I love bartender!reader!!!!!! She seems so sweet and collected...but I was wondering if she's got a little fire in her? Maybe they're at a party together and she gets jealous......which is new because she's usually the calm one out of her and rafe. Hope you're doing great <3
loved writing this bc you're so right!!! it's just so not like her to lose her temper over trivial things but oh🫣 hope you're doing just a great as well💖
i'm usually so unproblematic - r.c
pairing: rafe x pogue!reader (bartender!reader universe) warnings: allusions to smut but no actual smut.
You’re sitting in Rafe’s truck, staring out at the huge house in front of you, stomach in knots. It’s a mansion, more like.
Kook house. Kook party. Rich people everywhere. You can already hear the distant thrum of music, even from inside the car, bass-heavy, vibrating through the seats.
You chew your bottom lip and glance over at Rafe. He’s calm, casually messing with the radio, probably about to put on those trashy songs he loves that you absolutely hate but pretend to like because you love him.
It's insane how easy it is for him to just... be cool about this. But you?
You’re not so sure.
"This was a bad idea," you mumble, half-joking but also half-serious.
Rafe turns to you, one eyebrow raised, lips pulling into a crooked smile. “Nervous?”
You give him a look. “Obviously. I’m not...I don’t do these things. I don’t know these people.”
You’ve been with Rafe for almost a year now, give or take. Said your I love yous, met each other’s families. Hell, you’ve spent more time at Tannyhill than at your own place lately, and you’ve grown used to Rafe’s kook side. His friends, though? These parties? A whole other beast.
“I already met Topper. Isn’t that enough?”
He laughs under his breath, reaching over to take your hand. “You’ll be fine. It’s Kelce, and a few other people. No big deal.”
No big deal, you think. Easy for him to say when he’s been around these people his whole life. For you, being a pogue, working extra shifts at the country club just to pay rent… yeah, this is a little different.
“I know, I know. I’ll be fine. It’s just— I’m out of my element.”
He squeezes your hand. “Hey. You’re with me. That’s all that matters.”
You’re with Rafe. The Rafe who loves you, who can’t keep his hands off you even when you’re just watching movies. The Rafe who gets jealous over dumb things, like if you laugh too hard at one of JJ’s jokes, even though he’s just your seventeen-year-old neighbor. The Rafe who texts you goodnight, even when you’re in the same room, because he’s a sap and you secretly love it.
“Alright, let’s go,” you agree, trying to hype yourself up.
Rafe smiles, and then he’s out of the truck, jogging over to your side to open the door for you, like a perfect gentleman. You roll your eyes but step out, the night air brushing your bare shoulders. You weren’t sure how to dress for this party, so you chose to wear something…safe. A pretty red top you only used on special occasions and your best demim skirt. It wasn’t exactly kook material but at least you weren’t in your worn-out shorts and usual crop top or in your work uniform.
The moment you walk inside, though, it’s like stepping into a different world. The house is packed. People everywhere, laughing, drinking, hanging by the pool. Everything’s pristine and polished, and you feel their eyes on you the second you walk in.
Rafe wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you close. “Want a drink?” he asks, leaning down so you can hear him over the music.
You nod, trying not to let the fact that people are definitely staring at you freak you out. You’re not a Kook. You’re his girl, though, and you know how much that pisses some of them off.
A few minutes later, you’ve got a drink in hand, and Kelce’s talking your ear off about something you don’t really understand. Golf. You smile and nod along, doing your best to keep up, but the truth is, you’re not listening. You’re too busy watching the crowd, still feeling like you don’t fit in. Like you never really will.
That’s when you notice her. Tall. Pretty, in that rich, polished way that’s almost too perfect. And she’s glaring. Right. At. You.
Your stomach drops, and you tear your eyes away, sipping your drink to cover the dread that suddenly hits you. You don’t know who she is, but she’s been staring at you since you walked in, and it’s starting to mess with your head. Was there something on your face? Had you met before at the club? Maybe she didn't like your drinks.
“Baby, you okay?” Rafe’s voice snaps you out of your thoughts, his hand resting on the small of your back.
“Yeah, fine,” you lie, forcing a smile. He frowns slightly but doesn’t push it. Kelce’s still talking, oblivious.
You try to ignore it, but as the night goes on, she keeps popping up. Always staring. Always with that look crazied in her eyes. Like she could kill you. You’ve had a couple drinks by now, and your nerves are turning into a kind of irritation.
Finally, you excuse yourself to the bathroom, needing a break from the overwhelming feeling of being watched. You lock the door behind you, exhaling slowly as you stare at your reflection. Were you seeing things? Overreacting? Surely, Rafe or Kelce would’ve noticed as well, right? Or maybe they were used to this.
I’m just overthinking it, you tell yourself. I’m fine. She’s just..
But when you open the door to leave, she’s there. Leaning against the wall, arms crossed, staring at you with that same stupid look, like you personally offended her by daring to exist.
“Can I help you?” you blurt out before you can stop yourself.
She doesn’t smile. Doesn’t even flinch. Just tilts her head, giving you the most disgusted once-over you’ve ever seen in your life. “You’re Rafe’s new thing, huh?”
What? You’ve had just enough to drink that your filter is basically nonexistent now. You blink, confusion killing the buzz in your head. “Sorry, do I know you?”
“No,” she says, her voice dripping with disdain. “But I know you.”
You laugh awkwardly, nothing about this is funny. “Okay? So what’s your problem?”
Her eyes narrow, lips tinted pink curling. Oh, she’s mad now. She steps up closer to you, practically chest-to-chest. “My problem is that I don’t get why someone like you is with Rafe. He used to have a certain standard.”
Oh.
You almost laugh again because...wow. Really? That’s what this is about? “Okay, Regina George,” you mutter under your breath. You’re not in the mood for this. You tilt your head, giving her your best innocent smile. “And who are you?”
“Sophie. I dated Rafe for two years, before you, obviously,” she says, like that’s supposed to mean something. You didn’t know him back then, you hadn’t even spoken a word to him. "Guess he didn’t mention me."
His ex. Of course. Of course she’s his ex.
You snort before you can stop yourself. "Nope, pretty sure he forgot to bring you up.”
You feel a little sting of jealousy in your chest, but you try to swallow it down. You’re not about to let this girl get under your skin. You’re better than that. You didn’t know him, it’s fine.
“I’m not really interested in whatever this is.” You move to step around her, but she blocks your path.
“Just a word of advice,” she grits out, like you’ve personally offended her, “He’s not the kind of guy who sticks around for long. Especially not with girls like you.”
That does it. The alcohol, the nerves, the whole night—you’re seconds away from losing it. “What the hell is your problem?” you snap, your hands curling into fists at your sides.
“Dirty pogues who think—”
"Okay. I’m not gonna play whatever this is with you," you interrupt her, gesturing between the two of you, stepping forward so you’re toe-to-toe with her now. "If he wanted to be with a walking Vineyard Vines ad, he would be. But he’s not. He’s with me."
“You really think you’re different?” she spits, voice laced with venom. "Like you're special?"
Your laugh comes out sharp, more of a bark. “If you were so special, you wouldn’t be here, playing guard dog outside the bathroom. Move."
“Or what?” she challenges, her lips curling in that same superior smirk that makes your blood boil. “What are you gonna do, pogue?”
That’s it. You feel the fire flare up in your chest. Screw this girl. Your hands ball into fists, and you’re half a second from knocking that smug look right off her face when Topper steps in.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, let’s not turn this into Jerry Springer, alright?" He holds up his hands like he’s breaking up a fight at a middle school dance. You’re staring daggers at Sophie, and she’s glaring right back, but his hands are still up, a peacekeeper grin plastered across his face as he looks between the two of you. “Let’s not do this,” his eyes landing on Sophie. “C’mon, Soph, no need for the drama, yeah?”
She scoffs, crossing her arms and stepping back with an exaggerated roll of her eyes. “Whatever, Topper.
He watches her go before turning back to you, eyebrows raised. “You good?”
You nod, still fuming, but grateful he stepped in when he did. "Yeah. Thanks."
You let him take you away because if he doesn’t, you're going to follow her and throw a drink in her face or do something worse. You feel like you could punch her right in her perfect, stuck-up face.
He leads you back to where Rafe is, and you’re too upset to even look at him. His hands are on you the second you’re close, pulling you to him like he can tell something’s off. "Baby," his lips brush against your temple. "What’s wrong? You look like you’re ready to kill someone."
You don’t answer. You can’t. Not without completely blowing up.
Rafe’s brow furrows, his eyes darting between you and Topper. “What the hell happened?” he asks again, more forceful this time.
Topper gives him a look but doesn’t say anything, just shrugs. “Nothing, man. Just some girl drama. Don’t worry about it.”
Girl drama your ass.
He turns to you, and suddenly, he’s all over you, his hands on your waist, the other settling on the back of your head, “Baby, talk to me. What’s going on?”
You pull away, shaking your head, still too mad to speak.
He follows, his hands reaching for yours. “Hey, c’mon.”
Finally, you look at him. Really look at him. And the second you see his face, that stupid, worried puppy-dog expression, the anger starts to melt away.
“I’m mad,” you admit, “I got jealous. Your ex’s a bitch.”
Rafe blinks, and then, to your surprise, he laughs. A real, genuine laugh. You glare at him. “It’s not funny!”
“No, no, it’s not,” he says, quickly sobering, though there’s still a stupid smirk at his lips. “I just, I’ve never seen you jealous before.”
You cross your arms, still pouting. “I’m serious, Rafe. She was awful.”
He wraps his arms around you, pulling you close. “I don’t care about her. At all. I care about you.”
You roll your eyes, but your heart is softening. “She said you wouldn’t stick around.”
Rafe’s smile fades, and he pulls back just enough to look you in the eyes. “That’s bullshit. You know that, right?”
"She’s a psycho.”
Rafe’s expression changes, his frown deepening. "Sophie?"
"Yeah," you snap, because you hate the sound of her name coming out of his lips, "Sophie. Called me a dirty pogue, which—real original.”
“She what?” Rafe’s jaw tightens, and for a second, you see a flash of that old Rafe—the one who’d get into fights at the drop of a hat. "I’ll handle it.”
You’ve seen it before—his protective streak, the one that could turn dangerous if he wasn’t careful. Part of you loves it, the way he’d go to war for you without even blinking. But another part of you hates that you have so much power over him.
But right now, you’re still too mad to care about him handling anything. You push past him, heading for the exit, needing air, needing space. Everything inside you is on fire, and all you can think is that you need to get out. Anything but this house full of people who make you feel like you’re just dirt. People like her. You can’t stop hearing her nasal voice in your head, those snide comments digging into you like little needles, bringing up that same old insecurity.
“Baby, hold on,” His voice is behind you, and his hand is instantly catching yours, tugging you back before you can make it to the door.
You spin around, already ready to snap, but then you see his face—eyes wide, brow furrowed like he’s genuinely freaked out that you’re upset. “Don’t listen to her, she’s full of shit.”
You stare at him, your chest tight and aching, because yeah, you know she’s full of it, but it still got to you. It still hurt. “It just…” You swallow hard, trying to find the right words, even though everything feels like a mess. “It got in my head, Rafe. Like, I hate that she said that. I’m so sick of people looking at me like I don’t belong just because I’m not—”
He cuts you off, stepping closer, and before you can even finish the thought, he's dragging you into him. “You belong with me. That’s all that matters.”
You let out a breath, but you’re still worked up, “But it’s like—I don’t need some stuck-up kook girl who thinks she’s better than me telling me I don’t fit in. I know I’m not like them, but she said it like I wasn’t good enough for you. Like I’m just some—”
Rafe’s lips are on yours before you can finish. He only pecks you, but it’s enough to shut you up, to make your brain go silent for a second. “Stop,” his voice is almost pleading. “Stop thinking like that. I love you, okay? I don’t care what anyone else says.”
You blink up at him, you want to stay mad, but also want to let it go because he’s right here, so close, and he’s got that look on his face that makes your heart flip. “You don’t get it.”
He pulls you closer, hands gripping your hips like he can’t stand to have any space between you. “Then tell me,” he murmurs, pressing another kiss to your lips. “Tell me why you’re letting her get in your head.”
You huff, but the fight in you is starting to die out. “Because she made me feel like I’m less.”
He tilts your head back just enough to look at you, “That’s bullshit,” his fingers are gentle as they trail up your jaw, his thumb brushing over your cheek. “I’m not going anywhere.”
You feel a little stupid for letting that girl get to you in the first place. But damn it, you’ve heard it before—from other people, from yourself—that nagging voice that says you’re not enough.
“I know.” you mumble though you’re still a little embarrassed.
Rafe smiles then, that sweet smile he only ever gives you, and he presses his lips to your forehead. “Good,” he says, tugging you even closer, like he’s trying to wrap himself around you. “Because I’m obsessed with you, and I don’t care what her or anyone else says.”
You let out a shaky laugh, finally letting yourself relax in his arms. “You’re obsessed with me?” you tease, tilting your head to meet his eyes.
“Hell yeah,” he grins, his hands sliding up your back, one hand slipping down to squeeze your ass, his thumb sliding just under the hem of your skirt. “I can’t keep my hands off you. You know that. It’s becoming a real problem.”
You roll your eyes, trying to play it cool, but you don’t stop the giggle from bubbling out. The way he’s looking at you right now, like he can’t even think straight because you’re standing in front of him—it drives you up the walls. Then he leans down and kisses you again, and this time it’s not...casual. His lips move against yours like he’s trying to take every thought in your head, and it’s working. Your hands slide up, wrapping around his neck as his tongue brushes against yours. You don’t think you’ll ever get used to this.
He grips you harder, lips moving to brush against your ear, “You’re mine, baby and I’m not fucking going anywhere.”
That hits you, hard, like a truth he always reassures you off but still feels brand new when he does say it. Everything that pissed you off, all the crap Sophie said, it doesn’t matter anymore.
“Stop making me horny,” You whine out, tugging at his shirt and pulling him closer. You can feel his grin against your skin as he leans in, biting your lip playfully before kissing you again, you know he’s enjoying teasing you. His hand slides down to grab a handful of your ass again, making you gasp against his mouth, and you feel him smirk.
“I like you horny.”
You’re in the middle of this stupid party, surrounded by people who probably hate you for breathing, but all you can think about is how much you want him right now. His lips move over yours like he’s trying to claim you, and you’re more than happy to let him. It’s messy, all tongues and spit, but you don’t care. You love how rough and needy he is, how he groans into your mouth like he’s been dying to kiss you all night. It’s the kind of kiss that leaves you dizzy, the room spinning, and you’re not sure if it’s the alcohol or him—or both.
You tug at his shirt, frustrated with how much fabric is in the way, and he chuckles against your mouth, biting down on your bottom lip just hard enough to make you gasp. His hands slide down up to your neck, tightening just enough around your throat, and you let out a soft whimper into his mouth, making him grin.
“You're just so—” his lips brush over your cheek, then down to your bottom lip, kissing and biting just hard enough to make you squirm, "Beautiful, aren't you?"
You’re normally not one for pda, not at all. The idea of people watching, of eyes on you while you're with someone, always made your skin crawl. But when Rafe kisses you like this? When he’s got his hands on you? God, your brain just goes dumb, and every ounce of self-consciousness fizzes out. It's embarrassing, almost. All you can think about is the way he’s making you feel, the way he’s holding you against him, leaving you breathless and wanting more. You’re so not this person, not the girl who makes out with her boyfriend in the middle of a crowded room.
But with Rafe? You can’t even think straight.
His hands slide under your skirt for the millionth time, blunt fingernails gripping your plushy thighs, and you nearly whine, “Rafe,” you breathe, trying to pull away long enough to think properly, but he just kisses you harder, more insistent. “Baby, stop,” you manage to whisper, though you don’t mean it at all.
He pulls back just enough to look at you, his eyes all dark, his breath hot against your lips. “You want me to stop?” he teases, his hands still tight on your hips, his fingers digging into your skin in a way that makes your knees go weak.
You shake your head, biting your lip, and his grin widens. “Didn’t think so,” he murmurs before leaning in to kiss you again, like he can’t help himself, and honestly? Neither can you. You’re so turned on, it’s ridiculous.
“I—fuck,” you pant, trying to get the words out between kisses, but he’s relentless, pressing you back against a wall, his lips latching on to your neck, sucking a bruise into your skin “Baby, please—”
He groans against your neck, one hand sliding up under your top, fingers brushing the bare skin of your waist, and you swear you’re about to lose it. “Please what, hmm?”
You bite your lip, trying to stay composed, but you’re way past that now. All you can think about is how much you need him. Right now. Anywhere but here.
“Take me to the truck,” you nearly beg him, just loud enough for him to hear, but you know he catches it because he pulls back just enough to look at you, pupils blown wide.
He smirks, running his thumb over your bottom lip, teasing. “Yeah? You need me that bad?”
You nod, not even caring how desperate you sound. “Please.” Your voice cracks a little on the last word, but you don’t care anymore.
You need him, and you need him now.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ˏˋ°•*⁀
Forty minute later, the air inside the truck reeks of sex.
You’re breathless, flushed all over, and your legs feel like jelly. Rafe’s next to you, grinning like an idiot already fixing his jeans like he’s not still catching his breath. It’s written all over you—the tousled hair, the smudged lipstick, the way your top is barely hanging on properly as you try to straighten it out, the stickiness you can still feel between your legs, on your panties.
You feel filthy.
You bite back a smile as you adjust your skirt, your body still recovering from the way he had your face pressed against the seat.
“Shit,” you breathe out, trying to get it together, your fingers fumbling to fix your bra strap, “I feel like my makeup’s a mess.”
He just chuckles, leaning back in his seat with that cocky look that made you want to jump him in the first place, “You look perfect,” he says, eyeing you up and down like he’s ready to go another round.
You roll your eyes but can’t help the heat that rises to your cheeks. “Yeah, well, you look like you just ran a marathon.”
He laughs, reaching over to pull you close, his lips pecking your hair, “Worth it.”
You’re just about to leave the truck when the door opens, and as you both step out, you catch sight of Sophie and her friends walking past. Perfect timing. Of course.
She’s glaring—hard—and her friends are snickering, whispering to each other like they’ve just seen something they shouldn't. Sophie’s nose wrinkles as her gaze flicks between you and Rafe, her expression twisting into disgust like you’re both some kind of wild animals who just rolled around in the mud.
But you? You feel smug.
You meet her stare for a second too long, the corner of your mouth lifting in the tiniest, most satisfied smirk. You know she knows exactly what just happened in that truck, and it’s killing her. She’s practically seething, her friends muttering furiously under their breath as they walk by, noses in the air.
Rafe doesn’t even glances their way—his fingers hook into one of the belt loops of your skirt, tugging you back to him with just enough force to make you stumble slightly into his built chest, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. And it is.
“Thirty more minutes,” he murmurs against your cheek, planting a kiss there, casual but so possessive, his lips lingering just long enough to make your stomach shake with butterflies again, "And I'm taking you home."
And that’s what makes it even sweeter.

𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦
⋆˚✿˖° pairing: seo changbin x fem!reader
୧ ‧₊˚ ♡ somethin’ about him is made for somebody like me ₊˚⊹⋆
♡ genre - warnings: smut, fingering, unprotected piv, car and semi public sex, kinda slow burn? idk bear w me
word count: 3.1k
m.list
a/n: idk, a little something ab changbin as i prepare for 1k event fics!<3 and all my wips omg; just bc he’s so ariana slay
Changbin said it simply, whether or not you would go with him to the gym, via text message, to which you declined, you didn’t feel like working out at all, something about you that day seemed to depress you, but every muscle in your body tensed and your whole being woke up as you read:
uh, too bad
i wanted you to meet gyuri, i'm going to train her now
I thought you might get along😁
You jolted up, perplexed as you read the message from your best friend. Next thing you knew you were ready to go to Changbin’s personalized gym, this time dressed a little less sporty, you hoped to excuse yourself smoothly with something you would come up with later since you weren’t thinking clearly.
For years you had this best friend dynamic with Changbin, an unique dynamic where you never touched each other that way, but you treated each other with such affection that people thought you were a couple and, but knowing that he would be with another woman... made you grow jealous, you couldn’t deny it, he was yours, you were in love with him but the idea of a relationship suffocated you, you just knew you wanted him, his company in everything.
Changbin was a professional and personal trainer, he had clients of very high status, usually... other men so you were more than relieved, but a girl was something new to you. So with a slight shiver in your body, you unexpectedly knocked on your friend’s establishment door. He opened it for you within seconds, confused, wearing his tight workout clothes, making you slightly nervous.
“Oh, hey, love” he greeted you with a smile, “You drove here by yourself? You actually decided to come... but... you’re not dressed to...”
“Oh, no, let’s go eat later” you quickly interrupted him.
“Okay! But... you know I’m kind of busy, will you wait here?”
You blinked trying to think quickly, a valid excuse, something, something...
“Mr. Seo!” you heard a high-pitched but sweet voice, interrupting you and diverting his attention.
Changbin turned with a smile and then saw you. The inner fire of yours burst out in you more.
“Oh, it’s Gyuri, come in Y/n.”
You both walked further in, until you came to see a pretty young woman with two glasses with orange juice in her hands... she was, something else, she had such a bright aura, long hair and dyed a light brown. She really was Changbin’s type, if you knew him well enough.
“Changbin, please, I’m not that old” he joked correcting her, taking one of the glasses, “Oh, this is Y/n, Y/n, Gyuri.”
“Nice to meet you” Gyuri replied kindly with a smile to which you reciprocated the gesture, “Oh, I made orange juice, do you want...?”
“I’m fine really...”
And a brief awkward silence formed. Changbin sensed it instantly and took a quick sip of his juice.
“Well, let’s continue” he exclaimed.
You felt... like you shouldn’t be there, you weren’t even wearing work out clothes, you were sad in your apartment but you went all the way here by mere impulse as you felt Changbin was yours.
You watched them walk away, but Changbin quickly turned to see you.
“Ah, Y/n...”
“It’s okay, I can go” you replied awkwardly, your cheeks warm not exactly sure if from a bit of rage or general embarrassment.
“Oh, no, you can stay, I won’t really train, I’ll just make sure Gyuri does a good job and that the exercises I assign suit her.”
You smiled at him, you couldn’t even answer him, you felt so small, pathetic and jealous. And now you had to witness him, pulling her body closer, encouraging her, correcting her posture, lifting her ass to him. You couldn’t take it anymore. Usually you’re that girl, and you come out of your sessions very turned on by his yelling and flattery.
You texted Minho, your other friend, telling him to call you urgently, to which he initially complained and tried to ignore you but after a few minutes, very confused he did. You walked away embarrassed, pretending to have an important call and walked out, exclaiming that it was a call from Minho. Changbin watched you leave, a little confused... as you were acting weird, quieter than usual and the only time he saw your eyes light up was when you got the call from another man, causing him discontent.
You explained the situation to Minho, to which in a mocking tone, after laughing at you, he encouraged you to finally try something with Changbin, that if neither of you didn’t cross the line, something would never happen... so you decided to take his wise words. This wasn’t planned, you’re usually unproblematic and only the universe knows how hard you tried to resist, but you couldn’t help it, the boy was yours. He always was. Only you knew him like no one else and you couldn’t wait to try.
After an exhaustive talk on the phone for more than half an hour with Minho, whom you seemed to be forcibly holding back, you entered, finding Changbin and Gyuri finishing their session. You celebrated internally; you checked even the smallest detail of both of them was in order, analyzing them with the look that nothing had happened in your absence, and everything looked the same. Only the girl was a little flustered who had a slightly tired expression and was sweating, getting up from the exercise machine.
She walked in search of her tumbler cup with water, drinking slowly.
“I’m done, what do you want to eat?” Changbin walked over to tell you.
You still smelled his perfume, with him not shedding a drop of sweat.
You smiled at him, “I don’t know, let’s just go out.”
You were nervous and couldn’t explain it. What you didn’t know was that Changbin was also giving your long phone call with Minho a second thought. So he didn’t even pay attention to Gyuri, just politely bid her farewell, telling her politely that he would see her next session.
Once inside his car, he started driving, suddenly you found him a thousand times more attractive, the way his hair looked so fluffy, he was driving attractively with one hand and his seat belt squeezing between the middle of his pecs... you thought about what to say, honestly confessing with cheesy words was not your thing, what could you do...
“So... what so much did Minho say?” he finally spoke, trying to hide his curiosity.
“Minho? Ah, nothing.”
“Mmm... well, it seems like you talked quite a lot...”
You were so engrossed in your thoughts that you weren’t paying much attention to what Changbin was saying, but his subtle tone changed something in you... it was obvious his slight jealous tone so you quickly seized the opportunity.
“Uh... well yeah, you know how Minho and I are…”
“Minho and you? Since when? He can barely stand you.”
“Well… he tolerates me enough to listen to my voice over the phone for an hour.”
Changbin snorted in annoyance, bringing his other hand to the steering wheel, giving an incredulous half-smile.
“Anyway, let’s go to that food place we went to the other time.”
“Sounds good to me, maybe I can bring Minho something to eat too” you continued to tease him, enjoying seeing his disgusted reaction.
“Why would you bring him food? If you’re hanging out with me, he can cook something by himself. Did you tell him you’d bring him food? Does it mean you’re going to see him later?” exploded Changbin in emotions still looking straight ahead, unable to turn to see you.
You laughed and rolled your eyes in satisfaction.
“God, Changbin, are you listening to yourself?”
“Yeah so what?”
“Are you jealous?” you smiled mischievously.
“As much as you were of Gyuri” he now smiled.
The gesture was immediately wiped off your face. You couldn’t believe he said that. Changbin started laughing in his typical mocking laugh, coming from the pit of his stomach, his low and sonorous 'hehehe', you found it really annoying.
“Oh, shut the fuck up.”
“Well, that’s the way you wanted to play” he added, parking his car in front of a fence on the street of the outside restaurant which was a street food place, a bit far from it.
You crossed your arms and acted indignant, hoping to get his attention, you were both attention whores. Changbin smiled at your expression, looking straight ahead with your arms and leg crossed. He unbuckled his seatbelt, and began to stirr your arm playfully.
“Come on, let’s go eat, don’t say you got mad. If you behave yourself I’ll pay for Lino’s food too and we’ll bother him later, we can see his annoying reaction when he sees us coming over” he mentioned in an amused tone, begging for your attention.
You slowly smiled and it wasn’t because of his comment, just for the simple fact that you really liked Changbin, and you loved the way he begged a little. You turned to look at him, slowly, scaring Changbin in a good way, as your expression was serious, you had a sweet smile drawn on your face, your eyes sparkled in the slight darkness and... you managed to make him nervous in seconds, you looked so attractive in his eyes, with a look that you had only seen him before for a few seconds when you got drunk, a seductive look almost inviting him to do with you whatever he wants.
“Hey, let’s go to...”
“Changbin” you said slowly; he was lost on you, he didn’t finish his sentence nor did he know what he was talking about, “Bin...”
You didn’t know exactly what to say either. You were just waiting for him to react and come to you and take what is his, with a kiss.
Changbin cleared his throat, averting his gaze from you, breaking the moment of tension and the magic moment where you were hypnotizing him. You would have thought it was cute... but instead you grimaced in disgust... was it that you had misread the signs and Changbin really didn’t like you too? You got so angry that you spat impulsively and without thinking:
“Yeah, well, at least Minho would have known to take this chance and would be kissing me by now.”
Changbin’s face perked up as did his ears at being so surprised, the sentence with the words ‘Minho, kiss, me’ didn’t seem to well at all to him.
“Excuse me?”
You moved dangerously close to him, almost brushing his lips, making him open his eyes in surprise:
“That he can read the room and understand what I want” you provoked him again.
“Oh yeah?” he expressed, smugly, brushing his nose with yours, “Then why don’t you go and bother him? But no, you have to be here... Binnie this, Binnie that... I’ve never seen you complain this much...”
“And what could it be that I always called you before anyone else?” his lips inches away, so agonizing that your body throbbed with excitement.
“What is it...? You have to tell me.”
“What do you want me to tell you, Seo Changbin?”
The air suddenly became heavy, your breaths could be heard in every corner of his car.
“Say what you want, you’re free to express yourself, love.”
You smiled, amused about to say the most corny thing in the world, unashamed, about to kiss him, “I’d say you’re mine.”
And you kissed him, being pushed by more than your silly steady wobble. His lips were soft and fluffy, Changbin quickly held the back of your neck gently to intensify his kiss, you took hold of his strong arm; he did it so well, he was slow but wild, taking you into splendid delight. After a little over a minute, his free hand sought to caress your thigh, he brought his hand under your skirt and explored the inside of your mouth dirtyly with his tongue, arousing you a little.
Finally you parted, lips swollen and incredibly aroused from each other, staring into each other’s eyes so lasciviously.
“Oh, Y/n...” he whispered, analyzing every part of your face, “Come here, I’m all yours.”
Changbin roughly slid his seat back, patting his thighs, you looked down at his hand and it was inevitable to notice that he was hard. You smiled broadly and found a way to slide from your seat to his, sitting on his lap facing him, with your thighs on either side of his, feeling a little of his bulge brush against your mons pubis, so close to your clit. You left your hands on his pecs and kissed him again, in a more desperate act, not caring that you were on a public street, you needed him, just now more than any other day, you couldn’t believe it, finally you and him, intertwining, under the night.
Changbin began to touch your body, running his manly hands up your thighs and down your ass, until he reached your panties, desperate, Changbin let one hand squeeze your thigh and the other caressed your sensitive clit, managing to cause you to shiver. You were so wet that it kind of embarrassed you to drop your whole body into his lap, but he loved how slightly needy you looked. Changbin gently bit your lower lip as he pulled away from you and worked more on caressing your throbbing clit; you bit your lip in pleasure as you saw his smug expression on his face, he was more than happy to see a new reaction in you, with your slightly open mouth, panting and your submissive look, suddenly discovering your body became so addictive and filled him with adrenaline.
You gasped harder, you were so ready to see his cock for the first time and decisively to start moving on it, you wanted it right now and you were about to ask for it; but seeing two young people walking down the street through the back window of his car, made you regain your consciousness a little.
“Cha-ngbin” you tried to speak, “we’re in...”
“In a fucking public place, I know dear, so you better be discreet; I’m not gonna take off any of your clothes, you can fuck me like this” he whispered breathy and sizzling near your lips, gently scrunching his nose and unable to take his eyes off your face.
You watched him and for some reason, you just nodded submissively, Changbin widened his smile at your response, sweetly showing his front teeth.
“Stand up a little, so you can feel my fingers...”
You did so instantly, and within seconds you felt the tickle of his fingers across your labia, then moving away the fabric of your panties from your soaked entrance and he slipped two of his deft fingers into your core.
Changbin raised his eyebrows in surprise and pouted finding you tender, your body trembled and you did your best to hold back the soft whimper leaving your lips at the sensation of your insides being touched.
“You’re so wet, love. I think you’re so ready to take my cock already, don’t you?”
He pushed his fingers in deeper, teasing you more, making you lean your limp body into him, enjoying the feel of his fingers digging inside you.
“Y-yes, Changbin, please.”
“I didn’t hear you right, what was the magic word again?”
“Pl-please.”
Changbin thrusted you with his fingers more intensely and rapidly bringing your climax closer and, your wetness spilling out of you, dripping down his hand and onto his thighs and, with his typical smug grin, he pulled out of you without warning, making you sigh in exasperation, but you caught your breath, as you watched him finally pull down his shorts and underwear; Changbin looked to his sides a little guiltily, his heart was racing; his windows were shielded but the rush of having a little bit of public sex filled him with adrenaline again, pumping his cock to perfection.
Finally there it was, something you hadn’t planned at all from the beginning but still circumstances led you to it; his cock, nice and erect and thick, his little trimmed pubic hair in his area perfectly detonating to his rigid and throbbing member with its pink tip coated in shiny precum. The curiosity in you won, stroking it admiringly, from its tip to its base and its soft sensitive balls, you wanted to do so many things with it, take your time, but both of you were already in a very compromising situation.
“Go ahead, baby, ride me” he gasped, somewhat despairing at your sudden masturbation to his cock.
You raised your gaze and lifted your body a little again, bringing it closer to his erection, Changbin grabbed your hips while you leaned on his chest, then pushed the fabric of your panties aside with one hand and with the other you perfectly centered his hard cock at your entrance, finally letting you slowly drop into it, feeling every inch of him stretching your hole and walls; it felt so good in you, that you both gasped at the same time, but it felt even better with his full length inside, as if he was tailor-made for you.
You began to move, whimpering a little, the sensation was indescribable, Changbin finally for you.
“Move for me, move for me, fuck you’re doing great.”
You rode his cock, expecting nothing less from Changbin, but his babbles filling you with compliments made your nipples hard, you wanted to be touched by him, every part of you, completely vulnerable, but for the moment you had to settle for intense car sex, living off the pure sensation and the grotesque sound of your soaking wet core being stirred by his masculinity. Your tiny skirt covered the scene; just two best friends, with the girl jumping on her friend’s lap, panting. You felt complete, you didn’t want to leave him ever, his balls were rubbing against your pussy as he was so fucking deep in you and with your throbbing labia brushing against his body, you were completely rapt, Changbin was too strong to carry you easily and move your body at his mercy, his cock destroying beautifully inside you, you were whimpering in pure pleasure, never stopping babbling his name. You thought you were moving but he was doing his part too, intensifying each thrust into you.
Changbin tightened his grip on you, almost marking your skin, squeezing the fabric of your skirt tightly against you, he grunted loudly and you felt his cock throb in, followed by his orgasm shooting deep into your core, you couldn’t hold it back that long either, you twitched gently a couple more times as you watched him try to recover and you swooned completely into his body, culminating in a shuddering orgasm that altered every sense in you.
You both stared at each other, shaken and with a smirk of satisfaction as if you had won a prize you were aiming for.

"Girl, I swear! He was staring at you the whole time!" Your friend exclaimed on your way home after attending a fan meet event with your favorite K-pop boy band, TXT.
"Stop with your delusions, Rain," you chuckled. "Why would my bias stare at me? That's impossible," you said, scoffing at the idea your friend had been conducting on your way home.
"Oh my god, you're such a dumb Soobrangdan, I swear! You're losing your chance!" Your friend was about to burst out, lucky for you, there are only a few locals riding the bus, and they're not paying attention to your friend making a fuss.
You glanced at the photo card dangling on your bag, your bias really looks handsome. You like the other four guys, but you’re committed to Soobin. The tall guy gave the cute yet sexy and hot aura. His bunny smile and pretty face made you fall for him over and over again. --- You we’re a total simp for Soobin.
"Here! Look! MOAs are uploading pictures and videos here and there. Take a look and tell me if I'm wrong!" Rain frowns. You took her phone and scrolled through the platform.
'She's so lucky! Soobin has been staring at her the whole time!'
'She's a Soobrangdan, right? How lucky!'
'Oh, to be stared at by your bias!'
'Prayer reveal, sis!'
It was true. Soobin was looking at you the whole damn time. He looks at the crowd for a second, quickly returning his gaze at you. Oh my god! What in the world have you done to be looked at like this by your bias?!
"Oh fuck, I hope Taehyun would look at me like how Soobin stared at you last time!" It's been a couple of months since the last fan meeting you attended. And this time, you are attending another fan signing event again.
You weren't expecting anything at all, or so you thought. Maybe, deep inside, you're expecting Soobin to recognize you from the crowd. For him to look at you the same way he did last time.
"You're the one who gave me the crocheted KARA lightstick last time, how could I forget you?" Soobin's bunny smile flashed right in front of your face. His big hand is almost covering your tiny ones.
You were giggling the whole time. His hand envelopes yours. He even held your wrist in an almost teasing manner as he compared your size difference. Soobin couldn't stop smiling either. He adores how your hand fits perfectly on his. How the size of your ring finger is the same size as his pinky finger.
And just before you move on to the next member, he sneakily wrote something on the album he was signing.
"I really recognize you, y/n. I hope we can see each other more often," he whispered. "And... don't let anybody touch this album aside from you, yeah?" He smirks as he slides the signed album towards you.
You went home in a dazed state. Your friend couldn't even talk to you properly, frustrated she just shut up. You weren't saying anything aside from the constant "huh?" and "mhm!", while you were clutching the album against your chest tightly.
After doing your nightly routine, you jumped on your bed. The white and orange-colored album caught your eye as you quickly got up and grabbed it.
Sniffing the album, you slowly turned every page. Admiring every beautiful face on each page. Until you saw his picture near the middle part—it was Soobin's picture.
'Hi pretty, call me if you're free.' was written on the edge of the page along with a phone number. Your jaw dropped to the floor, confused and baffled.
You were expecting something more like a sweet message or such, not a 'call me' note.
Yet you found yourself dialing the number written on the page of the album.
"H-hello?" You muttered when you heard a deep breath on the other end. "I-is this Soobin? Choi Soobin?" You were practically biting your nails while muttering the words carefully. What if it's just a bluff?
"Y/n?" the voice answered. Alas! It was Soobin!
"H-hi! I... I'm... I just--"
"Calm down, sweetie," Soobin chuckled.
You took a deep breath and whispered a soft hi. Soobin hums as an answer. The call was short, because Soobin was busy with his schedule. Well, that one-time call already meant a lot to you, who are you to complain?
A couple of months later, TXT organized another fan signing event for their comeback stage. This time, it was a lot bigger than the other. This time, thousands of people are expected to participate. And once again, you and your friends were lucky to acquire the VIP ticket.
It was a crisp autumn evening, and the anticipation in the air was electric. Fans from all corners of the city had gathered for the long-awaited fan meeting of TXT, their favorite boy band. Among the thousands in attendance, you found yourself at the front of the stage, heart racing as the boys took their places.
As the event kicked off, Soobin scanned the crowd, his gaze dancing over faces filled with excitement until it landed on you. You felt your cheeks flush, unsure if it was the light or the warmth of his gaze that sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as his eyes locked onto yours, a playful smirk breaking across his face. You quickly looked down, too shy to hold his gaze any longer, but not before you noticed the playful glint in his eyes.
“Who’s ready to have some fun?” Soobin called out, his voice laced with enthusiasm. The crowd erupted in cheers, but all you could think about was that moment of connection. As the various activities unfolded—games, Q&As, and performances—you couldn’t shake the feeling that Soobin’s eyes kept drifting back toward you.
During a particularly lively segment, he started to walk toward the edge of the stage, playfully teasing the fans. You held your breath, half-expecting him to call someone else into the spotlight. Then, without warning, he pointed directly at you. “You! Come here!”
Your heart stopped. “Me?” You stammered, disbelief evident on your face as you made your way to the front. The crowd parted with laughter and cheers, urging you on. With each step, the adrenaline surged, and by the time you stood before him, your heart was pounding furiously.
“Hi! What’s your name?” Though his eyes were actually screaming, he knew your name, leaning closer, his warm smile making it hard to concentrate.
“Uhm, it's y/n," you managed, your voice barely audible above the loud cheers around you.
“Well, aren’t you brave?” He said with a playful wink. “I have a feeling you’re going to be my favorite fan tonight.
”You couldn’t believe it—he was flirting with you right there in front of everyone! The other members laughed and encouraged him, but he didn’t take his eyes off you. As the event progressed, he kept making lighthearted jokes, steering the attention back to you each time.
When the event ended, he stepped down from the stage and walked toward you. “You know,” he said, his voice low enough for only you to hear, “I think we should hang out sometime. I’d like to get to know you better."
Your breath caught in your throat as the other members around you gasped. Was he really asking you out? “Are you serious?” You asked, trying to mask the disbelief with a teasing smile.
"Absolutely,” he smiled back, mischief dancing in his eyes. “What do you say? Just us, away from the cameras and crowds?”
After exchanging contact information with a heart full of hope, your night wrapped up, but that was only the beginning. Over the next few weeks, Soobin kept his promise. Text messages turned into phone calls, and soon enough, the two of you were meeting in secret cafés, parks, and even sharing ice cream on chilly evenings. Each moment together deepened the bond you were forming.
Dating someone like Soobin wasn’t without its challenges; the scrutiny of being in the public eye weighed heavily on both of you. But amidst the noise, you found solace in the quiet moments—the way he would listen intently as you spoke, the laughter you shared over inside jokes, and the warmth of his hand finding yours.
One night, while walking beneath a canopy of stars, Soobin gently squeezed your hand and said, “I never expected to find someone so genuine in this crazy world. I’m really glad you caught my eye that day.”
With your heart racing, you looked up at him, his face lit with anticipation. “I'd never imagined myself dating you, Soob, I even thought you're joking. But... You’ve changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. You made me love life even more,” you sighed.
In that moment, the world faded away, leaving just the two of you standing under the sparkling sky, two hearts dancing to a rhythm that felt undeniably right.
"Were you watching edits of me again?" You were startled from where you were sitting when Soobin spoke.
"Oh my god, Bin! At least announce that you're home, else I’ll end up dying young," you joked, your hand still on your chest.
Soobin chuckled, planting a kiss on your forehead, "I did, sweetie. Maybe you're just too focused on what you were watching that you didn't even hear me. What if it's not me? What if it's a killer or a thief?" Soobin pouts as he melts into your arms.
"What the hell are you saying? Do they have the house key?" Your eyebrows raised into a frown and Soobin pouted.
It's been only 3 months since you started officially dating him, yet you knew almost everything about him. You're too familiar with when he's stressed out, or when he's angry, or when he just wants to be clingy.
One typical Saturday afternoon, while the sun was casting a warm golden hue across the room, you sat on your bed, scrolling through social media.
You found yourself watching a short video clip that featured your boyfriend in a relaxed interview setting. He was gesturing with his hands, those long, slender fingers of his gliding through the air as he spoke animatedly about his passion for music. You couldn’t help but feel a flutter in your chest as you admired his natural charisma. You had always found him attractive, but something about his fingers today set your imagination racing.
The way he drummed his fingers on the table, or how he would push his hair back while speaking, was captivating. You leaned in closer, your face flush with warmth, almost forgetting the world around you. The clip had sparked a whirlwind of fantasies in your mind, and you lost yourself in thoughts of how his fingers might feel on your skin, exploring and teasing.
Just as you were about to replay the video for the third time, you heard a soft click at your door. Your heart raced as you quickly looked away from your phone, feeling like a deer caught in headlights.
To your surprise, it was Soobin himself, looking casual yet undeniably cute in his oversized hoodie. “Hey, i'm home,” he said, a playful smile spreading across his face. You froze, phone still in hand, the video still playing in the background as your cheeks flushed a deep shade of red.
“What were you watching?” he asked. You felt your throat go dry, words barely finding their way out. “Um, just a… a video,” you stammered, avoiding his gaze.
He stepped closer, his curiosity piqued. “Oh really? Is it something interesting?”
For a second, you thought of showing it to him, telling him about it, yet you shut it off and brushed it all aside.
"W-what do you want for dinner?" You muttered, shoving your phone in your pocket.
"Don't cook tonight, I booked a restaurant." Soobin smiled, shrugging off the matter that was the video on your phone.
You took a quick shower, picked some nice casual clothes, and took his hand in yours, walking hand in hand once again.
Soobin makes a joke about you might be cheating on him and that you're hiding something from him. But of course, you showed proof you didn't do anything of the sort.
Dinner went well. Aside from some pair of eyes probably boring holes in your skull, Soobin made you comfortable nonetheless. You had a good time with him again, after a while of being busy with his hectic schedule.
The next day, Soobin went out earlier than usual. They were called in for a sudden meeting for their upcoming shoot.
You were enjoying your time alone. Baking some goods for him to taste when he gets home. Cleaning and rearranging the house stuff for a cleaner and cozy space. You even changed the curtains, the sheets, the pillowcases, and the blankets.
After a whole day of cleaning, you sat down on your usual spot on the sofa, turning on your phone to consume some entertainment. You found yourself searching for the clip you had watched yesterday.
And once again, it made your head spin. His long and slender fingers look so pretty. His huge hand made you think about something unholy. Your fingers slowly digging into the soft pillow, your thighs rubbing against each other.
His eyebrows shot up in genuine surprise, a soft laugh escaping his lips. “My fingers? What about them?”
You jolt up from where you were sitting, quickly shutting off your phone and shoving it face down on the couch.
"H-hey! Y-you're phone--- I mean home!" you exclaimed, quickly hitting your head and cursing yourself for messing your words up.
You felt your face grow even warmer, heart racing. The heat of embarrassment surged through you, but there was something unmistakably thrilling about his interest. Soobin tilts his head to the side, curious of what that was all about.
"They’re just… really nice,” you finally admitted, barely above a whisper, a mix of shyness and audacity washing over you.
Soobin’s smile widened, and a glimmer of something playful sparked in his deep-set eyes. “Nice, huh? I guess there are worse things to be complimented on.” He took a step closer, invading your personal space, making you acutely aware of how your body responded to his proximity.
You could feel the coldness of the concrete wall seeping through your thin shirt and kissing your warm back.
Suddenly, the air was thick with tension, a magnetic pull drawing you toward him. He leaned down slightly, tilting his head, his gaze locked onto yours. “You know, I can show you just how nice they are…” His voice dropped to a whisper, the teasing lilt sending shivers down your spine.
Without thinking, you leaned forward, and the space between you collapsed. The spark ignited, and Soobin captured your lips in a soft, tentative kiss. It was electrifying, leaving you breathless and wanting more.
As he pulled back, you gasped at the intensity of the moment, still dazed.
"Are you okay?” he asked, a mix of concern and mischief playing on his features. You nodded, your heart racing. “I think so… I just never imagined…”
“Neither did I,” he interrupted, his fingers brushing against your cheek, a subtle caress that felt intimate and exhilarating. “But sometimes, the unexpected can lead to something amazing.”
Before you could process it, Soobin pulled you closer, his lips finding yours again, this time more passionately. Your hands instinctively found their way to his hair, fingers tangling in the soft strands as you melted into him. You could feel his warmth radiating off him, igniting an undeniable fire within you.
As the kiss deepened, his fingers moved down your arms, tracing patterns that sent jolts of electricity through your body. You pulled back for a moment, eyes searching his. “Are you sure about this?”
His playful grin returned, and he nodded. “If you're down, I'm down. Who am I to decline? Besides, I think you need me," he chuckled as he gripped your waist.
With a rush of adrenaline, you surrendered to the moment, letting go of your shyness and embracing the connection between you. It was as if nothing else mattered; the world outside faded away, leaving just the two of you in this shared sanctuary of desire.
The afternoon melted into an evening of exploration and passion, every soft touch and lingering kiss drawing you closer. Soobin’s fingers, the very ones that had ignited this whole encounter, explored your skin like an artist painting a masterpiece, each stroke igniting flames of longing in their wake.
"S-soobin," you choked out.
"Yes love? I'm here. I'm still here," he muttered, kissing your neck. He then pulled away and grabbed your arm, sniffing your wrist. "You smell sweet and amazing, did you take a bath already?" he asked. You simply nodded, pulling your hand away and wrapping them around his waist.
"Bedroom? I think I really need you right now," you bit your lower lip as you look up at him.
"You do?" Soobin taunts, lifting one of his hands, gently rubbing your lip. He pulled your lower lip down with his thumb. "I don't know what I could do to you. Your tiny body looks so frail and fragile compared to me."
"Please, need you..." Your eyes pleading to the tall man, rubbing your thighs together, wanting to finally feel him.
Soobin carefully wrapped his hand around your neck, slowly tightening his grip. You heard him curse under his breath when you gasped for air, clutching on his shirt. His grip easily made you lightheaded and your mind hazy. You're totally making him develop his size kink in a sexual way.
"B-bin... S-soobin..." You managed to squeak out as fat tears fell from your waterline. He pulled his hand away, and he watched you catch your breath, whimpering on his chest as you hugged him tight. Not wanting to let him know how turned on you are.
"Did I hurt you? I'm sorry, you just look... You looked so pretty when you're all drooling and crying with just my hand wrapped around your neck," he said as he hugged you back, his voice tinged with apology.
"F-felt good... Want more..." You admitted, burying your face in his chest. Soobin carried you all the way to your shared bedroom. Laying you down on the bed, carefully stripping you out of your thin clothes, and hovering above you.
"Y/n, if we don't stop now, I can't guarantee you I would be able to stop later on," he sighed, fingers gently brushing your plush thighs.
"Need you. Need you so much, please..." You begged, grabbing his toned arm. Soobin dipped his head down, kissing the tip of your nose.
"I love you, don't think that I only want your body. I love you because you are you, y/n." You weren't expecting him to spew assurance in the midst of this, especially since he was suddenly talking about your body, but it made you feel at ease for some reason.
He then grabs your hands, restraining them both with just a single hand above your head. "My hands and fingers are pretty, you say? Watch them for me, yeah?" he said as he slowly rubbed your clit.
"Mmphh!" You squirmed under him, a faint blush creeping onto your cheeks.
His digits slowly disappeared in your hole as he fucked you with his fingers. Grinning widely while watching your small frame thrash beneath him.
"Say it again," he commands, "That my fingers are pretty."
"B-bin mmphh! Your fingers are--- ahh! Are p-pretty!"
"How pretty are they?" he edged, curling his long fingers inside.
"Ohh! S-so pretty w-wanna c-cum--fuck ahh! W-wanna cum on them!" You managed.
"Mhm, go ahead, do it."
With a few more pumps, you came undone on his fingers, body twitching from sensitivity. His face lit up, looking proud that he managed to make you come on his fingers. When he pulled out his fingers, they were glistening with your arousal. Sticky. Wet. Creamy.
Yet your eyes were fixed on his essence-covered fingers. It didn't escape his sight, smirking as one nasty idea came to his mind.
He shoved his fingers in your mouth, letting you taste yourself. Allowing you to suck on his pretty fingers covered with your slick. Making you play with his fingers with your warm and hot tongue.
"Damn, you look so sexy like this. If only I knew about this, we should've done this earlier," he chuckled as he swirled his fingers on your tongue.
"Do you taste good? I bet you do." He smiled before pulling his hand away from you and dipping his head on the lower region of your body. Gripping your thighs to keep them open, licking a long stripe on your dripping pussy.
Your body arched as a guttural moan escaped from your mouth. "Damn, you do taste good, should've done this to you before."
If he has long fingers, no doubt that he has a long tongue too. That he could even tongue-fuck you and would possibly make you cum again if only he stayed longer.
Soobin pulled out a pack of condoms that had been sitting in his wallet for a long time now. "What if we hit it raw instead?" His voice was joking, yet you agreed.
Soobin was packing. Girthy --- Veiny. Thick. Long.
"B-bin too b-big!" You whined. He made you straddle him, claiming he'd reach deeper inside you in this position. Not to mention the pack of condoms discarded and long forgotten on the floor.
"Baby, you can take me. I know you can. You’re doing so good. Doing so fucking good, my pretty girl." His fingers traced the prominent bulge on your tummy. "See? I'm deep inside you. In here. Look. You're such a good girl," he coos, poking and pushing at the bulge.
His lips captured yours once again. Kissing you fervently yet carefully. "You're so tiny," he giggled as he leaned back, pulling your lower lip again with his thumb. He wasn't expecting you suck his finger into your mouth.
"Dirty," he remarks, and he felt you clench around his cock.
"Fuck, you want that? You want to be called dirty? To be called a slut?” He felt you clench around his cock again.
"Angel, didn't know you're this kinky?" he chuckled. "Aside from being choked, you quite love getting degraded, hm?"
"B-bin, 's too m-much?" You whined, wanting to hide on his neck, but he insists on watching your face contort as he rearranges your guts.
"Poor baby," he coos, red cock ramming your overstimulated cunt even harder. Your wanton moans got louder and high pitched. His thrusts got sloppy and erratic.
"Fuck, won't last long, mmphh!" His head thrown back as he grips your waist, pushing your body down on his cock, slamming through your cervix.
"M-me neither, please, n-need more," you whimpered.
One of his hands flew up to your neck, restraining your lungs to acquire enough oxygen, making your mind a little hazy and your pulse throb for a bit while he shoots his cum inside you.
"Shit!" he hisses, convulsing, as he leans his forehead on your shoulder, loosening his grip on your neck. The corner of his lips curled up when he heard you panting, gasping for air, your body twitching above him as you came undone for the second time. Your boyfriend developed many kinks, after all.
He slowly pulled away, a glob of cum flowing out from your spent hole. "Let's get you cleaned up," he whispers, along with the soft kisses being planted on your temple. You shook your head and pulled the blanket over your bodies instead, hugging him tight, neglecting the sticky feeling.
Soobin then decided to rest and clean up later. He doesn't want you to be sulky and mad anyway, so he just hugged you closer to him, gently massaging your sore body.
Smiling to himself with his eyes closed after realizing something. That when he chokes you, he now knows you love it. When he shoves his fingers on your mouth, he now knows you're reeling at the feeling. When he restrains both of your wrists with just a single hand, given how huge his hand is. He might be your big, clingy baby at times, but he's a total daddy in bed. He likes to show power and dominance towards you—his pretty little angel.

