Can I ask what 1-B would be like with an S/O who shows their feelings mainly through lots of cooking and feeding?
Not proofread we die like men
Awase - anything his s/o makes for him he will eat pretty quickly and then talk about how good it was for 5 minutes lmao. Like you blink and the food is gone. Fucking inhaled that shit.
Sen - he always asks his s/o for little snacks and stuff when he goes training and for similar things. He wont directly say anything specific about the foods but he will silently find ways to thank his s/o
Kamakiri - he wont openly say anything about it but he will point out if his s/o stopped. If they stop cooking for him he will point it out and say he rlly liked the food and they should cook for him more ykyk?
Kuroiro - he wont eat much of anything unless you cooked it at this point lmao. Like he will if he has too but he will always prefer his s/os cooking over anyone elses
Kendo - she loves when her s/o cooks for her and she started asking for them to teach her how to cook the things they've made her so she can return the favor
Kodai - if her s/o has a tendency to give her food as a love language then her love language becomes getting them the ingredients. She likes helping them prepare the foods and such but still lets her s/o do most of the hard stuff.
Komori - every time her s/o brings her food she immediately starts gushing about how good it is and she insists on sharing it with them
Shiozaki - whenever you cook for her she will pack it up and eat it as a mid gardening snack or for her lunch that day at school. Then later she will always make sure to tell her s/o how much she liked it and that they should make it again sometime.
Shishida - hes pretty large and his quirk takes up a lot of his energy so he needs to eat and sleep quite a bit. So if his s/os love language is cooking him things he loves it more than he could show.
Shoda - it dosent matter what it is he will eat his s/os cooking every time without fail and he will quietly thank them every time they make him something.
Pony - shes always so happy when her s/o makes her anything. She will give her s/o the biggest hug and gush about how good the food is <3
Tsubaraba - hes a bit of a picky eater but no matter how bad something his s/o made is he will eat all of it. He dosent have to worry about that though since he likes all of his s/os food
Tetsutetsu - if his s/o makes him something to eat they will be forced to listen to him talk about how manly knowing to cook is for at least five minutes. Every dish his s/o makes is the best dish ever according to Tetsu (and he will make sure everyone nearby knows)
Tokage - she instantly starts to praise her s/o about how good their cooking is while insisting they have some of what they made too. She will share it with them, they dont get a choice.
Manga - manga likes to take the little snacks hos s/o makes him and use what they taste like as inspiration for his next drawing (if that makes sense lmao) every time his s/o cooks him something he draws them something and hides it in their bag or room for them to find <3
Honenuki - he also really loves cooking and his love language is acts of service so whenever he sees you cooking him something he always helps in any way. He will run to the store to get a single spice if his s/o asked
Bondo - its the highlight of his day when his s/o comes to him with some food they made. No matter what his s/o made him he loves it every time.
Monoma - he keeps 'complaining' about how hes trying to stay nimble and thin for the sake of his quirk or whatever but at the same time he always eats everything his s/o makes and he even scolds them for not cooking him stuff in a while lmao.
Reiko - she likes the little snacks her s/o makes over the full course meals. Dont get me wrong she eats it no matter what but she prefers the snack foods to eat so he can share with her s/o while they watch a movie or smthn
Rin - he loves his s/os cooking lmao. He will always ask for little snacks when hes about to study or smthn like that. He insists on helping when they cook as well.

Basic Training
This post has been sitting in my drafts for months now, during which I've come up with a few ways I wanted to write this post. This is what I've come up with.
Tumblr media
Basic Training is the episode which made me hate Ben the most. The whole episode consisted him of being a stuck up brat only to be rewarded for it in the end.
This episode was the perfect opportunity to have Kevin in the spotlight and show how skilled and smart he is.
Gwen's presence in this episode was actually fine, there's no change needed for that.
Look, I know the shows named Ben 10 but we have seen Ben be the hero tons of times already.
And Ben being egoistic about his heroism is not something new in the franchise.
