— we never go out of style
⋆.˚。°🫧⋆.ೃ࿔ glinda goes on another obnoxiously big shopping spree which calls for a fashion show just for elphaba. elphaba’s just happy she gets to watch her girl model a bunch of pretty clothes, but she also learns to appreciate her own beauty in the process.
౨ৎ warnings: suggestive talk and glinda like half naked in one part but doesn’t get more than that.

“elphieeee!”
elphaba looked up from her book, eyebrows furrowed and eyes squinting in pure confusion. she had to be hearing things. she turned her attention back to the book on her lap. until she heard it again, muffled but even louder.
“elphieeeeeee!”
elphaba’s head snapped up again. this time she stood up off her bed, looked around the room. she could easily identify it as glinda voice, simply by the nickname she was calling her by. it sounded as if though she was yelling it from in the walls. glinda couldn’t have possibly gotten trapped in the—
“elphieee thropp!”
the balcony. of course.
elphaba rushed over to the doors of the balcony. she was worried why glinda was possibly screaming her name from down there. she looked down to see glinda standing there with her arms crossed. surrounding her? probably about twenty shopping bags.
“glinda,” elphaba said sharply, noticing the attention being drawn to the two of them already. “what are you doing?”
“i don’t want to carry these bags up i’m tired,” the blonde girl whined. she had gone off on a shopping spree earlier in the day, leaving elphaba to peace and quiet for once. the green witch pinched the space between her eyes, sighing. “elphie pleaseee. i’m so tired. i’ve been on my feet for like five hours now.”
and who’s fault is that, she wanted to say, however, elphie couldn’t argue. as much as she wanted to, almost the whole student body was staring them down right now. and glinda couldn’t seem to care any less.
“fine,” elphaba breathed out, unsure if glinda even could heard it from there. either way, when she walked away from the rail of the balcony, she could hear glinda letting out a happy squeal.
when elphaba made it out of the dormitory and outside, glinda was still standing there with her arms crossed, surrounded by bags. she smiled brightly when she saw her elphie.
“elphie! hi, my sweet,” she wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed her cheek, making a mwah sound to accentuate it. elphaba’s cheeks warm up and she tried to suppress her smile. she still got shy when glinda publicly displayed affection towards her.
“i thought you were just picking up a single dress,” elphie said, concerned for the damage it probably did to glinda’s wallet and worrying about how they were going to make space for all of this.
“i was but then i met this really nice lady who showed me to her spring collection that had like so many pink dresses in it and then…”
“then you bought the whole store,” elphaba finished. glinda giggled and rolled her eyes. she had absolutely no self control when it comes to shopping. and so that’s why elphaba usually has to accompany her; because the one time she doesn’t, this happens.
“be a doll and help me bring these bags up.” glinda picked up one of the smaller ones that had, what elphaba assumed, to be accessories in one hand and carried her personal bag in the other.
just as expected, elphaba was left to carry all of the other ones full of clothing. glinda defended herself by making it up to elphaba later that night anytime she made her carry her bags. so really, elphaba couldn’t complain.
glinda walked in front of elphaba so she could open the doors for her. it was the least she could do. elphaba stood there panting right when she entered their dorm after having to walk up many flights of stairs with about five hundred pounds of clothing.
“you can leave them right by my bed,” glinda says with a smile, pointing towards her bed as if elphaba didn’t know where it was.
“sure thing, princess,” elphaba says breathlessly, words grinding through her gritted teeth as she drops all the bags down and collapses onto the pink bed.
“hey, don’t be mad at me. you obviously get a reward for your help,” glinda says cheekily, her eyebrows doing a dance which didn’t go unnoticed by elphaba. glinda walked towards her lover, standing between her legs.
“yeah? what is it,” elphaba’s slender fingers slitter around glinda’s waist, holding her tightly against her. for a moment, glinda’s brain got all foggy and she completely forgot what the reward was. she quickly snapped herself out of whatever fog she was in.
“you’re bad,” glinda corrected, pushing elphaba back on the bed by her shoulder blades. “your reward is a fashion show, silly.”
elphaba giggled, positioning herself back up. glinda was already walking away with a single one of her bags in hand. “stay there,” glinda yelled from the other side of the room, hiding behind a privacy shade as if elphaba hadn’t seen her naked a million times before. however, she took her fashion shows seriously. elphaba wasn’t allowed any sneak peaks.
elphaba sat there impatiently waiting for about seven minutes. she couldn’t possibly imagine why it would take her more than a minute or two to put a dress on, but it wasn’t anything new or unusual for her.