Hi :)) im wondering if you could write a Remus fic with a suuuuper shy!reader? Reader loves him but poor baby can't even look at him omg. Love your fics darling🌙
hi lovelyyy,, thanks for requesting !! yes ofc i could :) i hope you like this !! ☁️🪽🫧🫧
one spoon for two
(remus lupin x reader)
contents : fluffy, shy reader, mentions of twoz book series bcs my ozian ass is obsessed with them😭🙏, not proofread
. • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆
it wasn't a secret that you were shy.
you don't talk much. you usually let the others do the talking and you listen. despite your lack of voice, your ears are fully open. which is not so much of a convenience really.
sometimes you worried that your friends get bored of you because you have nothing to say. it's not like you don't care, you do. you just don't quite know the right words to express what you think.
you only talk when it's necessary. when people talk to you first. that's why you've been getting frustrated lately.
sitting on the grass with a book open on your lap, you were focused on the neatly printed pages and illustrations on your book along with the sound of soft winds and dried leaves. well- that was until you saw the infamous marauder, james and sirius trotting on the ground while throwing a snitch at each other to catch.
you don't want to look at them. although every part of you wanted to steal a glance towards the kindhearted marauder, remus lupin.
he's the perfect combination of every good things in the world.
he is smart, funny, witty, caring, and so much more.
it takes everything in you to keep your little pupils away from his face. if you look at him, you were sure you'd blush and that would be embarrassing.
you got up slowly, escaping whatever you're feeling right now.
there he goes, averting his eyes to your moving figure. he frowns a little, knowing that you were quite shy in front of people and prefer being in the company of your own.
"whatcha looking there moony? your girl?" sirius quipped.
"she wouldn't even look at me," he shook his head. he wondered if you knew his feelings and were terrified.
"she's just shy, moony," james said, almost missing the snitch sirius threw.
the next time you were in the same room with him was in potions. you noticed how his hair flops in the prettiest way possible with the perfect shade of golden.
then the next second, he turned his head so you reluctantly look away immediately. thankful that he was turning to look at james and not you.
and god does the universe loves seeing you nervous!
your were partnered up with remus and james to brew a potion together.
the two boys walked towards your table. james skipping like a child while remus tried to keep his cool.
"hey darlin' i will be getting the ingredients yeah, and you and remus can set up the table," james grinned a friendly grin.
you nodded, whispering a 'yeah'. it wasn't loud, but remus heard it just as clear.
as you set up the table, remus tried talking to you, to hopefully get you comfortable and to show that he is a good person.
you didn't need him to do things just to prove he is a good person. you already knew that of course. he is nice to everyone. he's selfless and caring.
"hey, you alright?" he noticed your timid movements.
"yeah, m'fine," you said to him in such a quiet voice. you couldn't look at him, you're too shy to do so.
it was the middle of brewing when your hand brushed his while you were crushing pearls. "sorry," you mumbled.
"no need to apologise..." he frowned, confused as to why you were so... away from here yet you were in the same room. "you sure you're alright?" he continued, reaching for your palms.
he was shocked at himself. he just touched your hand? he's never done that to anyone except his marauders. but he didn't regret it though, your skin was so much softer than his. he felt like he's holding a ball of cotton.
your cheeks turned red when his hand grasped yours. your heart beating twice as fast. "remus, i'm promise im okay...," you answered.
remus squeezed your knuckles, sending a confused look to james in which he returned with a teasing grin that made remus rolled his eyes.
maybe he liked you. well- who's he kidding, of course he does! he saw you almost everyday, and you look so enchanting the entire time.
he thinks your hair is perfect. you styled it in the way that makes your pretty face prettier. your energy (or lack of energy) is cute too. you fumble with your words when people talk to you. and he thinks it's adorable and attractive at the same time.
the way you pushed your hair away from your eyes as you crushed those pearls. it was absolutely angelic.
"i think y/n likes you moons," james said when they were all sprawled on their dorm at the end of the day.
"i think so too" sirius agreed, chuckling as he threw a piece of crumpled up paper.
"me too." he said.
everyone stayed silent after that. mouth wide open. they never thought remus would be so confident saying that someone likes him (although it's not a bad thing, just out of remus' usual self deprecation).
"wha- no!" remus shook his head in disbelief. "i mean i like her too," he corrected shyly, his cheeks flushing.
"we know," the three of them said at the same time and bursted into laughter the next moment.
"it's quite obvious moony!" james said, "especially this morning when you held her hand. you never do that! let alone let us touch your little shoulder."
"it's different!"
"oh we know! you never look at me like you want to kiss my face off but you do look at y/n that way," james said.
"she always steals a millisecond to look at you y'know?" sirius snickered. enjoying the embarrassment his best friend is experiencing currently.
"don't lie, pads. she didn't even look at me the whole potions class," remus sighed.
"she's just shy, moony," sirius rolled his eyes. "if you really really and i mean really feel like you two can work out together, my advice is that you should reach out and talk to her. slowly but surely she'll be less nervous with you!"
and remus took sirius' advice. usually his advices are absurd and obnoxious but sirius has girls and boys falling for him left and right. surely he knows how to treat a girl right?
he saw you sitting at the library one evening. nose buried in your book. the only features he can see are your hair, forehead, and eyebrows.
and they all look pretty. your brows would furrow when you read something weird in the book.
it's hard to compose himself when you were there. just sitting peacefully with no care about the things surrounding you. you weren't even doing anything and he is smitten.
you heard shuffling besides you and you look up almost instantly, meeting a pair of honey green eyes in the colour like a comet in the sky.
you look away immediately, focusing on your book, growing nervous under his stare.
he smiled, "is it okay f'me to sit here?"
"yeah," you replied. you cringed at how short it was. you don't want to come off as rude or cold or anything but it's hard to speak a sentence.
"what're you reading there?" he asked, his voice sweet like candy.
"uh," you flipped your book around, to read off the title. "the road to emerald city of oz," you replied, tilting your chin towards him as you smile gently but still keeping your eyes firmly on the page.
"is it like a series? i heard about the wonderful wizard of oz somewhere," remus replied.
"it is," you nodded. it's hard to read when he's beside you like this. when you're the only thing in his view right now. when you're the only one in his head.
"do you have all the books?" he asked, just wanting to hear voice.
"i do," you finally flickered your eyes at him for a good two seconds before returning them back to your book. you blushed when you look at him. he was radiating comfort and care but you were too much in your feelings. eye contact is your weakness.
"can i borrow them?"
"you want to read them?" you looked at him again, this time a little longer and a little more confused. confused as to why anyone would be interested in what you like.
"why not? don't you like it?" he asked.
"i do," you replied. "i'm on the seventh book," you looked down again.
remus let out a soft chuckle, gazing at you like you're the most precious human being ever.
"huh?" you furrowed your brows. looking at his sweater instead of his face.
"you're so dear you know," he smiled.
your cheeks flushed red at his compliment. you didn't reply. didn't know how to.
"i'll get the book for you," you scrambled out of the library, heading to your dorm to give remus the first book in the series.
while being away from him, you collected yourself, taking deep breaths because he's so breathtaking that close. you've never been this close to him. he smells so good.
you were back in a jiffy, only to find out that remus has scooted more in the middle, making your legs touch when you sit down.
"oh yeah! just like what i heard "the wonderful wizard of oz," he nodded.
"sorry, it's a children's book," you replied in embarrassment, just realising that you were reading a book for children!
"oh i don't mind! i read cringy werewolf romance books and that makes you so much better than me," he laughed, seeing the small smile that appeared on your pretty lips.
the next time he was talking to you this close again was when he finished the first copy of your book. he had finished it in just two days, leaving you in surprise.
he read it so fast so he can find an excuse to spend time with you again. the story was quite alright, but he would not tell that to you.
"hi," he plopped down next to you in the library. same exact spot as last time. "i finished it!" he held up the book.
"oh that's great," you replied, surprised he was sitting here again next to you "did you like it?"
"i loved it! i can't believe the wizard of oz is just an old basic man! not even magic," he huffed childishly, making you giggle.
the sound is simply spa music to his ears.
"what's your favourite character?" remus asked.
"glinda."
"oh the witch... from the south?"
"yeah," you replied.
"next book?" he questioned.
you had it in your bag, ready to give it to him anytime. "i've got it here," you pulled it out.
remus smiled as your fingertips brushed past his in a quick incandescent touch.
this routine continued so and so until he noticed a few changes within yourself. you weren't that shy nor timid anymore. you still couldn't hold eye contact with him for more than five seconds but that's alright for him.
during those five seconds he is sure he has fallen in love. he couldn't help it. you're his crush since forever, it's bound to happen.
"hey, i finished glinda of oz!" remus cheered, putting down the book on his lap as he took in your appearance.
this was not at the dark library that shadows off your features. you were sitting on grass in the afternoon, making your skin glow under the golden rays of sunshine. he can see your pretty face clear now.
you smiled at him as he took a seat beside you, you actually feels secure enough around him to look at his face.
"that means you finished the whole series, rem," you let out a soft and proud but light chuckle.
"i now know why you love it so much!" remus smiled. he realised he always smiles when he's with you. you must have super powers.
"do you like glinda?" you asked.
"my favourite character is the tin wood man. he's funny, but yeah. since you like glinda so much then i guess she can be a favourite of mine too!" remus replied, rubbing circles in your knuckles.
just that little gesture he did made you shy all over again, unable to look at him like the first time you two were talking.
remus smiled again, gently taking your other hand with his other. "i want to ask you something, lovie," remus looked into your beautiful eyes.
your head is fuzzy. he called you 'lovie'. a nickname. you're sure you were warm in the face.
remus brushed his fingers on your left cheek with the softest touch known to men. "love..."
"yes...?"
"the next hogsmeade trip is this saturday.... do you want to er- like share the trip together- i mean as a date?" he looked at you with such fondness in his eyes.
"me?"
"yes you, lovie, look at me yeah?" remus gently cupped your cheeks.
you two were so close to the point that you can feel remus warmth radiating off of him.
"what do you say?"
"yeah," you nodded. embarrassment washing you again when all you said was just a 'yeah'.
"yeah yes or yeah no?" remus asked, a smile playing on his lips.
"yes i'll go with you," you were a blushing mess, trying to look away from his eyes but his soft hands kept tugging you back.
remus felt the heat from your cheeks in his palm. it was absolutely a fuzzy feeling knowing that you were showing likeness towards him.
he wanted to kiss you. doesn't have to be on the lips. he'd love to plant small kisses on your red cheeks. but he didn't of course. boundaries.
"settled then yeah? i'll be waiting at our common room, darling," he smiled.

what would you imagine azul’s ideal first date would be? whatever it was, he’d probably be very awkward, but would try to cover it up, of course, because azul?? being nervous?? no way!!
Don't Question Me!
Epic idea, dearest anon, I love flustered Azul hehe <3
Notes: Teasing reader bc I was in a silly goofy mood
If someone told Azul Ashengrotto that he would be closing the Lounge for an entire night just so he could deal with the anxiety he felt going out with his crush, he would've laughed in their face.
But here he was, sitting in a seat, desperately attempting to keep his composure while you looked at him with amusement in your eyes.
"Hey, Azul," you said, picking at your dinner. "Is something wrong?"
Azul hastily shook his head.
"No, not at all," he said.
You just grinned. He didn't like that look one bit.
"Really?" You said. "You seem nervous."
Azul scoffed. He couldn't let himself be so easily teased.
"Preposterous," he said. He didn't like the way your amusement only seemed to increase at that.
"You don't have to deny it, Azul," you teased. "It's normal to be nervous on a first date."
"I pride myself on deviating from the norm."
"Bold words. Can you prove them?"
What was your agenda here? Were you intending to get something from him? Was this all some convoluted blackmail attempt?
"Of course I can." Azul decided to answer your challenge. "How exactly do you intend for me to do it, then?
You smirked, as if you were completely certain that whatever you said next would render Azul defeated.
"Why don't you let me feed you, darling?"
His face warmed up. Curses.
How was he meant to respond to that? Let you? That seemed like the only way to avoid being teased here.
You sensed the embarrassment radiating off of him, if the way your grin widened was any indication.
"Unless, of course, you're too embarrassed?"
"P-Preposterous!" Azul exclaimed, cursing himself for how flustered he sounded.
"Prove it, then." You didn't give him a moment to compose himself before picking up some of the salad on his plate and putting it up to his mouth. "Say 'ah'."
What sort of game was this? It should've been so easy to just allow you, prove he wasn't flustered by intimacy, put an end to this tomfoolery of yours-
But he couldn't. His face had flushed, his palms dripping with sweat, as if this were some Herculean task rather than an act common during dates.
Why? He was ordinarily so composed - even when the most bone-chilling of insults and threats were hurled at him. He'd spent years ensuring he knew how to effortlessly navigate conversations, but it seemed like that had all been thrown out the window.
You seemed all too smug about this. That wouldn't do. He had to regain his composure.
"Apologies," he said, more mumbled. "I was merely confused at how stupid- er, unfamiliar your behavior is."
The fake Freudian slip - that usually worked. No one managed to see through it.
But, of course, it seemed you were an exception.
"You don't have to get all huffy just because you're too embarrassed to let me feed you, Azul," you crooned, and he could feel his face flush.
"I wasn't intending to call your traditions stupid, that was merely-"
"You never say the entire word when you accidentally say what you think about something," you said. "And your fist always clenches when you realize your mistake."
How did you know him so well? It was mortifying. Flattering, too, but he'd never say that aloud.
That was irrelevant. He had no defense here. What did he do?
"This is all a foolish endeavor," he said, and you merely laughed.
"Aww, is the infamous Octavinelle housewarden getting embawewassed?" Your baby talk was infuriating. "Or maybe you're just nervous?"
You really wanted to make him suffer, didn't you?
"Don't question me!" He said, sounding much louder than he intended. Curses.
He looked away, feeling his lips jut into a pout.
"I'm simply not- all that accustomed to romance."
There was something that felt oddly vulnerable about this, as if he'd just shown you his body lain bare.
He really wasn't. Before you, he hadn't even gone on a date in his life. No one wanted to get anywhere near the ugly little octopus boy from back then, after all.
Would you be the same? Had this all been some elaborate attempt to gather blackmail, or perhaps just a laugh at his expense? It certainly seemed like it.
Your face softened.
"I wasn't trying to make you feel bad, Azul," you said, seeming almost remorseful. "I just- It's so rare to see you out of your element for once. You're always so perfect, so in control that I just, uh, couldn't help but want to see more, y'know?"
That sudden shift in tone was odd.
Wait.
Had he said that out loud?
That wasn't good. He had to regain his composure, reassert himself, he wasn't just some awkward boy!
"It's nice, actually." Your odd statement pulled him from his thoughts.
"What?"
"You know, this," you said, gesturing to him vaguely. "Seeing you act- more like me. Like you're not some vaguely capitalist entity. You look cute when you get all flustered, too."
You thought he was cute? Preposterous. He wasn't cute, he was a businessman, he was intimidating.
And he was hideous. Did you honestly think highly of his appearance?
It felt- nice, in all honesty. Someone who thought he was attractive. But he couldn't assume.
"Spare me the flattery," he said, though he was smiling. "Now then-"
He stood from his seat, extending a hand.
"I'm aware our date's meant to conclude by now, but I must ask for you to continue things back in my dorm."
This was it. This was where he'd see if you were interested in continuing to date him or not. He'd picked out a weekend, made sure your schedule was completely clear, that you had no commitments to attend to. He'd kept this date short to avoid draining your energy.
Now, all that was left was to see how you acted.
You smiled, taking his hand.
"I would love that."

