've never said that to you before. I wish i never left you."
"I don't," Jean had started to slur his words. "You deserve to be happy. Even just sometimes."
"You do too."
Jean clicked his tongue, but he didn't comment.
Perhaps he knew it was what he deserved, but it had always been more of a mythical concept than anything achievable. He knew what that darkness felt like, the familiar sound of those swirling spirals, the thoughts of can I live like this forever? that fueled the fire to bring him to this point.
The silence on the phone line lasted for an uncomfortable moment too long.
“Jean?”
Jean mumbled his response after another long pause. “Mmm?”
“Tell me something,” Kevin turned his question back on him. “Something that nobody knows about you.”
Jean’s laugh was so weak it could barely be considered a laugh anymore; more an exhale of air with something behind it. “I wanted to be a writer. Before all of this.”
“What would you write?”
Jean thought for a moment. “Poems. Things nobody would ever read. Sometimes…”
Kevin’s heart started thumping again as Jean trailed off into a mumbling silence. “Sometimes..?” He prompted him.
“Hmm?”
“What would you write other than poems?”
“Something for the theatre,” His words were slow and tired. “Something to be… performed.”
“What kind of stories?”
“Ah.” Jean sucked in a long, laboured breath. “Dramas. Something to leave… Mmm-” There’s a dull thud on the other end of the line. He couldn't hold back his quiet groan. “Something…”
“Jean.” Kevin wanted to tell him to be quiet, to wake up, to perk up. He wanted to tell Jean that his joke wasn’t funny and he was waiting for the punchline to come.
“Kevin.” He said, long and drawn out, twice the length it needs to be.
“Did you ever show anyone? Your stories?”
“Only Elodie.” His sisters name rolled off his tongue with a wet, gentle cry. “My actress.”
Kevin thought about her then, not knowing where her brother is, not knowing that he was dying on the other end of the phone.
“Did she like them?” When Jean didn't respond, Kevin raised his voice. “Jean.”
“Mmhmm,” He answered, not much of an answer at all. More of an acknowledgment of his quickly dimming consciousness, a murmur of life to prove he was still there. “Can’t talk much longer.”
“I know.” The painful acceptance left his mouth with a bitterness Kevin couldn't quite describe. “Tell me about her. Elodie.”
“I wish…” Jean spoke through almost shut lips, and Kevin winced at the sound of sleepiness as it started to consume him. “All alone.” He finished a thought he never spoke out loud. “I think… I'm tired.”
“I know.” Kevin said again. “Are you going to sleep?”
There was a struggle in his inhale as he answered, "I think so.”
Fuck. “Are you sure?”
“Mmhmm.”
There's a moment of silence.
“Jean.” Kevin calls. He could still hear his hollow breathing on the other line, but he called his name again when all that followed was silence, “Jean?”
“Mmm?” His breath slowed down to nothing, and Kevin was certain he could hear the slow and irregular ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum of his friends struggling heart.
“I love you.” Kevin said, but he felt sick as the words left his mouth. It felt worthless to him then, an empty promise. Words that should've been said far too long ago. “And I’m sorry. I’m sorry I couldn’t keep you safe.”
“Mmhmhm,” Jean hummed in three syllables. "Safe."
And Kevin waited as the silence drew on. He heard it, the final breath that left his lips, the rattle of his breath through lungs too weak to take it.
One second, he counted, and another.
Another, and another, and another, and a million moments passed with nothing but silence and the knowledge of Jean's soul hopefully finding solace in another, brighter place.
He put his phone down, too scared to hang up, and waited for a sign that this wasn't final - waiting for a sign that said this would simply result in a punishment taken too far, that in a months time when Jean's wounds healed he would call Kevin again and apologise for breaking his promise.
Kevin tried not to care about the promise, to not watch the duration of the call going up and up and up with not so much as a peep from the other end of the phone. He tried not to wonder what would happen next - would his parents be informed, would they care? Would they send his body back to France, or would he die, anonymous and insignificant, buried in some American plot of land somewhere, that nobody cared enough about to put a bunch of flowers on top of?
Would the Master call Kevin, would anyone let him know, when they didn't know Kevin had taken another breath after Jean had taken his last?
"Oh Jesus fucking Christ!" The voice on the other end of the phone scared Kevin out of the depth of his thoughts. Was it Zane? He wondered, his finger hovering over the button to end the call, or was it just another voice of a nameless Raven who would forget about this all once the sun rose? "Get the King, tell him it's-"
Kevin hung up before he could hear any more.
The panic attack that followed was not a friendly one - It started slow, but before long, his chest was stuck in a vice, and his heart was prepared to take off. Kevin couldn't hold it in anymore - he cried, choking on the breaths that left his hands numb.
Kevin didn't hear Andrew coming in, but he stood by the door frame, watching, hardly visible through the blurry haze of tears in his eyes. Andrew glanced at the still-lit-up phone screen on the bed beside Kevin, and shut the door gently behind him.
No words were enough.
There's nothing that could be done to make everything okay again, nothing he could hear that that would stop the guilt, and the sadness, and the hurt, that all-consuming hurt.
All Kevin had to offer then, was pain, and bottomless grief, as he held his racing heart while it broke into a million, tiny pieces.

For your prompts (so excited, and congratulations btw!)- LU:
-Minish Four waking up in someone’s pocket?
-Anesthesia, but also the effects of coming out of it
-Ten year old Time who looks like he’s however old he is, keeping his true age a secret
It felt strangely stuffy.
Four wasn't entirely sure what had happened. He'd gone exploring after people had started settling in for lunch. The four hours of sleep last night hadn't really bothered him initially, but as he'd spoken to the Minish in this area, he'd felt himself start to nod off. He'd thought it was best to get back to camp as soon as he could - only a few people knew about his Minish magic, and he didn't need the group worrying because he'd gone wandering and hadn't returned.
But what had occurred since then? Four recalled the tiny river created from the trickling stream, how it attracted all sorts of creatures. He remembered a finch that had been hopping about excitedly in search for worms. He remembered deciding to settle on a rock and listen to the stream and the birds.
Had he... fallen asleep by accident? Oh, great. He was getting as bad as Sky.
But why did it feel so different now? If he'd fallen asleep, that would have been on the rock.
Something brushed against his face, or, really, had been brushing against his face since he'd awoken. Scrunching his eyes shut a moment, he slowly ran his hands down his face. It was strangely dark, though there was some vague light trying to pierce through his eyelids. But it should have been much brighter.
Oh no. How long had he been asleep?
This was when Four realized that his world was moving.
Four abruptly opened his eyes, finding that he was surrounded in what looked to be a giant blanket. At least that was what he assumed - it was cloth of some sort, but it was shifting rhythmically, and--
Four yelped as something bonked his head, and he looked up to see some strange outline pushing through the blanket. He tentatively pressed on it, and was absolutely bewildered by the hardness of it. What was that, why was the blanket moving, and--
Wait a second. He recognized the patterning on the blue fabric. It looked like what was on Twilight's sash that he wore under his belt.
Sunlight ripped into the sky all of a sudden, and Four looked up, disoriented, to see Twilight peeking at him from the corner.
Did... did he tuck Four into his sash?
"Oh, hey," Twilight said quietly, glancing around before looking back down at him. "I was wondering when you'd wake up."
"What in the--why didn't you just wake me up?" Four asked, simultaneously embarrassed and befuddled.
"Can't hear ya," Twilight replied. "You're too tiny."
"Rancher, I--"
"You were sleeping really peacefully, so I figured I'd just leave you be. But I said I'd look for you, so we're on our way back to the others."
"You'd better take me out, then, because I--"
"I figured I'd just say you were on your way and give you a bit more time to rest."
Four huffed, clawing his way up Twilight's tunic to try and climb out of his little cloth prison. Twilight laughed at him. Laughed.
"What are you doing?" the Ordonian asked, plucking Four easily by the back of his tunic.
Well, at least he was free. Four reversed the magic, feeling himself grow in size, and Twilight yelped.
Maybe he should've picked a better way to do this.
Four found himself gasping as Twilight fumbled to catch him. He was going to land just fine on his feet, but the elder hero thought he needed to still hold him, and now he was in his arms like a small child.
Four felt his face reddening. "I'm not a kid, Rancher!"
"Well, you could warn me," Twilight remarked mildly, plopping him on the ground easily. "I know you didn't sleep well last night, so I didn't want to interrupt. Sorry."
Four sighed. He was used to taking care of himself. Well. They all were used to that. Four was honestly the better team player of the group.
But he was his own team. So he still kind of took care of himself.
Anyway, the point was that... that...
That Twilight was trying to be helpful.
Four sighed yet again. "It's all right."
Twilight smiled easily, elbowing the smaller hero. "How about a ride back to the others, then?"
Four chuckled, taking the offer. "All right, that I can handle."
Twilight transformed easily, allowing Four to climb on his back, and the little hero felt his heart warm as the pair rode through the forest, the cool breeze blowing through his hair.
