Also worked on my driving anxiety by doing some practice parking. I can parallel park, which is supposed to be harder, but perpendicular parking is still difficult. So I went to a local beauty salon's lot near my house and after doing some research, started trying to park. I managed to figure out parking on the driver's side and almost how to reverse into a passenger side space, but the theory is still going over my head a bit. I actually did line up properly a few times, but I'm not sure how... 😅

“Hiding behind a disguise, can you feel me watching you?”
Awoken by the bright rays of sunshine that flooded your room, you remembered how tired you were that you forgot to shut the blinds and draw in the curtains before falling asleep last night. With the masquerade ball, in celebration of your parent’s 25th wedding anniversary, coming up in just about a week, preparations were brutal.
This was the first masquerade ball that you would actually participate in. You’d attended many when you were younger, playing around with the other kids there that were your age but you were never expected to dance or had any role in them. Now that this ball was in celebration of your parents, your family, you were expected to be a great host. Not to mention that this was big for you, as wedding season was coming up. You had talked to your parents for a while about not wanting to be married so early so they never forced you, but being at that age, you knew that many families were looking to marry their sons.
Your father, Lord L/N, had accomplished so much in the short time that he was one, giving your family a huge name in the town. You were sought after by many families. This ball would be your formal introduction to the town as an adult and would garner many suitors for you. You shrugged off the thought for now and went to brush your teeth and bathe, getting yourself ready for the day.
You go downstairs and see a familiar figure sitting in the dining room, eating the breakfast that was prepared by the lovely maids that ran your parents’ manor. You take a seat across from him, grabbing a plate of freshly cut fruits.
“You woke up late, you know,” he says, chuckling.
You shoot him a mocking smile, taking a bite of an apple slice.
“We had a busy day yesterday. The tailor used the wrong measurements for my dress and now I have to wait 3 days before I can go back to pick it up. I’m stressed out about learning the dances since there’s only a week left before the ball and we’ve barely even started. My dance partner isn’t that good and I’m worried I won’t be good enough. Forgive me if I took an extra hour to sleep in,” you poured out to him.
Your brother, Dongmin, was older than you by just a year. He stood up from his chair and patted your head.
“It's gonna be okay Y/N. I’m taking you to practice later today at the Park residence. Their son, Sungho, is going to be your dance partner. I know he was interested in you so I arranged for his instructor to help you practice with him.”
“Thank you Dongmin. I’m sorry I’m so stressed. I appreciate you setting this up for me! I owe you one,” you smile up at him, getting up to ready for the practice.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’re taken to the Park residence, accompanied by Dongmin. Because he is your older brother, he sees you to all of your affairs since your father is always busy. And because he is your father’s son, he has to learn the roles of a lord should something happen to your father. Dongmin did, at one point, find someone who he had loved and wished to marry, but things fell through and he set aside his own feelings about marriage until he’s older, wanting to learn everything there is to know about lordship first.
Waiting for your arrival, the Duke and Duchess of the Park house wait outside. You greet them with a deep bow and courtesy of your dress. To their right, you spot their son, Sungho. You had seen him at previous balls throughout the years, but you guys had never formally met. ‘He’s really handsome,’ you thought to yourself, before turning to greet him as well.
“We meet again, Duke and Duchess. Thank you for having us,” Dongmin greets with a smile and a bow.
“What a pleasure it is to meet you, Duke and Duchess. It is an honor to be allowed here. Thank you for letting me practice here with your son,” you say.
They exchange smiles with each other before looking back at you and Dongmin. They formally allow you into their home and show you around.
A couple minutes into the tour Sungho says, “I can show them around and then take Lord Dongmin and Lady Y/N to the practice hall.” He smiles at the both of you before leading the tour himself.
He continues to show you guys around, occasionally talking about the history of the house and some specific details about the wallpaper and architectural workings of the house. You can’t help but be mesmerized at everything he is talking about. Finally, he takes you to the room that you’ll be practicing in. There seems to be a couple more people in the room making you sigh in relief that you weren’t the only one that needed practice.
“I have other matters to attend to. I will be taking my leave. Thank you again for letting Y/N practice here. I shall come to get her in a couple of hours,” Dongmin bows at Sungho before leaving, informing the Duke and Duchess of the arrangement.
You smile at your brother before he leaves, assuring him that you’ll be alright.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You step into the practice room and a seat. As you’re changing your shoes, you catch one of the servants in the room looking at you. He’s tall and lean, his almost shoulder length brown hair catching your eyes. He’s very handsome and he shoots you a small smile as he looks away. Your cheeks dust a faint pink before looking away from him, unsure of the feeling you just felt in your stomach.
The practice goes on and you’re constantly stepping on Sungho’s shoes. He lets out small chuckles whenever you do, never getting frustrated at you, which you appreciated. From the short time you’ve been practicing with him you could tell he was very sweet and gentle. He was able to guide you and keep you on track fairly well considering your efforts.
You’re given a short break from the practice in which you figure that you need to use the bathroom. You were okay to find it by yourself, but since this wasn’t your house, you look to enlist the help of Sungho. When you turn to look for him you realize he’s not in the room. You meet the eye of the same servant from earlier and he could sense that you needed some help. He makes his way over to you and bows,
“How can I be of assistance Lady Y/N?”
Your breath caught in your throat. He was, quite literally, breathtaking. And his voice was so deep and soothing. You almost forget that you needed help finding the bathroom. You bow back at him.
“Where is the restroom?”
Your voice comes out small at first, almost as if you’re too shy to talk to him. He stands in front of you while he directs you to the closest restroom that just so happened to be down the hall.
“I shall wait for you out here until you finish. Then I can take you back to the practice room. Please let me know if there is anything you may need.”
You enter the bathroom and try to calm yourself down. What was this feeling? Why was him talking to you making you feel this way? You wash your hands, touching up your makeup before stepping back to look at yourself in the mirror. After fixing your hair as well, you go back outside where you find the servant waiting for you.
“Thank you so much… uhm… What is your name sir?”
You ask, realizing that you never got his name. He’s about to speak when Sungho spots you from down the hall.
“Lady Y/N! So this is where you have been? I am sorry I left for a minute, I had to take care of something. Is everything alright?”
He looks at both of you and smiles.
“Yes, everything is alright. I was just taking Lady Y/N to the restroom. I insisted I wait for her so she does not get lost on the way back,” the tall man says while bowing at Sungho. “I apologize for not informing you beforehand.”
“Do not apologize, I wasn’t around for you to tell me. I’m glad that you took her and that she is okay. Shall we all head back to the practice room?”
And with that, you all head back, making small conversation on the way there. You walk behind Sungho and walk in line with the servant. His hand slightly brushes yours, to which you both apologize. He takes to walking behind you, forming a line. He doesn’t miss the slight blush adorning your cheeks after your hands brushed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the practice is over, you sit down on one of the sofas by the window. You sigh out a breath of relief and relax a bit, tired after the hours of dancing.
“For your first time practicing, you did a good job,” Sungho says, offering you water. You thank him and drink the water a little bit faster than what would be considered lady-like. “Thank you so much. For the water and the practice, thank you for everything.” You’re about to put the cup of water down on the floor when the servant from earlier walks up to you.
“Allow me,” he says, grabbing your cup and taking it away from you. Sungho doesn’t miss the way you look at him, staring for a bit too long for it to be normal. “Thank you,” you say to him now, not being able to look him in the eyes. He walks away without another word, bowing to you before he does.
As you get ready to leave, you receive word from Sungho that Dongmin can no longer come pick you up. You look at him, not knowing what to do now as you had no way back home.
“I can take her back. If you so let me, sir,” the servant chimes up. Having walked back with you and Sungho you realized that the tall male was Sungho’s personal servant.
“Could you please? I would do it myself but I have a lot of work to catch up on tonight.” He turns to face you, “Lady Y/N,” he reaches for your hand and plants the gentlest kiss on the back of it.
“I shall see you tomorrow for another practice session. Have a wonderful night m’lady,” he bows to you and you bow back. “Thank you again, I shall see you tomorrow.”
“Are you ready to go, lady Y/N?”
“Yes.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After saying your goodbyes to the Duke and Duchess as well as everyone else in the home, you go outside to meet him.
“Forgive me for the carriage we have right now is a bit small.” He says apologetically. The carriage, while smaller than other ones, was beautifully crafted. One of the finest carriages you have ever seen. Its black body and gold fixtures, perfect for a sleek entry and getaway and the windows big enough to comfortably peer out of on long rides.
“It is quite magnificent. Not too small at all, just perfect,” you say softly looking at the carriage in awe. He gives you his hand to help you into the carriage before closing the door and securing the lock. He hops into the front and gets the horses ready to move.
“The ride back will take about 45 minutes,” he informs you. As the horses start to move you look out the window, thinking back on the things you have yet to do. With only 6 days left you realize that there’s still so much you have to learn when it comes to the dance. As well as learning the names of all your guests and picking up your dress and mask from the tailor’s…
“I’m sorry m’lady?”
A deep voice pulls you out of your thoughts.
“I’m sorry! I seem to have gotten distracted by my thoughts. You were saying…?”
“Oh, no worries at all. I was only asking how you were feeling about all this? I heard it is the first masquerade ball that you’ll be attending as a hostess.”
“Well, if I'm being honest, I am quite nervous. Like you said, I am a hostess. There seems to be so many little things I must take care of throughout the night. Not to mention that I still am learning how to dance. I am very grateful for the Duke and Duchess letting me practice in their home, along with their son.” You feel a small weight lift off your shoulders, this being the first time you talked about your apprehensions towards the coming event with someone other than your brother.
“I was watching the practice, you seem to be learning fairly well. On par with the others also learning the dances. And Sungho is a good dancer, never nervous and he never falters. I heard he took interest in you, he has great taste.”
The last comment causing a small smile to form on your lips.
“He is very well-mannered and a fine man indeed. When I heard he took interest in me I was surprised. We had barely spoken in the past so him reaching out to my older brother was a shock. He is very handsome and indeed a gentleman.”
You couldn’t see it, but a slight frown had made it up to his face. He couldn’t figure out what caused him to have that reaction. He was happy for Sungho that he had found a potential wife, wasn’t he? He should be happy that someone was speaking about his lord in such a way.
The way you spoke about him could convince anyone that you have an attraction for him. But as much as he seemed so perfect, he hadn’t managed to make you feel anything other than a friendship towards him. It has only been a day but, if he was really interested in you, so much as to go as far as relaying his interest for you to your parents and older brother, surely he would have made his intentions more clear.
“Sungho is a fine gentleman, he would be lucky to have a lady like you, as you would be to have a lord like him.”
The rest of the carriage ride is spent exchanging small talk and a couple of laughs heard here and there. Once you arrive at your house, he steps out of the carriage and walks to your side and offers his hand to you. You take it, slowly stepping down, out of the carriage.
“Thank you so much for taking me back home… I still never got your name sir,” you say, remembering that last time you asked, Sungho had cut you off.
“Please, call me Donghyun. It was my pleasure bringing you home, Lady Y/N. Enjoy the rest of your night. I have been informed that I will come to get you in the morning.” He bows to you and bids you farewell, as you watch him ride off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“It's magic that I’m lost in your spell, but you don’t even have a clue…”
The next few days follow the same routine. Donghyun picks you up and drops you off for the next couple of days when you need to practice. The conversations you guys shared were always light-hearted and casual, as you told him to drop honorifics since you found out you were the same age. There was a sense of familiarity you got when speaking to Donghyun, like he was the person that could listen to you talk forever and never get tired of hearing your stories.
There were sometimes conversations that got a little too deep, much more than you would discuss with a mere acquaintance or in this case, the servant of your maybe-future-husband. You had never really spent time with Sungho outside of dance practice. Sometimes he’d take you to the courtyard of his house during breaks and on days where you had more time before practices. But things felt more intimate with Donghyun and you felt that you could let your guard down more when talking to him.
You always knew he was staring at you specifically during the practices. Always coming up to you first before asking any of the other guests if they needed anything. At first, you thought it was because he was Sungho’s servant and by extension, yours as well. But you didn’t see him that way. You always treated him with as much grace as you would a lord, unlike how you’ve seen others treat servants.
What neither of you knew though, was that Sungho had picked up on the subtle glances you’d shoot towards Donghyun, or the obvious stares he would give you. The way he would come up to you first, not even him. Or the way that you’d shyly tell him if you needed anything, always trying to hide a small smile on your face whenever he’d walk away. As much as he wanted to ask you to go out with him and get to know each other more, he believed it would be best for him to just help you with dance for now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today, you go to tailors with your mother and Dongmin. You hope that this will be the last time you have to go there for a while, praying that the dress and mask fit perfectly.
“How does this look? There was a lot of extra fabric I had to take in but I managed to size it without messing up the design,” the seamstress explained, looking at you for your approval.
You look in the mirror, marveled by the stunning shape and flow of the long, dark green dress. The beautiful off-the-shoulder dress enhancing your collarbones and complimenting your figure perfectly. The lace trimmings were exactly how you pictured in your head.
“It’s absolutely marvelous!” You exclaim. “This is just what I had in mind— even better in fact!” One thing about you, when you think something is perfect or well done, you become extra bubbly, contrary to your, usually, very calm demeanor.
Your mother and Dongmin both look at you in excitement, glad that you love the dress and that you had one less stressor to worry about.
“You look absolutely stunning darling. I’m sure Sungho will think so too,” your mother says, Dongmin agreeing with her. You couldn’t help but to think of what Donghyun would think of your dress if he ever saw it.
“My little sister, all grown up,” he exaggerates, “you look really beautiful. I’m happy you love your dress,” he says with the utmost sincerity. You’re beaming ear to ear, happy that everyone loves your dress.
“We’re gonna go pay for it upfront while you change back into your clothes. We’ll be waiting for you outside the carriage,” your mother says before walking away with your brother.
“You look magnificent. Like a princess.”
Your breath caught in your throat, making you speechless for a moment. You recognize the voice, turning around with a shy smile on your face.
“Donghyun! It’s lovely seeing you today! What brings you here?”
Today was a break from practicing. The tailors you went to were two towns away, making for a 6 hour carriage ride to and back. You didn’t expect to see Donghyun here, as normally he mentions to you on the carriage rides to the Park’s residence what duties he has for that day and the days following. He never once mentioned going to the tailors, especially not the one you went to considering there were a few in your town.
“I had to pick up some last minute items for Sungho. He’s been busy sorting his family affairs so he sent me here in his place,” he explained.
The truth is, Sungho knew you’d be here today. He didn’t really have anything that he needed but he knew that the chances of something happening between the two of you were slim. He picked up on yours and Donghyun’s mutual attraction towards each other, choosing to stay out of it and hopes that you two would kindle something of your own.
“Of course, he must have a lot to attend to as the Marquess. I’m sure he would’ve come here on his own if he could,” you begin, “but thank you, for the compliment,” you look down at your dress, glad that he also took a liking to it.
“Will you be attending the ball?” You asked, hopeful of his answer.
“I unfortunately will not be in attendance. The whole family will be at your masquerade ball and therefore I must look after the house along with the others.” He sees you visibly sigh, smiling to himself at the thought of you missing him at the ball.
“That is very unfortunate, I was hoping to see you there.” You don't know what got you to be so forward with him, but you saw the slight smirk tug on his face as you said it. Realizing the implications of what you just said, you look away in embarrassment, but part of you hoping that he would miss not being there too.
The silence between you two is a little awkward now, not knowing what to say to each other. Donghyun clears his throat, remembering that he had something to tell you.
“I was going to tell you this tomorrow on the carriage ride over but Sungho will not be here for tomorrow’s practice.”
“Oh, who will my dance partner be then?”
“Me.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The whole way home, you’re thinking you can’t wait for tomorrow to come. While Sungho is a really good dance partner, you were excited to be able to dance with Donghyun. The thought of being in such close proximity to him had you grinning like a fool.
“Who are you thinking about that has you so giddy?”
Dongmin’s question breaks you out of your thoughts, heat rushing to your cheeks as you’ve been caught thinking about Donghyun. You hesitate for a moment before starting to speak, only to be cut off by him.
“I bet it’s Sungho, right? You’ve been without him for one day and you’re already missing him. Mayhaps you are in love?”
You pause what you’re about to say, thinking about his words carefully. Is this what that is? Are you in love with Donghyun? You bite the bullet, asking Dongmin a serious question.
“If I miss him and can’t stop thinking about him, does that mean I am in love? If I want to be closer to him when we are together, does that mean I’m in love? If the little things and small interactions make my cheeks flush red, does that mean I’m in love?”
You’re rethinking all the interactions you’ve had with Donghyun so far. The little glances and stares you take at one another. The brushes of your hands when walking with each other. The wanting to hold his hand longer when he helps you in and out of the carriage.
“I’ve felt that before. I would say yes, that would mean that you are in love.”
Dongmin had a lady who he was going to marry about a year ago. You can tell he had loved her dearly. When it was found that father had fallen ill, her family had moved back to where they were originally from. While the relationship was short-lived, only lasting about a month, you could tell that he had been in love just by the way he looked at her.
“So this is what being in love feels like…” you trailed off.
Of course, he didn’t know that it wasn’t Sungho that you were talking about. You had thought about telling him, knowing that he would understand and support you no matter who you loved. But you believed that now wasn’t the best time, not knowing yourself what your actual feelings were.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Upon arriving home, you’re given some news by your father.
“You will be staying overnight at the Park residence tomorrow. I have already spoken to them, and they have so graciously agreed to keep you for the night. You still need practice but there will not be anyone here tomorrow as they will be thoroughly cleaning the manor for the ball in 3 days.  Please go pack your stuff before they get here.”
You eagerly pack your overnight items. Making sure you have everything properly packed you sit in your room until it is time to go. You hear a soft knock on your door.
“Come in!” You shout, knowing it’s Dongmin on the other side.
“Are you all packed up and ready to go?”
“Yes, I just double-checked and made sure I had all of the stuff I will be needing. What brings you in here?”
While Dongmin was a great brother, he wasn’t exactly known to you for being the one to make sure you were all packed and ready for your own affairs.
“It is Sungho that you were talking about in the carriage, right?” He bites his lower lip, looking up at you, waiting for your response.
Your eyes meet his as you look at him in genuine shock. You didn’t know if it was because you were surprised that he would ask you such a thing, or if it was because you were shocked that he knew that it wasn’t Sungho that you were talking about earlier.
“Of course I was talking about Sungho. Who else could I be referring to?”
You ask with as much confidence as you can muster up in the moment. You hoped he wouldn’t press the situation further, but you knew your brother.
“If it really were Sungho, you would be talking about it more often, not just thinking about him silently in carriage rides.” He raises a good point.
“On top of that, if he was as eager to be with you as much as you think about him, he would be the one coming to get you personally.” You hated when he could see right through you.
“You can tell me honestly, who you were talking about. You know I’m on your side no matter what.”
You would be lying if you said that the idea of you telling your parents the truth hadn’t crossed your mind. But you were worried about what it would do to your family. How it would look if the first daughter of the Lord was to marry the servant of the son of the Duke?  You didn’t care as long as you were happy with him, but you know it would be a big deal to your parents and big deal to the Duke and Duchess as well.
You didn’t  realize how overwhelming the situation actually is until you felt a couple tears rolling down your face. Dongmin’s gaze on you softens when he realizes that he was right. Pulling you in for a hug he reassures you that it will be alright, but you need to talk to him so he could talk to your parents for you.
“His name is Donghyun. He is the personal servant to Sungho. He is the one who brings me there and back everyday. I don’t know how it happened but it just did.” You start from the beginning.
“He was always at the dance practices but he caught my eye the minute I saw him. He was really handsome and super sweet. I was thinking about him in the carriage today because I saw him at the tailors while you and mother were paying the expenses of my dress and mask. He said I looked magnificent, like a princess.”
You wiped the tears from your face slowly, recalling the precious moment, laughing a bit as you realized that holding in that information weighed heavy on your mind. Relieved, you look up at Dongmin who is smiling from ear to ear.
“My baby sister is in love.” Is all he says before pulling you in for another hug.
“I’ve spoken with him a few times while we waited for you to finish getting ready. He seems like a fine gentleman. And he makes you happy, which is what’s truly important.” He laughs before helping you bring your stuff down.
You look up at him and smile, feeling pure bliss as you were able to come clean about it all, and from being able to have Dongmin’s full support. While your parents’ opinions were important, Dongmin’s opinion mattered more. He was the closest person to you, your best friend.
“I am excited to be there for the night. And tomorrow, Donghyun is going to be my dance partner.”
He looks at you with a mischievous grin, almost scary.
“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” Expecting you to slap his arm, he preemptively runs away, escaping your wrath at his rather crass comment. You can only giggle a bit before following him downstairs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With all your stuff loaded into the same carriage as the first night, you bid your farewells to your parents and brother. You enter the carriage with Donghyun’s help, eagerly awaiting your arrival to the Park’s residence. You feel the cool air blow past your face as the slightly chilly autumn weather provides a beautiful scene for you to look at.
“It is quite breezy outside Lady Y/N. Are you sure you want to keep the window open? Wouldn’t want you to catch a cold now,” Donghyun remarks, concerned about your well-being.
“Actually it feels quite nice. Being in these clothes all day can get a little warm. Plus, it’s nice to get the fresh air in here.” You appreciate his concern.
A couple minutes of silence go by as you think about earlier in the day when he said you looked like a princess in your dress. You can feel a blush coming on remembering the look on his face when he saw you.
Donghyun was surprised when Sungho said he had forgotten that he needed some things in preparation for the ball. Sungho was usually on top of his belongings. He always knew what he needed to do, when to do it and what he would be needing for any events. Of course, Donghyun would never question him in that way, and instead just did as he was told. He was completely unaware that you would be there. He knew that you were going to pick up your dress that day but he didn’t know where you would be. When he entered the tailors he immediately went to someone, asking for Sungho’s things. There weren’t many other people in the shop at the time, since it was pretty early in the day. He had just finished paying for everything when he heard your familiar voice. He looked around for you until he spotted you, a couple feet away from the changing room. Without thinking he went up to you,
“You look magnificent. Like a princess.”
The words playing over and over again in your head.
He didn’t know where he had gotten the courage to say that to you, but your reaction was priceless. He knew when he had first seen you at the practice room that he had an attraction to you, but seeing you in your dress, a shocked yet shy expression on your face, he knew that he had fallen for you. His face held a soft expression, reflecting pure awe and fondness at the sight of you in front of him. He felt a little swell of confidence when you looked away all bashful.
Replaying the whole incident in your head over and over you failed to realize, again, that Donghyun was asking you a question.
“Are you lost in your thoughts again, m’lady?”
“I thought I told you to drop the formalities? We're the same age and you are not my servant. I shall provide you the same grace and respect as if you were my own colleague.” You chuckle, finding it cute that he was still being formal with you.
“I appreciate the offer but you are still a lady. The daughter of the lord, might I add. It would be dishonorable of me to refer to you as anything other than a lady.”
It was his respectful manner that drew you into him more. You found it very attractive that he stuck to his morals, deciding to drop the conversation of formalities.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shortly after the conversation, you arrived at the Park residence. Donghyun had helped you out of the carriage and grabbed your belongings for you.
“Allow me to show you to your room, Lady Y/N.”
You follow behind him quietly, greeting the Duke and Duchess and everyone else along the way. He set your belongings down onto the ottoman in the room you were given.
The room was painted a soft, baby blue. Beautiful crown moldings adorned the lining of the ceiling and floor. There were two big windows beside a big bay window. Across from the canopy bed in the middle of the room was a vanity complete with a big mirror and all the makeup products you would ever need. Next to the bed was a door that led to your own personal bathroom, fully stocked with everything you would need in there.
“I want to apologize sincerely on behalf of the Duke and Duchess and Lord Sungho. We have assigned a lady’s maid to you but she will not be here until the morning. Again, my deepest apologies,” Donghyun says, bowing to you for longer than normal.
“Because Lord Sungho is not here tonight, I shall see to it that I handle your requests personally. Please let me know if you need anything.”
He stood close to the doorway, awaiting your response.
“That is completely alright. I understand that because the Duchess is the only lady of the house, it makes sense that there are not many ladies around. I appreciate you and your efforts.”
You bow back to him, smiling as you look around the room again. You touch the bed frame, the baby blue curtains of the canopy matching the walls of the room perfectly. You sit on the bed, sinking into the soft mattress. You look at Donghyun,
“This room is so perfect. Who should I thank for setting it up so perfectly?”
A small blush creeps onto his face as he looks away.
“I was the one who prepared the room for you. I asked them if I could be the one to do it…”
You look at him in awe, the familiar feeling of your heart racing once again at the thought of Donghyun doing this specifically for you. You walk up to him and smile. You grab his hand and look into his eyes.
“Thank you so much for setting this up for me, Donghyun.”
He felt like he never wanted you to let go of his hands. The tips of his ears becoming red at your close proximity, feeling like his heart was going to beat out of his chest. He had never been drawn to someone in his life, especially not like this. There was something about you that made him want more. Fighting the urge to hold your face in his hands, he looks away from you.
“There is no need to thank me. I am glad you like the room. I will leave you to do your nightly routine as it is getting quite late. I shall see you in the morning.”
Normally, servants weren’t supposed to kiss the hands of the people that they serve, but he couldn’t resist this time. He turned over your hands, placing gentle kisses onto both of them.
“Have a goodnight, m’lady.”
Your eyes plead with him, not wanting him to leave, but you know he has to. As he leaves the room, you feel a wave of sadness hit you, already missing his presence. Feeling rather hot from the intimate interaction, you head to the restroom and draw yourself a bath, getting ready for bed as you knew you had a whole day of practicing ahead of you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You woke up the next morning to a knock on your door. Opening it up, you realize it was the lady’s maid that was assigned to you. You both exchange greetings and bows before she helps you get ready for the day. Drawing your bath for you and setting aside the makeup that she will be doing on you for the day. She even had a dress pressed, steamed, and ready for you to wear for practice today.
Because the ball was only 2 days away, you had to wear dresses that were of similar style to the one that you had picked out in order to better dance in your actual dress. The first couple days were practiced in more casual, everyday dresses to help you learn the steps first.
You go down to the practice room eagerly. You already know your way around the manor by now but your maid accompanied you anyways. You step in and immediately take notice of Donghyun standing where Sungho normally does. You’re more excited seeing his face and rush to stand across from him.
“Good morning Lady Y/N.”
“Good morning Donghyun.”
Normally, you would feel anxious and nervous before starting. At this point, you barely stepped on Sungho’s shoes when you practiced with him but you still had trouble following the beat and got the timing of the moves wrong every now and again. As you get into position to start the dance, you notice that you’re not nervous. It was as if Donghyun’s presence instantly had a calming effect on you. You place one hand on his shoulder and he places a hand on your waist, your other hands interlocked as that is how the dance starts.
During your other practice sessions, Donghyun would solely focus his attention onto you. This meant that he knew at what points during the songs you falter. He knew the very beats that caused you to step on Sungho’s shoes every time. He used his knowledge to help you not mess up. He would match your pace before correcting it and therefore made you feel more at ease. Not once did you step on Donghyun’s shoes.
As the end of the practice session drew near, you felt sad knowing that you wouldn’t be dancing with Donghyun at the ball. You felt bad for Sungho, knowing that he was assigned to be your dance partner, and that you would likely spend most of the night dancing with only him, only for you to not want him. Part of you wished you liked Sungho as much as you liked Donghyun, but you knew you couldn’t control your feelings.
“You did amazing today m’lady. You have come very far.”
“It is all thanks to you. Not once did I step on your shoes like I normally do to Lord Sungho. I feel a lot better about the ball, but I am still apprehensive.”
“I could understand feeling that way. But I am sure you will be great that night. This is the last practice we are having. I am glad that I could help you perfect your dance.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“It’s tragic ‘cuz after tonight, my heart will never be the same…”
You freshen up after dance practice. It’s now around 4 in the evening and you leave the room to find Sungho waiting for you. He greets you with a bow and kisses the back of your hand.
