God I just 😭 Ace has their foreheads pressed together, one hand pressing to the side of Sabo’s neck, almost a threat, if you back away I'll squeeze, but he wouldn't, and his right hand is tracing the horribly damaged shell of Sabo’s ear, his thumb tracing the edges of the mangled burn scar on his face, presses into the skin beneath his eye, and it's cool and feels nauseatingly wrong — this wasn't here before why is this here who did this to you. Slides his hand up under the bangs that Sabo styles to desperately hide the damage and pushes it away to see every last inch of what the Celestial Dragon had done, memorizes every bump, wrinkle and twist of the gnarled scar, the way his left eye had gone cloudy, the pupil is milky pale, the blue has melted into something almost purple, it's all meshed together and nearly white, and it's horrible but it's perfect cuz it's Sabo.
Then there's Sabo who's leaning into Ace but his feet are firmly against the deck because part of him is ready to jerk away because what if Ace doesn't want him there he needs to be ready to leave, but his right hand is gripping Ace’s bicep so hard he's leaving bruises beneath steely fingers, he can't let go cuz that's his mark, that's his emblem, and Ace had branded himself with is. His left hand is clinging to Ace's right wrist because that hand is touching his scar and half of him wants to knock the roaming fingers away but he can't. Ace’s fingertips burn on his skin and Sabo is scared because Ace is fire, but he would never hurt Sabo. Sabo just stares at his face and feels numb because Ace has so many more freckles now from the years of sun exposure, and his eyes look watery, but the Ace Sabo knew in the past didn't cry, which just scares him more — don't cry don't cry because if you cry I'll cry.
STOP IM SO EMO OVER THEM OAHWISYWUEGQOWYA
suckerpunched by that last part dude wtffff dont cry dont cry if you do i will and that’s essentially baboace to the core omg…
Im so AAAAUAUGSHD
I have nothing else to add bc this all of this is perfect please anon kissing the ground you walk on ohhdhfv

Extra Extra, Read all about it!~ XD (Looks like RWBY has been picked up by Viz Media 0.0! What are your thoughts on the matter Ares? :D)
Yeah, I heard about that. I'm thoroughly on the "wait and see" train, as I've been since...kinda forever. It's nice that it got picked up but at this stage no one knows what Viz media is going to do with the property, whether that's milking it for merch/comics/etc., continuing the show, rebooting the show, or sticking it in their basement and never touching it again.
#massivementalitynut#unofficial adam answers#i am simply not overly invested in this show lol#i am unwell about 1 (one) supremely unwell man and that's it#and he died years ago#(if they bring back the manga tho and i get more adam in that style...i will get so much more unwell so quickly)

I hate it here but let’s at least do a try
Putting this as a meme so maybe y'all will actually read it.
Held: Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts.
And this is why we cannot let Trump win another term: he now has complete immunity for any acts he "officially" performs as president. You thought he was bad before? Now he will have zero fear. He will do whatever he wants. And what he wants is outlined in Project 2025.

Another thing I love about hanahaki is the options for flower symbolism, but like, let's take it a step further
In Wisteria AU obviously Kokichi grows wisteria, which yeah--purple flower to be expected--HOWEVER
I am UNWELL about the symbolic cultural significance of JAPANESE wisteria okay? Love and the transience of time, both longevity and brevity, it speaks a lot I think to how Kokichi's true morals shine at the center of everything he does as a Supreme Leader. He values people and life. Beyond that, though, in Japanese culture wisteria is also a common symbol of good luck to humans, and a protection against or weakness to demons and evil.
Which really is Kokichi's goal, to protect everyone's lives the best he can from the evils of Monokuma and the Killing Game.
Let's go a step FURTHER though because I love to twist the knife when it comes to hanahaki.
Wisteria is TOXIC to humans when ingested.
Yeah that's right. Imagine that, Kokichi's high expectations of himself ultimately becoming his downfall. Poisoning him from the inside out as he puts everyone else's well being before his own, to the point of making everyone believe he's the evil one pulling the strings just to get the killing to stop and everyone to focus on a common enemy.
Imagine in Wisteria AU, Kokichi coughing up gobs of wisteria flowers and having to hold them under his tongue until he can sneak away to spit them out.