Four had to admit, he was quite fond of this new team he found himself in.

Is It Casual Now?
12!Donnie x Reader
(Friends-to-Pining-Idiots)
AN: wrote this on a whim bc I'm bored and am procrastinating. and also because we don't get enough friends-to-lovers fics lmao (also might make a sequel?). also might be ooc? idk
warnings(?): not alot, mild cussing?, might be a little ooc, mention of apritello but only brief,
_______________
It was a warm summer night...
Actually, who were you kidding? It was freezing. Okay, wait, maybe a bit of an exaggeration. It was still cold though, you stand by that.
"Want me to lower the AC? You look like you're dying."
"hrnn... But what about your experiment-thingy-thing? Wouldn't that like... affect it or something? Or was that the other one?" You ask, sniffling. Oh yeah, did you mention you were sick? Because you're sick. Sick as hell! Haha! haha...
No but seriously, you felt like you were dying. You bet it's not even that cold.
"Nah, don't worry that was the other one. It's in the freezer."
"Aw dude, Mikey might eat it or something."
"No he won't, there're like, a million warning stickers on that thing, he wouldn't—" You gave him a look,
"Crap." He ran out of his lab and went straight to the freezer.
Wait a minute, why were you here again?
Oh yeah, the project. And to hang out with Donnie, sure that too.
He came back with his experiment-thingy clutched in his arms. You sniff, "Dude—" "—Gross,"
"Shut up, anyway,"
"Why didn't you put it in your freezer? You literally have one right there." You pointed at the small metal box (that you're pretty sure he built himself) next to his desk.
"Because there's ice cream in there, and I don't want to share with my brothers."
"So what's your plan now?"
"What?"
"Should we like.. eat some of the ice cream to make room for your weird jelly-thing, orr..."
"Well I didn't think that far, sure, why not." He places the container down on his desk and takes out a small tub of vanilla ice cream.
"Ew, vanilla? that's so... Vanilla." You smile,
"Excuse you, that's for me. This, is for you." He says, taking out an equally sized tub of cookies and cream.
"Bro that vanilla has nuts in it, you like your ice cream with nuts? Ew."
"Oh nevermind, guess this is going back in the freezer," He takes the tub of cookies and cream ice cream and tries to put it back in his freezer.
"Wait, hold on, your honor I'm innocent!"
He chuckles, you smile.
"Shut up, dork, take the ice cream."
"Speak for yourse— Oh, oops, nevermind I forgot you had full control of my ice cream privileges."
"Mhm, yeah, that's what I thought."
He hands you a spoon and you notice a little red button at the bottom of it.
"What's this for?"
"For heating up the spoon so that we wouldn't have to wait like, half an hour to eat the icecream."
"God, that's such a good idea, you're a genius."
"Yeah, I know right?"
The two of you laugh as you both open your tubs of ice cream. Well, it was more of an attempt in your part. You eventually got Donnie to open it for you.
"Oh wait, my project... Whatever, it's the weekend, I'll do it tomorrow."
"And that's why you end up pulling all-nighters and get all grumpy on us when we talk to you on schooldays."
"Shh... SShhhut up. Eat your ice cream."
He chuckles.
It's quiet.
"Soo... How're things with April?"
And that is definitely not the way to start a conversation.
"Eh.. You know. The same it always is."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
And back to quiet. It's nice, but you wish it wasn't so awkward.
"..I should've given you soup instead. Giving you ice cream was a bad choice on my part." He stand up to take the ice cream (which was already a quarter finished, by the way) from you.
"Aww, come on Don. I can have the— ha..." You sneeze, "..have the soup later. After ice cream."
He snorts, "Come on," he gently puts the back of his hand on your throat, then your forehead.
"Oh damn, I did that as a joke, but you're seriously burning up. Yeah, no, I'm getting you soup."
You let out a whine of defeat as the tub of ice cream gets taken away from you, and hey, was it this cold before?
"I'll get you a blanket too. Why'd you even come here anyway?" He smiles a little, "And don't say that you needed help with your schoolwork. We already covered that like, a week ago? Get some rest, man." Before he leaves, he puts the experiment-jelly-thingamabob in the freezer.
"'Kay."
Why were you here?
Easy, you liked hanging out with him.
Why?
Because.
..Because?
Because he's fun to be around?
Might need to think deeper than that.
Who are you, my therapist?
You're literally talking to yourself.
Whatever. Because... I don't know, he makes me.. happy? that sounds weird.
Yeah. Keep going anyway.
This self analysis thing is getting weird.
And he's back. You smile.
"I got some hot chocolate too. Had to be quiet though." He covers the both of you with the blanket, and hands you the soup.
"Damn, you're cold too?"
"Yeah duh, turtles are cold-blooded."
"So you've said."
He leans back,
"You gonna finish your little experiment here?"
"Maybe. I'm tired."
"What time is it?"
"Uhh.." He checks his t-phone, "1:10 AM."
"Whatt... You're telling me I've been here for six hours?" It's fine, your parents were out of town. You liked it better here anyway.
"Also, I really don't think you should get that close to me dude. I'm, in your words, 'seriously burning up'."
"Ughh.. but you're warm. And I don't wanna get up." He dramatically lays his head on your shoulder, fake-snuggling up to you.
He gets a laugh out of you, he grins.
"I'm tired."
"Yeah, me too." Donnie yawns, pressing a button on his remote. Suddenly, the lights started to dim.
You let out a breathless chuckle, "When'd you install that?"
"A couple weeks ago. You said you didn't like how bright the lights were. So I made this remote to dim the lights, then I got distracted and made more options, then turned it into a slider... then just... booshhh... yeah."
"You remembered that?"
"Of course."
That's actually pretty sweet.
You smile at him. "Yeah?"
"Mhm. I'm gunna.... sleep. G'night."
"G'night."
And like that, he was out like a light. You just realized how close he was to you.
He's next to you, head basically on the crook of your neck. Both of you sharing the same thick blanket, with the empty bowl of soup that you didn't realize you had finished, and the half empty cup of hot chocolate.
And now, you start thinking to yourself,
Is there more to this?
No, you're just friends. Right?
But that tiny voice in your head that's getting increasingly bigger as the minute passes, is asking you:
Do friends do this for eachother?
Yes.
Are you sure?
What else could it be? What else could we be?
Do friends go out of their way to show up to your school in a disguise while it was pouring out to take you home?
He's just like that. He's nice, he's caring.
Do friends install fancy advanced remote-controlled lights just for you because you mentioned once how the lights were overwhelming?
..He's my friend. I'd do the same for him. Well, If I had the smarts.
But the difference is that you know how you feel.
Well.. Yeah.
Do friends leave lingering touches?
...
..Didn't he say he had a heater in here?

Parallels/references/a couple theories about TMAGP EP1:
grouped in order of actual theories, vague things i noticed, and even vaguer comments! (using the same terminology as in TMA for ease)
HEAVY Spoilers !!
Stronger:
“Colin, mate, you know you’re never getting out of here” +won't leave until they figure out the errors “Or they finally kill me” → couldn't quit the Archives because they thought they just wanted to understand and know (but later found out they could only get out by dying or blinding)
Lena talks about cake → Mr Spider doesn't like cake + Elias seemed to love the stuff
pub called The Seward -> Peter Lukas vibes?
“There has to be a way to do this online” → haha ! you wish. (AKA supernatural interferes with internet so it cant be dont online)
“There's this box for a "Response 121" on the form.” → MAG121 is the episode Jon is woken from his coma/brought back to life by Oliver Banks
Talk about how there used to be a separate “Response” department → Elias tells Jon its their job to watch, not interfere (iirc)
Old as shit computer → old as shit tape recorders
AKA: the computer seems to be the only thing that can handle the supernatural
“ "Dolls comma watching" or "Dolls comma human skin" “ → violently Stranger and possibly Eye, has me in mind of MAG24 (the one the Calliope is first mentioned in, where the boyfriend is turned into a doll iirc)
Barely understandable, long as shit file names →barely understandable, long as shit files names by Gertrude
[in response to where the files go] “some long dead database that no one will ever look at or care about” → the Archives were unmanaged, decrepit and barely used by anyone outside of them
Work during the night - no sun, cut off from outside world → worked in a basement - no sun, cut off from outside world
Martin (and later Jon) taking the statements → did the same in TMA but in reverse (although I’d love to know if there's any reason behind them being called Chester and Norris, besides what's stated?)
Haha Martin and Jon (and Jonah) are now part of the World Wide Web → shit now they're part of the Web (just like with the tape recorders !!)