“My apologies for not being able to practice with you today, Lady Y/N. I heard from Donghyun that you did well today.”
He says, smiling at you, catching the light blush that appears on your face at the mention of Donghyun’s name and his compliment towards you.
“It is alright, I understand you have other matters you must attend to. I think the practice went alright. I’m a bit nervous since the ball is 2 days away but I’m sure when the time comes we will be great.”
You smile back at him.
“You’ve been practicing all morning and afternoon. I can imagine that you are hungry. I came here to tell you that dinner will be ready in about an hour. For now, would you like to accompany me to the park nearby? It's quite lovely outside today.”
“I would love to.”
And with that, you both walked out to the park, you holding onto his arm. What you didn’t notice was Donghyun had watched you leave with Sungho.
He knew that there wasn’t a way for you two to be together, but why was he so jealous that you were with Sungho? He knew that Sungho had taken interest in you and he knew that it would make sense for you to want to be with him. Part of him felt like you were going to pursue your relationship with Sungho because you had no reason not to. He could only assume that your interactions between you and himself were regular for a lady to a servant but he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more behind your actions.
The way you would speak to him so softly and the way your eyes always scanned the room for him first. When you asked him if he would be attending the ball and your visible upset expression when he said no. Or the way you let him kiss your hands last night and he swears he saw you lean in and pout your lips when he left. Did that all mean nothing? Was he just making things up in his head?
He walked away after seeing you with him, needing to clear his head. How had you gotten him feeling like this in just a week’s time?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your stroll in the park with Sungho was very peaceful. You guys walked around, making small conversation here and there about the autumn weather and the upcoming ball. You were able to talk with him freely, feeling like you guys were akin to close friends. But that’s all you felt with Sungho, friendship. You found a bench underneath a tree that you decided to stop at. You smoothed out your dress before sitting down.
“The weather is just lovely today. Not too cold yet.”
There was a slight breeze here and there but the weather itself was warm enough to wear you didn’t need an overcoat.
“It is really wonderful. I hear the weather is supposed to be good all weekend. A perfect time to have the ball. I am actually really excited for the ball. I can’t wait to dance with you.”
You felt a pang of guilt hit you. Sungho had feelings for you that you were upset you couldn’t reciprocate. He spoke up again,
“I hope you're excited to dance with me too but… I have a feeling that you’re not.”
You looked at him like a deer in headlights. You tilt your head and feign confusion.
“What do you mean, my Lord? Of course I am excited to dance with you.”
He had a knowing look in his eyes and his expression softened when he realized you must’ve been nervous at his question.
“I mean that I know you don’t feel for me how I feel for you. You made it a little obvious.”
You look away from him, lost for words.
“I’m sorry. You’re right, I do not feel for you in the way you have for me. I’m sorry for not telling you earlier…”
Your voice trails off, wanting to say more but not wanting to expose yourself in the process of explanation.
“I know you have feelings for my servant, Donghyun.”
You look at him yet again, but this time with a shocked look on your face.
“How did you…”
“Again, you made it pretty obvious. So did he. I noticed since the first day of practice that you two would exchange glances at each other. I had to remind you to keep eye contact with me.” He chuckled.
“I also figured when he offered to take you home the first night as well. Donghyun has a fear of driving a carriage after a minor accident he had years ago. We never make him do it, so I was surprised when he asked. I had a feeling then that something was going on. After that point, I had arranged for him to come get you because I knew it would make him happy. I also didn’t need the items I had him pick up for me at the tailor but I knew you’d be there so I sent him. I didn’t tell him that you’d be there but he started talking about his encounter with you when he came back. He could not wipe the smile off of his face.”
You looked at Sungho in awe that he would do that for his servant.
“After that, I knew for sure that he was harboring feelings for you. And when you came here to stay the night, I had heard from your brother that you were excited to stay over and that you didn’t once mess up while dancing with Donghyun like you had with me for the last 4 days.”
You sigh, relieved to know that Donghyun had truly felt the same way about you that you had about him.
“You don’t think it’s wrong that we have an attraction to each other? Surely this wouldn’t go over well with the Duke and Duchess.”
“I could handle them,  and besides, I have other women that have reached out about their interest for me.”
He says laughing, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
“I feel that we have gotten close like friends over this past week. I would be more than happy to know that you would make Donghyun happy.”
Looking up at him you smile.
“That makes me feel so relieved. Thank you for understanding and being so kind about it. I was so nervous about having to turn you down. And while I do appreciate you thinking I could make Donghyun happy, I don’t even know how I would go about seeing him again after this. He won’t even be at the ball.”
Sungho takes your hand in his, soothing it.
“You will find a way. There is always a way.”
He says almost cynically. He had a plan. You give him a hug and you two take to walking back, as it was nearing dinner time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After dinner you head back to your room to pack up your belongings. You hear a knock on your door.
“It’s Donghyun. May I come in, Lady Y/N?”
You smile and almost run to the door to open it in excitement.
“Hello Donghyun, what brings you in here?”
You ask while inviting him inside and closing the door behind you.
“Sorry, it’s a bit of a mess in here. I was just packing up my belongings.”
You say apologizing for the messy state of the room.
“It’s no worries at all. I was coming around to ask if you needed any help with packing or if you needed anything. I will be bringing you back so take your time, there is no need to rush.”
You can only look up into his eyes, suddenly becoming very aware of your height difference and how close he actually was to you. The tension in the room was palpable, like you could cut through it with a knife.
Everything Sungho told you at the park was replaying in your mind. You kept thinking about how he kissed your hands the night prior and the feeling it left in the pit of your stomach.
Your eyes were looking all across his face. His eyes that were big and sparkly and how you could get lost in them for hours. How perfectly his nose was shaped. His thick lips that looked so plump and kissable. His hair that was styled so perfectly, its length helping sharpen the look of his jawline. He truly did look like a work of art.
Unbeknownst to you, he was staring right back at you. Taking in all your features. His eyes looked first at your hair, then your nose, your cheeks, your forehead, your eyes, then your lips. They lingered at your lips for a while before looking back into your eyes.
“Lady Y/N…”
He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t want to ruin the moment between you two but he didn’t want to do anything either of you would regret.
“Can I kiss you?”
You place your hands on his shoulders and lean up to kiss him. His hands go straight to your waist, stabilizing you while he reaches down to meet your lips. It's like a flame lit between your bodies, not wanting to part from each other. You both start off slow. You take your time navigating through the kiss, your hands wrapping around his neck, pulling him in closer. Donghyun’s hands are roaming your body, wanting to feel as much of you as he can, respectfully. He’s aware of the implications that this kiss holds, but remembers that you’re a lady, and fights off any other naughty thoughts that are running around his mind. He doesn’t know that you’re thinking similar naughty thoughts. You both continue like this for a bit before pulling away, needing to catch your breath. You’re left breathless and needy, an unfamiliar feeling bubbling in your stomach, wanting more.
You're both looking into each other's eyes, the magnitude of your actions hitting you almost instantly. You pull away from each other slightly and take a deep breath.
“That was my first kiss.”
You say to break the silence.
“Mine too.”
He says and you giggle a bit. He starts laughing too, lightening the mood.
“I’m sorry for asking to kiss you. I realize how inappropriate that was.”
He looks away shamefully only for his attention to be pulled back to you when you speak up.
“Don’t apologize. It was more inappropriate for me to have just pulled you in like that. But I did enjoy it. I enjoy being around you, Donghyun.”
It’s his turn to blush, not being able to stop the bright smile from appearing in his face, his eyes smiling just as big.
“I enjoy being around you as well.”
“I know. Lord Sungho told me all of your efforts to come pick me up and drop me off were because of your feelings for me. If it wasn’t obvious by now I have feelings for you as well.”
You sit down on the bed and pat the seat next to you for him to sit down as well. You take his hands into yours before continuing to speak.
“Lord Sungho was telling me about your feelings for me. He told me he could sense that I didn’t have feelings for him because I was constantly looking at and searching for you.” You confess.
“He told me that he supports us figuring out whatever this may be between us.”
“But how? I am merely his servant and you’re the daughter of Lord L/N. I don’t know how this could work between us.”
He looks down sheepishly, realizing that there was no way he would be allowed to be with you. You take his face in your hands, caressing his cheek with your thumb.
“If the worry is about my parents, leave it to me. Do not worry about that. You would need to talk to Lord Sungho and your family.”
“That wouldn’t be too hard, I don’t have any other family. My parents were poor and could barely afford to live. We were taken in by the former Duke and Duchess and my parents worked for them. I grew up with Lord Sungho and we are best friends, but I am also his servant. My parents died a while ago, so really, it’s just me.”
He talked so calmly and openly about his past, as if he was telling you just another regular story. He smiles at you, melting into your touch.
“I’m so sorry for your loss, that must have been really hard.” You stare into his eyes, your expression softening at his confession of his parents’ passing.
“Thank you. Now let’s get you back. You have a ball to prepare for.”
He helped you bring your stuff out. It was to both of your surprises that Sungho was standing outside waiting for you by the carriage.
“I hope you’re okay with me bringing you back, Lady Y/N. I cleared my schedule for tonight.” Even though you really wanted Donghyun to drop you back, you knew that you would see him again eventually. You nod to Sungho before bowing to Donghyun and parting ways, Sungho helping you into the carriage. You see Donghyun smiling wide at you, waving you off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The carriage ride began quietly. You couldn’t help the goofy smile that splayed across your face thinking about your kiss with Donghyun. The way his hands held you so firmly at first, like he was scared to grip you any harder. Then after getting into it for a bit, the way he squeezed your figure like he never wanted to let you go. The heat you felt between your bodies, like it was meant to happen for the two of you to be together.
“You’re not usually this quiet on carriage rides with Donghyun, are you?”
Sungho giggles, breaking you out of your thoughts. You blush at the thoughts you were having.
“No, but, I have a lot on my mind.”
He can hear the smile through your voice.
“Is it the ball? Or something else?”
“It is the ball amongst other things. I’m scared but also excited. I know I was dreading it at first but I think I’m going to be sad when it's all over.”
You respond honestly, albeit, leaving out the biggest piece of information you were just thinking about.
“Now that all makes sense. But tell me really, what were you ACTUALLY thinking about? Thinking about the ball would not make you smile and giggle like you just did. Does it have something to do with Donghyun? Did something finally happen between you two” Sungho is glad you can’t see the smirk on his face.
“Lord Sungho! How dare you ask such a question!”
You can’t help the chuckle that leaves your lips, flabbergasted at his boldness.
“Oh come on Lady Y/N. You have already rejected me as a possible future husband. The least we can do is remain friends. I feel that we have become very close throughout this whole process. Not to mention that I have basically played the part of cupid in your relationship with Donghyun, whatever that may come of it.” He has a point.
“Fine. I suppose we can stay friends,” you say sarcastically, but actually you're really fond of the relationship you’ve grown to have with Sungho. It seems that your relationship has grown to be closer to that of a sibling relationship.
“But, we drop the formalities when we’re alone! Being called Lady Y/N by you feels too proper now that we are on a friend-to-friend basis.”
“Alright fine, I will drop formalities with you, but you still have to call me Lord Sungho,” He says, joking but he swears he can hear you roll your eyes at his comment.
“But okay, okay! Tell me what happened. I know Donghyun went into your room before you left.”
“It wasn’t anything much! We talked for a bit…”
“Aaannddddd?”
“And we kissed”
You hide your face in your hands, embarrassed after having said it out loud. Sungho bursts out laughing and then apologizes afterwards for laughing.
“That’s it? I’ll have to have a talk with him when I get back.”
“That’s not all! We talked after about what would come of this. We both obviously want to be together but he was worried about what my family would say since he’s your servant and I’m me. We don’t even know how we would be able to meet, especially once I tell my family that you and I are not going to pursue a relationship together.”
“Don’t tell your parents that we will not be together, yet. If you say that we do want to pursue a relationship together, that would make it easier for you to see Donghyun at our manor.”
“But what about you? I don’t want to hold you back from pursuing someone else because of this.”
“Well, unless you plan on hiding this relationship for years, I won’t be missing out on much if it is only for a few months.”
He laughs and you sigh. You feel so grateful for Sungho and his willingness to do this for you, even though you never asked him to. It shows how much he cares for both you and Donghyun.
“Plus, this is the least I can do for Donghyun. He has done so much for me, I owe him at least this much.”
You love how humble Sungho is. He never took for granted what he had and how he was so selfless, always looking out for others. Your respect for him only grew more.
“I could never ask you to do this for me, but thank you so much. I will owe you after this as well.”
There’s a shared silence between you two for a bit before you break it again,
“What did you mean when you said you would need to talk to Donghyun when you get back?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Sungho brought you home, you felt it inappropriate to let him leave with anything other than a hug, which surprised both your parents and Dongmin.
“I will see you at the ball, Lady Y/N. Have a great night.”
He kissed your hand and left. You walked into your house, not missing the confused smile on Dongmin’s face. He helped you take your bags back to your room where he shut the door. You immediately knew that he was going to want to talk about that hug.
“I thought you liked his servant? Why are you hugging him in front of our parents?”
You sighed, explaining everything to him, even the kiss you shared with Donghyun. He felt like he could tear up at your confession.
“You’re being so dramatic Dongmin.” You slapped his arm and he could tell you were being serious about this.
“So he really offered to do that for you, huh? What a good man he is. Good luck explaining all this to mom and dad in a few months.” The both of you shared a laugh at his statement, not wanting to think about what that moment would look like.
After telling him all of the information from your stay, he leaves you to yourself, where you ponder what the next two days will hold. The whole time you prepare for sleep, you’re thinking about Donghyun. About his hands, his face, his eyes, his lips. You miss the feeling of his lips on yours. You think about when the next time you’re going to see him will be. You hope that Sungho will invite you back to his house after the ball so you could see him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Who are you? What is your name? This is a two-faced game…”
The day of the masquerade ball arrives, and you’re as nervous as ever. The setup in the ballroom at your house was complete. The tables were beautifully decorated with gorgeous centerpieces and plates of hors d'oeuvres. There were plenty of drinks ranging from water, to juice to alcohol. The dance floor was polished to perfection, so much so that you could see your reflection if you looked down at it. The only thing left was for you to calm your nerves.
You looked around, thinking about all the events leading up to this day. How you didn’t know how to dance prior to this. How nervous you were when you kept stepping on Sungho’s shoes. How your attention flew to Donghyun the moment you stepped into the practice room. How you met Sungho and ended up falling in love with his servant.
Shaking your head, you focus now on greeting the guests as they enter the ballroom, remembering that this day was to celebrate your parents and your family. Everyone had masks on, so you were worried about not being able to recognize some people at first. You put on a smile, and it grew a 100x bigger when you saw Sungho and his parents. Of course if there was someone you’d recognize, it would be him. He greets you like normal and walks in, admiring the way everything was set up. He decides to stand next to you while you greet people, talking to him in between the guests’ arrivals. He whispers in your ear,
“Donghyun was right, you do, look beautiful,” he says, smiling at you and admiring the dress.
You blush at the thought of his name, and the fact that he was gushing to Sungho that you looked beautiful in your dress.
“Thank you.”
You could feel eyes on you. Even through the masks, you knew that people were staring at you. You assumed that you’d get stares from other potential suitors, but you didn’t think the feeling would be this overwhelming. You were still nervous but having Sungho by your side helped you a little. After about an hour of walking around, greeting and talking to guests, you decide to check in on your brother and parents.
“How is everything going over here?”
“Hey Y/N! Everything is good around here. How are you holding up? There’s been a lot of suitors coming up to talk to us about you.” Dongmin responds.
“Have there? I’ve been feeling a lot of people staring at me and it's overwhelming, honestly. I didn’t expect there to be so many people wanting to get to know me.”
He wraps an arm around you and pulls you into a hug, assuring you that it’s going to be alright and that it's only for one day. You congratulate your parents on their anniversary and the big success of the party before you head back to the dance floor with him.  Before the main dance of the ball starts, there were a couple of slow songs that people took to the dance floor to do. You knew these, as they were not that hard, but you had a line of suitors waiting to dance with you. You dance with them one by one, silently wishing it was over after every dance. During a break session you head to a table to grab a snack. You spot Sungho at a table by himself. You walk up to him and let out a deep breath that you were holding. Sungho can sense your tension.
“It’s that bad, huh?”
“They’re all very nice. But I have no interest in them. And I’m worried about the actual masquerade dance. Practicing with you was amazing and I thank you, truly, but I cannot hide the fact that I am nervous.”
“I know, but you will do amazing, I promise.”He sounded too sure, like he was plotting something. Your break was short-lived however, as a couple minutes later they called for everyone to join the dance floor for the fabled masquerade dance. Your heart beat sped up as you got into position with Sungho by your side.
Panic set in once the music started playing. Things were going smoothly at first, the music slow enough for you to keep up. You focused on not stepping on Sungho’s shoes, like you often did during the practice sessions. He could sense your nervousness and gave you a small smile.
“Hey, look at me. You’re doing great. Just keep looking up at me and let your body move on its own, don’t think about it too much.”
He was always good at calming you down, settling your nerves during practices, but it wasn’t helping now, not after you practiced with Donghyun. You wished you were dancing with him. He was able to calm your nerves in an instant. You didn’t once mess up during your practice with him.
Sungho was nice, he danced well and he was undeniably handsome. He was perfect in every way. You wished he could calm you down like Donghyun could. You look up at him and smile, trying to calm yourself and focus but the only thing on your mind was him. Keeping up for a bit, you were doing better but your blood ran cold at the next announcement:
“Let’s switch it up tonight! Everyone, please take a step to your left and meet your new partner!”
You take a step back and part with Sungho, watching as he spins with his new partner. He mouths to you, ‘heads up,’ before spinning away. You looked around frantically, confused. You were at the edge of the dance floor. Everyone seemed to have been able to find their partners except for you. You proceed with the steps by yourself, trying to keep up with the now quickened pace.
Suddenly, you spin and someone interlocks their hands with yours.
“May I have this dance?”
You can instantly recognize the almost shoulder-length brown hair, the thick lips and the eyes that still glimmer even through his mask. His voice is especially unmistakable. You felt a wave of relief wash over you.
“Donghyun!?”
You whisper-yell back at him. You focus for a second, straightening yourself out and talking to him during the parts of the dance that you guys are close enough to hear each other.
“I mean this in the nicest way possible but, what are you doing here? I thought you couldn’t attend?”
Really, you were having more trouble hiding your excitement. You no longer felt panic but confidence. Donghyun was always able to make you dance better.
“It was Lord Sungho’s idea! He wanted us to be together tonight!”
You hold in your laughter at his child-like glee. His smile making it impossible for you not to smile back at him. With your new found confidence, you are able to finish the dance without making any mistakes. The dance ends with Donghyun’s hand caressing your face before you two part ways for dramatic effect. After the dance, you both look for Sungho to thank him but he already beat you to it, walking up to you and Donghyun.
“I know I'm the best, no need to thank me.” he says all cocky.
“Well I was going to thank you but nevermind.” you playfully roll your eyes at him, not being able to conceal your smile.
Donghyun laughs at your interaction, Sungho having already told him about how you two agreed to drop formalities whenever possible and act more like friends than failed partners.
“I’m kidding. You guys did beautifully. I’m so happy for you guys!”
Sungho and Donghyun exchange knowing looks, laughing together afterwards. With the main dance being over you were able to relax for a bit. The party was still very lively and busy, with everyone now settling down to eat and mostly drink for the rest of the night. After talking with a couple more people and congratulating your parents once again, you tell them you will be going to lie down in your room for a bit. With their approval, you take it as the perfect opportunity to slip away from everyone with Donghyun, into your room.
“I’m so happy you were able to come! It truly was the best part of the night!”
You say to him after closing the door, giving him a hug. He sighs into your embrace, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent and letting out a contented sigh.
“You look even more beautiful today. I didn’t think it was possible. And you did great out there. I'm so proud.”
You blush at his words and pull out of the hug, planting a soft kiss on his cheek.
“You look very handsome. I don’t ever want to stop looking at you. And thank you, it was all because of you I was able to relax and do well tonight. No offense to Sungho but I was praying that I could’ve been dancing with you from the start.”
He smiles at your words before tilting your head up towards his, leaning down to give you a kiss. This one felt different to the one you shared at the Park’s residence. That one was more needy and sloppy, both of you not knowing how to deal with the emotions that had built up and were coursing through your veins. This one was more slow, emotions flowing steady through the way your lips parted and met each other yet again. Donghyun was taking his time kissing you, slowly moving down your face to your jaw, then your neck and to your exposed collarbones.
You let out pleasured sighs at his actions, not wanting him to stop.
“I think I know what's going to happen, but I’ve never done anything like this before…”
You admitted shyly. He stopped his kisses on your neck before stepping back to look at you.
“I understand. I have never done anything like this before either. But if you allow me, I know I can make you feel good. Do you trust me to do that for you, Lady Y/N?”
If the way his eyes were pleading with yours to say yes wasn’t enough, it was his hands holding your so softly and the way that he wanted to take care of you that did.
“I trust you Donghyun.”
He smiles at you before kissing your lips softly, hands going behind your dress to unzip it. After slipping out of it, you were left in a short, white slip-on dress. He walks you both to your bed where he has you straddle him. He runs his hands up your exposed thighs gently squeezing them a bit.
“If you want to stop at any point, just tell me and I’ll stop, okay?”
You nod your head eagerly as you pull him in for a kiss this time. He repeats his actions from earlier, kissing you for a bit before moving down to kiss your neck. You moan as he leaves wet kisses on your collarbone. He runs his hands up your arms before placing them on your waist, moving towards your chest. He puts his hand over your clothed breast, giving it a playful squeeze, wanting you to be okay with it before doing more. Upon hearing you moan again, he takes it as a green light before squeezing it more, rubbing his thumb over your covered nipple.
Your face is hot and you know that you’re blushing out of embarrassment but you don’t want him to stop. You pull the straps of your slip off, fully exposing your chest to him. You look away in embarrassment, not wanting to see the look on his face.
“You’re so beautiful, and so perfect.”
He grabs your jaw making you look at him again before connecting your lips. He lifts you both up off of the bed only to lay you down softly, never leaving your lips. He takes off his dark green overcoat, which he picked out to match with you when Sungho told him he would also be attending. He unbuttons his shirt and, to his surprise, you’re staring right at him. His toned and lean body makes his slight abs visible, even in the darkness of your bedroom. He smirks,
“Do you like what you see?”
He says playfully to which you feel your cheeks burn for the 100th time. He fully takes his shirt off, throwing it on the floor before making his way down your body. He runs his large hands up and down your legs before pausing to ask you a question: “Have you ever touched yourself before?”
He looked up at you with those big sparkly eyes that crinkled in the corner when a slight smile made its way onto your face.
“It’s quite embarrassing to admit, but yes I have, but not much.”
“That’s not embarrassing to admit, I appreciate your honesty, but please guide me, so I can make you feel as good as I can.”
He gives you the sweetest smile before slipping your dress up a little, now face-to-face with panties that have a clear wet spot around them.
“I didn’t know I made you this excited so quickly,”
He didn’t seem like the type, but his words were cocky, chuckling as he ghosted his fingers over the wet patch. You played into it,
“They were like this after our first kiss too. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, about you,”
You whispered to him which only spurred him on. He slowly slipped your panties off, discarding them next to his shirt, before rising a little to meet your lips. He guided two of his fingers down and hovered them above your clit.
“Tell me how this feels…”
He gently rubs your clit in circles, barely applying any pressure at first. He takes your slight whimper as a good sign and adds a little more pressure, kissing your neck as well. You grab onto his arm, clutching it as the pleasure in your core builds. You allow yourself to make some noises, the music outside loud enough to drown out your moans. You absentmindedly grind into his fingers, wanting more. Taking that as his sign, he moves his fingers away from your clit and slips them up and down your wet folds, collecting your slick.
“Let me know if it becomes too much”
He slips one finger in slowly. They were a lot longer than yours were and a lot thicker too. You nod your head at him to move and he slowly pushes a finger in before dragging it back out.
“F-Feels so good.”
He added another finger after a bit, making sure you were ready to take him. You buck your hips up into his fingers when he hits your sweet spot.
“Right there, it feels so good!”
You arch your back more, feeling immense pleasure build up within you. Suddenly, he takes out both fingers, to which you whine. He removes his pants and boxers before climbing back onto the bed and pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.
“I want you to finish on me. Are you ready, Lady Y/N?”
You nod your head quickly, wanting nothing more than for him to already be in you, but you’re nervous.
“Please be careful, and go slow. I’ve never done this before…”
“Don’t worry, I will make sure you are alright.”
He lines himself up with your entrance, biting back a groan as he slowly pushes himself in. You hiss a little at the intrusion, the foreign feeling causing you slight pain. His face morphs to one of worry to which you quickly reassure him that you’re okay.
“I’m okay, you can go ahead and move…”
His thrusts are painfully slow, not wanting to hurt you anymore. He can feel you squeezing his biceps, a little pride swelling in his chest. He takes this chance to dip down into your neck, leaving open-mouthed kisses but making sure not to leave any marks.
Your moans grow loud and are more frequent, a result of him speeding up his pace. You sit up slightly causing him to hit into you deeper. He groans in your ear,
“You feel so good around me, I don’t think I’ll be able to last much longer,”
The feeling in your stomach is familiar, similar to the one Donghyun had caused earlier when he was fingering you. You assumed this is what it meant to be close, feeling the pleasure tighten and about to burst.
“I feel it, please don’t stop Donghyun!”
You let yourself be a little louder that time, knowing it would fuel him to go faster— and he did. Moments later you’re coming all over him. He thrusts a few more times before pulling out and using his hand to finish himself off, cumming all over it.
Your breathing is shallow and quick, your throat dry from all the moaning and kissing. Donghyun runs to the bathroom connected to your room and washes his hands before grabbing a towel to clean you up. You wince at the process, still sensitive from before.
“Thank you for cleaning me up, Donghyun. That was amazing.”
“You were amazing. I didn’t know I could feel that good. I didn’t go too hard, did I?”
You shook your head before pulling him in for another kiss. You thought about what he had said before when you first kissed. How he hadn’t kissed anyone before either.
“No, it was just perfect. But I have a question for you. Last time, you said you never kissed anyone before. So how were you so good at what you just did?”
It was Donghyun’s turn to blush and avoid your gaze.
“That night that we kissed, Lord Sungho had asked to speak to me after he got back. He asked about what had happened and then he asked me if I knew what to do afterwards. When I told him that I had never done that before, he explained to me what the next process would be like…”
“Oh my, I’m sure that was embarrassing for you, having to talk to him about such an intimate thing?”
“Not really. We practically grew up together, besides the fact that I am his servant, he doesn’t treat me like one. We’re like brothers.”
He smiles to himself at the thought of Sungho treating him more like a brother than a servant.
“Of course we have to act very formal when others are around, but when we’re by ourselves, it’s like the class gap doesn’t exist.”
“That’s so beautiful. I’m glad he doesn’t make you feel like you’re just a servant. You’re so much more than that.”
You get up, wincing slightly at the ache between your legs, suddenly aware that you were still very naked. You look back to see Donghyun staring at you with a bright smile, eyes disappearing because he was smiling so wide. You say playfully,
“Stop looking at me! I’m naked!”
“I know, I’m the reason why.”
You laugh at his joke while slapping his arm.
“You’re cheeky”
“Maybe just a little bit.”
He laughs and gets up, putting his clothes back on and helping you back into your dress.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Welcome to my Masquerade…”
You could still hear the music outside, and the faint voices of people over it. Slowly, you both slip out of your room, you first and Donghyun leaving a few minutes later. You catch the eye of Sungho and Dongmin as you enter the ballroom. Dongmin says something first,
“You’ve been gone for a while! I was looking for you, where have you been? There were many people asking to speak to you.”