Hi I love ur work!! Would you mind doing a Robin x single mom reader and make it an angst to fluff. for example maybe Robin sees reader and her kid and thinks she’s straight and won’t get a chance but reader starts talking with Robin and they’re flirting and it’s going well. However Robin thinks she’s just being nice and still doesn’t believe that reader would like her so she tries to get over her crush on the reader. and then somehow reader sees Robin with someone else and gets upset thinking she’s not enough and that no one will want her bc she’s a single mom. Later on reader confronts Robin and they get into an argument and eventually they spill out how they feel and realize the miscommunication and fix their relationship and continue dating or something. If not I completely understand. Have a good day/night!! :)
I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it. Thank you for requesting 🫶🏻
The mess up
Robin sang quietly to herself as she stocked the empty shelves with movies. Steve was too busy flirting with girls to do his real job.
"Excuse me" a sweet voice came from behind Robin, she quickly turned around and her eyes widened as she saw one of the most hottest girls she had ever seen.
"Yes?" Robin squeaked out, her voice higher pitched as she felt herself grow nervous under the girl's gaze.
"Do you have a kid section?" Robin watched the girl's shiny lips move but barely heard a word. Robin opened her mouth like a fish as she tried to move. Her eyes looked at the girl up and down, she loved everything she was seeing.
"Mommy! I want my movie." Robin looked down at a smaller version of the girl in front of her. Robin heard Mommy clear as day. Robin blushed as she realized she was checking out a whole mom. The stranger didn't look that much older than Robin. Robin was still a teen, finishing her last year in high school, and only nineteen.
"Mommy is asking the pretty worker, have patience."
Robin blushed harder at the compliment, getting lost in the stranger's eyes and flirty smile.
"This way!" Robin said, a little too loudly. Some customers looked her way as she turned around. She tried to hide her red freckled face as she led the two towards the kid movie section.
"Go pick one out"
The young girl took off down the aisle
The stranger turned and looked at Robin. She looked at her name tag and all her pins.
"So Robin, what is your favorite type of movie?"
Robin felt goosebumps rise on her skin hearing the way her name sounded rolling off the pretty stranger's tongue.
"Oh um...comedy. I'm always up for a laugh. Or you know horror! But I feel like everyone says that, mostly boys because of the boobs and sex and..." Robin trailed off as she cringed. She groaned to herself and shyly covered her mouth before she said anything more.
"What about you? And maybe I can learn your name while I'm at it? Unless everyone calls you mommy." Robin awkwardly laughed. She realized how horrible her joke was when Steve appeared out of nowhere with a wild expression.
The stranger laughed, "My name is Y/N, usually just my daughter calls me mommy, but not mad about how it sounds coming from you"
Robin once again blushed and felt like a fish out of water. Even Steve stood behind Y/N with a smirk. He wiggled his eyebrows and Robin tried to glare over at him without Y/N noticing.
"I like horror movies, mostly for the killing and thriller. But the sex isn't always bad to watch." Y/N said, whispering the last part as her daughter raced to her with a movie in hand.
"Let me check you out!" Robin offered
Y/N grabbed her daughter's hand and walked to the main desk. She checked out the movie and held the receipt in her hand.
"Thanks for the help, Robin," Y/N said with a sweet smile. She left Robin speechless with a wink as she went out the door.
Steve whistled as he appeared next to Robin
"Damn Buckley, you scored a hot mom. I'm jealous." Steve pouted
Robin shrugged off what he said, "Oh please, I'm sure she's straight. She literally has a child."
"A lesbian can't be a mom? So hateful of you, Robin." Steve teased, scoffing as she shoved her shoulder.
~~
Robin would like to say the small interaction was out of her mind, but it wasn't. She woke up still thinking about Y/N. She tried to think if there was any truth behind Steve's words but Robin didn't want to give herself false hope.
She walked into work, clocked in, and sat in the back as Steve focused on the front.
She had been sorting through returns for almost two hours when Steve's head popped in the doorway.
"Momma's here." Steve winked, his palm smacking the door frame as he walked back out.
Robin waited a few seconds, trying not to look desperate before she walked out of the room. She smoothed out her clothes and fluffed her hair.
And Steve was right
There she was standing in the comedy section, her daughter at her feet.
"I'd recommended National Lampoon's Vacation, very hilarious."
Y/N turned around and smiled as she saw Robin
"I'll take your word for it," Y/N said, grabbing the movie
Robin checked out the movie and tried to stop herself from saying anything dumb.
"Since you recommend it, would you maybe want to watch it with me?" Y/N asked
~
That's how Robin found herself nervously sitting on Y/N's couch. The movie title plays as Y/N finishes grabbing the popcorn and drinks.
"Glass of wine?" Y/N asked from over her shoulder
Robin watched as she filled a glass
"Um I'm actually not old enough, water is fine." Robin awkwardly laughed
Y/N froze and turned her head. "Please tell me you aren't like sixteen."
"Nineteen, almost twenty!" Robin clarified
"That's a relief. Didn't want the cops at my door." Y/N laughed. She walked over with the drinks and popcorn. She set it on the table and clicked play.
Throughout the movie, they ate, talked, and laughed. Robin could feel a strong crush growing on Y/N and it made her nervous.
As the credits rolled, there was no space left between them.
"And that's when I found out I was pregnant," Y/N said as she finished her story.
"And the dad?" Robin asked
"Deadbeat." Y/N shrugged, "just another ex-boyfriend." Y/N joked
But Robin gulped, she had multiple ex-boyfriends. Never once said anything about dating a girl. She had to have been straight and was just being overly friendly with Robin.
~~~
A few days passed and Robin felt conflicted. She knew she could ask Y/N and get all the answers she needed, but of course, she wouldn't do that. They hung out a few more times, Y/N's daughter Blair took a huge liking to Robin and loved having her around.
Robin convinced herself Y/N was straight and following that crush was a lost cause. She could settle for friends and maybe be a babysitter for little Blair.
So when a girl from school asked Robin out, she said yes.
~
Robin and Vickie sat at the ice cream parlor. Robin was laughing at a joke Vickie made when the bell rang. Robin kept her eyes on Vickie as more customers filled the small shop.
"OBIN!"
Robin turned when she heard the sound of Blair yelling her name. She was still young and didn't know how to pronounce a strong r sound, so obin was her nickname.
Robin gulped as the girl ran to her, a sick feeling in her stomach.
"Hi" Robin smiled
Vickie watched with a smile, adoring the way Robin held the small girl.
Y/N felt an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach as she followed Blair. Robin sat across a pretty red-haired girl, sharing a milkshake with two straws. It seemed intimate and Y/N gulped when she realized Robin was on a date.
Y/N tried to not seem bothered. It wasn't like she and Robin were official, just went on a few dates. Robin was allowed to date other people, even if Y/N had no interest in dating anyone else.
"Sorry!" Y/N apologized, grabbing Blair from Robin's arms. "Blair you can't interrupt." Y/N quietly scolded the little girl.
"She's fine," Robin said, a small smile as she waved at Blair.
"We will let you go back to your date," Y/N said, putting on her best fake smile as she walked to the front of the shop.
Robin wished Y/N had more of a reaction but she didn't seem bothered at all. The thought made Robin sigh sadly.
Y/N was quick to get Blair's ice cream and get the hell out of there. Her throat felt like it was covered in barbed wire as she tried not to cry.
It had been so long since Y/N found herself crushing on someone and going on dates. She knew dating would be hard because she was a single mom, but she thought Robin might have been an exception.
But she wasn't. Because she was on a date with another girl and Y/N was crying in her car as her daughter ate her ice cream.
~~~
Robin was an anxious person so she already believed everyone she talked to was mad at her. So when she hadn't seen Y/N in weeks or received any sort of call, she knew Y/N had to have been pissed.
Robin feared rejection so she never reached out.
Leaving them apart for a few more weeks.
Y/N eventually decided she needed to be a grown-up and not hide from Robin. Blair was with the babysitter as Y/N ran her errands.
She let out a nervous breath as she walked into the video store. She kept her head down as she looked through the racks. Blair had been begging for a new movie to watch and Y/N could only say no so many times.
She grabbed the movie and walked to the counter. Robin blinked a few times to see if Y/N truly was in front of her.
"Hi," Robin said softly
"Hi," Y/N said with a small smile, she handed over the movie and waited for Robin to ring it through.
"How have you been? Haven't seen you lately." Robin asked
"I've been good. How about you?" Y/N asked politely, even though she did not want to be having a conversation.
"uh yeah, good too." Robin stuttered, she was hurt. They hadn't spoken in weeks and Y/N was doing perfectly fine?
"Well, I'll see you around," Y/N said as she walked out
But Robin couldn't let it go
She followed her out of the shop
"Okay, wait!" Y/N turned around and sighed.
"I haven't seen you or heard from you in weeks, and you are just doing fine? Are you mad at me for something?" Robin asked
"No, I'm not, Robin," Y/N said
"But I think you are. You usually call me and we hang out and watch movies. We talk and laugh. And now nothing is going on. So I will ask again, are you mad at me?"
"No"
"Yes you are"
"Robin, leave it"
"Be honest with me!" Robin demanded
"I am!" Y/N fought back
Their voices rose in the parking lot
"NO YOU'RE NOT!"
"ROBIN DROP IT"
"YOU'RE MAD AT ME AND I WANT TO KNOW WHY" Robin screamed
"BECAUSE YOU LED ME ON!" Y/N screamed
Robin stood stunned as Y/N regained her breath, calming herself down.
"I led you on? I don't understand." Robin explained, her voice raspy from the yelling.
Y/N scoffed, "Don't understand? We've been on dates, you've connected with my daughter, and we shared gentle touches. I thought we had something and I found you on a date with another girl. Understand now, Robin?"
Robin flinched at the harsh tone Y/N spoke with. Her jaw clenched and so much anger in her eyes.
"I-I didn't know that's how you saw it." Robin admitted, "I was worried you were seeing us as friends so I went out with someone else. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lead you on."
"Did you see us as friends?" Y/N asked
"No, I wanted it to be way more than friends," Robin admitted, she nervously stepped forward but Y/N didn't move. Robin took a few steps closer.
"Do you like that girl?" Y/N asked, crossing her arms as Robin was even closer than before.
"Not the same way I like you," Robin admitted, softly grabbing Y/N's arms and uncrossing them.
"I'm sorry that I fucked this up. Can we give it another shot? Please?" Robin whispered, she wrapped her arms around Y/N's neck and slowly leaned in.
"Let's see what you got, Buckley," Y/N smirked, holding Robin's chin as she crashed her lips onto hers.
Robin felt her toes curl as she moaned into the kiss.
Safe to say Robin wouldn't assume things again.

Would you still love me if I was a worm? ☻
Percy Jackson x gn!reader
Summary: Percy is dating Annabeth (love percabeth). But reader is swept away by Percy and can't help their feelings. Eventually, they talk and start dating. Everyone is suddenly distant to reader bc they ruined the best ship. Reader is insecure but Percy would gladly spend all his life reassuring them.
Fluff 💙💙🪼🌊🔱⚜️
On the radio~
🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼🪼
(1st person)
There goes Percabeth, I thought bitterly. I have always had a crush on percy, but Annabeth got to him first. I didn't have anything against Annabeth, I just thought it was unfair. Unfair because I lost. "Y/n!" I had most the whole world tuned out as I read my book, sitting at a random bench near the lake, the sun hiting bare shoulders since I was just wearing a bikini, trying to tan. "Y/n!" oh. They're talking to me. Great. I looked up to see Percy's toned figure and sea-green eyes staring back at me with a bright smile. "Oh. Hey, Perce," I put on a fake smile as I speak. "Sorry, I tuned you out!" "No worries! Happens to the best of us, " he said, smiling. "What's up?" I could've sworn he had checked me out, but I wasn't so sure. "Oh yknow, trying to get a tan, reading, the usual." I said. "Oh, alright. Have fun!" he said, about to leave. "Wait! Perce!" I said, Calling out to him before could leave. Percy didn't say anything, he just waited for me to speak. "I... I know that you are dating Anna, an you guys are best best couple I've ever seen, but- but I like you..." I looked up Percy to see him staring at me in shock. "W-well...Im not dating Annabeth anymore..." he said. "Wait wha-" I was shocked at the least. "We decided to stick as friends because she is going through a sexuality crisis," he seemed calm but almost nervous and jittery at the same time. "I like you too, Y/n. Maybe we can date?..." he looked at me hopefully. "Of course!" she said, wanting to scream in joy.
(3rd person)
Fast forward to a couple months later. They decide to go public with their relationship and now a majority of her friends we're way more distant. Her stuff is often vandalized with words like 'slut!' and 'homewrecker'. People often spread rumours about her when she wasn't listening— when they thought she wasnt listening. He never voiced this to Percy, for multiple reasons. One, what if they're right? Is she a slut and a homewrecker? Would Percy stop loving her if he saw a different perspective? Two, what if he didn't care or didn't believe her? What would she do then? She also has always feel insecure about her body and just herself in general. Would Percy not like her if she wasn't confident? She needs to stop being an ugly coward. The two of them were actually on a date right now, and they were sitting on the beach. "Baby, what's wrong?" Percy asked, clearly concerned for his beautiful girlfriend. "Oh. Nothing..." she said, putting on a heavily fake smile. "Y/n L/n, my love, my girl, darling. Please don't lie to me." he said. He might have the nickname 'seaweed brain', but he wasn't an idiot. "I'm sorry for ruining it." she started sniffling. "For what?" Percy was genuinely confused, his beloved, beautiful, girlfriend couldn't possibly do any wrong. "Ruining your relationship." she was sobbing into his chest, the sea-salty scent blanketing her in a comforting warmth. "Baby.... No..... You didn't do anything." he lifted her chin with his index finger. "We broke up before you confessed, remember?" "oh...." she said, feeling stupider than usual. "Am I a slut?..." she asked. Percy's eyes widened and he tackled her into a hug, spooning her while laying in the sand. "Who told you that?" he asked, his voice suddenly becoming protective and menacing. "E-everyone..." she said quietly. "Everyone spreads rumours about me and calls me name. In front of me and behind my back. They say that I ruined you and Annabeths relationship." she sighed into his arm. "I'm ugly and not confident. Why do you like me?" Percy audibly gasped at this, his precious is none of those things. "You aren't any of these things. You may act and look different than others, but no one looks the exact same. You are gorgeous, if not in your eyes, in mine. I chose to date you for a reason." he hugged her tighter in a slightly possessive way. "Mine." he said, his voice muffled since his face was burried in her neck.

Obey Me Brothers With a Sensitive MC <3
It was safe to say you were sensitive, back when Melanie Martinez's music was a lot better, you really could say that the song 'Crybaby' pretty much encapsulated your entire being, it still did, but you liked to think you were more mature in your music taste now. (You weren't)
Being suddenly catapulted into the Devildom did a number on your emotions, and you found yourself quite numb. But as you adjusted, and bonded with the others, you found that you were back to your usual self, which was a crybaby.
So then how do the brothers react?
LUCIFER
Great. Two Mammons.
At least Mammon No.2 (you) isnt a tsundere about it.
Lucifer does not like seeing you cry. Even if its because something is cute, (although he does find it quite adorable, not that he'd admit it)
This demon is of the opinion that tears should never disgrace your beautiful eyes.
He will invite you to listen to his records with him and purposely put on sad ones or really sweet ones so you grip onto him while you tear up,
He is a demon, after all. ;)
MAMMON
Finally. Someone who cries more than him!
It actually makes him feel safer around you, like you wont bully him for being more sensitive than his brothers.
Actually ends up dropping a lot of his tsundere act around you.
You watch movies together, but always have to check the Devildom version of 'doesthedogdie.com'
Idk, I feel like Mammon would give you a bit of bother for it at first but then slowly start to like, open up more, because he really does see himself in you like that.
LEVIATHAN
He blanks.
One day you start crying because of how cute the anime you both were watching was, Levi thought you were geniunely upset, so he tried to cheer you up.
You end up thinking that its really sweet and start crying harder.
Leviathan PANICKS.
Even now, he still gets really nervous when you start crying, and has popped into his demon form more times than he can count when you grab onto him and sniffle.
Please he's already so awkward he can't handle how cute you are.
You might make him start crying as well :(
SATAN
Satan 100% gets so angry he starts crying so he can kind of understand it.
He's just glad you cry over positive things :)
His favourite moment was definetly when you teared up over a small kitten. (He took several photos and also took the kitten home)
Like Lucifer he 100% invites you to read with him and picks the fluffiest most adorable romance he can find, or the saddest most heartbreaking romance he can find.
He likes when you cling onto him and look up at him with those big teary eyes.
He's a demon. What did you expect, ;)
ASMODEUS
He thinks you're adorable.
Any emotion on your face is adorable to him actually. <3
If you wear makeup he makes sure to get you waterproof mascara and other eye makeup so your beautiful tears dont ruin your beautiful makeup <3
If any of you remember that crying girl makeup trend? Yeah he deffo starts that up in the Devildom (a) to make you feel less embarrassed about it and (b) because he thinks youre so beautiful when you express yourself.
BEELZEBUB
He doesn't cry a lot, it's not exactly something that comes naturally to him at all.
Its not that he CANT cry or that he holds his tears back, its just that he doesn't normally process or reaction to things with tears.
Only in serious serious situations will he cry.
So when he sees you crying over one of those little onigiri things that are literally adorable, he thinks that you've somehow hurt yourself. (i nabbed this off of pinterest)
Beel panics, and mentally goes over the ingredients in his head, did he order something with an ingredient that was dangerous to humans?
He calms down when he realises that you're crying because it looks cute.
He feels you with that.
Makes an effort to take you to more places with food items displayed in cute ways.
Though you do have to look away while Beel cuts them up for you, otherwise you wouldnt be able to eat it.
BELPHEGOR
He laughs at you.
Point blank.
Originally when he's in the attic he uses your sensitivity as a way to manipulate you.
But post lesson 16, he really starts to appreciate it more.
This bastard will use his powers as the youngest sibling against you, he'll dress up in cute onesies and give you puppy eyes, all to coax you into taking naps with him.
Which you do.
I have no idea how half of these fuckheads would react tbh