Someone talks about how they're sorry, they should've listened, couldn't face not hearing him again → martin @ jon and vice versa
Stranger statement with hints of the Dark → first TMA statement was a Stranger in the dark, and it does put me in mind of the Anglerfish tbh
Sorting system for the statements (although there's is a Lot more detailed and v different) → Smirke’s Fourteen
Gwen openly does not like Lena → literally anyone @ Elias
Asked if they were tricked into working here → well, we know the Archives and Elias
“The awful, terrible thing that landed you here?” → most of the Archives (excluding Sasha and maybe Martin) had something that made them Marked, that mostly led to them working there
Someone who's into spelunking listed the Institute as “cleared” → who could that be (if we know them at all)? Buried avatar, i'd guess, but we don't really know any of them
Photos of the Institute don't show up → photos of the supernatural don't work
The Institute was “weird”, made the subject paranoid → lingering Eye
Fire twenty years ago that burned the Institute → Like the fire at Hilltop Road? Or like that time Gertrude tried to burn down the Institute?
Third floor was the most burned → assuming that's the top floor (and correct me if i'm wrong), wasn’t Jonah in (and later killed) on the top floor?
“offices like little cells” → employees were certainly trapped ! also Millbank Prison
Worried non-existent doors were going to slam shut → the Distortion
Weren’t any papers → left behind before the Institute came to this Somewhere Else (assuming it's the same Institute)? (we need an actual name for the original universe and this Somewhere Else)
Suspicious stains on some floors → my darling, that is blood ! or possibly squished worms, or ink. or possibly something Else
“an old wooden thing with a bunch of similar symbols on” → genuinely unsure what this could be
Strange symbols → For all the Fears, or just the Eye, i wonder? I think i remember them saying something about an Eye symbol at this point, but now i can't find where
“you get a job, I get a fresh victim. It’s all in your contract.” → Elias @ his employees
“To new beginnings, with old friends” → to a new beginning, with our old friends Jon, Martin and Jimmy Magma :)
“You’re not as clever as you think you are. You think you've got us all fooled, that no-one knows you're listening, But I do. I know. I’m going to find you and then…” → hi what did he mean by this
They (jon, martin & jonah) are Watching and Listening and following through technology→ just like Elias (Panopticon vibes tbh) and Sergey Ushanka
Vaguer (idk if theres anyhting here, but wanted to include it anyway):
Alice loves coffee -> Martin loved tea
Meeting in a cemetery → Sasha with Michael pre-prentiss attack, Naomi Herne
Not wanting to stay at home because it's full of memories → Jon moving with Georgie, Martin moving to the Archives
Gwen Bouchard wants Lena’s job → Bouchard (appeared to) climb the job ladder quicker than he should have
Heh bug list → corruption
“You don’t seem like the usual hopeless wasters Lena hires” “The awful, terrible thing that landed you here?” → okayy no need to be rude. But anyways the OG Archives crew were actually pretty disconnected from the rest of the world +were barely there by choice?
“freight cars near Brighton” → hey where did Melanie get her first Slaughter mark ?
“it’s not too awkward working with an ex?” → Georgie and Jon?
FR3-d1 -> i feel like there's something there, but i cannot figure it out
Just words that made me irrationally scared:
Stranger(‘s)
Distortion
Opposites:
Starts with a party for someone leaving → couldn't quit the archives
“ …you are perfectly within your rights to resign. No one is forcing you to stay here.”
please put any opinions/additions in the tags !!
#in case anyones confused this is written TMAGP -> OG TMA#tmagp#tmagp spoilers#the magnus protocol#also what the fuck happened to RedCanary

Wish Granted 🌟👩🏾🎶 (Wish Reimagined)
Chapter 10: Hellfire
Chapter 9
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
We step away from Magnifico to go to Asha's home, where we hear the muffled voices of Sabino and Sakina inside, followed by something crashing to the floor.
"Sabino! Will you stop running around like a wild meerkat?! You're breaking the dishware we were gifted!" Sakina scolded him as she stepped around the scattered mess.
The old man was hastily searching through every cabinet, drawer and shelf looking for anything that could remotely be used as a weapon, and in the process was destroying said dishware.
"My granddaughter has been in Rosas for days! Who knows what Magnifico and Amaya have done to her?! I'm going there myself and I need something to attack them with!" he shouted.
Sabino started going through the kitchen utensil drawer, when Sakina slammed it shut before he could pull out something sharp.
"And do you think just hitting them with a wooden spoon is going to harm them in the slightest? If that was enough, the mothers here would've defeated them years ago." Sakina argued as she pulled him away from the kitchen.
Sabino sighed, "You're right. That wouldn't do any good." He turned and walked over to his mandolin, grabing its handle. "I need something stronger!" He exclaimed as he took a practice swing with it.
Before he could reach the door, Sakina stood in front of it and blocked his way out.
"Sabino, please listen! I'm just as worried as you are. I'm terrified at the fact that she left here without a word to take on something bigger than herself, even with this starboy that I still don't understand. I'm terrified that you could get hurt trying to get her back. But most of all, I'm terrified that we'll never see her again! I don't want to lose what's left of this family!"
Her arms were slightly shaking as she stood her ground and finished scolding her father-in-law.
Sabino relented and put the mandolin down, giving in for real this time. "Fine. I won't leave."
Sakina sighed in relief and lowered her arms. "Thank you, saba."
"Well, Asha picked a fine time to get interested in boys." He sat down in his usual chair and crossed his arms. "When she said she'd go out with a guy when he fell from the sky, I never expected it to actually happen!" he laughed, trying ease tension set in the house.
Sakina shook her head, but laughed anyway. It did help her relax a little.
"I just don't understand how a star came down because of one girl. And now he's helping her take down a kingdom? The most we know he can do is make animals speak." He drummed his fingers on the table in thought. "This star sounds much different than the ones Tomás talked about. He at least sounds fun, I'd like to meet him!"
Sakina shrugged. "To be honest, I'm still not used to it, saba. Some of them even offered to help make new clothes, but I mean its a little nutty when you even think about it." she whispered to him.
(ignore the plushie in the picture)
"Hey! I heard that!" a squeaky voice came from the windowsill. A small read squirrel heard the conversation and her tail ruffled in offense. "Hmph! And to think I was going to share my family's acorn stash with you!" She jumped off the window sill and ran off in a huff.
"I'm sorry, dear! Its nothing personal!" The woman replied, realizing she hurt her feelings. What was she even doing talking to a squirrel??
"Saba, I don't want to just sit here and wait either. Maybe there is a way we can go to Ross and help her, but I don't how we-"
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! 🚪
Sakina sighed and got up from the table. "I swear, if that bears' asking for honey again..." She huffed.
She opened the door and saw one of her neighbors out of breath and looking pale as a ghost.
"What happened to you?" Sakina asked, now concerned about the man.
The man took a deep breath and exclaimed, "MAGNIFICO! HE'S IN THE HAMLET!"
Sakina and Sabino were left speechless with fear.
There's no way that the royals should've been able to find them. Flazino was the only one outside of the safe haven to know their location. Unless Flazino....
The three of them raced back to the entrance of the Hamlet (Sabino was slower, but he tried his best to keep up.), seeing that trees that once blocked the path were now gone. As if a fire was set in the center and it burned outward until nothing but crisped edges remained. Magnifico and his remaining soldiers stood before them on horseback.
"Greetings, my wayward subjects! Your king has found you at last!" His voiced boomed as his horse reared back and whinned. The king sure loved his dramatic entrances....
Everyone present in the Hamlet was frozen, too frightened to respond.
The king moved forward as he eyed everyone. "I must say I love what you've done here for a pack of traitors plotting my downfall. You've got lovely homes, rich plant life, and you even make your own food?" His voice was insincere. "All these years, you've done a magnificent job of staying alive all by yourselves, without my magic." His fake smile faded. "That ends tonight."
The soliders blocked the entrance to avoid anyone from sneaking out.
Germaine stepped forward with her cane. "What have you done with Flazino? He'd never let you take us!" she spat.
"Oooohhh. You mean that peseant with weak magic who betrayed my trust?" Magnifico replied with a look of pretend shock. He dropped the facade instantly. "His wish is gone. By tomorrow night, he'll be gone with it. Its a rather slow effect, really. Poor boy was already sick."
"Sick? SICK? Isn't that the same thing you claimed about my husband before you killed him?!" Sakina shouted at the man.
Magnifico dismounted the horse and eyed the woman. No one dared to utter a word. He knew very well about Asha's family and their closeness when Tomás was alive. The king saw him as the closest thing to a friend and even listen to some of his advice despite his better judgement. However, that all changed when the philosopher began to talk about his connection to the stars...
"Now, now, ma'am." He started, putting his hands behind his back. "No need to get hysterical over a misunderstanding. The man was on his last legs. I'm more surprised his father outlived him. That's just the reality of life."
"You lying son of a-" Sakina started to stomp towards the king, but Saving held her back. At this point, she forgot all about fearing him.
"Enough small talk." Magnifico waved his hand as she was just a passing thought. "Time for you all to come home to Rosas. Or do I have to force you to come?" His eyes narrowed at the people, his eyes began to glow green.
Ponk! 🌰
Something ponked him in the head? He looked down and saw a large action between his feet. "Who here thinks they're funny?" He growled he looked up at the people.