You hope they don’t catch the way your breath hitches before answering,
“After the dance, I told mom and dad that I would go to my room to lie down for a bit…”
Now it was Sungho’s turn to speak,
“If you were lying down, why are you a little sweaty and your hair is messed up?”
Before you could answer, Donghyun walks into the ballroom, walking up to the three of you.
“How is everyone’s night going so far?”
Donghyun says, adjusting his mask. Dongmin and Sungho exchange knowing looks, Sungho smirking up at Donghyun.
“It’s going fine. We were looking for Y/N because there were many people wanting to talk to her but we couldn’t find her. I was going to ask you to help us find her but you disappeared too.”
Sungho tilted his head to the side, waiting for Donghyun’s explanation. He had never lied to Sungho before, but he was quick on his feet.
“Oh, I’m sorry I couldn’t help you look, I was in the restroom. But I see that you have found her and I’m sure there are plenty of people still waiting to talk to her now.”
You look up at him in disbelief, holding back a laugh as you feign seriousness. Dongmin tongues his cheek, also holding back a laugh. He grabs your arm, guiding you to the next person that wants to talk to you, whispering to Donghyun,
“I know what you guys did, fix your shirt,”
Donghyun looks down, realizing that his shirt was sticking out from underneath his overcoat, not tucked into his pants. He looks up at Sungho, who's already shaking his head at him.
“If you guys are gonna be sneaking around like this, at least get better at being aware of your state afterwards… but then again, I am proud of you. Did you do everything I told you to do?”
Donghyun smirks, fixing his shirt before answering,
“Have I ever not done something you’ve told me to do?”
Both men share a laugh as they watch you struggle to hide your disgust at the next suitor you’re talking to. You make eye contact with Donghyun for a second, to which he winks at you, mouthing a  ‘good luck’ before shooting you a thumbs up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the ball ends, you and your family see the guests off, saying your goodbye’s. The last family to leave is Sungho’s. By now, your family lets you see him off without them needing to be there, so they say their goodbyes before heading back inside. Sungho’s parents give you the same courtesy, waiting in the carriage for Sungho and Donghyun, who drove the carriage here. Dongmin insisted he stay outside with you.
“Well, I’ve had a lovely evening, Lord Dongmin, Lady Y/N. I hope to see you soon at our manor. I’m sure someone else would like to see you there as well.”
Sungho brings your hand up to his lips.
“Next time you come over, be sure to bring Lord Dongmin with you, we have much to discuss.”
Dongmin and Sungho exchange hugs and talk amongst themselves while Donghyun comes up to you.
“I have also had a lovely evening with you, Lady Y/N. I hope to see you soon.”
Donghyun kneels before you, placing a kiss onto the backs of both your hands, the grandest request of courtship.
“I wish to court you from here on. Please think of me until we see each other again.”
You tear up a little at his confession, placing a soft kiss on his cheek, hoping that Sungho’s parents weren’t looking out the carriage, wondering what’s taking them so long.
“I will be sure to visit very soon. And I promise, I’ll think of you everyday.”
With that, the four of you bid each other farewell, you and Dongmin making your way back inside.
“That was so risky, even for you. You’re lucky nobody caught on.”
“I was nervous the whole time but it just felt right. I hope you’re not mad at me, big brother.”
“Why would I be mad? My little sister is happy! And I’m so happy for you. Not to mention how me and Sungho have built quite the friendship over this past week, especially tonight.”
“Thank you Dongmin. I really like him. I’m glad you do too! I hope you guys can build a good friendship as well.”
He pulls you into a hug and you finally feel at ease, after the preparation, the practice, talking to so many people and the actual ball itself. Not to mention that your and Donghyun’s earlier affairs had your legs slightly shaking the rest of the night. You feel yourself relaxing into Dongmin’s arms, the exhaustion from the entire week finally catching up to you.
“Let’s get you to bed. I know you must be tired.”
Dongmin scoffs before picking you up, carrying you to your bed.
I drop the last box on the porch, sighing as I watch the moving truck drive away. What trouble have I gotten myself into... actually, they have gotten me into. I love my family very much, but did they really need to leave me with... this?
Okay, let me explain. My grandmother died a while ago and, well, like every decent American, she had a will. What I didn't expect was that I would be forced to leave Brazil to inherit a farm that is falling apart. She hadn't lived here for a good few years when her illness began to take over, so the farm was left empty and the animals were given to someone who could take care of them, probably to a neighboring farm, from what I remember.
I stare at the large wooden door, the key in my hand. I take another deep breath, walking to the door at once, turning the key, trying to get it to open. Well, as everything that is great can get better, what is shit can get worse too. "Shit!" I exclaim, kicking the door, more to try to relieve stress than to try to open it.
And I thought I was the favorite granddaughter...
I roll my eyes, my head falling forward and my forehead hitting the door. "Holy shit... Why didn't you leave this to Matthew, huh, Grandma?" I ask, as if she could hear me, wondering why she didn't leave it to my cousin, who lives, like, two hours away.
"Do you need help?" I hear a voice that makes me turn back to the entrance of the farm and see a ridiculously tall guy wearing a blue flannel shirt and jeans, standing in front of the porch steps. "Excuse me?" I ask, not understanding where the man came from. I look a little behind him and see a blue pickup truck parked at the entrance of the farm. How did I not hear him coming?
"My parents said you came to live here permanently, so I thought it would be a good idea to come and help you... and it's summer, I have nothing to do on my parents' farm, so..." he continues babbling, as he walks up the steps, looking nervous about something but only one thing goes through my mind: Who is this guy?
"Excuse me, who are you again?" I ask, very confused, making him stop on the last step, his expression changing a few times. "Do I look that different?" He asks with a smile, staring at me. I open my mouth to reply with some ironic shit, but my brain freezes when I finally recognize the bright blue eyes. "Clark?"
It all seems to make sense now. I mean, why on earth would a random guy show up at my grandmother's door? Which is now my house...
Clark and I used to play together when I came here, in the summer when I was a kid. And sometimes in the winter too. And not just when we were kids...
I watch him smile and climb the last step. "I thought you forgot..." he says, pulling me into a tight hug that I return. "You look different, but I could never forget you!" I say, pulling out of the hug and he walks to the front door, touching the doorknob.
"It's stuck, you won't be able to open it that easily..." I say, trying to warn him, but when I see him he's practically broken down the door. "What the..." I stare at him, who seems to have made the minimum effort to open that door while my toes are still sore from the kick I gave him. "Ladies first" he says, gesturing for me to enter the house and I do. My heart skips a beat as the first wooden plank creaks beneath my feet.
The house is in a state of disrepair, that's for sure. Cobwebs are the least of it. All the furniture is falling apart and the musty smell is unbearable. All the wallpaper is peeling and everything is a mixture of mud, dust and bugs. I reach for the light switch, trying to turn on the light. The light stays on for a total of five seconds before the bulb simply explodes into sparks. "Shit."
"Okay, so... we have a lot of work to do..." Clark says, crossing his arms beside me and I glare at him "You don't have to..." I try to argue but he interrupts me "I'm not going to let you take care of this house alone. Are we going to start now or not?" He says, rolling up the sleeves of his button-down shirt.
Oh my God, when did his arms get so... huge...?
Holy shit, Lianna. Focus!
"Okay, let's go..." I say, taking off my own jacket, throwing it over some boxes outside.
_
I sigh, sitting on the porch steps, trying to regulate my breathing. Most of my boxes are still outside and it's already the third day, but every hour there seems to be a new problem with the house.
Why does it have to be me?
The sound of the pickup truck pulls me from my thoughts. I see Clark getting out of the truck in his boots, jeans, and green flannel shirt.
I've really been away for too long... when did that teenager I knew get so...
I guess I'm thinking too much. I'm definitely thinking too much, thinking so much that I almost didn't notice the clump of white fur getting out of the truck and running towards me. The dog circles me, smelling me and wagging his tail, stopping in front of me, tongue out, as if smiling. "Oh, hi!" I greet the dog, my hands going behind his ears, the look in his eyes bringing back memories of my teenage years. "Wait, is that Krypto?" I ask Clark, who approaches the porch.
"That's him!" He sits down next to me, his hand stroking the dog's head. "Wow! He's what? 15 years old?" I look at Clark, seeing his blue eyes looking between me and Krypto, stuttering a little "Yeah... yeah, I think so... about 15 years old, yeah..." he says, coughing a little, looking a little nervous. "Uhm, my mom sent this" He hands me a paper bag "for your lunch".
"Oh, she's so sweet!" I smile, taking the bag "I miss her!" I say, looking inside the bag, the incredible smell of food reminding me that I didn't have breakfast.
"She misses you too, she asks me every now and then if I've heard from you..." He looks at me as if he wants to talk about something that I know exactly what it is. "I'm sorry I disappeared... life got a little more complicated when my dad died and coming back here..." I try to explain myself, but Clark puts his hand on mine, interrupting me. "It's okay... I mean, you could have sent me an update, but you're okay, that's what matters," he says, looking into my eyes.
I take a deep breath, enjoying the feeling of his hand on mine and those sky-colored eyes staring at me.
"I wish I had called..." I say, a feeling of not having done what I should have taken over me "written, I don't know... sent you an update..." I laugh, without any humor. "I didn't call either..." Clark says, shrugging, but looking at me with a little guilt in his eyes "I could have called..." he says, intertwining his fingers with mine, looking at the rain that has started to fall.
"Things were as they were supposed to be..." I say, letting my head fall to the side, resting it on his shoulder, smiling when he rests his head on mine.
"What do you think about changing that wallpaper? It's kind of cheesy, right?" He suggests completely changing the subject, in that way he always did to distract me from difficult subjects. "That would be great!" I chuckle, leaning into his touch.
_
"So, I brought the best ones I could find..." Clark says, entering the house with many rolls of wallpaper. Many. "There's this blue one and there's this one with flowers..." he shows me "I think you'll choose the one with the flowers, but I needed to bring the blue one in case you changed your taste in prints..."
I laugh, looking at him, finishing sweeping the dusty floor. I put down the broom and walk over to him, looking at the options he brought me. He really knows me well. He still knows me well. I smile, picking up one of the rolls of wallpaper with a white background and flowers in pink, blue and violet. "I loved this one!" I say "Thanks, Clark!".
"You're welcome! I'll return the blue ones to the store later..." he says, dropping the box of blue wallpaper on the porch. "You're amazing, you know that?" I say when he stops in front of me, holding the box with all the rolls of wallpaper in one hand. He smiles at me, with that smirk as he says: "You've told me that a few times..."
I can barely contain the smile that tries to appear on my face, as he places the box on the new couch, identical to the old one, but without rat piss. Krypto doesn't take long to climb on the couch, watching as we work, enjoying his nice little life. It's quite possible to say that Clark's more excited about this renovation than I am. He's been here every day for almost two weeks, without fail. I have nothing to complain about, but it's funny and gratifying to see how much he's dedicated to making this house at least decent.
I see him enter through the back door with a ladder, his perfect hair dragging on the doorframe and I notice that he slightly lowers his head to get through.
"So..." he begins, positioning the ladder on the wall near the door "my mother invited you to dinner at my house today..."
"Today?" I ask, incredulous. "Today." He answers me simply, as he begins to install the wallpaper.
Is it wrong to find the guy I've had a crush on since I was a teenager extremely attractive while he's installing wallpaper? Ah, the wonders of adult life...
"Oh, I..." I try to say, but he interrupts me. "You know she doesn't take 'no' for an answer, right?" I confirm, knowing this very well. "And also, she's already started thinking about the dinner menu, so..." he argues, leaving me with no way to refuse.
"I have nowhere to run, right?" I ask, just to confirm.
"No."
_
And here I am, standing at the Kents' door, wearing a dress. A dress! A white sundress with blue flowers. My God, I haven't worn a dress in years. I ring the bell next to the door, taking a deep breath. The door opens and I see Clark on the other side, smiling, wearing his denim jacket and the white t-shirt underneath, and his glasses askew. "Hi! You're early!" He smiles, making room for me to pass. "My mom's in the shower and my dad's out back finishing fixing the back door." I walk into the house, slightly embarrassed to be back after so long. "I brought this..." I hand the dish to Clark, "I didn't have much time to make something better, so I made it with what I had at home..." Clark takes the container from my hand, removing the cloth from the top, revealing the sweet treat my mom taught me to make. "Lily, you didn't have to..." he begins with a smile forming on his lips and I feel a shiver down my spine hearing my old nickname come out of his mouth after so long. "I did need it, Clark. I wasn't going to show up here empty-handed." I smile "It's called 'pudim', it's typical in Brazil..."
"You're amazing, you know?" He smiles, taking the pie to the kitchen, gesturing for me to follow him. I close the front door behind me and head to the kitchen. "You've told me that a few times..." I smile, watching him finish setting the table.
There's still a small feeling of being home hidden in my chest. Everything seems as comfortable as I remember, the couch in the same corner as always where Clark and I used to watch all the cliché Christmas movies and romantic comedies – because he always let me choose what to watch.
"So..." he approaches me, drying his hand on a dish towel "here hasn't changed at all, has it?"
"Even the couch is in the same place... it seems like it was yesterday..." I say, trying not to sound too nostalgic.
"It really does!" I hear a familiar voice at the kitchen door and turn around, finding Martha, smiling, coming to hug me. "Martha, I miss you so much!" I hug her back, smiling.
"I was so happy when I found out you were moving here for good! I called Clark right away, he was in Metropolis, putting off coming to spend the break here!" she says, ignoring her son. "Mom..." Clark says, a warning and a little embarassment implied in his voice. I look at him, curious, since he had made me understand that he was already here.
"Lianna! My God, you're such an adult!" Jonathan appears next to Clark, smiling at me, repeating Martha's action when she hugged me. "The last time I saw you, you were wearing glasses and pigtails!" he says, not even humorously, making me laugh. "That's true!" I agree. "Thank God for contact lenses!"
"Come on, let's sit down and eat!" Martha gestures to the table. "Mom, Lianna brought a typical Brazilian dessert, it's called 'pudin'." He says, with his cute American accent. "Pudim." I correct him playfully, emphasizing the 'm' with my Brazilian accent.
"Pudi-m..." he tries again, making me laugh. "Almost that..."
We finally sit down to dinner, Clark in front of me, next to his father and his mother next to me.
Dinner goes by peacefully. There's never a lack of conversation with the Kents, even after so long. His parents ask me how things are going in Brazil, how my mother and brothers are doing, what I do for a living, if I like what I do. That's the kind of thing you talk about when you haven't seen each other for many years.
"I'm a journalist..." I say, as Martha cuts a piece of the pie she made, placing it on a plate with the dessert I brought. "Are you a journalist too?" Jonathan asks me. "I am! I used to work in audiovisual journalism in Brazil..."
"That's really cool!" Clark says, picking up his own plate of sweets that his mother placed on the table, "Do you have a job around here yet?"
"Not really... I dropped everything to come and take care of the farm..." I say, taking a bite of the pie.
"That's really nice of you..." Martha says, "We kept some of your grandmother's horses when she got sick... the cows went to another neighbor, but they're all well taken care of!"
I look at all of them, sighing in relief, "That's good to hear! I admit I was worried about the little animals, I loved them!"
"I remember! I even thought I was going to be a vet..." Clark says. "I almost was... but I don't think I would have..." I laugh.
The evening continued as pleasantly as before. Clark's father was the first to leave while Clark and I worked together, washing and drying the dishes. His mother tried to stay a little longer but soon followed her husband, claiming that she no longer has the same energy as before. Clark and I finished putting away the dishes and I was ready to leave when he took two bottles of beer from the fridge and handed me one, inviting me to stay a little longer.
And here we are. On the roof of the Kent house. Looking at the stars. Just like when we were teenagers and used to go up here, sneaking drinks from the adults. Now we are two adults and it's so weird to think about.
"Can you believe that nowadays we don't have to smuggle a bottle of beer here anymore?", I ask, breaking the comfortable silence between us. "I was thinking the same thing!" he says, letting out a laugh.
I hear a few small pops and look to the side, seeing Clark sitting down, resting his arms on his knees, staring at the trees behind the house. I sit down too, trying to adjust my dress to cover my thick thighs. Damn, this is why I don't wear dresses!
"Is everything okay?" he asks, seeing me struggling with the dress. "It's okay, it's just... that's why I don't wear dresses... I'm too big for them..." I say, taking a deep breath, finally managing to keep the skirt in place and I see Clark frowning. "I think it looks great on you..." he compliments and I can't help but laugh humorlessly. "I know it doesn't." I reply. "I guess I was trying to impress, or something... I don't know..." I say, laughing at myself, taking a sip of beer.
"I think you should wear it more often..." he says, looking at me with an intensity I haven't seen in a long time. "You look beautiful..." he smiles with that sideways smile, his blue eyes staring deep into my soul, and that's enough to make my heart beat faster, as if I were that teenager again.
He looks forward again, as if coming out of a trance, shaking his head a little, his curls bouncing cutely. I turn back to the front, staring at the trees and the stars. "Thank you..." I say, "For helping me with the house... and for the compliment, too..." I lower my head, trying to hide my flushed cheeks. "I think you're the only person who can compliment me so... openly...".
"I just told the truth." I see him shrug, taking another sip of his beer and I look at him, searching for some sign of joking or lying in his eyes. Nothing. "You know, I missed you in the summers. And in the winters too..." he admits, leaving the bottle leaning against a tile.
"I missed you too." I confess, hugging my legs, feeling the cold night breeze chill my bones. "You were by far the best company to spend the holidays with..." I smile without showing my teeth, remembering the chaos that the holidays became as soon as all the grandchildren arrived at the Farm.
"I guess I can say the same thing... your cousins were very..." he smiles, unfolding a blanket he brought when we went upstairs. "Chaotic?" I suggest, feeling him place the blanket over my shoulders, our faces being inches apart for a few seconds, making me hold my breath until he was back in his place.
"Yeah... 'chaotic' is a great description for them..." he laughs. "I'm glad it's just you now... I can visit you without fear of leaving all covered in paint..." he remembers one of the last summers I spent here, when my twin cousins played a prank on him. Well, the victim wasn't really him, but rather anyone who walked through the door at that time, and well... Clark was the first. "Maybe I'll call Fred to help me prank you, one of these days..." I laugh, teasing him a little.
"Oh, I'm sure he'll love that!" Clark says sarcastically, making me laugh even more, and I barely notice the way he's staring at me.
I take a deep breath, wrapping myself even tighter in the blanket, and my heart skips a beat when Clark keeps staring at me in that intense way he's had before.
Something in his gaze reminds me of the last time I was here. On this roof, just the two of us. The first time we kissed. I almost let out a laugh, a slight snort escaping my nose as I look straight ahead, avoiding his gaze.
They always say that the first kiss is always bad, and... yeah, it kind of was. We came up here, smuggling some cheap liquor I found at my grandmother's house. We were trying to get away from my cousins, obviously, but we ended up drinking too much and kissed. And it was really weird. We got down from the roof, and he took me home without saying a word. The next day, when I wasn't drunk anymore, I could barely go to town with my grandmother to go shopping, afraid of running into him and afraid that he would never want to look at me again because of that horrible kiss. But of course, Mrs. Celina dragged me with her to the market and made me hold all the bags while she picked out the things. That's when Clark showed up to save the day, as he always did. He helped me with the bags and walked us to our farm. And then, when my grandmother came in, he kissed me again, at the front door. Infinitely better than the day before, I must say.
"What's wrong?" I hear his voice next to me, pulling me out of my trance of memories. "Nothing..." I answer with a smile, but he raises his eyebrow, not accepting my answer. "It's just..." I start, looking at my hands holding the blanket "I was remembering...".
"First kiss?" he asks, his eyebrow raising a little higher and I suddenly feel so shy around him. "Yeah..." I say, looking straight ahead again.
I hear a laugh beside me but I don't dare look at him, the embarrassment making my skin flush.
"I always remember that when I come here... and I come here a lot..." he says, looking down, his arms resting on his knees, his tone almost like a confession. "I think... maybe I missed you more than I care to admit." he says, his voice almost in a whisper, as if he were saying it only to himself. But I hear him, and I look at him, my eyebrows furrowed and my gaze too curious, too hopeful, waiting for him to continue, but he doesn't. He just stares at the roof, as if he's said enough for now.
"Me too." I admit. It's not a lie. In fact, it's the honest truth. "I love Brazil, but spending my vacation there, alone, isn't the same... and by alone I don't mean without my cousins..." I say, a small laugh escaping, but my smile slowly disappears when he looks at me again. Those bright blue eyes. "I missed you. A lot." He presses his lips together in a thin smile, playing with the empty beer bottle in his hands. The subject seems to disappear between us, but it's not an unbearable silence. It's actually quite pleasant. In fact, everything is quite pleasant around Clark. I used to think it was all in my head, from when I was a teenager, but... the feeling is still the same.
I take a deep breath, staring at the stars, imagining what it would be like to fly among them, as if all the weight of my body were null. I smile at the idea of a small and light body, as if it were even funny. Me, small and light.
"It must be cool, right?" I ask, out of nowhere, still looking at the stars, and Clark looks at me with a question mark on his face. "Flying," I clarify. "Like Superman. Being so powerful that you can just jump and fly around... or being so light that your body simply floats near the stars." I say, smiling, but I can see the gears in his head turning and turning and turning.
"I wrote and directed a video journalistic report about him, you know?" I ask, more to tell him something I think he'd like to know. "Superman is a huge hit in Brazil, everyone loves him. That neat little hair, the blue eyes and the underwear outside his suit. The kids love it." I laugh, taking a last sip of my beer while looking at Clark.
He's still, staring at me. I frown at him, as if to ask "What's wrong?" But the gears in his head seem to keep turning. "Clark?" I call to him and he swallows hard, looking down and then back at me. "Is everything okay?"
"Oh, sure, it's great!" he says, shaking his head and looking at me with a little smile. "It's just that you reminded me of an article I need to write about Superman too... but... but what about this video journalistic report of yours? Can I watch it any time?"
"Sure! Tomorrow, if you want I'll show you... speaking of which, it's getting a little late, right?" I ask, staring at the phone screen. "It's almost midnight... I think I should go..." I say, worried about the time.
"Oh, yes! Of course, it's late!" Clark agrees, standing up, offering me his hand and I gladly accept, following him slowly, avoiding making too much noise on the tiles.
He goes down the stairs first, reaching the grass. I go down soon after, foot by foot, step by step, suspicious of the old wooden stairs. But even so, I think I trusted him too much. When I was almost on the grass, with a few steps left, a damn nail broke, making the wood give way under my feet and all my balance disappear. My body falls backwards and I feel like it's in slow motion as I try to reach the stairs to hold on and balance myself, but at the same time, I embrace my fate that I'm going to fall backwards on the ground. I just close my eyes, waiting. But the thud never comes. In fact, there is a fall, but on two strong and enormous arms that are now surrounding me, somehow, saving me from falling on my ass. I open my eyes, wondering how and when Clark became so strong, but as soon as I open my eyes, I see him. His eyes. So close. After so many years.
He puts me back on my feet, without any apparent effort, but he continues to hold my waist. And now that I realize, I continue to grab his biceps – which I don't even remember how I started holding in the first place.
I let go of his arms, a little embarrassed by the situation, but his eyes don't leave me, they don't stop studying my face, and it may have been my imagination, but I'm almost sure I felt his hands squeeze my waist lightly, making me look into those eyes again and for a moment, I almost don't realize how close we are. I almost don't notice when he leans a little more towards me, and the way my body simply responds, even after so many years.
But it's impossible, impossible, not to notice when he presses our bodies together. The way his eyes wander to my mouth every now and then. The way our breaths mingle as the tips of our noses touch as we continue to lean into each other.
And it's almost otherworldly when he finally kisses me. When my eyes close as my arms instinctively wrap around his neck. And when his arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer.
I almost let out a moan in the middle of the kiss when he tangles his fingers in my hair, angling my face better as the kiss gets deeper and deeper.
I don't know how long we stay there, or anything like that. I just know that we need to break the kiss when the need for air becomes greater. Our breaths, still mingled, and completely out of control, almost make me laugh. But nothing really matters to me now, when all I feel is wanting more.
More, more, more.
I tilt my face again, searching for more and he obliges. The kiss now feels more desperate, more passionate, more... hotter.
"I think you can stay here tonight..." He murmur against my lips and in a few seconds I feel his hands going down to my ass, squeezing a little and then going down to my thighs, making me wrap my legs around his waist, and I almost let out a little scream at the way he holds me so easily.
"Yeah, I think I can..."
“Are you sure it’s okay for me to come home with you? This isn’t some small break like spring or that lil rinky dink one they give us in February.” (Y/n) asked, zipping the sides of her suitcase together. The long awaited summer break had come and after tiring, long hours of college classes all (Y/N) and Miyaki wanted to do was head home.
Well that was the original plot however it had clearly been lost. One phone call home and all of a sudden her mom and dad had magically ‘forgot’ to inform her that they had planned a trip for the two of them and the addition of her other three siblings (who somehow had been informed and never got left out..) to Europe. Although the girl was originally mad - rightfully so- she got over it really fast. So much so that she didn’t even bother letting her mom finish her little half assed excuse of how she thought she had texted her with the info and what not. This was her summer too and she was not going to start it off being upset over family drama.
However she still did feel bad about joining Miyaki on her trip home. The two girls had become fast friends during their few years at college and as the tall woman had said “We’ve been friends for years and ain’t been to each other’s houses once. You don’t think that’s a lil weird?” and she had to agree but it was one thing to spend the night at a friend’s house but to spend an entire summer? That was practically unheard of from where she came from! Nobody had that kind of money and food to be feeding an extra mouth for an entire three months.
“Yes girl, relax! I asked my dad today if it was chill for you to come and he agreed! Quit worrying and grab yo shit, the car is waiting out front.” The green eyed girl said, tossing her faux locs over her shoulders. Before (Y/n) could get in another worry or complaint she walked out of the dorm, slamming the door behind her.
“That girl has some serious attitude problems, I’ll tell ya that…” the girl muttered to herself, rolling her suitcase in tow. She eyed the dorm one last time, smiling at the nice memories they had made this year before exiting, leaving the key under the mat for the next students that’d come to stay.
——————————
The first sign that Miyaki came from a different living situation from her was the shiny black Rolls-Royce parked in front of the housing part of campus. There was an older gentleman in a chauffeur outfit who put their bags in the car. She’d given her friend a look who gave her a confused one back before hopping in the car with her. Was this really not out of the ordinary for her? If this was just her car what would her house look like?
(Y/n) let out an audible gasp as the big black gates opened.
“You live in a gated community?!” she exclaimed, turning to her roommate. Miyaki’s face scrunched up in confusion.
“Gated community? Sis….this is my house!” she let out a laugh as the (h/c) haired girl remained silent, looking at the large house in awe. How many people lived with Miyaki? To say she was stunned was an understatement. Miyaki was the most down to earth person she had met since going to college at Stonebrook. As the name suggested, it was a really prestigious and fancy school, tons of stuck up brats on daddy and mommy’s pay going to the school. (Y/n) had always been isolated by her peers since she was attending on a scholarship. They found it pathetic and pitied her which she despised. Why should she be looked down on for actually working to get into school?
Miyaki had never felt that way though. She treated (Y/n) as she treated everyone else…if not a little better (the girl had quite a mean streak) and was very quiet about her home life. But now as they walked up the quartz stairs and through the big marble columns, she could understand why.
“Dad, we’re home! Come meet my friend!” the girl’s voice echoed across the entire house causing her to snicker. ‘Does she ever use an inside voice?’
“I’ll be down in a sec, sweetheart!” a deep baritone voice called out. (Y/n) felt her heart race at the sound. The man’s voice went through her ears like silk. It was smooth but had a bit of a dark tinge to it, like a hint of cream in black coffee. She pulled out her phone, scrolling through her socials as she awaited the man’s presence. After what felt like forever a pair of footsteps came in their direction before parking in front of them. The woman almost dropped her phone at the sight in front of her.
