Could you write a Rafe x reader fic where reader says she wants to spend more time with Rafe, but he gets upsets and says something mean in the heat of the moment. Reader is upset and stops "bothering" him and initially Rafe doesn't realise it, but he figures out you're ignoring him
Maybe with a fluffy HEA ending, but if you want to keep it angsty I'm also all for it (:
hope you like it! âïž it was a quiet friday night when you finally found the courage to bring it up. things with rafe hadnât been the same for a while. he was always out with friends or buried in work, his phone practically glued to his hand. you could see him drifting further and further away, and it left you feeling like an afterthought. you missed him, missed the little moments when heâd look at you like you were the only person in the world.
so, you decided to say somethingâsoftly, carefullyâas the two of you sat on the couch with takeout boxes scattered around you.
âheyâŠbaby,â you started, keeping your voice light. âi was thinking⊠itâd be nice if we could spend a little more time together, you know? just us.â
rafe barely looked up, shoveling food into his mouth. âwhatâre you talking about?â he mumbled through a bite. âweâre together now, arenât we?â
you forced a smile. âyeah, but⊠i mean like actually spending time together. like doing something fun. or even just⊠talking.â
he let out an irritated sigh, setting his food down with a clatter. âare you serious right now? iâve got so much shit to deal with, and youâre really gonna start whining about âspending time togetherâ? Jesus, can you just not be so goddamn needy for once?â
the words hit you like a punch. you froze, staring at him, trying to process the fact that heâd actually said that. rafeâs face was already turned away, clearly oblivious to the way his words had cut through you.
you felt your throat tighten, but you managed to swallow back the hurt, forcing yourself not to react. the last thing you wanted was to give him more reason to see you as a burden. so, you nodded, blinking down at your food, even though you suddenly couldnât eat a bite.
âsorry,â you whispered, more to yourself than to him. but rafe didnât hear, or maybe he just didnât care enough to ask you to repeat it. heâd already gone back to his phone, acting like the conversation had never even happened.
that night, you made a decision. if rafe wanted space, youâd give him space. you stopped asking him to go out with you, to spend time together, to do any of the little things you used to enjoy. when he came home late, you didnât wait up. when he sat down on the couch, you found something else to do. if he wanted room, youâd make sure he had more than enough of it.
at first, rafe didnât seem to notice the change. he thought you were just busy with work or hanging out with friends, maybe that youâd taken his words to heart. it wasnât until a few days had passed that he started to feel the shift, the strange, nagging quiet in the air whenever you were around.
you were no longer the warm, lively presence you used to be, filling the silence with laughter, stories, and little gestures of affection. instead, you felt distant, almost guarded, your movements careful, like you were tiptoeing around him. you didnât smile at him the way you used to; you didnât light up when he came home. youâd become polite, restrained, keeping just enough distance that he felt it even when he didnât want to.
one night, rafe came home late, expecting to see you in the living room with a book or a show. but the lights were dim, the place eerily silent, and when he checked the bedroom, you were already asleep. he stood there for a moment, feeling an odd pang of emptiness. he brushed it off, but as the days went by, the feeling gnawed at him more and more, leaving him with an ache he couldnât ignore.
finally, he couldnât take it anymore. one night, he found you alone in the kitchen, stirring a cup of tea with your gaze far away. he leaned against the counter, crossing his arms as he watched you, his expression unreadable.
âare you avoiding me or something?â he asked, his tone sharper than heâd intended.
you looked up, a flicker of surprise in your eyes before you masked it with a tight smile. âno, iâm not avoiding you, rafe. i just⊠didnât want to bother you.â
that wordâbotherâhit him hard, dredging up the memory of his own callous words. he felt something twist in his chest as he realized what heâd done, how his careless anger had made you feel so small, like you didnât even deserve to be there.
âfuck,â he muttered, raking a hand through his hair. âlook, iâm sorry, alright? i was a complete asshole, princess. i was stressed, and i took it out on you, and i shouldnât have done that.â
you shrugged, your face guarded, unreadable. âitâs fine. i get it. youâre busy, and i didnât want to get in your way.â
âJesus, stop saying that,â he mumbled, stepping closer, his voice softer now, almost pleading. âyouâre not in my way. youâre the only person who⊠who makes all this shit bearable. i just didnât see it until you started pulling away.â
for a long moment, you said nothing, just staring at him, weighing his words. finally, he took a tentative step forward, reaching for your hand. when you didnât pull away, he felt a flicker of hope.
âlet me make it up to you,â he whispered, his voice rough. âiâll cancel my plans this weekend. weâll do whatever you want, i swear. just⊠give me another chance.â
your gaze softened, and a small, hesitant smile crept onto your lips. âalright. one chance.â
he pulled you into his arms, wrapping you up in a tight embrace, his relief flooding through him. you relaxed into him, and for the first time in days, you felt the warmth return, that aching void in your chest slowly filling up again.
âiâm sorry, baby,â he murmured, his voice low, genuine. âi swear, iâll never take you for granted again. you mean too fucking much to me.â
you let your head rest on his shoulder, feeling his heartbeat steady beneath you, his arms strong and comforting. and as he held you there, you felt the hurt start to fade, replaced by a quiet, growing hope that maybe, just maybe, things would be different this time.