He can't just swallow them. They're toxic!
They have an oil on them that irritates the skin. His mouth is full of rashes, his lungs constantly burn.
Being torn apart and poisoned from within by his own morals and sense of duty, because he can't escape his nature as a liar that used to be so safe with his family in DICE, but no one in his class understands what he means, so even when he DOES tell the truth, it feels unexpressed when everyone around him just thinks he's lying again.
Do you see? Do you see the vision???
#fuck Maki's strike 9 poison tbh this shit is killing him way more agonizingly#ouma kokichi#kokichi ouma#drv3#ndrv3#danganronpa#ultimate archivist#hanahaki#wisteriav3rse

Aziraphale's smile
So a lot of people are talking about Aziraphale's weird, creepy smile at the end of ep6, and some wonder what's with that smile. I do agree that it's the weirdest thing Aziraphale has ever done, and it's really disturbing, but I think there's too much speculation on what this smile means (by that I mean that people make entire theories based on that smile, or at least it's one of their clues).
Personally, I think this smile is Aziraphale processing things.
More specifically, I think he's forcing this smile. You can see that because it takes a considerable amont of time to appear on his face (up to 20 seconds), it is PAINFUL to watch.
But why would he do that? Well, first, he needs to collect himself; he can't possibly arrive in Heaven looking destroyed, right? He has to show that he's honoured about the offer, that he's strong. But I don't think that's the Main Reason why he's smiling.
I think that Aziraphale is smiling because he's processing that he has taken the right decision. That seems obvious but I don't see many people mentioning it. To be clear, I mean that during The Scene, while he was talking with Crowley (and mainly breaking both of their hearts) he just didn't know about the Second Coming. When Crowley left, Aziraphale was literally destroyed, and most importantly, having doubts about his decision. It's visible because when the Metatron comes, he almost gives up. He hesistates: "But, um... my bookshop..." and still goes "but" after the Metatron says he's given his bookshop to Muriel; and then right after saying there's nothing he can think of (to take with him), he says "I think I--" it is VERY VISIBLE that he is desperate, that he's not sure about what just happened, even though he then resigns.
Then he learns about the Second Coming. He turns to see Crowley, still waiting for him. It's probably very painful for him, but he has taken his decision. He takes a deep breath, smiles and enters the Elevator. And looks very much unwell. But then there's the smile.
I think what happened in his head was : I'm heartbroken, it was the hardest decision I ever had to take, but at least, it was worth it.
You see, when he originally took his decision (before talking to Crowley) to be the next Supreme Archangel, he thought he would be with Crowley; he thought they'd work together to make Heaven Better (I'm not going into the details but I surely will in another post). Then Crowley rejected his offer, and everything he had planed vanished. But the Second Coming gives him a new purpose. After Crowley's rejection, there still is a meaning to his decision. He's going to work for, or I reckon (as we all do) AGAINST the Second Coming.
And that's what makes him smile.
So this is not a happy smile (which we of course all understand), it's a smile full of determination, but a desperate determination, the last-chance kind of determination.
(Yes I had to rewatch the scene to write that, YES I am unwell)

hsr 2.3 rant (disguised as yet another sunday rant) ...... i didn't expect to make one for each penacony update but here we go again
(634 words - my shortest one yet!)
so, on one hand... it could've ended worse. we've regained 70 (or 65?) % of penacony's freedom. huzzah!
still feeling highly iffy about the ipc's involvement but because it was expected i'll let it slide. for now.
the ending was definitely rushed, it definitely had a "we don't concretely know how we want to wrap up this story so we'll just wing it" feel to it, but again... alright. whatever. could've been more robust but i'll also let that slide. the hoyo devs were probably waiting for a throwaway update to focus on other things anyway.
but, content wise, i am absolutely terrified of the implication of Robin reaching out to Jade for help with her brother.
we were shown the whole Bonajade exchange shtick when playing as Firefly (also not Jade deadnaming her but ok). initially i took it as Mainly filler content, with an opportunity to show us a bit more about Firefly. cool, yeah, makes sense. but it did also focus on How the exchange worked, and specifically made mention of what people have/had to pay for their exchanges with Jade. now, again, i thought that was just filler content.
