"There you are," Porsche murmurs, brushing a thumb along Kim's cheek bone. The skin is flushed red from where he rubbed away Kim's makeup. Porsche prefers him like this; fresh-faced and clean, none of the act he tried to put on, even if his eyes still look a little lost. "You were really worried, huh? You haven't gotten that dolled up for me in a long time."

"I knew you would be fine." It's meant to come out waspish and dismissive, Porsche knows. Instead it comes out sounding small and scared, like Kim didn't quite believe it. Like he still doesn't, even with Porsche standing here before him, freshly washed and injuries tended to by Kim's own hands. Whole and safe. Porsche lightly cuffs him under his chin with a smile, knowing Kim needs the reassurance.

"Only because I knew I had you and Chay waiting for me." At the mention of Chay's name, Kim closes his eyes and lets out a little sigh. Porsche has been rid of any evidence of the night, blood and soot and ash, and Kim is back to himself. It's Chay's turn to be taken care of. "Come on, let's go see him."