study buddy
solstrÄle engen ft. @wileys-russo 's fresa! sol struggles with school, and facing the threat of having to repeat the year, ingrid and mapi try to get her some study help. it doesn't go... exceptionally well.
â
It was more frustrating than anything. For years, you hadnât really given school much thought, or put in very much effort. And then, suddenly, youâd been shipped off to Spain and everything was different. Everything changed again six months later, and suddenly, school felt like something that held a lot more weight.
You didnât have many opportunities to make Ingrid and Mapi proud of you. Sure, theyâd say they were proud of you when you asked for help while having a panic attack, or for setting some sort of boundary. That just didnât feel⊠right. It didnât feel like it was enough. They were bending over backwards, every day, to make you feel known and seen and loved, and the least you could do was show that they were helping you, right?
So, very suddenly, school was important. Grades were important. It seemed, though, that the years of not caring and not paying attention had taken their toll. Because you studied, and you actually tried but it wasnât enough. Your grades were still⊠mediocre. Nothing to brag about.Â
You worked harder, to no avail. You tried different methods of studying, you devoted hours and hours to your schoolwork, and⊠no improvement. So much of your work felt like it went way over your head.Â
You had promised yourself you wouldnât be upset when you handed Ingrid the test youâd gotten back. She had a busy week and she really didnât need you breaking down over a stupid test, like you had earlier in the school bathroom. Your plan was to bypass your sister and her girlfriend, head straight to your room, and maybe slam the door. If you acted angry, they were more likely to give you space to calm down, which meant there was much less of a chance youâd get all pathetic and upset. Â
Only, youâd forgotten that Ingrid had known you were getting the test back today, having seen you study and study and study for it. Your sister was sure that since you studied so much, it must be a good grade, and she had a magnet all ready to attach your exam to the fridge.Â
The minute you walked into the house and saw her waiting in the kitchen, freshly showered from training, an expectant and excited look on her face, you shrunk in on yourself, very suddenly wanting a hug more than you wanted to cry silently into your pillow all alone.
âHowâd you do?!â Ingrid asked excitedly, her smile only faltering when your lip began to wobble. âSolstrĂ„le?â
âIâm sorry.â You choked out tugging the collar of your shirt up over your eyes before she could see you begin to cry. Ingridâs arms were wrapping around you only a moment later, holding you tight against her as she floundered, confused as to what had upset you.
âHey, itâs okay. Whatever happened, itâs alright. Iâve got you.â Ingrid promised, making eye contact over your head with Mapi, who had wandered into the kitchen and caught sight of you trembling against your sister.Â
Ingrid thought something must have happened at school, and Mapi quickly came to the same conclusion. The thought that youâd done poorly on your test, and this was the reason behind your distress, never even crossed her mind. Ingrid had never known you to care much about your grades, and while you were trying harder now, she didnât think something like a bad result could get you this upset.Â
âIâm really sorry. I tried my best.â You whimpered, briefly wondering when youâd turned into this person who cried at the drop of a hat and allowed her sister to hug you whenever you were upset. It was so different. Everything was so different.Â
âWhat are you sorry for?â She asked, heart melting a bit as Mapi walked closer and pressed a kiss to the top of your head, before perching on the counter. âTell me, Sol, tell me whatâs wrong.âÂ
Wordlessly, you withdrew from the comforting embrace of your sister and swung your bag off your shoulder. You unzipped it, pulling out the exam from the red folder Ingrid had neatly labeled for you. You handed it to her, eyes brimming with tears again at the sight of all the red marks all over the first page.Â
Ingridâs first instinct was to sigh, but youâd been with her long enough for her to know youâd just shut down. Not to mention that she knew how much work youâd been putting into this specific exam. Prepared to ask you what had gone wrong, she looked up to see that the tears had stopped. There wasnât a hint of emotion on your face, like you were preparing yourself to be yelled at. Ingrid had no such plans.
âOh, Sol. KjĂŠre, come here.â She said instead, pulling you back into her. There was some hesitation on your part, but after a second you melted into the hug, knowing that if Ingrid was upset, she would have told you so by now. âYou studied so hard, Iâm sorry it didnât go well.âÂ
âIâm sorry.â You said again, frowning when Ingrid pulled back and placed both her hands on your face, tilting your head up to look at her.Â
âYou have nothing to be sorry for. You tried your best, thatâs all I want from you.â
You shook your head, but didnât say anything, instead opting to stare at your shoes. You hadnât taken them off at the door, breaking one of Ingrid and Mapiâs rules. This additional mistake, regardless of how small it was, made you feel even worse. You couldnât do anything right.Â
A tattooed hand grabbed yours, and you looked up at Mapi. She had moved closer, holding the exam in one hand, her other gripping yours.Â
âThis is a passing grade, mi sol. Why are you so upset? Itâs not like you to get so worked up over school.â Your face flushed, but before you could step away, Mapiâs grip tightened, as if sheâd sensed you were about to run. âCome on, itâs us. You can tell us.âÂ
âI.. Itâs not good enough.â You stammered, looking between your sister and her girlfriend with genuine despair written all across your face. âI wanted to do well. For both of you., I wanted you to be proud of me.âÂ
âOh, Sol,â Ingrid sighed, exchanging a look with Mapi that only served to make you feel even more foolish. It had taken so much for you to admit why you were working so hard, and though you knew, logically, that Ingrid wasnât trying to make you feel dumb, she had.Â
You wrenched away from her, suddenly deciding that you didn't need her pity. Backing up until you hit the wall on the opposite side of the kitchen, you began to ramble. Unable to look either Ingrid or Mapi in the eye, you missed the sadness on their faces. âNo, forget it. Itâs fine. Itâs really fine. Itâs not a big deal, Itâs my own fault, Iâm too stupid to learn stuff my classmates already know-â
âHey!â Mapi cut in, sounding uncharacteristically stern. âYou are not stupid. Donât ever say that again.âÂ
You froze, staring at her with your mouth agape. Ingrid took a cautious step closer, aware she was toeing a thin line between you breaking down again, and pushing you into anger.Â
âYou arenât stupid.â Ingrid echoed. âYouâre not stupid, and you know you arenât. Itâs just one exam, Sol, it doesnât make or break anything.âÂ
At this, you averted your eyes, a blush creeping up your neck. This exam could be a determining factor in your educational career. Ingrid just didnât really know that information yet. Like a bloodhound, though, Ingrid caught the scent of your secret, her eyebrows raising as she stared at you.Â
âIt doesnât make or break anything, right?âÂ
It was a staring contest for a few moments, one you and Ingrid both knew she would win, yet you kept it going all the same. The silence became too intense, the gazes of your sister and her girlfriend breaking your resolve rather quickly. With a heavy sigh, you reached for your bag yet again and pulled out a slightly wrinkled envelope.Â
Ingrid held her hand out expectantly, apprehension clear on her face. You handed her the envelope, eyes still training on the floor.Â
âSolstrĂ„le. This is addressed to me.â Ingrid huffed, removing the letter from inside and beginning to read it. Mapi moved forward, peeking over her girlfriendâs shoulder, eyes quickly scanning over the letter. You braced yourself, prepared for the worst.Â
The last time youâd brought home something like this⊠youâd ended up living in Spain. Which was potentially the best thing that could have happened, but you had a feeling the consequences of this letter wouldnât work out as well.Â
Your sister placed the paper down on the counter, raking her fingers through her hair as she thought for a moment. She wasnât quite sure what to say. Part of her wanted to yell, but when was that ever the right choice? Before she could decide, MarĂaâs shoulder bumped into hers. Her girlfriend nodded in your direction, clearly trying to get Ingrid to see how terrified you were.Â
And Ingrid couldnât yell at you when you were like this, all sad and scared with your head bowed and your arms folded across your chest protectively.Â
âSol?â She said, her tone much quieter and kinder than you were expecting it to be. You looked up at her, shocked further to see that she didnât look very angry. âWhy didnât you give this to me last week when they sent it?âÂ
Ingrid nodded towards the date on the letter, and you exhaled shakily. âI⊠I was hoping I could just try really hard for the rest of the year and do really well in all my classes and it would be fine.âÂ
Your sister nodded slowly, reading the letter over again.Â
Mapi took the opportunity to chime in, her hand absentmindedly resting on your sisterâs back, even as she fixed her warm gaze on you. âNena, that is a lot for you to carry all by yourself. Having the threat of maybe needing to repeat the year hanging over your head⊠you should have told us.âÂ
You shrugged, blinking away the moisture pooling in your eyes at Mapiâs tone. âI didnât want to disappoint you guys.â You mumbled.Â
âYou havenât disappointed anyone!â Mapi exclaimed, frowning when you just scoffed in response. âIâm serious, Sol. We saw you study and study for this exam. You did your best, youâre doing your best. Thatâs all we can ask from you.âÂ
âMy best isnât good enough! Iâm going to fail and have to repeat the year.â You cried, throwing your hands up in the air in exasperation. The mere thought of another year of school was horrifying.Â
Ingrid finally put the letter down, a blazingly determined expression on her face. âNo. Youâre not going to fail anything. Weâll help you, weâll reach out to your teachers, weâll get you extra help. Weâll figure it out, Sol, but youâre not going to fail. Not if I have anything to say about it.âÂ
For anyone else, that may have sounded overbearing. For you, though, it just felt supportive. It felt like you werenât dealing with this yourself anymore, and that was a relief you didnât know you needed.Â
âOkay.â You said quietly. âThanks.âÂ
Luckily, your sister knew you well enough to understand that after such an intense conversation, youâd need some time to yourself to process.Â
âHey,â Ingrid said, catching your wrist and turning you around slightly before you could leave the room. âIâm already proud of you, and the person you are. You could fail every test for the rest of your life, and Iâd still be proud of you. Okay?â
You blinked at her for a prolonged second, before you nodded jerkily. Turning to head up the stairs to your room, you changed your mind, spinning back around and falling into your sister. She hugged you tight, as she always did, and you wondered briefly how you got so lucky.Â
â
It was the following day that Mapi and Ingrid proposed their plan. Before theyâd even said anything, you knew a few things.Â
One, that they were excited about whatever plan theyâd cooked up that day at training.Â
And two, that you werenât really going to have a choice in the matter.Â
As a general rule, Ingrid and Mapi didnât make you do many things. If they thought something was important, theyâd encourage you to try it a few times, and then theyâd let you stop if you still didnât like it. That was how it had been for the schoolâs climbing club, the schoolâs hiking club, and the schoolâs baking club. All those were activities you enjoyed, but⊠activities you enjoyed doing yourself.
Well, not always. You loved to climb and hike with Ingrid. Frido, too, sometimes. And you could bake for hours with Mapi helping, measuring out ingredients and getting baking flour everywhere. But doing any of the above with strangers who spoke in rapid, fluent Spanish or catalan, was not fun. It was anxiety inducing.Â
You knew this was about to be another one of those ideas, the ones you had to give a fair shot.Â
It was at dinner, and you were trying to hide the wince everytime you picked up your water glass with your right hand, your wrist intensely aching after the time you spent in the climbing gym after school. It always hurt when you climbed for too long, though it was getting worse with every passing day. Another problem for another day, you decided, seeing the barely contained glee on Mapiâs face as she cleared her throat.Â
âWhat?â You said suspiciously, putting your fork down and narrowing your eyes at the Spaniard.Â
Mapi opened her mouth to speak, but before she could, Ingrid chimed in.Â
âMapiâs made you a playdate!â She said, smirking when her girlfriend wacked her in the arm.Â
âIngrid, that is not going to help me convince her.â Mapi huffed, sitting back in her chair and crossing her arms over her chest.Â
Still unamused, you continued to frown at Mapi. âIâd love it if you didnât keep proposing ideas that youâd need to convince me of. Teaching you how to rock climb, trying to get that stain out of my favorite sweatshirt yourself, being the keeper while you practiced your free kicks, helping you build that bonfireââ
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â Mapi dismissed.Â
âYou got stuck on the rock wall, my sweatshirt has a hole in it, the ball hit me so hard in the stomach I threw up, and both of us lost part of our eyebrows!âÂ
Mapi glared at you, while Ingrid hid her face behind her hand as her body shook with silent laughter.Â
âWell this plan,â Mapi sighed, âis Ingrid AND Alexia approved.âÂ
That wiped the smile off your face.Â
âAlexia? What does she have to do with this?âÂ
There were a few things you knew for certain about Mapi. One, she didnât give up easily. Another, that she wanted more than anything for you to be friends with Alexiaâs little sister. And from the sly smile on her face, you were almost sure you knew where this was headed.Â
âI asked her to ask Fresa to tutor you!â
âNo.â You said immediately.Â
Mapi continued like you hadnât spoken. âFresa is a bit younger than you, but already finished your year! Sheâs studying to be a nurse, sheâs very smart. Fres speaks English and she can help you with your Spanish and any other school things you need help with.âÂ
âNo.â You repeated, looking helplessly at your sister. Ingrid looked to finally be taking the situation seriously, a familiar look on her face; one you knew meant that no matter how much you argued, she was going to get her way. Meanwhile, Mapi was still droning on.Â
ââget along great with her! I think you guys have a lot in common, and it could be fun and educational!âÂ
âAnd you know all the best things are fun and educational.â Ingrid chimed in cheerily, this time her face telling you to go along with Mapiâs idea because she was excited about it, or else.Â
âEducational.â You said sarcastically. âSuper!âÂ
Still, you agreed, Mapi grinned at you, and Ingrid patted your back reassuringly. Mapi had a lot of bad ideas. You were pretty sure this would turn out to be the worst.Â
â
You always spent more time at the climbing gym when things were rough. Back in Norway, youâd spend multiple hours a day, everyday, there. It was one of your tells; Ingrid always knew something was bothering you if you went to climb right after school. It was your way of shoving your emotions down before you could feel them, before your sister could read the hurt on your face and give you one of those tight hugs that brought tears to your eyes.Â
Only, sometimes climbing didnât do it. Sometimes, it felt like the walls were closing in, like you were about to suffocate, if you didnât have some time completely by yourself to think. On those days, you really preferred to hike. You hadnât felt that urge in a while; the urge to just disappear for hours, walk until your legs felt like they were going to fall up, and sit at the top of the trail until the world felt like a place you wanted to be in again. The last time had been back in Norway, after a day you didnât even want to think about.Â
Yet you found yourself in that same familiar mindset after your first study session with Fresa.Â
It hadnât gone well. You tried to go into it confident, sure that if you acted chill enough, sheâd maybe miss that you had no idea what you were doing with your schoolwork.Â
Confident, even as you arrived 15 minutes late. Scout had gotten his favorite toy, a small tiger that squeaked, stuck under the sofa, and it had taken you time you didnât have to get it out for him. You could have left it, but Ingrid and Mapi werenât home and you knew Scout would just sit by the couch and cry the whole time you were gone if you didnât get his tiger out for him, and you couldnât bear the thought of leaving him to be so upset. And then youâd had a hard time finding a parking space at the library, and the directions inside were all in Spanish and Fresa had texted you to follow the signs to the study rooms but you misread the sign and went to the opposite end of the library before figuring out your mistake. And you would have texted you were going to be late, because you hated being late, but your phone was dead and the cord from your car had gone missing.Â
When you entered the room, Fresa already looked annoyed.Â
Annoyed, with her hair pulled back into a ponytail, twirling a pen repeatedly in an almost unconscious manner. She looked very⊠put together.Â
âLlegas tarde.â She commented, rolling her eyes when you didnât reply. Your face flushed a bit as she must have picked up on your confusion, repeating herself in english. âYou are late.âÂ
Any other time, you would have known what she said. Your issue wasnât really understanding Spanish, it was more speaking and reading it. You felt weirdly flustered though today, like your brain was distracted and not quite able to follow what the other girl was saying. Anxious, too, at this social situation youâd been forced into.Â
Briefly, you thought about explaining about Scout and the tiger and the parking space and the signs being in Spanish, but then you realized Fresa wouldnât care about any of that. So instead, you just nodded and apologized, feeling your heart start to pound from the anxiety of the situation.Â
You didnât like talking to new people. Especially pretty new people who spoke a different language and were looking at you like you werenât very smart. Even if you thought that yourself⊠you didnât want anyone else to think so. Any intention of actually asking Fresa for help with the mountains of stuff you were confused with went out the window, then, and you almost subconsciously decided to just⊠try to get through without letting her know quite how lost you were.Â
Fresa was alarmingly smart. She kept asking you questions about your work, about what you needed help with. Everything didnât feel like an answer you wanted to give. Fresa seemed organized, though, and you assumed letting her take the lead and decide what to work on would placate her. Instead, she just looked more and more annoyed with every passing second.
She kept asking questions about this paper and that paper and you didnât know what papers she was talking about. You felt so stupid. More stupid than when youâd failed your test last week.Â
âHow do you even find the right paper in there?â Fresa asked, pulling a judgemental look as you rifled through your bag, searching for the article she was asking for.
Your bag was a mess, you knew it was a mess. Youâd knocked your coffee over all your folders a few days ago, sitting at the counter when Scout barked and startled you. That was oddly upsetting in and of itself because Ingrid had gotten you the folders and labeled them for you and you felt like youâd destroyed something nice sheâd done for you. You hadnât told her, not wanting to hurt her feelings or anything, so now your school papers were living crinkled and disorganized in your bag.
And you were pretty sure the article Fresa was asking for had been a casualty of the coffee incident, because youâd scanned the paper and thought it wasnât important before throwing it out. The Spanish had confused you, and you hadnât realized youâd need the article for an assignment. Stupid.Â
You were feeling more and more embarrassed as the minutes passed. And, maybe, your reaction to feeling embarrassed was always anger. You pulled out a random piece of paper, slamming it down onto the table with more force than necessary in your haste to give the Spaniard something.Â
Fresa instantly knew that what youâd given her wasnât the right article, asking again if you had it as you shoved the other paper back into your bag.Â
Logically, you knew you should just⊠admit you threw it away because you didnât realize you needed it. For some reason, you just couldnât get the words out of your mouth. You couldnât get any words out of your mouth, feeling shockingly like crying. Nothing was going right and you were making yourself look like an idiot and all you could do was shrug as Fresa looked at you and took a deep breath.Â
Then, she seemed to come to some kind of realization, her expression softening slightly.Â
âCan you not read this? The spanish?âÂ
You flinched, feeling your face flush. Again, the reply of âno I canât, would you please help me?â seemed to evade you. Instead, you spewed some lie about being able to read the article, calling Fresaâs questions stupid and telling her she was wasting your time.Â
Fresa seemed to have reached her breaking point, her voice rising as yours had. You didnât really hear what she said, much too distracted by the way her eyebrows knitted together when she was frustrated, and the way her hand tightly gripped the pen she was holding.Â
Then, she made an offensive impression of your shrugging. And if you hadnât been angry before, you were absolutely fuming now.Â
So what if you were quiet? It wasnât like you really needed to talk much, considering how many questions sheâd asked. You were furious at being called out for all your bullshit, feeling like a mess compared to the perfect girl next to you. A very angry mess whoâd had a long day and was cursing one MarĂa LeĂłn for making her do this and cursing the beautiful girl next to her for being so infuriating. Â
âAlexiaâs super little sister. Everyone says you are so smart. Can you not see I do not want your help? You want to be a doctor, no? So go find someone who does.âÂ
Fresaâs nostrils flared as she shoved her chair away from the table and got to her feet. She began angrily putting her stuff into her bag, and you remained completely still, unable to stop this whole meeting from going up in flames.Â
âEres un maldita idiota!â Fresa snapped, her face red with anger.Â
There wasnât really anything worse she could have said to you at that moment.Â
âSnobbete kjerring.â You threw back, feeling a sharp spike of satisfaction when she zipped her bag angrily, completely incapable of understanding what youâd called her.Â
âYou know, I did this as a favor, tonta. I have worked all day, I came right here after my shift, on time. I have my own studies to do because yes, I want to be a nurse. I am smart, and I know what I want to do with my life. Maybe if you get your head out of your own ass, Engen, you might too! And you are right, this is a waste of time. My time!â
Fresa stomped out of the room, then, and you waited until she was out of sight before dropping your head into your hands with a deep sigh.Â
That couldnât have gone⊠any worse. And though it was probably all mostly your fault, you couldnât help the resentment building for the intelligent, stuck up girl that had thrown insult after insult at you, hitting you in all the places it hurt. You packed your own stuff up once you were sure you wouldnât run into Fresa again in the parking lot or something, shuffling dejectedly to your car.
The overthinking had begun. Was it really overthinking, you wondered, if youâd actually completely fucked up and the reasons for your anxiety were entirely reasonable? You werenât sure, and you supposed it didnât matter, your thoughts quickly spiraling as you rewinded the short meeting in your head.Â
The shrugging had really gotten to her, but you werenât sure what else to do. When in doubt, you had learned silence got you the best results. Often, no one really cared what you had to say anyway. Fresa was different, though, looking at you with her wide eyes, expecting an answer. It was intimidating. It scared you, honestly, how well the other girl seemed to see right through you.Â
And maybe⊠maybe there were some other feelings brewing. Ones you didnât want to consider. Feeling that didnât even matter given the way Fresa had stormed out. It didnât seem like there would be another study session.
This led you to your other problem. Youâd fucked this up. Something your sister and Mapi had gone out of their way to set up for you, because they didnât want you to have to repeat the year.Â
You didnât like to make mistakes. Every single one you made carried the risk that Ingrid would lose her patience with you, and give up. She hadnât yet, and youâd messed up a fair amount in the past several months, but you couldnât let yourself believe that no mistake could push her away. That just wasnât a possibility. So, rather than face your failure, tell Ingrid and Mapi how awkward and weird youâd been, you ran.Â
Or walked, you supposed. Your study session with Fresa had ended at 4:00, and it was almost 8 when you found yourself at the top of your favorite trail, legs scratched and aching, as the sun slipped below the horizon. Your phone was still dead and now Ingrid was absolutely going to kill you for going off the grid.Â
You broke traffic laws on the way home, any peace youâd found at the top of the hiking trail entirely gone as anxiety began to build up inside of you again.Â
Stepping into the house, you slipped off your muddy shoes, wincing at the blood trickling down the few cuts on your legs. Before you could even set your car keys down, though, footsteps were pounding down the hallway towards you.Â
âOh, thank god.â Ingrid gasped, sounding alarmingly emotional as she rushed forward and crushed you into a hug. âSheâs here!âÂ
âDios mio.â Mapi muttered, appearing over your sisterâs shoulder a moment later. Ingrid pulled away from you, her hands on your shoulders keeping you at arm's length. Her face quickly transformed from relieved to furious.Â
âWhere the hell have you been?â She hissed.Â
âIââ
âDo you have any idea how worried Iâve been? You didnât call, you didnât text. You were supposed to be home hours ago, Sol. Your location wouldnât show up on my phone, Fresa even said you ended your meeting early,â Ingrid ranted, though you began to tune her out at the sound of her name.Â
âYou talked to Fresa?â You interrupted, ignoring the incredulous look on Ingridâs face, turning your attention towards Mapi who was staring stonily at you.Â
âThat doesnât fucking matter right now. Where were you? Are you drunk? High? Were you fighting?â Ingrid demanded.
Each accusation felt like a bullet to the heart as Ingrid grabbed your chin and yanked it towards her, looking intently at your eyes. You shoved her away angrily; Ingrid wasnât supposed to see you as that person anymore. She had promised that she didnât, that she knew you werenât a bad kid, that you had just been having a hard time. Now, though. She was looking at you like she didnât trust a word that was about to come out of your mouth.Â
âNo.â You spat at her, grabbing your phone from your pocket and slamming it on the front hall table. âI went on a hike after I met Fresa and my phone died. I lost track of time. I wasnât getting drunk or high and I wasnât fighting anybody, but thanks for having some faith in me.â Your voice dripped with sarcasm, and even though you expected Ingrid to soften with a bit of guilt, she only seemed emboldened with anger.Â
âDonât you dare turn this around on me. You were supposed to be back four hours ago SolstrĂ„le. Four! This was so irresponsible. Do you not care that we were worried? Do you not care that we were here waiting for you? That Mapi made dinner, and you were going to work on her bike? Or that we were supposed to make cookies? After everything weâve done for you, SolstrĂ„le, I expect more.â She was shouting at this point, pacing back and forth in front of you.Â
You looked to Mapi, hoping for her to step in and talk her girlfriend down, but she looked almost as mad as Ingrid was, and you shrunk in on yourself.
âYou areâŠ. you are grounded. This is unacceptable, and you better never let it happen again. That is not how family behaves SolstrĂ„le. Did you think about how worried we would be? I am so upset with you, so disappointed that you didnât think about anyone but yourself, that you were so selfishââ
âAlright, Ingrid. Enough.â Mapi cut in finally, stepping forward to grab her girlfriend's hand and squeeze it. You were frozen in front of your sister, fighting the sob that was building in your throat.Â
Ingrid stepped back, her face still red with anger. A hint of regret flickered across her face at the sight of your lip trembling and the tears in your eyes. Still, you looked confused, and Ingrid couldnât shove her anger down at your lack of understanding. She turned, stomping off towards the kitchen, leaving you and Mapi behind.Â
âSol-â
âIâm going to shower. Sorry, Mapi. Iâm sorry.â You mumbled, pushing past her and heading up the stairs before the Spaniard could get out another word. Â
Mapi sighed tiredly, rubbing her hand over her face. Her Engens were going to make her go grey.Â
â
You had only just pulled some pajamas on after your shower when Mapi knocked, her gentle voice calling to you from the hall.Â
âYeah?â You called back, voice gravelly from all the sobbing you had done in the shower.Â
Mapi entered, the first aid kit in her hands and a much calmer expression on her face. She was in her pajamas, too, clearly having been waiting up for you to get out of the shower. It had been a long one. Another thing to be sorry for, keeping Mapi awake.Â
âCan I help with your legs?â She wondered, gesturing to the many cuts that littered them.
Shrugging noncommittally, you sunk down onto the edge of the bed, Mapi soon taking a seat opposite you. She pulled your calf up to rest across her lap, getting out the antiseptic spray and a few bandages. You purposefully looked away, barely having been able to get the blood off in the shower without getting light headed.Â
âAre you okay, mi sol?â Mapi murmured, fanning her hands over the cuts so the spray would dry faster. Mapi had a way of looking at you, eyes crinkled with concern and kindness, that made you want to burst into tears. You fought that instinct.Â
âI am fine.âÂ
Mapi sighed, unwrapping a few of the bandages and beginning to carefully put them on you.Â
âThen someone else was crying in the shower while you were in there?âÂ
No reply came, and Mapi sighed again, tapping your leg to tell you she was done with that one.Â
âLook, I know Ingrid was harsh, but you have to understand how worried she was. How worried we both were. I know you still remember the things you wrote in that letter all those months ago. Things like that donât just go away, Sol, and when you disappear for hours without a word, we worry.âÂ
This time, Mapi got a shrug in reply, and a small sniffle. She finished up with your other leg, gently pushing it off her lap and pulling you into a soft hug. âItâs okay, SolstrĂ„le. Everything is fine now.âÂ
You scoffed through your tears. âNothing is fine, Mapi. I screwed up with Fresa, I screwed up with Ingrid. They both probably hate me. Please, just go. Iâm tired.âÂ
Mapi shook her head. âYouâre upset, I just want toââ
âNo Mapi, just leave me be.â You tried to sound firm, but your voice was shaking almost as much as your hands were, and you were sure you just came off as pathetic.Â
âAlright, nena. I love you, hmm? Donât be too hard on yourself.âÂ
You remained silent, flopping back onto your bed as Mapi walked out of the room. Scout hopped up on the bed in her absence, licking your cheek twice before curling into your side.Â
It wasnât being too hard on yourself; the self hatred you felt in that moment was completely justified. You were very sure of that.Â
â
You were tucked into bed when the door creaked open again, Scout not even bothering to lift his head from where it was tucked into the comforter draped over your leg. You blinked your eyes open and they widened in surprise at the sight of Ingrid walking into the room, hair messy as though sheâd been tossing and turning. She neared the edge of your bed, leaning down and kissing your forehead gently.Â
âGoodnight, sweetheart. I donât hate you, okay? I love you very much. Everything is going to be okay, so just try to get some rest.âÂ
You nodded weakly, impatiently pushing a tear off your cheek with the back of your hand. âIâm sorry, Ingrid. Really sorry.âÂ
âItâs alright. Youâre safe, yes? And thatâs all that really matters.â Ingrid promised, and you nodded, sniffling pathetically. âWe can talk more tomorrow, but just go to sleep, okay? Everything is fine.âÂ
âLove you.â You mumbled, Ingrid smiling softly down at her. You didnât often say that first, something Ingrid attributed to having said it to your Mamma and not heard it back so many times.Â
âI love you.â Ingrid replied, patting your cheek twice before tucking the covers up tighter around you, and heading out of the room.Â
â
You woke up to a few unexpected things the next morning. One, it was almost 11 and Scout hadnât woken you up demanding a walk. In fact, Scout was nowhere to be found. Two, the sounds of Mapiâs Spanish soap and Ingridâs clanging around the kitchen echoed through the house. Youâd forgotten they had the day off today. Ingrid must have taken Scout out to let you sleep in.Â
The first two unexpected things, then, were explainable. The third⊠was not.Â
A text from Fresa.Â
Tuesday at the library. If you want to give it another shot. I think I can help.Â
You thought about the way youâd behaved, and the way Fresa had spoken to you. Before you could delete the thread with her and close your phone, though, you thought about the letter youâd hidden from your sister. The excited smile on Mapiâs face when youâd agreed to let Fresa tutor you.Â
Before you quite knew what you were doing, you pulled the message back up, your fingers typing away without you telling them to.
Yeah. Iâd appreciate that. What time?Â
There was something that drew you to Fresa, even as she infuriated you. Maybe it was how her voice had softened when sheâd asked if you couldnât read the Spanish on the paper, or maybe it was how sheâd smiled unconsciously, watching Alexia score a goal the past weekend. It was a nice smile. And she had a nice voice.Â
None of it really made any sense to you, but youâd already sent the text.Â
â
For some reason, you felt a bit awkward. There was something very odd about knowing Mapi had been upset with you, because normally that was just Ingrid. But you knew Mapi had been just as worried last night as Ingrid, and just as upset. Sheâd been in the garage all morning, too, and you wondered if she was avoiding you or allowing you to decide to come to her if you wanted to talk.
After the 5th time you glanced at the door to the garage, though, Ingrid rolled her eyes from where she was sitting at the other end of the couch, typing away on her computer.Â
âGo talk to her. Sheâs not angry, I promise.âÂ
Ingrid wasnât angry anymore, either. Youâd spoken with her practically first thing when youâd woken up, apologizing again and again and emphasizing that you hadnât really realized how your actions would have affected Ingrid until it was too late.Â
Youâd told her about a time back in Norway when youâd stayed out all night after a fight with your Mamma, and when youâd come home the next morning, she hadnât even noticed that youâd been gone. Ingrid understood a bit more, then, and was quick to hug you tight and whisper that she forgave you.
And even though Mapi had come in last night and tried to make you feel better, you knew she might have been waiting to be upset until she knew for sure you were okay. That made you even more nervous.Â
Ingrid snorted from behind you when you knocked on the door to the garage, as normally you just walked right in. You shot her a glare, stepping inside the garage at the sound of Mapiâs quiet come in.Â
The defender didnât glance up as you walked in, but you took a seat in the chair next to her. Your chair.Â
It was quiet for a moment, the sounds of Mapiâs metal tool gently clanging against the bike.Â
âWhat did Fresa say to you last night?â You blurted out, face flushing red because why was that the first thing out of your mouth.Â
Mapi fixed you with a half amused look, shaking her head. âThat is what youâre asking?âÂ
âNo.â You sighed. âAre you mad at me?âÂ
âNo.â Mapi echoed, going quiet for a moment as she thought. âNot mad. Itâs just hard for me, Sol. Last night, you didnât even think that weâd be worried about you and where you were. It just makes me a bit sad.â
âOh.âÂ
âAnd itâs not your fault, nena. I just worry for you.âÂ
You nodded slowly. âIâm really sorry. I should have thought about how worried you guys would have been.â
Mapi gave you a half smile. âI know you are. And you wonât do it again sĂ?âÂ
Your head bobbed up and down rapidly as you agreed, more sure than youâd ever been that youâd not be doing something that stupid again.Â
âNow. Why are you so concerned with what Fresa said to me, hmm? What did you do?"