In front of her was the finest man she had ever seen. Brown skin that had that healthy glow, prominent cheekbones, and a bit of facial hair around the mouth region. He was only in jeans and a t- shirt but the way it fit him? The shirt clung to his torso perfectly, the muscles of his upper arms constricted by the cuffs, toned chest. This was her father? She could’ve never guessed by how fit he was! Thighs so thick that she had to stop herself from letting her thoughts drift (more so than they already were..). But when he smiled? Her legs turned to jello. His smile was bright and blinding and he had the most charming gap. It seemed as time had slown down when she was looking at him and from the looks of it he wasn’t disappointed at what he was seeing either. She didn’t miss the way his eyes lingered on her midriff for just a little too long or the slight whistle he let out before covering it up with a cough.
“I’m Sam Wilson, Miyaki’s father. You must be (Y/n).” he said, holding a hand out for her to take. She gladly accepted it, shaking it with one hand as she placed the other one on top of both of them in a gentle way. The girl smiled back at him offering him a nod.
“Indeed I am! It’s so Nice to meet you Mr.Wilson and can I just say how thankful I am for you and Mrs.Wilson allowing me to stay with you guys for the summer. Especially with Miyaki’s short notice and all.” out of the corner of her eye she could see Miyaki roll her eyes at her sudden over-politeness towards her father and the way she had completely thrown her under the bus. Her attention was brought fully back to the man in question as he tightened his grip around her hand some.
“Mrs.Wilson? I’m not surprised Miyaki didn’t give you the details. It’ll only be the three of us here for the summer so in other words, there is no Mrs.Wilson.” he looked to the side a bit before turning back to face her, a smirk present on his face. “Also you don’t gotta be so formal, just Sam will do.” Miyaki cleared her throat impatiently causing the two to look to the side before laughing together. “Well it looks like Yaki is getting impatient so if you girls need anything, I’ll be around. Dinner is at 6.” the older man gave her a once over before walking off to what she could only assume was the kitchen.
“Girlll and you been hiding him from me because??” (Y/n) asked, rubbing her hands together. Miyaki smacked her lips together, dragging the girl towards her room.
“You betta stop playing with me.” when her friend stayed quiet, the girl gasped, turning her head. “Wait you’re joking…you tryna get my dad to hit?! Oof.” she grunted as one of her pillows hit the back of her head. Turning she saw her friend on her bed, glaring at her.
“Don’t say it like that! All I said was he’s fine nothing more nothing less. That can’t be your first time hearing that, one of your other friends has had to say something.” She felt the girl thud down beside her on the bed. She hummed for a bit before flipping over to face her friend.
“I mean I can’t say I’m surprised really. You love you an older man. Remember when you switched to that one baking course just so you could flirt and make googly eyes with Mr.Garcia?”
“That’s not why I switched! I was simply interested in getting to know his favorite dessert!” (Y/n) exclaimed, turning her head the opposite way. “In hopes that maybe I could become his favorite dessert.”
“Whateva. Anyways, you wanna watch a movie till dinner?”
—————————–
Dinner had been amazing. Sam went all out, pulled out the grill, made dessert, it was all so lavish and delicious! He even had lobster which (Y/n) made sure to take full advantage of. He had said help yourself and who was she to go against his wishes in his home?
It was now around three in the morning as she stumbled around the house curiously. She and Miyaki had gone to bed early, absolutely exhausted from the long car ride over and while it was easy for her friend to stay asleep when turning in early, she found it hard to. No matter what if she went to bed before twelve she’d always end up waking up during some odd hour of the night.
A sound came from down the hallway catching her attention. It was a repeated thudding and while usually she wouldn’t go chasing after mysterious noises, she knew it couldn’t be anything too bad. Sam had the security on this house underlock and she had seen how beefy his security guards were.
Once she reached the end she turned the knob from the room in which the sound was coming from. Gasping quietly, she opened the door a little wider trying to be as quiet as she could. The sight in front of her was absolutely heavenly. There was Sam, shirtless, in nothing but a pair of grey joggers beating the hell out of a punching bag. His jabs were sharp and powerful causing the chains to rattle with each blow to the sack. Goosebumps formed all over her skin at the sight of his power. If he could do that to a punching bag, what could he do with her?
All the  what ifs invaded her mind causing her to rub her thighs together hungrily in thought. She hadn’t even noticed that Sam had moved until the door she was standing in closed, leaving the two of them in the room together. He offered her a smile, a yawn interrupting his incoming words. His arms flexed above his head giving her an even better view of his muscles. It was an even grander sight than she had imagined when she saw him clothed earlier.
“Can’t sleep?” she shook her head at his question, sitting on the bench in front of him. “ ‘S alright. Why don’t you help me train then? Try to get me to the ground. Come on, don’t be shy, didn’t seem like you were earlier.”
———————————-
As expected, (Y/n) couldn’t get him to the ground at all! Time and time again he had managed to get her down but she couldn’t complain too much. Being this close to a hot and sweaty man? Having him touch and feel all over her body? She could get used to this.
“You know, for an old man you’re pretty strong!” (Y/n) was out of breath, sweat dripping down her chest. Letting out a deep breath she held a hand out for Sam to shake. He eyed it before taking it causing her to give him a devilish grin. Within a few seconds she had dragged him close, sweeping a foot under his leg. He fell like she intended but what she hadn’t done was calculating him keeping a hold on her wrist. The two both fell with a thud, Sam hitting the mat while the not so sneaky woman fell on top of him. She pushed herself up, hands flush against his chest as she straddled him, looking down at him. Her eyes widened at the feeling of two large hands gripping her ass, eyes trailing up to his.
“Didn’t you say you were having trouble sleeping? I think I got something that can put you right to sleep.” was this really happening? Was she hearing him correctly? That thought didn’t last long at the feeling of his dick poking at her through the fabric of his sweats. His dark eyes were practically black from how blown out his pupils were. Leaning forward, their lips connected.
The kiss was slow and sensual like the vibes he gave off. His lips were soft, the taste of coffee mixed with his natural taste. As the kiss grew more heated, Sam flipped them over, laying the girl gently on the mat. He continued with a trail of kisses, from her neck, collarbone, his fingers massaging the flesh of her hips. His lips gave extra love to her chest, licking and sucking upon the brown sensitive buds.
His open mouth trail of kisses slowly became sucking the further and further he got towards the center of her legs.
“C-careful. Don’t leave- don’t leave marks our else Miyaki might see.” she warned, causing him to pause momentarily. Lifting his head he chuckled some, brushing his thumb against the sensitive area of skin near her upper thigh. Whether or not it’d be visible in summer attire was something she wouldn’t know until she got dressed the next day. Massaging her legs, he leaned up near her face, softly caressing her cheek.
“You’re a smart girl, (Y/n). I’m sure you can figure it out.” she huffed but remained quiet, a pout prominent on her face. A large hand came to rest around her throat, squeezing lightly. “ I’d advise you to lose the attitude if you wanna go to bed satisfied.” She shuddered at his words but remained quiet, anxiously awaiting what he’d do next.
From the looks of it, he wasn’t sure where he was going to take it next. He was eager, lust clouding his brain and thoughts. Sam was now acting on primal instincts alone. He reached for her sleep shorts, peeling them off before tossing them to the side. Keeping the eye contact they had, he guided two of his fingers into the mess that was her cunt. Despite barely touching her, her pussy was beyond creamy, juices dripping out the further he stuck his fingers in. Long, thick digits made their way into her with ease.
He made sure their eyes were connected, his stern eyes in a narrow assertion of dominance while her own (e/c) ones were glossed over as she fought to keep them open and focused on him. It was an agreement that didn’t need to be spoken: her eyes were to be on him at all times. Every so often her eyes would jitter close as his fingers nudged against her spot but still she persisted, wanting to be good for him, to prove herself.
Sam removed his fingers, guiding them up to the girl’s lips. Her eyes widened, gagging around the digits as waiting tears finally fell. Once he was satisfied he removed them, positioning himself between her legs. Using his thumbs he spread apart her pussy lips, salivating. Her cunt was so plush, clit engorged and pulsating, just aching to be touched.
He wrapped his lips around her clit, sucking on it as he swirled his tongue. The girl reached instantly, hands clinging to his head the best that she could as her hips arched forward. This is something Sam usually wouldn’t fly with but he’d allow it this once. An airy moan fell from her lips as she continued to buck against his face, pelvis jerking rapidly at the feeling of his fingers lightly teasing her around her hole.
(Y/n) felt her entire body buzzing with pleasure. Her hands searched for anything to cling onto as her orgasm approached her, making its way to her faster and faster. An overstimulated whimper left her lips followed by her slick coating the older man’s face and mouth which he gladly accepted, the most sinful of noises leaving him as he cleaned her up. Her clench eyes relaxed as her body fell limp to the mat, chest heaving in heavy breaths.
“You tapping out already, princess?” she lifted her head from the ground, propping herself up onto her elbows as she gave him a glare. Kicking him onto his back, she climbed into his lap, aligning the tip of his cock with her entrance, bits of his precum mixing with the reminisce of her arousal.
“Not even close old man.” they both shared a loud groan as she sunk down onto him in one swift movement. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she tried to gain a hold on him, wanting to get the upper hand. However Sam was just so…large. His girth stretched her out greatly, the head of his cock just barely kissing her cervix causing her to let out a pathetic whimper. Sam chuckled some, wrapping his hands around her waist, guiding her own to rest around his shoulders.
“It’s okay baby, I’ve got you. You gotta relax though or it’s gonna be a toughy for both of us.” she nodded lazily at his words, tightening her grip on his shoulders, head under his chin. He rubbed at her back gently, feeling as her muscle began to untense around him. “Better?”
“Y-yes just move. Wanna feel you.” he placed a kiss to the top of her head before beginning to thrust, letting out a small ‘fuck’ under his breath. Despite her being fully relaxed and prepped, she was still so tight around him. After a bit of trial and error, he had finally managed to find a good rhythm but even with as patient as he was he couldn’t hold back any longer.
Locking his arms around the base of her spine, he gripped her in his arms, trading out his slow and deep thrust for a series of fast and shallow ones. The sounds she was making for him only egged him on as she babbled and drooled on about how she couldn’t take it, how good it felt.
“O-oh god! ‘M not gonna la-last any longer! Wanna cum with you! Wanna- can we, pl-please!” she cried out, tears mixing with the mess of drool on her face.
“Yeah? Let’s cum together then.” he agreed, not having much left in him himself. With a few final powerful thrust, Sam came deep inside of her, (Y/n) following right along with him. The girl fell forward into his chest, the both of them panting, holding each other covered in sweat. She let out a soft chuckle, looking up at the man who was already staring down at her.
(Y/n) had originally thought it was gonna be a long summer, but this was way different from what she had in mind. She was fucked.
Metaphorically and Physically.
(Y/n) took a step back and looked at her hard work. She was quite proud of herself she got it all done in a timely manner as well, two hours less than she thought. Clapping from behind startled her. Spinning around, she found Bucky. He seemed proud as well.
"I thought it would take you longer"
"I did as well. I forgot that one, I'm semi-retired/ part-time, and two, I can't keep as many private medical files here as I want as it's not " secure' "
Bucky gave side-eye, but she waved him off, not giving him a reason to show her how secure the place truly was. She was not giving him an excuse to pull out another hidden arsenal. She was already aware of the one in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom she wished to remain ignorant of the rest. Although she knew he would reveal every spot to her by the end of the month.
"You're missing something," she turned, looking at him confused. Stepping forward, Bucky pulled something from behind him and set it on her desk amongst her knick-knacks. It was a family photo. Their picnic at the park. It even had an adorable flower frame.
"awe," she cootied
"And now Your office is complete."
"Actually, there is one thing that we forgot," she said as she pulled him to her desk. At first, he was a bit confused and let her pull him along, but he quickly got the memo when she plopped her little ass on that desk, spread her legs, and lifted her dress. " we got to christen it," she giggled as she unlatched his belt. He stopped her.
"As much as I'd love to, and yes, darling, I would very much love to. " She started to pout. He kissed her pout " we still have work to do, and our daughter and husband are still wondering about. I'd hate for a specific one of those two walks in on us."
(Y/n) groaned, she really wanted it but she knew he was right. Adulting sucked. "Later?"
"Yeah, you can have us both later, preferably when she's out of the house, I promise" She continued to pout and re-buckle his belt. Hopping off the desk, she leaned into him. He groaned as she cupped a feel of him and squeezed.
"I'll hold you to that."
And with that, her peppy smile returned, and she was off to find their daughter.
Bucky looked down at his new problem and sighed. Maybe he should have taken her offer.
-
"Hi," (Y/n) poked her head into Ash's room. "Oh, this is amazing," she said as she looked around her room. "Oh, I love this," she said, approaching the wall next to her bed it had hanging fairy lights as well as hanging pictures of friends and family ( she ignored that the wall contained 70% Peter, The guys would definitely 'enjoy' this").
"I'm printing more, and the others are sending me more. Those I don't put on the wall, I'm going to put in our photo album," Ash said as she motioned to the collection of photos untouched on her desk.
"Can I see?"
Flipping through the photos, one could easily see how the family had grown with their time together. See how Ash has changed, no longer tensed and scared but relaxed and comfortable. And talking more too. Of course, her mouth wasn't running a mile a minute, but she could hold a conversation better than before. One could see them becoming a family over time within these photos. And you could also see Ash and Peter slowly getting closer, that was going to be a cutie relationship when it happened.
"really making it all your own."
"I'd like it to be," Ash said as she took her Pikachu plushie and hugged it tight. She was just so adorable (Y/n) rushed around the bed to squeeze her tight and drown her in kisses. Ash screamed and giggled as her mother suffocated her with love.
" I Love you," (Y/n) whispered, and her breathless daughter simply nodded. It was until (Y/n) was at her door about to leave did she speak.
" I love you too".
-
The house was officially done. Furniture was set, Pictures up, everything in its place, and now the security system was in place. This house was now a home.
Bucky sighed as he entered the bedroom. Sitting on the edge of the bed, he took off his shirt. It was then that he realized and began to appreciate the layout of their bathroom.
The bathroom was right in front of the bed, and right in front of the door was their large jacuzzi bathtub which currently held his beautiful wife and husband in a bubble bath. Who were both in an affectionate embrace.
"I love this bathroom," Bucky said as he leaned on the door frame watching his lovers. He watched as his husband took his wife's nipples into his mouth. She moaned as he bites down slightly leaning back she saw Bucky standing there.
"Come join us," she said as she pushed Steve away slightly and made the come hither motion at Bucky. "Let's christen the tub"
"Really couldn't wait, could you" he kicked off his shoes and unbuckled his belt.
"we did, we waited all day," she said as she moved to lean over the edge of the tub. "Don't want to wait anymore" She pulled him forward by his belt. Pulling it off and tossing it across the bathroom and unzipping his pants.
"Eager, aren't we"
"Like she said, we've been waiting all day," Steve said as he pulled Bucky's pants to his knees.
"Two against one. Give us what we want," she said, kissing his thigh
"Take it"
-
(Y/n) grabbed the base of his dick, and Steve kissed the tip of his dick. She came up and licked his length. Their lips met, kissing the tip. Bucky bit his lip as he watched Steve take his length in his mouth. He moaned when (Y/n) tugged on his balls.
She stood up, dripping wet, and pulled him into a kiss he moaned as Steve swallowed around him. "feels good, doesn't it" (Y/n) whispered against his lips.
Steve pulled away, taking (Y/n) with him she giggled as he pulled her back down into the water.
Bucky kicked his pants off the rest of the way and got into the tub. He cursed when the water overflowed. (Y/n) laughed "it's okay, it's okay. We'll clean up later. Just kiss us now" He did, first kissing her and then him. He returned to kiss her and put her on the tub's edge.
"I want a taste," Bucky said, spreading her legs. She closed her eyes and leaned back. He kissed the sensitive spots of her thighs she became breathless as he slid his tongue through her folds and whined as he kissed her clit. She tugged on his hair, pulling him closer she wanted more. She moaned as he thrust his tongue into her entrance, nosing and rubbing her clit.
She was pleasantly startled when he moaned against her. She opened her eyes to find Steve behind Bucky, kissing along his neck and shoulders, his hands disappearing under the water and bubbles. By the way his arms were moving and with Bucky's noises, it was clear what was happening underneath the waves.
Unable to focus with his tongue Bucky switched to his fingers, slipping three fingers inside of her and pumping them up at a sloppy pace.
(Y/n) pushed his hand away and lowered herself into the water. Leaning over Bucky, she pulled Steve into a heated kiss. Slipping her tongue into his mouth she could still taste their husband on his tongue. She moans against his lips, and she pressed her chest against Buckys. Her hands join Steve's pumping him and fondling his balls.
Bucky moaned and whimpered. Between them tugging his underwater and the moans in his ears he was quickly unraveling.
"Fuck, Fuck I'm going to .....I'm -what?!" Steve and (y/n) both pulled their hands away "why?!" Bucky cried breathlessly, heaving.
"Relax, we're just moving this to the bedroom, " Steve said, kissing him.
"Come on, let us christen the bedroom," (Y/n) said as she stood up and let out the water.
-
Steve was the first to wake up. Waking up to the sound of chirping birds and the light from the window shining over the sheets. Next to him was Bucky, and on the other side of him, (y/n) lay on his chest. Steve watched as his wife and husband slept peacefully, beautifully. Quietly and skillfully, he crawled out of bed and found his sketch pad. Taking a seat in the corner of the room, he began to sketch the beauty in front of him.
-
Sometime later, Bucky woke up feeling around the bed, he found his wife but not his husband. Feeling around the bed some more, he felt a piece of paper Picking up the paper and opening his eyes, he sees a sketch of him and his wife.
"What is it" (Y/n) asks, sleep still evident in her voice.
" It appears our husband has been up for a while." He shows her the sketch.
It's of them, (Y/n) curled up into his side, a hand on his chest over his heart. Bucky had one arm around her shoulders, holding her close, the other laid out as if waiting for Steve's return. The sheets were up to their waist, and the shading showed the light.
"How does he do that?" (Y/n) asked
"I don't know"
"I'm going to start a scrapbook of all his loose sketches." (Y/n) says, taking the sketch from him. Kissing his chest, she got up, dressed, and tucked the sketch away.
-
"what's happening here?" (Y/n) asked as she entered the kitchen Bucky followed her.
"Breakfast," Ash said, showing her plate of pancakes. " Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit. Which are blueberries, strawberries, oranges, or bananas if you want."
(Y/n) came up, kissing her daughter's forehead, and hugged her tight.
"Thank you, both of you," Bucky said as he pulled Steve from the stove and kissed him.
"just wanted a nice breakfast in our new home," Steve shrugged as he plated the food. "Come on let us eat"
(Y/n) stood back, arms wrapped around herself, watching her husbands and daughter finish setting up the table and plating food before taking their seats. Bucky was complimenting them on the food. Ash looked quite happy to explain all she had done to help.
She listened as her Buckt gushed over their daughter's cooking, and Steve praised her skills in the kitchen and asked when they'd see more of her cooking. (Y/n) sat down with them.
Ash's smile, Steve and Bucky's laughter. The smell of a home-cooked meal and the warmth of a family. It truly was a dream she had never dreamt. And looking out the window, she giggled. They had a picket white fence.
"You got that look on your face again," Bucky commented, and he brought her hand to his lips for a kiss. It was a face of pure joy. She'd sit there and smile and giggle at whatever triggered it. Something they had gotten used to in the last few weeks. An expression of full satisificaltion and happiness. And it seemed right now that the fence had triggered it.
"Hey?" everyone turned to her " Later ...can we make apple pie?"
After the whole ordeal at uni, Lianna decided that she needed some time alone, so she told the boys to go on without her. Truth is, she was scared to go home like a mess only for Johnny to see her. She didn't want her brother to worry about her, so she decided to kill some time in the park until Johnny left for his job after sundown.
Limping a little, Lianna managed to walk till the bench with great difficulty before finally relaxing and sitting down on one of the park bench. After calming her breathing, Lianna stared at her clothes and her hands. Her once, clean, and pretty varsity jacket was now looking like it had gone through two world wars. Yes, it was a bit of an exaggeration, but maybe it was her because of her emotional state right now.
She dusted her jacket and pants before taking out her phone. The sight of her new phone decorated with a cute white phone case paired with a matching pastel brown bear popsocket and a phone charm with beads that spelled Riize made Lianna smile for the first time after today's happenings.
Was it the fact that Riize got her all these goodies or the fact that they were more loyal than her previous friends that made Lianna feel more love for the seven boys? It was definitely the latter. Despite getting beaten up badly, they still stuck by her. It made her happy and kind of sad, too. Lianna wished that Jisung and the rest did the same for her. Too traumatized by the situations that were happening, a new wave of pain filled her body as she pressed a video she hadn't watched for a long while. Luckily, her Sim card and memory card didn't get destroyed, so she still had everything .
In the background of the video, the soulful sounds of the piano could be heard as an excited and young Jisung held a bouquet of roses while the others held confetti poppers and a cake that said 'Happy Lia Day !' They were preparing to surprise Lianna for her 13th birthday.
Lianna's
I chuckled dryly as I watched the video. They switched off the lights and busted into my practice room, singing happy birthday as 13 year old Lianna broke down into tears. Not wanting to watch further, I ended the video and pressed back quickly before sighing and putting on my headphones to listen to some music. Suddenly, Johnny's name shone through the phone making me panic a bit before picking up the call.
"Hello? Lia, hey... I forgot to send you a text earlier." Johnny said making me furrow my brows.
"What text?" I asked as he laughed nervously.
"Are you home yet? I actually have some work in Busan, I'll be back in a week. I forgot to call you so I thought I'd text you but I forgot. The house key is with the landlord." He said, making me internally let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm out with the guys." I lied as he sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness, remember, the key is with the landlord. I'll be back next week so I left dinner in the fridge and some money for you in case you don't want to cook. You know what, you can just get takeout. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier." He said making me shake my head, not like he sees it though.
"It's fine, I'll manage. Don't overwork yourself." I said as he chuckled.
"I won't, but you take care, alright? You can let Shotaro and Sungchan sleep over if you don't wanna be alone." He said as I hummed in response.
"Okay then." I said when he hummed.
"Hey, you alright? You sound really tired." He said making me panic as I chuckled.
"Yup, I'm fine. We did a lot of stuff at uni today... I'm just tired. I think I'm just burnt out." I said making him gasp.
"Well, that's not good. You sure you're okay?" He questioned making me groan internally.
"Yeah... Oh hey, John... can I just not go to uni for the week? I'm just really burnt out. If I rest it out... I'll be able to focus in class more." I said and bit my nails, scared as to what he'll say.
"Take all the time you need, I know how it feels when we're burnt out. You just rest and sleep it off until you feel better, alright? I'll send the university an email for you leave." He said making me panic.
"It's fine, I'll do it myself. You have a lot of work yourself. I'll send it now and rest." I said as he sighed.
"You really need to learn how to accept people's help... but if you say so. You take care, I'll be back in a week alright?" He said as I hummed in response.
"Take care, come back soon." I said making him chuckle.
"After I'm done, I'll take the first train back." He said in a loving tone.
After ending the call, I put on my headphones and began the trip back home.
I stopped in the middle of the road because of the pain in my abdomen and my legs. I sighed as I looked forward. My apartment was right there, and yet here I was. I sucked it up and gave myself a little pep talk before standing up straight and forcing myself to walk.
"You need help?" I turned to see Zhong Chenle making me widen my eyes before continuing to walk.
"No, thanks." I said making him sigh.
"You sure? You look like you need a piggyback ride. I'll get you to your door." He said, making me shake my head.
It sounds so tempting... shut up, Lianna! Him and his friends are the reason you're like this! But then again... he never did anything to you... and he did give you a drink during the university cleaning drive.
"Look... I'm sorry for everything my stupid friends did. And I'm even more sorry that I didn't do anything. I don't like making a scene... but because of my stupidity, you got even more injured." He said, making me turn to look at his face to search for any signs of insincerity. I sighed in defeat when I didn't find any signs of insincerity in his face.
"You sure? The elevator isn't working... I live on the 20th floor." I said in hopes to scare him away, but he smiled and kneeled in front of me.
"I inhaled three mega sized burgers and a big bowl of ramen today, so it'll help me burn my calories. Get on." He said, making me finally sigh in defeat before getting on his back.
"I'm warning you, I'm quite heavy." I said, making him chuckle.
"Oh please, you're not even half my warm-up weights. I might look like this, but I actually lift weights and work out a lot." He said making me chuckle.
"I can see that." I say sarcastically.
"Does that mean you forgive me?" Chenle asked as I sighed before tugging his hair.
"Ouchh!" He winced making me chuckle.
"Now you're forgiven." I said making him chuckle.
×××
Jisung's
I sighed as I watched Chenle giving Lianna a piggyback. After finding out the truth, I felt devastated and ashamed at my behavior towards Lianna back then and now. I walked home with slumped shoulders as I drank my coke.
"I really am gullible after all..." I mumbled to myself as I walked home.
After reaching home, I locked myself in my bedroom as I got on the bed and went through some of my old high school pictures.
"Park Jisung from high school... I became so popular so quickly that... the popularity and fame swallowed me whole until... until I became the Park Jisung I am now. If only... I had said no." I whispered before putting my phone down and lying face down on my pillow.
When I was about to start high school, Chaeyeon had gotten me to change my hair and my fashion. Although my style is different from how it was back then... I still am the boy who agreed to change myself to become popular. Would we have been friends if I didn't believe Chaeyeon and change myself?
I sigh and look at my pictures of when I was in middle school.
"He was so much happier back then..." I mumbled to myself as I looked at the girl with big transparent glasses and braces next to me.
Feeling tears brim my eyes, I quickly buried my face on my pillow as my hands clenched the pillow.
×××
Lianna's
I sighed as I lay down on my bed after a long day. After changing into my pj's and washing my face, I looked at my bruised face. Letting out a breath, I looked down on the sink before forcing myself to finish my night routine. Not wanting to eat tonight, I just sat on my bed in hopes of falling asleep. After miserably failing, I ended up sitting in a home studio with headphones as I blasted whatever music that came up.
"I'm scared to go to back ..." I mumbled, not hearing my own voice as I put my head down on my keyboard and closed my eyes.
I groaned as music blasted through my headphones, waking me up as I slightly opened my eyes to see the sunlight peaking through my blinds, making me open my eyes. I had fallen asleep in the home studio again.
"Gosh... I need to stop doing this." I said in an annoyed tone as I removed my headphones and stood up to look in the mirror.
"Great! It's just wonderful!" I said sarcastically as I grazed my fingers through my keyboard imprinted skin.
I let out a sigh as I ran my fingers through my hair before brushing and holding my hair in place with a claw clip.
"No class for a week, time to use that to my full advantage." I mumbled as I walked downstairs. Opening the fridge, I gasp as I see the food Johnny left for me... to have at dinner last night.
"Well... I guess it's breakfast now." I mumbled as I warmed up the curry, humming to the song I played from my phone while waiting.
Gradually, my hums became quiet as I stared at my reflection on the window by the sink. My eyes remained glued on the image of my face, the face that I hate so much. My glasses caused me to hate the reflection even more, making me remove my glasses.
"If I had switched to contacts... would I have been more accepted?" I asked myself before I heard the curry burning making me gasp before quickly closing the gas.
"Great... it dried up..." I mumbled before letting my head hit the counter as I groaned.
After eating rice and seaweed for breakfast, I dragged myself upstairs to my bed before sticking there for the rest of the day, binge watching some random kdrama while eating some of the snacks Johnny left.
I roll my eyes and sigh after hearing someone ring the doorbell and knock on the door for the fifth time. Lazily getting up, I headed downstairs and pressed the video button to see who's outside.
Upon realizing who it is I quickly press the audio button.
"Leave." I said in a cold voice as the person sighed and kept knocking.
"Let me in, I wanna talk." Haechan said, making me narrow my eyes as I pressed the audio button.