“okay ready?” glinda’s asks, dramatically loud. when she hears elphaba confirm her total readiness, she walks out to elphaba’s view. she slowly strutted in the empty space beside her bed, wobbling in her heels.
her dress was pink, to nobody’s surprise. it had some ruffles on the shoulders and the length didn’t fall past her knees. it had shimmer to it, elphaba noticed, assuming it were to be put with her going out dresses.
“like it?” glinda asked excitedly, showing off the flowy-ness of it by twirling around herself.
elphaba thought she was absolutely adorable; the way she showed herself off. presenting perfectly imperfect. elphaba loved watching the wobble in her step or the way her head bobbled from dizziness after she spun or how her hair fell in her face and tangled in her long dark lashes. she was so extremely imperfect and, to elphaba, that made glinda perfect for her. she loved every bit of it. she loved that she was the only one who could see it.
“i love it,” elphaba says enthusiastically, fighting the urge to grab glinda and push her on the bed and kiss her, “you’re so pretty, my sweet. so captivating you are.”
glinda stood there staring at elphaba, biting her lip while she took in the compliments. she couldn’t get distracted again. i mean, she is running this very important fashion show here.
“thank you,” glinda says, smiley and giddily. then she runs back off to, what she would call, backstage. “next one,” she says sing-song-ily.
this time, glinda take about five more minutes than last outfit change. elphaba imagines that she’s taking her sweet time hanging them up because oz forbid her clothes had a single wrinkle.
glinda finally walks prettily back out to her stage. this time, the aesthetic is completely different. she’s wearing a white skirt, slightly shorter than the dress yet nonetheless loose and moveable. her top is two different shades of pink, light pink and a slight darker pink that isn’t deep enough to be considered hot pink. it’s a thick-strapped tank top and has a flower on one of the shoulders.
“this one is for P.E,” glinda says, putting her hands on her hips and slightly lifting the shoulder with the flower, flashing a pretty smile.
“very pretty,” elphaba says again, but genuinely. out of her large vocabulary, she often became blank-minded around glinda, only finding pretty or beautiful as a way to describe her. but she was simply that. she was that, and glinda knew the rest. “don’t you hate P.E?”
“yes, that’s why i have to look good, elphie. or where’s the fun in it?”
elphaba shook her head and titled it down at her lap, giggling at her silly girlfriend. she then felt glinda’s presence infront of her. her head was tilted back up with two delicate fingers that wasn’t her own. “then, maybe i’ll take you up on that fencing lesson, miss elphaba.”
“you know you’re not gonna learn a thing if i’m teaching you,” elphaba smirked. because it was a cold hard fact. she’s tried. with history. with math. with literature. it was impossible for elphaba to tutor that girl because glinda quickly got bored of the work and distracted by elphaba features. they would only get a couple minutes in before their clothes were on the floor.
“yeah, well,” glinda said quietly, softly. she kissed elphaba’s lips so quickly that it made her ache for more, “maybe i won’t learn about fencing but that doesn’t mean i won’t learn a thing or two about anything.”
“glinda upland, go show me the rest of your clothes. you’re ridiculous.” elphaba sweetly kissed the girls collarbone, which was the closest in reach, and then playfully gave her a little shove towards the rest of the shopping bags.
glinda let out a laugh from deep within her belly, “says you!”
it didn’t take very long for glinda to come running back out. except she wasn’t in any new clothes, simply just a bra and panties. glinda wished she could’ve mentally screenshotted the surprised face elphaba made. it’s not like she hasn’t seen her like this before, she just simply wasn’t expecting it. especially since her heart nearly stops every time she gets to see glinda this way.
“where are you clothes?” elphaba asks concerningly, as if glinda had just…forgotten to put them on?
“i almost forgot, elphie, i bought us matching dresses. you have to come try it on!” glinda says, overzealously.
“oh you really didn’t have—” she couldn’t finish her sentence because she had a half-naked glinda grabbing her hand and pulling her up. she often times was shocked at how strong glinda tended to be. or maybe her body just naturally followed glinda whenever she was being dragged around by her. “glinda, seriously, i’m not wearing pink.”