If I Could Never Give You Peace
( bllk boys when your secret relationship is leaked by paparazzi)
a/n â wrote this on a whim after listening to peace by taylor swift
content â some nsfw but not explicit, fem! reader, cursing , all characters are 18 or 18+, slight ooc maybe?, some characters are repeated
synopsis â what happens when your relationship is leaked?
â.Ëâźđ§âźË.â ' i'd give you my sunshine, give you my best ' â.Ëâźđ§âźË.â
â©âË.ââŸââșâ⧠the... ' everyone thought you'd broken up '
listen, you knew dating a good soccer player in high school was a big deal, but you didn't realize how big of a deal it really was when he went pro.
this was the same boy ( now man) that you'd been dating since you were 14, so nothing really changed your views on him. if you could love him through his awkward phase, and he could love you through yours, there was no way you'd break up.
again, you didn't realize that your relationship was such a big deal. it wasn't that the two of you were a secret, it was more of a 'private not secret' situation.
so when the two of you woke up in your shared bed because of just how many notifications the both of you were getting, you knew something was up.
and low and behold, something was wrong. when you opened any social media the first thing you saw was a strangely amazing photo of you and your long-term boyfriend kissing. really, if it wasn't a paparazzi photo, it would be your lock screen.
"aren't we just the cutest?" he asked you, phone thrown back onto his bedside table as if he didn't have a care in the world. (and he really didn't, not in this case)
truly, the only thing that may make him angry in this whole situation is the fact that he got woken up far earlier than his usual routine by all the commotion.
but of course, as he was dozing back off, you were reading the comments, as any loyal significant other would.
soccerluvr45: omg is that is gf from high school? i thought they broke up
okay, yeah. he had a rather public instagram account in high school that his rabid fans had found that had pictures of the two of you, but you'd never broken up?
reading through the many comments, it was like everyone had collectively decided the two of you'd broken up.
"mhm...just ignore it. the pr lady will deal with it." he mumbled as he grabbed your phone from your hands, laying it beside his before wrapping his arms around you.
"go to bed, 's too early to deal with all this."
his fans were silly, if they could see you with this bed-head man right now, they'd see there was no way the two of you would ever break up.

â©âË.ââŸââșâ⧠the... ' pr nightmare '
anyone who knew your boyfriend knew he was...a little extreme.
and unfortunately for you, this also applied when your relationship became public because of a slight slip of focus from the two of you. it wasn't that you were trying to keep your relationship a secret, you'd already been together a year now, but you also weren't trying to out yourselves.
yet, one singular minute when the two of you slipped away to the bathroom together at a soccer banquet...well lets just say a paparazzi was scarily ready to snap someone, anyone's, photo.
so here you were, sitting in a terrifyingly big office with your boyfriend and almost his entire management team.
"do you know what this could do to your reputation?" his manager asked. "it's just two adults doing adult things, they should've been in that bathroom! that would've gotten themâ"
"okay, sir..."the pr woman cut him off, ever too enthusiastic to be talking about your private lives.
"you just need to ignore all of this until it goes away, alright? no press interviews after games anymore," she sighed as if this was basic comprehension. (your boyfriend wasn't the smartest but he also didn't need to be treated like an idiot.) "and no posting on any social medias for the time being. do you understand?"
"yeah, yeah. no talking to the grown men after games. and..."he grimaced at the thought of his next condition. " c'mon is posting on my socials that bad? i don't post about us anyways."
"at. all." and the room felt as icy as the pr woman's stare.
"yeah, no, okay i got it. no social media."
after another thirty minutes of this, with them saying basically the same stuff to you (even though you had no real social media presence anyways), you guys finally left.
"no fucking posting? what if i have to talk about a game coming up?" "i'm sure she knows how to do her job, love." you soothed your boyfriend as you got in the car the company arranged to have you two taken up with.
"yeah, well whatever. give me your hand," and who were you to say no to your boyfriend?
he took your hand and placed it on his neck, a place where you could see a few bites and hickeys if you really looked hard enough.
before you could protest he took a picture, posting it on his VERY public account with the caption...
' i love my woman ;) '
before turning off his phone completely.
"let's see them try to get ahold of me now."

â©âË.ââŸââșâ⧠the... ' what picture ? '
how do two chronically offline people realize their relationship is now under scrutiny by the entire world?
the simple answer is...they don't!
you've never been interested in social media the way other girls your age had been. really, you'd rather just watch a video essay on every little topic that interests you than sit and watch six second videos then scroll all day.
to say the least, fast and forever changing social media just wasn't your thing.
and your boyfriend? he hardly even used his phone. unless it was for business or you, the thing was practically shoved away somewhere he couldn't care less about.
he would rather be reading or spending time with you out on a date...which is exactly the predicament the paparazzi put you in earlier this week.
the two of you were photographed having a little picnic and reading date at a small park that was pretty far out of town, assuming no one there knew, or even cared, enough to take a picture, but alas, someone did.
you and he had spent the rest of your week in pure, relaxed bliss. he had a game on saturday, so besides him going to practice and working out, the two of you stayed inside almost all week to prepare for the rather hectic weekend.
to say the game was a nail biter would be the understatement of the century. after two additional times, it was your boyfriend who scored the winning goal.
of course, you cheered the loudest, not noticing plenty of fans eyes on you unlike how many used to just chalk you up as an ecstatic fan.
as the post game interview came for him, you decided to stay closer to the door just incase it ran short. sometimes it was a one and done for him and others the questions went on for at least fifteen minutes, it just depended on his mood.
of course, the first question was about his game winning goal, but the second one threw him and you for a loop.
" what do you have to say about the photos of you and your reported girlfriend that have come out this past week? "
"...huh? what photos?"
eventually, the two of you did see the pictures, and all you could do was laugh because...how had you two not found out about this?
and you also made the picture your phone lock screen, but he didn't have to know that.

Television Influence
Homicipher || Mr. Crawling + GN Reader
So... I have no idea how to use Tumblr to write fics But. Consider this my trial before it goes down :3
CONTENTS: (1) mentions & descriptions of murder, (2) kissing
Disclaimer: the part about MC being an assassin is just a hc I came up with. There are spoilers under the cut, though (at least I think I put the cut, idk tho)
So hear me out. Idk if anyone did this yet, but listen: after bringing your sweetheart (Mr. Crawling, obviously) to the real world, things went back to normal. Sort of. You were never really normal to begin with.
********
You went back to your old job, hacking and killing, keeping the bills steady with commissions, yada yada. Corporate worker on weekdays, but at night and on weekends, you're a highly sought out eliminator.
This busy schedule didn't sit right for Mr. Crawling, though. Every time you came back, you noticed that he sat before the door, already waiting for you to twist the knob and push. You installed cameras to try to keep your eyes on what he did, only to find out that if his presence was caught on camera, the film would glitch and blur and static would pepper across your screen. Still, you were able to decipher what he did through the choppy feed.
He stood his ground in front of the door with that small, anticipating grin on his grey face. Your heart ached at the sight, cooing aloud right in front of your victim before you slammed your crowbar into their skull.
That's when you realised you didn't like leaving him for hours on end. You didn't want to make him wait like that.
An idea sparked in your head when you were getting ready for your morning job. Mr. Crawling was still lying on his spot next to yours on your shared bed. You couldn't tell if he was sleeping or spacing out. Did he even need sleep?
You shrugged that thought off and quietly tip-toed your way into your living room. You switched on the TVâwhich you never used until nowâand left the volume at a moderate level before leaving for work.
Truly enough, the sweetheart confusedly crawled over to sit at the front of the screen, watching the rom-com show that just got aired.
You smiled, leaving the monitoring app as you sipped from your favourite morning tea. You checked in on him around every five hours, and he never moved from his spot, not until you were already at your front door, though. The humanoid man seemed to hit a realization and crawled to the front door once again. It's like he already knew when you usually arrived.
He just sat there with that same thin smile on his face, waiting for your return. If he had a tail, it'd be swaying slowly. Patient and hopeful, like a dog.
You pushed the door open, and his chipper laughter rang through the air.
"You home! You home!"
He pushed a chuckle out of your lips, embracing you by the hips as you locked your front door with shaky hands due to his movement.
"Home, home," you nodded, sighing, yet you still smiled. "Hungry? Want eat?"
He giggled again, his smile practically cutting from ear to ear.
You served him his red soupâit wasn't tomatoes, but it was the chunks and blood of your victim last night.
"You enjoy?" You asked, leaning on your palm as you watched him eat. "Thing," you pointed at the TV in the nearby room. "Thing fun?"
Mr. Crawling wiped the leftover soup from his lips, pitch black tongue licking over where the blood was on his hand.
"Thing fun," he agreed. "You more fun. Many more."
You laughed. Thank goodness for all the language lessons you took on his dialect because these little gems that left his cold lips would've flown last your head.
Suddenly, Mr. Crawling paused.
"Want... try something."
"Try?" You tilted your head in confusion, and he mirrored your expression as you uttered a word in English. "More eat? Eat another?"
He giggled. "No!"
Your brows knitted together, and your lips pursed as you pondered. "Try what?"
Mr. Crawling crawled around the chabudai table, already hovering over your lap. His lips formed that same loveable (and slightly uncanny) smile. "You, me..." he gestured between you two with one hand. You nodded along, hoping to understand. "Me, you," you said.
He gestured again. "Not the same. Me, you, different. I saw otherâother like you," he pointed at the TV. "Saw many like you. They say love, but they not show. Why?"
"...?" You had to process that for a second. Lengthy sentences in his language were harder to decode. "Er... um," you sighed. "They not ready? Love big, but they know small."
He watched you expectantly, so you continued.
"Uh... love big. Yes. Many meaning. Few word, few say."
"You love me?"
This was a question you got daily. It didn't hurt to answer repetively, but now that you thought of it....
Your hesitation made Mr. Crawling shrink back, his smile slowly turning into pouting.
"No no," you quickly added. "Me love you. You kind. You rescue."
He perked up, his joy bouncing right back. "Me love you!" He chirped.
You sighed, but your breath of relief didn't last long. He took you by the chin, his cold and calloused hands as gentle as he always was, and he poked his lips against yours in a brief kiss.
.
.
.
"You cute," he giggled, and you realised your face went red. "Cute, cute."
"Where did you learn to do that?" You blurted out, confusion and fluttering shyness grasping your stomach like a ruthless vine. "I meanâ" you snapped out of it, seeing his confusion. "âhow... how you know... do that?"
He pointed at the TV again. "Saw many like you. Say they love they, then they do!"
.
.
.
He saw people kiss?
"Youâ"
He kissed you again. Did it even count as a kiss? It was more like tapping lips together than a kiss.
"Cute!" He chirped and kissed you again. It didn't take much for you to know that he was pleased with your reddened cheeks and wanted to see it over and over. You counted twenty times before you stopped him, which made him frown.
"I teach," you sighed, your shyness wearing off. He practically bounced at your words. "I teach you how. My language, I call 'kiss'."
He tilted his head.
You said it again. "Kiss."
"....Ck...ck..."
"Kiss." You nodded.
"Ki...iss?"
You patted his head in approval. "Kiss."
He giggled. "Kiss! Kiss! Me kiss you!"
You couldn't help but laugh. "I teach you how. Don't move."
He didn't.
When you leaned in for a kiss, he stiffened, but he didn't move away. You held his hands and brought them to your waist, and then you held the sides of his head, pressing on.
You didn't take it too far, noâhe wasn't really ready for English yet, let alone French if you know what I mean.
"....Me kiss you," you said.
It was almost as if steam was blowing out of his ears. The place around his cheeks darkened into a deeper grey, and you laughed. Before you could comment, however, he pounced at the chance to kiss you again before you changed your mind.