"Not me. Your actions were enough for me to know what type of person you are, so kindly leave me alone with my kdrama and food." I said as he groaned.
"You didn't come to uni as well... come on... I just wanna talk." He said, making me scoff before pressing the audio button.
"Don't expect me to come tomorrow as well or the day after!" I exclaimed before turning to walk away when Haechan's words caught my attention.
"Jisung is here too... we wanna apologize. " I clenched my fist as I opened the door roughly. Eyeing Haechan first before eyeing Jisung with dark eyes.
"You... and your stupid little gang of friends can bully me as much as you want... I'd rather get beaten to death than speak with you two." I said in a cold tone.
Jisung's
After not seeing Lianna at uni, I got worried as guilt started to eat me from the inside. Ever since I found out the truth, I've been extremely sad and wanted to speak to Lianna, but since she didn't come, I was feeling anxious. Haechan must've been feeling the same thing since he waited for me after class outside the dance studio and told me that he was gonna go and apologize to her.
I decided to go with him to her apartment to talk. After knocking for a long time, she finally spoke, her voice making me happy and sad because of the dark and cold tone she spoke in. After pissing her off by accident, she came out and stared down at us before speaking.
"You... and your stupid little gang of friends can bully me as much as you want... I'd rather get beaten to death than speak with you two." She said in a cold tone.
My eyes glossed as I noticed all the red and blue bruises around her face as she spoke. I wanted to say something, but at that time, I didn't have the courage to utter a single word.
"We were wrong... and we're so sorry." Haechan said making her chuckle.
"As you should. You see these? Your friends did this to me... do you even realise the pain that a single punch from someone like Jeno can give to a person like me? I got multiple punches and slaps thrown on me. My body is in so much pain... almost feels like I'm dying... but the pain you guys gave me... is more than these physical ones." She said in a shaky tone, making me look down, unable to look at the bruises around her eyes and face.
"I'm thankful that Johnny isn't here... my brother is too good... he doesn't deserve to see me like this, and nor does he deserve to know how evil you people really are." She said as Haechan stepped forward.
"I know... but... we really are sorry... you didn't deserve to be treated like that-" She cut his words with a sigh.
"You think... I don't know that? You guys are so insufferable... leave." She commanded, making me panic as I looked up at her.
"Lia..." I trailed when the door in front of us opened to reveal a bruised and battered Seunghan covered in bandaids. He looked different due to the bruise on his eye.
"Here to cause more damage?" He asked in a monotone and low voice as his face remained blank.
"We're only here to-" Seunghan cut my words while staring down at me.
"Apologize? Saying sorry, won't cut it. Lia... get in." Seunghan said, looking at Lia, who listened without a thought making Haechan hold her hand.
"Let go of her hand." We turned to see Sungchan and Eunseok.
"Yah, we're here to talk to Lia... not you." Haechan spoke in a warning tone, making Seunghan let out a dry chuckle.
"Oh, are you? Isn't that cute. But you see... she doesn't want to talk to you. We've all had our dreams of university crushed by your stupid gang... and we've had enough. Leave before we let out our anger and grief on you two." Seunghan warned, making me grab Haechan's hand after making eye contact with Seunghan.
"They're serious..." I mumbled to Haechan, who looked around at them before letting out a breath and walking away.
Riize and Lia have finally had enough!
Skating on Thin Ice - Chapter 37 - Part 1
Tumblr media
*Warning - Adult Content*
Elijah Ellis
It was the day before the tournament and I had just finished packing my things when my phone started ringing.
My mind filled with dread as I lifted it off of my nightstand but I was pleasantly surprised when it was Fox that was calling and not my mother.
"Hey," I answered, sitting down on my bed.
"Come over," he replied.
My lips quirked up slightly.
"Why?"
"Because," Fox said instantly.
"Because why?"
He let out a long sigh.
"You're going to make me say it?"
I laughed.
"Say what?"
"I miss you..."
I felt my face flush at his words.
I had to remind myself that we weren't actually together and that I needed to stop letting his words effect me but it wasn't that easy.
"Okay," I said.
"I'll come over."
I could practically hear the smile in his tone.
"See you soon?"
As soon as I hung up the phone, I headed to the shower.
I was only in there for a few minutes before I dried off and got dressed.
Leaving my room with my new car key, I bumped face first into Joshua in the hallway.
"Why are you in such a rush?" he asked me, lifting an eyebrow as he studied my face.
"I'm gonna use the car," I said, holding up the key.
"If you're not using it, that is."
"Yeah, go ahead," Joshua replied with a shrug.
I knew Joshua was dying to ask me questions, even though he had made the promise to keep his mouth shut about it.
To ensure he kept his promise, I turned away from him to walk down the stairs before he could say anything.
"Are you going to Fox's?" he asked as he followed me toward the stairs.
"Joshua," I warned, looking at him with narrow eyes.
"You said you were keeping your mouth shut."
"I know, I know," he agreed with a sigh, shoving his hand through his hair.
"Are you though? That's all I want to know, I swear."
I showed him an unamused expression.
"Yes. I'm going to Fox's."
"Okay," he replied.
"Have fun."
I snickered at his words and his eyes widened.
"I mean, uh," Joshua stuttered.
"Not too much fun?"
"Joshua."
"I mean... I mean..." he let out a heavy breath.
"I don't know what you guys do."
"I'm leaving now," I said, shaking my head at him.
After letting Dad know where I was headed, I left the house and started the journey toward Fox's place.
*******
Once I arrived, I parked on the road outside his house and made my way up to the front door.
Fawn answered the door after I knocked with a distressed look on her face.
"What's wrong?" I asked, taken back by her expression.
"There's a bit of an issue," she said.
"Maybe you can calm Fox down."
"Calm him down?" I wondered, stepping into the house, my eyes darting around the room in search for Fox.
Fawn led me into the living room where I saw Fox's dad, Leo and Robin holding Fox and Wren back from each other while Vanessa and Raven stood in the middle.
Fox's face looked angrier than I had ever seen it.
His jaw was tightly set, looking as if his teeth would break if he pressed them together any harder.
His eyes were dark and formed into slits as he looked straight through his sister and mother over to Wren.
I could see a slight bruise forming on his cheek.
"Fox?" I called out.
His gaze immediately turned to me, his eyes widening slightly as if he forgot I was going to be coming over.
He shook himself out of Robin's grip and motioned for me to follow him up the stairs without a word.
I took a moment to look over at Wren.
He had quite a few bruises forming on his face and his usual devious expression was gone.
He looked more defeated and distant.
As I went up the stairs, I heard Leo begin to question Wren but I stopped paying attention as soon as I was in Fox's room where he was pacing the floor and pulling at his hair.
"What happened?" I asked in a curious tone, shutting the door behind me.
"He knows," Fox replied in a raspy tone.
It didn't take much thought to figure out what he was talking about.
"Fox..."
He continued pacing around his room, not even looking over at me.
I noticed blood on his knuckles as his fist closed on his hair.
"Hey," I called out, walking over to him and grabbing his hand from his hair.
"You need to clean this."
"He knows," Fox repeated, this time looking at me with a vulnerable expression.
His eyes were wide with worry and a muscle in his jaw twitched as he tightened it.
"It's okay," I assured him.
"No it's not," he snapped, ripping his hand from mine, gazing at me with an expression mixed with anger and fear.
"He's gonna use it against me. He's gonna tell everyone."
"Fox," I said in an almost pleading tone, firmly grabbing onto his shoulders.
"Calm down. You don't know that."
"You don't know him, Elijah."
I didn't know him but I could tell by the look on his face downstairs that telling his brother about what he knew hadn't gone as he had hoped.
"Fox, he's know for years," I started.
"Don't you think he would have already done something if he was planning to?"
Fox looked at me with a skeptical expression.
"How do you know that?"
"Know what?"
"That he's know for years," Fox answered.
It didn't occur to me that Wren hadn't told Fox that he had told me about his knowledge.
I sighed.
"He told me."
"He told you?" he repeated back, stepping away from me.
"When the hell have you had time to talk to my brother about me?"
I sent him an irritated look.
"It's not like that and you know it. I saw him at the skating rink a few nights ago. He talked to me, not the other way around."
He scowled.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because that's exactly what he wanted," I exclaimed.
"He wanted me to do his dirty work for him."
Fox let out a frustrated groan, holding his head in his hands.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked in a wary tone.
"I'm not mad, I'm just pissed off," he mumbled.
I looked at him in confusion.
"Pretty sure those mean the same thing."
He looked up at me with a softened gaze, lowering his hands to his side.
"Not at you," he assured me.
I tried to hide my smile.
Fox's lips twitched like he was trying to hide his own before he sighed and looked down at his bloody knuckles.
"I could use some help cleaning this," he uttered, looking up at me with wide eyes that were feigning innocence.
I playfully rolled my eyes but couldn't hide my smile any longer as I gripped his hand and let him lead me to the bathroom.
"Why did you punch him?" I asked as I cleaned his knuckles with a cloth and soft soap.
Fox shrugged.
"He made me mad."
I shook my head at him, drying his hand and searching through the medicine cabinet for bandages.
He leaned down and opened the door under the sink, pulling out a box and handing it to me.
I wrapped a bandage around his knuckles and washed my hands.
"Are your parents going to punish you or something?" I asked once we were back in his bedroom.
"I don't know," he admitted, lying down on his bed and pulling me on top of him.
We stayed in that position for a while, my head resting on Fox's chest while he ran his uninjured hand through my hair.
He left a long kiss on the top of my head before letting out a deep sigh.
I moved my head slightly, trying to look up at him.
"Hey," I said, grabbing his attention.
"Hmm?"
I didn't answer him.
Instead, I sat up and straddled his waist, causing him to shoot me a look of confusion.
I leaned down and kissed his neck, feeling his body relax at the way my lips moved over his skin.
"Elijah..."
"Do you want me to stop?" I asked against his skin.
"Not particularly."
I answered him by continuing to kiss his neck, moving up to his jaw.
He let me kiss him for a few more moments before he grabbed my head in his hands and forced me to look at him.
"I thought you said you weren't okay with distractions," he commented, lifting his eyebrows in question.
He was right but at that moment, I couldn't find it in me to care.
"Do you want me to distract you?" I asked, studying his face as he pondered on the question.
"Because I want to."
He took a deep breath, the dilemma in his mind evident by the look on his face.
Instead of answering, he pulled my face down to his and grabbed my lips in a kiss.
We remained in sync, in a quick rhythm before I detached my lips from his and kissed down his jaw and his neck.
My hands moved down to the waistline of his jeans and fumbled with the button.
His breath hitched as I undid his jeans and pulled them down his legs.
"Elijah," Fox called out, causing me to look up at him.
"Are you sure?"
"If you're sure."
"Okay."
That was all he had to say for me to continue, pulling his boxers off and putting my head between his thighs in my efforts to distract him.
Stone Cold
Tumblr media
“Man your girl is too nice for her own being.”
“What are you on about Druski?”
“Look at her over there being a bit too friendly with Urban.” Looking up Jack’s eyes squinted watching how Urban spun you around like a ballerina before crashing back into his chest.
“He’s just showing her how to dance Druski, that’s all so please stop trying to make something out of nothing.”
Druski raised his hands in defense and made his signature alright but that’s on your face.
“All I’m saying is watch your girl and watch your best friend, I know everyone thinks Y/N is some type of sweetheart but it’s the sweetheart ones you have to watch out for.”
The thing about you is you never saw anything wrong in the way Urban and You acted because he was like a brother to you and while Jack was busy with interviews or either soundcheck and shows you’d spent a majority of your time with Urban.
“Baby I’m kinda free tonight you’d think we can go out and do a little stroll around Boston.” Jack asked from behind you.
“Oh well I kinda told Urban I’d go with him to this ramen shop that’s near the hotel, you can tag along if you want Jack.” You spoke softly and turned your head up to Jack and smiled.
Maybe he was overthinking it and Druski got in his head a bit but you never called him Jack it was always baby or babe never just Jack.
“Actually it’s okay you two go ahead I forgot I have to go over and rehearse for tomorrows show since it’ll be the last show for the US leg of tour.” You we’re about to protest and ask him what was wrong but Jack had already left leaving you feeling guilty.
“What’s his problem?”
“I’m not sure Urban but let’s go, I know you’re hungry.” He licked his lips and nodded.
“You know I’m always hungry I think I’ll get two bowls of ramen.”
“Two bowls?! I hope you’re the one paying and not me this time.” He smacked his lips and wrapped his arm around your shoulder you smiled and leaned into his side.
“You know you’ll never have to pay with me around shorty.”
“See they are messing around no friend wraps his arm around his other supposedly friend like that.” Druski and Neelam were hiding behind the curtain watching Urban and You.
“I think you’re right Druski but when is it a good time to tell Jack?”
“He didn’t believe me earlier when I told him about it, maybe we don’t have to tell him.”
“What do you mean?” Neelam knew Druski was onto something and she knew that something could either make or break Jack.
“Here’s what we’ll do.”
The next day
“Good morning Y/N.” Drama and Nemo greeted you that following morning, you smiled and gave them both a quick side hug.
“Good morning, after either of you seen Jack around?” After you got home last night from eating with Urban you felt bad seeing Jack laid out on bed, cuddling with your pillow so you knew today you’d have to make it up to him.
“Last time I checked he was busy going soundcheck with the new Dj.” You thanked them both, putting on your slides and grabbing one of Jack’s hoodies you headed you left the tour bus that was parked outside of the arena before going inside.
“She said I taste like that sweet, sweet, sweet semen.” Jack’s voice came from the stage, you smiled seeing the familiar head of curls.
“After first class let’s go right into little secret I’ll tell them a little story about how all these girls want me to put them in frost class and remain my little secret.”
“Sounds good Jack, is that your girl over there?” The dj pointed towards the direction you were coming from, Jack smiled seeing you in his hoodie that was way too big for you.
“What are you doing all the way out here baby?” He opened his arms and brought you into him, you moaned feeling the warmth of his body. He laughed his chest rumbling as he did.
“What, I can’t come out here and watch my man practice?” His cheeks turned a bright shade of pink.
“You can always watch me perform baby, maybe after if you’re free you wanna go get some coffee?” Pulling back from his embrace, you turned your head to the side.
“You don’t like coffee though Jack?”
“Well I’m always willing to try something new with you baby, now go sit down I don’t have time for distractions.”
“Yes sir.” You saluted him he grinned and pulled his arm back before giving your ass a slap, you yelped and turned back around and glared at him.
“Jack!! Don’t do that especially in front of other people.” You whispered.
“It’s all good Y/N I do that to my girl all the time it doesn’t matter if we have company around or not.”
“See there isn’t any issues now go sit down baby and let me finish what I gotta do.” You went and sat down in the front and smiled watching Jack practice, you were always in awe whenever he had that mic in his hands he always made sure to tell a story and put on a show that nobody will forget.
After rehearsals Jack and You went to go shower and get ready. While you were getting ready there was a knock at your door.
“Can I came on? Y’all aren’t doing anything I wouldn’t do are you?” Urban’s voice came from the other side of the door.
“Come in Urban I promise we aren’t doing anything, Jack’s just in the shower right now.”
“What’s up Urban?” Smiling you pat the spot next to him he sat down happily.
“What do you mean what’s up? Are you ready to go.” You looked at him with both of your eyebrows raised.
“What are you talking about Urban? I’m going to get coffee with Jack.” His mouth formed into an o shaped.
“Remember you said you’d go with me to check out this film place down the street, I need film for tonight’s show.” You forget you made plans with Urban you were so focused on Jack and trying to make things right with him that you completely forgot.
“I’m sorry Urban, how about we hit the coffee shop first and then the film shop I’m sure Jack won’t mind.” Smiling softly at Urban the two of you talked about anything and everything till Jack was done showering.
Eventually Jack came out and was drying his hair when he saw Urban laying on the bed with you.
“What’s going on here?” Urban bit his lip when he noticed the irritated look on Jack’s face.
“Well I forgot I had made plans with Urban today and I was going to see if it’s okay if he tags along with us as well?” Jack should’ve known this was coming he was grateful you got along with his best friend but you were his girl not Urban’s girl and sometimes he wanted to spend his free time alone with you, but he didn’t have it in him to tell you no.
“That’s fine with me baby, but Urban’s paying for our coffee.”
“What? That isn’t fair.” You laughed and hugged Jack, placing a small kiss to his lips.
“Thank you Jack for understanding, I love you baby.”
“I love you too baby girl.” Jack was a bit irritated that afternoon he tried his best not to show it because he saw how happy you were whenever a Urban was around and it would be selfish of him to take that happiness away.
Later that night
“Have any of you seen Urban? Jack’s going on in five minutes and we need him here to take pictures.” Neelam was getting frustrated by the minute there was no Urban and of course no you in site.
“I haven’t seen him since they came back from that coffee shop easier.” Nemo spoke, Druski and Neelam gave each other knowing looks.
“Well how good are you with a camera Nemo?”
“I mean I’d say I’m pretty good I guess.”
“Well pretty good is going to have to cut it, take this camera and get your ass out there we don’t have all day to sit around and wait for Urban to get back.”
“Did anybody find Urban? Or Y/N she isn’t answering any of my calls.” You weren’t answering why of Jack’s calls because you were out buying him and you matching rings.
There was a pandora shop near the venue and you placed an order to get each other matching rings, the rings felt like they costed an arm and a leg by the price but it was worth it.
“He’s definitely going to love that, it’ll suit him perfectly.” Urban and You admired the ring before placing it back in its box.
“I really hope he does.”
“He will Y/N trust me.”
Once Urban and You made it back to the venue you cursed seeing that Jack was already on stage you were hoping you’d be able to give him his ring before he went on but you’d just have to wait.
“Y/N, Urban where have you two been? Most importantly what’s your issue Y/N you’re with Jack not so that means you can’t disappear with him when you feel the need.”
Urban didn’t have the time or patience with Neelam he wasn’t sure what she was going on about but he wasn’t tolerating it.
“I’m not dealing with her, I’ll be right back Y/N.”
"What are you talking about Neelam." You looked around embarrassed now seeing everyone that was backstage had drawn their attention onto Neelam and You.
"You know what I'm on about Y/N. Lately Urban and You have became real close and it’s concerning. If the two of you are sleeping together you might as well come clean about it now.”
That's when Urban came from around the corner with a confused and irritated look on his face but it softened seeing the doleful and pained look on your face.
"What are you talking about? Why is Y/N crying.”
He immediately put down the drinks he went to get you and brought you into him, Urban was irritated and upset that Neelam was making you cry, you've always been overly sensitive but that's what Jack loved about you, being his sweet, kind and caring sweetheart there wasn't anything nor anybody he wanted more.
"Urban stop acting like you don't know what's going on clearly something is going on between Y/N and you."
Druski added in and honestly that took you by surprise, Druski and You grew up together and you thought he knew you better than that, it was clear that you thought wrong.
"You two honestly think I'm sleeping with Y/N like I would do something like that? I would never in my life hurt Jack in that type of way and for you both to sit up here and assume that I would is really hurtful."
"What else are we supposed to assume Urban you two are always around each other even on Jack's off days you never spend any time with him YIN."
You didn't mean to spend all your time with Urban but you got so use to Jack never really being around or being busy all day you'd wake up and automatically go where ever Urban was it was second nature.
"I think it's best you leave Y/N I really think it's for the best for Jack." Looking around the room between Neelam, Druski and Urban you weren't really sure what to do.
Looking to the side you smiled seeing Jack performing on the stage and joking with his fans. It hurt knowing that he wasn't the one talking to and talking these things out with you.
"I love you so much Atlanta! Tonight was amazing!”
"Tell the fans what you're about to do Jack? I mean you just finished performing in all these sold out shows." Jack's Dj asked him he smiled and looked back at the crowd.
"Honestly relaxing with my friends and family that's all I wanna do, but next year catch me laying out at some beach attempting to get a tan." The crowd laughed while you frowned. He never mentioned spending time with you, maybe Neelam was right.
Looking back at Neelam you gave her a half smile as well as Druski.
"If that's what you guys think is best then l'll leave." You spoke softly you didn't have any anger in your voice, you never did you.
"Y/N you aren't going anywhere." Urban protested and tried making you sit back down.
"Urban it's okay just call me later yeah? Neelam, Druski tell Jack I'm sorry.. for everything. Just make sure Jack gets this please Urban.” You placed the box of matching rings in Urban’s hands, you gave him one last hug before walking away from Jack and everything you’ve known for the past four years.
A few months later
“Y/N you’re coming to watch SNL with me and I don’t care.” Your friend Ariana was getting annoyed by each minute that went by, she didn’t understand why you didn’t want to come watch Saturday night live with her and see no other than Jack Harlow himself live and in person.
“I just don’t Ariana and I don’t really like Jack Harlow no way.” Lies they were all lies evert since that night in Atlanta he’s been the only thing on your mind.
“Pretty please Y/N you owe me anyways remember when I watched your cat while you went to visit your parents?” She pouted and gave you her best puppy dog eyes.
“Fine! But we sit far in the back I don’t want to sit that close.” She squealed and brought you into her nearly hugging you to death.
“Thank you so much! It’s going to be so much fun I can’t wait.” While Ari was over the moon with excitement about seeing her celebrity crush, you on the other hand weren’t has thrilled.
You weren’t really sure how you’d act when seeing Jack again, would break down in tears or would you simply not feel anything, you’ve spent many lonely nights crying over Jack, what hurt the most was that he didn’t fight for you, he didn’t fight for what the two of you had.
“Hello earth to Y/N are in there? We have to find our seats.” Ariana took your hand and guided the two of you around the set, you looked around in awe you were beyond proud of Jack, hosting snl was a huge deal.
“I wonder what kind of skits he’ll be doing.”
“Me too Ari I’m so excited .” You lied and sunk back into your seat, the quicker this night ended the better. What you didn’t know was that a certain somebody spotted you in the crowd.
“Is that Y/N?” Nemo whispered to 2fo who nodded.
“It sure is, should we tell Jack? He’s been looking for her since she dumped him.”
That night you left, Neelam and Druski explained to Jack that you had broken up with him. He was heartbroken but something deep down inside of him knew that didn’t sound like you.
You had to admit watching Jack on stage and watching him dress up in severely different outfits, including a tampon had you near tears in laughter.
“See I told you that you’d enjoy it.” Ari whispered and you shoo’d her off.
“Just this once you’re right.” After Jack finished all his skits it was time for him to give his final thank you speech.
He looked around in the crowd at all the unfamiliar faces and smiled, this was his life he never thought in a million years he’d be on snl but he was. He scanned the crown some more, waving at his parents and grandparents at top and that’s when he stopped seeing that familiar face in the crowd.
“Y/N.” He whispered.
“Y/N? Who’s Y/N.” Kenan asked Jack.
“My girl well she was my girl.” Kenan nodded in understanding.
“Go get your girl back Jack.”
“Fuck he spotted me.”
“Wha-What are you talking about? What are you doing. Who spotted you?” Ariana watched how you rushed to get your things together.
“I have to go Ariana, I’ll explain later I just have to go.” Before she could say anything else you were gone and so was Jack.
“Jack where are you going?” Neelam asked him while he ran past her.
“To save my relationship.”
“Fuck I can’t believe he saw me please God get me out of here quick.” You pulled out your phone and tried calling for a Uber but it was pouring down rain in the dark New York streets and you couldn’t see anything on your phone screen.
Huffing you just tossed your phone in your pocket and tried waving for a taxi but they drove right past you.
“Y/N? Is that you.” Jack’s voice came from behind you. Looking up at the sky you threw your hands up and sighed.
“Really? You had to make things worse.”
“What do you want Jack?” You were shivering your teeth started to chatter due to the coldness and the wetness of your clothes sticking to you.
“Uh maybe an explanation as to why you broke up with me.”
“I broke up with you? You gave up on us Jack, you didn’t fight for me or for what we had.”
“What are you talking about?”
“You know what I’m talking about Jack, back in Atlanta when Neelam told me that you felt that I was sleeping or messing around with Urban which isn’t true or happened.”
Jack’s mind was racing he didn’t understand what you were talking about. I mean sure he felt as if you were spending a bit too much time with Urban but he never assumed you two were sleeping together.
“Y/N, if you come back to my hotel room we can talk about this, please Y/N.”
“I’m really sorry but I just can’t.”
“Y/N please don’t do this.”
“I’m sorry.” Jack stood there in the rain as you walked away from him, something in him wanted to run after you and force you to listen to him but what was the point, your mind was made up and there was no changing that.
Jack reached his hand in his pocket and pulled out the box that had the rings inside of it, he kept that box with him the minute Urban gave them to him.
Said he callin’ from Atlanta, say he miss me. Well, well, well. - Mariah the scientist.
Hi! I'm back with another request and it is stu again(I'm sorry I'm in a phase rn) . In this request I was wondering if we could get Stu walking the reader from class to their locker, waiting for them at their locker, and then walking them to their next class. I know you've mentioned it before yk with Stu waiting for the reader and I'd just love to see the casual intimacy like in the last request (and also I hope you're feeling better after the break down you went through I'm not sure if this is a good time for request for you and if not thats so understandable I'm so sorry take your time, obviously if you do do this request I'd appreciate it but if you don't thats so okay i mainly sent this in bc you said you were in your Stu era and what kind of loyal reader would I be if I didn't indulge one of my favorite writers by tricking them into writing/talking about one of there current favorite characters :)
A/n hi, i'm feeling better now :)) i'm home so that always helps and done with school until close to late january so that definitely helps lol
also side note, i try to keep the appearance of the reader as vague as possible but at the beginning i do mention the reader having long enough hair to be tied back/up with a hair tie
this took a minute but i hope it’s worth it!!
----
You're practically bouncing on the balls of your feet once the bell rings, more akin to a little kid getting ready to run across the park than a student simply getting a few minutes to move from second period to third. It feels a little silly, especially when you intentionally keep your freshly graded test on top of your folder instead of tucking it away, but it's become a bit of a habit.
You'd think about breaking it if it wasn't for the fact that no one ever gives you a reaction quite like Stu. Sure, he's purposefully over the top, oversaturating his enthusiasm with his tone and teasing humor, but it's nice. Comforting in the way it never dwindles no matter how many things you bring up that you don't think anyone else would have the energy to even pretend to care about.
Out in the hallway, you adjust your hold on your math textbook and the plastic folder that's resting over it. Your head turns left, towards the row of lockers that he's always waiting near. Only, this time Stu's not there. Not looking through his actual locker or talking to Billy or Tatum or anyone. He's not there. At all.
You're more confused than you should be, it's not like Stu owes you his presence, but it is weird considering that this is the first time he's ever not been there since your tradition started. You frown, a little offended by his absence. Things with Stu are more intentional than he wants them to seem, a fact you picked up pretty quickly after meeting him, but something insecure within you twists at the thought that maybe he just forgot. Or decided he just didn't feel like it today.
Even though the hall is quickly flooding with teens, you crane your neck in the direction of Stu's second period. Stu has a tendency to stand out, too tall and too much of a force to blend in if one makes up their mind to look for him. It shouldn't be hard to--you bite your tongue to avoid yelping as some firm force settles on your upper hip.
You've heard too many stories, seen too many girls rant or tear up in the bathroom after some entitled guy thought it'd be funny to grab or grope under the guise of accidentally bumping into someone thanks to overcrowding. For a brief second, the contact feels pointed and wrong. You turn stiffly, eyes wide until they settle on a familiar grin.
Panic fading almost immediately, you exhale. "Stu."
When you don't melt , Stu drops his arms, offering you a halfhearted, "...Boo."
You roll your eyes, half stepping back. "You scared me."
“Should’ve been paying more attention,” he mumbles, expression slightly scolding.
A retort about how you were just looking for him because he’s always waiting across the hall rises and dies on your tongue. There’s no normal way to explain that, and even if the fact that you were waiting for him wasn’t totally mortifying, your sure he’d find a way to tease you. One of those jokes about how he didn’t realize the two of you hadn’t gotten so serious and since when were you such a ball and chain?