“it’s not pink, silly,” glinda says, and once they are behind the privacy curtain, as if they need it, glinda drops her hand and starts digging through one the bags.
elphaba catches a glimpse of black fabric, which she’s certain that it isn’t for glinda herself. glinda grabs it, with an excited squeal, and hands it to her girlfriend. elphaba stands there, staring at it confusingly. she still found it strange to have someone gift her something. she didn’t receive much growing up. much her entire life at that.
“okay, turn around and put it on. i’ll put mine on. and then on the count of three we turn around. got it?” glinda says bossily, elphaba hums a simple mhm and turns her back to glinda. it was just that quick and she sometimes hated that she submitted to her so easily. how her compliance slipped out like butter as if it was sitting on her tongue and waiting to be spit out. because that’s simply not how she’s ever been. but a part of her felt attracted to the simplicity of being told what to do in a gentle manner.
elphaba started undressing and slipped on the new dress. it was not something she’d typically pick out for herself. her legs from her knees to ankles were exposed and it was even short-sleeved. she noticed quite quickly that there was a thick hemming at the bottom that was a bright pink. she felt…self conscious. and she also felt horrible for feeling that way because glinda thought of her.
“okay ready?”
“yes,” elphaba responded nervously. and she wondered if glinda could hear it in her voice.
“three, two, one,” instead of going at a normal speed, she said it quite hastily because she was eager to match with her lover, even more eager to see her in a dress that exposed more than she typically showed.
they both turned around. glinda’s was the exact same dress except vise-versa with the colors. it was a bright pink with black hemming. it made elphaba slightly more insecure because glinda looked so good in it and well…elphaba felt ugly. she didn’t have to see herself in the mirror to know that she didn’t look the way glinda did.
elphaba stood there with her arms crossed over her body, her head hung low. if she had been looking up and saw the adoration on glinda’s face, she might’ve not felt so insecure. but either way, glinda knew to verbally express exactly how she felt towards her girl.
“my sweeeeeet,” she says in a higher pitched voice than usual, “you look so beautiful.”
before elphaba gets the chance to lift her head back up, glinda’s already wrapping her in a hug. the girl is touchy, that’s for sure, but elphaba’s coming to realize that having someone who wants to touch her and doesn’t cringe at the thought makes her feel really good.
glinda kissed her soft green cheek, and elphaba can only imagine how she’s looks with a pink lipstick imprint on her green skin now. “i’m so amazing, i just knew you would look good in it.”
glinda pulled back, keeping her hands on elphaba’s waist. she looked her up and down again, and elphaba didn’t feel entirely uncomfortable with her eyes so intently on her as she expected she would.
“oh! come here look at how beautiful you look,” glinda hasn’t given elphaba the chance to speak just yet. it was unbeknownst to her that she was doing it so the attention was completely on elphaba and she herself wouldn’t receive a compliment for once. she knew she was pretty, and she knew what elphaba thought of her, but what was most important now was elphaba knowing how pretty she was.
glinda dragged her over to the vanity mirror. she had elphaba stand slightly in front of her so she was the main focus between the two. glinda kept her hands on elphaba’s shoulders. mainly so she couldn’t run off, but also because she constantly had to have her hands on her.
elphaba stared at herself in the mirror, staring at the way the green didn’t magically stop at her hands. how it went all the way up her arms. and how her legs matched it. she typically tried to cover as much as she could. because maybe wandering eyes could be fooled that she wasn’t entirely green.
“elphaba, look at how beautiful you are,” glinda whispers. her warm breath makes elphaba shudder and she can see that goosebumps are visible on her exposed arms.
“thank you,” she says quietly. she hadn’t found the strength to louden her voice. but for a moment, she believes glinda. maybe she doesn’t think she’s entirely beautiful, but the dress hadn’t made her ugly. she rather liked the way it perfectly hugged her body. and the pink hem reminded her of glinda. and frankly, she didn’t mind matching with her lover that much.
“oh elphie, look at us! we should wears these to class tomorrow!” she spun elphaba back around to face her, causing the girl to feel awfully dizzy for a moment.
and there is was again. the insecurity. the anxiousness. “oh i don’t know—”
“come on, elphie! you look so pretty. i want everyone to see it and know it if they don’t already.”
“glinda, I—” glinda could see her girlfriend still had yet to be compliant. she knew it was from a lack of self-assurance. she’s come to learn that elphaba didn’t have the confidence she presented herself with. she did care how people felt about her. more than anything, she cared.