There have been episodes on the OS where Ben got a big head, yet I dont ever see anyone complaining about that.
Was is it because he was 10 that we excuse this behaviour? Nope.
15 - 16 is still pretty young and his attitude can be excused at this age as well.
My opinion? It was handled better in the OS.
There were times when Ben wasn't always the main focus.
Tumblr media
In Lucky Girl, Ben has his ' who's your hero?' Moment.
They showed Gwen feeling jealous and hurt by the fact she wasn't noticed much.
It was realistic.
Then the epsiode proceeded to focus on Gwen , having Ben being kind of like a sub plot to the story.
Towards the end Ben compliments her.
So yeah Ben got big head, but at the same time they shifted focus so that the audience wouldn't find it annoying.
Gwen was in the spotlight for a bit, giving people a break from Ben.
Tumblr media
Secondly  , in Be Afraid Of The Dark, Ben again is shown to be slightly stuck up, but towards the end of that episode he learns and acknowledges Gwen and Grandpa for help and understands his crime fighting is more of a team effort.
Tumblr media
In Galactic Enforcers, we are shown there are other heros besides Ben as well.
Ben wasn't the sole focus of that episode. Yes it was about him but also about the Galactic Enforcers.
I don't think he was shown to be over confident here , but it was nice to see some other heros in the scene.
Tumblr media
The Ben 10,000 episode focuses on how Ben was too focused on his job and the lesson at that was Ben needed to relax and have them Galactic Enforcers take the lead instead.
Again , his attitude towards everything was brought in focus but towards the end he learnt something.
Tumblr media
I recently started watching Generator Rex and I can't help but compare Rex's character to Ben's.
Rex is also proud , rushes into things and considers himself to be a hotshot. But they also show him being down ,having trouble with his nanites and actually voice out his insecurities.
He's still the hero, still has things go his way most times but it's not annoying like Ben.
( I've only seen like 7 episodes so far so I don't know if this going to go down hil or not but so far so good)
The issue with the sequels after the OS was that Ben was the focus a bit too much.
We as the audience were rarely ever given a break from him.
Other than a few conversations here and there about his attitude,  nothing really was done about it.
Gwen should've been appreciated more for saving Kevin and Kevin should've been appreciated for stopping Aggregor.
But they weren't.
If it had been Ben , they would've made sure to show him getting some sort of recognition or trophy.
Tumblr media
Back to the Basic Training episode.
We know he's the legendary Ben Tennyson, we know he's a hero. We didn't need another episode on it.
Instead the plot should've focused on Kevin. His skills, his abilities.
Ben would act the same but Magsiter Hulka should've put some sort of cover so Ben couldn't use the omnitrix.
Ben goes on breaking rules,  and having a hard time being a hero without the watch.
Towards the end, it should've been Kevin who cracks the case and saves Hulka. Ben is mad he can't use the omnitrix but instead uses the guns and other weapons he's learnt to use at the academy
He's not amazing at them , but it makes him realise that he is hero , watch or not, something that has been emphasised in the show. Its not impossible for him to function without the watch.
Towards the end, Ben getting a 95 was a stretch. I'm sorry , but the guy wasn't great with using weapons and without the watch I dont think he would've been able to complete that hostage excercise.
I'm thinking more like 89%.
Gwen gets 98, that's fine and Kevin gets a 100.
Hulka comes in and awards the medal (?) to Kevin, suggesting he's becoming more like his father.
( im ignoring the ret con, plus the retcon I'm assuming wasnt thought off at this point by the writers)
Ben is shown to take one of the guns back to earth, because he thinks they're cool and he wants to practice and get better at them.
The whole hostage situation makes him want to get better at making strategies.
Yes he's good at improv, but he needs to learn to properly plan as well.
It doesn't matter if he's never shown to use the gun ever again, and he's back to relying on the omnitrix.
Or maybe some time down the line, he could use the weapon, even if it for a second, to show that he is improving and getting better.