"There's more where that came from, buddy!" a familiar squeaky threatened the king. He looked up and saw the same red squirrel from earlier, this time perched on a tree branch. "You better leave our friends alone, or else!"
Magnifico had to hold back his laughter. "How...you can speak? You can understand me?" He questioned as if it was just something that was a slight oddity. The other residents however had gotten mostly used to it.
"Thanks to Star, we all can! Now get out of here before I get the whole animal kingdom to kick your butt!" The squirrel once again threatened him as she pulled another acorn from a hole in the tree.
The king's eyes widened. The star not only changed into animals, but he could grant them the ability to speak?! Were there no limits to what this being could do? He needs that star...
He allowed himself to laugh only once. "Go ahead! Do your worst!" He crossed his arms and waited for a fun show.
The squirrel whistled and dozens of other squirrels popped out of the top of trees, their cheeks filled with acorns. "FIRE!" she commanded, and they started to spit the nuts like ammo at the man and his soldiers.
The king covered his head and turned his back "Not in my handsome face!" he shouted at them.
The kids were certainly enjoying it, but the adults knew that the squirrels had only bought them a little time.
A grizzly bear ran out of the forest and rose to face the crowd. "I'm gonna need y'all to get back and run to the other side of the woods, now. We can handle this guy!" He assured them with a wink.
The crowd didn't argue as they immediately retread back the other way. The quails flew above them as they guided them. "This way, please!" One of them chirped as they flew ahead of them.
The bear turned and started running towards Magnifico. "Time for some bear necessities!" he exclaimed.
Magnifico was able to look up long enough to see the large beast pounce on him and pin him to the ground. "I got em, guys! He ain't going anywhere!"
Soldiers began to run towards their king and draw their swords, ready to attack. They stopped when they saw a small row of bunnies hopped in front of them. Their big sweet eyes shimmered as the looked up at the men. "Pwease don't hurt our fwiend!" the littlest one begged.
One of men lowered his sword and looked at the others. "Come on, we can't be that heartless!" He pleaded with comrades.
At that moment, another row of bunnies appeared behind them. Then another, until it was practically an army of furry knights before them. The big eyed rabbit suddenly had a sneaky grin as he said one word. "BOO!"
The rabbits charged towards the men, who began to scream as they tried to run from their furry doom. However, there was one turtle that was behind them, slowly moving forward. "Let's get em! Charge!" he yelled as he finally made two steps forward.
A flock of bluebirds began to peck at the soldiers heads when their helmets fell off and had to cover themselves to avoid getting their eyes plucked out.
Magnifico used his staff to block the bear's giant teeth from biting his head off. "I'm surrounded by idiots..." He grumbled. "Fine! If you want things done right, you have to do it yourself!"
With a forceful push of his feet, he knocked the bear off him, making the animal fall backwards. Once the king regained his footing, he sent some of his magic into the tip of his staff and combined it with with tiny of amount of Star's magic, turning it a bright green.
He aimed the staff near the bear, then released a massive green beam from it. The bear rolled out of the way, only to find he wasn't the target at all. The green magic zapped the tress behind him, sparking a fire amongst them.
The bear scurried away as fast he could, picking up the turtle who had just made it over to the rabbits. "Retreat! Retreat!" The turtle shouted. The squirrels scurried to the ground and ran off as well.
The king smirked. "Let's see that star's magic battle this." He aimed his staff at another patch of trees, spreading the fire. The birds and rabbits noticed the rising heat and fire, causing them to sprint into the other side of the forest in fear.
The dazed and confused guards were finally able to stand. A bit shaken, but otherwise fine. They looked around and saw the blaze slowly spreading. One of them became concerned. "Sir, isn't this a bit extreme? I know they're traitors but they don't deserve -"
Magnifico whipped around, his face grimaced with anger "I DECIDE WHAT EVERYONE DESERVES! NOW GET OVER THERE AND FIND THOSE TRAITORS BEFORE THEY PLOT TO DESTROY MY KINGDOM!"
The soldiers were taken aback for the second time by their king's behavior. First his treatment of his former apprentice, and now he wanted to burn down an entire forest to get these people? None if them dared to talk back to him and just followed orders.
Once they left, Magnifico put his hair back into place and took a deep breath. It was rare for him to lose his temper like that in front his subjects or soldiers. He couldn't slip up like that again, or else others might start asking questions of the royals true behavior.
Magnifico took a look around at the wildfire after he mounted his horse (which was already pretty terrified of its surroundings.) It was a lot of work to get this star, but he was certain it would all be worth it for infinite power. All of this was sure to draw Asha out and bring his prize to him.
We cut back to the crowd running as fast as they can through the woods. "Just a little farther everyone! We should be far way enough from that lunatic." the lead quail announced she she flapped her wings as hard as she could.
Suddenly the dark blue sky turned green as the fire blazed rapidly through the woods and caught up with the group, making everyone stop before they got burned. The quails stopped flying and looked for another way out. The flames surrounded everyone, sending scream s throughout the forest. "No...no, no, no, no. This can't be it for us." Sabino stammered, feeling fear for the first time since they escaped.
Soon the soldiers and Magnifico caught up, but could only get so close to the flame. They could see the terror in their eyes as the fire grew bigger. "There's nowhere for you to run, my friends. Surrender now and I can make this all go away with just a snap of my fingers." Magnifico offered.
It was no use. There was no way they could escape now, even with the animals help.
"Fine! You win, we'll go with you!" Sakina begrudgingly surrendered, as did the rest of the people.
"Finally, a wise choice." the king remarked, and with a snap of his fingers, the fire was snuffed out around them. The homes were slightly burnt, but still standing. The smell of burnt wood and plant life filled the air, making it harder for some of the older residents to breathe. The quails flew away as fast as possible to check on their own families.
"All right, everyone. If you value your lives and families, you'll come back with us to Rosas without anymore struggles." Magnifico announced as he eyed the residents.
"I still need to know one thing. What have you done with Asha?" Sakina snapped, still holding onto Sabino. "Easy there, Sakina. Make the wrong move, and he'll kill us all." Sabino warned her.
The king let out a hearty laugh. "Kill you? No, no, of course not! I need you all alive and well for tomorrow night!" He waved a hand dramatically in the air and his green magic created a grand picture of the colosseum back in Rosas. It also contained a crowd of people cheering on Magnifico as held the wishes (including Star) in his hands.
"You're all invited to partake in a wish ceremony of the century!" The king continued with a wicked grin and his eyes flickered green. "And Asha will be the guest of honor!"

FINAL THOUGHTS
And with this chapter, we've officially made it halfway through the story! I wanted to end this one a bit more intensely than I did with earlier chapters where the royals confront our heroes. Things are about get more serious in terms of the stakes, but we'll still have room for fun of course! Part of this is also supposed to reference Beauty and the Beast where the furniture fights back against Gaston, I just hope it came across. 😅 Also, Magnifico just doesn't know when to quit, his first instinct is to hunt something wants and take it as a prize. Which mostly leads into how he becomes Monster!Magnifico.
I also wanted to give a little time with Sakina and Sabino, since we haven't seen them since Chapter 2 and 7. I wasn't a fan of the canon film just ignoring Asha's family until she got the wish and went home, so I wanted to show that WG!Asha's family really is worried about her. In a sense, they're like Lilo's family. Its little and broken, but still good.
As for how the story will end, you're going to cry and so will I. Pray for Star. 🙏😭
So I'd like to also announce that the story will be going on break until after Thanksgiving. Both so I can spend more time with family, and I can plan out the second half of the story. Its almost time to bring in the rest of the songs (writing At All Costs' scene is going to break me emotionally) and the last two deleted scenes. BUT! I'm gonna release more redesigns of the characters, a base for a teaser poster, a part 2 of the magic system and a couple shorts just like I did with the Valentino short! And I'll be releasing some original content for my SuperZeroes story! So there's still gonna be some activity! 😉
Thanks for reading!

Goodbye
PAIRING - Miya Osamu x Reader WC - 1.3K GENRE - angst A/N - what can i say... couples fight and when they have a temper things get rough... CW - osamu and reader both are quick on the draw. arguing. crying. samu calls reader "angel"
PREV PART | MASTERLIST | NEXT PART
The length of the dining room table stood between you and Osamu.
Six feet between him and you. His angel.
His angel who was currently fighting tears and anger.
Fighting hurt.
Hurt that he caused.
The two of you had argued. Argued like you never had before. Shouts and words thrown that neither of you had truly meant. Over something that started so trivial.
A single comment.
"Maybe I should've jus' stayed on track with my brother. 'Stead of doin' this." Osamu had sighed the comment as he looked over the piles of research he was doing on how to open a successful business.
It was everything he wanted. And he was doubting it.
You'd froze in your tracks, turning from your spot at the kitchen counter and heading back to him at the dining table.