So instead of saying anything like that, you tilt your chin up, “You snuck up on me on purpose and we both know it.”
“I’ll make it up to you later.” The suggestive wink earns him an eye roll.
“Sure,” you mumble pointedly, “Guess what?” The question is rhetorical enough that you don’t even have to wait a full beat to answer, “We got our tests back!”
You lift your paper, careful not to cover the red A+ circled on the first page. Stu’s mouth falls open briefly in a look that’s just a little too amazed for a reaction to a math exam. “Wow,” he takes the packet from you, leafing through it without taking it in fully, “This is some complex shit, too.”
He sets the test back down over your folder before ruffling your hair in a way that’s nearly too affectionate, harsh enough to make your head move at an angle that strains your neck. “Harvard bound.”
You brush him off with a barely contained smile, softly pushing against his hands before attempting to smooth out the mess he made. “Okay--knock it off, I actually liked how my hair looked today.”
“It’s not fair that you’re the smartest person in the room and the prettiest.” The blatant compliments without their usual layers of implication and subtle-not-so-subtle innuendos are enough to get you to pause.
Stu briefly squeezes you to him before taking the textbook from your hands. It’s easy to let go now that the habit’s been established. You rarely carry anything in between classes anymore, Stu either making up a silly excuse to take your textbooks or doing so silently. "Someone’s too smart to carry things.” He forces mock irritation into his voice.
“I didn’t ask you to do that.” It’s half accusing, but you make no move to take your books back.
“Uh-huh,” he hums dismissively, “Whatever you say, smarty.”
----
You can’t remember the last time Stu’s house felt so hot, maybe it has to do with how overly humid the outside world is today, but you’re struggling to feel fully comfortable despite your contentment.
Stu’s talking, reiterating everything wrong with some low budget horror film he stumbled onto last night. You’re listening a little less than you’d like to and you honestly feel bad about it, but you can’t help the way the heat on the back of your neck distracts you.
Billy sits up a little more, “I’m not surprised, your movie instincts are awful.” It sounds like the start of one of their debates that are better off without your interference, and you’re okay with that. This week has been long and this is the first moment that’s allowed you to really breathe. You don’t mind absorbing that for a second and just taking in their presence and the easiness it brings you.
“They’re not worse than yours.”
“Even Y/n picks better.”
Something about the way Billy’s eyes focus on you makes you feel like it’s a genuine attempt on Billy’s part to bring you in a little more. Even though you don’t feel insulted, you still sit up a little more, “Thanks.”
“Ouch, man.” The fact that Stu’s basically dropping the argument in order to add to the jab at your taste is enough to get you to turn your head.
You glare, shoving his shoulder. “My taste is not bad.” They exchange a look that has you feeling like you’re on the outs of some joke. “You guys are the worst, I have no idea why I hang out with you.”
“’Cause you love us.” Stu nudges his foot against yours, bumping your knees in the process.
The additional closeness reminds you of the warmth of the room. To avoid crossing your arms or doing anything that would get them to accuse you of pouting, you begin to pull your hair away from your neck. The hair tie against your wrist smacks against your skin. Loud and stinging a little too noticeably. It’s not painful, but surprising enough to make you drop your hair. “Stu.”
He ignores the harshness of your voice, instead choosing to chase after your wrist with one hand. “Give it.” There’s something about the way he says it that stands out to you. It’s reminiscent of a child noticing a brand new toy and instantly deciding that they want it.
Before you realize what he’s asking for, Stu pulls the hair tie off of you and takes a second to stretch it between his fingers. What he’s trying to do finally sinks in when Stu slides the band up his wrist. You’re not in the mood to redefine how tender scalped you consider yourself to be, but there’s no way to say that in a way that won’t make Stu moody.
“Turn.” It’s a command so gentle you listen instinctually despite your reservations.
You barely have a second to adjust before Stu’s pushing your hair back. “Are you--” His touch is surprisingly focused, not tugging on the strands in the way you’d expect him to. “Are you putting my hair up?”
“Yep,” he pops the ‘p’ casually, like there’s nothing weird about this.
He drags his palms against the top of your scalp a little clumsily. It’s not that weird. Not really, you decide, just different. Any type of ponytail or loose bun would have never taken you this long and it’s clear that Stu doesn’t really know what he’s doing, but it doesn’t hurt. He’s being restrained, gentle.
“You’re letting him do your hair?”
You shrug at Billy’s comment, feeling a little awkward as Stu finally reaches your scalp. “The good thing about hair is that it always grows back.” Stu tugs at your hair pointedly. “Ouch.”
"Rude.”
“Billy started it.”
Billy half scoffs. “Just asked a question.”
A pointed question. You’re about to point that out, but then you hear the tell tale snap of a hair tie being pulled off of a wrist. Stu twists it around your hair carefully and you ease. He lingers, fingertips brushing against your neck before releasing you.
You tilt your head slightly, surprised at how well your hair is pulled off your neck. Not tight enough to feel pulled or like the start of a headache but not loose enough to be annoying. Even though there was some hesitance, he did a lot better than you thought he would. Better than most boys would have done.
Maybe you shouldn’t have assumed he had never done anything like this before. You know about his older sister, and while she’s a sore subject now, maybe there was a time when she wasn’t. And even if that’s a stretch, Stu’s a total flirt that’s been circling around a relationship with Tatum for a minute now.
 Your fingers brush against the end of your hair. “You did good.”
“Give me some credit, babydoll.” You wrinkle your nose at that and Stu grins. “I’ve had a lot of practice. When a girl gives he--”
“Ew.” And just like that, the moment ends. “You’re gross, I hope you know that.”
“He knows,” Billy mumbles, tone extra casual to compensate for his slight smile, “Gets off on it, too.”
You snort, an ungracefully sharp laugh as you sink further into the couch. Stu lets out a sound of protest, shooting a glare in Billy’s direction. “Fuck off.” You laugh again. “Both of you.”
Stu scoots away from you. With a sigh, you reach forward. He plays up his pain for a second but eventually relents, letting you tug his hand into the space between you two.
----
It’s twisting--the world, your mind, the blank spot of the wall you’re tying to focus on. All of it. Swirling at a rate that’s practically nauseating as emotions you can’t fully label in your current state spur on the feelings. They’re a fog, disorientating and complicated. You don’t want to figure out each hue of your feelings so you label them under one umbrella: bad.
You take a breath that’s meant to settle you, but it does the opposite. Your unsteadiness leaves you instinctually wanting to reach over, to grab Stu’s arm and stabilize yourself. But he’s standing there with that same illegible, yet clearly irritated expression. You’re not sure if it’s the beer on an empty stomach or what happened five minutes ago or the silence, but the yellowish tinge of the bathroom’s light adds something to Stu’s features. Something bordering on eerie.
Part of you wants to speak, the rest of you feels like the best thing you can do is just keep standing there. You’re not convinced that Stu’s anger is fully directed at the third party. He’s at the very least annoyed at you.
Leave it to Stu to think that you’re taking the side of the guy that kept hitting on you despite how visibly uncomfortable you got just because you didn’t want things escalating. It wasn’t worth it. Was the guy an annoying asshole? Yes. But you had it under control and Sidney and Tatum were right there. It wasn’t exactly dire.
The quiet is ebbing at your patience. There’s probably some perfect thing to say to shatter the tension, but you can’t think of anything clever or tactful and the last thing you can handle right now is a fight. Your mind tunes into the music that’s softened by the closed space. The thumping base is both terrible and familiar. “I hate this song.”
Stu blinks, gaze shifting towards you. He doesn’t quite ease, but he lets out a breath that could be considered a form of lighthearted acknowledgment. You’ll take it. “Last one was worse.”
You let yourself smile. “Definitely competition.”
He pretends to gasp. “No argument,” he shoots his reply back so quickly you nearly get whiplash, “Color me shocked.”
The theatrics do little to take away from the lethal levels of aggression pressed into his words. That did seem too easy. “I--I didn’t--” You don’t want to explain. You shouldn’t even need to. You were keeping his ass out of trouble. “I just didn’t want you to get in trouble. It wasn’t worth it.” He’s silent for a second, which you can’t make your mind up about. “He wasn’t worth it.”
Stu scoffs, pushing himself away from the wall. “You’re defending hi--”
“I am not.” Ugh. Can he not hear you? If there’s anyone in this situation that you’re trying to defend, to protect it’s Stu. You try to swallow, but your throat still feels overly dry.
“You heard the shit he said about you.”
Okay, speaking calmly is not working. “I don’t care about the shit he said about me, I care about you.” The blowup immediately fills you with regret. “It wasn’t that big a deal. You’ve said worse while we were literally in class.”
Stu straightens in a way that makes his full height unignorable. You doubt that it’s intentional--he can’t help that he’s objectively tall, but noticing it now...And the way he’s looking a little beyond you with a hardened stare that feels more sober than it did a second ago. “The way he was looking at you and then he grabbed your arm.” Stu’s voice changes with no warning, taking a dark edge that nearly startles you.
You blink, biting your tongue to keep from admitting that you had barely noticed. That sounds like purposefully playing oblivious, but it’s true. You had hardly looked at the guy until his clammy fingers were around your forearm. That had been scary. Even Sidney and Tatum had reacted. “Thanks for getting him off of me, by the way.” It feels awkward, but saying it takes a weight off of your check. “Even though the weird, testosterone match the two of you had after was totally unnecessary, it was nice of you.”
Stu tilts his head, taking in your inability to look him in the eye. A flash of genuine shyness despite what you’ve had to drink. He can imagine your thoughts, the running of different words together to make sure you don’t say anything that he could turn into something embarrassing. It’s cute. You’re all fidgety and still a little tipsy. A rush of fondness strikes him with no warning. It’s dangerous, distracting when paired with the little alcohol he did let himself drink.
It’s too much and he’s not used to it. The feelings are a web and his mind tangles around all he could say. A mix of the obscene kind of jokes that always make you role your eyes fondly and genuine comments that all burn down to the same, general meaning: “I’d kill for you.”
Great. The words come out at the exact second Stu recognizes the truthfulness of it. He scrambles for some kind of joke he could make to change the subject before you can think about it too much. The more you know, the more at risk you are. And this is the exact kind of slip up Billy always gives him shit about.
You smile, either unaware of the intensity behind his words or just choosing to ignore it. “Then it’s a good thing I wouldn’t ask you to. You’re too pretty for jail.”
Your casual acceptance makes it easy. Stu lets himself smile for just a second before letting his mouth fall open in mock hurt. “I wouldn’t get caught, babe. I’m slasher material.” You raise your eyebrows in a silent challenge. “And you’ve seen these guns.” He flexes one arm, waiting for your attention to settle on that before reaching for you with his still free hand. Your yelp is more of a laugh than anything else. “I’d be fine.”
Stu pulls you away from the bathroom door and towards his chest. You halfheartedly fight against him, twisting your wrist back in a way that’d be more efficient if it wasn’t for your laughter. “Stu.”
“What?” You push back, Stu’s fingers tighten just slightly. “Just proving my point, sweetheart.” Another laugh as his first hand finds your waist. “Practicing what I preach.”
After a second of play fighting, Stu gets you close enough that there’s no point in resisting. It’s somehow farther and closer than a hug, especially when Stu angles his head downwards.
You like the closeness more than you should. It makes your head feel too jittery, but the rest of you so warm you almost don’t mind the awful music. “This party sucks.” Stu’s eyes focus on the slight pout of your lips. “Want to go and watch a movie or something and then pretend that we stayed here until later so Billy never has to know that he was right about how much this party would suck?”
Stu tugs on your arm, placing a quick kiss to your forehead. “Trying to get me back to your place?” You bite your tongue to avoid giggling again. The last thing he needs is encouragement. “Trying to take advantage of me? Because I promise you won’t have to work that hard at it.”
You roll your eyes, half debating pulling away. “I’m taking back my offer.”
“Hey--no take backs,” he squeezes your arm slightly and you resist for the sake of it, “C’mon, I’ll let you pick the movie if you sleepover.”
The offer surprises you as much as it doesn’t. Stu invites you more and more the longer his parents are out of town. He never says it, but you feel like it’s his way of keeping people around, reducing the quiet in his almost perpetually empty house.
“Deal.”
The Misunderstanding
KIM MINGYU
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm super excited. It's my checkup with the gynecologist. I'm 5 months pregnant and today Mingyu and I will finally know the gender of our baby.
"Mingyu~ are you ready?", I yelled from the bottom of the stairs. There was no answer so I decided to walk up instead. "Gyu?" I said as I peeked through the door. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes and I knew exactly what that meant. He couldn't come. Again. This was the 3rd time. "It's okay", I said with the most cheerful smile on my face hoping to hide my disappointment. "I'm really sorry baby but something really important came up and I have to attend to it", he said with a surprisingly uninterested tone. I wondered if he forgot about our gender reveal so I just said "we'll find out the gender next time". As if this situation wasn't so annoying he left by saying that I should just tell him later like it was no big deal. Was he not interested? Did he not care? I guess I'm just overreacting.
On my way to the hospital I decided to vent to my best friend Tzuyu but I guess she was busy because she didn't answer. Lately she's been busy a lot. It's like I don't have a best friend. It's the same with Mingyu. He's never around anymore. I guess that's just the life of an idol.
I arrived at the hospital but I was 30 minutes early so I thought that I should talk to my brother. S.Coups. Yes the leader of Seventeen and also the best brother ever.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now that I think about it Mingyu said his schedule was free all morning. What could be so important that he has to miss the gender reveal. Something wasn't right but maybe I'm just being dramatic.
My thoughts were disturbed when I was called into the doctors room. Good Morning Mrs. Kim I see your alone today. Yes Doctor Cho. Mingyu had something important to attend to this morning so he couldn't make it. I tried my hardest to sound unbothered but I think she saw right through me. Doctor Cho just smiled at me and asked if I still wanted to know the gender today and I agreed.
Then she said it. "Mrs Kim. Your having a girl". I was over the moon. Mingyu and I hoped to get a baby girl now we're actually having one. This is going to make him so happy.
As soon as I jumped into the car I called Mingyu but unsurprisingly there was no answer so I thought I'd just surprise him at work. I stopped at Starbucks to pick up some coffee and cakes for the SEVENTEEN members. They're having dance practice right now so I thought they'd be hungry.
I got to the practice room, happily greeted the members and gave them their food but something was of. My brother and husband were not there. "Hey guys. Where's Mingyu and Cheol?", I asked with a concerned expression. Jeonghan gave me a hesitant look which made me more suspicious. "Cheol went out looking for Mingyu", Jeonghan said. Wait Mingyu didn't show up to practice? I was starting to get really angry because first Mingyu doesn't show up for the scan, his phone is off, he hasn't showed up to work and he's being so secretive.
I called him again but still no answer so I called my brother.
"Cheol where are you? And where's Mingyu?". He stayed quiet. There was something he wasn't telling me. "Choi Seungcheol where are you and whats going on?!" I said raising my voice a little. He sighed and told me to meet him at my house.
Without a second thought I rushed down to my car and started to drive home. My mind racing with thoughts I didn't even want to think about. Is Mingyu okay? Has he been......... cheating on me? I brushed that thought of the moment it entered my head not wanting to believe any of it.
I arrived at my house and saw my brother parked outside so I walked as fast as I could to him. "Oppa what's going on. Please tell me the truth", I said with tears forming in my eyes. He hugged me and said words I never thought I'd hear "I think Mingyu could be cheating on you. With Tzuyu". I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. Tzuyu is my best friend and Mingyu is my husband. This made no sense. "How do you know this?", I asked with an almost dead expression on my face.
"Well I know how worried you were about Mingyu so I tried to call him but also had no luck reaching him. I decided to go out looking -", his words were cut off by a car pulling into the driveway.
It was Mingyu. I tried to compose myself and tried to think of what to say to him. He was shocked to see Seungcheol and I together. My brother didn't even give him a second to say anything before approaching him but I stopped him from doing or saying just yet.
I walked up to Mingyu looked him dead in the eye and said "Kim Mingyu I'm only going to ask you once and I want the TRUTH. Where were you? And why weren't you answering any of our calls?". I was serious and I wanted answers. He avoided my eyes and kept stuttering. So I asked another question, "Mingyu. Were you with Tzuyu today?" He was taken a back. I already knew the answer to that, it was written all over his face.
Mingyu suddenly began apologizing over and over again but I wasn't finished. I still had questions. So I asked them one at a time. Is she the reason you kept missing all of our scans and being busy all the time?
He quickly replied with a no. "Baby I promise its not what you think-". "THEN WHAT IS IT" I yelled as the tears finally started rolling down my face. My brother hugged me tightly as I broke down.
Mingyu just looked at the both of us not knowing what to say. I turned to look at him and with a pleading tone I said, "Please tell me that this is all a misunderstanding Mingyu". He took a deep breath and Began to tell his story.
There really was something important that came up. My manager called me to try and set me up with some future projects. I told him I was busy but he insist I'd come meet him at the Cafe near the HYBE building. So I went. We discussed some plans and when I was leaving i bumped into Tzuyu. I greeted her and we spoke for a while. She started acting weird and touchy and I was a bit uncomfortable because she's your best friend and I didn't understand why she was acting this way. I think she might of been drunk or something. When I told her I was leaving she basically threw herself onto me. I don't know why she was trying to cause such a big scene. But y/n I'd never cheat on you. Your my wife and we're having a baby soon. I could never do that to you or our child.
Seungcheol didn't look to convinced with Mingyu's statement. "How do we know your not lying Mingyu?", he asked in a firm tone. Mingyu just looked at me. I could see how hard he was trying to hold back his tears. "Y/n. Please trust me. You know me. I would never do this to you. I love you too much to do something like that to you". His words were very sincere and I could tell that he was speaking the truth. "I trust you Mingyu", I said as I hugged him.
We both began to cry in each other's arms. "I'm sorry y/n that this happend. I promise nothing of this sort will ever happen again", he said holding onto me tightly. "Shhh Mingyu it's over now everything is alright", I said. He just looked at me and I kissed him.
"Can the both of you get a room", Seungcheol said as he made a weird face. "Oh oppa. Sorry I forgot you were here". He just rolled his eyes at me. "Baby what's the gender of our baby?", Mingyu asked nervously. Oh right I almost forgot about that. The both of them nervously waited for my answer. "Mingyu. Seongcheol. ITS A GIRL!" They both jumped excitedly and hugged me. "Hyung did you here that?! I'm having a daughter", Mingyu yelled in happiness as he took me into his arms. "And I'm having a niece", Cheol yelled.
This was the best feeling in the world. Having the two men I love most in the world and soon my baby girl.
drivers license - suna rintarou
part 2 right here
inspired by the song driver's license
his house is right there, right in front of me.
sitting in the car biting my lip holding back the sob that threatened to escape, how did it become like this? how did i end up sitting in here alone while you went off with her? that was supposed to be me, you said you would wait?
suna rintarou
a beautiful boy, his smile never failed to warm your heart. the way he would hold you in his arms, pout when you weren't paying attention, brush your hair behind your ear, the way he would kiss you and buy you your favorite drinks or take you to that little park you loved so much as you guys watched the sunset and fell in love all over again.
then how did it get like this?
----------------------------------------------------------------
“hi my name is l/n y/n and i'm your new manager!,” you introduced yourself. was a first year at inarizaki and needed to get into a club, atsumu decided to introduce you to the coach and give in a few words.
looking around the team you felt a nice presence, and that's when your eyes landed on his, those green piercing eyes. having his knees to his chest laughing at atsumu for trying to punch him for showing him something on his phone.
the way his laugh died down but kept a smile as he looked at you.
you blushed but became distracted as kita called you over.
“thank you guys for accepting me have a good night!,” you said grabbing your bag and leaving. “wait up i’ll walk with you,” you heard a voice behind you say. you turned to hear the voice and it belonged to him.
you guys walked under the stars, you shivered forgetting a jacket and that's when he looked at you and smirked. “the old jacket technique huh let me guess you want me to take mine’s off and give it to you,”
you gasped and looked right at him, “no i actually forgot you weirdo whatever i guess i'll walk faster,” you said speeding up. “wait i’m just teasing here i have a hoodie it’s my sleeping in class hoodie so better not ruin it.”
you took it hesitantly but put it on either way, it was big and burgundy and my god the scent you can still remember to this day how good he smelled like. “looks good on you maybe i’ll let you keep it,” he said as you guys continued to walk.
that was your first interaction, your first words to each other and one of the many nights you guys have come to spend together
---------------------------------------------------------------
everything else came easily, even though having a age gap it didn’t stop your feelings whatsoever, and also never stopped him from showing affection.
you still remember your first kiss
how he kissed you by surpised on the slide of a old park where you guys sneaked out to get ice cream.
still remember how he started bringing extra hoodies and hair ties since you had a habit of forgetting both.
still remember that night under the stars in the backseat of his car when he looked at you and told you he was in love with you.
you teared up staring at him as he giggled softly caressing your face, holding your waist even more closer to his chest as your bodies connected.
“i love you rintarou,” you smiled crying softly.
he looked at you rubbing your tears away, “and i love you y/n l/n,”
--------------------------------------------------------------
how it was such a good 6 months. looking back you should have seen the way you guys would only hang out around the night or weekdays.
how he wouldn't hold your hand in school or only be affection around the team.
and how you guys weren't exactly official, never asked you officially to be his but hey because of the memories spent together you thought of course your his and he’s yours.
you first saw her when she came through the doors, holding his notebook as she apologized but nevertheless gave him a smile and he gave one back. she was pretty- like really pretty.
pretty blue eyes, blonde long hair, beautiful body.
“so this is what overthinking feels like huh,” you mumbled as you shook your head and went back to setting the net up.
after practice you and suna as always walked home
you guys decided to take a detour heading to your park where many memories were made.
“hey rin,” you asked as you looked over the river that was by the bridge. “yes love?,” he replied. “what are we?,” you asked him.
please say im yours...
“well your younger than me, i want you to be mines and you already are, always and forever sooo how about this,” he turned to look at you and bent down so his head was right at yours. “when you become a 2nd year and get your driver's license we can officially be together yeah? i'll get down on one knee and ask you to be mine,” he rolled his eyes as you giggled.
he stuck out his pinkie and you stuck out yours. “you’ll wait for me?,” you said.
he wrapped his pinkie around yours, “always, make sure you just don't crash don't want you dying before your mine but yes i promise i will wait for you l/n,” suna smiled grabbing you and pulling you in for a kiss.
-------------------------------------------------------------
finals came up and yes you and suna got distant due to you studying, yet you weren't nervous you were excited to finally walk down the halls holding his hand.
looking back you should have seen the signs of him not texting you often or wanting to help you, you shrugged it off maybe he was struggling in some classes too.
finally the day was here, texting osamu all morning about how you would pick them up for school so you can show off to suna.
laughing driving up to school with the twins, you got out the car and seeing suna’s back against one of the walls
 you were about to call out for him until you saw her again. this time she was wearing the burgundy hoodie, and he was the one holding her hand. he was smiling? the smile he gave you specifically to you he was giving to her.
tears filled your eyes.
“y/n chan.. i’m-” , “its okay atsumu just get to class okay?,” you turned around hand shaking as you hold your keys, tears spilling down your eyes. “i'm going to be okay,” you smiled. “no, you’re crying,”
“i said i’m okay, i’m just going to leave,” you said running to your car and getting the fuck outta there.
leaving you saw atsumu go up to suna and scream at him.
your heart felt like it was being pulled, this can’t be real?
you headed home, slamming your door and falling to the ground, how could you rin?
flashes of him and her passed your mind seeing how happy he was.
you looked underneath and saw a photo on the ground. your grabbed it and sat on your bed, it was you and him in a photobooth smiling and then kissing. underneath in his handwriting he wrote “my love always and forever,”
you felt like throwing up, so this is what heartbreak feels like.
you were hurt mad even at the fact that before anything was able to happen it was already ruined. you cried yourself to sleep wanting to ignore the pain/
---------------------------------------------------------
you woke up around 9 p.m, you were confused but remembered all that happened today
“so that wasn't a horrible dream?,” you tried to laugh it out but really couldn’t.
you needed fresh air, you changed into sweatpants and a baggy shirt.
going for a drive blasting music, you didn’t know where you were going but you just needed to feel the air flowing past you. you stopped at the red light, everything was getting blurry tears now leaving as you hit the steering wheel.
you kept driving and ending up parking in this neighborhood, being very familiar but automatically knowing where you ended up. you looked to your right and saw his house.
you were about to get off trying to get closure you said, needing answers still trying to doubt everything and thinking maybe this was a horrible joke from the twins and him but then you got all the closure you needed. seeing as the door opened revealing the girl coming out.
your heart dropped seeing how happy they were and dare you say actually look good together. he smiled down at her and grabbed her for a kiss.
you gasped as a heart wrenching sob escaped your lips, she walked away as he never took his eyes off her figure.
that was me.
 he then looked turning his head and made eye contact with you, you just silently laughed as you shook your head at him and turned on the car leaving. “y/n wait!,” you heard him say as you left.
you headed to the small park and sat in the slide looking up as you laid down and finally let everything out. “never knew your waiting was just a short trial did i have to pay for millions of hours?,” you cried as you looked up in the sky seeing your memories replay in your head
‘Cause how could I ever love someone else’ And I know we weren't perfect but I've never felt this way for no one
And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone Guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me 'Cause you said forever now I drive alone past your street’
your phone dinged as you look who texted you
suna rin: y/n we need to talk... suna rin: please, i am so so sorry just hear me out. suna rin: i really did wait i just, please let's just meet up.
you texted back
“im really happy for you suna, goodbye rintarou.”
you then deleted his contact as you took a deep breathe and sat up.
“i still see your face
In the white cars”
you grabbed your head, “was i not good enough?,”
“We crossed I still hear your voice In the traffic We're laughing”
flash back
“you know i think we're meant to be,” suna said from your bed as you were on your laptop finishing some things. “wow such a hopeless romantic,” you smiled at him as you were putting back your earphones. “just maybe right person wrong time,” he said softly. you looked back at him, “i'm sorry did you say something,” you asked him. he just shook his head, “nothing i was just saying your a nerd,” he said as he threw a pillow at your face. “you know what,” you got up and jumped on top of him both laughing.
flashback over
‘God, I'm so blue Know we're through But I still fucking love you, babe’
you finally realized what he said, right person wrong timing
you looked up at the cherry blossom tree and softly smiled
“your right suna we really were meant to be just right person, wrong time.”
i guess not every love story is meant to be complete.
the end.
Literally, this might be something I would do as a prank to my future boyfriend. And watching BTS leaving J-hope at the gas station as a hidden camera prank inspired this headcanon too!
This is going to be a two-parter! I'll be doing the MSBY four first, then the second part is Meian, Inunaki and Tomas!
Pairing (s): MSBY Four (Featuring Bokuto Koutarou, Miya Atsumu, Hinata Shoyo and Sakusa Kiyoomi) x fem reader! (she/her)
Genre: fluff
Warning(s): may contain usage of strong language.
a/n - I imagine Hinata as a sweet boyfriend who wants to make you feel better who would buy you snacks or do anything to make you feel better.
Part 1 | Part 2 (Here!)
Enjoy!
Bokuto Koutarou
Tumblr media
Before getting to know you, Bokuto thought you were this innocent, pure and feminine, but it turns out you were the opposite.
Your looks attracted him, but he fell for your personality.
There's never a dull day living with you, and he does wish that sometimes you could take your pranking down a notch.
Sunday was grocery shopping day, and you two would drive to the supermarket, which is slightly far from your apartment, but it's one of the bigger stores.
Since he does not have a driver's license, you mostly drive and pick him up from his practice once he was done.
Grocery shopping on a Sunday is a chore that you both want to avoid, but there's nothing left at the end of the week.
You two would have two carts, splitting the long list of groceries and check out together.
Maybe because you were really busy with work and hurry to return home to finish up before your deadline.