but now that i think back to it, Robin's whole demeanour during the quest (maybe i was just seeing things but she seemed significantly more down/tired than before (due to very obvious reasons. i wonder how she's still standing)), Jade meeting Robin before her second negotiations with Alfalfa, and then the Bonajade exchange getting explained to us randomly... that was most likely foreshadowing for the last scene of 2.3.
which brings me back to, again, feeling Unwell over what Robin could've possibly agreed to with Jade concerning the freedom/future of her brother. (also if he's gonna join the ipc - Wholeheartedly fuck him. my beef with them is stronger than my love/hate towards Sunday.)
i don't even Want to begin thinking about what Robin might've exchanged for Jade's sudden interest in Sunday. and it also all seems very unfair - the lengths Robin would go to for her brother when he on the other hand was fine with outright using her to accomplish his goals (again, without even filling her in on What those goals were. i don't care if it was for his concept of the greater good, i am still pissed at him for completely disregarding her opinions on the matter and the Entirety Of Her Free Will As A Person. unironically my blood pressure spiked when i saw him in that last scene, and it certainly wasn't because i was excited. even writing this down gets my blood boiling.).
point is. if Sunday chooses to forsake Robin's love for him again (not him also being surprised that Robin was the reason why Jade reached out to him - like she literally hugged you and fell from the sky with you after your plans failed. don't act surprised that she's not mad at you. (and if the reason why you're surprised is because you don't trust Jade's intentions with her, then SHOW IT DAMN IT. STAND UP FOR HER)) i am going to be Supremely disappointed in him.
and yes, i know he's a fictional character.
but holy shit. i've never seen such an infuriatingly (and, sadly, realistically) stubborn character before.
and, like in my last rant - the sentiment that 'i would personally strangle him if it wasn't for Robin being sad over his death' remains.
anyway. Robin really needs a break. a long break. and to somehow find a good and reliable support system because her brother is not very reliable on that front.
...if i were to express my opinion on the matter.

pile of assorted amberprice headcanons bc i am Supremely Unwell about them
they're never more than a few feet apart if they can help it. anytime they're in the same spot they're attached at the hip and practically all over each other. they are both completely oblivious as to how often & consistently this occurs
Rachel is always trying to get Chloe to sing more. she's really shy about her singing voice but Rachel keeps saying how much she loves it. usually they sing together when they're driving around in the truck but there's been one or two occasions where Chloe sings for her while playing guitar
they each think of the other as the softest thing in their life
Rachel is a hardcore binge drinker and it's unfortunately rare of her to not get blackout wasted at vortex parties. what little remaining survival instinct she has prompts her to call Chloe, who can immediately tell how fucked she is because she'll be drunkenly waxing poetic about missing her. nights like this usually end in Chloe anxiously staying up to look after/keep an eye on her while Rachel babbles about how much she likes Chloe and how pretty she is and how she's so nice to her. Rachel never remembers what she said in the morning. Chloe doesn't bring it up
they're the type to be able to have a whole conversation in facial expressions alone. Victoria in particular will be like ''what the hell are you two doing just talk like normal people" and then they'll double down and make a bunch of stupid faces at each other just to fuck with her
Rachel is a top tier sweater thief. in the colder months she'll purposefully wear less layers than she should because she knows Chloe is A) a natural space heater and B) always more than willing to lend her whatever hoodie/sweater/jacket she has. in the same vein, sometimes Rachel will "forget" gloves just so she has an extra excuse to hold Chloe's hand
they do that thing where one of them lights up a cigarette and the other holds their face and leans in real close and lights theirs off of it. they are frequently told to get a room because of it
Rachel's the only person who can get Chloe to chill out when she's in a bad mood. to the point that when Chloe's stalking around campus all grumpy and grumbling people around her will be like "jesus i hope she finds Rachel before she takes someone's head off"
Chloe has a habit of getting injured (both accidentally & otherwise) and Rachel has lowkey made herself into a walking first aid kit in response. she's particularly well stocked on pirate/dinosaur bandaids
#amberprice#chloe price#rachel amber#and. to angst just a little. chloe stops singing/playing after rachel goes missing :)#got a comment today saying there's not enough soft amberprice and they're Right. and i must remedy this bc i have so so many thoughts#also. been thinking about them + Die Young by Sylvan Esso#''had it all planed out before you met me; was gonna leave early / i had a plan; you ruined it completely'' :))))) aaaugghg;#nebular.txt

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s official! I’m writing a musical!