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑 [𝐓𝐖𝐎] — 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐗𝐀
one / masterlist / wattpad
summary: as you adjust to your new life as the Commander's healer, you're forced to watch her fall in love with someone else.
warning/s: mentions of injuries, violence, graphic deaths, the usual stuff that comes with writing for the 100.
author's note: second and final part is here! sorry it’s a little delayed, it’s been a busy one lately! pray i get out of my writing funk bc i miss it so much 😭 anyway, i hope you enjoy this one, i didn’t know how to end it, warning you now lol. Also any mentions of Costia are completely made up based off what i could remember, plus i tried to keep her appearance as vague as possible as she’s technically not got a face claim lol. Enjoy!!
Lexa fell into the role of Commander as if it were her birthright, which I suppose in a way it was.
Nothing fazed her, not the meeting on meeting that filled her days, or the responsibilities now weighing on her shoulders, or even the expectations everyone in the city had for her to be as great a Commander as the last one. She took it all in her stride, performing her duties the best she could. I couldn't have been prouder.
Working with her only made things better for us, since I wasn't sure I'd have seen her as much if I didn't. She was always busy, but she always made time for me. Though she had Titus to go to for guidance, she would still confide in me, a habit I was sure would be difficult to break. I, of course, offered all the help I could. Leading was important to her and she was important to me. What more was there?
It didn't make a difference to me, but clearly Titus thought more of it than I realised. It was a few months into Lexa's new role when he thought to bring it up to me. I was bringing a tray of mine and Lexa's dinner to her quarters one evening, the two of us having planned to eat together, when I saw Titus approaching me in the hall.
"Y/N," he acknowledged with a curt nod and narrowed eyes. "May I speak with you?"
"Right now?" I asked, lifting a brow and glancing at the tray in my hand.
"It won't be long," he assured me, barely giving me chance to reply before he continued, "It's about you and Lexa."
"What about us?"
He seemed mildly irritated as he spoke, "I know that you're a big part of her life, but in the past, you've happened to keep your distance. Now that she's Heda, I expect it to stay that way. No distractions."
I furrowed my brows with confusion. "I'm sorry, I don't follow..."
He tensed his jaw, lowering his voice. "I'm not blind, Y/N. I see the way you care for her."
"Yeah, she's my best friend," I remind him, though a small part of me was nervous at what he was implying.
He wasn't stupid, instead rolling his eyes at my response. "Be sure to keep it that way."
I swallowed hard. "That all?"
"That's all," he said with a hint of annoyance, before walking past me.
My fingers gripped the tray with frustration as I kept walking to Lexa's room. How could he know of my feelings for her? I kept them well hidden for many reasons. And even so, what did he expect from Lexa? To never fall in love? Be married to her work? That was preposterous.
Admittedly, his words had more of an effect on me than I thought, rattling around my brain as I joined Lexa in her quarters.
"...are you alright?" she asked me after accepting her dinner. "You seem distracted."
I blinked, meeting her eyes. It would have been easy to tell her that Titus was being confrontational and rude for no reason. One word and she'd boot him out, no questions asked. But as much as I hated him, he was somewhat good for her, having guided the previous Commander too. Lexa couldn't do this alone, she needed someone with experience. Experience I didn't have. Stirring discontent between them would be for nothing other than a personal vendetta, and a worthless one at that.
No, I couldn't do that.
"Sorry, it's just been a long day," I lied, offering her a small smile. "Bit tired."
"Well, eat your dinner and you can go off to sleep," she said with a soft smile, patting my shoulder.
I nodded, putting her at ease enough for her to dig into her own dinner.
Truthfully, Titus had nothing to worry about. I was too cowardly to make a move anyway.
—
17 years old...
I should have known it would happen eventually. What was I to expect? That she'd stay single forever?
It didn't make it easier to deal with though, especially because the girl in question was absolutely lovely and I couldn't hate her for any reason other than she was with the girl I loved.
Lexa and I were returning to the Tower from a meeting she had at someone's house in the centre of the city when they met. It was a little busier than usual today because of some sales on produce nearby, so we were manoeuvring our way through the crowd. As we did, Lexa accidentally walked right into an oncoming girl, a bit too harshly than intended, and immediately went to apologise.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I–" she started, steadying the stranger, but she stopped short when she looked up.
"Oh, no, I'm sorry," the girl apologised, smiling softly, and then her eyes met Lexa's, animated and beautiful and captivating Lexa in an instant. "I should've watched where I was going."
I glanced at Lexa, who was entranced, expression softening and mouth slightly open.
"Who are you?" she asked without thinking. "I haven't see you here before."
"My name is Costia," the girl introduced herself, as captivated by Lexa as she was with her. "I'm from Floukru, but I moved here for a change."
Lexa smiled, putting out her forearm respectfully. "It's nice to meet you, Costia. I'm Lexa."
Costia returned her forearm shake, but then realisation crossed her expression. "Wait, Lexa as in Heda Lexa?"
She was about to kneel, but Lexa stopped her with a chuckle, certainly surprising me. She was already infatuated, it was obvious, and I felt uneasy.
"It's okay, there's no need for that," Lexa assured her with sparkling eyes.
Everything about the way she looked at her to the way she couldn't seem to remember I was even here irked me. She liked her, clearly, and I couldn't blame her. Costia was everything I wasn't. She had the complete opposite features to me, a delicate nature about her, and she wasn't afraid to make her attraction to Lexa obvious.
I gave them space, not that they noticed, and my suspicions were confirmed later that evening when Lexa gushed about her crush on this mystery girl, having asked her out when I left.
The jealousy was poisoning me, but I couldn't blame anyone except myself.
It didn't take long for them to officially get together, to my dismay. And because of this, it meant I spent less time with Lexa because she was spending most of her free time with Costia. Titus didn't take this new development any better than I, looking just as bitter as I felt, though for different reasons.
He made it known to me when we were both in the throne room one time, waiting on the side as Lexa had called us in for our counsel on something, but was first finishing her conversation with Costia. I avoided looking their way, resisting the urge to roll my eyes from nothing other than an innate and unfair jealousy. Titus, however, was glaring holes in their direction.
"I don't like this," he mumbled to me.
I sighed. "I bet."
At this, he tore his gaze from them to glare at me. "You weren't this bad."
"Gee, thanks."
He rolled his eyes. "Costia is going to be a massive distraction."
I glanced at him disapprovingly. "She won't. Lexa is happy. Leave her be."
As if annoyed that I didn't disapprove as he did, he scoffed quietly and crossed his arms, continuing to glare at them.
Unlike him, I couldn't hate on their relationship, not even because I was jealous. Costia was lovely, carefree, kind and she made Lexa happier than ever. Plus, she was nothing short of nice to me every time she saw me. How could I hate that?
—
I thought I was finally getting used to them together, but there were still times when I felt like I'd been replaced, as horribly selfish as it sounded.
With the intention of grabbing Lexa for a meeting, I let myself into her room as I always did, but realised she was sat on the bed and Costia was stood over her.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt," I said awkwardly, unsure what I was even interrupting.
As I backed up to leave, Costia stepped to the side to reveal Lexa with war paint swiped across her eyes.
"Doesn't she look daring?" Costia said with a proud smile, paint in her hand.
Despite the bittersweet feeling of it all, I couldn't help but smile at Lexa. "Of course."
Lexa returned my smile and stood up, before saying to Costia, "It was actually Y/N who first put this on for me. When we were kids. And then it just... stuck."
The memory was as fresh as ever, leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, how things had changed since then.
"You had the right idea," Costia told me sweetly, before looking to Lexa with adoration. "It looks great."
I swallowed hard, forcing a smile. As they gazed at each other, I felt like a third wheel and decided to leave.
"What did you need, Y/N?" Lexa called before I could.
"Just grabbing you for the meeting, but I'll meet you in the throne room," I said nonchalantly.
She smiled, nodding. "Okay. See you in a minute."
Deflated, I left. Just another thing to get used to.
—
19 years old...
The scream was ear-piercing, strained with utter horror and ricocheting off the Tower walls. I woke with a fright, jumping out my skin. I didn't even need to be told – I knew who it was immediately and my heart squeezed into nothingness as I left my bed and hurried down the hall where Lexa's quarters were.
The guards that watched the halls were too slow for my liking, trailing behind me like lost lambs. I took the lead, concerned and confused and uneasy as I pushed her doors open. I feared what I'd find.
Lexa was who I saw first, on the floor in her nightgown as if she'd just gotten out of bed, leaning back on her hands and trembling so much I thought she'd shatter.
"Lexa!" I rushed to her side, kneeling down with worry. "What is it? What's wrong?"
In all my life, I'd never seen her afraid, not like this, and certainly not enough to elicit a scream like she had. What could it be?
I followed her tear-filled gaze, noticing a box at the foot of her bed. Reluctantly, I let go of her and approached the box, and it was a sight I'd never forget.
There sat Costia'a head, lifeless eyes forced open and fresh blood still staining her beheaded neck.
My hand came to my mouth immediately and I looked away, afraid I'd throw up if I didn't. I caught the glaring symbol on the inside of the box though – the symbol of Azgeda, Lexa's biggest enemy – and knew who was responsible.
The guards were just as taken aback as I was, freezing by the door when they noticed the head. Lexa's sobs pulled me from my momentary shock and I immediately looked to the guards with as much confidence as I could muster. They couldn't see their Commander falter like this, not if I could help it.
"What are you waiting for?!" I shouted at them. "Remove this now!" As they jumped at my words, and eventually into action, I continued, "And find out who broke in here last night! Up the security!"
They nodded frantically, carefully taking the box out of there and leaving Lexa and I alone. I returned to her side, where she was still staring at the spot where the box was, glassy eyes widened with horror.
"Lexa, I'm sorry," I said, pulling her in for a hug, hating the way she trembled. "I'm so sorry."
Her sobs were silenced in my shirt and she clutched me so tightly I was sure I'd have bruises, but I didn't care. I was still in utter shock, unable to believe Costia was dead at the hands of Azgeda. I knew we'd had tension with them for a while now, all because their queen didn't trust Lexa in power, but I never thought they'd stoop this low.
Costia deserved better... so did Lexa.
—
She wasn't the same after that. I couldn't blame her. Finding someone you loved, beheaded, at the foot of your bed? When you'd only just kissed them goodnight the night before? It was traumatising. Hell, it still haunted me!
We held a funeral, but Lexa didn't shed another tear after the morning she found her. She was much quieter, much more closed off, as if numb to the whole situation. Even when I visited her after the funeral, concerned for her well-being, she told me to leave. I didn't want to, but maybe space was what she needed, so I obeyed.
There were no leads on how the box was delivered, nor who delivered it. The guards were still searching, making enquiries, but it seemed futile. Horrifyingly enough, Costia's body was never found, so we could only burn the head. It was disgusting, the emotional warfare Azgeda were playing on Lexa.
Costia had nothing to do with any of this, she'd only been unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And it was something Lexa never forgave herself for.
The girl I'd come to know as easygoing and full of life was gone, completely replaced by this shell of a person. At first, she was isolating herself from everyone, only throwing herself into her duties and responsibilities as Heda. It took a long several months for her to fully grieve Costia, for her to finally open up to me again, but she wasn't the same.
I couldn't recall the last time I'd seen her smile or laugh. It was as if her happiness had died with Costia and I understood why, but I hated seeing her like that.
We were in archery practice one day, the two of us sometimes training together like old times. I was growing tired, looking forward to when it would end so we could do something a little more fun.
"Do you wanna go for a swim after this?" I asked her, the idea coming to me at that moment. "In the lake, like we used to?"
She didn't spare a glance my way as she lined up her next shot. "I have more important matters to attend to, Y/N."
"C'mon, it'll be fun," I said encouragingly as she let the arrow fly through the air, finding the centre of the target with ease. "It's warm out and the lake will be refreshing."
"No," she said simply, going to collect her arrow.
I sighed quietly, watching her with a concerned gaze. Gently, I spoke, "Look, I know it's been hard, but I'm here for you and I think that, maybe, not working as hard might make this–"
"What?" she interrupted harshly, finally looking at me, though with a fiery glare. I jumped at volume of her voice, not expecting it. "Easier? How? How can it be easier when Azgeda are plotting to overthrow me every single day? How will a dip in the lake fix that?!"
I swallowed awkwardly, unsure what to say. It felt stupid now.
"We're not kids anymore," she reminded me with a sneer.
I frowned. "I know. Sorry. I don't mean–"
"You're forgiven," she cut me off, looking away with a clenched jaw. "End of discussion."
I chewed on the inside of my cheek as she returned to her stance before the target, lining up another shot. And just like that, we were back to archery.
—
21 years old...
It was supposed to be a simple rescue mission. In and out of Azgeda's prison camps, rescuing our people and leaving before they'd even notice.
But everything went wrong when they caught us escaping.
Arrows were flying, swords were wielded and, in the midst of chaos, I saw that a few of our own were struck down. We needed to leave, fast.
Those of us who could mounted their horses, prisoners with them, and raced out of there whilst a few stayed back to buy us time. Lexa was one of them, mounting her horse and taking a few of Azgeda's soldiers out on the way. I was close behind, the last of our party to leave, and pushed my horse as fast as I could. Unfortunately for me, before I could even make it out of the snowy lands of Azgeda's territory, a loose arrow caught my horse's front leg and I went flying forward as a result.
The wind was knocked from me as I landed face first in the snow, the cold already seeping through my clothes and my whole body aching from the fall. But I couldn't stay put for long, already hearing someone on my tail.
It took me a lot of effort to push myself off the ground, finding my sword which had luckily not impaled me on the fall. As soon as I turned around, I saw one of the Azgeda prison guards hurtling towards me, his own sword raised as he let out a battle cry. I held my ground, grip tightening on my sword, and immediately blocked his swing as he came at me.
Luckily for me, my sword fighting had much improved over the years, mostly due to Lexa's constant need for training, and it aided me in this fight as I blocked every swing from my opponent. He was large and strong, albeit slow, so at my best opportunity, I parried his swing and used the power of it to go around him, stabbing him through the back.
A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I yanked my sword out, watching him collapse in the snow. My success was short lived however, as I heard barking from behind me and turned around a second too late. A wild dog – one of the ones the Azgeda army trained for battle – raced through the trees and leapt on me, going straight for my leg.
I screamed as its sharp teeth sunk right into my calf, at the orders of its owner who was approaching us but only watching as I struggled. Instinctively, I swung my sword, but the dog was merely inconvenienced, moving back to bark at me before leaping at me again. This time, I was knocked backwards into the snow, dropping my sword. It reattached its teeth to my leg, piercing flesh and bone and oblivious to my weak attempts at kicking it away. I felt like I couldn't breathe, the pain too strong to even acknowledge.
Suddenly, an arrow flew through the air, landing right in the dog's head and killing it instantly. It didn't matter to me though – my leg felt like it was in tatters and I was starting to see spots in my vision. Not even the cold of the snow was a bother to me anymore – I could have been dipped in fire at that moment and known no difference.
"Y/N!" someone shouted after me.
My people had returned, dismounting their horses as they fought off the Azgeda stragglers, including that wretched dog's owner.
Lexa was with them, having come back to my aid. She let her people deal with the remaining Azgeda soldiers, instead coming to my side with a concerned look. Her eyes glanced between me and my leg and, judging from her expression, it wasn't great.
"I need help over here!" she yelled to her solders.
Two members of our party rushed to my side, attempting to carry me, but even the slightest bit of movement had me screeching in agony.
"Be gentle!" Lexa ordered, and they were suddenly less rough. She took my hand, squeezing it gently. "You're gonna be okay. We're going home."
All I could manage was a weak nod, tears burning my eyes.
We must have made it back to Polis, though I couldn't be sure it was without disruption as I passed out not long after they placed me on a horse.
When I awoke, I recognised the healer's room at the Tower, though it felt strange being the one in the bed rather than the healer. I couldn't remember why I was here, still in a daze, and then I heard a sigh of relief and looked to my right to see Lexa standing up, touching my cheek with relief.
It was unusual seeing the tears down her cheeks and her red, puffy eyes staring down at me. She hadn't cried this much since Costia died years ago. Was I hurt that bad?
"What happened?" I asked tiredly, not quite adjusting to the aches and pains in my body.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," she said with a watery voice. "I should've got to you sooner."
Got to me sooner...?
And then it came back to me. Our people. Azgeda. The dog. My leg.
My eyes widened as I put Lexa's words together with what I remembered and then I was quick to try and sit up to see if my leg was okay, but Lexa tried to stop me.
"Y/N, just wait–"
"Let go!" I shouted, shoving her off long enough to finally see what I feared.
My lower left leg was gone. All that remained was a bloody, bandaged stump, ending at my knee. I could barely believe what I was looking at, eyes watering at the sight.
"It was the only way," she said regretfully. "It was badly infected and the bites were too deep. They couldn't save it."
Her words went in one ear and out the other. All I could see was the spot where my leg used to be.
"It's gone," I whispered, voice trembling.
Her hand rested on my shoulder gently. "Y/N..."
I touched my knee and then the spot after it, where my calf should've been. And then I felt something break inside of me and the tears finally fell.
Lexa sat beside me, pulling me into her chest and holding me tightly. "It's okay. You're okay. I'm here."
But it wasn't okay, was it? Nothing was okay.
—
The next few days were some of the hardest I'd endured.
Lexa stayed by my side the whole time, only leaving to bring me food or see the healers looking after me. I couldn't bear to look at her, nor my father, who stopped by regularly too.
Everything was so futile to me. Without my leg, I would never walk the same again. And how would I continue to be a combat medic if I couldn't even stand? How could I work at Lexa's side? I was useless. And I couldn't stand it.
My feelings left me in a pit of depression, my appetite gone and my will to recover completely absent. I couldn't see a future where I'd feel like myself again, and no matter who was there to support me, I refused their help.
I was sulking yet again, staring at the wall and soaking in my own misery since there was nothing else to do. Lexa had left to get me some food and, truthfully, I was glad. Her constant worrying and fretting at my side was doing nothing to help.
The logical part of me was grateful she cared, but the emotional part won over and I seriously hated having her around right now, not when I couldn't think straight about anything other than my missing leg.
My momentary peace was interrupted when Lexa returned, tray of food in hand which she set on the table beside my bed.
"It's time to eat something, Y/N," she said softly, hand resting on my hand, but I snatched it away.
Ignoring her, I continued to stare at the wall ahead, void of feeling.
"Y/N, please, you have to eat," she said, unfazed by my mood.
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes as I purposely looked to the left, away from her, hoping she'd get the hint. Of course, she didn't.
"Don't be like that," she said, a little sterner this time, and it infuriated me because why couldn't I be like that? Who was she to tell me otherwise?
"I can do what I want," I snapped at her with a glare. "I'm not hungry, so just leave me alone already."
Her lips twitched into a slight frown, but she didn't move. "You're not going to get better if you don't eat," she said firmly.
"Get the damn hint and go away! I don't need your help!" I said bitterly.
She swallowed hard, green eyes flickering between mine with an unreadable expression, before leaving the room. I glared a hole into the space where she left, eyes burning with tears, and was overcome by an immediate guilt.
It was easier to push her away now, as much as it hurt to do so. At least this way she wouldn't notice how much of a burden I would become. Cripples had no place working under the Commander, best friend or not. And I wasn't sure I could handle being fazed out by Lexa in time.
Despite how awful the whole situation was, I couldn't bring it in myself to face her. She tried to return after my outburst, but I made sure Nyko refused her entry. I was surprised it worked, considering she was the Commander and could do whatever she wanted. She still found her way back in over the course of the next week, but I continued to ignore her, wanting her to lose interest on her own and stop visiting me.
I should have known trying to get Lexa to do anything was impossible though, as when she showed up once more, ignoring my request through Nyko to leave me alone, she had a whole speech prepared.
"I said I didn't want to see you," I mumbled tiredly upon noticing her walk in without warning.
She ignored me and stopped by my bed. "You don't get to request that."
I rolled my eyes, my usual self-deprecating attitude written all over my face. But unlike the past few weeks, she wasn't accepting it anymore.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" she suddenly shouted, surprising me.
I finally looked to her, surprised to see her shooting me a fiery glare.
"I almost lost you, don't you see that?" she continued, giving me no chance to respond. "I watched you bleed all over the bed as they assessed the damage. Watched as you came to and from consciousness, as they cut off your leg. They thought you were going to die from the blood loss. And now you're okay and what? You're pushing me away?! For what? Pride?!"
I pressed my lips together, tensing my jaw, face hot with shame and self-pity.
"Well, I refuse," she said decisively. "I'm staying and you can't get rid of me. No matter how many times you try to tell Nyko."
Even as I closed my eyes, I could feel tears welling up. Why was she so stubborn?
Her voice cracked as she continued, "They're moving you back to your room tomorrow."
I looked away, unsure what to say, and then she took my hand between hers and I couldn't bring it in myself to pull away. Admittedly, I craved the comfort, though I didn't deserve it. Not after how I'd treated her.
"I'm not leaving your side," she repeated, less angry and more concerned.
It only reminded me why I was acting like this in the first place.
"For now," I said, voice hoarse.
She blinked. "What?"
Narrowing my eyes, I finally looked to her, speaking more clearly. "For now. You'll be here for now and then you'll get busy with Heda responsibilities, and then you'll realise I can't work with you anymore because I can't even walk. And then you'll get busier and busier and realise I'm just a damned burden and then you'll leave. And I won't blame you one bit, but it'll happen."
Her expression softened. "How can you say that?"
Embarrassed, I let go of her hand and wiped away a stray tear, looking away. "Because it's true. We're not kids anymore, remember? You don't owe me a thing."
"You're such a fool."
I scoffed, crossing my arms. How could she say that when she'd spent the last few years an emotionless wreck because of Costia's death, only ever putting her job first?
"No, you are," she disagreed. "You think I'd just push you away like that?"
"Yes," I said simply, looking down at my bed covers. "Love is weakness. Isn't that what you've been saying?"
"I thought that," she admitted, "but it's not. Not with you."
I rolled my eyes.
"I thought I lost you and I didn't," she said gently, considerately. "That's worth something. Because..." She paused, hesitant, then continued, "...because I'm in love with you."
She said it so nonchalantly that I had to truly digest her words, and even then I couldn't believe them.
With disbelief, I glanced at her. "What?"
She was trembling slightly, surprising me, and began to nod. Her eyes were glassy as they met mine. "I am. I can't lose you too."
For a moment, I saw the old Lexa, the one who I'd known most of my life, before Azgeda ruined her, and it broke my heart.
"Lexa...," I started, but didn't know what to say.
"You're not a burden," she told me with certainty. "Those one love never are."
I struggled to find words, heart beating exceptionally fast as she maintained eye contact. She loved me? After all this time, the girl I fell in love with loved me too? What?
"Please don't say I've ruined everything," she whispered, hopeless.
Remembering to move, I quickly shook my head, though my mind was still reeling. "You haven't. You–"
She cut me off with a kiss, pressing her lips to mine eagerly. She kissed me like she'd been waiting to forever, hands curling around my face and nose brushing against mine as she tilted her head to the side. I kissed her back, melting into her with ease and acutely aware of how perfect she felt against me.
I still couldn't catch up to what was happening, not even as she pulled back slightly, breathless and meeting my gaze. She didn't speak, as if waiting for my reaction before she could do anything.
"Are you sure?" was all I could say, stunned.
She nodded slowly.
I licked my lips. "Good. Because I'm in love with you too, Lexa."
Her lips curved into a small smile, eyes darting between mine, before she kissed me again.

Kylo Ren — SFW Alphabet
no warnings, just lots of fluff and lil bit of angst !! however, just bc its SFW, doesn't mean i want minors interacting w this, BEGONE !!! TO THE GLUE TRAP YOU GO !
— AFFECTION (how affectionate are they?)
in the beginning of your relationship, affection was very scarce. kylo wanted so badly to open up to you more, but was too afraid to, so when he would catch himself getting too close or too affectionate he would pull away and become that cold and calculated kylo again who you knew all too well. when he did finally admit his feelings, he couldn't get enough of you, as if he were making up for all of the lost time he spent pushing you away.
"i cant believe i waited so long to do this, what a fool i am."
— BEST FRIEND (what are they like as a bestie?)
the only hc i have for you as best friends would be if you grew up together in jedi training... and you guys would fuck w each other CONSTANTLY. like practically bully each other, it's all in good fun though. luke would refer to the two of you as partners-in-many-crimes because of the several messes you'd make doing stupid shit. one time ben almost burned the hut down because you dared him to light fireworks outside of luke's window while he slept. bad fucking idea.
"you idiot, he's going to kill us, you know?"
— CUDDLES (how do they like to cuddle?)
kylo loves holding you. his favorite is when your head is on his chest because it makes it easy for him to play with your hair. he also loves being the big spoon, wrapping his strong arms around your small frame. in those moments you were a tiny, precious thing that he wanted only to love and keep safe.
— DOMESTIC (thoughts on settling down? how would they be helping out around?)
kylo wanted nothing more than to make you his and his only forever. despite how kylo treats literally everyone else, he is a very doting partner and has a huge soft spot for you and only you. he's better at helping with cooking than he is cleaning. anytime he would try to clean, he'd never do it right or fully and you'd end up telling him to stop and do it yourself lol.
"what do you MEAN i'm not doing it right?!"
— ENDING (how would breakups go?)
its simply not happening. if he broke up with you, he didn't actually mean it and said it out of anger in the heat of the moment. if you broke up with him, he would probably lose his mind. his cold façade would shatter into a million pieces and he'd promise he would change, do better, do whatever it was you needed him to do. you were his and the mere thought of anyone else ever having you filled him with insurmountable rage and sadness.
— FIANCEE (how do they feel about commitment?)
kylo is devoted to you wholeheartedly. being his empress and ruling over the first order by his side would only solidify that.
— GENTLE (how gentle are they?)
when he isn't being a freak, he handles you as if you are made of glass. a pretty, precious thing that could break at any moment. if you fall asleep next to the fireplace, he will pick you up and carry you to bed, making sure the blankets are tucked around the both of you in the way you like, so you don't wake up cold in the morning.
— HUGS (do they like hugs? what are their hugs like?)
kylo loves hugging you, and you love hugging him. bc of his height, you are dwarfed by him and his hugs feel like getting tightly wrapped in a large, warm blanket. usually he just bends down to hug you, but sometimes he picks you up.
— I LOVE YOU (how long does it take for them to say the L word?)
again, kylo is terrified of showing weakness, so in the beginning of your relationship he's very cold towards you. every time he was around you he had to fight the strong urges telling him to be honest with you. after a long while, he did finally say it though. he was so nervous when he first said it, his eyes scanning your face for a reaction and his palms sweating. now he reminds you that he loves you all the time, especially if he's going out on a mission and won't be back for a couple weeks.
"don't look so sad, my star. i love you, you know i always come back to you."
— JEALOUSY (how jealous do they get?)
kylo is as jealous of a man as you can get. the mere thought of someone trying to take you from him fills him with a rage that rivals the fire of a thousand suns. one time he heard a guard having very loud, impure thoughts about his empress so kylo killed him. you have always been much more passive than he is, so you were not happy to see that he had killed someone on your living room floor.
"but my love- his thoughts were so loud! what else was i supposed to do?!"
— KISSES (do they like kissing? what are their kisses like?)
kissing you is kylo's favorite past time. if you both are out and his helmet is on, all he's thinking about is getting home so he can kiss you. sometimes if no one's around, he will lift his mask up just enough so it only exposes the bottom half of his face so he can get a quick kiss or two or eight in. his kisses are warm and never fail to send tingles down your spine, and you always say kylo tastes of cinnamon and smoke. to him, you taste of summer fruit.
— LITTLE ONES (how are they around kids?)
he's indifferent towards other peoples children, thankfully he's less harsh on them than adults, but he isn't pleasant to them either. one time he blew up on a servant boy that was no older than eleven, and you scolded him afterwards. "he's just a child kylo, don't be so hard on him." he has such a soft spot for you and admires the empathy you have for others that he will never have. he promised you he would try to be a little nicer. yours and his children however, he treats as well as he treats you. they are an extension of his beloved, after all. i hc that kylo is a wonderful father, making sure they receive the fatherly love he never got.
— MORNINGS (how do your mornings with them go?)
sometimes on busy days, he's gone by the time you wake up. you always look so beautiful and peaceful when you're sleeping, so he doesn't dare wake you up. instead he kisses your head and whispers that he loves you and that he will return shortly. he knows you can't hear him, but he likes to tell you anyways. on days he doesn't have to leave so early, you stay in bed together. kissing, cuddling, talking, other things. kylo is content doing anything as long as it's with you.
— NIGHTS (how do your nights with them go?)
this is a sfw post, therefore i cannot describe how your nights with kylo would go lmao. please refer to the nsfw abc's. afterwards though, kylo is a doting partner that takes care of you, cleaning you up and tending to every single mark he left on your body that he worships so much.
— OPEN (how open are they? when will they tell you more about themselves?)
the first few months of your relationship is like dating a brick wall, it is not easy getting kylo to open up. once he does though, he makes sure not to hide anything from you anymore. it took a lot of work and patience, but he loves and trusts you wholeheartedly.
— PATIENCE (how patient are they with you?)
kylo has a temper, and he tries so hard, but he does have slip ups sometimes. any time he blows up on you though, he apologizes immediately. you know he loves you because he absolutely hates admitting he was wrong.
— QUIZZES (how much do they remember about you?)
everything. every detail, every like, every dislike, your favorite color, your favorite flower, your blood type, your fears, hopes, and dreams. this man remembers EVERYTHING about you. at least fifty percent of his brain is an archive of facts about you.
— REMEMBER (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
the first time you told him you loved him. it was the first time anyone told him they loved him, and you made him feel like he was ben again. he used to be so scared of being that boy he tried so hard to kill, but you held that part of him so tenderly, that he knew he'd be an absolute fool to try to push that away.
— SECURITY (how protective are they of you?)
kylo protects you with his own life and would kill thousands for you, despite your disdain for unnecessary violence. you are the most important thing to him, and he would have to be dead before he let anything happen to you.
— TRY (how much effort do they put into dates/special occasions?)
kylo ren has an ungodly amount of rizz and i stand by that. this man buys you your favorite flowers, he sets up candlelit dinners, he watches the sunset with you, he makes you personalized playlists like every other fuckboy except he doesn't send it to seven other women. whether you're his empress yet or not, he treats you like royalty. @enviedear and i also have a hc that kylo is the type of guy to pick out your nail polish color for you, and then buy a tie to wear that matches.
"you'd look so heavenly in this shade of red, my star."
— UGLY (what is a bad habit of theirs?)
kylo has an awful temper and is prone to outbursts. he tries SO hard to not have a temper with you, but everyone makes mistakes. he always apologizes to you though. i also hc that kylo is a nail biter, idk it just makes sense ?? that man is a caged animal and emotionally damaged, he definitely has anxiety.
— VANITY (how insecure are they? what are they insecure about?)
our poor babygirl is sooo insecure about everything, no matter how much you tell him how beautiful he is. your loving words of affirmation always make him feel a little better though.
— WHOLE (would they feel incomplete without you?)
without you, kylo would return to the broken, shell of a man he was before you. if he somehow lost you, hundreds of innocent lives would be lost due to the rampage he'd go on.
— XTRA (a random headcanon about them)
another hc that liv and i came up with was kylo's and ben's music taste. kylo listens to typical male manipulator music like radiohead, the smiths, and deftones with some angrier shit like slipknot and korn. ben is a different breed of male manipulator that listens to the weeknd and pulls up blasting solo by future. we also hc that both cry alone to lana del rey.
— YUCK (what are some things they dislike?)
anything and everything that isn't you. his least favorite thing though, is when he can hear people's rude or impure thoughts about you. he hasn't told you this, but he's killed at least fifteen people for doing just that.
"personally, i think fifteen isn't enough."
— ZZZZ (what are their sleeping habits like?)
for the first few months of your relationship, he did not sleep around you. you were convinced he didn't sleep... like ever. after he became more vulnerable with you though, he would. you love how peaceful he looks when he sleeps. i also hc that sometimes he gets terrible, vivid nightmares that he wakes up crying from :(

