Ok while i GET the excitement and i had a full blown breakdown when i saw it if but if im being totally completley honest.

Upopular opinion the thomastair snippet made me like 10 times more worried and anxious for chot than it should have and it mostly has to do with mathews attitude.

Now am i hoping this is just dont have the entire context and with the context ill understand why Mathew feels entitled to once again make Alastair do things without asking for *his* opinion. And that im exagerating and WITH CONTEXT-

But to me?? This entire snippet just brought up so many red flags on how Mathews gonna be characterized. Switch out the name with anyone other than Thomas. Make it James, Lucie, even Charles. Switch it out and tell me you dont think Mathew is adressing Alastair a bit to casually here, as if almost it was *demanded* of him to help.

But the moment I read this my first thought was Mathews attitude at the end of choi making Alastair see Charles. How when he said no he then manipukated him into making him think he needed to live up to his sisters image of him.

Im worried thats not gonna be considered a problem, that Mathew will keep demanding things from people who owe no loyalty to him. Alastair owes mathew nothing, Mathew owes Alastair nothing.

We all know if any of the people Mathew cared about *needed* Alastair, hed make sure they git him wether he liked it or not because thats the point of Mathews entire character. Hes a caretaker, believing providing fpr those he loves is worth whatever he does. Whatever mistakes he pulled he isnt pulling for him but that does blind him from seeing when hes taking advatage of people