Before you say 'he's already a hero, he doesn't need to learn anything ' sorry but no.
He's 16. He may have saved the world but he still has growing up to do. Different battles are going to arise all the time.
Saying he is perfect at 16 is dumb. Saying he's perfect when he's ben 10k , it'll make some sense. He's been around for a while and is pretty experienced.
The watch is a part of him, but seeing him try to explore other options would've been a fresher idea.
Tumblr media
Another scene that made me mad was the court (?) scene in Vreedle, Vreedle.
Ben being a hero shouldn't make him above the law.
Domstol ruling in favor of Ben just because he's the legendry Ben Tennyson was stupid.
After Ben's little monologue , and destroying Domstols desk, the judge should've just informed him that being a hero does not excuse him from following the law.
Kevin could've had his little moment doing some negotiation ( would've been nice to see how he works as con artist) and Ben could've jumped in and helped while making some good points for the argument, showing us he's not stupid.
Then having Domstol rule in their favor would've made sense.
On the way back to earth there could've been a joke about how Ben watches Judge Judy too much which is where he learnt about trials and stuff. Or maybe Gwens dad taught him a thing or two at some point.
All this doesn't mess with Ben's character all that much, he's still the hero of the show, he still has his ego but it makes him more likeable, shifts focus from his attitude, and shows us he's pretty smart and is growing into a good hero.
Ben's not a bad guy. I mean he is the hero of the show. There are tons of scenes which show he's good , like the whole sacrificing thing so the ultimates could live and all.
But little scenes here and there tend to be enough for someone , especially for someone who isn't a super hard-core Ben lover to form negative opinions on him.
Although calling him a psychopath / narc is out of line because I don't find him to be like that. His attitude was magnified by him being in the spotlight too much and writers not having a good balance in writing situations.
Ben being the main character of the show is at risk of becoming hated or less appreciated just because he's the font runner of the show.
Admit it, side characters tend to get more love most times than the main agonist of shows.
I've been watching videos on YouTube on this topic as to why this happens , and what I've come up with is that writers of shows tend to focus too much on main character. Things seem to go their way most times and this tends to get on peoples nerves, consciously or subconsciously because it's not exactly realistic.
Having shows where everything focuses on one person most times tend to backfire.
I don't mind Ben having a big head, I dont mind him making jokes and being so casual.
It's his defense mechanism to protect himself from drowning into the struggles and pressures of being a hero. But always having him be that way isn't good.
The writers should've executed it properly.
( okay this post got really long,  more than I thought it would. If you're read the whole things , congratulations on making it here lol.
I'm not going to stop anyone from replying to this because everyone has different opinions and we all have the freedom to express them.
Although I believe I've made my point and I've made sure to keep in mind all the arguments about why bashing Ben is wrong when he's not a bad guy while typing this out.
I don't think I've directed any major hate towards him , its mostly towards the writers for making the situations like that, but if you think I have you can reply to it.
I'm not gonna reply back though , because again I feel I've made my point.

Taeil: the weird little nerd guy you expect to just accidentally fall off a cliff but somehow manages to turn some sticks and a string in his pocket into a trap for the thing chasing them. saves the day. gets the hot barbie girl in the end
Hansol: that one guy that gets revealed to be the killer and you’re like ‘tf he was there the entire time! how!?’ and you rewatch the movie and realized he disappeared after the first 3 minutes
Johnny: the big tough guy that logically would be the one that would survive but is really slow and gets fucked up by a zombie but doesn’t tell the group he’s been bit until his skins falling off

Ten: weird, nature dude. lives in the city but somehow knows exactly what berries will kill you in 2 minutes and how to track and hunt. no one questions how city boy knows it but yeah. really good hunter. basically Daryll.
Jaehyun: the second buddy. comedian dude. cant shut up to save his life. keeps attracting zombies with his loud ass mouth, but hes the one making sure yall dont have a mental break down over the end of the world. dies last minute of the movie after the final comedic break. rip.
