I picked up this graphic novel at the bookstore the other day, nd finally got the chance to read it-- only to find it's an ongoing webcomic with not one, not two, not three, but now starting on FOUR books worth of story!?!? And I cannot WAIT to read them all!

I am also very proud to say that, (whether it counts or not given that it's a graphic novel), this is the first book I have read for fun since high school. I wish I was joking. Going on an 8 year drought form various menthol iwnesses, I'm glad to have found this novel irl, and to be hooked into another story >:)

The characters are very loveable, the art is gorgeous, and the novel irl is very sturdy and well made honestly, beautiful print and thick pages. I highly recommend giving this comic a shot in the link, or giving @pepurika's other art a look! :)))

so, you heard about a silly little server called lifesteal. maybe u wanna try watching it. well what if i told u that we here at lifestealblr have put together a helpful guide to help you succumb to the poisons start watching the server?? join us we are very normal

so! lifesteal! first, a summary. lifesteal is a server where when u die, you lose a heart off your permanent health bar. when you kill another player you gain a heart. heres a list to sum it up:

dying loses you a heart

killing someone else gains you a heart

losing all your hearts = dead and gone from the series, unless youre revived

you can revive dead players through gay sex crafting a special item

you can withdraw hearts from your healthbar and give them to other players

lifesteal smp has FOUR seperate seasons so far!! the players are the same, give or take a few people. so, where to start?

first, you don't need to watch the seasons in order. you don't need to know anything about previous seasons to watch lifesteal. start with whatever season you want!! that being said, i'd advise starting on season three or season four (the current season) as they are the most popular.

Canon made me ship it. Saiki is just too permissive with Toritsuka, Toritsuka is a little too gay on main for Saiki, and the cat tank seals the deal.

I love that they are so sillay. They get into stupid little fights all the time but are also loyal to the death for each other but also think the other one is sooooo cringe but also must snuggle regularly or they'll die.

I ship Torisai in a way I haven't really seen anyone else do it. I call my flavor "clown shoes Torisai" because of this end note I wrote on one of my Torisai fics that I think sums it up pretty perfectly:

Would Toritsuka be the BEST partner for Saiki? Absolutely not. But they bring out the immaturity in each other in such a way that it almost wraps around to being wholesome when you consider that neither of them got to just be a silly kid having fun and rough-housing with their friends on the playground, y'know? And I think there's something wonderful about having someone you can just be yourself around, even the less presentable and frankly ugly parts of you sometimes, and knowing that at the end of the day you both still love each other just as much, perhaps even more so.

Also I don't think they'd get married except for purely logistical reasons waaaaaaaaay after they've essentially been husbands in all but name because neither of them can stand the cringe at the thought of being married to each other LOL. I'm talking about only after 20 years of being boyfriends would they roll their eyes and host the most ridiculous PVP clown wedding where Saiki keeps dodging Toritsuka's attempts to put a ring on his finger while chanting [Gay. Gay. Gay. Homosexual.] because Toritsuka is STILL in denial about his sexuality and Toritsuka's yelling and pleading until Saiki finally gives in, and the best part is that Saiki looks unbearably smug about the ring on his finger but will still deny having wanted to participate in this farce.
