New headcanon, part of the reason all the Skyloftian designs seem so fluffy is because they have down feather sewn in between layers of cloth so they can stay warm in that frigid higher elevation air and deal with the wind.

I don’t know how that would look aesthetically, but I’m gonna imagine it anyway. They layer the heck up when they’re chilling and then they have down feather tunics for flying or something.