“elphaba thropp, listen to me,” she says sternly. her hands are wrapped tightly, yet without hurting her, around her wrists to display her seriousness. “you are so beautiful. i wouldn’t tell you that if it wasn’t true. you know i can’t lie about beauty and fashion.” elphaba giggled at her, shaking her head. it was true! “if someone can’t see that then they must be blind or stupid.”
her big puppy dog eyes were hard to deny of anything. the way her lips pursed out, begging her. it was one time. one day…
“okay.”
“okay?!” glinda asks excitedly, trying to confirm what is quite difficult to believe.
“okay. we can wear them tomorrow.”
“elphie!!” she squealed, jumping around herself before kissing her lovers lips. elphaba stood there smiling at her. maybe being a little uncomfortable in herself for a day was worth making glinda this happy. “i love you. i love you!”
“i love you too, sweetness,” elphaba says, much calmer than glinda.
“okay, now i have to finish my fashion show! c’mon!”

I just know for sure that Glinda, GUH-LINDA, is a pillow princess. However, she's surprisingly a sweet girl, not so brat, ready to do anything you ask all just to make you happy and hear you say: "My good girl." Oh! She definitely melt, she's already naked, just waiting for you to take her (I LOVE ARI EYES SO MUCH, SHE'S A DOLL).
But in the other case, we have Elphaba, she's is quite the trouble, she's smart, know how to manipulate things to her will, so I can confirm that she loves getting on your nerves, the way her body burns after remembering how you manhandled her after she got too much cozy with Fiyero, or when she decided to challenge you and ended up sore for the rest of the week.
There's one thing for sure, those two would never let anything or anyone come between you guys. One time, a girl came all flirty, feeling you up, saying dirty stuff to you making you uncomfortable, but before you could do anything, both witches were already throwing the girl out and holding you like a precious gem, don't forget it silly, nobody can have you, they made sure that everyone knew that.
-🐢
PILLOW PRINCESS GUH-LINDA???!!! 😛😛 give it to me baby.
i think she sure isn’t a brat, will do what you say, but totally wants all the attention on her first, and it’s okay because she is the loveliest baby in the world and you and elphie are nothing but pleased to give her that. like oh, she just loves hands all over her body and gets all giggly, blinking those stupid eyes at both of you because neither can resist her. after you are done with her she lays there watching you and elphie with a satisfied smile, a little voyeur of her.
i kinda wanna fuck some sense into elphie now just for the funsies… and the way she would have a big smile on her face because yeah, she kind of did plan all of this ! her mind the whole time like “such a shame if a purposefully positioned myself on the line of vision of my girlfriend so she can get jealous and bothered oh no 😢” and you’re bending her over later, all mad and pent up and she’s so proud of herself. can’t stop thinking about voyeur glinda, that freak, so yes, i do think she has this sixth sense where she just know something is going on and finds it !! how dare her gfs fuck with her there to see it…
protective AND jealous girlfriends <3 we love to see it. they would so not leave you alone after that, girls really be thinking they’re your bodyguards or something 😭

Don't Look Away
First piece of my Fairy Glinda AU where Glinda is a fairy, there's Gelphie and nothing much else has changed.
This piece is entirely nonsexual but does contain elements of rose attraction.
- River
"Okay this what we're going to do. You're going to stand way back, and I'm going to...get ready, and come out and show you."
Elphaba blinks back at the pink screen that Glinda disappeared behind, confused by the sudden air of timdness that surrounds her usually cheery voice. Concern appears across her face, but she stills it and takes the requested steps back.
Anyone who knew Glinda Upland knew she was never timid. Neither was she unsure, worried, or even the slightest bit annoyed. No student at Shiz had the pleasure to see an "imperfect" emotion on her pointed features, well, no one except Elphaba herself.
Upon the day they first locked eyes, something inconceivable was set into motion.
Thropp had only read about the Fair Folk in books, pored over the pages detailing their lavish castles and parties. Imagined the wonderful time she would have in such places, second only to the time she planned to spend in the Emerald City. And there standing before her, was one of them. The Glamour was visually minimal, but she could tell its psychological effects had intoxicated those closest to the blonde. It didn't seem to affect her, however, which was a relief.
"Okay, have you moved back, Elphie?"
The tinkling chime of her voice comes again, stirring Elphaba from her recallations. She sounded subtly different, but she couldn't put a finger on it.
"I have."
Glinda adjusts her hair in the compact mirror one last time before stepping off it, looking towards the unenclosed area that lay beyond her protective screen.