When you had found out your dad was cheating on your mom two years ago, you could feel the numbness seeping into every crack and crevice in your body. You remember looking at his phone while you two were watching a tv show and seeing the dirty texts he sent to a woman he used to work with. He was never very subtle about texting her, and you just had a feeling. Deep down, you knew what you were going to find.Â
That didnât mean it still didn't hurt.Â
The betrayal, the anger, the sadness. They all rushed over you but youâre still not really sure if you actually felt any of it. You were in a daze for the rest of the day, the need to scream building in your throat gradually.Â
You finally couldnât take it anymore and you went for a run the next day, which is something you never would usually do. The thumping of your feet against the pavement sounded like why? why? why? Why would he do this? Why would he choose her over his family? You ran until it felt like your legs were on fire and your lungs were about to burst until you finally doubled over, bit down on your hand, and let the guttural scream claw its way out of you. Your teeth had broken your skin and you could still see the small white scar if you flexed your hand just right.Â
After that, you locked the pain somewhere deep down inside you. You hadnât even gotten to really confront him about it.
But when Agatha says that your dad is having an affair, you feel your stomach drop and somewhere, the buried feelings start begging to get free, rattling on the bars of their enclosure.Â
âWhat?â You ask quietly, a lump growing in your throat as you crane your head up to look at her. Your hand on her stomach stalls. She has a distant look in her eyes.Â
âMonday night after you left, your dad couldnât find his phone so we were looking for it. I found it on the kitchen table while he was looking in his office and he had just gotten a text. I glanced at it and it was from a woman.â Agatha doesnât continue, but you can only imagine what the text said.Â
âIâm sorry,â you whisper, the lump getting bigger. You remember making that mean comment to her the first night you got dinner about him cheating again.Â
She laughs ironically. âI guess I canât be mad. I mean, look at us.â Â
You glance up at her to meet her sardonic eyes. âYeah, but look at who you cheated on versus who he did. Iâm sure this other woman isnât even half as hot as you are.âÂ
She softly smiles and then leans down to peck your lips with hers. âThatâs sweet of you to say, honey.âÂ
âSo what are you going to do?âÂ
She sighs deeply and starts gently tugging on the ends of your hair. âI donât know. Confront him? Get a divorce? Iâve spent the last two days just trying to figure something out.âÂ
Her cold silence makes sense now. So does the way she fucked you earlier.Â
You turn your head and press a kiss to her bare shoulder. âIâm sorry,â you repeat, because what else is there to say? âIs there anything I can do to help?âÂ
Her fingers tighten in your hair and they pull to tilt your head so youâre looking right at her. âI can think of something,â she says, a teasing lilt in her voice.Â
âOh, yeah?â Your eyebrow raises and she smirks with a daring nod. âAnything for my step-mother.âÂ
You kiss down her stomach, making sure to sink your teeth into her delectable abs and suck hard. She moans and arches her back off the bed. Soon enough, her midsection is littered with red marks and fuck, itâs hot.Â
If your dad is too much of a fucking idiot to appreciate this woman, youâll just have to take matters into your own hands.Â
You settle between her thighs on the bed and slowly drag your tongue up the inside of her right thigh. A noise slips out from her lips and you do the same thing on the other side to hear it again.Â
âStop teasing, baby,â she warns in a low voice. Sheâs glistening.Â
You chuckle and then lick up through her folds. She groans and raises her hips so you can get in closer. Your tongue swirls around her clit.Â
âFuck,â she swears under her breath. You begin to lap at her, heat growing between your own legs at the way her breath stutters and her thighs begin to shake.Â
âDid he ever make you feel like this?â You ask, words garbled since your mouth is full of her cunt. But she rolls her hips on her face seemingly involuntarily, so you know she understood.Â
âNever,â she says breathlessly and you pick up the pace, swirling and sucking, wanting her to feel good.Â
She cums quickly and then she pulls you up into a deep kiss, tongue moving over yours to taste herself.Â
âWhat does this mean for us?â You wonder aloud after she cleans your face and you both are cuddling again. If Agatha and your father get divorced, will this affair end? Will it become more?
âWhat do you want it to mean?âÂ
âI donât know,â you say, because you donât. âI like this, though.âÂ
She kisses your forehead and you can feel her smiling against you. âI do, too.âÂ
***
Dinner tonight with Agatha and I? is what your dad texts you the next day while youâre at school. You frown and quickly shoot Agatha a text about it. The two of you hadnât spoken any more about what she was going to do about your fatherâs infidelity so you just want to be aware if youâre walking into a trap. Youâre not sure you can take another dinner where your dad sits you down and tells you that heâs getting a divorce.Â
Agatha responds that she hasnât talked to him yet. You did know that he was away on business â although, that could just be code for having an affair â so he hasnât been home. And you donât think Agatha would be one to confront him over the phone.Â
You text your dad back that youâll be there. Youâre curious to see what itâs about.Â
The rest of the day passes quickly while you worry about what dinner could bring. You take a quick shower when you get home from school and put on a casual black dress. You donât really care about looking nice for whatever restaurant you go to, you just want to look good for Agatha. Your mouth almost waters at the thought of whatever she will wear. She always manages to look ethereal.Â
Your phone buzzes with a message from Agatha. Your father is meeting us at the restaurant. Iâm outside.Â
You can sense the tension radiating off the older woman the moment you step outside. She tersely watches you walk over to her car and slide into the passenger seat. Agathaâs wearing pants with a silky button down shirt and she looks hot.Â
âHey, baby,â she says, leaning over to press a kiss to your cheek.Â
âYou okay?âÂ
She grimaces and puts her sunglasses on. âIâve barely talked to him since he left on his trip. He just asked if the three of us could get dinner.âÂ
Your brow furrows. âAre you going to say anything tonight?âÂ
Agatha purses her lips and reaches over to pat your leg. âI wouldnât do that with you there. Iâm not putting you in the middle of this.âÂ
Your heart warms because your mother did not hesitate to put you in the middle of her problems with your dad. She had broken almost every boundary and turned you into her therapist, and it now fills you with immense gratitude that Agatha wonât do that.Â
Even though you are very much in the middle of it, with you and her having sex and all.Â
âThank you.âÂ
You both launch into small talk until you pull into the restaurant parking lot, where you see your dad waiting out front. Your stomach begins to sink just at the sight of him.Â
You canât believe he did it again.Â
âSweetheart, are you alright?â Agatha asks, voice tight with worry. She must see how youâre looking at him through the window. Youâve never opened up about your parents with her, but you can tell that she at least partly knows how you must be feeling.Â
You clench your jaw and steel your nerves. âIâm good.âÂ
You try to not get angry when your dadâs face lights up at the sight of the two of you.Â
âMy favorite girls!â He booms and pulls you both into a hug. You can feel how tense Agatha is and youâre sure you feel the same. âHow are we?â
âGood,â you mutter and Agatha says something along the lines of that as well.Â
He made a reservation so youâre immediately led to a booth tucked in the back of the restaurant. You sit opposite your dad and Agatha doesnât hesitate before sliding in next to you.Â
âHow was your trip?â Agatha asks, tone laced with something sharp like sheâs trying to catch him in an act.Â
Before he can answer, the waitress comes over. She looks a few years older than you, with brown hair and pretty blue eyes. Almost like a younger version of Agatha, you think. She takes your drink orders, her gaze lingering a bit too long on you as you ask for a sprite.Â
You can see Agatha scowling at her out of the corner of your eye.Â
Your dad starts talking about his work when she leaves but you suddenly lose all focus when Agatha slowly moves her hand to your thigh and grips it possessively.Â
She clearly does not like the waitress, who comes back a few minutes later with your drinks. Fully aware of this, you reach out to take your sprite from the waitress and your fingers brush right in front of Agathaâs face.
Her nails dig into your leg and you subtly smirk at her. Her eyes have completely darkened.Â
After everyone orders food, you excuse yourself to go to the bathroom. Youâve started throbbing from the tight hold Agatha has on you â both literally and figuratively â and youâre not sure youâll last another minute without some relief.Â
Just as you push open the door, someone grabs your wrist and shoves you inside. You gasp and whirl around, fear clenching your heart, only to find that itâs Agatha.Â
She closes the door behind her and locks it. Youâre so thankful itâs a single-person bathroom.Â
Agatha advances and you step back until you hit the sink.Â
âI know what youâre doing,â she hisses, trapping you against it by putting her hands on either side of you.Â
âWhat do you mean, mommy?â You ask innocently, enjoying the way her dark eyes flash. Her hand comes up to wrap around your throat and a thrill runs through you. Youâre sure youâre absolutely dripping now.Â
âYou were making eyes at that dirty waitress,â she accuses. âLooks like you need a reminder of who you belong to.âÂ
Before you can ask what she means, she flips you over so the sink is cutting into your hip bones and you can see the reflection of you both in the mirror. You look like a mess. And she looks like she is enjoying every bit of it.Â
And then she grinds her front against you and you feel something hard in her pants. You watch your mouth fall open in the mirror.Â
âYou-â You donât even have the words and the ache inside you is only getting worse. A smug smile spreads across her face as she reaches down to unzip her pants. Her other hand moves your underwear to the side, not even bothering to take it off.
She drags her strap-on up and down your slit, laughing cruelly at the way your hips move to try to get her inside.Â
âPlease,â you whine, feeling empty.Â
She leans down so she can whisper in your ear, âWho do you belong to?âÂ
âYou, mommy,â you say desperately and you let out a loud moan when she finally pushes into you.
âBe quiet,â she jeers and spanks you hard. You bite down on your lip to keep from moaning, but also to keep from telling her that spanking makes noise, too.
She sets a rough pace from the beginning, grabbing onto your hips with bruising force. You let out little gasps as she thrusts into you, over and over, already bringing you close to the edge. She reaches around you with one hand and starts rubbing your clit and your head falls forward in pleasure.Â
Agatha pauses for a second so she can yank you back up by your hair. âLook at yourself,â she says, forcing you to watch yourself in the mirror. She resumes her fast pace. âLook at how well youâre taking my cock for me. Look at how much of a slut you are for me.â When she calls you a slut, you physically canât stop the sound that comes out of your mouth.Â
âMommy, please,â you pant, your entire body feeling like a livewire. âWanna cum.â
âDo you think a brat like you deserves to cum after making mommy jealous like that?âÂ
âMâsorry, mommy, Iâll be good,â you practically cry. You meet every thrust, eyes rolling back in your head from how perfect she feels. Your body is on edge from all the effort itâs taking to not cum. âNeed to, so close.â
âWho do you belong to?âÂ
âYou, only you,â you sob.Â
âGood girl,â she says, pressing a kiss to the side of your neck. âCum for me, sweetheart.âÂ
Two more thrusts and a rub of your clit and you cum all over her cock. Itâs explosive and you bite on your lip so hard that you taste blood. She begins to slow down as you come back down to earth and you rest your head against the mirror to recover.Â
Someone knocks on the door and you freeze since your step-mother is buried to the hilt inside of you at this current moment.Â
But she just sweetly calls, âOccupied!â and you canât help but laugh breathlessly. She pulls out of you and you wince.Â
âWow,â you say as she helps you clean up. âYou know I wasnât flirting with the waitress, right?âÂ
She smirks and pulls you in for a deep kiss. âI know, baby. I just couldnât spend another minute listening to your dad talk.â
âJoin the club.âÂ
You feel like everyone is watching the two of you as you make your way back to the table, but in reality, theyâre not. Your dad is on his phone texting someone â you think you see a womanâs name at the top â but he quickly swipes out of it when he notices that you both have come back. You glance at Agatha just in time to see her eye twitching.Â
âThere you ladies are! I thought you had gotten lost. Everything okay?â He asks. You think youâre just imagining the condescending tone, but Agatha stiffens next to you so maybe not.Â
âActually yeah,â she says. âIâm filing for divorce.â You gape at her as she spins on her heel and walks away.Â
You turn your head back to your dad, who looks back at you, dumbfounded.Â
âSweet pea-â he starts but you hold up your hand to cut him off.Â
âNo. Fuck you. You donât deserve anyone.âÂ
And then you leave to follow Agatha, feeling suddenly like the weight inside you has finally lifted.Â

The lights in the arena darkened around the group standing at the barricade. Matt, Nick, Chris, and Chris' girlfriend cheered along with everyone else as you appeared in a spotlight on the stage. "Boston! It's so good to see you!" you exclaimed into the microphone causing the crowd to roar. Matt practically had hearts for eyes as you sauntered around the stage in small, sparkly outfits. Sure, he had heard your music and seen you in photos before, but there was something different about seeing you in front of him. Chris and Nick quickly took notice of Matt's in awe state and chuckled.
After a few numbers you had reached the interactive section of your concert. Oftentimes you chose a person in the crowd who was dancing the most or seemed to be having the best time. It was never actually based on your physical attraction to someone, until this time. You had been eyeing the three identical boys in the front row. One specifically caught your eye. You'd seen these boys online before and while you didn't know much about them, you knew which one you wanted. He seemed a bit more quiet than the other two and was staring at you like you were glowing. "Girls, girls, come here!" you spoke into the mic, gesturing for two of your dancers to come over. "Do you see that guy right there? Yes, the triplet but that one, with the pink t shirt," you pointed in Matt's direction. He froze as the camera panned to him for the crowd to see on the big screen. Everyone went wild causing Nick and Chris to bust out laughing. The lights throughout the arena flashed red and blue as a siren sound played throughout the stadium. You knelt down in front of him, "hey there, what's your name?" You cooed into the microphone, batting your eyelashes.
"M-Matthew!" he stammered nervously as Nick filmed the interaction.
"Oh Matthew, I'm afraid you're under arrest. You are just way too hot!" You giggled into the microphone, "Will you take these sweetie?" The security guard took the fuzzy pink handcuffs from your hand and held them over the barricade for Matt to grab. His blush was iminent as he took them with a smile and a nod. You stood back up, winking at him. "There are so many thoughts running through my head, Matthew. Dirty, dirty - oh! my clothes are falling off for you, Matthew!" You laughed stepping out of your dress revealing a shiny pink body suit. The intro of the song began and you danced and sang with your crew. "Whole package, babe, I like the way you fit. God bless your dad's genetics," You sang, gesturing to the triplets with a giggle. Every once in a while throughout the song you'd shoot Matt a look or a wink. "You make me wanna make you fall in love. Oh, late at night, I'm thinking 'bout you, ah-ah. Wanna try out some freaky positions? Hey Matthew, have you ever tried this one?" You sat on your knees with one arm in the air doing a lasso motion to represent cowgirl. Matt about fell over and Chris was a laughing mess next to him. His brothers could not believe what they were witnessing.
That song ended and the show continued. A few songs later, the triplets and Chris' girlfriend were approached by someone from your team. "Matt?" Your manager asked, "You've all been requested backstage after the show." She smiled handing them all passes and getting back to work.
"No way!" Chris' girlfriend jumped up and down.
"Dude, your charm got us connections!" Nick laughed patting Matt on the shoulder. Matt stood staring at the backstage passes in awe. He couldn't believe that you had noticed him in the first place but also to invite him backstage??

pookieeee how are youuu đ I'm in NEED of a Franco fic where the reader is JoĂŁo FĂ©lix's little sister...
So she obvi speaks Portuguese and English (maybe some Italian in there too) butttt unlike her brother her Spanish is rusty. So when reader drags her brother (and of course some of the guys from the team) to support her best friend at a race, he's listening in to every little comment Franco makes about her in Spanish and trying to subtly give hints to reader that he likes her, and of course some good brother teasing! Just hardcore fluff, friend pining and good old family banter!
HE CAN UNDERSTAND - FC43
listen up : i used google translate donât come for me. not proofread! super cute and fluffy! loved this request sorry if i didng execute it wellđ
word count : 2281
âïœĄâ§Ëâ
âFranco!â I jump into my best friends arms as he laughs. The moment I asked for three Grand Prix tickets, he sent them over immediately and went on a rant of how excited he was to see me.
âY/n!â He grins widely at me, âIâm so happy youâre here!â He's in his race suit, his hair messy and extra wavy. I run my hand through it, fixing it a bit.
âYouâre a mess.â I laugh as he pushes my hand away and rolls his eyes, âOh!â I suddenly remember that my brother is standing behind me. âThis is my brother, JoĂŁo! I canât believe you two havenât met!â I smile at both of them as my brother shakes Francoâs hand.
Oddly professional for someone he knows I love. âNice to finally meet you. Y/n never shuts up about you.â I slightly blush at his words as Franco lets out a laugh.
âGood to knowâŠâ Franco gives us a mini tour. I'm so beyond happy for him. This has been his dream since forever, the first time I met him he even jokingly flirted and said I could be a WAG.
Franco is charming and hilarious so my brother likes him instantly. We end up in the Williamâs garage, everyone scrambling around and talking in languages I canât understand.
Since itâs race day, iâm genuinely surprised Franco had the time to see us. Especially since Qualifying was earlier today.
But my best friend works in magical ways.
âàŒș
FRANCO
I watch Y/n talk to Alexâs girlfriend. I watch as her hair flows down her back and her hand covers her mouth as she laughs. âSo,â JoĂŁo turns to me, sort of intimidating for his height but so far I think he approves of me. âYouâve known Y/n for a while, huh?â
I nod, âYeah, she hasn't been able to shake me yet.â He laughs, nodding his head.
âYou care about her?â Why do I feel like iâm getting interrogated?
I nod, âOf course. Sheâs my best friend.â
âI mean as more than a friend.â
I laugh uncomfortably, joking with him, âAre you asking me my intentions?â He does not find this funny. I clear my throat and breathe out, âWeâre just friends.â
Y/n comes skipping back over to us. Iâve always been taught to not lie, but iâm not about to confess that I like her to fucking brother.
âJ, youâve got to see his car!â She takes his arm and pulls him away, âYou coming, Fran?â
Iâm about to follow after them but my engineer taps my shoulder, âGimmie one second! Don't touch anything, Y/n, I know how you are!â
She gives me one of her signature smiles, making my pulse quicken and my smile falter. I catch her brother giving me an odd look before I sit up and wave.
I turn to my engineer whoâs smiling, big, âDios mĂo, te estĂĄs sonrojando.â (My god, youâre blushing.) I roll my eyes at him, turning to see Y/n point to my car and start asking questions to someone in blue.
âÂĄCĂĄllate por favor!â (Shut up please!) Her Spanish is more than rusty. I've tried to teach her some but she gets distracted and she always ends up persuading me into something different. Still, itâs weird talking about her when sheâs right there.
âVamos, ÂĄte gusta! Es la forma en que la miras... como si fuera el sol.â (Come on, you like her! Itâs the way you look at her⊠like sheâs the sun.) I push his shoulder at his words. Christ, is it that obvious?
âActĂșas como si fuera un cachorrito enamorado.â (You act like iâm some lovesick puppy)
âÂĄPorque lo eres! Siempre hablas de ella, tu pantalla de bloqueo es ella, ÂĄsiempre le estĂĄs enviando mensajes de texto! AdmĂtelo.â (Because you are! You always talk about her, your lock screen is her, you are always texting her! Just admit it.)
I cross my arms at him, not daring to glance back at her. âNo voy a arruinar mi relaciĂłn con ellaâŠâ I shake my head and tease him, âÂĄAhora vuelve a trabajar!â (Iâm not ruining my relationship with her⊠now get back to work!)
I join Y/n and JoĂŁo again, smiling and doing my duty as a tour guide. JoĂŁo gives me another weird look and iâm hoping itâs not because iâm losing his trust. I know iâm not her boyfriend, but I still want him to like me.
They are soon asked to step into the visitors area as I warm up for the race. Y/n kisses my cheek before she goes, âGood luck, Fran. Be careful!â I know my cheeks are red but all I can focus on is her so close to me, her lips on my cheek.
I nod, âThank you. Have fun watching.â I wink at her and turn, getting ready.
âàŒș
YOU
âIâm so nervous! Itâs so rainy!â I bite my lip as the cars go out on track in a second formation lap. The race hasnât even started and someoneâs already out!
My brother eyes me, heâs been acting weird all day and I hate it. He suddenly turns to me, âYou donât like Franco?â
It catches me off guard, âUh⊠of course I do?â He rolls his eyes.
âI mean can you see yourself with him? I think youâd be cute.â I laugh out loud.
âJoĂŁo, when have you ever wanted me to date someone?â Especially Franco. I mean, maybe iâve thought about it.
Okay maybe I've fantasized about it⊠a lot.
But what am I supposed to do? Confess to my best friend whoâs always been there for me that I think heâs irresistible and criminally hot? No.
âI just think if youâre gonna date anyone⊠Heâs a good option.â My cheeks heat as I shake my head, âYouâre blushing! Come on, Y/n, why not?â
âJust shut up, the race is starting!â
The next time he brings it up is at a yellow flag, âHeâs definitely nicer than your ex.â I give him a death glare and attempt to tune him out, âAnd who did you go crying to after he broke your heartâŠ.?â Franco. The answer is Franco because heâs always there.
Itâs been hard recently because of his races, but heâs constantly texting or calling me. I think he just wants someone to gossip with.
âAgain, heâs my friend. Just because you have a girlfriend now doesnât mean you know everything!â
âNo but I know everything about you, and you donât look at your other friends like that.â I hate that stupid smug smile on his face. And I hate that heâs right.
My stomach drops when Franco goes into the wall. I grab onto my brother's arm who doesnât look concerned at all and more happy that iâm so worried! I slap his arm, âYou have no empathy!â
I cross my arms, biting my lip as I watch him exit the car. Thank god heâs okay.
Franco gives me a small thumbs up when heâs back in the garage. I can tell heâs absolutely gutted, the air is awkward and thick with tension since Francoâs crash meant that the whole team's weekend is over.
The race is long and honestly scary. Still, all I can think about is Franco.
Maybe this weekend, his attention to me, my brothers comments, and how Francoâs been looking at me, has finally sealed what I've been dreading.
Iâve known I like him for a while, but I donât want to ruin us. I canât be embarrassed by my closest friend!
Iâm not an idiot, I see how he flirts with interviewers or even fans. Part of me wants to believe thatâs just his personality, but the other part is screaming at me that he doesnât like me.
His eyes though, he looks at me so deeply that sometimes I feel like I'm apart of some big trick.
âHey,â My brother nudges me, âRace is over.â I snap out of whatever daze I was in and nod, âI gotta pee, go talk to Franco!â
When I look to where he points, Francoâs already looking at me. His race suit is unzipped and he looks so tired. âHi.â He smiles softly but I can tell itâs forced.
âSorry your first race with me sucked.â He frowns, leaning against the little barrier from the garage and friends and family.
âHeyâŠâ I touch his arm briefly, âIt did not suck! And Itâs not your fault. It was scary thoughâŠâ
His eyes look sad and I know itâs not just because he crashed. Franco feels so deeply and this weekend has been especially hard for him. I can tell he sees the worry on my face, âI'm really really happy youâre here. Weâre getting dinner later, right?â
I go to the hotel with JoĂŁo first. We change and meet back at the restaurant. âIâm so hungry!â I groan as we sit down, Franco said he would be here soon but I am not above ordering early.
JoĂŁo sits across from me, âGotta wait for your boyfriend.â
I eye him, âYou better not say anything in front of Franco. I donât want to make him uncomfortable.â He laughs a bit.
âI really donât think I will.â Heâs so ominous today. âI can tell iâm making you uncomfortable though. My only question is⊠why?â
âWhy?â
âWhy canât you accept that you like him? Heâs obviously not going to turn you down. Heâs practically got hearts in his eyes when he talks to you.â The waiter brings water which I gulp down immediately.
âI- No! I canât like him. Heâs my friend.â
âSo youâve said⊠but the best relationships start out that way.â Why is he pushing this so much?
âI just⊠I donât want to ruin our relationship.â.
âFunnyâŠâ he mumbles something, âThat's what he said too.â but I canât hear him because Franco sits and starts saying hello.
Our dinner is amazing, the food is perfect and I canât stop laughing at Franco and JoĂŁo. âYouâve gotta come to a match sometime!â My brother laughs, âThe team would love you.â
Franco grins, âI would be honored! Y/n always talks about your games, youâre pretty good apparently.â This boosts my brother's ego far too much and we end the night while talking about football and childhood stories.
âHe always teased me with his friends!â I roll my eyes at the memory, âThey were all learning Spanish in highschool so I never understood them!â
Franco laughs as JoĂŁo shakes his head, âWhy didnât you take spanish in highschool?â
âI did! I just never caught on. Plus JoĂŁo became fluent after school anyway so his schooling barely helped.â I shrug as Francoâs expression turns odd.
He blinks, looking to JoĂŁo, âYouâre fluent?â
âSi.â He looks almost smug about it as Franco nods slowly, swallowing.
âAsĂ que escuchasteâŠâ (So you heardâŠ)
âTodo.â (Everything) Francoâs smile drops completely at my brothers words. But my brother still carries on with a smile, âEres muy obvio, pero lo apoyo.â (Youâre very obvious, but I support it.)
I frown at their communication that I canât understand, âOkay, can you two stop gossiping? Iâm ready to leave.â Franco smiles at me, nodding slowly as we stand.
Our walk back to the hotel is short and luckily no fans interrupt it. The warmth of the inside makes me smile and the ding of the elevator makes me yearn for my bed.
âUh, Y/n?â I look back at Franco as he talks, âCould I speak to you for a momentâŠâ I look at my brother who nods, a smile still on his face as he disappears behind the elevator doors. âLetâs go outside.â
Itâs no longer raining so we venture out into the hotel's garden. Itâs beautiful with tall plants and trees, a small path that we walk on, and flowers that I've never seen before.
âWhat did you walk to talk to me about?â I turn to him, he looks oddly scared and a bit chilly. He starts to speak but then closes his mouth and thinks, âFrancoâŠ?â
âI like you.â As soon as the words leave his mouth, I freeze, âI really like you and not just as a friend⊠like way more than that.â
I blink, âYouâre kidding?â
The panic on his face is immediate, âNo?â
âShit. Okay!â I realize iâm so caught up in my own world that he probably thinks I donât like him, âI feel the same.â
He breathes out, stepping closer, âYou fucking scared me.â
I smile, not believing this is even real, âYou really like me? Because my brother has been making me feel delusional all day!â He takes my hand in his and I swear my heart skips a beat.
âHe heard me talking about you in spanishâŠâ I raise a brow, âMy engineer was teasing me and I didnât know he spoke it!â I laugh, shaking my head at his story, âBut I'm glad he did. I probably would be sitting in my room all alone if he hadn't.â
I grip his hand tighter, stepping closer, âIâm really glad too. I didnât want to ruin anything but fuck I really like you.â
He grins and leans in, He paused before I nod. Franco presses a kiss to my lips softly, âI canât believe you have a crush on me.â I whisper as groans and rolls his eyes, trying to walk away.
âNo! No taking it back now!â I laugh, pulling him back to me, my hand going to his neck and my lips meeting his, âYouâre stuck with me now.â