"Are you insane!?" You'd shouted your words, you'd meant well, to be encouraging. "You didn't want to do that, you wanted this." You'd tapped the papers in front of him and missed the way he rolled his eyes slightly. "Osamu, you can't give up on your dream."
"What if I was wrong!" He'd slammed shut the book he'd been looking at, nearly slamming your fingers into it as he looked up at you. You'd flinched slightly from the action and the volume of his voice.
"You weren't wrong, Osamu." You tried to be reassuring but he only scoffed at you. This time, you couldn't miss the way he rolled his eyes. "What is wrong with you?" Irritation seeped into your voice as you scrunched your eyebrows in confusion.
"Wha's wrong with me?" He'd scoffed and shook his head, his own temper rising. The next words to leave his mouth left you ready for war. "Easy fer ya t'be all optimistic when ya get t'dream 'bout it an' I get t'be out there being the one actually doin' it!"
"I'm sorry!? I just 'dream about it'?" Your eyes opened in shock, was he serious? You'd spent hours upon hours helping him research for it, had signed yourself up for a night class in finances so that you could help him.
Words exchanged between you both got loud and harsh, fast.
Irritated words turning to just insults, hurling each other's personality traits at each other.
Things you usually loved about each other now used as fuel to the fire.
Tensions rising until they snapped.
"I can't fucking stand you sometimes Miya!" You'd screamed it, eyes watering as you slammed your hands against the table.
"Don' worry darlin'," he'd spit the pet name out like venom on his lips, "ya don' gotta if ya don' wanna." He'd turned on his heel and headed for the door.
"Where are you going?" You'd been nowhere near done with your arguing, blood still pumping erratically through your veins.
"What's it matter!?" He shouted back, dragging his jacket on. "I'm leaving." He was shoving his feet into his shoes and you bit back another shout meant for him. "Goodbye."
A single word slipped from his lips as he slammed the door behind him. The sound echoed through the now quiet apartment and it felt like someone had punched you straight through the heart.
He had stormed out. You couldn't help but collapse into the chair that he had originally been sitting in, tears finally falling as you glanced at the closed front door.
Osamu had stormed out and let venom mix in with the one word you hated most as he spit it at you.
He hadn't meant for it to come out as harsh as it did.
He hadn't meant a single one of the harsh things he'd thrown at you.
He hadn't meant to start an argument because you'd been trying to be supportive.
He'd been stressed, you both were. It wasn't fair to you. He knew that now. But he couldn't go back in. Not yet.
He realized he needed to cool off first. Decided that a short walk around the block might do the trick. He only got down the street, sighing as he took a seat on the curb.
He took a deep sigh, his breath fogging up the cold night air. He tipped his head back, hoping that maybe looking at the stars would calm him down.
His eyes, like always, were immediately drawn over to the constellation you both loved so much.
One look at Orion had sent a heavy feeling in his chest tugging for him to go home. The one that always tugged when you had to walk away from him.
He was off the ground and walking home before he could think. Back to you. To where he was now.
The length of the dining room table standing between you and him.
Six feet between him and you. His angel.
His angel who was currently fighting tears and anger.
Fighting hurt.
Hurt that he caused.
His hands were currently resting on the table at his end. Leaning his weight onto them as he tried to find the right words to form an apology.
You hadn't moved since he'd left. Still sitting in the same chair on your end. But the silence that radiated from you was deadly to him.
You'd calmed down the second he walked out, the anger dissipating into just pure sadness, an empty feeling at him leaving.
The words of the argument hung above your head heavily now.
He hadn't even gotten the courage to look up at you yet, unable to face the hurt he caused.
"You said goodbye. It sounded so final, Osa." Your voice was smaller than usual; it sounded wet.
His eyes snapped up to you quickly, taking you in. Your cheeks were wet with fresh tears and rubbed raw from where you wiped at them roughly trying to get them to stop even though you had since given up the effort. One look at you was all it took for him to abandon his hesitance and rush forward, quickly closing the gap between you.
He pulled your face into his hands gently, cupping her cheeks as he got closer. "No." He whispered, his thumbs brushed softly just under her eyes, catching some of the wetness.
What had you even been fighting about?
He tried to rattle his brain to remember but he couldn't now. He didn't care. Nothing was that important, not compared to you.
"Angel, no." He knelt by your feet, forcing you to look him in the eyes. "I promise." He made sure to lock his eyes with yours and waited.
It took you a moment to find the sincerity behind his words, the tears gathering along his waterline, before you let your body relax slightly.
"A promise I will never break." He continued after feeling you ease up slightly. "No goodbye of mine will ever be forever." He felt his heart break as you let out a sob then. He could never be the reason you sounded like that again.
Your arms twisted around his neck easily, falling into him as he cradled your head to his chest. "I don't wanna fight anymore, Osa." It came out as a whimper into his body that made you feel a little pathetic even though you couldn't help it.
"Promise me that you'll never let me go."
"I promise." He whispered back to you, and he fully meant it. "I'll never leave you."
He couldn't let himself blink now.
Couldn't risk to miss a moment with you.
Not even this moment, an aching in both of your hearts.
You were everything to him. He meant it.
"No goodbye of mine will ever be forever." He whispered in sincerity. "I promise."

You Saved Me
Summary: You are a 22 year old woman and have a 3 year old daughter by your wife who regularly abuses you. One day a blonde woman witnesses your wife being physical with you and does something about it.
Pairing: Villanelle x Female Reader x Daughter
Word Count: 1193
A/N: Critique is welcomed!
I'm sitting at a table in the back of the coffee shop just watching people live their daily lives. I wish I could be like them, I wish I could live a normal life but I can't. I have to carry around this burden because of Eve, knowing that it was my fault that she died. I should've been more careful, I should've known it was too good to be true. It should've been me, I already caused her too much pain, and now it's stuck with her forever.
"Shut up, stop bothering me, I'll get her medicine tomorrow, just relax!"
I snap my head up to the direction of the noise to find that it was coming from outside. It is a horrible day to be out, the sky was glum how it often is in the UK. There were two fairly attractive women who seemed to be arguing, one significantly taller than the other one standing at about 6'3 and the other 5'3. I looked down next to them and saw a little girl who looked about 3 years old. She's in a stroller sleeping bundled up in blankets. I look back up to the couple and witness the taller woman become increasingly agressive to the shorter one. Normally I would mind my business but this was different. The shorter woman looked scared, and when Eve died in my arms I promised her that I would be better, that I would do better for her. So I keep my eyes trained on the couple, making sure that nothing bad happens, then SMACK. I see the taller woman slap the other one. No one looked, no one cared. Just me. But for some reason I really find myself caring. I want to say something, do anything really, but I don't know if that's my place. So I watch. I watch as the taller woman walks away from her and the child, or rather storms away. I watch as the woman begins to tear up and I watch how the child remains asleep. Then I watch as she slowly looks up at me. She stares at me for a solid minute and I hold her gaze, she looks scared, maybe that I could report what I saw, or worried that I won't. I watch as she peels her eyes away from me and violently wipes her tears and decides to not enter the shop. She walks away rapidly and pushes the stroller along with her. That is when I decide I have a new obsession, an obsession to make sure that this beautiful woman and her child are okay.
I decide to return back to the same coffee shop the next day in hopes that I might see the woman and child again. When I arrive she was already there with her daughter who seemed to be doing better than the day before. They're sitting at the table I was the previous day. The mother, I assume was drinking a hot chocolate or a coffee, and the girl was golfing down a croissant. I normally don't care for kids, in-fact I think that they are quite repulsive and fucking annoying, but this one didn't seem like the usual kid. She seemed different, fun maybe. I enter the welcoming aura of the coffee shop and take in how beautifully decorated it is. There are string lights strung all over the walls and synthetic vines right under them. The beige colored walls complemented the vines and string lights beautifully, reminds me of Eve in a way. Warm and inviting.
"Hello, welcome to Carol's what can I get you?"
I looked up to the counter and see a young woman who looked to be about 19 years old asking me what I wanted to order.
"A coffee please, black with two sugars." I replied back to her
"Alright, that will be out in about two minutes"
"Okay, thanks." I give her the money in cash and head to the table the mother and child were sitting at. When I take my seat the mother immediately looks at me with a confused and slightly sour expression.
"Umm, hello?" She says and looks at me confused.
Her accent isn't British, I recognize that she's American immediately.
"Mommy is she your friend?"
The little girl speaks up and looks at her mom. I realize that she's American too so that means they must have moved here recently.
"No Jatu, I have no idea who this woman is. Who are you exactly?"
"Villanelle." I smile and reach out my hand so she can shake it, and she surprisingly does.
"Y/N, and this is my daughter Kadijatu." She gestures to her kid.
"Hiiiii, you're pretty!" Kadijatu averts her eyes to
Me and sticks out her hand as well. I shake it.
"Why thank you, it's nice to know someone here has manners." I smirk at her mother and Jatu giggles.
Y/N rolls her eyes then stale faces me.
"So, why have you chosen to grace us with your presence today? Do you enjoy bothering people?" She looks at me smug.
