I like to think that the extended family just hang around McDuck Manor. Sometimes, Drake chills in the living room, Selene does yoga in the hallways, Fenton and Manny casually build a Lego house on the steps of the stairs, Djinn has lunch with them etc. The actual residents all consider it completely normal.

But, as per usual when it comes to the Mcduck family, there's an equal chance that "hanging around" leads to chaos taking place.

Gyro could just as easily be trying to stop another evil invention from destroying everyone as he could be making coffee. Sure, Panchito and Jose might be grilling barbeque but they also might be engaging in a singing battle with a rival band who turn out to be nixies. It's possible that Fethry's there to borrow some books from Scrooge but it's also possible that he's come to warn the family about an old villain who's recently reappeared.

Kinda wanna attempt to write a story about Willow’s first christmas with Donald and Gyro

But asdfgg effort…

#it makes no sense bc they had her since she was an egg #but let me indulge in the idea of them celebrating when she’s a lil older to retain memories #I always saw Donald as the festive parent who goes all out in decorating #and Gyro is the parent who doesn’t care about the holidays but he’ll do the bare minimum to make his partner happy #so I just like to imagine Donald going all out with decorating the house and even tries to help Willow make her christmas gift for Santa #meanwhile Willow asks Gyro if Santa is actually real or if Dad is going crazy #I can imagine Gyro says ‘no but just play along it makes dad happy’#and Willow does lol #how very wholesome