⌠Oh Sevika loves watching you try on your dresses. Itâs like having a personal fashion show.
⌠âSpin around for me, Sweetheart. Thatâs rightâŠFuck youâre so beautiful.â
⌠Sheâll pat her lap (your favorite seat) the moment she lays eyes on her favorite dress. She just loves to admire you up close.
⌠She likes feeling the soft fabric that was hugging your body perfectly. It was like every dress was made just for you.
⌠And because of your love for wearing dresses, she came up with a nickname just for you â and it was âPrincessâ
⌠Every time the two of you went out, Sevika made sure to keep an eye on you.
⌠And whenever anyone stops to look at you, sheâll immediately wrap an arm around your waist, pulling you into a kiss.
⌠Sevika was proud to have you all to herself â and she will make everyone aware of it.
⌠But it was as if her gaze always soften whenever she looks at you.
⌠Sheâll have this poker face throughout the day, but the moment you appear in front of her, she couldnât help but smile.
⌠Sevika never understood how and why you were attracted to her in the first place.
⌠You were like a beautiful doll. A treasure that needs to be taken good care of. That was why Sevika was so gentle with you.
⌠She never used her mechanical arm on you just because she was scared to hurt or even scratch you. So whenever the two of you walked side by side, Sevika made sure you were on the side where her real arm was.
⌠âNew dress? Itâs perfect for you, Sweetheart. Do I like it? Oh I love it. Youâre so beautiful, Princess.â
⌠âIâm so glad that youâre all mine.â

Sure! How is everyone doing after the first three eps? I still haven't seen it but the edits I've seen... oh boy.
"I Got You." | Arcane Ladies Headcanons
â°â†PLOT: How the ladies of Arcane(Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Sevika, Mel) act with a socially awkward and/or anxious partner
â°â†WARNINGS: Spoiler Free, On The Shorter Side, Cursing, Not Proofread
âŁ àł Enjoy!⣠àł
JINX
â At first, Jinx didn't get that you were socially awkward. She was used to people being awkward or even scared around her so she thought it was the same case with you until you two got closer.
â After knowing that your awkwardness was just you and not your fear of her, she observed you in social situations and noted what made you more anxious than normal.
â For example, she noticed you're more anxious and timid in bigger, louder spaces but if a space was quiet and quaint, you would be just fine so she often took you to quiet places for dates.
â If Jinx notices you're anxious in places you typically aren't, without a doubt she's removing you from the situation and taking you home where you can relax. No words, just grabs and tugs.
â She's tried the pep talk route before but it ended up in her rambling and somehow planning a terrorist scheme aloud... (yeah, a few patrons quickly left the area after hearing that), so she decided to scrap that idea altogether.
â At home though she would prepare what she calls, "A Safety Nest". It was a place in your shared space that had all your favorite things and trinkets, and she usually kept the space dimly lit and played your favorite music to calm you down.
â In social interactions where you take the lead in conversation, Jinx would quietly encourage you with big, almost alarming smiles and "gentle" pats on your back. Let's face it, Jinx can be socially awkward herself.
â Once the conversation concludes, she'll jump on you proudly, ruffle up your clothing, and pinch your cheeks endearingly all while calling you weird nicknames and quoting what you said while mimicking your tone and cadence.
ââ
VI
â Before you've had your first real conversation together, Vi could sense that you were an anxious individual.
â You fidgeted with your body while speaking, didn't hold eye contact long, and used a decent amount of filler words to casualize your sentences.
â She thought it was endearing to watch you act and move as if you thought no one truly cared about what you were saying or were afraid of boring others but you never bored her. She didn't think it was possible.
â You had tells and quips that revealed themselves with each conversation you two had. You showed more and more of your personality the more you got comfortable with her too. Vi loved it.
â When you spoke to her, especially when you went on tangents about things you were interested in, she always showed signs of active listening by nodding and asking follow-up questions. Even days later, she'll bring up the topic again to see if you have any updates.
â She made you feel seen and heard, something you've subconsciously craved. And when you went on your worry rambles, she consoled you and tried her best to stop you from spiraling.
â You thought about a lot of things and oftentimes about things no one else thought about. Vi thought your brain must've been exhausted with all the worries, doubts, and judgments that were usually wrapped up as others' but were truly your own; it was a lot for one person to handle so she strove to let you know that you were not alone.
â Is there a night you can't sleep because of your racing mind? Vi is there, holding you or reassuring you that everything is going to be okay. She can't sleep until you do anyway so why not speed the process along?
â You often had yourself stuck with your head stressing and worrying about multiple things at once and Vi was always there to bring you down to Earth.
__
CAITLYN
â Caitlyn's an encourager and a comforter with you.
â She's patient and silently allows you to take your time when gathering your thoughts midconversation but she'll also be the one to say, "It's okay, take your time," in the sweetest way possible.
â If there's an instance when you two are out and about and you really want something but are too scared to get it, she'll spring into action and get that thing for you. (Even if it was just a napkin).
â The only time she's frazzled socially is when you both are in an unfamiliar area and need to ask for directions. She'll stumble over her words and try to get someone's attention but they're moving too fast to hear her soft words.
â She'll get frustrated and you end up comforting her, but after a few backrubs, she's ready to try again. Her voice is strong and powerful, and people have no problem hearing her.
â You secretly thank whomever you have to for her determination but there was no way in hell you were going to walk up to a stranger and ask for directions like a tourist... which you were.
â Since Caitlyn's job has her socializing with a lot of people, she can get burnt out easily. Especially if work hasn't been going her way lately but even if she's burnt out and tired, if you seem to be more awkward or anxious than her, she's more than happy to step up socially.
â When you both have someplace to attend to or some event that holds significance, Caitlyn will not hesitate to stage a "social rehearsal" with you. She'll make flashcards of topics you could bring up, you'll both dress accordingly for the event in her living room, and she'll pretend to be an assortment of people so you can get used to different personalities all at once.
â It may seem like this is all for you, but honestly it helps her too. Sometimes she misses the personal cues of conversation leading the other to think she's a black-and-white thinking who has no time for pleasanties. Not true! She's very pleasant... sometimes she's just shy.
â Shyness is not a crime!
â After talking with the host and a few others she has to talk to due to her job, her social battery is depleted. She's extremely thankful you're able to recognize this and suggest leaving early. What would you two do without each other?
ââ
SEVIKA
â Oh, man. This lady found your awkwardness charming as hell.
â Your awkwardness was different than all the nerds and scaly-beings she's forced to be around. You were cute, looked perfect sitting next to her, and your awkwardness, as mentioned before, had a certain charming quality she can't quite place.
â She'll see you in your workplace trying to make casual conversation or small talk but none of your topics seemed to be landing. Your coworkers would give you a thin pressed-lips smile that she wanted to strike off of them to your attempts and then scoff at you behind your back.
â You were authentically yourself and those bastards didn't know what to do with it. They were scared, not her though.
â When you two got closer and comfortable enough with each other that you could tease one another or make playful jabs at the other's expense, no doubt she would tease you about your awkwardness.
â With those gorgeous eyes of yours, you would look everywhere else but her own, prompting her to say, "You know you can look me in the eyes, right? I won't bite", with the stupidest most shit-eating smirk on her face. And then when you look at her, a bit shocked and playfully annoyed, her smirk would only grow. "Unless you want me to."
â Sevika never made your awkwardness seem like a flaw. Your awkwardness came with you and she wanted all of you so she often encouraged your awkwardness.
â If she caught you trying to "reel" it in or realizing that you've talked for a few seconds too long, she'll playfully scold you and tell you to continue or to "let it out". Y'know. As someone who seethes dominance does.
â There would be an instance in which you go to Sevika asking for advice to be "less awkward" and her only response would be, "Why? I like your awkwardness, you don't need to change it. Anyone else who thinks otherwise is a sad loser and don't deserve to be in your life anyways."
â like damnnnn, okay!
â Safe to say you never asked her a question like that again.
--
MEL
â Mel understands your worries about what others think and the awkwardness that can come with it so she likes to help you in any way she can.
â If you're stressed about a council meeting and afraid of what everyone's going to think about the new perspective you'd like to bring to the table, she'll reassure you and tell you she's right by your side.
â If she can't physically with her hand on the small of your back, she give you nods of encouragement, raise her brows proudly, and look at you with that sense of pride and admiration in her golden eyes.
â After the meeting goes well, which she knew would, she'll congratulate you with your favorite drink and a night in doing all your favorite things.
â Even if there were parts in the meeting that were rocky, like the council people asking questions you weren't prepared for or getting rowdy, she'll say you did an excellent job and what you presented will help the people of Piltover.
â Oh, and don't think for a second that she wasn't sending glares and daggers to those who stirred up your anxiety even more. If looks could kill.
â Mel sees that sometimes your awkwardness and anxiety result in people-pleasing and she would shut that down real quick. She's fallen into that dangerous pool before and knows how hard it feels when you disappoint others and how much harder it is to get out of that mindset.
â She can get quite spirited with her encouragement...
â "Well, if they don't like it, that's on them! They don't know something good when they see it." "I've learned that hard way that you can't please everyone. You might as well say what you have to now. They can get over themselves later."
â It's actually quite attractive to see her stand up for you, even if she was standing up for the possibility.
â Always keeping her words in your mind, you find yourself navigating through life easier and you only have her to thank.

on the day the election results got announced, one of my friends wasn't at school. she was the friend that I had the most classes with, and I remember as the hours ticked by the painful knowledge that she wasn't sick, not physically, but that she just couldn't bear to be there that day.
i overheard classmates talking. "how are you?" asked one; in a broken voice, another: "I don't know".
"I'm scared," was the most common sentence I heard that day. "i can't live like this," said someone in the hallway; "we've still got each other," said another in what I desperately wanted to believe was hope.
"I prayed last night for the first time since I was five," said a friend of a friend; I looked out the classroom window at the cloudy sky and wondered if there was a god, and if he had heard them.
I watched people break down crying in the middle of class. by the end of the day, several kids had left school early.
"I need to get out of here," I said to my friends at lunch. "we're not going to make it another four years," said one of them grimly. how dystopian, how orwellian was it that a group of seventeen year olds were so casually discussing their escape from the country they had grown up in, the country that had raised them only to throw them to the dirt before they were even able to vote?
after school i drove to another school for a debate tournament. one of the judges who I hadn't seen in a year and with whom I'd only had one or two conversations came up to me and asked "how are you doing?"
"could be better," I admitted, "but I'm surviving." that was a bit of an understatement; there were tears in my eyes even as I spoke.
"I'm here," she told me, this woman who I hardly knew, and I realized that she was asking because she remembered one of our only interactions, a year ago, where I had casually mentioned being trans--
--and her gaze flitted down to my shoes, where back then I had had beads in the colors of the trans flag, beads that weren't there anymore, not because of any change in myself but that of the world around me.
"I'm here," she said again, and we stared at each other for a few seconds. I managed a "thanks", not trusting myself to say anything else.
that night I went onto Instagram. someone I hadn't spoken to since we fell out over a year ago had texted me a simple "I love you and am with you" type of message. all of my friends and even people I hardly knew were posting about the election, and I remembered
back when Biden was elected, the Republicans I saw online reacted with hatred, disgust, doubt for his abilities
but now all I saw from the ones who had lost this battle was fear
when the other side lost, they had the privilege of hatred
now that we've lost, all we can do is fear.
terrified sixteen, seventeen, eighteen year olds, in flurries of messages to long-gone friends and frantic posts. I had never felt more united, and yet I could not relish in our closeness because I knew it was not the closeness of friends but the closeness of soldiers too young for war, huddling close as their imminent death rained down from the sky, searching for some last comfort at the end of their too-short stories.
"I won't pretend this isn't as bad as it is," I typed out, "honestly I'm freaking scared. But we owe it to ourselves not to let this be the end of our beliefs.
"We still know we're right, even if the government doesn't agree. We're still all in this together.
"Love to everyone who's affected by this. I'm right here with you. Stay safe everyone."
I posted the Instagram story, praying to a god I didn't know that the words were true.
the next night when the house and senate election results came in, I cried, and it was not pretty crying, it was a child wracked with sobs in the dark on the floor of their room because they were only seventeen and terrified for their future.
I spent a long time writing that night, something I do to process my thoughts when everything is too much. I will simply offer this passage, which I think speaks for itself.
"Shall I tell them I am afraid because of the election? Shall I tell them that all day I have felt like a child masquerading as a man, scared of the boogeyman as i am scared of the fascist-like creature whose grasp is tightening and whose claws never cease, closing in on lives like a predator its prey? That I am a child scared of insignificance, of a fate I did not choose, of becoming a meaningless name among many, not of democracy falling but of not being the one who felled it?"
So to everyone celebrating the election, I'm glad that you're happy, truly I am. But I ask you to think of me and my friends, still children, most of us not quite old enough to even have our say in this country, as you laugh and rejoice and mock all of us who you defeated.
How many times must we cry, must we fall, must we watch each other die before enough will be enough?
Will it ever be enough?