"Yes actually, it's one of my favorite hobbies." I grin widely at her. She rolls her eyes. I lean in closer to her and whisper.
"And I saw what happened to you the other day, I wanted to make sure that you're.....okay." She stiffens almost immediately and grabs her daughters hand and her purse.
"Okay, well this has been lovely, thank you for keeping us company but my wife is expecting me home. Goodbye." She offers me a fake smile and gets up from her seat.
I stare at her and her child and grabs Y/N's arm and inspect it.
"You really rather go back there, why would you subject yourself to that?" I stare at her in her eyes and grip her arm tighter.
She tries to shake herself out of my grasp but I'm stronger than her. I think she's scared. No, I know she is. But I honestly have no interest in hurting her, I don't have much interest in hurting people these days. Aside from Carolyn, the twelve, and Y/N's wife. Never mind, I guess I do.
"You know, I saw you the other day. I was afraid of you saying something to the cops maybe... I think you should leave me alone. It's none of your business." She stares at me with venom in her eyes but also a sort of understanding.
"Okay." I let go of her arm. "Take my number." I pull out a pen out of my breast pocket and write it on her hand.
She scoffs. "I don't want your number."
"Well you have it." We stare at each other for a while until she averts her eyes.
"Jatu let's go." She looks at her daughter.
"Okay, bye Nellie!" She waves excitedly at me
"Bye!" I smile at her and return her wave.
I watch as the pair walk out the door in hopes that Y/N will actually call me. I think she will, I think she was just waiting on a way out.

New Feelings
pt. I of III?
-a chris sturniolo x POC!reader
angst, fluff
in which Chris finds himself falling for a girl, something he hadn’t seen coming anytime soon.
warnings: mentions of smoking, party/get together
Chris POV
It was going on 1 am and me, Matt, and Nick were still hanging out at Landon’s crib. It was Me, Matt, Nick, Waylon, Landon. and a couple of Landon's friends I just met today. Landon decided to invite a few friends over which I didn’t really mind but apparently it’s all girls which kinda kills the “bros” vibe because they kinda just all branch off to speak to them.. me, Matt, and Nick usually leave by then because there’s no fun anymore however Matt is knocked out on the couch this time so we’ll see where this goes..
Once we all decide on a movie to watch the girls show up which i receive an immediate headache from because a few of them are loud.. mainly the first two there’s three more that come in and they’re pretty chill.. they all start to roll up joints and stuff which also gives me a headache because of the smell and smoke but who am i to tell Landon not so smoke in his own home.
After about 30 minutes another girl walks in, she seems pretty cool, she was brown skinned, had blonde braids that were curled a little at the ends, wearing a cool looking nature kinda vibe fit... basically a lot of green and brown colors and a lot of jewelry on. I liked her vibe, she then came over to speak to me.
"Hey wassup, you seem a little quiet.." she bugged. "oh I'm just slightly out of my comfort zone.." I respond. "oh sorry, is it me? I can leave you be.." she worried but that wasn't it "oh nah, you're good.. it's just a lot more people here than I planned to see" I replied. "ohhhh, valid. what's your name then? maybe we can try and get your mind on something more substantial." she asked "Chris, what about you?" I reply.. "I'm Carter." she replies laying out he hand for a shake which I thought was kinda weird but I shake hers anyways.. "you friends with Landon?" she asks "oh yeah I met him around a year ago at a event" I reply. "Oh cool" she responds " what about you?" I ask. "I'm just here with Riley.. she left me in traffic though." she rolled her eyes. "damn so she just left you there in the street" I joke knowing that's not how she meant it. " hahaha no I was driving boy" she laughs.. Her friend then calls her over to talk I assume..
By that time Matt had also woken up so I head over to him. "Yo are you done caking with ole girl?" he jokes "Bro shut up we just met, I barely know her name.." I argue. "where is Nick" he asks. "I don't know last time I saw him, he was sitting here next to you." I respond agitated about the topic of Carter. "well.. help me find him..I'm ready to go" Matt responds giving me the same agitated energy. We both get up.
I walk around from the living room to look in the Kitchen whilst Matt checks the bathroom, and I run into Carter coming through the doorway. "ouch" she exclaims look down and grabbing the joint that fell from her hands. "oh sorry, have you seen my brother, I don't know if you know him but he looks just like me you couldn't miss him" . he speak "ohh yeah, he was on the couch last time I saw him" she replies "oh no not that one, there's three of us I should've been more clear" I laugh "ohhh is he like taller" she asks. "I mean no, but he does wear platforms so kinda" I say. "oh he's behind you walking up now" she jokes. I turn around and see Nick and Matt walking towards me as she walks past me "thanks" I shout over the loud music. she just keeps walking nodding me off in a "you're welcome" kind of way.
"Yo! I told you to find Nick not cake up with brown skinned baddie some more" Matt exclaims jokingly which did nothing but annoy me more. "Bro can you shut up with that I barely know her and you're making all of this weird like.. I wasn't "caking" anything" I arguing highly annoyed now.. "Can we just leave gosh" Nick sighs.. "Where were you even?" I ask Nick.. "I was talking with some of the girls in the other room" he responds. "yeah well we couldn't find you wasnt about to walk in the room with and bunch of girls to ask where my gay brother is.. seems a bit stereo typical" I argue annoyed for even having to wait.
Carter's POV
I see Chris and his brothers heading for the door which immediately chimes an alarm in my head reminding me to ask Chris for his info.. I don't know why, I just liked his aura, he seemed very genuine and funny.. my brain was just automatically drawn to him from the jump and all my friends were speaking on me and him talking separately from everyone else earlier when I first arrived. "Chris!" I shout. "why're you leaving? still having no fun" I stopping him. He looks back letting the door shut after his brothers.. "oh, yea I would've said earlier if my brother wasn't sleep.. I don't really drive so like, he has to drive and he won't if he's woken up involuntarily" he tells.. "oh, I get it.." I add looking around a bit.. "We should exchange numbers..I think you're pretty chill." I nervously spatter. "it's cool if you don't want to I know we just met" I add. "No for real, let's do it" he replies pulling his phone from his pockets of his sweats. "oh cool, ill give you my number then.." I reply. I grab his phone from him add a new contact labeled "Cartuh🐢" adding my number and handing him his phone back.. "cool" he takes his phone back pushing it in his pocket then looking up at me. "oh cool, I guess Ill see you around" I say awkwardly looking at his hat.. in to which he says "yeah for sho" grabbing the door nob and twisting it heading down the hall where I can see his brothers standing impatiently. I head back in the party over to Riley to let her know about my successes.
Chris' POV
It's around 8pm now, Im sitting at my desk playing Fortnite with Matt bored as life.. but I can't get my mind off Carter. Soon as we left the party all I could think of was Carter.. I don't know what it is either because I usually don't get this was over girls.. of course I'm straight but I don't get my feelings caught up like this.. I'm usually pretty against getting close to any girl because of my pass "talking" stages a lot of them usually just want money, or clout and ill be damed if I'm just a pawn for someone to climb the social latter. However for some reason if like nothing but purity with Carter.. and I say stuff like that and feel this way after meeting her and speaking to her only around 4 times.. which sickens me..
I decide to text her hoping she just doesn't respond tonight so I don't have to worry about thinking of a reply and getting sweaty hands, I swear I haven't felt this way since freshman year.
Cartuh🐢
Yo, its Chris Oh hey Chris, I didn't expect you to actually text me.. you seem pretty timid about the while situation I thought you might've thought I was weird or something O I was just busy. busy doing what? playing Fortnite with your boys wow that's not all I do.. I had to film something I was joking I didn't even know you played fr.. what'd you film like a YouTube video? yea basically with my brothers.. ohhh we should play some Fortnite maybe? I got a full squad rn but maybe another time? Oh all maybe later.. you free to hang out sometime this week to hang out? not a date or nothing... just chill?
Oh how I wish she actually meant for it to be a date.. maybe I can invite her over to chill at my house in a day or two.. maybe this weekend.. I left her on delivered not sure how to respond..I shouldn't have lied about having a full squad.. then maybe Matt could feel the vibe out to help me decide but too late now.. ill just have to wait it out.. maybe well catch each other around one of these days or at another get together at Landon's crib.. For now ill just play it cool and try and act normal.. I hate feeling this way because as soon as I open up to her I feel I'll just have my feeling played with.... I guess that's just how it goes when you're dealing with New Feelings...
a/n: new feelings is a little short story it maybe have 2-3 part depending on how well it does and if I decide to keep writing.. THANKS FOR READING also thanks for all the love on my first story it means a lot :)

Maybe Friends Aren't So Bad
FIRST FIC!! This was a request by @fefe-the-cat! I hope you like it :D
TW for: Canon typical violence, a good amount of swearing (cmon it's Dallas Winston)
773 words
Dallas's day was not going well. Hell, his whole life wasn't going well. He had woken up with a hang over, which was never enjoyable, but he could survive that. It wasn't until he found out Sylvia had cheated on him once again had things really turned to shit.