WinWin: basically the baby. little brother of one of the group. got dragged along and now hes trapped with yall while the world falls apart. doesnt really talk. doesnt really do much. kinda just a lap dog that you cant really get rid of.
Mark: Little nerd boy no one knows how he got in the group. he’s not a friend or a family member. he was just there one day. no one questioned it. just accepts it. the groups secret weapon, uses his cute lil face to persuade people to give him supplies. really good fisher. on fishing duty 99% of the time.

Eight months ago you and your family moved from Puerto Rico to the United States, New York to be exact. Adapting to a new life wasn’t easy. New country, new school. You expected to be able to find friends pretty quick, but that didn’t happen, and not to mention nobody really wanted to be friends with you.
Eventually, you found some acquaintances, and your parents insisted you invite them over for a birthday party while they went out for a date night.
Your doorbell rung, and ‘your birthday party’ was still going strong. You rolled your eyes at your ‘friends’ as they all danced with each other basically leaving you out.
“I guess I’ll get it.” You huffed and stood up from your place on the couch.
“Hi-” Opening your door, you stepped outside, and closed it behind you. The music was blasting inside the house and you wouldn’t be able to hear anything.
You smelt pizza before you saw the pizza guy.
Then came a plea from the body behind the huge pile of boxes, “Help me...”
“Oh, I’m sorry, Let’s just go inside, and you can set them on the table.”
“Okay. Just hurry, my arms are dying…”
You turned on your heel and went to open the door. You turned the knob and-
“What the heck?” You exclaimed.
“What happened?” The pizza guy asked and you sighed.
“I think someone locked the door…” You pressed your ear to the door and sure enough, you heard giggling and pattering feet retreating.
----------------------------------------------
“Nina! Open the door!” You banged your fist onto the door. It was hopeless, they had turned the music up to drown out the sound. “JESSIE! MATT! SOMEONE! COME ON GUYS!”
It was no hope.
You sighed and sat on the porch. The pizza guy already sat down and put the pizza boxes down next to him.
“Algunos amigos ((Some friends))...” He sighed.
You scoffed, “Cuéntame sobre eso ((Tell me about it)).”
“¿Tu hablas español ((You speak spanish))?”
“Sí.”
“Lo siento ((I’m sorry)). I didn’t mean it. I didn’t know.”
“It’s alright.” You assured. “I feel the same way about them anyways. I mean. They hijacked my birthday party, and locked me out of my own house. So… Feliz cumpleaños to me!” Sarcasm dripped from your voice as you buried your face in your hands.
“Hey, It’ll be okay.” The guy confronted. “Their plan backfired. We have the pizza.”
You chuckled. “I guess we do… I’m Y/n by the way.”
“Sonny.” Sonny shook your outstretched hand. “Happy birthday, Y/n.”
“Thank you, Sonny.” You smiled, “I don't mean to be rude, but…. Your job?”
“Oh, no. I’m done for the night, you were my last delivery. My boss said I could go home straight after.”
“Then..” You took off the box from the top of the pizza pile, and opened it, “...you wouldn’t mind staying ere and eating all this pizza with me?”
Sonny grinned and took out a slice of pizza, “No, I wouldn’t mind at all.”
----------------------------------------------
After that night, every time you ordered pizza, which was most likely when your parents were out of town on business meetings, you and Sonny would sit out on the porch and eat together.
You would tell him about your day, and he would tell you about his. Each time you learned more about him, what he loved to do, and who was in his life.
“Yeah, Graffiti Pete is pretty much misunderstood. Everyone acts like he’s a matón, but he’s really just a super great artist.”
“Well, I’ll have to meet this Graffiti Pete sometime.”
They were silent for a little bit, then Sonny, nervous about his next sentence, said, “Maybe you can.”
“What?”