For those of you in the community who have known me for a while, this is nothing new, but I’ve been working on it for quite awhile, so I finally want to unveil what I have so far.
The show is officially called “Tyrant! The Story of Robespierre” or just “Tyrant!” for short, and here’s my first concept for the album cover below!
As for the actual story and songs, right now I’m planning on having 16 songs per act, and I’ll format the songs I’ve written or am currently in the process of writing!
Italic = work in progress
Bold = fully written
With that being said, this is the song catalogue and all I’ve gotten done so far!
Act 1:
Tyrant! (Show opener) - immediately after his death
Address for the King - early childhood
Never shall we part - transition from childhood to adulthood, meets Camille
Song addressed to Miss Henriette - young adulthood
And So I Reminisce - trio song for the siblings
He Just Can’t Stop - lawyer career in Arras
Let Us Speak/We Swear - Estates general + tennis court oath
Camille’s Address (Bring It Down) - Storming of the bastille
Hey Ladies! (Theroigne’s song + Women’s March on Versailles)
Bienvenue aux Jacobins - Joins the Jacobin club and meets Danton, gets elected president of the club
Never shall we part (1st reprise) - Camille’s marriage to Lucile
Escape (Louis + Marie flee Paris, Champ de Mars massacre)
There’s Safety Here (Robespierre meets Maurice Duplay, moves into the Duplay house)
This Means War! (Speeches against the war and Brissotins, war gets declared anyways)
The Tuileries Tango (Storming of the Tuileries and overthrow of the monarchy)
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité For All (Establishment of the republic, Robespierre at his height, his big “I want” song)
Act 2:
Incorruptible (Saint-Just’s debut and Robespierre’s election to the National convention)
So Ends the Reign of Tyranny (Louis’ trial and execution)
Bienvenue aux committee/ Bienvenue le Jacobins (reprise) (Appointment to the CPS)
Choose Your Side/And So I Reminisce (reprise) (Charlotte and Augustine’s fight, fracture in the family, duet with Élèonore, PLATONIC, NOT ROMANTIC)
Principio Ad Finem/ A late night’s walk (“darker” ‘I want’ song, NOT A VILLAIN SONG )
What is he doing? (Camille publishes his paper and says stupid stuff)
Never Shall We Part (2nd and 3rd reprises) (Max and SJ duet, Camille’s denouncement from friends to enemies)
A Meeting/Make Him a Monster (CPS meeting, Thermidorian villain song)
You’re Unwell (Eleonore and SJ duet, Max falls ill/ slowly loosing his sanity)
So Ends the Reign of Tyranny/ Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité for All (reprise) (Arrests and executions of Camille, Danton and their followers, closest thing to a villain song for Robespierre)
This Glorious Day (Festival of the Supreme Being, more Thermidorian conspiring)
Principio Ad Finem (reprise) (Max writes his 8 Thermidor speech)
My Final Bow (8 Thermidor speeches for the convention and the Jacobins)
We Swear/Let Me Speak! (9 Thermidor denouncement and arrest)
Requiem (Hotel De Ville siege, bullet to the jaw, death, 11th hour power ballad)
May You Ne’er Be Forgotten (basically charlotte’s ‘who lives who dies who tells your story’, her 11th hour power ballad, grand finale of the show)
I know that was a lot thrown at y’all, and obviously I’ve still got a long ways to go, but I’ll be working hard at it all summer, and I hope to have at least half of the first act finished by the end of this summer! I’ll keep working on asks too now that my schedule’s freed up, but I thought it’d be a fun announcement to share with all of you for Max’s birthday, and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of it! Love you all! ❤️❤️❤️

Sabo bites his lip till it starts bleeding and he's shaking so hard he can barely stand cuz he's ANGRY and he's DESPERATE to hold Marco (to be held) but he hadn't earned it, he has no right, what a disgusting man he is to think he can take comfort from Marco, he's clearly manipulating this kind man.