Dallas needed to pick a fight to release all the pent up emotion he felt. And he did end up finding some random soc to rile up; what he failed to realize was that this particular soc wasn't alone. In fact he had several freinds that Dallas had failed to notice. Friends who were much, much larger than Dallas.
So here Dallas was, limping his way to the Curtis house with blood dripping into one eye. God I hate it when blood gets in my eye Dallas thought as he roughly wiping his eye, just agrivating the wound further.
His plan was to just go in, get cleaned up, get out. No one should've been thereat the moment. Soda and Steve were both working at the DX. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Two-Bit were all at school. Darry should be at his roofing job. Life, however, had other plans. Or rather Darrel Curtis had other plans.
" Glory, Dal, what the hell happened to you?!"
Dallas flinched when he saw that Darry was in fact Not at work. Squeezing his eyes shut for a second to ease the pain from Darry's hollering bringing back that damn hangover headache. Dallas shouldered his way past Darry, trying to get to the bathoom where all the first aid supplies were.
"I'm fine Darry. Now shut it, will ya'? I've got a migraine." Darry wasn't having it though. Stepping infront of Dallas, Darry gripped Dally's shoulders trying to examine his injuries.
"You look like you got the shit beat outta you. Did you get jumped or something?" Dallas glared at his friend… wait…friend? God Dallas really was getting soft. When did he start thinking about the gang as his friends? He never thought about his old gang members back in New York as friends. Why is this any differant. He needed too change the perspective of the gang . They weren't friends. They were allies. Only al- Jesus fucking christ, could that cut stop bleeding?! Blood was dripping into his eye again. He hated when blood got in his eyes.
"-allas? Dallas!?" Dallas was shot out of his thoughts by Darry's worried voice. "Are you ok? I asked you if you needed help cleaning that cut up? it looks like it needs stitches…"
Right. Dallas needs to clean the cuts that littered his face. One of those cuts kept getting blood in his eye. He hated having blood gets in his eye. He wiped his eye again. "Jesus, Darry, I told ya'. Im Fine. I just don't keep any first aid shit at Buck's."
Darry's eyes scrunched up in worry. "Are you sure? Because it looks pretty bad… I've done stitches a few times. They may not be pretty but it'll get the job done."
Dallas gritted his teeth. Why couldn't Darry just let it go? It's not like he should care! Dallas Winston was a no good JD. A hood. He was a bad influince on Ponyboy. He never did anything that was good or useful. All he did was mess up.
In his emotion, Dallas hadn't realized that he was saying his thoughts outloud. But what he did notice was Darry's pained expression. Fuck. Darry wasn't supposed hear that.
"Dal…" Darry's voice was strained with worry. His eyes were soft. Softer than anyones eyes should look while looking at Dallas Winston.
Some emotion that he didn't recognize started to build up in Dallas. And of course Dallas turned that emotion into anger. Because anger is all Dallas knew how to feel.
"What the fuck is that look? Are you pittying me? Dont fucking pitty me Darrel. I'm not some little kid who cant handle himself. I don't need you to worry about me. And I don't— GOD DANMIT WHY DOES BLOOD KEEP DRIPPING IN MY EYE!" Dallas furiously wiped his eye, just worsening the cut that was causing him his strife.
In pain and in a shit emotional state, Dallas began to do something he hadn't done in years. Cry.
It was as the first sob hit that Dallas felt a pair of arms wrap around him. Dally started to cry even more. He hadn't had a hug in… he doesn't even know how long. He melted into his friends arms. Maybe Darry did care about him. Maybe having friends is a good thing. Maybe friends aren't so bad.

Okokok, Its time to stop mentally preparing... (for Pomni AND me in this case cuz I sorta regret doing this-) this part is probably gonna be longer than the first
[also tagging @sm-baby again. I'm sorry if I'm infiltrating you notifications but if I tagged you in the first it makes sense to tag you in the rest of the parts]
Here is part one of the Fic:
Okay now here we go again...
PART 2 OF:
☆Settings for two☆
Pomni, not having much to do while waiting for Caine and the others, just sat on the floor on the stage. Letting herself stare off into space, with the thought of escape still circling her head.
Caine was gone for a bit longer than she thought he'd be. She thought he would just snap his fingers and bring the cast out against their will. Ya know, like the oblivous AI that he is. Or at least he appeard to be to her... Then she heard the distant bustling and chatting of the others getting closer:
"Do we really have to do this for her??"
"I guess so. But I don't quite mind."
"Yeah, whatever. I just think it's stupid that he's involving us..."
"The only thing stupid about it is that he's involving you, Jax."
"Oh, settle down, guys! I think it's really sweet of him!"
"Shut up, Dollface!"
"C-can you guys stop arguing..?"
"Oh! Of course! Sorry, Gangle."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever..."
"Let's just get the day over with..."
Pomni got up as they all lined up side by side in the center of the room. But She was still a bit confused...
"What on earth were they talking about..?"
The thought lingerd with her, but it didn't invade her mind as much as the inevitable effect of her plan. But her train of thought again was interrupted by the voice of Caine bursting into their muffled conversations:
"Good morning again, my superstars!"
He swooped around the corner, approaching from the direction of the hallway.
"I hope you all are excited for today's adventure! This one is sure to be a doozy!"
He began to explain the rules of the adventure. "Something Something, the grounds, blah blah blah, Something about the Carnival? Or perhaps it was the Lake?" Not like she would know. She wasn't paying much attention. Again, all that was on her mind was the idea of leaving. When finally she tuned back in to Caine as he wrapped up his speach:
"Alright everyone! I hope you all enjoy the adventure! Stay safe and have fun!"
*Snap!*
And POOF! Caine and the others was teleported to who knows where.
Execpt, for Pomni?
She started to panic a bit:
"Im still here!? Should've known not to get my hopes up... Maybe he set that door there as a trap like the others..."
Well, at least she was alone...
*Poof!*
"Pomni!? What're you still doing here!?"
"Oh God..."
He snapped in attempt to fix what he thought was some sort of bug on his end.
Nothing happened.
Another snap.
Nothing.
He began to grow visibly frustrated, continually snapping as he spoke:
"M-my apologies, dear! There seems to be something wrong with-"
He turned to see the blue door slightly open. Pomni grew worried:
"Oh god... Did he see me in there?? Is he gonna do something to me??"
To her surprise, upon connecting the dots, he simply laughed it off:
"Haha! It appears someone got into the old settings room!"
"..."
"I told Bubble to quit messing with code without permission! I'll be giving him a stern talking to later..."
Though still tense, she let out a releived sigh:
"Sorry again, my dear! I guess this means you'll have to sit out of today's adventure!"
"I-it's fine, Caine. If that's all, I'll just head back to my room now-"
"W-wait!"
His response was a bit more panicked than usual:
"I-I'm afraid you can not go to your room at this time..."
This, of course, alarmed her:
"Wh- I- why not..?"
"You should be in the adventure right now, so even if you tried, the place would glitch like crazy!"
"Oh... well, uh- now what?"
"I... I'm not sure. This hasn't really happened before..."
"Mhmm..."
"Yup..."
It was a bit off-putting seeing Caine this quiet. Normally, he's always bugging her and the others with his antics. Not that she would prefer if he did, just- it didn't feel right that he wasn't.
Caine to must have realized just how akward it felt. He attempted to continue the conversation:
"Ya know, lately a lot of things have happened here that haven't happened before since you got here! It's pretty funny now that I think about it!"
"R-really? Like what..?"
"Well, if I knew, I would tell you! Haha!"
She wasn't quite sure what he was implying. "Was it some sorta joke? A reference?"
"S-sorry, what? I don't quite get it..."
"Well, as a not human being, I have been trying to learn as much as I can from you humans! I want to make sure that this place is as normal and comfortable as it can be!"
As he continued, he seemed more down to earth than he usually was:
"I tried to ask everyone for information about the human world, but either they say they don't remember or they just don't answer me at all."
This answer from Caine caught Pomni very off guard. She didn't expect him to open up to something like this. Especially to her.
"Gee, well- I-"
"But the feedback you gave me this morning, It made me realize. Perhaps I have been asking the wrong questions?"
She wasn't sure how to answer. Never has she been good at giving good feedback, but still she decided to give her best- "advice" You could say.
"You mean you should ask more about their personal issues with the place? Well- it might be different for everyone, but it might give you at least a few of the answers you're looking for? I-"
She was cut off by Caine rapidly shaking her hand:
"Why thank you again, my dear, for your feedback! Hopefully, this will improve everyone's stay!"
The rapid hand-shaking continued:
"Y-you're welcome?"
The shaking finally stopped, making Pomni almost fall forward:
"Well then, I suppose we should wait for the others' return."
"Yeah... I guess we'll be here for a while, heh."
He checked his WackyWatchTM:
"My! It's already almost over! They will be here any minute now!"