On the day they met, Elphaba had looked stern, jaw tight, hands gripped tight together to her waist. Glinda had called out her usual greeting and extended a hand to be taken. Those green eyes had flashed as she turned, and all at once she looked. It wasn't any special type of look, not angry nor pleasant, but somehow it went straight through Glinda. Like a shaft of light cutting through deep fog and spotlighting on her soul.
When their hands touched she was stunned by the magic that seemed to cling to the emerald green skin, so present and yet so hidden behind a hardened exterior. Glinda's gaze had lingered on her that day.
No one had ever seen her before, she needed to feel it again. And she did, every day in the weeks leading up to this moment. Every glance, every glare, it all brought them closer than she'd ever been to anyone. The Glamour was protective, it kept people happy with her, enamoured with her every motion; it was also a prison. Keeping her from ever being able to be known for her true self.
And now, against all her better judgement, Glinda was going to let every wall she'd ever been instructed to make come down. And Elphaba was going to look at her, just like she had that very first day.
"Okay, I'm coming out now."
Elphaba was confused at first, instead of being hit with the usual assault of glitter, rhinestones, and pink, there is simply a blank space where Glinda should be. Her heart picks up a bit, concerned that something had gone extremely wrong, until she hears her same soft voice. Like dew on a morning rose.
"I'm, um, look down Elphie~"
She does as told, gaze landing on what looks to be a small porcelain doll resting on the floor. The petite figure is surrounded by a wonderful ballgown of crystallised bubbles, a pair of gossamer wings on its back. It's beautiful. She opens her mouth to speak, to ask Glinda what's going on, but the doll beats her to it.
"I...I have wanted to show you this for a long time. This is, well, this is me." The doll giggles and twirls around, then looks up towards her.
That's when it clicks. The doll isn't a doll, but the miniscule figure of Glinda standing there not 3 inches tall. Elphaba stands speechless, breathing steadily to try and hide the thumping in her chest. The rush of feelings blooming in her stomach like flutterbyes over a poppy field. What does she do now? Compliment her, draw her, ask her to turn back because it's all too overwhelming?
But in her usual Elphaba way, she keeps the emotions down, and opts to kneel. Surely at this size she must be intimidating, and she'd never want to do that to someone like Glinda.
"It's okay, I... you look wonderful."
The fairy releases a heavy sigh as Elphaba tilts her head and gives a gentle smile, the tension between them easing. She rises up, feather light on the breeze, closing the distance between them by half. She's now close enough for Elphaba to grab with an outstretched arm, something Glinda is keenly aware of. But the warmth of the now giant sorceress' aura beckons her; there is nothing to fear here.
"I know you know I'm Fae-"
"Well, it's pretty obvious."
Glinda plants her hands firmly on her hips at that comment, beginning to pace.
"I've known you knew since the very beginning. And because I know you knew I needed to keep an eye on you, and you couldn't know I knew you knew because then well, I don't know what would've happened. But I needed to be near you. And now, I don't know what's happening, but this-" She gestures to herself. "Feels right. You feel right."
Elphaba doesn't respond immediately, truth is she'd been enraptured in watching the now tiny Glinda walk like a perfect clockwork automaton. But now said automaton is looking at her again, with an expression she'd never seen before.
Tentatively, she scoots forward, watching closely so that she doesn't accidentally brush the fairy away. Now Glinda is close enough, she reaches a hand towards the glistening figure. There's a spark as her fingertips first touch the fairy's outfit, magic emanates from the fabric like a fizzy drink. She cups her hand around her, first finger grazing Glinda's shoulder as the rest hug snugly behind.
"Thank you for showing me who you are."
Green eyes seeming the size of moons gaze down at the fairy in her entirety. The pressure of Elphaba's palm around her is reassuring and strong, almost like the sorceress herself. Glinda feels the caramel smooth calm of home, like this is where she was supposed to be all this time. She lets her weight fully fall into Elphaba's grasp without another thought.
"I love you."

I Just Saw the Wicked 2019 Touring Cast and Boy Howdy, am I excited to Rant! (All Good things!)
There's a lot so buckle up your seatbealts!
So, first off, this was my first time seeing the show *cough cough* legally *cough* and I was amazed.
I instantly fell in love with the big metal dragon and nearly screamed when it moved and started blowing smoke out of its nose, as my Grandpa lied and told me, even though he's seen it 4 times, that the dragon was just decoration.