You actually left your boyfriend at the store.
He went and pushed the trolleys back, and when he came back, the car was gone.
Bokuto thought it was another prank of yours, and you will pull up at the entrance waiting for him, but no.
You were really gone.
Bokuto was baffled, flustered and confused in general. Just how did you exactly forget this 1.9m baby owl?
He tried calling you, but you were not picking up, mainly because you were still driving. Luckily, he still has his phone and wallet with him; if not, he really might be stranded at the supermarket.
The solution now was to get a taxi and head back home first and witness the shock on your face when you realised you forgot your boyfriend at the store.
Of course, he has to tell his friends that his girlfriend manages to forget about him and left him at the store.
---
Something was not right.
You feel like you left out something.
It suddenly dawned on you; the thing that you left behind was your own boyfriend, Bokuto Koutarou. That 1.9m giant boyfriend of yours that you left at the store.
You reached the condominium building parking space and saw the missed calls that he left behind for you. Now, you feel extremely bad for leaving him at the store. You are baffled about this whole situation too.
But without him, you have to make two trips to get the groceries up to your apartment.
So you carried the first load of the groceries and head up first.
When you came down to get the second load, you spotted a familiar figure by your car.
"Baby! I'm so sorry! I literally forgot you at the store! I swear this is no prank!" Seeing how panicked you were while apologising, Bokuto decided to just let this time off.
"Fine, but you have to make me those Hamburg steaks, then I'll forgive you!" Ah, he is using this to exploit this situation to get him those tasty steaks that he loves.
"Okay, no problem. Let's get the stuff back in. I'm terribly sorry again." You sighed and look down to your feet in embarrassment.
"Hey, no need to apologise anymore. I already said that making those steaks is your redemption, right? Let's head up now." He kisses your forehead and helps you with the groceries.
Tumblr media
Miya Atsumu
Tumblr media
His own predictions came true. You had indeed left him at the store because of anger.
It seems like he took his words too far this time, and you were done with his dumb antics and decided to drive off when he went to go push back the trolleys.
You were one of the most patient people he ever knows because you can tolerate his ranting sessions which last up to hours.
But, it seems like your patience for him ran out, and he has no choice but to call Osamu for help.
When he rolls up in his car at the store, smirking at Atsumu, who was absolutely embarrassed by himself already, who pissed off you to the point of leaving him at the store.
You and Atsumu were back at Hyogo to visit your families, and you helped your parents with their groceries, and Atsumu tagged along.
His jokes were not it, and he continued with it, and he made an insensitive comment about your weight and being on your period made it worse.
So you finished shopping in silence while he continues rambling.
And you left him at the store, purposely.
"Tsumu, I told ya already. You gotta be more understandin' when yer girlfriend is on her period. See, this is what happens if ya don't listen." Osamu teased him as they both pull into your family house.
Their parents were already in, with yours preparing dinner for their little ones, who are all adults.
You were up in your room, taking a rest since your cramps were getting worse, and you could not sit down without being in pain.
When Atsumu arrives with Osamu, his mother immediately hands him a tray of what seems to be a hot water bottle and warm ginger tea.
"Go, she's not feelin' well." And he realised that he may have been really insensitive about your feelings.
He took the tray and heads up to your room. Osamu heads in to help them in the kitchen to speed up the dinner-making process.
---
"Babe? I'm comin' in." Atsumu quietly steps into your room, and he sees you wrapped in your duvet, with a frown on your face.
"Go away, Tsumu. I don't wanna talk to ya." He ignores you and sits down on your bed anyways.
He sets the tray by your bedside table and helps you to lean against your bed frame.
"Here, my ma told me that it'll help with yer cramps. Drink this too; you'll feel better soon." He passes you the hot water bottle, and you use it to relieve your cramps. Atsumu helps you to drink the warm ginger tea that his mother had prepared.
After finishing the tea, he helped you lie back in bed and covers you in the thick and warm duvet. He was about to leave, but you held onto his wrist.
"Stay beside me." How could he reject his sick girlfriend?
Atsumu climbs into your bed that is a little too small to fit both of you, but you two make it work. He wraps his arms around you from behind and massages your tummy.
"I'm sorry for making ya so angry. I love ya." He whispered into your ears.
"I love ya too." You whispered back and soon falls asleep to his warm touches.
---
Osamu went up to get you two since dinner was ready and he came to discover a cute sight and he doesn't miss the opportunity to take a picture for his brother later.
You were clutching onto Atsumu's shirt while his arm loosely wrapped around your waist and your legs were entangled with each other.
If there's anyone who is the number one fan of you and Atsumu, it's got to be his own twin.
Tumblr media
Hinata Shoyo
Tumblr media
Oh no, the moment you realised that you left him at the store, you immediately make a U-turn back to the store to get him.
Hinata was shocked to find you driving off without him and was in so much shock that he literally stares at your car driving away.
He didn't know what to do so he went into the store to wait for you since he only has his phone with him, he can't take a taxi back home too.
He was sure that you would turn back and pick him up when you realised that you left him at the store.
And he was right.
He sees your car driving and to the pick-up stop, where he was waiting for you.
You got out of the car and threw your arms around him, apologising to him profusely.
"It's alright, at least you realise that you forgot about me. Bokuto-san's girlfriend drove all the way back home and realise that she left him at the store." He pats your head affectionately.
You two switch sides and got into the passenger side while he got into the driver seat.
"Ah, shall we get some snacks on the way back home? Wanna get some boba?" Hinata knows that you are still feeling bad and is trying his best to make you feel better.
"Okay...but I want the large size one." You requested with a small voice and fiddle with your fingers.
"Sure, if that's what you want." He smiles at you and turns into the closest boba shop to get you your favourite drink.
---
When you two got home, he could still the pout on your face, and he wraps his arms around you and pulls you onto his lap.
"Come on, I already told you it's fine. Why are you still so upset?" He squishes your cheeks together and almost laughed at your expression.
"Let me be~! I can't believe I made such a silly mistake..." You wrapped your arms around his neck and covers your face in the crook of his neck.
Hinata pats your back and lets you hug him. He loves it when you are clingy and pouty to him because you are usually more of a strict (?) and not that affectionate kind of a girlfriend.
That's why he was so happy on the inside seeing you behaving this way. He doesn't mind getting left at the store again.
"Really, I'm fine." He reassures you, but you shook your head.
"But, I'm not. Come on, at least let me do something for you. You have been pampering me." You mumbled against his neck, and he kisses the temple of your head.
"Fine, let's cook dinner together. You never let me into the kitchen when you're cooking." Hinata suggests, and you lifted up your face to look at him in confusion.
"That's it?" He nods his head, and you just agreed to it.
---
Now you know why he wants to join you in the kitchen.
His arms were tightly wrapped around your waist, restricting your every movement, and it was hard to move around with your professional volleyball athlete boyfriend stuck onto you.
Hinata was literally having the time of his life by following you around the kitchen and watch you prepare dinner for you two.
"You're wifey material! My wifey!" He kisses your lips and skips off to the living room to not disturb you anymore.
Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he continues to throw you the heart signs from the living room.
Tumblr media
Sakusa Kiyoomi
Tumblr media
This is not the first time you have done this, and it became a monthly thing.
When you forget him at the store, you have to watch the shows he wants that night.
It's torture for you because you two have the opposite taste in shows.
And you were determined not to make the same mistake because, if you watch one of those boring documentaries again, you might as well let him leave you at the store.
Today, you were kind of rushing because your favourite show is premiering its new season and you want to return back home on time.
Sakusa can see the pure panic in your face as you scan the lists and the group; you guys might not make it back on time.
You tap your fingers impatiently on the handle of the trolley, and you were tugging on his shirt to tell him to shop faster.
Do you think he will listen to you? Absolutely not.
He takes his own sweet time to shop, and now he feels bad seeing the pout on your face.
When he tries to talk to you, you ignored him because you were upset.
It may be childish, but you have been waiting for a long for this season, and it was your favourite TV show.
So, when you two were putting the groceries in the trunk, and you drove off when he went to push the trolley back.
He literally watches the Black Range Rover exits the parking lot.
Damn, you are literally mad at him.
Lucky for him, he has his wallet and phone with him.
So he went and got your favourite cakes and tea, and heads back home in a taxi.
You were sitting in front of the TV, with your knees up to your chest and your glasses almost falling off your face.
"Hey, I'm sorry for being such an asshole earlier. I bought some peace offerings." You look away from the TV and eye the bag of food that he was holding.
"Yakisoba?" He nods, and you got up from your spot to sit by the dining table.
He watches you take a bite and sees the smile as you dig into the noodles, then you remember about your boyfriend and offers him a bite.
Sakusa happily accepts it and watches you enjoy the noodles that he bought for you. It was the one thing that never changed since university, that is your love for yakisoba.
"I forgive you a tiny little bit. I'm still angry at you." You tried to muster an angry expression, but you look adorable, like an upset puppy.
He got up from his seat and wrapped his arms around you, his cheeks squished against yours.
"Fine, my pouty baby. What else do you need me to do so you can return back to normal?" He squishes your cheeks together, and you just had to smile at his attempts at making you smile again.
But, then, since he has always been forcing you to watch his shows, it's time for him to watch your shows.
"Watch the drama with me." You requested, and he doesn't want you being pouty the whole day, so he agreed.
---
This man did not even last a single episode. The moment his head hits your thighs, he was a goner and fell asleep, and maybe your hand combing through his curls made him really sleepy.
Sakusa loves sleeping on your lap, and when you have your fingers through his hair, he is in absolute heaven.
"Baby, wake up. You missed the whole episode." You shake him up, but he continued softly snoring away. It seems like he was exhausted, and you let him sleep on your lap.
You slowly fall asleep on the sofa as well.
---
He was getting cold, so he got up from his spot on your lap. When he sees you sleeping with such a peaceful and calm expression, he gives you a light kiss on your eyelids and nose.
Sakusa carried you back into the room and lays you gently on the bed. He got under the covers with you and pulls you into his chest.
You unconsciously clutch on his shirt and snuggles closer to him. He kisses your forehead and takes another nap with you.
Tumblr media
Writing four characters takes quite some time, but I love writing these sorts of headcanon! I hope you guys enjoyed these four scenarios and thank you so much for reading!
Part 2 featuring Meian, Inunaki and Tomas would probably be up in two days? It depends as writing multiple characters takes more time than a single character headcanon.
Stay safe and healthy!
With love,
Rosalie🍓
Hi! I’m a new follower and I really like your stuff! Could I request a Pete Davidson x reader (angst to fluff) where Pete is on tour or filming away from home and the reader is left behind. After like 6 months of being apart Pete starts to get tired of the long distance and basically like done with it. And then he realizes his mistake and comes home to make it up to her! I’m sorry if that’s super long! Also if this imagine doesn’t interest you, then no sweat! Thank you so much in advance 💕
A/n: This took so much less time then I thought it would. Anyway, here you go, I really hope you like it!
Warning: angst, swearing, like one cigarettes
€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€
Six months. Six months was an extremely long time to be away from someone you loved.
Y/n sat on the couch, a small pout on her lips. She looked at Pete—her boyfriend of a year—and frowned. “I wish I could go with you.” Pete frowns too, and sits down next to her.
“I know. I wish you were coming with me too. But hey, it’s only a couple of months, all right? I’ll be back before you know it.” He kissed her cheek.
“I just wish my contract would let me. You have no idea how annoying it is to not be able to do things because of freaking Marvel.” She groans, falling on her back with a slight ‘plop’.
“Well, because of freaking Marvel, you are one of the best actresses out there. And I know you’re going to kill it with filming. My tour isn’t even that cool. It’ll broke you to death.” He jokes, leaning back on the arm of the couch.
“Babe, you’re a comedian.”
“Oh right, I forgot.” He grabs her arm, and pulls her up into his chest. “I love you, okay?” He lifts her chin up, and kisses her. “So fucking much. We’ll face time everyday, I’ll call you every evening and wish you goodnight.”
“Okay.” She looked over a the clock, and sighed. “We have to go. Your flight is leaving soon.” He brushes hair behind her ear, bringing her eyes back to him.
“I love you. It’ll be over before you know it.”
“I love you, too.”
********
The car ride to the airport was long, and quiet. Pete was driving, he had one hand on the steering wheel, and one hand on Y/n’s leg, rubbing small circles into the center of her thigh.
She knew she was going to miss him so much, but she also knew she was going to be extremely busy with filming, so it wouldn’t be as bad.
Once they were at the gate, they tearfully hugged, and she kissed him. “All right, now get out of here. We’re not doing that rom-com turn back at the last second goodbye.” She laughed at him, tears steaming down her face a bit. He wiped one with his thumb, and kissed her again. “Love you. Now go, so I get to watch you walk away.”
“Really?”
“Yes.” She turns around, and starts walking back to her car. She knew he hated leaving her too, but he was a lot better at hiding emotions then she was, that was one of the only things she learned while dating him.
She got in her car, and put her head on her steering wheel.
She groans, and leans back. Starting her car, she pulled out of the airport, and drove home.
**********
The first few months were the worst. Y/n hated going to bed alone, the left side of the bed always cold.
She was filming almost every day, and seeing her co-workers and friends always cheered her up, after all she had been working with the same people for quite some time now, so she felt comfortable around them.
The fourth month was slowly becoming easier. She got use to coming home to no one there, and making dinner for herself. She still talked to Pete every day, texting him good morning, and Goodnight, and FaceTiming him a lot during the day.
Though she knew he loved her, she felt as though he was slightly pulling away. The FaceTime calls were short, and he never texted her back right away like he use to.
“And so, we we’re almost done with the shoot, so close I could practically taste the coffee in my trailer waiting for me, and then Kevin calls cut, and he makes us do the whole scene over again! I swear, I was about to strange that man. Ugh, I can’t wait til you come home. Only two more weeks, I can’t believe we made it.” Y/n rants, talking to Pete on the phone.
“Uh huh. Cool.” He wasn’t looking at her, instead his attention was somewhere else. Y/n frowns, tilting her head a bit.
“Pete…are, are you okay?” That seemed to catch his attention, and he finally looked at the screen.
“What? I’m fine.”
“Okay…you just seem so…different lately. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but you seem like you don’t have time for me anymore. Or if you do, you don’t like talking to me.” Pete scoffs.
“Of course I don’t have time for you right now. I’m in between shows, I’m driving to one as we speak. I mean, god forbid I get a minute to myself without my agents or you calling me.” Pete snapped.
“Wha-I’m just talking to you. If you didn’t want to, you could have said something.”
“That’s bullshit you would have thrown a fucking hissy fit or something.” He rolls his eyes.
“That’s not true. I understand when people are tired, believe me I would know.”
“Would you?”
“Yes!” She had tears stinging her eyes. “Of course I do, you’re forgetting what I do for a living. I work from 6 am to whenever we finish which most of the time is in the middle of the night. I have to re-do the same scene about ten times because RDJ won’t stop making jokes in the middle of the scene!”
“Oh, sorry, I forgot about your super-star actress life.”
“Why are you being so mean to me? I was only concerned about you.”
“Mean? What are you, five? I can’t-I can’t do this anymore.” She huffs, crossing her arms.
“What do you talking about? Are you breaking up with me?”
“Wh-”
“Because then fine. If you don’t want to be with me, I don’t have to take this shit. I’ll be with someone who, oh, I don’t know is actually here.”
“Oh that’s fucking rich, you know I can’t be there, don’t even do that.” She scoffs.
“I don’t care. You want to act like a petty bitch, I have no problem doing it right back.”
“No, I think you’re just a petty bitch.” She wipes her eye, and he laughs dryly. “Oh of course you’re crying.”
“Shut up. If you don’t want to be with me, fine. Go enjoy your show, Pete.” She hung up the phone, and turned off the ringer. She plugged it into her charger, and went into the bathroom, turning the shower on.
********
Pete rubbed his eyes, and took a drag of his cigarette. He knew he shouldn’t have snapped at her, it wasn’t her fault he was cranky, and needed to take it out on someone.
“I’m a dick.” He mumbles to himself, and bangs his steering wheel.
His phone rang again, and for a good second his heart leaping out of his chest, thinking it was his girlfriend, calling him back. He checked the phone, seeing it was Colson. He answered the call.
“What’s up, man?” Pete asks.
“The shows starting soon. You almost here?” Colson questioned. Pete looked at his google maps, seeing he was supposed to be there in ten minutes.
“I’m a good ten minutes away. I’ll be there.”
“You sound weird. What the fuck did you take without me?” Colson asks, trying to lighten the mood.
“Uh…Y/n and I just broke up. I think.” The line was silent for a few seconds.
“Why the fuck would you do that, you idiot? Are you kidding me?” Colson scoffs. “Man, what the fuck?”
“Shut up, man. I can’t stand talking on the phone with her. I’m busy, she’s busy, she plays a superhero for fuck’s sake. I didn’t even expect it to last this long to be honest.”
“Man, you fucking dumbass. That girl was probably the only good thing you had going for you. Get her the fuck back.I thought you loved her.”
“I did-I do. I do love her. I’m just so stressed right now, and excuse me for not wanting to hear about fucking Kevin Feige being a shitty director.”
“Hey, fuck-shit, you ever think that maybe this is more hard on her? Acting is fucking hard, you should know that, especially for a company like Marvel.
“Man, who’s side are you on?” Pete turns into the parking lot, and grabs his phone.
“You think I’m on your side here? You’re forgetting that we were friends before I met you. I can not believe you just fucked up the best thing in your life. Fix it, man. You’re going home in a week, fucking fix it.” And with that, Colson hung up, and put his phone away.
He kicked a rock across the pavement, and cursed under his breathe.
********
The worst thing about breaking up with someone you live with, who so happens to be long-distance is that their stuff fills the apartment with an existential amount of regret.
Y/n laid on her couch, flipping through the channels of the TV. She had called off work for the next few days, not feeling up to put on a performance for anyone. She knew she would get shit for it later, but she didn’t care.
Her head perked up when there was a knock on the door. She sighed, and got up, going over to the door. She really didn’t feel like company at the moment, and was sure she was going to send away whoever it was.
When she opened the door, her breathe caught in her throat. Pete stood in the doorway, looming over her. He looked like shit. She could tell he hadn’t slept, and probably didn’t eat anything, but she knew he didn’t look much better.
“Why-why didn’t you use your key?” Y/n asks, opening the door a bit for him.
“I uh, didn’t want to barge in on you. You also probably weren’t expecting me.”
“I wasn’t. I thought you didn’t get back until next week.” She says. It took every ounce of her not to jump into his arms, and kiss his face until she was sure she kissed every part of it.
“I took off early. Can we talk? Please. I was a dick. I was such a dick. I’m sorry, I know we grew apart in the last few months, and I promised we wouldn’t but we did, and I’m so sorry for that, baby.” He grabs her hand, and she slightly pulls it back, but let’s him grab it. “Please, forgive me. I love you, so much, okay? So fucking much, you’re the best thing that’s happened to me.”
She felt tears welling up in her eyes, and she looked away from him. “What you said really hurt.”
“I know. And I’ll spend every day trying to make it up to you.” She quickly wrapped her arms around him, pushing her face into his chest. He didn’t hesitate to hug her back, leaning down and kissing the top of her head. “I love you.”
“I love you, too. Fuck traveling.”
“Fuck traveling.”
Chapter 4
“You have a call from an inmate at the Washington D.C. Correctional Facility. To accept these charges, please press 1. To decline-,” you punched in the 1.
“Hey Spencer,” you greeted him.
“How did you know it was me?” he grinned.
“There’s not too many prisoners calling me, believe it or not,” you teased.
“I was calling to see if you could do me a big favor,” he spoke.
“What’s up?”
“My lawyer has told me that JJ told her my mom isn’t doing so well. She’s in a facility for her schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s,” he informed you.
“How can I help?” you asked.
“Could you bring Callie to go see her? I really think a familiar face could do a lot of good for her.”
“Of course, I’m 5 minutes away from her school. We can head right over,” you stated.
“Thank you so so much. Also, she doesn’t know I’m in prison so tell Callie just to tell her I’m away on a case. She’s in a fragile condition so it’s best to just say yes to everything she asks,” Spencer explained.
“Will do. If you are able to stay on the line for a few more minutes, you can say hi to Callie,” you told him.
“I was the last in line so I should be able to. I’ve got 6 minutes left,” Spencer said.
A bit of an awkward silence filled your car.
“So…are there any more injuries I need to attend to before work tomorrow?” you asked.
“No, I’ve got some help,” Spencer spoke vaguely.
“Okay, that’s good, I guess,” you pulled the car to a stop as Callie hopped in the passenger seat, “Your dad is on the phone, Callie.”
“Hi Dad!” she greeted.
“Hey sweetheart. How’s it going?” he asked.
“Really good. At soccer practice today, Coach told me I’m going to be a starter next game,” she beamed.
“That’s amazing! I wish I could be there to see it,” Spencer frowned slightly.
“Which is why I bought a camcorder so I can record the whole game for you to watch later as well as other things you may be sad to miss,” you said.
“Y/N, as much as I appreciate all you do for us, you need to stop spending so much money. I feel bad, I’ll reimburse you as soon as I’m out.”
“Spencer, I’m a doctor who rarely goes out and my closest friend is a cat. I have some money to spare,” you assured him.
“Why are you going left here?” Callie asked as you made a turn that wasn’t on your usual route home.
“Your dad wants you to visit your Grandma,” you replied.
“Callie, she just needs a familiar face so talk to her about your new school, soccer, anything but me going to jail,” Spencer explained, “Okay, I have 30 seconds left. Bye, love you, sweetheart!”
“Bye, Dad! Love you too!”
“Stay safe!” you added.
-
You walked up to the receptionist's desk with Callie, “Hi, she’s here to see Diana Reid.”
“Hi Callie, long time no see! No Dr. Reid today?” she asked.
“No, he’s away on a case,” you smiled politely.
“Callie, she’s in her room, dear,” the receptionist directed you down the hall.
Once you were outside the door, you stopped, “I’ll wait out here. Remember, your dad is on a long case. You are staying with the LaMontagne’s. And just agree with the stuff she says to not upset her,” you reminded Callie, “I’ll be right out here when you’re done.”
Before you had a chance to sit down in the waiting room, the door swung open.
“Grandma!” Callie exclaimed.
“My dear Callie,” she hugged her.
She looked up at you, “Is this who I think it is?”
You thought back to Spencer’s words.
She’s in a fragile condition so it’s best to just say yes to everything she asks.
“Um yes?” you answered.
“Callie’s mom! Oh my! I haven’t seen you in ages. I forgot what you even looked like, I remembered you differently. Forgive me, dear, could you remind me of your name?” she asked.
You looked to Callie for help but she looked just as confused as you and shrugged. She must not know either.
“Y/N,” you extended your hand for her to shake.
“What a beautiful name,” she smiled, “Come in! Come in!”
“So Callie, how has my favorite granddaughter been?” she asked.
“I’m your only grandchild, Grandma,” Callie playfully rolled her eyes, “I’ve been really well! Y/N-I mean Mom actually got me into a better school and I’ve been keeping busy with soccer and clubs and hanging out with friends.”
“That’s wonderful to hear! Y/N, how are you doing?” she turned to you.
Shit. What the fuck were you supposed to say?
“I’ve been well,” you simply stated with a nervous smile.
“Are you and Spencer dating again?”
I suppose you had to agree to this too.
“Yes, we are,” you nodded.
“Well, I hope you are back for good this time,” she stated.
That seemed kind of back-handed but maybe deserved, you didn’t know Callie’s mom’s backstory. You just continued to nervously smile through the rest of the visit as Callie caught up with her grandma.
-
“Well that was awkward,” you sighed as you got back into the car after the visit, “I need a milkshake.”
Callie was silent all the way to the drive-thru and as you ordered two large chocolate milkshakes and fries.
Finally, she spoke as you parked the car in the parking lot to eat, “I mean you’re more of a mom to me than my own mom. Dad never really told me much about her. She must have left when I was a baby because I don’t remember her at all.”
“I’m sure your dad has his reasons for not telling you but you must know that her leaving wasn’t your fault at all,” you told her.
“Who would leave a baby and my dad?” she teared up.
“I don’t know, honey,” you pulled her in for a hug, “It was her loss though whoever she is because she didn’t get to see what an amazing girl you have become.”
-
“Reid, visitor,” the guard called out.
Please let it be Callie and or Y/N, Spencer prayed.
He needed a ray of sunshine in his otherwise completely dark week. He didn’t want it to be the team or his lawyer asking if he remembered anything else because he didn’t. He couldn’t.
He slumped out of bed and let the guard cuff him on the way to the visitor room. His pace quickened when he saw you waiting there for him, just as beautiful as always.
You smiled at first when you saw him but it morphed into a frown when you saw fresh bruises forming.
“Spencer, I thought you said you had help,” you whispered.
“Apparently not all of the time,” he mumbled.
You bit your bottom lip worriedly, “Well, I brought my med kit.”
You got up and started to inspect his face.
“How did the visit with my mom go?” he asked.
“Good, I guess,” you replied.
“You guess?”
“She saw me before I went to the waiting room. I said yes to everything she said but that included her thinking that I was Callie’s mom and that we were dating,” you grimaced.
Spencer sighed, “Oh god.”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t know what to do,” you apologized.
“No, no, it’s not your fault. You were just doing what was told. Did Callie have questions?”
You nodded.
Spencer ran his hands through his hair, “I knew this day would come but I’m still not prepared. I just avoid thinking about it at all costs.”
“Do you want to talk to me about it and maybe I can help you put the right words together,” you offered.
“Um okay, her name was Austin. I met her on a case. She was a bartender. We were long distance for a bit. She got pregnant early on in the relationship. We decided to try to make it work. She moved in with me in D.C. and had Callie. When Callie was about 4 months old, she got overwhelmed and just left…just like that. I went to the park with Callie and came back to find all of her things gone and a note that just said ‘sorry’. I haven’t heard from her since. We were trying to force a happy ending that wasn’t there,” Spencer finished.
“Well lucky for Callie, she has one amazing dad and that is more than enough,” you reassured him.
“And a pretty kick ass foster mom,” Spencer smiled.
“I try my best,” you grinned.
Day 11: Pizza Delivery
Castiel collapses back in bed, his toes curling from the aftermath of his orgasm. In a minute, he will get up and wipe down Dean’s stomach, but right now his legs and arms refuse to cooperate. “That was…” he starts, turning his head to face Dean.
“Fucking awesome,” Dean finishes raising his hand.
Castiel rolls his eyes but obligingly slaps the proffered high-five.
When Dean first approached him in a bar after a long day of lecturing 250 half-asleep freshmen, Castiel would have taken him up on his offer even if Dean didn’t look like a movie star fresh out of a blockbuster Western, slightly affected drawl and all.
Dean maintains that it’s genuine from growing up in Kansas, but Castiel is a linguist specializing in the decline of regional dialects in the United States, so he knows better.
The next morning, Castiel left his number on a scrap of paper and attached it to Dean’s refrigerator. He half-expected Dean to throw it in the trash the minute Castiel was out his door, but, a week later, he received a text from an unknown number, asking if Castiel was free.
They don’t know each other, not really. Dean probably attended the same university Castiel teaches at, judging from the charm hanging from Dean’s keychain and a pair of socks bearing the university crest. Dean mentioned he works in construction and that he has a younger brother, but those are the only concrete facts Castiel knows for sure.
Dean wouldn’t even be in his apartment, but Castiel’s roommate took off in the morning for a day of grading essays in the main library, and Dean’s upstairs neighbor made some sort of eye-watering chili for lunch that practically smoked him out. As Castiel had zero desire to have sex with Dean on some secluded park bench or, God forbid, his office at the university, he brought Dean back to his place for the first time.
“Do you want pizza?” Dean asks.
Castiel exhales a slow breath. Pizza would be nice. He skipped his last meal to wrap up the last of his weekly quizzes. “Sure,” he tells Dean.
“There’s this great place near here where I meet my brother all the time, Paulie’s. D’you know it?”