AHAAA I FINISHED IT WOAHHH i usually don't finish art things omg...
Anyways current sabre design!!! (It will probably change bc I can NEVER make up my mind on any design ever sob)
He's such a goof :3 (IM NEVER DRAWING THAT RAINBOW ELYTRA AGAIN IM CRYING)
Anyways some headcanons below cuz I feel like yapping :3
-rainbow totally would have gotten him and sabre friendship necklaces (yk the matching kind with magnets that come together n all) and after knowing lucas for a bit he woulda made friendship bracelets !!
-like that one person I reblogged said, he's such a mad scientist he's so silly omgg
-i love the reincarnation au SO MUCH its literally fire but in normal headcanons I think he used to be part of the creed and an assasin and ermm
Basically I headcanon his whole assassins creed series was basically his backstory before starting to do research on these 'steve' entities
-when nervous/anxious his footsteps will be completely silent out of habit from the whole assassin thing, and he'd obviously do it when purposefully trying to sneak (he has probably scared rainbow or Lucas multiple times by doing this..)
-I'm not sure weather to headcanon that his wings were damaged by a steve really early on in the steve saga (like before rainbow could speak or maybe when dark was still pretending to be blue) or if it was smth that happened when he was still an assassin but it's one of those!!!
-hes an avian.. heh... if u couldn't tell from the ref sheet.. but NOT a chicken!! The chicken jokes are just bc of the hoodie and bc his feathers look a lil similar :3
-he has like 2 of the same chicken hoodie he'll wear most often but still has some normal outfits AND assassins outfits and weapons he keeps away (most are green or have some sort of green in them heh.. I might draw that later)
-ok ok ok I have so many eye headcanons it's so hrggrrrrh the main one tho is one I snatched from the reincarnation au and that's that he doesn't have eyes!! Bc of an injury or sum and he js says he has sensitive eyes and the bandana fabric is see through up close.. but he can still see bc he's a player and the way players work is weird. Other headcanon, green eyes. Other headcanon, brown eyes. Other headcanon, heterachromia green and brown eyes. Other headcanon pure white eyes. Other headcanon code eyes. Other headcanon (gets hit by a bus)
-if we r going with the reincarnation au for the eyes, I feel like only rainbow and Lucas would know, if we're going with the others, I'd say rainbow, Lucas, Alex, galaxy, and maybe the guardian (I forgot if that's what he was called or not) would know. If we're going with the code eyes, then only lucas would know
-not sabre specifically but I feel like steves in general wouldn't be very used to or know but about blood/gore stuff, bc they're more used to being destroyed/poofing, and later on being destroyed through a machine. Being actually killed by a sword or something of the sort they are not used to seeing, and are very touchy on the subject
-on that note I imagine if there's like a steve that's immune to most or all other steve powers and or machines that they're trying to get rid of and arguing on what to so abt I imagine sabre being like "oh 1 sec I got this" and boom that mf DEAD 😭
-and they'd b like 😰
"Guess we're gonna have to kill this guy sabre" "damn"
-ermmm silly billy activity...
-I feel like he'd know a lot more than the other steves on things like the nether and end (not end city tho that's a whole other mc headcanon I don't feel like yapping abt rn) bc those are the dimensions players have access too and steves usually dont.. so they'd b like "WTF SABRE WHAT R U DOING THAT IS A LITERAL HELLSCAPE WITH LAKES OF FIRE AND MONSTERS WEVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE FYM U CAN GET 'NETHERITE' THERE" and he'd b like "well don't go in the fire then and it anything attacks u kill it ig" (not actually sob.. I feel like only he and Lucas would go there bc most steves r hindered greatly by lava and the only ones we've seen that aren't are bad guys if my memory is correct)
Ermm I have more but I'm eepy and can't remember so those r for another day!!!