I love that the first solid 5 minutes of the show are just winged monkeys running around on the stage and looking concerned at one another before the opening number starts.
Glinda, played by Erin Mackey, was my WIFE.
During her first speaking part of "No one Mourns the Wicked," she got stuck on her big metal bubble and the ensemble had to crowd around her to help her get off, which, because coming off of the bubble was her cue to continue, led to a really long silence. But it kinda fit and showed that she hesitated to celebrate Elphaba's death so yeah! I just thought it was adorable and I admire how she was able to turn it into a cool window into her character!
When Elphaba, played by Mariand Torres, entered we all screamed for a solid 3 minutes and, after seeing her performance, she deserved a solid 8 more. I loved her so much!
I loved her early performance of Elphaba at Shiz because she played her as an angry little bean that snapped at everyone and everything instead of just shy and quiet and it worked so well, especially with how overprotective she was of Nyssa.
A girl literally faints upon seeing Elphaba and I can relate cause she was SO PRETTY!
Mariand's "Wizard and I" was so powerful and emotional at the same time I just wanted to pick her up and keep her! <3
THE 👏 GLINDA 👏 AND 👏 ELPHABA👏 HEIGHT👏 DIFFERENCE!
Usually you see Elphaba portrayed as tall while Glinda is shorter but, because Mariand was a tiny angel and Erin was a tall goddess who literally towered over Fierro without heels, it was quite the opposite and I l o v e d every second of "What is this Feeling" because of it.
I would die for tiny little ball of angry Elphaba and Tall, regal, princess Glinda holding her back from fighting everyone who dares look at them funny and you can pry them out of my cold dead hands.
Mariand did the thing where she mimicked Glinda for the "Your Voice" line and made it extra squeaky and I died.
She also, whenever Glinda had her back turned, copied her with a stupid little kicking dance and tossed her hair way too frantically and I fell in love.
For the "boo", Elphaba had to look directly up and jump at Glinda because she was so short and I squealed
Oh my God. C U R T. H A N S E N. This man was in Big Time Rush and I can not picture Fierro's entrance without the theme song ever again. (Bruh, Chill)
His choreo also had some "not-so-subtle" scarecrow like poses and taps.
Dude, he played him as such a snotty little twink and I loved it! He almost knocked down the statue in the center like eight times during "Dancing Through Life!"
His mic also made him sound like he was under water for a total of one (1) line and I snorted.
Nyssa, (sorry Mili Diaz, you were incredible and I love you,) Please exit my server.
Glinda made at least 16 Tik Tok references and I know, it's not towards the app because duh, but I'm still very conflicted.
Elphaba was S O mad at the scene with Dr. Dillamond I was so proud and in love!
E L P H A B A ' S D A N C E!
It was so good and pure and when Glinda joined she made it look so graceful!
And Elphaba looked very doubtful at first but then she looked around at everyone doing her dance and back at Glinda and she had the biggest smile on her face and tears in her eyes because she was accepted for something and it was beautiful!
Only Boc's mic was really working at this part so the "Let's DAAAANCE" reverberated deeply into my soul and stayed there for a really long time.
Popular was superb and I literally cried.
Literally.
When Erin got out of breath, she fell on the floor and just layed there for 16 counts breathing really heavily into the mic. Pure Poetry
Glinda suffocated Elphaba with hugs to her throat and swung her around like a rag doll while she just glared angry and helpless.
During "Don't Make me laugh" Glinda pushed her hand into Elphaba's face and gently and slowly set her back on her bed and if that ain't the biggest mood.
So many kicks and giggles I LOVE ERIN MACKEY!
When Glinda fell into Elphaba's arms crying after Fierro ran away at the train scene she took up half of her body and I just needed to write that out.
The egg-like Emerald City suits without arms that extended their necks and twirled them like lassos. Need I say more?
Elphaba's teary smile at "Finally, no one's looking or staring at me!" And then Glinda takes off her glasses and grabs her hand saying that she looked as beautiful as an emerald and... A C K
Upon meeting the scary robo wizard, Glinda got scared and tried to hide her 5'9 body behind little 5'1 Elphie and she looked so protective and ready to throw down I loved it!
Monkeys. Monkeys. Monkeys.
"Let her go! It's not her that you want! Its ME!" She sounded so powerful and angry I would die for her.
The part where Elphaba's begging Glinda to go with her but she's too focused on the fact that she's shaking and ties that spooky cape around her shoulders.