yandere genshin men trying to make things right between you
angst, mildly dark themes ayato, neuvillette, pantalone, capitano, dottore, alhaitham
note: trying a new genre.
Neuvillette
Yandere Neuvillette kept forcing you into marriage after your relationship just got established. You asked him to give you some time to think over such radical and responsible change in life, but he was adamant to your pleads. He wanted everything here and now proven officially on the papers. You spent some nights crying because to think that such gentleman-like and solitary person like Neuvillette would force you into marital relationship was eerie. The desire to possess you officially seemed to blind him completely and he went from a loving gentleman to an almost insanely addicted man who did not accept a refusal.
It was your break-time at work when Neuvillette suddenly came up to you. It was odd at first - the judge putting away his duties to meet you seemed almost unbelievable, but remembering how assertive he was in the relationship with you it might have been close to the reality.
âCan I have a moment of your time, love?â He asked you, his hand not reaching to touch you but his gaze was heavy on your face.
âOf course.â
Not longer after the two of you were sitting in the cafeteria - a curious choice for a private conversation. Although you did not deny you seemed much more comfortable in a public place rather than face-to-face with him.
âAbout our marriageâŠâ Neuvillette started, his fingers grazing over his glass of water.
âYou already know my opinionâ, you answered with no emotion. The time to play nice unfortunately came to an end.
But the next response from Neuvillette kind of gave you goosebumps:
âIf I was too harsh on you, I beg of you to forgive me. I have a habit of grasping something dear to me too tightly, and Iâm afraid that I hurt you more than I could possibly imagineâ, he took a pause for a breath and gulped a sip of his crystal clear water. âI genuinely need to know whether or not you still harbour any pleasant feeling towards me?â
âWhat are you saying? Of course I do, NeuvilletteâI admit you were unacceptably rough on me the past few weeks, but it would make me a poor lover if it were to stop me from harbouring affection to you.â
The judge sighed in relief, and then his expression became serious again.
âI would love nothing more than for us to marry, but I realise the circumstances of pushing you too much. Tell me, dear, if you no longer want to proceed in intimate acquiantance with me.â
You shook your head - seems like he was not hearing you. You then took his hand in yours and spelled it again, frankly:
âNo, I want to be with you, wholeheartedly. And the marriage proposal, I shall accept it too.â
Pantalone
When Pantalone kidnapped you for no specific reason, days turned to weeks. You almost forgot about the existence of sunlight as he kept you there like a pretty little porcelain doll for his own amusementâor whatever his nasty reasons might have been.
The last time you tried to escape his gloomy, mysterious castle-like home, you were severely punished for your âbad behaviourâ. Blood dripped down from your chin as you were sitting on the floor of a dark hollow room, chained and bruised by his henchmen. Perhaps he considered it too tacky to touch you with his own hands.
And then he entered. You didn't even want to look at his unapproachable, icy-cold eyes, and simply turned away, your eyes shut and hidden from him.
âHow rough you lookâ, he said with his usual tone which was cold, but at the same time smooth like butter.
You were dehydrated and hungry, thatâs for sure. You wanted nothing more than a warm fuzzy blanket and sweet tea, and forget this nightmare forever.
âWhen was the last time you had a proper meal?â He asked. He knew you never ate his food because youâd consider yourself indebted to him. And you did not want to take anything from this man.
Your face went deadly pale and bewildered when Pantalone dropped on his knees before you and started freeing you from your shackles. His hands were shaking wildly, you could witness how poorly he mastered the lockers due to his stress.
Yet without a single doubt, with no longer time to lose he wrapped his arms around your waist to carry you. His clothes were a little stained with the snow, and a bit of freezing touch made you shiver.
âI will never do this to you anymore. Forgive me. Please, forgive me.â His words that used to be spoken as an order now were slipped from his lips as a request.Â
You were laid in the warmth of the sheets of your own home. The familiar surroundings brought you joy and comfort you never knew youâd forgotten so easily.
âMy butler is cooking a dinner for you in your kitchen.â
He watched the whole time you were eating, guarding you and seeing how desperately you were filling your stomach up. When you finished eating, there was one loud slapâagainst Pantaloneâs face, by your hand. In a normal situation, he would be so angry and furious that the earth would shake of his abhor. But now he was simply taking it.
"I know. I should never have treated you like this. I ignored your wishes and violated your privacy. Iâve done the worst crime to youâI took your freedomâ, he touched the red mark blooming on his cheek from your unexpected punishment. âI wanted to obtain you so much that I ended up hurting you instead.â
Ayato
He was rich to his fingertips. In his world, the only thing he could not have, but wanted to, was you. You found yourself working as his secretary, aesthetically pleasing and always efficient. But Ayato was ruthless; he could never be satisfied, he was always unhappy. The requirements to you were growing day by day, and keeping up the standards seemed an impossible task. His moods were changing like a thunderstorm.
It was a regular day when you were performing your duties that you felt someoneâs presence behind your back. Ayato was not exactly above lurking so he made his presence known after you turned to face him. He did not expect you to turn so rapidly and ended up with his breath tickling against your face.
âY/N, Iâm sorry. I have been too demanding and controlling. My actions driven by raw possessiveness inflicted undesirable effect upon youâ, Ayatoâs words died away, though the expression on his face became even more grim and grave. âYou do not deserve such treatment, any of it.âÂ
You nearly dropped your working papers as you stared at him. Was this man really sincere? How long has he been overthinking about your relationship? It took you just a few seconds to gather your composure and strike him with an indifferent glare.
âItâs always so easy and costs no trouble for you, rich people. You just take what you want without considering either the outcome or other peopleâs feelings. You see people as things, belongings in your possession, and you never have enough.â
At that, Ayato became even more tense, his expression that was mainly seen by the most of people as sweet and gentle, now was an embodiment of darkness. Nevertheless he nodded to you.
âWhat should I do for you to forgive me? Iâm not going to lie and say that I did not think about how harmful my attitude might have been to you for the past month. What think you? Do I even stand a chance?â
âFat chanceâ, you chuckled under your breath. The laugh was almost too bitter rather than sarcastic.
Ayato took your hands in his, his black gloved thumbs rubbing against your skin slightly.
âYouâre like a poison to me. A very addicting one. And the more I see you work for me, the more I want to have you by my side. Not just at a formal eventâŠâ he bit his pale pink lip for a moment. âIâm starting to feel as if Iâd like to see you out of work circumstance, and the thoughts of such impropriety are enough to drive me utterly insane.â
You reciprocated the light squeeze that came from his hands, however yours was less obsessive and more gentle.Â
âIt is a very dangerous thought, Ayato.â
âOh, I can be a very dangerous man. For you, that is.â
Capitano
You were walking in Capitanoâs garden, feeling yourself like a beautiful bird in a golden cage, but in fact you were a princess in a beastâs castle. Once you saw his real face, you kept having nightmares about his skin rotting appearance. This man was scaring you to the bone, and every time you met him, although not very often, you felt how demanding and heavy the gaze of his icy blue eyes was.
You did not see him often, but once a while Capitano requested (no, ordered!) a private dinner with you. The rooms were dimly lit, his loyal butler making preparations to the highest standards as usual, and you - wearing the most luxurious of dresses youâd only be able to peek at in the past. But your face was the odd one as it beared no smile on it. You were gravely terrified by this man who had claimed you as his. And even though you slept in separate rooms, you could not brush the feeling as if he owned you; well, he kind of did, since you dwelt in his mansion.Â
Per usual, you were having a dinner with him at about eight in the evening when Capitano finally spoke. His tone was filled with assertiveness and power, yet the way he was eating, the movements of his hands were elegant enough to remind you of an excellently-educated prince.
âY/N, I need to speak to you.â
You shivered when you heard him, and you let go of the fork. The jingling sound spread across the room which put you even in an unnecessarily bigger predicament.
âYes, sir?â
Capitano hummed - he put his utensils away and looked as if he was carefully choosing his words which was not a habit of his. This Harbinger often talked exactly what he thought and was known for his bluntness. Capitano never beat around the bush and was always straight to the point, and this was one of the personality traits of his that made you feel conflicted. It was both terrifying and worth of respect.
âI want you to stop being scared of me. I want you to see that there is more of me than a horriffic, ugly old beast.â
You gasped: did he just used those unflattering words to himself? It felt so odd and so frustrating.
âWhat feelings do you want me to harbour for you, given our unusual circumstances?â
There was a long pause before Capitano made a sip of his red wine and suggested the following:
âAffection is too much, but could you at least try to be friendly with me? Donât you seeâcanât you see how hard Iâm trying to make your life with me less unbearable?â
Affection⊠friendliness⊠is that what he really needs from you?âyou think.
âIâm a prisoner here, I cannot imagine how I am supposed to show any warm feelings towards you. It would be fake and stupid.â
âThen make them not fake and stupid.â Capitano raised from the table and stormed out of the dining room, leaving you alone in the dim light of candles.
Dottore
You woke up on the plain lab bed, still restrained but this time your pain was drastically diminished. When you opened your eyes the lights did not cut your sight right away and you realised that the room was only dimly lit. You sighed in relief - perhaps he went on a break and you had a few moments of rest from his constant analysis and experiments upon your body.
There were a few tattoos on your hands but too small to even understand their meanings. Perhaps it was something from Zandikâs past that he decided to ruthlessly carve on you.
Your happiness and sense of relief did not last long though, as the man who called himself Doctor entered the room not exactly quietly.Â
âLook whoâs alive. Iâm gladâ, he wrote something on his notes, âvery glad, even.â
âWhat are you going to do to me next? Turn me into⊠abomination?â You attempted to sound sarcastic even though all your being was screaming inside. âIâm pretty sure you have not gotten your fill yet out of me.â
Dottore abruptly stopped writing and dropped his journal on the lab desk next to you.
âI think weâre finished here.â
âWhat?â
âI said youâre free to goâ, he cut your leather restraints with one rough motion that had a vibe of uncertainty of the soul.
You looked at your hands, your body cheered welcoming freedom, but at the bottom of your heart you were perplexed.
âBut why?â
Dottore did not utter a single word more, with his face buried into his other records, he turned away from you completely ignoring your presence.
You found your clothes tidy and repaired on the chair, and put them on quickly. Upon escaping the place you saw that not a single Fatui agent was preventing you from leaving. You looked at the lab once more and a pang of strange kind of sorrow appeared in your heart. Perhaps, you should pay him a visit once youâre recovered? Or was it a bad idea?..
Alhaitham
The nerdy scholar was quite possessive and jealous. He had a very curious but rather depressive personality. You thought him a quiet man until one extraordinary and terrific experience.Â
Alhaitham locked a man in the library for the whole night after he saw him giving you too much attention and you happily reciprocating him. An innocent friendly conversation seemed a blunt flirt to him. He could not bear the thought you having affection to someone else who was not him. When he saw you first he realised that he wanted you to see only him, and give all your attention to him. He craved to see you wanting his company, clinging to him or even agreeing to date him. But since his personality was too aloof and he never ever attempted to simply ask you out, but kept staring at you from the side, stalking unnoticeably and gather all information about you, you never had a chance to learn of his true feelings. Behind his obsession there had to be something, as such strong feelings never came out of nowhere.
Upon seeing you chat with that guy Alhaitham grew so furious that he almost not giving it a thought just slammed the door with the poor guy in the library and left him there for the whole damn night. Blinded by his jealousy, he did not even consider how youâd feel about that. The next morning you were perplexed by the sudden disappearance of your classmate, and once the library opening time came, the student was finally released.
âHow could you do this to him? To anyone?â You asked Alhaitham; it did not take much time to learn whose fault was that.
âHow could I?â He asked you back, his expression grave and unmoveable as if he were not interested in a single thing in the world. âHow could you spend so much time with him? Heâs a total jerk.â
âJudging by what you did the total jerk is you! How could you simply lock the person up? Are you insane?â
Alhaithamâs patience started to grow thinner. He squeezed his hands into the fists so hard that his knuckled turned snow-white.
âAre you stupid? You really donât see how I feel about you? And you keep being so nice to everyone but me. Youâre obviously ignoring me.â
Bewildered, yet you finally understood the root of the case. You stared at him for a few seconds before checking if anyone was near to eavesdrop. Luckily, there was not a soul around so you spoke honestly:
âIf you wanted to woo me, endangering someone was not a good idea. You did something I deem unacceptable. And such unacceptable actions will only make me like you less, Alhaitham.â
Alhaitham leaned closer, his voice was a gentle whisper.
âRight? Then teach me to woo you properly. Iâll do thousands of attempts to win you over, no matter the cost.â You pressed your hands against his shoulders to prevent him from getting into closer proximity with you, and Alhaitham, although not completely willingly, but still backed off.

