i'm ecstatic you like it!!!!! tbh BON-BON is growing on me so algae-like that i need to elevate other characters so he doesn't overtake them😅 i'm sure some ppl know how it is when a supporting character kinda starts to overshadow the mains accidentally. but instead of cutting him down, the others will rise instead. also you're right, BON-BON has confidence but he's not as well-versed in relationships and social knowledge as he presents himself. he's naive, a little. and he has a mental hierarchy of AI at the bottom, living beings at the top that's being challenged by how carelessly Y/N is being treated.

i ADORE writing Moon! so when he was throwing the fish at Y/N, he was mimicking their tactic of using food to lure him forward. kinda like how they were doing with the crabs in that moment. he wanted to form some kind of trust using food and make them come closer. at that point he had yet to see them without their mask, so to his knowledge other communication methods like speech weren't available.

heeheehoo i wanted him to look very dazzling during the hypnotism scene🥰😳 and i noticed with half of his face covered with the esca he looks more human?? which would help with luring humans bc it kinda obscures the uncanny valley aspect of his usual face shape. i love drawing all of them!

4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

Honestly? Before I started Scream AU, it was an ATLA Scream AU! I held onto that idea for YEARS because I wanted to make sure I could do it right - everyone is a suspect, everyone is in danger, & there's a lot of foreshadowing but also a lot of twists. I waited until I felt prepared to do the idea justice, so I've held onto it for a long time. Like, that idea festered in my brain for at least 3 or 4 years. I guess it doesn't count anymore though, since I'm doing it.

Hm... I have a million ideas at all times but one I've had for a pretty long time is Heathers ATLA AU with Katara as Veronica, Azula as Heather Chandler, & Zuko or Jet as JD. Unfortunately, I'll likely never do this one because it wouldn't have Azula/Katara endgame & Azula would die so I doubt anyone who reads my writing wants it.

7. tell us about the plot of the first fanfic you ever wrote

The first fic I EVER wrote? You guys don't need to know about 13 year old Rose's weird Family Guy fanfics, your minds aren't ready. (Also I don't remember & the parts I do remember are embarrassing as fuck lmao.)

Instead, I'll say the first ATLA fanfic I wrote. It's a mediocre high school AU that has Katara/Toph LOL. I was getting my bearings in the ATLA fandom, okay? Also, it is the fic that made the Katara/Azula dynamic take root in my brain even though it's not a focus & I didn't write my first Azutara fic until a bit later lol

11. what’s something neat you’ve learned while doing research for something you were writing? also, how much do you worry about doing research in general?

I learned a lot about fashion through the ages when I was writing the TVD Au & giving Vampire!Azula a fun wardrobe filled with fashion from the last century or so. Do I remember anything I learned? Eh. But I did a lot of research!

I don't typically do a lot of research though for writing. My laziest trait as a writer is that sometimes I just wanna say "go with it." I entirely based the football stuff in my college AU on the TV show Blue Mountain State. That's not to say research isn't important, that's to say I'm lazy.

30. most inspirational quote you’ve ever read or heard that’s still important to you.

Okay, I really live by the quote "if nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do" from Angel the Series which is funny because I'm barely a fan of that show. I've watched it all through once. I'm much more of a Buffy girl. But that particular quote has always stuck with me. I'm a nihilist but I'm also a compassionate person & I think this quote really sums up how I look at the world. I used to be an idealist but my belief that the world can be changed for the better has faded over time. Instead, I just believe in being kind & doing what you can & that's how I take the quote - doing what you can, even when it seems hopeless. That seems depressing but like, it's not to me. You know?

47. what story are you most proud of?

I honestly go back & forth all the time. I feel like it might actually be Happenstance (a modern university ATLA au with a sit com vibe. It takes place over the course of a school year.) I'm honestly just so proud of the character arcs, the balance of comedy & drama, & these versions of the characters & this version of the universe. I put my heart & soul into that project.

I admittedly like Marie's arc a lot, though it does suffer from feeling very inorganic, being added after the fact in Golden. But given the point of her, that almost suits her? She is the constant spare, she exists in a room that lives in the subconscious mind, she has no memories of before. Like, of course she has a strangeness to her, like a hanger-on to creation.

I am still unsure who the fuck she is since it wasn't revealed in her max scene, but she feels like a by-product of creation, like the leftovers of some alchemic process that was needful and necessary, and has the baggage of not having been part of that necessity, if that makes sense?

Anyway, her resolution is realizing she is making memories, so even if she started with nothing, she is far from that now. Good for her! Thanks for the comb. I'm gonna donate it to a cultural museum.