Mariand's "Defying Gravity" was so strong and beautiful with all of her God-tier belts and riffs I could not stop smiling and when she finally flies I yelped because you always hear about how cool it is and looks but then you really S E E it and it's beyond words! I had to do nothing and breathe for a second afterwards to find my bearings!
I loved Erin's "Thank Goodness" a lot. She poured a lot of emotion and beautiful vocals into it and just... god, she's gorgeous!
At the part where Elphaba appeared in the closet in Nyssa's office and the mirror became see through I heard a kid behind me exclaim "Zoo Wee Mama" and I won't be the same.
I don't remember Nyssa being so horrible but... *shrug* She gets it from her Dad I guess.
I love that Boc's reaction to finding out Nyssa can walk is just, "oh, good! Now you can work on this whole walking thing and get tf away from me! This worked out perfectly!" Same, boi.
I loved! LOVED! Nyssa Rose's song with a passion and the way her words get all twisted and angry literally talking about how she's going to rip Boc's heart out for leaving her and it gave me a good amount of spooks.
"Don't say I'm beautiful. You don't need to lie to me." B A B Y
"My Family has a Castle! No one lives there or will see us besides the guards!" "Where do you live, now?" "... The other castle." Oh sweetie.
Glinda, you deserve so much more than scarecrow boy and I would die for you!
Elphaba's voice drops at least 8 octaves during her line in "As long as Your Mine" The "For the first time I feel...
Wicked
I have never been more physically and emotionally attracted to a green lady Other than Princess Fiona
Also, there was so much smoke during that song that I could hear some Orchestra members cough.
During that scene with Elphaba's and Glinda's argument at Nyssa's "Funeral", while preparing to fight Glinda twirls her wand and strikes at Elphie like she came out of the Karate Kid.
Elphaba's witch laugh after Glinda slaps her followed by the most serious "Feel Better?"
Both Fierro and Glinda yell at Elphaba to leave before she gets hurt and I feel things because of that.
While Fierro is fake/real threatening Glinda with a gun, she just tearfully shakes her head in a silent plea and he INSTANTLY drops his gun. I love 'em
The way Glinda's "Fierro" melts into Elphaba's "FIERRROOO!" Love.
"No Good Deed" will always be my favorite song. ITS SO GOOD! Mariand's voice was incredible and her riffs and belts added so much!
During Elphaba's little "let all of OZ be agreed I'm wicked through and through," she makes her voice all scary and raspy, but it melts back into her own voice and beautiful despair at "since I can not succeed, Fierro saving you!"
NO GOOD DEED! 10/10 LOTSA SMOKE
March of the Witch hunters always has and will give me chills. Nothing more to say. Just one good bop.
This is the part where I cry too much.
"For Good" was gorgeous and I cried. A lot. A lot.
Elphaba kisses Glinda's hands and wipes her tears away.
Glinda runs her hands across and straightens Elphaba's hat and OH MY GOD!
It hurts how frantically Elphaba hides Glinda to protect her! Side note, I would also die for Chistery.
At their final moments together, Elphaba blows Glinda a kiss and then proceeds to get "murdered" in a really cool way by Dorthy.
Glinda's "Elphie!?" Is so tragic and panicked I was struggling to make it through, and then she grabbed her hat and cried into it and I was long gone.
Fierro adopts spooky Scarecrow movements at the end which I think is really cool and he also mimics Elphaba's "Don't lie to me!" Line.
Before Elphaba leaves, she becomes entranced by Glinda's beautiful singing, like she's thinking of telling her she's okay, but then she turns around and walks through the door with Fierro.
The last thing we see of Elphaba is her wearing her signature hat and walking into dust with Fierro. The last thing we see of Glinda is her sobbing into Elphaba's book in her bubble.
In conclusion, IM NOT OKAY!