"Wait, really?"
"If my WackyWatchTM is right! It's as if it only started not even 5 minutes ago! Ha! That's one more odd thing that's happened since you've been here! Care to explain that one?"
Pomni had to think about that one for a moment. She hadn't had this sort of experience for a while:
"Well, if i remember, humans usually are unaware of time when doing something fun or being around someone that they enjoy being around."
This answer seemed to peak his interest even more:
"I am surprised that you are even willing to share this information with me! Is there anything else?"
As their conversation continued, Pomni thought:
"Huh... maybe this guy really does have good intentions..."
And there! Cut! End part! I can't write anymore-
Stay tuned for the third and final part!
(It is 1 am for me rn and I started at like 10 or 11 oh my goodness)

part two, jared’s help [jensen ackles]
series masterlist | main masterlist
two,
"You need to stop this. It's stupid." That but was obvious. I know it’s stupid, but so what? I can do whatever i wanted, it’s my life. "No, don't even think about it, Laila. This isn't a 'i can do whatever i want' situation. You're really hurting Jensen, and he's my best friend." Now that hit.
"I didn't mean to." I mumble lowly, giving him my back as i pour both cokes into ice filled glasses, then blending some pomegranate syrup into it. He sighs, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"I know, but you need to do better. You can't keep running away like this, it's been twelve months. At least talk to him. Be in a room with him without looking like you saw a ghost." I nod once but it doesn't seem to register what he's asking because he clears his throat and tries again, "Laila, i'm setting you both up to hangout tomorrow."
My eyes widen as i stop pouring the drinks and turn to look at him. "What the fuck did you do?"
"I just told him that you guys would hang out tomorrow at the diner next to your apartment. you should've seen how his eyes lit up, Lils, come one, you need do this." My stomach twists and turns at both the news and Jensen’s reaction. I know I’m bad, but not that much, right? God, maybe I had been rude this past year especially with him and Danneel’s divorce. I don’t even see him anymore.
"Okay..." I hesitate and Jared gives me a worried glance. "But can we just drop it after this? We don't talk about it again and i'll stop coming to set if it upsets him."
"That's not what upsets him and you know it, you're always welcome on set we love having you there." I glare at him to shut up and he does, taking the small win.
We make dinner until Gen comes back from the store and then all sit to eat. i’ll never get tired of this, my little family. I know how hard it was for Jared to accept that he actually has Gen in his life so he used to have me ground him, come on some of their dates to make sure he wasn't being played. It annoyed Gen at first, but now that she's gotten to understand Jared, she knows how much our friendships means to both of us so she came up with the idea of having 'family' dinners every Sunday, just the three of us.
+
"You did what?" Mad was an understatement. Jensen had told his best friend his feelings towards the Laila situation in confidence not so he can run off and tell her the first chance he gets. Jensen wanted to at least appear to have some dignity in front of her, she used to be Danneel's best friend for God's sake.
"I just told her that you guys need to talk more, told her you'd love to go out with her and she agreed."
"Right, but i think you forgot to do something, Jared, really minor," he says, voice laced with sarcasm, "asking me whether or not i actually would love to go out with her."
"You wouldn't?" that's not the point, not the one Jensen was making anyways. What he meant was that... damn you, Jared. that's what he meant.
"You can curse me out all you want but i did you a solid. You guys needed to go out at least once in your life. I'll give you her number and the address of the place. You two firgure out a time, i'm not doing all the work."
"All the work? Who asked you to do anything at all?" Jared rolls his eyes but snatches his friends phone to add Laila's number in anyways. Jared knows Jensen's just letting his frustration out, he doesn't actually care, in fact, if he didn't know any better he'd say he's excited.
"Text her tonight cause i told her you're going out tomorrow. Don't make me look bad."
"It isn't a date."
"Yeah? Might as well be with how you two are acting." Jared rolls his eyes and walks onto set where he's called.
"Whatever." He mumbles like a child, checking the phone number under the contact 'Laila Rhodes SPN SET' as if he needed a reminder of where he knows her from. Jensen, though he'd never admit it, is actually excited and very pleased with his friend for setting this up, he wants to talk to laila more than anything seeing as he's spoken to her as much as he's spoken to the crafts team, probably a little less even if she used to come over.
When she'd be at their house, Danneel would more often than not shoo jensen away to go make coffee for them or hang out with the kids, or any other stupid excuse. At first, he thought it was because she didn't want them to meet but she later told him that Laila's very shy around new people and she didn't want her to leave. Jensen understood so he bit his tongue, but now, he's known her for 5 years, shy or not, they'd have to talk eventually. He'd make sure of it.

Headcanon where ganke and miles 42 know each other since before the academy but ganke gets in and miles doesn't and its just very bittersweet because miles knows he should let go of ganke to keep him safe but he just can't bring himself to do it.
[And I wrote it because I couldn't help myself]
Weekends
It was a Saturday when they got their letters, both practically jumping with excitement as they ripped open the envelope seal. Miles had ran straight to gankes after snatching the letter right out the mailmans hand. They'd been planning this for months now, going to visions academy together, staying in the same dorm, just the two of them where they didn't have to worry about people and circumstances.
But as they sat there on gankes dining room table and read through the letter, the bubbling excitement slowly dwindled and settled into a pit in miles' stomach. He did not get in.
The smile on gankes mothers face as she hovered over him to get a glimpse of the letter told a different story.
It was Saturday again when ganke finished packing his bags, exactly a week from getting the letters. They were at the train station, his parents getting the luggage into the compartment, and Miles tagged along with the promise to help. He had told ganke that he was fine, that it wasn't a big deal, that he'll try again next year. But ganke, as stubborn as he is, obviously did not believe a word that came out of his mouth.
Miles had always thought ganke worried too much. Miles also thought that he did not deserve to cared about this much.
There was a divot in the long red brick walls of the train station, a small corner where no one could see them but they could see all the hustle and bustle of the people coming in and out.
The noise didn't bother him. Because the world fell silent every time he was with ganke. Like nothing else mattered, just them and the moment.
Today though, today was different because as they stood in their hole in the wall, miles couldn't bring himself to look up at ganke
"It's only like a 15-minute train ride, so... not that far, " ganke said, but miles would much rather focus on the birthmark on ganke's thumb. Had it always been there?
"And I'll come back every weekend," ganke said again. Miles only squeezed his hand tighter. How had he never noticed it before
"And I'll call! I'll call every day. I promise, " Maybe it was for the better. Maybe he should've never noticed it , maybe then he would actually be able to listen to what Ganke was saying.
"Anything you need miles," Ganke continues, voice softer than velvet. He knows Miles isn't listening. "I'm only a phone call away"
Maybe this is for the better. He goes away, and he stays safe. Away from this place, away from the prowler...
'Away from me.'
"Miles," ganke says again. It takes some strength to pull his hand out of miles' grip. His eyes are still glued to Ganke's hand, and ganke has to cup his cheeks in both hands to finally make him look up. "im not leaving you."
And it hurts because he should. He should leave Miles. But they've had this argument before, and it's already taking everything in Miles to not choke on his words and break down in tears right there.
"Yeah, I know," he finally replies, his voice cracks, and it's embarrassing because he knows ganke heard it too. As much as he tries to keep his expression blank, he knows his eyes have already betrayed him.
Ganke doesn't say a word. He just leans down and presses a soft chaste kiss on his lips and miles practically melts into a pool right there in his arms.
Ganke can be so mean sometimes. He makes Miles want to be selfish. How can he let go of the one person who makes the hole in his heart feel like it's disappeared?
Miles is selfish.
But ganke is cruel .
He rests his forhead on top of Miles' . Miles squeezes his eyes shut.
"I'll never leave you," he repeats. "I promise, Miles"
Don't make stupid promises
"Never"
Don't be so cruel
"BOYS TIME TO GO!" they hear gankes dad shout into the crowd
Miles steps away first. Inhales a sharp breath before reaching out to fix ganke's blazer collar
"I know you're going to a stupid nerd school, but try not to become a total loser, yeah?" He says, trying to ease away the pressure they'd unintentionally created
Ganke chuckles in surprise. "Not you talking ?!Mr. 1st place in every years science fair, " he teases, throwing a light punch on miles' shoulder as they walk out their corner and onto the platform.
And Miles laughs. He lets ganke fill his heart again. Why can't he be selfish for just a little while longer?
As he watches ganke walk down the platform and onto the train, there's a sudden lump in his throat. He needs to say something, but he doesn't think he can
"Ganke!" He calls out, the boy turns around. one foot on the platform, the other on the train, "I..." he tries, but his breath gets hitched in his throat
Ganke looks at him, searching , hoping, begging for him to finish
Miles knows he should say it. But he also knows he won't
"I'll see you on Saturday"
For a second, it feels like Gankes smile falters, and it's painful to watch, but he smiles nonetheless. He nods his head and looks back at Miles one last time
"Saturday!"