Which is why Ace needs to be there to knock some sense into him, because all Ace has to do is grab him by the back of his neck to keep him from looking away and point blank "I thought I told you years ago it doesn't matter" and Sabo remembers that day where he confesses he's a noble and Ace and Luffy still accepted him.
So he melts and wobbles over to Marco and just holds him SO tight and damn if Marco can't admit yeah, he does kinda feel safer when he's being hugged like that.
Ace eagerly joins in the hug fest cuz hmmmm yes these are HIS men, must comfort them both.
I AM SO SUPER UNWELL OVER YOUR INCREDIBLE THOUGHTS
I just love the idea of Ace grabbing Sabo in by the nape, knocking their foreheads together, invades his space like shut the fuck up dumbshit you absolute fool the voice you keep telling me to shutdown? Yeah gonna have to remind you yours isnt any different it doesnt matter it never did blood doesnt mean fucking shit
Marco doesnt recall being hugged like THIS, he’s surrounded by a loving family hes grateful, lucky overjoyed to be a part of it, to have the chance to, but Sabo hugs HIT DIFFERENT!!!
Sabo def hugs with with whole body, octopus grip, powerful fingers digging in and they might leave bruises that Marco will refuse to let the phoenix heal because theyre proof that someone like this loves him

Hello, I'm developing an enrichment guide for small animals in my shelter and your blog was very helpful with grimace scales, I was wondering if you had found any more for animals like reptiles, birds, and hedgehogs?
I'm afraid not, but I can go through the rescue folder to show some expressions of discomfort and unwellness.
We'll use Ankhou (May he rest in peace) as our baseline for a comfortable, healthy pigeon.
Like most birds, pigeon eyes are nearly frozen in their sockets.
They have neither whiskers, lips, nor external ears to grimace with.
So their expressions are mostly in the position of their heads, necks, and tails, and which groupings of feathers are raised or flattened.
This is an expression of supreme comfort.
Just a little squinty. Forehead and neck feathers fluffed up.
Everything else smooth and relaxed.
This was Passenger's arrival photo. (Some of you may have remembered her having been in the news.)
Note the curve of her neck, the low dip of her tail, sunken eyes and thin, drawn beak.
The half lidded eyes are an extreme expression of pained exhaustion.
Pigeons, even when hurt, are hypervigilant, and will be wide eyed more often than not.
She is extremely dehydrated and malnourished in this photo, barely able to stand.
Look at the difference, post recovery.
Especially at her stance (keenly alert), eyes (bright and clear), and beak (much more fleshed out).
In her case, the sunken eyes and thin beak in particular warned that she was extremely dehydrated.
Archie, on arrival, is scared and in pain, having suffered a broken wing from a vehicle strike.
Note the ruffled throat and tightly tucked head.
Same young bird, having healed.
Bridget, on arrival, had a broken wing and leg on the same side. (Also a vehicle strike.)
A little older than Archie, keenly interested in the food in front of her, and absolutely ravenous, but you still see the neck folded and head tucked.
This was when she first started putting weight on her healing foot.
She's terrified of me: note the huge pupils and ruffling of her shield feathers.
She's threatening to box me with her broken wing.
Note the almost angular ruffling of her neck feathers and how far between her shoulders her little head is tucked.
That defensive posture hurts.
Here she is, still terrified of me, but now fully healed.
Look how her head is positioned.
Yes, this is still Bridget.
She does have a neck! XD
In the loft, she's curious. Still scared of me, but I am more familiar than the flock of strange pigeons.
She's trying to figure out what perch to aim for.
Pete suffered a cat bite to the wrist of the wing facing the camera and an injury to his eyelid.
It's in a bad spot, right between the joints, and the inflammation response is so intensely painful that she can't flex her little wing.
Notice the tightly tucked head, ruffled throat, and over all hunched appearance.
Here, she is no longer in any pain; just scared.
Being in the pigeon hospital is terrifying for ferals.
It's bad enough being confined to a tiny cage, but vaccines, worming, weekly louse dips, and in this case daily antibiotics are an absolute hell of an introduction to living in human care!
Pete just has a very long skinny neck and tiny head with a fine featured face.
But, fully healed, despite the god awful molt, you can see the difference in her posture and even the wideness of her eyes.
Pierce was an extremely lucky hawk strike survivor.
It's a minor miracle that no vital organs were damaged!