“My roommate and I order from them frequently,” Castiel says, smiling. “Go ahead. Would you want pepperoni?”
Dean grins. “I’ll do you one better. Meat lover’s?”
Castiel chuckles as he reaches for the box of tissues on his nightstand and cleans up the mess he left on Dean’s stomach. “Can you believe I forgot that was an option? My roommate is practically vegetarian, so I haven’t had it in months.”
“A fucking tragedy,” Dean declares as he dials Paulie’s number and places their order. He sets his phone down, smirking over at Castiel. “Turns out I can take more meat after all.”
Castiel’s mouth falls open, a horrified snicker escaping him despite his best efforts. “That was terrible.”
Dean throws his head back and laughs.
Castiel just watches him, revelling in the sight and sound of Dean in his bed - in a wholly different manner than he was doing twenty minutes ago.
“You okay?” Dean asks.
“Just admiring you,” Castiel says honestly.
A vibrant flush crawls up Dean’s neck, over his cheeks. “Shut up.”
“You are very handsome,” Castiel defends.
Dean throws him an incredulous look. “Dude, I just made the lamest joke ever about meat.”
“I still laughed.”
Dean ducks his head. “Yeah, you did,” he mutters. He glances around, clearly trying to change the subject. “So this is your place.”
Castiel scans his room, trying to see it through Dean’s eyes. Castiel doesn’t possess any sort of desire for interior design, so his walls are devoid of art. It’s part of why he works so well with his roommate - they both aren’t prone to “nesting”, as Sam calls it. They decorated their apartment based on necessity, not aesthetics.
A few framed family photos sit on top of his wardrobe and a packed bookshelf sits between the two windows that face out onto the street. Overall, it’s not much. Rather bland, actually, compared to Dean’s.
It was the first thing Castiel noticed when he woke up that morning in Dean’s bed: a dozen framed movie posters covering his walls. Everything from Tombstone, to Ghostbusters, to Blade Runner, to Dirty Dancing, to Hell Hazers.
On a series of shelves next to his closet, Dean arranged a few dozen action figures in various combat or damsel in distress poses.
Castiel stares out at his own boring white walls. “I apologize for the lack of posters.”
Dean snorts. “Not everyone wants their bedroom to channel their inner 15-year-old kid. Your place looks like an actual adult lives here.”
“It’s very plain compared to yours.”
Most things about Castiel are plain compared to Dean, who swaggers into bars wearing a leather jacket and surprises everyone by hitting on men and women. Dean, who drops all sorts of culture references that Castiel can never hope to understand fully. Dean, who makes him laugh even when he has no idea what Dean is talking about.
Castiel has thought about asking Dean for more. Maybe a meal before they fall into bed together. If he was feeling especially daring, dinner and a movie.
But each time he opens his mouth, he sees Dean in that bar, chatting up a pretty, leggy blonde before striking out.
That night, the rejection slid off Dean like water off a duck’s back, and he moved onto Castiel. If Castiel had said no, Dean would have found the next person in line, and maybe they would be here instead, talking about the posters over Dean’s bed. And when Dean loses interest in Castiel, hopefully the next person will ask about his posters. He really seems to love them.
Dean shrugs, looking discomfited for the first time. “I grew up on the road,” he says in an undertone, “so I always wanted some place where I could put up as many posters as I wanted and, I dunno, collect stupid shit that just takes up space.”
Castiel turns to face him. “I like it,” he says after a beat. “It has character. I don’t have many interests outside my studies, and I’m not going to put up the phonetic alphabet on my walls.” He smiles wryly. “I already see the notation in my nightmares.”
“The phonetic alphabet?” Dean repeats, bemused.
Castiel reaches over to his nightstand and snags his tablet to pull up a recent reading he assigned his students. “It’s a standardized alphabet that academics use to write the sounds of speech.”
Dean squints at the screen before he hands it back. “It’s all Klingon to me, dude.”
Castiel frowns. “I don’t understand that reference.”
Dean rolls his eyes. “Next time you’re over at my place, we’re gonna watch Star Trek.” As soon as the words leave his mouth, he blushes furiously and averts his gaze.
Stunned, Castiel manages to say sincerely, “I’d like that.”
Dean’s head snaps up. “You would?”
“Indeed.”
“Oh,” Dean says, blinking a few times in shock, “awesome. That’s awesome.”
Castiel smiles, and Dean grins back.
“Thank god,” Dean says, slinging an arm over Castiel’s chest as he buries his face in the crook of his neck. “I can finally tell my brother to fuck off.”
“Did he want to watch Star Trek with you instead?” Castiel asks, amused.
“Worse - he’s been trying to set me up with his roommate,” Dean grumbles, his words slightly muffled. “He’s got some weird idea that we’d be perfect for each other.”
Ice freezes Castiel’s veins. “And you don’t think so?” he asks tentatively.
He feels more than sees Dean shrug. “He’s this super smart professor or something. What the fuck would we talk about?”
“I’m a professor.”
“But you’re hot.”
Castiel snorts as he raises a hand to gently rake his fingers through Dean’s hair. Dean shivers against him, letting out a pleased hum, and relaxes.
“And you don’t seem to care that I didn’t give it the ol’ college try.”
“You didn’t go to college?”
Dean raises his head to stare at him, his face guarded. “Uh, no. Just got my GED.”
“Then why the KU keychain?” Castiel can’t help but ask. “The socks?”
Dean huffs a dry laugh. “All from my brother. He’s a grad student now, but he did his undergrad there too.”
Castiel nods and motions for Dean to settle back down. Fingers back in Dean’s hair, he says quietly, “I went to college because everyone expected me to. Sometimes I wish I was brave enough not to.”
“But you’re a goddamn professor. Shouldn’t you be telling me college opens all these doors and all that bullshit?”
Castiel shrugs. “It depends on if you want to walk through those doors in the first place.” He inhales a sharp breath. “When I was younger, I really wanted to be a beekeeper.”
Dean doesn’t laugh, but he lets out a suspiciously choked-off noise.
“I looked into it. I didn’t need a degree to become an apiarist,” Castiel continues. “But there was so much pressure from my family - I still didn’t go into business, medicine, or law, but academia was just reputable enough to maintain my seat at the dinner table.”
Dean whistles. “Thank god my folks never cared about-”
The doorbell rings.
Castiel grimaces. “I’ll get it,” he volunteers, extricating himself from underneath Dean’s hold.
“No, wait, I ordered,” Dean protests as he stumbles out of bed and glances around for his clothes. “I should get it.”
Castiel waves his protests away. As he slides on a pair of boxers that may or may not be Dean’s, he says, “You’ll be providing the food while we watch Star Trek, yes?”
Dean beams over at him. “Hell, yes.”
“Then I'll pay this time.” Castiel roots around in his pants for his wallet but doesn’t bother putting them on as he makes his way to the front door. If he knows Dean at all, he’ll probably be up for round two after eating something.
He opens the door.
“I just realized I forgot my - ” Sam breaks off, slapping his hands over his eyes. “Sorry! I didn’t see anything.”
“It’s fine,” Castiel says wryly, not the least embarrassed by his state of undress. His old prep school tended to spit out boys who had no shame at all when it came to nudity or boys who had a panic attack if they had to take off their clothes. Castiel came out of that crucible decidedly on the former end of the spectrum.
Sam peeks through his fingers. “Okay, but still, my bad -” His eyes widen. “Are those Scooby Doo boxers?”
Castiel glances down curiously. “It seems so.”
“Oh my god,” Sam hisses, lowering his voice to barely a stage-whisper, “Do you have a guy over?”
Castiel glances back at his mostly-closed door before turning back around. “Yes?” He glowers at Sam. “You said you would be occupied all day!”
“Goddammit,” Sam swears, nose wrinkling and mouth turning down in a frown. “I was waiting for the right time, but I guess it’s too late to introduce you to my brother…” he drifts off, his eyes going wide as his gaze catches over Castiel’s shoulder, “… who’s already here.”
“Cas,” Dean calls exasperatedly from behind him, “This isn’t a porno, you don’t have to chat up the pizza guy-” He stops dead in his tracks, staring at Sam. “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Me?” Sam demands incredulously. “I live here! What the hell are you doing -” His gaze shifts back to Cas as he pales. “Oh my god, did you sleep together?”
“You’re Cas’s roommate?”
Sam’s eyes nearly bug out of his head. “You had sex with Castiel?”
Castiel glances between Sam and Dean and back again, hopelessly confused.
Dean waggles his eyebrows. “A few times, bitch. Now, where’s my pizza?”
“How the hell should I know?”
Castiel raises his voice. “You’re Dean’s brother?”
“Yeah,” Sam says as he throws an inscrutable look at Dean. “I’ve been meaning to bring him around since I moved in, but you know how it is in the beginning of the semester.” He walks around Castiel and ducks into his room.
“Well, at least you already met the family,” Dean says in an undertone as he sidles closer.
“You were planning on introducing me to your family?” Castiel asks, surprised and inordinately pleased.
Dean scowls as he catches his mistake. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, Casanova. First Star Trek. Then Swayze. Maybe Hobbits. Then family introductions since you apparently already know Sammy, and he’s the worst out of all of ’em.”
Sam pokes his head out of his room. “Did I hear Hobbits? Are you guys watching Lord of the Rings?”
“Not with you,” Dean shoots back automatically.
“And you said something about pizza earlier,” Sam says brightly.
“The worst,” Dean repeats, glaring fiercely.
Castiel tilts his head, studying both brothers thoughtfully. “I wouldn’t mind watching the Lord of the Rings and eating pizza with Sam.”
Dean throws his hands in the air. “Fine,” he says, “but he’s taking from your pizza share, not mine.”
“You did get veggie, right?” Sam asks hopefully.
Castiel shakes his head, and Dean just laughs.
“Mr. Coffee-Shop-Hotshot”
Pairing: Hikaru Hitachiin x f!reader Genre: fluff, angst, smut Warnings: jealous and possessive Hikaru, unprotected sex (wrap it up), a dash of degradation, choking, and I think that’s it lmao Summary: You’ve been dating Hikaru since high school but that doesn’t stop him from getting jealous of your coworker at the coffee shop Word Count: 4.1k words  A/N: characters are aged up!! Prompt #72 from my 1k Followers Event: “You’re Mine.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Hikaru have been sweethearts since high school. The thing is, when you two first started dating, no one thought it was going to last, seeing as how you two were literally enemies until Hikaru kissed you to shut you up. After that kiss, you two avoided each other until Kaoru tried talking to you while pretending to be Hikaru. You weren’t blind though. You could tell it was Kaoru instead of his twin. You played along until the end though, only revealing you knew it was really him until he got his point across. His point was “I’m sorry for treating you so poorly. I’m just not very good with feelings and I didn’t know how to face you after the kiss without arguing with you.” You figured that Kaoru wouldn’t say something like that unless Hikaru felt that way himself. So, you grew a pair and talked to Hikaru after he was done with the Host Club.
“It appears I’m going to be the man in this relationship.” was the first thing you said to him, to which he scoffed at because A. if anyone is going to be the man, it’s him and B. who says you two are in a relationship?
You just kissed him and that easily proved your point. From then on, you two started dating, to everyone’s surprise. Just because you two were dating though doesn’t mean you two stopped fighting. While everyone else has their honeymoon phase, you two went right to the old married couple stage. They weren’t ever serious fights though. One time you two argued about who had better eyes. Hikaru couldn’t admit to you that it was definitely you and you couldn’t admit to him that it was actually him, so you both claimed that it was yourselves.
After that phase ended though, you two went into the honeymoon phase, which just confused everyone, including you and Hikaru. Suddenly, him leaving his used cup on your bedside table didn’t bother you anymore. You’ll just bring it down with you when you go downstairs. Hikaru realized that he didn’t mind you having your clothes thrown out in every other direction in his room anymore. His maid will just clean it up anyway. No harm done.
The honeymoon ‘phase’ was more annoying to everyone than the old married couple phase. Now, instead of you two arguing who wants the last piece of candy, you two are ‘arguing’ about who gets to kiss who last. It makes everyone gag. Honey senpai seems to think it’s really sweet though.
That was four years ago and now, you two are just as bad now as you were back then. Everyone, luckily and unluckily, decided to go to the same university. It is way out of your price range but that wasn’t going to stop your boyfriend of four years from getting you to go there. “I’ll pay off all your bills, babe. Don’t worry,” he’ll always reassure you despite your worries and nagging. You refuse to let him pay for it all though, so you got a job.
It was actually pretty easy to nail the job, seeing as how it’s at the coffee shop where you and the gang always went for energy boosters and to study. You were already friends with the manager from going in there so much, so when you asked if they were hiring, they practically hired you on the spot.
Hikaru didn’t like you having a job though.
“Why do you even work here? I can pay for everything, babe. You don’t have to worry about it. So why don’t you just quit? I miss hanging out with you,” he complains every time you leave for work, when he shows up to your work, and when you come back to your shared apartment. His argument, in your royal opinion, is stupid. If anything, you see him too much as it is. I mean, you already live with the guy and have half of your classes with him. What more does he want from you?
It took him a month to finally accept the fact that yes, you will pay for things yourself, and no, you are not quitting just because he wants you to. Once he realizes that you can secretly give him free coffee though, not that price ever mattered to him, he was happy. “Okay, but I also want a free muffin,” he finally agreed.
It was like that for maybe half a year before new problems started to arise. Your boss hired a new guy who you don’t even know the name of yet but, oh, Hikaru hates him already. “I don’t like him. He smells like too much Axe body spray and he has a weird, purple piercing in his eyebrow. And! And, he has a tattoo. A tattoo! Who does he think he is,” Hikaru complains to you while you try to do homework. He had gotten your schedule mixed up and when he went to go see you on your day off, he ran into the new guy. You weren’t surprised that he could tell he’s new since Hikaru is practically there as much as you are. He knows everyone and, of course, everyone loves him.
Not this guy though, apparently.
“When he gave me my coffee, it tasted off! Then, I realized, he didn’t add sugar! I didn’t say anything about sugar!” he continues to rant, making you sigh and set your pencil down. You turn to face him now, placing your hand over his and soothingly rubbing your thumb over his smooth skin.
“Baby, I’m sure it was an accident. He’s new, remember? I’m sure he just forgot to add it,” you reassure, giving his cheek a kiss once he takes a deep breath and lets it all go in one breath.
“Fine. I guess you’re right. But if he messes up again, I won’t hesitate to say something next time!” You giggle at this and nod your head, giving him a proper kiss this time to relax him even more.
“Okay, baby. You do that,” you tease before going back to your homework. This, of course, was just not okay.
“Babe, we’ve been studying for hours. Let’s take a break,” he coos, moving closer to you and starting to place kisses along your neck. You try to ignore him and focus but your boyfriend knows you too well. Knows your body too well.
“You mean I’ve been studying for hours. You’ve just been talking and playing on your phone,” you tease, a gasp ripping from you when he sucks and nibbles on your sweet spot. You feel him smirk against your skin, his hands coming to squeeze your thighs.
“Fair point. Makeout with me a little and then, and only then, will I study,” he bargains, making you roll your eyes.
“Fat chance,” you decline him as you playfully push him away, making him whine loudly.
“But baby—”
“No. Study and then, and only then, will I makeout with you,” you bargain right back, a smirk of your own coming to your face.
“You’re wicked,” he says with a dramatic gasp and a hand across his heart. When you don’t reply or even react, he groans before finally picking up his pencil. “Fine! You better take your shirt off too then,” he snaps before focusing on his work. Most of your study sessions go like this.
The next day at work, the new guy, Ritsu, came in in the middle of your shift. Your boss introduced the two of you once he put his stuff away in his locker, the guy seeming nervous for his next shift today. You smile at him and shake his hand, reassuring him that you’ll help him out today. He seems to relax at this, thanking you before starting to get to work. Whenever he had a question or messed up, you were right there to help him. The day, overall, went pretty smoothly you think.
At the end of your shifts, he grabs his things from his locker before walking to the front with you. “Do you need a ride home?” he asks as he walks over to his motorcycle. You smile at him but shake your head, taking your phone out of your pocket to check your messages.
“No, that’s okay. My boyfriend is picking me up and taking me out to dinner. Thank you though!” you reply with a sweet smile, Ritsu flashing you a smile back as he climbs onto his motorcycle.
“Okay, good. I didn’t want you walking home alone at night. I heard there was a robbery a couple of roads away from here,” he explains as he pulls his helmet on.
“Oh yeah. It was at the corner gas station. That’s so sweet of you to think of me though. I’ll be sure to let you know if I ever need a ride!” you thank once more. He nods as he turns the vehicle on, bidding you farewell with a salute before pulling out of the parking lot and onto the road.
You check the time and see that you have a few minutes until your boyfriend gets there. Luckily, he seemed to have left early because, within the next minute, he’s stopping right in front of you. “Well, hello there, good lookin’. Do you need a ride?” he playfully flirts. You hum and pretend to think about it as you walk over to his window.
“Well, I don’t know. Are you going to show me a good time?” you playfully flirt right back. He hums as he happily lets his eyes trail over your body despite your hideous work clothes. He didn’t seem to mind them though.
“Oh, you have no idea, baby. Don’t tell my girlfriend though.” You scoff as you burst into a fit of giggles, lightly hitting his arm before going to the passenger side.
“Well, that depends. Am I prettier than her?” you reply, batting your eyelashes at him as you slide into the car and pull your seatbelt over your body. He hums and nods his head, putting the car in reverse as he replies.
“Oh, most definitely. She’s like a fat cow,” he jokes, making you scoff and hit him again.
“I don’t think your girlfriend would appreciate you saying such things about her. What if I decide to tell her what you said about her?” you argue, crossing your arms over your chest as if you’re mad at him. You know for a fact that he’d never cheat on you. You always tease him that he’s too obsessed with you. ‘I love you! I’m not obsessed with you! There’s a difference!’ he’d always argue to your joking jab.
Before he can leave the parking spot, he stops the car to look at you with this new glint in his eyes. “What if I eat you out so good that you can’t even remember your own name, let alone mine?” he whispers right into your ear, his tongue licking around the shell of your ear. You let out a shaky breath, not expecting his sudden change in this little game you two were playing.
“I doubt you’re any good,” you sass, it lacking the power that you want it to have. He pulls away from the side of your head to make eye contact with you again, his eyes shining with a newfound lust.
“Well, I’ve only ever been with my girlfriend, so it’s possible. You should hear the way she screams my name though. She’ll cum three times from my mouth and fingers alone before I even give what she really wants inside of her,” he says lowly, your eyes moving to watch his lips as he talks. You press your legs together, already starting to feel arousal bubbling low in your gut.
“Is she any good in bed?” you decide to ask, bringing the attention off of him. You wait for him to say something along the lines of ‘no, she’s horrible’ but it seems he decides to stop playing your little game all of a sudden.
“She’s better than good. She sucks me off like I’m a popsicle and she just got out of the desert. She’s always so desperate to unravel me but I never do only because I know it works her up even more. She then starts acting like a brat, trying to get her way. We both know that’s just her way of annoying me to the point that I punish her. Mmhm, her screams sound so good when her face is shoved into our mattress,” he replies, his voice dropping an octave or two. You gulp at this, feeling your panties dampen with your slick.
“No wonder she’s your girlfriend,” you whisper, your throat suddenly too dry for your liking. He only hums before continuing with his driving, grabbing your hand and kissing the back of it once you two get on the road.
“What do you want to eat? I’m kind of in the mood for Mexican,” he says to you as if he didn’t just make you so horny that the only thing you can think about is having him inside of your mouth instead of food.
“That sounds fine,” you say softly, trying to think of anything but that. He smirks at the way you sound, which is slightly wrecked, and starts to head in the direction of a Mexican restaurant that you two like. That night ended, of course, with him deep inside of you and grunting out all sorts of deliciously dark things into your ear.
Things continued on like normal for a while. You went to work but didn’t get to work with Ritsu again for a week, so Hikaru never ran into him again. The day you did work with him though, he seemed to be struggling more than usual. So, when there was a break in customers, you decide to ask him what was up.
“Sorry. I got into this fight with my girlfriend, Mei, this morning,” he explains, a frown hanging heavy on his face. You nod your head, only too familiar with that feeling. You and Hikaru don’t have serious fights a lot but you, obviously, have them just like every other couple.
“It’s okay. I understand. Do you want to talk about it? Maybe I can give you my opinion or some advice?” you offer, wanting to help him feel better. He thinks about your offer for a moment before sighing and giving in, starting to tell you everything that had happened that morning. You two occasionally pause to help a customer but always end up focusing back on his situation. As a woman yourself, you look at his story from her point of view and figure out what might be the cause of her frustrations.
“Okay,” you say once he finishes his story, “I think I see what the problem is.” You then tell him what you think and what he should do to mend their relationship. After hearing your advice, he realized what he did wrong and gets so excited that he hugs you.
“Thank you so much! It all makes sense now! No wonder she was so upset! You’re seriously a lifesaver! I owe you one!” He hugs you tightly, making you giggle and return the hug.
“It’s no problem at all,” you reassure. You two pull away when you hear the bell ring, automatic smiles coming to your face to greet your new customer. Your eyes widened when you saw your boyfriend instead though. A very angry and brooding boyfriend at that. “Babe? What are you doing here? I thought you weren’t going to be here for another hour?” you ask confusedly, walking around the counter to give him your usual hug and kiss.
His eyes are on Ritsu though.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Do you not want me here? Am I interrupting something?” he snaps, his eyes squinting at Ritsu as he says this. Your brows furrow at his words, stopping in front of him and dropping your arms since it’s obvious that he’s not going to give you a hug.
“What? Well, I’m working but—”
“Oh, sorry to bother you then. I’ll let you get right back to it,” he snaps, turning his glare to you before leaving without another word. He doesn’t stop or turn around when you call after him either, making you sigh as a frown comes to your face.
“What’s up with him?” you mumble, trying to think as to why he would be mad. That’s when it hit you. You hugging Ritsu? Did that upset him? But why? You hug guys all of the time. Well, not all of the time. And then again, they’re his friends too or your family. You snap out of your daze when the bell jingles again, signaling a new customer. You sigh and go back behind the counter, smiling and greeting the customer happily. Guess you’ll just have to talk to him about it later then.
When you get off work and you get back home, you find that Hikaru isn’t home. You think back to what he was telling you yesterday, remembering him telling you his plans for today. You check the time on the microwave before looking at your fridge for any notes. He doesn't have any plans right now that you are aware of and he didn’t leave a note telling you where he was going or when he’ll be back. Maybe there was an emergency? That just makes you worry more though.
You let it go with a heavy exhale, trying not to read too much into it. You don’t have to know where he is every second of every day.
You go to your bathroom to take a shower and get the smell of coffee off of you. You end up accidentally using his body wash though, the smell of cinnamon and ginger filling your nostrils. It’s not your favorite but it’s what he’s been using for years. He pulls off the smell really well though.
You step out of the shower and wrap yourself up in a baby blue towel, leaning against the sink to look at your skin in the mirror. After applying some lotion to your body to make you feel extra nice, you leave the bathroom. You stop at the door though when you find Hikaru sitting on the bed, his feet still on the floor and his hands hanging between his knees. Now you’re even more concerned. Normally, he would’ve jumped at the opportunity to take a shower with you but now he won’t even look at you.
“Hikaru,” you call out softly to him, seeming to bring him out of his daze. You walk over to him and come to stand in between his legs, making him sit up straighter. His eyes glaze over your bare collarbones and neck, something spurring to life in his eyes as water droplets cascade down your soft skin.
“You’re mine,” he says suddenly, his eyes snapping to yours. Your eyes widen a bit at this random declaration, your brow raising curiously at him.
“What?” is your brilliant reply to him. You gasp when he stands and switches your positions in a flash, the back of your knees hitting the bed before you fall back onto it. You gape up at him, your hands clinging to the front of your towel.
“You heard me. You’re mine!” he growls, his hands snagging your towel away from you before you can even attempt to stop him. His eyes wander your body, a dark look in his eyes as he takes his sweet time admiring your naked body.
“Hikaru,” you breathe his name, goosebumps crawling over your flesh. He hums in response, one of his knees coming to the bed so he can lean over you, his fingers starting to trace random lines and patterns into your skin.
“That’s right. Say my name, baby,” he coos, his fingers coming to tweak your nipples. You moan his name in response, back arching up into his hands. He watches you with attentive eyes, not daring to look away from your lewd expressions or wet hole for even a second. He loves how quickly you react to his touch, your body always craving his as much as his craves yours. “Who do you belong to?” he asks as he crawls completely over you, staring into your eyes as he lets his hands crawl down your body.
“You,” you whisper breathlessly.
“Who?” he growls, suddenly shoving two of his fingers into your drooling heat.
“You, Hikaru!” you cry, back arching when he slips a third finger in. He hums lowly as he pumps his fingers in and out of you, scraping the pads of his fingers against your g-spot to get you really moaning for him.
“That’s right, baby. You’re all mine, now and forever,” he whispers before pulling his fingers out, making you whimper. He brings his dry hand up to your throat, squeezing it lightly as he stares into your eyes. “Shut up! Dirty whores like you don’t get to cum until I say so,” he hisses, not letting your neck go as he uses his other hand to remove his pants and boxers. “‘M gonna fill you up, remind you that you only belong to me,” he mumbles, his hand frantically trying to pull his member free.
Your brows furrow at this as you bring your hands up to his chest. Before you can question him though, he starts to push into you. You both groan in sync as he slips inside, your eyes rolling back into your head for a moment. You forget about his words for now, your brain only thinking about the way he feels inside of you.
He just barely bottoms out before he’s already pulling back to thrust back in, starting a frantic pace. You moan his name loudly, your nails lightly scratching his chest, causing him to hiss. He keeps up the frenzied pace, your breasts bouncing with each thrust.
You both cum almost at the same time, Hikaru finally giving you permission to cum after denying you your orgasm over and over again. He keeps true to his word, pushing deep inside of you and coating your walls white. He stays inside of you for a while, his chest heaving as he tries to get air back. He slowly releases your throat, and instead brushes his fingers against your cheek.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers, his eyes shining with regret. You’re confused for a moment, thinking that that’s some of the best sex you’ve ever had. Then you remember his words from before, how he kept saying you’re his and that no one is going to take you from him.
“What’s going on, my love?” you whisper, still a little breathless. He looks away from you, starting to worry his lip between his teeth.
“Don’t leave me for him,” he whispers, and if you weren’t just a couple of inches away from him, you wouldn’t have heard it. He pulls out of you then and moves to lay beside you, putting his back to you.
“What? Hey. Hey, look at me,” you say worriedly, pushing yourself up onto your elbow as you use your free hand to gently trace random shapes into his back. It takes him a minute but he eventually turns onto his back, staring at the ceiling instead of you. “What’s all this ‘leaving me’ talk about? We’ve been dating for years, Hikaru. Why would I want to leave you for someone else?” you ask with furrowed brows, starting to run your hand through his hair to help soothe him. He leans into your touch, his eyes finally meeting yours. Despite your reassuring words, he looks scared, worried.
“What about Mr. Coffee-Shop-Hotshot? You seemed to like him a lot,” he grumbles, his mouth turning into a scowl just at the thought of the man. You can’t help but smile at how jealous he is, your heart swelling with the amount of love you hold for the man before you.
“You dope, he was asking me for advice about his girlfriend. That hug happened because he was thanking me for basically saving his relationship,” you inform, a smirk on your face as you watch the realization come over his face.
“Oh,” he squeaks out, his face turning sheepish and red. You snort and move to lay your head down on his chest.
“You’re such an idiot. You should know by now that you’re the one for me, idiot and all,” you tease, gently rubbing his chest and abdomen. He huffs and wraps his arms around you, holding you tightly to him.
“Whatever. As if you wouldn’t get upset if I was hugging another girl,” he accuses.
“You act as if another girl would even come near someone as ugly as you,” you tease, obviously joking.
“Hey!”