ONGOING: FORTUNE

Over in Naoto's link, this Phantom Thief person keeps stealing stuff from the Shirogane Estate and planting the items to be found around Inaba.

Because, yanno, it's probably Naoto's grandfather who is trying to get them to reconnect to the passion of their youth and remind him that he's allowed to be a child still. I mean, if its not that, I will be fucking stunned.

Naoto's link is surprising me in how.... meh it is. I was really geared up to either be really angry or really relieved (like I was with Kanji's) but Naoto is giving me nothing! He's way more interesting in the main scenario, honestly, why he gets to do stuff.

But maybe there will be an upcoming turn. Admittedly, I think the entire idea of Naoto's arc revolving about this little sideplot is just Meh. I'll try to finish it out but who knows.

my thoughts on every just dance 2024 dance part 1

since just dance 2024 edition is coming, i decided to do my honest thoughts on each of its maps! i don't have all the time to do any just dance coach cosplay edits, so i did this to kind of see what's cooking in the fanbase as well as the franchise. let's start with the first five including sail.....

Sail (AWOLNATION) - wow i love the visuals for this one! it gives me the sea beast vibes (obviously) and the song is pretty good, even if i never heard of them before

How You Like That (BLACKPINK) - as a kpop fan, i honestly think the map isn't really my taste but we'll see when the game is released. i love the coach outfits and the fact that they did the official choreography. i also do like the song

Tití Me Preguntó (Bad Bunny) - hate me on this one but the song doesn't get my interest as well as the coaches (except 1). however, i do like that the map is inspired by just dance 2020-2021

I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Whitney Houston) - oh my gosh i love this one so far! a lot of it is lively from the map to the coach and it makes me feel like going to a dance party. also, i love that they used the original version instead of a cover.

My Name Is (D Billions) - because i'm having a hard time right now, i actually love this map asides i wanna dance with somebody! at first, i didn't want just dance to add it but i love how they handled this one. i must say that the without me coaches are having fun there!

Thank you sm <3 I'm feeling much better today about it. He was only 8 months old and never went on the roads only in our garden, but he must off jumped onto the shed and off the side fence and couldn't get back up cus that fence is high and ran into the road. It was horrible because we really thought he may survive but decided to euthanize him after we got told he'd be paralysed and not be very happy. Personality wise I'm EXTREMELY introverted and can easily spend all day in my room. I'm very shy initially, but once I'm in a comfortable environment I'm what could be called a 'class clown'. My sense of humor is inappropriate and I cuss a lot, and I tend to be bratty just because I think it's fun.

Despite being a huge introvert, I actually love to perform. I'm a trained singer and can act as well, so I love being in plays. (My favorite roles have been Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Vivian in Legally Blonde, and Snow White in Into the Woods). I also like to write songs as well, but it's been a while since I've written one and I'm DEFINITELY rusty.

I ADORE horror movies and games. I get all kinds of inspiration from creepy stuff and often incorporate it into my writing. I get scared pretty easily though for such an avid horror fan like,, you'd think I'd be immune.

I'm a picky eater and am insecure about it, so dates at restaurants tend to make me nervous. I have big food texture aversion and would rather starve than eat something with a nasty texture.

I'm really high maintenance skincare wise and have such a problem buying masks and lotions and such. But ya know what it could be drugs, so-

My love language is physical touch 1000%. I adore all physical touch and if I ever say I don't wanna cuddle YES I DO. I also just,, really enjoy being tickled it makes me feel so loved and soft inside so a boyfriend that would tickle me a lot would make me vvvv happy

Honestly, he is so happy, he will rush to the stage, pick you up and cover your face in huge showman kisses.

Once you are dating, you aren't getting just kisses, oh no! Floyd has absolutely no shame, he will come to your doorstep to whine for you to let him in so the two of you can do fun stuff together...!

Oh yes, the two of you will be playing horror games until late at night! Floyd finds horror as funny as a regular person would like comedy and the fact that you love horror also and fear it at the same time is just hilarious.

The young man will sneak his hand behind you and pinch your butt when you least expect it, making you shriek like a banshee and he laughs so hard he falls from your bed and rolls on the floor. Expect apology nibbles. Yes, nibbles, not kisses, but apology nibbles.

Floyd is a good cook once he gets in the mood to actually cook, but he will take notice of your pickiness and how you like your food to be served. It's the least he can do.

It's common knowledge that Mers have to protect their skin, even as humans, so they won't dry out. You and Floyd have a kind of symbiotic deal going on. You help him with skincare and he feeds you good food.