Nah, Fam! But seriously! Mariand and Erin's vocals and performances were to die for! It succeeded my wildest expectations! I had so much fun and would 100% recommend seeing the show if you haven't seen it or want to see it a 19th time. Both are just as valid. :)

HI RACHEL IF YOU WANT TO DO MORE HEADCANONS I JUST THOUGHT ABOUT THE GREENDALE 7 + MEMES OR THE GREENDALE 7 + MUSICALS AND I THINK THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
UMMMM MUSICALS AND MEMES ARE MY SHIT LET’S DO THIS
MUSICALS
Annie’s favorite musical is Wicked. Someone introduced her to it while she was in rehab, and she relates to Elphie a lot, which helped her cope
Shirley also loves Wicked, but her favorite is Glinda. She and Annie sing their duets together
Troy and Abed are into comedy musicals along the lines of Avenue Q, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and the Book of Mormon
Shirley was on the fence with Putnam until My Unfortunate Erection. She still doesn’t know about the Jesus part. No one’s brave (or stupid) enough to mention it in front of her
Britta hates most musicals because they send bad messages to the audience, usually about a woman choosing a man who’s bad for her. She particularly hates Phantom of the Opera because of this (or so she claims, several members of the group have seen her dramatically pretending to play the organ while listening to the overture)
Annie and Shirley do manage to get her onboard with Wicked because “it’s more about two women and their powerful friendship than romance”
Britta loves Spring Awakening. There’s literally a song called “The Bitch of Living” and if that’s not the most Britta thing, then idk what is
She also unironically loves Cats
Troy and Abed ironically love Cats
Everyone else hates Cats
Jeff didn’t really like musicals, but Annie got him into them. His favorite is Guys and Dolls (which has nothing to do with the fact that Annie reminds him of Sarah and he relates to Sky, Shirley!). He hated Phantom of the Opera for a while for the same reason. He saw himself as the Phantom and Annie as Christine (because the Phantom was a creepy older man who preyed on an innocent girl) before he dealt with his feelings about their age difference. Now, he’s not super in love with it, but he’ll still watch it with her
Pierce loves Carousel. Britta goes on a rant for an hour about why it sucks, and for once people actually agree with her because “Carousel blows, unless you’re watching it to make fun of it”
The Dean loves every musical ever made that he can base a costume or pun on
Jeff surprises Annie by learning the male parts to her favorite duets and sings them with her. He also hums the more romantic ones to her while they’re lying down together
Jeff finds out that despite loving Wicked, Annie has never actually seen it live. He surprises her with a trip to New York to see it for an anniversary
Chang loves Sweeney Todd. He just wishes there was less singing and more murder. “Chang, you know that’s the basic premise of a musical right?” “Shut up, Frankie. More murder makes everything better.” “You need professional help.”
Frankie doesn’t get or care about musicals at all
One time, Troy and Abed were listening to Hasa Diga Eebowai from the Book of Mormon, and Shirley came in and had a conniption
Britta hates Hamilton, Annie really only cares about the Schuyler Sisters, Jeff and Pierce hate it, and Troy, the Dean, and Abed are the ones who become known as “the Hamilton dudes”
Troy and Abed introduced everyone to Starkid. Everyone loves them (even Pierce who doesn’t understand most of the jokes and references) Annie’s favorite is Twisted, Troy and Abed love Holy Musical B@man, Britta likes Firebringer, Jeff and Pierce like Me and My Dick, and Shirley likes A Very Potter Musical
MEMES
Troy and Abed are the meme kings. They make Greendale specific memes, and everyone loves them
They try to keep Pierce from finding out memes for as long as possible. Whenever a new one shows up, they try to avoid mentioning it in front of Pierce because he overuses them and runs them into the ground. To this day, if someone even mentions Pepe the Frog, they’ll get at least five dirty looks and possibly something thrown at them
The human being is a meme all on its own, but there are so many other Greendale specific memes about it too
Britta refuses to use memes because “they’re just a way to distract ourselves from the horrors of the real world. We need to pay attention to people in need, not memes!”
No one ever needs to know about the giant folder of cat memes Britta has on her phone
Whenever Britta gets on an anti-meme tirade, Troy and Abed only reply with either “You mad, bro?” or “oh, shit waddup?”
Britta thinks those are both legit questions, and Troy and Abed say that if anyone tells her that they’re responding with memes, they’ll give Pierce every meme they have
Jeff has a select few he likes, but he’d never admit it because it would make him seem “uncool”
Annie likes a lot of the ones Troy and Abed show her, but she doesn’t go look for them herself. Sometimes, if she comes across one, she’ll send it to Troy and Abed
Shirley doesn’t get them. Except the minion memes. She loves those. No one has the heart (or the courage) to tell her that those are associated with uncool, white, suburban moms
Frankie hates every single meme. She thinks they’re stupid. Britta’s finally happy someone agrees with her until Frankie tells her that her that her reason for not liking them makes no sense
#thanks for this ask#i love both of these prompts#alsoi really fucking hate carousel guys#community#headcanons#musicals#memes#greetings from greendale#loosey-goosey
