Adjective: Adamant

Noun: Flood

Definitions for those who need/want them:

Adamant: refusing to be persuaded or to change one's mind

Flood: an overflowing of a large amount of water beyond its normal confines, especially over what is normally dry land; the biblical flood brought by God upon the earth because of the wickedness of the human race (Gen. 6 ff.); the inflow of the tide; (literary) a river, stream, or sea; an outpouring of tears or emotion; a very large quantity of people or things that appear or need to be dealt with; short for floodlight

#im rather late again #my reason this time is that my girlfriend and i just finished watching good omens seasons 2 tonight #my emotions are a fucking wreck right now #(talk about 'adamant' 'flood's am i right?)#anyway this prompt has a lot of options due to 'flood's definitions #however i likely will stick with the first one #that mixed with 'adamant' makes it sound so forceful and dangerous #and exploring the ferocity of nature is something im interesting in doing with my poetry #so i will probably go that route #thanks for reading #writing #writer #creative writing #writing prompt #writeblr #trying to be a writeblr at least