AO3 | MASTERLIST | MINORS DNI
Jeongguk has always been gentle: with you, with your feelings, with your body. This morning, he seems even more so, almost like he's cautious.
In all reality, it's just gone six in the morning, and he knows he's waking you before you're fully rested. Feels bad. Is why he's brewing coffee in a French press in the kitchen, ready to wake you up a little.
Quiet as can be, he's letting you hold onto those final moments – but when he glances over to his room, and finds you wrapped up in his duvet, leant against the doorframe, he knows he's failed.
"Sorry," he whispers. Offers a small smile that you reciprocate, eyes all blurry, face a little puffy. "Did I wake you?"
Shaking your head, you lie. "Think I'm just nervous about today."
"Why?" He grins as he begins to pour the coffee into iced cups – not quite your usual americano, but the closest he can get without leaving his apartment. Isn't dressed for it. Left his shirt in his room, along with everything else except for the Calvin's keeping him decent, and the glitter of yours dappled all over his skin. "It's not like you're the one getting married."
There's a sweetness to his voice, with no annoyance in his posture nor expression when you dump the duvet on the floor. The shirt he'd left in his room is now on your body, and Jeongguk marvels at the sight of you. Hair a little lopsided, your glitter is smudged all over your cheeks, making him smile. He'd picked you up after a shower yesterday, yet you're still covered in it.
"I don't know," you shrug, hopping up on one of the barstools opposite him. "Big day, isn't it?"
A cowlick of hair sticks up from his head, making him look like the sweetest sprout ever known. Cheeks full, his face is a little puffy, too. You both need water far more than you need coffee.
"How so?" He asks, as if he doesn't know.
"'Cause nobody knows you're obsessed with me yet."
Jeongguk's pretty sure they've known for months, now.
"More like you're obsessed with me."
"No," you hum, sitting up a little straighter. "To become obsessed is to lose yourself, and I am not a loser."
"Yeah, you are."
"Am not," you protest, but there's a tranquil smile on your lips.
It's impossible to lose with Jeongguk, you think. Impossible to have him and not consider it a win. A monumental win, at that. A win for yourself. For your heart. Against Hayun, too, but you're trying not to think about her.
Her message sits delivered in your otherwise unused chat feet. Part of you feels like Nabi had encouraged her to send it for the sake of Seoyeon, and while you don't want to be difficult, you also don't feel like peace needs to be made.
See, peace would indicate harmony. No ill feelings – but you know damn well if you have to greet Hayun with anything more than a smile and simple hello, you'll feel like an imposter in your own skin.
Small talk is reserved for the people you care about, not those who destroy people you care about. Doesn't matter how things currently stand. She was awful to your favourite person in the whole entire world. How she treated him just makes no sense to you in any way, shape, or form. He was born to be adored, you think.
You're no saint, and you've had your fair share of disagreements with Jeongguk, but all your arguments have been fundamentally human. Issues borne of miscommunications, or hurt feelings. Unintentional upsets.
What she put him through was cruel. Inhumane.
So no, you won't give her the time of day, and if anyone suggests you do, you'll simply smile and move the conversation along.
Jeongguk's nattering on about the wedding – how he's not sure how to do his hair, so you tell him that he should wear it pushed back.
"You think?" He contemplates, pulling at a strand just above his eyes. Tries his hardest to look up at it.
"Yeah," you nod, knowing that he's not really asking, as such. He wants to be told what to do. Doesn't want to make the decision himself, 'cause he's already a little anxious about the responsibility bestowed upon him as the ring bearer. "You always look really nice with it pushed back."
With a slightly bashful smile, Jeongguk nods. "Okay. Let's go get ready, B."
As Jeongguk's tyres crunch to a halt on the gravel of the driveway, you're a little bit blown away by the grounds of the venue you're in.
A chapel wedding never would have been Yoongi's taste. It's not his style. Likes tradition, hates establishments. He'd found a kindred spirit in Seoyeon; a love for the less than typical. A desire to do things a little bit differently.
A string of Joseon-style Hanok houses sits in acres of sprawling countryside. Though they're obviously newly built, the style is so perfectly in keeping with traditional architecture that you wouldn't be surprised to see the scene in a historical drama.
The oak timbers are varnished, but unpainted; golden beneath the mid-morning sunshine. Lush grasses and shrubbery paint the landscape in the most beautiful hues of green, with dragonflies flittering around in the long spikes. There's a pond nearby, you're certain.
"This place is gorgeous," you say quietly, amazed you haven't ever come across it before – but why would you? Marriage has hardly been near the top of your to-do list, and checking out wedding venues for sport was abandoned the first time Seokjin cheated on you. It hasn't been indulged in since then.
Something about being here, Jeongguk beside you, makes you curious. Maybe there are new places that have opened up.
Seokjin had always been keen on a church wedding whenever you spoke about hypotheticals.
You've never wanted a church wedding.
You wonder what Jeongguk would want; if he'd even want one at all.
"It sure is something," he agrees, as he twists his keys off in the ignition but makes no attempt to get out of the car. "This is just where we're sleeping. There's a pagoda a little further along where the ceremony is happening."
You nod, unsurprised. These are just little dwellings, no matter how beautiful they are. You're sure the pagoda will be far more befitting of a wedding ceremony.
Silence fills the car as the radio cuts out, Jeongguk pulling the keys from the ignition. Neither of you care to fill the space. You're too fixated on the view in front of you.
Jeongguk's distracted too, but not by the view, no matter how pretty it may be.
A hundred and one thoughts run through his mind, but the one he can't seem to shake is how on earth he's gonna survive the day in a state of 'just friends' with you.
Of course, he'll be able to do it. Has done it for months – but fuck, all he wants to do in your presence is hold your hand. Steal kisses. Do things no one would question, if they knew you were together.
But you're still, on a technicality, not.
He's supposed to be sharing a room with Jimin tonight. When the place had been booked, it still hadn't been decided if you'd be sharing with Danbi, but as the months passed, it was blatantly obvious she'd be sharing with Tae.
But Tae was supposed to be with Namjoon, which left two options: either you or Namjoon should stay with Hoseok. At the time, the sensible choice was you should room with Hoseok. That's how the plans had transpired, and are the intended sleeping arrangements for the evening.
And it's been driving Jeongguk mad.
He likes Hoseok. Likes him a lot. Doesn't know him well enough to know that he's mildly repulsed by the idea of ever being intimate with you, because unlike Jeongguk, his boundaries as a friend stop short of sexual attraction. Like a normal friendship should.
He'd rather you weren't rooming with Hoseok, but he's hardly gonna cause an issue out of it.
What he is gonna do, however, is have periodic tantrums about it throughout the day's events. Nothing super obvious. Just a slight pout of his lips, or a furrow of his brows when he thinks about it occasionally.
Much like he is now, when you ask, "Do you know which room is assigned to who?"
"Names are on the doors," he simply says, knowing that's how Seoyeon intended to arrange it.
He thinks he's subtle in his mard. Thinks you're none the wiser. Believes he's good at hiding how he feels about it all.
Or at least he does, until you start laughing, "It's one night, Gguk. You can survive without me for a night."
"No, I don't actually think I can," he replies without missing a beat, decidedly needy in his lack of denial. "In fact, I think I might-"
"You're not gonna die," you smile, reaching across for his hand. He doesn't resist as you pull his knuckles to your lips, pressing a pretty little kiss upon them, then lowering them to your lap. Your clasp is warm. Welcome. Just like home. "It's just a night-"
"Just a night," he echoes, before arguing against you. "Just a night where you're gonna look all fancy and nice and I'm gonna have to know another man is taking you to bed-"
"He's not taking me to bed!"
"Well, then he's a fool."
"Shut up," you laugh, squeezing his hand a little tighter. "Hey, look at me." He doesn't. "Gguk, please."
As much as he wants to stay stroppy, he just can't say no to you. Glances in your direction. Finds his tense posture easing as he takes you in. Chocolate brown, his eyes are so dark you half think they'll swallow you up entirely.
"What?" he pouts.
"You'll survive the night," you assure him. "And Hobes has, like, the biggest crush on Joon."
This is not news to Jeongguk. He has eyes, and has spent time in the presence of them both. Is pretty sure that the crush is mutual. In fact, he's sure of it. Has never known Namjoon with a crush, but he's pretty sure that the way he gets a little tongue-tied around Hoseok is prime example of what it would look like.
"Well then why don't they share?" Jeongguk frowns. He really is petulant when he wants to be.
"'Cause they're normal," you grin. "They have a crush, and they're still pussy-footing around it. They're not like us."
His frown intensifies. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"The birds," you simply state. "Gguk, we were combating intimacy from the get-go. Breaking down barriers. Hobes and Joon will be taking things at a normal pace. If they're into each other, sharing a room will be a big step."
Foolishly, you didn't think Jeongguk's frown could get any deeper.
It does.
It's not because he disagrees with you, not at all. It's just that he wonders if you've fucked it; if you've ruined the sanctity of the early stages of a relationship. You'll never get those special 'firsts' with him. Never have those giggly, girly debriefs with Danbi after sleeping over Jeongguk's for the first time. Won't remember the date of your first kiss (even if it was the early hours of New Years Day, and impossible for you to ever forget).
He knows that staying in the same room isn't a big deal for you two. Knows that sharing a bed is like breathing at this point. Loves the comfort that comes with being with you. Hates that perhaps you don't get that wave of excitement from it because of it being so familiar.
And so he nods. Accepts your words, and decides that maybe sleeping apart will be good for you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and all that.
"You're right," he relents. Eases his frown lines as his head tilts back against the headrest. Lazily looking over at you, he squeezes your hand, now. Whispers, "I'll miss you."
He'd probably feel a lot better about it all if he knew that such a simple statement did, in fact, get butterflies swarming in your stomach. There's a sparkle in your eye as you whisper back, "I'll miss you too, Koo."
He grins now. With heavily-lidded eyes and a smirk that screams fuck me, he husks, "Don't call me that, B. You know what it does to me."
"Do I?" You banter back. Flutter your lashes like the dragonflies dancing outside Jeongguk's car. "What does it do, Koo?"
"B," he warns with a smile. "Don't."
"Don't what?" The hand of his that's being held in your lap is lifted. Repositioned; palm opened, then closed down on your chest. Encouraged to squeeze. Held in place by your own hand. He groans. Lets you dictate his movements – of which you very much do.
"Byeol," he whispers, now. "You'll kill me."
"I give you a reason to live," you flirt, because seeing him like this always gets you a little bolder. "No one else is gonna be here for another hour, yet."
"So?"
"So I know you cum in like 5 seconds flat-"
"Not true."
"-whenever you're touching with my tits."
"We-" he pulls his hand from your grasp and places your hands in your lap. Holds them there. "-Are on a shagging ban."
"But it's a special occasion."
Realistically, you're not vying for a shag. In fact, you'd be quite surprised if you were to end up in bed with Jeongguk at all, today. You're just teasing him. Winding him up because you can. Because you want to. Because it's important that he knows just how much you enjoy him in all capacities.
"You're a menace," he tells you. "A randy little gremlin."
"You love it," you tell him, voice playful.
He doesn't respond. Just gives you a look, that you interpret to mean, of course I fuckin' do.
"C'mon," he eventually sighs, regretful of the fact he has to spend time with people other than you. "Let's get our bags sorted, then you can get ready. I'll go find Yoongs."
There's an effortless nature to the way Jeongguk takes the lead; how diligent he is at getting from A to B. You know it's thanks to his job, and his studies, and the way he's gonna spend the rest of his career organising people and events, but something about it makes your tummy feel all fuzzy.
He's as dependable as the changing seasons; guaranteed. Competent, in the way he takes command of situations. It's not a trait you ever realised you valued until you met him. Had always been the driving force in your relationships. The one with the get-up-and-go attitude. It's nice to let your brain rest when you're with him.
You know his brain is probably going a mile a minute, but you also know that he somehow prefers to live like that.
And while it's true – he needs to be kept busy to keep himself from going insane – he does revel in the way you make him forget his stuggles. Nothing is ever too much trouble when you're within touching distance of him.
By the time you meet him at the rear of his car, Jeongguk has already swung his rucksack over his shoulder and is reaching for your mini-suitcase. Taps your hand away as you try to intercept. Nods towards the garment bags on the backseat, instead.
"Can you grab them?" He asks, voice soft, his lack of verbalised 'please' made up for with his puppy dog eyes.
"Sure."
He would have gotten them himself, but he knows you'd have insisted on doing something. This way, he does the heavy living, and you don't complain. A win-win.
Chatter comes naturally between you both as you make your way up the wavy stone path to the hanok. Set in a horseshoe formation, there's a small water feature in the centre, trickling ever so peacefully.
You're looking at your feet, avoiding the cracks, when you accidentally walk straight into Jeongguk.
"Steady on," he smirks, glancing over his shoulder.
"You don't stop in the middle of the road! Basic highway code," you tell him, certain that it's a universal rule of all roads.
"Okay firstly, this isn't a road-"
"The Romans would disagree."
"The Romans didn't know shit about Korea," Jeongguk laughs. While you know he's correct, you're a little curious as to what other trinkets of knowledge he's got hidden up inside that brain of his. He doesn't strike you as a history buff, but he also didn't strike you as a chess player, either. "But secondly, I was trying to figure something out."
Coming to stand beside him, you follow his line of vision. Tilt your head. Realise exactly what he's looking at: Your names, on the doors of the rooms next to one another. Close, but not close enough for his liking.
"Could always just switch them," he suggests. "Be together."
"Together?" You chirp, as if it's a foreign concept. Play up the idea that maybe it is. "Why would we be together?"
Jeongguk looks down towards you. Smiles. Gives you no verbal response, but you don't really need him to. Is so curiously smitten with your need to downplay how much you mean to one another. He presses a kiss to the side of your head, then heads towards the designated room. Calls back, "So are we still pretending like we're not together?"
"We aren't together," you assure him, smile as wide as the sky is blue. "You haven't asked me yet."
Turning as he reaches the door, his smile makes his lip ring do the thing . "It's a group activity, B. You could always ask me."
He's got a point. You're just as responsible as he is. It's sort of like you're both playing a game of chicken; edging one another closer and closer to the point of no return. Truth be told, in some sadistic, twisted kinda way, you enjoy this back and forth. The certain uncertainty.
It's an inevitable fact of life, at this point. You will be official - but you're both secure in that knowledge and enjoy toying in this slight state of limbo. Makes it fun. Exciting. Dangerous, yet entirely safe.
"Anyway," Jeongguk derails the conversation. Pops your bags by the door of your room, and leaves his door ajar for you to put his suit inside. Pats his pocket to make sure the ring boxes are still there. They are. "You get yourself ready. I'm gonna head over to where Yoongi's staying. Check in with him, make sure everything's okay."
"How far away is it?" You ask, really not knowing much about the site.
"Ten minute walk," Jeongguk says. "Two minute drive, if that. Follow the road we came in on round a little further, and there's another hanok like this, which is where their families are staying," he explains. "The ceremony pavilion is a little beyond that, by the pond, and I'm pretty sure it's where the reception is, too. Can't tell you where the wedding suite is, 'cause I haven't asked, but like... I don't think any of us need to know."
You nod, and let out a soft laugh. "Yeah, you're probably right."
Families and close friends have a place to stay by the reception, but other guests will be staying in the neighbouring village. The sprawling countryside is gorgeous, and lends itself perfectly to the tranquillity of a wedding, but the location is a bit of a pain in the arse to get to. Takes a little commitment. Is perfectly apt for a celebration of Seoyeon and Yoongi's courtship.
Jeongguk leaves you to get ready, but only after he's made sure to kiss you half a dozen times. Knows he won't get the luxury later, so makes the most of it while he still can. Smiles as his lips press down into yours. Giggles, 'cause he can't articulate the way he feels. Tells you to fuck off when you smile at him as he walks away. Walks backwards so that he doesn't have to stop looking at you. Shakes his head, grin as bright as a burning star when you tell him to fuck off, himself.
He thinks about saying he loves you.
Bites down on his bottom lip instead. Presses a kiss to the tips of his fingers and sends it your way as he finally turns around. Leaves you with an aching heart. It's so full that it's weighing down on your ribs in a way you're not used to - and yet you'll take the strain. Like it, even. Never want to lose it.
The rest of your friends slowly begin to trickle in. All arriving within the hour, they're early, too. Are excited for the celebrations.
The room you and Hoseok are in is as you'd expected: pale walls, natural wood, floor mats instead of beds. Traditional internally, just like it is externally, there are no big frills or grand statements.
And there needn't be, for Hoseoks personality fills it with such warmth and colour that it's all you need.
"Oh," he grits his teeth when he sees the dress that you're wearing. "You need to get changed. We can't wear the same dress."
Rolling your eyes, you swat him out of the way of the mirror. He's already in the fitted suit he's wearing, though if anyone else could pull this dress off, then it's Hoseok.
Simple in its structure, the satin sage green dress hits the floor perfectly in line with your heels. A split runs up to your thigh, but it's mostly obscured. The cowl neckline paired with dainty bows on the tops of your shoulders makes it the perfect understated wedding guest dress - pretty, but not asking for too much attention.
A second dress remains in the garment bag, far flashier - sparkly - but upon seeing the location, you want to remain stripped back. Glitter still prevails on your skin like it always does, and your eyes rival the disco balls that you know will be present at the reception, but you have a feeling you'll look a lot more cohesive in photos like this.
After all, this is Seoyeon's day, and she has very specific colours in mind, so you know it must be important. Both dresses got her approval when you'd asked last week, but it's a head vs. heart decision. You'll save the sparkly one for another time.
"Y'know, you clean up well, Hobes," you tell your friend as you smooth the front of your dress down.
"You say that like it's a surprise."
Glancing to meet his cheeky smile in the mirror, you're quietly pleased to have him here with you. Despite how much you genuinely enjoy the company of everyone here (well, nearly everyone), without Danbi and Hoseok, parties are never as much fun. They're your people, you think. Always will be.
But when you think of it, so are the rest of them.
Perhaps none more so than the boy knocking at your door ten minutes before you're supposed to head up towards the ceremony.
"I was just about to head out," Hoseok subtly smiles, realising who it must be. "See you in a bit."
You bid him farewell, then refocus on the mirror in a feeble attempt to look unaffected by Jeongguk's presence as Hoseok welcomes him in. Left alone, Jeongguk tucks inside the door. Shuts it, but doesn't lock it. Just leans against it with his suited shoulder. Wants to break the silence, but struggles to find the words.
There's a silence to the room as he drinks you in; the way the satin of your dress rests against a body he knows better than his own at this point. No words can convey the 90's television static that's sounding in his head right now. Nothing could articulate the way it feels like his heart is melting like butter beneath his ribs; how he feels like he might just die from the sight of you alone.
Turning to face him, you're still preening yourself, obviously a little unsure. Ask, "Watcha think?"
If Jeongguk could think straight, he'd say you're the most gorgeous woman alive.
But he can't, 'cause he's utterly consumed. Says instead, "You'll get told off."
"Told off?" you frown, then worry that someone else is wearing the same dress.
He nods, unaware of your thought process. "The bride is supposed to be the prettiest person at a wedding."
Something about compliments like this from Jeongguk - a little mindless, and feral in his own, sweet way - makes your tummy feel all funny. There's not enough room in the bodice for butterflies, so you roll your eyes. Try to remain composed.
"She is going to be the prettiest person at the wedding," you assure him, then hold your hands out for him to join you in the middle of the room. It takes a second, but he eventually complies. Of course he does. Will do anything you ask of him.
The light brown of his tweed suit looks almost grey. Lends itself perfectly to accents of deep teal and sage alike. Was a strategic choice. Didn't know what colour you'd be wearing, but knew he wanted to look good beside you.
He's without a tie - you knew he would be, thanks to what little he did share with you about his outfit choice - and a few of his upper buttons are loose. The silver of his usual chain sits prettily on his collar bones, hair pushed back, just like you told him to style it.
Hands in yours, Jeongguk takes in the sight of you. Is so pleased to see the dainty silver bird when it usually is.
"You look great," you tell him, 'cause it's important he knows. You never would have chosen the colour of suit he's gone for, but it looks absolutely divine on him. In fact, you're quite pleased you left him to his own styling devices. Rarely ever think his outfit choices are rogue, so you're really not surprised - but you did bring something for him just in case.
Pulling away from his grasp, you reach into the garment bag, and slip a small offcut of fabric from the bottom of your dress that had been saved when you'd have alternations made. Sewn perfectly into the shape of a pocket square, you say nothing as you pull out the white fabric in his breast pocket.
Without interruption, Jeongguk lets you. Watches your hands as you neatly arrange the pocket square. Likes the way the fabric compliments his suit. Loves it, in fact. Would love it even more if he noticed the tiny embroidered star on the material that you've hidden towards the bottom of his pocket. Matching the fabric's colour, the thread is so subtle that you have to know it's there to clock it. A secret declaration: I'm yours.
"Green suits you," Jeongguk eventually says. Gently pushes your hair back over your shoulders. Cups your jaw. Kisses you just as softly as he compliments you.
"Suits you, too," you tell him right back.
"Ready to pretend like we aren't dating for a few hours?" He smirks, knowing you'll find this just as hard as he is.
There's something about his phrasing - the acknowledgement that you are dating - that has you shaking your head. Smiling, like the cat who got the cream. "Not in the slightest."
And there really is no need. Everyone knows. The only people you're deluding are yourselves.
But as you give yourselves one final glance in the mirror, and Jeongguk slaps your ass before he leaves, you're quite content in this denial. Like the bubble that you're living in. Don't want it to burst. Not yet.
You're relieved as you join your group of friends by the water feature, finally seeing what everyone's wearing. It's the reason you had two outfits. Was afraid to clash.
Danbi is in teal - a strapless, figure-hugging number that looks outrageously good on her.
Like you, Nabi is in sage. A little darker in its tone, her dress is far more structured, finishing midway down her calves. You'd be forgiven for thinking she belonged on a runway; enviably tall and impossibly beautiful.
Hayun is the last to join the group, uncharacteristically smiley. Unlike the rest of you, she's opted for a well-tailored pantsuit situation. Deep teal, she looks just as good as she always does, red lips accenting her choice perfectly. One thing is for certain: the photos of everyone together are going to look great.
The men are in classic suits, with little variation. Jeongguk's is the most adventurous by far, and it makes you a little sad you hadn't done anything 'extra'. Kind of resent the fact Hayun's chosen something unique, but have to remind yourself it isn't a competition.
Walking down the twisty gravel road to the pavilion, arm linked with Danbi's, there's a whimsical feel in the air. Giddy happiness. You get to witness true love do its thing right in front of your very eyes, and that is a blessing, you decide.
As you turn the corner, there's a collective silence.
Brilliantly beautiful, the ancient-style pavilion is breathtaking against the backdrop of lush spring mountains. Though cherry blossom season is over, some of the trees are still blossoming; white magnolia accenting the green in the most gorgeous of ways.
Unpainted, the pavilion boasts the natural colour of its timbers, much like the hanoks, and as you spot Yoongi nervously waiting at the end of the aisle, you can't help but smile. There's a strength that comes with pavillions like these, despite their beauty. No place is more apt for them to say their vows.
Though his face lights up when he spots you all approaching, it's not enough to shake the nerves. It's not as if he's got any doubts, nor is he worried about Seoyeon having cold feet. It's just wedding jitters.
As the boys greet him with handshakes, there's a formality between them all that has never existed before. Tearful eyes, tightly shut lips. Smiles, and stuttered laughter. It's all very endearing.
Jeongguk takes a seat on the front row beside Yoongi's family. Needs to be close for his ever-so-important ring-bearing duty. You watch on from the row behind, unable to look at anything other than the back of his head.
For all the beauty of the landscape, and the gorgeous venue, he's still the most breathtaking thing about this place.
Or at least he is, until the pianist begins to play the opening notes of something you don't initially recognise. It's not a traditional choice, but then again not much about Yoongi and Seoyeon's nuptials are. It's around the time you register that it's a rendition of Etta James' At Last that Seoyeon finally comes into view.
A vision in a champagne-coloured tulle dream of a dress, she's every bit the girl of Yoongi's dreams. Whimsical and winsome, she captivates in a way that only she can. Hair loose, her usual plaits remain scattered throughout her dark waves, to match the single plait in Yoongi’s hair. There's something slightly eccentric about Seoyeon, and yet she's entirely down to earth.
Her deep, dark eyes are a little glassy, focused on her husband-to-be. Trying his best not to cry, Yoongi is almost annoyed at himself for being so emotional - but how could he not be?
Breaking tradition once more, Seoyeon's sister, Seobi, walks her down the aisle, much like Yoongi's older brother is his only groomsman. After all, this day is about them, and them alone. They've got everyone they care about watching on, and that's enough. When it comes to the actual wedding, they only want to focus on one another.
As you watch on, you think they made the right choice. There's something incredibly special about how Yoongi and Seoyeon look at one another. A reverence you don't see too often. One that keeps you glancing to the back of Jeongguk's head.
He fidgets, you notice. Gets restless.
You're unaware it's because it's taking everything in him not to turn around and steal a glance in your direction. Doesn't know how to be near you without being close to you. Hates it. Wishes you were by his side.
And yet when the time comes for Jeongguk to pass over the rings, he's smooth. Calm. Collected. Everything he needs to be and more. Doesn't drop them, which is what you'd been fearing more than anything.
A wave of relief flushes over you as he takes his seat once more, his job done.
God, how you wish you were beside him so that you could give his hand a little squeeze. Nothing noticeable. Just a silent well done. Pride; shown in private, but not in secret.
Instead, you're forced to sit with an uncomfortable longing in your chest. A need to be closer to him. It's not a new feeling, per se, but it's definitely one that isn't usually as intense as it is right now. Something's changed.
The feeling is washed away with a roar of congratulations as the newly minted Min's share their first kiss as a wedded couple. Soft, serene smiles are plastered all over their faces from the pandemonium, but the kiss perseveres. It's the first of a lifetime, so they're gonna make it count.
When they finally pull away for air, Seoyeon's hand is raised into the air, Yoongi's hand hooked behind her back as she cheers in pure delight. They really are the perfect tale of compromise, struggle, and fruition. A romance that has endured.
It's been an honour to witness it - and as Jeongguk silently walks beside you to the reception, you can't help but be glad you're experiencing it with him.
Tables arranged in seating groups of six, you're pleased to find yourself sitting with Danbi. You've been assigned one of the top tables, with Seoyeon's sister and her other half, Dokyeom. Naturally, the remaining spaces go to Jeongguk and Taehyung.
Every bit as ethereal as Seoyeon, Seobi is a little more put together than her sister. She's got the height in her family, and a slightly better poise, but also has a look about her that lets you know she's just as much fun as Seoyeon.
Dokyeom looks like he's been copied and pasted out of the pages of an Italian fashion magazine documenting Milan Fashion Week. With a sharp nose, and just as strong jawline, you're surprised by how much he softens when he smiles - and given that he smiles almost every single time Seobi speaks, it's like having sunshine bottled up and put on your table. He even gives Hoseok a run for his money (but you'll never tell him that).
"So," Seobi says over wine between courses at dinner. Has been ever so chatty and curious about both you and Danbi. Though you're new to her, you're clearly important to Seoyeon - after all, the wedding party isn't that massive. Just their nearest and dearest. She glances towards Jeongguk, who's currently embroiled in some hot topic with Dokyeom. "How long have you guys been together?"
What a great question , you think to yourself, trying not to let the panic on your face show - but your pause sort of gives it away. You glance over to Jeongguk now. It's quick, but not quick enough for Seobi not to notice.
"Oh, unless, you're not?" She laughs a little.
You grit your teeth a little bashfully, then say, "Let me confer quickly."
Squeezing Jeongguk's arm, he's instantly pulled away from the conversation he's in. Hastily apologises to Dokyeom, then looks towards you.
"Yeah?"
And it's probably just because you're tipsy and this is all so stupid, but you find yourself absolutely enamoured. Grin, as you ask, "How long have we been together?"
Jeongguk pauses. The chatter around you both fades into silence. There's no one else in the room, as far as he's concerned. A smirk lingers on his lips. "Together?"
"Mhmm," you say quietly. "Seobi asked."
He turns now, the room chatter quickly clattering back into his ears. With a small smile on his lips, Jeongguk says to Seobi, "Like, a year. She's been playing hard to get, though."
With that, he dips. Rejoins his conversation. Leaves you with an incredulous look of bewilderment on your face.
"That's a long time to play hard to get, girl," Seobi laughs - but she also knows Jeongguk reasonably well by now. Was around during the Hayun days. Is pretty sure Jeongguk exclusively goes for girls who won't give him an easy win. "I'm impressed."
You know you could deny it. Could say he's making up. That you aren't together.
But it's a nice reality to think he's been yours for that long.
Deflecting the conversation back to her, you get the details on her and Dokyeom; how she actually met him through Jeongguk, and how they've known each other for years. Tells you about their awkward limbo between friendship and relationship, and how it's the best leap of faith she's ever made.
"Didn't believe him at first," she admits. Sips on her wine, and says, "Thought the idiot kept getting his heartbroken, but turned out the girls he was dating kept asking him to choose between me and them."
"And he always chose you?"
She nods. Looks smug, but incredibly sweet about it. Is just proud of the man she gets to call hers. "And he always chose me. He just never told me. Thought I'd figure it out."
It's sort of a blessing to hear that not everyone has the fairytale coming together like Yoongi and Seoyeon, or the slightly less romantic but still incredibly straightforward coupling of Taehyung and Danbi. That maybe your history with Jeongguk will be the making of you, not the downfall.
You almost choke on your wine when Seobi follows up with, "The she-devil given you any grief over it?"
It's now that you realise the most stark difference between Seoyeon and Seobi: their temperaments. While Seoyeon is a peacekeeper, Seobi has no time to entertain people she deems a threat to those she cares about. Knows of Hayun doing one too many shady shenanigans in the past to think that she's good for anything other than drama.
"Given that you don't need me to mention her by name, I'll take that as a yes," Seobi smiles, reading your expression perfectly. Rolls her eyes.
"It's not been so bad," you downplay the gravity of her impact.
"She told Dokyeom he could do better than me, once," she says, the taste of the words bitter in her mouth. Glares ever so briefly in the direction of Hayun's table. "Trust me, I know she's a cow."
"Why on earth would she do that?!" You almost gasp. It's one thing feeling possessive over Jeongguk, but another guy? Who she'd have known was friends with Jeongguk? Seems unreasonable.
"His nose," she says, deadly serious. So serious in fact, that you can't help but laugh - and then so does she. "It's true! She always goes for guys with great noses. I can't fault her. Jeongguk's ain't half bad, but it's got nothing on Dokyeom's."
"I'd beg to differ," you grin, appreciative of Dokyeom's nose, but thinking it can't compare. That's the thing though - of course you're enamoured with Jeongguk's nose just as much as she is with Dokyeom's. Goes with the territory.
"Well, you would," she grins right back. "But that's the thing, you actually give a shit about him. She was just a selfish bint looking for the next good nose."
Beneath the table, you reach out. Both of Jeongguk's elbows are on the table, hands out of the way, so you gently stroke his thigh. Just want to let him know that you're there, and that you do care. Not just about how unbearably sexy that nose of his is, but all of him.
Silently, still engrossed in his conversation, Jeongguk brings one of his hands down. Tucks it beneath the table. Finds yours. Interlocks your fingers together.
Pouting as she observes you both, Seobi is glad Jeongguk has you.
"Look after him," she muses quietly. "Him and his nose."
The night's celebrations proceed exactly as you expect them to; a myriad of champagne and confetti.
You all drink far too much, and dance a little too hard. Hayun is avoided for the most part, but not ignored entirely. You smile during conversations that involve her. Seoyeon is a girlie of peace, so you'll give her exactly that for her special day.
The only downside to a wedding is that the happy couple has to spend so much time entertaining other people. Seoyeon and Yoongi seem to have to constantly greet guests or say goodbye to older family members instead of revelling in one another's company.
In fact, the first time they truly do get a moment alone is when Seoyeon goes to change out of her wedding dress into an evening gown. Takes Yoongi with her, understandably.
Bouquet left on the table, the girls sit around a giggle, all incredibly wine-drunk. Gossiping and enthusing over little stories, there's an ease to it all - even if you are across the table from Hayun.
The boys are busy out on the front lawn. Yoongi had tossed Jeongguk the rest of his wedding cigars as he'd headed up to the bridal suite with Seoyeon. Felt like a shame to waste them. Also suggested that Yoongi wanted something to keep the boys entertained, knowing he'd be gone for a little while.
Toying with the ribbon around the stems of Seoyeon's baby's breath bouquet, Seobi muses, "I wonder which one of us will be next?"
It's her and Dokyeom, guaranteed. You only met them a matter of hours ago, but it seems like the only logical conclusion to draw. Taehyung and Danbi are nowhere near that point yet, and you and Jeongguk are still cosplaying as besties.
"Well if it's not you and Dokyeom," Hayun says a little absent-mindedly, as if she's forgotten whose company she's in. "Then it'll be me and Gguk. We've got that dumb pact of ours to see through."
She laughs, but she's the only one.
Everyone else just kind of looks at you.
"What?" she grins, but doesn't look in your direction. Shrugs, with such carelessness that you know she must be looking to get a rise out of you. There's no reason she'd open herself up for embarrassment like this if she didn't think she could embarrass you even more. Though red might be her colour, she doesn't like to be red in the face. "A pact's a pact, and we're both single. He's always been a man of his word, so why wouldn't he make an honest woman-"
"Yun," Nabi interrupts. Is stern. Looks at her friend, willing her to just keep her mouth shut. Knows that even if you and Jeongguk aren't specifically official, that you aren't exactly single, either. Very much the opposite.
Instead of listening to her, Hayun seems to find this all hilarious. "We could literally do it tomorrow." Her eyes seem so nostalgic that you almost feel bad. "Y'know, we made a cake once. Froze it. Said we'd use it-"
"Seriously, Yun."
"-if we ever got married. It's probably still there in the back of his free-."
"It's not," you finally interrupt. Honestly have no idea if it is in his freeze or not. Fabricate a story, just because you can't bear the thought of her knowing the intricacies of his home better than you do. "Gguk cleared it out ages ago so he could freeze Jimin's pens into an ice block. Said it was nothing special when he tossed it in the bin. Had terrible freezer burn. Clearly didn't care about preserving it. Sorry."
It's entirely plausible, you think, for Jeongguk to do such a thing to Jimin. Wouldn't be surprised if it is the kind of prank played in their apartment.
But just like you have no idea if her claims are legitimate, Hayun has no idea if you're telling the truth or not.
She shrugs. Looks directly at you, now. Smiles. Says, "Maybe he'll pick you as his Best Woman, given how close you guys are."
Hayun is playing entirely dumb to the fact she knows Jeongguk is head over heels for you. Wants to reduce you to nothing more than what you pretend to be: friends .
Part of you wonders if she's baiting you out. Trying to get you to admit it, that you and Jeongguk have been far more than just friends for a while.
The rest of you thinks she's just doing it to upset you.
Absolutely no part of you thinks she's delusional enough to actually believe what she's saying.
"Yeah, maybe," you smile, deciding not to rise to her. Glance over to Nabi. "You'll be maid of honour, right?"
She says nothing, because while yes, she will be Hayun's maid of honour when the time comes, she absolutely knows for certain that it won't be during a marriage between Hayun and Jeongguk, of all people.
"As seriously as I'll take the role of Best Woman, I'm afraid I have to tell you that I won't seduce you," you pout in Nabi's direction, making fun of the best man and maid of honour stereotype. It's not that Nabi isn't gorgeous, or undeserving of someone fawning over her - it's just that you're being petty and want to hit Hayun where it hurts with what you say next. "I mean, I can't fuck the maid of honour and the groom. That'd just be messy."
There's a couple of gasps, and some chortled laughs. Danbi curses, completely taken off guard by the fact you've just openly admitted to fucking Jeongguk.
Realistically, she knows it's more than just fucking. Knows you'll do anything for him. Knows that all of this is just a rouse to wind Hayun up.
"It'll be really cool of you to let me be the Best Woman, though," you insist, focusing back on Hayun, now. "Most girls don't like their partners being friends with exes, let alone invite them to their wedding! Such cool girlie energy from you, Yunnie ."
You're deliberately being patronising and you don't care. She started it. The only people left at the venue are your friends, so there's no worry about a public fall out, even if it is becoming more uncomfortable.
"We all know he only has exes because he couldn't have me," she shrugs, as if she actually believes that. "It's no threat."
You know she means to say ' you're no threat. '
You also know that would be a lie.
"It wasn't meant to be," you smile, just as good at playing faux-friendly as she is. "But he could totally have you, now, with the way you keep throwing yourself on him - yet he couldn't want you less, even if he tried. Funny, that."
A child-like fury sets into Hayun's features. There's no way she's winning this - but you don't exactly want to keep it up, either.
Pushing your chair back, you get to your feet, and smile. Excuse yourself. Head outside to where the scent of cigar smoke lingers in the cool early summer air.
With the changing seasons come the promise of something new. Something unprecedented. You'll never get the days ahead of you ever again. You'll rip them away like numbers in a raffle book, and toss them into a bin. Occasionally you'll get a winner - and when you spot Jeongguk laughing about something, stubbing out his cigar as soon as he sees you appear, you can't help but think this is one of those occasions.
"Hey," you grab his attention, squeezing his arm. "Just gonna run over to the rooms quickly. Want a jacket."
A little vacant in his registering of your words, Jeongguk turns away from the conversation he was in. Thinks nothing of the way he comes to walk alongside you, a hand on the small of your back.
"You don't have to come," you laugh. Had only been telling him so that you could keep him in the loop. Still, it's nice to have him follow you in the way that he does: without question, without request, without reason.
"Wanna," he just shrugs. "Haven't seen you in like, an hour."
"Oh, no," you tease. "How on earth have you coped?"
"Terribly," he admits, sipping on the beer still in his hand that isn't on your back. Passes it over to you. There's an easy silence when you take a sip, beer warm and bitter in your mouth. No need to fill the space where conversations typically are. In fact, it's the first time either of you have had the chance to rest your brains all evening.
Returning the bottle to its original owner, you snake your arm around his waist. Heels off, you'd left them in the reception venue, which is fine - except for when you reach the gravel driveway.
"C'mon," he insists, dopping his posture a little, positioning himself in front of you. "I'll carry you."
"It's fine-"
"Get on," he says, turning back over his shoulder. "It'll be quicker."
Your first attempt at jumping on his back fails. Has you both laughing. Are too drunk to coordinate yourselves properly.
Eventually, though, you land the jump just right. Wrap yourself around his body, and take his beer bottle so he can support your legs. Trust him with your body in the most innocent of ways.
He carries you the entire way without complaint, but as he puts you down outside the hanok rooms, Jeongguk simply says, "You can just borrow my jacket."
There's a curious wonder to the way you look at him, glitter shining under the low lighting of the pathway guides. This far out of the city, it's easy to see the stars - but Jeongguk would argue that it's always this easy whenever he's around you.
Narrowing your eyes, you tilt your head. "Could have offered ten minutes ago. Saved yourself a walk."
He purses his lips. Tries not to smile.
"True," he nods, drawing you closer, nudging his nose up against yours. Whispers against your lips, "But I couldn't have done this."
It's not new, the way Jeongguk's lips sink into yours.
The way he smiles into the feeling? Not new, at all.
The way you pull him closer and giggle between kisses, is again, nothing new.
Nor is the pressure of his lip ring, nor how his tongue strokes against your bottom lip. The way he kisses you is tried and tested; guaranteed to have you both melting into one another's touch.
You're not entirely sure how long it lasts. All you know is that your lips are a little numb, and his are now the colour of your lipstick.
Serene, as you stroke across his bottom lip with your thumb, you wonder how you made it this far with a man who makes you feel as secure as Jeongguk. Quietly hum, "Can I ask you something?"
He nods. "Anything."
And even though you already know the answer, you just have to be sure. Have to know. Aren't sure what you'll do if Jeongguk gives you a different answer than the one you expect.
"The pact... The one with Hayun." Upon hearing your words, Jeongguk frowns. Understands what you're asking immediately. "Is it... Like, will it still happen?"
There's a soft shake to his head. Silence. A deeper frown, and then, "No, Byeol."
"Even if we-"
"Even if we call things off," he cuts you off. Thinks it's vital that you know how serious he is about this. Knows you met him at a time when the answer would have been different, so that it might be hard to believe now. "B, that chapter of my life-" he shrugs. "-It's done. Completely. Entirely."
"Even if you're single at thirty?"
"If I'm single at thirty, it means I've fucked things up with you," he states, swallowing back the uncomfortable feeling that comes with that potential. Looks down, jaw a little tense. Shakes his head, then focuses his hardened gaze in on you again. "I liked telling Seobi we're a couple, earlier. I want that reality. And I also want you to stop second-guessing my intentions, B. You know how I feel about you."
You're silent, now. Hadn't even realised that your insecurities had been tarnishing his vulnerability.
You do believe him. Of course, you do. There's never been a pair of eyes more honest than his.
And maybe it's because he's drunk, and feeling everything a little more intensely, but Jeongguk feels like he simply can't take it any longer. Is in dire need of something more than the 'nothing' you're pretending to be.
But he's got a plan, and a way that he wants to do things, and a handful of more dates until he can do any of that.
So instead, he rests his forehead against yours. Wants to give you his heart, but will settle for his outerwear. Insists, "Wear my jacket, B. Please."
It's a curious way to declare your status as 'his'.
A shared blazer is exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a way to keep warm - but it's a sacrifice of his own comfort. A display of his desire to provide. Slightly primal, you think, as you wrap yourself in the scent of his cologne and the warmth of his body.
The garment swamps you, but Jeongguk thinks it looks sweet. Likes how undeniable it is that his pocket square matches your dress perfectly, now that it's on you.
And so when you return, Jungook takes the opportunity to dance with you in a way that you really shouldn't dance with a 'friend.'
Palms finding your waist beneath his jacket, the low lighting of the pavilion isn't enough to obscure the intimacy from onlookers. He's holding you close for everyone to see. For speculation to be made. For gossip to spread and for whispers to echo.
And they do.
Nodding across to the pair of you, Yoongi smiles. Leans across to his new wife as they sit together for a breather, and says, "Think they're finally getting their shit together."
Seoyeon can see it in your eyes; the way you look at Jeongguk.
It's the same way she looks at Yoongi.
Glancing across the room, Seoyeon is quick to check if Hayun has clocked what's happening, and frowns when she notices the little bit of agony resting between her friend's impeccably shaped brows. Regret, perhaps.
Seoyeon chooses not to mention it to Yoongi.
Instead, she rests her chin on her shoulder and looks at him. Waits for him to look at her, too. When he does, she smiles. "Do you think they'll go the distance?"
The answer is obvious. She just wants Yoongi's opinion so that she knows how to handle Hayun in the wake of it all. She's still her friend, after all. Still not someone she wants to see hurting.
But Seoyeon also knows there's no way in hell she can let Hayun throw a tantrum and disrupt the fledgeling romance between you and Jeongguk. It wouldn't be fair. Not to anyone.
Yoongi nods. Is quiet when he replies, "I think so."
He continues to watch his wife as her warm eyes focus on the pair of you once more. There's laughter between you both, Jeongguk leaning close to whisper in your ear as you slowly waltz together.
Hand in hand, there's no mistaking how naturally it comes to you both. A warm glow of exposed bulbs paint you both in an orange hue; toasty warm and quite content. The sparkle that's forever on your skin is in your eyes, too. And his. Sort of feels like watching a cosmic calamity take place.
There's something incredibly ordinary about you and Jeongguk. Totally unsurprising. Puzzle pieces correctly slotting into place.
What makes you special is that you're the final pieces of the puzzle. The ones that make it complete; that end the painstaking trials it takes to create the perfect picture.
"Okay, okay," you chuckle, deliberately trying not to draw attention to the conversation you're having. It's nonsense. Makes you feel all warm inside, how joyful it is to be with a person like him. He grips your waist when you laugh. Likes the way it feels. "Next hypothetical: Genie grants you one wish. No money, no bringing anyone back from the dead, no superpowers. What's the wish?"
"What's the point in a wish if I can't get superpowers?!" He protests, quietly and giggly, just like you are.
"The point is that it has to be something you really want."
"I do really want to fly-"
"Then get a plane."
"You're no fun, Byeol," he grins, suggesting that you are, in fact, a lot of fun. "Please let me have superpowers."
"Nope."
"Plea-"
"No," you laugh, knowing it's too much of an easy out. "C'mon. Use that brain of yours, babe."
And maybe it's just because you're a little drunk, or maybe it's cause the romantic air of a wedding has your brain a little loopy, but 'babe' almost feels normal. Almost.
The way Jeongguk cocks his brow, but says nothing about it – just accepts the term of endearment – makes you think that maybe it is normal.
Jeongguk would quite like it to be the norm. Finds himself all rather endeared, actually. Wants to kiss you. Knows he shouldn't.
So instead, he tells you, "I wish we were alone."
It's not that he wants to leave, or that he's bored of the celebrations. He's enjoying this dance floor far too much, and still has energy to burn from the sheer amount of cake he practically inhaled after dinner.
It's just that everything is so loud.
But when it's you, and him, in an empty room, Jeongguk's brain switches off. Falls into a natural state of being. It's the only calm he thinks he's ever known. Comfort, in a life that routinely feels uncomfortable.
"Why?" You smile, all tipsy and tepid, as if your heart isn't beating a mile a minute thanks to how risky this feels. It's like you're scared you're gonna get caught – but caught for what? You and Jeongguk are exactly what everyone thinks you are. There's nothing to hide, because it's impossible to keep a chemistry like yours secret.
You're caesium in water; nitrous oxide and carbon disulfide meeting an open flame. Things learned about as kids, but rarely – if ever – seen in adult life.
In fact, there's only one other example of such chemistry in this room, and they're sitting at the top table with freshly polished rings around their fourth fingers.
"You know why," Jeongguk simply says, then decides that simplicity is for idiots. Wants to embellish his words. Fluff them up. Make them stupid and irrational and ever so foolish. Wants to declare, because he thinks declarations are what you deserve. "Just wanna be with you, B. Constantly. It's like I have tinnitus whenever there are other people around, but then I see you and it-"
The word 'stops' is lost in your lips. It's fast and it's fleeting, but it's your own declaration right back to him: I want you, proudly.
Like the dragonflies you'd marvelled at earlier, your lips only flutter against his for a small fraction of time. Just long enough for him to know what magic feels like.
When you pull away, Jeongguk's eyes stay closed, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"What?" you giggle, squeezing the sides of his waist with so much adoration that he thinks he'll melt into your touch. "Am I not allowed to kiss you?"
On a technicality, no. You're not. You'd agreed to let things fly under the radar – but you're both tipsy, and you both hate the idea of other people simply being unaware.
Because you are proud.
You are his.
And you want that red hot pair of eyes on you to know it, too.
To know that he's yours. Him, and his pretty nose.
"It's against the rules," he smiles – then steals one right back.
"When it comes to rules, we always seem to break them," you hum, all serene and docile in the wake of Jeongguk's reciprocation.
That's the thing about you both. Are just handfuls of bad decisions wrapped up with bows and dusted in glitter. So pristinely messy that you wouldn't be out of place in the Tate, or SOMA, or some other gallery Jeongguk hasn't heard of but you know intimately. Displayed somewhere not too far from Tracy Emin's My Bed, or Kang Wonje's Black Star. Entirely human and yet not of this world at all. Will be adored by the masses; and will confuse just as many. An invaluable piece of art that will never be auctioned, 'cause you can't put a price on this. On love.
"It's what they were made for," he promises.
"Well, in that case," you hum, getting on your tiptoes to whisper in his ear. You're about to make an incredibly bad decision, and you know it - you're just beyond caring. "I think know a couple more rules we can break."
And the way Jeongguk looks at you would suggest he's past the point of caring, too.
"Fuck it."