“You can come to Washington Heights and see the bodega, and you can meet Usnavi and Abuela-” “I’ll think about it, Sonny, I just don’t know if my parents’ll let me. They’re kinda protective.” You told him, and he nodded with understanding.
You heard a car pulling up to the house and looked up to see your mother’s car coming home.
You stood up and went to greet her, “Hola, mama.”
“Speak english, honey, you know how your father is.” She said as she typed away on her phone.
“Sorry, mom.”
“It’s okay, honey. Just don’t let it happen in front of your father.” She started to walk pass you. “Now, how was your day- Oh, who is this?” She questioned.
“Oh, uh, this is Sonny de la Vega. He’s my friend, I met him a few weeks ago at my party.”
Your mom ose an eyebrow and leaned over to you, “Is he one of those kids that locked you out?”
“No, ma’am.” Sonny spoke up.
“He’s the one that waited with me, mama.”
“Oh. Well, say goodbye, I want you to help me with dinner. Your father got a promotion and we’re gonna bake a cake for him.”
“Okay, mama,” You turned to Sonny. “I’ll see you later then?”
“Yeah. See ya.” Sonny agreed.
You smiled and waved, going to meet your mom at the door.
“Um… wait! Mrs. L/n… I was wondering if Y/n could come to Washington Heights sometime.”
“Well… I don’t know what your father would say, but you’re sixteen, you can drive, so it’s your choice.”
“Really?!” You asked astonished. Your mother nodded in affirmation. “Okay, then, I’ll drive over on Saturday?”
“Saturday’s great.”
“Okay. See you then!” You said.
Sonny waved. You waved back and went inside.
----------------------------------------------
“No.” Your father said.
“But papa!” You complained. You were ready to go, keys in hand, shoes on and halfway out the door, but your father had stopped you and asked where you were going.
“Y/n, I said no!” He raised his voice, and continued, “You don’t need to be going to that Jefferson Heights or whatever it is.”
“It’s Washington Heights, and mom said I could go if I want to!” You informed.
“Well I say no.” He argued.
“Just let the girl go.” Your mother argued taking the keys from your father, and went to give them to you.
Before she could though, he snatched the keys back and repeated. “I said no. I don’t want you going to that place. Now go and get washed up for dinner.”
You groaned and left to go upstairs.
Lunch was silent.
----------------------------------------------
Sonny showed up at your house later day.
“Y/n?” He asked, seeing you sitting quietly.
Sitting on your in your porch in your own thoughts, you didn’t hear him till he was right next to you.
“Y/n?” He touched your shoulder, and you jumped. “Hey. It’s just me. You okay?”
“Yeah. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“I don’t know, I was just worried. You didn’t show up, and you didn’t call.” He explained , and sat in the chair next to you. “Then you didn’t answer your phone, so I came over to see if you were okay.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. My dad just didn’t let me leave earlier, and I left my phone in my room. Sorry.”
“No need to apologize, Y/n.”
Silence filled the space between you two. “Crazy idea.” Sonny suddenly said.
You looked at him with suspicion, “What is it?”
“You’re not the only one with a car…” Sonny trailed off. You got the idea.
You liked it.
In your silence, Sonny became a little anxious and spurted out, “If you don’t want to that’s completely-”
“Are you suggesting I defy my father and go with you to Washington Heights, Sonny de la Vega? That’s so… bad.”
Sonny blushed, and you let out a giggle. “I mean, if you didn’t like the idea.”
You suddenly stood up and held out your hand. “Let’s go.”
“Seriously?” Sonny sounded surprised.
You couldn’t blame him. All your friends always told you to ‘live a little, Y/n’, usually that phrase was proceed by ‘it was just a joke’, but still, you did need to live a little and not worry about the consequences for once.
“Yeah. My mom and dad are either watching TV or working or both. They won’t notice I’m gone for a while.” You shrugged, slightly convincing yourself while convincing him.
“Okay, then. Let’s go.” Sonny took your hand and stood up, pulling you towards his car. The two of you got in and drove away.