Hello sweet toxic! May I pretty please have an age gap fic or drabble with game version of Jackson Joel ( my favorite long and grey haired man )!
Maybe something where in the beginning Joel comes off as shy and nervous and sweet but once he and reader get together heâs got the nastiest fucking mouth sheâs ever heard once heâs confident that she likes him as a love interest
parts
JOEL x f!READER | 1.8k
"He scanned you head to toe, then let out an alright fine sigh. 'Tonight, ya can leave any time. Yaâainât mine yet, so ya donât gotta do anything I say...'"
NOTES: Hi sweet nonnie â€ïž I watched some tlou 2 gameplay for this, so I hope it helped. idk if I met the "love" interest part but she makes her interest known. Joel is quiet, then dom / dirty
WARNINGS: 18+ Age gap (Joel 60s/reader 20s-40s), objectification of reader, slutty descriptions of men as usual. Joel calls her "honey" and one time, "little girl" (condescending). Beginnings of D/s dynamic, no arrangement, no consummation. Joel holds out, a little grumpy/mean. talk of being owned. degradation, praise, body/pussy inspection.
He stood like a man who no one could bother. Stone cold and solid, with a face that always meant business. His clothes were rugged and worn-in like a cowboy, and the obscenity of his tight jeans left nothing to the imagination, from the back or the front.
The first time you became aware of him, it was from behind, and you did a double take. He ran a hand down the back of his head, smoothing his shoulder-length mane with his other hands on his hip. He was talking to Tommy, and when you heard his voice, the twang put you at ease. He sounded like a nice guy, nicer than he looked.
Your first time at the mess hall, he was kind enough to show you around. You took that as a go-ahead to follow him around anywhere. You began to watch him around Jackson. Not exactly stalking him, but you didn't have anyone else to latch onto. You learned where he went, and you happened to go there too. You were full of questions about how things worked. He always took it seriously. He was a good teacher and didnât seem interested in anything but helping you when you wanted help.
He taught you how to ride a horseâhe must not have noticed you arrived on one. Your loins buzzed as he demonstrated how to sit. His big hands on the reins and the horn were enough to make you wet, but the bulge of his jeans and the way it shifted as he started off at a slow walk. âNow look close, okay? See how I hold it?â You were looking very close.
He taught you how to shoot. Stood behind you and you never felt more safe than holding a pistol with his arms around yours, his chest against your back.
âAttagirl,â he said when you shot the glass bottle target. âLook at that,â he marveled.
To be fair, you werenât (just) trying to get him in bed. You had lost your traveling party and you joined another one but you felt like the odd one out. It never felt like you had someone to look out for you, specifically you. You hadnât felt the affection or encouragement of a big, capable man in a long time.
Still, there was no denying you had a crush on him. It felt like a shock that he didnât have women following him around in droves, until you got to know him and found out he was pretty shy. He didnt't seem to have much interest in anything but practicalities and survival. He was sweet, but never crossed a line.
Even when you started crossing some yourself. He took you on an errand one day, and he was buckling in your seatbelt, and you stopped is hand. You put his hand on your thigh, and watched his face. He kept the same, composed expression, but he couldnât hide the blush that rose to his cheeks. He left his hand there on your thigh for a moment, then pulled away without acknowledging your move. The time it took him to move his hand made you think he liked it there. It was as though he didnât want to take it the wrong way, wasn't sure your intentions. He cleared his throat, finished buckling you in, and ran his hand over his smooth, gray hair. It was always so well-kept. You had to wonder what itâd look like first thing in the morning,
One night, at the tipsy bison, you came in by yourself in a short dress. He looked you up and down and gave you a curious look, but didnât acknowledge you. He was talking to Tommy. Tommy craned his neck to get a look, raised his eyebrows, and gave you a nod before grinning at his brother and resuming their conversation. Tommy was hot, too, but he was taken. Otherwise youâd love to see him in nothing but that ponytail. You sat at the other end of the bar and Joel tried not to look at you, but Tommy gave you a wink.
Another night, you showed up to the mess hall too late for dinner, and he was on his way out. He lived close enough and offered to make you something at his place, no problem.
When you came inside, you took off your boots, he took your coat, and when he finished hanging it up, he looked back to see you in a thin, low cut shirt and no bra. His mouth hung open and you gave him a flirtatious smile, as though to say, what?
âYaâainât cold, are ya?â He asked with a pink hue creeping up his neck. He rubbed his beard.
âNo, are you?â You asked.
âNo,â he muttered, then composed himself and went to the kitchen alone.
When he came to serve dinner, your eyes were on his jeans. The heft of his manhood was always apparent, but there seemed to have been some growth in the time since youâd been at his house. You leaned over the table as you ate your meal, and he tried to keep his eyes off your chest. It was a small, round table, and there wasnât much of anywhere else to look. He looked at his meal as he ate. You looked at his forearms.
After he finished eating, he dabbed each corner of his mouth with his napkin, folded it, dabbed his beard, and cleared his throat. Meanwhile, your foot nudged his ankle. His face darkened. Your foot moved up his pants, and reached the seat of his chair. He didnât bat your foot away, but he didnât look at you until your foot slid right up his thigh and gently nudged the hard bulge in his jeans.
His strong chest heaved, and he didnât make a move, but his face was reddening as he cleaned his hands with the same napkin.
He looked up as he finished wiping his hands. âThink Iâm your plaything, little girl?â He harshly smacked the cloth napkin down on the table, then his strong hand wrapped around your entire foot in his lap. His eyes darkened with a forward tilt of his head, and his voice took on an edge. âOr you tryinâ to be mine?â
You rubbed your lips together and looked at him fondly. He raised his eyebrow to prod for a response.
âWanna be yours,â you answered matter-of-factly.
âYou dunno what you want, girl.â He pushed your foot away, then adjusted himself.
When he stood up to take the dirty dishes, the silhouette in his jeans made you throb. He did the dishes, and when he was finished, he opened a beer.
He walked through the dining area on his way to the living room. âStill here,â he muttered, but didnât stop to talk. He sat down on the sofa and turned on the radio, not inviting you to join him.
You joined him anyway.
You sat on the sofa, not too close, with your hands folded in your lap.
âYou wanna know what it means to be mine?â Joel asked.
âYes, please,â you answered.
âIt means I own you,â he said.
âOkay,â you agreed. âIâm yours.â
He looked at you skeptically. "Iâainât agreed to own ya yet,â he clarified. "Ain't just something ya do. Takes work from both'a us."
"of course," you acknowledged.
âGotta know itâs somethinâ ya really want, and if it is, weâll agree on some rules, safe words and shit.â
âOkay,â you agreed excitedly.
He scanned you head to toe, then let out an alright fine sigh. âTonight, ya can leave any time. Yaâainât mine yet, so ya donât gotta do anything I say, okay?â
You nodded.
âBut later on if ya *are* mine, you do what I say, when I say it.â
He was so serious and official about this, it sounded like he was briefing his men for some kind of operation.
âOkayâ you agreed.
"so what's it mean to be mine?" He asked.
you shrugged. "You do what you want with me."
He nodded hesitantly.
âIt means I take care'a ya, protect ya, and I own your body. it ainât yours anymore,â he looked you up and down. âItâs mine,â he stated emphatically. â*if* I decide I want it.â
âWhy wouldnât you?â You asked.
He blew out air through puffed cheeks as if there was a long list.
âAinât got patience for brats.â
âI can be good,â you promised.
âAinât got patience for tears either. Too distracting out here, still gotta focus on survivin'.'
You tried not to show your worry.
âAinât sure ya can handle it,â he admitted
"Ainât lookin to break in some tight little pussy while she cries and bleeds, either.â he cocked an eyebrow at you, and grabbed the massive protrusion in his jeans. âThis ainât no joke, honey. I donât wanna hurt ya.â
âIâm not a virgin,â you insisted.
âYeah? Well ya better fit four fingers 'fore ya 'spect me to try it."
âAnd I promise Iâll do what you say.â
Joel sighed. âAlright, take your clothes off.." He held up his hands to acknowledge your freedom "OR leave, and weâll forget this ever happenedâ
You obediently stripped.
He took sips of his beer as he watched your body emerge from your clothes. âAlright,â he nodded. âGood girl.â
Once you were bare naked, he instructed you to turn around. You did just as he asked.
âGod damn,â he whispered. âNow, câmere.â
With him manspreading on the sofa, he made you stand between his knees and bend over.
âSpread your pussy for me,â he demanded.
You hesitated.
âDonât have to,â he reminded you.
You reached back and tried to do it with one hand, one finger on each side of the lips. âLike this?â
âBoth hands, darlinâ. â
You spread your pussy lips for him with both hands.
âGood girl,â he said. âWide as ya can. Wanna see your parts if theyâre gonna be mine.â
You pulled wider
He let out a low whistle. âJuicy little thing. Sure would like to use it...But Iâm thinkinâ it might not fit, honey.â
âWhy donât you try it?â You asked.
You turned around and tried to straddle him. He visibly tensed. You reached for the bulge in his jeans.
He snatched your wrist to stop you. âYou donât get to touch me without askinâ,â he admonished you. âNotice I didnât touch you that whole time?â
Your face heated in shame, and his hand loosened. You got off of him.
âThatâs enough for tonight,â he said. âIâll think about it.â
âYouâll think about it? â
âIâll think about it.â
Your eyes were tearing up.
âYa did good, honey, itâs okay,â he promised. He picked up your clothes and helped dress you. âJust ainât the kinda choice ya make on the fly. You gotta think about it too, okay?â
You finished getting dressed and nodded.
âIâll think about it too,â you agreed.
âGood girl,â he answered, rose to his feet, and gave you a kiss on the forehead. Then he got your coat and opened the door. As you began to leave, he stopped you, âHey,â he lowered his voice. âYa got a beautiful body. Anyoneâd be lucky to own it.â

When the Shouto Todoroki saves you and your kindergarten students at the aquarium during a villain attack, you can't seem to get him out of your head. Bonus: you're quirkless and he's a pro hero, so you live in two different worlds. The glue? His cute nephew that's obsessed with rocks and that just so happens to be in your kindergarten class.
In short: You've become obsessed, you suppose. But that's all right, you're not the only one that's obsessed.
WARNING: I cooked so get ready for a long chapter >:)
1 - I'm Obsessed With You
'Two, four, six... sixteen!' Counting the little yellow hats waddling around the jellyfish exhibit, you make a mental headcount of all of your students. Sixteen little kindergarteners with bold personalities and big hearts all under your care. As their kindergarten teacher and chaperone for the monthly field trip, it was your duty to keep an eye out of all of them.
You were quirkless, but you've accepted it.
You knew that you would never become a hero, and that was okay. You would never be like All Might or the young student hero Deku during the war.
But that was okay.
People still respected you. The convenience store ladies would applaud you when you would tell them your job. 'A kindergarten teacher? Sounds fun!' You family loved you all the same and your friends still invited you to the izakaya bar near the station.
And being a kindergartener teacher was fun. Nurturing the children was your passion, and caring for them came like second nature.
Rounding up the children and having them form a line, you led them to the next exhibit. "Alright! Does anyone remember what exhibit we are going to next?" A chorus of "me! me! me!"s filled the area as you led the group to an outdoor area of the massive aquarium. Scanning over all sixteen children, you call out a student's name. "Himari-chan! Do you know?" The bubbly girl with twin braids eagerly nods her head. "Mhm! Mhm! The penguins!" "Very good!"
The sound of honking and chirping fills your ears, a definite sign of the marine animals. Stopping, you clear your throat and turn around to face the children.
"Alright kids, would you like to explore the exhibit?"
"Yes Y/N-sensei!"
"Okay, find your pair and stay in this room. I will call everyone once it is time for us to move on." You watch all sixteen of your students start finding their buddy and splitting up. They were responsible children that knew not to run off on their own and to go to you when they needed the toilet. As the last pair went off to join majority of the students at the emperor penguin's area, you walk towards the sound of chirping.
Walking closer to the Adelie penguins exhibit, you spot two yellow hats in the same area. Upon further inspection, you recognize them to be Kaoru and Taro, huddled close together as to not get separated.
"Kaoru-kun, Taro-kun, do you like the Adelie penguins?"
Taro, the taller one with rosy cheeks and brown hair nods enthusiastically. In contrast, the white-haired Kaoru just stares at you with his usual blank expression. However, the shorter one's eyes seem to sparkle despite his nonchalant look. 'Ah', you recall, 'he must be excited about the rocks because of his rock collection'.
ââ§Â°đȘâĄđ°â§â
Kaoru Todoroki was a quiet boy. The five-year-old was respectful and completed all of his tasks at school. He never fought and always participated in the activities and games during recess. However, he preferred not to talk and would just observe everyone. On the occasion that he would talk to you, he would only talk about one thing: his rock collection -> "Kaoru-kun! How was your Christmas?" "Good, Y/N-sensei. My oji-san took me camping and got me rocks for my collection." "Oh wow! That sounds like a lot of fun!" -> It was so nice that the little boy had something he enjoyed despite his cold demeanor. He didn't seem to be abused either: you had met his father, Natsuo Todoroki, at the first day of school orientation. He was a pediatrician who was pretty nice and always greeted you whenever he picked Kaoru up. Just like the rest of the world, you knew who your student was related to. A last name that carried high respect and esteem, you could only wonder why his parent decided to enroll him into your kindergarten. However, you didn't mind it at all. ââ§Â°đȘâĄđ°â§â
"Do you boys know why the penguins collect the rocks?" They shake their head in sync. You crouch down and point at two Adelie penguins in the corner.
"Adelie penguin boys give a girl penguin a rock because he loves her. He wants to give her a special rock because he thinks that she is so special. When he gives her the rock, the girl penguin will thank him and put the rock in her nest, right there!" You direct their attention to several pebble-nests in the same area. "When she lays eggs, the boy and girl Adelie penguins will keep them warm so they can hatch safely! They are now all cozy like a little happy family. Do you understand?" You stifle a laugh to yourself when you notice the awestruck expressions on both students' faces. Turning around, you look at the other students wandering around the room, doing a head count to make sure that everyone is there. 'Two, four, six, eight...'
But before you can reach sixteen, the sound of glass shattering interrupts you. Right where Kaoru and Taro were, a villainous man breaks the glass barrier between people and the Adelie penguins. Honking and chirping sounds ring through your ears, your heart thumping frantically in your chest. 'A villain!? Poacher!? On field trip day!? But there aren't any heroes around!' Some of the aquarium staff on duty rush to the masked man,
but more glass shatters and they're knocked onto the floor, unconscious.
Pushing Kaoru and Taro and behind you, you instinctively cross your arms into the shape of an 'x' and shield your face from the villain. You hiss at sharp glass shards bouncing off your skin, small cuts forming.
"Stop! Please!"
Three more masked people enter the room. The man takes no mind to your pleas and instead barks orders to what you think are his subordinates in another language. The three men each begin restraining you, an elderly woman, and a couple with rope. You can hear the other kids crying in the back, all huddled together.
This wasn't good.
Trying to fight back, you jab your elbow into one of your assailants and your foot at another. However, they were much stronger than you and quickly pinned you down.
And then there was ice.
A massive sheet of ice appears and freezes over the main villain. You catch a glimpse of red and white hair, your eyes widening at the sight. Only one man could have that distinct color.
It seems like Shouto Todoroki, number 3 hero in all of Japan, is saving you right now. Ensuring that the masked man is secured, he makes quick work of his minions. A kick here, some ice there, a sprinkle of fire. It was all a blur. The next thing you knew, his nimble fingers easily removed your binds and scanned your body.
"Miss, are you alright?"
And just like that, you were hooked. God, his voice, his physique, his care, you just melted at his feet. He wasn't Japan's hottest hero for nothing, and he sure was living up to that. It takes you a while to snap out of your daze (embarrassing), but thankfully he had time to wait. His team was helping the elderly woman and couple, already checking if they had sustained any injuries. Turning your eyes back to his majestic face, you notice his eyebrows furrow slightly. His larger hand gently grabs yours and you wince. Confirming his suspicions, he spots your arms littered in cuts and your left wrist slightly bruised. "You're injured. Are you able to stand up?" You can stand up just fine and offer a polite smile.
"Yes, thank you so much Pro Hero Shouto! I appreciate the concern but I need to check my students, so-" "Red Riot is already checking up on them. I can promise you, ma'am, that they are in good hands." That professional tone was going to kill you, and apparently it did kill your voice, so you swallowed and wordlessly nodded. The pro hero sits you down on a bench and pulls out a bandage roll from his suit.
"I apologize for the poor substitute of a brace. The ambulance is on its way." You watch him kneel down and pray that he doesn't notice the (furious) redness painted on your cheeks. Shouto respectfully takes your arm and bandages it, careful not to apply to much pressure. You admire his hands, large, rough, and calloused, no doubt from his quirk and hero work. It was admirable (and certainly handsome). As he finishes up, he gets ready to say something when sixteen little yellow hats crowd you and him.
Ritsu, the youngest and smallest out of all of your students, is the one to cry first.
As she bawls her eyes out, you reach out to her. "Hey, Ritsu-chan, it's o-" You wince as a bolt of pain crawls up your right arm momentarily, and that causes her to cry harder. Just like that, most of the kindergarteners begin crying. Red Riot, another famous and good pro hero, walks up with a sheepish expression. "Sorry Miss! I promise that I only turned around for one second, but they all ran to you!" He turns to Shouto after. "Shouto, the ambulance is here and the medics are running in." He nods and turns back to you, giving you a soft nod. Clearing your throat, you address your students.
"Is everyone alright? Is anyone hurt?"
"You, Y/N-sensei!" You smile warmly, heart touched by theirs.
"Don't worry about me. I'm okay. You all are so brave for not panicking when the villain came and instead stayed together. Can we say thank you to pro heroes Red Riot and Shouto?"
"Thank you, Red Riot and Shouto!"
The red-head hero grins in response, and you watch Shouto's unreadable expression shifted into a soft smile.
"It's no problem at all. Now, can I ask that you all stay with Red Riot while I help your sensei?" All in awe at the popular heroes, they nod and eagerly bombard Red Riot with questions. You chuckle to yourself but notice Shouto's gaze focused on your injuries. As he walks you to the medics, you chirp up.
"It really doesn't hurt that bad, I promise." He shakes his head, "Excuse me." Before you can respond, he abruptly picks you up and sits you on the edge of the open ambulance. '!?!' Your cheeks flare up again.
His gaze never leaving yours, two female medics quickly check up on you and properly bandage you up. One of them gently applies ice to your wrist and smiles at you. "Name, please?" "L/N, Y/N." "Alright, thank you L/N-san for being patient! Your wrist is minorly sprained, so we're using ice to help with the swelling. Please ice it when you get home and be careful not to put pressure or overwork it. Your forearms are minorly cut but should heal per usual. Do you have any quirks or conditions such as pregnancy that we need to be aware of?" "Ah, no." You see the handsome man observing you, his eyes widening in slight shock as he listens to what you tell the medic. He remains silent as the other one chimes in. "Alright! L/N-san, you are good to go!" "Thank you very much!" Shouto helps you down to ensure that you don't use your wrists again and bows to the ladies. They wave at the two of you in a friendly manner and start closing up the ambulance.
As Shouto walks you back, you can't help but admire him. He's tall. Unfairly tall. He towers over your body, no doubt almost or at six feet. His skin is fair and porcelain, and his muscular biceps are noticeable (definitely something to drool on about) His scar most definitely complements his facial features. You also notice that his cheeks are slightly plushy, round and definitely soft if one were to touch it. It was... kind of cute.
He ushers you back into the entrance of the aquarium where his team, all civilians, and all staff were gathered. You spot your students and instinctively want to run to them, but with a warm hand hovering behind the small of your back, you stay put next to the pro hero. You expect all of your students to run to Shouto, to bother him with questions,
But Kaoru runs to you and him.
"Oji-san!" The little boy hugs Shouto's leg, his ivory hair only reaching the man's waist. You melted at the sight, knowing that it was rare to get social interaction or even touch from Kaoru. 'Cute!'
Wait...
SHOUTO TODOROKI WAS THE UNCLE THAT HE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT?!?
"My oji-san got me another box for my rock collection for my birthday."
"My oji-san got me a fossil from America."
"My oji-san snores a little in his sleep."
"My oji-san took me camping and got me rocks for my collection."
You obviously knew that your student was related to Japan's Hottest Hero somehow, but you didn't realize that he was his direct nephew! What's more, you didn't realize how close the two really were, and it was so sweet and endearing to see Kaoru so out of his shell. Right now, the five-year-old was blabbing to his uncle, telling him all about the Adelie penguins today and asking if you were alright and if he was going to come home for dinner.
And Shouto? He looked so focused on the little boy, so amused, and so soft. As he talks with his nephew, you notice that some parents have already arrived, looking for you. Walking away from your savior and student, you politely greet the parents and lead them to the children, all being entertained by Shouto's team. The mothers all fawn and worry over your injuries. "You're hurt, L/N-sensei?" "Oh no!" "Thank goodness you're safe!" After about 30 minutes, the fifteen other children are all with their families and gone from the aquarium. In the horizon, the sun has already begun to set, its golden hue mixed with purple and orange.
You're a little surprised to still see Shouto and Kaoru. He already talked to the police and dismissed his coworkers, so what was he still doing here? Walking up to the pair, you look down at Kaoru. "Kaoru-kun, were you surprised that your oji-san came today?" "Mhm!" "Awesome! I'm glad that you were! I was definitely surprised." Your heart beats rapidly as you shoot a smile at his uncle. To your surprise, he smiles back (be still, my poor heart!). Standing back up, you talk to Shouto.
"I can't thank you enough, Shouto-san. You really came at the perfect time."
"It is no problem at all, L/N-san. I apologize for not arriving sooner."
"Aw! Don't worry about it! All that matters is that my kids are safe." You notice him look at you a little curiously when you refer to your students as 'my kids.' Laughing slightly to yourself, you clarify.
"My students are my livelihood and teaching is my passion. I would be absolutely heartbroken if one of them got injured, not as a teacher but as myself." You playfully wink at the pro hero's nephew, his cheeks turning pink slightly because he knows what you are going to say. "Kaoru-kun is a pleasure to have and I am thankful that he is in my class." Shouto nods and ruffles his nephew's ivory hair. Kaoru whines in response. "Oji-san!" When the tall man laughs at the five-year-old, you choke on your breath. "I am glad that Kaoru is behaving, and I'll pass your sentiments along to his father when I drop him off later." He glances at your wrist before continuing. "Do you need help going home, L/N-san? I can drop you off." You shake your head in response. "It's alright! The station is right there and I live one station away." His beautiful eyes observe your face, a hint of worry evident in his jaw-dropping face. Letting out a sigh, he nods.
"Alright, but please be safe and get help if you need."
"Mhm! Thank you."
You bow to him and glance at Kaoru. "Kaoru-kun, have a good weekend, okay?" "Okay, Y/N-sensei. Bye bye." Smiling, you walk to the subway station.
ââ§Â°đȘâĄđ°â§â
Unlocking the door to your apartment with your good hand, you lock the door behind you and slump down at the entrance. Today's events have just begun sinking and marinating in your mind.
"Oh. My. God."
Glancing at your left wrist, you bite your lip. 'Gosh, I hope it heals before Monday so I can return to normal.' Standing up again, you trod over to the fridge and open it. Inside, you grab leftover fried rice from breakfast and put it in the microwave. As you wait for it, you instantly think of Japan's Hottest Hero, the man that saved you, and then your cheeks seem to catch on fire.
'Oh my God, I just met him and I'm already obsessed!!'
ââ§Â°đȘâĄđ°â§â
A/N: Whew! What a mess! Thank you all for reading the first part of 'Obsessed' and I hope that you enjoyed it!! (˶ᔠᔠá”˶) I love pro hero Shouto and his family so writing his little nephew Kaoru was THE CUTEST THING EVER!! Fun fact: His hyper fixation on collecting rocks reflects my own younger brother's dinosaur hyper fixation (like many other young boys).
I promise that Shouto's POV will also cook once I get that started and ready for you (Ë¶Ë á” Ë˶) so I hope that you look forward to that! In the meantime, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone's support throughout my Tumblr journey so far! My recent work received a lot of support and love, and I am truly grateful for everyone đ„șđ«¶đ»I really think that I have been cooking this November (and the last few days of October), so hopefully you all feel the same!