But there is the extreme pain hunch in a bird whose injuries are fresh.
Note the set of the head between the shoulders, forward lean, and ruffling at the throat with feathers flattened very tightly otherwise.
This is the same bird, after all three talon holes healed.
Licorice was an interesting case!
Tied by zip tie and string to a steak in the ground for dog bait and suffering a teratoma in her breast muscle.
This is defensive posture.
She is not injured or in any pain, but she is scared, and looking for an opportunity to escape the carrier.
The teratoma (A bizarre tumor made of, in her case, random feather material in a keratin capsule) has no nerves, and her skin formed a neat little pocket around it.
Here she is after the teratoma was removed.
Not by any stretch thrilled to have me so close for pictures, but bright eyes and alert, confident I am not going to attack her.
Orion was a sad malnourished mess.
Note the lack of tail feathers, the baldness of his face, skinny toes, and shrunken beak.
Once again, head sunk down between his hunched shoulders, neck folded under it in a tight S curve that pushes the throat feathers out.
Very slight squint to eyes that would be wide with alarm were he not just exhausted from his state of starvation.
Poor little vulture child!
He's very excited for food in this photo, but since you can see his skin so well, look how much less pinched it is around the base of his beak now that he is no longer suffering severe dehydration.
Coal had the very good fortune to come in healthy and old enough to self feed.
He was just separated from his flock weeks before he'd have been able to fly.
He isn't in pain or ill.
Being dipped and wormed sucked!
So coal is NOT happy to see me a week after that last photo!
But note that his shoulders are not hunched.
While his neck is folded and his head is low, it isn't sunk down in between his shoulders.
The nape of his neck is fluffed up.
This is defensive threat posture.
He's scared, but warning me that he'll box and bite me if I get any closer.
Coal has been here a few weeks at this point.
He's not happy to see me. Dips and meds still suck.
But they don't hurt, and I get them done with pretty quick.
So he's nervous on this photo.
He's not looking forward to what ever I am about to have to do, but it's sunk in that he's not going to die or be injured.
Bug free and ready for adoption, Coal was not happy about having his pigeon business interrupted for a photo, but he's only mildly annoyed, not nervous or overtly afraid.
Now, let's look at the second most commonly rescued breed: Racing homers.
This is Grayson: Who was found crashed out hungry in 2016.
This bird failed a race.
Because they were bred to be wartime messengers, and their messages were of absolutely vital importance, the impulse to stop mid return flight to forage has been bred out of Racing Homers.
When released away from their loft, they only stop when they get home, or if it's gotten too dark to fly.
Once the food in their crop runs out (usually something extremely fatty like peanuts, for the highest possible density of fuel), their body starts digesting their muscle.
The flight muscles of a pigeon are roughly 1/4 of their overall weight.
Once they lose enough of that, they can't get off the ground anymore.
It takes about three days of non stop flight for this to happen, and a good two to four solid weeks of rebuilding condition before they can physically fly again.
Note Greyson's hunch and drooping tail, but the keen alertness in his eyes compared to the ferals.
He is not injured or sick.
He is suffering exclusively from the rapid muscle atrophy unique to racing homers who have failed a race or training toss.
This is the same bird, post recovery.
Just doesn't like being asked to pose.
Meat much more evenly surrounds his keel, and his wings no longer look to be too big for him.
Look at the way his cere has filled out compared to the previous photo.
Mark most likely got lost on a training flight.
You can tell by his poorly developed cere that this is a very young bird; not quite sexually mature.
Note the weird, flat angle of the chest and downward tilt of the head.
He trapped into a chicken coop in desperation to escape a bad storm, and unfortunately picked up worms from the chickens, and giardia likely from dirty puddle water.
This photo was taken just a little before he became severely symptomatic, while he was still able to hide being sick.
He almost died from the giardia.
He was so exhausted and dehydrated from constant diarrhea by which his body tried to expel the protozoan parasite that he didn't have energy to eat and had to be force fed several small meals a day for a few weeks until he had the strength to feed himself.
Here he is the last week of quarantine, anxious about being handled for his update photo, but no longer sick.
And here he is fully recovered and showing off his very full crop, but having the worst molt!
I hope this meander through a small percentage of my rescue folder has been enough to help you see the pattern.