Can I ask what you think bells hells sound like in bed? Like who’s loud, who’s quiet? Who likes dirty talk and who prefers to just moan?
-cracks knuckles- oh you ABSOLUTELY can ask.
I think a LOT about character voices, especially when I listen to them talk for so long, so this is giving me leeway to ramble for a loooong time.
Below a cut because NSFW, long, etc.
Ashton: Capable of being very quiet, because all of their teenage fooling-around happened in shared rooms. Obviously swearing constantly. I think he's more likely to cut off in the middle of a sentence and gasp or straight up growl than he is to moan. The dirty talk is 70% the word 'fuck'. Sounds dangerously similar to how they sound when they get their ass kicked. Which is hot af. Like ragged and low and out of breath. And, uh. Whatever they were doing when Orym gave them a massage. That exactly.
Braius: We don't know him that well yet so I'm not sure? I think he'd be fairly loud and exuberant, with a lot of praise for his partner. Lots of talking, not concerned with whoever tf might hear him. He's a slippery one, voice-wise, it's hard to place him.
Chet: .......guys I don't know if I wanna picture all the weird old gnome noises. I think probably it's half weird old gnome noises and half werewolf howling. Probably very bad at dirty talk but in a charming way. He's silly with it, and silly sex is important! I do also like the idea of him dropping into the werewolf voice too <3 werewolf transformation during sex is also important. He is talking JUST as loud as he always does. That man cannot whisper.
Dorian: Obviously his voice is beautiful, and I imagine that if you do things right, you can get him up into that really high-pitched voice he does sometimes, usually actually when he's nervous. Dorian's such a proper lad so he doesn't swear very much (it's hard to write from his pov bc I don't think he even swears much in his own head) but I think you can get him rambling if you try. It's not that dirty, per se? But if he's very plain about what he's feeling it can be unintentionally filthy. The air genasi unending breath thing is of course something I use a lot in fics, and I like to think of it as an emotional response, like a gasp that doesn't end, but you can't vocalize much unless you're breathing in or out, so he's quiet when he does that. And he's a romantic! Very likely to just say "I love you" when he comes.
FCG: you might've thought I wasn't putting FCG on this list but THINK AGAIN, I want them and Frida to have at least one night of robot passion! Now. Do I think robot sex noises sound like dial-up? Yeah. Yeah I do. Actually, Letters probably sounds like dial-up, Frida probably sounds like..... like the haptic noises on the PS4 home screen. Listen I know that's a weird pull but that's the closest thing I've got. I think there would be a lot of talking and communication, probably a lot more of that than there is of sex. However robot sex happens. I've read some fanfiction for them and it's cute!
Fearne: oh fearnie <3 she probably sounds SO beautiful, her voice is already so breathy and sweet! I think (and often write) that the tone of sickeningly sweet condescension she pulls on people sometimes, especially when she's laying it on thick while lying to someone, comes out when she's domming. Generally more soft and gentle with her voice but she can get loud too, especially if she's trying to be noisy on purpose. Moans a TON and sounds good doing it. She can get a little theatrical if she knows her partner's into it, not in a way where she's faking it, but letting herself put more oomph into it than she needs to.
Imogen: I can see her doing a lot more low, gentle talking that gets interrupted by little gasps. Definitely the type who puts her hands over her face when she gets too overwhelmed, so she muffles herself a little bit. Not very loud, but tends to get kind of startled into making noises. It would also be cute as hell if she goes completely quiet sometimes but just sends out a BARRAGE of horny emotions telepathically.
Laudna: Very loud and has no idea she's doing it. Will say Imogen's name 30 times in one minute. I feel like she rotates between soft, whispery sort of talking and extremely loud crying out. Her higher register when she talks tends to be very loud and clear (think how she calls out a name when she's sending a Message to someone) so you can hear her anywhere in the building.
Orym: Somewhat similar to how I picture Imogen, I think Orym is big into praising his partner in that kind of low, gentle voice he has when he's explaining something (the scene I'm picturing is when he's describing his and Will's family as they're coming into Zephrah). Unexpectedly filthy, though (Orym is pretty good at keeping it professional but does swear in a way that sounds natural and probably dirty talks like that, too). Very calmly tells his partner exactly what he wants to do to them--let's not forget that Orym makes a LOT of sex jokes, like only slightly less than Fearne and Chet. If he bottoms he's probably less verbal, but still kind of quiet, little moans and gasps separated by half-sentences.
#critical role#nsfw-ish#imo the nicest to listen to is orym or ash#and the one you might consider gagging is chet

Ahh!! I love your writing so much, and I'm so excited to see your rq's open! And, if I could, Wyll looking for Ulder and his fiancé, who he was worried Ulder wouldn't like bc she's off putting sometimes (I'm thinking Body 3 Drow but I am biased from that one anon) and instead finds them chatting it the fuck up. Absolutely gabbering about everything. I just adore domestic Wyll
I also just adore domestic Wyll too ! Thank you so much !!!

Wyll x Drow!Fiance!reader | Plotting
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The party was in full swing, filled with the warm glow of lanterns and the murmur of conversation. Music hummed through the air, and Wyll navigated through the crowd with an air of tension about him. His eyes scanned the room, searching, always searching for two people—Ulder Ravengard, his father, and you, his fiancée.
He had been nervous all day, stomach in knots at the idea of introducing the two of you. Ulder was a strong presence, a man with commanding authority, and while Wyll knew you were more than capable of holding your own in any conversation, there was still a lingering anxiety about how the two most important people in his life would get along. You, a proud and strong Drow woman, could be a bit… off-putting to people unaccustomed to your forthright nature and the formidable stature you carried so effortlessly. Even though you had a softer side that only Wyll knew, he feared his father would not see past the prejudices many surface-dwellers held toward the Drow.
The room swirled with faces, laughter, and clinking glasses, but Wyll couldn’t focus on any of it. He was determined to find you both before any awkwardness could ruin the night.
Finally, his eyes landed on a familiar figure in the distance. You were standing by one of the large bay windows, looking striking as always in a deep violet gown that hugged your muscled frame in all the right places. The light of the lanterns reflected off your midnight-dark skin, your silver hair tied up in a loose but elegant knot at the base of your neck. Standing beside you, much to Wyll’s surprise, was Ulder Ravengard, a drink in his hand as he leaned in, engaged in what seemed to be a lively conversation.
Wyll’s heart skipped a beat. Was it going well? He took a few cautious steps closer, straining to hear the tone of your voices before deciding whether to intervene.
He stopped in his tracks, listening in with a mix of confusion and relief.
“…and then, instead of taking the obvious route, Wyll decides to climb over the damned fence—gets stuck halfway up, mind you. There he is, legs kicking like mad, making enough noise to wake the dead!” Ulder was laughing, a deep, rich sound that Wyll hadn’t heard in ages. The former Grand Duke seemed completely at ease, his face softening into an amused smile as he told the embarrassing childhood story.
“And what did he do?” you asked, grinning, your eyes gleaming with interest. Wyll recognized the playful spark in your expression, the one you usually reserved for when you were about to tease him mercilessly.
“He dangled there for a good five minutes until the stablehand had to come out and haul him down!” Ulder shook his head, clearly enjoying the memory.
You chuckled, the sound low and rich, and Wyll felt his breath catch. The sound of your laughter, combined with his father’s, was something he hadn’t expected. But here you both were, sharing stories as if you had known each other for years.
“Oh, I can believe that,” you replied, a mischievous glint in your eyes. “It reminds me of the time we were up against a group of gnolls. Wyll decided he could talk them down—started lecturing them about the importance of teamwork or something.” You waved a hand, recalling the moment with dramatic flair. “One of the gnolls actually sat down to listen—only for the rest of them to try and rip him apart five minutes later.”
Ulder barked out a laugh, slapping his knee. “That sounds exactly like him! Always with the speeches, isn’t he? I told him he could not have a pet mephit and he spoke of it for days like some great injustice. It almost worked, he was always the charismatic one.”
You nodded, eyes twinkling with affection as you glanced in Wyll’s direction, catching sight of him at last.
“Oh, absolutely. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.” You gave Wyll a small wink, which made his heart skip.
Wyll stood frozen for a moment, taking in the scene with a mix of relief and embarrassment. Here he was, worrying for nothing. His father and his fiancée, two people he had feared would clash, were standing together, sharing stories and laughing at his expense.
“Well, well, what do we have here?” Wyll finally said, stepping forward, a sheepish grin on his face. “Plotting against me already?”
Both you and Ulder turned to face him, still smiling broadly.
“Just reminiscing,” Ulder said, setting his drink down on a nearby table. He approached Wyll, clasping a firm hand on his son’s shoulder. “You’ve picked well, son. I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but—” He gestured toward you with a nod. “She’s quite remarkable. You’ve found yourself a strong one, haven’t you?”
Wyll’s heart swelled with pride and relief. He glanced at you, and you just smirked, raising an eyebrow as if to say, well, of course.
“I’ve been telling him that for years,” you said, crossing your arms in mock offense. “But he doesn’t always listen.”
Wyll chuckled, stepping over to stand beside you, feeling your presence like a steady anchor in the room. You were tall, muscled, and intimidating to many, but to him, you were warmth, comfort, and strength personified. Ulder looked between the two of you, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
“I see what you mean,” he said, as if realizing something. “You two complement each other well. Good balance.”
Wyll’s heart fluttered. His father’s approval, something he had quietly hoped for, felt like a weight lifting off his shoulders. He squeezed your hand gently, knowing full well that you had won Ulder over with nothing more than your unfiltered self—and maybe a few well-timed jabs at his expense.
“Balance,” Wyll echoed, turning to you with a warm smile. “That’s one way to put it.”
You grinned back, giving him a playful nudge with your elbow. “He means you’re lucky to have me.”
Wyll shook his head, eyes sparkling. “Luckiest man in the world.”
Ulder clapped him on the shoulder again. “You’ve done well, son. Very well.”
As the evening wore on, the three of you continued to talk—stories of Wyll’s childhood and adventures flowing freely. Wyll no longer felt the weight of his earlier anxieties. Instead, he felt a sense of peace, knowing that the two most important people in his life had found common ground. Even if that ground happened to be poking fun at him, he would take it, happily.
By the end of the night, as Ulder bid his farewells, Wyll stood by your side, his arm draped over your shoulder. He glanced down at you, his heart full of gratitude and love. You caught his eye, your expression softening in that way it only did when it was just the two of you.
“Thank you,” Wyll whispered, pressing a kiss to your temple. “For everything.”
You gave him a small, satisfied smile, leaning into his warmth. “Of course, Wyll. I’ll always have your back.”

Jealous Dan Stevens' Characters Headcanons
A/N: A little more for Herr König than the rest bc I'm excited. But yeah, I'm kinda back. Sorry, I've been so busy. Also, tell me if I can give Herr König a name! It would make it easier for me to write.
Pairing(s): Travis "Trapper" Beasley x GN!Reader, Adam "Frank" Barnett x GN!Reader (Separate), David Collins x GN!Reader (Separate), Herr König x Reader (Separate)
Contains: Mentions of unwanted advances, jealousy (obviously), mentions of guns, Confident Frank, Nervous Trapper, David being... crazy, MY FIRST TIME WRITING HERR König
Frank
Frank is definitely the jealous type. He craves power & he wants you to be his & only his. You're very important to him & he doesn't know what he'd do if he lost you. Especially if someone stole you away from him.
He is also the kind of guy to play off his jealousy, or better yet, pretend he isn't jealous. He'll give you a smirk or a scoff & simply state, "Me, jealous? Look at me, Y/N!"
If someone is casually flirting or being nice, he doesn't worry too much. But he will watch. He trusts you, but he doesn't trust the person flirting with you. If they touch your arm or so much as compliment you, he's wincing & looking for alcohol. He doesn't want to control you.
If someone tries to make an unwanted advance he's right there in seconds. He's got you behind him, one hand on your arm & another ready to grab his gun. Frank likely towers over whoever is flirting with you. He sounds polite but everyone within earshot knows his true feelings. He wants to rip this person to shreds.
"Well, hello. I don't believe we've met, I'm their boyfriend."
"Now is that how we treat someone as lovely as this?"
If he feels the guy hitting you is particularly douchey he'll address himself as your husband, despite you guys not being married. It brings him great satisfaction to call himself that, your husband, & it usually gets the particularly annoying ones to back off.
Trapper
Trapper is a sweetheart. If he gets jealous it's going to be hard for him to tell you. You're just so perfect in his eyes, of course, every human on this planet can see it. He tends to get pretty quiet when he's jealous. Not because he wants you to notice his absence, but because he gets so nervous.
He likes to stay attached to you if he can. Even if you're turned away from him at the moment he likes to keep ahold of your hand. If you're facing the same way his arm will be around you in one way or another.
If you introduce him as your boyfriend he'll perk up. A wave of energy & excitement enters him & he gets all bubbly. He's safe, he knew he could trust you. He just gets anxious sometimes.
If someone gives you unwanted attention though, he's not afraid to assert himself. His fear with jealousy is upsetting you, or not being enough. But he's dealt with Titans, some random creepy guy is nothing.
He will mostly de-escalate & get you out of there, get you safe. But he is completely willing to fight for you.
David
David has a short temper with jealousy, but he is very methodical. He won't get mad at you but he may get short with you, which is very noticeable.
Simple no's or yes'... mostly no's to any of your questions. The reason he's short is simple. His hand is in his pocket, clutching his flip knife with an iron grip, vividly daydreaming of the things he could be doing with the flirt that stood opposite you.
Once you notice all you have to do is redirect your attention to him & things will lighten up. He will still be staring daggers, or flip knives, into your admirer.
David has some sort of toxic masculinity bullshit that is usually under control, but if he feels like he's competing with a man for your attention he might start acting more animalistic. Puffing up his chest, showing off his skills, showing that he is the better man.
But again, once he feels safe in your love, he's back to his normal still kinda crazy self. A simple hand on his cheek & a soft kiss is all he needs to wrap right back around your finger, his attention solely on you.
Herr König (Opinions on me giving him a first name? I kinda want to)
Herr König tries to eliminate all jealousy possible. You live together in his villa & spend most of your time at the resort. But he does like to treat you to dinners or show you around the nearby towns. It brings him joy to show off his amazing partner from time to time.
One thing he especially likes to do is take you dancing, it's a hobby of his. Occasionally you'll even take lessons together. He recognized immediately that the star "student" in the class was attractive. He also noticed them taking glances at you, sparking up conversations about your day to day life, but never acknowledging your quiet German partner.
That's all anyone really knew about Herr König, because he really only spoke to you... in German. He didn't feel that he needed to speak to anyone else, especially your not-so-secret admirer. It felt like a subtle way to show his disdain for the dancer.
There's a time in the class when you swap partners but Herr König would just pretend he couldn't understand your admirer when they asked for your hand to dance. "Es tut mir leid. Sie sind verheiratet. (Roughly: "I'm sorry, they are married.")
Much to Herr König's chagrin, & he swears it was due to sabotage, in the middle of one of your lessons he slipped. He managed to catch himself, somehow, but it did not look smooth. You were worried when he acknowledged his pain but he tried to brush it off. Soon enough your teacher came up & suggested he sit off to the side & ice his foot. He only listened when you agreed that it was what he should do.
& sure enough, that star student saw his chance & swept you away. You had fun, you were smiling... as one does with friends. But your man was livid. He tried to stand but the pain grew to become unbearable. He began plotting to have this person disappear. He could use the cuckoos, yes, that would go nicely.
Your hand on his shoulder drew his attention upward. You gave him a quick peck before offering to help him up. You wanted to go home, dancing wasn't the same without your partner. His stomach filled with butterflies before accepting your invitation to an early exit.