"hey, babe, have you seen my shirt? you know, the grey one with the loose neck? i thought i- oh."
"huh? what was that?", you asked as you took out an earbud, turning to look at the boy who'd been trying to call your attention.
chuckling, he rounded the kitchen island to reach your side, hands practically attaching to your waist like magnets as he aided you in removing the other earbud, placing both on the counter next to you.
"i was just wondering where my band tee went, but i think i have my answer," he chuckled, pressing a sweet peck to your temple.
"oh, fuck. sorry, josh. do you want it? i can go change," you went to disconnect from him, but he wasnt having it, instead nuzzling his head on your shoulder.
"hm. it smells of my cologne still," he said almost to himself, "you don't have to take it off. i like you in my clothes," he reassured.
you could only scoff.
"your clothes are baggy on me. just like all my other clothes. what difference does it really make?"
joshua shrugged, "just like knowing you're wearing something of mine. you're style's cute. you're cute."
"flattery will get you everywhere, hong," you laughed.
it was one of those nice, domestic moments that occurred every so often. you basked in it, enjoying it before the two of you went back to your regular days.
it wasn't until later that you started to think about what you'd said to joshua earlier.
you did have a tendency to wear baggier clothes. hell, there really was no difference between wearing something of his and a piece of your own. it was incredibly rare for you to show skin or any sort of silhouette, and those instances were really reserved for nights too warm to handle in which you had to opt for some shorts and a tank top.
but even then, you went for looser ensembles. clothes that showed your figure were never really your forte.
you couldn't help but wonder if this ever bothered josh. would he have preferred if your style varied more? what if he thought of you as a prude? maybe he-
"what's got you thinking so loud?", the boy in question interrupted your inner turmoil.
you hadn't realized as you sat in front of your vanity, face wash in hand and still unused, that you'd frozen in place as you thought. his presence in the restroom hadn't registered until he spoke.
"just, uh," you pondered as to whether or not to voice your concerns, but his compassionate smile reflecting on the mirror made you decide, "i was thinking that maybe you'd like it better if i dressed differently? you know, maybe show more skin?"
you voiced it as a question, insecurities building in you as you sought a direct expression of his preferences.
"are you kidding? i like how you dress. and it's not really something that bothers me. you're comfortable and you're beautiful. it's a win-win situation for me," he kind of chuckled as he spoke, finding your question very sudden and unnecessary.
"oh."
you felt a bit dumb now.
"has this been worrying you? you know i'm like obsessed with you, right? you could wear a trash bag and i'd still be as obsessed," he joked, closing in on you similarly to how he'd done earlier in the day.
he finished his statement with a kiss pressed to your lips, humming when you kissed back.
"this just gives me free reign of your closet. i hope you know that," you jested.
"baby, i'm rich. take whatever you want."

SEASON 4 PART 2 SPOILERS!!!!
Request: @motherlanaenthusiast âSo what if we do a Rafe x Maybank!reader where like maybe she was in morocco but she wasnât with JJ when he died cuz she was doing smthn else so like they all have to break the news and that happens and then when like after when theyâre back at Kildare Rafe like gets deja vu from s1&2 him because he sees reader going kinda crazyâ
Summary: Rafe is the only person to save Y/N from a downward spiral.
AN: I will NEVER forgive the writers for this lol I went on a tangent with this one
The sun was blistering and casting a golden hue over the winding alleyways in Morocco. Rafe Cameron and Y/N Maybank moved through the maze of alleyways, their steps quick and purposeful, yet filled with a tension that spoke of something much deeper than their immediate surroundings.
Y/N was JJ Maybankâs twin sister, a spitfire with a wild heart who had once been the center of Rafeâs secret world. The two had shared a tumultuous fling, a secret affair that had started four years ago under the cover of darkness and ended just as abruptly. It was a relationship neither had ever fully acknowledged. Rafe was a Kook, while Y/N, like her brother JJ, was a Pogue, tale as old as time.
The shop was quiet, the group off to Charleston to follow the next clue. Y/N stayed behind to wait for her brother after he had wandered off ârunning errands.â The bell above the door jingled, and the soft sound broke through the silence.
Y/N was leaning against the counter, staring at her phone screen, scrolling through all the unread text messages to her brother.
"How can I help you?" she asked absently, not looking up from her phone.
She looked up and her breath got caught in her throat, the smile on Rafe Cameron's face grating against the air. He stood at the entrance, hands tucked casually in his pockets, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, keeping her tone even, though the familiar tension in her chest began to build. Sheâd never been able to shake the feeling of unease around him. Not since everything went down with Pope, the fight that ended whatever it was they had.
"Can't I just stop by and visit my local surf and bait shop?" Rafe said, taking a step inside, his eyes glinting mischievously.
Her eyes narrowed slightly. "You looking for Sarah?"
He shrugged nonchalantly. "Actually, yeah. I'm looking for Sarah."
She shook her head, setting the phone down with a soft click. "She doesnât want to talk to you."
Rafe raised an eyebrow, the smirk still in place. "I think I can have a chat with my sister whenever I want."
"Not if she doesn't want to talk to you." Her words were firm, but there was a slight quiver in her voice that betrayed her more complicated feelings.
Rafeâs smirk didnât falter as he took a few more steps forward, closing the distance between them. He placed his elbows on the counter, leaning in closer, the sudden proximity catching her off guard.
"I'm sorry about the drama at the beach the other day," he said, his voice lowering in an almost sincere tone. "With Ruthie and the turtles."
She didnât respond right away, trying to keep her emotions in check. She could feel the weight of his words, but it didnât change anything. Rafe was sorryâsorry for the mess he had created, maybe, but never for the things that had truly mattered.
"Donât act like you care, Rafe," she replied, her voice steady despite the knot tightening in her stomach. "You only care about how things affect you. And I guess now Sofia."
He stared at her for a long moment, his gaze growing intense. The years of tension between them seemed to hang in the air, unresolved and unspoken. Then he said, his tone soft but firm, "We used to be so close, Y/N. What happened?"
She sucked in a breath, trying to push down the anger, the hurt, the past. "The drugs happened," she said slowly, her voice low. "Ward happened. Your anger happened."
His eyes darkened for a second, his jaw tightening. He opened his mouth to say something, but he closed it just as quickly. After a long, weighted silence, he took a half step back, his expression softening, just a little.
"Iâm on your side, you know," he said quietly, the words almost a whisper, as though they were too important to rush. "I always have been."
The words hung between them, charged and heavy with meaning. She didnât know what to say to that. She hadnât known what to say to Rafe since the day heâd walked away, leaving everything torn apart in his wake.
Before she could respond, Rafe straightened, brushing his hand across his forehead as if clearing his thoughts. He turned toward the door, his back to her now. "Iâll be seeing you around," he muttered over his shoulder, the door swinging open as he left without another word.
Now, as they weaved through the ancient Moroccan city, they were older, scarred by the years of treasure hunts, betrayals, and broken friendships.
âSomething doesnât feel right,â Y/N said, stopping suddenly, her dark eyes scanning the shadowed alleyways. She had always been the one with the sixth sense, the one who could feel trouble like a storm on the horizon.
Rafe turned to her, his brow furrowed. âWhat do you mean?â
But before she could answer, they heard Kiaraâs voice, shrill and desperate, cutting through the noise of the bustling market.
âY/N! John B! Pope!â
Y/Nâs heart seized in her chest, and without another word, she took off in the direction of Kiara's cries, Rafe hot on her heels. They rounded a corner and found Kiara kneeling on the cobblestones, her face pale and streaked with tears. And lying there, motionless, was JJ.
âNo, no, no,â Y/N whispered, her voice breaking as she fell to her knees beside her brother. Her hands trembled as she reached out to touch JJâs face, his skin already growing cold under her fingertips.
âJJ, please,â she begged, her voice cracking, tears streaming down her face. âYou canât leave me. You promised.â She cried.
But there was no response, no flicker of life in those familiar blue eyes. It felt like the world had been ripped out from under her, like the ground had opened up to swallow her whole. Rafe stood behind her, his face pale, his fists clenched at his sides.
The group stood stunned, no one wanting to be the one to move. But they were in a busy, bustling city with a dead body. People would ask questions. âW-We have to get him out of here.â John B stammered. He moved to reach for Y/N, attempting to pry her off of her brotherâs body.
Y/N fought against him, muttering things like âIâm not leaving himâ or âhe canât be alone.â Rafe takes over for John B and has to use his strength to pull her up to her feet. He held her in his arms, close to his chest to avoid having to see her two best friends moving her brother.
At that moment, all he could really do was hold her.
||
Months had passed since that horrible day in Morocco, but for Y/N, time had ceased to exist. She was back in Kildare, but it was as if she was still stuck in that dark alleyway, kneeling beside her brotherâs lifeless body.
Sarah Cameron was heavily pregnant, as she prepared for the birth of her first child with John B. It was supposed to be a time of joy and new beginnings, but the shadow of JJâs death loomed over them all.
Y/N had fallen into a downward spiral, her grief consuming her. She drank herself into oblivion every night, stumbling through the streets of Kildare like a ghost. She would disappear for days, only to be found passed out on the beach or in the hammock outside her house. The Pogues tried to help her, but she pushed them all away, lost in her own pain.
Sarah had told Rafe about Y/N, how she was drowning in guilt for not being there when JJ had died. The words had hit Rafe like a punch to the gut, reminding him of his own spiral years ago, before his father had dragged him into the hunt for the Royal Merchantâs gold.
He couldnât let that happen to Y/N. He wouldnât. He loved her even if he couldnât admit it.
So he found himself standing on the porch of the Maybank house, staring at the peeling paint on the front door. John Bâs van was parked out front, and Rafe assumed he was there trying to talk some sense into Y/N.
A part of him thought âoh John B is here, I can come back later.â But he couldnât walk away, not this time.Heâs walked away from her too many times.
He knocked, the sound echoing in the stillness of the early afternoon. John B opened the door, his face drawn and tired. âSarahâs not here.â He told Rafe. âIâm not here for Sarah. Iâm here for Y/N.â Rafe answered.
âSheâs not doing well, man,â John B said, his voice low. âWe donât know what else to do. I think... I think she feels guilty for not being with JJ when it happened.â
Rafe nodded, his jaw tightening. âLet me talk to her.â
John B hesitated but finally stepped aside, letting Rafe through. The house was quiet, a stark contrast to the chaos that had always surrounded JJ.
Rafe walked down the hall to Y/Nâs bedroom, the same room he used to sneak into all those years ago. All of the memories came flooding back as he stopped in front of the door. Nights that ended tangled up in her sheets. Other nights where she just wanted to be held after a fight with her dad.
Rafe pushed the door open to find her cocooned under the comforter, a bottle of vodka sitting on her nightstand.
âJB, please go away,â she mumbled, her voice raw and hoarse. Rafe assumed from a mixture of alcohol and crying.
âNot John B,â Rafe said softly.
Y/N stiffened, slowly emerging from under the covers, moving to sit up against her headboard. Her eyes were bloodshot, her face pale and gaunt. She looked like a shadow of the girl he once knew.
âWhat are you doing here?â she asked, her voice barely more than a whisper.
âIâm worried about you,â Rafe said, moving to sit on the edge of the mattress.
âApparently everyone is,â she muttered, her eyes flicking away from him.
There was a heavy silence, the kind that was filled with all the things they had left unsaid for so many years. Rafe took a deep breath, trying to find the right words.
âY/N... I know what itâs like to lose yourself,â he began, his voice steady. âI know what itâs like to drown. I was there once, you know that. Hell, Iâm still trying to crawl my way out.â
She looked at him, her eyes filling with tears. âHe was always afraid to be alone, and I left him alone,â she choked out. âI should have been there. I should have protected him.â
Rafeâs heart broke at the raw pain in her voice. âYou canât blame yourself for what happened, Y/N. JJ wouldnât want that.â
âHow would you know?â she snapped, her voice rising. âYou never cared about him. About me.â
The words were like a slap in the face, but Rafe took it, knowing she was lashing out from a place of deep hurt. âYouâre right,â he said quietly. âI didnât care about JJ, and I pushed everyone away. But I always cared about you. And I donât want to lose you to this, Y/N. I canât.â
âIâm not your responsibility, Rafe.â Y/N muttered. âNo but youâre the person I love.â Rafe replied. âYou canât say things like that.â She practically snapped. âWhy not? You used to beg me to tell you how I felt and I finally am. Iâm sorry it came so late and itâs happening because of this but Iâll be damned if another person I love gets hurt because I didnât do anything to stop it.â Rafe told her.
She stared at him, the anger draining from her eyes, leaving only exhaustion. âI donât know how to come back from this,â she whispered.
âLet me help you,â Rafe said, his voice breaking. âPlease. Let me be there for you. You donât have to do this alone.â
There was a long pause, and then, almost imperceptibly, she nodded. It was a small gesture, but it was enough.
âIâll try,â she said, her voice trembling. âIâll try to get better.â
âAnd Iâll be here,â Rafe promised, reaching out to take her hand. âThrough it all. Iâm not going anywhere.â
||
A year had passed since that day in Morocco. The sun was shining over the Outer Banks, the salty breeze carrying the sound of laughter and the distant crash of waves. The Pogues had gathered for a special occasion, a day of celebration and new beginnings.
Sarah and John Bâs son, Jackson, was turning one today, and they were throwing a beach party in his honor. Y/N stood on the edge of the gathering, watching as Sarah bounced her son on her hip, his tiny hands reaching for the birthday cake.
Y/N was sober, clear-eyed, and for the first time in a long time, she felt like she could breathe again. She had fought her way out of the darkness with Rafe by her side, and though the pain of losing her brother would never fully fade, she was learning to live with it.
Rafe approached her, a soft smile on his lips. âYou doing okay?â he asked, his voice gentle.
She nodded, turning to look at him. âYeah, I think I am.â
He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. âIâm proud of you,â he whispered. âFor everything.â
She leaned into him, letting the warmth of his embrace chase away the lingering shadows. âThank you,â she said softly. âFor not giving up on me.â
Rafe smiled down at her before she moved up on her toes and kissed him sweetly. âI love you, Rafe.â She spoke quietly. âI love you too.â He replied.
They stood there together, watching as their friends celebrated a new chapter of their lives, a chapter filled with hope and healing.
For the first time in a long time, Y/N believed that maybe, just maybe, everything was going to be okay.

Ok, so, I don't know how to ask this, but I'm gonna write something with this prompt (I'm already sketching the plot) but I'm not really good with english, or more accurately, I never went to an academy nor anything, I know what I know purely by exposition, but 1 . I know fics in Spanish don't have that much readers and 2. I actually feel this story needs to be written in English.
So, I'm here basically to ask for a beta reader/editor/someone to help me with the writing, and (as absurd it might seem) I'd appreciate it very much if said person were British/living or lived in the UK/talks Brit english. Yes, this is something really silly, but I understand Brit way better than American and- yeah, that, you got it right? Idk. Also, idk, this needs to be written in Brit english.
(I don't know what the hell I'm doing sry) (it's been centuries since I actually wrote something to be read by ppl and not just die in my Google docs) (I'm hungry AND have anxiety help).