It's more in the overall posture than the facial expression, as pigeons largely lack the facial muscles and features that give mammals such expressive faces.
Look for a head sunken between hunched shoulders and a drooping tail.
The more hunchy the bird, the tighter tucked head, and the further the tail droops, the more severe the discomfort.
A dramatically bobbing tail signifies a struggle breathing, the causes of which can range from anxiety to pain to physical obstruction of the air ways.
Partly lidded, sunken eyes and a shrunken beak along with a slight wobble or tremor should signify an emergency; severe dehydration.
The extremely drab, brown tinged feathers that Orion displays are a symptom of nestling malnutrition.
Most likely, his mother was malnourished when she laid the egg, and his parents could not find enough food to support the rapid growth of a baby pigeon.
Ankhou came in years later from the same area; the parking lot of a strip mall where feral pigeons are trapped and eradicated.
He's four or five weeks old in this photo, by the length of his flights, which were the only feathers he had, because his body did not get enough to grow both bones and feathers.
It took him six months to feather out fully.
And almost a year to molt into his full adult plumage.
Well, that went a little off topic. >.<
But I hope it helped.

THE SPECIAL WAS SO GOOD WHAT THE HELL?!?!!??!
WHO WROTE THIS!??!?!?
shadybug and clawnoir work SO WELL in this, they are so well developed i am going insane
AND THE ONE ON ONE THEY HAD WITH THE "OG'S" TOO i almost cried
shadybug reading marinettes diary was the best scene decision they ever made
i am SO happy they foucused on the characters personal journey and not the whole marvel plot cause that went so well
but the other universe lore is soooo interesting too!!! i kind of feel that lila is the supreme so that's a little boring but the rest is so good
I LOVE SHADYBUG SO MUCH
I ALREADY LOVED HER NOW I DO EVEN MORE
AND ADRIEN GOT HIS SPOTLIGHT TOO I AM SO HAPPY
alya and marinette's friendship got so much space for us to know them more it was so beautiful i am unwell
i'm not really interested in the whole "marvel million universes everything is crazy asf" path they are going but since we're already in it i hope it's as good as this one and that we get to see more of this universe in future specials
#ml#ml spoilers#ml special#ml paris special#ml paris spoilers#shadybug#clawnoir#adrien agreste#marinette dupain cheng#sorry for the granmar mistakes since this got so much attention#english is not my first language and i was too exited kdhsjdkshd

Ahhh I just stayed up way too late for someone with a job and responsibilities like laundry and groceries to be doing this, but war game/war crimes had me in a chokehold. I really appreciate all the threads you’ve been weaving an the creative ways they’re mixing together to create new dynamics and twists . I also love the how the humorous beats balance out the very mature take on war. As someone who works with torture survivors, I appreciate how your depictions felt (tragically) realistic and respectful to gravity of the human right violations. I also appreciate howuch time you’ve given sokka and zuko to be unwell in unpleasant ways, not just convenient for falling in love ways. Just fantastic scenes of healing and being upset. Also I do love all the different facets of Zuko we see based on all the different lens people see him in, all of them working incomplete information. I for one am curious to see how zuko will be seen by the team Azula, those who perhaps have had the most years build up an idea of who he is and how that’ll accentuate what has and hasn’t changed. I could keep going forever about all that I’m curious about but for the sake of your inbox, I’ll simply stew on it and trust that the next chapter will pose even more questions for me and take the story to another supremely well written twist( loooove how many actors are duplicitous and fueled by more than one motivation) (( also love that so far I think almost every POV has had their “I will kill Zhao” moment because whew consequences and also what a fun way to show ripples of his actions))
Thank you for this lovely ask! Sorry its taken some time to reply, I've had some stuff going on 😬
Its always good to hear when people find my depiction of trauma and torture realistic and impactful (that feels like a weird thing to say!) so thank you very much for letting me know!
I love outsider POV because you get to see canon characters through someone who is not in the know. Its very entertaining to write! And Zuko (esp in this situation) is such a fun character to do that with, as there are many layers and deceptions going on. I think Team Azula's interactions with him, if and when they happen will be really enjoyable to write 😂
Thank you again for this lovely ask, I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on things! ❤️
